Today we are going to talk about late round picks. Some of our favorite late round picks basically pick 100 or later and there will be some wide receivers on this list. Let me just give you a quick note about late round wide receivers. Over the past six seasons there have been 36 wide receivers drafted in round nine or later. That's 97th overall or later that have finished either top 24 overall or top 24 per game. That's six per year over the last six season. Season. So you can get a lot of value there. And in the first five seasons of that stretch, 2020-2024, there were at least two rookies every year that finished top 24 overall or per game. There were zero last year, so kind of feeling there might be zero this year, but unless Casey Concepcion falls there, well, we will see. Calling him, calling it collusion for not. For not freeing up enough roster spots, not seeing the message on the message board. Dan's having a little trouble with his emails and not being ready for the dynasty draft. So using a workaround of. Of trading players with each pick with another manager who didn't have enough roster spots and it got a little hairy, Got a little controversial. Dan, what do you have to say for yourself?

All right, well, let's just start from the beginning here. Okay. Beginning here is. It's the weekend we start the dynasty draft on the weekend. I'm away this past weekend.

We started on Friday.

Friday. But. But my first pick was made on the weekend.

Okay. Or my first pick was. No, I was able to make my first pick. Okay. So by the time it gets to my second round pick, where the issue where the issue starts. It's Saturday. It's Saturday in the middle of the day. I'm at lighthouse links. I'm on a golf trip with friends, and I realized when I'm trying to click my player Emmett Johnson to make my pick of Emmett Johnson in round two, who is by far and away top player on my board all off season on beyond the box score. I have said he was my RB2 going into the draft before the draft, and he was clearly my best player overall at that point. It says, you can't make this pick. So I text Heath, I'VE been here before. A few years back, it's. That's not, not new ground to me, which is definitely not pro for my case. But three years ago, this happened. I said, heath, it's happening. What can I do here? And so he gives me some options. And so I take one of the options. I go nuts on the message board, hey, anyone trade me, I'll give you whatever, just let me make my pick. I just want to make my freaking pick. In a dynasty league, it seems like an important thing to do that everybody who has their picks gets to make their picks. That's my opinion, at least it seems like probably the most important thing to do anyway. I'm texting the league, I'll trade you whatever. I finally find someone who's willing to trade down with me. I have to give up my pick in round two. I lose out on Emmett Johnson and I get another player. I'm able to make my pick. I get nothing out of this. I just get to move down because I didn't see the message in time to get my roster down. So anyway, I make the trade, I lose Emmett Johnson, I don't say a word about this. I don't say a peep, I don't complain. I'm dealing with it. It's fine. Then it's getting to the next round and somebody from the league, and this is the truth, I'm not going to say his name, texts me and says, I got an idea. I think if you trade players, they don't make you force. Like you can get over the roster limit if you trade players. So, okay, I accept it because to me, I thought, and this is where I was wrong, I thought Heath agreed with me until this week. I was way wrong about this. I thought he agreed with me that it was stupid, that the. That on CBS you can't cut players before you draft them because on every other app that I draft Dynasty on, you can cut players before you draft them. Jamie discussed this yesterday before we were on the show. Every other dynasty I've ever played, you don't have to be in this really tight spot where you can't cut a player. Once the draft is start for some reason, the roster is on full lock, which now I know Heath likes and Heath wants. And I just didn't know Heath would wanted that because from the, like the conversations I had with Heath, it sounded like he kind of agreed, oh, this is a stupid spot right now. And you, you can do this and this to try to get out of it. So I was wrong. About that. Heath likes that rule. Apparently, to me it's one of the dumbest rules in the history of fantasy football and dynasty football. NFL teams don't cut rosters down to September. Every other dynasty guy playing doesn't cut rosters down. So for this league to have this strict rule where if somebody misses this deadline where the draft hits start and the commissioner hits start on deadline, if somebody misses that deadline, you're going to lead to a situation where they don't get to make their draft picks in a dynasty league. Now, in my mind, that's the worst case scenario. Obviously that's not the worst case scenario. In Heath's mind, he's mine. The worst case scenario is somebody doing these trade backs or whatever workaround to try to make their rookie draft picks. To me, those two things don't equate. One compromises the competitiveness of the league, people having to forfeit draft picks. The other is somebody gets two extra days to make releases. Like what did I gain? What did me and the other manager who proposed this idea to me gain by this? We had an extra 48 hours before we could cut our players. Because to me you should just be able to cut the player, then make the pick. Or you expand the roster three spots and then everybody makes the pick like the NFL and you cut down at a later date. Because that's what every other dynasty that I play in is. So that's where I stand. Where I stand is just. Look, I made a mistake. No, let me finish. I made a mistake. Come on, take accountability for it. I have a lot to say. I've you guys been spewing on me all week and I haven't begun to word it. I made a mistake by not. It's. It's a mistake. But like I'll tell you this, I look went into my account details on CBS Sports and tried to change my email to Paramount. Try to do everything I can. I can't get these emails. I searched my inbox. No emails from Dynasty on my account page on alerts, the place you're supposed to go, it says that right now I'm supposed to be getting emails for messages. It says checked off email. I don't see the emails. I search. I can't get them. They're nowhere to be found. So the same thing is going to keep repeating itself for me unless I magic. But it won't because now after the season just gonna mass cut a thousand players. I don't even care.

