A
What a play. Can you believe this? No, I can't.
B
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
A
Off to the races and he stays on his feet.
B
This is going to go the distance.
C
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath.
A
Okay, we are drafting. Welcome everybody to Fantasy Football today presented by BetMGM. Make it legendary 12 team 3 wide receiver PPR league and the draft is underway with Bijan Robinson off the board with the first pick, Adam Mazer, Dave Richard, Heath Cummings and Jamie Eisenberg. All right, we're going to take you through this draft. Let's see how early will the first quarterback go. Round three or you think later? Heath.
B
Round three Dave Round four JB Round three.
A
Okay, we'll see recent trends in our in our drafts have been closer to round four, I think into round four, but we will see. Will we get more than six running backs in round one? Heath? No, Dave. That'd be a lot.
B
I think we'll get exactly six.
A
Jamie?
D
Six sounds right.
A
And do you guys have any strategy? Are you just gonna kind of wing it, see what happens? Just.
C
Just trying to find the players?
A
Well, yeah, no, it's fun.
C
And, like, I say that as a joke, but it's. It's funny how we can do a draft like this in August and it feels like doing something with AI, Like, I'm just. I can almost not even be present and talk on a podcast. And she's like, yep, this guy's next. This guy's next. This guy's next.
A
Yeah.
C
And doing this exercise in February when we don't know, 25 or 25% of the guys are going to be playing or whatever is much more stressful. Doing it while podcasting, Insane.
B
There's going to be a dozen people who aren't even going to be drafted in this draft that will be drafted in August as well.
C
And Jamie's going to be cursing because there's also going to be a. A dozen people who clock out.
A
I. I like this because it only.
D
Usually in the beginning, time to chat.
B
Everybody gets well, then you just start making picks for everybody. And the thing.
D
I don't.
A
You should. Well, yeah, Right. It gives us a little time to chat. All right, so we've got this. Here's the deal. 12, Team 3. Three wide receiver, as I mentioned, PPR, one quarterback, two running backs, one tight end, and a flex. We are not drafting DSTs or kickers. We have six bench spots. Where are you guys picking? I have the 10th pick. Oh, God.
C
11.
A
How annoying. 11 is Heath, 12 is Jamie. What was that?
B
That was the app that we're using to show the results of the draft.
D
All right.
A
Dave, you said you're seventh.
B
That's me. Number seven.
A
Okay. All right, so 10, 11, 12 is Adam Heath, Jamie. Which is interesting because there's someone I really want in the second round. And if you guys weren't picking 11th and 12th, I think I'd get them, but I'm not convinced that I will. So far. Jacob Gibbs, we're waiting for him. He's on the clock at three. So far, we have Bijan one and Jamar Chase two. So, Heath, I'm going to give you some numbers real quick. Talking about those top three receivers. Jamar Chase vs. Puka vs. JSN Puka averaged 23.6 points per game. Jamar Chase averaged 19.7. Jamar Chase averaged 20 points per game in the last six weeks of the year when Joe Burrow was back. So. So Puka killed him 23.6 points per game. But last year, 2024, Chase averaged 23.7 points per game. So their. Their peaks were nearly identical. Do you have a preference between the two?
C
Yeah, it'll be Chase. And I think, like, really the only way that you don't have Chase as wide receiver one. And I've been going through my projections process, and this just kind of reminded me is like, how much risk do you want to factor into the Bengals that one of the big three, or in this case Chase or Burrow is going to miss some time because unfortunately we haven't gotten a huge sample of this offense all being there and functional. We. But whenever it happens, Chase is absolutely insane. And so Chase is wide receiver one.
A
Okay, let me give you guys some notes on the Bengals offense. Joe Burton, weeks 13 through 18. Joe Burrow came back. T. Higgins missed two of those games, but Joe Burrow averaged 24.8 points per game and 6 point for passing touchdown leagues good enough for QB5. He did that with very little rushing on pace for only 108 rushing yards. Chase Brown was RB2 per game. Jamar Chase was wide receiver three per game behind Puka and Olave. And T. Higgins was wide receiver seven per game. So that was pretty cool. Let's see, we got some picks flying off the board here as Dave just took Devon H. And it's Bijan Chase, Puka nakua, Jameer Gibbs, JSN Christian McCaffrey and Devon Achan. Jamie, before we go any further, want to tell us who's participating in today's draft?
B
Sure.
D
So we have from our staff, the four of us and Jacob Gibbs and Brandon Howard and Marilyn Berksen. I believe that is all the. Oh, and RJ White. And then we have three of our podcast listeners, Johnny Airport Gamer, Eric and Bradley Kernett. Brad and Johnny have been with a few of our drafts. This is the second one for Eric and the reason Brad and Johnny started drafting with us because they won the super leftover leagues, two of the three super leftover leagues. And then we have Rob Thomas, our esteemed Facebook moderator, joining us as well.
A
We have Gamer who Eric. Oh, Eric. It was. It was muted. Okay, we have Amon Ross, St. Brown and C.D. lamb off the board and very handsome man on the clock right now who is consulting his rankings from a month and A half ago.
C
Oh, that's.
A
This is when I would take Amarian Hampton. Do I believe in that pick?
C
Do it.
A
You know what? Remember I said there was somebody I really wanted to get in round two. I'm going to take him in round one because I believe in it so strongly. And it's chase Brown at 10 overall. As I mentioned, with Joe Burrow back, he was RB2 per game down the stretch. He was top five per game last year when. After. After he became the starter in 2024. So Chase Brown is my pick. Jonathan Taylor to Heat to Heath. And now Jamie, you're up for two picks. What are we going to do?
D
We are going to take James Cook with one. So once I nice.
B
I can take them for you if you want.
D
Nope, I got it. And then.
B
Okay, mister, I gotta do it all.
D
And then I'm gonna take a Mario Hampton.
A
Would you. Would either of you have taken Chase Brown in the first or second round if I had not?
D
No.
C
He was not on my list. But honestly, when it was your turn to pick it 10th, there were two players in my queue and I'm just going ended up taking those two players, which is good because I had no idea who I was going to put in the queue next. I will take. After taking Jonathan Taylor, I will take Drake London.
A
Drake London. Okay, so that's Drake London before Justin Jefferson, before Malik Neighbors, before Nico Collins. And Jamie went running back. Running back. Heath went running back, receiver. I'm on the clock with Chase Brown. And while you think about that, seven.
B
Running backs went in round one and eight running backs in the first 13 picks.
A
Yeah. And I really, I. I like Barkley here. I think he bounces back. Jacobs is super safe here, but McBride is so tempting here.
C
Yep.
A
And Jefferson is pretty tempting here, too. I'll go with McBride. Okay. All right. So I don't usually take tight ends this early. This will be an interesting one for me. Still no quarterbacks, obviously. We'll see where Bowers goes. Bowers should have a much better year. And we get Ashton Genti going after Trey McBride from gamer Eric. There he is. Heath. Talk about Drake London ahead of Jefferson and Nico and Neighbors.
C
Yeah, I mean, we've still. This is one of many teams where we still have a lot to figure out, but I expect he's going to be close to 10 targets per game. And you just hope that they've got a quarterback that can get the ball in his vicinity and he has a chance. He was. He was close to being my round one pick.
A

B
They're literally the two names in my queue ahead of Justin Jefferson. I would have loved to have gotten my hands on either one of them. That would have meant starting running back, running back if I had gotten Genty. I know what the pitfalls are with Malik Neighbors just because of his health, but they're gone. I can't take them. It's the next best available player and to me it's Justin Jefferson. What's changed in the last month with Jefferson? It sounds like the Vikings are definitely not committed to JJ McCarthy as their starting quarterback. They can bring in somebody else. I don't know who they're going to bring in because there aren't a ton of great quarterbacks that are out there for for them to add to their mix. But they added Carson Wentz and he played for five games with them and that's Carson Wentz. How did Justin Jefferson do in those games with Carson Wentz? 16.3 PPR points per game, 10 targets per game. Heath already talked about it. He expects double digit targets per game for Justin Jefferson. It is not going to be crazy at all for Jettas to be a second round pick in 2026.
