Hey everyone. I want to share my experience hosting through Airbnb with my brother in Fort Myers, Florida, and why you may want to give hosting a try. A while back, we realized we could turn our guest house into a source of extra income, and it felt like the perfect opportunity to dive into hosting. And honestly, it's been one of the best decisions we've made. Getting started was super easy, and the flexibility is a game changer. We can choose when we want to host, which fits perfect around our schedules. One of our favorite parts about hosting is sharing the local spots with our guests. We love recommending the best beaches, our favorite restaurants, and of course, all the amazing golf courses in the area. Whether it's a cozy seafood spot with waterfront views or the best pizza in town, it's so rewarding to see our guests enjoy all the things we cherish about our community. Hosting has not only allowed us to meet great people, but it has also provided a steady stream of extra income. And it's a fantastic way to make the most of your space and benefit financially at the same time. Your home might be worth more than you think. Find out how much@airbnb.com host Listen, I.

TODAY from CBS Sports. What a play.
Host 2
Can you believe this?
Host 5
No, I can't.
Host 4
It's time to dominate your fantasy.
Host 2
This is going to go the distance.
Host 4
Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath.
Host 2
Oh, no. It's week 14 and we're super worried. It's worryometer Wednesday here on Fantasy Football Today, presented by bet, mgm, the sportsbook born in Vegas. You guys worried today? Who's feeling worried?
Host 5
I'm not worried at all.
Host 4
First, first, first time all season I felt good about fading Derrick Henry.
Host 2
It's kind of been working out lately, right?
Host 5
Yeah, he hasn't quite been as explosive his numbers. Certainly his fantasy production hasn't been as good, but I got a feeling he was just a little tired. Gets the week off, comes back, finishes strong.
Host 2
Oh, it is 14.1 or fewer fantasy points in four straight games. And with three catches last week, by the way, a season high.
Host 4
How many games do you guys have this week? Like, does it feel like the playoffs are starting this week?
Host 5
Yeah, that's fantasy.
Host 2
I'm in seventh or eighth place in three leagues, so. And I'm in, in some leagues. But yeah, no, this is huge, huge week.
Host 4
Like win and get in, lose and go home.
Host 5
Well, what's, what starts now. What have we seen the past couple of years in fantasy where there's like one team that's far and away out of everybody else. One, maybe two teams that just absolutely suck there at the bottom and then everybody else is jumbled together. So of course, you get to the last week of the regular season and there's a ton of meaningful games. Win and get in games, lose and go home. Lose and get help. In our auction league 12 team league, three teams are eliminated, nine teams left for six spots. And I don't think anybody's clinched a seed. One guy's clinched a buy, but no one else has like clinched a seed yet. So it's, it's crazy competitive right now.
Host 2
Well, yeah, it's a big week and this is the second year in a row. Yeah. That it feels like there's so much parity in most of my league. So that's a great thing. That's awesome. And good luck to all of you this week. Okay, quick news and notes. San Francisco as Dave called clam claimed clam clamped Israel. Abnormal is real Abenakanda.
Host 5
No, you just do his last name. I want a band, a candida.
Host 2
What?
Host 5
Why the Niners reached out and grabbed you.
Host 2
There you go. All right. Is anybody reaching out and grabbing him on the waiver wire?
Host 5
I did in our dynasty league.
Host 4
Okay.
Host 5
But this is a 14 team, 32 person roster. Dynasty sitch. I dropped Khan Booty to speculate on. Should I sing it again?
Host 4
If I didn't know that you were like covered in body hair. It really looks like you went shirtless today, Adam.
Host 2
I have gotten that before. Yeah, but you do know that. So Romeo Dobbs still in the concussion protocol and they're. We're previewing that game. They're at Detroit on Thursday. So it was. It's a big deal potentially for Christian Watson. It would be nice if he had a good game, but he played almost every snap last week.
Host 4
Think it's a big deal for Tucker Kraft?
Host 2
It might be. Unfortunately, the Lions I don't have to care about this, but again, we'll talk about it later. Number one against tight ends. They are this just really good against tight ends. But past defense been pretty leaky lately. Pittsburgh edge Alex Highsmith is expected back this week against the Browns. I never really talk about our Facebook page, but we do have a Facebook page. It's just type in fantasy football today on Facebook and it's pretty cool. You get to interact with other FFT listeners and viewers. I'll occasionally post something on there and get your feedback, but we'll do some end of the year voting on superlatives. But join our Facebook page again, just search for fantasy football today on Facebook. Okay. Worryometer Wednesday 0 to 10 on the Worryometer. Let's start with. This is all from Twitter. Garrett Wilson and Debo Samuel. Adam nominated them for the worryometer. Different Adam, but let's start with Garrett Wilson. Three straight games with 9.1 or fewer fantasy points against the Cardinals, Colts and Seahawks. And worryometer for Garrett Wilson.
Host 5
Seven concerned about him. Not like wrangling work away from everybody else in this passing game. Like I think just as far as like pure talent goes. With all due respect to Devonte Adams, Devonte Adams now versus Garrett Wilson now, I would think Garrett Wilson is a more complete receiver, certainly a faster and more explosive receiver and yet he's still not getting the same type of targets that devonte Adams gets. He did get an end zone target last week. I believe he has like one more end zone target than Devonte in their last five games. Something like that.
Host 2
Yeah. So he has five end zone targets. Most of them have been deep balls and.
Host 5
And like the. Just can't connect with Rogers. Rogers straight up missed him on a throw last week. We all talked about that before. I think he's got the upside to do it, but I've got a team where I've got George Pickens, Jacoby Myers and Malik Neighbors and Garrett Wilson's going to be fourth on that list when everybody.
Host 4
I'm giving him one more week and there's a lot of guys because we've got six teams on a buy that I'm just kind of postponing the worry. I'd put him at a three if you want to hear the positive. It's basically the same case that I made last week for Devonte Adams and it's the same case that could have been made two weeks ago for Keenan Allen. While he doesn't have as many targets as Devonte Adams, he does have 24 targets over his last three games. He does have 52 targets over his last six games. Like, that's. That's really fantastic and is a must start wide receiver. Anybody who's being targeted nine times a game is somebody you should just start and expect it's going to get better. And that's what I'm doing with Garrett Wilson this week.
Host 5
Right. But it's been three weeks of that. Like the whole reason why I've ranked him where I've ranked him is, is based on that stat alone. And there were some good matchups in there too. And it's just he's not scoring. And I almost think at this point that I what are the odds that he's going to get triple digits in yardage with Rogers throwing the way that he's throwing right now? I think it's pretty slim. That means he's got to score or he's got to get a ton of touchdowns.
Host 2
Yeah, well, Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 151, 184 and 185 yards in his last three games. But before that he was averaging 231, 234 yards per game in his first nine games. So I know he's bad, but can he just be as bad as he was in his first nine games and not as bad as he's Been in his last three games where he's averaging 5.1 yards per attempt. I feel like if Rogers can just be a little bit better. I know, again, I've. I've. I've put too much faith in the jets offense this year, and it's been to my detriment. But if he can just be a little bit better like he was for the first nine games of the season, as opposed to the garbage he's been for the last three, then I think Garrett Wilson can at least get to like 70 yards.
Host 4
Right? And like. And again, this could be wrong, but when. When there's six teams on a buy, any wide receiver with any quarterback that's seeing nine targets a game should be a starter.
Host 2
No, I'm pretty much. Yeah. I mean, as a Garrett Wilson manager, I agree with that. How about Debo Samuel, though? If we're. If Dave, you're a seven for, and Jamie's here as well as Dave, you're a seven on the wariometer for Garrett Wilson. Where are you for Debo Samuel?
Host 5
Probably closer to an 8. Just because we haven't seen that type of target volume for Debo Samuel, we can. We can hope that he gets more work as a ball carrier with the 49ers running backs being depleted as it is. But I just. I. One of the problems with both of these offenses is that their lines are in bad shape. And so if their offensive lines in bad shape, like, there's going to be production that falls off. It happens every time. And so if the Niners can't get their O line together, then I don't know how much faith I'm going to have in Debo Samuel is anything more than a number three receiver. And to be honest, and. And my worryometer ranking expresses this. I'm much more concerned about Debo than I am. G Dub.
Host 2
Yeah, yeah, yeah. James. Oh, 10 for Heath.
Host 4
So 10 for Debo and like three for Garrett Wilson.
Host 2
But let me ask you this about. About Debo, because I think Heath, you called him a buy low a couple of weeks ago, but that was before the Purdy injury. But I still think you could make that case, right? Because I think you could throw out the last two games. The last, you know, two games ago was Braylon Allen. Last week it was the snow game. Let's say Trent Williams comes back. I mean, isn't that same appeal still there? And now that McCaffrey's out, I think that's probably better for Debo.
