Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright.
Mike Wright
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the podcast. It's a fantasy footballers powder podcast. If you're nasty. Thank you.
Jason Moore
I was ready.
Mike Wright
That's my best friend, Jason Moore.
Jason Moore
Hey, what's going on, best friend? Mike, right?
Mike Wright
Andy's not here today.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he's.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Jason Moore
He was here today. He was here today, but he is not able to be on the show. So sorry, but now you get like. Because this is. This is your questions today, and we're going to go wherever we want to go on today's show. And Dad's not here. Maybe we'll just have a little bit more fun.
Mike Wright
I'll set a puzzle for everyone.
Jason Moore
Okay.
Mike Wright
Andy's missing has. He has a lot in common with a. An animated character from a kids movie. That's probably a little too vague. I'll go animated. Animal.
Jason Moore
Okay, okay, okay. I still. I know the issue, and I can't solve the puzzle.
Mike Wright
Wow, you're not as smart as YouTube.
Jason Moore
All right.
Mike Wright
It's his teeth. Jason.
Jason Moore
I would have gone, maybe Lloyd Christmas, but you do you.
Mike Wright
It was a toothless reference. Ah, but Lloyd Christmas really would have. Yeah, it happened again, ladies and gentlemen. But he will. He will be back.
Jason Moore
This time in the front. I wasn't sure we were gonna even mention why, but, I mean, it happened.
Mike Wright
It happened. He's gonna get repaired. Everything's gonna be okay, we think. Let's see. On today's show, I'm going to talk a little bit about draft worries.
Jason Moore
It's not the first time, and it will. No, it will not be the last time. There's no way at this point.
Mike Wright
So little draft, and it is a mailbag show. Not a ton of news, but we will. We'll talk about it hey, make sure you check out the ultimate draft kits. Ultimate draft kit.com you can pre order the regular, the base level or if you want to get on the UDK plus just skip all over that.
Jason Moore
Go UDK plus go to FootClan.com oh, we're skipping all. We're skipping all. Just go to go to FootClan.com and just become an ultimate Foot Clan member. It's one thing. You get everything we ever do for the whole year. All the highest tier, the every episode, every special recording, every DFS dynasty ranking. Just. We don't have anything outside of that. It's easy.
Mike Wright
Just there won't be pictures of Andy's. No, I mean you would have to message him and ask for those quick question of the day or you know,
Jason Moore
AI them or something. But we, we won't do that. We would never.
Mike Wright
Quick question of the day. Which players fantasy value are you most worried about being impacted from the NFL draft?
Jason Moore
So this one is purely.
Mike Wright
I'm looking at a very selfish list.
Jason Moore
Yes, you are. This one is purely selfish. 100% selfish. But the question is who am I worried about being impacted from the NFL draft? And I, I think it's going to be Chris Olave. Chris Olave is a very good wide receiver, but it is super duper awesome when you're getting 30 plus percent of the target share because you are pretty much the only man in town. And I fully expect he wasn't though,
Mike Wright
like towards the end, I mean, Devon Vale, you know, the bye week. So I guess in the game right before the bye week, that's when everything really changed. You had the Rashid Shahid trade and then everyone was like, oh yeah, remember when we gave up multiple picks to get Devon Vale onto our team and he has not played at all well. He played five games and I mean he was, he was making an impact.
Jason Moore
But even then I'm looking, I'm looking, you know, after the bi week later in the season when they had Vale, 30% target share, 28, 29, 39, 41% target share, finishes the season with 30% target share. That's not going to happen. If you draft Carnell Tate Valley after
Mike Wright
the bye week was at 21%.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean, but Vale is not one of these top three wide receivers. I think there's a good chance the Saints take one of the top three wide receivers.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Jason Moore
And I believe that would have an impact on Olave. Olave is a very good wide receiver. You might argue he is like the world's best wide receiver. Too like he shouldn't really be the wide receiver one for an NFL team. I think he would be awesome next to another stud and but he will be impacted for, you know, fantasy purposes. This is a guy who you're coming off of a hard to remember. He was the wide receiver six. Yeah like that's how good. And he will not be a top six wide receiver. If they draft one of those top three guys and then I think we can, we can name a bunch of people that we cared about.
Mike Wright
I like Olavi. I'm not worried about him. I think he's a stud and the situation around him had just really eroded and you were hoping that it can be at least okay. It's his career with Garrett Wilson is just, it's so wild of seeming how just on these parallel lines both of these guys have been going except now I feel more confident that Olave has taken the off ramp of he has a very strong offensive coach who will give us extra snaps every single game. And I believe in Tyler Shuck. I think perhaps Shuck can't elevate to being one of the, you know, like a top five quarterback in the league. But he looked pretty good to me as a, as a, as a second round pick who was, you know, just finishing off a rookie year with, with like you said, they weren't flush with top tier weapons.
Jason Moore
I mean Joanne Johnson's one of their
Mike Wright
primary passes and he's a fine tight end but he's, he probably shouldn't be,
Jason Moore
I would say as much as I like. I mean if you look at weeks 10 through 17, that's when Tyler Schuck was, you know, starting. You had olave on a 17 game pace of 109 receptions, 1464 yards and 14 and a half touchdowns. That's, that's not wide receiver one numbers. That's like the wide receiver one type of numbers.
Mike Wright
For me it's, it's selfish. And the most obvious one is Chase Brown. As we had a report right before recording because we're recording this Monday afternoon that the Bengals are going to meet with Jeremiah Love. Now they are picking at number 10.
Jason Moore
They are picking a 10.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
So you don't think there's any chance
Mike Wright
you can get there? I said my odds of Jeremiah Love being available at 10, I'm putting it at less than 5%.
Jason Moore
I mean obviously you've got to get through a few. I don't believe that the Giants are actually going to pull the trigger at 5 now 4.
Mike Wright
I don't think they will have a Chance.