A
Okay, and and Carson Wentz in those games I'll try to get his 17 game pace. I mean it's not like he was amazing or anything like that. He Sorry, it's taking a little while but I'll get that for you. All right. Some more picks coming off the board here. By the way, the best available players based on last year would be George Pickens, Derrick Henry and Chris Olave. We get that would be overall scoring not per game. Rashee Rice Machine Rice makes a lot of sense. He comes off the board. He was a top five wide receiver per game. Sakewan Barkley. He is the first Eagles player to come off the board. And then here's Nico Collins. Jamie, we're going to talk about this, I think on FFT Express, but we haven't talked so much about the Eagles and their fantasy outlooks. But you've got, you've got their offensive line coach gone. You've got, they couldn't seem to get the offensive coordinator coordinator they wanted. You've got maybe Lane Johnson retiring, maybe Landon Dickerson gone. Are you optimistic now about the Eagles bouncing back? Like what, a 0 to 10? What's your optimism level on the bounce back?
D
6.
A
Same question. Heath.
C
So I, yeah, I guess, like I, I think they'll be a little better. 7.
B
Dave, I don't know who's going to be on the team. I mean, I know Hertz will be on the team and Saquon and Devonte Smith. Give me a six. I think that's the right number.
A
Okay, after Barkley, we get Nico Collins, then we get Josh Jacobs. I mean that's just. Why not take Josh Jacobs? He goes 22nd overall coming off a very good year. Is there anything not to like about Josh Jacobs? I mean, workhorse running back, good offense.
B
You know, that's a good call. I mean, average almost 16 PPR points per game. And that workhorse role in his first nine games, I mean, we were talking north of 20 touches per game in those first nine and he averaged almost 20 PPR points per game. Can he, can he do that for a full season in his age 28 year with a, with an offense that's got some question marks on the offensive line? I, I think that that's the hesitation. By the time we get to August, man, there might not be much hesitation. We might be fully bought in all over again with Josh Jacobs and there's George Pickens.
A
So let me recap for everybody here. Let's go to round one. Round one was Bijan Chase, Puka Gibbs, JSN McCaffrey, Achan St. Brown, Lamb, Chase Brown, Jonathan Taylor and James Cook. Round two was Hampton, London McBride, Genty neighbors Jefferson, Rashee Rice, Barkley, Nico Collins, Josh Jacobs, George Pickens, Brock Bowers. Jamie, you were the only player, only person rather to start running back, running back with Cook and Hampton. How do you feel about that? Or should we wait rounds three and four to know? But you did what, what were your, what was your thought there? You could have taken McBride, you could have taken London, Neighbors, Jefferson, Rasheed Rice. You went with cooking Hampton.
D
Yeah, I want, I wanted to see how this plays out the, the, the way that I have it. Ranked would, would have been McBride over Hampton, but I want to see what it looks like running back, running back. I think I took McBride, I think I went, I had a married super flex draft, but I think I took running back, tight end before taking a receiver in that draft also. So I just want to see how this kind of looks, which receivers will fall to that range. Not opposed to also pivoting to potentially another running back if a guy that I like falls there. But we'll see how this all plays out.
A
All right, let's take a quick break here. I want to talk about the four running backs who have gone in the last seven picks, Barkley, Jacobs, Bucky and Derrick Henry. And we'll be right back on Fantasy Football Today. NFL fans spend an average of 690.

All right, Dave, Again, these running backs who were just selected kind of mid to late round two and then into early round three were Barkley Jacobs, Bucky Irving, and Derrick Henry. How would you rank those four?
B
Give me the names one more time.
A
Yeah. Barkley Jacobs, Bucky Henry.
B
I think I have it. Barkley Jacobs. Henry.
A
Bucky Jacobs. Henry, Buck. Okay. Anyone? Heath, you have, like, a strong take there. Barkley Jacobs, Bucky Henry.
C
You know, I just, like I said, I've been working on the. The 2026 projections, and those four running backs are within five spots in the projections. So I don't think my order is necessarily the same, but that I would. I don't have a huge point of dispute, especially, especially with the first three and Bucky Irving.
A
So his new offensive coordinator just said that he's coming from over from Atlanta, said he sees Bucky Irving's role in the passing game similar to Bijan Robinson in terms of the things he can do.
C
That's the upside.
A
That's what we need. We need that. You know, he, he, he. We don't know if Rashad White's gonna be back on the team, and that would be a huge role for Bucky Irving to get, but this guy was not startable. I mean, down the stretch, weeks 15 through 18, he scored 8.1, 7.1, 8.3, and 10.8 PPR fantasy points per game. He had seven catches in those four games, and five of them were in one game. So.
C
And part of the reason that he needs that, and there have been a lot of charts going around Twitter this past couple of weeks showing running back efficiency is he was one of the least efficient rushers in the NFL last year in terms of both yards before contact yards after contact, he just wasn't. And maybe that's because he was hurt.
A
Right.
C
But we also need. I said that's the upside with the receiving, because him being that inefficient compared to the other rushers around him last year presents a much lower floor than I think we had going into this past year that. I mean, maybe Robinson would like to bring in Tyler Alier and just give him the early downs work.
A
Hold on one sec. Dave, don't make your pick unless you already did. Let's talk it out.
B
I haven't made it yet.
A
Okay, so that. We were just talking about Bucky Irving. He was the first pick of round three. Then it was Henry, then it was McMillan, then it was Chris Olave, who, with Tyler Schuck as the starter, was. Was awesome. He was on pace for 1400 yards and 14 touchdowns. Dave, you were on the clock. Sorry. If you can, you know, maybe get a fresh timer there. Then it was Kyron Williams, then Ken Walker. And then I saw this look on Dave's face like, oh, I wanted Ken Walker, but where are you now, Dave? You have Achan and Jefferson didn't want Ken Walker.
B
I've got a tough choice to make between the fun running back and the receiver who should be good, but has never been good in his first three years. And he's a Jet. And I feel like that's what it comes down to when I'm in a situation like this where there's two players who I'm okay with, but I recognize, like, what the. What the pitfalls are with each of them. I want to look at what's going to be left on the draft board when I'm up again and I'm picking in the middle of the round. So we're talking about middle round four, and running back is already thinned out. We just saw Walker go. Kyron Williams went. I think I'm going to lean towards Scatterboo. And I know that there's all sorts of injury concerns with him, but when he played, he was awesome. We're talking about somebody who could average close to 20 PPR points per game. So I'm gonna pass on Garrett Wilson. I doubt he makes it back to me. I'm gonna take Scatter Boo. Now I've got a Chan and Scatter Boo. At bare minimum, I've got two running backs with huge upside from week to week. It's just, how many weeks am I going to get out of Scatter Boo before he Breaks down, you can count on me trying to get my hands on Tyrone Tracy in a few rounds.
D
Yeah.
A
Garrett Wilson, by the way, was wide receiver 12, 1, 2, 3, 10 per game. Wide receiver, 10 per game in weeks one through six.
B
That included most of those games with Justin Fields. So not exactly a prolific passing attack in New York either.
A
Exactly. And one of those games was three catches for 13 yards against Denver. You know, you take that game out, you're talking about a top five guy, probably. So he did. He did have his best season. And this is kind of where Garrett Wilson was going late in the third round a year ago or. Sorry, August. And I didn't like it. I. I was. I thought he was going to be a bust, but now I was wrong, obviously. So, I mean, well. Oh, he just went, damn. You know, Eric Jerk. All right, so Scatterboo, RJ Harvey. And now I think, oh, T. Higgins is still available. Higgins and A.J. brown. Who should Adam pick? I have Chase Brown and Trey McBride.
B
I refer to yourself in third person.
A
Well, I think I deserve it at this point.
B
Then you went right back to second person.
A
Breeze Hall.
B
First person.
