Hello, Adam. Fun games, Exciting games. I think we started to see the contenders pull away from the pretenders, and we'll continue to see that as the weeks go on. And obviously we're seeing that in fantasy leagues with the last week of the regular season. Hopefully. You guys, I. I can't wait till Tuesday's show to find out how many leagues you guys made the playoffs in.

[Dave]

Yeah, I. I'm pretty nervous about that.

[Heath]

Yeah, I think that was pretty much written for me when I put Saquon Barkley and Derek Henry in the bus column. But I just wanted to congratulate Dave for being right about the 49ers thumping the Bears and the Bears just laying down. And Adam, you were right. Like the first, the early games were awful. The late games were fantastic. And we got a lot of fantasy points in the late games, but the early games were awful. Adam, you were right.

[Dave]

Yeah, right.

[Heath]

We had all kind. We had busts throughout the 1pm game.

[Adam]

Those are good finishes, though.

[Dave]

Oh, I mean, the Giants.

[Heath]

I just meant for fantasy.

[Dave]

The Giants game couldn't have ended any better, I got to tell you.

[Adam]

Oh, they got the phone call. You got the phone call.

[Dave]

Yeah. Yeah. Kick it really low.

[Adam]

Here's a segment called Missed the kick. Missed the kick.

[Dave]

Yeah. Yeah. Here's the segment called how about that? How about that, Pukinakua. This was about. This originally was going to be about Jordan Addison, but Pukinakua had the third best wide receiver game of the season behind Jamar Chase and Juwan Jennings. And for a while, we had teammates finishing as wide receiver 1 and 2. It looked like Addison and Jefferson were going to be wide receiver one and two. That would have been the first time since week seven of 2022 when Jamar Chase and Tyler Boyd did it. But Pukinaku has screwed that up. How about that? John who Smith did not have a catch until overtime and then he had three catches for 44 yards and a touchdown against the Jets.

[Adam]

You know, it's funny. So on HQ this morning they do same game parlay and as one of the segments and they had the Dolphins, jets came and Pete had the under. Pete Prescott the under on John Smith's receiving yards. And he was peacocking around after that first four quarters and I was like, you're gonna lose it in overtime, man. It was a fun sweat for him.

[Dave]

What was? Did he get on? Was it under?

[Adam]

It was 48. 48 yards.

[Dave]

Okay, all right, how about that? Michael Mayer had a season high 70.7% route participation rate and he had seven catches for 68 yards on nine targets. His first game with more than three targets. And how about that? By halftime of their 4 o'clock window games, Zach Charbonnet was already RB one for the week and George Kittle was already tight end one for the week at halftime. All right, let's get a winner and a loser.

[Adam]

Two more games to go.

[Dave]

Yes.

[Heath]

I'm not sure those are going to hold.

[Dave]

It's going to be tough to beat Charbonne, that's for sure. What did he have? Almost 40 points. Amazing game.

[Heath]

I was like a Chase Brown.

[Dave]

Wait, am I wrong? Was it like 30 points? How many points did he have, charbonnet? He had 37 non decimal. So about 38 and a half decimal. All right, Dave, give me some optimism. Give me the biggest winner.

[Jamie]

Well, you mentioned a lot of the guys that had a huge game. The Vikings, obviously, with Darnold and Addison and Jefferson. We're going to talk about them. Heath brought up the 49ers and how I was kind of over aggressive on them. And Brock purdy was really good. 20 of 25, passing over 300 yards, a couple of touchdowns. He had a rushing touchdown called back by a penalty. They were on fire and it felt like the right spot for them to get right against the Chicago defense that just really like they started to make some plays in the second half, but really they just were not in sync early on. Caleb Williams, another terrible first half. I think that put the Bears defense in a lot of bad positions. And Purdy just kind of went back out there and showed everybody, hey, I can still play. I can still be a good quarterback. And even took a wicked hit in the second half. Got like Ben all around. Looked like the worst clothesline ever. Even John Layfield couldn't lay one that bad. Bottom line is that Purdy is a winner this week and if you started him, you'll feel good about it. And I think he's got some matchups coming up that you'll feel good. Next scoring Dolphins after that, lions in week 17 and what will be the game that determines a lot of fantasy championships. I think he's good to go. I think he's going to be a top 12 quarterback the rest of the way.

[Dave]

And people will have a tough time sitting Juwan Jennings and obviously George Kittle. But Debo Samuel, on the other hand, people might have a hard time starting him. Heath, you want to talk about the losers? You want to just stay in that game?

[Heath]

Well, that's the Bears. Every time I start to get excited about Caleb Williams, he just like his where I. The joke that I made earlier was like his awareness rating on Madden next year should be a negative, but it should be. It's just a glitch. Like he literally glitches out during games and just falls down next to defenders. He was scrambling on one place and intentionally ran in like tried to truck stick. Someone bounced off of them, spun and then slid short of the first down line when there was nobody around him. Yeah, and it wasn't just him. Like, DeAndre Swift was awful. Keenan Allen scored six fantasy points on five targets and Roma Dunes a scored two touchdowns. Like, it was just an absolutely awful performance from an inept franchise. And I. Yikes. I don't know. Well, I hope, I hope that Caleb Williams can figure this out because he has the physical tools, but his understanding of playing the quarterback position is severely lacking.

[Dave]

Okay, so let me ask you this, right? They just had two good games against Minnesota and Detroit. Their next two games are Minnesota and Detroit. Are you going to trust them? Because Caleb threw for 134 yards today. That obviously hurt Keenan Allen and company. You're going to trust them against Minnesota and Detroit?

[Heath]

Probably not now with nobody on a play.

[Dave]

Okay.

[Jamie]

Anthony Richardson or Caleb Williams?

[Adam]

Williams next week Richardson gets the Broncos unless Levi Wallace decides to be a starting corner.