Host 4
I'm not dropping him. It's possible, yeah. But like we're talking it's worry. I'm, I'm 100% worried. I could not be more worried about Debo Samuel. And yeah, you could throw out the last two weeks and it still sucks. Yeah, like there's nothing good to point to. I, I, it's just been awful.
Host 2
All right, I'm going to give Jamie the next one. But before we get to Jamie, let's talk about BetMGM. If you haven't signed up for BetMGM yet, still got a lot of football left and you can use the bonus code fantasy and get up to a 1500 first bet offer on your first wager with BET MGM. Download the BET MGM app and sign up using the bonus code Fantasy. Deposit at least $10 and place your first wager on any game and you'll receive up to 1500 dollars in bonus bets if your bet loses. Just make sure you use the bonus code fantasy when you sign up. All right, Jamie. American Girl. Oh, by the way, baller move by Adam Plank who is the one who submitted the Garrett Wilson cd. Garrett Wilson Debo Samuel question and he's in the chat and he says he's up at 7:45 to watch live before class. Good for you, Adam Plank. You're the man.
Host 5
Nice.
Host 2
All right, Jamie. So American Girl says I don't see how the RAN rankings are still so high for CD Lamb and Brian Thomas Jr. With their current quarterback situations on a 0 to 10 scale. What's your woriometer for Brian Thomas Jr. And CD Lamb?
Host 3
Zero.
Host 2
Oh wow. Okay, now I'm going to tell you this. Take out week 13 for Lamb because he left with an injury. Weeks nine through 12. That was most of the Cooper, you know, a little bit of Dak, but mostly Cooper rush per game. He is number 15 per game in PPR but he's number 25 per game and half PPR. And I don't have non PPR but it's worse.
Host 3
So you have sun non sun rankings in there too.
Host 2
Oh, so. Oh, I thought you meant my child. No, but this is, this is a Monday night game. Right. Coming up, so won't be. But just put that in perspective. Not everyone plays in a full PPR league. So Lamb, all he's doing is getting a lot of catches. So did I make you a little bit more worried about Lamb?
Host 3
No. I mean again, I'm still starting him. You know, they're obviously when you do the, the stretch of games there, there's a bunch of random performances I'm sure that have been better than CD Lamb. And so if you're telling me that he's still 25th, I'm still going to start him, you know, so we can't sit here and look at anything other than opportunities. And he's still getting plenty of opportunities, you know, so while his quarterback stinks and he's certainly been downgraded, you know, this was a guy that was considered the number one receiver coming into the season or top. He's gotten the opportunities to still be successful. So he's not going to be as good as he is with a better quarterback. He's still going to be disappointing. But I'm still starting him on a weekly basis. And with Brian Thomas, we've seen now two games of what he's been doing with Mac Jones, and they've still been very good games, you know, so again, this one's a little bit easier to sort of look at because it depends on how you feel about Trevor Lawrence. You know, Trevor Lawrence was not having a great season. He's obviously better for Brian Thomas because he's a better passer. But Mac Jones in the Detroit game and in the week 12 game, excuse me, week 13 game, there's still been positive production for Brian Thomas. So I think it, for me, it more. Look, it's more about who's not there for Jacksonville and the, the targets that he's going to most likely crew plus schedule coming up is very good.
Host 4
I also say, like, in terms of Lamb and I, I, I've kind of taken this whole thing as we're talking for Week 14. The Cincinnati Bengals have surrendered 592 yards to wide receivers in their last three games. 592 to the Steelers, Chargers and Ravens wide receivers.
Host 2
Wow.
Host 4
But like the best pass offenses in the NFL.
Host 2
Yeah. Wow.
Host 4
CD Lamb might be like, he might have 150 yards in this game.
Host 3
Yeah. To be honest, my only concern with CD Lamb is health.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 3
You know, it has nothing to do with the situation because like he said, you know, it's not like he's facing a juggernaut of a defense this week. I am concerned about does he take a shot to the shoulder or land the wrong way and he's off the field.
Host 4
I also think it's interesting in that game, just like talking about the game like, the Bengals pretty much eliminated last week. They're pretty much done. The Cowboys have won two in a row and are still technically in the race.
Host 2
Yeah, they are.
Host 4
They've got a lot more to play for.
Host 3
So the Bengals are still technically in the race. Too.
Host 2
So Bengals by 15. I think that, you know, when you look at, when you look at neighbors, who we're going to talk about and you look at CD Lamb, it's a lot of. It's just so many short targets and that's all it is. You know that. And like Lamb's adot, the last three games has been 6.8, 6.3, 7.9 yards. It's just hard to. He's like, he's like, he's like Wandell Robinson with more targets right now. That's why I don't know where. If he scores and he's getting so many targets, but if he scores, there's always that they haven't scored right. Like Lamb hasn't scored in. Well, he scored one in three games in last three games. No, I don't know. Whatever. Sorry, I'm looking at something else. I was wrong about his adot. I'm sorry I was looking at the wrong date range. Oh, no, it's still, it's been super low. But I don't know. That's just my thing. It's like, yeah, he's getting a lot of targets. That's great. He's getting a lot of catches. That great. That's great. He's not really doing much with them, but I don't know. I, I get it. It's six teams on a buy. I, I think I'm meeting more long term, not necessarily just week 14 for purposes of this show. So if we can just wrap up this conversation, rest of season 0 to 10 on CD Lamb.
Host 3
0.
Host 5
It's going to be like a 5 and non PPR and a 0 and full PPR.
Host 4
Carolina, Tampa, Cincinnati, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia. So I, I'll give it a one just because I'm worried that in the fantasy championship he lets me down. But he's going to dominate those other.
Host 2
Three teams and I think we're all worried about the shoulder, but this is, this is not a conversation about the shoulder. So we'll come right back. We'll talk about K Dot and Ken Walker, Malik, neighbors, James Connor and more after this on Fantasy Football Today.

I've been eating at Chipotle for at least 15 years and for me, chicken burrito, white rice, guac salsa. That's my order. But I tried something new the other day. It's Chipotle's Smoked Brisket and I'll be trying it again and again and again. It's so good, seasoned with Mexican spices and finished with a smoky sauce with Chipotle peppers. It's got so much flavor and it's got spice, but it's not too spicy. Now you trust me for fantasy advice, I give even better food advice. Go get Chipotle Smoked Brisket but Chipotle Smoked Brisket is only here for a limited time, so you need to go try it. It's available in all Chipotle restaurants, the Chipotle app or chipotle.com I'm a changed man. I am a brisket believer. Go get the Chipotle smoked brisket right now. Welcome back. Wariometer Wednesday continues from A.D. donnelly, Kade Otten and Ken Walker. Zero to 10 for Kate Otten and Ken Walker. Let's start with Kate Otten. Heath, where are you on him this week?
Host 4
I'd put him at probably a 2. Facing a mediocre Raiders defense. There's too many teams on a buy. There's no streamers. I would start over them. I'm sticking with K rest of season. I'd probably move him to like a 6 or a 7 and I'm hoping that I can find somebody else to start over him.
Host 2
Okay. All right. So that's pretty clear. He's we're going to start at in this week, but we're going to try to move away from him rest of season. Anyone disagree with that?
Host 5
This is a jobu week for Auden. If he can't, if he can't come through this week and let's just start with six targets, can he get to six targets again? If he can do that, then I'll feel a little bit better about him. But if he doesn't deliver for fantasy purposes, Heath's right. You're going to need another tie.
Host 4
Down seven targets didn't do much for him last week.
Host 5
I know just to get in the ballpark is six targets. So doing that again would help me restore some faith in not.
Host 3
And I don't disagree with anything. I just think we're at the point now where like we were talking about with quarterbacks yesterday, like how many set it and forget it tight ends do we have? How many set it, forget it quarterbacks we have. So for, for Auden, it just feels like he's now part of the group of, you know, the, the mystery bag of tight ends. Like, is he any safer than T.J. hawkinson, than Kyle Pitts, than Sam Laporta, then Tucker Kraft, then, you know, these, these guys that have been Jake Ferguson, you know, who's got a great schedule, hopefully plays. You know, there's just been so many tight ends that, you know, there's, there's not a lot of certainty for. So, you know, to, to, to say you're going to go find another tight end. Maybe Juwan Johnson can get hot. Maybe there's a, there's a grand Calcaterra you know, a couple of weeks. If Dallas Goddard's out, you know, maybe there's, I don't know. I'm trying to think, you know, will this, he's probably gonna get dropped, you know, so maybe he's, he's the, you know, a pivot play. If, if he's still out, there's just not a lot of better options that are going to get six or seven targets and I think he's going to still be there. So he may have another crappy game and then it's just a matter of you're dropping him to go play matchups and he has a bounce back game. You know, I mean it just feels like he's, he's just unfortunately part of the roulette table now that you're stuck with.
