D
Always pumped for a smorgasbord.
B
Yeah, a lot of different topics.
D
Bratwurst and knockwurst and some brisket.
B
There you go.
D
Maybe some corn pudding.
B
Oh, get inspired, Heath.
A
No, I was just, I was wondering like, what is generally like what constitutes a smorgasbord?
B
Oh, I don't know.
A
According to AI, it is a Swedish buffet style meal offering a variety of hot and cold dishes such as pickled herring, meats, cheeses and bread.
D
I could do without the pickled herring.
B
Pickled herring, my goodness.
D
I, I would have you pegged to love pickled herring, Adam.
B
Don't even know if I'm sure.
A
Put it on a cinnamon raisin bagel.
B
Right.
D
With some Russian dressing on there.
B
All right, listen, raisins. This is, this is fantasy football Today presented by BetMG. I'm the sportsbook born in Vegas. What are we talking about today? We got some news and notes to get to how, how much does the Caleb McGarry injury matter for Bijon Robinson and Drake London? He's going to be out for the season. That's their right tackle, Najee Harris off the NFI list. Got a lot of interesting reports. Spencer Rattler, the starting quarterback. We're going to talk about worst, some of the worst values. Yesterday we did best values. Today we'll run through some of the worst values. But Jamie brought up a topic yesterday that it really, I thought could a whole episode could be spent on it. And actually, let me go back and say this. If you're just, you know, you kind of knew maybe not necessarily, this is your first year listening but you weren't listening in the off season. We did a lot of episodes that you could go back and listen to. Now and most of it would still be relevant. So, for example, we broke down, I don't know, running backs in rounds four through six or wide receivers in that range or something like that, where we spent a lot of time on a small amount of players. And I think it would be very helpful if you want to go back and listen to those. We're going to try to recreate that with running backs 13 through 26 today. So after the top 12 are off the board and that ends with that group of Jonathan Taylor, Kyron Williams, Bucky Irving, Chase Brown. Yeah, in that or in some order after that group, what do we do at running back from rounds basically three through five, maybe into the beginning of round six. So I do want to talk about that. Let's start with news and notes though. And Jamie, Caleb and Gary out for the season with a leg injury. This doesn't. I don't know if anyone's going to change anything with Bijan Robinson or Drake London. Should they?
C
I mean, I guess if you were debating Robinson versus Gibbs, Barkley McCaffrey, you know, and you were close between those guys, it might put you. Might sway you one way or the other. If you were debating London versus, you know, I've seen him go in some cases as a sixth or seventh receiver. If you were debating him versus, you know, Nico and neighbors and A.J. brown and Brian Thomas Jr. You know, those, those guys, those, you know, usually the bottom seven, bottom seven, the next seven after the top three, Amara St. Brown, then, you know, it's gonna maybe sway you one way or the other. But I'm not, I'm not going to change my opinion on these guys. It's just, you know, it's just, it's an unfortunate situation that they lose one of their top offensive linemen. But I think that those two guys in particular will still be good enough to produce at a very high level.
B
Yeah, I tried to find some examples of star offensive linemen leaving, you know, going out with injury. I did find a stat from Bill Barnwell who said Andrew Thomas, over the last three years in the Brian Dable era, the Giants have basically been the 21st best offense with Andrew Thomas on the field and the worst offense in football with him off the field.
C
So he's made star offensive lineman, though.
B
Yeah, he is a star offensive lineman. Rashawn Slater missed all of 20 or played three games in 2022. And. And it didn't really affect Austin Eckler at all. He had his very normal 4.5 yards per carry. In fact, in the three games with Slater in 2022. Eckler averaged 2.5 yards per carry last year. Christian Dara saw about halfway through the season. I think he played seven games for the Vikings. He left with a season ending injury and they scored a ton of points without Christian Darasaw. So it's, it's hard to know what this is going to, what kind of impact it'll be.
D
Do you care about the PFF grades for Caleb McGarry and also the fact that he's a right tackle for a team that has a left handed quarterback. So this is the blind side tackle for Michael Penix?
B
No, I mean I know McGarry's obviously very good, a very good run blocker. We, we know that more run blocker than pass blocking. Naji Harris is off the NFI list. Heath, when do you feel comfortable taking Amari and Hampton? This doesn't mean Naji's playing week one necessarily, but it does mean he's not mandated to sit out four games.
A
Well, last night, thankfully I was drafting with you so I got to draft Amari and Hampton for the first time this year and Dave and Jimmy weren't in the draft so that helped. Also I, I, I like Hampton in round four. He is now going in round two or three and so I'm not able to draft him.
B
Was a half PPR league last year or last night which, which helps Jordan Rodrigue of the Athletic. Dave thinks that Matthew Stafford's back injury is going to have to be managed throughout the season. Some concern about if he gets hit. You know, this does seem to be an injury that is spooking people. Not necessarily off of Stafford but off of Puka Nukua. Devonte Adams, where are you on the Rams passing game?
D
I'm still interested in drafting them. In fact, I like that I'm able to draft Nakua much closer to the 12 turn than I was a month ago. And I, I don't, I, I obviously have concerns about what this offense would look like going from Matthew Stafford to Jimmy Garoppolo, but I don't think it's, it's going to be a total killer for Nakua or Devonte Adams if it comes to that. And we got to put the if in there because there's always a chance that Stafford does hang tough. We know he's a tough guy and he's, he definitely has a chance to play most of the season and manage through the back injury. So am I brushing it off? No. But if I'm able to get Pukinakua in round two in a full ppr, I'm very excited about that. And if I'm able to get Devonte Adams in round four in a full ppr, I'm very excited about that as well.
C
I mean that's basically their ADP right now. So it's, it's not far off from where they're actually getting drafted. I do think if you're investing in the Rams receivers, you have to ask yourself how much do you trust Jimmy Garoppolo just in case there's the scenario of him playing a significant amount of games and probably more importantly, how much do you trust Sean McVeigh? Because you know, this is where he takes good quarterback, makes him great. Takes great quarterback, makes him hall of Famer. And does he make Jimmy Garoppolo competent enough to be the guy that's going to support two high end wide receivers that are worth drafting in this range? So you know, I, there's no more I, I think reaching for Puka. I know I'd be very surprised if any drafts this week and he goes in round one because there's seven running backs and there's five receivers. I don't think he's in the top five in a lot of people's rankings anymore. And so Adams is, you know, does he go in in late round three or early round four right now? It depends. I mean what, where do we see him go in the Super Flex draft with. Yesterday was really late.
B
Yeah. I can't remember but it, it was late. Super Flex obviously changes things, but.
C
Well, forget about that. It was, he was like closer to wide receiver 20. It felt like there was a, there was a handful of guys that went ahead of him that was a little surprising. So there's, there's obvious concern. You know, fantasy managers are concerned but I think just in terms of like where their average job position is right now, it's probably accurate. You know, Puka's at the, you know, closer to wide receiver 8 than he is than he was at the beginning of this process where and some people had him right here for.
