This is fantasy football today from CBS Sports. What a play. Can you believe this? No, I can't.
D
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
B
Off to the races and he stays at his feet.
C
This is gonna go the distance.
B
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath and it. It is mail bag time. Your Week 16 bag, as Dan would say. Welcome to the show. It's fantasy football today presented by BetMGM. Make it legendary. And we're here on Friday afternoon if you're listening on Saturday. Have a great weekend.
C
Let's.
B
Let's have a fun weekend, everybody. Let's party. Let's watch some football. College football, NFL, it's all over the place. Saturday and Sunday going to be a football. Oh, and Friday night football filled weekend. Dan, what's up?
E
Not much, man.
C
I'm just recovering from last night. I told you about a pre show, but just a weird feeling to be in a league where like my. My most expensive league, the one I somewhat care the most about just based on that. And I was first in points by 231 in the regular season. Got my bye week and now matched up against Stafford, Puka and JSN all on one team. It's almost like, like I was telling Adam, like, I guess I'm done. Like I guess the season's over. I. On Thursday. I don't, I don't. I don't know physically, like looking at the projection, I'm like, is there any world where I can make a comeback? Probably not.
B
No, there isn't. You're done. You're absolutely done. I said this on Friday morning. Best game of Puka's career. Like you knew he was going to have a good game, but best game of Puka's career. Also didn't mention this. The Seahawks lost three defensive backs during that game. A lot of it was late, but.
E
Yeah, it didn't matter.
B
No, I mean it may have mattered on the last touchdown, you never know.
C
But those players. The most tilting part by far was just the fact that like that lateral led to so many more fantasy points that over time was so flooded with points. Crazy.
B
Well, it was fun to watch at the very least.
C
Yeah, it was great. If you didn't have. You weren't sweating.
B
Jamie and I have a fun debate that we've been having off the air that we will have in a moment. We don't have a ton of news yet, but hopefully some will trickle in.
E
Let's get one.
B
Yeah, I saw that. We'll get to that teaser. Let's get to some questions here, and let's start with.
C
Let's see.
B
Yo, Adrian. You know what that's from Dan?
C
Yeah. I think it's from Rocky, but it is.
B
Yeah. Hertz or May.
C
Rocky one. Is that from.
E
I am going with.
C
I'm gonna go with Jalen Hurts. Love the matchup. Let it. Let it ride. Yeah.
E
And especially if you can't go Yo, Adrian. And ask a Eagles question.
B
That's true. Loveland Waller or Pitts.
C
I don't think. I don't think you can bench pits. Regardless of it, London plays or not.
E
Agreed.
C
All right.
B
Teterell McMillan or Michael Wilson?
E
It's so dependent on Harrison.
C
Yeah.
E
Wilson without Harrison. Tetero with Harrison.
C
Just trying to see the latest on the Harrison injury. I guess we don't have anything just yet. Limited Wednesday, Thursday. Okay. I think I'm still gonna go Wilson. I.
E
He's.
C
I've said this before on btb, but it's like he's the only. He's one of two players who had a wide receiver one week this season. He can win you the week. I want to try. It's my fantasy. Semis. I want to go for the upside.
B
He's one of two players who's had multiple wide receivers.
C
Multiple. Sorry. Wide receiver. One finishes this year. Yeah.
B
Who was the other one? Puka.
C
It's him. And it was not Puka. It's Drake London.
B
Well, it could be now.
C
It may be Buka.
E
Yeah.
B
Now probably. I don't know if Pukas. Pukas probably had a wide receiver one.
C
Week, but I'm not sure for this one. Yeah.
B
Anita Flex. This is a nice screen name here at Vomit Duty.
C
You didn't have to read it.
B
My kids would be cracking up right now. Vomit duty. Need a running back and a flex.
E
A lot of people are calling Colby Parkinson's performance last night.
C
Yeah.
E
Yeah.
B
I mean, oh, my God.
C
So many people started Kobe Parkinson across the fantasy landscape. Incredible.
B
Is it incredible?
E
Adam was on an apology tour this morning.
B
Didn't feel.
E
Who was Adam? Yeah. Yeah.
C
Five leagues. Once he put that tweet out, everyone's like, I guess I got to change my lineup. You really are to blame for a lot of losing lineups this weekend.
B
All right, we need a running back at a flex for vomit duty.
E
And you know the reason that you're losing is because Adam's fault. He should apologize to you.
C
It's because Adam's. What?
E
It's Adam's fault? Yeah.
C
Yeah. It just Trickles down across the board. I agree.
E
Right.
B
All right. Dowdle, Henry Swift Dattle Henry Swift. Pick a running back.
E
Henry.
C
It's Henry. I can see a big game still from Swift, but I wouldn't bench Henry in the spot.
B
Pick a flex. Dowdle Swift, Abuka, Adonai, Mitchell, Addison.
C
Going Swift, but it's full ppr. It's the only thing that troubles me. I'm still gonna go Swift.
B
Dst, Vikings, Chiefs or Bills?
C
Oh, Bills.
E
Bills. Yeah.
C
All right. Bills are fun this week.
B
Emmanuel Wilson or Jawar Jordan Joar.
C
I said, well, let's see what happens.
E
With Woody Marks is that practice he was working off to the side but he is a practicer today. So we'll see what that status report is Jacobs we're going to find out tomorrow. So you'll have the answer. If Jacob out.
B
I'm not sure that they go. I think Nick Chubb is going to be a real thorn in Joa Jordan side.
E
Well, I mean, listen, you know, Saturday, if, if Josh Jacobs is out, you're playing Wilson. Forget about the Houston situation.
B
If Josh Jacobs is in, I can I guess Jordan.
E
I don't know. If Josh Jacobs in. You take a chance on Jordan.
B
Yeah, but if Jacobs and Marks are both playing, then I think I go.
E
I go pick up estimate. Yeah, there's someone you and I'll tell you what, forget it. If you can't get estimate, I go play Evan hall over both these guys. Let me ask you, better than both.
C
Of them, what your feel is Jamie and Adam this week just having gone through it with the estimate hole because obviously the matchup is great. It's a spot where we think we can get some like someone to help us win our matchup in fantasy. But do you have a feel on either of those two?
E
I mean, I've been leaning estimate the entire time just based on how the split workload, production, everything unfolded after Devin Neal's injury. Okay, they're both going to play. We had this discussion Friday morning. Like if you were to say right now one guy is going to get the lion's share of the work and even if it's maybe 55, 45, you know, percent of the work. I would put that guy probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 to 20 in my rankings. Like there's just. So They've given up 14 total touchdowns to running back since Quentin Williams has been gone 14 touchdowns. Both guys could be good.
B
Yeah, that's great. The thing is, they actually haven't really been that bad per carry. If you look at etn. No, I don't really care either, but team guys aren't running all over the Jets. If you look at last week, for example, ETN had three receiving touchdowns. So they are. Yeah, they're giving on the year 23 touchdowns to running backs, eight receiving and 15 rushing. But the Quinn and Williams thing, it's not like their run defense has fallen apart either. They suck and they give up a ton of touchdowns. But I, I don't, I don't really want to trust that. I agree with Jamie. If they, if it was just estimate, then yeah, he'd be in like the Marco cart.
C
He's not.
B
I don't think he's good. I don't know that he's ever had a 15 yard run in his career. He's big and slow, has no breakaway ability.
C
Oh man. I feel.
E
What do you have?
C
I do not.
E
Yard catch last week.
C
Yeah, he did. And he looked pretty explosive on that cat.
B
He is not.
C
I do not at all.
B
I don't know how you could pot. He ran like a 4, 6 something.
E
I had such a great joke, well with Jacob yesterday that Dave was like belly laughing on the air or 7 1. Jake Jacob had SMA as a start for our start segment for running backs.
C
Okay.
E
And he said he was like what he saw from on film. And I said, did you fast forward it so I actually look like he was running at normal speed.
C
I gonna, I'm gonna challenge this, this idea of estimate. Yeah, he's definitely not a straight line runner. He's not a 40 yard dash guy by any means. He's a one of this. We've had these types of players in the NFL that have had success. He's a Ramandre Stevenson type speed, which is still prime. Ramandre Stevenson burst, burst deep. It's in that 0 to 20 yard range. Good stop and start ability was great after contact at Notre Dame. One of the best in the nation. I like to tape in Notre Dame. He, he didn't make it with Sean Payton. I think he's a clearly more talented runner with more explosiveness than Evan Hall. Evan hall was like a pass protecting specialist at, at Northwestern who had some stop and start ability and ability to cut. But I, I would take. I think estimate is definitely a better player. I think you'll be surprised, Adam, with estimate. You'll be surprised at the speed we'll.
B
Call it pretty quickly. He was off the Broncos. Okay. Like I know they didn't keep around. His longest run of his career is 21 yards. He has one wrong. One run longer than does he have in his career. Career 82.
E
Yeah.
C
It's not like. And nobody. Did anyone run for any yards with the Broncos last year in that scheme? Not really. Javante Williams.
B
Guys, he is this. He's the slowest. He might be the slowest running back.
C
The slowest running back.
B
In the end, he's one of the slowest running backs.
C
Evan Hole is slower than him on his own.
B
I'm fine. I don't like Evan Hall.
E
You're not.
B
SMA is super slow.
E
Okay. If they were playing a normal defense, this would not even be a conversation. If there was a. And the other side of this there was any question about who the starter is. There would be no question.
C
Yeah.