Host 2
Okay, how about Ken Walker? I, I talked a lot about him on beyond the box score on Monday. Where are you guys? 0 to 10 on Ken Walker. Who's got Arizona, Green Bay, Minnesota coming up 0 to 10. Dave on Walker.
Host 5
Hold on a sec.
Host 2
The sun, the sun has. Here comes the sun.
Host 5
Now I can get back to business. I'm at like a five with Kenneth Walker. I'm. I don't love how he hasn't been as explosive as he was earlier this year. He's trying to hit the home run all the time. He's not getting there. I feel like the targets and catches have come down a little bit from where they were. There's like a two game spam where he was on fire and I don't love the matchups form moving ahead. That Minnesota one kind of looms large and so I'm still going to start him. Like I know what his upside is and I know he gets a lot of work. I do not like that Zach Charbonnet got short yardage work last week. Don't take that role away from Ken Walker. But they did. I, I think that Walker is decidedly a middle of the pack. Number two fantasy running back over the last five games.
Host 2
He's not even in the top 30 per game over the last eight games. He's number 20 per game, Ken Walker. But he's got touchdown issues and offensive line is absolutely horrible.
Host 3
The comments in the chat are just so good.
Host 2
Yeah, Dave looks like the Terminator after life into retirement. Oh man, it's great. I never change.
Host 3
How is this only happening this year? You've been doing shows from home for.
Host 5
So long, I have absolutely no idea. Nope.
Host 2
All right. This is from Cyber Cleric. Sort of worried about James Connor running out of Gas these last couple of weeks. 0 to 10 guys on James Connor.
Host 3
I mean, just put the Spider man meme on James Connor and Ken Walker. Like it's the same thing. Rewind and just listen to everything Dave said, aside from the Charbonnet stuff. Like, you, you have to be in a pretty good situation to consistently bench James Connor. You know he's going to get touches. I do like the fact that he's still getting some opportunities in passing. And this offense has just been bad, you know, it hasn't been the same offense. I hope going home helps. They've had a tough stretch of. Of some, I think maybe surprising matchups that maybe we didn't anticipate being as difficult as they have been. Seattle, for example, I think is going to be another tough one this week. But Connor, again, it's just. How are you benching him with six teams on a buy?
Host 2
Okay, but. But forget about. I think honestly it's hard to bench a lot of these guys at six teams on a buy. But how worried are you? Rest of season fantasy playoffs are on James Connor.
Host 4
The edge that Connor has over Walker is the fact that when everybody comes back from the buy in week 15, James Conner gets to face the Patriots and then James Connor gets to face the Carolina Panthers and then he faces the Rams. So I think you're probably going to keep starting him for at least the next couple of weeks.
Host 2
Yeah, it's weird. I guess I'm very worried about Ken Walker because it's been an extended slump for him and the offensive line. I mean, not just by my eyes. That's what I noticed watching the last two games of the Seahawks, but also going into Week 13. PFF had them 26th and run blocking. ESPN had them 30th and run block win rate. So Seattle's offensive line is awful. I guess I wasn't as worried about James Connor. Maybe I should be. But he's. He's gets three, four targets a game now and he's really been like a very good running back for a year and a half in a little bit of a slump, but I don't know, like, I'd start him over Walker this week. They're facing each other. Would you guys start?
Host 3
They're basically back to back for me. I just like Walker slightly better.
Host 4
But yeah, I've got Walker. Like it feels more likely that Walker could break off a 75 yard run than James Connor.
Host 2
Yeah. Yeah.
Host 4
So I've got Walker one spot higher. But they're. They're basically the same guy, except that Connor has a better schedule in the playoffs than Walker does. So I like Connor better rest of season. Walker better this week.
Host 2
All right, Neighbors and Tracy from E double Neighbors and Tracy, little Giants duo here. Worryometer. Let's start with neighbors. Worryometer on neighbors.
Host 5
I'm just going to rewind to what Jamie said about CD Lamb. A lot of volume, low a dot except I think his chances of scoring are even lower than Lambs. So wherever you have CD Lamb, put Malik Neighbors a couple let's get some numbers here.
Host 2
Let's stay true to the woriometer six.
Host 5
For neighbors but I'm still going to start him in Peter yeah, I was.
Host 4
Going to say zero. Must start wide receiver.
Host 5
Last seven games and zero in full.
Host 2
Okay. Last seven games, number 42 wide receiver per game in half PPR number 30 wide receiver per game and full PPR his 17 game pace. Malik neighbors in his last seven games, 113 catches, 181 targets. Love that. One thousand and three yards, zero touchdowns and he has one red zone and one end zone target in his last seven games. And this is the weird thing, he is averaging 1.9 yak per catch. He's doing nothing after the catch. He's getting very few downfield passes and since week seven he has the sixth lowest yards per target among all players with 30. I think I did 30 or more targets. That's 70 players.
Host 4
So those all matter a lot more in half ppr and non ppr than they do in full ppr. And I just think like and I know you've said and Dan said yesterday on FFT Dynasty, like I don't know if he's going to score again and he might not. But even players on the worst offense in football if they have 79 targets and zero touchdowns, we expect some positive regression. If you're wide receiver 30 over a stretch like this with zero touchdowns, you're a must start wide receiver.
Host 2
But even though he's averaging so few yards, he and Wandale Robinson are the two least efficient wide receivers in the NFL in since Week 7.
Host 4
It's he's averaged 67 yards per game over this stretch.
Host 2
He's been over that. He has not been more than 71 yards in any, any of those games. I don't think.
Host 4
Okay, so you're not include. I thought we were going back to the touchdown list streak. So you're just including the last six games.
Host 2
Oh, sorry. Okay. Yeah, no, I missed one game before that.
Host 5
Just look at his game since his concussion.
Host 2
No, I was doing Since Andrew Thomas has Been out.
Host 4
Okay.
Host 5
I would do it since the concussion.
Host 2
Same thing, I think. Okay, but. All right. So I guess that's kind of an interesting philosophical question, is like, is there going to be touchdown regression? To what degree? Because the Giants are the worst offense in football. Like I said, he has one red zone and one end zone target. I think I said that in his last seven games.
Host 5
Yuck.
Host 2
That's amazing. Right?
Host 3
The thing I think you got to look at when we talk about players like this that are struggling, you know, so look at the players who are playing well right now. Right. Is anybody in any scenario playing Elijah Moore over Malik Neighbors?
Host 2
No, but I would start Judy over him.
Host 3
Judy's different story. Would you start Nick Westbrook Akin over. No, like this. This is what. This is what we deal with because the. The success rate probably says you play the player who's hot.
Host 2
Yeah, well. Well, Dave mentioned Jacoby Myers earlier. I forget who. You said you were benching Garrett Wilson for Pickens.
Host 5
And I've got. Yeah, I've got Neighbors and Garrett Wilson on the same team.
Host 2
Yes.
Host 3
I would start Judy and Myers over Malik Neighbors as well. There are certainly scenarios of benching these guys. It's rare, you know, that you're going to have these perfect scenarios of these, you know, players who have been showing you something over. Over a decent stretch. And maybe Elijah Moore deserves that credit. You know, I mean, he's. He's been better than Malik Neighbors for, you know, about six weeks now. So, you know, certainly the James Winston games, the five games that James has started, that. That whole span. So you can make the case for some of these guys over, you know, so Neighbors and Lamb. I just don't think anybody's gonna do it. You know, the start percentages. Don't. Don't suggest that.
Host 4
That's the interesting thing is actually since week eight, which I've found the stretch that Adam was looking at, Neighbors is wide receiver 30 at 13.5 fantasy points per game. Elijah Moore is wide receiver 35 at 13 fantasy points per game. And like, to the point Adam, if. If you only think he should have scored one touchdown over that stretch, which would still be an exceptionally low, like, that makes him tied for wide receiver 21. Touchdown.
Host 2
Yeah. Someone's asking JSN or neighbors. I mean, we're going JSN at this point.
Host 5
We're going JSN.
Host 4
I've got neighbors.
Host 2
Got Neighbors. Okay. I just. Yeah. I mean, the Giants offense has been so unbelievably bad. It. But okay. Tyrone Tracy was the other one zero to ten on the wariometer for Tracy, zero.
Host 3
He's three.
Host 5
He's their main back now. Still capable of putting up some good numbers even with this offense being what it is. And he's finding the end zone.
Host 2
Okay. All right. And by the way, he leads the team in red zone targets.
Host 4
Yeah. If we're talking rest of season, then I think I'm probably more like a 5 on Tyrone Tracy because it like we did see a pretty good split last week with him in Singletary. I don't know that just because the fourth quarter favored Tracy that, I mean, Singletary is back out. Singletary got the start and got more work than he'd had since Tracy took the job. And week one of the fantasy playoffs, Tracy has to face the Baltimore Ravens. Like, he might not score you any points in the, in the fantasy playoffs.