B
Can I jump in here? Because I'm. Okay. Let's look at the Fantasy Pro's Real Time ADP. It's very up to date stuff. You got three consecutive picks here at 16, about 16, 17 overall. Drake London, wide receiver 7. Brian Thomas Jr. Wide receiver 8. Puka Nakua, wide receiver 9.
C
That's where he's fallen. Yeah.
B
Does that, do you agree with that?
C
I think when you look at the seven receivers after the top Three, you can make a strong case for all of them and you can nitpick and see where they're all going to have some flaws. So it really comes down to. I wrote about this yesterday with the average draft position, like 50 some odd drafts I've done. I've seen different orders for almost all of them. Like, it's, it's just comes down to I think what your personal preference is. So the fact that London is now creeping ahead of Puka, I think is kind of telling, you know, should he be closer to A.J. brown or should. Should he be closer to Malik Neighbors? That's the question you have to ask for me. He's closer to A.J. brown.
B
Puka, you mean? Okay, real quick for you, all three of you. Drake, London, or. Or Puka Nakua.
C
Right now it's Puka. Puka.
D
I'll take Puka.
A
Like, even if we're concerned about Matthew Stafford and you're concerned about Jimmy Garoppolo, it's not as if Drake London has a proven good quarterback. Yeah. Someone we hope is good.
B
Or a right tackle, as we just mentioned. Or.
A
Right, right.
D
And I'd be more concerned about the.
C
Right tackle actually in the case of London, which is a guy that's gotten, you know, pushed up in a lot of cases. I think Dave was a week ago you didn't have him in your top tier.
D
Yeah, I do now. Right now.
C
So Darnell Mooney did not get placed on short term ir. He's gonna play at some point early in the season. If he was not going to play in the early part of the season, like we would be looking at a potential target leader for the season.
B
Yeah. All right. Devonte Adams, by the way, is wide receiver 19 in the real time ADP, 44th overall. Going in between Garrett Wilson and DK Metcalf. Yeah.
A
Yeah. I cannot imagine taking Garrett Wilson over Devonte Adams.
B
Would you take Terry McLaurin over Devonte Adams because he's going ahead of both Wilson and Adams.
C
I would.
B
Nope.
C
No way. He's.
B
Yes. The other two. No. All right, More news and notes. Taj Spears is going to be placed on ir. We talked about this yesterday, but that was spur of the moment. So now that you guys have had a. A night to sleep on it, where'd you put Tony Pollard?
D
23Rd in my running back rankings.
C
22.
A
20Th round.
B
Five the saints around five part. The saints named Spencer Rattler their starting quarterback. He averaged 205 passing yards per game, which isn't good, but it's not like horribly horrible. In five games in which he played 93 or more of the snaps. And I say it's not horribly horrible because he basically did not have Chris Olave for any of it and he had rashid Shahid for one game. So as a rookie, 205 yards per game. You could do worse, but he's their starting quarterback. Chris Godwin and Tristan Wurfs avoided ir. We knew that was going to be the case for Godwin. Isaiah likely avoided IR. Remember, Mark Andrews scored 18.8 PPR fantasy points in one game that he played without. Likely now it was a very good pass game for them. They played the Bengals. LaMar Jackson threw 33 times for 290 yards and four touchdowns, but Andrews had a 21.2% target share that game compared to 15% for the season. Christian Watson and Marshawn Lloyd are out at least four games. They're both going to start the season on the PUP list. Brandon Iuk is on the pup list. Ted McMillan returned to practice. He has a hamstring injury but good to see him back. The Raiders not looking to trade Jacoby Myers? According to Adam Schefter, the Jaguars acquired Tim Patrick from Detroit for a six round pick. Dave, does that matter?
D
No.
B
Let's see. The Cowboys are optimistic about Micah Parsons playing in Week 1 against the Eagles, but he would be limited. Meanwhile, the Eagles will not have Nicobi Dean or linebacker for at least four games. He's going to start the season on the PUP list. Deshaun Watson's on the PUP list. Foster Morrow and Taysum Hill are both on the PUP list for the Saints. Dave, you actually had a tweet about stashing Taysum Hill. You can talk about that. And is there any appeal to Juwan Johnson?
D
I don't have any appeal or any interest in Juwan Johnson. The only reason why I would have appeal in Taysum Hill is so I could stash him in an IR spot and I would literally spend my very last pick to consider something like that. There would have to be nobody left in my draft who I thought was worth carrying in an active spot for me to go and get Taysom Hill.
B
And let me ask you guys this right? So if you're on CBS and you have a league with IR spots, well let's say you've already completed your draft. You can go to the players drop down, click on injury report and then I would go to rostered percentage and see who's on pup. Sort it by roster percentage and see who's on PUP or see who's on IR or you can do status and then you can see who's on Puppers, who on who's on ir. And that's how you can look for players that you can just stash, that you can just add with their freebies. Are there any players that you guys are looking to do that with right now?
C
Christian Watson.
D
Watson and Taysom.
B
Yeah. Christian Watson's only 27 rostered. What league am I in here? Oh, he's a free agent because this is the fantasy football today league, which we haven't done the draft for yet. All right, good. Good call on Christian Watson. Oh, Travis Kelsey's engaged. Congratulations.
A
Congratulations.
D
Yeah, it's cool.
B
It's cool news and even cooler news.
C
It'll be, it'll be telling if they announce their their wedding date before the end of the season.
B
Why?
C
Because if it's next fall, then he's done.
B
Good point. Well, if it could be a bye.
A
Week, I figured that was going to be the super bowl halftime show.
B
If you have it. That must mean the Chiefs are not playing at the super bowl then.
C
Yeah.
B

Today on Wednesday, we're on CBS Sports Network. We're going to give you our do not draft list, our final do not draft list. And I imagine it'll be somewhat similar to what we're about to talk about the worst values. So we were going to cover this yesterday, but we'll get to it today. Jamie, you have Kyron Williams. The fact that he's 18th overall is just not sitting well with you on CBS. ADP for Kyron Williams and Alvin Camara, 26th overall. Which one's more egregious?
C
Camara by a mile.
B
Yeah, we, we cut. We don't want to beat that dead horse. But even if you like Camara like Dave does, he ain't taking him 26th overall. But Kyron Williams, is he better at 26 overall? Is that kind of where you'd put him?
C
No, no. I have him at the back end around two. It's just the fact that he's going ahead of those other running backs that are behind him.
B
He's going ahead of who?
C
Taylor, Chase, Brown and Buck Irving? I'd rather have those guys.
B
So.
C
But as I would, as I said yesterday, it's most likely personal preference. It just seemed like it was a little too soon.
B
Kyron should. Kyron is for you, the last of the top 12, right?
C
Correct.
B
And Heath, you're a little higher on Kyron.
A
Yeah, I've got him basically right where he's getting drafted.
B
Okay.
A
And like, I, I think that if you look at the stretches that Bucky and Chase had in the second half and they're able to repeat that for a full season, then maybe that makes sense through my process of going through the projections. I love it when a guy has basically had the same role each of the last two years and we have no reason to believe that role is going to change. It's been 21 touches per game each of the last two years. It's been basically a top 20 player each of the last two years, and I expect him to be the same thing.
