This is fantasy football today from CBS Sports.
A
What a play. Can you believe this? And had no idea.
D
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
A
Off to the races and he stays on his feet. This is going to go the distance.
C
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath.
A
All right everybody, welcome to the show. It's Sunday night fantasy football Today presented by BetMGM. Megan Legendary Jonathan Taylor made it pretty legendary. Nearly 50 points. Most fantasy points for a running back since, you know, he Jonathan Taylor. Good guess. Devon Achan. So how about this 20, 23, week three, Devon Achan scored 51.3 fantasy points. The next week, Christian McCaffrey scored 48.7 fantasy points. Today Jonathan Taylor came just what he had. 49.6 I believe. 244 yards, three touchdowns plus three catches for 42 yards in the game. Not too bad. Did you, did you by any chance beat Jonathan Taylor this week?
C
I don't think I faced Jonathan. I honestly don't. I know I Don't think I faced HN either, who also had 40 points. I faced Gibbs in three or four leagues, okay?
A
I faced. Just real quick, I faced Jonathan Taylor. But the guy who started Jonathan Taylor also started Patrick Mahomes, Kareem Hunt and T. Higgins. So I am going to win that week. Now one more stat for you. Matthew Stafford. This was on the CBS broadcast. He's the first player since the merger to have four touchdowns and no interceptions in three straight games. Oh my gosh. Matthew Stafford's playing out of his mind. Right?
C
I'm kind of mad at myself because Matthew Stafford was number one in the projections this week. And I was like, I can't rank him ahead of Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen. So I ranked him at number three and I put Allen and Jackson ahead of him. And why? They're not any good.
A
He has scored 34 point. What did he score today?
C
Let's get 34.9.
A
Okay, so that's 34.8. I got him at 35.2, but maybe there were some deal downs. I missed 34.8 or more in six point per passing touchdown in three straight games. I wonder if Lamar Jackson's ever done that, if Josh Allen's ever done that. I wonder.
C
Have you taken a look at the top 12 quarterbacks this week?
A
Not yet, actually.
C
Usually that's my fault. Stafford was one, Golf was two, Davis Mills is three, Mac Jones is four, Dylan Gabriel's eight, Tyler Shuck is 10, Marcus Mariota's 11.
A
Yeah, remember I, I did a buy or sell weeks ago that said something like there's no positional advantage to having any quarterback.
B
Really?
C
Right.
A
Lamar Jackson was the only one that I felt there was. But I don't know, man. I don't know anymore. All right, how about a big winner?
C
Well, the biggest winner, Trey V. On Henderson.
A
Maybe we call him Trevian Henderson.
C
Maybe we should give this guy the football. Holy cow. Two runs of over 50 yards right at the 68 yard touchdown run yards.
A
And 55 yards and then a lot.
C
Of one and two and zeros. But still you cannot put that back in the box. Don't put it back in the box.
A
Heath, I'm going to give you a movie reference. You're not going to get it, Dave. Maybe you'll get the movie reference. What's in the box? What's in the box?
D
Seven.
A
Yeah, there you go. Travion Henderson. Let's hope they don't put him back in the box. He was tremendous. He was started in 71% of leagues and he's RB2 for the week behind Taylor and Dave. He I think you submitted him as a winner. You think is here to stay or what time?
D
Yeah, I think he's at minimum Gonna split reps 50, 50 when Ramadre comes back. I'm a little worried about him having goal line carries but this is an awesome offense and he's an awesome player. He really showed what he could do. If this is all stuff that we knew, I, I don't know what clicked today like this, this is take this will take watching film to figure out but I, I just crushing it on the edges, getting in space, hitting the gas. Where was this the first nine weeks? And I think part of it is he just didn't get enough opportunities and in the last two weeks he's gotten some opportunities. He's done great with it. This is a great offense and I would imagine that he's still going to be in line for at least half the carries and depending on game flow two to five targets per game. So we're getting closer to him being a must start. I'm glad he was started in 71 of leagues.
A
Heath who's a big loser?
C
Oh, there were a lot of them but I would say from my loser list DJ you need to give me more because they gave you zero. I think they call this a Roma dunes except he had one more target. Four targets, zero catches, zero yards. This team like I hope Ben Johnson happens to catch Sports center or something tonight and see oh look at that fast rookie. Look what happened when they gave him a bunch of touches. Maybe we should do the same thing with Luther Burton because Luther Burton picks up 15 yards every time he touches the football and D.J. moore and Alama Days Akias turn eight targets into one catch for 15 yards.
A
Well, I think Zacchaeus had three drops today. He was almost the reason they lost basically was so bad.
C
I thought that time stood still in the first half because they dropped the same pass in the same place in the end zone. Like I think they were standing on the same pieces of grass dropping the ball in the end zone.
A
Yeah, I thought Caleb was playing actually pretty well and had almost nothing to show for it. And then here come the Giants and they law. You know they let the Caleb Williams have a pretty good game but all right. Yeah.
D
Do you think that DJ Moore was a little bit different in the second half? Because I know he missed a chunk of the second quarter with an injury. I know he came back in essentially finished the game wasn't there at the tail end of it.
C
But I scored the same number of fantasy points.
A
Yeah, sure. I couldn't say, you know, I'll just say that he only had. I think he had about a 66% route participation rate. It's usually in the 90s, so just, just missing some time did hurt him.
C
You know what I'd like to see? In 90% of the routes, a Kia is on the sideline.
A
I actually his drops may open the door for burden. I don't think that's out of the question. All right, so good game for Roma dunes, a terrible game for everybody else. Colson Loveland was all right and Caleb Williams does come through and Jackson Dart came through and I really think, I don't really think the weather was much of a factor, maybe a little bit. But thankfully we got, we got the quarterback fantasy points. That's what we were looking for, obviously. We'll talk about dart in a moment. First, I want to talk to you about BetMGM because if you, if you bet on your favorite player to score the first touchdown and then bam, his teammate scores instead, you could be a little frustrated. Yeah, it sucks. But if this happens, BETMGM wants to give you another chance at the end zone. With BetMGM's second chance promotion, you're going to get your stake back if your first touchdown scorer scores second instead. That's right. Bet on any pro football player to score the first touchdown of the game. And if you're right, you win. And if your player scores second, you get your stake back in cash. With BetMGM Second Chance offer, you have a chance to keep the fun going after the first player crosses the goal line. Try a first touchdown scorer wager with confidence today. Bet mgm make it legendary. Okay, we're going to do, I think a segment that Heath is just going to scoff at. Oh, he is gonna hate this segment. Quick backup running back inspired woriometer. Okay.
C
Oh, good. Kyron Williams is gonna be on it.
D
Go ahead.
A
He is? Yeah.
C
0 to 10 of 22 fantasy points.
A
0 to 10. Bijan Robinson, 0.
C
I. I'd put him at about an 8 on the Noya 1 oh meter, but 0 on the worry oh meter.
A
Heath, where would I be on the annoy o meter?
D
It's named after you.
C
We'd have to find a new scale because you would break it.
A
Well, okay, I was thinking. I was trying to set up that joke. What did you say Bijan was on the Wariometer? Zero. Okay, look, he's gonna lose some touchdowns to Alger. It's gonna happen. But it hasn't. I just want people to know it really hasn't been the case. Throughout the year, they've had very, very few carries as a team from that distance. So it's not like you say, oh, he's Algiers the goal line back. No, sometimes Bijan's there. All right, zero to 10 on Kyron Williams, who, yes, had a great game. 14 carries, 73 yards, and two touchdowns. But Blake Corum had 13 carries in the game, zero to 10.50. I'm gonna. I'm gonna go a little higher. I think it's just inherently bad that he's got a. A guy who's getting a lot of carries. I mean, it's. It's unusual and obviously, look, this is arguably the best offense in football, right? I mean, they're right up there. They have incredible efficiency. But there could be some weeks where it gets a little frustrating as you're going, hey, why is Blake Corum getting the goal. Getting some goal line work, which he did this week. And I don't know. I mean, look, if. If Kyron doesn't score, I'm just. Maybe. Maybe it is a sell, super high situation. I guess what I'm trying to say. Nobody.
