Learn more@WhatsApp.com this is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports. Wanna play?
Jamie
Can you believe this?
Heath
No, I can't. It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the RA and he stays on his feet. This is going to go the distance. Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and.
Dave
Hey, what's up everybody? Let's get into fantasy week six. Here come the Giants getting ready for Thursday Night Football. But we have eight better games to talk about today. Eight AFC home games. Denver at the Jets. What about those wide receivers going up against those star cornerbacks? Detroit at Kansas City. You know, it's about time the Chiefs got a prime time game. Seattle at Jacksonville. Arizona at Indianapolis. Chargers at Miami. Rams at Ravens. Cleveland at Pittsburgh. Tennessee at Las Vegas. And we welcome you to Fantasy Football today presented by BetMGM. Make it legendary. What's going on? Good morning, guys. Spinal score prediction for tonight? Why not?
Jamie
Eagles 24, Giants 1331 0.
Dave
A lot of faith in the Giants, Heath. All right, let's get right into it. Players we love.
Heath
I mean literally just played the worst team.
Jamie
Give, give. Jacob's need a little Love you. Couldn't figure out what hat I was wearing. He got it right away.
Dave
Oh, Durham Bulls.
Jamie
That's right.
Dave
Cool. Okay, well, I love the hat, but now I want some players that we love. Jamie, you have Rashad White at San Francisco, Dak Prescott at Carolina, and Teterell McMillan in that same game. Rashad White, Dak Prescott, Teterom McMillan.
Jamie
Rashad White, start of the week. You know, looking forward to him building off what he did last week. Hopefully a little better rushing performance, but obviously love the work in the passing game and love the playing time, you know, so we were a little concerned about what Sean Tucker was going to do. Not too much of a factor. I think a very good matchup now against the 49ers defense that, you know, not as good as it was earlier in the season, but looking at what Kyron Williams did in the passing game last week, I think Rashad White's gonna have an opportunity to make some plays as well. It's going to be a high scoring game. So I think Rashad White's got top 15 upside, very solid number two running back. I always like when Heath and I are on the same page with the start of the week. So we have exactly ranked the same exact way at 15 for Dak Prescott. Look, he's been awesome each of the last two games taken on a Carolina defense that I don't think its numbers necessarily represent what they're. They're capable of doing or lack thereof. So Dak, back to back 30 plus point games, ironically enough, without CD Lamb, should continue to have a very strong performance. So for me, a top five quarterback, and then Ted Rod McMillan will get his first touchdown of his NFL career in this game against the Cowboys. Their defense is miserable, so there's a big opportunity here for Tet to have. I don't know if it's going to be necessarily his breakout game of his career, but it might be the best game of his career to date. So excited to see what he can do against the secondary.
Dave
All right, so again for Jamie, we're, we're targeting that Dallas Carolina game. Could be a good DFS game for a Dak Prescott, Tel McMillan. And the start of the week, Rashad White. Heath, you've got Matthew Stafford. Everybody loves Matthew Stafford. This week he's at Baltimore. They've given up, what, seven or eight touchdowns in their last two games? Keenan Allen at Miami and, oh, 31, nothing. But we're gonna start Theo Johnson tonight. Not you like him, but anyway, tell us about Matthew Stafford. Keenan Allen, Theo Johnson, yeah.
Heath
Yes. Listen, Stafford has been incredible so far this year. They're scoring a much higher percentage of their touchdowns through the air, which should not surprise anybody. After you add Devonte Adams, who actually hasn't been as good as we would expect scoring touchdowns, has six targets inside the five yard line, has only caught one of them.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
But they.
Heath
There's just this Ravens defense can't stop anybody right now. And the Rams have been fantastic early in the season. Keenan Allen, seven targets every single week, sometimes more. And if you get seven targets against the Dolphins, you're probably going to be very good. He is a must start wide receiver. He's actually in full ppr. My favorite Chargers wide receiver in this game. But they're all worthy of considering starting being started. Theo Johnson's been targeted on 20% of Jackson darts passes so far. And Darius Slayton was playing for a lot of that time. This receiving core is awful, awful, awful. Wondale Robinson, Jalen Hyatt, and there's a guy named Bo, right? Bo Collins. Not Phil Collins, not Bo Jackson. Collins is the wide receiver. 3. Theo Johnson's gonna have at least 20 of the targets in this game and he is someone you should start. I would start him over. I like Mason Taylor. I'd start him over. Mason Taylor I like. Listen, I think the Darren Waller thing's really interesting. He's been so awesome. But the Chargers and Derwin James have been a bad matchups for tight end so far. I'd start Theo over Darren Waller. I'd start him over Tonjas. Theo Johnson, starting tight end.
Dave

Place your money line parlay bets and more today. Bet mgm. Make it legendary. All right, recapping. Jamie likes Rashad White, dak Prescott, Ted McMillan. Jamie. Say heath. Heath. Heath. That guy says Matthew Stafford. Well, you called the Giants receiving core awful like four times, so I got a little upset at you. Sorry. Matthew Stafford, Keenan Allen, Theo Johnson. One of the things we're talking about with Matthew Stafford is what, what about the game script? What if he just has to throw 22 times or something like that. Are we worried about that? We'll talk about that later. But players to avoid Heath. You're saying Daniel Jones against Arizona. Alvin Kamara, who's on the injury report, but apparently it's not serious. He should be fine. But Camara against New England and T. Higgins at Green Bay. We'll start with Daniel Jones against the Cardinals.
Heath
Listen, I, I want, I want to start with him because I don't want this to be a. Heath still doesn't think Daniel Jones is good. He's played fantastic. His current. The what Role as a fantasy quarterback is not one that would generally lead itself to being a starter. He throws the ball about 30 times a game. He ran a lot the first two games. He has two rush attempts in the last two games combined. All four of his carries inside the five yard line happen week one and week two. They've used Tyler Warren in that role. Jonathan Taylor is getting more rush attempts inside the five than we've ever expected and scoring almost every time. I think Daniel Jones is a good QB2. I don't think he's a QB1. Looks like SportsLine disagrees. Alvin Camara's role is shrinking and so is his efficiency. I don't want to start Alvin Camara and I'm not sure we'll be starting Alvin Camara again this year. As long as he's on the Saints. And I, There's a little bit of hope if Joe Flacco starts, but I don't want to bet on T. Higgins having his bounce back game against the Green Bay Packers. Like this is just a terrible place. I know Joe Flacco beat the packers already once this year. He did it with his team scoring 13 points. I just, I am staying far away from T. Higgins in this game.
Dave
I think they didn't. They have a blocked field goal like return for a touchdown in that game too.
Jamie
And a late turnover.
Dave
No, they didn't return it for a touchdown. Now they just blocked a kick. Yeah, Joe Flacco is starting. So that's the announcement that was made.
Jamie
I mean, Captain Obvious told me.
Dave
Yeah, let me know if he has any more tweets today. Jamie wants to avoid Jared Goff at Kansas City. Now you all have Daniel Jones, 14th to 16th. Would you start Jared Goff over Daniel Jones?
Jamie
I would rather start Daniel Jones.
Heath
I would rather start Jared Goff.
Dave
Okay. Derek Henry against the Rams and Garrett Wilson against Denver. Garrett Wilson has faced Denver every season of his career and he has scored 6.4, 8.4 and 7.1 ppr. Fantasy points. Gulp. All right, golf. Henry Wilson. Jamie.
Jamie
Well, Wilson, you made the case for me. I think we know why Patrick Surtan is really good and this is the type of receiver that he should probably handle pretty, pretty easily, or at least in theory. In the case of golf, it's just the same setup for him as usual. You know, going outdoors against a good defense, he just tends to struggle in this setup. He was not good fantasy wise against them in week one last year. So I don't expect him to have a big game this year against the Chiefs. And in the case of Derrick Henry, look, it's just been bad for him since week one. He's gotten away with some touchdowns and now he's facing a team that has yet to allow a running back to score a rushing touchdown this season. You need him to score. And so it just feels as if there's going to be a negative game script because of the quarterback play, because of the defense. Even though they're getting healthier, it's still facing a very good offense. So I have a, a wacky conspiracy theory. If I were the Ravens, I would sit Derek Henry in this game. You know he's your best chance to win. I get that. But get through the buy. Make that late season push. Get Lamar Jackson back. Don't risk him getting hurt.
Dave
That is the, that is the worst, worst thing I've heard you say on the show in the 16 hours.
Jamie
Listen, I knew you were going to hate that.
Dave
The absolute worst.
Jamie
I knew you would hate that. That's just my theory. Oh my gosh.
Dave
Sit Derek Henry. Well, cinnamon fantasy, baby. But not in IRL or I shouldn't have said in irl. All right, so recapping Heath is avoiding Daniel Jones. Everybody seems to have Daniel Jones as a number two quarterback. I will say the Cardinals are seeing the most pass attempts in the NFL per game. So I don't know why exactly, but can Daniel Jones actually throw the ball more? Alvin Camara T. Higgins for Heath or sits Jared Goff? Derrick Henry Garrett Wilson for Jamie Wilson. The Broncos jets game, that's the first one we're going to talk about. It's so interesting. Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, 8:30am to 9:30am YouTube.com fantasy football today. Join us for the live stream. If you missed that one, join us at noon to 1 Eastern on Sunday. When we have these games overseas, we're going to be doing 8:30 to 9:30 and noon to 1. When we don't have those, we're gonna have a different either 11 to 1 or 11:30 to 1. But we got a few more of these weeks with the early games News and notes Lamar Jackson missed practice. We're not expecting him against the Rams. Joe Flacco is going to start at Green Bay. Brock Purdy missed practice. We're not expecting him. By the way, can you name tough trivia question here. Name the top three quarterbacks and passing yards per game. Hint they are on two teams.