D
Does the dip in Efficiency worry you with kyron? Because in 2023, it was awesome. Last year he. It came down a little bit. He wasn't quite as good.
B
It.
A
It would worry me much more if he hadn't just turned 25 years old yesterday. Like efficiency moves up and down throughout players career, it's not generally linear. If a player who's 28 or 29 has a dip in efficiency, I'm going to be much more concerned than if a player has a dip in efficiency at 24 years old.
D
And the contract they gave him was a huge plus, too. The fact that the Rams basically put their money where their mouth is when it came to Kyron Williams.
C
The. The two things that I'm curious to see play out. One, we already discussed what happens if staff hurt. What does this offense look like, you know, across the board? So again, what's your trust level in Sean McVeigh? What's your trust level in Jimmy Garoppolo? And when you're comparing those players that are relatively close, I mean, you know, you see if you're checking out our site right now, the average opposition for those running backs, you know, Kyron is going, you know, what, 0.6, 0.5 ahead of Jonathan Taylor, you know, so it's, it's, it's right there. But also just what Sean McVeigh said. And this is, you know, a coach that clearly takes a lot of stock and evaluating his own team, evaluating himself and as we've seen over the years, you know, is not afraid to make some slight changes. The fact that he was praising Liam Cohen, who used to work, who used to work for him, and wanting to get some more explosives in the backfield. Do we see a change in, in the touches? So I don't, I don't think so. I think Keith is right on that. Like, you know, two years of what he's been, you know, 21 touches per game, top three in both the last two seasons. But if there is a slight dip in those carries, mostly because I don't think it'll be anything in the passing game, then we'll find out. And it. I think it's more dark West Hunter than it is Blake Corum, because I think they know what they have in Quorum. If Hunter can be that explosive running back and get some of those big plays, then that could change some things.
B
All right.
D
I've read that Worms had a great camp and it might be him up first in the event that something happens.
C
Yeah, I, I think that's two different things. They'll Play. I think if Chiron misses time, it's Quorum. I think it's something in tandem with Kyren is probably Hunter.
B
All right, guys, so next up is Breece hall, and this is on Jamie's list of worst values. Breeze hall going 40th overall on CBS as RB17 in the real time ADP on fantasy pros, he's RB18 going 44th overall. So really not much different. We had this moment in our podcast league draft that was fascinating. He just kept on falling. Jamie ended up taking him, but that was 58th overall, I think. Yeah, he went after Pacheco, after Connor, after David Montgomery, and dare I say, if we had known about Tony Pollard, Tajie Spears, Breeze hall may have gone after Tony Pollard in that draft. So I know you took him. You couldn't pass up the value at 58th, but yeah, Breeze hall is to you a bad value in round four.
C
He's starting to get to a point where it's not bad value, you know, just if you're going to take a chance on him. I do actually have Pollard ranked ahead of him at this point. Yeah, he's RB24 for me. So I'm concerned. I'm. I'm nervous about the potential workload for Braylon Allen and what that could be. I'm nervous about, you know, maybe Isaiah Davis getting work too. That he could be a trap back based on Justin Fields and what he does when they're inside the 10 reception total scares me, you know, so I'm, I'm definitely concerned. But that being said, 58th overall in a 14 team league, when you're talking about. He was my third running back. I shared the team with, you know, our guy Todd Roan. So it was a combination of the two of us just saying, like, we can't pass this up at this point. Like, especially a league that, you know, running backs are hard to find on waivers. So if he continues to fall, absolutely, you should buy the dip. If you were taking him in round three, which is where his average draft position started when we started doing a lot of drafts. No way. And. And this is kind of like the tipping point here. So when you're looking at it, like, I would definitely take Travion Henderson over him. I would definitely take Chuba Hubbard over him. You want to nitpick with him and Connor Swift, Aaron Jones, you know, if you scroll down, you start to see RJ Harvey and, you know, some of these other guys, like I. Pollard, for example, like, I would take a lot of guys over him. Still but if he falls to the right spot and you're a brief all truth or you know. Yes, absolutely.
B
All right, so. So, yeah, go ahead.
A
The only thing I'll say is, like, I've only got him projected for 11 and a half carries a game, and I've got him pretty much right where he's being drafted. And the. The key to that is what. What they've been saying. Did somebody get traded?
C
Yep.
A
Is it Tank Bigsby or Travis etn?
C
Thomas, your guy, he's back.
D
Thomas is about to go nuts.
A
I'm not sure. Congratulations, Thomas. You got Adam feeling.
C
The.
A
The key is $38. How many targets. How many targets for hole. And I've still got him pretty high in that regard because Josh Reynolds, Tyler Johnson, Alan Lazard, Arian Smith, Xavier Gibson. That's the rest of the jets receiving core besides Garrett Wilson.
C
Okay, then it comes down to, I think, you know, where. How much will they throw, which we've clearly discussed a lot in regards to Justin Fields and will it be just him as the primary guy out of the backfield?
B
Okay, let's. Let's move on. Jamie, let's go. Rapid fire here. Aaron Jones, RB, 22, 54th overall.
C
I just don't get it. You know, he. He could still have a very standout season, but it just. Everything you're hearing and himself saying that, you know, he wants to be sharing. He's okay sharing. I don't think he wants to okay sharing the ball. You know, played through three significant injuries last year. I think if you're getting him in the round seven range, you know, as a flex, I'm fine with it. Again, look at the names that he's being drafted ahead of. I would take Harvey, I would take Montgomery, take Power, I take Pacheco. I would take Tyrone Tracy over him, you know, so. Wow. There's just a list of names that I'm not comfortable with that are behind that I'm not comfortable. He's one ahead of. So I'd rather have those guys and, you know, Aaron Jordan, Mason, somebody that I just find myself waiting for as opposed to targeting Jones.
B
Okay.
D
Yeah, I'd rather take Mason in round eight than. Than Jones anywhere before then.
B
Okay, that's Aaron Jones. Wide receivers, D.J. moore, 52nd overall wide receiver, 22. Zay Flowers, 63rd overall wide receiver, 26. They're in a big range of exciting wide receivers, and you're probably not taking a lot of DJ Moore and Zay Flowers.
C
It just feels as if more is just part of too much of a crowded situation here with what Loveland will do, what eventually Burden will do, the you know, hopeful step forward that Odunze is going to make and DJ Moore's role. So I just can't put him ahead of a lot of these guys that I think just have more upside. So to take him 52nd overall, it's too soon. And Zay Flowers, we just have talked about this time again, amazing talent, could be fantastic as a fantasy option on a different team, but just the way that the Ravens operate, they don't need an alpha receiver to dominate targets. So unless he has a big spike in touchdowns, I don't think you're going to get more than the 12/ PPR points per game that he's giving you each of the last two years.
B
And Jamie doesn't like Sam Laporta, 58th overall or Mark Andrews 71st overall. Please refer to yesterday's episode when we talked about how we see the tight end position compared to average draft position where we basically just don't. We just think ADP is, is overvaluing the mid round tight ends basically except for David Najoku, Heath, your list of players that are some of the worst values on CBS average draft position Derrick Henry 8th and Josh Allen 17th ppr.
