I want to share a little about our experience hosting on Airbnb. We decided to give it a try as a way to earn some extra income and it's honestly been a great decision. The process was super easy to get started and the flexibility is amazing. We can choose when we want to host, which works around our schedules. One of the best parts about hosting is getting to share our favorite local spots with the guests. Whether it's top restaurants, beautiful beaches, or the best golf courses in town, it's so rewarding when guests enjoy the same places as we do. Hosting has not only helped us earn extra income, but it's allowed us to make the most of our space. If you've got extra space or travel often, hosting might be a great fit for you. Your home might be worth more than you think. Find out how much@airbnb.com host hey FFT.

Listeners, did you know Discover is accepted at 99 of places that take credit cards nationwide? That's right, 99%. And every time you make a purchase with your card, you automatically earn cash back. That could mean earning rewards when you buy those last minute tickets, those overpriced concessions, and that takeout you ate at home after you bailed on meeting your buddies at the bar. Well, wherever you spend game day, remember it pays to Discover. Based on the February 2024 Nielsen report. Learn more at discover.com credit card this is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports.
Adam
What a play. Can you believe this?
Unknown
No, I can't.
Adam
It's time to dominate your fantasy league. This is going to go the distance.
Dan
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath.
Adam
It's mailbag time. Yeah, Bab. Welcome to the show. It's Fantasy Football Today presented by BetMGM, the sportsbook born in Vegas, Adam, Jamie and Dan. Dan thought, you know, I'm just gonna bring. I'm gonna bring the classic shirt, the W back, baby.
Dan
It's back, baby. I dug it up. There it is four sizes too small. The lettering is peeling. It's peeling off the shirt.
Adam
How many sizes too small?
Dan
But this. Four sizes too small. But this, my friends, this. Let me move the mic. This is. Where is that city?
Adam
I appreciate it. You've got. You've got playoff energy.
Dan
I am the Citi Field wh space ere.
Adam
Well, I love the energy that Dan is bringing today. We're going to need it. It's Friday, end of a long week, but the beginning of the football weekend. So I have so many emails to get to. @ fantasy footballbsi.com you can put anything in the subject line, whatever. Just fantasy footballbsi.com if you have a fantasy cops question, you can throw that in the subject line, though. You need to do that. Don't have a lot of News because it's 11:25am but did see the Bucks practice report and left tackle Tristan Wurfs was practicing. That is good news. Remember to follow us Sunday morning at 11:30. Oh, Dan's gonna be on Sunday morning?
Dan
Yes, sir.
Dave
Yeah.
Adam
You excited for that?
Dan
I am excited for that. By then, maybe I can reveal my thoughts on the. On the finale of the Survivor episode. I know a lot of people were, oh, I spoiled it last week. Listen, let me tell you a little note on spoilers. If there's a show where you play a game and you win and that show airs at a certain date, you can't just watch that like a week, two weeks, three weeks later, and then be like, he spoiled it for me.
Adam
Like, is it air?
Dan
What?
Adam
When does it air? What day?
Dan
It's Wednesday. Like, we're. This is Saturday. When people are listening to this. Like, by then you gotta watch the show. Like, I don't know what to tell you. I won't spoil this last episode. I want to. I won't, but.
Adam
Well, that's so noble of you. All right, Sunday, 11:30. Yeah, I know, right? He's fired up. 11:30am Eastern@YouTube.com fantasy football today, I think one of those drones like got to got to Dan injected him with something.
Dan
I haven't seen one since the last episode, so good for me.
Adam
Okay. All right, here we go. Let's start with an email from Jeremy. And he said, quick note to Dan's point about Parks and Rec, such an underrated show, especially when you consider the incredible guest stars Bradley Whitford, genuine Werner Herzog and Michelle Obama. Okay.
Dan
It's the Best. I think it's the best comedy probably in the history of television, I would say.
Adam
All right, that's a great, great way to start. People are really going to trust you.
Dan
Devonte Smith, not including Seinfeld and curb your enthusiasm.
Adam
Devonte smith or Terry McLaurin. Half PPR McLaren.
Dave
But it's close.
Dan
I'm Devonte Smith in that matchup.
Adam
From Tim. Start three half. Also, take a drink every time Dan disagrees with Jamie, which should probably only be like a couple sips.
Dan
That just happened one time.
Adam
I know. I was stunned. Start three and a half.
Dan
By the way, I was right about Bo Nix having a good game. Did you say that on Monday show? Or maybe that was the other. Beyond the box score everyone's scared of? Nope. Chargers defense not the same as it was beginning of the year. Too many injuries. All right, well, Eagles defense will play McLaurin differently. What'd you say?
Dave
Adam did not like Bonix?
Dan
I think Adam was Adam. He was either Adam or Jacob.
Adam
I didn't like Bonix this week. Yeah, no. I benched him against Jamie in the podcast league.
Dave
No, you. I mean, you had a very fall between Purdy and next. I think they're gonna.
Dan
Oh, I don't know if you're gonna get that 21 points out of Ferdie.
Adam
25. 25 last night. Yeah, no, I don't think I will. All right, this is from Tim. Start three and a half PBO after losses. Ken Walker, Marvin Harrison Jr. Jerry, Judy Kendry, Miller, Patrick Taylor. Start three.
Dave
The first two for me would be the best two. And then it comes down to Judy Taylor or Miller. I might take a chance on Miller.
Dan
I actually am taking a chance on Taylor. I think as my third. The obvious first two, though, we stayed with. All right, I can't play Judy no matter what. I'm expecting 130 to 145 yards from Dorian Thompson. Robinson in the passing game.
Adam
Got some thirsty people today. I think that's two disagreements with. With Jamie so far on two questions.
Dave
Listen, Dan's become his own man. He's growing.
Dan
I have the shirt gives me authority.
Dave
He knows. He knows wh space re where it's at.
Adam
All right. This is from a long time listener from the decoy capital of the world. I don't know what that means, but decoy. Maybe it's where decoy Metcalf is from. Happy holiday.
Dan
God, that was bad. I mean, it was. It was such a bad joke.
Adam
I don't know how I feel about this version of dead. He is like Alpha dad right now.
Dave
I mean, he's. Yeah.
Dan
I've never been alpha in my entire life.
Adam
Get a cape. All right. From the podcast to YouTube to the newsletter. So the articles, you've helped me reach fantasy glory over the years, and I owe you a lot of thanks. I need to sit one Cooper Cup. Mike Evans, Terry McLaurin, Brian Thomas Jr. Sit one Cooper Cup.
Dave
Mike Evans, terry McLaurin.
Adam
McLaren Jr. Was the other one, said McLaurin.
Dan
We're not going to get to drink on this one because it's McLaurin for me as well. You just can't. Two of those. You just can't bench. And then cup. I'll throw into strange.
Adam
Henry or Ferguson in ppr.
Dave
Strange.
Dan
Yeah, it's strange for me, too. I kind of like strange this week. And I've been telling a lot of my friends have asked me a lot of decisions. Stranger this, stranger that, and I've been going strange in all of those stranger things. Again. You're really struggling today. This is not like. You don't usually do this. You. You really don't. I'm being honest with you. Two horrible jokes in a row is not your thing.