E
This is just such a great opportunity. The Saints. The Saints. The Saints. As bad as they've been this season. Our home favorites.
B
Yeah.
E
Holds. And Vegas is correct. They will be playing with a lead.
C
Right.
E
Who do you think will be getting the ball late in the game? I think it's going to be estimated. All right.
C
Me too.
B
Evan. I'm sorry, I don't mean to make it all about 40 yard dash but Evan hall ran a 447 and Audrey SMA ran a 47 1. I'm gonna go.
C
I think Evan Hole's probably faster.
B
Yeah. That's a big enough guy.
C
If we're talking strai line speed. That was a bad take by me. Well, clearly based on that. But we're not. Estimate's not winning with straight line speed.
B
He's not winning.
C
You're not gonna see him go a 50 yard touchdown running. I know. Season long basis.
B
Yeah, he's a. He's a good gamble this week. I, I agree. I mean there's a lot to watch there.
C
He's got a little bit of burst. He's got yards after contactability and.
E
And let's. Let's tie it into some real life situations. So like if I was in Dan's spot and I probably am in a couple leagues where I'm down big, I don't know if I played all three of those guys but. And I'm debating right now, this is gonna sound crazy but like Ashton Genti who's been miserable versus estimate and the potential of a two touchdown game for him. Like I'm probably going sma to see if I could swing for the fences.
C
Make up that Genti does nothing anymore. Like we'll get some gadgets to save you a little bit but other than that you're not getting much from. I like that. Take all right.
B
Some more YouTube stuff here. PPR, Christian Watson, Brian Thomas Jr. Jalen Waddle, Chris Godwin. Pick two.
E
Watson. And I'll reluctantly say waddle as the second one.
C
Watson.
E
Wow.
C
I. I don't even know if he's. Are we sure he's gonna play?
B
Well, obviously he has to play.
C
Okay. We're saying if he plays again, you'll know tomorrow. Would you say Waddle was your second one?
E
Yeah. Yeah.
C
You don't want BTJ in Denver. Yeah. And I don't want Goblin.
E
Okay.
C
I guess so. Hoping yours can get the ball to him.
B
Okay. Damn. What color is my shirt?
C
Rhett.
B
Yeah. Thank you. I don't know why.
C
James.
B
It's orange.
C
Jamie called that orange.
B
He's Jamie's.
E
I did not say orange. You.
B
You hinted that it was orange.
E
No, no, no, no. Somebody in the chat at the start of our show said, I know why they're late. Adam's looking for his orange shirt. And I said, that's the perfect way to open the show.
B
I have a red shirt on. All right.
C
It looks closer to, like, pink than it is orange, but it's not pink either.
B
I pick four here.
E
Well, Adam, let's see. Can you tell what color Dan shirt is?
C
Yeah.
B
Tie dye. Yeah, but with a pink. Pink base, basically.
E
Wow, look at you. Little pink base, Maybe purple.
C
I don't know.
E
Colorblind stuff is made up by you.
C
No, I, I. I'm actually colorblind, legally.
B
Oh, wow.
C
Yeah. I didn't know you were too. Adam. It sucks for me. I mean, it's not as bad. Like, people don't. I think people who aren't colorblind or aren't aware of people who are colorblind don't really know what it is. It's not like I can't. Like, I could see. I'm. So what I am is there's different kinds of color. I'm red, green, colorblind, whatever that means. So what I can see, like, oh, that's red. Like, Adam shirts red. I'm not like, that's green. But, like, for example, I play poker a lot, and the red chips and the green chips are a lot of times in play, and I'll just always have, like, a green chip in my red stack or a red chip in my green stack. And I'm not like, so. And someone's like, dude, you got this. And I'm like, oh. Like, so when they're together, it's when I had trouble with it, when the colors are together.
B
All right, let's try Something here. Let's try something real quick.
E
Okay.
C
Yeah, this is a problem for me. These types of things.
B
Can you see the. Okay, you know, let me answer this question real quick so we can get this.
C
It's a rough.
B
We can get rid of this. Choose four. We're definitely going Evans. So choose three. Michael Wilson, Drake, London, Rasheed Rice, Brian Thomas Jr. Jacoby. Myers lad McConkey, Cortland, Sutton.
E
Wow, that's a hell of a list. You say Evans for sure. I mean, if actually Wilson. And if Wilson without Harrison and Rice is in, those would be my two.
C
Right, But Rice is probably out.
E
Right.
B
I think I might go Evans over Rice, but fair ranking.
C
Ranking these. Ranking these as if they're all playing. Let's do that. I'll do that. Would be. Let's say I'm ranking these as if they're all playing and Harrison sitting out. I probably have Wilson one.
E
Wilson's easily one.
C
Yeah, well, Evans to London or no Rice. Nah, Evans to London, then Rice, then BTJ.
B
Oh, then Sutton. Sutton would be fifth.
C
Oh, yeah.
B
So Wilson is. If Marvin Harrison Jr. Plays, you go Sutton, you don't go with the Jaguars guys, and you don't go with McConkey.
E
Okay. Yeah. The four that are easy, it's Evans and Sutton. And then if Rice is in. Yes. If London's in. Yes. If. I'm sorry, wait. If. But put the names back up. Evans is in, Sutton's in, Wilson without Harrison would be in, and then London would be in.
B
No, but Sutton. Sutton. You're saying Sutton's in, But you'd start Rice over Sutton, wouldn't you?
E
I don't think Rice is playing.
B
Okay, fine. All right. Can you see the gap in the ring here, Dan?
C
The gap in the ring.
B
I see. I don't know what the gap means. Like, I see. I don't even know what that means. Red dots, right?
C
I'd see it. Yeah. You see a blob of. Of colors that look pretty similar to me.
B
Oh, really? I see red.
C
I could see red and green to an extent.
B
But, like, Jamie, what does this look.
E
Like to you, the Texas A and M victory?
C
Is this supposed to look like something.
B
You'Re supposed to be able to see a gap in the ring? I don't see a gap in the ring.
E
I believe the gap is the red.
B
Oh, there's a little bit of a gap in the red circle. Oh, I Like on the top, like, on the left side.
C
I do not.
B
At like, 9:00 o', clock, basically.
C
I'm not sure if I even See a red circle in there?
B
You see that, Jamie? They see that gap.
E
I just see the red, like backwards.
B
C. Okay, so you see a gap. Yeah.
C
Wow, this is terrible.
B
All right, thanks.
E
I wonder.
C
I can't get anything right.
B
All right, we're gonna take a break here. Come back with some news items. And Jamie and I have a contest. I think we'll save that for later. And your emails. We'll be right back. I'm all lost here. We'll be right back on fantasy football today.
E

Start or sit, draft or bust, buy or sell. But you don't have to pick because nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company. They're one of America's largest financial services companies, too. Insurance and financial services. Game changer for your insurance and financial needs. Nationwide is on your side. Nationwide Investment Services Corporation Member FINRA Columbus, Ohio we're back. So Garrett Wilson's out for the season and Jamie mentioned that Woody Marks was seen at practice. Is there anything else, Jamie?
E
David Joku did not practice again today, so it looks like he's out. Same with Dylan Sampson. Trying to see if there's a T. Higgins update while we look for that.
C
Adam, fun note. Two leagues this week. Jamie and I are playing in the semi finals and we're on opposite sides of the bracket. So there is a possibility that Jamie and I could be playing in a championship game next week. There are two possibilities for it, actually. He's a new dynasty league that we open this year and I think the other one is the super flex league. Pretty sure.
E
I believe in Heath's dynasty league. I might be playing against Puka and jsn.
C
Ugh, I hate to hear that. I guess that's over then.
E
And I started Parkinson. It's a tight end premium league, so.
C
All right, well, I guess we're done with that one. We have a chance in the other one, though.
B
Serious question. How do you drive Dan and Adam if you're a red green color? Mine, it's a. It's. It's weird. What is it? Like? How would you.
E
It just goes slow at every light.
B
How would you describe it?
C
So again, like if you see a stop light, I can see what you like. It stands out. That's red, that's green.
B
Right?
E
Right.
C
It's just a matter of if they're together. Like if red and green were at the same time and they were right next to each other sideways, maybe I would have trouble with it. I probably would. So I could see the difference. You know, I have a friend. This brings up something weird I've wanted to bring up on the show for a while. Crazy. Not weird.
B
Crazy.
C
I have a friend who.
E
That's how you stop there. We're good.
C
Yeah. It is already a fake story. If I have a friend who, when we're driving, like late for the late night or something, he gets to a stoplight and it's red and there's nobody on the road. No. He looks both ways, sees. No. If there's no cop, and just goes like, takes a left or right at a red light.
B
Can I tell you? Do you have proof of this? Because there are so many red light cameras now that I don't believe this for one second.
C
No, there's no red light cameras in New Jersey. So yes, I've been in the car. When he's done it, I've gone crazy. I was like, what are you doing, dude? This is nuts. He's like, what do you mean? I was like, it's a law. You can't do it. He's like, so what? Like, doesn't matter. And then he brings up some things.
E
That'S like, oh, it doesn't matter. It's a law.
C
Nobody's going to see it. Like, what's the difference? There's no cop around.
E
I'm like.
C
And there's no cars coming. I'm like, I guess technically you're right. But it feels so wrong.
