This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports. What a play. Can you believe this? No, I can't.
Adam Aizer
It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races and he stays on his feet.
Dan Schneier
This is going to go the distance.
Adam Aizer
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath. Well, hello everybody. It is bail. Oh, no, I screwed that up. It's not. It is.
Dan Schneier
It's.
Adam Aizer
It's mailbag time. The three best words in fantasy football. We welcome you to Fantasy Football today presented by BetMGM. Make it legendary. If you're watching on Friday, Happy Halloween. Dan Schneier strikes me as someone who absolutely hates Halloween.
Dan Schneier
I don't hate Halloween by any means. I don't dress up for Halloween anymore, but I don't hate it.
Adam Aizer
You should dress up.
Dan Schneier
But what would I dress up as? I. I could dress up as you. You should. I've been working on on the side. It's not going to happen this episode. I didn't have time for it. But I am working on. It's a multi week process, apparently, my atomizer impression. So to. For a later mailbag to come.
Adam Aizer
My prediction.
Jamie Eisenberg
Toothpick factory.
Dan Schneier
Very nice. They took me on a personalized tour. I, you know, they said, we really like your work and we want to give you this personalized tour. But when you go back, we got a couple words that we need you to share with one, Jamie Eisenberg.
Jamie Eisenberg
With me?
Dan Schneier
Yeah. Yeah, yeah. You were one of the biggest haters when it came to, you know, leaving the pics in the sandwich.
Adam Aizer
Oh.
Jamie Eisenberg
Oh, that. Yeah, that's stupid.
Adam Aizer
Jb, how are you?
Jamie Eisenberg
I'm. I'm good. I see a lot of people asking about Dan's nose trip. What was that all about?
Dan Schneier
You know what? Here's the deal. I got a lot of issues when it comes to breathing. As you can probably hear, the allergies are coming out. Can barely breathe, and that thing helped me breathe. So I said, you know what? Let me try to wear it for one show and see how it goes. Can I talk better? You know, is it a situation where you'll work your way through the show and you'll be a better analyst and a better podcaster? I felt like it helped, but there's just way too much aesthetically. It's just not the look we're going for. Oh, my gosh.
Adam Aizer
If you're not watching, man, what a.
Dan Schneier
Picture the screenshot is says it all those on YouTube. I've worn this thing out. This is not the first time. I don't care. I'm not. I'm not. I'm shameless. I'll be wearing it to golf. It helps me go. I'm not shameless with this. I'll bring it in public again.
Adam Aizer
Oh, man. All right, well, we just hook up.
Jamie Eisenberg
The apnea machine and just walk around with that.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, we'll bring the CPAP machine with you. Good idea.
Dan Schneier
I found out I have a fully deviated septum and like, only getting like 30 of the. From the other side, I can. Basically, I'm just living life without breathing. And you put that thing on and it's like you're in a whole new world. It opens up everything. It's unreal. All right. In some ways, I'm addicted to it now.
Adam Aizer
I support this. I support this. Dan, what do you think? Before we get into the show, what do you think about my, my little screen name today?
Dan Schneier
Aegon Tarskarian.
Adam Aizer
Egon.
Dan Schneier
Dad joke.
Adam Aizer
Egon Tarskarian. Because you said Egon Targaryen.
Dan Schneier
No, it's Aegon. It's never been Ego.
Adam Aizer
Someone sent in the Ghostbusters. There's a dear Egon Peter, and you said, oh, is that Aegon Targaryen? Is this Game of Thrones?
Dan Schneier
So I remember that. I remember that's Jamie's favorite joke. Well, it's been replaced. It's been replaced by many over the years, but, yeah, another good dad joke by you.
Adam Aizer
Jamie's. Yeah, your favorite.
Dan Schneier
Your, your favorite joke.
Jamie Eisenberg
Oh, no. What is that shirt you're wearing?
Dan Schneier
Where did you find that?
Jamie Eisenberg
It's hard to see, but.
Dan Schneier
It's so hard to see, but I can kind of still see. I think he's wearing a wear shirt.
Adam Aizer
Yes, he is. Okay. News and notes. Travis Hunter is on ir. He is out at least four games and, you know, could be more than that. We haven't gotten word on the severity. But Jamie, what's your reaction to this? He's going to miss games against the Raiders, Texans, Chargers and Cardinals.
Jamie Eisenberg
He may miss more than that because it was apparently a non contact injury in practice. So this could be season ending by the time we find out next week. So, I mean, hold him for now, you know, if you have an IR spot, stash him. An ir. It's just, it sucks, you know, because the last time we saw him, he was awesome. You know, 100 yards and a touchdown, 14 targets. And we got word that there was going to be, you know, a big second half coming for him. So now it's all Brian Thomas Jr. You know, this is what we had last year, right? Coming off the bye week, we had Evan Ingram out. We had Christian Kirk out. He was the featured guy by far, and now's your time. So, you know, I, I, I, I'm hopeful for him. In the interim, you pick up Parker Washington, I would not be surprised. Jackson was 4 and 3. They're sitting in, you know, playoff contention right now. They could be aggressive in trying to acquire a wide receiver because they definitely need to help with or without Hunter, but certainly not without him. So this is, you know, something to keep an eye on for sure In Jacksonville.
Dan Schneier
I think Parker Washington will quickly work his way onto our fantasy radar. That's probably my biggest takeaway from it, just given what we've seen From Brian Thomas Jr. On tape this year, the injuries he's playing through. I'm not very Hopeful on that front, regardless if he's coming out of the buy or not. For me personally, we just wasted time, Jacob and I spending hours in the last like three or four podcasts breaking down the Hunter upside down. I don't know if anyone can really fit into what we were projecting he could be second half season, including Brian Thomas Jr. They're just different players in different roles. But maybe what Jamie said is true. Brian Thomas comes out motivated from the bye week, healthier and we could see some of what we saw last year though again, most of what we saw last year at least the best of Brian Thomas was with Mac Jones.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, look, here's the thing about Brian Thomas Jr. It's not like Travis Hunter has been a huge part of this offense to begin with And Brian Thomas Jr. Has struggled. Now it's obviously better for Brian Thomas Jr. Than potentially, you know, seating the number one wide receiver role to Travis Hunter, which was on the table. So it's obviously, you know, good for his value. But he's wearing this shoulder harness now. It's, you know, he's not even healthy. So I'm not sure. I mean we were talking about him Wednesday. Jamie, as a, as a number two receiver. Is that still how you view Brian Thomas Jr. Rest of season?
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah, I mean you can't view him as number one guy, you know, until he starts to play like it.
Adam Aizer
Actually we were more like number two, three kind of receiver.
Jamie Eisenberg
Look, he gets an uptick. You can't take away a guy that just had 14 targets and 20 plus targets in his last two games and say this doesn't help his situation. Whether he takes advantage of it is going to be up to him, the offense and the quarterback. So I'm, I'm hopeful. You know, I'm, I mean, look, I have Brian Thomas in several leagues. I'm, I certainly wasn't, you know, going to get rid of him for, for nothing at this point. You know, in, in a couple leagues. Like he's, he's not a must start guy yet, but he has the ability to get there. Their schedule coming up is brutal, so it's also part of that as well. But this is the chance for him to get into, you know, back into our good graces, prove that he can be that alpha receiver for the Jaguars and hopefully that's what happens. I mean, look, we drafted this kid, second round pick at the, at the latest and he's been a bust. Okay.
Adam Aizer
All right. Other news items got just some like offensive line, defensive stuff. Detroit left tackle Taylor Decker. Decker expected to play. And cornerback Terry and Arnold could play, but Kirby Joseph, their safety, is likely out against Minnesota. Buffalo safety Taylor Rapp is out for the season and both starting defensive tackles are out this week against the Chiefs. Pittsburgh Safety to Sean Elliott is on IR. 33 Giants Cornerbacks are likely out. Dalton Schultz practiced. He got back into practice today for the game against Denver. Cincinnati defensive Entra Hendrickson is not practicing Sunday, 11am to 1pm Eastern. Be here. YouTube.com fantasy football today we'll be answering your start or sit questions.
Jamie Eisenberg
No Ramon Dre Stevenson again.
Adam Aizer
Oh, wow.
Dan Schneier
Ooh.
Adam Aizer
Okay, Prepare to start Mr. Mr. Henderson.
Jamie Eisenberg
Now.
Dan Schneier
Dan, how you feeling? Not.
Adam Aizer
No, not confidently. Not confidently. How do you feel about that?
Dan Schneier
About Travion Henderson?
Adam Aizer
Yeah, if Ramandre were out, I mean.
Dan Schneier
Of course worth starting. It's not somebody I'm going to leave on my bench at that point, but I'm not going to be too hopeful about it. I, I'm sure the Patriots will find some other back that we haven't seen all season that will take some touches.
Jamie Eisenberg
You view him as a low end, number two running back, high inflex. He's in the same conversation. Whether you like him more or less. We can debate that of Bam Knight and Kareem Hunt and Woody Marks and the Seattle guys. I think Rico Dowdle for this week alone, just because of who he's facing in Green bay. So that 20 to 28 range of running backs, I would start him over the Titans guys, I would start him over the Vikings guys. I would start him over Alvin Camara this week. You know, just given his situation, how he's performed and what his matchup is like, there, there's going to be somebody else. There's, there's, as Dan said, you know, there's going to be somebody else that's going to take touches and maybe better than Treven. Hence, you have to brace for that possibility. He has obviously struggled and they don't trust him fully, but this is what we've been waiting for. We've been waiting for a chance for him to get featured. We thought it might happen when Gibson got hurt. We thought it might happen with 85 fumbles for a Mondre Stevenson. They have not trusted him yet. They may not have a choice.
