T. Do you wish if you had a choice to go to the Yankees game or the Giants game?

I joked to my friend who I went to the Yankees game with, we should have gone to the Giants game. But if they, if I had gone to the Giants game, they definitely would have lost. I've. I haven't seen the Giants win a game in person since the 90s in Miami, but really, yeah, I've been, I haven't been to that many Giants games because, you know, I can't go to football games really. But I think I've been to four or five in New York and they've lost all of them.

[Jamie]

This email. Thank you, Mike T. In Colorado, he says, here come the Giants, Keith. And he said, I'm a big, I'm as big a fan of Heath as anyone with his witty humor and clever trolling, but he's got to eat some crow after tonight. He said the giants would lose 31 nothing. He should have to wear Giants gear for a week. All right, I agree. Let's propose it to him. But guys, give me your thoughts on Giants 34, Eagles 27. Jamie fantasy takeaways.

[Jamie]

Jackson Dart is going to be fun for hopefully several years to come. And this was with a receiving core that obviously is very barren right now. So he's got to stay healthy. The hits are a little bit too much, but I mean, the rushing is fantastic. I love the stat. I'm sure you guys saw it. You know, third quarterback in his first three starts to run for 50 or more yards to start his career. I mean, it's pretty awesome. And the other two guys, one was on the field with him and the other one's Lamar Jackson. So pretty good company from a fantasy perspective. Cam Scatter. Boo. Love what he's doing now. I think you got to trade him in Dynasty if you can, just because, like, there's injuries to come with the way that he runs. It's just scary. So maximize the value if you can. But he's, he's clearly the guy, you know, we don't have to worry about Tyrone Tracy and Wanda Robinson is going to be good for the, the short term if Darius Slayton is out. But I think for the Eagles, look that you got, you got for the most part good numbers from Hertz fantasy wise. And, you know, A.J. brown's a touchdown away from being, you know, having a big night. And Dallas guard, I mean, look, when he's healthy right now, he's a mustard titan. We have a Barkley problem, you know, and, and it was. I, I didn't know how it was going to be an issue during the season. You know, I know Dave and I kind of shared the same sentiment about him being a, a quote unquote bust. We still were drafting him, you know, in the first round. But I just go back to the stat I kept referencing time and time again, and it was the what the, the the drop off is from the 2000 yard season. And so it wasn't health so much as these guys just struggled the following year. All the work, all the, all the, all the stuff that happens that goes into, especially from a Super bowl run. And so you have an offensive line that's struggling and injured. You have a guy that's just not performing to the same level. And I don't think it's all on him. So it's not necessarily just a Saquon Barkley problem personally, but there's, there's, there's issues right now that I, I think you're still starting Barkley, but we're not going to get the, the Barkley production that we were hoping for. I, I thought he was gonna have a monster game last night. He got off to great start, looked like it was going to run through the, the Giants defense and then just couldn't do anything and they went away from too much.

[Heath]

Only thing I can follow up with is, and maybe we didn't talk about this, we didn't talk about this at all when we made the, the case against Saquon Barkley. But not only is it a problem for the running back to repeat, but the offensive line too, like those guys have to have their act together and play as well as they did cohesively for 17 games the year after that. And the thing that I noticed yesterday, Jordan May a lot of gave up a lot of pressure on those runs. I don't know who number 56 is on, on the Eagles. I didn't look it up. I just wrote the name down when I was watching the film this morning. He gave up a couple of, of plays. The offensive line needs to be good too. And I think that we kind of took that for granted with the Eagles. They were down two starters in the game to begin with and now you just have to wonder when is this offensive line, is this offensive line going ever get to the point where they were last year? And it's not to say that Saquon is perfect because I thought there were a couple of times when even when he had space, that explosiveness that we saw last year just wasn't quite there. But I agree, I think there's a Saquon problem. The problem is now everybody's seen it. So if you've got Saquon and you panic, trade them. You're not going to get nearly as much as you think for them.

[Jamie]

Yeah. If you recall, Dave, on, on the, the CBS Sports Network show yesterday, we had that question. Saquon Barkley for Jamar Chase.

[Heath]

Yes.

[Jamie]

You know, there was that trade question. I, I think the, if you're, if you're looking at it like you could probably trade struggling receiver for struggling running back, you know, for teams that have a surplus of both ends, somebody looking to buy low on what still could be a good stretch run for Barkley, I mean, he's still going to be a, I'm going to say optimistically, I don't know if this is optimistically, just maybe obvious. Captain Obvious, but still a top 10 running back for the most. I don't think he's going to fall off that far.

[Dave]

Yeah.

[Jamie]

Am I wrong?

[Heath]

I don't think so.

[Dave]

Can I throw something out here?

[Heath]

But I think anybody that tries to trade for Saquon is going to try and get him for lower than that.

[Dave]

Would you trade Scatter Boo for for sake one straight up?

[Heath]

Hell no.

[Dave]

You'd rather have Scatter Boo?

[Heath]

No, I'd rather have Saquon.

[Dave]

Okay, don't, don't, don't mock that though, because I bet a lot of people today would rather have scattered with Saquon.

[Heath]

Well, because it's recency bias and everybody is living in the moment.

[Jamie]

But that, to that point though, to that point though, that's the type of trade you're making. If you're trying to get Barkley, you're trying to turn whoever is the flavor of the month, flavor of the week, hottest player right now into, you know, hopefully something that could be somewhat good. And so I, you know, gamer Eric says he's rather have scatterble right now. What would you have said a week ago after he struggled against the Saints?

[Heath]

Right.

