As football season winds down, I actually get a little bit more free time. So I started looking into my yearly golf trip destinations. Last year, I did a week in Pinehurst, North Carolina, and while I was gone, my place was just sitting there. So I figured, why not put it on Airbnb? I was already away. The house was empty. Hosting just felt like the practical move. And the extra money offset some of the trip costs, which never hurts when you're traveling for golf. So now as I'm planning this year's trip, hosting on Airbnb is just something I do when I travel. If my home's gonna be empty anyways, it might as well work for me. While I'm gone, your home might be worth more than you think. Find out how much@airbnb.com host this is.

Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports. What a play.
C
Can you believe this?
B
No, I can't.
D
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
B
Off to the races and he stays at his feet. This is gonna go the distance. Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and.
Welcome to Fantasy Football today. And welcome to the playoffs. Your waiver wire show for week fifth. Yeah. Week 15, still playing. This is fantasy football today presented by betmgm. Make it legendary and if you're listening, watching, probably are having a successful season or you just really like the show. Either way, thank you very much and thank you guys for crushing it on the waiver wireless. Thinking about some of my successful teams and the Michael Wilson's of the world and all the waiver wire claims that we made. And you go back and look at your draft, you had a lot of duds, Most likely had some duds. It happens to everyone. Waiver wire has been huge. Good morning, fellas.
C
I was trying to think of the, the waiver wire team of the year. Like I'm starting to get that idea. You know, I do the teams at the end of the year like the best teams and I think.
Yeah, I gotta go back and look and see what Stafford's roster percentage was.
D
Oh, yeah, sure, right.
C
But, but the, the, the ones that stand out. Brissette is certainly in the conversation. Rico Doddle is the running back by far. Michael Wilson is probably the best wide receiver. Even those only three games. But wow, you know, there, there are a lot of fun guys that we picked up off the waiver wire that have been big contributors to a lot of people getting to this point.
D
Fun guy. That's type of mushroom.
Social one type of mushrooms.
B
There we go.
D
I wasn't sure if you were gonna chime in or not, but there you go. Nice work.
B
Well, we won't pat ourselves on the back too much, but congratulations to Dave, Jamie and Heath in the podcast league. You guys absolutely crushed it. Dave and Jamie won their division. Heath is going to be, I think, in fourth place, but he has one of the highest scores. You guys were great. That was not my best league, my best team this year, but you guys represented very well. All right, we'll get our top three waiver wire priorities Reminder, if you're in the FFT Open today, there are only two teams left in each division. So championship round of the divisions, and whoever wins this week moves on to the FFT Open semifinals, and then the top, I believe, eight scores will move on to the FFT Open finals in week 17. But I think I won. You did, did you?
C
I think so.
B
That's great. Way to go. And if you're in the FFT Open, if you're not in the FFT Open division finals, please do not make any AD drops. I think there were about seven AD drops that I had reversed last week, so let's cut that to zero. All right, top three waiver wire priorities. Boy, the tough. The first one's really tough. It's injury related. But Jamie, give me the top three priorities.
C
So for me, it's going to be still Jalen Wright 1. Even though Devon HN looks like he's going to be okay. Luther Burton is going to be two, and then for three, it's a little bit of a. Of a, I think, depending on what you need, because you might need a quarterback this week. We have a couple of tough situations with clearly some injuries, and then you're looking at, you know, some matchups that are tough, Jacobi Brissette being one of them. But I also think when you look at the tight ends, it's not a bad idea to get another starter there. And Isaiah likely taking on the Bengals, he's been very good. Six targets each of the last two weeks, so I'm gonna put likely third. So the reason I still like Jalen Wright at the top is because while there's clearly. It sounds like there's no issues with. With Devon H and playing this week, it's still a Monday night game. And if I'm the Devon Hn manager, I want to make sure I have Jalen Wright roster just in case we get to the weekend and his ribs aren't feeling right or they just want to make sure he's 100, blah, blah, blah. You never know how These go. So I still want Jalen right on my team.
B
But if you're not the HM manager is. Right. Still the number one guy to get.
C
Well, I, I think there's, there's again, you know, we, we don't know how this is all going to play out. You know, pain tolerance is probably the biggest issue here because it sounds like you could have gone back in the game. So would you want to have Jalen Rod on your team if he ends up starting this weekend?
B
I would, I would. Except the thing is if I don't have a Chan or let's say Jalen Warren somebody on this Monday night game. Right. And I pick up.
C
Right.
B
We may not even know by Sunday when we have to set our lineups. I don't think it's a bad idea to get them. Yeah, but it could, it could obviously not work out. So you'll have to make the decision. If you have a buy this week, then you're probably not picking up Jalen Wright. And the late the latest is that Achan is feeling better. Does this Jimmy was saying feeling like he's trending toward playing Dave who your top three.
D
Wright's not in there. But I agree with Jamie that if you've got Devon Hn on your team, you better go get him and make him a priority. I put the 49ers DST as my top AD51 available. If you can't get them the Jaguars against Brady Cook and the jets, looks like it could be that. That's 48 available. Either one of those two DSTs, I would prioritize. Assuming you don't have a stud DST already. Very few fantasy managers do. Then after that it's Devin Singletary and Blake Corum. Not with a lot of confidence. Both of those guys could put up double digit PPR point numbers and that would be great. And I believe that one of them, Singletary, has a good matchup this week, but we know he's going to be sharing with Tyrone Tracy. Blake Corm sharing obviously with Kyron Williams. I gave you four. That's my top three.
C
The best thing about the 49ers is now they get the Titans this week. They get the Colts with whatever quarterback situation is going to be there next week.
D
Might be the greatest quarterback ever.
B
Yeah. We're going to talk about week 16 for those of you who don't need anything for week 15. But you also could make a case, I guess you could make a case that Marcus Mariota would be one of the top priorities. He's got The Giants this week. In theory. I don't even know if it's gonna be him.
D
Do you need a quarterback? And if you do, then Marcus Mariota would be at the top of the list. Yes.
C
If not him, C.J. struck.
D
Yes. That's a good top two.
B
You think about quarterback, right? And there's two that I'll ask you about. There's Jacoby Brissette at Houston and there's Mahomes facing the Chargers. You go look at Mahomes in tough matchups this year and it hasn't been good except week one against the Chargers when he, he ran very successfully.
So if you have Brissette or Mahomes, are you looking at Mariota or Stroud?
C
Brissette, yes. And I know he's been so consistent over 20 fantasy points and eight straight starts since taking over for Kyler Murray. But we've seen this Houston defense dismantle two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL this season in Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. And so it's hard to say that. It's hard to say that as good as Brissette has been that he is going to be the one to solve this, this problem, this Houston problem. And I, I think volume is definitely going to be a big key for him. We talked about this on On Express yesterday, Adam. Like the Texans offense doesn't do enough. At least they haven't so far this season where the defense takes their foot off the gas latent games. And that makes it a problem for Brissette to just go out and say, okay, he's going to get some easy garbage time points. Now he can clearly get you. I, I think he's going to be 18 to 20. I don't think he's going to be a 12, 13, 14 point guy this week. I, I just think he throws the ball too much that he'll find a way, even if it's a multiple interception game, to still be productive, that you're not going to have a Jalen Hurts type game. That being said, I don't want to trust it when I think Mariota has proven also to be a pretty successful fantasy quarterback and has a great matchup and CJ Stroud has a pretty good matchup as well. So it's, it's a tough call. I have, I think I have a lot of shares of Jacoby Brissette. I have one, I think where I don't have him on a buy this week and have to play him and I'm going to consider Mariota if he Starts in place of Jane Danes.
D
I don't think there's anything wrong with adding Mariota or Stroud and then making the decision a little bit later in the week. You don't have to make the decision on Tuesday. You might have to make a decision on how to prioritize your waivers. But at least there's multiple quarterbacks and there's more than just Mariota and Stroud. I mean you can make the case for Shock or Bryce younger, even J.J. mcCarthy and Shadur Sanders, two guys that played better than expected this week. I wouldn't want to, to start them. I am not recommending them in one QB leagues but I, I think if you're, if you've got Brissette and nothing else, at least get another quarterback so you have somebody to go to in the event that you get cold feet on Brissette.
B
Yeah. So.
C
Oh man.
B
McCarthy with a good game and gets Dallas and the Giants in his next two games. It's pretty tempting to pick him up. But anyway.