Yeah, I am, I am because I want to make My draft picks in a rookie dynasty league. And I would say the worst case scenario is two teams having a forfeit their draft picks in a rookie dynasty. Forfeited picks for doing nothing wrong. Like, what is that? That's a horrible scenario. We want to play in a league where people are forfeiting picks because the rosters weren't expanded or the app won't let you cut a player before you draft them, even though every other app will. Like, come on. What are we doing here? I don't get it.

Dan, we play in a league that has rules. Those rules have to be guarded by men with commissioner powers. Who's gonna do it? You? Lieutenant Costanza, I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for lost fourth round picks. You curse roster limits. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That lost picks, while tragic, probably saved the league. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves leagues. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me as commish. You need me as commish. We use words like roster limits, collusion, league notifications. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very league that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a commissioner title and stand the post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you're entitled to.

I think it's a ridiculous rule to have these roster limitations going into Dynast league, as I mentioned, not any of my other dynast leagues besides the two that I play in that Heath runs. I don't even know if he runs yellow. I assume he runs yellow. Somebody else. Honestly, besides the two that he's run. I don't have this problem because this is not an actual rule in any of those other leagues. You can either make the cut at the time of the draft because the app allows you to, or the a couple other leagues. I plan they expand the rosters like the NFL teams do. I mean, the NFL teams aren't cutting down until September. Why are we cutting down in May? It makes no sense to me.

Yes, I do the rule changes for one reason, one reason all. I don't want to be in a position and I would hope Heath doesn't, but I don't know where this happens again. Where two teams are text are not able to make their draft picks in a rookie dynasty league, to me that's the worst case scenario. I thought we were playing for fun. I didn't think we want a technicality, two teams out of making their picks and try to really go hard on that and really get an edge for whoever else is in this league. And look, it's our fault, me and the other guy for not doing it. I get it. But like, is this what we want? A world we want to live in where people are forfeiting draft picks in round two. It just doesn't feel good to me. But maybe others are good with that.

No, I think, look, I think there's a lot of leagues where if I weren't getting my email notifications, I would miss things too, including the draft date. So I actually don't really blame you for that. I don't blame Heath either. It was an unfortunate situation. There is an easy way we can get your email situation fixed and I think we should stop blaming the app. It's the rule that Heath wanted. Heath's the commissioner, that's fine.

All right, but question for Heath. We had an email from Alexander and he wants to know if I only have one first round rookie pick. I must have at least one open roster spot in order to make the pick. What happens if I decide to trade back my 110 for 202 and 210? Is this forbidden because I can't drop players during the draft?

Yeah, you know I think it's. It's really good point. Fantastic that Alexander in like 45 words made a better point than Dan has made in two weeks. And this is something that kind of caused me to pause that like yeah, I think that that that part of it is something that I need to think about. It would like I do think you kind of just need I usually go into the rookie draft with one more roster spot that I need but if you're only most dynasty leagues I'm in that last guy on your like the guys Dan's trying to trade right now aren't guys that he cared if he cut or cut or not. He knows that he's going to cut them. So when you make that trade just trade the 110 and the one extra player for those two picks.