[Dave]

Well, he's didn't. Yeah, he's had a ton of touches in that game though. Here he's getting so much work and Barkley. All right, so let me throw this out at you, right? Barclays had 18 carries in his last two games and they're 02. First four games he had 18 or more carries in every game and they went 4 0. What happened last year when they got off to a 2 and 2 start? I believe they go into their buy and they say we're done. We're just going to run the ball. We're going to be the most run heavy team in football. Literally the lowest pass rate in the NFL from that point on and they didn't lose a single game that Jalen Hurts started and they won the Super Bowl. They get off to a 4 and O start. Their wide receivers are complaining, you know, I would say somewhat selfishly and they get away from their identity. They run for 31 yards on the first two plays of the game with Saquon Barkley and then all of a sudden they get super pass heavy. That's great for fantasy, but it didn't exactly work out for the Eagles against, by the way, one of the worst run defenses in football. I'm not surprised if they get back to their identity now.

[Jamie]

Yeah, exactly.

[Heath]

I was about to say they're going to do exactly that, but it's against Minnesota next week and without Dickerson, probably big deal.

[Dave]

So I think that's a big deal.

[Heath]

And by the way, when I said they're down two starters, they're down two starters from their offensive line. Last year, Steen began the year as the starting right guard. Oh, yeah, that's who number 56 was also, and you mentioned it in the second half, Saquon had four carries and as soon as they were down by more than one score in the second half, they basically went into full pass mode. It was an 83 pass rate. Not who they are. You're right.

[Dave]

No, it's not.

[Heath]

And I bet they overreact. And next week you see a ton of carries for Saquon.

[Dave]

A couple things. So they, they did get. I mentioned going into the game they were one of the slowest teams in football. They had the second lowest time remaining on the play clock to snap the ball. They changed that this week. And it wasn't just during the comeback effort. They averaged over 10. They went in the game averaging 7 seconds left on the play clock. When they snapped it, it was over 10 seconds even in the first quarter in this game. So I do think they wanted to play with more tempo, which is good. I don't, I'm not satisfied though with the Jalen hurts performance. I mean, he's, he's popped once, you know, so. But again, like two weeks in a row he's missed on a deep ball. Last week I think it was on A.J. brown for stopping. This week he should have had about a 95 yard touchdown to Devonte Smith. So they just got a hit on these plays, but the explosive plays are way down. A.J. brown explosive play rate last year was 29%. This year it's 11%. That's what's missing there.

[Heath]

But do you know who he's connected with the most on throws of 20 plus air yards this year?

[Jamie]

Dallas. Got it.

[Heath]

That's the one.

[Dave]

Oh, Goddard.

[Heath]

No, it's Goddard.

[Dave]

I don't know. You call them. Sorry, Jamie. You call them a must Start, but I would just say that he's got back to back games with nine or more targets. And I went through his game log. Dallas Goddard, we can finish with this. We got to move on. I went through his game log. Like you do see two games in a row here and there with eight, nine targets, something like that. You pretty much never see three in a row. So, you know.

[Jamie]

Okay, but, but we're, we're. We're still talking about a player that's been productive, either touchdown related or heavily involved. And I, I also think part of this. Look, their, their. Their defense is not as good and.

[Heath]

So tell me about it.

[Jamie]

They're. They're gonna potentially be in some situations where they have to throw well.

[Dave]

Their defense would be a lot better. They had Jalen Carter out and Quinion Mitchell.

[Jamie]

That's very true. We're missing two. Two key guys last night, but they're not offense. We've seen it twice. Secondary is not as good. I think the one thing just to keep in mind with, with Goddard. Sorry to get off the tangent. The, the thing with Goddard is that I know it's. It feels like this position is great. Right. We got the Theo Johnson here and we got a Jake Tongas there and you know, Kittle's coming back and you know, you could sort of spin it however you want to. Like the guy's been productive.

[Dave]

Yeah, he's been productive.

[Jamie]

I'm thrilled right now.

[Heath]

He's the one that hurts. Is connecting with the best. Like they've got the best chemistry right now because he's not complaining in the Eagles passing game.

[Jamie]

Yeah. All right.

And by the way, just how big of a deal is Jalen Carter? Eagles are giving up 5 yards per carry without him. 3.8 yards per carry with them.

[Dave]

Yeah, it's a huge deal. All right. So the Giants get their, their big win and I think I said the score wrong. I said 34. 27. It was 34. Sorry about that. So hopefully it was quite honestly potentially a franchise changing game for them. But we'll see. They got to go back it up next week against the Denver Broncos. That'll be easy. Sunday morning Vikings.

Remember he got dinged that he re injured or aggravated his injury in the game last week on Thursday night. So he's not fully healthy. They expect him to play, it seems at this point. But you just want to keep that in mind if you're planning to start him at Tampa Bay. It could be a great game, but he is going to play injured. Mac Jones, Joe Flacco is going to start. We know. And Kyler Murray, he missed practice again. We got to take this seriously. If he's out, would you consider sitting Trey McBride? And what about. Oh, and what about Marvin Harrison?

Over the track record of Brissette's career. Tight ends have gotten a ton of targets from him.

[Jamie]

I would be encouraged by McBride. I would be encouraged to start McBride.

Harrison, would he be in your top 24 if Brissette were starting?

I don't know if it's a bad thing, to be honest with you.

Oh, that's interesting. Just because you think that Brissette can be. Can make just quicker decisions. Maybe. Yep.