A
I think I. I think I don't want any. Anything to do with the jets, so I'm not going to take Breece Hall. Am I missing a running back here? I'm running out of time. Let's go with. Let's go with T. Higgins. Damn it. I should have taken A.J. brown. Why didn't I take A.J.
C
Brown?
A
All right.
B
He thought, Jamie, will you let him back up and take A.J. brown?
A
No, it's okay.
D
That's what he wants.
A
That's all right. Higgins is fine. Higgins is very safe there.
C
You took T. Higgins. I was basically for the last eight picks, hoping that one of T. Higgins or A.J. brown would make it to me. And I thought, like, there's also a running back that I would consider here. But looking, you got to look at your draft board. You got to see Jamie in the 12 spot. You got to see all green, a couple of running backs.
D
Oh, don't. Don't rule it out.
C
But you could. You could take Josh Allen and another running back and just go, go true zero wide receiver. But I'm. I'm going to take A.J. brown. And I think also from Jamie's perspective, like, that's a. You look at the first nine picks or eight picks of that round, it's like, oh, this is going really well for the guy that needs to wait on wide receiver. And then a lot of times, the last three picks before you get there are the three wide receivers.
A
Yeah. Garrett Wilson, T. Higgins, A.J. brown. Off the board. I'm actually having trouble thinking of which running back to take right now. Jamie has two of them, so he doesn't have to worry about that. He has Cook and Hampton. He's on the clock for two picks here at the end of round three and the beginning of round.
B
Or some of those running backs that you're thinking about.
A
Who, me?
B
Yeah. Let's compare notes. No, give me your three running backs that you're.
A
I would think about. I would think about Breeze hall here.
B
Yes.
A
I would honestly like the Jaguars starting running back here, but I don't. There was a report that it's not going to be etn. That he's not gonna be on the team. So I. Basil Tutin would be interesting here, but I think That's a reach. DeAndre Swift, maybe, but I don't know. I feel like Breeze hall is the only guy, but I must be missing someone. I. I don't want to take judges.
C
You are missing the guy that I. That I had in my queue and was. Was planning on taking after Jamie picked. So I'll just go ahead and take Quinch on Judkins.
A
Yeah. See that. I was about to say, like, I love him, but that's a serious injury he's coming off of. So how do you feeling? And it was late in the season, too. Jamie took lad McConkey and Josh Allen, and then Heath took Quinch on Judkins. So. Yeah. What do you think?
D
There's.
C
I mean, I. I think if Quin. Sean Judkins is fully healthy going into week one and Todd Monken has any success at all in Cleveland, that. Quinn. John Judkins is a top 12 running back. So I. I think he's got a chance to lead the NFL in rush attempts. He's just got to see how healthy he is.
A
All right, guys, I'm on the clock here with chase Brown, Trey McBride and T. Higgins. What do you think about Pacheco?
C
That's not a bad idea.
D
Yeah.
A
How would you guys approach the Jack? Because I'd love to get the Jaguars starting running back now, but I. But in this, it's kind of a weird situation. I'm not gonna. I'm take Breeze hall, but you guys can just talk about, like, what would you do if you wanted the Jaguars starting running back.
D
Today? I still take Etienne.
C
Yeah, that's the best guess.
A
All right, well, I took Bruce hall, so that sucks.
B
Nice.
A
But we are. You know, look at the way it works. With running backs.
C
He could be the Jag starting running back.
A
It could, right? He's a free agen. He's.
D
He could be Seattle running back. He could be the chief starting running back. Yeah, there's lots of ways.
A
Okay, good. There's no.
B
There's a chance he's around 2 pick by August and you just got him in round four in a draft. We're not playing out for any money whatsoever, so good job.
A
Travis ETN is our next pick to gamer Eric. We got. All right, I'll recap round three. Round three was Bucky Irving, Derrick Henry, Tele McMillan, Chris Olave, Kyron Williams, Ken Walker, Cam Scatterboo, RJ Harvey, and then four wide receivers in a row. So we had four running backs in a row and four wide receivers. We had Kyron Walker, Scatter Boo Harvey, and then Garrett Wilson, T. Higgins, A.J. brown, L.A.D. mcConkey and then finally Josh Allen, first pick of round four pick, 37 overall, followed by Judkins, Breeze hall and Travis Etna. And then the next pick is in and it is Devonte Adams. And then a mech. Dave took a mecca Abuka. With Mike Evans still on the board, what's your thought there on a Buka?
B
Just figure he'll be the number one receiver in Tampa. We don't know. We don't know if Mike Evans is going to be back for 13th year. I know that sounds like he'll be back, but will his role be exactly the same? I think we saw enough of the first half of the year from Abuka before he got hurt. That shows us that he can play in this league. I. I don't necessarily. I'm not like crazy about him as a number two fantasy wide receiver, but at this point that's kind of where he's landed. I don't know if I can name 24 other wide receivers I'd rather have than a Buka and he. There's no other receiver on Tampa I'd rather have than a Buka at this point.
A
One, two, three, four, five in the first round. One, two, three, Four, five, six in the second round. Counting wide receivers here, we had six in the third round. So that's what? 17?
D
Eight.
A
Devonte Adams was wide receiver 18 and Abuka was wide receiver 19 in this draft. Hey, Jamie, real quick. We're in an interesting part of the draft because the second year tight ends are going to start coming off the board. Colson Loveland was selected, but you have Josh Allen and James Cook. I had one team with Josh Allen and James Cook last year and it sucked. But that's because neighbors and Brian Thomas are my first two picks. How do you feel about Josh Allen and James Cook on the same team?
D
I mean, I love the Bills and the Chargers right now. So Josh Allen, James Cook, Ladman Cocky and Omarion Hampton. Let's go.
A
Okay, not bad. Not bad to attach yourself to good offenses. All right, let's catch up on round four. Allen, Judkins, Breeze Hall, Travis Etn, Devonte, Adams, Ameca Buka, Colston, Loveland. He's our third tight end. Bowers or McBride went with a third pick of round two. Bowers went with the last pick of round two. Loveland in the middle of round four. Zay Flowers, Xavier Worthy. Man, those are interesting picks there. It's. It's a tough spot. Heath for wide receiver. I mean, there's no, there's no layup here. We got Flowers. We've got. So sorry Flowers, Xavier Worthy, then Travion Henderson, Devonte Smith, Jalen. I love the waddle pick there. What do you think? What's going, what's going through your head here?
C
I. I love the flowers pick. I love the waddle pick. I think either guys, you can see a path to them being a top 12 wide receiver and you don't usually find those in round four. I mean, I think we've talked about it with Flowers. He is elite at drawing targets per route run. He's elite just target percentage overall. Can we just have a semi normal pass volume from the Baltimore Ravens, please?
D
14 points where I took Allen, by the way.
A
You almost took a waddle. Oh, with the first pick of round four, who do you think will be their quarterback? Yours.
D
Hopefully.
A
Okay.
B
Another Packer connection.
A
All right, so again, the end of the round and the round four featured a lot of wide receivers. Zay Flower, Xavier Worthy, Travion Henderson, Devonte Smith, Jalen Waddle, and then Jameson Williams with the first pick of round five. Javante Williams with the second pick of round five. Good pick there. I like that pick. Luther Burden. So that Jacob going Travion and Luther burden hoping for second year breakouts. And McMillan and McMillan. Okay, so Jacob's team is Puka Jacobs, Teteroa McMillan, Travion Henderson and Luther Burden. Dave critique.
B
Sounds like a typical Jacob team does going young. Yeah, there's nothing wrong with it either. I mean, it's kind of the way that you should go. You don't want to do the opposite and get too many old guys because then you're just adding injury risk on top of, you know, Players slowing down and so what, what's the risk with going young? Okay. You get players that don't necessarily develop in their second season or their third season. If it's a third year player or something like that. I don't mind that route at all. You have a much better chance of getting a breakout player when they're younger than when they're older. So he's playing the odds and he's getting talented players. It's kind of what you want to do in fantasy.