But that team may not have the roster space for it. That's kind of the point. Alexander's email and I think it goes beyond just that one individual example. Like there's going to be be plenty of times where you don't know going into a draft class based on trades that you may make how many roster spots you actually need and how many you don't need. That's kind of the point of the expanded rosters or the ability to cut players at the time of the draft. So you can actually make those decisions live in time. If you get a trade offer like that or if anything comes and you're like ah, I see the board now. I don't really actually need this pick or actually I want five picks because there are five players I like, they're still on the board. You should have that flexibility to know that you shouldn't be locked into. I have a certain amount of guys I can draft or God forbid I have to scramble in the league and try to trade away players and trade four players. That just doesn't seem good.

Just to be clear, I do add two extra roster spots. That's the only reason you were able to make a pick in the draft. So I do add two.

And all signs indicate that the Giants offense is going to be very run heavy. John Harbaugh was asked about he said if you can't run the ball, you know what are you going to do? You can't. You have to run the ball. And then Jackson Dart acknowledged it as well. So another thing to think about when thinking about Malik Neighbors and we'll talk about Isaiah likely a little bit later. Heath, you were not on yesterday's show with the mid round pick, so I'll let you start with your late round picks. Rashad White of the Washington Commanders is

on your list and I just want to say right at the start that Dave sent his list in first and his list is better than mine and I would have put several of the names that Dave put on his list on my list. But yes, I it's funny, I looked at two different lists when we were trying to decide this and one of them had bill in round 11, one of them had Rashad White in round 11. I think either of them after after the first 10 rounds is a fantastic pick. I expect White to have the pass game role locked up and there's probably a lot of targets available behind Terry McClure in this offense. Some of them could go to Antonio Williams, some of them go to Chigaconquo. Somebody might talk about those guys later, but I think Rashad White will definitely take care of the running back targets and has an opportunity as well to work work on early downs. He'll be there two minute drill guy. He could be a good flex in PPR and he may just prove to be the best rusher or the guy they trust more on early downs as well and be a fantastic value here. I think he's a good value here in his current role though.

Okay, Rashad White Xavier Worthy Now I'm going to throw a Xavier Worthy in with a guy that Dave has on his list, which is Travis Kelsey. Kelsey was a top six tight end per game with Patrick Mahomes. Worthy was pretty much a non factor last year. He played eight games with Mahomes, Rice, Kelsey and Worthy all playing those eight games. Worthy had a 16.2% target share, Kelsey was about 20.2% I believe and Rice was something like 28%. But here's a question. Heath and then Dave and then Jamie. Can Zave can can Xavier Worthy and Travis Kelsey both be good assuming Rashi Rice is, you know, Rashi Rice or do you think there's only room for one of them to be good?

Heath? If Rasheed rice is a 30 target share guy and plays 17 games, I think it's really difficult for both Xavier Worthy and Travis Kelsey to be good. But I don't know that they have to be good to be values in round 11 or later. They're both just really cheap. We've heard a lot of the Chiefs talking this off season about how Worthy's lack of involvement was due to the fact that he wasn't really ever healthy after he got truck sticked by his own teammate in week one. And so I think there's opportunity there and when we when I was talking about Rashi Rice and and why I think Jamie too, like everything went so great for him this off season until about a week ago everything went so great for Xavier Worthy. They they didn't bring in anybody that I think is going to compete with him for targets either. And if rice is not 100 because he's trying to rehab in a jail then or if Rice is suspended or if Rice does something else wrong and Worthy has a chance to be A smash value. But I think even If Rice plays 17 games, Worthy will be better than around 11 value.

I feel the same way about Kelsey. Tell me if you think this is good. A tight end that gets at least 10 PPR points in 62.5% of his games.

Yeah. Not a guy that I'm gonna go to the waiver wire much for. Just gonna leave him in my roster.

Sure. That's what Kelsey did last year in full games with Mahomes and Rice. It's an eight game sample, but that's what he did. And there were a couple games. His two best games of the year came with both Mahomes and Rice on the field. I know that that's not what you expect when you hear the name Travis Kelsey. When you hear that name, if you've been playing fantasy for more than a year, you're thinking about a guy that can help you win your week every week, and now he just can't do that. But he's also not getting drafted with a top 30 pick. Now it's like pick 100 when Travis Kelsey comes off the board. So I. I don't mind. And Adam, I know you've been doing this in our early drafts. I don't mind waiting on Kelsey. Assuming I don't get a good value at tight end within the first five rounds. I'll just go greater late and Kelsey will be somebody that I target late.