[Jamie]

So that's a good point. But like it's going to be like, it's. It's for the fantasy managers that have Caleb Williams and another tough call, you know, Russell Wilson without George Pickens. Like, we can make a whole list of guys that would be tough calls with Caleb Williams. It wouldn't surprise me if he bounced back next week.

[Dave]

All right, we got Jamie's winners and losers in a bit as well. We have some buy or sell on Malik neighbors on Zach Charbonnet. On the Bills wide receivers Keenan Allen or, sorry, amari Cooper. With 14 targets today, that's pretty good.

[Heath]

And half of me ran the right, right, right route.

I mean, it was a very disappointing day for the Saints, you know, knowing who they were facing, especially Alvin Kamara. You know, we thought, I think, Dave, you said he could have the best day of any running back. And I was there.

[Jamie]

I did say that.

[Adam]

You know, I think we all felt like that. You know, so it was, it was just extremely frustrating. And, you know, the, the positive is that the, the tight end play was good. You know, what we thought would happen today with, you know, what we thought could happen. You know, I didn't love the matchup, but Juwan Johnson and Foster Moreau were certainly involved and we'll see what happens moving forward there. But last time that car was out, they went to Spencer Rattler. Today they went to Hayner. Hayner, yeah.

[Dave]

Jake Hayner.

[Adam]

So we'll see what they, what they decide to do, you know, in different coaching staff now than when it happened the last time. But yeah, it's just, it's tough to trust anything but Kamara as a mustard guy. You know, MBS had a solid game from a target perspective, but just didn't do very much with it.

[Dave]

Alvin Kamara, in three games earlier this year without Derek Carr, he did score 17.4 or more fantasy points in two of them. He had five to six catches in all three games, you know, but he, what does he. 64 total yards, 24 total yards and then like 120 total yards. I should be better at math but I'm that so you know, it wasn't easy. It was, it was a struggle. He's gone seven games now without a touchdown and it's just, it's not a great situation. Plus we did see some, some Kendrick Miller in there. He had an eight yard touchdown run.

[Adam]

In terms of the Raiders, yes, by that time. Sorry, you're still starting Bowers and Myers. You know, Bowers is no brainer and Myers is going to be, you know, I think a certainly in play as a number two receiver, you know, at least a starter in three receiver leagues for sure.

[Dave]

All right. And running back news. Jonathan Brooks left in the first quarter so we'll see what.

[Jamie]

Oh, and it was non contact. It looked exactly like Christian McCaffrey last week. Horrific.

[Dave]

But hopefully nothing super long term. I might keep him out for the rest of the season, but hopefully nothing that causes surgery or anything like that. So we'll see on, on him on Jonathan Brooks. Isaac Orndo left with a foot injury. I mean this is unbelievable. So now you've got a 3% rostered Patrick Taylor and we'll see what the deal is with Garendo and potentially a sprained foot. Bucky Irving left with a back injury and Rashad White is a top five running back for week 14 right now. He had a great game. And Travis Homer left with a head injury. He had three catches in the game before leaving. I don't have any wide receiver news other than George Pickens inactive, no tight end injuries that I'm aware of. Any major ones Anyway. The Giants lost two linemen, two offensive linemen. That's. I hope you picked up the Ravens DST and left tackle Toronto Armstead for the Dolphins. He left in the first quarter. Right tackle Morgan Moses for the Jets. He got hurt in warmups, played a little bit and then he left and defensive injuries. We can go back to that at some other time if you still can't.

[Adam]

Yeah, the heart wants to buy it. The brain says not so fast. But he, I think he's the best fit for this offense right now.

[Heath]

It just seems like it was like three weeks ago that we were all laughing about. Remember when we said Zach Charbonnet might be better than Ken Walker because every time Charbonne touched the ball, he ran 2 yards and fell down?

[Jamie]

Yeah, there was that.

[Heath]

Like he had a, he had a great game today. I'm not, I've, I've been a big Charbonnet guy. I'm not trying to, to downplay it too much, but they love Ken Walker. Like all they did all off season and throughout this season is talk about how much they love Ken Walker. I, I think it's him.

[Adam]

I, I would think that's the most likely logical answer. But you look at what happened today, it's the best running back performance they may have had all season. You know, and part of that is, I think, because they let one guy go, you know, that, that, yeah, getting in a flow and, and taking advantage of how the offensive line was playing. You know, clearly the Cardinals run defense has been much better than what they showed today. But I mean, they just played each other two weeks ago and Ken Walker couldn't do anything. And then Charbonnet does this.

[Jamie]

134 rush yards is definitely the best game. Walker is one game over 100 rush yards on the season. So there's 103 in week one against Denver like this.

[Adam]

This was bad for Ken Walker no matter what because how do you not give Charbonne more opportunities? You know, maybe they start rotating drives. Maybe it's, you know, he's the, the one A or he's the, you know, it just feels like there's there's got to be some, some more work coming for Charbonne moving forward. So, you know, you'd almost like it to be. Let the one guy sit so at least the other guy can. Can continue to be a feature guy.

[Jamie]

And Charbonnet had been the passing downs back. Maybe he starts to work at the goal line even more. Like maybe he dominates that over Walker and maybe they split rushing downs work. That could be a solution for Seattle. I. I'm gonna buy it. I'm gonna say Charbonnet is the better running back than Walker in full PPR rest of season.

[Dave]

All right. Ken Walker, 3.2 yards per carry in his last eight games. Khalil Shakir and Amari Cooper are both top 30 wide receivers going forward. Buy or sell? Khalil Shakir and Amari Cooper are both top 30 wide receivers. And before you answer, here are the stats. Cooper had six catches, 95 yards on 14 targets. Shakir had five catches, 106 yards and an awesome touchdown on eight targets and even caught a deep ball in this game. But buy or sell, they're both top 30 guys.