Adam
I was about to tell you something. I'm actually. This is not. Not a joke. Very serious.
Dan
Okay.
Adam
Very lightheaded right now.
Dan
What.
Adam
During that last email, I almost just, like, was out.
Dan
What'd you do this morning?
Adam
I think I'm getting sick. Because you met this stomach.
Dan
Stomach bug.
Adam
The stomach bug. It's in my house.
Dan
I've never seen anybody as sick as often as really insane.
Adam
I. You need to give me credit. I haven't been sick all season. Not a single day.
Dan
No. Yes, you were. You were sick earlier this season.
Dave
You were sick.
Adam
I didn't miss. I didn't miss a day.
Dan
This to you, like, four times, right? I'll give you credit that it's been like, I don't know, three and a half, four weeks. But, like, that's not normal.
Adam
But I didn't miss any stress. I didn't miss any days.
Dan
No, you don't, Adams.
Dave
Adam's in the cycle, which is the difficult cycle of when his kids are young and they're gonna get sick a lot in school and it's gonna come home and everybody's gonna get sick.
Adam
Yeah, we got the stomach bug actually.
Dan
Adam, though. You know why? Because this is. Well, this is a theory that we don't need to go over, but because Adam is so germaphobic that he doesn't want. He builds up the immune system.
Adam
It's a stupid theory.
Dan
I don't know. Well, you don't leave your house.
Dave
That's part of the problem.
Adam
It's not entirely true.
Dan
Your immune system is just in shock. Anytime anything comes in contact with it.
Adam
I feel like I. You know what? I feel like I gotta give myself a lot of credit. I've been doing very well this year. Not getting sick. Everyone in my house two weeks ago was sick.
Dan
And I play through the pain. You're. You're a tough. You're a tough cookie. But you do get sick.
Adam
I haven't had.
Dave
Well, you know what it is it.
Dan
You're.
Dave
You're like. You're like Superman. You know, you went to Florida, you got your son.
Adam
Yeah.
Dan
And.
Dave
And you recharged.
Adam
That might be it. All right, from.
Dave
I didn't like the new trailer, by the way. I was a little disappointed.
Dan
Yeah, agreed.
Adam
The new trailer of what?
Dave
Superman. New movie.
Adam
Oh, I didn't know.
Dan
Is that an action movie, Adam?
Adam
No. Comic book movies are not action movies. They're comic book movies.
Dave
Oh, you're crazy.
Adam
No, I mean, they're just. They're in their own world. They're in comic. You can't compare Superman to Die Hard, you know?
Dave
I mean, you can.
Adam
No, you can't. I won't allow it.
Dave
That's right. You wouldn't want to compare, you know, comic books to Christmas movies. It's not good.
Adam
Guys, I am so close to finish to finishing the second installment of Lord of the Rings. I am obsessed with it, and I.
Dan
Can'T with the tv, the tv, TV show version.
Adam
Movie. I've never seen the movies, and I watched the first one the few weeks ago I watched the first one. I'm in. I mean, I'm in the middle of the second one. I just. I've been dying so hard, trying so hard to find time to watch. I got an hour and 10 minutes left of the two tags.
Dan
Is your son old enough to watch yet or. No, not really. Okay.
Adam
Oh, speaking of which. And we'll get back to the questions in a minute. So they're both sick. So we watched some movies yesterday, and I was like, oh, I've never seen Eight Crazy Nights. I will watch Eight Crazy Nights with my kids. The first scene starts, like, licking his car in a sensual way. And I was like, okay, this is definitely not a Kids who had no idea.
Dan
What do you think, Adam Sandler was gonna just come in with the most PG movie that was, like, a classic that was right at the edge of Sandler's, like, when he Went from the funniest guy in movies to like, all right, I'll do these like stupid movies with kids or whatever. Like, you know, the kid movies version of Sandler that we have now.
Adam
Okay. All right, start one from Scott.
Dave
A cookie for me.
Adam
D.K. metcalf, Devonte Smith or John O. Smith.
Dan
PPR DeVante. But I could be talking to Johnnu.
Adam
Devonte for you guys. All right, I'll go.
Dan
Definitely not Metcalf.
Adam
Oh, actually John against the Niners are so good against tight ends.
Dave
I. I do think Metcalf is going to have a breakout game this week. Oh, I think we'll find out. You got Ryan breakout week.
Dan
You got to play him then over those two.
Dave
No, no, no. Devonte Smith's gonna have a very good game too. And I think Johnny Smith is. If he. If he wasn't a tight end, I'd say set him the Ryan Grubb's talking about getting in the ball. So he got a little speak. He will get action coming. And the. The matchup's great.
Dan
Yeah, there we go.
Adam
I got one right. This is from John. Hey, Chris. Nicholas and father. Yeah, these are like Santa E things.
Dan
Well, obviously you're talking to the wrong two guys here.
Adam
Oh, yeah, because I'm so. Well, I do celebrate. All right. I have one tight end spot and a. And three flex and a half ppr. Bowers or Kittle?
Dave
Come on, Kittle for me.
Dan
Whoa, really? Oh, wow.
Dave
I stink against tight ends.
Dan
I agree. Matchup wise, there is not a chance in you know what the H space ll that I will be benching Bowers anytime soon.
Adam
Well, good. You can put them in your and.
Dan
We have O'Connell now or it's not guaranteed yet. It's okay. Okay.
Adam
Who do you think is averaging more points per game, by the way?
Dave
Kittle.
Dan
Oh, it is it kiddo. Somehow.
Adam
Yeah. You're not like aware of how good of a year he's having.
Dan
I'm not aware that anyone was in the realm of Brock Bowers.
Adam
Bowers has 30.
Dave
Last month has been bad.
Adam
Says 30 more catches, but in two more games.
Dan
Yeah, but Kittle has four more touchdowns. Yeah, the touchdowns have really pulled propelled.
Dave
Him ahead since mayor came back like three weeks ago. It's been a little frustrating.
Adam
All right, anywho, what am I saying? Where are we here? Okay, okay, so now let's. Let's just say we're going with Kittle.
Dave
Very Leo gets this week.
Adam
I'm telling you, bro, I'm. I'm feeling it. I'm lightheaded.
Dan
Okay, okay. Okay. One thing you might want to do is take the sweatshirt off.
Adam
I can. I have an. Like, a oddly fitting bad shirt for camera.
Dan
Oh, now we really want that sweatshirt off.
Adam
All right, we've got.
Dave
Take it off.
Adam
Bowers, Higgins, Tyreek, Ken Walker, Jerome, Ford, Marvin, Harrison, Khalil, Shakir. Pick three. Bowers, Higgins, Tyreek, Ken, Walker, Jerome, Ford, Marvin, Harrison, Khalil, Shakir.
Dave
The first three Bowers, Tyreek, and Higgins.
Dan
Definitely Tyreek and Higgins. What were a Walker? And who was the other one?
Adam
Jerome, Ford, Marvin, Harrison, Khalil, Shakir. Half ppr.
Dan
Yeah, I'm gonna go Bowers over those guys.
Adam
And then John leaves us with a poem. Twas the week before finals, my lineup was set. Despite consternation, it's as good as we'll get. With breath all abated, I'll hope for high score, but with a heath sigh, my team hits their floor. All right, I like that. Very good. Here's Matt from the City of Drones. One of Dan's shirts.