Sorry, was it? Oh, oh, you talked about them. The, the Texans doing great against the top since two of the great quarterbacks. How about this? The Texans this year have faced the top three quarterbacks in fantasy. Allen, Stafford and Mahomes. Those three guys combined in six point per passing touchdown leagues. Allen Stafford and Mahomes combined for 28.2 fantasy points against the Texans. Five quarterbacks scored more than that last week alone. So it's, it's really, it's like you, you could see Brissette's done well against Green Bay. He's done well against Seattle, he's done well against the Rams. But Texans are in another Colts when they were good.
D
He throws 45 times.
B
He does, but I looked into that too and I don't mean to make this a starter sit percent thing, but it's a big decision, right? When does he throw? When, when did he not throw 40 or more times? It was a 2717 win at Dallas and a 2723 loss against Green Bay through 36 passes. So they're probably not going to win this game. But you know, they've had a few games where they've allowed about 27 points or 20 to 27 points and he still threw 40 or more passes. So that's encouraging. The other two games where he didn't, where they didn't give up that many points and give up 30 or more. He, he threw 31 and 36 passes. So we can ballpark it. Probably going to throw 35 or more passes. I don't know if he's going to get to 40 this week, but he pretty much always does six out of eight times. No, no, that can't be.
D
I would take the over.
C
If you're the Brissette manager, you get through this week. Yeah, because then it's Atlanta and Cincinnati. Like it couldn't get any better.
B
Yeah, it's amazing. All right, so to recap, Jamie says Jalen Wright, Luther Burden and Isaiah Likely. And Dave says the 49ers DST against Tennessee, Jacksonville DST against the Jets, Devin Singletary, we think Tyrone Tracy is going to be fine, but they've got Washington. They've been running the ball kind of. Kind of a lot lately. And Blake Corum. And who was the fourth one you gave?
D
Well, the Niners and the Jaguars. One of those two, I wouldn't get both of them.
B
Yeah, good call.
D
That's kind of silly. You don't need them both. But one of those DSTs plus singletary plus quorum and then if I put another name on there now, I'm giving you five names. Luther Burton would be next up like Jamie had.
B
Yeah, Luther Burton's got Cleveland, unfortunately. But Cleveland could be without Denzel Ward, their top cornerback. So I'm going to say, tell you what I think makes this week's waiver wire tricky in just a second. But right now, let me remind you about this awesome second chance promotion from BetMGM. So you picture this right. You bet on your favorite player to score the first touchdown in the game, but his teammate scores instead. If this happens, BETMGM wants to give you another chance at the end zone. With BetMGM second chance promotion, you're gonna get your stake back if your first touchdown scorer scores second instead. So that's right, you bet on any pro football player to score the first touchdown of the game. If you're right, you win. If your player scores second, you get your stake back in cash. With BetMGM Second Chance offer, you have a chance to keep the fun going after the first player crosses the goal line. So try a first touchdown scorer wager with confidence today. Bet mgm. Make it legendary. So when I look at Jamie's column and the roster percentages, what I think makes this week tricky is you got Jackson dart and Brock Purdy available in some leagues, especially if you look on sleeper and ESPN and Yahoo, you're talking about 70% roster percentage for Jackson. Dard. Who's got Washington? Brock Purdy has Tennessee. You've got even. Tyrone Tracy is available. Devin Neal is available in a decent amount of leagues. So the shallow league guys kind of complicate this. Jamie, if we were going to throw the shallow league guys in there with the Jalen Wrights and Luther Burdens and Isaiah Likely and shallow league at tight end is, is like a bounty of grapes. Options Harold Bannon Jr. Dalton Schultz in a terrific matchup against Arizona, stuff like that, you know, are, are those guys the ones to, to be looking at if they're available?
C
Without a doubt. I mean, you know, it's, there's a reason why like if you read the column like I, I try not to have that section so as, as deep as it is because like it's not supposed to be, you know, really meant for those guys. But I don't want to, you know, leave anybody out. And you know, it's, it's always sort of tricky from our perspective with our roster. Percentage is like, where do I cut it off? Because like you can, you can make a case. There's some guys that are roster on our site at like 85. They're available in like 60 of leagues on other places. So. Yes. You know, when you look at the quarterbacks, I love Brock party this week might be the start of the week. Jackson Dart. I'm curious to see how he's going to do second game after, you know, the concussion and will he run a little bit more. But the matchup so good against Washington, you mentioned the, the running backs. There's, you know, a, a handful of guys, you know, and that are, you know, not just the Devin Neals of the world, but like you said, Tyrone Tracy.
Chris Rodriguez, Chuba Hubbard. Hubbard, the last time we saw him was, was amazing. Like you mentioned Chris Rodriguez, you know, taking on, on the Giants. You know, at wide receiver we have Juwan Jennings who, you know, has scored a touchdown in four of his last five games. Mike Evans potentially coming back this week. Jaden Higgins has been, you know, a very solid, you know, contributor and, and tight end, you know, Dalton Schultz, Duncan K, you know, Harold Fanon. Like there's, there's just so many options out there and, and the thing about it is, you know, it's a plus and a minus at this point in the season because you may get some scenarios of players that were dropped, you know, in the case of, of a Jackson Darter or Tyrone Tracy or, or Brock Purdue, Juwan James, you know, guys that were going into their bye weeks, that fantasy managers had some tough calls to make that were fighting for playoff spots.
B
Yep.
C
So that might be available. On the other side of it though, you're going to get some teams that are just, you know, because they're, they're not making transactions anymore. They're locked on their rosters and they may have dropped those players for this week for other moves. So I think if you see those guys out there, like, those are break the bank waiver wire guys. If you need to win. Because you need to win.
B
Yeah. By the way, for those of you watching, I do like wearing this shirt on the air because it makes everybody think I'm topless. So enjoy that. I see all the comments. His actual shirt.
So. But enjoy it.
C
If you were topless, you'd look like bigfoot.
B
Yeah, if I were topless, I'd look like, like I'm wearing what Dave's wearing right now. Like a very dark color.
D
You look like you're about to go snowplow the streets of Wisconsin.
B
I don't get that.
D
It's like a heavier jacket.
B
Oh.
C
Oh.
B
I just, I, I look like a bear.
D
You look like you're about to go to a Harley rally.
B
We got to take a break. But think about me topless while we take this break. And we'll be right back on fantasy football today.

From holiday parties to festive roasts by the fire, the holidays are full of moments to share a drink with friends and family. Being ready for the next morning still matters. That's why I have to tell you about this game changing product I use. It's called pre Alcohol. I'll be honest, I'm heading out to a show this weekend in New York City. A lot of money to get there. It's Geese, the most popular band right now on the Internet. And I know it's going to be a heavy drinking weekend. I already know Go.
C
So I prepped everything.
E
You know, I got the ticket ready, I got my train ticket. I want to make sure that the day is going to go great. But then I said I forgot the most important thing and I looked to my cabinet and there it was, the pre alcohol. So I cannot wait to take that before the concert. It's going to be a long night, but it's not going to be a long morning with pre alcohol. Make the most of every toast this holiday season. Just don't forget to bring pre Alcohol along for the ride. B
If we could just continue that shallowly conversation specifically at running back. Let's say, Dave, you gave Devin Singletary as one of your top waiver wire priorities, but it's, I think it's just as risky as Jalen. Well, it's not just as risky as Jalen. Right. Because Singletary has a role.
C
Correct.
B
But I'm going to throw out these names for you and you tell me if Devin Singletary is available, would you take him or I'm probably going to take about everybody you're about to name Tyrone Tracy.
D
Absolutely.
B
Kenneth Gainwell.
D
Yep.
B
Over Singletary. Okay. How about Chuba Hubbard?
C
Yep.
B
Devin Neal.
C
Yep.
B
Tony Pollard.
D
Yep.
B
Chris Rodriguez?
D
What's the scoring? What's the format?
B
Half.
D
Might take Singletary.
B
I mean, Rodriguez got the Giants this week. You know, this could be finally.
D
And Singletary has the.
B
Yeah. Who's going to get more carries? That's a good question. It's not like they just won't give Chris Rodriguez the, the huge share. He's about 58 of the carries usually, which is not.
C
I haven't seen them play with a lead in about a year, so that's true. I wonder what would happen if they're playing with elite.
B
They're, they're underdogs at the Giants, I believe. Tony. Like who's the best of this bunch? I know we usually save the shallow league until later, but I'm just surprised at the roster percentages for these guys. But you know, a lot of people have given up. So Jamie, who's the best out of Gainwell? Ramondre? Tyrone Tracy, Chuba Hubbard, Devin Neal. Great matchup this week against Carolina. Tony Pollard and Chris Rodriguez.