A
So none of us have Derek Henry in the top eight pick. So I think we all agree on that. I'm the lowest guy on him and I just like almost all of the running backs on my list are the old guys who were still good last year. I would have Alvin Camaro would have been my headliner if I hadn't turned in my list last. And I just, I think we've said this a lot this summer, but be careful thinking just because the old guys overcame decades of history last year that they're going to do it again this year. I think Henry's still going to be good as long as he stays healthy, but I would not use a first round pick on him. And I could have put Lamar Jackson instead of Josh Allen. They're both going in the top 18 picks. They're both going way too early, but at least with Jackson he was good enough to deserve that last year. We think he's going to have some regression off those touchdown totals so he won't do it again. But the offensive philosophy, and it's part of the reason I've had a hard time getting around to Keon Coleman as well, the offensive philosophy in Buffalo from a year and a half of what we've seen under this offensive coordinator is they're not going to be a high volume pass off offense and they are pulling back at least a little bit on Josh Allen's rush attempts. So he's my QB3, not my QB1. And I wouldn't take any QB in the first two rounds.
B
When would each of you take Derek Henry in a. Let's start with non PPR league top five three.
A
Yeah, that's a completely different story. I would say four in a half PPR league.
D
Derek Henry, round one still round one. Probably looking at like six or seventh, 10 to 12.
B
So if you're talking half PPR, you're going Derrick Henry or Malik Neighbors.
C
Henry.
A
I would still go Neighbors and in.
B
A full PPR league when he's taking.
D
Derrick Henry, I'll take him in round one. I'll take him at the end of round one, let's call it 11th overall.
B
So obviously he's going to take neighbors. But Dave and Jamie in a full PPR league, you say to take Henry in half neighbors or Henry and full PPR neighbors.
A
I'll take the whole group of that tier of wide receivers we were just taking, talking about over Derek Henry and full PPR and.
D
And I'd kind of split up that tier. I'd put. I put Neighbors ahead of Henry and I put him on Ross St Brown ahead of him. I put Nico ahead of him. I'm going back and forth on Brian Thomas Jr. As of now, I would take Henry ahead of BTJ and I would take. I would take Henry over Puka London, AJ Brown, etc.
C
Okay. I just play it out like how I want to draft it. I know that I can get those receivers, one of them in early round two. I'm running the risk of losing one of Henry or Genti because. Right, right.
B
Totally. All right. Heath James Connor, 43rd overall. Too soon for you?
A
Yeah. And I think I'm probably just for the most part besides Trey McBride lower on the Arizona Cardinals offense because I've got Marvin Harrison Jr. Up next. But in terms of Connor first off, it's easy. Easy to say like he's another one of the old running backs. Whether we believe them or not, they've all been pretty consistent in saying that Trey Benson's going to have more touches than he did last year and Connor is. Has been one of the more injury prone running backs when he was in his prime. So he's probably a little bit more injury prone in his 30s.
B
You take Travion Henderson ahead of him?
A
Oh yeah.
B
Take Chuba hubbard.
A
I would.
B
DeAndre Swift.
A
I would.
B
They're all going After James Connor, Marvin Harry would never talk about Marvin Harrison Jr. He's fallen into this abyss.
A
Last night during the the shared draft between Adam and I said I had no idea how low you had Morgan Harrison r. I said, well, it's only eight spots behind Jamie in overhaul rankings. It's not that low. But yeah, I just listen, I was hoping for anything this off season and maybe you guys have seen something recently, it'll make me feel better. But anything this off season that suggested that Drew Petzig was going to change the offensive game plan in Arizona. And we've talked about it over and over and over. But if it's your first time listening, the problem is that Marvin Harrison Jr. Just runs down the sideline and makes circus catches and he'll be good in the red zone. He'll probably score plenty of touchdowns. But I don't think the target volume is going to be there. Trey McBride's still the number one option in this offense in terms of targets and I don't think those layups, the easier short routes are there for Marvin Harrison either.
B
Would you take some guys going after Harrison? I know you're going to say McLaurin. Yes. Would you take DK Metcalf or Marvin Harrison Jr. You all can answer Marvin Metcalf for sure. Marvin Harrison Jr. Is Xavier Worthy worthy.
C
Harrison for now, but any semblance of suspension news for Rice before the season, then it would be worth it in.
A
In Harrison's favor too. I think he is one of the wide receivers that has the biggest difference between my non PPR and full PPR rankings. I do think like that style of wide receiver for what he's been so far at least is better when catches don't count.
C
He's definitely a better non PPR receiver than he is PPR at this point. Yes.
B
You had Aaron Jones in there. You also have Michael Pittman who's going 98th overall.
A
I don't know why Michael Pittman is going 98th overall. I am terrified of the Colts passing attack as Dave has highlighted over and over and over again. The whole offense is just going to run through Tyler Warren and Josh Downs is still there. I have not drafted Michael Pittman yet.
C
This year it seems. I mean in his, you know, he's got the green arrow like flying upwards. I don't know if the the reason is because of Downs's hamstring injury, which he's expected to return to practice. And so it's just, it's just surprising. Yeah, like if you were telling me Downs was out for the season. I could justify it in this spot.
B
Right.
C
But clearly he's gonna play you guys. I think that, that Pittman. I actually thought Pittman was going to be underrated because of what happened last year and the quarterback mess and the addition of Warren. The fact that he's just, you know, put himself, that he's gotten into this range is just shocking.
D
He had 6.9 targets per game last year. We love that kind of number. He turned that into 10.4 PPR points.
C
Yeah, I throw out everything last year with him. Back injury and just a quarterback mess.
D
All right, but what about 12 games with Gardner Minshu, would you consider.
C
No, that I think is relevant is a fair comp for what you're looking at for this.
D
Okay, so in 12 games, in 2023 back wasn't an issue with Minsh. And maybe this is why he's flying up draft boards. 9 or 10.1 targets per game, 16.5 PPR points per game. I don't think he's going to get anywhere close correct to 10.1 targets per game. I think he'll be a lot closer to six, and I think it'll be a lot closer to 10 PPR points per game. So bench receiver and full PPR. I don't have a problem with that.
B
All right, let's take a quick little break and Dave will try to get through your list of the worst values. Now, before we do that, though, we shortchanged Adam Thielen a little bit here. So just to. Just to put it out there, Adam Thielen going to the Minnesota Vikings. I remember I said Thielen average, what, over 16 PPR fantasy points per game in his last seven games. He was really good. So, Heath, you have this look of don't even ask about it. Just stop. Adam.
A
Yeah, I think there's definitely a fantasy impact here. I am way more excited in the late rounds to draft Jalen Coker, maybe even Xavier Leggette. There's a clear we don't have to worry that Bryce Young's connection with Adam Thielen cuts into Tedro McMillan's target share early in the year. This is a really good thing for the pass catchers on the Panthers. And if you're in a very deep league, Adam Thielen's probably still on your waiver wire. He's maybe not a bad guy to add if you're really like, maybe you drafted Jordan Addison and your. Your wide receiver three or your flex really stinks. Maybe Thielen could be that the first Three weeks of the season. But when Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and TJ Hawkinson are healthy, I don't expect him to matter.