Dan Schneier
Yeah.
Adam Aizer
Terrell Jennings would be maybe if you're desperate. Dave mentioned that on the show.
Dan Schneier
Yeah.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah. Okay.
Adam Aizer
And let's get to some YouTube comments, folks. What do we got here? Adam? The type of dude to hate pumpkin spice goodies just to be different. Yes. Pumpkin. Pumpkin flavor is Gross. Pumpkin pie is gross pumpkin anything. Yes, it is. It's all gross.
Dan Schneier
Pumpkin pie is fantastic.
Adam Aizer
Pumpkin pie is revolting you if you.
Dan Schneier
Were a slice of pumpkin pie. Sorry.
Adam Aizer
I've had a slice. I had it a couple.
Dan Schneier
I want to let Jamie get the analysis and then I'll bash you.
Jamie Eisenberg
Go ahead. No. 22 quarterback news. Joe Flacco, stop short. According to Ian Rap Ports of saying he's playing. He wants to see how he throws first. But expected to play. And Jane Daniel's officially back.
Adam Aizer
Oh, Flaco's gonna play.
Dan Schneier
Okay, great. I feel like I. I actually kind of agree with this take that. You just are hating on pumpkin spice things just to hate.
Jamie Eisenberg
No, I just.
Dan Schneier
Somebody puts a pump a slice of pumpkin pie in front of you, you'll eat that. You're not gonna be. Oh, this is gross. Like, it's actually just tasty and, you know, it tastes good.
Adam Aizer
No.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm having a. I don't really like pumpkin spice. I'm just going to be honest.
Adam Aizer
I don't know that I really ever had pumpkin pie until a couple of years ago. Not even. Because it was in this house that I'm living, that I've been in this house for two years. So it's on the air. I was eating pumpkin pie. It was one of those Thursday night or Tuesday night before. It was like a. It was a livestream. It wasn't a podcast. And I was eating. I was like, this is awful. I'm not enjoying this at all.
Jamie Eisenberg
Pumpkin pie.
Adam Aizer
Yeah. Pumpkin pie.
Jamie Eisenberg
So fantastic. Yeah.
Dan Schneier
I don't understand this. It's good. I'm not even a pumpkin spice guy, but it's good. Like, it's just basically cinnamon and nutmeg. Who doesn't like that?
Adam Aizer
Tyrone Tracy or Bam Knight?
Jamie Eisenberg
Tracy.
Dan Schneier
Tracy. Yeah.
Adam Aizer
Would you trade away Devonte Adams and Kamani Vidal for Barkley and Bigsby?
Dan Schneier
Oh, at 6 and 2, seems like you ha. I guess you have the wide receiver depth to consider this.
Jamie Eisenberg
I mean, the. The short term for Vidal, we don't know. Right. It could be another two weeks. It could be another four weeks for when Hampton's out.
Adam Aizer
Okay.
Jamie Eisenberg
I guess if you. If you really believe in. In Barkley, you make the trade.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, I think I do it.
Adam Aizer
Trade. Sutton and Bashard Smith for Nico Collins.
Jamie Eisenberg
Sutton and Rashard Smith for Nico Collins. No.
Dan Schneier
Wow. It's a no for you, is it? Essentially, you feel that Brashard's going to take a bigger role now. Is that the. Is that the key catalyst here? Are you feeling better?
Jamie Eisenberg
Than Nico. This so far.
Dan Schneier
He has so far. Yeah.
Jamie Eisenberg
I think you're just. You know, I don't want to say it's a wash, but like, we don't know how long Pacheco is going to be out. Like Smith could take a huge step forward.
Dan Schneier
True. Yeah, I'm close on it. I'm not sure.
Jamie Eisenberg
I wonder.
Adam Aizer
I just curious what the point differential is between Sutton and Nico.
Dan Schneier
Disappointing, too.
Adam Aizer
13.6 and 13.1. Sutton's been a half point better in.
Dan Schneier
Full PPR and that's probably at like the lowest possible outcome of what Nico can be. Right. Most of the time this Texans offense has been dysfunctional completely. Maybe now they're finding something, a way to function.
Adam Aizer
I agree. Pumpkin. Anything is gross. Thank you again.
Dan Schneier
Pumpkin's not great or anything. I'm just saying a pumpkin piece of a slice of pumpkin pieces is not bad.
Adam Aizer
Yeah.
Dan Schneier
Put it in front of Adam. You'll eat it. No, gross.
Adam Aizer
I will. Right? I won't eat it anymore. Cup, Spears, Blake, Corum, pick two.
Jamie Eisenberg
I mean, we don't know if cup is playing. Yeah. Spears is my favorite of this trio. I don't mind coram in a desperate situation, which clearly you are because they're probably going to blow out the Saints. And the last time we saw this was in week seven. He had 12 carries and a catch. So if you tell me he's getting 13, 12, 13 to 15 total touches, I would take quorum, but cup is probably the safer bet.
Dan Schneier
Question, what was this? What's going on in the comments with the tech with the candy corn? Are you just like a. Are you a big candy, Adam?
Adam Aizer
No, I said there's. There's one brand of candy corn that's not bad.
Dan Schneier
Brax.
Jamie Eisenberg
I don't. It's called. It's called invisible.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, I'm with Jamie. I think it's one of the most disgusting things ever created, but I got headaches.
Jamie Eisenberg
Let me ask this question. You're going to take your kids trick or chain tonight, right. And you're going to walk around and there's going to be a. You know, every house, every neighborhood has this. You know, the house just leaves the bowl. Candy out or they just give you the bowl. You know, they open the door. Yeah. And, oh, take what you want. And so you're going to sift through. There is going to be all like the fun stuff, M M's, you know, whatever. And you're going to go, oh, candy corn. You take it.
Adam Aizer
I. Yeah, I'd take it. I have no problem. No I would. Not over the ones. Not over the ones you just said. No. No chance.
Jamie Eisenberg
But if you're saying if it's the only thing there. All right, so best piece of pumpkin pie in the world and your favorite brand of candy corn. You're taking candy.
Adam Aizer
Oh, my gosh.
Dan Schneier
There is no you.
Adam Aizer
There's no such thing as the best piece of, of pumpkin pie.
Jamie Eisenberg
It's like being, yes, my wife makes amazing pumpkin pie.
Dan Schneier
Pumpkin pie is not bad by any means. It's not like the best version of pie. It wouldn't be in my top 10. But it's clearly better than candy corn. Candy corn is disgusting. Y fake sugar.
Jamie Eisenberg
You were about to say something else.
Adam Aizer
All right, all right.
Dan Schneier
I wasn't. I wasn't, I wasn't.
Adam Aizer
Romeo Dobbs or Juwan Jennings.
Jamie Eisenberg
I go Jennings.
Dan Schneier
I'll go Dobbs in that Trust Dobbs a lot from watching the Packers.
Adam Aizer
Would you drop, would you drop Kendrick Bourne for Parker Washington?
Jamie Eisenberg
Yes.
Dan Schneier
Let me ask you a quick, a quick trick or treat question. I saw a video of, you know, one of those video people who leave the bowl outs like, take one, please, and the kid is just like dumping the whole thing in. Do you have a conversation with your kids beforehand or just assume that you've raised them good enough that they won't be those types of people?
Jamie Eisenberg
I raised them well enough.
Dan Schneier
Well enough. Sorry.
Jamie Eisenberg
So if I'm with them and, you know, we see that there's the bowl of candy out, I make sure to tell them, just take one and that's it.
Dan Schneier
Okay.
Jamie Eisenberg
So you do mention it if they're alone. So, you know, I have a 13 year old now. If, if, if he's going to be that jerk that goes and, and dumps the whole thing into his bag, I'll know when he gets home because I, I have a pretty good idea of where he's gonna go. Then we'll have a conversation like, don't be rude to your neighbors.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, it's pretty bad.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah.
Adam Aizer
Can't do it. All right, let's take a break and we will talk about. We'll read your emails. Read your emails. When we come back on fantasy football.
Dan Schneier

You know who's the number one of that? Whenever there's an injury that leads to like a new job or a new role, every time I go to our CBS leagues which come after some of my, my home leagues and stuff, it's always Jamie Eisenberg rosters this player. Jamie roster trade. You have to click like instead of A.D. it's like, oh, trade to Jamie just finds a way to just snap up all those players.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, he's good at that.
Dan Schneier
Okay, gotta be faster.