Jamie
Mac Jones and Brock Purdy.
Dave
They're one and three. Who's two averaging 300 yards per game, same division.
Jamie
Stafford.
Dave
Correcto. So yeah, Jackson and Purdy. Right now we're not expecting Flacco starting and Kyler Murray. We have to keep an eye on this one. Kyler Murray's got this foot injury. He briefly left last week's game, came back, but I think Jonathan Gannon said if he's healthy enough to play, he'll play. Jacoby Brissette is the backup in Arizona.
Jamie
Please, please use gamer Eric's comments. Very funny.
Dave
Tough trivia Adam A tough trivia question. Just remove the answers. Adam Yes, I did that a couple times yesterday.
Jamie
There you go.
Dave
Running back news Tyrone Tracy likely to play tonight according to Jeremy Fowler. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. He says that Houston sees Woody Marks as a passing game back with with injury history. Basically they don't want to run him into the ground. Maybe if they have a game where they're not winning like they were against Baltimore, he gets more work, but wasn't the most encouraging report. If you have Woody Marks, we'll see what happens.
Heath
The thing that was really I really struggled with is the game that he broke out was a game they were winning the whole time.
Dave
It's true. Against Tennessee. Yeah, I don't know. He seems to be playing better than Nick Chubb. Chubb had a good game though. Give him credit. Chuba Hubbard missed practice. Jalen Warren practiced in full and I mentioned Alvin Camara was limited, but he's expected to play. Wide receiver Darius Slayton's out tonight. Terry McLaurin did not practice. Chris Godwin missed practice. CD Lamb and Kevante Turpin missed practice. Ricky Pearsall not expected to play. Juwan Jennings missed practice. So it could still be another good opportunity for Kendrick Bourne. Jalen Coker practiced in full. That's great. Cameron Wolf of ESPN thinks that Travis Hunter is going to get more downfield targets in the coming weeks. Christian Watson was limited and Amon Ross St. Brown missed practice with a wrist injury. We're not concerned right now. Jatavian Sanders practice Brock Bowers did not but Michael Mayer practiced in full. Tennessee's actually been a pretty tough matchup for tight ends, but Michael Mayer could get a good opportunity on the offensive line. Landon Dickerson is out tonight for Philadelphia. The Cowboys were down four offensive linemen last week. They got two of them back in practice yesterday. They were limited. Ronnie Stanley feel like he might play this week for Baltimore. Their left tackle, Joe Alt I don't know that Joe's going to play this week, but it doesn't seem like that injury is as bad as feared. So Joe Walt, he missed practice, but they're kind of speaking optimistically about him and Giants right tackle Jermaine Illumina for tonight's game. He's questionable, has a decent chance to play on defense. Pittsburgh getting a little bit healthier. Joey Porter practiced in full Philadelphia tonight. Nicobe Dean's expected to play their linebacker, but Jalen Carter is questioned. Well, that would certainly help the run game for the Giants. We just don't know what the split's gonna be now with Scatter Boo with Tracy back and Baltimore safety Kyle Hamilton was limited. I do think we should talk about that. Heath, you mentioned you kind of went over the scenarios yesterday. If Tracy plays then this for Scatter Boo. But looks like Tracy's gonna play. So where are you on Scatter Boo?
Heath
He is still ahead of two of our sits for me, Alvin Camara and Derrick Henry. I expect him to be the lead back, but I expect it to be a committee. I've got Scatter boo right around RB22ish and I've got Tracy as a low inflex in the Isaiah Pacheco range.
Dave
Would you guys start Michael Carter over Scatter Boo? Carter's at the Colts.
Jamie
No. Unless we get some report of Tracy's back as the full time guy and Scatter Boo goal line option. But I'd be shocked if they did that.
Dave
Then you're definitely not going to start Kamani Vidal or Hassan Haskins over him.
Heath
No.
Jamie
Okay. No. Unless again, similar report and vice versa for the Chargers. Harbaugh comes out and says one of the two is our guy and we're going to lean on him like we did Hampton. But again, he's already made his comments about the backfield.
Dave
Okay, quick break and then one question for each game when we come back.

Well, I think this is the question of the week, quite frankly. It's this Denver jets game. How confident are you in Garrett Wilson, who's wide receiver 5 right now in PPR, and Cortland Sutton, who's wide receiver 10 right now, in PPR, which we'll start with, which one are you more confident in, Jamie?
Jamie
I'm more confident in Cortland Sutton. I think he can still have some level of success against Sauce Gardner, where Garrett Wilson, you already laid it out. He struggled against the secondary throughout his career. And Pastor Shatan, I just think, is on a different level than. Than Sauce Gardner. So I'm more concerned about Garrett Wilson.
Heath
I did a little bit of a study just looking at the guys that had gone up against Certain so far and what it's done to their target volume, what it's done to their fantasy production. So far this year, they've gotten about 90 of the targets they normally do, which is higher than I expected. Scored about 63% of the fantasy points they normally do. Now, for Garrett Wilson, who's averaging, what, 14, 15 fantasy points per game? 16 fantasy points per game. If he scores two thirds of that, he might still be a good number three wide receiver.
Dave
He's averaging 19 points per 19.
Heath
So, yeah, I mean, if he does, that'll be fine. 12, that's a borderline wide receiver, too, which is about where I have him ranked, I guess. I think the really interesting thing for the Jets, I agree with Jamie. I'm starting Sutton over Wilson, and I'd like to get away from Wilson. I don't think I have any teams where I can. The interesting thing is we've seen some teams move targets around a little bit and throw to somebody else more.
Jamie
Right.
Heath
Who in the world is that on the Jets?
Dave
Mason Taylor, Breeze Hall. But you're right, you're right. I mean, who's done well against the Broncos? Keenan Allen, 11 targets, 19.5 fantasy points. Devonte Smith had a big game against Riley Moss, their number two cornerback. He had 114 yards on 10 targets, 19 fantasy points. Quentin Johnston was actually shadowed by Patrick Certain. I don't remember how many of his fantasy points came against Certain. I feel like he had a big play on like a. I don't remember, but he. He scored 14.9 fantasy points. He had six catches for 89 yards on 10 targets. They've held Lad McConkey, Michael Pittman, Calvin Ridley, T. Higgins, Jamar Chase and A.J. brown to 9.3 or fewer PPR fantasy points. That's Denver and their pass rush. I mean, we can. It's not just the cornerback matchup. The. The Cowboys had a bunch of sacks last week. They had the worst pass rush in football, basically, and they got to Justin Field. So what's the. What are the Broncos going to do. But on the other side, guys, this Dave gave me some good notes here. Cortland Sutton has played the jets in 2022, 2023 and 2024. He scored one touchdown, never had more than 60 yards, never had more than three catches, did not get shadowed by Gardner, but according to PFF, he had one catch for 13 yards on five targets against Sauce Gardner. So, you know, like, I think the.
Heath
Nice thing for Denver is there if you want to speculate on a lower end wide receiver who could benefit from that. Troy Franklin's been a pretty clear number two there. And so if you want to just put in The Broncos Wide Receiver 2 as your wide receiver 3, Troy Franklin could be a decent play this week.
Dave
All right, so Wilson is 29th for Jamie, 17th for Dave, 14th for Heath. Sutton is top 17, 14th to 17th for everybody. So. So clearly you're favoring Sutton over Wilson. Sutton's a start for you guys. Wilson is kind of a flex for the two of you. Jamie, Dave's a little bit higher. You know what, when we get to this game, I think we'll mostly skip the wide receiver talk because we're just gonna.
Heath
And I think that that brings up a good point though. Like when I say I can't find a way to get away from Wilson, the vast majority of my leagues I have to start three wide receivers and we're all starting Garrett Wilson for the most part. If you're in a three wide receiver league, like you just.
Jamie
There was one question in the chat, like I forget, it was Keon Coleman and somebody else for over Garrett Wilson. Like, no, you're not doing that, you know, Right. You got to have still a pretty solid roster to sit Garrett Wilson in three receiver leagues.
Dave
Okay, so how many of the Chargers wide receivers would you start over? Garrett Wilson?
Jamie
All three for me.
Heath
I would start Allen and Johnston. I. I can't. I can't get loud ahead of them.
Dave
How many of the Chargers wide receivers would you start over? Cortland Sutton.
Jamie
Charger receivers.
Dave
Yeah, what did I say?
Heath
I have Allen and Johnson ahead of sudden.
Jamie
I will probably drop Sutton a little bit. So yes, I will start. I definitely.
Heath
Right.
Jamie
Right now Johnston and I'll start Alan over him too.