B
It is wrong. You can't do that. All right, it's time for football at BetMGM. And register with BetMGM to get instant access to the best variety of parlay selection features. No sweat. Emails@ fantasy footballbsi.com Andres is in a pickle, okay? So he needs a flex. Algier, Piersol, Pat Bryant or Kincaid. I think two of those guys might not play. Pearsall and Kincaid, Alger, Pat Bryant, though. We could go with that ppr, I think. You know what? I'd take a shot on Bryant and.
E
They can't get anybody off waivers.
B
Yeah, or you can get Darius. Oh, you get Michael Carter.
C
Yeah, yeah, Michael Carter.
B
He would have to drop Algier for Carter due to roster limits.
F
Yeah.
E
So what?
B
Yeah, do it.
E
Drop Pat Bryant.
B
No. And he has to drop a running back.
E
Oh, yeah. Then drop out.
B
All right, from Josh Squash, choose one and a half ppr. Michael Carter, Aaron Jones, Xavier Worthy or Jaden Reed Jones.
C
Jones. You know, though, I think it was, I think you made a great case for it this week, Jamie. It was either you or Dave. I can't remember at this point for Worthy being a sleeper option this week. I just have bad allergies in general these days.
B
Jamie, I think that was.
E
That is exactly what I just did.
C
But like as, as worthy without Rice in the lineup being kind of a sleeper option. Like what if they go to. Now you're just making me laugh. I don't know. We're gonna stick with. With Aaron Jones against a crappy Giants.
E
Worthy definitely has some sleeper appeal. Rice out. Titan stink. Minchi with the, the YOLO mentality can't run the ball. So. Yes. But playing the Giants, I'll take that running back.
C
Yeah, same.
B
Okay, let's see what else. Oh, from Nick. I like this one. Why are you guys so high on Rico? Rico Dowdle. As of now, Dave and Jamie have him 16th and Heath is top 10. He's had more than he goes on and on and he's, you know, they could be have to throw in this game. And I agree he is, he is averaging 3.2 yards per carry in his last five games against the Saints, twice, the Falcons, the 49ers and the Rams, the Niners. He had six carries for 38 yards the other games. He's been horrible. So you look at. I, I agree. I mean, I'm nervous. I don't know why. I think if I'm high on him, I am starting him in a couple of leagues. It's because I think we're going to get some points in this game. And he feels like, yeah, he feels somewhat likely. He feels like he has a decent chance to score a touchdown. But Jamie, why are you high on Rico Dado? Are you high on him?
E
I, I look at that group of running backs and I, I, you know, every time it's almost like I'm tempted to reshuffle them. He's not, he's a number two running back. Like you're not. I, I think getting somebody who's got top 10 upside this week, unless we get multiple touchdowns, the work in the passing game has disappeared. The yards per carry have been awful. It started with that game against the Rams where Chuba Hubbard broke out right before their bye week. At least it feels like it started that game. He's still going to probably get 15 plus touches. And this is the season for the Panthers. And I'm just assuming based on how Dave Canales has operated. He doesn't want to make Bryce Young have to win the game. He could win the game. The Buck secondary is bad. They can have success throwing the ball. We saw it against the Falcons, for example. It's a very similar type matchup in terms of how if they do allow him to throw, he'll be, he'll be successful. But their mantra has been run the ball. I think both guys are going to get probably a combined 30 carries with the majority of that going to Dowdle if he gets a couple catches, which he still could. Touchdown potential still there. So I struggle with Dowdle vs GainWell, I struggle with Dowdle vs Jones, with Dowdle vs Hampton if there's no Quinn Williams like that whole group of guys. But for now, Dallas slightly ahead just because I think the work was somewhat guaranteed. Right. It's like you look at Javante Williams going into last night, Kyren Williams like that whole list of guys like, you know they're going to get opportunities. Some match up good, some match up bad. Some matchups good. Some matches bad. Excuse me. I just think some grammar good.
B
Some grammar bad.
E
You know what, you know what the, you know what the Panthers are and their identity I think is somewhat true.
C
True.
B
All right, let's go to our next one. It's from Tom. I am the commissioner in two work leagues and I'm in the championship game in both. I'm not sure which react, what reaction I'll face from co workers if I end up winning in both. I have Drake May in both leagues and Lamar Jackson in one. They face off this weekend. Should I start one in each league the to play it safe in case one of them tanks or should I start May in both. And I think he, I think I might have cut off his question. I thought he said how should I celebrate or should I talk trash to my boss if I win? I think was one of his questions. But what do you think? Jackson, Drake, May and two leagues, Dan, what would you do?
C
It's been, we've been debating that all week on btv. Like where we're at with Jackson. I think it's so close for me. I would probably have them like back to back in my rankings. I would probably go down with May because he's been more consistent and he's got me there and he still has the rushing upside which at some, you know, in some ways maybe as much as Jackson at this point with what Jackson offers as a runner, his willingness or lack of this year. So yeah, I think I'd go May and as far as the second question goes, totally depending on your relationship with your boss. You know, if you have that kind of relationship where you can talk crap or not.
B
I like Jackson. I would. I think I could justify splitting them, but I would not start May in both. I prefer Jackson. Jamie.
E
I prefer Jackson too. It. I wonder if he gets those two touchdowns against Cincinnati in the game where he was awful if they have more than 40 plays against the Bengals in the last meeting. Like, we've seen some weird games for Jackson recently and you could say, okay, not healthy and not playing great. And those things are certainly true, but he feels like he's just had a couple of like, really bad luck situations.
B
Yeah.
E
And the fact that he got you still 18 fantasy points with only 40 plays and 12 pass attempts, like, that could have been a monster game for him last week.
B
Well, yeah, it should have been because Zay flowers cost him nine points. Yeah, that was a 20. That's a 26 point game on 12 pass attempts. All right, From Emmett, I've got London, Rashid Rice and Michael Wilson. Wow. And Jacoby Myers. So who should. I'm starting. Sorry. James Cook and I have Breeze, Hall Carter and Gainwell. So first of all, pick a running back.
E
It's Breeze, Hall, Carter and Game Mods dpr.
C
If it's pbr, I'm definitely going gain. Well, let me start by saying that. And I think I probably lean game well regardless.
B
Okay. Who would you. Would you. I don't really get the question here. Not very specific, but. All right, so we'll go to the next one here. Brock Purdy or Caleb Williams?
C
Brock Purdy for sure.
B
And definitely go with the Chiefs DST over the Dolphins. This is from Jordan. Hey, fft. I'll start with what is quite possibly the greatest dad joke of all time.
C
I'll be the judge of that.
B
Why couldn't the bike stand up on its own? Because it was too tired.
C
Solid.
B
All right, half PPR. Jalen Warren, Tyrone Tracy or Tedro McMillan. Pick one.
C
Warren, Tracy, Tad Aroa, Tracy. Is it full PPR, half PPR? F PPR. I'll go Tracy. It's close though. I can see Tarot being a better play. Tracy's still limited from his red zone role and I just don't think there's going to be much scoring for the Giants in this game.
B
From Darren. Pick two wide receivers and a flex in full PPR. Jalen Waddle, Marvin Harrison, Brian Thomas Jr. Drake London, Ashton, Genti, Waddle Harrison, Brian Thomas Jr. London Genti.
E
If London and Harrison Play. Those would be the two receivers. And then I would probably go waddle over Genti.
C
No, I'm gonna be London. And who was the receiver after MH. MHA.
B
Brian Thomas Jr. And Thomas Jr. Really?
C
Even against Denver? Yeah. I've liked what I've seen from Thomas Jr. I mean, I don't feel confidence. And I'm not inspired by playing Marvin Harrison Jr. No, I am. Yeah. Yeah.
B
I mean, unless he's not healthy. But if he's healthy, then yeah, if he plays.
C
He's healthy enough to play. All right, that's fair. It's a much better matchup than Denver. I'm okay with that.
B
All right. From Kevin. Oh, this is the guy who's. Who asked if he should rub it in against his boss. I'm playing my boss who has JSN and Gibbs full PPR bonuses for big touchdowns and 100 yard games or 50 yard games from a tight end. So first of all, Mayfield or Dart?
E
Mayfield for me.
C
Yeah, Mayfield. I don't. I don't want any Giants starting this week.
B
Henderson or Hampton?
E
Henderson.
C
Anderson. How could you not.
B
Three wide receivers. Lamb, London, Sutton. It's them. And if not London, then Brian Thomas Jr. Or a Mecca Buka.
E
Lamb, London and who?
B
Sutton.
E
Yes. Pick two.
B
Nice pick. Three. But. So it's those three. But if London were out, would you go Brian Thomas Jr. Or Abuka?
E
I'd go Abuka Book, I guess.
B
And then Fanon or Waller?
E
Fannin fan.
C
No joke, no joker. It should be a good spot.
B
And yeah, we think that you should. You should rub it in against your boss if you have that relationship with him. If you don't, probably not a good idea. You know John from Cleveland, the top. The top ranked waiver wire tight ends are Gunner Helm and Micah Sicki. Dawson. Knox is available. If Kincaid doesn't play, would you play Tyler Warren or Dawson Knox?
C
Tyler Warren. I don't feel good about that at all.
E
I think Warren is safer. But Knox. The last two weeks has been awesome.
C
Yeah, I guess.
B
Yeah.
C
It's not. I guess it is a question because Warren stinks right now for Fantasy General. Genuinely stinks. I may go knock knocks. I think you might have convinced me there. There, Jamie. They're both bad plays.
B
He wasn't that good when. When Kincaid was out though.
C
No, no, they're both bad plays. Let me be clear. But one is on a good offense. The other is on an offense with a quarterback who can't throw the football.