C
If Tracy's healthy, I'll go with Tracy with Neil right behind him. But the thing about Neil is you have to wait to see if Camara's healthy because if Camara's healthy, then Neil becomes somewhat worthless. So I, I think in the case of Tracy, seems like he's fine. He was. He. I was trying to find some updated news item on him yesterday and the only thing I saw, which is a positive thing, like he did a charity event and seemingly was fine during the bye week. So I'm guessing based on the reporting and everything that we heard right after the injury that he's going to be okay. And so you know, I, I don't have him in the top 24, but he's a high inflex and you know it. As we talked about this yesterday with Singletary, like we have a very interesting sample size of what Tracy and Singletary have done post Cam Scatterboo and it sort of, I don't know if transcends the right word but you know, goes through the coaching change, it goes through the quarterback injury and you know, they don't necessarily coincide with each other because Singletary was outperforming Tracy before Dable was fired. And then the two games with Kafka, the first two games of Kafka, Tracy took off, but that was also without Jackson Dart. It was a James Winston, you know, so then Dart comes back and Tracy gets hurt. So I don't really know about how good Tyrone Tracy will be, but the matchup's just fantastic.
B
Just a quick note on the Giants running backs their last five games since the scatter boo injury. Tyrone Tracy has 68 carries. Devin Singletary has 58 carries. The yards per carry is pretty similar. Slight edge to Tracy, 4.0 to 3.8. This though is a reason maybe to think about getting Singletary. Singletary has six carries from the three yard line or closer in this stretch. Tracy has one. In terms of receiving numbers, Tracy's run about twice as many routes, twice as many third down routes. He has three more catches and six more targets over those five games. Singletary likely the goal line guy. Likely not guaranteed, but likely at the goal line. All right, let's go to Dave your fabaji, which we decided is our fab strategy. What's your favorite G these days?
D
It comes down to how desperate you are for a given position. If you just lost Jane Daniels, you don't have a backup. Yeah, you're going to spend a little bit more than normal on a quarterback. If your DST is the Lions or the Rams because they play each other, you're probably going to want to find a different DST and you'll spend a little more than 1 or 2% of your fab bucks to get that top DST. Same thing with running backs. I think the biggest spend might be by the A Chan manager who does not have Jalen Wright. You want to lock him up. You want to make sure you've got him just in case something's wrong come Monday night. Like Jamie talked about, I would want to spend, if I've got it, 10 to 15% of my original budget on Jalen.
B
Right.
D
And you might even be able to get him closer for 10 than 15 because I don't know how many other people who don't have HN in your league are going to spend that much to get him. The only person who might would be the team that's playing you in the first round. They might play a little defense, try and get Jalen Wright. They might be willing to spend that 10% of fab to get the guy that you want and have him in case a chance out.
B
Hopefully we'll get more information on Achan. If we do, we'll tell you on CBS Sports Network. We haven't had a show on CBS Sports, a waiver wire show on CBS Sports Network in a few weeks, but we're back today at 1pm Eastern. So I believe through the rest of the fantasy season. I don't know about week 18, but yeah, Tuesdays at 1pm Eastern and Thursdays at 1pm eastern. I don't think we have a show this Thursday, but we'll keep you updated on the schedule. Tune in to CBS Sports Network. Yeah, next Thursday. We're back there. And I think next Tuesday as well. All right. If you're in the FFT open, by the way, if you're one of the 48 people who are still in the FFT open, spend all your fab. Because if once you get to the next round, you don't need it anymore, you're going to be the only team left in your division. You can pick up whoever you want. You don't need any FAB 24 leagues in the FFT Open. In those 24 leagues, how many, how many teams, how many times do you think the Justin Jefferson manager made the FFT Open playoffs, which would be the top four? So I looked at the, you know, the teams that finished top four. How many of them had Justin Jefferson anywhere from 0 to 24? 8?
C
2?
B
7. Very good, Dave. How many of those 24 had they.
C
Went over he loses.
B
Oh, sorry. Yeah. How many had Jackson, Smith and Jigba?
C
15, 10, 20.
B
20 of the, you know, leagues had Jackson, Smith and Jigba in the playoffs? He's going to be. When Jamie writes that, that win percentage column, he could be way up there and. Yeah.
C
All right. Just want to do a dance.
B
No, not in the FFT Open.
C
No.
B
But I had a couple winning ins and got in. Fft.
C
I saw one of. One of the analyst leagues you got in with with a winning in.
B
Yeah, FFT and Super Flex. Yeah, FFT league I won with. Jalen hurts. We got to talk a lot about that game. Yikes. Two turnover. I'll tell you what I do, man. Two turnovers at the same time.
C
All right.
B
You don't get.
C
You don't know that one, Dave.
D
Not a clue.
B
Oh, that's office space. All right, News and notes.
C
The neighbor.
D
Yeah, I know. You don't clue, Adam.
B
What's that?
D
Nothing, Nothing. Go ahead.
B
Okay. I didn't hear you, but screw you. News and notes. Have we heard anything on to Rod Taylor?
Yes.
C
Aaron Glenn, who loves to talk injuries, said that they are still working through their quarterback situation for this week because Justin Fields is also hurt. Right.
B
Okay. Well, they have Jacksonville on the road, so Daniel Jones is out for the season. Riley Leonard is apparently week to week with a knee injury. The Colts are working out Philip Rivers. Dave, you said it would be Brett Rippin. If it's not Philip Rivers, it would.
D
Be Brett Rippon as of this moment because he's the only healthy quarterback that the Colts have right now. Leonard's week to week, that's usually a bad sign. Anthony Richardson isn't ready, so it's ripping. And then they need a second quarterback. Philip Rivers has been with the Colts before. He's trained Brett Rippin. He is seemingly interested and apparently has already passed the physical.
C
So.
D
Wow. There's a chance that old man Philip Rivers makes one last run in the NFL.
B
Yeah.
Old man River, he's not even in my league at all. All right. Jaden Daniels, I might pick him up.
D
Just for the sentimental value.
B
Jaden Daniels has not been ruled out by the way they. He might. So we talk about Mariota. It's not like Daniels has been. In fact, he could have come back in the game. Apparently, Geno Smith has a shoulder injury. Kenny Pickett replaced him. And Shadur Sanders is going to start for the rest of the season. Devon Hn ribs. We think he's going to be able to play. Nick Chubb also rib injury. Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan could be back this week. They play Thursday against Atlanta. T. Higgins is in the concussion protocol. Drake London is day to day. They play Thursday at Tampa Bay. CD Lamb is progressing through the concussion protocol.
C
And they.
B
They have Minnesota. Oh, boy, that's a fun one. In terms of matchups. Minnesota amazing right now against the pass and CD Lamb working his way through concussion protocol. Tight end. I haven't seen anything on Mason Taylor.
C
You just repeated yourself.
What you said CD Lamb twice.
B
I know I was. I feel like it was just part of one thought.
D
I hope he said two CD Lambs at the same time.
B
Mason Taylor has a stinger, but I. I haven't seen. I think he's probably okay. Darnell Washington, concussions Zach Ertz, acl. He's out for the season. Kate Otten missed practice, short week against Atlanta, probably fine. Kyle Pitts was limited and David Najoku's got a knee injury.
Boy, the Chargers and the Eagles, they couldn't really afford to lose more offensive linemen. And they both did. Landon Dickerson for the Eagles left in the second quarter. Trey Pipkins, the right tackle for the Chargers, he left in the second quarter. Arizona. If you want something in my throat, you want another reason to be afraid of Jacoby Brissette. Left tackle Paris Johnson left with a knee injury at there at Houston this week. Well, Tristan Worths could play for the Bucks, but left guard Ben Bredesen is out this week and there's a lot of defensive cornerback stuff, but I'm gonna skip it. Let's go to the top three at each position, get some more names for you for the waiver wire. Jamie, who are the top three quarterbacks?
C
Oh, we talked about two of them. Mariota would be one for me if there is no Jane Daniels, but something you have to keep an eye on there. Two would be C.J. stroud. Just a great matchup. I. I know he hasn't exactly been a great fantasy quarterback since coming back from the concussion, but much better situation. He's been much better at home. The last two games for him were on the road. And then I have Tyler Schuck third. He's been over 20 fantasy points, three of his last four games, and his best game during that stretch was against Carolina when he had 22.9 points in week 10. So hopefully history repeats itself. But Chuck, with his arm, with his legs, he's doing some nice things right now, so not a bad situation for him.
B
Well, these are not. Those are not like super great options, are they?