This is the first time since 2014 if the data is accurate because it's obviously a bunch of different sites, but first time since 2014 that he will not be a top five pick at tight end.

Yeah. Just just goes to show his staying power and obviously how great he's been. I think the. There's a couple things here that, you know, you look at with this. Well, more than a couple, but, you know, a couple that haven't been mentioned. Obviously you got to see what's happening with. With Rice in regards to both these guys. I think Kelsey probably just goes up incrementally. If Rice isn't there, Worthy takes a huge leap. Obviously if Rice isn't there. You know, you wonder if there's still a player out there that we know of that has ties to the Chiefs. Do they consider bringing in Tyree Kill if this goes the way that it could for. For Rice either with injury or potential suspension just to have something, somebody there that has some familiarity with the, with the team. Mahomes. And where is he, you know, what's, what's the status of his knee and is he the same guy? You know, is, is he better? Because you know, of, you know, just having to, you know, change some things this off season. His numbers, I, I know obviously it was, you know, and he's obviously Stone's prime but you know, peak Mahomes from a statistical standpoint, his numbers were at his best when Eric B. Enemy was on the offensive staff. And so now you have the enemy back. You know, how much does that, you know, factor in as well? So there's a lot of moving parts I think with the Chiefs right now. I think just given the fact of where you can get these two players in particular, like we talk about lottery tickets and again, most drafts aren't happening now. So you'll know what Rashi Rice's standing is and where he's coming into the season. But my God, best ball drafts like Xavier Worthy is a smash pick.

It's funny Dave is bringing up some ADP in our, in our private chat saying in CBS adp it's going Kelsey Worthy, Mahomes. But all these guys are late round picks. Whereas last year I think they were all going in round five or six and Rasheed Rice was actually going after them. He was facing a six game suspension and now obviously Rice is going first and all three Mahomes, Mahomes who was, you know, he's coming off a torn acl but he was at the top five quarterback with three, number three quarterback, something like that per game. And then, and then Kelsey top six per game with Mahomes and Worthy had kind of a lost season because of the injury but they're all late picks now. As of right now, I want to show you just one thing with, with Kelsey, you know we talk a lot about his age, his 37 in October two years ago. The efficiency was really bad last year he had a nice bounce back. He's not great anymore. But take a look if you're watching YouTube the Target, you see the target percentage. That's target per out run and I'll highlight it for you. Target per out run rate last year for Kelsey was 18.8%. It's a huge, huge decline. Two previous years, 23.5%, 18.8% target per out run rate. And then I'm going to add one other thing here that doesn't get talked about a lot with Kelsey. Maybe it does, but it's Touchdowns and watch his target, his target share his target per run rate in the green zone and look at how much it's collapsed. 13.5% last year, 18.8% the year before. So Travis Kelce used to get routinely a quarter of the green zone target or get targeted on a quarter of his routes in the green zone. Now it's not even close and yet he still is among the league. Last year he led all tight ends and goal to go route runs, routes run, but he just doesn't get targeted there anymore. It's really weird. If we can get back to that, maybe you can get us eight touchdowns or something like that. But kind of a strange trend for Kelsey that Holmes just does not look for him in the end zone nearly as much as it used to. Okay, back to Heath's lists we had. Yeah, why don't we stick with a tight end here? We'll save Tucker for last. Let's go to Mark Andrews. Mark Andrews is on this list for you. And, and how do you compare Andrews and Kelsey?

I think they're, they're very similar. Kelsey is definitely ahead of Andrews. If we don't think rashi rice is 100 going into the year or he's not going to be available for 100 of the games if Rice is, then I think they're both kind of borderline top 12 tight ends. I expect Andrews to benefit from the departure of Isaiah. Likely. I don't. I'm not super optimistic that either of the rookie wide receivers the Ravens drafted are going to have a huge share of the targets. Andrew should have a bigger share than he did last year. And I think that they, it's quite likely that they throw.