B
I can't believe they're starting him again. I really.
C
They have to. He still gives them a better chance to win probably than Riley Leonard. An injured Riley Leonard.
E
The interesting thing will be is if Richardson's healthy next week, what do they do?
B
Yeah, I mean, I think the interesting thing is if. If they, like they. They were able to keep the Seahawks off the board. If the 49ers score points and now Philip Rivers has to throw more.
C
I know. That's the crazy push the ball. If they get into a game script where he has to throw, it's going to be wild.
B
Yeah. All right. From. Sorry.
E
T. Higgins is going to be listed as questionable. He has yet to clear the concussion protocol. But we'll practice today.
C
Okay.
B
All right, we've got Justin here. Start three from this group. Jalen Waddle, Brian Thomas Jr. Chris Godwin, Jalen Reed and Jaden Reed and colson. Loveland. Waddle, BTJ. Godwin Reed and lovely no. 3.
E
Oh, Loveland. Wow. Waddle and read for me over the other two.
C
BTJ and what? Godwin. I mean, if I'm gonna go with like a player, like, it's. It's risky. If I go Loveland, it's hard to go Loveland and btj. Even though I too, still like BTJ more than these other options, honestly, he's played well lately. That offense is actually moving the ball. It's one of the only teams that has over 200 air yards played.
E
Nobody, though. I know.
C
I know. That's the problem.
B
They crushed the Chargers.
C
Yeah.
E
Chargers defensively. And they ran well against each other.
B
Their starters played three quarters, but that was the only game. That's the only stiff competition they had.
C
I get it. CH Fantasy Lab do not play BGA's week. Sir. Tan, I get it. But it's not like these other options are slam dunk. We're talking about Loveland, Jaden Reed and what were some of the other options there?
B
Jalen Waddle.
C
Jalen Waddle. Viewers.
B
Like, so I would go Waddle and Loveland, just like Jamie. And then it would come down to Brian Thomas Jr. Or Jaden Reed. If Watson doesn't play, then it's easy. Reed. If Watson does play, I don't. I don't think certain is going to shadow Brian Thomas Jr. But I don't. But he definitely could.
E
Again, here's the thing. Thomas, to Dan's point, he's played much better the last two games. He absolutely has. He has not exactly been safe or even great the majority of the season. And now you're talking about taking on a dent routine. Yes. They're down There they're down one safety. That being said, they've given up five touchdowns to receivers on the season. I don't think Thomas is going for 7 for 180 and no scores, you know, or even 6 for 50.
C
It's like a stress basically, if he scores or not. And this team doesn't give up scores. It's a good case to Benjamin.
B
Let me say one, one I think I'd love to see, I'd love to see them isolate him against Riley Moss.
E
And Riley Moss will, will have pass interference because that's what Riley wants us.
B
Yeah, I would love to see them try a deep.
C
That doesn't lead to any fantasy.
B
All right, let's go. Let's finish up here with some emails.
C
Change in fantasy. You get points if your receiver draws a PI. What do you think of that?
B
Maybe half the points.
C
Yeah, it doesn't have to be all of it.
B
If they didn't catch the ball. We don't know that.
C
No, it doesn't have to be all of it.
B
Just some start sit for Zach here. Golf. Or LaMar Jackson in four point for passing touchdown leagues.
C
You know, I, I, Lamar, I think, I think he, Yeah, I think I'd go golf, though.
E
I get it.
C
I get why it's crazy. But at home should be, should be in a good game script. There should be a ton of passing yards in that game.
B
All right, let's just rattle them off here.
C
Fine.
E
Golf.
B
I need a wide.
E
Gannon has said that Michael Carter will be the starting running back.
B
Okay, cool. I need a wide receiver and a flex. Cortland Sutton, there's your receiver. Abuka Reed Dowdle, ppr. I think we're going. Sutton and Dowdle.
E
Sudden Dow. Cowboys update. Quinn and Williams tracking well on the concussion protocol toward potentially playing this week. CD Lamb continues battle and illness that's making its way around the building but is doing some things this week according to Patrick. No, see, Walker, who covers the Cowboys for the Cowboys, used to work for us.
B
Oh, cool. And Gabe from upstate New York needs a flex and ppr. Michael Carter, Christian Watson, Harold Fannin.
C
Carter.
E
I might go Watson, but they're close.
B
Yeah, and I have a dad joke for Dan. How do you keep Giants players out of your yard? Put a goal post in it. This is from Frank. Pick two running backs at a flex. Omarion Hampton, Travis Etn, Rico Dowdle, Michael Carter. So pick two of those. Hampton, Etn Dowdle and Carter.
C
Hampton, Etn Dowdleen, Carter in a. What is this as PPR?
B
I don't know.
E
Etn for sure. Etn and dabble for me.
B
Same.
C
I think it might be ETN and Carter for me.
B
All right. And then we need a flex. Hampton, Carter, Dowdle, Christian Watson.
E
I might go Watson for the upset.
B
I mean, yeah, we just had Michael Carter. We just had Michael Carter versus Christian Watson. It's a super close.
C
Yeah.
B
So I think you're.
C
I'm on your side of the Dowdle, Adam. Not feeling good about it at all.
B
I mean, I'm still starting him. I'm starting him over Michael Carter and starting over Christian Watson and I'm starting.
C
Over Hampton against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Run funnel, like pass funnel. I mean, what are we, the Bucks.
B
Run defense is not what it once was.
C
It's not what it once was. But the way they scheme that defense is just not inviting to the run. I just wondering where the Dowdle points are coming from and how they're. And how we're getting there with Dowdle personally.
B
That's fair. He's been struggling.
C
Not. He's been struggling. He's just splitting on an offense that's not explosive.
E
Really getting a lot of work even while splitting.
B
He didn't split last.
C
They love to run the ball.
B
Hubbard had what, six carries last week? Something like that.
C
But he was in. What was the snap percentage? Hubbard?
B
Well, the snap percentage. Right. So Hubbard's always going to out snap him because he's going to play on passing downs.
C
Right. So.
B
So. But Dowdle can still get a few catches.
C
He has to score probably for this to be a good start.
B
Don't they all have to score? I mean, doesn't. Doesn't Michael Carter have to score? It's not like he's gonna yards per carry it. But you have four or five catches. But he's.
C
That's fair. But at least we know Michael Carter. We hope Michael Carter will be in. In the red zone. And every time.
B
Dan, what's your favorite Christmas movie or comedy episode?
C
Oh, great question. I have to think about comedy episodes. There's got to be so many that come to the list for favorite Christmas come.
B
That's Andy Bernard.
C
It might be the episode of Curb where Larry's father in law and he's married to Cheryl Hines, who's not Jewish. And Larry's father in law comes over with the Christ nail that he got from the movie the Passion of the Christ. And then it leads to like Larry stealing from the Christmas Virgil, whatever that thing is, where they have like Jesus and Mary and he steals from that.
E
Or something to get.
C
To get something for the father in law. I don't remember the exact details.
B
I do not. I've never seen that.
C
It would probably be that one for. For verse. And then as far as movie goes, Die Hard probably. Well, if we consider Die Hard a Christmas movie and we're not, everyone does troll Adam. I did finally see Die Hard last year or two years ago, whenever we discussed this, loved it. So it's probably that. But I love the movie. The Christmas movie I love is the one that Adam got me to watch. Two or last year Christmas vacation, the Chevy Chase one. I love that one. That one was dying. That was great.
B
I'm trying to take I'm taking a few years off from Christmas vacation just so I can enjoy it again when I see it. You know, I've seen it so many times. All right, we'll be right back with the Fantasy Cops on Fantasy Football today.

B
We'Re back with the Fantasy Cops. I think I only have one or two today. What's that?
C
It's a light week for the cops.
B
It is. It's been hard to top what we've had the last few weeks. This one is from Patrick says Dear Tracy, John, David and William.
C
No idea.
B
He says. You should know this. I don't.
C
I should know this? Yeah, he says Dan should know this.
B
Basically I don't know what it is though.
C
So I think Tracy, John, Adam and William.
B
No Tracy, John, David, William. Anyway, I'm the defending champion in a four player keeper superflex league. We have very deep lineups. I'd like to present to you a situation leading up to my first week one playoff matchup. My week one playoff matchup against Will. I was in first place, he was in eighth. I noticed that after Tuesday waivers the Will had lost his quarterback Daniel Jones to an injury and was struggling at the position. He had Mahomes and Pennix on ir. Well, whatever. He had zero fab remaining and needed a quarterback and I just lost the bid on Riley Leonard. I had plenty of fab remaining. I had Shadur Sanders as my QB3 and I had Dak in May. I was worried he'd pick up Mariota so I put in a $1 claim for Mariota and I dropped Shadur Sanders. I got Mariota and I confirmed that Will attempted to pick him up but he had zero fab. I knew he'd then pivot to Sanders after the 24 hour period ended. So I put a $1 bid back on Sanders. I did this a couple more times to keep Shadur Sanders and Marcus Mariota away from Will and another manager eventually pivoted back away from Riley Leonard to Shadur Sanders and stopped this cycle. And then Will was forced to settle for Rivers which went poorly. I think this keep away strategy is standard fantasy football practice, especially when approaching the playoffs. Managers will pick up a quarterback or a DST that they don't need to ensure their fab starved opponents can't gain an edge. Will has labeled my behavior as, quote, dishonorable and he insinuated that I don't play the game the right way. I think that's BS and this is all sour grapes after he blew his fab during the regular season.
