Andy Holloway
Welcome in. Welcome to our podcast the Fantasy Footballers. Mike Wright, Jason Moore, Andy Holloway. Maybe you're watching. Maybe you're listening. Week six on the Way Our own league of record has been hyperactive on the trade front. People making decisions apparently five weeks into the year about their futures and whether they think they are contenders or pretenders or planners for next year.
Jason Moore
He's been popping we last week I was trying to make a trade with where I was basically playing for the future because I'm like, I'm on the bubble. I'm in the playoffs right now, but I didn't have the team that looked like it could win and I was.
Andy Holloway
Then I benched Rico Dowdle and gave you confidence that you could like you didn't lose.
Jason Moore
And I have withstood victories through the CD Lamb injury. And so then last night I decided I found a good deal where I sold some of my future assets and I'm in now. And then that inspired Papa Josh to say, well, I'll see you through these picks.
Mike Wright
He's like, are we going to be alive tomorrow? I don't know.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I think he's quitting the league yet after this year because he Traded all of next year's draft, basically.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, he went all in. So, yeah, we've had a lot of trade stuff going on. We had the waiver wire just go.
Mike Wright
Oh, yes, we have to bring this up, Josh. Thank you for reminding us. You know, when you get. When you get the alert and you're like. And it's for sleeper.
Andy Holloway
We play on sleeper. Yeah.
Mike Wright
Trade has been accepted.
Andy Holloway
You're like, everyone wants to go see.
Mike Wright
What is this? So this is last night. We all scramble. Fire it open.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Big trade.
Mike Wright
Big trade has gone through.
Andy Holloway
Jason got Josh Jacobs.
Mike Wright
And Jason responds to his own trade with white guy blinking gif.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, you're not allowed to do that.
Mike Wright
And we're like, wait, hold on.
Andy Holloway
It couldn't have surprised you.
Jason Moore
Yeah, no, it did.
Andy Holloway
You were surprised by your own trade.
Jason Moore
This was.
Mike Wright
You're like, whoa, look at this trade that I did.
Jason Moore
Yeah, well, it was one of those things where I had made this offer. It was. My co manager and I, we were in the office.
Mike Wright
You sent the offer.
Jason Moore
Yeah, but. But I send plenty of offers. Okay. And. And I don't always expect them.
Andy Holloway
I was gonna say they must be bad because not many of your trades go through.
Jason Moore
Yeah, exactly. That's the point. And so then I just saw a trade has been completed, and like I was saying, I was kind of on the bubble. Am I in going for this year? Am I not? And then it was like, oh, okay, it went through, I guess. Guess I'm in. So, yeah, I. That was me being surprised.
Mike Wright
It's like when a dog farts and is like, whoa, yes. Who did that?
Jason Moore
Yeah, that's. We were all trying to figure out who put this trade through.
Andy Holloway
Oh, my gosh. It did throw me off, because when I saw the gift, I was like, oh, it must not involve you.
Jason Moore
But the trade. For those wondering, I traded AJ Brown, who was my tradeaway candidate and my second round pick, and Travis Hunter for Josh Jacobs. My trade for candidate and Chris Olave. So it was trade. It was our league.
Mike Wright
Good trade.
Andy Holloway
Have you seen those neutral. Neutral pass rates for the Eagles over the last five weeks?
Mike Wright
Oh, they got to be.
Jason Moore
I would pull it up passing a.
Andy Holloway
Lot last week, but I'm not logged into Twitter, so you'll need to pull up Matthew Betts. Pull up Matthew Betts's tweet and read these off for a second.
Mike Wright
Look, going to FA on that. Yeah, Live.
Andy Holloway
Oh, my gosh. Yeah.
Mike Wright
Impossible.
Andy Holloway
Look, I was having computer problems. I cleared all my cookies as the worst mistake of my life. Worst mistake of my Now I can't do anything.
Jason Moore
Eagles neutral.
Andy Holloway
There you go.
Jason Moore
Pass rate by week.
Andy Holloway
Yep.
Jason Moore
36% barf. 38% barf. 59%. Okay, okay. 62%. Okay. 79%. So they were. They were.
Andy Holloway
How'd that work out for them?
Jason Moore
Well, win, win, win, win, loss is the. Is how it's worked out for their record.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. So I think things will get better for A.J. brown. No great. No question.
Jason Moore
He's.
Mike Wright
That's so difficult right now.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, he is. And I think Josh Jacobs is great moving forward, so it'll be fun. We got a jam packed show. We've got backup options. We've got NFL news, including the big trade that happened moments after we finished recording yesterday with Joe Flacco. We have Thursday night preview and we'll be talking more about them Eagles and then we're going to do a 2025 fantasy draft redo. And I think we got some outback too, right? Yes, sir.
Mike Wright
We got it all.
Andy Holloway
We'll be here all day long. Congratulations. Right now, the Dax Stack is in the lead in the Megalo Bowl. 20,000 of you playing in the Dax Stack. Crazy Joe. Those are the top two in the current Megalobol rank. Jason, did you break into the top thousand?
Jason Moore
I'm on it. Let me check. I doubt it. I think I'm still undefeated, but.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, you're just not making the.
Jason Moore
I'm just not scoring enough points. It doesn't matter right now. I'm saving it up when the playoffs come.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Oh, that's smart.
Mike Wright
Store them up.
Andy Holloway
Stash the points. All right. Well, look, congratulations. You're not in the top thousand. The Dax Dak. Crazy.
Jason Moore
Oh, I'm nine and one. I am actually 2917.
Andy Holloway
Things have really taken a turn. Moving on.
Jason Moore
Backup options presented by Progressive Insurance.
Andy Holloway
Well, the waiver wire just went through in all of our leagues and we always want you to drop it like it's hot. Pay attention to who was let go as a result of all the waiver signings. The most dropped players on sleeper in the last 24 hours. We'll play. Do you care? Do you not care? Sean Tucker?
Jason Moore
Yeah, I care.
Andy Holloway
Right now, I don't think you understand the rules of the game.
Jason Moore
I said, yeah, I care.
Andy Holloway
Okay, you're going to have to go quick. I got a big list.
Jason Moore
All right.
Andy Holloway
Justice Hill.
Mike Wright
No.
Jason Moore
No.
Andy Holloway
Chris Rodriguez.
Mike Wright
No.
Andy Holloway
Bashal Tooten.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
Yes. Oh, you do care. Mike's taking the. I took it. I got it.
Andy Holloway
All right. Xavier Scott.
Jason Moore
No.
Andy Holloway
Ollie Gordon.
Jason Moore
No.
Andy Holloway
Isaiah Davis.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
A little bit.
Andy Holloway
Burchard Smith.
Mike Wright
Deep, deep league. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Darius Slayton. Malik Washington. Jalen Tolbert.
Mike Wright
Nope.
Andy Holloway
Zach Ertz.
Mike Wright
Jason cares, but I do not.
Andy Holloway
No, I don't either. Taysom Hill.
Mike Wright
No.
Andy Holloway
And then.
Mike Wright
All right, defenses is whatever, but.
Andy Holloway
So if you did not get the pickups that you were hoping for, you didn't bid correctly or you didn't have the roster room yet, you hadn't dropped somebody, whatever. We want to give you every week some backup options, some players that you might be able to pull off the waiver wire and spot start Jason. I went with tight ends this week.
Mike Wright
I want to hear Jason's.
Andy Holloway
Well, okay, I won't share mine then.
Jason Moore
Well, since we already said Jason does, while you guys don't. Zach Ertz is a guy that is going to be clearly dropped in basically every league out there.