Adam Aizer
Email from Chris subject line. Oh, our email address is fantasy football. You can also leave us a five star Apple podcast review and leave a question there. You can ask us a question in a Spotify comment and boost our Spotify rating, please. You can. Yeah, that's about it. And we have your YouTube comments at the end of the show as well. All right, Chris, the subject was quote, sees the fewest pass attempts, end quote. Can you guys expand on what this means, why it happens and how it can be informative? And yes, I do say that a lot. Like for example, I said the, the Vikings see the second fewest pass attempts in the NFL. The Falcons see the fewest. The Bills see the third fewest. The Dolphins see the fourth fewest. On the other hand, the Seahawks, Packers, Steelers, Colts, Cardinals, they see the most pass attempts. So I usually try to go through and say like, why is this happening? Is it just a fluke? So let me see if I have any notes on.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, because those teams don't even add up. Like I would think like, oh, some of those teams like the Dolphins, well, guess what? Dolphins are down multiple scores every game. Teams are running on them. But there's also the Bills in there.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, the Bills. I'm not quite sure what, what the situation with the Bills. It could be they face run heavy teams or whatever. But the Dolphins, you know, I kind of got poo pooed when I brought it up, but I think they gave up the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers because they also see the fewest or the second fewest target wide receiver targets. We had a game where lamar Jackson threw 23 passes. So it wasn't a big surprise that Zay Flowers was just okay yesterday. No, I don't think it was. And yeah, I do think it's important. I always try to see like, is there a reason why this team is seeing the fewest past attempts? Do they have a really bad run defense? Sometimes teams that have terrible run defenses are actually good against wide receivers simply because of low target volume. So that's the kind of stuff I, I look at Chris.
Jamie Eisenberg
And it's also, I mean, you got to take into account who they played too, right? Of course you had matchups, you had a Bryce Young game, you had a Kirk Cousins game. You know, you had some quarterbacks that obviously just don't have that. I, I think like where this comes into play is when a team like the packers or the Seahawks is playing a team like the Dolphins. So a quarterback or a system that's just not throwing the ball very much versus a team that's not seeing a lot of passing time. Like that's awful.
Adam Aizer
And last week we talked about how the packers and the Steelers, they faced each other and they going into that game we're seeing the most pass attempts in the NFL and now they're second and third barely behind the Seahawks. And it worked out right. You didn't get a ton of past attempts from Rogers, but you got over 30, which is, which is what you need. And Love had to throw the ball. And teams facing the Colts, the Colts, their highest scoring team in football. So is it a surprise that they, I mean it's almost a four way tie between the Seahawks, Packers, Steelers, And Colts, they all see 39 or more pass attempts per game. It's not a surprise. So, yeah, these are things that I think about, but it can't. It can't just be random. As we get further into the season, it does feel a little bit less random. Right? Like after three games, you look at the matchups. Even after eight games, you look at the matchups. Once we get to the week 12 or 13, I'm probably going to consider it more sticky.
Dan Schneier
Yep.
Adam Aizer
All right, question from Luke. Currently, I have T. Higgins in my lineup and non ppr. I also have Juwan Jennings. If Flacco starts, I go Higgins, but if Purdy starts, should I go Jennings? Jamie?
Jamie Eisenberg
I'd still go Higgins, but it's closer. You know, again, the. The thing to go back for me with Jennings that we talked about this morning is. Or Friday morning, excuse me, is seven targets each of the last two weeks against Atlanta and against Houston. Brutal matchups. Now you're talking about taking on a Giants defense with a depleted secondary. And if Purdy starts, that just makes it that much more attractive. I. It's. It's funny. You. You said something and it stuck in my head. So I had a. I wrote my DFS preview for this weekend last night, and I had a Jaguar stack all ready to go of Lawrence and Hunter, and I had to scrap that. And so in its place, I had to retool some of the wide receivers. I put Jennings in because you said, oh, it could be a good DFS play because Giants. And so Jennings was very cheap, and so I used him in the lineup. But there. There's just opportunity here. You know, it's seemingly. He's seemingly healthy. Not on the injury report. That's a plus. And I think once we get everybody healthy, you're going to see the pecking order in their receiving court. Jennings one, Pierce all two. Born three. And so if. If Purdy starts this week, that's just even more of a plus in the. In the favor of. Of Jennings. But I still think Higgins has more upside. Bears have been bad against opposing receivers, and I know it hasn't been a huge target bump with Flacco, but there's still that opportunity. He should have had three touchdowns in the last two weeks. Remember, he slid short of the end in their.
Dan Schneier
In their win against Pittsburgh, and that's if Flacco starts. If Flaco starts them in on Higgins, if Flacco is not starting. No matter who plays quarterback, the 49ers, I'll actually be playing Jennings over Higgins in all spots. I. I have no trust with Higgins with Browning in there.
Adam Aizer
Question from Josh. I'm 6 and 2. I have survived Bowers and Lamb injuries. I been offered Omarion Hampton for Kamani Vidal. The Hampton manager is 3 and 5 and wants to get in the playoffs. I'm 6 and 2. Should I give up Vidal for Hampton?
Dan Schneier
I am.
Adam Aizer
I. I said yes. I emailed, responded to the email. I said yes. But it's definitely risky because we don't know when Hampton's coming back.
Jamie Eisenberg
Right.
Dan Schneier
But the last.
Adam Aizer
I guess I don't see.
Jamie Eisenberg
I would try and find some way to make. To get Hampton without giving up right now. You could, because clearly that manager is. Is probably desperate.
Adam Aizer
Or you could trade Videl for his running back. Like one of his running backs that's better than Vidal.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah, I mean, I. I don't. Yeah, we. Like, we. You could find out Hampton's out for the season and then you're screwed.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, it is the risk.
Jamie Eisenberg
All right.
Adam Aizer

Dan Schneier
Ooh.
Adam Aizer
Ty Moan. Tracy is my RB one. Choose an RB and a flex. If Ramona.
Jamie Eisenberg
You get so excited about these.
Dan Schneier
You worked hard on that one.
Adam Aizer
If Ramandre Stevenson is out, choose a running back and a flex. Woody Marks, Travion Henderson, Kareem Hunt, Zach Charbonnet, Jake Ferguson.
Jamie Eisenberg
I would still go Woody Marks.
Dan Schneier
I think it's one running back and one flex.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah, Flex is Ferguson easily for me, but I would go Marks.
Dan Schneier
Okay.
Jamie Eisenberg
I could.
Dan Schneier
I mean, for me, I'll. I'll just put it out there. I'm putting Hunt over all of these backs. I'm very, very high on Cream Hunt during this stretch. Coming up, don't really See any reason not to be? Maybe he won't have fully take over the role Isaiah Pacheco is playing from the early down standpoint but he's going to take some of them and he's still going to be every single red zone series for them. Maybe they'll mix in Smith occasionally. The touchdown upside is insanely high with Hunt among probably the highest among most of the backs we have on the slate. It's. It seems a lot like a Javante Williams type situation light because he's not going to get the same work between the twenties. I'll take that over just about every back there and a lot of backs. Honestly I'm very high on Hunt moving forward. I tried to make that clear on a few shows. So I would go Hunt here and then we could go Ferguson I guess. Hunter's obviously out now.
Jamie Eisenberg
Really?
Dan Schneier
Ferguson or Marks if it's PPR though. Ferguson, yeah.
Adam Aizer
By the way, you know, look, I don't know how long Pacheco's gonna be out. He's week to week. They've got Buffalo this week. Assuming he's not gonna play then they have a buy. So you might only get one game out of Kareem Hunt as a featured back.
Dan Schneier
But I, I maybe set up that injury could linger.
Adam Aizer
I think he's set up for a great game.
Jamie Eisenberg
He also could run away with the job.
Dan Schneier
That's the thing. I mean Hunt has actually looked pretty good this year in my opinion. He's looked more, he looks lighter, I don't know, looks more explosive than he's been in recent years.
Adam Aizer
Okay, Dan. Different Dan says I traded away Trey Benson and Quentin Johnston for Chase Brown. I'm deep at receiver. I needed an RB2 while I wait for Hampton to return full PPR. I traded Benson and Quentin Johnston for Chase Brown.
Dan Schneier
Seems pretty good to me. I mean we don't even know when Benson's coming back, if he'll have a full time role, if that offense will be effective. Not to say Chase Brown's a lock, but in games with Joe Flacco Chase Brown's a pretty consistent. I think he can be a pretty consistent back end. RB2 Flex and QJ at this point he's basically just a big player nothing type play.
Jamie Eisenberg
It's a great short term trade with potential long term appeal as well because you can't play Benson. We've seen Quentin Johnson fall off and Chase Brown has taken off and to Dan's point, like we don't know if Benson will return. When he does come back his first Game is miserable against Seattle. So you know you may not have him for three more games, you know, this week, next week and then another one depending if he's healthy.
Adam Aizer
From Michael Full PPR DeAndre Swift or Kareem Hunt.
Jamie Eisenberg
Swift.
Dan Schneier
As much as I like Hunt, I'm gonna go swift.
Adam Aizer
From Johnny Charbonnet or Kyle Menangai.
Dan Schneier
More touchdown upside with Charbonnet.
Adam Aizer
So sure from Daniel. Pick two. Wandale Robinson, Jordan, Addison, Romeo Dobbs and I'll throw Rico Dowdle in there. Wandale, Addison, Dobbs, Dowdle.
Dan Schneier
Pick two Wandell and Addison for me.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yep.
Adam Aizer
Fly fishing. Dave wants us to greatest trade and half ppr. Give AJ Brown and Aaron Jones. Get Garrett Wilson and Trey Benson.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, I'll give it a B plus slight upgrade maybe Brown to Wilson. That could end up being a wash but I think definite upgrade Jones to Benson. There's not much hope with Jones.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yep.