[Jamie]

So, so I will sell with reluctance for a number of reasons. One, Keon Coleman's going to come back. He's going to take work away. Two, not every game the Bills is going to play will be like this game. They're gonna be able to get their run game going in a couple of other matchups down the way. So I, I don't think that the volume will be this high. 14 targets from Mark Cooper. Goodness gracious. I, I think he'll be lucky to see nine in any other game the rest of this.

[Dave]

Okay, well, I'll take that.

[Heath]

It might be this high next week at the Lions, right?

[Adam]

Yep.

[Heath]

But then it's Patriots and Jets in Orchard Park. I'm going to guess it's not.

[Dave]

Okay. All right, well, you know, maybe. Maybe we can start them. Well, I think Shakir at least you know what the floor is. He's had double digit PPR fantasy points in every game that he's played. A normal snapshare. Maybe this is an encouraging step for Cooper, though, because he's finally starting to play a lot by.

[Adam]

Just to wonder what the seating is. You know, depending on what happens in tonight's game and where the Bills are in terms of chasing the one seed or, you know, where do they sort of fall into the playoff seating? And then look, Josh Allen. While they lost today, he certainly helped his MVP chances. Yeah, his numbers. So, you know, those two games that Heath referenced could be Padding stats.

[Heath]

He definitely locked it up in Adam's mind. Now that will be interesting is after next week. If the Bills suddenly only have one fewer loss than the Ravens and Lamar has better stats, then who is? Adams.

[Dave]

It may be.

[Adam]

You gotta be the division winner.

[Jamie]

Gotta be the division winner. That makes sense. If they go into Detroit and they get stopped by for season, I. I don't think Allen's going to be.

[Dave]

Oh, no, of course not. We should. You know what the most important thing I think for the MVP race is? What did you do in your most recent game? That's what every single person apparently wants to vote on when it comes to the mvp. Look at the body of work, people. The body of work. But now Josh Allen is clearly catching up to the Brown spot.

[Jamie]

Work is pretty damn.

[Dave]

No, it's got. He's.

[Adam]

I mean, if we're going based on, you know, winning a game and putting up stats. Sam Darnold's the MVP today.

[Heath]

Well, like Josh Allen was minus. Like, he had minus odds coming into this week. He was the clear favorite entering this game.

[Dave]

Nobody asked me. He.

[Heath]

And then he had six touchdowns, so it's not close.

[Dave]

Buy or sell Malik Neighbors. Oh, man, I wish I had stuck with my prediction of 80 yards and a touchdown. He was one yard away from both of those things. Five catches and 79 yards on 10 targets.

[Heath]

He had a two point conversion. That's basically like a touchdown for the Giants.

[Dave]

I mean, look, it's now two of three games where he's had, you know, Jalen Waddle type performances and Puka Tua's playing great, you know, over the last four weeks. So it might just be time to buy back into Jalen Waddle. You know, I don't think you're going to start him as a top 24 receiver, but certainly in three receiver leagues you should feel definitely confident in starting him again. And there this is just I think they haven't been running the ball very well lately. You know, I thought they'd have a little bit more success doing it today. It's just he has, he has still that in his bag to get hot and, and play at this level when they decide to feature. And that's always going to be the case. I think if, if they give him the opportunities and the targets look, John would disappear today. But he came through at the, you know, huge time for the Dolphins. So that's just, I think, the type of offense that we're dealing with where there's going to be, you know, somebody left out maybe on a weekly basis. But you got to be encouraged by Dan Waddle if you somehow made it to the playoffs with him on your bench and you could be struggling with a flex decision or wide receiver decision based on injuries like this is. Okay, maybe I got somebody.

[Dave]

Now tell me if you agree with this assessment. The Dolphins are going to throw the ball a lot for three straight games with 40 or more pass attempts. I don't want to rely on that, but they're going to throw the ball a lot.

[Jamie]

That assessment. Okay. Dolphins are going to throw the ball a lot. HN is going to get his 8ish targets. Tyree kill is going to get his targets, and then it's either going to be Johnny or Waddle.

Yeah, I guess the Patriots game is probably one you can look at and say, well, both John and Waddle got targets that game.

[Dave]

Yeah. Yeah.

[Adam]

So I just think it's, it's, it's, it's just encouraging, you know, that. That's all. It's nothing like you could say. It's concrete. You know, Dave's theory has been pretty tried and true of when the run game is working and Devon HN is doing his thing. Like Waddle's been a disappearing act. So if you think their run game is going to get going, then maybe that's something you worry about a little bit. But if you think two was throwing the ball 40 plus times, which is probably going to happen, then there's the potential for, you know, eight targets apiece for those guys.

[Dave]

All right, how about Rashad White? What do you have to say about him? Obviously?

[Jamie]

Well, can I say one last thing about the Dolphins? I'm sorry to interrupt and I'll be quick. HN was out for part of this game and I wonder if Waddle saw an uptick in targets then. And then obviously you brought up the John New thing. If, if they each got eight targets per week, I think we'd all be pretty happy with Tyreek, Waddle and Johnny.

[Dave]

Yeah, for sure. Okay. Rashad White. Yeah, I mean, I guess he's a must start as long as Irving's out.

[Adam]

It sure looked that way. You know, and again, you're talking about a great matchup. Their schedule, we know, is favorable to close the season. I do think that what we've seen, you know, aside from last week against Carolina, they both have been startable. You know, granted, we've had bye weeks. We've had situations where, you know, running backs have been in and out Due to injuries. But prior to last week, while Bucky was averaging or scoring 15 points per game in like five of his last six, Rashad White was pretty consistently above 11. He just had been disappearing act in, in the passing game. But he's had some touchdowns over that stretch. Like, there's been reasons to start him as at least a flex. So clearly, if Bucky Irving's out, you go back to him as a number two running back, maybe more, depending on what the, the week looks like for your team. But clearly there's a path to league winner here if Bucky has to miss time. This team has been very good running the ball, you know, whether it's been Bucky or this week, Rashad White. And so you gotta like the setup for them moving forward.