E
What do you think? We were talking about this on Tuesday. Like, this is not. There's no rule against this. It's just kind of a crappy way to do it.
C
Yeah.
B
You know what? You guys keep talking about it. I'm going to read you the FFT Open official rules.
C
Oh, we protect against this.
B
Yes, we do.
C
Did you create the official rules?
B
No, this is a CBS thing.
E
Okay.
C
Thought you were just looking for some way to tout yourself.
B
Let's see.
E
So what we, what we said on Tuesday, Dan, was like, this isn't necessarily the, the exact way that we sort of frown on this, but like, if you do it all in one fab period of picking up all the quarterbacks.
B
That are available, I think you can't do this. Wait, I think if you think you.
C
Can do it in one fab period.
B
I think what this guy. I think what this manager did is wrong and I wouldn't allow it as commissioner.
E
So essentially, if it was a scenario like, let's say there's more quarterbacks available than just Mariota and Shoulder Sander, whatever the list of guys is. So you and I are playing in a super flex league and you lost all your quarterbacks just like what we had the last couple of weeks where Brady Cook and Right Rivers, that one week where they all became available and you go and you pick up all of them to prevent your opponent from getting any of them and then drop them.
B
Yeah, that, that.
E
What do you mean though?
C
You picked.
B
Well, first of all, I'm okay. Like what, what I don't like is when you use one roster spot or multiple roster spots to throughout the week add drop players and keep them on waivers.
C
Well, that's the thing. Yes, I. So I see what you're both saying. So I personally think, look, if the person mismanaged a free agent budget so poorly that they don't have money and somebody else has saved their money and they could just add all the quarterbacks, that's fine to me. What I don't like is the second part that you just brought up, Adam. But I think the good leagues protect against this. Like there's. There is a setting, I believe, or there should be a setting where players go back to free agency in a shorter period of time. We don't just sit on waivers until the next week. You can't just add, drop, add, drop, add, drop in one spot and just.
E
No, the way that this was explained to us is how most leagues operate with waivers.
C
I don't think so. Is this how most leagues. We could just flood the free agent pool with wavered players by just at. Because otherwise someone could just stand, go into their league, use that last roster spot on their bench and just boom, boom, boom through all of free agency and just put everyone right.
E
That's what we're talking about. So there's no real way to enforce this.
C
There is, though. You change the settings. So people are only on waivers for one day.
B
This is what this is. First of all, waivers and fab are different.
C
On waivers for one day, what's the problem? They'll go. The person can pick them up because.
E
He'S using his fab manager keeps. Keeps blocking the other manager from doing this.
B
Yeah, because this guy has.
C
This guy has fab budget left.
B
Yeah, this guy has fab left. The other guy doesn't. So he keeps putting in a $1 bid for Sanders, drops him for Mariota, puts in a $1 over and over and over again. And I think that's wrong. So in the FFT open, I did not write these rules. These are CBS guidelines. They say the second exception.
E
But just to be fair, this is part of a discussion that we had as a group. This isn't like a CBS corporate.
B
I don't know, I don't think I ever. I don't think this ever came up. I think these are just in like the guidelines, the kind of boilerplate guidelines that they would have that the. That legal would have basically, you know, to ensure something fair here and there. He said that it says there. There are two. There are two exceptions with only two exceptions. There are no limits to the number of AD drops you can request, nor are there any transaction fees. The first exception is when a manager attempts to add or drop his entire team or a significant number of players. Okay, we'll skip to the next one. The second exception, a little bit different than what's going on here. But the second exception is abuse of the waivers process. This is when a team manager adds, then drops a series of players, putting those players on waivers and making them inaccessible to other team managers. Such an action could result in forfeiture of points as well as that team manager being blocked from making additional AD drops for the remainder of the season and in some cases, dismissal of the league as determined by CBS interactions. So that says Multiple players. This is just one. But I think this is not really within the spirit of. Of the. Of, you know, fantasy football to just keep AD dropping and putting a guy on waivers so someone else can't get him. Putting two guys on waivers, it's tricky.
C
Because it's definitely not in the spirit. At the same time, it's also a very unique strategy. I probably. I've really never heard of this until now, and I kind of think it's a little genius from the creativity standpoint, to be honest. It is. Like, if you've saved enough budget, you don't have anything to really use it on at this point. There's only one more week of WA after this. This is not a bad way to use it, creatively speaking. But it's obviously a little bit. I mean, a lot against the spirit of fantasy. I mean, I personally, like, on the, like, side note of this, like, I hope you would agree with this, Adam. If you have, like, a team, you're going into the finals. Let's say this week was the finals, not the semis, but it doesn't really matter. And. And you have extra Ross spots and free agent. If on the first waiver, one run, you're okay with them just picking up every quarterback and rostering them, right?
B
Yes. Yes.
C
Okay. All right.
E
It's just. It's just the thing of adding and dropping and adding.
C
Dropping. Yeah.
E
Yeah.
B
It's you. It's using designated roster spots on your team for the sole purpose of add, drop. Add drop. Add drop. Yeah, to keep players on waivers so they cannot be picked up. And, you know, I guess you can't really do that so much if it's just waivers because you'll lose your priority. But if it's fab, then you can bully. I could see both sides of the argument. I could see you.
E
This sort of falls in that gray area for you of, like, if he had. So if he did this and then the next time picked up the next player, like, as long as he held them. Right. Aren't you okay with it? They do it for one player and then drop them on the. For the weekend, right?
B
Yes. Like, if he. If he had picked up.
E
It's such a gray area.
B
It is. If he picked up sand or Mariota, I think it was. And dropped Sanders and left Sanders on waivers for the other guy to claim, and he didn't. And then on Saturday, he dropped Mariota, I'd be fine with that. But he. What he did was he made two players completely unaccessible. Yeah, but listen, I get it. I don't. I wouldn't say it's mismanagement to have zero fab. I'd say, you know, you had to get through the. Through the regular season, do what you have to do. But if you. If you take an opposite approach. Stance. I get it. I think it's reasonable. It is a tough one. It's a. I think you should have. You should have something in your bylaws next year to protect against this.
E
So, I mean, I'll tell you something that I. I think I. I don't know if it's right. Right thing to do, a wrong thing to do, but, like, I picked up Jacoby Brissette in a league to block two opponents from getting him because I'm starting Jalen hurts. If the week plays out as I expect it to, where I'm the two seed and I'm. And the one seed is going to win, and I win, I'm gonna drop Brissette to pick up a DST for next week.
C
Yeah.
E
Because I'll have the priority to get percent again.
C
Yeah.
E
To prevent that manager from getting. What's the problem with that?
C
No, there can't be a problem with that. That's just good strategy.
E
You have to allow that.
C
At the minimum.
E
Say it again.
B
Say it again.
E
So I'm gonna. It's a waivers league, so I'm gonna drop Brissette probably today to pick up a DST for next week.
C
Yeah.
E
But I know I'm gonna be able to pick up Brissette first.
B
Oh, yeah, that's fine.
E
Lock them again.
B
Yeah, that's fine. Why aren't you starting Brissette? Who do you have?
C
He has a better player. Jalen. He wants to block someone from getting Brissette.
E
Yeah.
B
All right. Tough. Tough thing. I encourage people to have a written rule about it in case this does come up, because it's. It's up to you how you want to deal with it, but you should get ahead of it and deal with it. All right, let's see. I got. I need some Apple podcast questions here. Got to pull those up. What's. What are your weekend plans, Dan on.
C
The can not gonna be a great weekend. I don't think it's gonna be rainy and cold. Just gonna watch a lot of sports. That's kind of the weekend. Watch a lot of sports. Maybe get a movie in. Probably not got shows going on right now that I've been watching, so movies are on the back burner again.
B
Yeah, whatever, man.
C
Do you see the new Fallout episode? Do you guys watch Fallout.
E
So good night.
C
So good.
B
Oh, yeah. So who do you think's a better napper, me or Jamie?
C
Ooh, a better napper. So I. We had a little bit of this discussion before the show. I just find it so crazy that either of you is able to nap on command. It's one of them.
E
I.
C
There's a few things I'm jealous about in life when I meet people. One of them is people who are good at sleeping. I've actually become a much better sleeper at night. I can sleep at night, but during the day, there's no chance I ever nap. So out of you two, I'm gonna say Jamie's the better napper.
B
I feel very strongly that I'm a better napper.
C
Wow.
E
There. There are times when you and Dave are talking. I sleep on air.
B
I was asleep just now, but I.
E
I sleep with my eyes open.
B
I. I mean, Jamie and I both kind of work really late. I don't think I work as late as Jamie, but I usually finish around 12:30 or 1 most nights, and then I'm up, you know, 7ish or whatever. So I don't. We don't get a lot of sleep. The only way I can make it through the day is to get a nap in, like, crazy yesterday. Yesterday I had a headache. Well, I took a great nap yesterday. It was terrific. Like, usually it's on the couch. If I go up to the bed, that's how, you know, I like. I mean business here. But what I would say is that Jamie might be a really good napper during football season, but I could get 12 hours of sleep and I could nap the next day. There is no amount of sleep that would make it so that I wouldn't be able to nap the next day. And I love it, and I'll do it.
C
So jealous.
E
That's. The more. The more I sleep, the more I nap. It's weird.