C
Well, I mean, again, when you bring up Brock Purdy and Jackson Dart and some of the guys that might be available in shallower leagues, then yes, you'd rather have those guys than this trio. Mariota's certainly been able to hang with those guys from a point perspective situation, so he's. He's probably a little bit safer. But yes, Stroud has been Very difficult to trust. But again, you're playing against Arizona. That's what you're hoping for. And in the case of shock, again, you know, I don't think anybody's expected him to be performing like he's performing. So he's. He's. He's been better than some of the guys we've. We've been counting on.
B
Dave, who are the top three running backs?
D
Devin Singletary is at the top of the list for me. 57 available, the 1B back for the Giants, and I think he will be the one who bellies up at the goal line. Good matchup this week against the Commanders. Blake Corum is next. We've seen his role improve over the last couple of weeks. He had a huge game last week. I don't think he can do that this week, but I think he'll still be in the neighborhood of, like, 10 touches. You're hoping he scores. He's not a great start. He's more of a desperation start. But, man, if anything happens to Kyron Williams or if the Rams just are able to run the ball effectively this week, then by all means, Blake Corn will be great. Then there's a giant gap as far as running backs to pick up. I've got Dylan Sampson third. I'm not real excited about it. He might get you 10 PPR points. He's definitely not the lead back for the Cleveland Browns, but he will catch some passes in what I think will end up being a close game with the Bears on Sunday.
B
Dylan Sampson. Okay. So, Dave, I'm gonna ask you what I asked Jamie earlier. Who would be, let's say, your two or three favorites if all of these players were available? And they're not in most CBS leagues, but sleeper. Yahoo. I see espn, I see the roster percentages for a lot of these guys are much lower. So. Gainwell, Ramondre Stevenson, Tyrone Tracy, Chuba Hubbard, Devin Neal, Tony Pollard, Chris Rodriguez.
D
Tracy is a top 24 running back for me this week in PPR, so he would be at the top of the list. I've got Neil second. I've got Gainwell next.
B
Okay, let's go to the wide. Receivers. Jamie, who are the top three wide receiver priorities?
C
Luther Burton is number one. You know, hoping to build off what he did last week, depending, obviously, on Robo Dunze's health. So keep that in mind when it comes to burden, because I don't know if he'll be as productive or have the chance to be as productive. If Odunze is there. I have Jaden Reed Next. Played the third most snaps of the packers wide receivers this past weekend. I think he's going to get better as the season progresses. At least that's the hope. So he would be the guy that I would look to, especially if you have a buy this week. And then this is very similar to Jalen Wright. So correct me on the correct pronunciation of Ryan's last name.
One more time. Man.
B
No R, apparently. Flannoy.
C
Flannoy. So he would be third, if not a great matchup. But obviously you saw what he was capable of doing, which is dominant against Detroit. So you want pieces of this Dallas offense and not a bad guy to stash on your team just in case.
B
All right, let's. Let's solve this mystery once and for all because the audience told me I was saying. Yeah, I was saying it wrong. All right, I have a. I have an NFL pronunciation guide. So Flannoy is. Is how it is spelled out here. All right, Dave, top three tight ends.
D
I'm confused on the pronunciation. You're telling me it's flown away.
B
No flu. Flannoy.
D
Flannoy, Flannoy.
B
Like you're Flannoying me. Oh, he's so funny.
D
I haven't heard his name said that way ever.
B
Yeah, Ryan Flannoy.
D
I've always heard Flournoy. All right, tight ends, double check for fan and double check for pits. Isaiah likely is the best tight end that you can get off the waiver wire this week. He could leave you high and dry. But he's also been the last two weeks, six targets minimum, double digit PPR points minimum. Should have had a monster game last week. Still had a really good game last week. And I think Lamar Jackson's getting better and he's taking on the Bengals. That allowed. Well, it was like at least seven or six PPR points and change to three different tight ends last week. Two of them were huge. Another one, Jackson, Oz, caught a touchdown. So likely to me is the best tight end you can get off the waiver wire. Then it's a gap. Kissicki and Dalton Schultz. And that's my top three likely. Gasecki, Schultz.
B
There's no matchup quite like Cincinnati, but Schultz gets Arizona. That's a really good matchup too. And he's just been a lot more reliable than likely. Jamie, you also have likely number one. Is it close with Schultz?
C
Yes. Yeah. I mean, look, Schultz has been very consistent.
Two of the last three, not great. But for the last six, you know, depending how much, how long you want to look at the sample size 11 or more. And four of his last six. But to the last three, you know, I had the Buffalo matchup in there, which wasn't good. And then last week was a little frustrating, but I think you're just taking the chance on his involvement in the offense. And the matchup against the Cardinals, which is top five and most or top ten and most fantasy points allowed to the position.
B
Yeah, Schultz had a touchdown called back last week at the Chiefs, but the two of the last three games been bad for him. But they've been. Buffalo is number one against tight ends and Kansas City, I think is number six or seven, Arizona's 25th. Davey didn't mention Colson. Loveland interested in him. He's got the Browns, they are 11th. Been pretty good lately against tight ends.
D
I don't mind him. I think he's a high floor PPR tight end. I just like the other guys a little bit more. In the case of Kasiki and Schultz, like, I'd rather take the chance on them over Loveland at this point, but you could put them next up on the list behind it. And if you like him better, go ahead.
C
Just keep in mind with Kasiki, we've already seen this once already with no. T. Higgins against Baltimore and he was bad.
D
Right? So like total high risk, high reward type play with Kaseki. But if he. Am I saying that right? Kaseki.
B
I think it's gasicky, isn't it? I mean, spelled Gossicki. Let's see if he's even in here. You rocked my world on Ryan F. Yeah. Okay, so all right, let's recap here. Is it Loveland or low villain Loveland. So let's recap. Marcus Mario TA top three quarterbacks, Marcus Mariota at the Giants, C.J. stroud against Arizona, Tyler Schuck against Carolina. But obviously take a look at Jackson, Darp, Rock Purdy, maybe even Sam Darnold. You guys like Darnold this week?
C
Low end starter. Okay.
B
Running backs, Devin Singletary, Blake Corum. Singletary is against Washington, Quorum against Detroit, Dylan Sampson at Chicago. But of course, take a look at all these shallow league guys. I keep mentioning wide receivers. Luther Burden against Cleveland, Jaden Reed at Denver, Ryan Flournoy against Minnesota.
D
I just got it from the Cowboys. You're right.
B
Yeah. And tight ends. It's not me who was right. It was the audience who called me out for. I was saying Flournoy. Tight ends. Isaiah Likely at Cincinnati. Micah Sicki against Baltimore. Dalton Schultz against Arizona. Of the 12 players that I read.
Unless I need someone very specifically like for. I need this position this week and I'm. Maybe I'm. Maybe I have a buy or maybe. I guess if this were just the regular season, I think Luther Burden would be my favorite. I don't know how long Dunes is out, so it's obviously contingent on that. But he led the team in receiving. I think he's really good. You guys feeling that like, you know, these other guys feel just like kind of one week, most of them.
C
Well, I mean, yeah, in. In the case of the two running backs that we like. Whatever, whatever. You know, you. Whichever one you want to listen to me or Dave, you know, there's. They could be great. They could be terrible, you know.
B
Yeah.
C
Tyrone Tracy's healthy and dominating touches again and Singletary doesn't score like he's going to be bad. And obviously Jalen Wright is so tied to the injury situation for Devon Hn. He's going to be next to nothing if Hn's healthy. In the case of the quarterbacks, Jane Daniels may play, so that ruins Mariota. And CJ Stroud has been terrible the last two weeks fantasy wise. So I think it's between. It's between Burton and the tight end.
B
Fair enough. Okay, so that. That's those top four positions. And Dave did not say Jalen Wright, but Jamie has Jalen Wright as his number one priority this week. He laid it out for you earlier in the show. Now it's time for coverage you can count on sponsored by Nationwide. Just like your fantasy roster is more than just your offensive starters, Nationwide is a great insurance company and a great financial services company. So don't forget about the defensive side of the ball and remember, Nationwide is on your side. Jamie, give us a DST to stream this week.
C
Yeah. And you know, depending on the roster percentage, it could be the same one for the next two weeks, especially if the Colts quarterback situation is still a mess. So it's the 49ers. They get the Titans. I know we got burned by this last week because the Browns decided to not show up and play defense this week, but this has been arguably the best matchup of any DST for the season. The Titans offense is typically bad. I don't think Tony Pollard will do that. I think Cam Ward will probably turn the ball over. They're coming off their buy. They should be rested, hopefully as close to healthy as they can be for what they're dealing with for the course of the season. But this should be a great scenario for the 49ers. DST to be a league winner. And as Dave said, the Jaguars right behind them with their matchup as well against the jets and Brady Cook or even a banged up to Rod Taylor or even Justin Fields, whoever starts a quarterback for the Jets. We've seen some bad play at times. Taylor been has been the most competent as you would expect but Jaguars defense at home, their last two games at home Chargers they destroyed.