Adam Aizer
Chris is in a dynasty league. He needs wide receiver help. He was offered Debo Samuel and a late second round pick in 2026 for Cam Scatterboo and a third round pick that's going to likely be late in 2026.
Dan Schneier
This is Dynasty though.
Adam Aizer
Or this is dynasty.
Dan Schneier
I would not do this in dynasty. This is somebody trying to buy low on Cam Scatter Boon. Dynasty. I don't just would not be doing this.
Jamie Eisenberg
I think you just got to get better than Debo. I. I know. Look, you're. We're getting to the trade deadline and most people that are out of it are unloading aging wide receivers. Makes total sense, you know. So you, you're not going to get a young stud for Cam Scatter Boo. If that's the move you're trying to make, I would just look for a little bit better than. Than Debo.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, I guess.
Jamie Eisenberg
And look, you're getting drafted compensation on top of it. So it's not, it's not an awful deal. But I just don't think Debo is the type of player you give up what Scatter Boo could be.
Dan Schneier
Still that's the thing like Scatter Boo from what I've read is supposed to be back for the start of like training camp, let alone like not just like is he going to be back for the office? It's supposed to be not like a six to eight month injury. So the, the Giants have already proven they believe he's like the focal point fulcrum of their offense. I don't think we're ever going to get that at a Debo again. He's eight.
Jamie Eisenberg
At the same time I Think for anybody that's shopping Scatter boot, we've been through this before with lower leg injuries, with running backs, but yeah, it's still not right. It took Pollard over a year to get back to being himself. And I do think in the case of scatter Boot, the way that he plays, he's going to have a very short, true self life of, of being potentially a borderline star. I don't know if he's ever going to be a star, but a borderline star. So if you can, if you need to unload him as a trade chip to help your dynasty roster, he's certainly should be somebody in play. I just think you need a little bit better than, than Debo to give up for him. So if Debo is playing as well as he had been at the start of the season, no brainer. But right now we've seen the lull. McLaren's gonna eventually be back. Daniels is playing through an injury. Like, there's a lot of things going wrong with Washington right now.
Adam Aizer
Tebow's gonna be 30 soon. Yeah, he's gonna be 30 in January. He's not.
Dan Schneier
He's a hard, physical style.
Jamie Eisenberg
This is a rental. I mean, again, you know, when you're making these trips, like, I'm trying to think of somebody else who falls in this category of like aging wide receiver who can still be productive, like, forget Devonte Adams. On a different level.
Dan Schneier
I actually think you should be trading. Like, if you're trading Cam Scatter, but you're still. If you're. If you're not putting him in that pedestal or on that tier, like, you're just selling him so low. Why?
Adam Aizer
Well, because, you know, because he might not.
Jamie Eisenberg
You want to miss down the chance to win now.
Adam Aizer
It's true.
Dan Schneier
Yeah.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah.
Adam Aizer
Scatter.
Jamie Eisenberg
That's a good one. Somebody played Keenan out, you know, that's the type of play. Like, if I get Keenan Allen for Camp Scatterboo as a rental, I'm doing that with the hope that I win the league.
Dan Schneier
Now, I could not do that, but I get.
Adam Aizer
I know. I mean, I understand what Jamie's saying. I personally wouldn't do it, but. Yeah, but. So you're saying that you're. So that's the thing. Like, I don't even know that Keenan Allen's gonna be better than Debo Samuel rest of season and Debo's three years younger.
Jamie Eisenberg
But again, what you're looking at is teams that are out of it. They're not trading young talent. They're not giving you, you know, Players that are going to help them in the future. Dave just unloaded his entire team.
Adam Aizer
But Jamie, could you, could you maybe get. I was going to say McLaurin, but he's hurt. I mean, could you get like a solid receiver like devonte Smith potentially?
Jamie Eisenberg
I mean, you know, I think you're probably giving up Scottaboo in a second for devonte Smith and not getting a pick in return.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, maybe, but. Right, because Smith's valuable. But, but at the same time, like Scatter Boo looked like he could be an RB one. I don't know. Like Dak Prescott had a similar injury right in Scatter Boo and he barely ran the following year. Chris Godwin had a similar injury last year and he's obviously had some major issues. We don't know. I don't know. I know. I know that he's going to be back for week one. It seems that way, if not training camp. I just don't know what to expect from Scatterbun.
Jamie Eisenberg
That's the thing again, when you're in the spot of first in your, in your league, top three in your league and you need assets, you have to give up something to get it.
Dan Schneier
Sure.
Jamie Eisenberg
You know, and in the case of like, for me, I would rather, I would aim higher than Debo and yes, I would aim higher than Keenan Allen. Clearly, you know, I'm just talking about what teams are unloading, you know, so when you're, when you're headed for tank mode or rebuild mode, I give example 2 years ago I needed help to, it was time to, you know, hit the reset button. I traded Mike Evans when he was 29, going to be 30. Right. I regretted it last year, but you know what I got in return? I got a first round pick for him that ended up being lad McConkey. So like that's the type of thing you have to do. You have to give up some asset that's still worth, worth something. So in the case of Cam Scatter Boo, yes, it would suck to give him up. He's not helping you at all this season. You want that prize money at the end of the year, you got to go have something to get it.
Dan Schneier
Are you Herbert and Ernie? Are you the one who did this trade with Dave?
Jamie Eisenberg
No, that's Jack.
Dan Schneier
That's Jack. That's a wild trade in a dynasty league. Just looking at that, I don't even know like if I think so. Here's the trade just for those listening. I'm curious to see what the listeners think the team competing for now acquired from Dave George Kittle, overshown. David Montgomery, Evans, who's out for the year.
Adam Aizer
He's not out for the year.
Dan Schneier
He's not out for the year. How long is he out for?
Jamie Eisenberg
He could return for the end of the season and definitely for the NFL playoffs.
Dan Schneier
Okay, well that may not help.
Jamie Eisenberg
It does not help a lot of fantasy managers.
Dan Schneier
Yeah. And so Montgomery, Evans, Kittle and McLaurin. Who's hurt? Tillman and Camara for a one, two. Andrews and Palmer. I don't, like, I don't know if that's enough for a one and a two.
Jamie Eisenberg
So I, I would disagree just from the standpoint of I, I think it's a 14 team league.
Dan Schneier
Yeah.
Jamie Eisenberg
Kittle is a borderline first round pick.
Dan Schneier
Borderline first round pick you think in dynasty.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yes.
Dan Schneier
Like I guess maybe I don't have the value. Right.
Adam Aizer
I don't agree.
Dan Schneier
He's 32 years old, Kiddle. I mean all these kinds of, you're.
Jamie Eisenberg
Trying to win now.
Dan Schneier
Massive rentals. Yeah. Trying to win now. But like three of them are injured that you traded for.
Adam Aizer
I think, I think Kittle's got some, some 20, 25 downside that we don't really, you know.
Jamie Eisenberg
Okay, let's, let's, let's dial. So he's worth the second round.
Adam Aizer
Second round, Right.
Jamie Eisenberg
Nobody's getting him for less than a second.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, for sure.
Jamie Eisenberg
Montgomery is probably a two or a three, three again. It's, it's hard to get players that are going to be productive.
Dan Schneier
Like I know. And Evans is hurt, McLaurin is hurt.
Adam Aizer
Over shown is hurt now by the.
Jamie Eisenberg
Way, when he did, when he made the trade, McLaren was back and overshone too.
Adam Aizer
Like overshot was. Oh no, it wasn't, wasn't back. But he's, he had like a, some setback, some injury this week, but overshone could be really good. Like, I know we don't talk about IDP a lot, but this guy looked like a rising star coming off a huge injury.
Dan Schneier
I don't know anything.
Jamie Eisenberg
I didn't like what, what Dave did was I would have tried to sell them off individually and see if you could have done better.
Dan Schneier
Right.
Jamie Eisenberg
And the thing that I told him was this type of trade you make at the deadline, like we're not at the deadline.
Dan Schneier
Yeah.
Jamie Eisenberg
Like right. He's gonna have, he's gonna have three or four teams that are panicked because of a trade or two that happens.
Dan Schneier
I still like the trade for Dave, honestly. I mean, getting a one and two. I, I, maybe he could have got more if he Sold off individually. I don't know. I don't know who's like David Montgomery and Dynasty. Evans and Dynasty. These are.
Jamie Eisenberg
You got to look at it though, from the buyer's perspective. It's a 14 team league. There's nobody on waivers. And what. What can you possibly get? Like, Montgomery can still be an RB2. Kiddo is still going to be. I mean.
Dan Schneier
No, I see what you're saying. Like, that's kind of my point. If you don't package them all together, you're never going to get the one, right? So this is your only chance to get the. The one back.
Jamie Eisenberg
I. I don't know. I think he could have sold Killer for one.
Dan Schneier
Okay. Kittle for one. Wow. Okay.
Adam Aizer
All right, guys, we gotta move on here. A few more questions.
Jamie Eisenberg
Not straight up, but in. In some sort of deal.
Dan Schneier
Yeah.
Adam Aizer
From Michael. I'm starting Trey McBride at tight end now. Who's my flex? Ashton Genti, Kareem Hunt, Arande Gadsden, Genti.
Dan Schneier
I mean, you're just not gonna bench Genti? I'm not confident in it by any means. Like, I could easily see Kareem Hunt outscoring him. I could easily see Gatson outscoring him very easily, honestly. But I would start Genti from.