C
Yep.
A
Talented players for sure. Some concerns. I mean, obviously again, the fact that Travion Henderson goes ahead of Ramandre Stevenson, you're just hoping there's just no justification for it based on what we just saw. But I obviously, I understand it. Yeah, go ahead.
C
No, I thought the really interesting thing because when I got done with my round four pick, I started looking at the tight end position and how many of those guys were going to go off the board. And so we saw Loveland go in the middle of round four. I think Dave just took Fanon in the middle of round five. And you, for me at least, looking at the early projections, I think you can make an argument for those two and for Tyler Warren and for Tucker Kraft if he's healthy and for Sam LaPorta with Drew Petsing if he's healthy. So for me there's kind of five tight ends and you can have your favorite of the group. But I'm gonna guess one of those guys probably falls late into round six. One of them goes early in round four. If you miss McBride and Bowers, it might just be wait for the last of that group. There goes another one.
A
There goes Tyler Warren. All right, so Colson Loveland started a run that lasted about 14 picks. Whatever. Loveland went in the middle of round four. And then there was a lull until the seventh pick of round five where Dave took Fannin and then Tyler Warren goes after that and Gamer Eric took Ramandre Stevenson. And I'm going to take the third quarterback off the board because we had Drake maybe. And let me make sure I'm not missing anyone here right now.
B
I have, I believe there's only been two quarterbacks.
A
No, no, I mean missing a running back or wide receiver that I want to take. I only have one receiver. It's a three receiver league. I have one receiver and it's T. Higgins. I have chase Brown, Trey McBride, T. Higgins, Breeze Hall. I just don't think I can pass up Lamar Jackson at this point. Remember when he was healthy, he scored more than 30 points in each of his first three games. He obviously was not healthy in the second half of the season. He couldn't run much. Just want to make sure I'm not missing a player here. Best running backs from last year. Be like those Steelers guys. Not going to take them. Cortland Sutton. Ooh, I like Cortland Sutton. I might have to take Cortland Sutton instead of Lamar. All right, take Sutton. Sorry, Jamie, can I have. Can you give me Sutton? Or I can just take him. Because I'll get Jaden Daniels if I don't get Lamar, and I'm fine with that.
B
Or you can wait even longer. Maybe you'll have Dak Prescott out of it.
C
I think everybody in the chat wants to know, after you took T. Higgins over A.J. brown, why aren't you taking Joe Brew?
A
Oh, crap. I should take. Okay, I'll take. I forgot about Burrow. I'll take Burrow or Lamar with my next pick. I took.
D
I was gonna say you taking a quarterback there would have been so stupid.
A
Yeah, I. Sorry. You know how it is when I'm hosting this thing and I'm drafting, I get a little scatterbrained. Heath took Terry McLaurin. Heath discuss.
C
Yeah, I think I've talked about it before. I think once he got healthy, he looked like Terry McLaurin, which is a high end, maybe mid wide receiver, two available at the end of round five. He's a little bit older, but so's Cortland Sutton. So are most the good wide receivers that are left at this point. I really wanted to get that third wide receiver before Jamie picked, so I've kind of got my. The depth. Not no depth on the bench yet, but the starting lineup said it. Running back and wide receiver, and there's still a couple of tight ends and, like, five quarterbacks that I'm happy to take. When it comes back to me, I'm upset.
B
I was hoping McLaren would make it back to me in round six. Marvin Harrison Jr. Was also on the board. I was hoping. I. I didn't think there was much of a chance of Marvin getting past you guys because each of you had two picks before I picked in round six, but I would have taken him in round six. Those are two wide receivers that I think you can earmark for this range and. And feel good about taking as number three options, because they could be. They could potentially be number one options. We've seen it from McLaurin before. We know what the pedigree is for Marvin Harrison Jr. I love both of those picks that you guys made.
A
Okay, yeah. So the I'll just tell you round five, round five was Jameson Williams, Javante Williams, Luther Burden, DeAndre Swift, Drake May as QB2 DK Metcalf, Harold Fannin Jr. As tight end four Tyler Warren as tight end five Ramandre Stevenson, Cortland Sutton, Terry McLaurin and Marvin Harrison Jr. We'll tell you about round six after this quick commercial break. Jamie will tell you he took Marvin Harrison Jr. I took Trey McBride. I think we'll talk briefly about the Cardinals offense and who's the quarterback going to be and what role will Michael Wilson have? Those are pretty big questions here. And we'll be right back on Fantasy Football today, avoiding your unfinished home projects.

A
All right, before we get into Jamie's pick of Marvin Harrison Jr. And we'll talk about the Cardinals offense. Dave, are you on the clock or you just made a pick?
B
I just made my pick.
A
Interesting pick. Who'd you take?
B
Win win for Bashel Tutin. Think about where we are right now. It's middle of February. We don't know anything about what the Jaguars run game is going to look like. We we don't. I look, Basil Tuton will probably only go in round six if he's in a legit competition with another running back. If he's the lead guy in Jacksonville, he's not going to make it to round four, much less round six. And if Travis ETN resigns then Tuton's gonna be like round eight. Ish. I don't think he'll go anywhere in this range, but we're just mocking, having fun. Wanted to get that third running back on my team and I wanted to do it because I know that there's a lot of crap left at running back. So Tutin was my selection.
A
Okay, so I'll get you the round six picks in a minute here. But Jamie, let's my. I took McBride, third pick of round two. You took Marvin Harrison Jr. 60th overall, last pick of round five. But we, you know, Michael Wilson emerged and Are you thinking that Brissette will be the quarterback? Talk about your expectations for the Cardinals offense. They'll have a new head coach. They led the NFL in pass attempts. I actually think. I actually think there's more risk with McBride and Harrison than especially McBride because he goes so early than. Than we might be letting on.
D
I mean, there's obviously risk when there's change and so the fact that there's uncertainty at the quarterback position still is. Is obviously something that should keep you a little bit concerned about what this is going to look like. But I think just based on what you're hearing, that they're hoping to move on from. From Kyler Murray and that Jacoby Brissette's still under contract for one more year. They probably look to acquire a young quarterback or wait until 2027 when that draft class is going to be very impressive and just roll with Brissette for one more season. So I think just because he could be the starter for the majority of the year, that should give you hope for the pass catchers there now, then it becomes okay. How do you sort of look at Harrison and Wilson? Because I would expect McBride to. If he takes a step back, I don't think he's taking a step back. Barring injury from going from tight end one to tight end ten, I think he's still a top five tight end and still pushing to be tight end one or top three. So I have no problem with him going where you took him. I have no problem with him being the number one tight end off the board. I think in, in the case of Harrison vs. Wilson, Wilson looked much better than Harrison has ever looked. We are still talking about a guy, as Dave mentioned, the pedigree is there. He was expected to be a premier player in this league and once we saw this switch from Kyler to Jacoby Brissette, we saw some of the flashes of what Harrison could do. Unfortunately got hurt had the foot injury, I think multiple foot injuries or certainly multiple lower leg injuries. And that really robbed us from what I think could have been maybe what Michael Wilson was producing. Different ways, different how, how it got done. I think you just have to take it as when they were both on the field together, Harrison was still the one dominating targets and that's the hope for me is that he's still going to be the one dominating target. So we'll probably see Wilson. At least in the previous drafts they've been drafted very close together. He may have already come off the board and see. But it's a good gamble on Wilson. I think it's a better gamble on Harrison though, at least the way I'm approaching it.
A
Okay, we have picks flying off the board here and we're going to catch up. We had an interesting run in round six of quarterbacks with back to back to back picks and they were the third, fourth and fifth quarterbacks off the board in your drafts at home. They probably won't last that long. Although I don't know. You know, the quarterback position has not been as strong as it was like four or five years ago. Drake May scored 24 points per game and finishes QB3 per game. That's really high for, for 24 points per game. You know, five years ago that would have been something like QB8 or 10 per game or something like that. So curious to see how people draft. They may think there's not that big of a difference between Jaden Daniels and Dak Prescott. Right. And, and other and Matthew Stafford maybe in a six point per passing touchdown league, which this is by the way. Dave, you just made another pick pick Tyree Kill. But you know what, I have to catch up. All right, you know what we'll go through, we'll go through the the rest of the round. Dave, you want to talk about Tyreek Hill? You took him. You now have Achan Jefferson. Scatterboo.