So, you know, obviously coming from a system that, that may favor tight end and we may be talking about Ben Johnson's tree in the same light that we talk about Kevin Stefanski's tree, you know, so there's, there's a good bounce back situation here for Andrews who, you know, prior to last year was consistent with his fantasy production. Obviously it was kind of weird how he did it, you know, 2023 or excuse me, 2024. So touchdown dependent. So it's a lot, it's a lot to like based on his value because you know, you could see different, you know, moving parts for this offense just because it's a change, changing head coach, change coordinator. But obviously we know that, that Lamar Jackson likes him and it was so surprising that in December that they gave him the three year extension when they knew likely was up to be a free agent. Like I think we all thought, okay, Andrews walks, they resign likely and they build around the younger player and here they go sticking with the veteran. So I don't know how much of that was Lamar Jackson, how much of that was just management, you know, wanting to keep Andrews around, how much they still think that Andrews has to offer. But obviously things worked out pretty well for him this off season too and

they changed coaches after that, which was all the more interesting. I got confused with Doyle with another offensive coordinator who worked with Ben Johnson once upon a time. But yeah, Doyle was with Ben Johnson last year. Doyle is a Sean Payton disciple. I've been doing a bunch of research on the new play callers across the league and definitely was a tight ends coach. Definitely has a track record of leaning into his tight ends. We've already talked about the lack of other decent tight ends in Baltimore. What's stopping Mark Andrews from going back to being second on the team in targets. And I agree with Heath that there should be a slight uptick in pass attempts from Baltimore moving forward.

I mean, it's one thing to be second on the team in targets, but if they're going to be last in the NFL, they might have a slight uptick, but they still might be, you know, 30. They're basically 30 or lower in pass attempts every year except for one of Lamar Jackson's career. I might be slightly off on that, but they're super run heavy every year. They don't throw a Lot. And I have his stats up. Mark Andrews, I want you to look at the end zone target column. I'll highlight it here. He's the opposite of Kelsey. Sorry. He gets a lot of them now. Two years ago, he caught 80% of them, which was insane. Last year he caught like. Like 15 of them or something like that. So maybe more than that, but it was kind of low. But he. I kind of look at him as maybe this year's Dallas Goddard, where he'd have to score a lot of touchdowns. Mark Andrews, which is what he did in 2024.

But I don't know. As recently as 2023, Mark Andrews played nine healthy games, played one game with 10 of the snaps. In the nine games, he was on pace for 81 catches, 984 yards, 12 touchdowns on 111 targets. He was the best tight end in fantasy when he was healthy in 2023, 2024, he was all touchdowns. Last year, he was tight end, 27 per game. But it is two years in a row with 70 targets in a full season. So I don't know. I'm not really that optimistic about him. I don't know. Like, I. I don't. I don't see how he gets to 100 targets.

And by the way, I, I talked early in the show, I started out with that stat that There have been 36 wide receivers in the last six seasons drafted in round nine or later that have finished either top 24 overall or top 24 per game. The three who did it last year were Wandell Robinson, Michael Wilson, and then the one guy who did it only per game was Christian Watson. All three of them really benefited from injuries to teammates, Neighbors, Marvin Harrison Jr. And I would argue Tucker, Kraft. So that is often what happens. I looked at the list that there's been a lot of guys who have just really been target hogs because of injuries. We can't, we can't sit here and predict that. But that's a lot of times the guys who end up emerging from this range. But we'll give you some more names to consider when we come back. We'll take a break and Dave and Jamie will give their lists after this. So Dave's talked about Travis Kelsey already, so we'll skip Kelsey and we'll go to Isaiah Likely. Isaiah Likely. Jamie Likely's ADP is one of the strangest things I've seen because usually people get More excited about new players joining new teams. Players that have a track record like this where there's always generate. He always generates hype anytime he does something of significance. And I would have thought if you were to say, okay, here's the tight end ADP or just ADP overall, that likely would have been in the top 10 range of his position and the fact that he's not as a little disturbing to me. So I, I wonder why the market is not not reflecting that. I'm sure that will change once we get to redraft leagues, but I think there's a huge upside play here for Likely. So definitely him.

Coach knows who he is and what he's capable of doing and who's going to be the number two target getter in New York. And all this talk about they want to be more run heavy, okay, fine, so they're not going to be a bastion of passing. But think about what they've got. It's neighbors coming off of an acl. It's a bunch of other receivers that are either inexperienced or underwhelming for their entire careers. And then it's Isaiah Likely who admittedly has been a little underwhelming, but he's also never had a lot of opportunities. He's had nine career games with six or more targets. He's had 12 and a half or more PPR points in eight of the nine.