Host 2
I don't think Tracy had a single touch in the second half. But you're right. I mean, we hate that Ravens matchup for Tracy. Okay, next up is. We'll go faster here, guys. We got to get to our Thursday night game. Scott Morrow says he's worried about all Falcons Pass Catchers 0 to 10 on the Falcons Pass Catchers, 0 on Drake.
Host 3
London, 10 on Kyle Pitts, 5 on Mooney.
Host 5
Sure, I might go a little higher on Mooney, but for the most part I agree. But Cousins looks terrible. The line only gave up one sack, but Cousins was under pressure a ton. And then on the interceptions that he had when he wasn't under pressure, that, that was alarming. Like the fact that he's throwing the, you know, wide open Chargers in the end zone is never a good thing. I hope he snaps out of it, but I just, I, I, there's been way too much up and down with Cousins to make me feel good about him supporting multiple pass catchers in this offense. I think it's all London. And I don't really feel good about Mooney at this point. Boom, bus receiver.
Host 3
I almost wonder if it's better if he keeps this update because then maybe we see Penix and maybe Penix is better for these guys at this point.
Host 2
I mean, this is, I don't know.
Host 5
Penix plays until they're out of playoff contention.
Host 2
I mean, I just want to say Darnell Mooney had three good games in a row. 18.6, 19.8, 14.6 fan fantasy points. And he had a bad game against the Chargers. But I mean, I think feel like maybe an overreaction to one bad game.
Host 3
It could, it could, it could also be, you know, he wasn't fully over the hamstring injury. I know he practiced in full, had the bye week in there. But who knows with Mooney? I just think with these next couple of games, certainly this week, I mean, you know, this is, this is his game, you know, going back to Minnesota and you know, facing a secondary that gives up a lot of production to receivers, you know, so no matter what Cousins does, hopefully, you know, he's, he's still getting his guys opportunities to make plays. So I think, I think again, this is a week with six teams on a buy. You're probably starting darn on Mooney certainly through your receiver leagues. Pitts is, I think an easy guy to go like, you know, go back to the Kden conversation. To me, I'd rather have on 10 out of 10 than copies at this point. You know, I would, I would play Capatero over pits this week.
Host 2
All right, let's do one more here. Chuba Hubbard. Chuba Hubbard with 12 carries for 43 yards. He had the fumble and he's at Philadelphia this week. Alex wants to know your worryometer. Heath on Chuba Hubbard.
Host 4
Seven and a half. Like I think the carries were not the big concern. It's that Jonathan Brooks had all three running back targets. And if Chuba Hubbard is not getting passing game work like it, I'd like, I'd love to sit Chuba Hubbard this week. I can't find 24 running backs that I want to start with Chuba Hubbard. So I'm probably still starting him this week. The schedule is kind of mediocre. It's just. Was what we saw in the passing game by design or just a random week where Chuba Hubbard didn't get any targets because we had a couple of those earlier in the year where Miles Sanders had six or seven targets. Chuba had zero targets in a game and the next week he had two, then he had three, then he had six. He had zero targets in a game earlier, then he had five and five and four in the. So this week will kind of tell us. But if, if Brooks gets all the passing downs work again or at least all the targets again, then I'm, I'm going to be very concerned.
Host 2
Okay. Last one is from Sean. He says, I'm worried about Rob Manfred, commissioner of Major League baseball. Must have hit himself in the head practicing his golf swing to suggest that dumb golden at bat rule. Are you guys?
Host 4
No, nobody has any idea what you're talking about.
Host 2
Oh, really? So it's been brought up to have a golden at bat where a team would be allowed to put any hitter up at any point in the game.
Host 4
So like in the playoffs when it was Aaron Judge's turn to hit, they could sub somebody else in.
Host 2
Exactly. Okay, they could. And they, they had to be someone on the Yankees. It couldn't be like the red hot Bobby Wood Jr. Who was so good in the playoffs. But yes, like 9th inning, your number nine hitters up. Bam. You can put Shohei Otani up instead or something like that.
Host 3
It's so stupid.
Host 2
It's, it's insane. I mean, it's intriguing, but like, baseball's got to be on life support for them to consider something like this. Come on now.
Host 3
I, I don't know. I mean, I'm aware of the rule. I just don't know the specifics. So if, let's just say, for example, Juan Soto's on base and they want him to hit again.
Host 4
Oh, that's a ghost runner.
Host 2
That's a question. I don't.
Host 3
So they pinch run for him and then he goes back up to hit.
Host 2
I doubt that. Because pinch running for him would take him out of the game. I, I think.
Host 3
No, it take the guys.
Host 2
No.
Host 3
Or not.
Host 5
For a golden at bat or whatever this thing is.
Host 2
I feel like if you've already been subbed out of the game, you probably can't be available for the golden at bat. That's just my, my guess.
Host 3
No, no, he wouldn't be stuck out of the game.
Host 4
We've spent a full 60 seconds long running.
Host 2
Yeah. If you pinch run for him, he's out of.
Host 3
No, no, he. So I don't remember the Yankees batting order, but Soto gets on base. Stanton's up and then, and then Judges Judge get strikes out. They want to hit for Stanton. Right. So Judge is on first base.
Host 2
Oh, oh, oh. So Soto's already been retired.
Host 3
No, no, no, forget Soto, okay? The player you want to be the golden hitter.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 3
Is on first base. He just got a hit.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 3
You want him to hit again?
Host 2
Yeah. I'm guessing you can't do that.
Host 3
Okay.
Host 2
Because if you pinch run for him, he's out of the game.
Host 4
This is like, this is not going to happen.
Host 2
I hope not. This thing we're here, this is. You don't understand. This is the most buzzed about thing in sports right now. Everyone is talking about it, including us.
Host 5
Is the equivalent to this for fantasy. Taking somebody who's on your bench that went off and putting them in your lineup after they've gone off, I feel.
Host 2
Like that's like putting someone in your bench in your LineUp in the fourth quarter and replacing an injured player or something like that.
Host 3
I think it's actually what probably makes more sense is if your best player in the one o'clock games, you can then use his score in the 4:00 games. Like you could take his score, double it.
Host 2
But you guys, I can't know the outcome. It's like, yeah, you could take a 4 o'clock player and sub them in for a 1 o'clock player. But it's gotta be before the game starts.
Host 3
So.
Host 2
Yeah. All right, Gold. Yeah. The golden, the golden bench spot. We're gonna take a break and come back and talk about the packers and the Lions fired up for this one. Kyle Long here and I wanted to tell you about my love affair with Travis Matthew. They have the full package of comfort, versatility and look. I played offensive line in the NFL, so finding clothing that meets the criteria often isn't easy. But Travis Matthew, they nailed it. There's a couple of products I'd like to hit on that carry me from the couch to the studio to the course, even to our favorite restaurants. First up, the deserted cove polo. I live in Florida now. I can golf year round and it's always hot. But this polo keeps me cool on the course when I'm waxing Mike Renner. But it also works if I'm in the studio for the show or running around with the kids. Next up, The Cloud Quarter Zip 2.0 my favorite. Like I said, I live in Florida, but I travel to New York every weekend to talk football and this is the perfect piece of clothing for the fall in New York shoot. It's so comfortable I even wear it on the plane. It's famously soft and offers couch worthy comfort but a street worthy style. And lastly, we can't forget about the pants. The Open to Close Tech Chino is the ultimate grab and go pant that screams casual versatility at its finest. These are unique because they're slightly tapered at the leg, but keep the feel you love around the waist. So if you're looking for the blend of comfort, versatility and look, visit travismathew.com Travis Matthew even offers free shipping and free returns for TravisMathew Rewards members. Nah nah nah nah nah nah.
Host 2
All right. The last time the Lions and Packers Met it was 24:14 Detroit, but the weather was pretty crummy. Jared Goff threw for 145 yards. Jordan Love did throw for 273 yards. But the weather will be beautiful in the Dome. So are we feeling like a big high scoring game here? Feeling good Starting just about everyone?
Host 5
Yep. I think it helps that the Lions have some significant injury concerns coming out of their Thanksgiving game. They lost Malcolm Rodriguez to a torn ACL. They've lost a couple of potentially three defensive linemen for this game, including D.J. reader. He hasn't practiced this week. There's a chance that Reader goes and that would be good for the Lions both against the run and the pass. But Onzurike, I think I'm saying that kind of right. And then Pascal are two linemen that weren't necessarily like dominant players for them, but they helped replace Aiden Hutchinson and they haven't practiced this weekend. I don't think either one is expected for this game. And the packers offensive line has done a better job protecting Jordan Love as of late. So I think that there's going to be room here for this game to be high scoring and kind of exactly what we need for fantasy.
Host 3
I love this game, absolutely love this game. Love, Jordan Love. I think it's going to be potentially a big game for one of Watson or Wicks depending on Romeo Dobbs situation. Yeah, the Lions are going to have to score, which is always great.
Host 2
There are some tough calls though because like, you know, Jordan Love against a team that's giving up the six fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks and throw out the window.