D
Hold on.
A
H.N. jefferson. Scatter boo A Booka Fannin Tutin and Tyreek Hill.
B
The gamble on Tyree Kill is that he reclaims some of his speed and gets a solid role somewhere in the league. My fingers are crossed that it's Kansas City again and that things somehow work out with Mahomes and his injury and Tyreek and his injury and he averages not 20 PPR points per game. That's unreasonable. But 14 PPR points per game, that would be sweet. And there will definitely be people who don't want anything to do with Tyreek Hill and fantasy, but it's round seven. We're, we're like right around 80th overall. There was one other receiver that I was looking at and he might make it back to me. And then there's the, the handcuff to Cam Scatter Boo that I'm thinking about. If Tyrone Tracy makes it back, then maybe I would take him in round eight. But to me it's just an upside play on an older receiver that has a great price tag. As of now in our fantasy mocks.
C
Tyreek was, was right at the top of my old wide receivers who still might.
B
Q.
A
Right.
C
And the, the guy who was second is the guy that I'm going to take. Who's Mike Evans.
A
So Dave took Hill, then Kyle Manangai went, then George Kittle, then Tony Pollard to me, Mike Evans to Heath and Jamie. Talk us through your next two picks here as you have Cook, Hampton, McConkey, Allen, Marvin Harrison Jr. Christian Watson. You have three receivers, two running backs, a quarterback. You do not have a tight end or a flex yet.
D
Yeah, I'm gonna take another receiver here and this is a wild card at this point, but I think one with a lot of upside. The first guy I'm going to take is Alec Pierce. And so hopefully he ends up signing somewhere. Maybe it's the bell, the Bills just to continue the theme, but, you know, hopefully he ends up in a place where he can build off what was an impressive 2025 campaign. And the next guy I'm going to take is another wild card right now is the only running back on his team's roster. It's Jacori, Crosky, Merritt. So we'll see with, you know, what they decide to do right now. Eckler's a free agent, Rodriguez is a free agent. McNichols is a free agent. You know, Bill obviously had some interesting moments here in his rookie campaign, but hopefully new coordinator, they give him a chance to be the featured guy. And he looked good at times when he was in that role.
C
I was, I was really happy to see that that QB run happened in round six and didn't include Jaylen Herz. And then it was the best feeling in the world when it got to like halfway through round seven. And I realized that everybody before me and after me had a quarterback. So I'll just take Jalen Hurts. I'll just take Jalen Hurts in round eight. And now nobody's going to like my team because nobody likes Jalen Hurts. But it feels to me like an exceptional value for a guy we've taken In. In the round three, four range in past years.
A
We don't have a Jaguars wide receiver off the board yet.
D
Yes, we do.
B
Yeah, we do. Brian Thomas Jr. Oh, did he?
A
Oh, yeah.
B
Jacoby went to. Yep.
A
Yeah, I got a lot to catch up on here. I'm sorry about that. Well, we don't have Parker Washington off the board, and he was the one who went. Who was going off. Yeah. I think I'm going to take a. You took a gamble on Alec Pierce. I think I'm going to take a gamble on Michael Pitman. Or do I go. Juwan Jennings here? I'm gonna go with. With Jennings. Okay. Let's get away from our teams here and go to rounds six and seven. We're already in the middle of round eight, but we haven't told you about round six and seven. So round six had that wide receiver, that quarterback run, but Jamie started it with Christian Watson. Heath took Sam Laporta, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow and Jaden Daniels were the next three picks. And Basil Tutin went after that. Brian Thomas Jr. Went after that. Tucker Kraft. So Laporta and Kraft, and then Mark Andrews and then Kyle Pitts, they all went ahead of George Kittle, understandably. But my goodness, I would not take Mark Andrews or Kyle Pitts in round six. I don't know how you guys feel. I mean, I get it with Tucker Kraft. He is coming off a torn acl. Heath, you took La Porta. But we had a lot of tight ends in this round, and that's a lot of tight ends. That's what, eight tight ends in the first six rounds.
D
What.
C
What I thought was interesting was like Loveland goes round four and then Fan and Warren round five. And that's probably pretty similar to what we'll see. Maybe we'll see Craft sneak into there. But then I. I kind of thought, and I took Laporte at the beginning of round six. I kind of thought there might be like Craft was going to go relatively soon, but then there'd be a gap between the rest of the tight ends.
D
Right.
C
Pitts could be in the round four conversation if he resigns with Atlanta just because of the Stefanski connection. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets pushed out that high at all.
D
Oh, I wouldn't take him around. I think where Adams, like complaining about it, I think is a great spot for him. But round four, I think, is a little too soon.
A
I just like at what we've drafted tight ends for decade, for like decades now. And to think that nine tight ends should Go in the first six rounds is absurd. They're never good enough to justify that. And Kyle Pitts has been the biggest tease in fantasy for his entire career. He was good almost exclusively without Drake London last year.
C
Without Drake London so much. What, you hate Kyle Pitts?
A
No, I like.
B
But it's true.
A
He did nothing.
B
Tell me where he's selling lies.
A
Yeah, yeah. It was all. It was pretty much all without Drake London last year. So I can't. I don't. I think these, I think these are bad.
C
So you do you think. I think it's an interesting discussion because we talk about this type of thing all the time. We've got a very well established history that a Kevin Stefanski offense throws to their tight ends basically as much as anybody that doesn't have Travis Kelsey. Yeah, like it's a huge target share for the tight ends. Almost every year we saw Dave and Ajoku, another guy who people had kind of elevated for a long time in his career because how athletic he was and how good they thought he was. But he didn't really meet those expectations and then he breaks out and for half of a season when he has a quarterback looks like the best tight end in fantasy. We've got Harold Fannin, who has a rookie, has a good year and dominates targets, leads the team in targets as a rookie. Do you think that with Stefanski going to a team that has Bijon and Drake London that his tight end tendency is just irrelevant?
A
No, of course. Or. Oh, I think you're right.
C
I think, I think who, like if Isaiah likely ends up in Atlanta, he's going to be a top six or seven tight end.
B
Yeah, maybe assuming that there's no pits.
A
Right, right. It's just, you know, look, I think.
C
It'S less about still believing in Kyle Pitts, although he's shown us enough glimpses to maybe do that, and more about believing in Stefanski's tight end one, especially if it's somebody we already thought had upside down.
A
Right. But it's not always Stefanski's tight end one. Sometimes it's a combination. It's like this is what happened with Arthur Smith going to Atlanta and his history of tight ends. And then what happened?
C
They signed two tight ends. I'll be really worried about that.
A
Okay. All right. They're right. They brought in Johnny Smith. No, I mean, look, it's a good point about Stefanski. It's just, I think like Kyle Pitts's history to me outweighs Kevin Stefanski's history. But. All right, that was round. That's a good debate, though. I like that.
B
It's also, Pits isn't necessarily your typical tight end. We've talked about that for years. And then there's also the issue of Atlanta keeping him. There's a cost involved. They've got just under $30 million of cap space. More than half of that's going to get eaten up by a franchise tag by Kyle Pitts. So they've got to make a decision about how they want to allocate that money. Do they want to give Kyle Pitts. If, if it's not that much money, then they're signing them to a contract extension that's going to charge them a lot over multiple years. Do they want to do that or would they rather spend the money trying to go the cheaper route, which is get Najoku, who Kevin Stefanski knows, and then maybe draft a tight end? There's going to be a lot of okay tight ends in this draft class and they try and piecemeal it with those two and they let somebody else spend a lot of money on Kyle Pitts. And if it's the right team that gets Kyle Pitts and he's got a chance to work exclusively as a wide receiver at a tight end position with a good quarterback, good offense, all that. I mean, hell, put him in Buffalo like we've been putting a bunch of other players, then that might justify him being a top 50 type pick in fantasy. But that's what it's going to have to take for him to really earn it if he's back in Atlanta. I, I don't know if I want to trust him as a top 50 or even top 60 pick.