D
Chicago, Atlanta, Cincinnati. Favorable matchups for everybody in Minnesota.
B
Yeah, because Chicago's a little beat up in the secondary right now. I don't know if Jalen Johnson is going to be ready for week one and then obviously the next two look pretty good. We're going to take a break. Dave's worst values. More of the smorgasbord and sorting RBs 13 through 26 after this.

B
Welcome back everybody. Okay, Dave, so taking a look at your worst values. Brock Bowers, 19th overall. This is based. This is not CBS ADP. Although I think he's going. Oh no, he's going more like the 2, 3 turn in CBS. This is NFC ADP in the last 10 days, right?
D
Yeah, as of yesterday. So I don't know what the updated numbers are. I would imagine that they're close to what they were yesterday. But NFC competitive fantasy football leagues, high stakes leagues, 170 drafts over a 10 day period. This was the average for Brock Bowers. And I might be more inclined to say that this is a fair value and not a bad value if Jacobe Myers gets traded because that would open up some target volume for Bowers to collect in an offense that otherwise has Amari Cooper, Dante Thornton, Jack Bash. I don't know if I can count on those other players to pick up substantial targets. I do count on Jacoby to get a bunch of targets and so that would, that would make me lean a little bit differently. That would change the, the math. I would say in, in Las Vegas.
B
Okay, so he's going.
D
It's like going from 6 to 5 blackjack to 3 to 2 blackjack.
B
I always have a trouble with. Yeah, now it's H.N. h&A.J. brown, Drake, London, Chase Brown, Brock Bowers, Bucky Irving.
D
You know that round two.
B
I don't know that there's a wrong answer, but how do you guys.
A
I Think the wrong answer is not getting Brock Bowers on your team.
B
Okay. I love your conviction.
C
It changes for me in a two receiver league versus three receiver league.
B
Yeah, sure. Even if you're deciding and this is an interesting.
C
Right.
B
Concept.
C
Right.
B
Even if you're deciding between a running back and a tight end, not a receiver, it still changes in a three receiver league because it's just so much easier to fill the receiver position. Whereas in a two receiver, if you're in a three receiver league. Okay. You might have to take receivers earlier and that's going to hurt your chances of getting a stud tight end like Kittle in round three or something like that. All right, so how about this? What's a better pick, Bowers in round two or Kittle in round three? Middle of both rounds?
C
Kiddle in round three?
B
Bowers for Heath, right?
C
Yeah.
B
Okay.
D
I, how, how good do you feel about the target volume for Brock Bowers if Myers stays and it sounds like he's staying.
A
Myers was on the team last year.
D
I know. 150 targets and the team didn't run the ball last year and now they're going to run and the, the new running back they have will catch passes. I know I mentioned Cooper, Thornton, Besh, like they're not going to do nothing. They might combine for five targets a game. That's really the, like the crux of my argument is that I'm worried that Bowers won't have 8.9 targets per game this year and that the number is going to come down and he's going to be good. Is he going to be Travis Kelsey 2022. Good. That's what makes me hesitant to take him with a top 20 pick.
A
Well, if he's Travis Kelsey 20, 22 pick, then you should have taken him in round one.
D
Right. But even if he's. But if he's not anywhere close to that, if he's what he does last year, it's 15 PPR points per game. That's what we got out of Kittle last year. We're getting him around later. We got that out of Trey McBride last year. We got that. We can get that at the end of round two, beginning of round three. So I, I don't see, I don't see the reason to go higher for Bowers without there being more excitement or optimism, I should say, about target volume increasing. I agree that the efficiency should increase on his throws. He's got Geno Smith throwing to him. That's good. But I don't know if it's, if he's going down by a target and a half per game. I don't know if there's enough to completely make up for it where he's 16 and a half, 17, 18 PPR points.
C
I think the question would be, is like, how much are you valuing Amari Cooper at this point in his career?
D
Not much.
C
No, to me, to me, best is irrelevant. As long as Jacoby Myers, their best is an investment on the future. I don't think he's gonna get very, very many opportunities with Myers being there. I think they're kind of locked into their roles at this point. You know you're going to get better production from Thornton. I definitely agree with that. Their outside receiver play should be better or their second receiver play, however you want to say it. I know, Adam, you brought up, you know, just where Myers lined up. But I think they're their, their second receiver play should be better than what it was a year ago. Their run game should be better as Dave alluded to. And it's a matter of how much more, how much does the quarterback play and just offensive environment situation either benefit or potentially hurt Bowers to his high end potential? And that's a question you have to ask yourself, you know, so you know, if you're, if you're expecting his production to spike because of Geno Smith and you know they're going to move the ball more, they're going to get more opportunities, they're going to have more, more, more plays because they should just be better then Bowers has more opportunities across the board.
B
Next up is Garrett Wilson, 30th overall. Now listen, the NFC ADP, the wide receivers go earlier than the running backs compared to CBS. But Garrett Wilson still wide receiver 14, which is just too early for Dave. So that we've talked about that ad nauseam. Where do you have, where do you have Garrett Wilson?
D
25Th.
B
Okay. Joe Burrow is the third quarterback off the board and you have him. I think we talked about this yesterday, actually. You have him.
D
Yeah, we did.
B
And this is probably a lot of four point for passing touchdown leagues too. So we don't like Burrow at, at as QB3.
C
That's on NFC.
B
Yep.
C
Okay.
B
Breeze hall, you know, echo what Jamie said. How about Xavier Worthy as wide receiver 19 ahead of McMillan, McLaurin, Sutton, D.J. moore, who you also have on this list. So if you don't like, if you don't like worthy at wide receiver 19, you don't like more at wide receiver 23. Who are guys that you like better?
D
I Like Jameson Williams better. I like Tedro McMillan better. I like DK Metcalf better. I'm not sure what other receivers are behind them that I have ranked ahead of Worthy. I don't mind Worthy, but I like him more as like a low end, number two wide receiver. And I worry about consistency with him. And how many games, how many games this year will he go off? Maybe like six or seven. It's. That's certainly within the range of possibilities, but we're going to start him every week and some weeks he's going to have eight PPR points and then the next week 23 and then the next week 11. And it's just going to be a roller coaster ride. There are other receivers I think can be a little bit more consistent that I'd rather have.
A
I think it just depends on how long is Rashi Rice's suspension and when does it happen. I mean, there's a chance still that Worthy is more productive than Rice when they're both playing. But what you. What if you look at what he did towards the end of last year, there was basically one of those games that Dave's concerned about because there was no Rice and he averaged 20 fantasy points per game in his last six games. I think that there's certainly. And a lot of times guys get drafted in certain places partially because of what we expect or project and partially because of what type of upside they bring to the table. And Worthy could certainly in round four be one of the guys that wins your league.
B
Yeah, he also had. He had 104 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns in 16 games. I don't think you should think about the rushing touchdown as repeatable, but the rushing yards, you know, that's. That could absolutely happen.
D
He could have one or two rushing touchdowns.