C
No, that's the problem. That's the problem. As the. The founder and sponsor of the Kyron Williams Defender Club, also the Jalen Hurts Defender Club and several others, nobody ever thinks that Kyron Williams is actually good. No one's ever, like, excited to acquire him or get them on their team. And so I. I don't. He came into this game averaging 19 touches per game. How many touches he had? 17, 16, 16, 16. In another kind of blowout, runaway win.
A
What? In this environment, it's not great that he has Blake Corum with this big.
C
It seems pretty great.
A
It's.
D
It's going wonderful. 16.7 or more PPR points in four of his last five games.
A
I know.
D
And like 40 in his last two. And in the first half, he had. Hold on, hold on, hold on. 73 of the snaps.
A
No, I don't want to hear this. It had nothing to do with the score. I don't want to hear this. He was the one who was running out the clock. Blake Corum got a lot of work early in the second.
D
They still used Quorum a little bit more than usual, especially.
C
He was still fresh. He wasn't tired because he didn't have to do all the carries earlier.
A
All right, zero to ten. Jamie, did you get a haircut at like, a half hour ago?
B
No.
A
Look very Sharp. When was this haircut?
E
Yesterday.
B
Friday.
A
Friday. Okay. Look very sharp. Welcome, Jamie.
B
Thank you.
A
All right. Christian McCaffrey. Who? Kelly.
B
Kelly.
C
Yeah.
A
What's up, Kelly? Zero to ten on Christian McCaffrey on the question. On the. On the backup running back. Inspired worryometer.
B
Zero.
A
Okay, we'll move on.
C
Yeah, I'm gonna say zero. It was a great segment, Adam. And these Sunday shows, we're always looking for some extra segments we can do. So they're an hour and 45 minutes instead of an hour and 35. Yeah.
A
All right, listen, we got beyond the box score tomorrow and then I think three more times during the week. Got FFD, Dynasty, got all these great podcasts. Go to cbsports.com podcasts and see them all. College football, betting, podcasts, soccer. It's great stuff. News and notes. Jackson Dart left with a concussion. They get the packers next week. Giants have a very late buy, so that's. It's not like they have a buy anytime soon. They would buy a week 14, I think green Bay next week for the Giants. We'll see. And a lot of people are saying it should be Jameis Winston next week and not Russell Wilson. I could not agree more.
B
No, no, no, no, no, no. It's gonna be Russ. They got the memo. Lose games.
A
Nah, it's.
B
It's.
A
No, they're gonna have a new coach on.
D
They've done a lot of that with Dart anyway.
A
Yeah, they have a new coach.
C
You missed it. Jamie Azer is calling. Brian Dhle will not be employed by the New York Giants 24 hours from now.
A
Both. It's not that bold. Basically, Giants Twitter or whatever. I mean, there were. There were some rumblings that he's been pretty close to losing his job. I don't know if it's true, but he's. That's it. I just. Someone tweeted that he's. He's lost three games with a 90 plus percent win probability this year. It's insane.
B
He's doing his job.
A
That's so heath of you. He's not losing.
D
Why?
B
Explain to me. Listen, the players want to win. He obviously trying to save his job, but what. What good does the dude win those games?
A
That's. That. That's a different conversation. He's obviously. They're all trying to win. I mean, you could argue it's better for the franchise for them to lose, but they're trying to win. He's not doing his job. They're trying to win. He's doing his job.
B
They tell the punter, Shank the kick.
A
No, Jackson are.
B
You're not going back.
C
I mean, look, you'll be funny if you kick it with your ankle.
B
The last time when. When the season was still they had a chance to maybe be competitive. He ran into the tent and was ready to fight a trainer to get Jackson dart back on the field.
A
Yeah, well, now he's going. Now he's kicking field goals on fourth and goal for the half yard line. All right, Chris Rodriguez left with a shoulder injury. Terrell Jennings left with an injury in the first half that probably helped Travion. And Donovan Knight left with an ankle injury. Garrett Wilson, this, hopefully this isn't bad, but he left with a knee injury. That's the same injury that he had earlier. Same knee anyway. That he had an injury on earlier.
D
I don't think he played even 20 snaps in the game.
A
Yeah, well, they barely had the ball in the first half and he got hurt early in the third quarter. Some minor wide receiver news. Zay Jones. I don't want to. No, sorry. Zay Jones has an Achilles injury. That could be major news. I just meant for fantasy purposes. And Rashad Bateman has maybe a high ankle sprain. He was in a boot. He doesn't think he'll miss much time. They have Cleveland next week. And then there's Devonte Adams. I don't know. I didn't sense it was serious for Adams. Guys, we don't know, but he was on the sideline. It was a back issue. Keep our fingers crossed because huge game next week against the Seahawks, baby. Fired up for that.
B
Hey, that's the game of the week. Just be ready.
A
Yeah. On that subject, someone asked me what was the origin of the game of the week and I remember what the first game of the week was. And I've been scouring that week's episodes to find the original clip. I will try my best to find the original game of the week.
C
I thought the origin was you got banned from doing the bonanza because you run to so many good games. So you came up with a new name to call it.
A
And Heath, one of the clips I heard was me saying, oh, this is the game of the week. This was back in 2022 and you going, is this your new bonanza? So I'm trying to find. I think I just sort of impromptu hit that music and started singing the song. I remember the game and everything. And by the way, the game was 42 to 38. I nailed it. I haven't got it close since, but I'm trying to find the Clip Dalton Kincaid left with a hamstring injury and there were some off. Not really a lot of offensive line or defensive injuries. Thank goodness. Wasn't a bad week in that regard.
B
Well, I mean, the Lions got two scares, but they're fine. Yeah.
A
Oh, glam. Graham Glass.
B
No.
A
Came back.
B
Yes.
C
Okay.
A
That's good.
B
Seahawks center.
A
The Seahawks. Other was at the goal line when he got hurt. Yeah. Okay. All right. So not such a bad injury week, thankfully. Fingers crossed. We're going to take a break early. So I've been hosting my guest house on Airbnb for a while now, and it's honestly been super simple. People come through book a couple nights and it's just extra money I wasn't making before. But here's the part I didn't really think about at first. You don't have to just host a separate space. Like I've got a trip to Orlando coming up to play some golf, and while I'm out of town, my main place is just sitting there empty. Why not list that, too? It's already set up, I'm not using it. And it's such an easy way to cover some of the travel costs while I'm away. Maybe even a little extra for a box of Pro V1s or. Or some merch from the pro shop. That's what I like about Airbnb. You can make it fit your lifestyle, whether it's extra space or your own place while you're on vacation. Your home might be worth more than you think. Find out how much@airbnb.com host come to.

A
Okay. Just got an update on Devonte Adams. He has an oblique injury. Sean McVay thinks he probably could have come back in the game, so they are hoping it's not too bad. That is from Nate Atkins. Early waiver wire. I don't know. Nobody's really.
B
It is an amazing week for waiver wire quarterbacks. Absolutely amazing.
A
Yeah.
B
You have TUA against the Commanders. I know it's in Spain. You have Aaron Rodgers against the Bengals. You have Geno against the Cowboys. If Flacco is still out there, obviously you're going to pick up Flacco and use him. Mariota against the Dolphins.
A
Yeah.