[Dave]

Okay. Dave's winners are Darnell Mooney and who you already talked about, Brock Purdy. But Mooney, with seven targets, he caught six of them for 142 yards at Minnesota. He's at Las Vegas next week.

[Jamie]

There were some moments where Drake London was in sync with Kirk Cousins on timing routes. There were some moments where the, the Vikings defense was in sync with Kirk Cousins as well. But I thought Mooney was the one who was most in sync on timing routes downfield against the Vikings. And it's the Vikings, right? They give up a ton of fantasy points to wide receivers. Here's who Atlanta has moving forward. The Raiders, the Giants at home and at the commanders in week 17. And even for good measure, Carolina at home in week 18. This is a great schedule for Atlanta. I, I They're still gonna think that they're still in the playoff hunt and Bijan's gonna get his, but I think Darnell Mooney can finish the season strong. This was encouraging to me that Cousins threw a lot through for a lot of yards. Mooney had the majority of them, and he's in that conversation to be a top world wide receiver the rest of the way.

[Dave]

Top 24.

[Jamie]

Yeah. Okay, neighbors.

[Dave]

Sorry, you cut out a little bit. You'd rather have Mooney than neighbors?

[Jamie]

[Dave]

Okay. It'll come back. Don't worry. It happens sometimes. Heath's winners are Adam Thielen, who's going to be very popular on the waiver wire. Nine catches, 102 yards on 11 targets at Philadelphia. This is two straight games with 99 to 102 yards on 10 or 11 targets for Adam Thielen, he's only 51% rostered. And Juwan Jennings, who started in 61% of leagues and came through every wide receiver that gets eight or more targets against the Bears has a big game. He had eight. Exactly. He had big game way before eight. But he had Juwan Jennings. Seven catches, 90 yards and two touchdowns. So you got Thielen and Jennings here.

[Heath]

Yeah. And I think you just, I mean, you almost have to look at Adam Thielen in that close to top 24 range. We've seen him function as the number one wide receiver in this offense when he's been healthy with Bryce Young in the past, and he's clearly doing that again right now. He did it against a very good Eagles defense here and came through and he has a very favorable schedule in the fantasy playoffs. So definitely a must add. If you're in a three wide receiver league, I would call him a must start. And if you're in a two wide receiver league, you might need to.

[Dave]

Okay, sounds good. Losers. Heath, your losers were Elijah Moore, who I guess you would probably dump for Adam Thielen.

[Heath]

Closer to Elijah Less this week, but yes. Or is it Elijah fewer? No, I would absolutely. You're thinking about it now. I would absolutely. I would dump him for Adam Thielen. Yes.

[Dave]

They're about rostered right around the same amount of leaks.

[Heath]

Right. And he had a couple of opportunities. One of Jameis's bad picks was an overthrow of Elijah Moore in the red zone. That could have turned into a touchdown if he'd hit more in stride. But it's just he's not getting a lot of the downfield targets and that kind of feels like what you need to do with Jameis right now, the way he's succeeding Keenan Allen.

[Jamie]

I'm sorry. Would you consider holding on to Elijah Moore because of the matchup at Cincinnati in week 16?

[Adam]

1 billion percent 16.

[Heath]

I'd like to hold on to him.

[Jamie]

Yes.

[Heath]

But who. Who is Thielen playing next week and who's more playing next week? Because I don't really get to think about week 16 matchups. If I don't win week 15 totally fine.

[Jamie]

I don't really care who Thielen plays next week. He just had these numbers against Philadelphia. But just FYI, it's Dallas at home, followed by Arizona at home at Tampa bay in week 17.

[Heath]

Yeah, so I'd still rather have Thielen, but I'd like to have a lot more also.

[Jamie]

Sure.

[Adam]

I always knew Thielen had in him. I'm a big fan of 31 year old receivers.

[Jamie]

Dave's losers are Braylon Allen. He's 80% rostered and 46% started as opposed to Isaiah Davis, who's 6% rostered and 4% started. So Braylon Allen was a loser for you. They had about the same amount OF touches and DeAndre Swift started in 69% of leagues. He was a loser for you. He had 15 touches for 40 total yards. A terrible game at San Francisco. San Francisco is a good run defense though. But yeah. What do you want to say about Braylon Allen and DeAndre Swift?

[Jamie]

We'll start with Allen. I think a lot of people thought that he would dominate playing time for the Jets. It was pretty much a 50, 50 split as far as snaps go. But Isaiah Davis had the high value snaps. 9 of 12 on third downs, 4 of 4 snaps inside the 10. That's kind of nuts and surprising because when you look at Braylon Allen, the dude is built like a brick house. And I think that he's. You'd think that he would be the one used near the goal line. It was Davis plus Davis had the explosive run for the touchdown. I think these two are going to take away from each other. And we don't know if Bruce. There's a report that Bries hall might play in week 15. So I I braille and out someone that I'm happy to roster, but I don't know how much confidence I would have in him even if he were to start next week without Presol on the field. And then just the Bears offense, just more of the same. DeAndre Swift. Not great matchups coming up. Minnesota, Detroit, great for the receivers. Might be great for Caleb Williams. I'm not going to want to trust DeAndre Swift. I'm not sure if he is a top 24 fantasy running back the rest of the season.