Host 3
They're so beat up.
Host 2
Yeah, Love, but Love hasn't been great lately. But he hasn't thrown lately. He's got 28 or fewer pass attempts in three straight games.
Host 3
So I think Vegas has this one nailed. The highest scoring projected game in the week. I think we're going to get it.
Host 2
Heath, as I looked at your rankings yesterday, it seemed like you were the low guy on love. 15th.
Host 4
That sounds right. That's probably a little bit low, but it is factoring in like the pass rate has been low for the Packers. The past totals have been low for Love. He's done almost nothing as a rusher this year, so that's pretty much completely disappeared. And on paper it's not a particularly good matchup. I'd be interesting to see how many of those Lions defensive players are going to miss this week. And it is the highest over under on the slate. It's. I think it's the highest implied total for the lions, who are three and a half point favorites. They've got a 27 and a half point total, 24 points for the packers, which is fine. I think Love's a borderline QB1 kind of like he's been all year.
Host 2
I was thinking along the lines of Jamie goes like, oh, okay, well he's gonna have to throw a lot in this game. They're going to give up points. What I did notice though is that over the last three games where the packers have not thrown the ball, they're. They have the second lowest pass rate in football. But you look at their games, they've, you know, they've been winning, they've been kind of blowing. They blew out San Francisco, they more or less blew out Miami, but they also have the second lowest pass rate in the first half of those three games. So kind of Interesting. But you know what? Like. But even with that, like, Jordan Love still playing pretty well. He scored 22 or more points in. In two of the last three games. So, okay, so Dave's right in the middle. He has love 11th. Jamie has him eighth. What about golf? You know, golf is interesting because this team could score a lot of points, and you never know how it's going to look for Jared Goff, Dave. So starter, sit golf. And how would you compare him to Love?
Host 5
I put golf a notch ahead of Love. I think that he's got a chance to go out and hit his ceiling against Green Bay and Packers. Defense just overall hasn't been that amazing. They can be competitive, but they don't necessarily get after the quarterback like other teams do. I know that Taylor Decker is not going to play again, but he didn't play last week. Think Lions did just fine without him with Dan Skipper playing left tackle. And I think Jared Goff has a little bit more upside than Jordan Love. So if I'm choosing between those two, I'm taking golf.
Host 4
I've moved love up to 12. So I've got golf at 11, love at 12. There's only one quarterback on the waiver wire that I'd start over. Both of them.
Host 2
Jameis.
Host 4
Yeah.
Host 2
Okay.
Host 5
I'm not there yet.
Host 2
Would you guys start Justin Herbert at the Chiefs or quarterback in this game?
Host 5
Quarterback in this game?
Host 4
Both quarterbacks.
Host 2
Both quarterbacks in this game. Would you start Caleb Williams at the Niners or the quarterbacks in this game?
Host 3
Quarterbacks in this game.
Host 5
I'd be tempted to go with Caleb over Love if I knew that the 49ers defense was just as beat up as it's been over the past couple of weeks.
Host 2
Right. We may not know that obviously, by Thursday. Right. Last one is Purdy. Purdy or these guys.
Host 3
These guys Pretty scares me.
Host 4
These guys.
Host 5
I probably should have it. These guys over Purdy.
Host 2
These guys. So the running back rank. The running backs.
Host 5
Jacobs, Montgomery, Gibbs.
Host 2
Whoa.
Host 4
I've got a Jacobs, Gibbs. Montgomery.
Host 2
Whoa.
Host 3
Jamie, I said Jacobs, Gibbs, Montgomery.
Host 2
Whoa. Okay. Jacobs won. Not worried about the match up here.
Host 3
Not anymore.
Host 5
No. No. Especially if there's no DJ Reader. Wednesday will be an important day. If Reader doesn't practice on Wednesday.
Host 3
I mean, even if Reader plays, they're down. Still defensive lineman. They're down. Now their second middle linebacker. I mean, this is. This is trouble.
Host 5
Sure. It's true. And that's why I'm still going to like Jacobs no matter what. But, man, the floodgates could open if there's no reader clogging up the middle of that line.
Host 2
More than 20 fantasy points in five of his last six games. That's Josh Jacobs, including good run defenses. Houston and Miami. Though he didn't really run very well against Miami. He had four catches for 74 yards. All right, so. And. But these guys are all like, must starts.
Host 4
Yep.
Host 2
Okay, so let's get to the tight ends, then we'll spend more time on the wide receivers. Which tight end do you prefer? Tucker Kraft against the team that is giving up the fewest fantasy points? Two tight ends, in fact, including Tucker Kraft, who had four catches for 34 yards against Detroit? Or Sam Laporta, who is scoring touchdowns lately? It's a tough call. Who do you guys like better, Craft or Laporta?
Host 3
Laporta.
Host 5
I'm. I agree.
Host 4
I have Craft one spot higher. If Romeo Dobbs is out, I will take Laporta over Kraft. If Dobbs is back.
Host 2
Are they top 10 guys this week?
Host 4
12 is.
Host 3
Craft is like 11.
Host 2
Okay. So would you start them over? Are there any streamers? Will Disley or.
Host 5
Nah.
Host 4
Jake Ferguson cleared?
Host 3
Yes. I would start Schoolmaker or Ferguson over crack this week.
Host 2
Starting these guys over Pitts.
Host 4
Oh, yeah.
Host 3
Oh, yeah.
Host 2
How about Hawkinson against the Falcons?
Host 5
Yep. Starting. I've got. I've got Laporta over Hawkinson and I've got Hawkinson a spot over Kraft. If there's no Dobbs, then Craft makes sense.
Host 3
And people, I have both over Hawkinson right now. I would put Hawkinson over Kraft. If Dobbs plays.
Host 4
I've got Hawkinson over both.
Host 2
All right, wide receivers. Is Amon Ross St. Brown the only. I think you're gonna say no, but I'll ask it. Is he the only must start wide receiver in this game?
Host 3
Yes. Yeah.
Host 2
Oh, okay. I thought maybe you were going to say Jaden Reed is a must start, but.
Host 3
No, read it. I mean, look, you're probably starting Reed.
Host 5
Three receiver leaks. Sure.
Host 3
It's. It's just one of those things. I. I would not be surprised if there's a Watson game. If it's a Wicks game, if it's a, you know, read game. Look, they're. They're all sort of interchangeable at this point. Reed is the safest because he's been the most productive. But you know how many catches you have last week? Three.
Host 2
He had three catches for 24 yards and two touchdowns. Right.
Host 4
He has one game with more than three catches since October 13th.
Host 2
Wow.
Host 5
Yuck.
Host 2
Now, if you look at his game log, Jaden Reed's game Log and Jordan loves game log. It's not a 100 correlation but usually when Jordan Love is really good, Jaden Reed is really good too. So I, you know that kind of makes sense, right? They just haven't, they haven't been that great of. They haven't been a very prolific passing offense lately.
Host 4
So you're like. Yeah, like I guess we're counting last week is really good.
Host 2
No, not really.
Host 4
Okay.
Host 2
I wasn't really counting that. What did Love throw for last week? Decent amount of yards, right?
Host 3
Yes.
Host 2
274. Yeah. Okay. I mean you could, you know, 274 and 2. The yards were very low for, for.
Host 3
Reed but I think on the first play of the game for a huge play, like there's going to be some better, you know, less touchdown, more, more catch yard game for him. Could be this week again. I don't think a lot of people are saying Jadery, he's coming off a two touchdown game. He's playing Detroit. It's expected to be a shootout like it most likely to be in everybody's lineup.
Host 4
I, I think he's a coin flip with Jameson Williams. I've gotten one spot ahead of Jameson Williams, but they're Both like number three wide receivers who could be top 12 this week and could score four points.
Host 2
Would you start Reed or Jameson over, you know, Malik Neighbors or CD Lamb?
Host 4
No.
Host 3
No, no.
Host 2
Okay. Would you start them over Christian Watson?
Host 4
Yes.
Host 5
Yeah.
Host 3
But to me Watson and Williams are closer.
Host 5
Correct. They're literally back to back for me too. I like Williams and not tire. And again, like if Jordan Love's not going to get pressured, that gives him time to sit in the pocket an extra second and unload deep and that would absolutely help Christian Watson.
Host 4
It is funny though because like Jameson Williams is the high target guy of this group.
Host 5
That's true.
Host 2
Yeah. He's got, he's got seven or more. Let's see, he's five to seven targets four straight games. Sorry. Yeah, I wish Christian Watson was doing more. Go look at his game log. He's really not having a good year.
Host 5
Well, when he's catching deep passes, he's, he's putting up decent numbers and when he's not, he's, he stinks.
Host 4
He, he's just a poor man's Calvin Ridley. Right.
Host 5
At this point he might be a poor man's Nick Westbrook. Akina.