Dan
Right.
Dave
Dan shirt rhymes with.
Adam
Team ppr. Start two. Pollard, Spears, Charbonnet, Miller. I'm guessing Patrick Taylor, Amir, Abdullah, Pollard, Spears, Charbonnet, Miller, Patrick Taylor, Abdullah, Pollard, Pollard, Spears.
Dave
So if the one is out, the other one's in.
Dan
Sure.
Dave
You went too fast on the names. I'm sorry.
Adam
Yeah. So start at the Titans running back and then pick one. Charbonnet, Kendra, Miller, Patrick Taylor, Amir, Abdullah.
Dave
And it's ppr.
Adam
Yeah.
Dave
It'S between Miller and. And Taylor, and I think we're split on that. So I'd go Miller, I'm Taylor, and that.
Adam
That's Patrick, not Jonathan. All right. Obviously, from Justin to the greatest podcast hosts of all time. It's a great wow. I mean, I love it. I don't know that you should have put an S at the end of host, but that's fine.
Dan
I would agree with that. But he might. He might be thinking about the beyond the Box Score Tuesday show.
Adam
Thank you.
Dave
I mean, we all technically host shows.
Dan
Yeah. Adam, that was a little. This was a little, you know, that had a vibe of a best male podcast, past podcast host of the year.
Dave
Now that Dave hosts a show, we all technically host a show.
Dan
Yeah, we do. Well done, Adam. Well done to discredit us. Thank you.
Adam
I'm going against a team that has Nicks and McConkey. Half PPR. Start 1. Garrett Wilson, JSN, Jacoby Myers, Rico Dowdle, or Jaden Reed.
Dave
Just one.
Dan
Yeah, it's Wilson for me.
Dave
JSN for me from Derek.
Adam
See if I can get my Eric sound bite up from Eric. Half PPR. Pick two.
Dan
That make me laugh. Still.
Adam
Cade Otten, Jada, Jalen, McMillan, Waddle, Phelan, Myers.
Dan
I don't think Waddle's gonna save the.
Adam
Best for last there. Thielen and Myers. Yeah, two, two.
Dave
Myers and McMillan for me.
Adam
Oh, feeling are you McMillan over the.
Dave
Oh, no.
Dan
Yeah, for me for sure. Then I. I think I'm gonna go Myers because AOC is back.
Adam
Next email is from Joe. Start two of these flex options and half people.
Dan
Joe.
Adam
Oh, yeah, I can play that by the way.
Dan
Oh, you know how to play that? Oh, wow.
Adam
Yeah, it's a good, really fun one. I've forgotten it, but I briefly took guitar.
Dan
Pretty impressive.
Adam
I learned that one. It was a fun one. All right, from Joe. Brian Robinson. We need two, by the way. Half PPR. Brian Robinson. Tyrone Tracy, DeAndre Swift, Kendra Miller, Marvin Harrison, DK Metcalf, Calvin Ridley.
Dan
It could be just any two. Yeah, Metcalf and Harrison for me.
Dave
Give me the names again.
Adam
Brian Robinson, Tyrone Tracy, DeAndre Swift, Kendra Miller, Marvin Harrison, DK Metcalf, Calvin Ridley.
Dave
Both receivers out of three, not Ridley. Sorry.
Adam

So believe me, you're going to find several flavors that you love. So if you're just walking around the kitchen looking for something to eat or maybe you're tailgating at the game, wherever you are, reach for some wonderful pistachios, no shells. We're back. All right, this one is from in Iowa. Listen to this. You know, I don't usually read these praiseworthy emails. Or I guess the emails themselves are not praiseworthy.
Dan
But the ones that they're about you.
Adam
Yeah, no, I just thought, you know what? I was like, you know, I'm gonna read this one. This is, this is a good email. Wishing you the best of luck with the podcast awards. He voted.
Dan
Thank you.
Adam
Eric says. I just have to say that listening to FFT has truly transformed my fantasy football experience with kids and work keeping me busier than ever. I haven't been able to watch as much football as I used to. I've been in a league with my college buddies for 14 years now. I actually won the inaugural championship and had a few second place finishes. But then I hit a rough patch and found myself at the bottom of the standings. In fact, I had to play in the toilet bowl three times in the past four years and I lost two of them. But then I stumbled upon the FFT podcast on Spotify right before last season and everything changed. I took your advice and I picked up Pukinakua at the start of the year and I made a triumphant comeback to the top, ultimately winning the league after so many tough years. This year I'm lucky enough to have the top seed and a first round bye. Now I could use some advice in my half PPR league. Pick three of these wide receivers. A.J. brown, Puka Nukua, Brian Thomas, Jr. T. Higgins, Garrett Wilson.
Dan
Those are some great options.
Dave
My gosh, Puka's easy.
Dan
Yep.
Dave
I'm not benching AJ Brown now.
Dan
Nope, not either.
Dave
And I would probably go Brian Thomas.
Dan
I mean, I. I'm not. I'm. I'm almost more so not benching Brian Thomas than not benching AJ Brown. But I'm also not benching AJ Brown, so it's those three for me.
Adam
And then he says, yeah, I'm so awesome.
Dan
And it's. This is only the start of this. Like, I genuinely think he's going to be, what, a borderline one two pick next year. Round one two.
Adam
And I'm so excited to talk about him on beyond the Box Score. Like, he sponsors our show.
Dan
I mean, we talk about him a lot because the stats are that good. That's the reason the tape and the stats are that good.
Adam
Everyone's starting him.
Dan
I mean, I know, but it's not about that. It's like.
Adam
I know, I know.
Dan
Got to talk about how dominant he's been doing this with Mac Jones as well.
Adam
If both Ken Walker and Charbonnet are out, which they won't be, but if they are Tyrone Tracy or Isaiah Pacheco, who do you like better?
Dan
I'm very out on Tracy I don't like. I don't see the path to points for Tracy.
Dave
I feel the exact same way about Pacheco.
Dan
That's right. I can't disagree with that. I just think he's on a better offense and maybe he'll get. And like Pacheco might get the Reds. Are we out on Pacheco getting all red zone? Because I'm out on Tracy at this point in the red zone. I don't think they're going, why? He's. He's. Last week.
Adam
Yeah, I know, but that was just last week. Before that, he had been.
Dan
Singletary scored and Tracy's been fumbling.
Adam
He hasn't fumbled in, like. It's been a little while. It's been like three weeks.
Dan
That's why it's been two weeks. He fumbled two weeks ago and he didn't play as much.
Adam
That's why he fumbled three games ago. Right?
Dan
Three games ago. Correct.
Adam
Yeah.
Dan
No red zone.
Adam
I just said. Yeah. I'm not convinced that Devin Singletary is their goal line back.
Dan
Also, Lock is not. Was not feeding him as many passes in the passing game. He had 10 targets with lock, what, two weeks ago?
Adam
Yeah, against the Saints.
Dan
But in general, I mean, like, intense.
Dave
Targets in that game.
Dan
Yeah, I don't think that's true, first of all.
Adam
Yeah.
Dan
I don't.
Dave
Tyrone Tracy had 10 targets in the game against the Saints.
