Adam
This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports.
Dan
What a play. Can you believe this? No, I can't.
Adam
It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races and he stays at his feet. Let'.
Dan
Now here's some combination of Adam.
Adam
Dave, Jamie and Heath. It's mailbag time. What's up, everybody? Welcome to the show Fantasy Football today presented by BetMGM. Make it legendary. Today's show is going to be legendary. We've got big news updates for you. We've got your YouTube comments emails@fantasy footballbsi.com that's letter I. Fantasy football@cbsi.com We've got, you got to figure pretty happy Dan right now. I mean, look at this comment in the chat from Cold Cuts. Oh, wait, he loves Cold Cuts with the comment dart is legit.
Dan
Really legit.
Adam
That's. Yeah, I guess so. We're gonna make that claim after three games. We're there. We're in. Jamie's here as well. We got your Apple podcast questions. We got the Fantasy cops. Happy Friday. Dan Schneider, you sound sick.
Dan
Yeah, I finally pulled an azer and got sick. This is like a three, four day thing. It's kind of weird. I'm not getting over it anytime soon. It seems like I thought it would be over with tested for Covid, whatnot, don't have anything, so I don't know what it is. I think it's just a change in the weather. But I. I did say I do. I will say this, Adam, just going back last night, you know, long night, Giants won. I was going through sports history, and I came across a game I was thinking about, and I was thinking about the 2003 Fiesta bowl, and I was thinking about the Fiesta bowl. Yeah. From 2003. And I. I think I decided, going back, watching some.
Adam
I'm not really interested in the rest of that sentence. All right, Jamie, that is an automatic mute once we start talking about the Fiesta Bowl. Let's get through the news and notes here. And Chris Godwin. Okay, Chris Godwin, he's got a fibula injury. He's not playing this week, and he is now week to week with a fibula injury. So not.
Dan
Yeah, you got to let that go through. What? You got to let the take go through. And the take is. The single most overblown narrative in sports history to come out of that game was that the Buckeyes needed a pass interference call to win that game. Honestly, I think about that game and, you know.
Adam
You know the terms. You know the terms.
Dan
I may have had a source realize.
Jamie
That'S where he was going.
Adam
I mean, come on, Jamie told you.
Dan
I'm not gonna reveal anything.
Jamie
I didn't say a word. I did not say a word.
Adam
Whoever told it was obviously Dave. Whoever told you, like, completely ruined the bit. Dave has this thing when he does this with the game of the week. I hope you're watching, Dave. You ruined the bit. He tries to tell me how to do game of the week to him because he thinks he's better than. Than I am at it. He should not have told you something so funny because I am obligated to agree with all of your takes, no matter what, until you notice it, until you figure it out.
Dan
Okay.
Adam
Bet Dave told you to do some horrible take at the top of the show, so I would agree with it that you know that I'm so. Oh, God, Dave. I'm legit mad. All right. But anyway, Chris Godwin, you didn't realize.
Jamie
That'S where he was going.
Dan
Why else would I ever bring up the 2003 Fiesta Ball?
Adam
I. I figured out eventually. Christian Watt's out this week. Alec Pierce looks like he's going to play. Let's See what else? Lamar Jackson is not going to play this week. Looks like probably still not gonna have Roquan Smith. Maybe Kyle Hamilton will be back though. Jermaine Johnson for the jets is going to play. Sorry, I'm scrolling through my phone here. Christian Gonzalez is practicing for the Patriots. So that is a good news situation there. And oh, Lee McNeil might play for the Lions. He is a great run defender, great defensive tackle.
Jamie
There goes Isaiah Pacheco.
Adam
I know, right? Yeah. And that. And yes, that is a two on Dan.
Dan
We're running out of magnets fast, boys and girls. I am at a dire situation here. Struggling to put together two and four on that fridge.
Adam
All right, we got big news here. Kyler Murray practicing today. So good cross our fingers and hope that he is ready to go. All right, Sunday 8:30am to 9:30am noon to 1. YouTube.com fantasy football today we just answer your questions for, you know, about 55 minutes or so. It's a lot of fun YouTube.com fantasy football today and we're actually going to start with some YouTube comments right now. So if you have any questions. I know we usually do these last but we'll do them early and we'll do them T. Higgins or Keon Coleman?
Jamie
T. Higgins.
Dan
Yeah, Higgins, but I don't feel confident about that.
Adam
I see nothing wrong with what Dave did in capital letters with four exclamation points. I see everything wrong with what Dave did. He ruined what would have been a very funny bit. Legit Mad at Dave. Legit hate Dave right now.
Dan
Hate is a strong word to ever use for Dave Richard.
Adam
Dave should get a two game suspension. I was offered Drake London for Cam Scatterboo. He's got Javante, Kyron Breeze Hall, Travon Henderson and Scatter Boo. And he's got good receivers too. Would you, would you rather have rest of season Scatterboo or London given this roster?
Dan
I'd rather have Scatterable given this roster. This is an insane roster. First of all, Javante, Kyron Hall. I probably feel good with that running back, so I might actually rather London.
Jamie
He'S got JS, JSN, Chase Rice and McMillan like there's no real need either way. And so running what it is, I'd rather have the running backs.
Dan
What is this, a four team league?
Adam
Michael Carter, DeAndre Swift or Travion Henderson. Pick one and half PPR.
Jamie
Swift.
Dan
Yeah, it has to be Swift.
Adam
Of those three, Ertz or Najoku?
Jamie
Najoku.
Dan
Yeah, I'll go. Hurts.
Jamie
I'll go.
Adam
I Don't think it has to be Swift, by the way, over. Mike.
Dan
I think it has to be Swift. Over. I knew you were going to say Carter instead of Swift, but, I mean.
Adam
I would start Swift, but it doesn't.
Dan
Have to be from the match for the matchup.
Adam
Yeah, the matchup's much worse for Swift. Who's gonna have more? Yeah, Washington's got much worse for Swift.
Dan
I don't think it's much worse at all.
Adam
Yeah, about yards per carry. I mean, for what that's worth, the Colts are allowing, like, almost a full yard or maybe 8.8 yards per carry more than the Commanders. That's a huge difference.
Jamie
That's because they face the Titans.
Adam
It's not just that.
Dan
I just think he's gonna get going. In the past game, Swift in that matchup.
Jamie
It was a joke, okay?
Adam
I couldn't really process it, so I just dismissed it. Higgins or Born.
Jamie
I was trying to think of the worst team that they played. I will take Born if Jennings is out. I will take Higgins if Jennings isn't.
Dan
Born. For me.
Adam
Regardless, Crosky, merit or ppr?
Dan
Half ppr Merit for me.
Adam
Crosby merit badge.
Jamie
What? Good.
Adam
Crosby merit badge.
Dan
What's that?
Adam
Oh, Cross, Nash and Young.
Dan
I barely. I've heard of that maybe a few times in my life, and I have no idea what that is.
Adam
You don't know what he, Stills, Nash and Younger.
Dan
Is it a band? I don't know. TV show? I don't know.
Adam
You're like a classic rock fan. What are you talking about?
Dan
Yeah, I don't know. I probably heard their songs. I'm not that big. I like my band bands. I like my bands.
Jamie
Like.
Dan
Oh, I'm sure I've heard their songs. What are their big songs? What are their big songs? What are their big songs? I'm sure I've heard their songs. Remember, we did this already once with the Stone Temple Pilots, and you're like, I never heard of them. But then I'd heard all of their songs.
Adam
Your children. Well, you know, Teach.
Dan
I had heard all. What was that one?
Jamie
Teach?
Adam
Your children. Well, what's that? The song that I said to Jamie and Heath, like, a few weeks ago. Sweet Judy Blue Eyes is the one that goes.
Dan
Yeah, okay, so I've heard these. I've heard them. I know the songs. Sometimes I just don't know the bands, but I know the songs.
Adam
But, okay, last week you said that the Beatles weren't that good because of, like, solos like the Rolling Stones, like you said.