Mike Wright
But why?
Jason Moore
Because he had a goose egg. He went, he did nothing.
Andy Holloway
But that's why he likes him.
Jason Moore
He had a bad game, and in this game, that was the, you know, the breakthrough of Bill Crosky having his monstrous game. Jayden Daniels didn't do much in that game. It was a really weird game script. And one target to Zach Ertz. But that's obviously not what usually happens with Jaden Daniels and Zach Hertz. We have plenty of history here of those two out there together. I mean, he was the tight end eight last year with Jaden Daniels. The first two games of the season, he was the tight end nine and the tight end two, scoring double digit fantasy points both weeks. Then Jaden Daniels was injured.
Andy Holloway
Snap counts were very high then. Did you know that?
Jason Moore
Yes. 90% for one of them, 64% in the other. And so my point is, you look and it's like three bad weeks in a row, but two of those were Marcus Mariota. You shouldn't have been playing him anyways. And one bad game with Jaden Daniels doesn't mean Zach Ertz is, like, going to vanish from this offense. I think it's a mistake. I am speaking as someone who is currently trying to figure out the tight end position. Like, I didn't get any of the big, big names. I tried to bid up for Darren Waller. I got outbid. I tried to trade for Tyler Warren. I got outbid, trade offered. And so I'm, I'm still rostering Zachary right now. I picked up Meowson Taylor. I'm trying to figure it out, but I, I think it would be a mistake to just drop Zach Ertz and say, well, he's done.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, no, that's fair. And I Want to flag another tight end who played 92% of snaps who had 81 yards receiving? It's Kate Otten. So you're talking about this tight end landscape. We've seen him be fantasy relevant for multiple weeks in a row and it's just interesting. 4 for 81 is a nice line playing almost every snap. That's great. And then Godwin's really not been anything yet and so Evans is not back yet. I think Kate Otten might be worthy of a spot start. All right.
Mike Wright
And I want to talk about my guy. Cover your ears, everyone.
Andy Holloway
We did not adjust the volume. I know.
Mike Wright
It's good stuff. Isaac Tesla of the Detroit Lions. This is being brought up because right now Khalif Raymond is banged up. There is a, there's a chance that he misses. This isn't an absolute must ad, but someone you just throw on the back of a bench. And I mean Tesla has, he has showed up in all the opportunities that he has been given. Should he get to be a full time wide receiver 3 for Detroit this week, there's a chance that he really shows up and he just takes that job. And as of right now, Jameson Williams is, he's getting targets, but it's just not coming through. There is a space in fantasy football leagues for Isaac Tesla to be stashed and maybe get that role really going.
Andy Holloway
Okay, that was backup options sponsored by Progressive Insurance. Quote today@progressive.com let's talk news.
Jason Moore
News and notes from around the league presented by Progressive Insurance.
Andy Holloway
It seems like more often than not we've been very fortunate. A lot of breaking news and trades and things have happened. Like while we're recording or just before recording yesterday, right after we finished recording, we got the big news that the Bengals had acquired Joe Flacco from the Browns. And it was like, oh darn, we didn't get to react to it. I think that was good in this specific instance because the knee jerk immediate reaction was hallelujah. Jamar Chase and T. Higgins are saved.
Jason Moore
Yep. That was my initial thought. It was like, wow, because we had just talked on the show about how.
Mike Wright
I think it's like they're stuck.
Jason Moore
It's going to get worse. You've only got Brett Rippin farts behind Browning right now.
Andy Holloway
High chance for Chase after.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that you should sell him. And as soon as that news came through, they trade for Joe Flacco is like, oh man, I wish we didn't say it's all better. Sell them.
Andy Holloway
It's all better. They fixed the whole. Did they get An O line with Flacco.
Jason Moore
And that's the thing, is like, Flacco's about to die.
Mike Wright
He's going to be hit a lot.
Jason Moore
I mean, Jake Browning is. Lamar Jackson. If you're just talking about the legs compared to Joe Flacco, you're not wrong. And so then. And so is. So is Burrow. Burrow's great with pocket awareness and movement and all of that. And he just. I mean, this offensive line doesn't exist for the Bengals. You put a statue there.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. He snaps the ball and he puts his feet in two buckets of cement. That's how he gets ready to throw the football. And JJ Zacharias and had shared this, his rating under pressure according to. Pff. Joe Flaccos out of in 20, 24, 41st out of 43 qualified quarterbacks when under pressure.
Mike Wright
It's not last this year.
Andy Holloway
36 out of 38.
Mike Wright
Also not last.
Andy Holloway
But like, the reason he did not start in Cleveland, because they pulled him off the field, because he was turning the ball over and getting sacked too much and not moving the offense. So look, Jerry Judy and Isaiah Bond are not T. Higgins and Jamar Chase. He will. He will give a little bit more of a floor to those guys, in my opinion, but not to the level of potential excitement that your league mates might have. And that. That's where you have to ask yourself, are they still a sell?
Jason Moore
Yes. This is. This is good news for the Bengals offense. It is. Because we talked about. You had Brett rippin farts behind him. That's worse than Joe Flacco. This is who. Who was.
Mike Wright
Got released. Yeah, go.
Andy Holloway
All right. Yeah.
Jason Moore
Nice.
Andy Holloway
But, yeah, it was pretty.
Jason Moore
It was pretty silent. Yeah.
Mike Wright
Silent, unnoticed. No one cared.
Andy Holloway
Not deadly at all.
Jason Moore
And so this is good news. It is good news for T. Higgins, for Jamar Chase, but it is not great news. Jamar Chase is not back. Jamar Chase is not going to be a top three wide receiver with Joe Flacco with this offensive line. And so is this a trade opportunity? I think you. You just see if maybe someone is completely hyped, like, oh, my gosh, I'm willing to pay preseason Jamar Chase.
Mike Wright
You know, you're not getting that, but.
Jason Moore
People go crazy with news. I mean, last year when Amari Cooper got traded to the Buffalo Bills, it was like, oh, my gosh, he's got Josh Allen. Josh Allen's got. And someone. Someone traded him for Jamar Chase just on the hype of the news. I don't know, someone accepted a trade, but go On.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Jason Moore
Someone accepted a trade. But my point is people do wild things with hype news. And if you can get a wild thing I would be willing to do.
Andy Holloway
It'S hope and it's the chance. You think you're the sharp right. You think you're the one that's going to take advantage of this situation. It's like buying, you know, buying a stock that's really low that could go way up.
Mike Wright
And the hope for me with Flacco is Flacco is. He's just, he is a. He is a better quarterback than, than Jake Browning. So it's like the, the quick stuff. I think that Flacco will be able to identify the quick hitting passes, get it out better and faster than Jake Browning. And should they call like a double move, I think that Flacco will see it faster. So it's just, it's about processing. So I think that you get a slight bump up.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Mike Wright
Yes, you do. My tweet was literally it's something. Because they had to do something. Their, their division is somehow still not out of reach, which is absolutely absurd.
Jason Moore
Them starting to an O and the collapse of the Ravens have, you know, set them up to where you're just trying to find a way to get Joe Burrow back for the playoffs.
Mike Wright
Because also Joe Flago is playing the packers again.
Jason Moore
He beat him.
Mike Wright
He did.
Jason Moore
He beat him once.
Mike Wright
I don't think the Bengals defense will play as well as the Browns defense.
Jason Moore
You don't think so?
Mike Wright
I don't.
Jason Moore
Okay.
Mike Wright
Could be wrong.