Adam
Or maybe it was the other game.
Dan
No, I don't think.
Adam
Yeah, he had five catches for 38 yards on 10 targets. Drew Locke threw, like, 46 passes.
Dave
Wow. I don't know how I missed that.
Dan
Yeah. Yeah.
Adam
But in general, he doesn't.
Dan
These are, like, ugly targets, though. Like, I'm watching these games. These are not the targets you want. They're not. They're not. Adam, I don't think if you start Tyrone Tracy, you're. You need luck.
Adam
I don't want to start him. I didn't feel the same way about Pacheco.
Dan
I agree. Pacheco's not much better.
Adam
All right. For some reason, the Giants score a running back rushing touchdown almost every week. It's very strange.
Dave
And now it's Singletary, which sucks.
Adam
Right? I just don't know that it's actually Singletary, you know, for sure. And I don't know that it's Kareem Hunt or Pacheco. Like, Kareem Hunt's role was really stupid last weekend in a way. Not stupid. Stupid for fantasy managers. All right, this is from Owen in Chester, Virginia. Dear Joe, Doug and Mark.
Dan
Joe, Doug and Mark Gottliebs.
Adam
Oh, oh. Commanders or Washington super bowl quarterback.
Dan
Oh, great.
Adam
Theisman Williams Rippin. Okay, mixing Brian Thomas Jr. Or Devonte Adams PPR.
Dan
Brian Thomas Jr. Brian Thomas from Enoch.
Adam
Pick two for Flex. Metcalf, Flowers, Waddle, Kendry, Miller, Charbonnet.
Dave
Waddle's probably not playing.
Dan
Yeah.
Dave
Give me names again.
Adam
Yeah. Metcalf, Flowers, Kendry, Miller, Charbonnet.
Dave
Any three.
Adam
No. Two, two, two.
Dave
Oh, my God. Flowers.
Dan
Yeah. Okay.
Adam
Do you like the song Flowers by Miley Cyrus?
Dan
Dan, I've never. I don't think I've ever heard that song.
Adam
Do you know any Miley Cyrus songs other than Party of the usa?
Dan
I know Party in the USA for sure. I like the big remix better. I know Wrecking Ball was gonna say Wrecking Ball after Wrecking Ball. I'm struggling, though. I do think she's great. And she did a Jolene cover once that was phenomenal.
Adam
You should listen to actually phenomenal on Jimmy Fallon, like right after Tom Petty died performing Wildflowers.
Dan
Oh, that actually sounds awesome.
Adam
It is. It's really very emotional.
Dan
Her voice on Petty. I, I, I'm intrigued by that. I actually think she's incredibly talented.
Adam
Yes, she is. Pick two of four runners.
Dan
Miley Cyrus over Lady Gaga over a lot of these.
Adam
Like, oh, no, no, no.
Dan
Oh, yes, yes, yes. And let me put another one in there over Taylor said that. Yes, I did. I'm not into Swift. I don't get it. I've tried it. It's not my thing.
Adam
She, it's interesting. Like, she's not an exceptional singer.
Dan
It's more, I guess it's a songwriter.
Adam
She's a good songwriter, but no, she doesn't have a great voice. Lady Gaga, though, is like one of the most talented of our generation. Are you kidding? An incredible piano player, the best voice, and a great actress too. I'm a. Come on, dad.
Dave
No, Jalen Waller. Practice.
Dan
A new low point on fft. Talking about Miley Cyrus.
Adam
I no disagree with that. No.
Dan
What?
Adam
Nobody said that when I was talking about Jonah Hill on, on Friday's show. Dan, it's his birthday today on Friday. What's your favorite Jonah Hill movie?
Dan
Oh, wow. My favorite role that he played or just the movie that he was in?
Adam
Favorite movie he was in, honestly.
Dan
I guess it's not aging well. I hope I don't get in trouble saying it, but get him to the Greek. I love that movie.
Adam
Oh, I don't remember that movie I saw.
Dan
Yeah, he's been in some.
Dave
Apparently AJ Brown hurt his knee in practice. Yesterday.
Adam
Well, he was limited in practice. He hurt his knee.
Dan
Oh, he reheard it. I didn't see that he hurt his.
Adam
Knee during the game.
Dave
Well, I'm reading a quote from Jeff. Tweet from Jeff McClain, Nick Sirianni on AJ Brown's knee injury and whether it happened during Thursday's practice. Sirianni said he's limited. I think it's fair to assume the injury happened during the session since Brown didn't enter with the designation.
Adam
Oh, wow. I just figured that was from.
Dan
I thought I saw him enter with it.
Dave
I thought.
Dan
I thought saw him injured earlier this week.
Adam
Interesting.
Dave
I guess we have something to monitor now.
Dan
Wow.
Adam
All right, pick two of four running backs in people.
Dan
I am playing A.J. brown in one of my matchups.
Adam
Pick two or four running backs in PPR. Pacheco, Aaron Jones, Kendry Miller, Taj Spears.
Dave
Aaron Jones.
Dan
Jones. Yeah, yeah, that one.
Dave
Spears easily if Pollard's out and Miller if Pollard isn't.
Adam
Okay, from Owen, would you start Keenan Allen, Khalil Shakir, or Rico Dowdle in ppr?
Dan
Shakir. Full PBR Shakir for me. Wow.
Adam
Is this real? Dan did Miley Cyrus, according to KD did. Nothing else matters with Metallica.
Dan
I don't know. She does a lot of covers and she's actually really downed. And again, I'm taking her over Gaga.
Adam
Yeah, that's crazy. All right, Mike from the real Queen.
Dave
City, the way he said.
Adam
In pbr, her taking over Gaga.
Dave
Yeah, it's like. It's a draft.
Adam
Yeah. Dear Brian, Dom, Mia and Letty.
Dan
Brian, Dom, Mia and so easy.
Dave
Come on. You look. Don't tell me you're looking that up.
Adam
I am.
Dan
Okay, let me try to get it.
Adam
I've never seen. I've never seen these. I've never seen these Entourage characters.
Dan
Dom, what's.
Adam
What is Dan's default. Guess where he's always like, oh, those.
Dave
Are Game of Thrones.
Adam
Or he'll just say like, oh, those are. Those are. Those are like John's. Yeah, it's. I guess it's Fast and Furious.
Dan
Oh, no shot I was getting that 12 team PPR.
Adam
Devonte Smith or Juwan Jennings.
Dave
I can't believe we never had that before, by the way.
Dan
I can't believe how. How few little I've seen of. Of the Fast and Furious series. The only scene I've ever seen is when they were like dragging a safe on a highway and it's like slamming back and forth. It's.
Dave
It's. It's the dumbest, dumbest, dumbest Movies, but they're so entertaining.
Dan
Yeah, yeah.
Adam
I'm not interested. All right. Devonte Smith or Juwan Jennings?
Dave
Jennings.
Dan
Devonte Smith. If A.J. brown doesn't play.
Adam
Okay.
Dave
Yes.
Dan
Yeah. But otherwise Jennings.
Adam
All right. And then remaining flex. Devonte Smith or Aaron Jones? Ppr.
Dan
It's full ppr. I'm going devonte. Regardless of Brown.
Dave
I'll go Jones.