Dan
I didn't say it was only based on the solos. Their drumming is not that great either. Okay, it's not. I mean, you just don't have great. They're not. They're not great instrumental players compared to some of the best. I said versus the best of all time.
Jamie
What?
Adam
They're probably better. You just don't even know it.
Dan
No, they're not. They're not better than the Allman Brothers. I know that for sure. I'm playing it, but.
Adam
All right.
Dan
Okay.
Adam
Anyway. It's insane. Insane moment right there.
Dan
I've heard the music. I just didn't know.
Adam
The name of the band is Sterling shepherd worth grabbing. And starting this week, no grabbing.
Jamie
Yes, starting depending on what your situation is. He's in that low end wide receiver three conversation.
Dan
Does Dan know who Elvis is? I do know who Elvis is.
Adam
I don't. I'm not convinced I've heard his music.
Jamie
I don't know.
Dan
No.
Adam
Just kidding. Last one for. For now. Franklin Golden, Coleman Born. Pick two.
Jamie
Born and Franklin.
Dan
I'm assuming it's full ppr. I'll go Born.
Jamie
I'll.
Dan
I'll give golden one more chance. Born in Golden.
Adam
Now does Sterling shepherd enter this conversation with Franklin Golden, Coleman and Bourne.
Jamie
He's behind. I take him ahead of Coleman. He's behind the other three.
Adam
Oh, my gosh. Dan doesn't know who Elvis is. He sure has heard his music, though.
Dan
I never should have heard my. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I know who Elvis is. I'm not. I mean, I know some stuff. I was the guy who used to eat the peanut butter and bacon sandwiches, by the way. I've never tried, but I would.
Jamie
I just love that. We're 10 minutes into the show. Dave is ruined Adam's bit, and Dan doesn't know who. Crosby. Stills National. But I do.
Dan
I've heard their music. I just don't know the names.
Adam
Yeah, I just. That's just amazing me. They're one of the most famous bands ever.
Dan
Okay, well, I'm. There's a lot of movies and stuff.
Jamie
I don't know. There we go.
Dan
Damn it.
Jamie
Yeah.
Adam
Making it legendary over here. Hey, listen.
Dan
No, I'm sorry.
Adam

So if you want to leave some comments on our show there, please do.
Dan
Me a favor and show me how to find those because I want to read those for beyond the box score during the week and we. I don't know how to find them.
Adam
Yeah, Yes, I will show you.
Dan
Yeah, you know. Okay, thank you.
Jamie
And.
Adam
What else was I going to. Oh, I'll ask you later, Dan. Remind me about Spotify later.
Dan
Okay.
Adam
Okay, so emails, fantasy football, CBS icon. Leave a Spotify comment, Leave an Apple podcast comment. If you're going to leave an Apple podcast comment, it's got to be no Thursday games and try to get it in by Wednesday at the latest because it does take time to show up. Okay, from Matthew, pick one in full ppr. Chase Brown. T. Higgins. Travion Henderson.
Jamie
Chase Brown.
Adam
Go Higgins.
Dan
Higgins. Yeah, I can't. I can't play Chase Brown right now.
Adam
Maybe I'll go Chase Brown.
Jamie
He may have as many catches as.
Dan
These two combined with the Flacco boost.
Jamie
I just.
Dan
Flacco starting already. I don't understand how that's going to work. It's going to have to be such a simplified game plan.
Adam
All right, this is from Garrett. So he has Dak Prescott. Should he drop Bo Nix or Caleb Williams from Michael Carter in a half PPR league? And the only reason I'm really asking this is I want to know who you like better rest of season, Caleb Williams or Bo Nix.
Jamie
Well, he has Dak. That's obviously the biggest part of this. So assuming that this is probably a 10 team league, if Michael Carter's still on waivers, I'm gonna drop Bonix because Caleb's already passed his bye week. And so you just roll with Dak and Caleb. But also, let me rephrase it, check to see who Dak who each is playing on Dax by week and make that decision for you.
Dan
I mean, you could go match up by matchup too for rest of season if you want to, but there's really no matchup where you're going to bench Dak Prescott, so I would rather keep the higher upside guy in Caleb.
Jamie
No, but you just need him for one week though.
Dan
True, true.
Adam
Yeah, well, you never know.
Dan
I mean, you could trade potentially If Caleb really starts to break out.
Adam
All right. From Matthew Troy, Franklin Cooper cup or Jameson Williams.
Jamie
Oops. I would go with cup.
Dan
I'm gonna say Jameson for the upside there, and I do apologize for that sniffle right there. I will be muting. I heard. I've made some. I'm dealing with the sickness. I feel like azer right now. Honestly. It looks not good. I don't like this. How does this happen? This never happens to me. This is a you thing. Yeah.
Adam
It's not fun. It's not fun.
Jamie
Steve's C comment is pretty good.
Dan
What is it? Oh, boy.
Jamie
No, the other one. The other one.
Adam
We can answer this one. He traded McCaffrey for Judkins and Jacori Crosby Merritt. What do you think?
Dan
You think that's a great trade?
Adam
A good trade?
Jamie
Yeah.
Dan
You're getting too solid.
Jamie
That's great.
Dan
I don't like that trade at all.
Jamie
Why?
Dan
I don't. When I have a McCaffrey type on my team, one of the five performers week in, week out, who's dominating fantasy football. I'm not going to trade him for a two for one and think that I'm getting a win.
Jamie
Caffrey and Michael Carter.
Dan
Yes. Over those two. Any day would I rather start McCaffrey and Michael Carter over those two.
Adam
Caffrey's super interesting, right. He's rushing so poorly. He's got. He's on pace for over 130 catches. There hasn't been Kittle all year. There hasn't been Jennings and Pierce. All right. Eventually IU could come back. So the theory that Heath, you know, brought this up as a. As a sell high is that the targets are gonna, you know, decrease. He'll still be super involved, but he's got like, basically everything to himself. And I still think like, he'll. He'll basically make up for that with more touchdowns. I think he's only scored twice this year. But I traded him. I traded him for Kyron and Nico.
Dan
That's. That's a trade I can be on board with.
Jamie
Right?
Dan
We're getting Kyron and Nico.
Adam
Not.
Dan
I mean, like, Merit has a chance to be really good rest of season. I'm okay with that. Judkins, I'm not as sold. He's a great runner.
Jamie
Have Jacori Crosby merit than Judkins rest of the season.
Dan
Yes. Because Jacqueline crossing Merit is on a healthy offense that will score points and creates in the run game. Judkins is on a terrible offense and he's creating on his own. And they're not going to be in scoring position a lot. I think it's going to get a lot worse. Coming up fast for Dylan Gabriel. I don't. I think he's very one of the most overrated assets in fantasy right now. Same reason I wasn't in on him preseason. We'll watch. He'll have a lot of games where he has 80 to 90 to 100 rushing yards and nothing else.
Adam
Well, I don't know, man. Points.
Dan
It's something. It's not great though.
Adam
It looks great.
Dan
Some of those games are going to.
Adam
Be 60 to 70, 20 or more.
Jamie
He's been doing this against two of the best, three of the best run defenses the last three weeks.
Dan
Yeah, but he needs a touchdown.
Adam
We gotta take a break. That's what we need.
Dan
How many are they gonna get? The Browns?
Adam
More of your questions after this.
Dan

First of all, she says, hook them horns. And then she says, would you start Pittman over Garrett Wilson.
Jamie
100%.
Dan
No, I would start Wilson. I know the matchup's worse. I would still start Wilson. I think he's got a great rapport with Fields and I think there's more upside for targets there.
Jamie
Three straight games against Patrick Surtan and the Broncos. Three straight games under 10 PPR points.
Dan
Yep, I get it.
Adam
Yeah. The difference is like he was regularly scoring. He's better this year than he was that those last few years. He's having his best season. But I am gonna avoid it. You know, last night, Thursday night, The Giants shadowed A.J. brown with Paulson Adibo. And I think Adibo did fine. Brown didn't kill them, but he had six for 80. And then you just compare that to.
Jamie
I mean, come on, what are you doing?