C
It's a lot of names against a lot of bad defenses.
A
Yeah, you mean to a contra las cabadantes.
B
Here we go.
C
What about the. The number three wide receiver in fantasy.
A
This week, Parker Washington?
C
No, no. Jalen Naylor is currently the number three wide receiver in fantasy.
B
Yeah, you could chase that. Go ahead, Parker.
D
No, we should talk about him a little bit.
A
No, we shouldn't. Jalen Naylor.
D
Jalen Naylor last two weeks has had some good chemistry with McCarthy.
A
All right, well, we talked about.
D
Now, obviously the numbers weren't great last week. He didn't even have three fantasy points. But he's. He's on the radar. I'm not picking him up. No, I'm not picking him up. I'm just saying, like, I feel like he's been doing well with McCarthy. Better than Addison.
A
I didn't need to type this into the translator, but I'm gonna say no me gusta Jayla Naylor.
D
I'm not. Again, not saying to pick him up. Just saying to keep an eye on him. But we talked about him on Tuesday.
A
There you go. All right. That's a. I don't know. Well, I've been asking. I think Parker Washington is. He was number one of the top guys last week. He had a big game, a bigish game. Seen as of now, he's 43% rostered Darius Slayton. Let's see what Slayton's roster percentage. Oh well, if it starts out 44% so those guys could be available.
B
Not if it's James.
A
If it's Jamis, then yeah. All systems go. All right, let's talk about the winners and the losers. Davio, Trivon, Henderson we talked about. How about Woody Marks? Give me those snap counts for Woody Marks. Impressive stuff.
D
The snap counts for Woody marks were awesome. 78% of the snaps, 10 of 15 on third down, all four of their snaps inside the five. Houston still is using four running backs every week, but Chubb only played 14 of the snaps. A Gumbawale and Brooks combined for 10%. This was Woody Marks backfield and it was great and he was efficient running the football and had a great game overall. I am hoping that it keeps up for the Texans.
A
Let's hope so. They are at Tennessee next week so that could be good for Woody Marks. Jamie, so you always put your start of the week in this segment. I know it's a little weird to call Jackson Dart a winner with the concussion, but he did come through. I mean he was having a great game. 26.3 fantasy points in about three quarters and hopefully back for Green Bay if not at Detroit, at New England. Not easy stuff but it doesn't seem to matter with him. And then you also had Kate Otten as a winner.
B
I got to tell you I was so nervous with the weather that it was going to be a bad day for Dart and even for Caleb Williams too. And look, they did great things with their legs. Clearly this is another strong game for darts rushing totals. It's now Every start either 55 yards rushing or a touchdown in the case of today over that number for both. So. But I thought he threw the ball well. You know at one point he was I think 11 for 12 for 199 in the first half. He's just, he's a great fantasy quarterback. We'll see what you know, continues to, you know, go, go go for him, go well for him the rest of this season. But like you got to be thrilled as a dynasty manager. You got to be thrilled as a long term keeper league that what he can be with with Malik, Neighbors and whatever the coaching staff looks like next year. Like there's just a huge upside, huge future for this kid.
A
Cade Otten, 44, started 71 rostered. He had a 28 target share. That's higher than what we usually get from Kate Otten, but man did he come through nine catches, 82 yards on.
B
12 targets, still hasn't scored a touchdown yet so we'll see when when that starts to happen. But I mean look, as long as Mike Evans remains out, it's kind of been the the formula for him in the last and obviously Chris Godwin not coming back for the rest of this month most likely so he should continue to be heavily involved. It was good to see Tez Johnson get the two touchdowns. It was good to see him at Buka score and have a big game. So you know what the the past catch is going to be for this Bucks offense and the run game has really been struggling for them so defense has been struggling for them too. So we're going to get probably a lot of Baker Maker Baker Mayfield passing performances and that's going to benefit all three of those guys. But you know clearly K Dot now is in the must start conversation and.
D
At this position they're at Buffalo next week. Oh, you don't think that's gonna be a high scoring game?
A
Yeah, Buffalo's really good against so Buffalo's really good against tight ends though I.
B
Don'T care with him.
A
Okay, Matchup Proof Heath your winners Alvin Camara I'm actually surprised he was 55% started. Felt high to me. He's going into a buy but nice game for him. He got one chance near the goal line, then on the next play Taysum Hill was in. That's always going to be an issue. But tell me what you want to say about Alvin Camara. And then Juwan Jennings is only 69 rostered and he had six catches, 71 yards and a touchdown.
C
Yeah, I think for Camara like he was, I think most people would have rather dropped him than started him this week. The last two weeks had been absolutely abysmal. They seemed to be looking for anybody else to play at running back or to hand the ball off to than him and then they give him 22 carries and the offense looks functional and there's a chance that he makes it to one of the greatest schedule stretches of all times where he gets to play the Dolphins in Week 13 and then the Buccaneers which isn't so good, then the Panthers, the Jets and the Titans. So maybe Alvin Camara will be a guy you want to start at flex and I'm changing it up because we send in our winners and losers during the late games and I think I missed a note. But Dan Campbell confirmed after the game that he took over offensive play calling duty for this game and I don't know if you remember who the guy was this summer that just kept talking about the guy they had to get the ball more. Jameson Williams. Well, guess what. Jameson Williams led the team in catches and receiving yards. Dan Campbell's calling place. Jameson Williams big winner.
A
Oh, interesting.
D
You feel good about starting them, let's say next week?
C
Oh, I feel great if he's my number three.
D
Yeah, sure. @ Philadelphia, tough matchup shootout though. Probably a top 24 receiver.
B
Only got two teams on a buy. He's certainly closer. So I think Adam, we spoke about him, whatever it was Thursday or Friday you had said. I think we all had him like around 36, 37 range. I. I led my sleepers column with him. I moved him up to like wide receiver right behind the Cleo Secure spot. So I think he'll be in the top 30.
A
Yeah. I'm just wondering if we should be thinking more along the sell high lens with him because it was the commanders in the. I think. I think the Commanders are the worst past defense in football. I mean, they're right up there currently.
B
Yeah. Exist.
A
I. That that's how bad the commanders are. I mean, they might be worse, but it doesn't matter. I mean, they're obviously one of the worst, if not the worst.
C
So have we ever had three defenses that are just obvious this incredibly bad? Like the Cowboys, Bengals and Commanders? It's just like anybody that's playing against them. Start them.
B
Cowboys will be interesting to see moving forward now that they've potentially improved their run defense. The. I'm gonna put the jets in that category now because I know they didn't necessarily shut down the Browns, but they're gonna be bad. The Giants are there too. Yeah.
A
Well, not until the fourth quarter, but yeah. Okay. Jameson Williams let it ride. 63 started big game. I feel like it was mostly in the second half. Maybe I'm crazy.
D
Yes. No, you're right. A lot of it did come in the second half.
B
And they left. For what it's worth, they left him in with Kyle Allen.
D
Yeah. And whatever it's worth. Two games since the buy. 16.6, 23.9 ppr.
B
Just. I don't want to forget it. But you said about Camara, the schedule is the Dolphins run defense still a pushover because two of their last three they shut down Bijan Robinson and James Cook.
A
Not to be that guy. I feel like they haven't so much on a per carry basis. I'm not sure. I think it's been kind of like a low amount of carries. I could be wrong about that.
C
Cook was 4.1 today.
A
And what was Bijan? Whatever.
B
4.1 is bad for Cook, though. Yeah.
A
Bijan was terrible. Yeah. 9 for 25. So I apologize. 9 carries for 25. All right, so question worth asking. Also, I would point out with Camara, he had a horrible game against the Bears. He had a horrible game against the giants. He scored 11.2 fantasy points against Buffalo. He has.