Jason Moore
Well, sure. I mean the Titans are heavily rumored and I could see. I think that that is the, the biggest trap for him. Not getting to 10 would be the Titans just take or the they take him right off the bat. Pick four, he's off the board. Then you get to pick seven with the commanders. They could very, very much use him. I think that he fits their team perfect. I love that. But they have a lot of needs. They need a wide receiver very badly and so maybe they don't draft him. Then you would have had an issue with Kansas City at 9. But they spent the money on Kimball and Walker. They're not. They're out of the Jeremiah Love.
Mike Wright
Right. And right before them was the Saints are in there as well and they gave all the money to Travis ETN or hn. We're still trying to figure this one out.
Jason Moore
Still trying. We want people to know who it is and when we say Travis HN people as of today will not know who we're talking.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it really is difficult because we want to respect the guys name and but we also have we people need to know who you're talking about. So it's a difficult thing. We'll see how. Because he said I can't remember did he say like he wants it to be that way or he's like this is what it's supposed to be.
Jason Moore
He was totally fine.
Mike Wright
He's fine with etn.
Jason Moore
He's totally fine with etn. But he also said it'd be nice if people start saying etn.
Mike Wright
It's like Camara. Whereas like was it Alvin Camara or is it Kamara? And he's like well I say Camara. My mom says Kamara. And you're like why? Well we're trying to help you out here, man. You help us. So we'll figure that one out over, over the next few weeks.
Jason Moore
I say tomato.
Mike Wright
Right. So my selfish one is Chase Brown. I don't think that Jeremiah Love gets there and this draft is interesting because I don't. There's a. There's of course there's always plenty of players who are on. On the hot seat of. It seems like they could be easily replaced like in this draft like oh, danger, danger. Your starting spot is up for grabs. I think we're just. I think it's going to be a bunch of surprises of these rookies going to places. Right? Oh well, I don't know if I totally saw that. So my honest biggest worry about the draft for who will be impacted the most is the rookies because you have the Cleveland Browns and the jets and I just, I don't want to keep dunking on them. Right. But.
Jason Moore
But they're probably.
Mike Wright
They take two of Carnell Tate, Jordan Tyson and Makai Lemon. If two of those guys end up on those two teams, it's going to suck.
Jason Moore
That will poo poo all over the drafts. And the thing is is we. You don't want to overreact to players going to bad destinations. It's very common that great players go to bad destinations.
Mike Wright
We remember we have Garrett Wilson who at this point it feels like Garrett Wilson will never. His fantasy production will never equal what you are looking at on the field of his talent.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I agree with that. But like A.J. brown back in the day he went to the Titans. Everyone was really upset because they weren't a good team. And when you look at the draft you go, okay, the Raiders, they're the worst team in the league statistically. They got the number one pick. The Titans, the Giants, the Commanders, the Saints, those are all bottom 10 teams.
Mike Wright
But I have faith of their.
Jason Moore
Exactly. Because they're good organizations. It's not the same with the jets and the Browns. It's just not the same if they when they go there and those two teams are going to be drafting another wide receiver. So hopefully it's not one of those top three guys. It will suck. It will suck and I will move them down in my heart and in my rankings.
Mike Wright
The draft is on the way. So we are just a couple of weeks away. Very, very exciting times for the rookies. We will be talking much more draft as the weeks go along. Let's get into the news.
Jason Moore
News and notes from around the league.
Mike Wright
Kirk Cousins can't stop, won't stop. He has Jason. Hopefully you haven't read this blurb. 321 million in career earnings. He trails only Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford in his quest to somehow earn more money than any other player in the NFL.
Jason Moore
It's an incredible job. And the gold jacket goes to Kirk Cousins agent. I mean he's done great work. Part of that jacket needs to be shared with Cousins himself because he held to his guns on. He started back in the day with the first like I only want guaranteed money. I'm not doing well.
Mike Wright
He had to deal with being on Washington of them wherever the breakdown was happening. I think he played two years on a franchise so it was like he just kept getting well, here's full guaranteed money. Okay, here's full guaranteed money. And then he stayed healthy and played well like this isn't to dunk on the career or dunk just crap on Kirk Cousins career. He has been a good, solid quarterback, but when you look at the highest
Jason Moore
paid quarterback, when you think of the
Mike Wright
highest paid quarterbacks, you're like, okay, this guy has taken a team very far in the postseason, should have at least a Super bowl, and yet he, he has the money.
Jason Moore
It was funny when it first was announced like he signed with the Raiders.
Mike Wright
My bad.
Jason Moore
When the deal came out, it was like signing a 10 year, $150 million deal. It's really basically a one year, $11.3 million contract that the Raiders are going to owe. Some of the money will be owed from the Falcons and there is a, an enormous like poison pill amount of money on this contract at the end of this off season, almost forcing the Raiders to let him go into free agency. But it's a pretty clever way to have the contract work for the cap space for, you know, all teams involved. And then Kirk Cousins will be in the same position next year to sign for more money.
Mike Wright
Yes. So he's going to the Raiders. You know, over the last couple months, I think that the Raiders have reiterated they want the number one pick to sit. It's. It's going to be Mendoza. They've talked about. They want Mendoza to sit maybe a whole year. I don't know if in today's NFL you can actually sit down the first overall pick for the entirety of the season. That. It's a just, it's a different business now. Used to be able to do that. It's much, much more difficult.
Jason Moore
Who do you think is the week one starter in Kirk Cousins? I do too. I think Kirk Cousins starts and probably plays half the season.
Mike Wright
Kirk played with coach Kubbs up in Minnesota for a couple years. I, It's a lot of money. So we're just, we're joking about Cousins making money. But I think this is solid. You want, if you're going to vest the first pick in a quarterback, having Kirk Cousins here to, to teach him how to play. And I think that at this point Cousins will, I think he'll accept that. Like he, you know, he's always seemed like a solid dude, at least from the videos that we're privy to as the public. I, but he understands I'm here for a year. I'm here to redeem my value for free agency for next year. But I'm also going to teach this kid how to be a pro, how to earn as much money as possible. He's going to help him with that.