Adam
No, what I'm saying is Sir Tan is so good that like a normal quarterback Cornerback can shadow AJ Brown and. No, 6 for 80, whatever. But like Sir Tan is so good that he's just. He's just an eraser. Basically what I was trying to say. He's just different than any other breed. All right, back to the questions here from Travis. Hello, team minus Dan. I am visiting New York City, first timer here. I'm in town for a wedding and luckily there is a Giants game that I will be planning on attending. He sent us yesterday. I am here until Sunday morning. Several weeks ago, Dan mentioned a great late night sandwich place to Go to. I was hoping you could send your recommendations. What was it? What was the late night sandwich place?
Dan
Did he just say minus Dan?
Adam
Yeah, hold on, I'll get to that. There's more. What was your recommendation?
Dan
What's my advice on where to go eat?
Adam
Was it Kat's Deli?
Dan
I'll let him figure it out. Go back and listen.
Adam
I was going to reach out to Dan on LinkedIn, but I noticed he denied my connect request. This is true, considering I haven't literally.
Dan
Clicked on LinkedIn in over three to four years.
Adam
We both attended UW at the same time. I never realized how hurtful Dan could be. I'm sure he will have an explanation as to why this happened, but I'm.
Dan
Not ready to hear it at this point. I'm now concerned that my LinkedIn's been hacked. I'm not even kidding. I'm not dead serious. I have not clicked LinkedIn in over three years. I do not use that platform. And somebody is on there denying requests from people.
Adam
Yeah, I looked at your LinkedIn profile. It says host of Fantasy Football today.
Dan
It does not say that. It does not say that. It does, definitely.
Jamie
I actually it's funny that you bring up LinkedIn. I spoke at a college class this week and the professor said, oh, I'm going to send all the students your LinkedIn. And I like I same thing. Dan just said, I haven't touched LinkedIn in forever. And then they asked me why don't. Why I don't use LinkedIn. And I said, it's just not part of my day to day, but apparently the youth of America does.
Dan
Really? I didn't know anybody. I shouldn't say that. I mean, I just. It's not something that I use. But I don't know what happened. I'm sorry to have that happened. Any UW graduate especially went the same time as me and a giant like this is. And visiting New York so I can give you all my food recommendations. Hit me up on Twitter. I answer people all the time on Twitter.
Adam
There you go. All right. This is from Richard from a tiny town west of Washington dc. I don't know. Ask Dave the Gag Bruner.
Dan
I have a town west of Washington.
Adam
D.C. yeah, a little town.
Jamie
If you saw Dave right now, what would you say to him?
Adam
I'd say, I don't want to have to edit two curse words out. So I'm not gonna say.
Dan
I think, I think I'll go. I'll go back to this Dave thing. I think he, he did it in Good nature. Like, he. He meant well by it. And we had a lot of ammo. We talked before the pot about all sorts of things, but I do. I. I will say, Dave, you're still listening. I do kind of agree with Adam. The bit was better if I didn't know about it, to be honest.
Adam
Not even a bit. If you know about it.
Dan
Yeah.
Adam
All right, so the. The trade that Richard is considering is he would give up Cortland Sutton for Travis ETN in a PPR league. He has Chase Pickens, Quentin Johnston, he's pretty good. Jordan Addison, he has Kyron Swift, Tootin and Manangai. So he needs running back. So would you give up Sutton for etn?
Dan
I guess if you need running backs. Yeah. Yeah, you need running back. So what are you gonna do?
Jamie
And I do.
Dan
I do have faith from what I've seen on film, that Liam Cohen can design a run scheme that's going to be effective all season long. Okay.
Adam
Dan, Please accept my MySpace request.
Dan
You guys remember MySpace or was that my generation, not yours. You never had a MySpace?
Adam
It was. It was mine, but I never. I never dabbled.
Dan
You were too cool for MySpace? Is that what you're trying to say?
Adam
I'm what?
Dan
He kind of looks like Dom.
Adam
I was the MySpace creator. Yeah. All right. Henry says on my mobile app, there are projected points when looking at my team, and then there's the rankings. They don't often agree. Can you talk a bit about the process behind the rankings and the projections, Jamie?
Jamie
The rankings are done by us individually, so myself, Dave Heath, we do our own rankings. The projected points are done by Sportsline, which is our independent statistics site, which is run by Stephen O and his team. You probably see him on some things on our site if you. If you find it, certainly if you go on Sportsline. So the projected points are. Are determined by an algorithm, and our rankings are determined by us individually. And then you see the collective rankings, if you're looking at that separately.
Adam
Yeah. So we get that question a lot. Projections are just. Are not. Dave, Jamie, and Heath, even though he does his own projections, the projections you see are from Sportsline. And Dan, do you know what Napster is?
Dan
Adam still uses LimeWire to pirate. Say, I had some good Sam Fender ones that I was going to get you with, but I can't now because you know the bit. Do I know what Napster is? Yeah. No, I was more of a Limewire guy.
Adam
Okay.
Dan
All right. You know what Limewire is, Adam?
Adam
Yeah. Yeah.
Dan
Okay.
Adam
DK Metcalf or Tucker Kraft?
Jamie
I go Craft. Bengals are so bad against tight ends.
Dan
The matchup says Craft, but I feel like there's a more guaranteed. I'm gonna go Metcalf. I feel like there's a better chance for targets with Metcalf.
Adam
All right, this is from Gag. I would also go Metcalf for what it's worth.
Dan
Full ppr.
Adam
Three Flex start. Two of four, Star. Two of these four. Travis Hunter, David Montgomery, Zach Charbonnet, Josh Downs, full ppr.
Jamie
I don't even know how this is a decision like Montgomery and Charbonnet are on a different level right now than Hunter and Downs even.
Dan
I mean.
Adam
Yeah, I. I think, yeah, Charbonnet, like, obviously could score, but if he doesn't score, he doesn't really catch the ball. So Downs, I mean, I feel like Downs is a safer Bet to get nine to 10 points.
Jamie
Has had two games so far this season with six catches and, yeah, three games with nothing.
Adam
Right.
Dan
Montgomery's the lock here.
Jamie
Right. I would just take my chances with Sharpen.
Dan
I mean, actually, I don't even know if Montgomery's a lot.
Jamie
Hunter's droppable.
Adam
Charbonnet has three catches all year.
Dan
Yeah, they have.
Adam
This is the last two games.
Dan
An interesting question because Hunter and Downs are just not really involved a lot. I mean, on Hunter's front, it's very interesting.
Jamie
I've.
Dan
I don't. There's been speculation that he just hasn't picked up the playbook fully yet on offense. They finally got him a little involved, but I still feel like it's not the involvement we're looking for. At least consistent on a week to week basis.
Jamie
The only. The only thing that could give Hunter some hope, it's twofold, is they just traded for a cornerback. So maybe the secondary play gets better and they don't use him there as much. And Britain Strange is out, so there could be a difference in how they operate their offense. If you want to take a shot on that. For me, I would just take the guys that have been producing consistently. Montgomery, like Dan said, is easy. I think Charbonnet is the other one I would use.
Adam
Okay, next question is from Wesley. Dear. Bert, Ernie, Zoe and Abby.
Jamie
No chance. Dan knows this.
Dan
Bert, Ernie. Is that just. What was that PBS show? That PBS show?
Jamie
Yeah.
Adam
What's the name of it? Yeah, very good.
Jamie
And the other two.
Dan
And then Zoe and Abby are not from Sesame Street. Okay.
Adam
They are.
Jamie
They are.
Adam
Why.
Jamie
Why do you interrupt? Let him go down the.
Dan
He should have let me. I was never getting there.
Adam
Set him up. That was Diabolical. All right. All right. So sit one from this list. Jameson Williams, Travion Henderson, Kamani Vidal, Kendrick Bourne.
Dan
Just laughing at Rosie's comment, Tom.
Adam
Again, sit one from the following list. Jameson Williams, Henderson, Kamani Beidel, Kendrick Bourne.
Jamie
I'm gonna say Jameson. I just have no faith right now.
Dan
I'll sit by Dell. Johnny Airport says according to Dance Bridge, the Giants have two wins and a Tetris block.