C
I'm not saying that I want to start him. I'm just saying, like, I was just actively searching for any backup running back I could rank ahead of him this week.
A
Yeah.
C
Because I didn't want to start him.
A
I get it.
C
And you got to feel a little better about him now.
B
No, no, I'm not just. When you said the Miami matchup, it just stuck out to me. Like they've potentially turned a corner to some degree.
D
If he had stunk again this week, we would have talked about cutting him before the buy, right? We're going into the buy. Yeah. Now, I don't think you. I don't think he's a slam dunk cut.
B
No. Anybody would have picked him up if they saw him on waivers, too.
A
All right, losers.
D
You would have been okay with that if he had scored two points today and had five touches or whatever.
B
I don't know. I. I went through some leagues and picked up Isaiah Pacheco just because, like, just to see.
C
I know that name.
A
Yeah.
D
Just because you want to torture yourself.
A
You know what? Jamie once bought a couch from me. Now he's getting.
D
Talk about the couch.
A
All right, losers. Heath, Kyle Pitts and DJ Moore. He talked about DJ Moore, Kyle Pitts. Oh, he was open. Pennix wide open. Dude, you under threw him. Was a touchdown.
D
Come on.
C
Yeah. I don't think Michael Phoenix is very good amongst other quarterbacks Thomas may or not have been ranting about earlier, but no, just a really disappointing game to have 5.8 points and get out targeted by Darnell Mooney. And we really kind of. As much as Drake London dominates this passing game, and as much as they want to run the football, I think we need Pitts to be the clear number two in Atlanta to be a clear fantasy starter.
B
I think when you go back and watch this, it happened last week. They're using him a little bit more as an inline tight end again.
A
Oh, I don't like that.
B
Yep.
A
So actually, no. Well, that's not 100 true for me because I think he was being used out wide too much in previous seasons. So they did put him in line, you know, in Line, like on the line of scrimmage. Basically more this year than in the past. They shortened his adot quite a bit. This. I can only remember two targets this game. I know he had five or four or five. One was the deep ball that was under thrown. One was the ball he dropped right at the beginning of the game. Yeah. So he didn't get his typical really short area, easy catch, easy ppr, cheap points targets today. But I think the. The issue for me, it was such a good matchup. The Colts were so bad against tight ends and. And the Falcons are really good against tight ends and look what happened. Warren had an amazing game. Not that that. Not that we were sitting Warren. All right, Jamie, your losers are James Cook and Rashad White.
B
I think he's a bad game for Cook. You know, I. The only thing I'm concerned about is, you know, we had the injury concern coming into the week. Is he 100% this? I think everybody thought it should be a layup. If there's an encouraging thing, it's the five for 24. You get them more involved in the passing game. So there's a buy low opportunity here if somebody is upset about James Cook and wants to sell him because of this bad game. But you know, just really at some. Sometimes we got to highlight the stars when they struggle and this was just a bad game for him. In the case of Rashad White, you know, you expected him to struggle on the ground. I was expecting a much better game in the passing, much more involved in the passing game. So the five cats is nice. 16 yards is terrible. Like the Patriots have been so bad against past catching running backs the last month and for him to be. To hit, for him to get five catches and only get 16 yards was just very, very frustrating. So Sean Tucker is going to be a problem for him until Bucky Urban comes back. I think they're going to use both guys. So we went from potentially, hey, here's the lottery ticket because Bucky Irving's out to now. It's a mess.
D
It's the second game in a row for Tampa where Tucker was near Rashad in terms of carries but not playing time. Rashad White still dominated the playing time. 71 of the snaps, dominated third down, two or three snaps inside the 10. But you just watch these guys play and you can see that one is just clearly more explosive than the other. Tucker had a number of good runs today, and you just wonder if Tampa, if they make the switch and they lean on Tucker more on the running downs and White more on the passing downs instead of putting so much on White. I would be nervous about Rashad White.
C
Moving forward for sure.
B
It could all be for not if Bucky comes back next week.
D
But yeah, but we don't know when that's happening.
B
We've got no indication that that's going to happen. You're coming up by the fact that he hasn't practiced is not great. Yeah.
A
All right. All right, Dave, your losers were Jordan Addison, who actually had 11 targets, three I know three catches for 35 yards and Daniel Jones who scored 17.5 fantasy points in an overtime win against Atlanta.
D
Well, I'll start with Jones is the second week in a row where pressure really impacted him. Three fumbles, one loss. He had an interception at the end of the first half. I don't know if that's really that big of a deal but here's the problem for fantasy managers. He's got a buy this week then he's at Kansas City and versus Houston and I don't know if I'm ready to start. Daniel Jones is confidently in those games as I might have before two weeks ago. He's got Seattle a couple weeks after that. I'm going to need a quarterback anyway just to get through this week. If Daniel Jones has been my starter, it might need to be somebody who I depend on for a while because I'm not sure if I'm ready to go right back to Daniel Jones after the buy just assuming that he's going to work all these things out.
C
Since you brought him up. This was going to be my Colts, Falcons, believe it or not. So Daniel Jones is droppable.
D
I think in smaller leagues. He absolutely is. It's the 12 team leagues. I think. I still want to try to carry him but it depends if my bench is great. I'll drop Daniel Jones to get a quarterback who I think I can start rest of season or another position.
A
I mean that's. He could be one of two quarterback you could have. There's so many good quarterbacks right now. Only thing I'll say is there's another team that is looking like just an amazing matchup for quarterbacks and that's Jacksonville. Guys are killing Jacksonville. Matthew Stafford 37.4, Geno Smith 34.3. Davis was about 30 points today and Daniel Jones has them twice before the season's over including I believe in the fantasy championship. So that's just something to keep in mind. And Addison? Yeah. What do you think?
D
And a little bit of J.J. mcCarthy with Addison. Although more people were starting Addison McCarthy, 11 targets. You love that. I didn't like all the off Target throws from McCarthy, not just to Addison, but throughout the game. Addison had five of his targets in the fourth quarter, only caught one of them. I thought McCarthy had taken a step forward last week and he started this game strong too. He overthrew Justin Jefferson on deep balls twice for interceptions. Jefferson slipped on one of them. He missed Jefferson a bunch deep today and between those targets. And then the big play late by Jalen Naylor, who I thought looked good with McCarthy the last couple weeks. It's just more so this week than last week. I don't know how good I can feel about starting Addison as a high end. Flex. We've already talked about Jameson Williams, how he's gotten more involved over the last two weeks. That's an easy guy to start ahead of Jordan Addison and then the last point on Addison. His best games came when Carson Wentz was quarterback and now here we are. One of the biggest words we had about McCarthy was he doesn't throw a lot. Well, he had a ton of attempts in this game. Over 40 and still not really a great game for Jefferson or Addison in the matchup because McCarthy himself stunk. So there's a lot of variables here that make me nervous. Even start Justin Jefferson. I'm gonna keep starting Justin Jefferson and I told you I'll keep an eye on Jaylen Naylor, maybe the deepest of leagues. I would consider putting him on a bench, but Addison's the one that I'm not sure I'm ready to go back to as a flex next week.
A
Weeks 14, 15 and 16 for Minnesota, Washington at Dallas at the Giants. You know, it's enticing. Personally, I don't think the Giants are anywhere near Washington and Dallas in terms of that passing matchup. But not when they're healthy. Not when they're healthy. And yeah, not New York and.
B
Right.
A
And it's. And those teams right now are 28th, 31st and 27th against court against wide receivers. All right, well, this is, this is.