Adam
Oh, this one's my favorite. It's from Brett Dear. Kramer, Dickerson, Metcalf, and B. Enemy. Yeah. Eric's non ppr. James Cook or Malik Neighbors? Non ppr.
Dave
Cook.
Dan
Cook. But it's. It's not nice.
Adam
Why? I'm all about James Cook.
Dan
No, I just think it's not nice because I think Neighbors still should be in play there. But it's not nice because his quarterback situation is so bad that he can't be in play there.
Dave
You got your QB2 back.
Dan
Is that lock?
Dave
No, Davido.
Dan
KB2 for me is boil. From what I've seen on tape, he's been by far the best.
Dave
Well, they just announced it today.
Dan
No, I know, I know. He's not hurt or whatever. Who cares?
Adam
All right. From Nick. Should I keep falling for the James Cook roller coaster? While he hasn't had two bad games in a row this year, he seems to not follow up good games with another good game. Just three times this year when he scored at least 15 half PPR points. Has he at least matched that output the following game? That's actually. That's kind of a lot. I mean, that's. You're asking a lot, you know, so. Yeah. Nick wants to know if he should stay on this James Cook roller coaster against New England.
Dave
Yes.
Adam
Yeah, man. Like at one point, just look at where he is. He said he's like a top eight running back, you know, and this is.
Dan
A game where you could see him scoring. So.
Adam
Yeah. From Kelly. Sorry, that didn't mean that for that sound mean, Nick. I was just supporting James Cook, so it's a valid question. He's been a little up and down. No, like a roller coaster. If you can tell me this movie. I happen to like the roller coaster story. No way. Dan will get it. But, Jamie, you've seen it probably a hundred times. Grandma's telling the roller coaster story. And we got grandma here with the roller coaster story.
Dan
Kind of sounds like a Ryan Reynolds line. I don't know why.
Adam
It's from the 80s.
Dan
Oh, no shot.
Adam
All right. Kelly is.
Dan
You know movies from the 80s because.
Adam
I'm much older than me, youngest of three.
Dan
Yeah, that'll do it. I actually only thought you had an older brother that this lime time live guy. You have two brothers or there's a sister in there?
Adam
My sister is seven years older than I am.
Dan
Wow.
Adam
All right.
Dan
You know, this explains a lot actually about you.
Adam
Okay, hold on. Kendry, Miller, Amir, Abdullah or Jerome Ford, half ppr.
Dave
Ford.
Dan
Yeah, it's Ford. Role wise. You just can't not play Ford there.
Adam
And from Jared.
Dan
What are you laughing at?
Adam
I'll tell you in a second rank. These guys. Half ppr. Tyrone, Tracy, Jerry, Judy, Jerome Ford, Ken Walker.
Dan
Ford, Walker, Tracy, Judy.
Dave
Agree.
Adam
I happen to like the roller coaster story, Jamie. That is Parenthood.
Dave
Great movie.
Adam
One of them.
Dan
You're waiting to come back to that?
Dave
I thought that was.
Dan
I thought that bit was over.
Dave
In one of the stupides.
Dan
Didn't land the first time he tried it.
Dave
In one of the stupidest things you've ever said. Your favorite Keanu Reeves movie.
Dan
What? What's your favorite Keanu Reeves?
Adam
Parenthood.
Dan
What? Are you crazy?
Adam
You've never seen it? You don't know?
Dan
Doesn't matter. It's not better than the Matrix one he forgot about.
Dave
He forgot about John Wick in the Matrix.
Adam
It was right off the top of my head. I wasn't thinking. Like I was.
Dave
I think this is where Adam goes. Somebody asked like, I don't know how it came up.
Adam
I think I was talking about speed, if I remember.
Dave
And what was the. What was your favorite Keanu Reeves? He went straight to Parenthood like over the two. Two of the best series of movies. He skipped right over both of them.
Dan
I mean, Matrix one.
Adam
So honestly, Parenthood is one of the all time greats.
Dan
Stop.
Adam
No, it is.
Dave
I'm not disagreeing with you that it's a very good movie, but it's not a better Keanu Reeves movie.
Adam
It's not really a Keanu Reeves movie. But if they were both on TV, I would 100 watch Parenthood instead of the Matrix.
Dan
Oh, no, I haven't seen the Matrix in a while. I bet it's amazing.
Adam
Still, it is really good. I. I had not seen it growing up. I saw it within the last few years and it's great movie. But Parenthood is. Is a movie that's just gonna make you so, so happy. Well, it's a sentimental movie for me.
Dan
Because you had not seen the Matrix growing up. That was the first time you saw it.
Adam
Yeah.
Dan
God, I don't even know how I've seen a movie before. You did?
Adam
Yeah, for me. It reminds me of my siblings like, we would watch. It would always be on Saturday afternoon. And it was just one of these, like, feel good movies that.
Dave
No wonder you never go outside.
Adam
Why? What do you mean?
Dan
I've been Saturday.
Adam
No, it was just. It was always on. All right.
Dave
Anyway, it's like, can I come out and play? No, Parenthood's on. He's got to see Steve Martin. What's gonna happen next?
Adam
Dan, you should watch Parenthood now. You know, like, it doesn't have any. Any. It's gonna come off. It's gonna come off the wrong way. But Dan doesn't have any heart.
Dan
What the heck was that comment?
Adam
He doesn't like sentimentality.
Dan
Yes, I do. Oh, my God.
Dave
Wearing a shirt from 1986.
Adam
Name one sentimen.
Dan
Name.
Adam
Name one sentimental movie that you like. Name a rom com that. A lot.
Dan
A lot of, like, sentimental movies I like. First of all, I haven't seen a lot of movies, so how about a lot of sentimental series I like?
Adam
Okay, like what?
Dan
Okay, the Wire is a pretty sentimental series at times. At times. At times. Have you seen season four with the kids in the schools?
Adam
That's pretty good. It doesn't count. No, you don't watch sentimentals.
Dan
I'm trying to think. I. I have. First of all, I have a heart, okay? I have a big heart. Let me start by saying that, okay?
Adam
Not when it comes to. Not when it comes to TV and movies.
Dan
I've seen some sentimental stuff that has pulled on the heartstrings. I'm trying to think, how about my girl?
Adam
How do you feel about my girl?
Dan
Like eternal sunshine on spotless mind. Does that count? Like, that's pretty sentimental in some ways.
Adam
I don't think it counts.
Dan
Okay, let me think of some other.
Adam
Have you seen my girl?
Dan
I've never even heard of my girl.
Adam
Yeah, that's like.
Dan
I watch, like, New Girl. That's pretty. Like, rom com.
Adam
No, no, my girl. New Girl. Very different.
Dan
Okay? I. There's something in there. There's something in this heart. There's something in this.
Adam
Dan. Roots for the Giants. If that's not sentimental, I don't know what is. There you go.
Dan
I am not a fan of this. Dan has no hard narrative. This will be. This will be. We will return to this when I have more of Ammo.
Adam
Yeah, I. No, I'm just. Obviously, I was. That was me.
Dan
I know. I know.
Adam
The Dan Adams schtick, but we also have to get to this shtick.
Dave
You're the tin man, Daniel. The tin man.
Dan
Ah.