Jamie
That's great.
Adam
I couldn't do it today.
Jamie
I tried to get two and four.
Dan
I don't know how to do it with the amount I need to order more magnets. That's all I can say.
Adam
Okay. And let's see what else we got from Ryan. Would you trade either Darren Waller or Tucker Kraft for Jakori Crosky?
Jamie
Merit in a heartbeat.
Adam
Yeah.
Jamie
Waller for sure.
Adam
Who do you like better? Rest of season, Craft or Waller?
Dan
Craft.
Jamie
Craft.
Adam
All right, this is from Kelly. Yeah, two questions from Kelly. I think I'm just gonna read one of them. Give me in half ppr. I need a flex and a running back. It's a Guillotine League. Zay Flowers, RJ Harvey, Jalen Warren.
Jamie
I would go with flowers. I mean, even.
Adam
And. And a running back.
Jamie
Warren.
Dan
Okay. Is Warren. Yeah, is Warren a locked up? I haven't checked the practice reports recently.
Jamie
He's been practicing for.
Dan
Yeah, it's full practice. Okay. So flowers and more and for sure.
Jamie
Chuba Hubbard is officially out.
Dan
Flowers can get that garbage. Time work, too.
Jamie
And then Coker is listed as questionable.
Adam
Crosby, Stills the Dash. They play for the Penguins, right? That's good.
Dan
I mean, they do, don't they?
Adam
Sydney Crosby. That's good. That's good. Thank you. We got some good comments today. What was the other one that you wear in your giant sweatshirt at your LinkedIn profile?
Dan
Yeah, that big giant such. I stand by that. I got some compliments on it. I won't bring it back on the show, though. I got too much hate.
Adam
Okay, question from.
Jamie
I thought he loved it. You got so many comments about how many people.
Dan
Yeah, on. On the. On the Giants podcast.
Adam
Question. I would need you to clarify something. So you wore it on beyond the Box Score on Wednesday?
Dan
Yeah.
Adam
You wore it on the Mailbag on Friday.
Dan
Sure.
Adam
When do you record Big Blue Banter?
Dan
The same day. Wednesday is when I recorded that.
Adam
Okay.
Dan
So I don't. Personally, I think you can wear a hoodie whenever you want, all the time around your house. I don't. I hate this. Like, honestly, Adam, I think in a lot of ways you're very Much. Let me think of the right word for this and the right way to phrase this. You're very smug and condescending when it comes to what people can wear, when they can wear it, and how often they can wear it.
Adam
Give me another example.
Dan
This is the one example I have. No, you've done this in the past with other stuff. You've done this with other stuff. Oh, when? Well, this one I'm not even gonna bring back up because it makes me look bad, but point being, I can. I can wear a hoodie whenever the heck I want around the house. I have a hoodie over there. Like, I'll throw it on. I'll take it off. I'll throw it on. It's not getting dirty. It's fine.
Adam
I agree. Just don't wear it on the air. You got to wear different stuff. You can't repeat. You can't wear the same outfit.
Dan
If I record two shows in the same day, one for one podcast, one for another, I am perfectly fine. And if it goes Wednesday to Friday, I don't care about that.
Adam
E. I care about that. You. Wednesday, Wednesday. That's fine.
Dan
What do you care about that? What's the difference? Who are you trying to impress? Like, it's not that, like, I. We are trying to impress, but like.
Adam
Rosie. Rosie. Johnny Airport. We're trying to impress.
Dan
We are trying to. We should be looking really good.
Adam
Like, what are we doing?
Dan
Like, stop. Stop being so. You're judging me. I feel like you're judging me.
Adam
I was just watching. You've seen Ted Lasso.
Dan
Yeah, but I fell off. I've seen all the episodes. I don't think it's that good toward the end. And maybe the first two seasons are good. And then it's like darts.
Adam
The dart scene he's talking about.
Dan
I don't remember stuff.
Adam
Well, curious, judgmental. It's just a great, great scene.
Dan
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's what I'm saying. Be curious and don't judgmental. If I like wearing a hoodie around the house often, I'll wear a hoodie around the house.
Adam
I'm very curious about many of the things you do. I. I promise. All right.
Dan
You're not alone. A very weird person.
Adam
Trayvon Henderson or Deandre Swift and half ppr.
Jamie
Swift.
Dan
Yes, Swift. How can we trust Travion right now?
Adam
And pick two in full ppr. Sutton, Garrett Wilson, Travion Henderson, Matthew Golden, Sutton and Wilson.
Dan
Yeah.
Jamie
Yeah.
Dan
But I can't do Henderson or Swift there.
Adam
Let's do it. The fantasy cops are here, ladies and gentlemen, Send your emails to fantasy footballbsi.com and put fantasy cops in the subject line. This one is from Keaton. Keaton has been playing in the same group for close to 10 years. By the way, Dan, do you know Michael Keaton? Can you name one Michael Keaton movie?
Jamie
Batman?
Dan
Oh, not always wrong when it comes to this type of stuff.
Adam
As the commission, I just noticed this week that a manager has had Rashi Rice in his IR spot since week one. We have a group Facebook, wrote fb. It's either Facebook or fullback. We have a group Facebook where I made a post. Suspended players should never go on iron. I also texted the manager and told him if it wasn't corrected by Sunday, I would drop Rasheed Rice from his team.
Dan
Okay.
Adam
He took the Facebook post as me quote, calling him out, calling him a cheater, coming at him with unspoken rules, end quote, claiming the site led him so he thought it was within the rules. Again, we've played together for nearly 10 years and something like this has never flown. Can you just share some thoughts? So I can assure him that people with way more knowledge and valued opinions than mine or his would agree that with this and his reaction is bogus.
Jamie
So within the rules, it does not say or does say.
Dan
Yeah, when did he make the post that.
Adam
That you can't do week five or something like that? You know, whenever he noticed it.
Dan
Oh, yeah, no, that's. See, that's bad. That's on the commissioner.
Jamie
So if the. If the score. If the transaction rules allow him to do it and there's nothing in the bylaws or the rules that say he can't do it, unfortunately, you cannot change anything. You can try and put it to a vote to make it moving forward, but you can't penalize him for doing this.
Dan
I agree with Jamie. I mean, I didn't want to say that on this podcast, but it's true. When he's right, he's right. And I have to just say it and has nothing to do with it. First of all, Adam, if he gets there, let me just make something clear to the listeners. If we're asked to start. Sick question. Jamie just gets on it first. But I agree with his answer. I'm not just going to disagree for the sake of disagreeing. Now back to the show and back to this fantasy cops. I hate to say it as commish, but you just made the mistake of not making this rule early enough before the season. And I'll say this. I've dealt with a lot of this, these types of situations. As commissioner of my home league, we got to the point, Adam and Jamie where we just said whatever the site allows, go with that. Because I don't. It's too annoying to have to police and micromanage things on a week to week basis looking at people. Are they doing it right? Just better to let the site do. Do it? Unfortunately, this site is allowing that to happen, but U.S. commission needed to make that clear before the season.
Jamie
Well, this is the same thing that happened with Adam and me and he decided to change it.
Dan
Just cut the player from your team. Yeah. Yep. Look at it. That is exactly what happened.
Adam
You weren't putting Rasheed Rice on ir.
Jamie
No, I did something that the league allowed me to do. Right, and then you decided to police it after the fact and then you.
Dan
Decided to cut a player without even telling anyone, just cutting him. Yeah, I mean, look, it's new Adam. He did say a few months ago it's going to be new Adam as commission, we have to respect what he's doing now. He's a hard, he's a hard on the rules commissioner. He just makes his own rules and just does what he wants.
Adam
Misrepresented. Jamie obviously knew what he was doing was wrong. By the way, one of, one of the people on this show that this, you know, the three of us, plus I'll throw Jacob in there. Heath, Dave, one of the people I found did something interesting. Now, I don't know how you, how you think about this, Right. So Tajay Spears last week comes off ir.
Jamie
Okay.