B
A very interesting week for McCarthy because he's getting the Bears at home and the Bears are not a very good defense right now. So, you know, are we going to see the three games that McCarthy had prior to today where he was under 28 past times in all three of those or we're going to see him throw 42 times like he did today and I would probably say we're going to see closer to under 30 at least. And so I didn't like Addison coming into this game because of the volume potential, because that's what we've, I think, seen enough of with what O' Connell wanted to do with, to do with McCarthy. And I didn't think McCarthy played particularly great last week. And he's very jumpy in the pocket and you saw that on the deep balls. Like he doesn't set his feet. He's jumping on throws and he did today. Yeah, and, and that I don't know if that'll be an issue next week because the pressure won't be as much of a problem for him.
D
Aaron Jones deserves credit as a winner. I don't know if you talked about him at the start of the show, Adam, but he's, he's playing a lot more in Jordan Mason. He's looking great. As long as he's healthy, that's a must start running back. And the Vikings could end up using him a lot against Chicago.
A
Okay, let's take a break and we'll give you the goal line work, the almost touchdowns and a recap of each game. By the way, there was one running back injury that I forgot about. It was J.K. dobbins. J.K. dobbins has this foot injury. That game was Thursday, obviously, but that's going to be potentially pretty impactful. We'll see what the scenario is there. But yeah, I just want to bring that up.
B
I get the, the Trevion Harvey league winners to close the season, potentially.
D
I know.
A
All right, we'll be right back.

Let's get ready to go, guys. By now you've heard me talk about Collars and company, makers of the Dress Collar Polo. They've already sold over a million of these amazing shirts. Well, Collars and Co just came out with the new Maverick Performance Blazer. This blazer is sharp and wrinkle resistant so you can travel anywhere with it. Just throw it in your bag and it will remain wrinkle free. It even comes with security zip pockets, a sunglasses loop, and an optional pocket Square. So visit collarsandco.com and use code TIKI for 20% off@collarsandco.com all right, big goal line stuff. If I had a guess, I'm going to say Devin Singletary is probably more likely to be working at the goal line than Tracy.
D
Yep, was that way today too.
A
Yep. I mentioned Camara got one chance from the two yard line. Then Taysom Hill came in. So Justice Hill had a one yard touchdown run. They went hurry up there. So he'll benefited and fantasy managers did not.
B
What about the one play with Mark Andrews lining up a quarterback and flipping it to Lamar Jackson?
D
That was fun.
A
Oh, I didn't even see that.
C
It wasn't a great flip or a great pitch but not a great mark on it.
A
Yeah, Seattle. So Ken Walker. It seems like the three yard line. Ken Walker owns the three yard line but once they get to the one it's Zach Charbonnet territory. So he better score when he gets those carries from the three yard line. I think that's three of them in the last two games. Rams use both of their guys near the goal line. I sat there charting the Patriots at the goal line. Trayvon Henderson, he's in. He's getting this way. I didn't realize that Terrell Jennings had left the game at that point, so. And then Bam Knight again. It seemed like Bam Knight got hurt, but it seems like DeMarcado might get more touches. Might actually. I don't even think that was the case this game. But Bam Knight is in there near the goal line. Short yardage. Almost touchdowns. I don't know if I really want to go through all this, but I guess the biggest ones would be the Bears. I mean, Caleb Williams had a Few almost touchdowns early in the game. Trey McBride had a huge game, but he had a touchdown call back. Michael Pennix under through Kyle Pitts drove me crazy. All right, that's it. Let's go to the games.
D
Jacoby had one called back.
A
Jacoby had. Oh, that's right. And then Washington caught a touchdown two plays later. That's. I knew I had that. Yeah, it's false start called back that penalty.
B
Right.
D
All right.
A
Indianapolis 21, Atlanta 16.
C
We've talked a lot about this game already, but since they're both guys who could be on the fringe going into buys, Alec Pierce should be rostered in more leagues than Josh Downs.
D
What'd you say the final score of this game was?
A
Didn't sound right when I said it.
C
3125.
D
That's the final score.
A
2116. I was like, that's all the points they scored went to overtime and Taylor scored three touchdowns.
D
They're hard to win by five in overtime.
A
Is there a. Is there a game that had that score? 2116. As soon as I said it. All right, say it again, Heath.
C
Alec Pierce should be rostered in more leagues than Josh Jones, and he's not currently.
B
Sure.
D
Yeah, I'll believe it. Okay.
A
Should we hold?
D
We should. I think we need to sort of talk about what our hesitation is with Alec Pierce. And it's just season after season of occasional big plays helping him have good weeks and then like long valleys of him getting 2 for 20 or 3 for 17. And just now as he's starting to finally break out in a way where fantasy managers want to trust him. And so I. I have some trust issues with him. I like the talent, but it's. I don't know if I'm racing to start him. I don't think I can call him a mustard guy.
B
Well, I think when you put him in the same category as for whatever you think of these guys, but Tez Johnson, Darius Slayton.
D
Yeah, right.
B
Jamo. You want to put him there? Yeah. I was going to say, like, you know what we've seen from two or three games of. Of DK and two or three games of IO Manor and maybe now Xavier Worthy. Like these guys are just not consistent but have the chance to make big plays or not. The. The thing for Pierce is it almost as it coincides when jot. When Josh Downs had the concussion three of his last four games. He's been very good and so can it be sustainable? So to Heaths, believe it or not, like, is this now where we're moving the, you know, the needle is moving more toward Pearson away from Downs, and that's hard to say after Downs has scored two touchdowns each the last two weeks. So I think it's just going to be inconsistent for probably both those guys. But if you're looking for who has more upside, I think Pierce definitely has more upside.
A
We're playing who has.
D
Believe it or not. I'm sorry, go ahead.
A
Oh, no, I was saying we're playing who has more. Who has more upgrade.
C
Yeah.
D
Believe it or not, Alec Pierce is going to get seven targets most weeks like he has in three of his last four. Because if you're going to tell, if you're going to believe that, then he's more than just one of these roulette wheel wide receivers. He's someone that you can probably start as a low end number two.
B
Well, I mean, I, I think Slayton is in that category, I think. Oh, yeah, yeah.
D
I agree. But I kind of like him better than most of the names you said.
B
I, I don't. I, you know, I think it probably comes down to week to week basis and we just got through saying how bad the short term schedule is for the Colts. Plus they're on a buy. I, I just think in the case of the Colts right now, they don't have DeForest Buckner for at least the next three games. And while Sauce Gardner improves the secondary, like their defense could be bad and so we could see more shootouts coming for the cold.
A
Okay. By the way, Adam Sauce Gardener.
B
Yeah.
A
I mean, I wouldn't really say he shadowed Drake. London. They did. Like Dave kind of mentioned earlier that they moved London into the slot enough to get Sauce off of him. And on the other side, A.J. terrell, if you're wondering what happened to Michael Pittman, I think it was just a bad game. He was not an AJ Terrell thing. He was definitely not shadowing him. So just, just kind of one of those games, I think, for Pittman. All right. And on over to our next game. Baltimore 27, Minnesota 19.
C
Zay Flowers is just a low end wide receiver too. And we have to stop ranking him so high.
B
I don't believe it. He's a wide receiver. Three. Wow.
D
Yeah. He's definitely not that top 15 receiver that we thought he'd be. He'll have, he'll have another big game at some point along the way.
A
You know, I've thought a lot about this because we talk about him a lot and we argue a little bit about him and I get your argument. It's like this keeps happening to Zay Flowers. He's having productive games, but he never scores. But there has to be some touchdown regression coming eventually. He's got it in what year? But even he's got it. If he ends up with four, what does he have now? One.
C
Right.
A
Right. Is he going to have a two touchdown season?
B
I can't.
A
They throw enough touchdowns where I just. At least Lamar does. Where I feel like he could have three touchdowns over his last seven games. Whatever's left. And that would, that would be important, impactful.