A
All right, let's get back to round round six. We're already almost done with round. Well, we're halfway through round nine. So here's round six. Watson, Laporta, Lamar, Burrow, Daniels, Tutin, Brian Thomas Jr. Jamie, what'd you think about Brian Thomas Jr. Being the first Jaguars receiver drafted?
D
I mean, look, you're hoping for a bounce back, right? His rookie season was amazing. His second season was a disaster. You know, third year, you know, another full season, full offseason in Liam Cohen system. You know, you hope that he can, you know, get back to being that type of player, but now you're talking about Parker Washington emerging, Jacoby Myers being added, and now they're saying that Travis Hunter is still going to see time on offense. If not, maybe still be a full time offensive player, at least majority of time on offense. Like it could be messy for Thomas. So I think when you just look at the Jaguars receivers, it's almost like, okay, who can I get last of the big three or four? And that's kind of the way I would approach it. I don't have Brian Thomas ranked as a top 30 receiver, for example, right? Nope.
A
Okay. After Brian Thomas Jr. Was Tucker Kraft, Mark Andrews, Kyle Pitts, those three tight ends. And then we get Jackson Dart, second to last pick of round six, 71st overall, and Ricky Pearsall, who was the first 49ers receiver. And, you know, Juwan Jennings is a.
C
Isn't he the only 49ers receiver?
A
Yeah.
D
Yeah. Well, Iuk technically is still there.
A
Right after that, we go to round seven, and Romo Dunze was the first pick. So dunes they goes round seven. Luther Burden went in what, round five. Yeah. Odunze went basically two rounds after Burden. Jacoby Myers, Jalen Warren, Caleb Williams, Michael Wilson, pick 77. Whereas Marvin Harrison was pick 60. Justin Herbert, Tyree Kill, Kyle Menangai, George Kittle, Tony Pollard, Mike Evans, and Alec Pierce. You know, look, these. These are not. We're in round seven. We're 80 picks in. Dave had Tyree kill at pick 79. Then Manangai Kittle, Tony Pollard, Mike Evans, Alec Pierce. There's a. There's a lot of risk at this point in the draft. So we'll have some rookies at some point. We'll have free agency. We'll have a clearer picture, but right now, there's risk. That's the end of round seven. We go to round eight. And round eight was Jacori Crosky. Merritt to Jamie, Jalen Hurts to Heath. Great pick. Juwan Jennings to Adam, Michael Pitman, Woody Marks, he always goes so late for guys that, you know, he's a starting running back right now, maybe with a. With a pretty heavy workload. Dak Prescott to Dave, which is just so funny that CD Lamb and George Pickens are our top 24 picks in every draft we do. And then Dak Prescott goes 90th overall. Nice pick. Parker Washington, the last of the three Jaguars receivers goes 91st. Stefan Diggs, D.J. moore, Rico Dowdle. Well, I'm sorry, did I say Chuba Hubbard yet? No. When did you. Hubbard go?
B
Chuba went in round nine.
A
So Dowdle went before Hubbard. Dowdle's gonna be a free agent. Hubbard reclaimed the job late in the year. I think Hubbard is a great value in this draft, guys.
C
I think he was a good.
D
Absolutely love the hover pick.
C
Yep. Good value. I took Brooks at the end of Round nine.
A
Oh, interesting. All right, so we got Dowdle in round eight. Jake Ferguson, Brock Purdy, and then let's go to round nine, which was just concluded, by the way. David Montgomery. Are we expecting him to be on the Lions next year?
B
Montgomery as of now, Yep.
A
James Connor, Blake Corum. Interesting pick there. Matthew Golden, Trey Benson. That's a pretty interesting pick.
C
I. I really wanted Trey Benson. I was very, very disappointed by the running back round or run in this round.
A
Right. Okay. All right, so we have a lot of running backs going around nine. Six of the first seven picks. Montgomery, James Connor, Blake Corum, then Matthew Golden, Trey Benson, Chuba Hubbard. Put those guys on your radar. Those are good picks. Tyrone Tracy to Dave. He took Scatterboo earlier. He said he was going to take Tracy. I'm sorry, I'm on the clock here. I'm going to take. I'm going to take JK Dobbins in round 10. But finishing up round nine, after Dave took Tracy, it was Chris Godwin, Khalil Shakir, Quentin Johnston to me, Jonathan Brooks to Heath, Alvin Camara to Jamie. We're just about caught up as we go to round 10, which is Jordan Mason to Jamie. Aaron Jones still on the board. Jamie?
D
Yep.
A
Okay, you took Mason, then he took Dylan Sampson because he has Judkins. Is that why you took him?
D
Yep.
A
Okay, I took J.K. dobbins, who two years in a row outperformed the guy that we thought was going to be better than him, Gus Edwards two years ago. And R.J. harvey this year. Tyler Algier goes to Eric. So now we're taking handcuffs. Not a bad idea. Although Algiers might not be a handcuff. Might be somewhere else. Wanda Robinson, 113th overall for Wanda Robinson, who finished as wide receiver 17 per game last year, just behind T. Higgins. So that's a solid pick. And now we're caught up. Dave's on the clock. Dave, who'd you take?
B
I took Brandon Iuk. We mentioned him earlier. We don't know what team will be on, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to be the 49ers, and we have no idea what type of receiver he will be. Call this what it is. It's just a gambly type of pick in round 10 in a fantasy mock draft in mid February. And by the time we get through free agency and when players start to move, Brandon Ayuk will be on a different team, and he's probably going to go higher than round 10 when that happens. And so he could go you want to put him where we're putting everybody else, which is Buffalo. He'll be a super high pick if you put him reunited in DC with Jalen Jaden Daniels. He's not going to go in round 10, but I don't think he'll go in round five. I think he'll end up being in that like round 7ish range maybe a little bit before there, but people will gravitate toward IUK AS is kind of a value slash, high upside type of wide receiver. I had no problem taking him a year off of football. He should be healthy and ready to go. And we know that he's got speed and he's got all kinds of upside.
A
By the way, some of the best players still available based on points per game scored last year or 2025. Nobody scored as average more than 11.1 fantasy points. That was Debo Samuel. Keenan Allen averaged 10.2 fantasy points. And those are the only players still on the board other than a quarterback that average double digit PPR fantasy points per game. We have Debo and Allen. We have Romeo Dobbs, Troy Franklin, Jordan Addison. He really stands out to me. Right. Because we know he's better than 9.1 points per game, which is what he averaged last year. Jordan Addison. We were expecting a bounce back. Trey Tucker, Travis Hunter, pretty interesting. Probably, you know, gonna play a lot of defense. K Sean Booty and Marquis Brown, Josh Downs. Josh, now look, we're expecting either one or both of Pittman and Pierce to, to be gone. So Josh Downs pretty. A fascinating player there. All right, we're about done with round 10.
B
I don't know what kind of voice that was.
C
Yeah, yeah.
A
You want to comment on the voice Heath or the Josh Downs thoughts or both?
C
No, it, you know, you were. It's around 10 pick.
A
Yeah, well, he's not. He's still on the.
C
Maybe it's going to be a round 11 pick. He was taken.
A
No, he'd be my pick in round 11 if he gets there.
C
Well, somebody take Josh down. So Adam's gonna be frustrated about it.
A
Round 10 was Mason, Samson Dobbins, Algier Wandale, Ayuk, Arande, Gadsden, Gainwell. Gainwell there, that's. That's pretty productive. He was by far the best player available based on last year's scoring. And he goes 116th. Kenneth Gainwell, Braylon Allen, Jaden Reed, Jaden Higgins, Aaron Jones. And that was the end of round 10. We get into round 11. Ali Gordon, Troy Franklin, Trevor Lawrence. So everyone's got A quarterback at this point? Is Lawrence a backup? No, Lawrence was not a backup. Lawrence was. Trevor was Jacob's starting quarterback.