Jason Moore
You could teach him so much. What's funny about this is I don't think I've ever seen someone talk about Mendoza as a prospect and not mention Kirk Cousins name. Not unrelated to this. It's like, oh, he's like, he's like a bigger Kirk Cousins the, the clean mouth. Yeah, it's basically just. It's almost personality.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
It's basically just they're both pretty goobers, man. And so you can't find a better mentor for Mendoza.
Mike Wright
Does Mendoza get down with Kohl's cash for sure? Probably for sure.
Jason Moore
I mean, you know, does he look
Mike Wright
at the full price and then the markdown, he's like, I can't believe this thing's marked down 50%.
Jason Moore
When these guys get together, everything's marked. I'm one week in, one weekend of their relationship being together. There's. Kirk Cousins will have a handshake agreement to be the godfather of Mendoza's children. For sure, these guys are going to be two peas and a Coles bros. But from a fantasy perspective, this is really good news for Brock Bowers, I believe. You see a lot of times we talk about this through great rookie seasons. Like Bo Nix a couple years ago it was like Phoenix had a great rookie season, but we always have to like delete the first month because the training wheels were on the first month. Like if you, if you look at his rookie season from week five on because he's more of a pro, then when you start week one as a rookie quarterback in the NFL, unless you're Cam Newton, it doesn't usually just have prolific stat padding for those kind of quarterbacks. And so having the beginning of the season actually be a veteran quarterback, most likely. I like that. I like that for Genty, I like that for Bowers. And then when Mendoza does come in, it's halfway through the season. It can hit the ground running. More like what we saw from Tyler Schuck last year.
Mike Wright
Yep.
Jason Moore
And so I think it actually is important for fantasy.
Mike Wright
Adam Schefter has reported the NFL concluded that Chiefs wide receiver Rasheed Rice did not violate the personal conduct policy. If you recall, there was an accusation violent and abusive behavior filed by the mother of two of his children and former girlfriend. So apparently he will be in the clear, at least for that.
Jason Moore
Yeah, there is still an upcoming court case for.
Mike Wright
Oh, I do not remember this, I
Jason Moore
believe for the vehicle stuff.
Mike Wright
Oh, but didn't he already had the suspension last year?
Jason Moore
Okay, that was for the vehicle.
Mike Wright
I thought so.
Jason Moore
Yeah. If that's the case we are free and clear here. And until the next issue, he will
Mike Wright
be on thin ice for suspensions. If anything comes through, any sort of perf, he'll be in big trouble.
Jason Moore
Do you think he is undervalued in like draft rankings when we didn't see a ton because you had the suspension the first six games for Rushy Rice last year and then you had the injury of Mahomes. So the end of the year was like okay, you didn't. But when you had him with Mahomes, he's basically like a top 12 wide receiver every single week.
Mike Wright
He started week seven, which he scored 20 points, 21 points, 16.6, has a down game, 6.8, 20.1, 25.4 and then things kind of fell apart over there.
Jason Moore
Week 15 is when Mahomes went down to injury. So you still had yes for white.
Mike Wright
For fantasy football he will score a lot of points. So yes, in. In terms of speaking only on that then yeah, he knowing that he's not
Jason Moore
going to be suspended, it's.
Mike Wright
It's pretty valuable. We got a report this one was just made me funny or maybe laugh a little bit. It's being reported that Juwan Jennings is asking for too much money.
Jason Moore
Jennings, what are you doing?
Mike Wright
He's going to be 29. He is a solid player. Oftentimes solid players believe they should be paid like great players.
Jason Moore
He should be paid a good amount of money.
Mike Wright
There's got to be. Someone has to have cash.
Jason Moore
For Juwan James, I think the issue
Mike Wright
right now and teams have to want him.
Jason Moore
The teams would want him but the issue for him is because he was asking for too much money and didn't get signed early.
Mike Wright
We are so close missed that first wave.
Jason Moore
We're so close to the draft where there is. There are so many Juwan Jennings in this draft and they those Juwan Jennings will be played his hand and those Juwan Jennings will be younger. It's like if I'm a gm, I'm not signing Juwan Jennings right now. If the draft doesn't fall my way and the specific wide receivers I liked went to other teams and whatever then. Then I'll go sign him after the draft. But I would be surprised if he signs before the draft which means search for news during this show he'll probably sign.
Mike Wright
We did get some positive comments about Tank Dell. Coach d' Amico Ryan's said his status for OTA is uncertain. They expect him at some point this year. A Another beat reporter for the Texans, Jonathan M. Alexander said I expect him to be ready for week one. That'd be great. Tank Dell is a good player and the Texans are better when he's on the field.
Jason Moore
Yeah, as is C.J. stroud.
Mike Wright
All right, we'll take a quick break and be right back with the mailbag.

Mailbag.
Mike Wright
Thank you. Oh, I mean, I didn't even Hardwood bear extraordinaire Jay Grizz over there holding it down. We we'll lose Jay Gris. Okay, I wasn't asking for that. I was just telling the people at
Jason Moore
home we're never asking for that. Every time. That thing is just a frying pan to the face.
Mike Wright
It's a good jam. He's Jig Grizz.
Jason Moore
The problem is it kind of sticks in my head.
Mike Wright
All right, if you would like to submit a question for future mailbags, just go to the website or if you want to do a voicemail, that's 302-464-TFFB. No voicemails today, but we have our first question from Andrew off of ig. It's Bucky Irving. I like this. I think Dynasty price check on Bucky Irving is a is a topical question right now. The question is should I trade bucky for the 104 rookie pick? Which that's an easy one to put a name to. It's one of the three wide receivers. So it's like you can just run through them.
Jason Moore
I would, I would rather have each one of those three wide receivers over Bucky Irving.
Mike Wright
Okay, well, what if it's Carnell Tate on the Cleveland Browns? He's the last one left.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that's what I was just going to say. Carnell Tate goes number six to Cleveland. He will be third in my big three. So he would be this pick for Bucky and I would take, I would take the young top 10 drafted wide receiver over the smaller fourth round running back that you know has had a breakout but also been dealing with injuries. So yeah, I would rather have the 104 for Bucky. Now there is a pretty big.