B
I mean, look in, in ppr, he's probably right. He's more, more of a low end, number two receiver. I, I don't. Nobody's benching him in three receiver leagues for sure. And in two receiver leagues, it probably depends on who you have. In non ppr, It's. It's hard to say. He's a must start guy by any stretch. And in half PPR is a borderline starter.
A
Well, who's more valuable in full ppr? Because I think it's easier in the other formats. Derek Henry or Zay Flowers?
B
I'm starting Henry. Almost.
D
Yeah.
B
10 out of 10 over Zay flowers.
A
It's getting a little frustrating with Derrick Henry though.
C
I guess the disappointing game from Flowers today was better than Henry.
A
Yeah. I mean Henry obviously doesn't really care.
D
Sure.
A
But that, that Justice Hill touchdown was a real kick in the gut.
B
Yeah. Dave, Derek Henry was not happy at halftime.
A
By the way, would you take Drake London over Justin Jefferson rest of season?
C
Yes.
D
Yep.
B
Yeah.
A
Would you take Nico Collins over Justin Jefferson?
B
Is Davis Mills a starter?
A
No.
C
Nor do.
A
Are they playing Jacksonville every week?
B
Yeah, but they're playing Tennessee this week, so yes, I would take Nico Collins over Justin.
A
I think I would take rest of season. Yes. Oh, interesting.
C
I'm not quite there.
A
Yeah, I'll take Jefferson. It's two on two.
B
All right.
A
Miami 30. Buff. Let me make sure the score is here. Miami 30, Buffalo 13. Nailed it.
D
Got it.
C
Good job. What a weird game. I mean, it's not fair to make a team play a game right after their Super Bowl.
A
I don't.
C
I'm glad you liked that, Adam.
A
That's excellent.
C
Does somebody have a good one for this one?
A
Oh, yeah. Believe it or not, Keon Coleman is back now. Believe it or not, I don't have a good one.
B
Believe it or not, HN is the number one running back in fantasy wrestling season. No.
C
If he'd been number one this week, it would be a better one.
A
Believe it or Not Khalil. Shakir is worse than Zay Flowers rest of season.
B
I mean, okay, so to heat Henry versus Flowers better than him today.
A
Would you rather have Flowers or here?
B
I mean, flowers has more upside, but Shakira just continues to do what he does. It's wide receiver 30.
D
Yeah.
B
His neighborhood is perfect.
D
Believe it or not, Tua is a startable fantasy quarterback. For the next three games, they have Washington. Then who at Washington? By New Orleans, at the Jets.
B
Oh, yeah.
D
And then Cincinnati in Week 16. Could this be a quarterback that you pivot to to start replacing Daniel Jones? You'll. You'll have a conundrum in two weeks, but at least one week you'll be good.
B
They had. They had every opportunity to quit on Mike McDaniel, and they won their super bowl today.
A
Yeah, I was a big win thing. I think they lost seven in a row. I'd like to see where Jalen Waddle ranks since week five. That was his first game.
C
I got it. I got you.
A
Yeah. Where does he rank since. Since the Tyree Kill injury. Tyree Kill got hurt in week four.
C
Per game?
A
Per game.
C
He's averaged 16 fantasy points per game, including week five.
A
Yeah.
C
Which is wide receiver 15.
A
That's great because, you know, we were pretty high on him after that injury, and it doesn't always work out, and this team's a total mess, but they still give us a Chan and Waddle pretty much every week. All right, New England 28, Tampa Bay 23.
C
I think probably the. The thing that we don't know, but I'm gonna make everybody answer. Believe it or not, Travion Henderson took the starting job away from Ramondre Stevenson today.
B
Believe it.
D
I don't believe it.
A
I actually don't. Jamie, why do you believe it?
B
Well, I mean, the starting job is irrelevant. Like, who gets the first carry is meaningless. Who's going to get more touches? Rest of season, it's going to be Trivan Henderson.
A
Rest of season when Steven Stevenson comes back.
B
This was a very good run defense prior to the start of this game.
A
All right, Dave, why don't you believe it?
D
Well, I just think Ramadres is going to continue to be the token starter, but it's going to be close in terms of carries from which we. Jamie's right. It doesn't matter who starts each game, but I think it'll be close in carries. I don't think it'll be close in carries inside the five. I think that's still going to be Ramandre's territory. And this was an example of a game where Travion was open in the flats a lot. And I thought Drake May was going to check down a lot and he didn't. Drake May just kept attacking downfield and that just might have been an edict in the game or his guys were getting open. May obviously had a pretty good game for fantasy managers, but there will be future games. We saw one last week for Trayvon where he made an impact catching the ball out of the backfield.
B
I.
D
They've got to just find ways to use them in space and get them the ball closer to the tackles and outside of the tackle box. And when they do that, they're going to have more games like this. And so Henderson isn't going to be a feature back where he's got whatever I said 70 some odd percent of the snaps when. When Ramadre is back. But he's still going to be pretty good.
A
I think you could argue that Trayvon Henderson could be a league winner or Trayvon Henderson is the best sell high in fantasy.
C
You know the guy I kept thinking of today, and I hate to say it because of the turn it's taken for him this year, but it was Ken Walker.
A
As in. As in he'll. He'll. No matter how good he is, he's still going to have the Charbonnet to. To him.
C
Not just that, but he had 14 carries. Two of them went for 124 yards. 12 of them went for 23 yards.
A
Yeah, a lot of them were one two negative. I looked at all at the yardage. For every one of his carries you were 100.
D
And how many of them were between the tackles? I would imagine it was a bunch of them.
C
Well, one of the big ones was.
D
Yeah, sure, that's true too.
A
That's.
D
I remember that play because he like kind of like paused for like a split second after he ran through the hole and like realized no one's touching him and off he went. He hit the gas. Awesome speed. I. I do think it'll be close between him and Ramadre from week to week. More upside, would you.
A
Would you? More of a sell or a hold for Vermont for Travion.
D
I wouldn't trade Travion away unless someone's going to give me a lot for him. Not like a huge amount. We'd have to gauge that somehow. But high end RB2 value at minimum in trade is whatever.
C
Center swift, rest of season.
D
I'd rather have Swift.
B
Swift. Yeah.
A
Okay.
D
But I don't think Swift is a high end. Number two running back rest of season I think he's better than that.
A
Interesting. All right so what about let's say. What about Tez Johnson? Is this just. Let's just ride this out.
C
I mean he didn't have probably if you could sell him for a. A definite starter I think that would be a really good move.
B
Okay.
A
He had two touchdowns today only five targets Baker Mayfield through 43 passes. All right. Stefan Diggs 70 started came through wasn't. Wasn't necessarily pretty but he caught the touchdown and. Right. I think that's it for that game. Let's go to Chicago and the Giants. Chicago 24, Giants 20 the only thing.
C
Dumber than Adam's backup running back Warriometer was the fact that he didn't include DeAndre Swift on it.
A
Yes. Yeah good call. I didn't include Ken Walker because I don't even know who the backup is there technically no but this was.
D
He might be the backup.
C
I was surprised because Ben Johnson said we're going to go with the hot hand approach and if you look at the touches Henderson did have a lot more touches but even in the second half after Swift have been much better than Manang guy it was right back to every other drive.
B
Look great in the first half.
D
Yep sure. So what was I looked good on.
C
One drive I, I don't think Swift is better than a high end RB2 because I don't think he's going to be a 70 snaps guy he wasn't.
D
Today 61 there you go.
A
Well it's interesting. Yeah Manangai you think this kind of still has an important role?
C
Unfortunately yeah.
D
I don't know. This was a game the Bears were playing from behind in the second half they were down 10 so I, I don't have the second half splits but I would imagine Swift played more he had five catches he had eight targets.