Adam
When? Saturday, something like that. Friday. Saturday. This person left him in an IR spot. Did not take him out. I think if you don't make any changes to your lineup.
Dan
Yeah, you can do it.
Adam
Fine. Was that cheating? No, because it was not. I did the opposite. I had Spears in a lot of leagues. I activated him and I dropped him.
Dan
Yeah, well, this is why you have to. Either it's not cheating unless it's in the rules. And this is why we just said, you know what? Just whatever the site allows. That's it. Because nobody wants to police this week to week. Nobody has time for this.
Jamie
So I'll give you. I mean, I, I only know what I did as commissioner. I know it wasn't me. So you can't be calling me out that. No, I set all of my IR spots as commissioner that once player comes off IR, your lineup is illegal if they're left in an Irish spot. So to your point, there's obviously league one that I commissioned because that's exactly what the rule does.
Adam
But I think it's. I think if you have a legal lineup with Tasha Spears in your IR spot and then he comes off and you never touch your lineup, I think it's okay. Right.
Jamie
The way that the league does it, and this is just a byproduct of the. Of the league, is that unless you. You can leave it as is until you make a lineup change, it will not allow you to make a line of change. A lot of now you make an ad drop, so you are basically frozen, but you could still start your. Your team. I know you're talking about. I saw they dropped Tiese yesterday.
Adam
No, you don't know who I'm talking about because it was in this person's FFT Open division. I had to go in there to do something as a commissioner, and I.
Jamie
Noticed, oh, I saw somebody drop Taije Spears from our show yesterday, so I assume that's it.
Adam
Would you be okay with that, though? Would you be okay with someone leaving Spears and IR not changing their lineup and just keeping them there for the week?
Jamie
Yes. I can't police that. I mean, that's nobody. That's what the league allows you to do.
Dan
Yeah. All right.
Adam
By the way, I'm sorry, Keaton. I know you wrote the fantasy cops, like, ready to own the guy in your league, but we totally disagreed with you. We're gonna take a quick break. We have one more Fantasy cops, ironically.
Jamie
That you did, though.
Adam
Four of your questions.
Jamie

Dan
Yeah, this is a great point in the Comments by Mike McKenna. The first activity before any draft is look at the rule settings in last year's statos. You should also bring up last year's rules to see if any things are changed. Yeah, you got to do this before the season. That's when you can do stuff like this.
Adam
There are things that come. I mean, look, that's obviously well said and yes you should try. There are things that come up that you don't anticipate that. You never would have thought about putting in the rules.
Dan
And I know it happens every year, but that's part of fantasy.
Adam
You know what else is part of fantasy? The Fantasy Cops. Here we go. It's from Kyle. He says, dear Eddie, Jamal, Ahmad, and Ryan. Oh, I got it.
Dan
Eddie, Jamal, Ahmad and Ryan.
Adam
Who's Ryan? These are packers running backs.
Dan
Yeah.
Adam
Eddie Lacey, Jamal Williams. Oh, wait, no, it was a. No, no. I don't know. It was.
Dan
Yeah. Mod I know is a mod. Bradshaw. Can't be him. Obviously.
Adam
I don't know who this is, Jamal. Well, anyway, back to the Fantasy Cops. My league's waivers run on Wednesday night.
Jamie
And then Mr. Rapinski got Brian Grant.
Adam
Yeah, but who's a mod?
Jamie
It's probably a mod. They just got it wrong.
Adam
Okay, well, don't get it wrong next time. You could call it in the Fantasy Cops and get the greeting wrong.
Dan
Yeah, that's true.
Jamie
You gotta.
Dan
If you're going to Mon Green, you have to say the name, right? That's right.
Jamie
Being a bad commissioner. Go ahead.
Adam
I wouldn't know. My league waivers run on Wednesday night, and free age free agency opens on Thursday.
Dan
Commissions under a lot of watch.
Jamie
I actually got a text.
Dan
At best, you've done, at best, a lukewarm job as commissioner of that league.
Jamie
I. I got a text last night, which was jarring when I read it.
Dan
And what was it?
Jamie
Realized that it was a mistake. What happened? Nobody texted me. Adam just cheated in one of our leagues.
Dan
Oh, he did it again.
Jamie
What? What did he do?
Dan
What happened?
Jamie
It was. You picked up somebody in the league. I'm not gonna say which league, because you're gonna figure out what it was. You picked up somebody in the league and somebody said, I tried to pick up that player and it was locked, and then realized, oh, I meant I picked. I. I realized I tried to pick up a different player that was locked. So Adam did nothing wrong. When I saw it, I was like, adam's a cheater.
Dan
Wow.
Adam
You could tell Jack saw it.
Dan
You weren't surprised.
Adam
You could tell Jack to. To cram.
Jamie
It was not Jack.
Adam
Okay, so, Jack, I'm sorry for saying that.
Jamie
Yeah, yeah.
Dan
You're just taking a further hole for yourself.
Adam
All right, I'm gonna read this Fantasy Cops. Now, My league's waivers run on Wednesday night, and free agency opens on Thursday at noon, manually, by the commissioner. Okay, so that noon, the commissioner makes it free. Opens free agency. The commissioner was late opening free agency, and at noon, a league mate texts the commissioner saying, Get Haskins cut. Gino. At 12:01pm I text the commissioner, hey commission, I am trying to pick up Haskins but it seems that free agent isn't available. Why is that? Thinking there was a delay, I refreshed numerous times waiting for the available players to become free agents. Free agency then opened at 12:07pm and I picked up Haskins. Hours later the commissioner and the other league mate text me saying that the league mate deserves Haskins because his text came in first. No, nowhere in any bylaws does it say that texts are worthy of an actual transaction. So my question is, does the earlier text message hold more weight than actually acquiring the player once free agency opened, which opens seven minutes late. All of this for Hassan Haskins 2025 fantasy football summed up pretty well right there.
Jamie
So in I'll give you two things related to this. First off what I would have done is if I was late doing this policy that is run, I would have said hey guys, sorry I'm late. Hey everybody, sorry I'm late for opening waivers. Waivers will open at 12:10. Be ready to make your moves. So gaming or 12:15, give everybody notice that hey, I, I effed up and I need to give you guys time to sit in front of your app, computer, whatever the case may be and make those moves. I play in a fantasy basketball league with other analysts. It's a 30 team league. It's insane. And so anytime like random players. So this happened, this has happened from time to time throughout the years, like a player signs from China or whatever, you know, somebody that's coming from out of the NBA and out of the NBA pool, they've just established a policy of whoever emails the league first gets that player because not in the system. And so that's kind of been allowed. It's, it's unfair for somebody like me who doesn't follow basketball like that anymore. So I'll never, you know that league sounds like. And really they never matter. But in you get the point like there's a, there's a system in place of if you're going to notify the commissioner, you have to notify the league. You can't just text the commissioner personally and say hey, I get that player. True, right. If that's not allowed. So what I would have done is just say hey, I screwed up. Instead of 12 o', clock, I know it's 12 7, it's going to be 1230 today, everybody be ready. Right.
Adam
That didn't happen. So now what do we do with supposed to open at noon. Guy sends a text message at noon asking for it. Then a guy sends a different guy sends a text message at 1201 wanting Haskins. And then that second text message, the 1201 guy gets him at 12:07. Then commissioner says, now this other guy texted first at noon. I'm giving it to him.
Jamie
I mean, I. I guess if you're. If you're going to allow that, then it just has to be the policy moving forward of. Of notifying the commissioner. I mean, if. If there is some sort of documentation that shows the time and the. And the. The standpoint.
Dan
This is insane. I'm with Nathan Thompson. Manual waivers is crazy. He says, why even set yourself up?
Adam
You know what?
Jamie
I gotta.
Adam
I gotta be. I got a bone to pick here. Okay, I understand that you don't like the way this is done, but it's not about critiquing their league. It's about solving their problem.
Dan
Not always. Sometimes critiquing their league is solving their problems. Might help them for the future. It may help them for the future.
Adam
Some person breaks into your house, the cops don't say, well, you know what you should have done? We're not going to arrest the guy. We're just.