C
I could be given a time period to nap and, like, you have to nap, and it would be like, a 1% chance that I fall asleep. I've tried it before. I lay there and like, 45 minutes later, and nothing happened. Just like, all right, well, this was just a waste of time. And then I get angry that I wasted the time. It's crazy.
E
I went so last. Last Sunday, the one o' clock games almost lined up identical to where they were all at halftime around the same time. And I was like, oh, this is awesome. So I went downstairs in our office into one of the empty studios. We have, like, little Recording studios and set up two chairs and I slept.
B
It was okay. That's pretty impressive.
C
I sleep on command is so impressive.
B
I would sleep during the London games or the Europe games. I would sleep for about eight minutes. I would set an alarm for eight minutes for halftime.
C
That's amazing. Yeah.
B
My wife's always like, how does that help? I'm like, I guess five minutes would help me.
C
So do you. Are you both also able to sleep on command on planes?
B
No, I can't sleep on plane at all.
E
At least not as easily as I used to. But generally, if I'm by myself and I get on a plane, the minute I sit down in the chair, no matter what, what's happening, I'll fall asleep and I'll wake up at takeoff.
B
I hate that, that. That always happens to me. And then I can't get back to sleep. I can sleep. Yes. On the tarmac. I can sleep.
C
That's terrible.
B
Yeah. As soon as the. As soon as takeoff happens, you'll just.
C
You'll just get like 10 brief or what? I usually 30 these days. 30 minutes and then you're done. You're up the rest of the flight.
E
Oh, if all the best naps are 20 minute naps, power naps. Because it just gives you exactly what you need and then it gets you the rest of the day.
B
Yeah, I like. I like a nice long hour long nap.
C
All right, I'm up. That's it for the day.
B
Well, I don't drink coffee, so maybe that's.
C
Even if it did.
E
James. James has the. The right answer there. This will change for Dan when he's. When it happens.
C
Yeah, yeah.
B
If you have. Yeah.
C
Well, then you're just not getting sleep in general.
B
I can't use them as an excuse anymore, though. I mean, when they're really young, maybe, but now, like, that's just not.
E
Well, but that's part of it, though, is like, especially for me with. With work. Like, I don't. I don't get a break. I go from work to activities for kids and then it's straight through. Yeah, that's a great dad joke.
B
Why can't you give Elsa a balloon? She will let it go.
E
You have to sing it, though.
B
Dan has no idea what this means.
C
I know about the let it go thing.
B
Do you know who Adele Dazeeb is?
C
Adele what?
B
Adele Dazeeb.
C
Well, I know it's not the Adele that I know, so.
B
No, that's what I called Idina Menzel.
C
There's a fire. That one. I know that one.
B
He called And Dina Menzel, Adele Nazib. It's one of the funniest things you can go online. In fact, I will John Travolta fy your name and tell you what John Travolta would. Would call you.
C
What?
B
So he was presenting an award or something? He was the wickedly talented Adele Dazeeb.
E
Yeah.
B
And he butchered her name like no one's name has ever been butchered before. And that. Yeah, John Travolta said they have. So this was a long time ago. So now I'm looking at this USA Today article from March.
E
I bet we're going to be accused of stealing a bit from somebody. Somebody's probably done this before.
B
Done what? No, I'm looking at it. There was a John Travolta name generator that was created. This is in March.
E
Yeah, but what was the thing we got accused of stealing with the Jersey short names once?
B
Oh, I don't remember. All right, so, Dan Schneier. Your John Travolta name would be Dean Spencer. Let's see what JB's John Travolta.
C
Dave would be Spencer. Kind of like that better than what I got right now.
B
Jamie Eisenberg. Travolta fight is Joey Ed Browards. All right, let's read some Apple podcast questions. Start one in full. Ppr. Christian Watson or Chris Godwin.
C
Lots of people. Yeah.
B
Dan, your argument regarding movies is valid to a point. Yes, Shawshank Redemption is a better movie than Pee Wee's Big Adventure, and you don't need to see the latter to know it. But, dude, you can't make that take when you're talking about two great movies.
C
Yeah, yeah. I mean, I. I hear it. I just think that they're on different tiers when it comes to great. Personally, without having ever seen Rocky. One day we'll not say that. Yeah, well, like, yes, that's the point. Like, I could say Pee Wee Herman's Great Adventure is not on the same tier. So why am I allowed to say that but not Rocky? Because you tell me that Rocky's in that tier.
E
No, the world tells you that Rocky's in that tier.
C
The world does not tell me that. If you look at these ranks.
B
Told you that, Bro.
C
7 was ranked 20 and Rock was ranked, like, in the hundreds. So the world does not think. The world does not think that Rocky is this unreal, like, top 20 ever made movie dance. The world does not.
B
Look at this comment. Dance Mafia name would be Daddy no strips. Love that.
C
My online Persona.
B
You actually got us. You got a Negative comment on Apple podcasts from a Philly fan who was mad at you because you said you wouldn't watch Rocky because it was set in Philly.
C
I didn't say that, did I?
B
Yeah, you jokingly. You said that.
C
Oh, I jokingly said that. Oh, man.
B
Unfortunately, I think that might be it for the starter sit questions in terms of Apple podcasts. So let's go to our.
C
As we are noted in the comments, Rocky is 212 in the IMDb rankings. 7 was 20. Like I can clearly say that's not the same tier.
B
It is the same tier.
C
It was ranked 2,212best movie of all time.
B
Yeah, it's the same tier.
C
Dan, do you enjoy the movie Bronx Tale? Yes, I do. And I will definitively say without having seen Rocky, that Bronx Tale is a better movie than Rocky.
B
No, no, I will. Yes.
C
Bronx Tale is amazing. It's one of my favorite.
E
Is in the same category as well.
B
Guys, Bronx Tale is not be better than Rocky. Bronx Tale is a. Basically, it's basic Bronxdale basically. Like I do like Bronx Tale, but it essentially just takes all these different themes and recurring, you know, thing things, for lack of a better word from other mafia movies and puts them all into this one movie. And I know it's based on a true story, but it's. It's no different than other mafia.
C
You just have something with mafia. You just don't like mafia stuff. I love that Good Villas sucked. You said this sucks, not suck. But you did not ran either them highly goodfellas or Bronze. You're out on both Fellas is so.
B
Much better than Bronxdale. So much.
C
But you said Rocky was better than.
E
Good fellas, better than Bronx. I don't know. So much.
B
So much.
E
Yeah. I don't know. So much better.
C
Rocky's is amazing. The scene. Yeah, Nazi can't leave the scene where that scene in the bar is one of my favorite movie scenes of all time.
B
It's a great scene, it's a good movie, but it's not. It's not like a classic movie. And also, Dan, you may not even realize it. You meant to say Bronx Tale is amazing. You actually said Rocky is amazing. So we'll just leave it at that. Let's read some.
C
I might have been speaking too fast. It's a problem I have where I can't catch up with my own brain, even though it's slow to begin with. But Tale is an amazing movie. It's really disgusted by your Bronx Tale. Slander.
B
It's that slander. I'M just saying it's not in that tier. Coralyn Sutton or Mike Evans?
E
Mike Evans.
B
If Dan. You got to keep up.
C
Evans. Yeah, I'm just. I'm thinking about it.
B
If Drake London plays and Marvin Harrison sits, would you go London or Michael Wilson?
C
Wilson.
B
Wilson.
E
If Drake London plays and Marvin Harrison.
B
Sits, it's Wilson, Ashton Genti or Aaron Jones. Ppr Jones.
C
Yeah. Jones against Giants defense.
E
Got to do it.
B
Brock Purdy or Bo Nixon?
C
Birdie.
E
Birdie.
B
Juwan Johnson or Darren Waller?
C
Waller.
E
Yeah, Waller.
B
Should I drop Fanon for Gadsden or Loveland?
E
I like both better than fan in this week just based on the matchup, but they're all close, so.
C
Well, first off, if Johnston plays, I'm probably fan in. Of those three, he's the most involved in the offense by far.
B
Of those three, I go Loveland. I feel like Loveland's been pretty safe to get you at least 8ish points and now you've got more upside. Olave or Waddle or Waller?
E
Olave.
C
Yeah, for sure.
B
All right, Sit two pp. It says ppf. I'm hoping that's point. It's either point per first down or a point per reception and it's a typo. RNF are pretty close to each other on the keyboard, so. Ppr Tight end. Premium. Sit two. Michael Wilson, Justin Jefferson, Wanda Robinson, Juwan Jennings, Travis Kelsey, Juwan Johnson.
E
Juwan Johnson and Jefferson.
C
Jefferson against the Giants. I'm good with it. Could be. Could be the week. Maybe not. Could be. Yeah. John Johnson's fine.
B
Michael says Rocky has been.
E
We're sitting though.
B
We're sitting. Sitting.
C
Oh, we're playing who?
B
We're playing Kelsey. We're playing Juwan Jennings. Yeah, I'm probably going to sit Michael Wilson if Harrison plays.
C
I'm not sitting Wilson no matter what. I've made that. Yeah. No, I'm on Wilson the rest of season.
B
I'm definitely sitting Juwan Johnson.
C
Yeah, that's fine.
B
Michael says Rocky is better than Goodfellas. Most overrated movie. I wouldn't say that.
C
Manual Crazy Take Good Fells is so watchable every time it's on air. Not that Rocky. Rocky probably is the same but.
B
Manual says.
E
I will say this, I like both movies. I'd rather re watch Goodfellows than I'd rather rewatch Rocky.