Host 4
His, his ADOT is 18.8 this season.
Host 3
Probably a poor man's MVS.
Host 2
Oh gosh.
Host 4
I mean basically. Yes, he's.
Host 2
Yeah. Okay. So Jameson, how Okay, how about this. How many Bears wide receivers are you starting over Jameson Williams?
Host 3
Two.
Host 5
Two for sure.
Host 4
Yep.
Host 2
If Cedric Tillman gets in full practice on Thursday, it looks like he's going to play against the Steelers. At the Steelers, how many Browns receivers are you starting over? Jaden. Jaden Reed and Jameson Williams.
Host 3
One over Reed and two over Williams.
Host 4
It's two over both. Either way. For me, it's either Judy and Moore or Judy Untilman.
Host 5
Yeah.
Host 2
I think just on an aside, I couldn't believe how many leagues Cedric Tillman was available in in our leagues because we don't have, you know, you know, a lot of guys on waivers.
Host 3
I dropped him in two.
Host 2
Okay, well, that must be it. I. He's, you know, his number's pretty good when. When he's been on the field with Jameis.
Host 4
I think the problem is, like, we had a three for 47. Yeah, we had a two for 28. And then he misses a game. And this is a guy that's had three good games in his life.
Host 2
Yeah, I know.
Host 4
So he gets dropped.
Host 2
But he got. But he got hurt in the 2 for 48 game. But. All right, let's see. Jordan Love or Justin Hurt. Well, I think we answered this one, but Jordan lover, Justin Herbert Love. Go through the chat here. Jaden Reed or Juwan Jennings.
Host 3
Great.
Host 5
I'll take Jennings and ppr.
Host 4
I have Jennings. One spot ahead of Reed. One spot ahead of Jameson Reed or Debo.
Host 2
Samuel.
Host 3
Reed Reed.
Host 5
I have Debo. A spot ahead of Jaden Reed.
Host 2
Nick Westbrook, Akina or Jameson Williams?
Host 3
Jameson.
Host 5
I have Jameson.
Host 2
Marvin Harrison Jr. Or Jameson Williams.
Host 5
Marmon.
Host 2
Jameson Williams or Thielen. And that's it.
Host 5
I'm feeling higher in full ppr.
Host 2
Oh, okay. How about that? And that's it for Thursday Night Football. I need one second here. Talk amongst yourselves while I cue up some music.
Host 5
Oh, he's about to play a game. I thought it was another Azer game.
Host 4
No, we don't. We can't play that song anymore, can we? I was hoping it was Fantasy Cups.
Host 2
It is. It's Fantasy Cops. We're doing the Fantasy Cops play.
Host 4
The old fantasy cop song.
Host 2
What's the old fantasy.
Host 4
Oh, we're going to mount up and regulate.
Host 2
No, that one we can't play. All right, Fantasy Cops. Got a couple of entries here. This one comes from Brendan, by the way. Email us at fantasy footballbs I.com the letter I. That's for anything fantasy cops or otherwise. Put fantasy cops in the subject line, though. Brendan says we have an issue in our Guillotine League. There were four managers left. One manager had Pacheco in his IR spot. He proceeded to leave Pacheco in his IR spot even after the Friday Las Vegas Kansas City game had started. He was also clearly aware that Pacheco was active but didn't want to drop him, therefore keeping his four players on the bench plus Pacheco in the IR spot. He argued that this was a strategy move, but clearly it was an illegal lineup, it did not affect his playing roster, and he moved on by six points. What should be the repercussions for keeping Pacheco on ir? He has no fab budget left. The other managers have zero and six dollars respectively. And he does have the highest waiver wire priority. What would you do?
Host 4
I would take Isaiah Pacheco from him.
Host 3
Yes.
Host 2
Seems tough, but fair. Dave, you good with that?
Host 5
Not really. I might take a player from him. It might be a player of the commissioner's choosing, but that needed to be made made clear to the manager before he decided to illegally stash Pacheco.
Host 4
The problem, in my opinion, is like, don't just shut up. Don't talk when you're interrogated. He should have never said that this was a strategy move. He should have said, oh, I'm sorry. That's what he should have said.
Host 5
He said.
Host 4
But he said it was a strategy move that expresses intent and he must be punished.
Host 2
Yeah, I. I think he should. Should he have to drop Pacheco or should he have to, you know, make the claim, make. Make the move of. Activate Pacheco, drop someone before waivers run. It's probably too late now if you.
Host 5
Really wanted to be tough without cutting Pacheco, because I think cutting Pacheco is. Is a bridge too far. You can let him drop a player and then enforce that he cannot use Pacheco this coming week.
Host 2
I like to just take Pacheco, cut Pacheco. All right, next up, we have Jeremy. Needs help from the fantasy cops. Playoffs were set to begin in week 14. I usually make preemptive moves and beat the waiver wire, but I was pretty sure I'd win week 13 and get the quarterfinal by in week 14. So I took a risk and didn't pick up any subs from my quarterback, Lamar Jackson in week 14, my kicker Kaimi Fairbairn, and my DST, the Commanders. I won and I was looking forward to a week off and a chance to Prepare for week 15. And then at midnight Monday, literally two days before the playoffs begin, the commissioner changed the settings, pushing the playoffs back to week 15. Now I have to suddenly scramble and burn the number one waiver claim I've held onto for most of the season to adapt to the last second rule change, which was never discussed or announced to the league before I got the notification that the commissioner had changed the settings. Granted, it's better that the playoffs begin in week 15 instead of 14, but that should have been remedied before the 11th hour of week 13. The commissioner made a mistake when setting up the league, but at this point, I believe the solution is worse than the problem, especially for those of us who paid attention to the settings and planned accordingly. Anybody who didn't consider the playoff schedule was given a gift. While I have to drop three players to sub for one week that wasn't on the schedule last night and possibly lose my two seed and the buy. It's Monday as I type this, and probably too late, but I could use a third party objective opinion since I seem to be the outsider and the only manager affected negatively.
Host 3
This is awful.
Host 5
Yeah.
Host 2
Whoops.
Host 3
Absolutely awful.
Host 4
So, yeah, first, you're going to strip him of his commissionership, and second, you're going to kick him out of the league.
Host 2
He made it a mistake. He set up the league to the playoffs to start in week 14. Then he changed it to week 15. But right at the. At the wrong time.
Host 4
Everybody's like, everybody agrees with me in the chat. You can't. This guy cannot be commissioner anymore.
Host 5
No, can't do it.
Host 3
Cannot be commissioner anymore. And you got to let it stand. Unfortunately, yeah, it's got to go back to week 14.
Host 2
You guys are wrong. Because as a bad commissioner, you don't know what. You don't know what it's like to be a bad commissioner. But I do. I should have been stripped of commissionership of our big burger dynasty league several times. Yeah, but it's a learning experience.
Host 3
You mean when you ran waivers without telling you?
Host 4
It's a learning experience. You're in year 16 of hosting a fantasy football show, running a dynasty. You're not some noob who doesn't know.
Host 2
What he's doing running a dynamic league.
Host 4
The league is hosted on the site you work for.
Host 2
Running a dynasty league is tough. There are a lot of things that you don't anticipate that come up and you have to learn on the fly. It's a learning experience. I've never been a commissioner of a dynasty league before. Now this is not a dynasty. But this was an honest mistake. You have to allow commissioners to make mistakes. We can't just kick People out of being commissioned.
Host 3
No, no, no that you, you allow them to make mistakes. You don't allow them to fix their mistakes mid season.
Host 5
So what should be done or the week before it?
Host 3
If so, I, I'll give you, I'll give you example. I set up a league, a charity league and most 10 team leagues I've ever done, they only do four teams make the playoffs. I realized two weeks ago I never changed the default settings. So six teams make the playoffs. I'm not changing it to make it four teams make the playoffs. I'm allowing all six teams to make the playoffs because that's how I set up the league, unfortunately. So because I made a mistake, I'm not going to change what would normally be done. In the case of this. They, they have this set up to be 14. Week 14 as the playoffs. That's when the playoffs are starting. I'm sorry, you can't change that because. Let me guess. I'm sure it wasn't in there. The commissioner probably has a chance now to make the playoffs if he wins or she wins and gets in week 15.
Host 4
I would guess so. And Thomas, another excellent point in the private chat about Adam's commissioning BS. That's 100% true. 100% true. Okay, let's. Let's look at the facts.
Host 2
Hold on. Can we get back to this real quick?
Host 3
Yes.
Host 2
I propose 100% sure. I propose for this commissioner, for this commissioner in the league that we're talking about to start, you know, to start the playoffs in week 15. But give Jeremy the number one waiver claim back because he doesn't deserve to lose that. He kept it the whole season in anticipation of the playoffs. He should get that back in, in week, in week 15. That's what I think should happen now.
Host 4
It's an awful, awful rule.