Andy Holloway
The earliest that I'm seeing Burrow able to get back since he had surgery on September 19th is basically the week 16 game. So Burrow will not be seen again.
Jason Moore
That is so optimistic. And it would. It.
Mike Wright
I hope it happens. Like, it would be real fun if Joe Flacco is good. Also, the fact of if you get through Week 16, Joe Flacco has somehow helped carry this.
Andy Holloway
Right. Like if you did that, you can.
Mike Wright
They'll be like, see a pal. Thanks so much. Maybe it's Joe Burrow time.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, they're. Yeah. This report seems insane to me. Well, Dylan Gabriel is going to be the starter in Cleveland.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
And yeah, there's.
Mike Wright
There's follow it on the other side too.
Andy Holloway
You know, Like I thought Gabriel managed the game pretty well. He's not a special player necessarily. If this is real, I'm shocked.
Mike Wright
Wait.
Andy Holloway
Mary Kay Cabot says Brown's head coach Kevin Stefanski will wait until later in the week to decide if Shador Sanders will be the number two Right now.
Jason Moore
Shador Sanders is the number two because he's the only other quarterback on the roster. But they did sign someone to the practice.
Mike Wright
Really? Mary Kay tweeted that it's.
Andy Holloway
Is that. Can we verify that that's the real person? Because that just seems.
Mike Wright
Oh, she is a real person. But.
Andy Holloway
No, I know.
Jason Moore
That's a screenshot.
Andy Holloway
It's a screenshot. I know that she's a real person. I just. I'm a New World of AI.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that's.
Andy Holloway
And it not being a direct link to a tweet. I'm just wanting to.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, never trust a screenshot.
Andy Holloway
If you have two quarterbacks in your roster and you have to come out and say the second one might not be your two.
Jason Moore
Bailey Zappy.
Andy Holloway
I just think that's why.
Jason Moore
Zap. Zap.
Andy Holloway
Zapp. It was her.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Okay, so it's real.
Jason Moore
Okay, so Bailey Zappy's on the practice squad.
Andy Holloway
That's an unacceptably bad comment for the future of Shadow or Sanders.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
We all assume he'll get snaps this year.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I mean, when this trade happened, it was like, well, I don't think Dylan Gabriel is going to be able to do enough to where he's just locked in every week, no matter what, for the rest of the season. The Browns are winning so many games that the calls for the Shador Sanders won't come. So Shador Sanders should get starts, but he's only if he's the backup.
Andy Holloway
He said he wants to do what's best for the team and the players and that they're trying to develop Shador Sanders very intentionally.
Jason Moore
But you're going to draft a quarterback next year.
Mike Wright
Yeah, that's the issue.
Jason Moore
So find out now.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, they may develop a path out of Cleveland for him. Jalen Warren arrow pointed up for his return.
Mike Wright
I like the quote is arrow is pointed normally. Is it Arrow is pointing. You're like, hey, the arrows pointing up.
Jason Moore
Arrows pointing up.
Mike Wright
Not for Tom and Darrow is pointed up.
Jason Moore
It's already done.
Andy Holloway
I'll be honest with you. That didn't really stand out as strange to me at all.
Jason Moore
Really?
Andy Holloway
No, no, the arrows pointed up. No, that seems fine. You think it's weird?
Jason Moore
I'm with Mike.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Mike Wright
All right.
Andy Holloway
Sounds weird. I'm glad. Lamar Jackson uphill battle to play against.
Jason Moore
The Rams and they've got the bye week right afterwards. So I think we'd all be surprised if Lamar plays this week.
Andy Holloway
And if they won, I'd be very surprised if that happened, too. I think they Are four, seven and a half favorites.
Jason Moore
Last I saw, underdogs the Ravens, the Rams were favored.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Wow. Britain Strange went to IR with a quad injury for the Jags, this is.
Mike Wright
It's a bummer.
Andy Holloway
It's a bummer for Britain Strange. It does mean that Travis Hunter has a future here. They said they're going to start throwing them the ball more down the field. You need that. Right. He's capable of the big play. He had a monstrous play that changed the game. He's going to get more offensive snaps and more opportunities. With Britain Strange, he was sucking up, what, seven, eight targets a game. Naim Heinz signed to the Chargers practice squad. That situation with the running backs there, you know, maybe somebody emerges. But my biggest problem there is there's optimism about Hampton returning after just four weeks. And so I feel like you need at least a week to get clarity and there's a chance that that week gives you none. So it's just a little bit, to me, it's just a little bit of a mess because it's very short term and I don't know that you can trust. How long have we had no Echler in Washington? How many weeks? Three.
Mike Wright
Quite a while.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
I mean, so that's a good situation. That's a good example of like people benched Jaquari, Kreski, Merritt last week.
Jason Moore
Right.
Andy Holloway
Because he didn't get opportunities the two weeks before.
Mike Wright
It was in the middle of week two.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
So like, that is the kind of the template that I'm seeing right now in Los Angeles is that if you played Chris Rodriguez or you played Jacquaria Crisco Mare to hurt you for two weeks and then finally you play the wrong guy or you sit one guy down and then by the time that's done, Hampton's back. That's my worry. There is a chance there's an opportunity, but I think it's going to be on the arm of Herbert more often than not.
Jason Moore
Probably true. I think they will have to put it, put the ball in Herbert's hands. The schedule coming up, the Dolphins, Colts, Vikings and Titans are the four weeks that Hampton will for sure miss.

All right, the 4 and 1 Philadelphia Eagles, who we talked about a little bit with AJ Brown.
Jason Moore
Thursday night breakdown. You were saying, Andy?
Andy Holloway
I'd like to pretend I was setting the table for the drop. I wasn't. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you very much. Got it. Does it feel more appropriate to talk about the game now? I think it's a perfect because it probably felt pretty bad before.
Jason Moore
I was like what are you doing?
Mike Wright
Yeah, what night? What game?
Andy Holloway
What's happening? How about, how about I start over? The Eagles are four and one and they're taking on the one in four New York Giants.
Jason Moore
A palindrome.
Andy Holloway
The Philadelphia Eagles are seven point road favorites here. The over under is forty and a half. This, this game makes me really want to believe in an upset at home in New York Thursday night. Short week, banged up Saquon Eagles. You know, the offense hasn't been great. The Giants defense is pretty good. I can't get there. I'd like to, but I can't. Eagles are heavy favorites in this one, but coming off a loss, they're going to play pretty well. They haven't lost very many games over the last, what, 23, 24 matchups. Giants just looked pretty inept after the strong start against the Saints. Saints get their first win of the year against them. They turned the ball over on five consecutive possessions against the Saints in that game. It was crazy. You know, Jackson Dart is a reasonably okay fantasy player because he's running the football.
Jason Moore
But against this defense in super flex leagues, maybe because I think he's a quarterback too. I don't think you would start him. You know, I think in the right.
Andy Holloway
I think in the right matchup, you could definitely.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Not in this one.
Mike Wright
The issue for him is just turnovers. I mean, like, the. The Saints were able to do it because it's like his. His stat line. 202 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, 55. What I did. Someone hit the button for me. I don't got it.
Jason Moore
Thank you.
Mike Wright
55 rushing yards. All of those numbers turned into the quarterback. Sixteen because of turnovers. So that is an issue that. It is that I. The Eagles are going to be. Take that ball away.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Yeah. No, it's. It's very fair. And then, you know, Cam Scatter Boo, he's a.
Jason Moore
He's a must start in every matchup.
Mike Wright
What about Tyrone Tracy? They're optimistic that Tracy will play.