C
Yeah, no surprise there. Would you rather re watch Bronx Tale or Rocky?
E
Those are very similar because it's, you know, slow paced type movies that I probably would go Rocky over there.
C
Okay.
B
Yeah. The thing is, I probably rather watch Rocky 4 than Rocky 1 because it's. Rocky 4 is just a crowd pleaser. It's a ridiculous movie, but it's one of the most fun movies. But obviously Rocky 1 is much better movie than Rocky 4. Manual says mice died in your wall because you're so worried about censoring swear words in 2025.
E
Yeah, you should talkie Mushroom head Breeze.
B
Hall, Tony Pollard or Christian Watson.
C
Watson.
E
Yeah.
B
And let's do jcm, Managai, Algier, D Mercado or estimate.
E
Estimate.
C
Yeah, yeah, we're estimate team estimate.
B
Lamar Jackson or Jared Goff.
C
We had this earlier. I think I'm actually golf, but I know I'm in the minority there.
E
Well, that was four points, so in six points, it's golf.
B
And we're going to Finish with your YouTube comments. Purdy, Herbert or Brissette?
C
Purdy.
B
One wide receiver and a flex. Evans, McConkey, Michael Wilson. Safe. Flowers, Henderson, Javante and Hampton.
C
Wilson, obviously, if Harrison's out. Evans and Wilson, if that's the case for me. Otherwise, what'd you say?
E
I would agree with that. If Harrison's out.
C
Otherwise Evans and say maybe I'll go Evans and Javante. Yeah. Oh, I didn't see Javante in the back end there.
E
Yeah.
B
A little risky though, but yeah, may lose Rashi Rice. I need two Abuka, Adonai, Mitchell and Audric. Estimate.
C
Oh, wow. You bench a buga, Mitchell.
B
What'd you say, Jamie?
C
Here we go. Full ppr. I might just go with Buka and Mitchell.
B
Okay, David, Ajoku's been ruled out, by the way. Chicken lo mein or pepper steak? Chicken, man.
C
He's saying Christmas.
E
Is really good, though.
C
Yeah, the good pepper steak is really good. I had one actually the other day.
B
What is the pepper?
C
It's just like black pep. It's like a black pepper spice dish. Yeah, it's nothing really to it. There's onions. I think those green onions maybe are in it. There's like a little bit of vegetables. Nothing crazy, but good. Yeah, steak is dumplings for sure.
B
For me, steak's overrated.
C
Dumplings. No, no, no. Steak is not overrated.
E
There he is, folks.
C
Yeah, it's just a horrific take. Not only steak. Underrated and not overrated.
E
Adam.
C
It is. It's actually especially grass fed. Or only grass fed. Healthier for you than all the chicken you eat that you think is healthy. You think, oh, I'm eating chicken. I'm a healthy guy. Wrong, wrong, wrong. So why chicken?
B
You're so. I mean, I don't. You're ridiculous. So, like, what about the organic chicken that I get? You think that's unhealthy?
C
Depends. If they soak it in bleach to clean it.
B
I would think they wouldn't, but. Well, Dart Mayfield or Brissette.
E
Let's go with.
C
Steak has so many nutrients that red meat has so many nutrients.
E
Yeah.
B
It also has a lot of fat and it's bad for your heart. And I said, okay, in moderation, it's fine. It's great. It's great in moderation.
C
Carter, I bet you if you ate it's good grass fed steak every day, you'd be. You'd be incredibly healthy.
B
Oh, incredibly overweight. And you'd have heart issues. Carter.
C
Or you're just eating meat with no carbs. You would not be overweight.
B
Carter or estimate. And Herbert or Brissette? Brissette's our QB3, so it's always going to be Brissette. Basically, Carter or Dan likes Purdy better than Brissette, so.
C
I do. I love Purdy this week.
E
All right.
C
Well, not her door game. That Colts defense is starting to collapse.
E
They just played awesome last week, though.
B
I'm going Carter over estimate.
C
They did, but it was Darnold.
E
I would go Carter over estimate to be safe, especially in ppr.
B
You know, Marco, I'm sorry I answered this question because you asked it 600 times in the chat. We don't like that. Pick two Hertz, Mayfield and Shuck.
E
Hertz and Mayfield.
C
And.
B
Pitts. Or Aaron Jones.
E
PPR pits for sure. If London is out, I might go Jones. If London isn't.
B
You can play, Dan. You can participate.
C
Sorry, I was. I was responding to something in the private chat with producer Emma, who was curious about my diet. It's not what I would like it to be, but I bet if I did do a carnivore diet, I'd be in incredible shape. I stand by that.
B
Michael will please do it before the tennis match next year. Michael Wilson or Amarian Hampton in pbr?
C
Wilson.
E
Ah, man. So a lot of moving parts here. Wilson. If Harrison is out, I would go Hampton. If Harrison is in and Quinn Williams is out. If Quinn and Williams is in, no matter what happens, I would go Wilson.
B
Okay, where. What are you eating for the Miami game?
C
Yeah, what are you eating for the Miami game?
E
Well, let's guess before he answer, he's going to eat raisins.
C
More importantly, are you watching the Miami game?
B
I actually deleted the part from the Monday show where we talked about this. Why? It's in the video. I deleted it from the audio. I didn't want.
F
Why?
B
I didn't want it. I didn't want anyone to hear it.
E
Like anyone for anyone who's the party.
C
It's been exposed now. You can delete this.
B
I wasn't. I was. I feel like I was being pretty respectful, but I was saying how I.
C
You were very respectful.
B
Yeah, I have.
C
I don't like, think it's that insane to have it on mute in the background. I'm not gonna lie. I really don't.
B
I told you, Dan, there are some friends that I would ask that to and some friends that I'm not comfortable doing that. And this happens to be one of them. We're not quite there yet.
C
And then I do really respect story.
E
What'd you do?
B
No, I have. I have a Hanukkah party in the middle of the Miami game and I. Dan says I should go there and ask the guy to put the game on tv. I've never been to this guy's house.
C
I didn't say that.
E
Of course you asked him to put it.
B
No, I'm not. No, I'm not comfort.
C
It. It's.
B
It's not like there. There are some friends. Like if I went to Jamie's house at Dan's house, I'd do it. This is a newer friend.
E
So what?
B
We're not there? No, we're not there. We're not there. So you have to get there now.
E
Oh, my God.
B
It's not right. I'm kind of an outsider at this party. This is not like.
C
You're not.
E
You're there.
B
It's not my group of friends. It's so.
E
What?
B
No, it's not the right thing to do.
C
I just don't get it. It's like going to be the second half of the game.
E
Can I tell you, I. I went to a bar mitzvah and Florida was playing in the semi final, the final four, and I said to my friend, his son's bar mitzvah, you're gonna have a TV somewhere in the. In the party, right? Yeah, yeah, of course.
B
Yeah, but he. That's a. He's a. He's a. Yeah, of course. Guy. This guy.
E
It's not somebody's house.
B
I know, but this guy.
E
You don't know that.
C
This guy wouldn't be a year. Of course I do know.
E
You're.
C
You're being offensive in saying that.
B
No, he's not. He's. He's not going to give a crap about the Miami Texas A M game.
C
And he May give a crap that.
E
You give pissing me off to such a level, if you do not ask your friend to put the game on, I am going to go on a 10 minute curse rant on Sunday.
C
I mean, it's insane that Adam thinks he's just gonna, like, walk through this day with, like, the second half the game playing out and he's at a party making small talk. All he's going to be caring about is the game.
B
I. I don't. My two options right now.
E
What's his name?
B
Hold on. My. My two options are. Well, three. Like, one is I go there and I'm just lucky and the game's on and, you know, and everyone's happy. Two is I go there and I watch on my phone. I, like, sneak glances on my phone or, like, just watch. And three is I turn my phone off.
E
This is your favorite team. You went to school there.
B
I know.
C
It's insane.
E
What's wrong with you?
C
It's literally insane. They're in the college football playoff, and he can't even ask his friend. He doesn't even have the courage. Can you put it on mute in the background? Put it on a TV that's not even in the main room. I don't know, like, think of something. You got to get creative with this.
B
I've never been to the house. I'm not telling his name.
E
I'm gonna call him for you.
B
Or I. I turn my phone. I think what I'm leaning. What I'm leaning is I turn my phone off, I DVR the second half and I. I watch it.
C
What? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that's honestly better than the other option or the options Adam's considering.
E
Here.
C
It's insane. I can't believe you can't ask this guy.
B
I'll feel out the vibe. I'll feel out the.
E
Look at me for a second. Just look at me for a second. Can you please. Can you please. Can you please put the.
C
Can't. He can't even look you in the eyes, Jamie. He can't even look you in the eyes.
B
I did look him in the eyes.
C
His head's down.
B
He was raising his shoulders.
C
His head is down.
E
And this is awful.
B
It's.
C
This is shameful. It is a little crazy.
E
They say no. They say no.
B
It's just sports. It's just sports, you know?
E
But then you know what kind of friend it is. Yeah. Also agree with Jamie.
B
Like, they say no.
C
They say no. What do you care?
B
You. Are you serious that you don't see how rude it is to go to your friend's house, going there and saying.
E
Yawn and say, hey, I'm watching the game because my favorite team, if you walk. Walked into the house, say, hey, Dan, listen, I. I hope this isn't an imposition, right? The. The Hurricanes are playing. Is there any way, like, maybe in a. Another room you can put the game on so I can just walk back and forth and go check or do you know, would it be okay if you put the game on? I guarantee you. I pro. I promise you. I promise you this. There is going to be, if it is couples, right? Parents, right, Whatever. This is family holiday party.