Maybe just target him more. Running back Chuba Hubbard missed practice. So where you think it'll be? Rico Dowdle. Kyle Menangai missed practice. Chris Rodriguez missed practice. He had almost no role last week, but it was, you know, for, for Menangai and Rodriguez was their first practice of the week. So they have Monday night games. Alvin Camara was limited. We expect him. Jalen Warren, we expect Tyler Bidet practice in full. Miles Sanders missed practice. All right. Chris Godwin's missed two in a row. Really didn't look good in week five. He's got this leg injury now. So even if he plays, I don't think we're going to recommend starting him. But he may not play and that would, I guess, open up some sleepers. We can talk about that when we get to that game. Shortly, Terry McLaurin was at practice, but he did not actually practice. And Debo. I'm sorry, it says, I think Debo did miss practice. Right? Yeah, but he should be fine. CD Lamb and Kevante Turpin missed practice again. Ricky Piersoll not expected to play, although he hasn't ruled himself out. Juwan's Jennings was limited in practice, so Jennings got a limited session in. Jalen Coker practiced in full. You know what happened the last time Jalen Coker played Dallas? He had an 83 yard touchdown. Huge play. Cameron. Oh, I mentioned that yesterday. Forget that. Darnell Mooney missed practice. He didn't practice first. Practice of the week for the Falcons. They get Buffalo on Monday. Christian Watson could play this week. I don't think we're expecting that just yet. Colson Loveland was limited so he got in the practice session. That was, that was good. And on defense, maybe won't have Jalen Ramsey for Pittsburgh, but they should be getting Joey Porter back. Plus the edge rusher Alonzo Highsmith. As Alex Highsmith has been, I think limited this week, looks like Matt Milano may not play this week for Buffalo. Kyle Hamilton's been limited. AJ Terrell was limited coming out of their buy, so that's a good sign for the Falcons. They've been pretty good against wide receivers when he's played. Green bay kicker Brandon McManus has a quad injury. And Cleveland the Cleveland Browns are the second team in NFL history to play a London game and then the next week play a team that's coming off a buy. So they're going to be playing the Steelers coming off a buy. Last week Cleveland was in London. No, I, I don't think at this point he should be considered a must start. I mean, if you're starting him, that's certainly fine. I'm going to see right now what his start percentage is. Just out of curiosity, his start percentage on Thursday. So lineups for the most part have been set as 44. I think that's kind of accurate, you know. So when, when I think must start, I think top 20ish caliber player. And I don't think he's a top as position. I don't think he belongs in that category.

[Heath]

And when I'm just a little bit behind that, I think I'm 24th in my rankings. So low end, number two receiver for sure.

[Jamie]

I know from just earlier this week when we discussed it, I forget what show Heath and Sportsline. I'm not as low as this. I'm closer. I'm in between Dave and this. Heath and Sportsline happened as the 46th receiver for the week.

[Dave]

Oh, this is T. Higgins we're talking about here. Okay, let's go to San Francisco at Tampa Bay. Would you start?

[Jamie]

I think if you're, if you're starting T. Higgins, you're hoping for one big play.

[Dave]

Yes.

And his target volume is not going to be there so far.

So far, the. Well, yeah, I mean, that's the thing. Like, Flacco throws 40 times almost every single time he plays a game.

[Jamie]

And how many times is Brownie throwing?

[Dave]

That's a good question.

It's a slight upgrade at quarterback.

It's a slight upgrade. Better ball placement from Flacco. And I think Flacco is a little less pressure sensitive than Jake Browning was. So I think it's, I think it's a small win for both receivers. I think they'll be trailing in the game or at least be competitive in the game. I don't think the Bengals are going to play with a lead. They're not going to have a game like the Browns had, like Flacco had against Green Bay the first time he played them. I, I'm thinking Flacco gives both of those receivers a chance to put up some good numbers.

[Dave]

Okay, first of all, we won't talk about T. Higgins when we talk about this game because we're going, you know, pretty deep here. But the packers have allowed the fewest pass, fewest completions of 20 or more air yards. So fewest deep ball completions. Now they've had a buy, but still they've been very good at eliminating the deep ball. Even if you think about they gave up three at Dallas. One of them was a great catch by George Pickens. One of them was that prayer to Jalen Tolbert and two of them came in overtime. They're probably a little gassed, so they've been very good at eliminating the deep ball. But I'm glad you asked that question, Jasle. What's that?

[Jamie]

They had gas.

[Dave]

Yeah, they're very gassy. Jason Browning in the last three games that he started, Browning through 27, 25 and 40 passes and the only decent game was the one for Higgins was the one that he threw 40. But 27 and 25 passes in two games at Minnesota and at Denver, very low for a Bengals offense for sure. All right, let's see. One question for each game going to San Francisco at Tampa bay start any 49ers other than Christian McCaffrey?

[Heath]

Yes.

Jake Tongas and Kendrick Bourne.

How do you feel about born with if Juwan Jennings is back, it would.

[Jamie]

Certainly change the opportunities that he has, so I would not be as excited about him. But then I would be excited about Joanne Jennings playing.

So it's true. Would they both be number three receivers or would you pick one to be a wide receiver?

[Jamie]

They would both be number three receivers just because I think there, there'd be some splitting of what Bourne's targets were last week and, you know, spreading the ball around a little bit. I'd be less excited about Tongas too.

[Heath]

Yeah, that's a. It's a pretty big deal if Juwan Jennings is able to play as it relates to the other players on the team. Chicago at Washington, Deandre Swift or Jacori Crosky.

[Jamie]

Merritt, Bill.

It's kind of an easy one, right? The matchups are so different. Swift has a very tough run defense. Crosby Merritt, you know he's facing a tough run defense. Crosby Merritt facing one of the worst run defenses and he leads the NFL in yards per carry. Leads all running backs anyway.