Wow. Okay, so you can choose your favorite set. Either way, you love it. And then Nagy brought in Trey Burton in Chicago. When he went to Chicago, gave him a huge amount of money. He underwhelmed. It was nine point. I have it here somewhere. 9.2 PPR points per game, 4.8 targets per game. That would suck. And that would be an even worse floor for likely than what we're talking about. But that's also not six targets per game. And then obviously Nagy did a lot of work with Travis Kelsey at tight end. These are not the same players. Likely much more of a receiving tight end than a do it all tight end like Kelsey is. I don't mind taking the chance on him and the ADP is helpful. So I this is the I will target him. Like I said, I will target him ahead of Kelsey, Andrews, Goddard, all these other older tight ends. Kittle, there's no way I'm going to go to battle one of those older guys when I can get somebody that's maybe the new hotness at the position.

Okay, and Jonathan Brooks and Jonah Coleman, who do you prefer?

I for now it's Brooks, but there could be a switch between now and August where I put Coleman ahead of Brooks and it really just comes down to how Brooks comes along in the preseason. Is he practicing with the team most days? Does he get into preseason games? We're talking about a running back that's had two major ACL injuries in the same knee and now suddenly we're adding him with a late pick. I guess the value is great, but the the hope is that he actually makes inroads on making chuba Hubbard A1B back. And it might be a little too far fetched, but if it's a double digit round pick, I don't mind the concept of it. It just might be someone that you're drafting before the season and cutting by October because he's not getting the job done. And then obviously any setback that he has between now and week one and his draft stock is going to plummet. Coleman is an interesting fit in Denver. A lot of people, including some people in Denver, compare him to J.K. dobbins, but he doesn't have the injury history of J.K. dobbins. And you've got to figure the Dobbins will miss time at some point along the way. Is it going to be R.J. harvey that gets all that work or does Coleman earn a role where he leapfrogs Harvey and is the one A and Harvey is the one B? I'm going to point to some things that were really good for Coleman when he was in college. He was awesome in short yardage goal line situations. He's a good zone blocking running back. I think that he can be somebody who can contribute similarly to How Dobbins contributes for Denver and it might not be just this year. I think he's a first round pick obviously in rookie only drafts. And I think he's worth stashing. Especially if you go 0rb, you get J.K. dobbins. All right, Dobbins is your starter to begin the season. You have mild RB2 expectations for him. But then when he goes down, Coleman might be the one that you place in the lineups instead of RJ Harvey. And Harvey's being drafted out of both the Denver running backs and they're.

So who do you want to start with Jamie on his list?

I mean, again, we're looking at a backfield that we don't really know exactly who the starter is going to be. And Rodriguez could be that guy. And you're getting him significantly later than you're getting Basil Tootin. So I hope it's Tootin. I think he's got a little bit more upside than Rodriguez who doesn't have the at least resume or pedigree seemingly to be involved in the passing game significantly. But Rodriguez, as we've talked about time and again after he signed with Jacksonville, has a history with Liam Cohen from their days in Kentucky. He was good at times for the Commanders last season. So when given work I think will be productive. Could they split the the running back share the workload that is left behind by Travis Etienne? Absolutely. And then Rodriguez is still good value in a handcuff situation. Obviously has lottery ticket upside if facial Toon were to miss any time. But we sort of fell for the hype for Tootin last year. Again, different scenario because there was a proven veteran on the roster. Obviously if Rodriguez comes out in training camp and shows that he's the better of the two running backs, this ADP is going to change. So you're getting him at a discount now. But again this is just one of those situations where could the second guy and the guy that they paid be a little bit better than the guy that we are expecting to be the incumbent. I just like to take a lot of shots on Chris Rodriguez. I think as a fourth running back, in some cases maybe a fifth running back depending on how many you like to put on your team. This is a guy that can end up being significantly more valuable than we are drafting him right now.

Okay, and Chris Rodriguez. Yeah, six career catches. Do you think he over under six catches this year for Chris Rodriguez? I'll take the okay, just a fun note here. This is why advanced metrics are fun but not always so helpful. Over the last three seasons among 87 running backs with 100 or more carries, Chris Rodriguez ranks 10th in a void rate which is great. Number one on the list is Kendry Miller. Number five is Tank Bigsby. Number seven is Antonio Gibson. Number eight is Jaleel McLaughlin. So it's like Rodriguez has great stats but everything is just such small samples with him. But no, I mean I totally agree. Not trying to throw cold water on it's a great pick. Just a thought. Just a note on stats. All right. Dallas Goddard Dallas Goddard was the number five tight end per game in non and half PPR. Number six in full PPR. He has been a top 13 per game tight end in in full PPR in seven straight seasons. I'm guessing he's around top 13 and ADP check he is tight end 14 undervalued.