Adam
Is it the ten man? Who has no heart. All right, here are a couple of fantasy cops questions. This one is from Bob K. It was the end of week 14 heading into the playoffs and there was a tie for sixth place. Tiebreaker rule is total points and then better head to head record. The two teams had matching records and amazingly matching points four which is wild in decimal scoring. To everyone's shock, the team that was.02 in the head to head matchups was given the sixth place spot and the entry to the playoffs. Excuse me. Apparently CBS takes points against into consideration when totaling the team points. So the team with the lower amount of points against got into the playoffs. The commissioner overruled this and put the head to head record winner in because absolutely no one in the league knew that points against was used. The manager that was rejected entry into entry to play. Sorry, the manager that was rejected entry to the playoffs was furious, demanded his league dues back, not a cheap league and will likely not rejoin next season. Do you think the commissioner handled this correctly?
Dave
If the rules are in place, no matter you know about them or not, they're still there. It's your. Your. It's up to you to know what the rules are if they've been established. Commissioner did not do the right thing.
Adam
You think they should use points against as the tiebreaker?
Dave
No, I think it's stupid, but I don't think he changes if that's what's.
Adam
There in this case. They should use points against. Yeah.
Dan
And then I think Amy's right. Like just because it's not the what we want to do now that we can look at in hindsight. It's what the rule was all year and that's what you kind of have to stick to. You can't just change the rule to what you think is fairest or best at the end. That's more unfair.
Adam
You should look at your league settings. I'm going to do this right now.
Dan
Well, look, these are the things that need to be discussed too by the league. Like before. If you're really serious and this is supposed big buy in league like we shouldn't be just like willy nilly, here's we're putting the rules out. Nobody check them, nobody discuss them. Like these are things that you discuss in the off season we every year in my big league we have off season discussion of rules.
Adam
I know, but here's the thing. It is possible and it happens a lot where you just never think of the things to speak about. Right?
Dan
Yeah, that does happen a lot just.
Adam
Popped up and you didn't anticipate it. But like I'm looking at our FFT league that Jamie's the commissioner of. If you go to the league settings in a CBS league and it says the standings tiebreaker and it tells you, you know pretty very specifically, explicitly what the tiebreaker is. And in that league, it's head to head. Is the third one it's not points against. Yeah, so this one, this one says points against, which is scheduled difficulty, which isn't. I'm looking at one of my other leagues I'm in, which isn't really that bad of a tiebreaker. If you think about it like you. You went this. You had this record and this was your points against. Kind of makes sense. I mean, head to head matchup should be ahead of it. But go ahead and look at your league settings because I bet it's there in a CBS league and then you really don't have a leg to stand on. All right, so reverse that and get that guy in the playoff. It's too late now, but whatever. Jethro from Denver is in a 12 team 2 receiver league. Someone in my league out of the playoffs dropped JSN for Xavier Legate last week because he was going to the Panthers game and just wanted to have fun. Other players he could have dropped were Bateman Madison and Russell Wilson. This ticked off the rest of us still in the playoffs. The four of us still in the playoffs made a pact not to pick up jsn. I berated the guy in our group chat who dropped JSN and now he thinks I was being a jerk and he thinks he should be able to drop whoever he wants. Context. This is not uncharacteristic of this manager. He does this all the time. He dropped Sutton after week five when he could have dropped an injured Harrison Butler who is in the wrong. So the commissioner do anything. We do not have a rule saying teams out of the playoffs can't make AD drops. But there is also nothing at stake for those teams either.
Dan
Well, I'll start by saying you have a bad system in place. Unfortunately, as a commissioner, every single league that you play in roster should lock of the teams eliminated from the playoffs. I will not budge on that. I do not need to hear another argument from another side. Doesn't care about that. No, that's. That wasn't me. Again, that was not me. Okay, you co manage a league for charity. Other things can happen. Shout out to my boy. He look, he's trying to bring the best roster. The side note, we don't need to get into this point being rosters need to lock when you get, when you're not eliminated from the playoffs. Let's start by saying that. But the second part is the interesting part to me because it's going to happen in season. Obviously with the Sutton example, I'm not of the, you know, mindset that the commissioner should be policing how somebody manages their roster, who they cut. What you can do is, again, it's harsh, but eliminate this person from the league the next year. If you, if you want the most competitive league, again, depends what you want. If you want a league of friends, have fun, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, that's fine. But like, if you want a competitive league and somebody's just making awful drops that are hurting the competitive balance league.
Dave
Yes.
Dan
You have to kind of have that tough conversation like, listen, you got to play better fantasy or you're not part of this league. It's a competitive league. I don't know what else to say.
Dave
I don't understand why they're allowing AD drops of teams out of the playoffs. Like he just said, like, we don't stop that. Like, why?
Adam
Well, we don't, we don't lock our teams, but, you know, we don't take the time to lock the rosters for the non playoff teams. But we reverse any AD drop.
Dave
Yeah, but why, but he said they allow that though.
Adam
Like, yeah, you're right.
Dave
It's weird. It's a weird. Unless there's like a consolation toilet bowl type thing, you know, where people are still competing. I think if that's the case and you're doing that, then what you have to do is say, okay, you can make your AD drops at the end of the week. You get the scraps.
Adam
I just don't know if you needed to berate the guy in the group chat. You know, that's.
Dan
I can't really speak to that.
Adam
You might have, you might have gone overboard there. Yeah, but this manager is not really being responsible and you shouldn't have to play in a league with someone who's going to drop Cortland Sutton instead of Harrison Butler.
Dave
I think if they're, if they're doing that, then instead of just outright kicking them out, you put it to a vote and say, do we want to keep this person in the league or not and let the majority decide.
Adam
That's so harsh.
Dan
No, no, no, that's. That's not harsh, Adam. That's like the reality.
Adam
Imagine being voted off the island by your friends.
Dan
That's happened before. I've seen my friend Kev shout out. Kevin absolutely got removed from the league I was in. Who was voted out of the league?
Dave
You would rather. Let's, let's just say this was, you know, you, you doing something for fun and I just decided you're out of the league. You'd rather be that way as opposed to everybody else giving you a chance to maybe vote for you.
Adam
No, I, I'd rather the voting. I'd rather the voting, but it's just harsh, you know, like to see I don't know if these people are his friends or not. That's tough. I wouldn't want to vote. I wouldn't want to vote on my friend's status in a league, I'll tell you that. But I wouldn't be friends with someone like this. All right, that's it for the Fantasy Cops. Thanks so much for your Fantasy Cops questions. We'll be right back with your Apple podcast questions and then your YouTube comments on fantasy football today after this break.

Dan
I'll say this Adam, my fantasy cop general demeanor and responses probably isn't doing a great job of explaining that I of pointing me in the direction of having the, the heart that I was claimed to not have by you earlier on the show.
Adam
You have, you have plenty of heart. But when it comes to, when it comes to TV and movies, you don't have a lot of sentimentality. You are okay, like kind of action Jackson over there.
Dan
No, I don't like action movies. So that's wrong.
Adam
That wasn't the right one for it.
Dan
Yeah, I like like thinking movies, dramas shows as well, but sci fi. But I'm just trying to think like I feel like there are movies that I can get sentimental about. Like okay, let me explain something.