Adam Aizer
From Jess Drake, May or Dak Prescott.
Jamie Eisenberg
Daku.
Dan Schneier
Quick stat on those two. I'll go in this matchup with Dak, too. They are the number one and number two quarterbacks. And on target percentage. They're on throws. On target the season.
Adam Aizer
Excellent half ppr.
Dan Schneier
Great quarterback.
Adam Aizer
Give me a wide receiver and a flex. Cortland Sutton, Christian Watson, Trey Tucker, Travion Henderson. If Stevenson's out, give me a wide receiver and a flex. Sutton, Watson, Tucker, Henderson.
Dan Schneier
Sutton and Henderson.
Jamie Eisenberg
That's probably what I would do too. I don't love Sutton this week, but he's better than the other two guys.
Adam Aizer
All right, we're going to rapid fire these from Michael. David Montgomery or Woody Marks.
Dan Schneier
Montgomery Marks.
Jamie Eisenberg
And PPR.
Adam Aizer
It is. Full PPR from Joey. Pick two. Bam Knight, J.K. dobbins, Travis Etn setting.
Jamie Eisenberg
Dobbins. Me too.
Dan Schneier
Sitting Dobbins overnight. I'll play Dobbins in ATN from Stephen.
Adam Aizer
Full PPR. Give T. Higgins and. And Rashad White. Get A.J. brown.
Jamie Eisenberg
I don't love it.
Dan Schneier
I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. But Higgins with Flacco is pretty intriguing, so I. I don't like it.
Jamie Eisenberg
You gotta buy low on AJ Brown at some point and you got to give up something to get him. So if. If he is going to be better in the second half of the season. Schedule's great target for him. There could be a huge second half. Rashad White's the key to this whole thing. If Bucky Irving's back, then you win this trade to me by. By a good enough margin.
Dan Schneier
If.
Jamie Eisenberg
If Bucky Irving's out for another several weeks, then it's a. A tough, tough deal. So I'm gonna go B minus. I. I would. I would make the trade, but not fully. Not fully. Loving it.
Adam Aizer
All right, last one, guys. From Connor, start two Brian Thomas Jr. Charbonnet, Jennings, Dobbs, Spears in full PPR. Brian Thomas, Jean. It's not gonna be Spears. So BTJ, Charbonnet. Well, whatever. BTJ, Charbonnet, Jennings, DobBS, Spears pick two.
Jamie Eisenberg
Thomas and Jennings.
Dan Schneier
Definitely BTJ out of this group. I'll go Thomas and Dobbs and half.
Adam Aizer
PPR start to Kraft. Etn, Shakir T. Higgins, Craft and etn agree. I think I want to get Higgins in there if Flacco's playing.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, I consider crafting Higgins, but definitely craft, no matter what.
Jamie Eisenberg
I mean ETN again. Last three times we saw him, really brutal matchups.
Dan Schneier
True.
Jamie Eisenberg
Not that this is a walk in the park.
Adam Aizer
It's not that good. Yeah.
Dan Schneier
Bryce Young, apparently good to go, by the way.
Adam Aizer
Thank you. Bryce Young.
Dan Schneier
Bad news for our boy Tedro.
Jamie Eisenberg
I made a great trade this week. Unbelievable blockbuster deal. What was it? And when our 2020 league office league. I traded 20 teams DST for the Panthers team QB.
Adam Aizer
Nice.
Jamie Eisenberg
What?
Adam Aizer
All right, Friday.
Dan Schneier
Anyone trade a team QB?
Adam Aizer
Let's not get in this rabbit.
Jamie Eisenberg
Listen, I was shocked it was offered to me and within because I only have Baker Mayfield. I only have the the Bucks quarterback. So I was like, I'm just gonna play a lot of quarterbacks. We have no choice. And then somebody offered me. I was like, okay, cool, thanks. I'd rather get six points than nothing.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, you all ready for the fantasy cops? Because they're showing up at your door when we come back on fft.

Oh, here we go baby. Send your league disputes your issues to fantasy footballbsi.com, put fantasy football messy cops in the subject line. This is from Austin. Just out of curiosity, why are you guys so against having players that are out be put in ir? You guys are the only people that do this for a living that I found that are against this. I'm curious as to what the argument is.
Jamie Eisenberg
So not on IR but can be stashed.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, he said he put out in quotes so I guess that means like he's been declared out. I don't know if this is he's inactive or what.
Jamie Eisenberg
So I'll give you I'll give you two scenarios. So I play in two leagues on or playing three, four leagues on sleeper. But two of the leagues have two different policies with this One is you have to be on IR to be placed in an IR spot. The other is if they are ruled out for the week you can place them in an IR spot. The I don't mind that if that's.
Dan Schneier
The that's what he's referring to.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah, they have to be out but.
Dan Schneier
That'S what you mean.
Jamie Eisenberg
We have a lot of gray area with that with how people cheat the system where questionable. They put them in a injury spot, doubtful they put them in injury spot. They make transactions and then we get to the weekend. And you know, the way our leagues work on CBS is if you don't change your lineup, they could sit there.
Adam Aizer
I have a question for you. So this, these sleeper leagues where you can put players who are out in ir, is there a specific designation for these players that are out or is this something that out. The manager, you know, you can't do.
Jamie Eisenberg
It unless they say out. So I'll give you an example. Every week I have Darius Slayton. Every week we get to the weekend, I put Darius Slayton in an IR spot. I pick up somebody for the weekend. I get to Tuesday to make a roster move. It says, you cannot make a roster. You cannot do an AD drop because you have a player who is not no longer listed as out in an IR spot. So it will not let me do anything with my lineup until I remove him or drop somebody or drop.
Dan Schneier
So if a player's ruled out even on Thursday, like they'd have him practice. Like, this happens for me with Pierce on one of my leagues. He keeps. He's been in my ir. Yeah. But the thing is, what I like about it is it does have a. Like a fail safe. Because this happened to my friend in my league, which I find funny. You can leave the guy in your IR spot and he's out, but he's not on ir. But if you get to the Thursday night game and you forget to take him out of your IR spot and he's not no longer on ir, they say you have an illegal roster because it'll let you carry it over to the next week. You just can't make any moves. But then if you carry that through Thursday night, this happened to him, I think, with Aaron Jones or one of these players last week. You then can't make a move the rest of the week because you have an elite.
Adam Aizer
It was a big headache in the FFT open because people were like, I have Aaron Jones on an IR spot. He was. He was activated. I didn't see that before Thursday, this and that. So the commissioner has to, and me in this case has to, I don't know, do a little bit of maneuvering to make the lineups legal. But getting back to this question, I suppose I don't have a big issue with it, but I mean, I kind of do have an issue with it. Because you're. You're trying to imitate the NFL, right? That's kind of the purpose of fantasy football. And in the NFL, you know, the IR is used so you can have your 53 man roster and not have These guys count against it.
Jamie Eisenberg
But you can't say that though because when they get to Sunday, they get to put them on an inactive list and get another 53 man roster.
Adam Aizer
Because they have a practice squad.
Jamie Eisenberg
Correct.
Adam Aizer
But.
Jamie Eisenberg
Well, it's not just practice squad. Do they have. They have players in place for this?
Adam Aizer
That's true. But I mean, I guess that's a good point. They have like a. Basically a bigger bench, but. But there's still a difference between a guy like being on the active roster and being on ir or being. Yeah, like being on IR basically.
Dan Schneier
Right.
Jamie Eisenberg
It's like I don't, I don't have a problem if it's. You're putting players who are out in an IR slash out spot, but they have to be ruled out. And if it starts to become a problem, then it's done. Yeah.
Dan Schneier
All right.
Adam Aizer
Reasonable. Take this is from Anton. All right? He says, hey, J.K. austin and Melvin Chargers running backs, we need you to be the judge and jury for our ten team, ten year dynasty league. Sorry, I don't know if you heard last week's show. We are not the fantasy judge. We are the fantasy cops. But we will do our best.
Jamie Eisenberg
How do we not dress up as fantasy cops?
Dan Schneier
That's.
Adam Aizer
Oh yeah, that would have been good. Last year, an experienced manager took over an orphan team. In week one of this season, he benched his entire starting lineup. In an obvious tanking move, several managers informed him of our league's unwritten rule that you must start a competitive lineup. He complied begrudgingly and has set a proper competitive lineup ever since. But he did not do that in week one.
Jamie Eisenberg
Okay, okay.
Adam Aizer
It's now week eight and his Dumpster Fire team is surprisingly a top contender. Hit Dumpster Fire in quotes. It's a top contender. Due to some savvy trades. He's currently in a four way tie for the final playoff spot. But our tiebreaker is points scored and his total is destroyed by his week one intentional tanking. He's now asking the league for a vote to retroactively restore his correct week one points. His argument that is that it's unfair to punish him for a rule that wasn't officially written down when he joined. So what's the, what's the right call? Should we give him his points back because the rule was unwritten or does he live? But he made a decision that he wasn't even supposed to make in week one, guys. He wasn't even supposed to tank like that.
Jamie Eisenberg
No. If he didn't know the rule, the commissioner Saw this and the league saw this and said, hey, he's tanking. We got to change his lineup. Midway through Sunday. Sunday morning.
Dan Schneier
Right.