Jamie Dallas Goddard, so undervalued. And again, this will change when the AJ Brown trade I'm sure officially happens. But you see the path here, right? It's taking away a significant piece of this offense and changing things around. Obviously, Makai Lemon comes in, 20th overall pick in the NFL draft. I think what's not being said enough is they drafted another tight end that we're expecting to just be the replacement. But what if we see a lot more 12 personnel for them and. And we see stowers on the field a little bit more. Remember changing play caller. So personnel could be a little bit different for, for the Eagles as well. So Goddard may lose a few opportunities even though there's something being removed with A.J. brown gone. But still, if you take A.J. brown off the field, I think you just want to, you know, take chances on a guy that has clearly been a go to option for Jalen Hurts and you know, Heath made this comment. I forget who it was about. Maybe it was about Goddard. But Hurt Hurts has been stubborn to change things. If he's going to be stubborn to adapt to Sean Manion and still want to stick to the guys that he's relying on, then devonte Smith and Dallas God are in great spots. So I think just looking at where Goddard's ADP is again taking chances on late round tight ends, you, you said it, Adam. You know, he's got a track record that's hard to argue with. He's also got an injury history that's hard to argue with as well. So you got to be prepared for him to miss a couple of weeks at some point during the season, at least if that holds. But again, playing for a contract here, coming off a season where he was among the leaders and touchdowns at the position among the leaders and pass catchers and touchdowns, you know, Dallas Goddard just is an easy auto pick if you just miss on all these tight ends. It's funny because two of the guys that we mentioned, I, I think I mentioned this and I was going to bring it up with Dan. When Dan's saying he couldn't make a draft pick while he was on the golf course. I said this either yesterday or Monday. Last week I did a draft for a magazine. I'm coaching a baseball game. I am running the game changer where I have to keep track of the score and doing a draft all at the same time. I drafted Isaiah, likely the only auto pick that I had. I'm sorry I had to. The last pick, which I didn't really care about but I had two auto picks. One was like round 11 or 12. It was, it was Dallas Goddard and I think that's an easy tight end pairing. If you're a little bit concerned about does Isaiah likely take that step forward Dallas guy, it's a great fallback option. So you know, if you want to take two tight ends, give me likely and Goddard all day long.

This is a great team name from or nickname from Mike D for three Dallas Pater. Yeah, because that means scoring a touchdown. But let me show you this page for Dallas Goddard just for fun. He led. He was tied with Jake Ferguson for most targets among tight ends from the one to five yard line. But he scored seven touchdowns. No one else scored more than four. And then if you look at this history, this is the page that shows Dallas Goddard's tight end targets. Targets by season from the five yard line are closer. He has 20 for his career. He had eight last year. He had four straight seasons with one. So they just, they were intentional about it. They threw a lot of screens to him near the goal line. But even in the years where he wasn't scoring a lot of touchdowns, top 13 per game in PPR seven straight seasons. Heath, any thoughts on Goddard versus Likely and Kelsey and Andrews?

I mean we've said a lot. It was just a little surprising that he's so late on fantasy pros adp, you know, so for a guy that led the position in fantasy points per game last year, and I know you know the, the sample size for Stafford is two years over 25 fantasy points and two years under 20 fantasy points. Like which Stafford are we getting this season? But I think you just have to look at what he did last year, first year with, you know, the two receivers that he had, Devonte Adams as the touchdown guy and Puka Nakua having career season. Like you, you just look at this and say, okay, if I miss on everything, I'll take the NFL MVP this late. You know, so it's just easy to, you know, fall back on. But again, this position is so deep, you know, it's a matter of do you take the chance on Stafford doing this again or let's say Kyler Murray who's also going this range. Another guy I was going to mention, but I feel like we talk about him a lot too. Another guy that's in this range that has in my opinion huge upside also. So I would probably lean toward the proven guy more so than the unproven in terms of what they just did a year ago. To me, Stafford is an easy, easy fallback option. And I think if we were to say he's going to do X, Y or Z of anything that he did a year ago, he'd be a top five player at his position. It's just the fact that he's 38 years old. They drafted a guy, you know, this plays on people's minds. They drafted his replacement. So I think that weighs down his value a little bit. You know, in terms of Ty Simpson with the first round pick, you're looking again if you, if you take the body of work that Stafford was not good in 2024, 2023 as a fantasy quarterback, but still like just had such an amazing season. You love the play caller, you love the weapons. It's hard not to think that Stafford could be 20 plus points per game again. And I think just getting him in this range, it's easy to, you know, to take him.