Dan
They probably do say that. And they probably say, next time you'd be more careful. You better have a security system.
Jamie
All right, here's. Here's what. Here's what I would do. I would put Haskins back in the player pool. And if this is the way that this league is run, that at 12 o', clock, it's a. It's just a mad dash to whoever gets first. So do it for Saturday. Saturday, he's at 12 o'. Clock. It opens up. Whoever gets there first gets him.
Adam
Yeah, I like that. Thank you, Jamie.
Dan
Yeah. What a great league. Just mad dash the Free Angels.
Adam
Well, that's why. That's why I have. You probably don't even know the controversy going on in the Dynasty League in the Big Burger, do you?
Dan
There's another one going on.
Adam
Dude, what is going on with you?
Jamie
Dude?
Dan
Can you commission league?
Adam
Oh, this is a serious question. So we have a little bit of a split in the league. Thomas got a little upset last week. He was trying to pick someone up on Thursday.
Jamie
Okay.
Adam
And realized he couldn't because that player was playing on Thursday. And I have it so that fab runs every night. Okay, Sunday. The only time you can just add somebody is Sunday and I guess Monday. If it's a player playing Monday. I prefer it that way because I don't like a scenario where a player gets hurt in practice or something like that. And then there's a. It happened last week. It happened with Rico Dow, with Michael Carter. We got these news updates, whatever. And I was rushing to all my leagues to pick these guys up before someone else. I don't like that. I like fab running every night. I do realize though that it can put you in a bind if you need someone on Thursday or have someone on Thursday and want to drop them but your lineup's basically locked in that. I mean you could drop them but you. But you'd have an illegal lineup for a day which whatever. But right. So it puts people in a little bit of a buy. But that is typically how I run my leagues. I don't have open free agency until Sunday. So I have a poll up right now. If people want to change it, I'll let them change it. I said majority rules will change it next week. But I am actually interested in people's perspectives on that. You know, what do you like better? You have to be more prepared if, if you have the the fab system where it runs every night, you just you have to get ahead of the game and you have to run waivers on Tuesday night. You cannot do it for the first time on Wednesday night. So you're not have people put in, you know their bids and then not get them and be stuck for a Thursday night situation, whatever.
Dan
So definitely on that front the problem the this has been a big topic in my home league and controversy debate on both sides. The problem with this version, while it is much fairer for people who are not just like on their phones with injury news happens in our in the league we play in. If you do this form of waivers then it's not open free agency on Sundays and that to me is unacceptable to not have it be open free and see on a Sunday morning when anything could happen late scratch is your you can get both of the best of both worlds here.
Adam
Yeah, yeah. Absolutely.
Dan
It's a very and I like this.
Adam
Version better as long as you're setting on cbs.
Dan
One quick comment. By the way, just because you mention the Baked Burger League. One quick comment. My team is 5. 0 in the Baked Burger League with 100 more points in the second place team. Thank you.
Jamie
I love when you do this because last week you did this. You started you you started a league with Mac A2QB Super Flex.
Dan
No, I did not want this to be brought up.
Jamie
You started a Superflex league where I.
Dan
Thought he would do this and no one was going to bring this up. Mute him. Mute him. Mute him. Mute him. Mute him. Mute him, please.
Adam
Mute him. All right, go ahead.
Jamie
You lost to me in one league. I think you lost another league. I saw, too. So I love when you do this because the karma just comes back to you over and over again.
Adam
Yeah, and. And Jamie, who. Who's he playing in the big burger league this week?
Jamie
You.
Adam
Me. Great.
Dan
That's a free win. Look at your crap team. What are you, one in five? As usual, One in four. This is the easiest win I could have.
Adam
Yeah, well, I got Wandale, so we're off to a good start.
Dan
Oh, you got Wanda. I could care less. You're still 32 underdog after having Wandell's breakout. Think about it. Think about how bad your team is to have to have that. How did you guys let me draft this team in a super flex league, In a dynasty league? Josh Allen.
Adam
Let's get to our Apple podcast questions here. This is from Noah. Grade the trade, four point per passing touchdown league, full ppr. I traded Breeze Hall, Xavier Worthy, T. Higgins, and Dak Prescott. All right, let's go over this again. Breeze Hall, Xavier Worthy, T. Higgins, Dak Prescott. That's one side. He gets Drake, May, Saquon Barkley, Trey Benson, Michael Carter, and RJ Harvey. All right, so hold on. I'll unmute you. I'll unmute you. Hi, Dan.
Dan
I need you to read that one more time. Yeah, if we don't have it up on the screen, it's just hard.
Adam
All right, so he's going from Dak to Drake, May from Breeze hall to Saquon Barkley. So Dak and so May and Saquon. He's getting and giving up Dak and Breece Hall. Okay, that's fine, right? Probably good, but he's also giving up Worthy and T. Higgins, and he's getting Trey Benson, Michael Carter, and RJ Harvey.
Jamie
This is redraft.
Adam
Yeah.
Dan
I'm out on this.
Adam
Yeah, I don't think I like it that much.
Dan
I mean, there's a chance. There's a chance things. What'd you say, Jamie? You like it?
Jamie
No. It feels like giving up too much.
Dan
Yeah, I mean, the idea of it is like, look, we're getting a ma. We're hoping to get an upgrade to the best player in the trade being Barkley. But is Barkley the best player in the trade at this point? Watching the Eagles offensive line, I'm not so sure of that.
Adam
Can you believe they stopped running the ball last night? They run for 30, they stopped running the ball.
Dan
They tried to run the ball in the second half on that one possession and it was stop, stop. It was third and long for the.
Adam
The first two plays of the game. They gashed the Giant and then they.
Dan
Didn'T run and that was basically it. And then they bring the average under two yards per carry. The Eagles can't run the football. They're not blocking it up like they were last year.
Jamie
And Barkley's not a.
Dan
Not the same kind of runner if he doesn't have space in front of him. During his time with the Giants, he was not good when he had bad yards created with his off by his offensive line. Last year, Eagles were number one in yards graded. He was the best player in fantasy football and the NFL maybe some would say this year they're in the 20s and yards created and he's averaging 3.2 yards per carry or whatever it is.
Adam
All right, this is from Ray or Ray. Um. Trade Ashton Genti and a Mecca Abuka for Bijan Robinson and Stefan Diggs.
Dan
Yes. Couldn't accept that any faster.
Adam
Or would you rather trade Genti and Abuka for Bucky Irving and Rasheed Rice?
Dan
Heck no. Get Bijan Robinson the best player in fantasy football. Don't even think twice.
Adam
All right, but listen, I mean, Chris Godwin's out now.
Dan
Abuka is going to be awesome, but Bijan is the best player in fantasy.
Adam
We got this. Look at our producer. Josh is getting these on the screen. Good job. All right, I'm going to the one that says grade the trade. Hampton next. So this is from Hindsight. I traded away Hampton, Keenan Allen and Rashad white in a 12 team PPR league. Traded away Hampton, Keenan Allen and Rashad White for Romo Dunze and Ramandre Stevenson. Interesting.
Dan
This is interesting.
Jamie
Hampton, Allen and White. So one guy was out for another three weeks, four weeks. One guy who's a rental essentially, and Rashad White.
Dan
Right.
Jamie
And you're getting a Dunes A. Yeah.
Dan
I think I got to do it, right?
Adam
Well, no, I don't think so. Let me tell you why. Because while Hampton. While Bucky is out, I don't know how long Bucky's out, but Rashad White is as valuable as a Dunes A. Let's just say, right? And then.
Dan
I don't know about that. Dunes has been basically a wide receiver.
Adam
One Sean White while Bucky's out. I mean they're both must starts.
Jamie
Yeah, I think.
Adam
I think Hampton's back at four or three weeks.
Jamie
Hampton's got four weeks from four weeks. Four weeks, including this week. So there is a chance that White gets you through Hampton's absence based on the reports on Bucky that he's week to week. So let's just say it's this weekend, another week that Bucky's out. Rashad White's basically a poor man's version of both Hampton and Bucky. So number two, running back, at worst, unless your receiving core is absolutely dreadful, I would rather just take the slight downgrade from Odunze to Keenan Allen. Keep the running backs.