Dave
So I, I mentioned all those wide receivers against the Broncos that haven't scored even 10 PPR fantasy points like AJ Brown and Lad McConkey. Not that Lakonki was shadowed by. By Sir Tan, but who else? It was Pittman, Ridley.
Heath
Higgins wasn't either. Right?
Dave
No, I. Chase Chase got certain, But Higgins, Chase, A.J. brown, Calvin Ridley, they didn't score 10. It's a similar stat for wide receivers against the jets, but it's more like 13. They've held DK Metcalf, Mike Evans, George Pickens and Tyree Kill to 12.3 to 13.7 PPR. Fantasy points, number two wide receivers have often been better. Calvin Austin was better than Metcalf. Abuka was better than Evans. Ryan Flournoy was better than Pickens. Those are against the Jets. So it's like a similar thing, but not quite as bad as what happens to number one wide receivers against the Broncos. So just something to keep in mind. All right. Well, that was. I know we usually don't go that in depth during this segment, but I really feel like it's, you know, two of the best corners and two of the best fantasy wide receivers. It's really cool. It's really intriguing. Detroit at Kansas City, start or sit Xavier worthy start?
Heath
Yeah, I'm starting them, but you know.
Dave
Where I'm going with this. Xavier worthy of the other two guys.
Jamie
When I adjusted, it will be worthy over both.
Heath
I've got it. Sutton just one spot ahead of Worthy, and Worthy definitely over Wilson.
Jamie
Okay.
Dave
Seattle at Jacksonville. This is an interesting game. Could be a really good game, but the defenses aren't bad. Is Jackson, Smith and Jigba the only must start in this game?
Jamie
No, you're starting etn.
Dave
Let me tell you something about this game, though. Seattle, Jacksonville. I think Cam Ward. Yeah, Cam Ward has the lowest running back target rate in football. 2 and 3 are the two quarterbacks in this game. They don't throw to their running backs. And Seattle's got a great run defense, so it's. It feels like could be a little bit of a trap for etn.
Jamie
I don't.
Heath
Doesn't Seattle. I think Seattle gives up the most receptions to running backs. So I wonder if Trevor Lawrence's running back target rate goes up this week.
Jamie
And it does coincide with Breton Strange being out. So there's, you know, available targets that, you know, could go. Whether it's ETN or not, that remains to be seen. It could be Tootin, you know, but you would hope it's etn. But yes, Keith, you're right. This. This is the team that. I said he. Yeah, I said he.
Dave
You did not say eth.
Jamie
You definitely did. I just. Yes, it's. It is a great situation for ETN or Tootin. Hopefully Etienne to catch the ball.
Dave
Yeah. You think so? Man, they look. They face Christian McCaffrey, Jalen Warren, Rashad White Camara. They face Camara. They face a lot of good pass catching. Running back, Seattle.
Heath
All right.
Dave
Arizona's at Indiana.
Jamie
I mean, it worked out great last week for, for shot, right?
Dave
It did. But like, Brenton Strange missed most of the game last week and etn. How many? Oh, actually he did have a little bump in catches last week, didn't he?
Jamie
Two or three, I think. You, you, you're right. The injury should play a factor, but sometimes coaches adjust their game plans, you know, when they have their, you know, personality.
Dave
He had three catches. I think that was a season high, a tie to season high frame. All right, sorry. Back to one question for each game. Arizona at Indianapolis. Starter sit. Michael Carter.
Jamie
You're wrong, Rob. Low end, number two running back.
Heath
Yeah, Yeah, I, I'd like him better as a flex. I hope I have two better guys, but I don't feel awful about it if I have to start him.
Dave
Michael Carter. Cortland Sutton, Garrett Wilson.
Jamie
Sutton, Carter, Wilson.
Heath
Yeah, that sounds right. Except in full ppr, everything else, Carter's.
Dave
At the top, Chargers at the Dolphins bonanza.
Jamie
I don't know. Could be tough for the Dolphins.
Heath
I mean, this is like, I, I don't really have a lot of confidence in either one of the running backs the Chargers might use. And Miami's run defense was so bad last week, so it's going to be really interesting to see, like, if I hope the Chargers don't just fully commit to the run and then average three and a half yards per carry and it's a slow, boring game.
Dave
Rams are at the Ravens. Can you start any Ravens?
Jamie
I would start Flowers as a low end number two receiver. Ppr.
Heath
I'm starting Flowers, and I think a lot of people are going to be stuck starting Henry. I'd like, I agree with Jamie. I'd like to sit him, but I'd start Derek Henry over Michael Carter.
Dave
How many plays did the Ravens run last week?
Heath
47.
Jamie
40. Effectively or actually they ran 40 plays.
Dave
That's, I mean, shocking. Number Cleveland at Pittsburgh. Starter Sit. DK Metcalf and his five to six targets a game.
Jamie
Number two receiver.
Heath
He. Yeah, I, I feel like I want to rank him lower than I can, but I can't rank him below Garrett Wilson. And I might, I might have to make that change. I mean, it looks like I might have Wilson one spot ahead, but he's. He's that borderline number two, number three. It's kind of like A.J. brown's one spot in front of him. Garrett Wilson's one spot behind him. You got Brian Thomas Jr. And Lad McCaughkey and Devonte Smith in that range. I think you probably start him.
Dave
Okay. It's not exactly a tough matchup. Cleveland's 18th against wide receivers. They just traded. They just made a cornerback swap with the Jaguars. Tennessee at Las Vegas Rank these guys. Tony Pollard, Calvin Ridley, Jacoby. Myers.
Heath
Myers. Pollard.
Jamie
Ridley, Pollard. Myers, Ridley.
Dave
Is it me or does anybody else feel this way? I don't like running back this week.
Jamie
I mean it kind of dies out around like 17, 18.
Dave
Yeah, I like Tony Pollard last week for ex. He just as one guy. For example. I like Michael Carter last week. They have much tougher matchups this week. The Raiders actually have a good run defense. What if they. They don't?
Jamie
The.
Dave
The Titans average 18 running back carries per game. Okay. Last week it was 14 for Pollard, 4 for Spears. If we get more of a split, 18 is not going to cut it, you know.
Heath
And they said we're getting more of a split.
Dave
Yeah, they did. They've been saying it all off season too. So I'm nervous about. About Pollard.
Jamie
But you also have a situation where they actually may be playing with the lead in this game.
Dave
Yeah, they've had such a. Titans have been horrible offensively. They have played off top of my head with the Broncos, Rams, Texans, Cardinals and one other.
Jamie
Who?
Dave
Colts, Colts. I mean they've had a really tough schedule, so this is the easiest defense they've faced. All right, here we go. Denver at the Jets. If you are looking for wide receiver stats or notes, you're not going to get it because we just talked about that for extensively. And one question for each game. So what about the quarterbacks? Who do you like better, Fields or Knicks?
Jamie
Nicks.
Heath
I think I have Nicks one spot higher.
Dave
And where are they?
Heath
Are they starts 11 and 12?
Jamie
Knicks is right around 11 and Fields is 13 14.
Dave
Okay.
Jamie
They don't allow rushing production to quarterbacks. It's pretty obvious at this point. Who?
Dave
The Broncos.
Jamie
Yeah. Yeah. It's 13, 13 carries for 15 yards if I remember correctly. And that's against. I know Daniel Jones isn't running as much, but that was early in the season against Daniel Jones. That's against Jalen Hurts who did next to nothing running the ball. That's against Just Herbert.
Dave
Six yards.
Jamie
Yep.
Dave
Yeah. Cam Ward, Jake Browning were the others. All right. It's just, you know, Fields is. Fields and Wilson have had these kind of garbage time touchdowns each of the last two weeks that have really boosted their stock.
Jamie
Oh, I know. I was sweating it out last Week. Yeah.
Heath
And they'll probably have a garbage time opportunity in this game.
Dave
Yeah. And then Nick's kind of a borderline start. The jets are. The jets are not good though, against quarterbacks. They allow the fifth most fantasy points to quarterbacks. So why is he only, you know, 12th?
Jamie
Ish. Bonix feels like a run game for Denver.
Heath
And he hasn't exactly been good this year.
Jamie
He's been good in these scenarios though, against bad defenses.
Dave
Yeah, Cincinnati had a huge game. Colts, he had a big game. Azer stat would had a good game against the Chargers. But remember that was the game where he just missed on some deep balls. But that's what he does. All right, Denver running backs here. I can't imagine we're starting RJ Harvey. So I talked about like Travis ETN and I have like some concerns about ETN. Would you start Dobbins or ETN?
Jamie
Dobbins.
Heath
I have ETN one spot higher. Both 16 and 17.
Dave
Okay, so these guys are, are still guys we should be confident in starting. Dobbins is around 15 fantasy points in four or five games and 83 or more total yards in four or five games. For, for J.K. dobbins, he has a.
Jamie
Touchdown or 100 yards rushing, I believe in every game this season.
Dave
How about that? Yeah. And then one game with 100 yards, he did not have the touchdown, but he only has five, six catches in five games. Okay, Sutton, I do think there is.
Jamie
A R.J. harvey garbage time potential here. You're not starting him with any confidence, but like if you are stuck, this is, this is very similar to the Cincinnati game for me, like how they use him.