Jason Moore
I. I will personally be starting Cam Scatter Boo every week until I am shown that Tyrone Tracy's 50. 50 with him or Tyrone Tracy's back to the lead. I am personally assuming that Cam Scatter Boo is going to be the lead guy here, especially in the first week back for Tyrone Tracy. The opportunities, the workload that they've given him, they're using him as their dude.
Andy Holloway
You do have to look at that. It's been really inefficient for two weeks in a row. It's wild to turn 27 opportunities into 12 fantasy points, 22 opportunities into 11.4 fantasy points. But then you look at those targets. Six receptions last week. You know, Jackson darts only started for two weeks, so. Yeah, I think I'm with you. I would have. I think I would have originally tried to shy away from the Philly matchup, but those opportunity numbers are too big.
Mike Wright
One and no, Slayton could turn into even more checkdowns.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I think it's little Jordan Humphrey coming up to play.
Mike Wright
All right.
Andy Holloway
They're running out of the past catching people.
Jason Moore
And you saw, like, even the last game that Tyrone Tracy played in that. That was eight targets were still to Cam Scatter Boo. So I'm not. I'm not going away. I don't expect Cam Scatter Boo to have some monstrously awesome game and have easy touchdowns against a great Phillies defense, but when you touch the ball that many times, you should have. Double digit. Yes. Nice. It was. It was an apostrophe s. It was Phillies.
Mike Wright
The Phillies.
Jason Moore
Phillies. Good defense. Yeah. Sorry.
Andy Holloway
Theo Johnson, you say?
Mike Wright
What about Theo?
Andy Holloway
He's the one, like, beneficiary the target totals again. You like that they don't have a lot of other players.
Mike Wright
Yeah. You're still trying to find tendencies of Jackson dart and five.
Andy Holloway
I'm cool with five and seven. I mean, I'm cool with the darts.
Mike Wright
25% of targets two weeks ago, 18%.
Andy Holloway
The Eagles are very good.
Jason Moore
The Eagles are very good against tight end. So I had claims in. Just brought up my personal tight end struggles and I put claims in on Meowsa Taylor and on Theo Johnson and I put them in that order specifically partially because of the matchup this week. This is not a good matchup for Theo Johnson. The Phillies defense has been top five for a long time against tight ends. That's not a good, good exploitable matchup. And then you also look at like, you know, Theo this season. He hasn't had 35 yards in a game yet. I do like him. I would be fine picking him up and stashing him, but I don't. I'm not willing to play him against a really good Phillies baseball team.
Andy Holloway
A.J. brown, Devonte Smith, you're going to play him, right? The Giants are basically dead last against wideouts in the league. You've seen the neutral pass rate go up. They're heavy favorites. You got to play.
Jason Moore
Brown should be dominant this week. I just traded away, so I know the pain that's coming.
Andy Holloway
So you know Jalen Hurts. They're still 31st in the league in passing yards per game. Jalen hurts. You're going to play him. Saquon, you're going to play him. Dallas Goddard, he scored a touchdown in three straight games. Is he okay? I'd rather play him than Theo Johnson.
Jason Moore
Oh, for sure. Yeah. I mean, right now he's the tight end. Eight on the season and he missed week two. So he's been involved. Last week it was really touchdowns. The last three weeks has been touchdowns. That has done it for him. Week one, though, you saw him involved in the past game. Seven targets, seven receptions. So I think you could throw him in your lineup.
Andy Holloway
All right. Any other big players in this game that you're looking out for? I feel like we covered them all.
Mike Wright
No, I think you're good. Saquon. If we didn't say it, Saquon, you know, he had the estimated. Did not practice Monday. He was limited on Tuesday, so he seems good to go.
Andy Holloway
All right, we are going to move on into our draft. Redo.
Jason Moore
The fantasy footballers mock draft.
Andy Holloway
All right. We are going to go two rounds.
Jason Moore
How fun.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Fantasy draft redo. I'm not. I didn't do a whole lot of preparation for this.
Mike Wright
Well, it would be a good time to remind everyone we do have rest of season Rankings.
Jason Moore
Yeah, you can just go pull those up.
Mike Wright
Up on the.
Andy Holloway
Well, I just mean, like, thinking about it in terms of the two rounds because I kind of wanted to just see how it felt going into his.
Mike Wright
But it's like this is a bit of a, you know, rest of season type of a thing. And those rankings are available the fantasy footballers.com if you are interested.
Andy Holloway
All right, Mike, you have the first pick in our fantasy draft. Redo the first two rounds. If you were drafting today, I'm so.
Jason Moore
Happy you have the first pick.
Mike Wright
There's two guys who I think should be.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
In contention and I want to know which one you pick for the first pick.
Andy Holloway
Jason gets the second pick. Cool. I don't get either one.
Mike Wright
And for me, it's not one's a running back, one's a wide receiver. So I'm going to take the running back.
Andy Holloway
Interesting.
Mike Wright
I'm going to take Jonathan Taylor.
Andy Holloway
Oh, wow.
Mike Wright
I think that Jonathan Taylor is the number one fantasy player.
Andy Holloway
Those are not either of the two.
Jason Moore
Names that I was going to say, Jonathan Taylor.
Andy Holloway
Were they either of the two names for you?
Jason Moore
I'm going to be honest, they weren't. But I'm excited because I got Jonathan Taylor in league of record and he has been utterly dominant. Used around the goal line, used in the passing game. And also just looks like Christian McCaffrey can be in conversation for this. He's just so involved, but he hasn't looked.
Andy Holloway
He's not one of the names either.
Jason Moore
No, he wasn't. He wasn't either for me. I mean, for me, it's Bijan and Puka.
Andy Holloway
Yep, those are the two. So I'll take whoever you don't take. Well, Puka is the number one, by the way. He's the one over. Puka is the other.
Mike Wright
It's Jonathan Taylor or Puka.
Jason Moore
You will get the number one. At number three, I'm going to take Bijon Robinson. I think that the running back position is still the most important position right now. I mean, we're two years in a row here where it's like you look at your leagues and you say who's doing great? And it's the ones that are. That have these dominant running backs.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I feel like Puka's in a tier of his own and that's why I think he belongs at number one in the same way that Chase was treated this offseason. I'll take Pukunuku at number three. His. His steadiness combined with the. The big week upside, it's awesome. So Nothing wrong with any of those picks in any order. Pukinaku will be my selection at number three.
Mike Wright
Man, he is dominating.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Yeah. And I. We were talking yesterday, there were. There were a couple leagues, like our listener league, which we're doing all right in right now. But like, I took Puka at, I believe 8.
Jason Moore
At 8. Yes.
Andy Holloway
And it was ahead of Jefferson. It was ahead of Almond Ross, St. Brown and it was. And some other player that people thought I should have taken ahead of him. And the reaction to that was like, it just is an example of the draft season because there's plenty of other picks I made that were bad in every league. But in the reaction of like, this guy should be in this order. It's all stupid. Five weeks into the year.
Jason Moore
It was crazy when you took Puka over Justin Jackson.
Andy Holloway
It was crazy. Like, you know what? I'm going to pull the trigger here.
Jason Moore
Is like, when we talk about the next tier of wide receivers, it's. It is a tear down from what Puka has been doing. And Puka hasn't even been doing it with touchdowns. But like, I love Almond RA I love jsn. I love Jefferson, and I don't know how high Abuka goes. I don't know how high CD Lamb should. You know, if he's only missing one more game, maybe he's the wide receiver one after that, I don't know. We'll find out. But all of those guys do not feel like in the same class as what Puka is doing week in, week out right now.