B
I. I have been around the people that I think will be at this party, and it does not.
E
Are there other potential football fans there?
B
College? Not really.
E
Are there other. Forget.
B
Yes.
E
Are there other potential sports fans there?
B
Yes.
E
I'm so mad at you right now. Are there other potential sports fans there?
B
Yes.
C
This is crazy.
E
Then they're gonna say, oh, man, this guy's a hero. You asked the question we've been begging to ask. Wear the cape.
B
Yeah, I don't. I don't know, man.
C
I just don't know. Like, if you approach it the way Jamie broke it down, Adam, I don't know how anyone could be offended if they heard it.
B
I wouldn't.
C
Die hard fan. It's my team. We made the playoffs.
E
Husband or wife, whoever is. Is you feel comfortable asking the question to. If they be like, listen, it's a. It's a Hanukkah party. We really just don't want to do it.
B
Then you're like, okay, cool. Hey, you're not gonna say that. You. It's rude to put them in that situation.
E
You're not putting them in any spot.
B
I don't think you are. If they don'. They don't want the TV on. It's rude to put them in that situation.
E
Stop. Stop. If you have to go to the bathroom, you can ask. Go to the bathroom. You just don't want to offend them because you don't want to go take a piss.
B
It's completely different. You know it is. No, it's not. Yes, it is. It's a question. In their home, it's rude to put them in that situation where they would. They would have to say no to me. They don't want to do that situation.
C
If you frame it right, there's no situation say, I understand. If you just want to even say that you qualify it. I understand. If top party. You don't want that vibe going on, that's totally fine. But, you know, it is my favorite team. I'd love to have it on the background.
B
I. I'm getting a lot of support in the chat, too. You guys are. You are. You guys are wrong.
C
You're just picking the ones that support you. As usual. We're just picking the.
B
I think a lot of people, like, they like Jamie's passion here, but I think they're really. They feel that I. I am being. I am doing the right thing. I am being considerate of. Of the host.
C
What right thing? You're not some righteous guy for not asking them.
B
All this. Yeah. Johnny, Airport. I hope you're right. He says with all the trepidation from Adam when he show shows up to the party, they already have the game on. I hope you're right. I don't see it clear. I don't see. I don't see it clearly happening.
E
And I'll tell you this much. If they said no to you asked that, I never want to see that person again.
C
No.
B
These are really nice people. They're really nice. I really like them. Like, they. We have kids that are the same age.
C
I won't go as far as what Jamie's saying. Like, I respect what I'm trying to say. He's like, I want to put my kids first. I want my kids to be friends with this family.
B
Yes.
C
And I don't want to sacrifice that. But I just don't think he. How he's framing it makes any sense. Like, no one's going to be offended if you say it the right way and ask nicely in a certain way. Like, I kind of qualify. Like, no one's going to be offended by that dude.
B
I don't think they're going to be offended, but it's the. It's just not the right thing to do. I will try to feel out the vibes and see if it's an appropriate question to ask. If it's not an appropriate question. If there's.
E
Johnny, thank you, Johnny. That's the exact response.
B
What. What do you say?
E
You're acting like they're gonna throw you out if you ask the question.
B
No, I know they're not going, no.
C
He'S not acting like I get what Adam's saying.
B
He's not worried my wife, like, that's embarrassing for her, thinks it's offensive.
C
He thinks it's embarrassing or offensive in some kind of way.
B
Embarrassing to my family. It's embarrassing to my wife. Like, she doesn't want me to go up and act like that's. I'm not doing that.
E
Yeah, I. I can kind of see.
C
What you're saying, right.
B
Like, that's embarrassing.
C
I sort of see what you're saying, but not really because it's just like.
E
You say it nicely.
C
Like, hey, man, I'm just a die hard fan. Like, I'm sorry. We're in the College Football Playoff, where I know this today is about the kids and about the party. Any chance we can just get it on a background tv? I walk in and out of that room. Like, you could say it in such an easy way.
B
So that Dave, Jamie's saying that the move is to fake being sick. I will say that I thought my daughter was getting sick.
C
She came home from school, definitely.
B
I did. I was like, I really want me. I don't want to hurt again. I wanted me to get the flu. I wanted to get the flu. I did, and I didn't get it. So, you know.
E
She rubbed all over your face.
C
Adam has so much integrity that he'd, like, rather actually someone in his family get sick so he can miss his party rather than, like, make up a lie, which he could easily do.
B
I wanted me to get sick.
C
I didn't want her to get integrity to lie. Instead, he's hoping someone gets sick in his family.
E
Yeah. Andrew's gonna go sit in the walking clinic for 48 hours.
C
Yeah. Rather than just lie about what's going on.
B
I don't know.
E
This is actually like a Curb episode. Like, you really.
C
It really is.
E
It really is a question of just. Hey, can you turn the TV on? Yeah, because.
B
And you know how. You know how the curb. You know how the Curb episode would end? They would turn the TV on. They would leave the party. No, actually, they would get into a big argument about it in. In the. How could you ask that? I can't believe you would ask. That's so weird to ask. I'd be like, what do you mean? I'm just asking. Just say, like, you can't put me in that position. You can't impose that on me. All right, we gotta go. Have a wonderful weekend, everybody.
E
Wow. We almost equaled the same amount of time.
B
I know. I can't believe how long these shows have been.
E
Holy moly.
B
Beyond the box score was 2 1/2 hours earlier this week, so we got some catching up to do. All right, we're out of here. See ya.
E
Paramount Podcasts.

Episode: Mailbag and Fantasy Cops!
Date: December 20, 2025
Host & Panel: Adam Aizer, Dave Richard, Jamey Eisenberg, Dan Schneier
Purpose: Listener mailbag, lineup dilemmas, playoff advice, league disputes (Fantasy Cops), and candid in-season conversation for those competing in the fantasy football playoffs.
This episode features the crew diving deep into listener questions and pressing Week 16 start-sit dilemmas during the fantasy playoffs, alongside the much-loved “Fantasy Cops” segment resolving controversial league behavior. The hosts offer candid analysis, humor, relatable tales from their own leagues, and plenty of actionable advice for managers fighting to win their championships. The tone is relaxed, fun, and interactive, balancing sharp football insights with friendly debate (and the occasional dad joke).
Dan Schneier kicks off lamenting being crushed early in the playoffs by a monster Thursday performance from Stafford, Puka Nacua, and JSN.
(03:20) "I guess I'm done... like, I was first in points by 231 and now I’m matched up against Stafford, Puka, and JSN all on one team." – Dan
Adam & Jamie reflect this playoff pain is very common, especially with wild Thursday or overtime point explosions.
Jalen Hurts vs. Drake Maye: Panel leans Hurts for matchup and known ceiling.
"Gonna go with Jalen Hurts. Love the matchup. Let it ride." – Dan (05:04)
Brock Purdy vs. Caleb Williams/Bo Nix: Consensus is to stick with Purdy's steady production.
Mayfield > Dart: Panel prefers Baker Mayfield this week (31:57).
Loveland, Waller, Pitts: Panel generally refuses to bench Pitts even with London back. "I don't think you can bench Pitts, regardless of if London plays or not." – Dan (05:19)
Warren vs. Knox: Touches debate; slightly favoring Warren for safety, but see value in Knox if Dalton Kincaid sits.
Henry, Swift, Dowdle: Leaning Henry for a potential ceiling, Swift for PPR flex (07:10).
Michael Carter’s value: Multiple listeners ask if Michael Carter’s temporary starting role makes him a lineup lock ("Jones against Giants defense. Got to do it." – Jamie (24:38)).
The Estimate vs. Evan Hull debate (08:13–12:40):
Fantasy Cops Segment (43:08–52:55):
"Got my bye week and now matched up against Stafford, Puka and JSN all on one team. I guess the season's over! It’s Thursday. Is there any world I can make a comeback? Probably not." – Dan [03:20]
"I think Estime is definitely a better player... He's a Ramondre Stevenson type – good stop and start, great after contact. I think you'll be surprised, Adam, at Estime." – Dan [10:32]
"He might be the slowest running back in the NFL." – Adam [11:40]
"If they were playing a normal defense, it's not even a conversation. This is just such a great opportunity." – Jamie [11:48]
"It's not in the spirit of the game to just keep add-dropping and putting a guy on waivers so someone else can't get him... It's using designated roster spots for the sole purpose of add-drop, add-drop, add-drop." – Adam [48:09]
"There should be something in your bylaws next year to protect against this." – Jamie [51:33]
"You see a blob of colors that look pretty similar to me." – Dan [16:46]
"Why couldn't the bike stand up on its own? Because it was too tired." – Listener Jordan [30:09]
The episode is energetic, irreverent, and packed with examples from both the hosts’ own leagues and listener dilemmas. The hosts combine stat-driven advice with candid fandom and plenty of light-hearted side chatter (movies, naps, steak vs. chicken, accepting defeat in the semis, how to celebrate vs. your boss, and more). "Fantasy Cops" remains a highlight, handling tricky situations that can arise only in high-stakes playoff weeks.
This episode is an essential resource for playoff managers needing one more edge.
Remember: Don’t overthink your studs; swing for ceiling in deep underdog scenarios; and always clarify league policies before drama arises. And if you’re going to a Hanukkah party during the game… “feel the vibe” before asking to put the game on!