Dave
So Sutton is about 15th, 16th, 17 in the rankings. What about. And you kind of briefly alluded to it, Heath, Troy, Franklin, Marvin Mims. You like either of these guys?
Heath
Franklin, yes. Mims, not really. Franklin is a wide receiver. 3. So top 36 guy. Not somebody who's like, you're itching to start, but he's a good fill in in a pinch.
Dave
Anybody want to start Evan Ingram? He has seven targets in his last two games. The jets have allowed four touchdowns to tight ends in their last two games. Anybody want to start Ingram?
Jamie
He's not a bad desperation play. I mean, a lot of people dropped him, you know, one of his injuries and whatnot. But it's such a good week for tight ends, which is not something we say very often. So like I would rather start Theo Johnson over Ingram. Like you can make a case of Ingram vs. Juwan Johnson, for example, that he's in A little better spot based on where his role may be going versus where Johnson's may be going. But I still don't think he's a mustard guy like Mason Taylor should be easy start over Ingram at this point.
Heath
For me, at least, there's eight guys I want to start at tight end this week and, like, eight more that I'm fine with starting. And Evan Ingram's kind of at the bottom of that second group.
Dave
Is there anyone that you love in this game? Do we love Breeze Hall?
Jamie
Yeah. I mean, just based on what he's done for the majority of the season and certainly what he's done the last two games without Braylon Allen there, he's getting goal line opportunities. He's certainly doing a lot of work in the passing game. So to your question earlier about, you know, if Garrett Wilson's taken out of this, I. I do think Mason Taylor has a chance for a big game. I do think Breeze hall has a chance for a big game catching the ball. But we kind of saw that through the first three quarters last week against a bad defense for Dallas. Like, they were struggling despite the fact that Breeze hall was running very well. Like, he got, I think, a 9 for 79, including a fumble in that stretch, and they just kept stalling out in terms of their drives. So I think the must plays clearly, the Broncos defense, that's an easy1. The J.K. dobbins, Breeze hall, you know, they're clearly. You mentioned running back being what it is. Like, they're easy starts for me. And then it's the receivers, I think just, you know, Sutton's a. A mid tier, lower tier or wide receiver, too.
Heath
Oh, yeah. I got a fun azer stat.
Jamie
Oh.
Heath
In the three full games that Justin Fields has played, Breeze hall is averaging 137 yards per game.
Dave
That's pretty brief. I mean, it's a lesson to be learned. Breeze hall and Javante Williams, two years removed from their knee injuries, look much better than they did one year for sure.
Heath
Yes, it should. Yeah. We had a. Speaking of dynasty, Tram asked in the chat if FFT Dynasty is on YouTube, and I just wanted to say. Yes, Tram, it is. And we had Matt Waldman on to talk about the rookies, and he gave some really, really interesting takes, some good stuff. So you guys go check that out. He's very excited for Luther Burton.
Dave
Oh, okay. Justin Fields or Sam Darnold Against Jacksonville?
Jamie
I still go Fields, but that's close one.
Heath
Fields.
Dave
Justin Fields or Daniel Jones?
Heath
Fields.
Jamie
Still Fields, but they're back to back.
Dave
For Me, Justin Fields or a maybe not super healthy Jaden Daniels.
Jamie
Daniels.
Heath
Daniels.
Dave
All right, let's see what else in this game. I think that's pretty much it. Mason Taylor. You guys. Where's Mason Taylor for you guys?
Jamie
Top 10.
Heath
I think he's 12 or 13.
Dave
Theo Johnson or Mason Taylor? I know the Heath's answers. Theo. Jamie.
Jamie
It is Theo Taylor for me.
Dave
Kyle Pitts or Mason Taylor.
Jamie
As of now, I'm expecting Mooney to play. So I don't love the situation for pits against the Bills. So I would go. Mason Taylor.
Heath
I've got pits.
Dave
Last one. Najoku or Mason Taylor. Detroit's at Kansas City. Okay. So I'm hoping that the Chiefs can score because I want to debunk this Jared Goff outdoors thing. His problem this year has not been indoor out or whatever. I mean, they're better at home. Not gonna. I'm not gonna say they aren't. He's got four straight games of 28 or fewer pass attempts. All right, we need more pass attempts from. From Jared Goff.
Heath
I think the Chiefs have the second highest implied total of the week. So you. Vegas thinks you're going to get your wish.
Dave
Excellent. And I think teams do throw a lot on the Chiefs, I think. But listen, last year, Jared Goff was tied for first in yards per attempt outdoors. He was second in touchdown rate. He just.
Jamie
He.
Dave
He was great, you know, and he had the fourth fewest pass attempts outdoors, but he was great. This year, his numbers are definitely better indoors than outdoors. He's seventh in yards per attempt overall. He's 12th in yards per attempt outdoors. So he must be really high indoors. But remember, they haven't played that many games, but he's still first in completion rate outdoors. Like, I don't. I don't think this is an indoor outdoor thing unless there's.
Jamie
It's never really been an indoor outdoor thing. It's indoor, outdoor and opponent, you know, so take the three games that he's played outdoors. He played a really tough Green Bay team outdoors, and he struggled. He played a really bad Baltimore team outdoors and did not have to do very much because they ran the ball. And he played a terrible Bengals team outdoors, and he was awesome. And so this is not the setup for him to where he typically does. Well. The hope would be. Is exactly what you talked about with the potential points that this is a shootout.
Dave
That's what I'm saying. You know, that this is.
Jamie
Does that happen from the Chief's perspective? Because that just hasn't been their M.O.
Dave
Also, can the Chiefs do well against the run? Because The Ravens scored 30 points against the Lions, but the Lions still ran all over them and. And he only threw 28 passes in that game. Can they stop the run a little bit?
Heath
This. This has to be the game of the week tomorrow, right?
Dave
Oh, I forgot. Yeah.
Jamie
Could.
Dave
Definitely a candidate. Definitely. Definitely on the short list. All right, so Jared Goff, Justin Fields.
Jamie
I'll take Fields.
Heath
Fields.
Jamie
Okay.
Dave
Jared Goff or Jared Goff or Mac Jones?
Jamie
I'll take Jones.
Dave
If.
Heath
Yeah, I've got Jones. A little too low in my rankings, but if Brock Purdy doesn't practice again today, I'll move him up to where he goes and he'll be ahead of Goff and Fields.
Dave
All right, so. Oh, wait, someone said Dave entered the chat. Dave better not be in the chat. We're just talking about game of the week. I don't want to give anything away. Start Jamir Gibbs. Start us at David Montgomery.
Jamie
Low end, RB2. With the week that we're dealing with, I'd start him over Henry. To me, they're the same guy. Touchdown dependent. And his offense is much better.
Heath
To me, I've got Henry just ahead of him. Montgomery's at 24. I would start him over Pollard and Carter and Camara.
Dave
Chiefs are actually allowing 4.9 yards per carry to running backs. Their run defense has not been that good, but obviously we're getting very little in the passing game from. From Montgomery. All right. Start Saint Brown, Jameson Williams. We just can't do it, right?
Jamie
No, I would start just the guy that we talked about. Troy Franklin over Jameson Williams. Okay.
Dave
And Sam Laporta. Like him, love him. Settle for him. Start them.
Jamie
That's a great way to frame it. Settle for him.
Dave
Settle for him. Chiefs so far have allowed the third fewest fantasy points to tight ends. The only really good one they face, I guess, would be. I don't even know if I mark. Mark Andrews had seven catches for 30 yards. We don't know how tough of a matchup this is, but Laporta, speaking of someone who has a Laporta, I mean, I've never. I'm never replacing him. Just start him. Patrick Mahomes is top four.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
All right.
Dave
He's been great. I did have a stat of the game on Mahomes. He has. Oh, how about this? Let's just compare the two quarterbacks who have the the most deep ball pass attempts in football. 20 or more air yards. Patrick Mahomes is 7 of 26, 272 yards and one touchdown. That's pretty bad. Baker Mayfield is 12 of 29, 432 yards, six touchdowns. Mayfield has six touchdowns on his deep balls. Mahomes has won. Mahomes is just like really struggled in deep balls, but at least he throws them. All right, so start Mahomes. We're not starting a Chiefs running back, right?
Heath
No.
Jamie
Hunt will help you. If he scores, he will hurt you. If he doesn't, Pacheco will just hurt you in general. You want to. Why don't you share with the audience your, your text messages with me?
Dave
Pacheco got off to such a nice start against the Jaguars.
Jamie
So I, I will say this. I was at a baseball game, so I was going to watch the game after the fact, and the only text I got from Adam was this, I suck. And then no, no context whatsoever. Just, I suck.
Dave
JB puts a question mark on it and it's. It said I looked like, it looked like Pacheco was set up for a good game after I finally dropped him. But then they went away from him, so he sucks now. It doesn't matter how well he plays. He doesn't play on third down. He doesn't play near the goal line. As far as the wide receiver goes, we talked about Worthy. He's a, he's a number two wide receiver. The guys are starting Xavier Worthy. It's go. Sutton Worthy, Garrett Wilson. Unless he, I think Heath has Sutton and Worthy back to back. But would anybody start Taekwond Thornton? Would you start Taekwond Thornton or Jameson Williams?