B
All right, let's move on.
D
That I like about him, and this is just telling me kind of like what the expectation will probably be. He had 12 games where he had at least six targets. Last year he averaged 15.8 PPR points per game. It's weighted by the super bowl, because the super bowl, he went berserk. If you take that game out, it's 14 PPR points per game and it's 13.8 in the regular season. I feel like that's the number that you should have in your head when you draft him.
B
That's not so bad.
D
No, he's still a number two wide receiver. He's just going a little too early for me.
B
All right, I'm going to skip ahead to some. Let's do fill in the blank. Ready? And I'm going to use these exact fill in the blanks tonight on the draftathon show. Because I originally wrote them for the draftathon show and I was like, you know what? I want to hear what Dave, Jamie and Heath have to say. If I have the third pick in the draft, I'm picking blank.
C
CD Lamb City.
D
Lamb who went first and second, Chase and Bijan Jameer Gibbs.
B
If I start running back. Running back, then blank.
A
I have great running backs.
C
Hopefully he got good running backs.
B
Yeah, I was going to say something like, then I'm not going to reach for a wide receiver in round three. Right. You know, the wide receiver. I'm going to hammer ride receivers in rounds five, six and seven. Probably even if I start running back.
A
Running back, then I'm going to take five wide receivers in my next seven picks.
B
There you go. Unless, like Mike Evans, I think I would love to have and JSN in round three, but if I can't get those guys, that's.
D
That's what you're gonna get.
B
Yeah, that's fine. If I see Devon Hn available in the middle of round two, I am blank.
D
I'm doing what Heath's doing.
B
Buying a chief's super bowl ticket. Yeah.
A
I'm not going to go to the Super Bowl. They probably are, but I'm not, you know, I'm aesthetic.
B
Okay. If I draft Ashton Genti in round one, then I am blank on Brock Bowers.
C
Out.
D
If you're drafting Ashton Genti in round one, you're probably doing so with a late first round pick. That would mean that you're out on Brock Bowers in round two. But I would be in on Brock bowers in round three if he somehow slips. Maybe it's a 18 league or something like that. Who knows?
A
Yeah, I'm probably unmoved.
B
If I draft your draft.
D
Raider. Raider 19 powers.
A
I've started my draft Ram Ram with Puka and Kyren.
C
Yeah.
B
If I'm on Ross St. Brown, then I will be willing to draft blank more Lions the rest of the way.
A
Unmoved.
D
Yeah.
B
Well, I'm not going to draft Laporta, Jameson Williams and Sam Brown.
C
2.
D
I'm not going to limit it. If there's good value. If I'm getting Jameson Williams in round five or six and Laporta in seven and Jared Goff in 12, then go Lions.
A
I think you made me draft two lines last night.
B
Two's fine. Who would we have? Jameson and David Montgomery.
A
That's right.
B
Yeah.
D
Used to be a time when you'd mock people for taking two Lions on your fantasy team. You know, you might have three or four.
B
We did the. The Chad Smith interview, and he's a huge Lions fan. And I. It occurred to me, I don't know anything about the Detroit Lions franchise before, like, the Barry Sanders era. Did they. I know they had a team where they. Did they actually play, like, I don't know, a single player from the 80s or. When did Herman Moore start? That's, like, the oldest one that I.
C
Could think of in the barrier.
D
Yeah.
A
They won some championships before they were called Super Bowls.
B
Right. They've never been to a Super Bowl. I hope to God they have, but I can't name a single lion from the olden days. All right. The player I keep drafting is blank.
D
Tyler Warren.
C
Lately, it's a Buka.
A
I've got two players on half of my redraft teams right now. You could probably guess who they are.
B
The Brock Bowers.
A
Yep. We drafted the other one last night. We drafted both of them last night, actually.
B
Oh, I forget.
A
You cursed at me in the text message.
B
Oh, Jerry. Judy. Yep. The player that would give me indigestion if he were on my team is blank.
D
The player who would give me indigestion, would Justin Fields be a good answer for that? I think he would be.
B
Having the McLaren for Jamie, having everybody's.
A
Okay at the right price.
B
Having to draft James Connor, which. It was a good pick when I made it. It was. It was a good pick. It made sense, but it still gave me a little indigestion. I just. I. I don't really want him. He's too old, but he's good.
D
He's too old.
C
It's just so funny how the. The complaint was Connor after you started McCaffrey, Hill.
B
I. I know, but they're both. I mean, McCaffrey's younger than.
D
Those guys are young. 31s, though.
B
Yeah. Just the. The lack of explosiveness last year scares me.
D
Okay, well, he's. He's giving you at least 15 PPR points per game.
B
I know.
D
Every year he's been in Arizona, it was averaged over three targets per game.
B
The right pick. It was the right pick.
D
The right pick.
C
No, you would have taken. You would have taken Pollard.
B
I would have taken Pollard. I would have taken Pollard. Yeah.
D
Oh, give me Connor all day.
B
All right, sorting running backs, 13 through 26. Let's end our show with this. So the top 12 are off the board, and those 12 running backs are. Bijan Robinson. Jameer Gibbs. Jamie and I were remarking the other day about how we started calling him Robinson because we didn't want to say Bijan.
C
You just be Bijan. Right? We'd all just.
B
Yeah, exactly.
C
Yeah. Am I gonna say it right? Robinson. Robinson.
B
Robinson. Gibbs. Barkley McCaffrey, Genti Henry, H.N. jacobs, Chase Brown, Bucky Irving, Kyron Williams, Jonathan Taylor. That's our top 12 consensus rankings. All right. After that, in our consensus rankings, in full PPR, 13 through 26, is James Cook, Omarion Hampton, Ken Walker, Travion Henderson, Chuba Hubbard, Alvin camara, James Connor, RJ Harvey, Breeze Hall, Tony Pollard, DeAndre Swift, David Montgomery, Isaiah Pacheco. I threw Tyrone Tracy in there, but probably.
A
Of course you did.
B
Yeah.
D
Close to 26, then 25.
B
All right. Yeah, let's do that. Right, so let's end it at Pacheco. And going to delete Tyrone Tracy's name. It's a really interesting group. And it starts in round three. Probably ends around the five, six turn or into round six in most leagues. How are we tearing them? Who are the guys that deserve to go in round three in a 12 team league?
C
James Cook, Amari and Hampton. And Travion Henderson.
A
I've got James Cook, Trevion Henderson, and Ken Walker.
D
And I've got Hampton, Cook, Camara, and I think that's it for round three.
B
Okay, so Jamie goes Cook, Hampton, Henderson.
C
Hampton, Cook, Henderson. If you want the ranking.
B
Okay, Hampton, Cook, Henderson. Heath goes Cook, Henderson, Ken Walker. Well, Walker, Cook, Henderson, Walker, Cook, Henderson.
C
Yep.
B
Dave says, what's your order?
D
Hampton, Cook, Camara, Hampton. We're talking full ppr, right?
B
Okay, so this is helpful because James Cook is on everybody's list as a round three pick. Travion Henderson and Omarion Hampton are on two lists. Ken Walker's on Heaths, Alvin Camara's on Dave's. So who's in round four? Who's next?