[Dave]

And Jamie, your losers are Alvin Camara, who we discussed, and A.J. brown. Four catches for 43 yards on four targets. He actually did lead the team in receiving against Carolina. It was not a good day for Jalen Hertz. And if you he it was a great fantasy day for him. But what did he throw for? He threw for 108 yards against Carolina. So I just want to say, I mean I read the AP recap of this game and the recap was basically like the locker room was somber after this win. And the offense, the passing components of the office. A.J. brown, Devontae Smith, Jalen Hurts, Nick Sirianni, they all talked about how disappointed they were in the passing game. They're going to emphasize getting this thing going if they can, but terrible game for A.J. brown. What do you want to say, Jamie?

[Adam]

I mean, you Said it. Thank you. So it.

[Jamie]

It's.

[Adam]

It's just frustrating, you know, to be in the A.J. brown camp right now because you have such high expectations. It's almost like what we're talking about Friday with the mom or Saint Brown. You know, you have just these superstar receivers that, you know, are capable of huge thing, huge performances. Their offenses are playing great. You have, you know, legitimately, two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. You have two offenses that have been two of the best in the NFL, and you have two teams that are very good at running the ball also, you know, which is hurting their receiving, you know, their passing games and their superstar receivers. So I think the. The thing that's frustrating is you have to start him every week. You have to expect big performances, and when they don't come, it's just, you know, you get this, you know, sour taste in your mouth. So hopefully there's better days ahead for A.J.

[Heath]

Brown.

[Adam]

And like you said, that they. They start to feature the pass game a little bit more.

[Jamie]

You've had a sour taste in your mouth five of the last seven weeks with A.J. brown.

[Adam]

Right. It's just, you know, we. I think we had this conversation a couple weeks ago, like, who are the guys that you're starting no matter what? And clearly he's one of those guys. So you just, you know, like, you. You would never say, I'm starting Darnell Mooney over A.J. brown. I'm never starting Juwan Jennings over A.J. brown. Like, we're not. We're not there yet, you know, with sitting him.

[Dave]

Is it that crazy to start Juwan Jennings over AJ Brown?

[Heath]

I'm not doing it.

[Dave]

Ideally, you would start.

[Adam]

I don't think it's. I don't think it's crazy. But, you know, again, like, he's not hurt. He still has great matchups. He still has the potential to go crazy. You know, I mean, and we, you know, it's. It's great that Juan Jennings did this. We've had a month of John Jennings not doing this.

[Dave]

Not really. I mean, John Jennings was an absolute money with Brock Purdy and either Debo or.

[Adam]

Yeah, I guess you take into account.

[Dave]

Other than the Bills. Yeah, right.

The Brandon Allen games.

[Dave]

I mean, they're both. If I had them, I'd say I'd start both. But I just want to say. So this is the AP recap. Like, this is pretty opinionated for an AP recap. Hertz didn't do enough to get. Well, I'll fast forward. He took four sacks. He held the Ball too long as open receivers ran with their arms up trying to get their quarterback's attention. So just an off day for him. Yeah.

You know they play the Steelers next week. The Eagles do.

It's just I would get so tired of this if I was Jalen Hurts.

Like again, he's what, 11 and three. He produced three touchdowns today. He's one of the winningest quarterbacks since he entered the NFL and it's almost non stop. Yeah, but he's not actually, he's not actually that good. He's not actually one of the, one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL last week. It's just, it's so tired.

[Dave]

Who's saying they're they're one. Well, no, we're just, we're talking about how awful the Eagles like Jalen Hurts is.

Well, he was, he was today. But no, I agree he's put under a microscope. I have heard a lot of criticism earlier this year that he wasn't playing well. I even read one of it on the, on the show. It was some. I forget who was some famous like film guy. I don't want to miss, you know, Ms. Eisenberg, Jesse Eisenberg said that Jalen Hurts was missing like easy concepts, just like not doing very simple things for a quarterback. I've heard a lot he's not good when he's in the pocket, this and that. They, they are very critical. They almost ignore the things he's great at and criticize him for the things that he's not as good at. So I get, I understand where you're coming from, Heath. But today, today I think the criticism probably fair to throw for 108 yards against the Panthers. All right. And that's it for our winners and losers and almost touchdowns. We had Tony Pollard had a touchdown call back on a hold. Malik Neighbors came up a yard short of a touchdown. Xavier League it nearly had a 32 yard touchdown. Tyreek Hill drew a pass interference in the end zone. He gets a lot of end zone targets. Tyree Kill that one won't even count as one. And then on the next play or two plays later, Devon Hn scored a rushing touchdown. Jalen Waddle came up of yard a yard short of a touchdown. Jordan Addison came up a yard short of what would have been four touchdowns. Philadelphia actually tried to give Saquon Barkley a one yard touchdown run and it didn't work. So then they just went right to the tush push and they scored there. Demarcus Robinson had about a 50 yard catch called back, wasn't a touchdown, but called back on a pretty bad offensive pass. Interference call Nick Westbrook. Akin, he dropped a touchdown. Would have been a short touchdown, only his second catch of the game, but he did drop it. It was not an easy ball. And I think that we're not talking.

Yeah, no, I'm like, yeah, basically their last throw.

Yeah, Carolina hasn't been that bad.

No, I think Carolina deserves some. They lost by three to Kansas City. They lost an overtime to Tampa Bay and they lost by one possession and they almost won.

[Adam]

Knew it was going to be under 10 points against Kansas City. Every game is under 10 points.

[Dave]

But they, I think they're, I think they're a solid team now. I mean, well, they're not a, they're not a pushover anymore.

I mean the 14 league, 16 team league. He's absolutely in play for Those formats in 12 team leagues with no teams on a buy in the playoffs. Nobody's gonna start him.

We got Aaron Jones probably going to be a starter next week against the Bears. He just scored 20 fantasy points against them a few weeks ago and he had a good game today. Anybody want to elaborate on Jordan Addison? I think we, I think we owe it to him.

[Adam]

He's been playing great. He's been getting targets lately. Sam Darnold has been amazing. Like he's certainly in the, on the cusp of a starter in two receiver leagues and the most our guy in three super leagues.