Jamie
I mean, that's a Spider man meme at this point. You know, I, I. Why would you not take a chance on Taekwond? More Southern Jameson Williams right now?
Dave
Because Detroit is allowing a lot of.
Heath
Big plays, so I would start Williams, but I don't want to start either.
Dave
Okay. And Travis Kelsey, Mason Taylor, Theo Johnson, Kyle Pitts, anyone we might have picked up off waivers. Are we starting Kelsey or those guys?
Heath
Kelsey for one more week.
Jamie
Kelsey.
Dave
Yeah, we should have talked about him in the cell high. I think for a lot of people it might be obvious and maybe it won't happen again, but last year he averaged four targets per game when Rasheed Rice was healthy the first three games of the season. He's coming off his best game. He got lucky with a. Should have been a pass interference that took away his touchdown. But, you know, the Chiefs get all the calls, obviously, so.
Jamie
What, what do you mean by the pick play?
Dave
Yeah, the referee on the show, on, on ESPN said it should have been pass interference.
Jamie
Yeah, next time you should. Let's let Andy Reid give the explanation as opposed to the referee. Within a yard of the line of scrimmage, you're allowed to do that.
Dave
I know, but it wasn't within a lot. It's where the contact is made. And that wasn't within a yard of the line of scrimmage. He said it was close, but it should have been pass interference. Also clear pass interference on their interception. I don't think anyone can can dispute that. They just knock the receiver down and intercept it. Come on. All right.
Jamie
Yeah.
Dave
But anyway, you could sell high on Travis Kelsey. Sit the dsts, Seattle's at Jacksonville. Question of the game. Cause this is huge. Why do teams throw so much on the Jaguars? The Jaguars see the second most pass attempts per game in the NFL. We know if Sam Darnold throws, he's going to be really good. Heath, how many pass attempts do you have him projected for? Sorry to throw that at you.
Heath
27.
Dave
Oh, that's not a lot. That's not a lot. Jamie, what do you think? Past attempts for Sam Darnold?
Jamie
Part of it for Jacksonville is they played Cincinnati and San Francisco. So two of the more past happy teams. I think we'll get 30 plus attempts just because I think like you said, this is a tough team to run on in Jacksonville.
Heath
And part of it for Jacksonville is they don't sack anybody.
Dave
Oh, that's interesting. C.J. stroud had his most pass attempts of the season against Jacksonville. Bryce Young, second most past attempts of the season against Jacksonville. And it's also relevant for Cooper cup because in the two games where Sam Darnold's thrown 33 to 34 passes, he's had nine targets in both of those games. Makes him a streamer. Otherwise you're not going to want to start him.
Heath
All right, These are the teams with fewer sacks in five games than Jacksonville. Baltimore, San Francisco, Carolina. That's the list.
Jamie
It's amazing that Baltimore and San Francisco are on that list.
Dave
Yeah, it really is. All right, so in general, how are we feeling about this game here? Who do we like? You know, a lot of like. I feel like there are a lot of like number twos at their positions.
Jamie
Yeah, I mean, you asked us at the start of the show, right? So Jackson Smith, the jigba is a must start. And then I think you start to look at it as ETN is a mid tier number two running back. I know Heath is a little bit higher than I am, but still you're starting him. I think Ken Walker is Probably still a starter, you know, So I would start Walker, for example, over Derrick Henry and Alvin Camara.
Heath
I would.
Jamie
Even with the splits, Charbonnet is really interesting just because he scored each of the last two games. Can he find the end zone again? So I think you're talking about flex options. He's in that conversation. But you're not starting him ahead of Henry or Khmer. At least I'm not so touchdown dependent running back. And in the case of Brian Thomas Jr. And Cooper cup and certainly Travis Hunter, like they're at best number three receivers. I would still put Thomas as a starter in three receiver leagues. But you know, what are we getting at this point? His best game was last week where he scored 12 PPR points. Like, is this where we are with him right now? Like we're just hoping he gets the 12. Yeah. Against a pretty good secondary.
Dave
And what does he have? He has a rushing touchdown this year. He doesn't have a receiving touchdown. Seattle's 12th against wide receivers. And again, I think they're getting a little healthier in their secondary as well. So he's below Garrett Wilson.
Jamie
I have them Back to back 29 and 30.
Dave
Heath, Garrett Wilson or Brian Thomas Jr.
Heath
I will go with Garrett Wilson.
Dave
Would you start Michael Carter or Brian.
Jamie
Thomas Jr. Carter in all formats?
Heath
Yeah, I think that's probably the right play to go. The other thing I will say in this game is like if you're desperate for a wide receiver, I know a lot of people are. Cooper Cup's been dropped in a couple of places. The two times that Sam Darnold has thrown more than 30 passes, Cooper cup has had nine targets.
Dave
He just pulled a. Dave. Yeah, you did a little bit there. But look, I've been talking a lot, so I, I can understand being tuned out.
Heath
You say the same thing.
Dave
Yeah, but listen, I mean, Sam Darnold, he is leading the NFL in yards per attempt. He's coming off a 36 point fantasy game. And the Jacksonville Jaguars see the most. Second most fantasy point, seven most pass attempts. It's just. All right, we got it. We got a few questions here about Darnold. Darnold or golf?
Heath
I love that I did that.
Dave
It's okay. I do it all the time.
Heath
No, I think, yeah, we've all done it this year.
Dave
But golf, Sam Darnold for Jamie, golfer Heath, AJ Barner, Mark Andrews or Theo Johnson? I'll take Theo Charbonnet, Kamani Vidal or Isaiah Pacheco.
Jamie
As of now, I would take a chance on Vidal, but the safer route is probably Charbonnet just because of the touchdown. Like we could get the same amount of touches for Charbonne Vidal.
Heath
Yeah.
Dave
By the way, you guys starting Cooper cup or Brian Thomas Jr.
Jamie
Right now? Still Thomas.
Heath
Thomas. But if Sam Donald throws 30 passes, Cooper cup has nine.
Dave
Yeah, right. Yeah. Would you start Brian Thomas Jr. Or Ken Walker?
Heath
Walker.
Jamie
Walker, Yeah.
Dave
I mean, Walker. It's obvious. It's frustrating with. With Ken Walker because he's not getting any catches. And the Jaguars are giving up what, 3.9 yards per carry to running backs. Last week wasn't their best. They gave up a 33 yard run to Kareem Hunt. But let's see. Four running backs have had 32 or more receiving yards against Jacksonville. So that's good. But again, it's one catch and four straight games for Ken Walker.
Jamie
It's an interesting setup just because Jacksonville's coming off a very big emotional victory on a short week and Seattle's coming off a tough loss at home. We know about the long road trip and you know, the early start, so just keep that in mind. But I do think if Sam Darnold throws the ball a little bit more, there's a chance for Cooper cup to have potentially a good game.
Dave
Running back in this game or JK Dobbins.
Heath
Dobbins.
Dave
Dobbins running back in this game or a Packers wide receiver against the Bengals.
Jamie
Etienne.
Heath
Yeah, both.
Jamie
Okay. And by the way, yeah, Dobbs has a chance to be good, but it's tough to say he's better than these running backs.
Dave
Trevor Lawrence is not a start. 20th, 21st, 19th and 24th for Jamie. Dave Heath, you like a DST in this game.
Jamie
You know, Jacksonville has been very turnover prone or turn turning teams over. I don't know what's they've been.
Dave
Their defense. Yeah.
Jamie
Prone to creating turnovers. So desperation play maybe. But I feel like if I had to start one of the two, I would start Seattle's just because as he said, you know, the. The lack of sacks, lack of quarterback pressure has been a problem.
Dave

Dave
Let's talk about Arizona at Indianapolis. These two teams are actually top four in scoring defense. Only Houston and Denver allow fewer points per game than Arizona and Indianapolis. So he's kind of interesting that the total is 46 and a half.
Heath
Yeah, I don't have both of their schedules in front of me, but it feels like that may be have something to do with it.
Dave
Arizona has faced these Saints, Panthers, Niners, Seahawks and Titans. So yes, Indianapolis has faced a harder schedule than that. But Miami, Denver, Tennessee, Rams and Raiders. Okay, so obviously if Kyler Murray doesn't play, it changes everything. But if Kyler Murray does play, Trey McBride's a start. We got to start Marvin Harrison, right? I mean, just like stop asking. Just start him.
Jamie
Yes.
Heath
I don't know. Like he's a borderline wide receiver too, but I don't know. What about this season would make you say that, Adam? Like it's basically he's the same exact guy that he was last year.
Dave
Basically, yeah. I think the second I asked that question, I regretted the wording. I think the state of the wide receiver position is.
Heath
There we go.
Dave
What makes me ask that question? They say they want to get him more targets. I'm guessing he's doing pretty well from a yards per out run rate because he just. I don't know about that actually, but he's Been so close to having these bigger games. Came up a yard short of a touchdown last week. Had those two big drops against San Francisco, including one in the end zone. And the Colts allow the fifth most fantasy points to wide receivers. I think they're a little bit better than that, if you, like, really look into it.
Jamie
Oh, you might have the double revenge game narrative here. Jacoby Brissette against the Colts and Marvin Harrison, the place where his dad played.
Dave
Yeah, that's another element of it, too. There is that little sentimental thing. If Kyler plays, would you start him?