D
And the number one quarterback has not been drafted yet.
A
Matthew Stafford has not been drafted?
D
No.
A
All right, so after Lawrence, we get Calvin Ridley, who would be the first Titans receiver you'd take?
D
Whoever they draft in April?
A
Yeah. All right, well, it's Ridley right now. Then it's Debo Samuel. Dave, you're on deck. Do you need anything or you're just picking for depth now?
B
I'm picking for upside in a. In this exercise.
A
All right, we're waiting for Jason for Johnny Airport. Johnny Airport's gonna make a selection here. Let's go through Johnny Airport's team. McCaffrey, Rashi Rice, Ken Walker, Colson Loveland, DK Metcalf, Brian Thomas. So his wide receivers are Rice, Metcalf and Thomas. His running backs are McCaffrey and Walker. His tight end is Loveland. His quarterback is Herbert. So he's kind of probably a little weak at wide receiver. He took Parker Washington. I mean, not necessarily, but stronger at running back, quarterback, tight end. Parker Washington's his wide receiver. Four or his flex. Chuba Hubbard. Great pick there, Gadsden. And then he just took Jalen Coker, who finished strong. And now Dave is on the clock with the 127th overall pick.
B
Coming down to Dalton Kincaid or Jordan Addison. Looking for depth on my team, and I think I'm gonna lead Kincaid just to have the second tight end. There aren't a lot of good tight ends left. I'm using the term good loosely, and I drafted Justin Jefferson earlier. So if I'm drafting Addison, why is. Is he a handcuff for Justin Jefferson? I would never suggest such a thing. Would I ever start him as a number three receiver? Maybe. But there's already quarterback question marks in Minnesota that I think they can solve, but because they haven't solved them yet, I don't want to double down on it. I'll take Addison if he makes it back to me in the next round, but otherwise I went with Kincaid, and hopefully he gets around what he had this past year. 11 PPR points per game. Touchdown dependent.
A
Yeah, just. Just fired up as I drafted Josh Downs, that's all. Couldn't think of any other music to play.
B
You just wanted me to stop talking?
A
Well, yeah, I had to talk about getting Josh Dance, and then he took Addison right after. I should have taken Addison, damn it.
C
Yeah, for sure.
A
Oh, what was I thinking? I was listening to Dave and I was like, oh, I'm up. Josh Downs should have taken Addison. Ooh, Jamie with a great likely pick. All right, here's round 11. It's Ali Gordon, Troy Franklin, Trevor Lawrence, Calvin Ridley, Debo Samuel, Jalen Coker, Dalton Kincaid, Brian Robinson Jr. K Sean Booty, Josh Downs. Great pick. Jordan Addison, Better pick. Isaiah, likely free agent, exciting tight end, possible big possibilities there. We'll do one more round and then we'll recap our teams. It is a 14 round draft, but we'll go through 12 of them. And Jamie, what's, what's on your mind?
D
You know, let's just have some fun here and see what happens with this guy. Sounds like he's coming back to play. Why not?
A
Travis Kelsey. Are these your only tight ends?
B
Double tight end. Yep.
A
Ah, you waited on tight end and you got likely. And Kelsey, you know, maybe the very.
D
Same top five, top six tight end like Heath alluded to and the greatest titan of all time. It's good to wait.
A
There you go. Heath, you're on the clock.
C
Feel like, Feel like if Jamie's gonna do that, then I should just take Patrick Momes.
A
That's a good pick. I like that.
B
Is it?
A
Yeah, it's a great pick. Okay, I'm on the clock. I have Lamar Jackson, so I'm not going to take. Do I need a handcuff here? I have Breece Hall, Chase Brown. No, just take best place.
C
You should take Braylon Allen just in case Breeze hall leaves.
B
He was taken.
C
Never mind. Take Isaiah Davis just in case Breeze hall leaves.
A
No, I could take.
B
Man, lock up the jets backfield.
A
Is it so stupid to take Keon Coleman?
C
No, no.
B
Yes.
A
His coach loves him.
C
Coach loves him. I, I think it's a great pick.
B
That worked out so well last year.
D
I think it's a good pick here.
A
All right. Keon Coleman. Oh, I mean, you guys took Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. You took two first ballot hall of famers, two of the best ever at their position. And I took Keon Coleman.
C
Sounds about right.
A
Yeah. Okay, Eric is up. Dave is in the hole. Now Dave's on deck. Eric took Charbonne and now Rob. Let's take a look at Rob's team. He has Amon Ross, St. Brown, Malik, neighbors RJ Harvey, Devonte Adams. So three of his first four picks. So he, he, he kind of sacrificed running back a little bit here. He did not take a second running back until round seven. So St. Brown neighbors R.J. harvey, Devonte Adams, Tyler Warren, Jaden Daniels, then Kyle Menangai and Woody Marks in Round seven and eight. I think the Woody for that build, getting a guy like Woody Marks is pretty. Is pretty good. Good job there. And then Chris Godwin Godw year removed now from a very serious dislocated ankle. Mike Evans may not be back on the team. When you think about a book of going around four and Godwin going in round nine, pretty good. And then Wanda Robinson in round 10. I think Rob got some really good value rounds. Me personally, this is just me speaking. Rounds 8 through 10, Woody Marks, Chris Godwin, Wanda Robinson. I think you did great there. And then he took Brian Robinson and he just took Jack Besh and then Dave. Who'd you take?
B
When's the last time the league MVP went in round 12 of a fantasy draft? The year after.
A
Yeah.
B
Of his MVP year. So he liked his pick of Patrick Mahomes and I did too. But I think Stafford A, he's healthier. B, we don't have to expect him to be as good as he was in 2025, but he should still be pretty good as long as Adams is there. Puka reports to camp, the offensive line gets really ironed out. That's still going to be a very high powered offense. Thrilled to get Matthew Stafford. It's my QB2 in round 12.
A
It's kind of funny. QB1, league MVP you. So you go. Everybody wants shiny new toys at quarterback or a lot of people do. You have Dak Prescott and Matthew Stafford and a lot to like with that pairing there. We just had the best pick of the.
B
I feel stupid for taking Dak when I did knowing I got Stafford in round.
D
No.
C
I think Dave and I both took quarterbacks in round eight and round 12. He got Dak and Stafford. I got Hertz and Mahomes.
A
I prefer Hertz and Mahomes.
C
I think they're both like. It's just another reminder to wait on quarterback.
B
I wasn't right. It wasn't necessarily the year.
D
That's for sure.
A
I was just trying to drive a wedge between you two.
C
Yeah.
A
Round 12. It'll never happen.
B
That Bond is strong.
A
Kelsey Mahomes. Coleman. Charbonnet Besh. Stafford. Devin Neal. Isaiah Pacheco. Savion Williams. Kamani Vidal. Taje Spears. All right, we've got two more rounds left. We have one more pick left in round 12. Sorry. It's Maroons and Marone. Who will you take?
C
How do you like your team, Adam?
A
I. It's okay. I mean the thing about my team is if. If like there's good health and good seasons. I, Trey McBride in round two, Lamar Jackson in round five, could have RB, could have tight end one and QB one. And then I just need my other guys to be fine. But we'll go through our teams. Travis Hunter was pick 144. Let's go through our teams in order of how they were drafted. Dave had picked seven. Give me your team.
B
Dak Prescott is my quarterback with Stafford on the bench. I don't know how you could argue with that, especially at the values that I got them at. Running backs Devon Hn and Cam Scatterboo are starters on my bench. Tyrone Tracy and Bashel Tutin. I could probably use another running back or two with my last two picks. Wide receivers. Justin Jefferson in round two, Ameca Buka. When did I take him? Round four. That sounds about right. And then Tyreek Hill, couple rounds after that. My bench wide receivers are Brandon Ayuk and that's the end of the list.