So when you say his, his ADP is so low, what kind of ADP are you seeing for Stafford?

I mean round 11 or later is pretty good.

Yeah, I'm seeing him right around 100th or so. QB 13. Yeah, I mean fantasy pros. Depends what format you look at. You look at non PPR. I think he's QB14, QB15 and in on full PPR is QB13 going about 104th I think.

It's almost like what Heath was saying with the Raiders receivers. Like, you know, you're looking at the guys that are going to be involved opposite or along with with Terry McLaurin. And as of right now, these are the top two guys. You know, Rashad White's going to factor in as well, or at least a running back will factor as well. I would, I would say it's White also. The one thing that you got to keep an eye on is this is a Stefan Diggs potential destination, you know, that's been rumored. He's from the Maryland area, so could he, you know, sign with the commanders? I think that changes things certainly for Williams, but I mean, obviously we saw Jane Daniels in his rookie season. Zach Ertz was a huge part of what he was doing. And Okonko is one of these, you know, unique tight ends that he's extremely fast. He was the fastest guy at the combine when he came out. He doesn't necessarily catch the ball like you would like to see, has an issue with drops, but an athletic tight end that finds a way to get open when he's gotten targets. He's been successful with them. And so this is just an easy late round guy again past the Goddard, Andrews, Kelsey range, you know, if you miss on those guys. But if you're inclined to take two tight ends, if you want to pair an older tight end with a guy that's just getting a great opportunity, you know, again, looking at this receiving core, it's Terry McLaurin and a bunch of unknowns. And so that's where Antonio Williams comes into play. Obviously a guy that they drafted with the perfect clear destination to just go get targets right away. And so if he can prove himself to be, you know, better than the trailing burks of the world and the other guys that they have there, you know, just a lot of veterans, Diamond Brown, you know, guys that aren't Exactly. I think players with upside in their careers at this point, you know, so Williams can go step in right away, earn a role and these are just two guys again when you're looking at opportunities at tight end and wide receiver, they both have it.

I'm going to throw out just some, some late round picks according to current fantasy pros ADP that we haven't talked about. Tell me how excited you would be to draft them. How about Jalen Coker?

I originally was going to give him as one of the list him as one of the players but it's, it's obviously tougher now to expect a big season after drafting Brazil and you know, looking at where Coker was the majority of the year last year, like he had some good moments. I just don't know if it'll be consistent. Like he'll probably have some flashes but still believe in the player. I just don't love the, the scenario right now that they bring in another wide receiver.

But it's. People agree with Dan's take on expanding the rosters and just allowing people to make their picks. I think that's where people come out on this and I know that's where Adam comes out on this because he does it as the baked burger commissioner. I don't think anybody can agree with Dan's excuse making about why he didn't follow the rules that you have laid out that you obviously were very clear on the not getting emails again. I'm in the same boat. I have to fix my email from. From our leagues as well. I don't get those either for some glitch. So Dan's not alone in that. But that being said, that's why I asked Dan the question. I played in dynasty leagues multiple years. I know that usually after the rookie draft, whether there's going to be a draft or not, there's probably gonna be some mention of it. The NFL draft, there's gonna be some mention of the rookie draft. I saw what Heath's message is in both the draft, both leagues that he runs. I made the proper ad drops that I needed to make to make my draft picks. And I think that's how you have to approach it. Like he's played in. If this was his first time, and I know it's a. It's a startup dynasty league from 2025, but if this was his first time playing Dynasty and he made the mistake, I would feel much worse for him. Totally would say, oh, it was.

It was the reason that I basically ruled like Adam suggested and let the picks that had been made stand because there was someone else in the league who had made the same mistake. If it had just been Dan, I. I was 100 with you guys. And I listen, I think Dan did a good job of gaslighting the audience and trying to turn this into a discussion about my rules instead of the fact that he didn't pay attention or follow the rules.