Jamie
No.
Heath
No.
Dave
All right, so tell me how you feel about Michael Carter. And if I may, do we have time. Completely useless comment that I'm.
Heath
We've only got six games left. It's fine.
Dave
Yeah. I'm just going to say this because why not? I would not be surprised if Bam Knight got more carries this week. Not going to treat it that way, but I wouldn't be shocked. How do we feel about Michael Carter?
Jamie
More carries than Carter or more carries for himself? Because I think he can get the touches that were maybe going for DiMarcado.
Dave
Well, they DeMarcato and Night combined for seven carries. Carter had 18. A lot.
Heath
The way they keep apologizing to DeMercado, they might have to start him. Like it might be some sort of settlement issue over him getting yelled at.
Dave
No, not more carries than Carter, by the way, Jamie. Just enough to. Enough to really hurt Carter in a worse matchup than what he had last week. But I. Yeah, I'm not approaching it that way. I'm not approaching it that way.
Jamie
I think in the case of. Carter had 23 total touches in a game that they were playing with a lead the majority of the time. So you have to expect in this case, especially if Kyler's not there. Now, listen, if Kyler's not there, we may see some more on schedule plays from Brissette throwing from the pocket as opposed to Kyler escaping the pocket. So that might help Marvin Harrison. It may help Trey McBride. I do think, though, in the case of Carter, the thing that I'm kind of hoping for is the five targets and five catches stays in that range.
Dave
Yes.
Jamie
So. And the chance to fall in the end zone. So there's, like you said, this is a crappy week of running backs. And the fact that I would even think. I don't know where you are, Heath, fully on this, but like, I. The fact that I would even consider starting Carter over Henry and Camara just kind of is more an indication of where those guys are as opposed to liking Carter. So if he can get north of 15 total touches, I would think that's going to happen. Then I think he's in that borderline number two flex range. Because if you, if you think about it, in the, I'll say, the James Connor era, the starting running back for the Cardinals, most of has been Connor, which is, you know, take that into account, has found a way to be productive. Like they, They've been a good running back. Team for fantasy.
Dave
Yes.
Jamie
Even. Even in the games where Connor has missed that second player has done well.
Dave
Mm, absolutely. And you know, the catches are really what drew me to Michael Carter to begin with because they throw to their running backs. Even though he played. He ran. He ran one route on third down and he had five catches. He just. He doesn't need the third down rule. All right, so. But. But obviously, like, he's not a great player. The Colts are not a very good run defense, though. They've. They've faced some good running backs, but they've given up four and a half yards per carry to running backs on the other side. Heath, how do you feel about the Colts? You. I got. We said earlier, you all have Daniel Jones, 14th to 16th, so you don't love him.
Heath
Colts are probably the easiest team.
Jamie
Yeah.
Heath
They're always like, Daniel Jones makes it complicated. And we're not starting him this week. But Jonathan Taylor's maybe the best running back in football. Michael Pittman's a number two wide receiver. Tyler Warren's a top three tight end. And you probably don't want to start anybody else.
Jamie
I will say this about Jones. You can get the same game you got last week from him, 212 and 2, 20 fantasy points. He's been 20 or more fantasy points in every home game this year.
Dave
This is amazing. The Cardinals, I don't know what to make of this, but they've. I think it's probably just the matchups. They see the. As I keep saying, the most quarterback pass attempts in the NFL and yet fifth fewest fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. They must be pretty good. I think they're touchdown.
Heath
They've played a lot of bad quarterbacks who have been behind and had to throw a lot.
Dave
I guess so.
Jamie
I mean, Bryce Young, 55 attempts in that game against them.
Dave
Spencer Rattler, 46.
Jamie
They've had honestly, one of the easiest schedules you could find from opponent standpoint.
Dave
Yeah.
Jamie
Like you look at the quarterbacks who have faced them, it's just a miserable list.
Dave
All right, let me See if I have any questions here. Michael Carter or Stefon Diggs?
Jamie
Dicks.
Heath
Dicks.
Dave
Michael Carter or Zach Charbonnet?
Jamie
Carter. Carter.
Dave
We usually have a ton of. Oh, here's Josh Downs or Tyrone Tracy.
Jamie
I would probably go Downs. You know, did have six catches last week. Like we. Tracy's such a wild card right now.
Heath
I would go Tracy, but no confidence in that.
Dave
Yeah, we usually have a lot of Daniel Jones questions. Daniel Jones or Mac Jones? There's one.
Jamie
I'll go Daniel Jones, but it's close.
Heath
I'll go Mac. Assuming Birdie's out.
Dave
Rico Dowdle or Michael Carter? We're definitely going Dowdle.
Jamie
Yep.
Dave
Travion Henderson or Michael Carter?
Heath
Carter.
Jamie
Carter.
Dave
Carter. Camara.
Jamie
Carter. For me.
Heath
Yeah, it's Carter. I. I do have Carter behind Henry, but I have Carter ahead of Camaro and Carter.
Dave
Jalen Warren or Chase Brown?
Jamie
I would go Carter.
Heath
I'll go Chase Brown in full PPR.
Dave
Last one here, Marvin Harrison Jr. Cam Scatteraboo. DeAndre Swift, start two.
Jamie
I would sit Scatterboo.
Heath
I would sit Harrison.
Jamie
Okay.
Dave
All right. And the DSTs in this game, you guys like the Colts.
Jamie
You.
Dave
He actually likes the Cardinals, too. Dave and Jamie do not like the Cardinals. Cardinals, man. Like, remember week one, they had. Who was it? New Orleans didn't really come through. Last week they had Tennessee. Didn't really come through. They've been a little disappointing that DST.
Heath
I've lowered the Cardinals. They're 15th for me now.
Dave
Okay, so let's not start them. Next game, Chargers at Miami. Stat of the game. Miami sees the second fewest wide receiver targets per game in the NFL. And no quarterback has thrown more than 30 passes against the Dolphins. They see the fifth most running back carries per game in the NFL. So teams run on them. But will this team be able to do that? It's be a different, different game script with Omarion Hampton there. But, you know, look, if for a team where we might be saying to start three wide receivers, does it concern you at all, Heath, that the Dolphins see the second fewest wide receiver targets per game in the NFL?
Heath
I think so much of this again, and it's five weeks and we want to have data that really matters. But so much of this is influenced by who they've played. And last week against Carolina was a team you would expect to have a lot of wide receiver targets. But Rico Dall ran for 200 yards, so they didn't have to throw that much the week before they played the Jets. They just don't really throw the week before that they played the Bills. If the Bills are ahead, they don't really want to throw that much. They played the Colts in week one. I. I just think this is so much about. They've played some really good running backs and some really run heavy teams and I. They haven't been. They don't put teams in a situation where they need to pass because they're always behind. And this might be the case again. But the thing that you hope for Quentin Johnston, KEENAN Allen and lad McConkey is that Kamani Vidal and Hassan Haskins are not efficient rushers. And so the Chargers, who I think have the second highest pass rate over expected so far this year behind only the Chiefs or maybe just ahead of the Chiefs that the Chargers will keep passing.
Dave
Do we like Justin Herbert? He's been ice cold three straight games with 16.6 or fewer fantasy points.
Heath
I'm starting him.
Jamie
Yeah, I think you go running right back to him just because he's probably gonna. It wouldn't shock me. I'm sure this is not anything earth shattering like he's their best rusher this week.
Dave
Last week.
Jamie
Well, he. And he was the start of the season too, you know, like he was leading them in rushing yards. I believe for the first two weeks of the season. We had 60 yards in two games. So this is an opportunity for him to, you know, take control of the offense again. I don't think this Dolphin secondary is one to fear. I think as you guys alluded to, it's kind of just been game script dependent and who they played. This feels like a Justin Herbert game.
Dave
Rank I'll get to the running backs in a minute. Rank the all the wide receivers in this game. The big four.
Heath
Waddle, Keenan, Quentin, Lad.
Jamie
I would just flip flop Quentin and Keenan, but.
Dave
So waddle one, McConkey four and then some order in between.
Jamie
Yep.
Dave
Okay. And yeah, obviously this could be, this could be a really good game for. For fantasy because the Dolphins stink and on defense, but they also give us some good fantasy points. Tua. On the other hand, two is 17th for Jamie and Dave. He's 21st, I think. Although I could be a little outdated with those rankings.
Heath
I think that's. That sounds right.
Dave
Okay. He's actually 18th for Jamie, 17th for Dave and 22nd for Heath. So it's changed just a little bit since yesterday. Start H and start waddle Darren Waller. All right, I'll save Kamani Vidal and Haskins for last, but Darren Waller is fifth for Dave and Jamie. Let me make sure I got it up.
Heath
He's 12 for me. I. I moved him up a little bit. He had. I'm so excited about Darren Waller. I am pretty terrified about the matchup.
Dave
All right, let's go over it. Travis Kelsey, week one, two catches, 47 yards and a touchdown. Remember that kind of trick play that he scored on? Not trick play, but gimmicky play. He scored on Brock Bowers in Week 2, five catches, 38 yards on eight targets against the Chargers. Theo Johnson caught a touchdown in week three or four. And Zach Ertz last week against the Chargers, one target, no catches. So, yes, this does seem like a genuinely tough matchup.