Mike Wright
They brought Kenneth Gainwell in to compete for touches for Bucky on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jason Moore
Yeah, there's a fairly large gap between the 104 and the 105 as of now. Not knowing how the NFL draft falls, I feel like you could convince me that Bucky is worth more than the 105 depending on what you think about Sadiq. And honestly, like man, I am. We said this on the, we said this on the rookie preview show last week, but I am so, so close to putting Stowers ahead of Sadiq. Oh, I feel like I need to do it now because I won't be able to do it after the draft. You know, I mean because Sadiq will be drafted higher or we presume he will overstowers. But seems like I like Stowers more
Mike Wright
than Sadiq and Bucky is a tough evaluation right now because you had the breakout of year one and then a deleted year and now and the best competition in my opinion that he's had on the team of Kenny Gainwell. I probably prefer the, the rookie wide receiver if you, you know, try and do a zoom out real quick. Don't have the landing spots but it's like once the landing spots are secure, who's going first in a startup draft?
Jason Moore
Those three.
Mike Wright
Those three wide receivers or Bucky Irving?
Jason Moore
Easily be those three wide receivers.
Mike Wright
I'll say probably most likely I'm not going easily.
Jason Moore
Well, it would easily be those three wide receivers for me in a startup because I.
Mike Wright
Then you should. Then you should easily trade bucky for the 104.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I would. I don't like building my. If I'm building a dynasty team from scratch, I do not like pretty much the first two rounds. I hate when I get a running back but if I do get a running back in the first two rounds, it's because it's Bijan. It's because it's one of the most
Mike Wright
of the flip that real quick. You're a contender. You have bucky. Bucky's your RB2 right now.
Jason Moore
Would you go for I'm a contender and Bucky's my RB2.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
If I'm real considered he's my RB3. You know what I'm saying?
Mike Wright
No he's not Jason. I would say
Jason Moore
I would still take the vote. I think that hopefully I don't believe Carnell Tate. Like when I've been mock drafting I have Carnell Tate falling to eight to the Saints and that that bypasses really the big problem is pick six for the Browns.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Pick six for the Browns is where they can ruin it by taking one of those three guys. They're going to take a wide receiver but they have plenty of more draft capital later to take one of the guys that I just don't even like already. So I don't think that there's a guarantee one of those three is ruined.
Mike Wright
I would make the trade Brian off of IG says why is no one talking about Parker Washington? Parker Washington if you do not recall Jacksonville Jaguars pretty much had a breakout campaign last year.
Jason Moore
Wide receiver three or wide receiver two or wide receiver one.
Mike Wright
Yeah. What is happening One or two not sure. And so just you know have a dicey conversation about it. And then there's the follow up Is Parker Washington Worth the 108? I assume this is what I trade the 108 for Parker Washington which just reading it that sounds difficult of a guy who he didn't come out of nowhere like we already knew who Parker Washington was but this level of success feels like it came out of nowhere. But it's Liam Cohen the you guys have shared your thoughts on Brian's Thomas Jr. Of perhaps he's not even long for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Just how are you going about valuing Parker Washington and who then they had the addition of Jacoby Myers like in the middle of the season.
Jason Moore
Yeah. So I think Parker Washington is undervalued
Mike Wright
like the second half I think he's is when Parker Washington really it changed after the bye week.
Jason Moore
I think he's really good. My Felix model had a talent score of 91 on him as a prospect minus draft.
Mike Wright
Oh my right now doing a little back testing.
Jason Moore
Yeah. That is not as sticky as the actual Felix model with the draft capital which once you have him the draft capital he's like a 45th percentile which is why you saw two and a half years of him do nothing. He was Round pick.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
And so who cares Now a breakout can happen and can then be sticky and that could have happened more often than not that draft capital sticks around for just about ever. Unless you are, you know, obviously if you puka, if you come out the gates and you've got bad draft capital, but you establish yourself as a superstar right away, okay. Draft capital no longer matters forever. However, when you break it out in the back half of year three, you aren't seen as a core foundational piece of a franchise. You're probably not going to have the team building around you this year, especially with Brian Thomas Jr. There. And so I would rather have the 108. But that does not mean that I think Parker Washington's current value is. He is, he is good. He is better than what his value is. But I think there's a gap there between the 108 is going to be probably a second round wide receiver.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it will be after the bye week. Parker Washington's pace was 1200 yards and that includes a game he got hurt and only played 38% of the snaps. And then the week he came back, he only played 45% of the snaps as he was ramping back in the second half was fantastic for Parker Washington. He's in the final year of his contract. So Jacksonville, if you're looking at this from dynasty, Jacksonville is going to have to make a decision of their decision.
Jason Moore
Like their decision is made with Brian Thomas Jr. What they do with them
Mike Wright
because they have to, they upped, they, they re upped Jacoby.
Jason Moore
They have to pick one of those two.
Mike Wright
Right. So yeah, maybe they'll be, they'll be playing for their, for the contract.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I mean they always are.
Mike Wright
I'm not, I'm not trading the 108 for Parker Washington. I'm like it might, it might be fair. But being a year three guy and then having that breakout over the second half, I'm not willing to take on the probability risk that Parker Washington, that was the best year of his career. Like that is one of the possibilities.
Jason Moore
So yeah, because I mean we haven't even mentioned Travis Hunter because he's a cornerback wide receiver. But that's more competition there as well.
Mike Wright
All right, we got the next question is from Tony off of IG dynasty value for Kyron Williams, 25 and a half. He's in year five. He did get the bag last year. So that, I mean that, that tells you that he will at least have his job.
Jason Moore
He'll at least have it this year.
Mike Wright
This year. But Blake Corum was used a lot more. Blake Corum showed there is a reason that he was drafted in the NFL. It's like this is a situation that could quickly enter a full 50. 50.
Jason Moore
I don't believe that.