Last week. They were fantastic. I think they'll be great again this week. So it's. Well, I guess Daniel Jones getting hurt, you know help that but there, there's, there's, there's a lot to like about both these DSTs but if you're just looking for one, the top One is the 49ers.
B
Okay. Yeah. And boy it could really make such a difference in your, in your roster. So maybe you make them. Dave already made the case to make the Niners and the Jaguars your top overall priority. Another DSC that's playing out of its mind right now is the Dolphins. I mean four straight great games, 10 sacks in their last two games, five of their last six they've been really good with Baltimore being the only exception. And they're at Pittsburgh on Monday night. They weren't on your list, Jamie, you have any, any interest in them?
C
56 I think their roster in too many leagues. I'm not mistaken.
B
56% oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see that. But I thought, I mean look, I, I don't know that we should, I don't know we should buy into them.
C
But this, this is, this is probably as strange as to say they're toughest testing of that stretch.
B
One of those teams was Buffalo, but other than that. Yeah, yeah, okay.
D
I like them but I, I would trust the Niners or the Jaguars more than the Dolphins.
C
And I mean you know Roger's history. Like he's not going to throw a lot of interceptions without something fluky happening.
B
Yeah, he does not throw picks. That was coverage you can count on. Sponsored by Nationwide. Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company. They're one of America's largest financial services companies too. For your insurance and financial needs, Nationwide is on your side. Nationwide Investment Services Corporation Member FINRA Columbus, Ohio and let's talk about kickers. Jamie, who are the kickers to get?
C
I think you go Cam Little against the Jets. They give a lot of fantasy points to the position. McFerson last time he faced Baltimore had 24 fantasy points. I don't know if you want to count on that, but they struggled in the red zone first game for. First game back for Virgil Burrow. Eddie Pinero is expected to be healthy. He's been great for the majority of his tenure with the 49ers. So as long as he's playing, you take a chance on him against the Titans, Harrison, Mievis and Butthead against the Lions. So you could, you know, count on that there. And then Chris Boswell coming off a strong game gets the Dolphins at home. I think it will probably be a low scoring game. So Basel has been good for the majority of the season, too.
B
And just, you know, maybe take a look at the weather. I know it's kind of a long way out, but. Or focus on indoor kickers or something like that. That could always be a factor as well. Just to help you out in week 16, if you're listening, you have a buy some players that you might consider. Well, the Dolphins are at the Bengals. Actually, they're home against the Bengals. So Tua, I don't know. Yeah, Darren Waller maybe. Although Greg Dulcich is kind of out snapping him while they're, I think, running more routes.
Maybe hang on to your Chargers pass catchers at Dallas next week. Maybe think about J.J. mcCarthy. He changed things up considerably. Got the ball out really quickly and played well against Washington, obviously got Dallas this week and then the Giants next week. So if he does well at against Dallas this week or at Dallas, then you might buy into him at the Giants. J.J. mcCarthy in Week 16. Devin Neal, if he's still the starter, gets the Jets. They've given up something like eight, 17 touchdowns. The running backs, they give up a ton of touchdowns. The Atlanta offense at Arizona, the Pittsburgh offense at Detroit. Those are some of the better matchups for week 16. And Jamie, you actually have a segment in your column for DSTS for Week 16. 49ers atop the list. They got the Colts on the road. The Vikings are at the. Oh, yeah, the Vikings at the Giants. Well, actually, you know, I forgot. Jackson Dart's not bad. Saints against the Jets, Cardinals against the Falcons. And I'll throw Kansas City. They're 66% rostered, but Kansas City gets the Chargers this week. You could certainly get to the quarterback and Tennessee next week. So they're not a bad option. Right, Dave? Kansas City dst, not bad at all. Okay. All right, let's take a break. Shallow leagues, Deep leagues. Monday night recap. A lot to unpack from that game and anything we miss from the waiver wire when we come back.
G

B
Okay, we're back looking at the Week 15 waiver wire and Jamie in the shallow leagues. I don't know if we. If we missed anything. We've covered a lot. We did. Oh, you know what? I didn't say Juwan Jennings. Juwan Jennings has been. Oh, did you? Okay. All right, good. He's been a guy that, like, you'd pick him up over burden, right?
C
Oh, he scored touchdown four of his last five games. Like, he's been the most consistent 49ers receiver all season, certainly in the last stretch. And that's gone over both quarterbacks. So I think just based on the matchup. Yes, absolutely. He's a top 24 receiver this week.
B
He's only getting six or seven targets most weeks, but, yeah, great matchup. Number one, wide receivers destroy Tennessee. So Jennings, Evans. We haven't even talked about Mike Evans, but it looks like he might play. He and. And Jennings are rostered in about the same amount of leagues. Who do you prefer?
C
Well, I mean, again, Evan's going for 240 a game over the next five weeks, so probably Jennings.
B
Did you adjust because it's only four weeks now? Yeah, he needs about. Probably about 200 a game.
C
I think it's 240.
B
240 a game?
C
I think so.
D
It's pronounced get sicky.
B
Yeah. No kidding.
Garrett Wilson, you could stash. So we've talked about all those running backs. What'd you say?
C
Garrett Wilson could play this week.
B
Really? That's an option?
C
Well, this is the week that he's eligible to come off ir.
B
Okay. I think they said, like, there was no update on Garrett Wilson. That was the last.
C
Again, there is no update on. But this is the week that he's eligible to return, so.
B
Did I forget anyone in the shallow leagues? We talked about Purdy and Dart. We're not so thrilled. Oh, how about Trevor Lawrence? We're not so thrilled about Sam Darnold, I guess, but Trevor Lawrence is playing well. You like him?
C
I mean, yes, it's. It's been two of his last three where he's been very good. And I think just looking at the matchup this week against the jets, they're probably going to run all over them. So.
Will he have to throw? But I think he can get you 18 plus points. Sure.
B
Trevor Lawrence is only rostered in 53% of leagues. On sleeper, I always find sleeper, Yahoo, ESPN, they're pretty similar. So I'm not going to check the other sites for him. But Trevor Lawrence or Brissette this week?
D
Dave, I have Lawrence one spot higher.
B
All right. All right. Little safer tight end. If we look at the shallow league tight ends, we've got Kincaid at New England. We've got Waller at Pittsburgh the last time they played. Yeah, he had six catches, 108 yards on six targets against New England in the first matchup. I don't think he's had more than six targets in a game all year. Oh, Dalton Kincaid is averaging 2.89 yards per out run. That is unbelievable. That is the most for a tight end since George Kittle and Mark Andrews in 2019. Darren Waller, this is route rate average. Yeah, it's probably about 55%. He's. That's why.
We'Ve got Kyle Pitts who's on fire right now. And again, London might play this week, but it's a Thursday game at Tampa Bay.
C
He also had a good game against the bucks in week one with London on the field.
B
Okay, Harold Fannin Jr. Who's doing well, gets at Chicago. They're 21st against tight ends. They've been better lately. Juwan Johnson against Carolina. Brenton Strange against the Jets. This is tough to think about these guys, you know who. Who are some of your favorites there? Just. I'll run through the names real quick. Kincaid, Waller, Pitts, Fannin, Juwan Johnson and Strange. And Pit. Oh, I said Pitts. Who are some of your favorites there?
C
I have Pitts, Fannin and Kincaid ranked ahead of Tyler Warren and Travis Kelsey this week.
D
Pits fan mostly agree Fan in first for me. Pits after that and then Kelsey and Kincaid are back to back.
C
Yeah, Pitts is my favorite by far.
D
And when's the last time you said those words?
C
When he was drafted.
B
Yeah, you have we Dave, One of the reasons why in some of my leagues I didn't make the playoffs is because none of these guys are available in my leagues. So who are the deep leaders to get me to week 16? Get me through week 15 deep league options.
D
So the good news, question mark after good is that Tyler shuck, Bryce Young, J.J. mcCarthy, shoulder sanders, they're all available in north of 70% of leagues. That's the order in which I would go after them. Mario is at 67% and he's ahead of that entire group.
C
Can you. So you shouldn't have to be. 100 available.
D
Who's that?
Who is 100?
C
Philip Rivers.
B
Say that list again. I'm sorry I missed the order.
D
The. The original list was shuck, Bryce Young, J.J. mcCarthy, Shooter Sanders.
C
Okay.