Heath
And that was my favorite stat of the week. And I'm not here for the Commanders game, so we can't make this your stat of the game tomorrow. That was the first game that Zach Ertz has played without a catch since November 27, 2014.
Dave
Wow. Were you even working at fantasy football today at that point? I started football today at cbs.
Heath
I think I was working at fantasy baseball today then. No, I started in 2015. So Zach Ertz had caught a pass in every game that he had played during my tenure at cbs.
Dave
Who did you say was like in middle school or something the last time?
Heath
No, not middle school. Harold Fannin was in fifth grade.
Dave
Fifth grade. That was good stuff. Jamie, you're more optimistic for Waller.
Jamie
I just think that with the, you know, opportunity of Tyree Kill being gone and we've seen the playing time increase, he gets used in a little different ways than traditional tight ends, especially in this offense. So given the week, I still trust him.
Dave
Okay. Tua is banged up. I. Yeah, people are saying that in the chat and I forgot to mention he is nursing a couple of injuries right now, so we should keep that in mind. I don't think it's going to change the rankings for Waddle a Channer Waller necessarily, unless we get more information. All right, so we're going to finish with Kamani Vidal and Hassan Haskins. And Jamie, how did you rank those two this week?
Jamie
Back to back, Vidal one spot ahead. They're both flexes. I will say this because there's an easy opportunity here for one of them, if not potentially both of them, to do something significant. Sell them after this week because someone's going to get excited if they have a big game and it's the Dolphins, it's not going to be sustainable. And then Hampton's coming back. So with all the bye weeks that we're going to be starting to deal with, especially week eight, if you can Turn the best running back from the Chargers backfield. If one stands out significantly more than the other one, trade them now. But it. There's no indication. Unless I miss something. I've tried to read everything from the Chargers. I read what Harbaugh said. I don't think we've seen video of who's been the first one in practice yet. So I have no answer. I mean, I don't know about you, Heath. I was at a baseball practice last night. Parent came up to me and said, hey, Vidal or Haskins? I was like, blubber coin. Like there's really no rhyme or reason to it.
Heath
And last week, like, we were not really very sure on Tuesday between Carter and D. Mercado, and Wednesday we were kind of. We were favoring Carter, but it was just because we thought so. And then Thursday, I think it was that Carter said in the locker room that he was starting. And so I. I'm just. And we got some information about him going first in line. So I'm hopeful. I'm gonna if follow those reports and I'm gonna follow them too. And I'll rank whoever the beat writers and the practice reports are reporting or leading the backfield, but I'm not. I think both guys are going to get work. I don't think it will be as clear cut as it was with Carter last week.
Dave
Okay, some questions for this game real quick. Jalen waddle, Brian Thomas Jr. Or D.K. metcalf?
Jamie
Waddle.
Heath
Oh, yeah.
Dave
Haskins or Vidal? You just said that. Vidal ahead one spot. Waller or Laporta?
Jamie
Waller for me.
Heath
Laporta for me.
Dave
Lab. McConkey, Jalen, Warren or Michael Carter? Who sits?
Jamie
I would sit. Warren. Just with the uncertainty of what happens there, plus a very tough matchup.
Heath
Awful matchup. Yes, I agree.
Dave
Remember when I said I didn't like running back? That was the one guy who kind of inspired it is the Warren, Warren, Pollard, Carter, you know, Charger situation. They just have bad matchups or bad situations. Herbert Love or Caleb? Who you starting?
Jamie
Herbert.
Heath
I've got her. Herbert and Love and Caleb are back to. Back to back for me at 4, 5 and 6. No, 5, 6 and 7. I'm gonna go with Love.
Jamie
Okay.
Dave
How many games we have left? I think we have three left. I suspect we're gonna leave one for tomorrow. So let's go to Rams at Ravens here. Stat of the game. Five wide receivers have scored 15.6 or more PPR fantasy points in the last four games against the Rams. Maybe you thought I was going to say the Ravens but five wide receivers have scored 15.6 or more fantasy points against the Rams in their last four games. That's Alec IO Manner, both Eagles receivers, Michael Pittman and Kendrick Bourne. So it's been a good matchup.
Heath
I think Derek Henry is the only tough call in this game for me at least. I'm starting Stafford, I'm starting Kyron, I'm starting Puka, I'm starting Adams, I'm starting Zay, and Henry is. I hope I have someone to start over.
Dave
Dave sent me a link yesterday. I don't want to misquote Stephen O. Who does our Sportsline projections, but I don't think he likes Stafford that much. I don't know if Thomas, you have that information of where Sportsline has.
Jamie
He does not. So there. It's, there's a story on our site that they do some of their data that they don't put behind the paywall for SportsLine. And I was going to bring this up when you said it, he you kind of alluded to this, Adam, that game flow could be bad for Stafford and game flow from a perspective of they're playing with the lead and he's handing the ball off a lot late in the game.
Dave
Yeah, I mean, I don't know if I said this last week, but from 2020 to 2022, the Ravens were 4 and 9 without Lamar Jackson. They averaged 16.2 points per game. They scored 10 points last week. They're awful without Lamar Jackson. They were unusually bad last week. They scored, they ran 40 plays, which is insanely low. But yeah, I don't know. It just, it does worry me a little bit. Just how. I mean, one thing to say, Matthew Stafford is a start. You guys have him in the top six. Six for Jamie and Dave, fourth for Heath. You know, that's, that's a lot of faith in a guy. If they blow them out, what's that going to look like? Especially when he.
Jamie
Well, I mean, this is a defense that just made CJ Straight Stroud look great again. And Mahomes was great the week before. Like the Rams, honestly, they could do whatever they want to against this defense if the offense for Baltimore is as bad as we expect it to be. And so I would not be shocked if this is like a 203 game for Stafford, you know, where he's not necessarily getting to the 300 yards per game. But we've seen this defense. They give up broken plays. It's just not the same team right now. And so I think if you're looking at Stafford and you know, so like, you know, Stafford and Jaden Daniels for example, or Stafford and I'm trying to think of the must start guys like Justin Field. To me, Stafford's easier.
Dave
I have, I have Stafford and Caleb Williams. It's tough. I think I'm gonna go in Stafford, six point per passing, touchdown.
Jamie
Yeah, I would too. You know, so it's, it's just one of those scenarios of could Stafford let you down because it's a run game for the Rams or maybe there's some turnovers in the defense scores like that obviously could. But I just think you, you take your chances with what this matchup has been and how hot he's been. And I, I get it. You know, it's been a lot of throwing because of necessity, but it's also, you know, I feel like Sean McVeigh, when he gets in this rhythm with Stafford, he doesn't like to stop it.
Heath
Somebody put something about you guys are overthinking it in the chat. And I think that's like you have a quarterback that's averaging 24 fantasy points per game and he's playing a defense that's giving up 28 fantasy points per game. And yes, this is fantasy football. All types of dumb things happen every week. And it could happen to Matthew Stafford this week, but you can't, like, you just start that guy.
Dave
All right, fair enough. Start as he said, start Kyron, start. Puka, start. Adams, sit the Rams tight end. Sit Cooper Rush, who, you know, somebody also said, I gave that stat about all the wide receivers who had done well against the Rams. I said, well, how many of them had Cooper Rush throwing to them? Well, Cooper Rush was actually pretty good for CD Lamb on two separate occasions. You know, he's not that big of a drop off usually. And, and Zay Flowers had zay flowers at a 25 target share or better in four or five games. So do you. So is it just like I'm gonna start him because you know he's been good, or is it I'm excited to start Zay Flowers.
Jamie
I think it's kind of the LaPorta comment you make like you're, you're settling for Zay Flowers. So I like Flowers. Better than Brian Thomas?
Heath
Better.
Jamie
Better than Garrett Wilson this week. Better than. And this is mostly ppr. I don't think he's gonna score a touchdown, but that would be nice. It's. You're hoping for the seven for 70, you know, type of game that he's been giving us.
Dave
Yeah, he absolutely destroyed Derek Stingley on a, on a deep route and had a 56 yard catch. I think he's really good. Problem for Flowers. One red zone target, one green zone target, one end zone target.
Heath
I don't, I'm not projecting any any red zone targets for the Ravens, but the nice thing is a Flowers is one of those guys that can score from a lot further away than the red zone.
Dave
That's true. This doesn't none seem to happen. I'm seeing if we have any Derrick Henry questions. I got one so far. Henry or Stevenson?
Jamie
Henry. I initially had it ranked Stevenson ahead of Henry, but Henry over Stevenson.
Dave
Okay. I think that's just where we should, we should focus real quick.
Jamie
And I will say one thing about this because I think if I remember the Sportsline story correctly, it's more about game flow and they like Daniel Jones better than Stafford. I don't know how game flow would necessarily be different there.
Dave
I don't know if they'd like him better if, if Kyler Murray were out.
Jamie
Henry Murray plays like the Colts are blowing teams out at home.
Dave
Yeah, the Colts have been great. They lead the NFL in point differential.
Heath
The nice thing about blowing people out is if you do that, you have to score a lot of points.
Jamie
Not if your defense does it though.
Dave
Henry or Dobbins? We definitely like Dobbins there. Henry or Travion Henderson?