Mike Wright
I really think Kyren is that much better.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I think Kyren is that much better. Now, obviously last year it wasn't, it wasn't what it was. It wasn't like the 90, 10 of years past last year. I think you're going to see more of that where you have a shared workload. But I don't believe it'll be 50. 50. Kyren is their guy. He's also got a pretty nice contract. So he's under contract the next three years. He can get, they can get out of it very cheaply after this season.
Mike Wright
Yes, that would be the concern.
Jason Moore
But that's what I like about the contract. This isn't a type of contract that I feel like. This isn't Todd Gurley levels. That's crippling your ability to build a team. He's paid 10 million a year. That's a lot. That's. That's a good chunk of change. But if you feel like he's an important part of your offense, 10 million a year is like, okay, we don't have to get out of this.
Mike Wright
Right.
Jason Moore
You know, they would, they would still have 2.3 million dead cap next year if they got out of it next year. Which means they're just saving 8 million, which is, I mean, maybe they'll have to. But I think he's safe for two years. Which means for dynasty, if that was the question, what's the dynasty value for Kyron? He has, he's a keep for you.
Mike Wright
Would you acquire Kyron?
Jason Moore
I think he is. He belongs on a championship contending team. Okay.
Mike Wright
So if you're a contender lacking an RB2, you're willing to go pay the price.
Jason Moore
Because to go to trade for Kyron, I would give up my first round. If I'm a contender, I'm a back half first round pick. If I've got like the, the 110, you know, because I was one of
Mike Wright
the best ones and won't get it done. You'll need more.
Jason Moore
Yeah. But I would be willing to go start negotiations and try to acquire him. And if I'm, if I'm a middling team, if I am, this is the type of player like we got that we got there every couple of years the crops of great running backs that get old and you start seeing we saw this with Derek Henry forever ago and then forever, which is there are certain players out there that they need to be moved. They should only be on the contending teams. If you're not a contending team, capitalize right now. You can get more than the 110 for Kyron Williams, and you should do that because he. He's not going to be around four and five years from now. He's not built like Derek Henry, and he doesn't have that kind of. He didn't come into the NFL with the name value like a bijon or someone. So will he get another contract after this? Probably not one that is, like, meaningful for fantasy football. So if I'm a middling team or a rebuilding team and Kyron's on my roster, I'm looking to trade him to a championship contender.
Mike Wright
In related news, Kyle the Borgogan has just put Kyron Williams on the trade block.
Jason Moore
Oh, he's got him. Maybe I'll. Maybe I'll grab him this episode.
Mike Wright
Please do. Please just please have your whole entire team just be running backs and you can pretend you're a contender. All right?
Jason Moore
Those words anger me.
Mike Wright
Let's see, we got Roma Dunes. A. This question is off of Twitter from Jason says it's a keeper question. Roma Dunes in the seventh or Emeka Egbegbu, a Mecca Igbuka in the eighth.
Jason Moore
That's a really fun one because both guys were disappointed down the stretch. Rome, really? Both guys got out to a smoking hot start.
Mike Wright
The exact same thing, though, of, like, just catching nonstop touchdowns. Gosh, Their. Their beginning of their seasons is hilarious. This one's.
Jason Moore
I know, I know my.
Mike Wright
This one is easily a Mecca.
Jason Moore
Okay. That's where I am for me. Yeah, it's. It's a Mecca. I think it's. It's closer. Rome. Rome has much more competition than a big Boo does.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it is. It's hard to say his name right now.
Jason Moore
Hard. Abu Rob Gronkowski has murdered Mika Egbegboo. Emeka Egbeg Boo. I can't even say it, man.
Mike Wright
I mean, a Mecca Ebuka.
Jason Moore
It's awful. This is a guy I just adored and loved. He was a my guy last year. And then Rob Gronkowski put that monstrous comment out. Ruined his career and our brains. But yeah, a Mecca doesn't have the target competition. He's not dealing with, like, right now. Luther Burden and Mr. Loveland.
Mike Wright
Oh, they have.
Jason Moore
They've.
Mike Wright
They have it left. It's like they're sleeping in the weight room.
Jason Moore
Either one of them could be the One over Rome. And Rome could still be the one as well.
Mike Wright
Sure.
Jason Moore
We just don't know. I don't think that there is another player on the roster for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers now that Mike Evans is gone.
Mike Wright
Chris Godwin.
Jason Moore
Okay. I guess Godwin could be the one in a big. I will never say his name.
Mike Wright
What is wrong with you?
Jason Moore
What is Rob with me? Okay, that's. What's Rob Gronkowski. Yeah. I mean, at this stage, I expect a Mecca Ebuka to be the one for their. Like, that's my expectation.
Mike Wright
I j. I think it's more likely that he's the one than Rome becoming the one.
Jason Moore
Yes. I genuinely don't know. Like, I'm going to have to. When we start after the draft stating up for the udk. I'm going to have to dive deep to figure out the target pecking order for the Bears.
Mike Wright
I'm into a BUCA this year. I'll go one more year of like take another shot. Yeah. It started. It started so hot. He's a great wide receiver, right?
Jason Moore
That's the thing that was so weird is he was a great wide receiver. Then he was drafted in the first round and then he was a great wide receiver. And then. And then all of a sudden Baker couldn't throw the ball to him and he couldn't catch. So weird.
Mike Wright
This next question is from Joshua in Texas. I am in a super flex dynasty league. My team is terrible. I got a trade offer of AJ Brown for Jalen Waddle. Interesting. Okay, so this is a.
Jason Moore
This is.
Mike Wright
This is getting out of aging an aging veteran who will probably be on the downside of his career. AJ Brown will be playing at 29 this year. How is Waddle?
Jason Moore
27.3. It's like a year and a half.
Mike Wright
Really?
Jason Moore
I know, right? It feels like J.J. brown.
Mike Wright
What?
Jason Moore
Well, Jalen Waddle came in a little later.
Mike Wright
I don't think I would do that.
Jason Moore
I don't think I would rather have A.J.
Mike Wright
brown. Yeah, I would stick with A.J. brown.
Jason Moore
Like, but to be fair, I don't understand how this is worded. I think they might be getting A.J. i mean, it says I got a trade off of AJ Brown for Jalen Waddle.