D
And I can make a case for any of them. Like, I. I thought that over the last two weeks, there's been at least one game with Chuck. There's been two where they've played pretty well. And there's. There's encouraging signs from all four of those quarterbacks. That's the point. Now, are they must starts? I wouldn't consider them must starts unless it's a 2QB league. But if you're desperate for a quarterback and you can't get your hands on Mariota or Stroud or Brissette, whatever, then that's who you're going to. It's not great. But this is for the deep leagues, right, Adam?
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
D
There we go.
C
That's what I was looking for.
D
All right, 86 available. It's about as good as it gets at running back. Otherwise, you're looking at backups. Jalen Wright is 97. You'd feel pretty good getting him other backups that you might be interested in, but they're probably not going to play that much are like Sean Tucker, Malik Davis, Keaton Mitchell. If he's healthy, there's. There's not a lot.
B
How about P. Ryan? P. Ryan's not terrible in this discussion, is it?
D
Go ahead and take your six PPR points with P. Ryan. He's available in 88 of leagues. Luther Burden is 71 available. We've talked a ton about him. I wouldn't at this point. I'm not really stashing anybody, though. So if I'm picking up Burden and I'm not going to start him, he better be the only receiver on my bench, is what I'm saying there. Jalen Coker, 92 available. You can turn back to John Mechi at 83 available. Short area target, if it's Brady Cook, Pat Bryant would also be someone that we would be stashing. But 94% available. Andre Yos, 81% available. He could see an uptick without T. Higgins there. Tight end Likely Gicki and Colby Parkinson. Yeah, they're all available in 80% plus of CBS leagues. Likely my favorite of those three.
B
I'm glad you mentioned Yoshevas. I mean, usually we would be talking about him, but I think it just the production wasn't quite good enough without Chase one week without Higgins one week. But if CD Lamb doesn't play, I think it's pronounced Rion Flannoy. He he's had a let's see a target per out run rate in let's say the five games without Lamb. Lamb missed four but four and a half because of last week. Target per out run rate's been 16.7% which isn't good. But then 22.2% 42.9% 24% 35.1% it's really fun. Unfortunately it's Minnesota, but he's 1% roster. All right, let's talk about last night's game. Chargers win it in overtime, 22 to 19. Lot of turnovers. If you started A.J. brown, you got a really good game from him, but it could have been even better. He dropped a deep ball on the first play of the game. He had a touchdown callback on a holding penalty. But he seems to be locked in and we're all going to start him. Jamie, give me an Eagles takeaway as Jalen Hurts scored 0.4 fantasy points through four interceptions and he fumbled. So give me an Eagles takeaway.
C
Jamie interception and fumble on the same play. It was crazy. Yeah, I would go right back to Jalen Hurts. Saquon Barkley's besties look since the Giants game, so hopefully that's a sign of things to come. And then A.J. brown, I think those are the must start guys for the Eagles. Devonte Smith is at this point I think you only consider him a starter in three receiver leagues. He's probably going to still be ranked as a top 24 guy based on his potential. It's almost like you got to put him in a similar situation. Not as dire, but Justin Jefferson and these type of players that you probably don't have better like you're not starting Luther Burn over Devonte Smith. You know if if we're talking about waiver wire guys but Smith has just been struggling and I'm not gonna buy Dallas Goddard doing this consistently. We just have not seen that from him. So. Plus the Raiders are actually good against tight ends. So Hertz Barkley Brown must starts next week. Smith probably still starter. Goddard, you got a great game if you started him. Congratulations.
B
The Eagles schedule for the fantasy playoffs two good games. One tough one Raiders at home at Washington and then at Buffalo. Let's get to week 17 before we fret about that. Dave takeaways for the Chargers Man, I gotta look up their yards per play, but I think they averaged around 4 yards per play. They really sucked. And Herbert, Herbert scored 14.2. I thought Hampton, everything looks so good for him. Then he got run over by Kobe Dean and like, that was kind of the end of the fun for Hampton. But anyway, your takeaways for the Chargers.
D
I'm hoping Hampton can dust himself off and be ready to go next week and take over the rushing workload. It was a close split as far as carries went between Hampton and Vidal. Bedell played almost 70% of the snaps to Hampton's 31%. Hampton 2 of 3 inside the 10. I think we got a little lucky, obviously, with Hampton catching that touchdown on the first drive and then just hanging around enough and getting a decent run in a little bit later on the game to boost his average over 4 yards per carry. I'm hoping this was a game where all the rust is gone. He comes back in next week against Kansas City. Not the easiest matchup in the world, but he ends up leading the way in terms of touches, playing time, etc, and Videl goes into a smaller role. I'm nervous about everything else in this Chargers offense. It stems from the offensive line. I don't know what the latest is on Trey Pipkins, but I know that when he went down, Bobby Hart came in and the offensive line got worse. And this is just a team that's going to continually get pressured and blitzed. It's going to force Herbert to throw the ball quickly. And you saw the numbers for all the receivers for the Chargers. I don't see this changing. I don't think we're going to see big games from McConkey, Johnston, Keenan Allen, Gadsden anytime soon, certainly not against Kansas City. And that means Justin Herbert. This. This to me is like a pretty decent game for him given the circumstances that he has. On top of, you know, the offensive line's bad, his left hand's broken, he's got to get the ball, pass, etc. Like, I just think that Herbert shouldn't be counted on as a reliable fantasy quarterback moving forward. Most, if not all of the quarterbacks that I talked about earlier, I have ranked ahead of Herbert this week.
C
Wow. Yeah.
B
Well, look, they don't have a very easy schedule either at Kansas City, especially think about this for Hampton at Kansas City, at Dallas, which is kind of bad for running backs, good for the passing game, and then they finish with Houston in week 17. So tough sledding going forward. McConkey, if you want to make an excuse for McConkey, Cooper to Jean just did a great job on him. And the Eagles, I think they gave up the fourth fewest receiving yards to slot receivers. So this was a tough matchup. Now the Chiefs have a great slot corner to a guy who can go in and out. But McDuffie got hurt last week, so let's see if. If he comes back.
Would I. No one's going to drop McConkey, but is everyone else in the Chargers passing game? Herbert?
D
Yes.
B
Gadsden Allen Johnston. Droppable?
D
Yes.
C
Yep.
B
Okay. All right. And that's it for that game. I don't have much on the drop o meter. I'll take a look at the roster trends and see who's getting dropped. But Michael Pittman, Alec Pierce, Tyler Warren. Obviously Josh Downs is droppable, but you guys see yourself dropping Pittman, Pierce or Warren?
D
No, definitely not Warren. And I don't want to drop those other two guys. Like, for example, I'd rather drop Emmanuel Wilson than Alec Pierce.
B
That's a conversation. Yeah, it was interesting. I dropped Pierce and I felt kind of crappy about it. Now I don't feel as bad about it. But two of the last three. And I talked about this on me on The Box War. Two of the last three games for the Colts. Actually, all three of the last three games they have thrown for 200 or fewer yards. All right. They've had tough matchup. They haven't. They have not had a good passing game. But Pittman and Pierce have. Have had each of them two good games. Thirteen or more fantasy points in the last three downs has been invisible and Warren has really struggled here. Warren has the best of the matchups though, this week. It's the thing, like you're saying, don't drop Pittman, Pierce are. There's no way I'm starting them at Seattle. Right. So if you have to make.
D
Unless you have no one else, if.
B
You have to make that decision, they might be on the chopping block. So I'm saying, you know, for a team, that's true. Yeah, sure.
D
Yeah. If you've. If your team's deep and you've got a bunch of receivers, then yeah, they could be on the chopping block. You can make the. You can make the move to add burden now and then make the decision later in the week. Burden vs. A Colts wide receiver.
B
Yeah. I hope you don't have to drop them, but Seattle's super tough. Troy Franklin, 88 rostered.
D
You can drop them.
B
Yeah, he's not playing enough. Darren Waller, 81 rostered.
C
I'm holding him for week 16.
D
The Bengals, I think you can drop them and then pick him back up before week 16.
B
Possible. Let's see who's being dropped.
D
Like you. Would you rather have. Who does likely have in week 16? I could. To answer my own question, the Patriots. Oi. So we might not be as interested in starting. Likely.
B
They're like, yeah, they're 24th or something.
D
Oh, that's true.
B
That's true. Yeah, They've been better lately, though.
D
I'm pretty sure we could find a tight end that's better than Waller at this point.
B
Let's put Khalil Shakir on the drop.
C
Can't find a matchup better than what Waller has, though.
D
For a team that's running the ball a ton, I don't know if it matters as much. Who is it? Khalil Shakir?