Heath
Henry.
Jamie
Still Henry.
Dave
Flowers or Olave Flowers?
Jamie
Spider man meme. I'll take Flowers.
Dave
Henry or Pacheco?
Jamie
Henry.
Dave
Manry Flowers or Quentin Johnston?
Jamie
Johnston.
Heath
I think I have flowers. One spot higher.
Dave
If Kyler doesn't play rush or Brissette. Okay, he's pleading the fifth. Cleveland's at Pittsburgh. Stat of the game. Jalen Warren is facing a defense that is both good against the run and good against pass catching running backs. I never know what to make of a team being good against past catching running backs, but Cleveland has been really, really good against. What is it? I mean, Chase Brown, two catches, eight yards with Burrow. Justice Hill three for 18. Josh Jacobs had a big five catches, 44 yards. Jameer Gibbs two for six. Jordan Mason three catches for four yards. So it's tough, you know, Jalen Warren, you know, where, where are you guys at on him compared to Henry and Carter and blah blah blah behind them.
Jamie
It's just I want to be hopeful for Warren. He was very good before the injury, but now you have tough matchup and another guy that was really good while he was out. So what's the split that we're looking at and what happens in this Tough matchup. So it's just one of those situations where if you can afford to sit Jalen Warren, you should. But very difficult to sit a player of what his caliber was, at least prior to the injury.
Dave
Yeah, he had scored, I want to say, 14 or more fantasy points in every game. PPR. A lot of that was catches. And Aaron Rodgers throws to his running backs all the time. It's just a big part of what he does. So is anyone in this game that is a slam dunk other than Judkins? Judkins has to be. But is there anyone else that's a slam dunk?
Jamie
I mean, I, I, I still think Metcalf's the number two receiver, but I understand the trepidation, so I wouldn't say it's a slam dunk. You know what, Ninjoku? I'm gonna buy back in after what I saw last week.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Dave
Okay. Which quarterback do you like better?
Heath
Rogers.
Dave
Okay. Is it, what is the state of the Pittsburgh defense? You know, they're getting Highsmith back.
Jamie
Pennsylvania.
Heath
Yeah, I think, I think they might.
Dave
Be good because they were healthy in Week 1 against the jets and they stunk. So, you know, they've been so injured.
Heath
Justin Fields does present a few different difficulties that Dylan Gabriel.
Dave
Justin Fields had one of the highest passer ratings of his career. No, I understand. Like in this. I just, I'm just saying, is this a tough matchup? I don't, I don't know. I don't think we can say that. I know they've been super banged up.
Jamie
I think it's a tough matchup based on the way we saw them against Minnesota. Like, that looked like the Steelers defense.
Heath
And this will be interesting because the Steelers chose to take thereby coming back from the, the Europe game. The Browns didn't. So it's a team at home coming off the buy against a team that's coming back from London.
Jamie
And is this, if I'm not mistaken, is it three straight road games for the Browns?
Dave
Not sure.
Heath
I think they were home last week.
Jamie
You know what I mean?
Dave
Yeah. Then in that case, I think you're right. Alex Highsmith, very important player for the Steelers. He was limited. We, Joey Porter is going to play. He was practicing full. And Jalen Ramsey did not practice.
Jamie
So you also have. Well, I mean, if there's one game where he can miss, it's this one for Ramsey. I think in the case of also the start of the season, remember, Cam Hayward wasn't practicing very much because of his contract situation.
Dave
Yeah.
Heath
So can I rewind for a second because this game sucks.
Dave
Yep.
Heath
Okay, thanks. Somebody in the chat said something about the weather in Baltimore and I don't look at the weather on Thursdays but I did go check Kevin Roth and he shows this one as a yellow orange that could turn into an orange on Sunday morning if the forecast validates.
Dave
That's Baltimore.
Heath
At Baltimore, the Rams. That the forecast on Wednesday called for a lot of wind and a lot of rain. If that's the case, Stafford will certainly be lower.
Dave
Okay, good to know. As far as this game goes. Give me. Would you start a Browns wide receiver? Any interest?
Heath
No, no.
Dave
I got a question in the chat. Fannin Tongas or Barner?
Heath
Assuming the wide receivers don't come back, it sounds like Piercel is not going to and they're holding out hope for. For Jennings.
Dave
Right. Which DST do you prefer?
Jamie
Steelers.
Heath
They're both starts but yeah, I think I had the Steelers higher.
Dave
I'm gonna let you guys decide.
Heath
I might have the Browns higher.
Dave
Do we save Titans Raiders for tomorrow?
Jamie
No, it's just an easy game.
Dave
Knock it out. All right, let's see.
Heath
I have a Steelers higher.
Dave
Calvin Ridley. Here's a Calvin Ridley Stat. Eight wide receivers have scored 11.4 or more PPR fantasy points against the Raiders. That's good. Seven wide receivers have scored 14.6 or more PPR fantasy points against the Raiders and actually I think only six. Six. And none of those six had more than eight targets. So this is a great matchup for Calvin Ridley, who's excited.
Jamie
I think he's a good number three receiver. You know, finally got on the same page with Cam Ward last week. I think we. We've mentioned this a couple times now. Like the schedule to start the season for the Titans was pretty brutal and rookie quarterback stepping into that struggling. So hopefully this is the point last week was that, you know, Ridley starting to look like what we thought he could be and now great matchup. So I wouldn't necessarily say must start wide receiver, but a good number three receiver for this week and maybe the best receiver in this game. I mean, you know, Myers has just not been getting the job done. I still would start Myers over him, but it wouldn't shock me if Ridley's better.
Heath
What was your stat on the wide receivers against the Rams?
Dave
Let's see. Wide receivers against the Rams. Five wide receivers have scored 15.6 or more PPR fantasy points in the last four games against the Rams.
Heath
Calvin Ridley played them in the last four games and he had 5.7 fantasy points. He Also played a team that's given up more fantasy points to wide receivers than the Raiders, the Colts, and he had 3.7 fantasy points. He's the definition of a boom bust wide receiver three and he's a low end win for me.
Dave
But yeah, it's like here's a question in the chat. Ridley or Sutton? Oh, sudden Ridley or Garrett Wilson?
Heath
Wilson.
Dave
I mean I watched the targets. I didn't watch all the routes, but I watched the targets for, for Calvin Ridley and there were two or three where he absolutely destroyed the defender, turned him around, had a great route, got open and then he a couple of dimes from. From Cam Ward. He had some drops earlier in the year. It's like the way I'm feeling right now is I don't have this decision, but if I had Calvin Ridley versus Tony Pollard, my gut is telling me Ridley over Pollard, but my brain is telling me that's too risky. Ridley's had such a horrible season up for up until one game. But I am worried about Pollard for what I said earlier. If they have a bigger split, you know, he fumbled last week. I don't know, that's not really part of it. But if they have a bigger split, this is a good defense, you know, so I. We're obviously we're starting Genti Michael Mayer. We'll come back to power in a second. But just to knock out the Raiders starting Genti Michael Mayer starter, sit.
Jamie
I think he's a good flyer in a tight end premium league if you're stuck. But this is such a good week for tight ends. The one thing would be is now they can run their offense. Maybe what they didn't have an opportunity to do last week because of who.
Dave
Was playing tight end for them and Jacoby Myers. I mean the Titans stink against everyone. I think they just have a bad defense. They're bad against wide receivers too. But Myers is really struggling.
Jamie
Well that, I mean the defense, good or bad gets the great equalizer, which is Dino Smith. So which Dino will show up?
Dave
Myers or Kendrick Bourne? Question from the chat.
Jamie
Born for me if everybody's out, Myers.
Dave
For me, okay, he's born or Ridley.
Heath
That will be determined by who plays. If. If Jennings is back, then it'll be Ridley. If Jennings is out there, be born.
Dave
Myers or Brian Thomas Jr. Myers.
Heath
Myers.
Dave
Trey Tucker, Travion Henderson, Keon Coleman.
Jamie
I take a chance on Tucker. Just I'd go Tucker. I mean six targets or more in three of his last four games and no Bowers.
Dave
So yeah, Tucker or Wandale tonight.
Jamie
Tucker. Tucker has more upside. Wandale's probably safer.
Dave
This is all assuming Bowers is out. I think would change if Bowers played and okay, so then let's finish with with where you're at on Tony Pollard and we'll end the show there.
Jamie
Low end number two running back. I would start him ahead of Henry and Camaro, for example, like the fact that he scored in two of his last three games. Like the fact that he has three catches in each of his last three games. And so yes, there is the potential for more of a split. There also is a potential for them finally playing with a lead just based on how the Raiders have performed. So I still think we're looking at north of 15 total touches for Pollard, so hopefully finds the end zone again.
Heath
I've looked for exactly 15 touches and he's RB26. He's behind Henry, he's ahead of Camara, he's ahead of Carter, he's ahead of Ramondre. But I really would like it if I didn't have to start him.
Dave
Yeah. All right. I think it's going to be maybe a little bit of a tough week at running back, but let's see how the running backs start the week. Hoping for a big game for Saquon Barkley and Cam Scatterboo and we will recap that tomorrow and give you starter sit for the NFC home games. Have a great day, everybody. See you.