Mike Wright
That could go either way, I guess. So we'll just say we are on the side.
Jason Moore
We'll just say yes. Yes.
Mike Wright
You figure it out.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Where's your question? Better.
Jason Moore
We're both preferring AJ Brown over Jalen Waddle.
Mike Wright
Okay, let's say you. You have A.J. brown. There's still all the rumors the Patriots rumors have not gone away. They have. They have now just shifted to, well, it's going to happen after June 1st. It could.
Jason Moore
I believe that.
Mike Wright
So do you, if you hold on to A.J. brown, do you want him to move to the Patriots or do you want him to stay? No, I would.
Jason Moore
I would much rather him move to the Patriots. I want him to move to just about anywhere. Obviously, if you move to a team that has no quarterback. But I don't. The thing about a nice veteran like this who's got a humongous amount of money on his contract and would expect probably a new contract.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
Upon arrival.
Mike Wright
Yeah. I think a trade means more new cash.
Jason Moore
There isn't a team out there without a quarterback that is doing that. So I don't worry like, oh, he's going to go to this bad team that has no quarterback because why would they trade capital for an aging vet and then give him a bunch of cash if they don't have the quarterback figured out? This is a team like the Patriots. It's like we've got our quarterback, you know, the commanders where it's like we've got a good team but we need to support our quarterback with another stud. And I think that when he gets traded for draft capital and given a new contract, the targets will be coming. So I want them traded.
Mike Wright
All right, quick break. Back with some more questions.

Mike in Baltimore is Isaiah Pacheco a must have running back now that he is behind Gibbs.
Jason Moore
No, I mean he will be. He will be rostered in all leagues and has to be rostered. But a must have to me is like someone that you're going to be playing.
Mike Wright
Well I think if Jameer Gibbs is not playing, you'd be starting Pacheco Horse.
Jason Moore
But that just means he's an insurance running back.
Mike Wright
Yeah, but so he's like the level of Insurance that Pacheco provides for the Detroit Lions.
Jason Moore
He is a very important insurance back. I mean, you're going to look around the league and say, okay, who's behind Bijan? Who's behind Gibbs? Who's behind McCaffrey? Who's behind. And then if there is a clear backup and Pacheco appears to be the clear backup, then those will be important guys. I'm fine drafting them. I'm fine dropping them if I need to.
Mike Wright
Well, let's just go that Pacheco versus the other B. Robinson.
Jason Moore
Who.
Mike Wright
Who's. Who's got the higher premium, your monthly premiums, waiting for the payout. Who's higher?
Jason Moore
I would rather have Brian Robinson.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Jason Moore
I think that he has shown more in the last year and a half when given opportunities. He's looked pretty good. And Pacheco has never looked remotely the same after that leg break. I mean, this was a guy who was on fire, looked great. We loved how he destroyed the turf when he ran and he broke his leg. It was unfortunate. His opportunity to be a bell cow and get that bag didn't happen. But then when he came back, it was like we forgave him because he just came back from a leg break and he. He looked worse than Kareem Hunt, an aging vet. So then you go into the next year and you're like, okay, there was some news like, oh, he's looking good. And I don't know, did he ever look good to you last year? No. Yeah, me either. So I'll take the guy that still looks good.
Mike Wright
All right, let's stay in Detroit. Felix, off of ig, what is Jameson Williams value in Dynasty? So Jameson Williams, 25, freshly 25 years old, apparently because of the website says he's 25.0. I don't know his actual birthday, but happy birthday. Whenever it was, he was a first half blunder and a second half wonder and he finished as a top ten way.
Jason Moore
Wait a minute.
Mike Wright
Is it his birthday today?
Jason Moore
It's not his birthday today, but what if I told you that he was Andy's my guy and his birthday is March 26th. Are you telling me he didn't know that? Of course.
Mike Wright
Really?
Jason Moore
That's why he was a my guy. B Day Bros. B day bros.
Mike Wright
Second half, he turned, but daybreak. Right. So birthday bros. Second half, he finished as a top 10 wide receiver. It was awesome. That was. And you do recall Coach Guns Mahoney, AKA Dan Campbell, took play calling and said, you stink of this. I'm going to do it because you can't figure out how to get Jameson Williams the ball. It's actually very easy. According to head coach Guns Mahoney, where do you have Jameson Williams? Because that, that's really like he was a top 20 guy back in 2024 off of 58 catches for 1007. So I mean, like that's not really anything spectacular.
Jason Moore
I've got him right now in dynasty leagues as my wide receiver. 17. And every time I look at that, I think he might be too low. Wait, he might be too high every time.
Mike Wright
He was higher in points per game two years ago because I didn't realize
Jason Moore
that because it's like right now I've got him obviously behind the Chris Olave, George Pickens. The same kind of age.
Mike Wright
George Pickens.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Illegally high in my rankings.
Jason Moore
Yeah. And so Jameson, you can make really strong arguments. Nice big long contract, freshly minted, 25 years old, great offense, quarterback stability. That he is great. But his inconsistency I don't think goes away. I think the place that I don't believe he's going to be 100 catch receiver ever, you know, and so he's a frustrating fantasy asset to have. So I look at him and I'm like, okay, would you rather have a 25 year old? All those things I just said, that is on a good offense. But he's 25. Or the aging A.J. brown. Jameson Williams is that easy for you?
Mike Wright
Yeah, it is.
Jason Moore
So I have him above A.J. brown in my rankings. Like A.J. brown is at 19, Jameson Williams is at 17. When I think through this, I feel like I would rather have A.J. brown to be able to put in the starting lineup more confidently right now. But then of course the age and the gap. So I mean, I, I think he's at the right spot whenever I see a player and I'm like, he should be higher, he should be lower. It's probably Baby bear situation here. I got you.
Mike Wright
Well, it's really Goldilocks. The baby bear was.
Jason Moore
Well, it was always the baby bear who was the one.
Mike Wright
You're right, you're right.
Jason Moore
His jailer is bad.