C
Well, they've been running because the other. The other team's offenses have been so terrible. Like, I think this is the.
D
Yeah.
C
Since that's the litmus test next week, can they slow down Joe Burrow?
B
No, they can't.
D
Narrator. No, they cannot.
C
Right.
B
Khalil Shakir on the drop. O meter.
D
Four.
C
Yeah. I'd rather have him still than even Luther Bird. Okay.
B
How about.
Chris Godwin?
D
Same 4.
C
Yeah.
B
Kamani Vidal?
C
7.
D
I was going to say 5.
B
Okay. Roma Dunze.
D
4.
C
2.
D
Put him in the same boat as all the other guys.
B
Let's see if we missed anything on the waiver wire. Someone said, I didn't just read this, did I? Why are. Why are you not just played Aaron Waller. So he's not playing that much. And the Dolphins since week seven, I believe I said on yesterday's show, they have the second highest run rate in the NFL. They barely throw. Dulcich played more snaps than him. Waller ran more routes, but not that many. So it's just not a great situation for Waller. Low pass volume and not that many snaps. So I didn't. I don't think you can trust them at Pittsburgh. Then you can keep them for Cincinnati in week 16. All right, waiver wire. So, Purdy and Dart, who do you like better this week?
D
Pretty Purdy.
B
Which is interesting because Purdy has not been playing well and Dart has had one bad game.
C
Basically, here come the Titans, here come the Commanders.
B
But I want to does it. It just sort of feels like Dart was running on this magic that just eventually was going to run out and.
C
Well, I mean, look, he came off a two game absence with a concussion and clearly was not going to do the same things against the Patriots. And so, you know, now he has another favorable matchup. It's a rivalry game. I'm sure they want to make a statement for what Dart can do for this team in this rivalry game for years to come. So he's a good starter, but I think Purdy's just got a little bit more upside based on the matchup that he has. And hopefully, you know, everything that's on the table. I mean, Shadow Sanders just threw.
D
Yes, exactly.
C
For six, three, six. And it felt like 600, 360 some odd yards and three touchdowns and ran for a score. Like, Purdy should be great.
B
Yeah, he should be. Okay. So also, any hesitation guys with Dak Prescott this week against Minnesota and Patrick Mahomes against the Chargers, you know, are we looking to the waiver wire? I already asked you about Brissette, but are we looking to the waiver wire? If you have those guys.
C
It feels like in the case of Mahomes, like we talked about this with Justin Jefferson and Lamar Jackson, you know, players that you drafted to be your studs and at times this season have certainly been the case more. So the quarterbacks than Jefferson, like, are the Chargers, that type of defense that you fear Mahomes that much in his own building?
B
I don't know. I mean, they might be. They were pretty.
C
In his own stadium. I know you have an issue.
B
They were pretty damn good yesterday.
C
I. I'd feel gross losing my playoffs with Marcus Mariota as my starter, CJ Stroud as my starter, and Mahomes finds his way into 20 plus points.
B
What if it's. What if it's Purdy or Dart, though?
C
Purdy. I would definitely start over him. And Dart is close. So that's, That's a different story. You know, you have a sample size of what those guys have been, and even Mario, look, he. He's had a good season as a fantasy starter and taking a really good matchup with the Giants, but still, like, you got to be really sure that you're, You're. You're making the right decision by benching those guys.
D
The chargers have allowed 19 or fewer fantasy points to 10 of the last 12 quarterbacks that they've taken on. And Mahomes has been 17 or fewer in four of his past five. Let's see what the offensive line looks like for the Chiefs before we completely walk away from Mahomes here. But that's a huge issue. Well, I mean, we know he doesn't have protection, right?
C
Probably not playing now.
D
Right. So what Are they doing.
Right.
B
All right.
D
I mean, if they're down to dust at the tackle spots. And I know that the, the replacement for. For Morris on Sunday night wasn't bad.
C
Well, I mean, did you see what they were doing in the game?
B
Yeah, it's like rolling him out, moving the whole pocket. Yeah.
D
Yeah.
C
No, they were. I mean, they had both tight ends blocking like they, they left Kelsey and Noah Gray in the block. They're. They're basically using seven offensive linemen and.
B
And the Texans had a 7% blitz rate, the lowest in the NFL last week, so. Right. You know, it's.
D
I don't think they're a very high blitzing team.
B
They're not, but they're much higher than 7%. You know, they felt like they didn't even have to blitz. All right, so anyway, the guys to get on the waiver wire. Mariota Stroud. Stroud's got Arizona. Mario is at the Giants. Tyler Shock against Carolina, who's actually eighth against quarterbacks, but they haven't faced a lot of good ones. Shadur Sanders at Chicago, they're 26th against quarterbacks. They lost a cornerback, a corner last week. I don't know his status, but they lost a starting Corner last week. J.J. mcCarthy at Dallas. Man, is he in your top 15 this week?
C
No.
D
No.
B
All right. They did make those adjustments and he looked certainly better. Dallas gives up the Most fantasy points. J.J. mcCarthy has. Dallas, Giants, Lions, they're all bottom five against quarterbacks.
C
We. We will see the. The J.J. mcCarthy test. If he does well again, then hopefully that's a positive. It's just like the volume is not going to be there for him. And will he score touchdowns? Aaron Rodgers, would it shock you if he's 152?
B
I don't necessarily agree about the volume.
D
Though, just because that comes down to Dallas's offense.
B
Dallas has a good problem is that.
C
Will Dallas's offense be able to crack the Minnesota code at.
B
It's. It's in Dallas, right? Yeah. So they've. They put a big number on the Chiefs, Packers. I think that game was at home. Yeah, it was. It was an overtime game.
D
They're usually pretty good Lambs if Lamb's playing. I like their chances of Lambs out. I don't like their chances.
B
Fair.
D
Fair.
B
Rogers against Miami, they've been better lately, but against kind of lousy quarterbacks. Kenny Pickett for your. For your deep leagues.
C
Kenny Pickett, super flex only.
B
Yeah, I would. I might even start like a running back over Kenny Picket at Philadelphia. But Riley Leonard at Seattle, same thing. Probably not even going to be Riley Leonard. Brady Cook at Jacksonville, you know, super flex. Okay. Bryce Young or J.J. mcCarthy.
Carthy Young. All right, running backs. So the shall lead guys that we've mentioned 100 times. Gainwell, Stevenson, Tracy, who appears to be toward the top of the list. Chuba Hubbard. During the buy, Dave Canalis said that Rico Dowdle is going to remain the early downs back of the primary. Early downs back. But we'll see. Hubbard ran really well last week.
D
They're gonna split. It's gonna be annoying.
B
It is.
C
This is why Bryce Young is probably not going to be great. We got 40 touches for their running backs in their last game. Like they want to just lean on their backs as much as possible.
B
Devin Neal's got a team that's 20.
C
Probably will be able to do so against the Saints.
B
Yeah, Devin Neal is a very good matchup against Carolina. Not to say that he's going to do well, but even Alvin Camara ran well against Carolina. Tony Pollard, Chris Rodriguez on this list as well. Tyler Algier. You know what he is by the way, just we don't know about Jaden Daniels and we don't know about Alvin Camara. So keep that in mind for your waiver wire pickups. And we obviously don't know about Devon Hn, but we think he's going to play. That being said, Jalen Wright's got the most upside of any running back on this list this week. Going up against Pittsburgh.
C
It's not close.
B
Yeah, I mean it's about not necessarily the shallow league guys, but not even including them. Devin Singletary is two. Blake Corum, Dylan Sampson, Samaj P. Ryan are on the list and wide receiver. The shallow league guys are Jennings, Evans, Garrett, Wilson eligible to return this week. K, Sean Booty. You know how it is with him. He's facing Buffalo. They typically don't give up those big plays. Jaden Higgins. Do we like Jaden Higgins this week or we try to move on from him after his first bad game in a while.
C
Really, I think he's just a good number three receiver. You know, he kind of is that, you know, clear Shakira, when Shakira's right range 11 to 12 PPR points and if he scores a touchdown, you'll be thrilled.
D
I'd rather have Burden.
C
Agreed.
B
All right. Burden has Cleveland. They have allowed three touchdowns wide receivers in their last two games, but they're usually pretty damn tough. I don't know, we thinking probably the same kind of game for burden. About 10, 11 PPR fantasy points.
D
Sure.
C
Yeah. If he gets the Zakia touchdown, you feel great about it.
B
Yeah, they'll give him maybe a carry or two. Jaden Reed is second on the list at Denver. It's a guy we haven't really talked about. Jamie, what are your thoughts on Jaden Reed?