[Heath]

Been awesome and Bears won't have Grady.

[Dave]

Jarrett again and Dallas is at Carolina starter sit Bryce Young. Every quarterback that has faced the Cowboys has finished top 12. Three of five have finished top four for the week. Starters at Bryce Young, desperation start.

[Jamie]

I have one league where Kyler was my starter. I'm pivoting to Bryce Young this week. Whether Kyler plays or not. It's, you know, it's a hope at this point. You know he had a good matchup last week and only got you 15 fantasy points. So.

[Heath]

I do think that there's the potential based on how the Cowboys offense has looked that we get a high scoring game here and that Bryce Young has.

[Dave]

To throw okay, how about New England at New Orleans? Start any Saints.

[Heath]

Olave and ppr. So I think that's similar to the.

Similar to the T. Higgins comment. He's not a must start player.

Yeah. So would you rather start Olave or the number one receiver for the 49ers?

I would start Born if there's no Jennings and I would start Olave if Jennings place.

Okay. Buffalo at Atlanta. These two teams are one and two against tight ends. So are you concerned about either Dalton Kincaid or Kyle Pitts in this game?

[Heath]

I'd be concerned about Kincaid because he showed up to practice on Thursday wearing a non contact jersey. So I'd like to know a little bit more about what's going on with him and could that limit him in the game? And we, Jamie especially has talked about this all week. Kyle Pitts. If there's no Darnell Mooney, he's a go. If there is Darnell Mooney, you could still start pits, but you'd have to lower expectations.

[Dave]

Yeah, I mean what Kincaid is doing is really interesting. He has a very high adot and yet he has about an 83, 84 catch rate. So he's catching a ton of passes. You know, I'm just going to go ahead and give you the static stat of the game for that game because I think it's so cool. So what would you say if your tight end got you 7.7 ppr fantasy points just as a floor every week? At least 7.7.

[Jamie]

The Kyle Pitts Mendoza line.

[Dave]

Yeah. It's not bad. Right. Like you, you settle for that. Yeah.

[Heath]

I mean, you kind of want a little bit higher than that as a floor.

[Jamie]

I think if you, if you walked into the week saying that's what I'm definitely getting right. With the chance for more, I'd be okay with it. If I don't have a stud.

[Dave]

Yeah, it's not so bad. Right. So Pitts has scored.

[Jamie]

That's got to be better. I'm just, I'm just throwing the name out there and I don't know this to be factual, but it's probably better than Laporta.

[Dave]

That's exactly what I was going to say. Yeah, it's. I think it is. But pits. 7.7 or more fantasy points in every game. Kincaid, if Kincaid had not scored a single touchdown all season, he would have scored 7.7 or more fantasy points in four of five games. I just thought that was. He hasn't been that touchdown dependent because he catches four to five passes in four or five games. But the cat, he said the one.

[Jamie]

Game with the only cast being a touchdown.

[Heath]

Laporte is averaging almost 11 PPR points per game, but he's coming off of a game where he had over 20.

[Dave]

Yeah. All right. Well, anyway, something to keep in mind here. It's hard to get Kincaid out of your lineup. Pitts has been good, but Buffalo has been so good against tight ends. Atlanta hasn't really been tested, but Buffalo is a legit, super tough matchup.

[Jamie]

I think in the, in the case of Pitts, there are two things potentially working in his favor. One is Mooney not practicing coming off a buy. And two, you alluded to this. If Milano is out too, you know, so if Milano does not play, I.

[Dave]

Don'T, I don't think that. Honestly.

[Jamie]

Well, I think both things matter.

[Dave]

Oh, the Mooney thing for sure. Because I was watching matters. I was watching how they covered Hunter Henry and I mean I, I could count on one hand, I think the amount of times I saw Milano on Henry, I could be wrong about that. But he was usually like safeties or just zone defense. So I don't think that matters. He used to be incredible at covering tight ends, but I don't, I really don't know that's the case anymore. But the Mooney thing for sure anyway. Yeah, like do you have pits in your top 10 this week?

[Jamie]

I do not. And he'll move up probably to like 11 at best if Mooney does not. But right now he's 13.

[Dave]

If you're a little desperate at running back, I would say so. He's. He's not a top 24 guy for me, but someone who you might be able to squeeze double digit PPR points out of. Sure.

[Jamie]

I think in the case of PPR leagues, he's going to benefit with Flacco because I think Flacco will do something similar to what Jake Brownie did last week. We're just get. Get him the ball quite a bit. We saw Flacco do that with the Browns at the start of the season, so that's the hope. The negative is this. This team still can't run the ball very well. I don't think they'll run the ball very well against Packers. Packers run defense is awesome. Their defense as a whole should be able to make things tough on the Packers. So Brown's workload is still going to be a plus for him and again, hopefully he's working the passing game. But are we getting anything more than maybe 11 PPR points? Right.

[Dave]

Because the other thing about the packers, not only are they great against the run, they are great against running back receptions. In terms of yards per catch, Jameer Gibbs had 10 catches against them, but for 31 yards. Javante Williams had three catches for 15 yards. Jerome Ford, four catches for 10 yards. That was with Flacco. So you might get some catches. Probably, you know, you may not get any yard much. Many yards. Michael Carter. Chase Brown.

[Jamie]

Chase Brown or T. Higgins.

Last time we saw him, I know it was an overtime game and score mattered there. So he had a good fantasy game, but he's been good in two of four games so far this season. From a fantasy perspective, I think it's just you take advantage of the Bengals.