Adam
Yeah. All right. Keenan Allen's not nothing here either. And the only advantage that you get with Odunze, that you don't get with the other guys, is that Odunze's already had his buy. But I still think we're gonna say no. All right, next up from the Scranton Strangler. That's a very good reference.
Dan
At the office.
Jamie
Yeah.
Adam
Someone dropped Sam Darnold in a super flex league.
Dan
Parks and Recreation is a better show in the office, Adam.
Adam
Yeah, we've heard.
Dan
Adam, do you agree?
Adam
No, I don't.
Dan
Well, then you're breaking the rules of what you were supposed to be doing.
Adam
The bed is off.
Dan
Who said the bed was off?
Adam
Dave. He ruined everything. All right, all right. You know how much I would have really had to agree with that take? I would. That would have hurt me. It would have stopped.
Dan
Okay.
Adam
Herbert Nixon Fields are my quarterback. Should I drop any of them for.
Jamie
Sam Darnold, Herbert Nix and Fields?
Adam
He also includes. This is important that Herbert and Nicks have the same bye week.
Jamie
I mean, look, Fields, this week is going to be a tough go for him because Denver's great against running quarterbacks and they're going to take away Garrett Wilson. So it's going to be tough for him. But in the, in the case of first off, how are you in a super flex? Oh, someone dropped Santa.
Dan
How.
Jamie
Who's dropping?
Dan
This is an insane super flex league. Yeah, I don't, I don't really understand.
Jamie
Team league where he's being dropped. I think I would just have almost like you're starting Herbert and Nicks this week. I like them both better than Darnold to begin with.
Adam
Okay.
Dan
I don't know. I, I, it's, I wouldn't like, I wouldn't drop any of them. It's a super flex league.
Adam
Okay, well, this is from Last one here is from Hayden. Hayden says that my hatred for the new kickoff setup is potentially my worst take of all time.
Jamie
Why?
Dan
Why is it? I think it's a good Take.
Adam
And he also was saying that the reason why kickers are so dangerous this year is that they changed the. The K ball. I actually read an article. I actually read an article about that on ESPN.com kind of refuting that one of the special teams coaches that they interviewed said as much ado about nothing.
Jamie
Okay.
Adam
I guess the kickoff thing is growing on me a little bit, but it's just so frustrating to have these teams start well. Yeah, I mean, the kickoffs, Kickoffs camp kickoffs can be recited. Exciting.
Dan
But I think the problem for me with it is that it's coinciding with this big jump we've seen in the quality of kickers in the NFL. So I just don't like when these games end where it's like, there's not much time left on the clock, but somebody makes a bad kickoff, and now they're at the 40 and they just need one or two first downs and they lose. And, like, it just doesn't make sense to me.
Jamie
I have two things. First off, I love how people thought I was serious with the Derek Henry take yesterday, that he should sit. The YouTube comments were funny. Like, obviously you don't. Derek Henry's not sitting. I did hear this from somebody that I thought was. Was interesting. Now I hope it doesn't happen because it's like Greg Williams level terrible, but someone said to me that they would take the kicker out, tell their team to take the kicker out immediately to start a game. So first touchdown, first field goal attempt. Like, look what it did to the Colts. Now, granted, didn't matter.
Adam
Oh, two games, Giants. It's a huge deal. Absolutely. I don't like touchbacks. People are saying. I like. I. I don't like touchbacks at all. I just. The end of game stuff where you get the ball at such good field position, it's a little maddening. It's almost.
Dan
There's a couple bad takes of mine that we can just air out there. One, I think the NFL should allow an emergency kicker, like they allow emergency quarterback, because I think it's stupid.
Jamie
Yep.
Dan
And here's another bad one. I'm really. Adam, this one's for you, Adam. I'm getting sick and tired. Not sick and tired, but I don't want to see Cam scatter Boo do backflips after he scores touchdowns. Let me explain why I live through the David Wilson error, and I don't know if the spinal stenosis was because of that, but the guy's just doing backflip after backflip. And maybe if it's not even bad on your spine to do a backflip on that MetLife turf. It's bad in the sense of, like, if you land wrong on a backflip, you're injuring your ankle or worse.
Adam
For what?
Dan
For what? So I just. I'm out on the cam scatter boost celebrating backflips.
Jamie
I just.
Dan
I don't want him to do it anymore.
Jamie
I think it was that NFL memes handle, you know, it's just a lot of funny stuff. Showed one of his backflips and he paused and he. They said, scatter boo. Just checking to make sure his ACLs and Achilles are intact after landing on the turf at MetLife.
Dan
Right. Like, I don't need him landing on the turf after a backflip wrong. And now he's injured and it's like, well, I guess we got cool backflip celebrations out of it. It's just not. It's not worth it.
Adam
The Giants, the turf that they have newer turf in the last couple years or something is actually safer. They haven't had a lot of the old. A lot of the injuries that people cite are from before they put different Turpin turf in. What do you think about this, by the way? This came in my inbox. See if I can add this. Networking. There we go.
Dan
I can't see that.
Adam
Yeah, I'll try to zoom in. It's a spirit of Halloween. I couldn't zoom in, actually. Can you see that? Spirit of Halloween. Fantasy football analyst cannot see it. It says never wrong attitude, ability to delete, bad takes. Sleeper running back that everyone knows. 20 discount to Patreon. Lack of defendable hot tape. Does not include humility or reasoning.
Dan
Yeah.
Adam
Thank you for sending that to me. Whoever sent that, I appreciate it. So you know who sent it? You deserve a little credit. That was Chandler. All right, to your questions to end the show.
Jamie
Any more funny?
Adam
Yeah, See, I give up. Breeze Hall, Trey McBride. Oh, my gosh. I'm not reading this whole thing. You guys can just answer it.
Jamie
It's great. Great audio.
Dan
This is insane.
Jamie
Trey McBride, Travis Etn, Tony Pollard, Kenneth Walker in a 2026 third round pick. Get Bijan Colson, Loveland Devonte Adams, T. Higgins in the 2027 second round pick. So you're giving up better player. I mean, you're basically giving, selling.
Adam
Yeah, yeah, I like this deal.
Dan
I don't even know if this is dynasty. This could be keeper. When he's saying third round picks.
Jamie
No, you're giving up. It's of course a Dynasty.
Adam
This is a great trade.
Dan
I'm getting Bijan and Loveland Higgins. Yeah, I gotta do this. Like Bijan's worth, like almost the entire package. You're giving up.
Adam
Stop muting Dan. Potentially missing out on some great danisms sometimes.
Dan
I deserve to be muted, honestly. I know that. I'm well aware of it.
Adam
Romeo Dobbs or then again Adam deserves.
Dan
To be muted at times and no one ever can do that. That's the problem. He has all the power.
Jamie
Heath can.
Adam
Heath can be good.
Jamie
I would. I would go born if Jennings place if I'm sorry, Jenny's out born regardless.
Adam
Justin Jefferson for Quinshon Judkins and Michael Pittman In a 14 team league I'm one in four and I need a win.
Dan
I guess if you're struggling, fine, but I. I don't think this is good long term.
Adam
Would you start? This is addressed directly to Dan Cortland, Sutton or Keenan Allen in PPR sudden. Yeah, I. By the way, I know some people have asked about Quinn, Quentin Johnston. He's been limited. Yeah, I assume he's fine. I haven't heard anything about him being in jeopardy. Missing the game. DJ Moore or Kendrick Bourne? If Jennings plays, I'll still go Born same.
Dan
I'm high on born this week.
Adam
I'm sure we all kind of feel like we don't want to miss out on a big Jameson Williams game because it could come at any moment, right? Yeah. That's got to be on your mind. I sort of feel the same way about DJ Moore. I mean he's been a great player in this league for a long time. They just have to give him more tour. He gets five targets pretty much every week. But I. I don't see why. I don't love his role. He's been more of a downfall. Actually that's not true. Week one he was a big high adot guy. Now he's back to being a short area guy. I don't know. I still have a little bit of dj. More fomo.