C
So that's terrifying.
B
Receiving room. Well, that's just terrifying. Yeah, well, what the hell, it's February. Fanon is my tight end. Kincaid is the backup tight end. Yeah, that makes me think that maybe I should have taken Jordan Addison over Dalton Kincaid in round 11. But that's the way that the cookie crumbled for me.
A
Yeah. So your receivers are Jefferson Abuka, Tyreek Hill and Brandon ayuk in a 3 receiver full PPR league with a flex. Okay. Speaker Adam, you put me in his. Speaker Adam on the draft board, I did not notice that. My team is Lamar Jackson at quarterback and Trey McBride at tight end. It definitely. I guess I have to call them the onesie positions. People do that. Dan does it all the time. Drives me crazy, but I'll do it. I think I'm good. Great. At the onesie positions, Lamar Jackson and Trey McBride. Running backs are Chase Brown and Breece hall with Tony Pollard and J.K. dobbins on the bench. And wide receivers are not great. T. Higgins, Cortland Sutton, Juwan Jennings, Quentin Johnston. Amazing. Josh Downs pick. Legendary. Keon Coleman pick. So Again, it's Jackson McBride, Chase Brown, Breeze Hall, Higgins, Sutton, Juwan Jennings. And my flex would be Tony Pollard or Quentin Johnston. Maybe J.K. dobbins or Josh Downs. Yeah, I do. I do think it's a good team. I'm happy with it. I'll go A minus.
C
Heath, I'm glad you get to grade your own team. So quarterback, I've got Jalen Hurts, backed up by Patrick Mahomes. At running back, I have Jonathan Taylor Quinn, Sean Judkins, Jonathan Brooks and Dylan Sampson. On the bench at wide receiver, I have Drake London, AJ Brown, Terry McLaurin with Mike Evans in the flex and Jordan Addison on the bench. And I have Laporta as my tight end.
A
It's pretty solid. What would you grade your own team?
C
I. You know, I think it was. Solid is exactly the word that I would use. I. I succeeded in not embarrassing myself.
A
You know who else had Patrick Mahomes backing up? Jalen hurts. Super Bowl 59.
D
Wow.
C
They were playing against each other.
A
You know what I'm. What? I mean, everyone knows. Oh, I'm on the clock. Jamie, take us through your team.
B
A Giants fan is reminding the Chiefs fan how bad his Chiefs team was in a Super bowl two years ago.
C
That's accurate.
D
Yeah. Who has more Super Bowls?
A
Giants have four.
D
Yes.
C
Chiefs have four.
B
Oh.
A
Next one wins.
B
Who has Ty?
D
I have Josh Allen and the rest of the Bills with James Cook. I have Amari Hampton as the other running back. Lab McConkey, Marvin Harrison Jr. Christian Watson and Alec Pierce are my only receivers on the team. Backup running backs are Bill Kamara and Jordan Mason. And then I have Isaiah Likely and Travis Kelsey attended.
A
Oh, Heath, how do you feel about McConkey being your wife?
C
Did you like that pick, Jamie?
D
Idiot. Yeah, I do.
A
Took Rashad White. Okay.
B
Who knew the Rashad White would cause the biggest reaction in the show?
A
And I think about all the things Heath said about Jamie before we went on the air. Yeah, Jamie's on the clock for two picks here. But how. How differently Jamie, would you feel about your team if Instead of Lab McConkey as your wide receiver one, you got any of Garrett Wilson, T. Higgins, or A.J. brown who went with the three picks right before McConkey.
D
I would have taken probably one of those guys with Makaki instead of Josh Allen.
A
Understand. All right, Jamie took Romeo Dobbs and.
D
Sign somewhere where he can be used, hopefully. I'm gonna take. I forget. Oh, I'm gonna take. Still available.
B
All right, guys, does Dobbs follow the packers trail down to Miami?
C
Maybe that would make sense.
A
Tori Horton for Jamie Orton's a fun pick. Here's a who. Okay, guys, thank you very much for your participation. Thank you all for watching and listening. Host: Adam Aizer
Analysts & Participants: Dave Richard, Jamey Eisenberg, Heath Cummings, plus Jacob Gibbs, Brandon Howard, Marilyn Berksen, RJ White, podcast listeners, and Rob Thomas (Facebook moderator)
This episode features a live post-Super Bowl 60 fantasy football mock draft—designed to offer listeners a very early look at player values, draft strategy, and positional depth for the 2026 season. Host Adam Aizer, analysts Dave Richard, Jamey Eisenberg, and Heath Cummings provide real-time analysis, projections, and strategic commentary as they draft alongside other CBS Sports staff and listeners. The episode focuses on evolving trends such as the value of WRs vs. RBs, tight end depth, QB draft timing, and reaction to the influx of new talent and off-season changes.
Kicking off the draft:
"Welcome everybody to Fantasy Football Today presented by BetMGM ... Let's see how early will the first quarterback go. Round three or you think later?" – Adam [01:57]
Heath strongly prefers Jamar Chase as WR1, citing talent and role:
"Chase is absolutely insane. And so Chase is wide receiver one." – Heath [05:28-06:02]
Arguments include Puka Nacua’s 23.6 pts/game vs. Chase's peak numbers. Chase’s production hinges on full Bengals offensive health.
"Just trying to find the players... it's funny how we can do a draft like this in August and it feels like doing something with AI ... Doing this exercise in February ... much more stressful." – Heath [03:00-03:32]
"I want to see how this plays out ... Not opposed to also pivoting to potentially another running back if a guy that I like falls there." – Jamey [15:36]
"I expect he's going to be close to 10 targets per game. And you just hope that they've got a quarterback that can get the ball in his vicinity ..." [10:07]
Early TE picks: Trey McBride (2nd round), Brock Bowers (late 2nd), Colston Loveland (middle 4th).
Discussion of a robust new group of second-year and rookie TEs (Loveland, Fannin, Kraft, Tyler Warren, LaPorta).
Debate over whether to wait for depth or reach for upside:
"If you miss McBride and Bowers, it might just be wait for the last of that group." – Heath [33:31]
Kyle Pitts “still a tease,” only relevant if situation/health finally lines up.
"Kyle Pitts’s history outweighs Kevin Stefanski’s history." – Adam [49:27]
Rationale for Early WR over RB:
"Whenever it happens, Chase is absolutely insane. And so Chase is wide receiver one." – Heath [05:28]
Mock Draft Stress & February Uncertainty:
"Doing this exercise in February when we don't know, 25% of the guys are going to be playing or whatever is much more stressful. Doing it while podcasting, insane." – Heath [03:20]
Tight End Philosophy:
"To think that nine tight ends should go in the first six rounds is absurd. They're never good enough to justify that." – Adam [47:22]
QB Value Realization:
"It's just another reminder to wait on quarterback." – Heath [66:38]
Team Self-Grading:
"Again, it's Jackson McBride, Chase Brown, Breeze Hall, Higgins, Sutton, Juwan Jennings. And my flex would be Tony Pollard or Quentin Johnston. Maybe J.K. Dobbins or Josh Downs. Yeah, I do think it's a good team. I'm happy with it. I'll go A minus." – Adam [69:42]
This mock draft episode provides a witty, deeply analytical look into the chaotic, fun, and strategically-rich world of early fantasy football preparation. With humor, arguments over player value, risk, and outbursts over sniped picks, it’s a masterclass in evaluating both concrete performance and projected upside—reminding listeners that drafts are won with flexibility, research, and the willingness to make bold calls amid uncertainty.

Notable Panel Chemistry Moment:
"You know who else had Patrick Mahomes backing up Jalen Hurts? Super Bowl 59." – Adam [70:20]
On the absurdity of tight end inflation:
"To think that nine tight ends should go in the first six rounds is absurd..." – Adam [47:22]
February energy captured:
"This is terrifying...what the hell, it's February." – Dave [68:22]