[Heath]

Matchup and Starting this week, 25 or more fantasy points to three of the fast past four quarterbacks that the Bengals have faced.

[Dave]

Yeah, so. And I'm very encouraged that Love has had such a good year. I think he's fourth in yards per attempt despite the offensive line not really doing that well. And hopefully they're getting healthier this week. But while you both have Jordan Love as a start, let's get a little bit further into this because, Dave, you have him fifth and Jamie has him 10th and Heath has him fifth. So, Dave, you've got him over Jalen. Hurts and just one spot ahead of Stafford, ahead of Herbert, ahead of Drake, May ahead of Jaden Daniels, and that would be the difference there. Jamie has him behind Daniels, Hertz and May. Oh, sorry, I meant May and Stafford. So, yeah, very bullish on Jordan Love this week, Cincinnati. Yeah, well said.

The magic number for most tight ends to be, you know, really impactful is about a 23 target per out run rate. But we're gonna start him because the Bengals, first of all, he's very good, and the Bengals are horrible against tight ends.

[Jamie]

He's my second favorite past catcher in.

[Dave]

This game behind Chase. Okay. You think he'll score more fantasy points than Romeo Dobbs and T. Higgins?

[Jamie]

Yes. I mean, yeah, I think I said about Laporta last week, like, this is the get right game for anybody.

[Dave]

Okay. Packers defense coming off a terrible game at Dallas, but this will be, we think, a get right game. They are number one for all three of our analysts. At least they were yesterday. Start the packers dst, we move on to San Francisco at Tampa Bay, we could Talk about this maybe from more of a long term view, but here's your stat of the game. Christian McCaffrey has gone nine straight games without a 20 yard run. Should we be concerned about him in and how the receptions are really the thing making him super elite?

[Jamie]

I mean I guess you could have some concerns just because you know the lack of rushing production is not something you want to see in have him being. Look, he's clearly one of the best pass catching running backs maybe in NFL history and of our generation. And still today the, the concern I, I think it's kind of like a, a positive and negative. I think when Kittle comes back that changes their run blocking in such a dramatic way. He's such a force at that position for what they do. So that I think will help run the ball, help him run the ball a little bit more, the team run the ball a little bit more. But also he's probably gonna lose some receptions so we'll see what happens there. But look, you, you are thrilled with what McCaffrey is giving you right now in PPR. It's non PPR that you're like to see a little bit more. But you know the fact that he doesn't have 20 yard runs doesn't really bother me.

[Dave]

Christian McCaffrey is the single season record holder for receptions by a running back with 116. He is on pace for 133 catches this year. All right to this game though and the starts in the sits we're going to start McCaffrey. I think we've really spoken enough about the wide receivers but we can just kind of go through where you have them ranked in a moment. But how do you feel about Mac Jones? He has coming off he has scored 26 or more fantasy points in six point per passing touchdown leagues in two of three games. He is I think number, he's number one or number three in yards per game. Purdy is the other. One of them is number one. One of them is number three. They throw so much. So what's to prevent him? Dave, like why, why isn't Mac Jones higher? The guy's throwing 40 times a game teams throw against Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay is 26 against quarterbacks.

[Jamie]

Come on.

[Heath]

He's already pretty high. I've got him 14th. I think he's a borderline starter. A little worried about his health and whether or not he'll be able to finish the game. He practically needed help getting off the field last Thursday so hopefully he does that. Hopefully the offensive line protects him. It is a good matchup for him, and it's. It's even a little bit better if Juwan Jennings plays. That's just another good option for him to connect with. I think he's okay. I don't think he's. He could be amazing, but I would bet against it.

[Dave]

Okay, everyone's got Mac Jones about 14th or 15th in the rankings. And just where, as of right now, you're not ranking Juwan Jennings, right?

[Jamie]

Correct.

[Heath]

Let's see what happens on the practice report on Friday.

And Kendrick Bourne is 29th for Dave, 34th for Heath. And Jamie's the high guy 21st. Talk about that. 21st right now for Kendrick Bourne. And DeMarcus Robinson is, I think, kind of a sleeper because he had seven targets last week. It's obviously only if Jennings doesn't play, but, you know, we'll just call him a sleeper for now. But yeah, Kendrick Bourne's coming off the best game of his career, and you have him in the top 24.

[Jamie]

Jamie, I mean, it's just looking at what this receiving core is right now, the game that he just had in the matchup that he has. So, you know, if we're expecting the typical pass volume for the 49ers quarterback and as you said, first and third in past attempts, it's a great opportunity for a guy that they have history together. You know, they're with. With each other in New England. And that rapport carried over to their first, I believe, first start together without anybody else on the field from a receiver standpoint because the New Orleans game, Pearsall was definitely healthy. I think Jennings was also. It's just a great opportunity, you know. So, yes, DeMarcus Robinson could benefit. Obviously, Tongas and. And McCaffrey are going to get their. Their chances based on what we saw last week. But if we're talking, you know, anywhere close or over 40 pass attempts, Kendrick Bourne's probably getting eight plus targets and eight plus targets against the Bucks based on what we saw last week, should put him in a pretty good spot.

[Dave]

Okay. The Bucks, though, are getting a little healthier. Jamel Dean was a full participant in practice. Safety Christian Izzy in was has been limited this week, so it is something to keep in mind.

[Heath]

McCollum hasn't practiced yet, though, and he's been a good corner for them.

[Dave]

That is true. That is correct. Jake Tongas or Kyle Pitts.

[Jamie]

If Mooney plays, I'll take pits. If Mooney is out.