Adam
Let's get you know, from the chat. Who are your favorite? What are your favorite sentimental tear jerker movies or TV shows? Let's say movies. What are your favorites? You know, let's hear some suggestions and maybe Dan's seen some.
Dan
Yeah, I might have seen him and I'll see how I feel after I've seen them. Like there are other stuff. Like I, you know, Requiem for a Dream. I watched that one time. It like haunted me for a week. Like emotionally.
Adam
Oh yeah, that's really one. You horrible about myself with your cuddle up with your with your girl and watch Requiem.
Dan
No, it's not that kind of sentimentality but it shows empathy and just like an overall sense of dread that comes from watching that movie.
Adam
You have empathy.
Dan
Pursuit of Happiness, Will Smith. I love that movie.
Adam
There you go. Pursuit of Happiness.
Dan
I love that movie when oh my God, the scene where the boss says can I have the $5? It's his last $5. He gives it to him. Just unbelievable.
Dave
The one that gets me in that movie is when, when his son drops the Captain America.
Dan
I don't know, I don't remember.
Dave
They're racing for the bus and he drops the toy and he can't go back.
Dan
Oh the toy. Yeah. Okay, I got you.
Adam
How about Forrest Gump?
Dan
Jim says, I've seen Forrest Gump. I love Forrest Gump. Great movie.
Adam
Ghost Dad.
Dan
I don't know Ghost Dad.
Adam
No, Ghost dad is an old Bill Cosby movie.
Dave
Cool Runnings.
Adam
Cool Runnings.
Dan
Yeah.
Adam
Very simple.
Dan
Click.
Adam
Oh, click. Click. I cried my eyes out, but not because I was enjoying it, because it's the most. What's the word I'm looking for? It's unnecessarily sad. It is. It wallops you with five minutes of heartbreak at one.
Dave
I would give anything for that remote control.
Adam
I know, right? Yeah. Geez. But, oh, my God, the things that happened in like a five minute stretch are just awful. And I'm sitting there, I was crying, and I was like, why? I'm not even that into this movie, but it's. It's so sad. Don't watch Click.
Dave
Yeah.
Adam
Click. Oh, my God. Exactly. Oh, how about Up? Have you seen Up?
Dan
Yeah, I love Up. See, Actually, you know what? I've seen all of those. Like, I've seen a bunch of those Disney Pixar movies, and I do feel sentimental during those. So. Yeah, you know what?
Adam
Click will break them in.
Dan
Oh, wait, I have more than you guys think. Like, what was that movie that everybody loves? One of the best movies of all time with Morgan Freeman getting out of prison. Yeah. Yeah. Shawshank. Love Shawshank.
Adam
Yeah. Saving Private Ryan. Have you seen Saving Private Ryan?
Dan
Yeah. Another sentimental I've seen. So I. I don't think this is a good narrative. I think I've debunked it already.
Adam
I. I'm surprised you've seen Saving Private Ryan. Okay, here are Apple podcast questions. This One is from TS76. Recently, I've decided Dan and I need to play a round of mediocre golf and argue about his ridiculous takes the whole time.
Dave
Time.
Dan
Love it.
Adam
Yeah, hit me up, Standards.
Dan
Find me out somewhere where I can still play.
Adam
Standard scoring. Sit two. Jerry, Judy, Khalil, Shakir, Joe Mixon, Bucky Irving, Breece hall, and Brian Robinson Jr. Judy's easy one.
Dave
If hall gets through a full day of practice today, no issues. I would sit Brian Robinson.
Dan
Did you say pbr Adam scoring.
Adam
But you have to start one of the wide receivers, so you can't sit Judy and Shakira.
Dan
I would play Shakira anyway. Well, standard I don't love, but play Shakir. And so now I need to sit one of Brian Robinson and who else?
Adam
Bucky Irving, Joe Mixon, Breeze Hall.
Dan
No, I'm sitting Ryan Robinson.
Adam
All right, let's get to this one here. Love the show. From JBE Plur. Love Dan's insane rants. You're a popular guy in the comments today.
Dan
I'm having a good day. But you know what? I appreciate you not reading all the other hate ones. It's a love hate thing. I, I've polarized myself in this community, which I respect.
Adam
You're very loved. Half PPR Bench three. Garendo Achan, Ken Walker, Chuba. Let's how about start three because there's six here. Start three. Garando's out. Hn Ken Walker, Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle.
Dan
Bucky Irving, Hubbard A Chan.
Dave
Bucky Achan.
Adam
Bucky Dowdle and from nc Dino or Dino. I voted for you for best sports podcast. Thank you. I wanted your thoughts on where T. Higgins may end up next year.
Dan
Great question. That's going to be fun.
Dave
I have two, three teams that I think make some sense.
Dan
Okay.
Dave
Two of them played last night, Chargers and Broncos. So you could see a need for a receiver there in both those spots. And the commanders, those are all good picks.
Dan
I'm gonna go with the Bengals. I think Joe Burrow is making a really clear case to ownership. I want this guy. I'm Joe Burrow. Do right by me and I think they will.
Dave
Did you see there was a. I didn't get a chance to read it on the Friday morning show when I was looking at the the T. Higgins News. Jamar Chase was asked about T. Higgins signing with his agent, and I assume he meant about the agency, but he said, we're going to be together for life.
Dan
Wow. Well, that's interesting. But I, I think that's what's going to happen. Look, they are notoriously cheap owners, the Bengals or ownership, whatever you want to call it, but they, they have to get this done. They just, this is the spot for them. They have Joe Burrow. This is it. Get it done.
Dave
Yeah, I, I, I would love it, but it just feels like that's a franchise killer to spend all that money on two receivers.
Dan
I think the Eagles do it. They did Brown and Devonte and they're still fine. You just have to work the cap like Howie Roseman and you're good to go. Like, just push everything down the line just like the Saints did. And now the Saints are finally hitting their their time. It's like, so what?
Adam
The Cowboys really are. The Cowboys really are hitting their similar type of thing.
Dan
The Cowboys have gotten to that point, but it's like throughout that time, they signed whoever they wanted. And that's similar with, I mean, the.
Dave
Bengals worked out really well for the Saints and the Cowboys.
Dan
It didn't. But they didn't have a Joe Burrow, did they? And that's the thing. And when you have the quarterback, you can, in my opinion, you can take the.
Dave
I guess, I guess if you're saying the Saints started doing that during Drew Brees, that's fine, right?
Dan
They started doing it during Drew Brees.
Adam
Look at this. Dan has the best takes consistently.
Dan
Wow. I love. This is my show today. This is my outside of the, the, the moment where Adam said I didn't have a heart. This is my show today.
Adam
Kyler or Stafford in four point for passing touchdown leagues.
Dan
It's so hard. But I'm gonna go Kyler. I, I thought Kyler was gonna have such a good game last week and he killed me in so many leagues. But I'll go Kyler.
Adam
All right, we're into our YouTube comments now. I want to thank everybody, of course, for, for being here, helping us, you know, with content. You guys drive the mailbag show, so.
Dan
Agreed.
Adam
Might be the last mailbag that you listen to this season. We'll have one more next week. But I know once people get eliminated they we hope you stick around, but some of you don't. That's fine. So thank you. So thank you so much for just being part of it all year. Rashad White or jsn. Half ppr.