[Heath]

They talked during the broadcast about how even Jordan Addison when he talked to them during the week said he understands how much easier his job is because of Justin Jefferson and maybe at some point like that stops becoming so true and things get a little bit easier for Justin Jefferson.

[Dave]

Well, like today, 70%. So we think we'd rather start him Than Malik neighbors. Right.

[Adam]

If they're both getting the same amount of targets, one's catching passes from Darnold, one's catching passes from Drew Locke. I know going into the year that would be like, okay, who cares? But obviously, you know, with the offenses that they play in and the teams that they play for, that matters.

[Jamie]

I mean, one scoring touchdowns.

[Dave]

Yeah.

And one isn't.

And in the Giants offensive line played so poorly today and they lost two start two more starters. Horrible. TJ Hawkinson, on the other hand, is.

Yeah, I agree with both of you. He's a must start, but he's definitely in the back half of the RB2 range. Terrible rushing average against the Saints. Yeah, that. That's. That's an ugly look. 10 targets in a game. Drew Locke through 49 times. That's. That's probably not going to happen every single week. But the thing that I like, he played over 80 of the snaps. So whatever doghouse he might have been in because of that fumble a couple of games ago, he's. He's roaring now, barking even.

[Dave]

And I don't know that he's a must start against the Ravens next week, though. Jamie, thoughts?

[Adam]

That's fair.

[Dave]

Okay. Yeah.

[Jamie]

The Ravens give up like 12 ppr.

[Dave]

They gave up a lot in the passing game, the running backs, but it's hard to expect good rushing from Tracy next week. All right, Daniel. Daniel Bellinger had a good game, which, I mean, in the deepest of leagues. Theo Johnson was basically doing this five for 45 on seven targets. Somewhat interesting, but remember Drew Lock through 49 passes in this game? Jacksonville 10. And oh, by the way, I saw a stat on the game. He was the first quarterback to start O of 8 since at least 1991.

[Heath]

That doesn't seem like. Doesn't it seem like Daniel Jones would have done that?

[Dave]

I was surprised, too, but maybe it was the first Giants quarterback. I think it was the first quarterback period to do it. It was bad. Jacksonville 10, Tennessee 6. Another big one for the Giants. Yeah. Go Jags. They're only stupid.

[Adam]

Can you be?

[Dave]

Only two teams with two wins, how.

[Adam]

Will you stop? You know, you shut everyone down and you want everyone to lose. These guys are competitors. They want to win, Jamie.

Look at that. You know what, Jamie? Not everyone can be like the Baked Burger Dynasty League. You can't all Tank. But what. Speaking of Tank, Dave, what do you think of Tank Bigsby with a good game today? He had 18 carries, 55 yards and a touchdown.

[Jamie]

I don't know what to say about that. He not a good rushing average, not good efficiency, played 52% of the snaps, had a minority on high value touches. ETN played more on third downs, more inside the 10. He just, he. He scored a touchdown. I don't know how often that's going to happen.

[Dave]

[Heath]

What's the conversion rate on that? Like 3.1 yards per carry against the Titans is equal to what against the jets next week?

[Adam]

3.8.

[Dave]

3 point. Yeah, 8. 9.

[Heath]

So if he gets 18 carries and averages 3.8 yards per carry, next week might be a pretty good week.

[Adam]

They're going to get the memo next week and lose story.

[Dave]

It's a big one because they're gonna. I think they have the same record, right? They're both three win teams. It's a big one for the Jaguars.

[Heath]

Weren't the jets the team that accidentally won at the end of the year to give Jacksonville Trevor Lawrence? Yeah, maybe Jackson was like, we don't want that to happen again. We're just gonna win.

Worse for Ingram, though. Four for 33 on six targets. And then just a horrible game for Will Levis. I mean, what do we make of this? First of all, hey, Calvin Ridley. I had like a 6 yard 8 dot.

[Heath]

Is Will Levis okay? He took a shot.

[Adam]

Yeah.

Oh, at halftime. It was awful.

[Adam]

[Dave]

I, well, I, I mean, this was such a good matchup and they came up so small, but this, this is.

[Adam]

The Will Levis experience because he. What, what? We bought in, we said, okay, he's playing better, gets Jacksonville, goodbye, week placement, you know, might have an opportunity to help you. Then he gets Cincinnati next week when no one's going to start him because everybody's back and he just had this crappy game. And he's going to go for 40 fantasy points because the Bengals are that bad. That's exactly what's going to Happen.

[Heath]

He is AFC.

[Dave]

Caleb Williams, Tampa Bay 28, Las Vegas 13. And Baker Mayfield scored about 25 fantasy points through three touchdowns. But let's talk about Sincere McCormick, 44% roster. Dave, you've been, you've been pretty sincere. He did, he, did he, what was his almost touchdown?

[Adam]

He got tackled at the one.

[Heath]

I think he got tackled to the one like three times, maybe. Yes, he had some struggles inside the five.

[Dave]

I mean, he had almost every carry for the team, so 15 for 78 and two catches for 11 yards, and he gets Atlanta next week. But he's 44 rostered. I think he'll be, he'll be popular on the waiver wire.

[Jamie]

He'll be popular on the waiver wire. He'll be a good bench running back. Maybe if you're desperate for a running back, you can turn to him and start him against Atlanta next week. But it's Desmond Ritter the rest of the way for the Raiders, and that's. I, I, it's hard to think of a downgrade from Aiden O'Connell to anybody, but here we go. This is a downgrade to for Desmond Ritter, and it could change how defenses play them, and it could mean less efficiency for McCormick.

[Heath]

I'm sorry, I don't want to derail the show, but it's so funny, Jonathan. I never, I got to shoot a three in my last high school game. We were Losing in the state playoffs by 15 points. And the coach said, go ahead and shoot a 3. I was the exact opposite. I had 16 rebounds in one game, and I didn't shoot a 3 until my last game of basketball.