Well, I shouldn't say that because Bucky Irving wasn't a very effective runner this year so far, but he's just so involved. 18 touches last week, two touchdowns for Rashad White. Is there anything that worries you or is this just a slam dunk?

[Jamie]

I mean, it's not slam dunk. You know, you still got to give the 49ers defense some credit, but three of the last four running backs have been 18 or more PPR points against this team. His role in the passing game is. Is clearly solidified. Four catches last week. Kyron Williams just went for six catches against this defense. The expected score, you know, is one of the highest over unders for the week. So with the way that I think this game will go, you want pieces of these offenses. And Rashad White, the lead running back for Tampa Bay right now. So he's the start of the week, but he's, you know, 15th, so it's a little bit cautious, but solid number two running back.

[Dave]

All right, Dave, let's say Juwan Jennings is out and Chris Godwin is out. Who's a better sleeper, Sterling Shepard or demarcus Robinson?

[Heath]

I'll take Shepherd.

[Dave]

Okay. And don't ask us if we should start a Mecca Buka, because you should. And if Godwin plays, is he going to crack your top 36?

[Jamie]

Yeah, that's. Yeah, that's a tough one, right? I mean, they've both been so good. Who's your favorite tight end in this game?

Ertz by default. But I think I'd rather roster Loveland.

Yeah, interesting trends with Loveland. Dave's been saying pick him up. We did beat the waiver wire yesterday. If you could stash him and want a high upside tight end. So let's see this over. Under here is 50, right? This is a big number. You know, Jamie, kind of break this game down. What do you think about this game from a fantasy standpoint? Chicago at Washington?

[Jamie]

I think both quarterbacks are top 10 worthy. I think both running backs are top 20 worthy. I think Xavier worthy. The receivers you obviously want to start, Debo Samuel and Romo Dun. It's really about the other pieces in this game and who's going to step up. So could this be DJ Moore in a better spot coming off of a buy? You've heard some things out of Chicago, not just Loveland, but Luther Burden about getting the two rookies more involved. So Burden, if you have a chance to stash either one. I'd much rather stash Burden than. Than Loveland, just with the opportunity of what he can become at the receiver spot. So it's really, I think must start quarterbacks, solid running backs and two must start receivers.

[Dave]

I'd love to get some Caleb Williams questions here because Caleb's been, you know, interesting. I think when you look at his resume this year. 26 fantasy points against Minnesota, but kind of mixed results. He had 58 rushing yards and a touchdown rushing in that game. Wasn't great in that game. 21 points at Detroit. Okay. 37 points at Dallas. I think if you take away the Dallas game, Caleb isn't really having that great of a season. And I thought he actually played pretty well against Las Vegas, but just didn't score that many fantasy points. 13.8 fantasy points at Las Vegas. So I'd love to get some Caleb Williams questions. I mean, obviously I can ask some, but you know, Caleb. Caleb or Stafford?

[Heath]

The reason why I'm a little nervous about Caleb Williams, number one, he might be playing without both starting offensive tackles. And we've seen it a bunch this year. That when he's pressured, mistakes come. And I am positive the commanders will try and take advantage of that.

DeAndre. So that's a tough matchup. He hasn't really had a great season so far. He's averaging 3.3 yards per carry, but he does have three to four catches in every game. So would you start DeAndre Swift or say Kendrick Bourne or Juwan Jennings? Let's say Jennings is out. We start Kendrick Bourne or DeAndre Swift?

[Jamie]

I would start Swift.

I hope I'm wrong. I'd love to see him. For everybody who drafted him, I'd love to see him more involved coming off the bye week. And, you know, this was the plan all along. You know, ghetto dunes a going. You know, Burden's been, you know, in and out of the lineup at least the early part of the season with injuries. You know, get him going as well. But, like, clearly people invested in DJ Moore and you like to see them get rewarded to some extent.

[Heath]

If. If there's a post buy bump for Loveland and Burden, I think Moore is the one that pays the biggest price.

I've got him 13th among running backs and that's in full PPR. The Bears have allowed six yards per carry to running backs in their past three games with a league high 15.7% explosive rush rate allowed. They're going to get TJ Edwards back, I think, and that'll help a little bit. But they've struggled to stop the run and they really struggle with fast running backs. And Bill qualifies, man. So hopefully that he gets a little more work than we saw last week, and we see that evolution continue in Washington.

[Dave]

All right, that's it for this game. Sit the dsts. Speaking of sit the dsts, Dallas is at Carolina. All right, I gave you already the meaningless that of the game, which is that the last time Jalen Coker played Dallas, he had an 83 yard touchdown catch. But the hopefully meaningful stat of the game is that Tel McMillan and Bryce Young have been so close to connecting on on some big plays. So McMillan, unfortunately, he has five of their 30 red zone targets. He has one of Carolina's 12 green zone targets. He has two of their 12 end zone targets. It's really bad, but he gets almost all of their deep balls, eight of their 14 deep balls. And here come the Cowboys is what I said about the Giants. Here come the Giants. They give up big plays. Well, they almost. I mean, the Giants tried to, but Hertz missed. Devontae Smith. The Cowboys are even worse than that. The Cowboys give up big plays all the time. Most completions with 20 or more air yards allowed.

[Jamie]

It's that first touchdown. It's coming. Yeah.

Yeah, I think if you're so the. The thing with Flournoy is, is it going to be a Florida week or a Tolbert week? And that's the tough part to figure out. So you would probably lean toward Florida based on what he did a week ago. But that was also just a situation with Pickens not getting his opportunities. So I wouldn't be chasing that per se. But in a 14 team league, 16 team league, you know, if you're stuck with Bye. Weeks or injuries. It's not a bad dart throw, either one. But again, lean toward flora.