C
Morning for me, it would be RJ Harvey, Ken Walker, Chuba Hubbard, and I think that's it.
A
And I've got Hampton, who I missed from last round. Hubbard, hall and Swift.
D
I have Hubbard, Old Man Winkle. That's James Connor, Kenneth Walker iii, Trayvon Henderson and RJ Harvey.
C
Okay, I think I might have come here at the back end around four.
B
All right, I'll throw him there. All right. Heath is the only one that has DeAndre Swift in the first four rounds.
A
I think when I looked last night, Jamie has him 49th. So, okay, he's in round maybe.
C
I have Connor in round four. Too end around four.
B
I'll tell you right now, I have the page open. So Connor, you have. Oh, no, I have the wrong page open. I'll go to the top 200. Connor, you have 40. Yeah, you do. You have him 44th. You have DeAndre Swift 49th. Okay, so I'm gonna put Connor on that list. All right, so reviewing who we think should be in round four, not RJ Harvey for Heath, but RJ Harvey for Dave and Jamie, Ken Walker should be off the board by the end of round four. Heath has him in round three. Jamie and Dave have him in round four. Everyone's got Chuba Hubbard in round four. We've got two votes for Connor. You, Heath, I'm guessing you have Connor in round five.
A
Yep.
B
We've got Camara in round four for Jamie and around three for Dave and round five for Heath. Right.
A
He is the guy who splits us up the most, it seems. Well, Swift, because Dave has him in round 12.
D
Not true. Where do I have him? Since you're looking at rankings.
A
Six, seven, turn.
D
That's right.
B
Breeze Hall. Looks like Heath is the only one that has Breeze hall in round four. Dave and Jamie have Bries hall in round five. And then the. Who are the leftovers? The guys that should go at the end of this group.
A
I have Pollard, Camara, Connor, Harvey, Montgomery.
C
Around five for me is Swift in some order. Swift, Pollard, Pacheco and Montgomery.
D
Paul Pacheco, Pollard, Montgomery, definitely Pacheco and Montgomery.
B
It seems like Tony Pollard, Heath, who are you guys? Pollard, Camara.
A
Yeah, everybody that basically all of the round four guys that David, Jamie had that I didn't. Plus Pollard and Montgomery. I've got Pacheco in round six.
B
Fair enough. All right, so that's the end of the group. So the guys that are at the. The front of the group, you know, James Cook, Amari and Hampton Travy on Henderson for at least two of our guys. And then maybe Ken Walker. He's close. The guys were at the end of the group. Tony Pollard, Isaiah Pacheco, David Montgomery would seem to be consensus. DeAndre Swift is. Is toward like the back of the. Of the middle of the. Like, like flirting with the middle of the group and the place basically four or five turn and then Alvin Camara, you heard he'd say he splits us up more than anyone else. Thought I did that.
A
And James, we are united in the way we feel about you.
B
Yes. But I pit you against each other. So. All right, so I think we have a sort of clear picture there. But within this. Let's get some debates going here.
C
We have just over a week to finalize the Swift Camaro bet.
B
I don't even remember. It was between Heath and Dave.
C
Yes.
B
Am I in on this?
C
No.
D
Yes. You have to pay the winner $50.
A
I think. I think if, if Swift wins, then Dave has to buy tickets to her next concert. And if I win, if Dave wins, I have to buy a Camaro because they're basically the same price.
B
All right, look, tell me why. Why Chuba Hubbard should go ahead of Tony Pollard.
C
Ty J. Spears will be back at some point this season and provides more competition to Pollard than anybody on Carolina's roster does to Hubbard. In my opinion, what Hubbard accomplished last year feels like it's better than anything Pollard has done in Tennessee.
B
Yep.
C
And I think you're seeing an offense that's on the rise in both cases. But in the case of Carolina, yeah, I feel a little bit more confident in their offensive line play. I feel a little bit more confident as of now in their quarterback. That could change. But just, I think the entire offense just feels a little bit safer for the Panthers. So based on what Hubbard did a year ago, I think carries a little bit of weight. Should carry some weight. And again, really the biggest thing for me is if you said right now Tiese Spears is out for the season, they're definitely closer, but there should be a little bit of separation between that because of Spears potential return potentially.
B
I'm sorry, where are you on RJ Harvey, Heath?
A
I've got him in round five, so I just think like he's moved up for me during the, the training camp. But I also think that Sean Payton's preseason usage does not necessarily mean that's the way that it's going to be in the regular season. And Sean Payton's going to use a big committee at running back. And I've come around on Evan Ingram a little bit and I feel pretty confident Cortland Sutton's getting 140 targets. So if there's more targets going to the tight ends, there may be fewer targets going to the running backs than there were last year.
B
Okay. And then Jamie, you want to give the counter to that for RJ Harvey because you seem to be pretty high on him.
C
Yeah, I. And I think a lot of this might come down to. And Heath, you could, you can answer this for yourself. Is your pre draft evaluation of Harvey was not as high as everybody else. So I, I do buy a little bit, not fully, but a little bit of the preseason usage because I think that's kind of how we're going to see it. You know, Dobbins playing more on pass down situations and Harvey being the first and second down guy, as we've seen from Sean Payton last year, his history in New Orleans, he will throw to running backs on first and second down. And I think that's going to matter for Harvey in terms of his reception total. So just because he's not playing on third downs shouldn't hinder his production. You said this time and time again, Adam, how good the Broncos offensive line. Yeah. Should be at least on paper coming into the season, you know, has a chance to be top five. You keep calling it number two. So very good situation.
B
That's where I see it ranked.
C
You're, you're quoting the rankings that they're number two. So there, there's a chance for him to play behind one of the better offensive lines. I think the, the maturation process and the continued improvement of Bo Nicks matters here as well, that this offense is gonna, you know, pick up where it left off last year. So buying into the coach, buying into the system, buying into the player, dealing with another guy that's playing behind him, that's got a very long injury track record, like for me, I'm all in on RJ Harvey. You know, he might be around 3 pick by the time we're done.
A
And the only thing I would push back on at all there was, I don't think my, like, I think pretty much everyone's pre draft evaluation of RJ Harvey was lower than Sean Payton's.
D
Agreed.
A
I think even after the draft, Matt Waldman had him an RB7 in this class. So like now Sean Payton's the one that decides who touches the ball. So his opinion matters a lot more than mine does or anybody else's. But I'm just, I don't view him anywhere close to the same type of prospect as Hampton or Henderson.
C
To that end, he did the same thing with Bonix. Yep, he did.
B
That's true. All right, so who makes you nervous in this group? Can be more than one person.
C
Camara for sure.
B
Is anybody else nervous about Connor? Am I only the only guy on my list? Right, right, right.
D
I'm only nervous just because he's probably gonna miss a couple of games or let's call it three or four games over the course of the year, but still such a huge part of what they do on offense. I don't think that they're getting away from it now just because he's a little older.
B
Okay. Why Am I on. Why am I on Pacheco island that I feel like he's better than everyone else thinks he is?