Dave
Jason?
Dan
Yeah, it's got to go JSN there.
Adam
Friar Muth Hawkinson or Brenton Strange? Full ppr.
Dan
Strange.
Dave
Yep.
Adam
And Ken Walker. We need two Ken Walker, JSN Jacoby.
Dan
Myers, Jameson Williams, JSN and JMO for me in full ppr.
Dave
I want nothing to do with JMO this week. Give me Myers and Jason London, Higgins.
Adam
Lamb, Bucky, sit one London, Higgins, Lamb, Bucky, London.
Dan
I'll sit London too. Yeah. First week with Penix though. I think it's going to be good ever. This is my thing. There's a lot of consternation around playing Pennix this week in two QB leagues. Obviously in one QB leagues you probably don't have to. I think he's gonna have a very good first start.
Adam
How come?
Dan
Because the Giants defense is just a shell of itself that all of their starters are injured. They have like four guys they recently signed, signed, playing like big roles. It's a disaster and a joke and it's as easy of a spot as it gets for a rookie quarterback starting. And yeah, this year we've had a lot of bad first starts for quarterbacks, but in the past, there's been some really good ones. Daniel Jones versus Tampa in 2019, like, that's the first one comes to mind. But, like, it's not impossible to have a good first start.
Adam
Yeah. Wasn't Will Levis's first start incredible?
Dan
Yes. Well, Levis's first start's a great example of a terrible quarterback with a great first start. I mean, it's a terrible quarterback. I've been saying it for years on the show, and he's not starting.
Dave
I'll go back to what I said on Friday. If they allow him to throw, I think there's a chance for a potentially good game. It's a matter of will they limit his throws, get him comfortable knowing that they could just get their win and go home? Because that's right.
Dan
Good point. And it's the Giants. You don't really have to throw. That is a good point.
Adam
Yep. Fewest quarterback past attempts against in the NFL.
Dan
Wow.
Adam
By the way, Dan, when it comes to Will Levis, maybe you should have a little heart.
Dan
I don't. But it's not. It's not a matter of heart. It's a take I had that I'm correct on, and I'm wrong on so many others that I want to barrel it back.
Adam
Oh, I have a question for you after this one from James. Non PPR. Start three. Justin Jefferson, Brian Thomas Jr. Yes. Yes. So start one. Mooney Thielen. Waddle Hollywood.
Dave
There's no question.
Adam
It's feeling.
Dan
Yeah. It's stealing.
Dave
Oh, I'm sorry. It is close. Between Thiel and Mooney. I go Thielen. But yeah, I was looking at the other two like, you can't play Hollywood.
Dan
And for sure.
Adam
I saw a tweet from Dan. I want to get your. I'll get your opinion. Oh, it said something like, I've talked to, like, 13 Miami fans.
Dan
You're one of them.
Adam
Yeah. How many Miami fans do you know that are also Giants fans who don't believe.
Dan
No, I said some are Giants.
Adam
Right. But how many Miami fans do you know? How do you know Miami fans?
Dan
I know a ton of Miami fans. I have two. Through a group I made friends with the Pandemic. I don't need to go through this.
Adam
I don't buy the tweet. I don't buy it.
Dan
It's true. It's. I mean, it's nothing. Dubai. Miami's a popular school, and I know a lot of people who went there.
Dave
And you have 13. Exactly.
Dan
Well, I mean, some Would some would listen to this and say this doesn't even have 13 friends, let alone 13 Miami friends. But it's not 13 exactly. I said like 10. Between 10 and 15.
Adam
And none of us are sold on cam word that was.
Dan
Every single one has said the same thing that they're not sold or iffy about it. I don't want to hear that going into a draft. Like, I don't want to. The fan is the one who's supposed to be like, yes, this guy's awesome. Like last year, Kevin Steinl, who we work with, he runs the NFL. He runs the NFL editorial. He loved Drake May. He's a UNC fan and I love May too. And he. That's what I want to hear. I want to hear full blown optimism as we head into the I like.
Adam
Him better than I like Dre.
Dan
Well, that was a bad take you had on May from the start.
Adam
I mean, what did I say about Drake? May. He. He makes.
Dan
You didn't like him. And the guy, 6 foot 5 run, throws as the best arm talent, makes.
Adam
Too many mistakes and he's. He throws an interception every game. Game.
Dan
Oh yeah. Working with those receivers in the worst offensive line allowed 40 pressure rate.
Adam
Pretty encouraged by his rookie season. I'll say that. He's been.
Dan
He's very encouraging.
Adam
But Ward I like better than May. But May does have that size. All right, if Pollard sits, would you start Spears or Hall?
Dave
Spears.
Dan
Yeah, you got to go.
Adam
Spears, McMillan, Devonte Smith, I'm guessing that is. Or Marvin Harrison Jr.
Dan
I mean if it's Devonte, it's definitely Devonte here. Especially if Brown is hurt.
Dave
Yep.
Adam
Pick two in PPR Evans. Bucky Irving. CD Lamb.
Dan
Evans. Wow. Lamb.
Adam
Tough.
Dan
Yeah. Adam, it's full pbr.
Adam
Yeah. Bucky's so good though. Okay, Hertz or Baker Mayfield?
Dan
Hertz.
Adam
Hertz, Jacoby Myers or Brian Thomas Jr. Hawkinson or LaPorta. And then Eagles, Bills or Falcons?
Dan
PCJ LaPorta. And then it gets interesting. Falcons agree.
Adam
Good thing your Canes fans aren't professional scouts. Canes fans.
Dan
Well, yeah, that's the thing. Everyone's. And I said it in the tweet. I was like this is not like a barometer of what's going to. If this person's going to player is going to be good or work out just a fan take. But it is just weird to me that like I haven't talked to Miami fan. That's like this guy is the real deal.
Adam
I know what it is. It's. It's the. It's we're one of. Honestly, we're one of those fan bases that's like the Giants where it's just. We just.
Dan
You've been beaten down so much.
Adam
Yeah.
Dan
Expect the worst.
Adam
Yeah.
Dan
No, it happens. I understand that. Fandom.
Adam
I'm not joking. That's really what.
Dan
That's how it feels with as a Badger fan these days as well. Never was like that. But these last five years have been just so miserable.
Adam
Bench one, Marvin Harrison Jr. LaPorta. John O. Jacoby Myers. One more question here.
Dan
Yeah.
Adam
And it's gonna be. Oh, real, real topical one. Actually, it is with the running backs, Calvin Austin or Miller. Madison Abdullah.
Dan
That's tough. I'm going. Kendra Miller.
Dave
I think I'm gonna go.
Dan
Liking it. Not liking.
Adam
Yeah, go Madison, too. Wow. A lot of disagreement between Dan and Jamie today.
Dan
Yeah.
Dave
You got a lot of people drunk.
Adam
I just assumed they were drinking water. All right, well, then go ahead, take your bathroom break, folks. We are out of here. We'll talk to you Sunday. Very excited to have Dan on the Sunday morning show. It's gonna be all heart on that show. And have a great weekend, everybody. Good luck. Let's advance. Let's, let's get a win. Let's get to our championship. We'll see you later.
Dan