Mike Wright
I mean, maybe baby bear had it made. I like if you're talking kids have
Jason Moore
it made, you just don't know it yet. The.
Mike Wright
If you're, if you're saying the value this year. AJ Brown on the Eagles. I'll take Jameson Williams.
Jason Moore
Oh, really? Redraft.
Mike Wright
Yeah. A.J. brown on the Patriots. I'll take A.J. brown.
Jason Moore
Okay.
Mike Wright
But I do, I have, I have confident that Jameson Williams will be far more consistent and reliable. This year.
Jason Moore
Dude, have that confidence. Have it.
Mike Wright
Have that confidence.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that's what you see.
Mike Wright
Did I? Yeah. I thought I said I'm far more confident.
Jason Moore
I don't think so. Well, what did I say?
Mike Wright
What did I say back there? Dude, they're not listening.
Jason Moore
Yeah, they're not doing any. They're not paying attention.
Mike Wright
Are you guys playing Minesweeper?
Jason Moore
What are you doing? I wish we had a camera behind.
Mike Wright
I need. We need screen share.
Jason Moore
You ever noticed that the guys who set up the cameras never put a camera behind them so we could see what they're doing? They're like. No.
Mike Wright
Suspicious.
Jason Moore
But did Mike have a Flubby statement?
Mike Wright
I don't know.
Jason Moore
You don't know how to talk, do you?
Mike Wright
No idea.
Jason Moore
Okay, you guys, what were you doing? You guys were not producing this show. What were you doing?
Mike Wright
I was reading ahead.
Jason Moore
Oh, my gosh. I was working a trade offer. Were you Trying to get. You Trying to get Kyron back in. Goodness.
Mike Wright
Because he knows we can't do anything.
Jason Moore
Yeah. This is the time to swoop in.
Mike Wright
He's in the tampering period.
Jason Moore
Fair.
Mike Wright
Unbelievable.
Jason Moore
Illegal tampering period.
Mike Wright
Ridiculous. All right, well, let's. Let's stay talking dynasty. Eli off of IG dynasty value. Cortland Sutton, 30 and a half. He will be entering year nine in the NFL.
Jason Moore
His value is he is farting again.
Mike Wright
It's weird.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Because it's the same thing. You know, it's like Cortland Sutton this year on the Broncos, the wide receiver 13. He should be solid like last.
Jason Moore
Last year, he just finished wide receiver 13.
Mike Wright
He has Jalen Waddle. Waddle now, which is. That's a big difference than anything that they have of our arguments of Pat Bright and Troy Franklin. Jalen Waddle is much, much better than both of those guys.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean, that's the Dynasty issue, is once the Jalen Waddle trade came through, you go, okay, well, Corland Sutton, he'll be a red zone target, but he's not going to be their wide receiver. Right. It seemed like last year they were trying to have him not be the wide receiver one. Or at least I don't think they were trying to manufacture that. But there were large stretches of the season where Troy Franklin was leading him in targets, leading yards, and then Cortland Sutton was saving fantasy value with touchdowns. Corland Sutton's 30 years old. The wheels are going to fall off really, really soon for him, and he already invested in their future.
Mike Wright
He may not even be a Bronco in two years. So, yeah, it's the unknown of where is a 31 and a half year old receiver going to go?
Jason Moore
I don't know if you can package Sutton with someone like Sutton plus another legit player to upgrade, but I would be trying to unload Sutton off of being back to back and half PPR wide receiver 13 two straight years, 120
Mike Wright
plus targets in each of the last two seasons. Do you think he can hit 120 targets?
Jason Moore
No way. No way does it get 100 way.
Mike Wright
No how.
Jason Moore
No way, no how. Not with waddle there. I mean a waddle injury.
Mike Wright
Just a balloon hands. All right, we got, we got, we got maybe one more. Let's go. That guy from someplace.
Jason Moore
Oh dude, I know him.
Mike Wright
You know that guy?
Jason Moore
I know that guy.
Mike Wright
He wants to know. As of right now, I'll read you the names if you are not privy to them. Your least favorite round one pick because we, we often say, you know, like you, you don't win at the draft, but this is where you build your foundation for a very successful year. Jason, your strategy of round one is that of not that you don't want upside, but you do want to feel safe.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Mike Wright
With your pick. I do.
Jason Moore
I think in the first round everyone
Mike Wright
has upside and we know that historically probably, you know, at least 30 plus percent, probably even closer to half of the first round will be disappointing it all. It just happens. Like usually it's injury to derail a first rounder but sometimes it's just, they just don't live up to the hype. So this year, Bijan Jameer. No, that's fine. Love it. Jamar Puka, jsn. No problems.
Jason Moore
They're not scared about any of them.
Mike Wright
Johnny Taylor, Christian McCaffrey, you're.
Jason Moore
Everyone is always scared of Christian McCaffrey.
Mike Wright
Sure.
Jason Moore
But also I'd love to have him.
Mike Wright
He was very fun to have on my team last year. CD Lamb on Raw no fears there. Okay, here's where.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean it makes sense. Back of the first round would be where.
Mike Wright
So that's Justin Jefferson.
Jason Moore
Little scary off of a terrible year, but Kyler I think helps.
Mike Wright
Kyler is, you know, Kyler Murray, the guy that there's on a Cardinals paid to leave. The guy that the majority of Arizonans, if you went and took the poll said we got to get this guy out of here. No one liked Kyler Murray until he was a free agent. Then people love him and they want him on their team.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Because he's not a Cardinal.
Mike Wright
Very strange situation. But. So you got the quarterback situation for Jefferson, you got James Cook and then Ashton Genty. Ashton Genti's still. These are. This is from Best Ball by the way. He's sneaking in there. At the very last pick of the first round, James Cook lost his fullback. Is that.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean he lost his fullback. They also got a wide receiver in theory to be more of an alpha
Mike Wright
and DJ Moore, the coaching change is neutral as it's the oc so the offense should be the same.
Jason Moore
But.