C
But he was almost as bad on his catches actually he's worse on his targets than Rashad White was.
D
Sure. But it's still five catches and eight targets that Kyle Manangai is not getting. Manangai had one target zero catches and he had way more care so this is the biggest discrepancy in touches between these two running backs in their last three games together so I, I still think that Swift is the preferred back here and I could see him being better than Manangai game after game after game as long as they're together it's going to take matchups where you just feel like going in the Bears are going to blow out their opponent where you can feel confident starting Manangai and I do think I don't know if Swift is a low end RB one can we can I middle it how.
C
Can it be better than high end RB2 and not be alone?
D
I don't know. Maybe I got a little too excited over Swift but I do think that he's let's call it top 15 maybe like exactly 12.
A
Okay real quick on the Giant side Theo Johnson had a good. You know what I think let's just pause on the Giants because we got to see if dart. You know let's assume Dart misses believe.
C
It or not like that play lost them the game and his playing style is going to change because of it.
A
Well, I don't think it will that much. I mean maybe a little but he just can't. He just doesn't have right now he's not Josh Allen. I mean I read an article about him before his first start where his high school coach said something like I tried good luck in regards to him changing his he's just a madman out there and a lot of it is good but he just goes too far. All right, let's go to I shouldn't say that look, everybody can change. You just got to start sliding a little bit more. I think he was trying to slide and whatever. All right New Orleans, you think he.
D
Runs as much if he's got a better receiving core?
A
Probably Not New Orleans 17, Carolina 7Believe it or not Chris Olave is a almost as good as jalen waddle top 15 wide receiver rest of season believe.
C
It do not.
D
I. I don't quite believe it but I It's close man he's. He's good Love the one handed grabby had he's very.
A
I don't.
C
I I want to clarify I think talent wise. Yes I think scoring fantasy points the rest of the season wise.
A
No who would you rather have Romo Dunze or Chris Olave?
B
Oh dunesay because it was quarterback but I mean I don't know what more of it has to do based on his body work this season.
A
Okay.
D
14 plus PPR points in four of his last five games if we don't hold week nine against him I think we're putting them ahead of Odun's a rest of season and and we shouldn't hold weeknight against the Dunes either He had a dud. He had a donut.
A
I'll hold it against both of them.
D
You go ahead Olave has been better he's been better Right hand one and.
B
Your left hand on the Other like you're holding against him.
A
Are we going to be starting Teddy McMillan anymore?
B
Yes.
A
Why not? Fire them up? 58 started five catches for 60 yards on eight targets.
B
I'm gonna guess his start percentage probably a little lower because the injury concern coming in. Maybe.
C
And I don't think we generally bench guys over 11 point games.
D
Nope. But I don't think you can look at them and pencil them in for 15 plus. Like he's not the surefire number two.
B
He's Dave Flowers. The same thing I'd rather have say.
A
Okay, and let's go to our next game. Houston 36, Jacksonville 29.
C
Believe it or not, Jacoby Myers will be the number one wide receiver after a full week of practice with Jacksonville.
B
Don't believe it.
D
Yeah, I don't believe it either. But in time he. I don't know if I can even believe it in like two weeks or three weeks from now because BTJ will be back and it could just be like a messy split where no one gets more than six targets a game.
B
Strange coming back next week. Yeah.
D
So yeah, strange could come back. That's gonna water it down even more. It'll be good for Jacksonville's offense. It'll be bad for fantasy.
C
Adam, who had more.
A
Oh, please.
C
Catches? Jacoby Myers or Parker Washington?
A
I think it was a tie Yards.
C
Jacoby Myers or Parker Washington.
A
Oh, it was Myers.
C
Yeah.
A
Did you just do.
B
Who has more with a tie?
A
Yeah, he did. I love it.
B
It's very much in the spirit, mother. Yeah.
A
Anyway, who had more punt returns for a touchdown, tough guy? Jacoby Myers only ran in Adam Azer leagues.
C
You wouldn't even get points for that in Jamie Lee's.
A
You don't get points for that. And I agree. You shouldn't get points for that.
C
You should 100 points for any touchdown your player scores.
A
Oh, okay. But not the yards. Not the yards.
C
Well, I think you should for the yards too. And some of my league should do well.
A
I don't know.
D
Why do we start a DST unit? Doesn't the ST and the DST get credit for the st?
A
Thank you, Dave.
B
You're welcome. Thank you.
A
You're the best.
C
I started.
B
You had. About the Texans with their defense going into the game, about Never miss playoffs.
A
Oh, yeah, they. They were number one in the NFL in, I want to say points per game in yards. It was two categories and no team has ever led the NFL in both of those and either A finished below.500 or B missed the playoffs.
B
I think if they lost this game Today, that was a definite.
A
They would have missed the playoffs.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
Nico with a big game. That was great.
B
We talked about Woody Marks, the Jaguars in his career.
A
Who Nico.
B
Huh?
A
Nico does.
B
Yeah. Destroys him.
A
That's why I'm taking Jefferson over Nico rest of season. Dalton Schultz, 7 for 53 and a touchdown on 11 targets.
B
I guess.
A
Can you take anything away from this game considering they're gonna have a new quarterback next week?
C
Most likely any through 45 passes.
A
Yeah.
B
I mean, I don't expect the Texans to give up 29 points consistently. They're not going to give up 29 points next week against the Titans, so they probably will not have to throw as much. But I mean, look, you. You want to be excited about Woody Marks, clearly. I think you want to be encouraged by Nico Collins and what he's able to still produce and show us that he's got that alpha type production in him. And look, Dalton Schultz has been good except every game away when we hype him up.
A
So yeah.
B
Just play, play next week.
A
All right. Jets 27, Browns 20. Last game of the early window here. Jerry Judy is back.
C
No, no, I'm just joking. I wasn't doing that. Brie Soul's the top 15 running back rest season.
B
Believe it.
A
Yeah, this is really impressive. I was very worried about him. He has not been good in bad matchups and a lot of his production was on one catch. It was the only. He was the only player with more than, I think four receiving yards for the Jets. They had one of the strangest stat lines you'll ever see. He had 42 yards and a touchdown. Justin Fields threw for 54 yards and they won. It was crazy.
D
Okay, okay. He is Heath.
C
He is Breeze hall or Deandre Swift.
B
Dave.
D
I think people will be able to get more for Swift than Hall.
C
No, I'm just saying. Who else?
D
Leave it in the comments. Leave it in the comments. Who would you rather have last the rest of season, Breeze or Swift?
A
I like that. Leave that in the comments. Good idea. I think it's a great question. Breeze hall, upcoming schedule is Patriots, Ravens, Falcons, not that easy. Dolphins, Jaguars, Saints, Patriots. Some. Some easy, some difficult in there. Okay. But in Siri, in all seriousness, or would you guys put claims in for Jerry Judy if he were on the waiver wire?
D
Deeper league? Sure.
B
I mean, they get Baltimore this week.
C
No, I had to start him in a league this week.
A
Nice.
B
So did I. Fish ball. Nice.
A
One thing that's not nice is David Najoku's route participation. Got to keep an eye on this three games in a row where it's been around 50%. One of those games he left with an injury, I think. But if they're phasing him out, that's. That's a pretty big deal and we need to move on from him if that's the case. Rams 42, San Francisco 26 the game of the week did not really live up to it. Good for fantasy. Not so much for watching football.
C
Juwan Jennings the top 24 wide receiver.
D
Rest of season, you mean?
C
Yep.
D
Yeah, I don't believe that.
B
I don't believe it either. Because Pierce hall will be back.
D
Maybe.
C
I'm not sure about that part.