Host 5
At least put it up to a vote in the league. Well it sounds like unilaterally change it. The problem is that more people are.
Host 3
Going to vote for week 15.
Host 5
Yeah, that's true. But at least in that case the league speaks. And it's not one person deciding on behalf of everybody else in the league.
Host 2
The league. The playoffs can't start in week 14. Like.
Host 3
But that's what they said it to.
Host 5
Be what they are in the FFC open.
Host 2
Nobody like and I. It was a mistake. You can't start the playoffs. I know in the FFT open it has to be that way because it's a tournament. But in a regular league you had six teams on a buy. You can't start the playoffs this week.
Host 3
But they should have realized this weeks ago, not the week before.
Host 2
They didn't. So what do you do? Do you continue a stupid thing or.
Host 3
Do you make it a better manager? Managed his team purposely for this.
Host 2
Why? You give him the. You give him the number one waiver claim. You give him the number one waiver claim, you give it back to him.
Host 5
And what if there's another manager in the league that did the exact same thing? Number two.
Host 2
Yeah, sure.
Host 5
He can't be the only one that.
Host 2
You're right.
Host 5
Saw the rules and acted accordingly.
Host 2
Keep the waiver claims in the same order, then that's fine. But the playoffs cannot start in week 14. That is off. That is awful. You can't have the playoffs in Week 14.
Host 4
The playoffs start in Week 14 in.
Host 2
A lot of leagues, in tournaments, not in regular fantasy leagues.
Host 4
Perfectly fine.
Host 3
No, they're. Everybody knows we're adjusted for week 18. They. They kept it 14, 15.
Host 4
Perfectly fine.
Host 2
As long as everyone seen a single email from. From our listeners to say, I'm in the playoffs this week. Everyone's playoffs start next week.
Host 4
We actually had someone comment in the chat at the beginning of the stream saying, my playoffs start this week. I just barely made it. And people told him, congratulations.
Host 2
Okay, honestly, I would. The vast, vast. You know, this is true. The vast majority of the people listening or watching this podcast, they start. They start next week, right? Like, yeah, playoffs are week 15.
Host 3
The majority. Yes.
Host 2
I would rather.
Host 4
I would guess. I would venture to guess that all of their rules said at the beginning of the year that the playoffs started in week 15.
Host 2
I get that. So you guys are saying that they should start the playoffs right now in week 14.
Host 3
Yes, because that's what they set up for. Decided when they set up the league.
Host 2
But he already changed it. Like, the guy already changed it to week 15. And then.
Host 3
We're not changing it.
Host 2
We did it.
Host 3
We feel like.
Host 2
All right, I. Look, I think that he's. Since he's already gone and done it, we're sticking with it. Like you're telling this commissioner to start the playoff. It's too late to start.
Host 4
The commissioner's not going to listen to us. This damage has been done. It's going to start in week 15. It stinks. You can't let this guy ever be commissioner again.
Host 2
Okay, I'm saying that because he's already.
Host 3
I'm trying to find a solution for Jeremy. I think your solution for Jeremy is fair, if, in fact, he's the only one that was impacted by this and his waiver claims are going to be screwed up as a result of it. So if the way to appease everybody is to allow his waiver claims to go through and then he gets back to his same waiver spot because he managed it this way, that seems like a rational thing to do.
Host 5
There's going to be other managers in the league that aren't going to be okay with that, though.
Host 2
So J Kid in our chat says, my playoffs start this week, and it's created terrible effects in one of my leagues. The commissioner failed to adjust these settings, and everyone, literally everyone in my league wanted to change it. So why not change it? I don't understand.
Host 5
Right, so that's an example of. If a league votes for it and it's a huge majority, then go for it. Change it. But this commissioner didn't do that. This commissioner just changed it on his own.
Host 4
You can't change the playoffs, like, literally the week that the playoffs start.
Host 5
Not unless the rest of the league is on board. If the rest of the league is on board, then you can.
Host 2
There's six teams on a buy this week. Why would we have a playoff matchup this week? Week.
Host 5
No, I agree. It's dumb, but that's how they had it set up.
Host 2
Yeah. All right. I. I feel like there's a compromise to do the right thing and start the playoffs in week 15 while also. Even.
Host 4
Even giving him the number one waiver spot. He has three players on a buy this week. It's not like the giving him the number one waiver spot's not going to fix.
Host 3
Well, one's a kicker. I mean, he can get by with that. What do you say? Quarterback, Kicker.
Host 5
Quarterback, kicker and dst.
Host 2
Yeah, but. But also, like, he's benefited so much from having Lamar Jackson, who hasn't had his buy yet, like, he deserves to have his quarterback have a buy. Everyone should have their quarterback at.
Host 4
Wasn't the league rules.
Host 3
Oh, my God. You're penalizing it for the players he drafted.
Host 2
No, no, I'm just saying that it's. He. Every player should have a bye week, you know, and you would if you started the playoffs in week 15. It's not this guy. It's not Jeremy's fault. But obviously Jeremy's getting screwed here. But the intent.
Host 4
No, it's the commissioner's fault.
Host 2
It is the commissioner's fault.
Host 5
It's definitely the commissioner's fault.
Host 2
But you don't double down on the commissioner's mistake. Like the commissioner made a mistake. He had the league set up wrong. I still think the best thing to do is start the playoffs in week 15. Personally, obviously, you guys, even if he.
Host 4
Realized it Monday night. Yeah, that's terrible.
Host 2
I just.
Host 3
I agree with you. It just not be happening now. Like, if the rules were set in place, this can't be the only person who noticed it.
Host 2
Well, I would like to know a little bit more about how the rest of the.
Host 5
Right. The whole league needs to know about it. The whole league needs to act on it, and then they can probably find a solution from there. And the playoffs can start in week 15. The commissioner needs to take that step right now.
Host 2
Yeah, it's probably too late, unfortunately, but. All right, so just to be clear, the playoffs should start in Jeremy's league where it was set to week 14, and then on Monday night, the commissioner changed it to Week 15. The playoffs should start in what week.
Host 4
When it was originally scheduled.
Host 2
Heath says 14. Dave 14, James 14.
Host 5
Unless the league agrees to move it.
Host 4
Back to 50, 100 degrees. Right.
Host 5
Yeah. I mean, listen, Jeremy's not going to agree, so. But he's. He has to. If they. If they throw him the bone that you suggested at him and everyone else agrees, then move Forward into Week 15. But short of something like that, I think you got to stick with what the rules said.
Host 2
Most people agree with you guys. Obviously, I'm on my island here. I just feel like we all know the playoffs should ideally start in week 15, if you can do it so you're not screwing over the manager who planned for it to be in week four, week 14, Jeremy, in this case, then it's better to make it in week.
Host 3
So if you give him. If you give him Jameis Winston and kicker in defense of his choice without moving, losing his waiver wire claim, you're fine with that?
Host 2
I'm not giving him any waiver claim he wants this week. I'm just letting him keep the number one waiver claim for week 15. Like he's.
Host 5
We're reading this two days later. Waivers have probably already run.
Host 2
I know that's the issue here, but that's what I would have done. You can still give him. You can still give him number one waiver priority next week. That's still on the table. And he already had number one waiver prior priority, so he's probably picked up Jameis Winston or any question.
Host 3
I also wonder. I mean, look, there's. There's a lot of variables here, like how far ahead is he on keeping his buy?
Host 4
Yeah, I think we should guarantee him a buy as well. If you're moving the playoffs.
Host 2
That's the thing.
Host 5
Like, yeah, you know, how far ahead.
Host 3
Of the, of the three seat is he for this, for the buck?
Host 2
I think you're stubbornly just making it week 14 because it like. But even though.
Host 4
No, because those were the rules and he won the league.
Host 3
He managed his team by the rules. Like we're screwing him over because he did everything appropriately.
Host 2
Right. But what I'm saying is there's a way to keep that advantage that he gained while also making.
Host 3
But there's not because yeah, he may, he may have drafted Lamar Jackson with this in mind.
Host 4
I drafted in the Scott fishbowl extra week 14 players just wanting to get to that point and then figuring I get it, it'd be easier to like, just to figure it out. Week 14. Now I'm going to pay for it now because I couldn't get Isaac Grendo. But people do draft in the FFPC contests based on like, you know, I can get the buy. I'm going to draft all these players on a buy during the first week of the playoffs.
Host 2
Okay.
Host 3
Like, like you're, you're, you're screwing this guy over.
Host 2
Not really.
Host 3
By changing the rule. You are.
Host 5
Yes. Really.
Host 3
How are you Managed his team at some point during the season when he knew when the playoffs were. He managed his team and it got to a point where he knew that he, he knew he's getting a buy. He knew he didn't have to. He said that in the start.
Host 2
The only time. Yeah, he did it last week when he didn't preemptively pick someone up for. No, no.
Host 3
That's what he said he did at this particular junction. We don't know at what point this season. He knew the playoffs for week 14 and he. Where he was in planning.