Andy Holloway
Back to you, Mike.
Mike Wright
I will take Christian McCaffrey.
Andy Holloway
Christian McCaffrey, who at number four is.
Mike Wright
The running back two. And has zero rushing touchdowns. Imagine a world where Christian McCaffrey is doing this but occasionally scoring a rushing touchdown here or there.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. That would just be like the other years that he was the best.
Mike Wright
Yeah. The run block. I don't know if the run blocking ever actually improves for the 49ers this year, but the volume will be there. And receiving touchdowns, he has three of them. And the targets are just. He's averaging over 10 targets a game that like, you give that to your wide receiver one on your team and you're very, very happy.
Jason Moore
It's ridonkulous. It's absolutely.
Mike Wright
It is. It is truly ridiculous.
Andy Holloway
And it doesn't seem sustainable, but it might be. It just might be.
Mike Wright
It's sustainable till it's not.
Jason Moore
All right, so am I back on the clock?
Andy Holloway
You are.
Jason Moore
I'm between two players.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I've got the one I want to.
Jason Moore
Fall to me, but you got the one you want. I'll just say the two players since this isn't, you know, we're not building rosters here.
Andy Holloway
No.
Jason Moore
I am personally between Amon Ross St. Brown who has just been after week one's just a machine. Yeah. To me he's the second largest player.
Mike Wright
He's running very hot with touchdowns.
Jason Moore
He is. But he also is used around the goal line so much and the lines are around the goal line so much. So it's a nice combination. And Josh Jacobs. Josh Jacobs. One of the things you know that you do keep in mind when you're making rest of season rankings when you're looking at trades. Andy brought this up yesterday is he's passes by now. So you know almost every other player has a, has a game missing. And so if I'm looking at the value of those, he is the running back. I would take. I'm. I, when I, when I, when I lay that both cases out, there are running backs that are closer to Josh Jacobs to me than there are wide receivers closer to Amon Ross. So I'm going to go almond raw.
Mike Wright
All right.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I'll go back to back Lions. It won't be Jacobs for me, it'll be Jameer Gibbs. I will take Jameer Gibbs. I think Jacobs is, is in the running there but I know what I have in Gibbs. I also know that there's an like I think Gibbs with Montgomery in the backfield is a slightly better play than Jacob's rest of the season. And what if Montgomery so to me like Gibbs on that roster the way, the way that they're cooking, I think Gibbs is the pick for me.
Jason Moore
Those two running backs have a built in nuclear option which is so cool to have them and just know if either one of those. Yeah, David Montgomery and Gibbs obviously Gibbs far more so.
Andy Holloway
I like to visualize that if like somebody gets hurt, they walk over to the other guy and give them this vial full of their power and then they load that power into themselves and accumulate double the stats.
Jason Moore
I mean if, if David Montgomery went down, Gibbs is the running back one, he would be the running back one from that point forward. But if Gibbs went down, how high? I think Montgomery could be the running back one or I think it could.
Mike Wright
Be top top ten.
Jason Moore
Oh, he would definitely be top ten.
Mike Wright
Top ten.
Andy Holloway
I'll give you top eight.
Jason Moore
I will take top.
Andy Holloway
I mean he has had, he's had. I mean he did have a lot of career without Jameer Gibbs.
Jason Moore
Not on the lines Though.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, he didn't have any without Gibbs on the lines. I thought he had one year without him.
Jason Moore
No, I don't think so.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Mike Wright
All right. Am I back up?
Andy Holloway
You are back up, Mike.
Mike Wright
All right.
Andy Holloway
Pick seven.
Mike Wright
Somehow it feels disappointing. And I'm taking Saquon Barkley. He's. That's where he is in my rest of season rankings, just behind Jameer Gibbs. It's been disappointing. The huge runs have not been there.
Andy Holloway
Perhaps.
Mike Wright
Perhaps the. The data nerds are correct. Of it was just too much of a workload last year for Saquon Barkley, but he is still, for the most part really coming through and I think that things can improve for him and the Eagles are stable like the other guys have. There's going to be some question marks on the team and the offense. The Eagles are going to be in it for the long run. So I will take Barkley.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I don't mind it. It makes this pick obviously easy for me since last time I was up, I was between Amon Ra and Josh Jacobs. I would, you know, Jacobs and Gibbs, I think that is really, really, really close. Jacobson Barkley is close as well.
Mike Wright
But I have two other guys I would. Two other running backs I would take before.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean, I'm obviously hot and bothered from. For Jacobs.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
Which is why I went out and traded for him and hopefully it comes to fruition. But I'll take Jacobs here.
Andy Holloway
All right. Josh Jacobs goes with the eighth pick. So we've had three straight running backs. Gibbs, Barkley, Jacobs. I think there will be a fourth straight running back. I'm just trying to think through the wide receivers. No, I actually will pivot. I will pivot. I obviously think Jefferson is worthy of the pick here, but I'm actually going to go Jackson, Smith and Jake.
Mike Wright
Yeah, he's one spot higher for me.
Andy Holloway
I'm going to take jsn. He is currently, I think, fifth in points per game at the wide receiver position. There, you know, a book is ahead of him. A dunes is ahead of him right now. But obviously you're not just looking at what they've done so far. Jefferson, I think, is going to get cooking as he always does. It was. It was between those two at wide receiver for me, actually. So I will go with Jackson Smith and Jigba and put some respect on the name of the player that has truly been dominant.
Mike Wright
Yeah. And I will follow it up with Justin Jefferson.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Who? He does. He has the variable. He has the JJ McCarthy variable. Not that things go to absolute to Poo poo town. Should McCarthy come back and be the starter? Week one, when everything was awful for the Minnesota Vikings and McCarthy looked terrible. 44 and a score, like I said, not the worst possible thing. But then with Carson wentz these past two weeks, 126, 123 yards, and his.
Andy Holloway
Worst game this year is 3 for 81 with McCarthy, and that was still not that bad.
Mike Wright
And I believe that McCarthy, should he come back and get the job, will improve over the course of the season. Jefferson is just. He is that good.
Jason Moore
I was looking forward to drafting Jefferson here if you didn't.
Andy Holloway
So one of the reasons why that team is good and the head coach is good and the quarterbacks have success is because they target the best players relentlessly, all the time, strategically. Unlike the Cardinals, who. I think. I think.
Mike Wright
I think they do target their best players.
Andy Holloway
Marvin Harrison had 78 receiving yards on the first two drives of that game, and I think wasn't targeted on the final 30 something plays. It's just.
Mike Wright
Oh, and just so ridiculous. Public PSA here.
Andy Holloway
Yes, for public psa.
Mike Wright
For news outlets out there. When you're breaking something that says. And it comes through on my phone. So we got small and it says Jonathan Gannon being fined.
Andy Holloway
It's too close to fired.
Mike Wright
Way too close.
Jason Moore
We read this, we had to use.
Mike Wright
A different word because I was like.
Jason Moore
Oh, my gosh, he got fired.
Mike Wright
Like, we did it.
Jason Moore
The Arizona Cardinals have fired Johnny.
Mike Wright
You're like, oh, we took $100,000 from it.
Jason Moore
You need to remove his.
Andy Holloway
It wasn't all the money. Remove all the money. Get it. Be the firing.
Mike Wright
Yes. Well, it doesn't. No, it doesn't remove it because it still gets it all.
Andy Holloway
You know what's interesting is that it wasn't the NFL, Right. I actually thought the fine was from the NFL. It was the Cardinals.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
It's just interesting.