Mike Wright
But I mean it's like can Joe Brady handle the responsibilities of being a head coach? Some guys are awesome offensive coordinators and then they end up being in charge of a team and they can't do it.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean look it. I think the scarier one feels like it's James Cook but in truth it probably should be Ash and Genti.
Mike Wright
It would be Ash and Genti for me because of the. If Kirk's going to play a bunch of the year, that's better.
Jason Moore
They very helpful.
Mike Wright
They overpaid. They got a new center. We love that. We love the new offense that is coming in. So it's Genti. But real quick though, for Taylor, the second half of the year it fell off.
Jason Moore
I mean, I don't care at all about that.
Mike Wright
You don't?
Jason Moore
No, I mean that it wasn't.
Mike Wright
These were games where Daniel Jones was playing. They just were playing harder teams kind of.
Jason Moore
Yes. But also like the last four games of the season which were really bad were Daniel Jones lists. When Daniel Jones left, it was a. I had him. It was a, you know, a wide foot kick to the nards and he had a. When he had the down games, they still weren't like bad games.
Mike Wright
They were first two weeks after the bye week which were Daniel Jones games full 100%. They lost both of them and lost to Kansas City and they lost the Houston Texans in those two games. Jonathan Taylor put up 7.6, half point, point, half point, PPR, whatever, half point scoring and then 13.6.
Jason Moore
Those two defenses are elite run stopping defenses and everyone has a bad game here and there at that point. That's the end of Daniel Jones. He only played like a quarter of the next game and it was a little bit more mild. But I, I'm not worried about, I'm not worried about Jonathan Taylor. He's a freak of nature.
Mike Wright
Well, I bring that up because we. You don't know for sure that when will Daniel Jones be ready to play? Sure. Week one, I don't know.
Jason Moore
Well, week four? Well, no closer to it. And I think he'll he'll move around and fall if he needs to fall. If all of a sudden Daniel Jones is starting on the PUP or something that we don't expect. But at the end, if you look at Ash and Genti being there, who very, very, very talented, you have Kubiak coming in saying he wants to have a timeshare.
Mike Wright
You do have the timeshare.
Jason Moore
Not have as a rookie. And then there's other, there's other running backs out there. Devon Hn, I know that you've got a much worse offense this year, but also it's all Devon Hn, you've got Amarian Hampton that I think I would prefer with the upgraded off line over Genti, I would expect a better overall offense. And I mean you've even got, I think there's a lot of people that are in the Genti tier that you can make an argument. Josh Jacobs bouncing back, not being injured. Ken Bone Walker like that spot to me, I don't know what other wide receivers were on the board, but that spot feels like pretty questionable.
Mike Wright

Episode: Draft Worries + Dynasty Trade Values – 4/7/26
Hosts: Jason Moore & Mike “The Fantasy Hitman” Wright (Andy Holloway absent)
Recorded: April 7, 2026
This episode dives into anxieties surrounding how the NFL Draft could shake up fantasy football player values—especially established assets on the verge of roster competition. The hosts field a packed mailbag with listener dynasty questions, offer transactional advice, and debate trade/keeper values for a range of players. Tone is loose and playful, with a bit of goofiness due to Andy’s absence (“Dad’s not here”). Expect strong opinions, actionable dynasty analysis, and plenty of memorable banter.
Chris Olave (NO WR):
"Olave is a very good wide receiver... but he will not be a top six wide receiver if they draft one of those top three guys." (Jason, 05:43)
“I like Olave. I'm not worried about him. I think he's a stud… strong offensive coach.” (Mike, 06:20)
Chase Brown (CIN RB):
Rookie WRs landing in CLE/NYJ:
“That will poo poo all over the drafts.” (Jason, 10:56) “You don't want to overreact to players going to bad destinations… but those teams, it's just not the same.” (Jason, 11:39)
(Timestamps ~12:18–22:20)
Kirk Cousins’s Career Earnings:
“Kirk Cousins will have a handshake agreement to be the godfather of Mendoza's children. For sure.” (Jason, 16:34) “From a fantasy perspective, this is really good news for Brock Bowers.” (Jason, 17:42)
Rashee Rice (KC WR):
“When you had him with Mahomes, he's basically a top 12 wide receiver every single week.” (Jason, 18:36)
Elsewhere:
(Timestamps ~22:20–55:21)
“I would rather have the 104 for Bucky.” (Jason, 24:02)
“I would rather have the 108. But that does not mean that I think Parker Washington's current value... he is better than what his value is.” (Jason, 28:34)
“He belongs on a championship contending team.” (Jason, 32:38)
“It’s easily a Mecca.” (Mike, 35:13)
“I don't think I would do that. I would stick with A.J. Brown.” (Mike, 38:13)
“He will be rostered in all leagues and has to be rostered. But a must-have to me is someone you’re playing… he’s an insurance back.” (Jason, 41:09)
“His inconsistency I don't think goes away… He's a frustrating fantasy asset to have.” (Jason, 45:33)
“I would be trying to unload Sutton off of being back to back and half PPR wide receiver 13 two straight years.” (Jason, 49:05)
“Scarier one feels like it’s James Cook but... it probably should be Ash and Genti.” (Jason, 52:24)
On Draft Worries:
“You don't want to overreact to players going to bad destinations… but those teams, it's just not the same.” (Jason, 11:39)
On Kirk Cousins:
“The gold jacket goes to Kirk Cousins’ agent. I mean, he’s done great work.” (Jason, 12:47)
On Andy’s Absence:
“Dad’s not here. Maybe we’ll just have a little bit more fun.” (Jason, 01:43)
On Cortland Sutton:
“His value is he is farting again.” (Jason, 47:51)
On the dangers of draft destinations:
“It will suck. And I will move them down in my heart and in my rankings.” (Jason, 11:57)
The episode is rich with actionable advice for dynasty managers prepping for the NFL Draft and navigating tricky June/July trade waters. Listeners can expect bold opinions on draft impact and clear communication on dynasty market values, all delivered with jokes, asides, and a reliably engaging “Footballers” spirit—even with just two out of three hosts present. Highly recommended for both practical strategy and entertainment value.