[Heath]

I believe Tolbert played more snaps than Flournoy, so it seems a little fluky that Flournoy had the game that he had. That said, if you're desperate, I understand why you would consider him sleeper.

[Jamie]

Again, just match up.

[Dave]

Yeah, the problem is probably not if Coker plays, right?

[Jamie]

Yeah, I wouldn't trust him. I mean, he's been terrible. Who legit.

[Dave]

Oh, sorry. I'm trying to make this pun here and I'm just gonna go ahead and make it. Now, the problem with Ryan is that he has no florinoi.

[Jamie]

Dan wouldn't get it. I think in the case of desperation plays Detavion Sanders. I mean, look, he was, you know, somewhat of a factor before he got hurt. Turnbull then had the big game after he got hurt. But it would only be contingent on Jalen Coker not playing.

Right, and if Coker plays, where are you going to rank him?

[Jamie]

First game back will be probably right around like 40 to 45. Somewhere in that range. Like, I don't want to go too crazy, but it does. I mean, look, again, you're talking about 49 and a half is over under. This is a game that should have an opportunity to get loose. So we know he's been a big part of what Bryce Young's success has been when Bryce Young has been successful. So it's not a bad opportunity to use him as a three receiver in a flex league. Okay, use him in a three receiver in flex league.

[Dave]

All right, you're starting it is Miami that they're playing.

And let's go to New England and New Orleans. Stat of the game, the Saints have allowed 9.2 or more PPR fantasy points to five tight ends in five games. McBride, Luke Farrell, Dalton Kincaid, Daniel Bellinger, and Theo Johnson. Remember, for Hunter Henry, he's got three games with two to four targets, but in two of them, Drake May barely threw. The other one was against Buffalo. So I'm. I'm hopeful for a Hunter Henry bounce back in this game. And what do you guys think about Hunter Henry? I'm assuming he's the best tight end in this game, but do we like him this week?

[Heath]

Top 10 tight end? Because I think the easier path to attack the Saints is through the air and they've struggled covering tight ends. And so if the Patriots recognize that Patriots might struggle to run the ball with efficiency no matter who they play. You've seen it this year. I. I think Henry makes sense as a good short area target.

[Jamie]

I go low end starter. So I'd start Tongas and Taylor over him if you're just looking at, you know, recent waiver wire guys. But in that same range, I'd start him over pits. As of now, just with. Depending on Mooney's situation.

[Heath]

Yeah, with you over pits. I'd start Henry over Taylor and Tongas.

[Dave]

My other stat of the game is about Juwan Johnson, first of all, who played 85 of the snaps last week. Secondly, the Patriots really stink against Tight ends, too. Four tight ends who scored 11.3 or more fantasy points, three of them have scored more than 15 fantasy points in PPR against the Patriots. So look, a lot of tight ends have two bad games In a row, right? Like Sam Laporta had two bad games in a row. Tucker Kraft has had bad games. We're completely giving up on Juwan Johnson. He didn't really lose his role last week. He might lose more of it this week. But are we giving up too soon on Juwan Johnson? How do we feel about him?

[Jamie]

It might be giving up too soon on him. I. I do think the matchup is great. I also think he's not healthy. So last two weeks he's been on the injury report, and I think that's probably part of why he hasn't been as involved. So maybe game plan has changed just based on, you know, certain things that they're able to do in practice or whatnot. You also saw some different things for the Saints, whether it's, you know, Rashid Shahid big play against the Giants run game has actually been a little bit better with Kendrick Miller, what he's been able to accomplish. So I just don't think Joann Johnson's a slam dunk. If you want to start him and he's been your guy. It's just one of those weeks where there's so many good options at tight end and you're seeing him phased out a little bit. It's not just, yes, the playing time has been there. The targets are going away, you know, so if the targets aren't there, I don't care how much he's on the field.

[Heath]

He had eight targets in each of his first three games. Eight or more. And in the last two weeks, it's been four or fewer. He had at least 11 PPR points in each of his first three games. He has 9.5 PPR points combined in his last two games. So either they're getting away from him because he's not 100% or because they're adding tight ends slash Taysom Hill into the offense or both.

[Dave]

Well, but the other thing is, it could just be that's just the way the targets shook out this game. You know, sometimes it happens. The targets can go in ebbs and flows. Obviously doesn't have a huge upside because they hardly ever throw touchdowns. I'm not going to sit here and make a passionate case for Juwan Johnson so we can move on.

[Heath]

To be fair, Rattler's thrown less in the last two games anyway.

[Dave]

Drake, is there any must start in this game? Who are the must starts in this game?

[Heath]

Drake May is a must start.

[Jamie]

The Fon Diggs is a mustard.

[Heath]

Diggs is. I think Hunter Henry is closer to a must start. Than a not start.

[Jamie]

Okay.

[Heath]

I think that's Olave and PPR as like a high end. Flex Minimum Patriots DST.

[Dave]

The Patriots are 19th against wide receivers. They've been pretty good against receivers, especially since Christian Gonzalez came back.

[Heath]

It's the last three weeks and Gonzalez has been back the last two.

[Dave]

Jamie said he may not play. I know he was limited in practice yesterday.

[Heath]

Yeah, it's possible. That would help the case for everybody involved in New Orleans.

[Dave]

That's Christian Gonzalez, cornerback for the Patriots. We're talking about Stefan Diggs or Higgins.

[Jamie]

Digs by a mile.

[Dave]

Stefan Diggs or Dowdle. It's close, but doubt digs or worthy against the Lions.