Mike Wright
They.
Jason Moore
They were like, ooh, I can save some money now.
Mike Wright
What if.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Oh, that is. That is not surprising.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Now that, like, why didn't you hit him twice?
Mike Wright
Now that you bring it up, the bid Wells being able to reclaim $100,000. Oh, man, that.
Jason Moore
Oh, they're so happy about that.
Andy Holloway
All right, all right, Jason, you're back on the clock at 11. Jefferson just went off the board.
Jason Moore
This one is interesting. This is my last pick of the first round here of the top 12 picks. I've been looking at the different running backs who I would take here. There are still some. Some. Some great players. James Cook has been on fire. Devon Hn has been very consistent, but doesn't his ceiling hasn't been there. At wide receiver, you got Nico Egbuka. I don't know how high he'll go. Drake London has been involved. You know, there's all these guys. But I. When push comes to shove, I was really thinking about this because I have this player and I was like, would I trade him right now, straight up for those names I just said. And I would not. And it's CD Lamb. Okay, CD Lamb. I'm going to miss a game that sucks.
Mike Wright
You know, why did you miss too?
Jason Moore
Because a lot of so much for.
Andy Holloway
Getting past the buy.
Jason Moore
Well, everyone. Most all players we're drafting still have a bye week, so I'm just missing an additional game this week, and that's presumed. He could. Every man buys every man. But yeah, you know, when. When we look at what Dak has been doing and you look at league winners, guys who can go fire, guys who can really go ham and score 30 points. You know, the first two weeks he was a top 12 wide receiver without touchdowns, over 110 yards both weeks. Then gets injured. And so since that time, Dax been great. Pickens has been great. I think CD will be awesome. And thank goodness the Dallas Cowboys defense is as bad as it is. It is so nice.
Andy Holloway
All right, I. Lamb was on the board. Probably not next for me, but I'll go with Devon Hn. I think Achan, I'm going to take over Cook. I think the baseline is better for him. The receiving work. We've only had one game without Tyreek Hill. He was very good in that one. He'll be very good for a long time. And he plays the wide receiver position. I mean, he. He really does. He went up and had a full wide receiver esque meet him at the top. Catch it over two guys.
Jason Moore
Dude, in the end zone, that pass. I saw a tweet. I apologize. I can't. I don't remember who had it, but it was such a great tweet. Said, don't let the incredible pass by Tua or the incredible, incredible catch by Achan distract you from the fact that on like a third and eight from the goal line, they drew up a running back fade in the back of the end zone, which was a really bad design. But the play was awesome. But it was like, really? That's the best. You got a fade to your tiny running back.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Yeah, they should, you know. Yeah. Devon HN, number 12, rounds out our first round. Taylor Robinson, Nakua CMC, Amon Ra Gibbs Barkley, Jacobs, JSN Jefferson, Lamb and Achan.
Jason Moore
Let's see how that compares to the ADP of how it was a while ago. You want to see?
Mike Wright
It's not bad.
Jason Moore
Jamar Chase was the one on one. Obviously he's gone.
Andy Holloway
I thought you were going to give us where these guys went.
Jason Moore
We can look at that. Bijan went next, Barkley, Gibbs. So those guys are about the same. Justin Jefferson, CD Lamb, Christian McCaffrey, Derek.
Andy Holloway
Six straight that are in the same 12.
Jason Moore
So Derek Henry is a faller.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Almond Ross, St. Brown is in there. Ashton Genti.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
So Genti and Henry are fallers. Neighbors is injured and Puka was the last one.
Andy Holloway
It's funny because Genti is not. I mean, he's getting drafted in this next round.
Jason Moore
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Andy Holloway
He's not far off the involvement in the receiving game now and the step up for him. Mike, you're back on the clock. First pick of the second round, it's James Cook. Yeah, it is.
Mike Wright
I would take both HN and James Cook over Josh Jacobs personally. Jacobs or I'm sorry, James Cook. It's obviously it's not perfect because he can still have some dud games, but he is. He looks so incredible. He did not take the bag and decide that he would just ride off into the sunset with all his money. He took it seriously.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I think James Cook was probably the next man up on my list as well. Last three picks. Lamb, Achan, James Cook. We'll take a break. We'll finish it out.
Mike Wright

Andy Holloway
Mr. Moore, Jason, you are on the clock, man.
Jason Moore
Every running back left. There's a lot of good running backs that all have big question marks for me. I don't know how high to take them, so I'm going to take the stud wide receivers that are left. There's there. It's worth noting Trey McBride still available. All the. All the tight ends have not been taken yet. But I'm going to take Nico Collins here. He's still A stud. He's getting it done. He has been disappointing for sure as the Texans offense has been disappointing. But he is an awesome fantasy asset.
Andy Holloway
If I was in the draft, the truth is is I would take a Mecca Buka above Nico Collins.
Jason Moore
That was the, that was where I'm looking. Between Nico and Abuka and Drake, London, those three teams.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, no, it's fair. And Nico has been I think a little bit quietly consistent because the offense had been struggling. But now it's two weeks in a row they've been looking better. I will take a mecca Buca at 15. Which is it? Yeah, that's just a wild moment of reflection.
Mike Wright
It's not saying it's wrong, it's just.
Andy Holloway
That'S wild and just on a personal level, I think he's my favorite player in the game of football.
Jason Moore
He's so good.
Andy Holloway
I love, like I said it yesterday, I love the Buccaneers so much. I love Baker, I love Abuka, I love Bucky, I love Evans. I love that team. I love Todd Bowles. He was an Arizona guy. We are going to. That is going to move into second place.
Jason Moore
Final ADP. Final ADP picks 84, 85 and 86. In the eighth round was rookie wide receiver, rookie wide receiver Mecca Buka and Matthew golden. Back to back after Travis ETN. So these 84, 85, 86 you're saying. Yeah. Eighth round pick a Mecca Igbuka is now a top 15 selection.
Andy Holloway
We were looking in our listener league where you and I were four or five picks apart in the fifth or sixth round. I took a Buca.
Jason Moore
I was so angry when you took him because that's, that was my mind.
Andy Holloway
You ended up with golden five picks later. And the feeling between those two right.
Jason Moore
Now, the gap is like one is.
Mike Wright
A superstar, one's a second round pick and one's on the waiver wire.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. So Mike, you're back on the clock. Pick 16. Abu is off the off the board. It gets a little harder now.
Mike Wright
It definitely gets a bit harder. So I will. That running back, four points per game. When will he be drafted?
Jason Moore
Yeah, I know. I keep looking at his name and.
Andy Holloway
I'm like not yet.
Jason Moore
Is someone going to do it?
Mike Wright
Yeah, I'm going to. I don't have the snow so I'll just take Kyron Williams, please.
Andy Holloway
Kyron. So he's talking, he's alluding to Javante Williams, the name he who should not be named. But it is, it's a conversation at some point.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
It's funny because I think but I.
Andy Holloway
Think Derek Henry on the board versus Javante. That'd be a really hard pick.
Jason Moore
It would Derek Henry, Breeze Hall, Bucky Irving, who I know he's injured, but he was awesome. It's like, would you really take Javante Williams over those guys in a startup? Like, is the rug going to get pulled?
Mike Wright
I don't think.
Jason Moore
It doesn't feel like it, man. It really doesn't. I'm not taking any of them though.
Andy Holloway
We did, we did just get real quick news. Tyrone Tracy, no injury designation. Good to go for Thursday.
Jason Moore
Cool.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Jason Moore
I will go back to the wide receiver position and take Drake London. I saw Nico Ibuka and Drake London kind of in that same tier.