Jamie Eisenberg
Like he said, his lineup.
Dan Schneier
This is. Doesn't matter.
Adam Aizer
I think this is on the commissioner though, because he said his lineup and then they told him, no, you can't do this. And now, yes, you can't do this.
Jamie Eisenberg
Not. You get. You got to redo your lineup for week one. We're going to change the scoring.
Adam Aizer
But he's kind of getting screwed by them. Not.
Dan Schneier
Oh, no, no, he's not getting screwed. Yeah, he screwed himself.
Adam Aizer
No, he. Because he was told that he couldn't tank. He want. He went into the year expecting to take.
Jamie Eisenberg
I. I understand that he went into it unknowing. What not fully aware of what the circumstances are when it comes to tanking or not tanking. Sounds like a very Adam commissioner run league. Yeah. Basically where things are supposed to happen, but they're not written down. Yeah. I think just in this case, like you're, you're, you're stuck with it. You're not going back and changing the scoring.
Adam Aizer
No, but you see where he's coming from. He was going to tank.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah, but no way.
Adam Aizer
All right, I thought I have a.
Dan Schneier
Quick take on this though because. And I've been waiting to talk about this with Heath at some point and I will bring this up to him next time I'm on. I'm on his show. This is the exact reason why manage dynasty leagues are a thousand times worse than best ball dynasty leagues. And it's such a difference in dynasty versus redraft or keeper leagues. In my dynasty best ball leagues. You can't just do like I hate when I look at our league, Adam, our bake burger and I see like Casey ryback projected for 14.6 and I look like all your players on your bench. It's very stupid to be able to tank but still keep your roster intact. In a best ball league, if you tank, you have to make that decision knowing the weight of that decision, which is you have to bottom out your roster to get that first pick. And are you going to get those players back? Because in a best ball league it will auto score your best players each week. So you can't have this cheap strategy of like just putting in injured guys. I see you have like inactives and stuff, all sorts of nonsense going on with. With you in the big burger league. I mean, so that's just.
Adam Aizer
It's like.
Dan Schneier
And I partly brought this example up to Barry Adam, but not really no, the point is, like, you shouldn't be able to do that. It just makes it. It's not even that you shouldn't be.
Jamie Eisenberg
Able to do it. It's.
Dan Schneier
It makes the league dumber. In my opinion. In a best ball, you can't do that. Like, why are you bringing better?
Jamie Eisenberg
What? Why are you bringing it up with Heath?
Dan Schneier
Just because he's the Dynasty guy.
Jamie Eisenberg
Oh, I thought you meant because he's the commissioner. No, this is Adam's little baby, so he gets to do what he wants, though.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, true. You're right about that.
Adam Aizer
Oh, I would. My little baby is up for adoption if anybody wants to be the commissioner.
Dan Schneier
I hate it.
Adam Aizer
I hate being commissioner of this league. It's the worst. Oh, my gosh. I'm just glad we raised money for St. Jude, honestly, the saving grace of that pathetic league. I actually don't even like Dynasty anymore. I'm so over it.
Jamie Eisenberg
Wow.
Adam Aizer
It's not even Dynasty. It's deep leagues with crazy big benches, no waiver wire. It is just about health, you know?
Dan Schneier
Not always. My team is 8, 0, 300 points ahead of everyone.
Adam Aizer
Your team is.
Jamie Eisenberg
I'm sure.
Adam Aizer
You know what? This is why you brought this up.
Dan Schneier
Team is healthy.
Jamie Eisenberg
This is so.
Dan Schneier
Even if I had an injury, it wouldn't matter. That team.
Adam Aizer
Dan, this is so disingenuous of you to sit here and talk about this as if it was some reason to talk about Dynasty football other than bragging about your stupid eight. No team. What is your. What is your stupid name now for your team?
Dan Schneier
The best startup draft ever. It really is. I look back at the draft, it's unbelievable. I was getting like, James Cook in round eight, Jameer Gibbs in round three. It's just unbelievable stuff.
Adam Aizer
Okay, so congratulations. But the fact is, when you play in these super deep leagues that have no waiver wire. Yeah, like my big burger. Dynasty league sucks as I drafted poorly. But the other Dynasty league drafted Malik Neighbors, drafted Mike Evans. What am I supposed to do? I. I can't go to the waiver wire and get anybody even close to that. So I. I guess, cannot. I don't like deep leagues. If you want me to be in a deep league with you, don't invite me. I'm not interested. All right, next up, Adam from a.
Dan Schneier
When I go back next week, I'll try to form my impression of you. I will be using this film.
Adam Aizer
Adam from a bagel emporium loving town. All right, Go bagel and po. I'm going to get that tomorrow. He says, dear Ricky, Ronnie Jay and Devon.
Dan Schneier
Wait, wait a second. Bagel import. You, you get your bagels from like a chain bagel place.
Adam Aizer
I wouldn't call it a chain. There's like five of them in Westchester.
Dan Schneier
Okay, that's better.
Adam Aizer
Yeah. Fantasy cops. A seemingly. Okay, all right. This is a whole thing here about free agents being picked up, guys who are dropped and what their keeper value is supposed to be. So I'll skip the first paragraph, but what actually caused the uproar was Malik Neighbors being added. In August 2024, I implemented a rule that if a player was drafted, dropped and added by a new team, they would be treated as a free agent AD and kept in the sixth round. This was because in 2023, Devon Achan was drafted late, dropped and added by a new team when he became a potential round one keeper. So the new rule said he would be a 6th round keeper instead of originally would have been an 8th round keeper. All right, so that's what I have, a free agent. If a guy gets drafted then dropped, then you add him. You can keep him for a six round pick. We never even considered a scenario where a stud like Malik Neighbors is out for the season and dropped to avoid clogging up the ir but then added by a new team to become a 6 round pick. This is the 1 in 7 team in last place who is thrilled to have a leg up on next year. We understand we cannot change this Neighbors or Tyreek or anyone else for them for now. But do we leave the rule as is give an IR exemption? Say players are kept at the earliest possible draft round. What should we do about guys who get picked up mid season?
Jamie Eisenberg
You can't do an IR exception. I don't think that's fair because you want to make sure everybody's playing by the same rules when it comes to IR spots. I have a league like this where we make it that anybody drafted because we do our keeper starting in round eight or later on draft day. So anybody that's drafted in the first seven rounds is not eligible to be kept. Anybody drafted round eight or later and dropped and picked up can be kept. I think if you're. I don't have a problem with this rule. It's just, you know there's going to be scenarios like this where somebody has to drop a player like that and somebody else gets lucky. I, I would think like for me and I don't know what the trade rules are like if I know I have to drop Malik Neighbors, I'm trying to trade him.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, I think it should Just be the. The round the player was drafted in. And I do not like the reset with free agency. I think it just leads to terrible, terrible fantasy.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, this used to happen.
Dan Schneier
What?
Adam Aizer
I agree. I agree.
Dan Schneier
Yeah. Just leads to bad fantasy. It's just a bad rule. We used to have this problem in my auction league where, like, Aaron Foster, it's just, like, people were picked up at the end of a season for one or two bucks, and then you get them for that prayer, and we're like, no, enough of this. It's what they're drafted at.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, but let's say you picked up, I don't know, a free agent who just happened to have a great year. You know, Baker Mayfield last year. Let's just say it was Quentin Johnson. You picked him as a free agent. He had a great year. Next year, he was being drafted in the fifth round or something. Where would you. You have to have a rule with free agents that were not drafted, you know?
Dan Schneier
Right.
Jamie Eisenberg
Why are you punishing people for that, though?
Adam Aizer
No, what round. What round do you keep them in? That's all I'm saying.
Jamie Eisenberg
Last round.
Adam Aizer
Last round. Okay.
Jamie Eisenberg
I mean, if you're trying to. If you're trying to punish. If you're trying to punish people, in essence, for not, you know, for dropping any players that were drafted early and not giving people the benefit to pick them up. You can't punish people that got somebody off waivers and all of a sudden change their value. If their value is pre draft, their value is pre draft, that's fine.
Adam Aizer
I just. I don't play in any keeper leagues like that, so I was just curious what you. What you did. All right, thank you very much. Let's do some. What do you think, Dan? I'll let you choose. Apple Podcasts or Spotify?
Dan Schneier
Let's give Spotify their due. Dag. We always go to Apple.
Adam Aizer
Spotify's next. Then we'll do Apple podcast questions. Angela needs a flex. Jordan Addison, Kareem Hunt, or Woody Marks? It is standard scoring.
Dan Schneier
Ooh, Hunt.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yep.
Adam Aizer
Start two of these from Paco here. Ken Walker. Bam Knight or David Montgomery?
Dan Schneier
Walker Montgomery for me.
Jamie Eisenberg
Knight Montgomery for me.
Adam Aizer
Knight's my favorite of these three. Jamie, who's your favorite?
Jamie Eisenberg
Night.
Adam Aizer
Night.
Dan Schneier
I'm not feeling Knight this week, but maybe wrong on that. Yeah, I guess Walker's hard to be in on either.
Adam Aizer
Dan gave us a. I'll have a crab juice there. Of course. I know you don't get. I know. Don't worry about it.
Dan Schneier
What's that from?
Adam Aizer
Simpsons.
Dan Schneier
The Simpsons.
Adam Aizer
Wow.