[Heath]

All right, so you guys are all in. Totally in on digs. The only thing that gives me pause is he played half the snaps last week, you know, so.

[Heath]

It's just a little risky. He had like a 50 target per out run rate, which is, you know, ridiculous. Okay. Saints have a pretty bad pass defense, though. If the Giants didn't turn the ball over on five straight possessions, I think they would have put up a pretty big number against the Saints last week. Camara.

[Heath]

Is he 500?

[Dave]

Is. Is Camara in your top 24?

[Jamie]

No.

[Heath]

At running back?

[Dave]

No. No Dave looking?

[Heath]

[Dave]

Oh, I'm sorry.

Is. Who's your favorite Patriots running back? Would you start either of them?

[Jamie]

I don't mind Ramandre just on the hope that he takes advantage of this matchup because I don't know if you saw Variable had another comment about that. He was asked about the fumbles and giving up on Ramandre, you know, not giving up on Ramandre. And he basically not put the blame on the rest of the team, but said is it his fault that he's getting blasted when he touches the ball? You know, I guess was just trying to really defend him. So it seems like they're still very committed to Ramandre Stevenson. So every running back this season, if I'm not mistaken, at least 4 have gotten to 14.4 PPR points or more against the Saints. Ramade can do that if he scores a touchdown. So he's been over that number twice this season already in four games and two of his last four games, excuse me, he's been over that number. So wouldn't shock me if this is a decent game for Ramandre Stevenson. So a good flex. Okay.

[Dave]

Someone's asking about Stefan Diggs being a sell high. Do you guys think he's a sell high?

[Jamie]

Absolutely.

[Dave]

Agree Why? I mean, I could make the case he's playing half the snaps and he's.

[Jamie]

I mean, you could say he's a buy high if you believe in him. But again, I, I'll go back to what I said on Wednesday. Anytime you get these players that you drafted mid round or later that have kind of been on your bench to start the season, and this is obviously, if you're in a good spot, it's, you know, speaking to maybe a small audience here, but you turn this into something that you believe is going to be great. Right.

[Dave]

But would you trade Stefan Diggs for A.J. brown?

[Heath]

Yeah, I think I would.

[Jamie]

I, I would, but I understand that. The hesitation to. But I, I think in the case of, like, can you turn Stefan Diggs into Rashi Rice? For a guy that doesn't have Rice for another week, you're gonna have to.

[Heath]

Throw in a lot more with Stefan Diggs to do that.

[Dave]

But I don't know that people. I get a lot of questions like, what do we expect from Rishi Rice? I think people just don't know. And quite frankly, I'd like to see it. I mean, he's still coming off a pretty brutal injury. Like, I, I believe in him. I think he's gonna be great.

[Heath]

Rice is coming off of an injury.

[Dave]

Yeah. Well, yeah, so is Dicks.

[Heath]

I mean, that's not the reason why he hasn't been playing.

[Dave]

No, I know that, but I still was curious to see what Rice would do coming off a season ending injury. I'm surprised at what Diggs has done. You know, let's move on. We can talk about that.

[Jamie]

So I think, like, just in the case, I'm just trying to think like trades that would, would make some sense. Like if your team is really good right now and you're loaded at receiver, but you're hurting at running back and you're 5, 0, 4 and 2. 4 and 1. Heading to 5 and 1. Whatever the case, may hike like digs for somebody like Amari Hampton. Makes sense.

[Dave]

Yeah. Yeah, that's a good one. It doesn't seem like Hampton's going to be out that long, but I, I don't know that for sure. Just kind of reading the Twitter docs, but. Don't know.

[Jamie]

But you get the point. Like you're trading for something that could really help you down the stretch.

[Dave]

Yeah.

[Jamie]

Where this may be the only great production from Diggs. I don't believe that, but it could be.

I already mentioned that these two teams allow the fewest fantasy points to tight ends, but Dalton Kincaid's just been so good. Where's Kincaid in your rankings, guys?

[Heath]

Top five.

[Jamie]

Just inside the top ten.

[Dave]

All right, listen, let's. Let's keep it simple here. Start Allen, start Cook. Start Kincaid. Any interest, you know, Khalil Shakir? I should probably give this that Khalil Shakir has scored 11 or more now, let's say 10 or more double digit PPR fantasy points in 18 of 22 healthy games since last year. So that's pretty cool. But between him and Coleman, like, are we interested in these guys this week?

[Heath]

I'm interested in Shakir as a safe number three receiver who won't see a lot of A.J. terrell, who's coming back for the Falcons because he plays in the slot. And if there is limitation on Dalton Kincaid, remember I'm ranking him like Kincaid's. Fine. But if there is some sort of limitation, I think Shakira ends up picking up the slack, attacking the middle of the field against Atlanta. So I'm very comfortable starting Shakir, number three receiver. Like ahead of DJ Moore, ahead of Jameson Williams, ahead of Rashid Shahid, Trey Tucker, those types of receivers.

[Dave]

I'm starting Elik Aisle Manor, I think, in a league. So, you know, I feel like a guy like Mooney is. Is relevant in that discussion. Right. It's.

So, yeah. How do you feel about him compared to. I think I'd start DeMarcus Robinson over him if Juwan Jennings were out. I just like, don't want to start Mooney.

Oh, I, I totally understand that. You know, just given the fact that he's not going to be 100 healthy going against a very good Buffalo defense. You know, there's like, I'd rather roster money than Robinson, but I get your, you know, feeling of do I need to swing for the fences? And Robinson feels a little bit safer at this point in that category.

[Dave]