Mike Wright
Interesting. You'll go. All right.
Jason Moore
You would. I mean you're a. Garrett Wilson. Is that who you're saying that is?
Andy Holloway
It was a slow nod of approval by Mike.
Mike Wright
Yes, yes. I'm glad you got the name right away.
Jason Moore
Look, I was you. Yeah, I wouldn't have thought.
Andy Holloway
I'm going to take Josh Allen. I'm taking Josh Allen at 18. The number one every year, practically at the position is the number one again. I mean, Josh Allen, what, What? He and Lamar, who's hurt. I mean Lamar would have been in the discussion at some point. A quarterback is going to go here. The differential to my team is significant with Josh Allen in the mid to late second round. And when you have that player on the team, they can win you the week. I mean Josh Allen can win you a week anytime. He does it frequently. I think that's where the line is drawn like because the next, the next big names up there is Derek Henry, who's been a little disappointing. Don't know what's wrong with Lamar Jackson, Ashton Genty. Okay, Judkins, so a couple of rookies or the guaranteed commodity of Josh Allen. To me that was the time.
Jason Moore
I think that the right place to take the known commodities at quarterback is when everyone else now has a big question mark.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
And that's, you know, we're right around there. Is Javante real? Is Derek Henry falling off? You know those type of questions. So. Yeah, I don't, I don't blame you taking a QB here.
Andy Holloway
All right, Mike, you're next up here. We've got a handful of picks left. I think you got two more. We all got two more picks left.
Mike Wright
I will just make sure that this man gets the respect that I think he deserves. So I will take Garrett Wilson right here.
Andy Holloway
It might not be pretty.
Jason Moore
No, no.
Andy Holloway
You might not want to watch it.
Mike Wright
Fourth quarter magic with Justin Fields. Garrett Wilson's great player. He just, he needs to be on when Fields has his like every other like terrible play. Good play. We just need the good play to go to Garrett. Man. There is though. There's another wide receiver that I. There's a handful that I almost took over. Garrett. I just can't do it.
Jason Moore
Quentin Johnson. No, no, no, no, no. I know.
Mike Wright
Not that far.
Jason Moore
I. I think I know who you would be taking and it might be my pick here. All right. I'm just looking. Would I really take him over these running backs? That is tough. No, I wouldn't. I think I'm going to end up going with some of these questionable running backs. And while I do think Derek Henry is still good this season, I'm actually going to go Breece Hall, I think with the.
Mike Wright
That's fine by me.
Jason Moore
With the injury to Braylon Allen back to back Jets Breeze hall has looked really good.
Andy Holloway
I'm taking Justin Field. No, I'm not. Yeah. Breeze isn't a strange name because it's a lot. It's a lot more exciting to take Genty or Judkins or Henry. But Breeze has been really effective and very good and involved in the passing game. I don't mind it. I think for me the pick is actually quench on Judkins.
Mike Wright
I am fine with that.
Andy Holloway
I think I'm going to take Judkins here. Yes. Javante's out there. Bucky with the injury. I'd love to take Bucky there. I don't know how long he's going to really be out.
Jason Moore
Only four more picks. I mean, so many of these guys are not making it in the top 12.
Mike Wright
No, they will not.
Andy Holloway
Judkins has been a top 12 running back in the three weeks he's played any snaps.
Mike Wright
The Judkins situation is amazing. So insane of everything that happened.
Andy Holloway
Like you thought maybe he didn't play in the NFL.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Of how the pick was perfect for the Cleveland Browns in terms of the. The player that they needed. The archetype. He was going late, going in the middle of redraft, which felt awesome. And then his whole off the field da allegations and it's like. And those are. They're gone now and there's no more chatter at all about suspension.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I know. It's like I haven't heard anything of the NFL coming.
Mike Wright
The NFL does not let even. Even what happened over. Okay. It went away. The NFL doesn't let those things slide.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I mean, maybe that. I mean to give. To be fair to the situation, you'd have to say that if things didn't happen or things got sold out, like, I mean, if you. Like you said, if the league doesn't let it slide and the lead isn't addressing it, then maybe something different happened that we don't understand or know and you just have to accept it. But it is. It is a crazy change from where we were. Three picks left, Mike. Your final selection.
Mike Wright
I'm going to do it. I'm taking Javante.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Mike Wright
Just. Just let his points wash over you.
Andy Holloway
The Dallas offense, second round picks a Mecca. Buca Javante Williams, baby.
Mike Wright
What are you going to do, man? What do you. This far in. I feel like you have to do it. I feel like you, you. You need to buy into what Javante's doing.
Andy Holloway
Javante in the second round. And then this guy went in the second round. And you got to give credit to this rookie sensation, wide receiver out of Ohio State, Emeka Egbegboo.
Jason Moore
Egg Bag Boo.
Andy Holloway
I need the cut of just the name too. I need to be able to hit that anytime I want.
Mike Wright
Now, they all have earpieces in, right?
Andy Holloway
What was the John Travolta when he.
Jason Moore
Was saying Adele de Zeem.
Andy Holloway
Yes. Amika Abegboo.
Mike Wright
They all have the earpiece in, right? You as a producer of that show.
Andy Holloway
It's a book. You know that.
Mike Wright
It's Gronk.
Andy Holloway
It's a buka, man.
Mike Wright
You need to tell them. Hey, pause right before you say it. We will say it in your ear.
Andy Holloway
Maybe they did. And then repeat yourself.
Mike Wright
Maybe they did and that's still what we got.
Andy Holloway
That was.
Mike Wright
That was incredible.
Andy Holloway
Just too funny.
Mike Wright
Goodness, Grace. Could not have slaughtered it.
Andy Holloway
Could not have slaughtered it. Yeah, let's. And you got to give credit to this rookie sensation, wide receiver out of Ohio State, Emika Egbegboo.
Jason Moore
I could listen to that 100.
Andy Holloway
I really could. All right, we have Jason.
Mike Wright
Not even remotely close.
Andy Holloway
All right, I've got four names. Jason, I'm curious, I'm curious if these four are on your list of six.
Jason Moore
Let me hear them.
Andy Holloway
Derek Henry.
Jason Moore
Derek Henry is one of. I've got three running back.
Andy Holloway
Roma Dunes.
Jason Moore
Rome is on my list.
Mike Wright
Rome was the name.
Jason Moore
That's what I.
Mike Wright
That I struggled.
Andy Holloway
Quentin Johnson.
Jason Moore
Quinn Johnson is not on.
Andy Holloway
Jamar Chase.
Jason Moore
Jamar Chase is on there. So my list, my three running backs are Derek Henry, Ashton Genty and Travis Etn.
Andy Holloway
Not Bucky Irving?
Jason Moore
I guess not. I mean, Bucky is in that group for sure, but being injured, it's hard to take him Jamar Chase, Roma Dunes and Devonte Adams, who's just getting it done, as you know. And I think he will continue to. It's really tough. If I was going to really take one of those picks right here, right now, I would.
Andy Holloway
You should probably go with.
Jason Moore
It doesn't. It doesn't get. It doesn't get familiar. It's not like, oh, I've heard this.
Andy Holloway
No. At 12, it was H.N. cook was 13. Nico was 14. At 15, we went and you got to give. Oh, crap, Wrong one. Mika a big boo. And then it was Kyron London, Allen Wilson, Breeze Hall, Judkins and Javante.
Jason Moore
All right, I'm going to take the fun pick. I'm going to take Ash and Genty.