[Adam]

Did you make it as watching. Watching all of Heath's practices? As a coach, he emphasizes rebounding more than anything.

[Dave]

All right, so Baker with a. With a good game, and Rashad White was great, and Mike Evans was not. That was pretty surprising.

[Adam]

He's not getting it, is he?

[Heath]

No, he was like, 95 yards per game, I think. But remember, what was it he had, like, three years ago, hit 180 yards or something in the final game?

[Adam]

Yeah, three years ago. He's 28. And it was Tom Brady and Antonio.

[Dave]

Brown got hurt in that game, as I recall. And then.

[Heath]

I'm not. I'm not betting against him.

[Dave]

Does anybody want to talk about Sterling shepherd or Jalen McMillan or Kate Otten?

[Heath]

[Adam]

Adam was 10 PPR points. McMillan had the two touchdowns. I don't think you should chase that at all.

Pittsburgh 27, Cleveland 14. The game of the week. Yeah. Jameis, 19.3 fantasy points. Russell Wilson had. Pretty surprising, I'd have to say, for Russell Wilson to score 20. What do you score, 20 on the nose with two touchdown passes without George Pickens. All right, Heath, Major takeaways from this game.

[Heath]

I thought you nailed it. Like, it was surprising that Russell Wilson was that good without George Pickens. It was. I was pretty disappointed in Naji, but I guess he was okay. I was hoping for better. I. I think they'd be a lot better off the Browns if they would just play Jerome Ford a lot more.

[Jamie]

They started to do that. He was in on the second drive as their main running back and. And he played more than Nick Chubb in the game.

[Heath]

That's the second week in a row, right?

[Jamie]

Yeah. I mean, this. This is what's going to happen when they're trailing is you're going to see less of Chubb and more Ford.

[Dave]

Wasn't really Ford's best game, though, right? I mean, 10 carries for 28 yards.

[Heath]

No, he wasn't particularly good. He just looks better than Chubb.

[Jamie]

Yeah, Chubb doesn't have the explosiveness anymore next year.

[Adam]

It is funny because we spent eight weeks, seven weeks of. I can't wait to see what Nick Chubb looks like when he comes back. Because this Jerome Ford stinks and now things shows back or. Yeah.

[Jamie]

Hopefully they perform more well in the game.

[Dave]

Not that I'm aware of.

[Jamie]

I thought Warren played a little bit more than normal. Snap share says that Warm did play more than Naji in the game, but.

[Adam]

That was the case last week because.

[Jamie]

Third downs that go on.

[Adam]

I'm sorry. That was the first Browns game too. Not last week.

[Dave]

He may have got. He got dinged up in one of the games recently, but. Okay. Naji, it's. It's weird. Look at. If you just look at his game log and his catches, he could be from like 0 to 5 and you're just no predicting it. I think he even had six last week. But it's, it's hard to predict. It's zero catches. He even scored a touchdown this week, but he had zero catches. So it wasn't a great game.

[Adam]

Brown's gonna have a lot of rushing touchdowns. You know, you go back to. I think it was the game before the Saints when Taysom had the three rushing touchdowns. They just give up a lot of short yardage touchdowns.

[Dave]

Someone says they rested. Najee, I don't know if that's true. David, you want to look at the fourth quarter snaps. Maybe that'll provide some insight. And if Pickens is out again next week, maybe you need a tight end. Oh, I didn't realize firing at this 79% roster. But he did catch a touchdown. Miami 32 and the Jets 26. This one went to overtime. And John who Smith. One target, no catches in regulation. Three catches and what they said, 44 yards in the touchdown in overtime. So it was a great, great game for the Dolphins. Good game for the start of the week to a tongue of Iloa. And how about the Jets?

[Heath]

And a good game for the Jets.

[Dave]

Yeah. How Heath, you want to talk about the Jets? We spent a lot of time talking about them this week.

[Heath]

I was gonna say it was nice to see Garrett Wilson and Devonte Adams both be good in the same game. They play Jacksonville. They play Tampa next week. Jacksonville, Jacksonville next week.

[Adam]

Must start.

[Heath]

I will start them both next week and feel good about it. Aaron Rodgers is maybe an okay streamer as long as he can do it in the first three quarters because he gets tired late. I hope, I hope Breece Hall's back, but I do think like in a full PPR league, I'm probably starting Isaiah Davis over Braylon Allen next week if Bries Hall's not back.

[Adam]

I think they're both borderline starters.

[Heath]

Yeah.

[Dave]

So I think one of the. One of the stats that really stood out to me when we talked about the jets was just how bad Aaron Rodgers had been. And over the Last three weeks, when Garrett Wilson had been bad, he'd been averaging something like 150 yards per game. And I said, if he can just do what he did in the first nine games, give me 230 yards per game, that's not a ton, then they can be all right. Well, he came out and he threw for over 300 yards today. 339.

[Adam]

First time in 33 starts. Right.

[Dave]

Wow. I didn't know that. All right, let's go to Seattle 30 and Arizona 18. And Jamie, this, you know, is good call on DK Metcalf, right? You had him outside your top 30. He had four catches for 49 yards on six targets.

[Adam]

But are, you know, he's never had 60 yards receiving against the Cardinals in his career.

[Dave]

It's crazy. Are you going to have more faith in him against Green Bay, Minnesota at Chicago in the fantasy playoffs?