Dan Schneier
Throwback.
Adam Aizer
All right, this is from cheeky law boy. Assuming Stevenson is out, who would you start? Travion Henderson or Spears Henderson.
Dan Schneier
Henderson, given the Ramandre situation.
Adam Aizer
Oh, look at this blockbuster trade from Troy. Should I trade Devon Achan and Jackson Smith and Jigba for Bijan Robinson, Rashad White and Garrett Wilson.
Dan Schneier
JSN for Bijan White and Wilson. Wow. I think I rather agent A. Chan and JSN too.
Adam Aizer
I had an. All right, this is. Let's see what this is.
Jamie Eisenberg
I knew by the way, the minute I traded Trevion Henderson, something good would happen.
Adam Aizer
You traded him?
Dan Schneier
What'd you get for him?
Jamie Eisenberg
John Taylor.
Adam Aizer
Oh, right, right. That was what dynasty? What's the trade dynasty?
Jamie Eisenberg
I traded Henderson a 2027 first and a 2027 second for Taylor in a 2027 third.
Dan Schneier
I love that trade for you.
Adam Aizer
Jay Tupa wants to know if he should trade Breeze hall and Kamani Vidal for Nico Collins.
Dan Schneier
I wouldn't.
Jamie Eisenberg
What is it? I'm sorry.
Dan Schneier
Hall and Videl for Nico. I would not do that.
Jamie Eisenberg
You can't trade Breeze hall until the trade deadline passes. If he goes to the Chiefs, he just becomes an absolute monster.
Dan Schneier
There's just a lot of options that you get that would be bad. You can't. It's not a good time to trade him.
Adam Aizer
Okay, a question from Beto. Should I be looking to trade anyone on my team for strength at another position like quarterback, or am I good? He's got Bo Nix, Puka. Wow. Puka. Jsn Abuka and Sutton Jacobs, Genti, Jalen Warren and Dowdle Tucker Kraft. This team is loaded. Would you trade anyone for an upgraded. I would say either RB2 or quarterback.
Jamie Eisenberg
I mean, RB2, like you're gonna get better than Genti or Jalen Warren.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, I think you could. I mean, I'm not quite as high on genty as you guys might be.
Dan Schneier
I'm not high in Genti at all.
Adam Aizer
No, they're both.
Jamie Eisenberg
But I mean as an RB2, I'm.
Adam Aizer
Saying to get another RB1 basically, is what I'm saying.
Jamie Eisenberg
I guess. I mean like you, if it's a three receiver league, I'm. I'm not trading one of those receivers.
Adam Aizer
No, but if it's a two receiver league, I'd think about trading.
Jamie Eisenberg
Sutton will be the one I'd be selling right now or a booker. Just because Abuka. We don't know when Godwin comes back, does he take a slight hit? Sutton slots by week coming. I suddenly be the easy one to shop.
Adam Aizer
Nah. Well, but he's coming off a bad game. That's the problem. Like, would you trade.
Jamie Eisenberg
I mean, if you're trying to upgrade, you're probably gonna have to package Sutton and one of Genti or Warren to get something great.
Adam Aizer
Oh, that's true. Would you trade JSN for Christian McCaffrey in this situation?
Dan Schneier
Yes.
Jamie Eisenberg
Okay.
Adam Aizer
All right, thanks. I'll do one more from Spotify. Here it is from. We'll do two more. We'll do from Chris, start two and half ppr. Zach Charbonnet, Juwan Jennings, Rico Dowdle, Burchard Smith and not Travis Hunter. Now Charbonnet, Jennings, Dowdle, Burchard Smith, start two and a half ppr.
Jamie Eisenberg
Charbonnet and Dowdle.
Adam Aizer
I do feel like Charbonnet is going to score, but I still. It's too risky for me. I'm gonna go Jennings and Dowdle.
Dan Schneier
Jennings is definitely in the mix for. Is in there for me. I think Jennings and Charbonnet for me.
Adam Aizer
Totally get it.
Dan Schneier
All right.
Adam Aizer
From Mario starter, sit two in full ppr. Swift, Odunze, Olave, T. Higgins.
Jamie Eisenberg
The Bears.
Adam Aizer
The Bears.
Dan Schneier
Dunes.
Jamie Eisenberg
I for sure.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, I like Swift. Dunes ain't Swift.
Adam Aizer
Dan, do you know what the Bears is?
Dan Schneier
Yeah, it's. It's the SNL stuff. Oh.
Adam Aizer
Someone emailed and said, does Dan know who Tina Turner is?
Dan Schneier
Not really. No. I know like, Ike and Tina Turner type thing.
Adam Aizer
Oh, that's her.
Dan Schneier
Yeah. Yeah. But I don't really know who she is. Like, I just know that from the lore of, like, the I can Tina Turner situation.
Adam Aizer
Someone wanted me to say from like an enemy.
Dan Schneier
I think I just know it from like an Eminem lyric or something.
Adam Aizer
Oh, okay. You're simply the wish. Someone wanted me to.
Dan Schneier
She a singer or what was she?
Adam Aizer
Yeah, amazing singer.
Dan Schneier
Okay. What was Ike? He was just the husband.
Adam Aizer
He was the husband in this and sang with her.
Dan Schneier
They.
Adam Aizer
They were a musical duo.
Dan Schneier
Okay.
Adam Aizer
He also is pretty bad man. Not gonna get.
Dan Schneier
No, I know he's a bad man.
Adam Aizer
Yeah. Not. Not a good.
Dan Schneier
Yeah.
Adam Aizer
All right. From Carlito's Way Brown, week nine. I need a running back.
Dan Schneier
Never saw Carlito's Way.
Adam Aizer
I still care a little bit of it.
Dan Schneier
Don't even know what it's about.
Jamie Eisenberg
It's good.
Adam Aizer
Yeah. It seemed like a stupid movie, the title. I. I was like, this is going to be dumb, but it's actually pretty good. Who would you pick up? Spears, Algier Manangai or P. Ryan for this week Only Spears.
Jamie Eisenberg
I think Spears because it's twofold. Like, there's a Chance Pollard gets traded, which would help his value. I don't know how much, but it'll help it. I do like Managai this week as sort of a sneaky play just because the Bengals have given up a lot of production to running backs and duos as well. But I think Spears is just safer.
Adam Aizer
All right, this is from Steve. Steve plays trumpet 12 team PPR. I just got Kareem Hunt off waivers and recently traded for Lamar Jackson. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Dan Schneier
I lost.
Adam Aizer
Scatter Boo. All right, I need to cut someone. Okay. See, please don't ask Thursday questions. I do appreciate very much the review, but please don't ask Thursday questions. Hopefully you cut. Oh, Nicks. I guess.
Jamie Eisenberg
Please don't ask Thursday questions. I will answer them without telling you.
Adam Aizer
What the question I'm trying to. Yeah, I'm sorry. All right, this is from Mikey. This is a Travis Hunter question. Skipping it. I don't think we have any. Do we have any left, Josh, that are like, good.
Dan Schneier
Wow. No judging.
Adam Aizer
No, it was a good question. But he traded for Travis Hunter. I'm not going to.
Dan Schneier
I'm only kidding. Yeah. Who does Miami have this week?
Adam Aizer
All right, this. Here's the question. Would you trade Swift for Sutton in a 14 team full PPR league?
Jamie Eisenberg
I'd rather have Swift, yeah. It.
Dan Schneier
We're at the point where I would rather have Swift, too. Swift isn't even doing the best job processing, but they're creating such big holes for him.
Adam Aizer
Corrupt commission wants to know rest of season, would you rather have the Broncos DST or the Texans dst.
Dan Schneier
Broncos.
Jamie Eisenberg
I'm with you. But you have to deal with the bye week still for Denver, so.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, I mean, I feel like the Texans DST has been a lot better and they've got Green Bay, Jacksonville and Kansas City. Denver has Green Bay, Jacksonville and Kansas City in the fantasy championship. In the fantasy playoffs. The Texans, I would not say they've been a lot better. I think they've been marginally better. Texans have Arizona, Las Vegas and the Chargers, but before that they have Buffalo, Indianapolis and Kansas City.
Jamie Eisenberg
So how about just dream the best options when you get there?
Adam Aizer
Okay, fair enough. All right, let's finish up with some YouTube questions here. Johnny Airport. You have. You are a comedian. Is incredible.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, well, he's half the show. He's like part of the show at this point.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yeah.
Adam Aizer
Oh, look at that. That's a good. That's Homer Simpson.
Dan Schneier
Quick, quick, funny mailbag story. Short one for me. Even for me.
Adam Aizer
All right, but go, dang, go with Swift over Montgomery. Go ahead, Dave. Jan. Dan.
Dan Schneier
Last weekend or last week, I was playing poker at a casino for the first time in like two or three years.
Jamie Eisenberg
That's why you missed the show?