Host 2
That's all he did that, that's all he did was not pick up someone for week 14 because he thought he had a buy. That's it.
Host 3
Because he thought he was playing by the rules.
Host 2
He didn't plan the entire season based on the playoffs starting in week 14.
Host 3
You don't know that.
Host 2
That's what he wrote in the email. He just, he just didn't beat the waiver wire for week 14.
Host 4
I hope the guy realize like is has like screen grabbed this and is playing it for. And just in case he is, I just want to tell the commissioner like you should resign. Don't make your friends kick you out of the commissionership. Just like apologize or let somebody else.
Host 5
Take it over or make it right so that everybody in the league Is happy. And the idea of giving this guy the buy that he earned Based on what the rules said going into this week would make your Would make jeremy happy. He would live with the playoffs starting Week 15 if his buy was guaranteed that.
Host 3
That.
Host 5
That would be a solution that week.
Host 3
14 to appease him.
Host 5
I don't know if you necessarily give him the win, but no matter what, he's got a buy going into the playoffs.
Host 3
I don't see how you can do that, though.
Host 5
Don't make it. Well, because he earned the buy already with the playoff starting in week 14.
Host 3
But if he loses based on there's another week on the schedule and somebody passes him like you're screwing somebody else over them, Playoffs should start.
Host 5
True. But that's what would probably get jeremy to okay moving the playoffs back.
Host 3
Yeah, I don't think Jeremy's okaying it if the playoffs start week.
Host 2
I'm getting absolutely killed in the chat today. Not a good day for me. Not a day. Well, you know what? I can't. I can't just agree with everyone all the time. Right. I should make Adam reside that heath would make me resign. I mean, heath is kicking out, but.
Host 5
Then who would run it?
Host 2
Keith heath's kicking people out of leagues, firing commissioners. Unrealistic. Absolutely unrealistic. I am coming up with realistic solutions, not these pie in the sky, kick everybody out, lose all your friends.
Host 3
The realistic solution is you follow the rules.
Host 5
Follow the rules.
Host 2
They were not intended to be that. And it's kind of common sense. The playoffs should start in week 15. What I think it's. I personally believe it is worse to have the playoffs start in a week where there are.
Host 4
You looked out of the hole and saw how far down you dug. Like, you looked into the chat and you're like, oh, my gosh, look how big of a hole I've done.
Host 2
I believe.
Host 4
And then you just, like, furiously started shoveling.
Host 2
I believe. I believe. I think it's a worse take to say fire the commissioner and kick him out of the league Than it is to, say, begin the playoffs in week 15.
Host 3
I don't think you fire the commissioner, but you got to follow the rules that the commissioner said, like, right.
Host 5
But you also can't have a commissioner that changes the rules.
Host 1
How can you change Adam?
Host 5
You would never do that as a commissioner.
Host 4
How can you know how to draft next year? You don't have any idea what the rules are going to be.
Host 2
He made a mistake. Like, these things happen. People make mistakes.
Host 5
Did the rest of the league know it? Did the rest.
Host 2
We can no longer trust him for the rest of his life.
Host 4
I want to clarify, Adam. I would not say that he has to lose this commissionership if he said, I'm really sorry. I made a mistake. The playoffs are going to start in week 14 this year because I made a mistake.
Host 5
Correct.
Host 4
He's not. He is not losing it because he made a mistake. He's losing it because he's changing the rules on December the second.
Host 5
Yeah.
Host 4
Five days before the playoffs without even.
Host 5
Consulting the rest of the league first.
Host 2
We're out of here.
Host 5
He didn't even consult anybody else.
Host 2
We are out of here. Have a great day, everybody. Maybe I'm wrong. I will reevaluate. Maybe I will talk. We will talk to the rule.
Host 3
Say we have to end the show after an hour and five minutes. Or you just change it on the plug.

No, because, Jamie, when you run the show, it's an hour and 20 minutes.

Fantasy Football Today: Episode Summary - "Worryometer Wednesday! Plus Packers-Lions Preview and Fantasy Cops"
Release Date: December 4, 2024
In this engaging episode of Fantasy Football Today, hosts Adam Aizer, Dave Richard, Jamey Eisenberg, Heath Cummings, and additional analysts delve deep into the critical aspects of fantasy football as the season approaches its climax. The episode is structured around three main segments: Worryometer Wednesday, a Packers-Lions Game Preview, and the Fantasy Cops segment addressing listener disputes and concerns.
Worryometer Wednesday serves as a barometer for the hosts to assess and discuss the rising anxieties and uncertainties surrounding specific players and teams as fantasy football playoffs loom.
Performance Concerns: Garrett Wilson has been under scrutiny after recording 9.1 or fewer fantasy points in three consecutive games against the Cardinals, Colts, and Seahawks.
Target Volume vs. Production: Despite consistent targeting, Wilson's production hasn't met expectations, leading to divided opinions among managers.
Increased Concerns: Debo Samuel garners a higher worry rating due to limited target volume and offensive line struggles affecting his performance.
Future Outlook: The uncertainty surrounding Samuel's usage and the team's offensive efficiency make him a focal point of concern.
CD Lamb's Struggles: CD Lamb continues to face challenges with low yards after catch (ADOT) and limited touchdown opportunities, despite high target volumes.
Brian Thomas Jr.'s Performance: Conversely, Brian Thomas Jr. remains a reliable option with consistent performance against struggling defenses.
Kate Otten: Positioned with moderate concern, reflecting on her matchup against a mediocre Raiders defense.
Ken Walker: Faces a seven and a half worry rating due to inconsistent performance and offensive line issues.
Performance Anxiety: James Connor is evaluated on his potential to rebound with an improved offensive lineup, facing a tough schedule in the playoffs.
The hosts provide an in-depth analysis of the upcoming Packers vs. Lions game, emphasizing its significance for fantasy players.
Injury Impact: The Lions suffer notable injuries, including Malcolm Rodriguez (torn ACL) and potential absences of defensive linemen D.J. Reader and Onzurike, which could weaken their defense and favor offensive play.
Offensive Line Performance: The Packers' improved offensive line protection for Jordan Love is highlighted, suggesting increased opportunities for scoring.
Scoring Projections: With favorable conditions and weakened defenses, the game is projected to be high-scoring, benefiting fantasy quarterbacks like Jordan Love and Jared Goff.
In the Fantasy Cops segment, the hosts address listener-submitted issues, offering solutions and enforcing league rules.
Issue: A manager kept Isaiah Pacheco on injured reserve (IR) despite his availability during a live game, gaining an unfair advantage by maintaining a stronger lineup.
Solution Proposed: The consensus among hosts is to penalize the manager by reclaiming Pacheco from his roster to enforce fair play.
Host 4: “I would take Isaiah Pacheco from him.”
Host 2: “I like to just take Pacheco, cut Pacheco.”
Issue: A commissioner unilaterally changed the playoff start from week 14 to week 15 two days before playoffs began, disadvantaging managers like Jeremy who had planned accordingly.
Solutions Discussed:
Stripping the Commissioner: Some hosts argue the commissioner should be removed for altering league settings without consensus.
Reinstating Waiver Claims: Proposals include restoring Jeremy's waiver priority to mitigate the unfair disadvantage.
League-Wide Voting: Emphasis on involving the entire league in decision-making to ensure fairness.
Maintaining Integrity: The hosts stress the importance of adhering to predefined league rules and penalizing unfair maneuvers to maintain competitive balance.
Player Performance Monitoring: As the season nears its end, monitoring player performance and matchup potentials is crucial for successful fantasy management. Players like Garrett Wilson and Debo Samuel require close observation due to fluctuating performance metrics.
Injury Impacts: Injuries significantly affect player value and lineup decisions. Managers must stay updated on player health to make informed choices.
League Governance: Fair play and adherence to league rules are paramount. Unauthorized rule changes by commissioners can disrupt league harmony and competitive fairness, necessitating collective solutions.
Strategic Adjustments: Flexibility and strategic adaptability remain essential as managers navigate the complexities of the fantasy playoffs, ensuring optimal team performance when it matters most.
Notable Quotes:
Host 2 ([07:05]): “Garrett Wilson hasn't been as explosive lately, but I feel he was just a little tired. Gets the week off, comes back, finishes strong.”
Host 5 ([10:25]): “If the Niners can't get their O-line together, then I don't know how much faith I'm going to have in Debo Samuel.”
Host 4 ([56:38]): “I would take Isaiah Pacheco from him.”
Host 2 ([57:44]): “Give him the number one waiver claim back.”
Host 3 ([63:00]): “The realistic solution is you follow the rules.”
This episode underscores the dynamic nature of fantasy football, where player performance, injuries, and league administration significantly influence the path to victory. The hosts provide valuable insights and practical solutions, ensuring listeners are well-equipped to navigate the remaining weeks of the season with confidence.