[Adam]

I have more faith than I did today, but it's clear that JSN is their best receiver. He's certainly the best fantasy receiver. And you know, look, Gino played better today. You know, I, I don't think anybody's going to trust him moving forward as a must start quarterback. But you know, when we start to talk about the guys that we were mentioning with, with neighbors, I mean, Mooney feels better than D.K. metcalf right now. Jennings feels safer than D.K. metcalf right now. And then maybe Jalen Wall does also. Like, Metcalf still has the potential to be a difference maker. But is his, is his health 100? You know, like he, he tried to hurdle a guy on the sideline. It looked bad, you know, like he just didn't look like the same athletic dude that we were typically used to seeing. He's been fighting through the shoulder injury, fighting through a knee injury. Like, I just don't know if he's 100.

[Heath]

It's so weird because like, what we saw earlier from JSN was we might get a lot of targets, but the targets to fantasy point rate wasn't great. Last two weeks he's had fewer targets than dk, but he's all of a sudden making big plays and scoring a bunch of fantasy points. I don't, I don't, I don't feel real comfortable with that whole Seattle passing game situation.

[Dave]

Do you feel comfortable with. Does anyone feel comfortable with the Cardinals passing game situation?

[Heath]

Well, next week's gonna see 12 plus targets. I feel pretty comfortable with that.

[Dave]

Yeah. Next week they get New England. I mean, Kyler had a good game. He scored 22 points. He didn't really have that great of a IRL game, but in our, in our world he had a good game. I don't. He seems like one of these players where it's, I don't know, does. Do you guys feel like you have a handle on Kyler Murray?

[Adam]

No, I'm starting him next week. I don't, I don't worry about the Patriots.

[Heath]

I think he's on the Will Levis Spectrum. He's just much better. But still like what he's going to do on a week to week basis is completely unpredictable.

[Jamie]

It's not just next week, it's New England and then it's Carolina and then it's the Rams.

[Dave]

Yeah, that's good.

[Jamie]

I mean that's the problem is that like he can have these favorable matchups and he can still struggle. How many of these games are going to be high scoring matchups where he'll have a shot at three touchdowns?

[Dave]

And it used to be, well, if we could just get him to throw some passes, you know, more than 30, then he'll be good. And today was the case. But the two previous games he threw 30, 37 points and scored 10 points at Seattle, 37 passes. He threw 45 passes and scored 17 points at Minnesota. So tough. James Connor with a nice bounce back. And who do you guys trust more going forward, DK Metcalf or Marvin Harrison Jr. DK?

[Adam]

Probably DK, but I think it'll be week to week.

[Jamie]

It's definitely week to week. And if DK looks as injured and not like his old self, then I think Marvin's the answer.

[Dave]

Buffalo 44 and the Rams 42. What a game. And 57.9 fantasy points for Josh Allen and Jamie. What on earth. James Cook after last week where he was so good, he scores 4.9 fantasy points in a game where the bill scored 42 points. That is crazy.

[Adam]

Just one of those things you can't make sense of, right? You know, I, I think you're going to go back to him weekly. You know, he still got the upside as we saw last week, to be a superstar. I wish they used him a little bit more in the passing game. I don't know his targets were today, but you know, that's sort of been the, the missing link for the season that, you know, it's, it's Ty Johnson at a great screen, you know, that scored a touchdown. Just another frustrating day, you know, put it in the, The Alvin Kamara, A.J. brown, you know, Amara St. Brown, you know, Canoe and, and just hope for Better days. Moving ahead for one of the better running backs in the league.

[Dave]

Yeah, Ray Davis. Did Ray Davis play? Did I miss something? Was he and I 22. Was.

[Jamie]

There was a sick three way split between Cook 46, Ty Johnson 31, Ray Davis 22%. Ty Johnson dominated third downs. Ty Johnson dominated inside the five.

[Dave]

Apparently I said that the Rams that the Bills won the game 44 42. It was the Rams 44, 42. Sorry about that. They said. Yeah, they said on the broadcast that they are going to use Blake Corum. So if you're a Kyron manager and you're getting frustrated, they just have overused Kyron Williams. He's obviously still their guy and he had a great game today, but there might be times where he's just not on the field when you want him to be because they have to give him a little bit of rest. And how confident are you in Cooper Cup? Because Heath, it didn't come easily. He had a great game, but it didn't come that easily and last week was a bad game for him. So how confident are you in Cooper cup moving forward?

[Heath]

I think you're still starting Cooper Cup. He's not going to be a top 12 wide receiver for me. Puka is so clearly the number one option and the best wide receiver. And there was a time in this game where it felt like, oh my gosh, Pukinaku is going to score 35 fantasy points and Cooper Cup's not going to be a good start somehow. But he did it. And Stafford's playing outstanding right now. And so you're going to keep starting. I mean just a number two wide receiver instead of a number one.

[Adam]

Who wins the division?

[Heath]

Seattle.

[Jamie]

I agree.

[Heath]

They have no idea what Seattle schedule is.

[Dave]

Yeah, that's. I don't know the schedules, but San.

[Jamie]

Francisco, Green Bay, Minnesota, Chicago, Rams.

[Dave]

That's Seattle's.

2. Yeah, 2. One game over the Rams. All right. I'm going to give it to Seattle.

I think the Rams. Now, you can say the same about the 49ers. I think the Rams, though, would have won the division already if Puka and Cooper cup were healthy all year long.

[Dave]

Right. But yeah, if every team were healthy, I think the Niners would.

[Adam]

Yeah, it's fair.

All right, so does anybody have anything else to say about San Francisco 38 and Chicago 13 our last game? And we have sort of throughout the show talked about most of the pieces in this game.

I think the running back situation is certainly interesting. You know, if, if Grendel's going to miss any time.

He looked good, though, when he, when he did play, he looked really good. Loved his deep catches and targets in the passing game. And obviously physical runner was good in short yardage situations. I just hope he's okay.

[Adam]

If Purdy puts that ball in front of him, he has a touchdown.

[Jamie]

Yep.

But he scored in that play, didn't he?

Yeah, he was scoring that on the. On the catch.