Dan Schneier
No, this was on Saturday. And I'm sitting there minding my own business, but like I'm striking up a conversation with the guy to my right, not about fantasy football. I forgot what we were talking about. And out of nowhere, across the table, somebody says, I know you. You know that feeling you get when somebody tells you that they know you and you look over and you do never, never reckon seen this person before. You don't recognize them. It's like, at least for me, it's like a little bit of a pit in the stomach feeling like, oh, God, where do you know me from? This is, this is not good. He's like, I know you. I really. And I'm like, I, I don't know you. And then I look and I looked and he's has his iPad at the poker table. I look down because he hits pause on it. So it like diverts my attention to it. And it's you two on Mailbag. He's watching Mailbag from that day, from Friday, from the day before. He's like, I know you. You're Dan Schneier, aren't you? Yes. Watching Mailbag at the table does not miss an episode. I want to shout out Dixit. He's the man, big fan of the show. And I told him I give him a shout out. And his daughter listens to the show too. Doesn't miss an episode. It was just so cool to see. Like at first I'm like, oh God, where do you know me from? Then he's like, I know you. I recognize the voice. And now I put the two, two together. We played like three or four handed PLO for like two hours. And he is a pro player, so he dominated me.
Adam Aizer
Oh, wow.
Dan Schneier
I actually held my own in that night. But he would kill me over time.
Adam Aizer
Nice. Yeah. Dan wasn't really at the Toothpick Factory.
Dan Schneier
This was Saturday. Let's see.
Adam Aizer
Sit.
Jamie Eisenberg
Or are you wearing your breath strip?
Dan Schneier
No, I, I, you know, I haven't debuted it yet in public outside of. I played tennis with it one time last weekend, which was really nice for tennis and I will be wearing it next year when me and Adam play tennis. I stand by that. Or I will get surgery to fix this issue. One of the two will happen. You can really be like that second set would have been a lot different, I think with this nose strip On.
Adam Aizer
Yeah, I'm sure.
Jamie Eisenberg
Wow. No strip reason why Dan struggled.
Dan Schneier
Yeah.
Adam Aizer
I can better play a lot, dude, because I. I am going to.
Dan Schneier
Yeah.
Adam Aizer
I've had a moment in my life where I just said, I'm so tired of not being good at anything. I'm so tired of it.
Dan Schneier
And.
Adam Aizer
And then when football season is over, I'm going to dedicate a lot of time, a lot of time to getting good at tennis. I'm going to pronate on my serve. I'm going to be. I'm going to, like, take. This is going to be my life's obsession. I am going to be good at something. You play paddle ball?
Dan Schneier
I haven't, but I heard it's fun.
Adam Aizer
It's very fun. Very fun.
Dan Schneier
I would rank the sports. I've heard. Paddles fun. Tennis is amazing. Paddle's fun. I'm gonna go all the way down and offend a lot of people with this, but I just think pickleball sucks.
Adam Aizer
No, pickleball is good.
Dan Schneier
Like, it's fine for what it is, but, A, there's just no workout involved. B, I want to put, like, singles. Pickleball is fun. You can't find anyone who wants to play singles pickleball where you actually move around and can make shots.
Adam Aizer
Pickleball and paddleball. That's not the point of them. Paddleball, you're moving a lot more than pickleball, but a lot more. A lot more.
Dan Schneier
From what I've seen. I've seen videos.
Adam Aizer
They're social. And for pickleball, I think it's good for. For, like, older people who can't run around as much.
Dan Schneier
It's good for older people.
Adam Aizer
Here. All right, From Jonathan, start one in PPR. Brian Thomas Jr. Jordan Addison or Sutton.
Jamie Eisenberg
Brian Thomas Jr.
Dan Schneier
I guess BTJ from Just for the upside, effortless shots.
Adam Aizer
Do I deal from strength at wide receiver to add a running back. I have Henry Knight, Hunt and Tutin. I have rice pickens BTG. Yeah, rice pickens, BTJ, Abuka and TMac. Yeah.
Jamie Eisenberg
Yep.
Adam Aizer
Dan, did you wear a breathe strip on your nose because the casino police roughed you up?
Dan Schneier
No, it's because I can't breathe, Elliot. I cannot breathe. And it's crazy when you. When you're someone like me who cannot breathe and has a full deviated septum, you try one of these things. I literally feel that yesterday I didn't wear it for the first like. And I didn't wear it all day. It was like I couldn't breathe anymore. I. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I'm now addicted to these things. I'm addicted to these brief strips.
Adam Aizer
All right, Lou Sassle says I recognize Dan from the no strips commercial. Parker Washington, DJ Moore, Rico.
Dan Schneier
Sponsor them to sponsor us.
Adam Aizer
So I stay.
Dan Schneier
I don't have to pay for it anymore.
Adam Aizer
Parker Washington, DJ Moore, Rico Dowdle, Woody Marks or Jordan Mason. Half ppr.
Jamie Eisenberg
Let's go with Give me.
Adam Aizer
Give me more.
Dan Schneier
More.
Adam Aizer
I think so. More dowdle for me.
Jamie Eisenberg
I'm going with.
Dan Schneier
I don't like anything.
Adam Aizer
Jamie likes Woody Marks this week.
Dan Schneier
I hope you're right. I would go DJ more because it's half pbr.
Adam Aizer
Yeah. Start a running back.
Jamie Eisenberg
Andre officially ruled out.
Adam Aizer
Who?
Jamie Eisenberg
Ramandre Stevenson.
Dan Schneier
Whoa.
Adam Aizer
Put him in an IR spot. All right, David wants to know. Start a running back in a flex. Woody Marks, R.J. harvey, Brashard Smith or Jacoby Myers.
Jamie Eisenberg
I would go with Woody Marks and Jacoby Myers.
Dan Schneier
Marks of the backs for sure. And then I don't think you can play any of those other backs over Myers. I mean, Harvey may have more upside, but it's still going Myers, Popinski, or.
Adam Aizer
Maybe it's Johnny Airport. I'm sorry, someone said they. You were recognized from your. Your barrel chestedness. Anthony says pick one in ppr.
Dan Schneier
Keisha, I will never retire this shirt.
Adam Aizer
K. Sean Booty. Darnell Mooney. Parker Washington.
Jamie Eisenberg
Parker Washington.
Dan Schneier
Yeah, Parker for sure. Oh, no, I'm sorry. I'm going booty. I didn't see him up top. I will just play booty for sure over those.
Adam Aizer
Okay, If London's out, I think I go Mooney Marks. Bam.
Dan Schneier
Knight is back.
Adam Aizer
Tony Pollard.
Dan Schneier
Bam. Bam. Yeah, one of those.
Adam Aizer
Tyler Algier, Diami Brown, Jalen Coker or Devin Singletary. We have to sit one of them.
Jamie Eisenberg
I'd say that Algerian.
Dan Schneier
No, I'd say poker, not Coker. For me alone. Alger Singletary. I guess I'll go Algeria.
Adam Aizer
All right, a few more here. Would you drop Piersol for Myers ppr?
Dan Schneier
No.
Jamie Eisenberg
I would simply because if Myers gets traded, his value could exponentially increase.
Adam Aizer
And pick one. Kareem Hunt. Rico Dowdle. Bam Knight.
Dan Schneier
PPR hunt.
Jamie Eisenberg
Sure. Make it easy.
Adam Aizer
Okay, that is. That's it for the show.
Dan Schneier
Bagging.
Adam Aizer
Thanks, everybody.
Dan Schneier
Yeah.
Adam Aizer
Did you have something to say, Dan?
Dan Schneier
I'm sorry, no. She said we're bagging.
Adam Aizer
Oh, we're bagging. We sure are. Go trick or treat. Let's go trick or treating. And, well, enjoy watching. I'm excited.
Jamie Eisenberg
Dan says he goes to a strip club. It's an entirely different meeting.
Adam Aizer
They just sit around and breathe all the time.
Dan Schneier
I'm telling you, man, it helps. Don't keep bringing up this picture.
Adam Aizer
I mean, look at the rest of you. The hair.
Dan Schneier
The hair was. It was a bad hair day.
Jamie Eisenberg
Honestly, it was like somebody just drew something on your nose. I didn't know what it was.
Dan Schneier
It was a bad hair day.
Jamie Eisenberg
I was like, why is he wearing a nose strip?
Dan Schneier
It helps me breathe.
Adam Aizer
Good. I'm excited for you. This is good stuff. I hope it helps you.
Dan Schneier
I didn't realize how bad it was until I tried this and then went to the doctor and he's like, yeah, you need to get surgery. I don't know if I want that right now.
Adam Aizer
Surgery.
Dan Schneier
Wow. Yeah. Well, it's a fully deviated se.
Adam Aizer
Okay. All right. This is boring. Let's finish the show.
Dan Schneier
Very boring.
Adam Aizer
Talk to you on Sunday morning at 11:00am Eastern. See you later.
Dan Schneier
Paramount podcasts now streaming on Paramount Plus.
Adam Aizer
Brandon was the full package. I felt like I met my guy. Just stop.
Jamie Eisenberg
Stop just talking. God.
Dan Schneier
But he's not even close to the.
Adam Aizer
Person that I thought he was. When you do break up with Brandon, that is when stalking begins. I just knew something horrific was about to happen.
Dan Schneier
I saw the devil in his eyes. We're gonna tell everyone what he did.
Adam Aizer

They're not afraid to hot-take candy or pumpkin pie, poke fun at dad jokes, or go off on tangents about real-life breathing struggles. Listener engagement is strong throughout—with rapid-fire lineup help, serious dynasty talk, and copious laughs.
For those seeking critical advice, league wisdom, and pod camaraderie, this episode delivers a little bit of everything—and a clear reminder: clarify your league rules, check your IR spots, and keep those pumpkin pies far away from Adam Aizer.