A
I think what I've. What I'm, you know, coming around to is just this, that. Well, we'll reassess if and when Pierce hall gets back. But if we find a game where we think the 49ers are going to be throwing a lot, Mac Jones or whoever their quarterback is, and Juwan Jennings are starts. Right. And sure, that's simple.
D
At Arizona, Carolina at home at Cleveland. No buy, no where. Where's the game where they're going to be throwing a lot.
A
Maybe Arizona might be, but it's not. It's not as enticing as the Rams matchup.
D
He'll be a top 24 receiver next week if Pearsall isn't back, but he'll be like right at 24 and he. To answer your question, it's brief over swift, but it's close.
C
Okay.
B
We had a. A streak snapped today.
A
What was that?
D
Oh, I know, I know. The streak.
A
What was it?
B
You say I said it every week. It ended.
A
I don't know what was it.
D
And it was by a backup running back, in fact.
A
Oh, did it. Someone scored a touchdown against the Brian Robinson touchdown against the Rams. That's right. First one for running back all year.
C
And we had the first running back go over 50 yards against the Patriots and it was a backup running back.
B
There is one streak that's still alive in the NFL, so there are many. But there's one that I know.
D
We.
C
Have to guess the one Jimmy's thinking of.
B
Yes, it is. It is another zero. There's one team that has posted a zero in a category as the Falcons.
C
Have not given a touchdown to a tight end.
A
Tight end touchdown.
B
No. Well, that probably is true, but that's not the one. Wrong, it is.
D
The.
B
The jets have not got an interception yet this season.
A
Oh, wow. And did Justin Fields throw his first pick of the year today?
C
He did.
B
All right.
C
Another streak ended.
A
Congratulations, Justin Fields. Okay, to the next game. Detroit 44, Washington 22.
C
If Chris Rodriguez is out, we're gonna have to consider starting Bill again. No, they play the Dolphins.
B
No.
A
No, that's a good question.
C
It's a good question.
D
Might need a running back to replace Jonathan Taylor. What better way to replace one of the best running backs in the National Football League than with. I don't know if I could even finish the sentence. It's so bad. No, I would not want to start Grosky merit. Even against Miami.
A
I'm gonna give Jamie the win. I don't know who Heath's favorite was, but on the waiver wire show. Jamie like Mariota this week. I like penix. Dave liked McCarthy. Jamie gets the win there.
C
I like. I liked Mac Jones.
A
Heath gets the win.
C
I wasn't on the show. I don't get the win.
A
No, you don't get the win, but you get the participation trope. No, you don't get it because you didn't participate.
C
I didn't participate either.
B
It's just what Mariota does. Like we're gonna get. I mean, look, Jacobi Brissette. Another good performance despite some turnovers. You know these guys that just fall into production sometimes.
A
And are you feeling any more or less confident about Debo Samuel, who had five targets, but he had four catches for 29 big yards and a touchdown?
B
Less.
D
He's a number three receiver at best. At best. Absolute best.
A
Would you rather have Debo Samuel or Jameson Williams? Rest of season, Jameson Wings.
D
Agreed?
C
Yeah, I think probably so. It's got the Dolphins, who are the best team in the world against wide receivers than a buy then the Broncos. So doesn't look great for debo.
A
Okay. Seattle 44, Arizona 22.
B
Man.
C
Hurry back, Trey Benson.
A
We have a question before you go.
D
Yeah.
A
Which two teams, which two games had the same exact final score?
C
Seattle and Arizona and Detroit and Washington.
A
Yeah. You win.
D
Wait, are you sure that's right, Adam? Yes.
A
I had a double check, but yes.
C
A lot of people have won games with Adam and then found out they lost afterwards.
A
That's. That. That's probably true. What do you got for this one?
C
Like Rashid, Jahid's not going to be near as big of a factor in Seattle as we thought.
D
I don't believe.
A
Pump the brakes. How many past attempts did we have here? 11? 12. 12. 12.
C
And you know what? Sam Darnold learned that because he tried as hard as he could to let let Arizona back in the game.
B
Why were they throwing so Much at the end of. Or trying to throw at the end, at least not throwing so much, but trying to throw.
A
It's pretty crazy. You don't see stat lines like this very often. 10 for 12, 178 yards, one touchdown.
D
One interception and two fumbles lost.
A
Yeah. Only seven fantasy points for Sam Darnold.
B
After the first drive, I said to. I think I was just sitting with Pete Prisco, maybe Jack Capitorto in, in our quote unquote green room. Like Darnold's the MVP right now.
A
Right.
B
And I was like, yeah, I guess so.
A
It's a good, it's a good race. Who's the leader right now? Is it May?
B
Stafford.
A
Oh, Stafford.
B
Yeah.
A
Well, Dropper, by the way, Heath, are we just going to be patient and see, you know, what next week looks like with the Seahawks? To answer your question.
C
Yeah, I think probably just need to be patient. I believe it or not, Zach Sharpen is the best Seahawks running back rest of the season.
B
Believe it. Fantasy wise, I don't think NFL wise, but fantasy wise, he gets, he gets the. Again, Ken Walker's a trap back. It sucks.
A
Oh, Thomas Schaefer wants to vote for Jonathan Taylor for mvp.
B
I, I don't think that's a bad vote, but it'd be very difficult for him to win it without probably a 2000 yard season and leading the league in touchdowns. And he could do both.
D
Yeah, I mean, he's halfway there for the yardage.
B
But if, if Stafford and The Rams get the 1 seed in the NFC and this is a huge week for them, I think it would go to him.
A
All right, so obviously we know how frustrating.
B
Who's the best team in the NFL right now?
A
Eagles. I think that's a little controversial, but Eagles.
B
Well, you can make case with the Eagles. Make case with the Rams and make case with Seahawks.
A
Rams. The Rams had the Eagles on the ropes and they couldn't put them away. You know, I just feel like you line up against the Eagles in the playoffs because I expect the Eagles to only get better. They haven't even played their best football. I feel.
C
I wonder what the current NFL super bowl odds are.
D
Let's go.
A
Let's look at anything else from this.
B
Game from Seattle, the favorite because he's got a big smile on his face.
A
I mean, we're pretty much just. We're pretty much just starting Harrison every week. Right? I mean, in a world where we're.
B
Yes.
A
Yeah.
D
Yeah.
A
He's moved ahead. He's clearly ahead of.
C
Did you hear the Seahawks talking after the game about their touchdowns and the way they played Brissette in the first half.
A
No, no.
C
What'd they say is it's much easier playing against him. You know, he's not going to go anywhere. All you got to do is just run right at him.
A
Interesting.
D
True.
A
Tell that to the Cardinals. Okay, so that's it for the show.
B
I think McBride or Bowers. Rest season.
C
I don't get to count this week, huh?
D
Nope.
C
Starting next week, I'll take Bowers.
A
Still, this is a horrible fantasy week for you, Heath. Because of Bowers?
C
No, actually it's a pretty good week.
A
Oh, good. I was worried about you.
C
I mean it was a horrible Thursday night.
A
It's one thing when he's not playing and you could put a sub it, but when he just has a total dud.
C
Well, he hasn't not played very much this year. It's just been a lot of injury riddled and then that disaster. But we'll get back next week.
A
Okay, wait, so who. What are the super bowl odds? Let's see. Bet. Mgm super bowl odds from seven days ago. We don't want that. Schaefer, what do you got? You got any super bowl odds?
D
No.
A
All right.
D
I don't.
C
How do you not just have that Schaefer?
A
Come on. I put him on the spot. NFL, where are our futures? Yeah, I could look it up, but I think we should just get going here. Thanks a lot everybody for watching and listening. Enjoy Sunday Night Football. We will talk to you tomorrow at noon eastern for beyond the box score for Dave and Heath and Jamie and Thomas.