C
I don't think you're on Pacheco Allen when you drafting.
B
I would draft him ahead of David Montgomery. I would draft him ahead of DeAndre Swift.
D
Same.
B
I would draft him early round five also.
C
We're in the same spot.
D
You're not on an island at all.
C
I would take him ahead of Montgomery too. I. So that group for me, as I said yesterday, this is kind of where I think this conversation started was that group of guys essentially if you want to put Connor in this, in this group. So it's. It's Connor, it's Swift, it's Pollard, it's Pacheco, it's Montgomery. It's just there's, there's so much upside for these guys. There's also so much downside, you know, because you have an older player in Conor, you have an, you know, I don't want to say disappointing player in Swift, but he just never lived up to the, the potential of what he could have been and maybe hopefully will be this year. You have Pacheco in what could still be a shared situation and you know, coming off a pretty significant injury, Pollard's going to get competition at some point and Montgomery may be trending in the absolute wrong direction. If Jamir gives us gets more work and we don't get the touchdowns from Montgomery, what might be a worse offensive line. So I think there's a reason why these guys are in the round five plus range as opposed to the rounds.
A
Three and four range and what I guess I am on Pacheco Island. So I'll say like the reason I am is just it's a 13 game sample basically in a three year career where he was playing more than half of the offensive snaps consistently. And I am concerned that Andy Reid goes back to the more of a committee approach. I think that they're. Kareem Hunt seems to have not done much in camp, but he still might be the short yardage guy. And Rashard Smith seems to have kind of caught fire the last week or two of camp and after kind of not earning great reviews, they surprisingly kept Elijah Mitchell too. I just worry that he's in that 50 snapshare range instead of the 67, 65 to 75 plus that he was for that short stretch between the end of 2023 and the first two games of last year.
C
So who are you taking over him?
A
Everybody we've talked about.
D
Yeah.
B
Last in this group for you.
A
Well, and I. I would. I in full ppr. I think he's right in the same tier for me with Aaron Jones, Jalen Warren, Tyrone Tracy. So he's like a tier below the guys we've talked about.
C
Wow.
B
Okay. And then I just want to end with this. Obviously, we know why we're nervous about Breeze hall, but who's. I'm a little nervous about Ken Walker.
D
You know, and me too.
C
A little.
B
If I take him in round four, it hasn't been a great off season for me. He's been hurt, which is the typical situation for him.
A
It's strange because even he has been and that's not good because he has been hurt throughout his career. It's also that in terms of what people in Seattle are saying about him, it's been a great offseason for him.
B
What are they saying?
A
But it's pretty much like he's the engine that makes the offense run.
B
But they also been saying that Charbonnet is having a good off season.
A
There was that quote that came out too.
B
Yeah.
C
I think around 4 is a good spot for him because, you know, unless you just have such a strong feeling about the other guys that are in the same range or maybe behind him. Like, I would take Harvey over him at this point. So, like, for me, if I see those two guys sitting there, I'm taking Harvey over. Over Walker. But, you know, if I don't know where Heath is on Swift versus Walker, for example, just somebody you're high on, you know, by comparison to somebody that's not going ahead of, that's something that's going ahead of him based on average after. So, you know, there's going to be some cases where you have just a strong. I'm definitely taking this player over that player. And I'll give you just a real life scenario of. In the draft I did the same night as our podcast league. I started with three wide receivers, Lamb, Puka and A.J. brown. You know, got lucky with how those second guys felt to me. Second two guys followed me. It was around four. The top running back on my draft board was Ken Walker. And the last of the top five quarterbacks were sitting there in Joe Burrow. It's a two running back to receiver league. I took Joe Burrow.
B
Oh, yeah.
C
The idea was the hope was that I was going to get two of Swift, Pollard, Pacheco, Montgomery. I only got one of those guys. So it did not work out in my favor because picking in the middle.
B
Yes.
C
Although all those other running backs went except for Swift. So Swift was the one I took. And then my second running back is Jalen Warren. Love my quarterback, love my receivers. But that second running back spot is going to be a potential struggle if Warren is not that guy.
B
You did the right thing taking Joe Burrow.
C
I'm very happy with how it worked out. But you know, at the time it was like almost consecutively, like Pacheco went, Pollard went, I took Swift, and then Montgomery went after.
B
All right, a few quick questions here. Any update on when we will hear about Jamie's leftovers leagues?
C
Yes, when I have a chance to take a look at it, I will discuss with Adam the, the people he did not choose and then I will go through all the emails that were sent. So if you want to continue to send, hopefully interesting, funny entries, that would help. But I will make that decision in the next day or so. We will probably do those drafts post Labor Day, pre Thursday.
B
How about this?
D
1, 2, 3, 4.
C
Bengals all around the ground.
B
Adam said it's gonna go bonanza.
C
And that's the game of the week.
B
Yeah, I think Bengals Browns has a good chance to be the game of the week. That was an acoustic version by one of our listeners of game of the week.
A
I thought it was me for a second.
C
It was not.
B
All right, we're out of here. Oh, some team name Tuesdays on a Wednesday. I have Romo Dunesay and Drake May. Rome wasn't built in a May.
A
No, it's really bad.
C
Yeah, I, I, I just see some, some messages here. I'm gonna, I'm gonna reward two guys that are always with us in our chat.
B
Oh, Johnny Airport.
C
Johnny Airport. Send an email. Make sure we know it's you. And Mr. Papinski sent an email. You guys are in the leftover league.
A
I Bet we get 10 emails. Say, I am Johnny Airport.
B
I am Mr.
C
Malik.
B
Oh, this isn't bad, Malika. Good neighbors. Stafford is there.
C
That's good.
B
And how about a Mecca Leka high Mecca Heiny Heiney ho.
C
Yeah, one more. I don't know how to pronounce it. Is it Apex Fusey?
B
Oh, this guy. Yeah.
C
Yeah, he's into, he's always here too.
B
Okay, cool. Last thing. Dave, I need your help with something. I won a fantasy league last year and my.
D
No, now I know you're lying.
B
My reward is I get to choose the team name and avatar for the last place team. And the last place team is someone we used to work with, Justin. He's a Gators fan. So I've got one day to figure out the team name and the avatar how to punish this Gators fan. So you put your thinking cap on.
C
And we'll make oh boy.
B
I mean it's got to be something like, you know, I let's go Canes. But but better.
A
You know, I think Tebow sucks. Anything upset a Gator fan, you should.
C
Get someone to do a Tebow in a Gator in a Hurricanes jersey as the avatar.
B
I don't want Tebow in a Hurricanes jersey. Tim Tebow, by the way, the only person ever to make a motivational speech to his team. Put a freaking statue up for it. Unbelievable.
A
He two Come on.
C
Yeah, it's not like he won two.
B
I love Tim Tebow. He won one. Come on. He won one.
C
He won two.
B
He won one. I I I love Tebow. Actually a Tebow fan, but the worshiping of Tim Tebow gives me indigestion. And with that, we are out of here. We will see at 1pm Eastern CBS Sports Network 5pm Eastern for the draft a thon show YouTube.com fantasy football today. See you later.