Dan
I'm out. I mean it's not that I'm out on, I just don't have the fomo.
Adam
All right, let's really have James.
Jamie
My big burger team, by the way, fantastic. When it has Jameson Williams, DJ Moore and Chris Godwin. It's just unbelievable.
Adam
Stefan Diggs, Romeo Dobbs, Javante Williams, Enrico Dowdle. Start two digs for sure for me.
Dan
I'll start that full PPR running backs for me. Oh, Javante Williams. I'll never bench Devonte.
Adam
So I think you're I think you were too hasty to say Diggs there. I think you need to think because you go dowdle.
Dan
You're saying, yeah, I love what I saw from Diggs on tape last week. I watched that one for beyond the box, but I'm gonna stick with Diggs and Javante in full PPR.
Jamie
Yeah, I'm going dattle. I love 203 rushing yards.
Adam
Rob Thomas is here and he says, how are you feeling about our trade last.
Dan
What was the trade?
Adam
So that was. I gave up Genti and Jamar Chase, obviously before the Flacco trade.
Jamie
Okay.
Adam
For Devonte Adams, Josh Jacobs and Blake Corum. And I have Kyron, but I actually dropped Quorum.
Dan
So Javante. I mean, Dante Adams and Josh Jacobs and you gave up Chase and Genti.
Adam
Yeah.
Jamie
If your theory is don't give up the best player, you have to hate this. Right.
Adam
I don't know.
Dan
Who's the best player? Chase?
Adam
I don't know. I don't.
Dan
Right. I. I think Jacobs might be the best player there.
Jamie
I.
Adam
It could be any of the four. Honestly, I think it's a really cool trade. I like Chase. I like better now than I did.
Dan
I know Adams is really good. Just the injuries and the, like the end of season. I. I think I kind of like that trade for you, honestly.
Adam
Thanks.
Dan
It's a buy high trade. Sell low. Buy high. I mean, you're selling low and buying high, which usually people don't like. But I. I'm not always out on sell low, buy eyes. I did one earlier this year for Jovante Williams and I'm so happy I did it and traded for Javante Williams.
Adam
Would you trade Zach Charbonnet for Chase Brown in ppr?
Jamie
Of course.
Dan
Is that. Of course.
Adam
Yeah. What if Walker gets hurt?
Jamie
Oh, I mean, sure. What if. But.
Dan
But also, like, are you just expecting Flacco to really take the. I. I assume that's because you expect to jump with Flacco, Jamie. Is that what you're saying?
Jamie
I'm expecting an improvement with Flaco. I know Flacco will throw him the ball. I mean, look, they've also had some really tough matchups lately. It's not like they've been an easy schedule. I know the schedule doesn't get that much easier, but still, could you argue.
Adam
I'm sorry. If you had Javante Will. It's some combination of Javante Williams, Corey Crosby, Mary Quinshawn Judkins, these running backs that have clearly jumped Chase Brown.
Dan
Yeah.
Adam
That you'd actually rather have Charbonnet Than Brown in the. In the upside play like you didn't have to start him.
Dan
Yeah, it's tough to see the upside for Chase Brown at this point. He doesn't really make explosive plays at all. Their run game is one of the worst in the NFL. Yards created, I think they're last or second to dead last. Their O line is terrible. He's not currently very involved in the passing game. I guess that could take a step.
Jamie
He said seven catches last week.
Dan
Yeah, seven. Dump like that's fine. But they weren't going for anything. What did he score? Fantasy points.
Adam
Not that much.
Dan
Right. Even with the seven catches. So it's like his involvement is some dump offs. But.
Jamie
So the only way I go in your theory, Adam, the other way is that if my team is that good, what if the playoff stretch, you get Joe Burrow back and Chase Brown is.
Dan
He's not coming back. Man. If you read that article, it's like Jay Glazer's like, I know he's Joe Burrow. So maybe week 18, but this is a playoffs or nothing kind of thing.
Adam
I, I think I. I think I'd probably rather have Chase Brown, but how many.
Dan
The whole point of Chase Brown before the season was he's going to play almost every snap on an offense that's going to score a lot. So he'll have a lot of touchdowns. That's all gone now.
Adam
All right, let's move on. Doubt or Bill? Yeah.
Jamie
Basically for this week, I'd go daddle dowdle for sure.
Adam
Murray or Purdy rest of season.
Dan
I mean, who knows what's going on with Rock Purdy's injury. He had a huge setback. If Purdy's playing, I'd rather always rather Purdy, but I don't know if he's gonna play.
Adam
Yeah, start to olave lad Bill or dowdle dowdle.
Dan
It's full ppr, so that's important. But I mean in non ppr, it's definitely the two running backs. Even in half in full, I still would go for the guaranteed touches with those two.
Adam
Okay. Would you sit Derek Henry for Michael Carter?
Jamie
Yes.
Dan
Yeah. Yeah, I'll play the matchup. That's fine.
Adam
Wait, Adam is Flacco starting this week? Yes.
Dan
What's that joke to the pot? I haven't.
Jamie
I've.
Dan
I've missed five FFTs this week, so I have a long weekend account after the trade.
Jamie
Adam says, well, we'll trade it on Tuesday. We'll see if he's gonna start. And I was like, Adam, he's Gonna start. And then Wednesday when he. When he said it, I said, oh, wait, I just got a tweet. Captain Obvious said it.
Dan
So what was going on with the feud? I gotta check that episode.
Adam
I have an idea. Why don't you just ask Dave? He'll tell you everything. He'll spoil everything.
Dan
Oh, you're still bitter about that.
Jamie
Are you still gonna be mad at Dave on Sunday when you talk to him? Or are you gonna, like, you know, I was really mad at you on Friday.
Adam
The shoulders are going through the ceiling when I talk to.
Dan
Shoulders up, baby. Who does Miami have this weekend?
Adam
A wave of buy.
Dan
Okay, so I was gonna say you're gonna talk to him before Sunday for sure.
Adam
Seven straight ACC games.
Dan
How pumped are you about Miami right now? Miami football?
Adam
I feel the same way about them as I do about Jackson Dart. I'm cautiously optimistic. The Hurricanes have a tendency to fake us out every year, but they are different.
Dan
Their defense looks real this year.
Adam
They're nasty. They are nasty. They kick your ass.
Dan
And even that Florida State game, and it was kind of close, I guess by the score, but it never felt.
Adam
Like it was closed in. Beck played out of his mind.
Dan
Are you back on the Carson back first round pick?
Adam
Great. You're doubling down on that last one here.
Dan
So it started with Adam saying Carson Beck is a dark horse for first overall pick in the 20.
Adam
No, that's not gonna happen.
Dan
It did say that. You started with that. Then you said. All right, never mind. Just. I was wrong.
Adam
Yeah, no, he's not. He's not first overall pick, but I definitely think you can get in the first round.
Dan
Wow, that's insane.
Adam
Waddle or dowdle battle Sit one Charbonnet Carter. Ken Walker, full ppr.
Dan
Yeah. Though it's funny because Garbage could easily outscore Walker even though he doesn't play as him, just by scoring the touchdown.
Adam
All right, everybody, that's it for the show.
Jamie
That's something else. You got to pay up on the bet. Like this is. This was.
Adam
Take it up with Dave.
Dan
Yeah, yeah, I agree. You guys think of another.
Jamie
It doesn't have to be like a damn thing. It just be.
Dan
Yeah.
Jamie
On your proclamation.
Adam
Agreed. Yeah, well, I can't. It can't be that. You know, I can't agree with his bad takes. Like, I don't know who. Crosby, Stills.
Dan
And now I know what you can do.
Jamie
I'm gonna text you on. I'll textbook to you, but.
Adam
All right, everybody, thanks for watching. Have a great weekend. Talk to you Sunday morning. See you later.
Jamie

When I say insurance, you say financial services. Insurance. Financial services. Insurance, financial services. Now when I say nationwide, you say is both. Nationwide. Nationwide.