C
Well, I mean, as you see, once we get past Burton, there's a lot of ifs and so, you know, trying to attach something to a good offense, if not potentially great offense. And Jordan Love has looked very good the last two games and so read third amount of snapshot for the wide receivers behind Watson and.
And Dobbs. And if you think about Denver's track record, this season has been better lately because Riley Moss has been better lately, but the second receivers had more success. So if you're trying to be creative, you're the packers offense. Watson's not going to have a good game against this defense, so don't count on Christian Watson this week. I think Jaden Reed and Romeo Dobbs may have an opportunity to play well. I don't want to trust Romeo Dobbs after he had two targets and no catches. So Reed got two carries. It seems like he's gonna have a chance to maybe play that sort of, you know, Debo Samuel role that we talked about his rookie season. Hopefully that's the case. So he's not a bad wide receiver to put on your bench and just see what happens. Plus he gets the Bears again next week.
B
Rye, we already talked about if CD Lamb is out. Ryan full flew, flew or annoy Shimray. DK caught a touchdown, he had eight targets and he's playing a lot. He's got a chance. We're not going to give a big endorsement of Chimray dk, but got a lot of targets and typically does get seven or more targets when he has, you know, this, this good snapshare. Devon Vale, five targets, but I think they only threw 20 passes last week.
C
Yep.
B
So that's a good target share for vale. So that's seven targets, eight targets and then a 25 target share for Vale in his last three games.
C
Like if you're looking at the two guys we spent a lot of time on last week, Adnai Mitchell and and Vale. Mitchell's quarterback situation now is just awful. Yeah, unless Taylor comes back and then maybe feel better about it against Jacksonville, which is a good matchup. But Vale I think is the one you say, okay, can he get back to the seven plus targets that he had each of the previous two weeks? They probably Going to be trailing and. And throwing the ball because of how the Panthers will be running the ball on them. So I think Vale's targets go up and not a bad deep league. Number three wide receiver.
B
All right. And Darius Slayton has. He caught a touchdown last week. He only had three targets. He did run.
C
So Slayton in his last four games with dart, maybe three games of dart, 11 PPR points or more on all three. So, again, you know, when we're talking about Jaden Higgins and we're talking about some of these guys that are Vale and some of these other players, you know, that you're. You're hoping for great matchup, as we know, against Washington. And he's done well with his. With his quarterback, you know, didn't do well in the one game with James Winston.
B
But he also has this Isaiah Hodgins problem. Last game, the Giants were trailing so big, they went three wide receivers for much of the game. But when they're in two wide receiver sets, I don't know who's out there with Wondale, because two weeks ago, two games ago, it was more Hodgins than Slayton or they kind of split evenly.
C
Well, two games ago is Winston, and Winston seems to favor Hodgins and. And Dart seems to favor Slayton, but it wasn't target.
B
I'm talking about playing time.
C
No, I get it.
B
Yeah. Jaylen McMillan is 7% roster. Jack Besh, you know, Jack Beth's coming off a good game, but at Philadelphia, at Houston, his next two games, and then. Yeah, like, Jamie, you didn't put Yoshevis on the list. Dave mentioned him. What are you thinking about Yoshavas if Higgins is out?
C
I mean, we. We've seen this story already once, you know, against Baltimore, he was out, targeted by Mitch Tinsley and caught a touchdown. So he's. He's a number four receiver. You want to trust him, go ahead. I think just based on what he's shown us, like, it just hasn't been very much.
D
It's only for the deeper leagues. The week clearly behind Burden. Higgins can make the case. He's even behind Jerry Judy. If you want to make the case.
B
I mean, the week before that, though, Yosef there was no Jamar Chase, And Yoshafa said seven targets and four catches for 61 yards. Whatever. Pat Bryant and Tim Patrick I put on it.
E
Whatever.
B
These are just names. We're not picking them up. Okay, Tight ends, we like Dalton Kincaid and Kyle Pitts a lot and Harold Fannin Jr. A lot. And likely. Dave, you were saying but would you rather have Juwan Johnson, Brenton Strange, or Isaiah? Likely, Likely.
C
Likely for this week.
Although Juwan Johnson's best game of the season came against Carolina. Four catches, 92 yards and a touchdown.
B
Okay, likely is so risky, right?
D
Oh, I get it. I. I like. I like what we've seen from him over the last two weeks. And I thought Lamar looked better last game than he did two games ago. And he was okay two games ago.
C
He's only banking on the matchup. Like the same thing you're banking on the matchup like, just tight ends destroy this team. Absolutely destroy this team. And I think, you know, yes, it's risky. Adam. It's been two games of him being involved. And Dave said it. It was exactly six targets in each of the last two games. He should have had over 18 PPR points in both of those. If he doesn't fumble going in the end zone against the Bengals and the touchdown counts last week against the Steelers. So like, if he has those two games, just forget about. He just scored. It's six targets and exactly six targets. Exactly 12 and a half PPR points. Points. If it's 18 plus points. And now you're facing Cincinnati like we. We'd be saying top five potentially for.
B
This guy, but he's not the Cincinnati.
D
Cincinnati's allowed at least 8.7 half PPR points to 11 tight ends in their last nine games.
C
Forget about the outcome. There is no better matchup for any player at any position than the tight end facing the Bengals.
B
100%. I know, but he's not. He's not like they still have Mark Andrews. That's the concern if Andrews were out. Yeah, I mean, he's tight end one.
C
This is also a team that earlier this season gave up four touchdowns to the Pittsburgh Steelers at the tight end position. I know it like there could be an opportunity here for both of these guys to go off. So if you are the Andrews owner and he was starting to get going later in, late in that game before Flowers fumbled on the. It might have been the last drive, but he had two catches on the last drive. Like, there's opportunities for Andrews here too.
B
So do you like Kincaid, Pitts and Fanon better than likely?
D
I do.
C
Based on the targets and the. The roles that they. I mean, look, Kyle Pitts is on fire right now. Like, you can't get away from that. Certainly ppr. Non ppr. You can make the case that likely is better because he probably scores, whereas Pitts has been allergic to the ends. I think he's a one touchdown in the season, maybe two. Fanon looked amazing last week and matchup is clearly not something that you have to run away from. David Najoko could be out. That's great. And in the case of Kincaid, like he already went for 100 yards against this defense. This defense, New England Patriots defense has struggled against tight ends as well. He came back last week. I know he wasn't the best tight end but he certainly did enough to make you feel comfortable with him. And it's Now I believe nine games on the season that he's played five of those he scored 14 PPR points or more or 12 and a half PPR points more. But like that's again borderline top five guy. So I think in the case of all those guys to your point Adam, they're safer than Isaiah likely. But this two game stretch that we're on plus matchup, like why would you not be excited to start Isaiah likely this week? Okay, I'll tell you. I have, I have one league it's Dynasty league where I think I could play three tight ends. I might have a choice to make between J.J. mcCarthy as my super flex versus playing a third tight end. So I have fan and I've likely I have Schultz is ppr. I may play all three tight ends. That's how good their their situation is.
B
Yeah, Schultz is looking good too. You have your list was it's four.
C
Points for passing yards or passing touchdowns.
B
Ah likely Love Lynn Schultz. Were your top three Gasicki, Theo Johnson. Did I say that right? Dave Johnson's first name.
D
Yes.
B
And Colby Parkinson said Mason Taylor, Ben Senate you know gets an opportunity now with with earth out dsts. We like the Niners and we get.
C
There are some leagues where you can still make AD drops for future reference. Like Ben said, it's the perfect guy to put on your bench. If you obviously in dynasty leagues if you can still add players, pick him up because he could be the starting tight end for the Commanders next year or it's his 30 some odd years old just towards ACL. We'll see. This is his audition now for the next, you know, four games.
B
Ben Sinnett and DST's 49ers, Jaguars, Bears, Cowboys, Vikings, 49ers and Jaguars are the prizes here. Do you like them better than the Chiefs against the Chargers?
C
Yes.
B
Yeah. Against better than the Chargers against the Chiefs?
C
Yes.
D
Yeah.
C
All right. This is my third and fourth DSTS for this week. Seattle's one, Houston's two. Yeah.
B
And kickers Cam Little, Evan McPherson.
C
I may have the Eagle three against the Raiders. I have the Eagles, three against Raiders. Sorry.
B
Okay, Cam Little, Evan McPherSon, Eddie Pinero, Harrison Mevis, Chris Boswell. Okay, long show today, but important one. Let's go get a win, move on to the semifinals. Thanks a lot for watching.