Andy Holloway
Okay. I don't think that's wrong at all. I mean, that's a. That's a good pick. I'll put Derek Henry in it with the final spot of the second round and try to keep the context of. I mean, Saquon went higher in this draft than I thought, and that was part of keeping the context that we're five weeks in. We know what the power of those two players was over the last.
Mike Wright
Henry freaks me out more because Henry like Saquon. Like I said, Eagles stable, Ravens, big, big trouble. And for. They just. Whatever offensive stuff they are, they're doing. They just. Whenever they go to pass mode, they feel like we got to put Justice Hill on the field, which, yeah, I understand. You got to utilize his skill set, but there are so many times on third and short and Justice Hill is out there and I think it is just such a travesty stupid in ours.
Jason Moore
No Bucky, no Jamar Chase, no Devonte Adams, no Roma Dunes, A. No ETN and no tight ends and no Huge.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, it's no tight ends, though. Is a. It's a tough one. All right, we are going to jump into the mailbag.
Jason Moore
Mailbag. Presented by NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV.
Andy Holloway
If you got a question for the show, you can go to the website thefantasyfootballers.com click that submit a question button or you can dial our voicemail hotline. That number is 302-464-TFFB. First question from Georgian Kansas City. Would you trade Darren Waller and Emika Egg Big Boo for Puka Nakua?
Mike Wright
Oh. Oh.
Andy Holloway
So this is great.
Jason Moore
Yeah, this is great.
Andy Holloway
This is great because I. They already have Tray McBride then.
Mike Wright
Yeah. So absolutely.
Andy Holloway
I literally on the drive into work today as a manager of Emika Egg Big Boo as a manager, he's Going.
Mike Wright
To start screwing us.
Andy Holloway
I thought, you know, I could go maybe. Like, what if I could get puka in a trade where I give egg, buka and more for puka?
Mike Wright
Yeah, you can go.
Andy Holloway
Don't you have Waller And I do have Waller. Yeah, but I did. I actually just was like, I like a buka too much. Yeah, but you should do the trade.
Jason Moore
Yeah, no, it's a. It's a great trade. And I don't think we've brought up Darren Waller enough.
Andy Holloway
Number one in points per game at tight end.
Mike Wright
He is.
Jason Moore
So I went back for the Dynasty show that came out today. If you are in Dynasty, listen to the fancy footballers Dynasty podcast. I did a film review of the Dolphins minus Tyree Kill. I just watched every snap over again yesterday to just see how did the offense look. And my big takeaway was just like, holy crap, Darren Waller looks amazing. Yeah, he looks like their best weapon. Like the passes to Darren Waller were. Those were their best plays. He looked so fast, big, strong. He was only on the field, you know, half. Half the snaps. And they're going to keep working him in more and more and more. I mean, what did the snap count get up to? I think it was like 50.
Andy Holloway
I was guessing it'd be in the 45 range. Was it higher than that?
Jason Moore
Yeah, I think it was 50 to. I think it was in the 50s.
Andy Holloway
Oh, baby, let's go.
Jason Moore
So his first week was 28%. This last week was 58%. Five for 78 used downfield, used on those seam routes. Like, I mean, we, you know this with John who Smith.
Andy Holloway
You know that he's telling the truth. Jason is. Because he would love to get Darren Waller for me in our league of record. And he's not pretending like the tape was bad.
Jason Moore
Yeah, yeah.
Andy Holloway
I mean, he's telling the truth. And I think, you know, you're not going to like this either, but I think this is the cheaper time you can get Darren Wallach.
Jason Moore
I agree with that.
Andy Holloway
I think he's going to get more.
Jason Moore
Expensive if he, you know, over the next month, if he has three good.
Mike Wright
Games heating up, as they say.
Jason Moore
Yeah, if he has three good games over the next month, then all of a sudden at that point you're going to be looking at him like, who would you, you know, who's. Who's the best tight end right now? Like, literally, who. Who was?
Andy Holloway
I mean, I would. You want number one? I would say Trey McBride. It's been a little disappointing.
Jason Moore
Yeah, Trey McBride's been a little disappointed.
Andy Holloway
Certainly not going to be Kincaid rest of season or Goddard rest of season.
Jason Moore
It could be Tyler Wal. It could be. Honestly, it's George Kittle. Like when George Kittle comes back. Yeah, he's going to die.
Andy Holloway
What's wild is Warren's been good, but it's not insane.
Jason Moore
But no Titan has been insane.
Andy Holloway
Like the points scored by Waller in the last two games both outscore any Warren game.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Yeah. I mean Waller is in that conversation. Like when I look at who's the best tight ends to have rest of season, he's. He's there. And that's. That sucks for me to say.
Mike Wright
We all. We need that program. The ramp that he was on.
Jason Moore
Oh, dude.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Goo goo.
Andy Holloway
Thought we would never play that drop again. He may. He may legitimately have a shot at being the best tight end in football for the rest of the season.
Mike Wright
That's fun.
Andy Holloway
Not saying that's guaranteed. McBride should be in the mix. Someone asked Sam in New York asked, would you trade Tyler Warren for Trey McBride straight up? I would do that.
Jason Moore
I would as well.
Andy Holloway
I would rather have McBride.
Jason Moore
I would too.
Andy Holloway
I think it will be. Now. We did just get news. Kyler Murray in the foot injury, not practicing well, thankfully.
Jason Moore
Thankfully Jacoby Brissette is a capable backup that can get the ball to these players. He's. I don't feel like that is in the. Maybe in terms of the Arizona Cardinals offense because he doesn't have the mobility Kyler has. But as far as the pocket passing, I don't think it's a major step down for the receiving options of McBride or Marv.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Okay, moving on. Next question comes in. Oh, we have a voicemail. Let's go to that one.
Jason Moore
Hey ballers, Waddle owner from Toronto here. Just wondering what you think of him.
Andy Holloway
What do we think our long term.
Jason Moore
Outlook on Waddle is? Should we sell high while he's still healthy or you think he lost the season? Who are you looking for? Tat. Maybe. I mean, what do you think?
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I mean.
Mike Wright
Bonjour.
Andy Holloway
Bonjour. Yeah, I think. I think Waddle's going to be great. So.
Mike Wright
Yeah. The question is, how are we feeling? Temperature check here on Jalen Waddle. Who. Even those first few weeks where Tyreek was playing, he was getting it done. And then that was the first week, full week without Tyreek, Right?
Jason Moore
Yes.
Mike Wright
Which he's always been six for one. 10.
Andy Holloway
He's been really good in those situations.
Mike Wright
And a touchdown. He. He is an awesome, awesome player. Who. His. His issue has never been skill. It is just his body doesn't love.
Andy Holloway
Did you see him again this week?
Mike Wright
Did it happen again on the first play? I didn't miss that one.
Andy Holloway
Al and I were watching it and nothing happened to Waddle. Nothing happened whatsoever.
Jason Moore
I didn't. Nothing, nothing. He wasn't even. I don't even think he was tackled.
Andy Holloway
He was down in agony.
Jason Moore
When I was re. Watching the Dolphins film it, it literally like the pro NFL recap. I didn't even know they did this, but it was like, you know, pass complete left to Jalen Waddle, exits with injury. It was like, oh, good.
Mike Wright
So, yeah, yeah, we all like Waddle, but. So waddle or Tet McMillan, which side do you prefer?
Jason Moore
So I've got 100 degree low grade fever on Jalen Waddle. I think he's necessary to this offense. I really like him. I'm like 104 for Tet.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Like, I think Tet is going to help people win championships at the end of the year.
Andy Holloway
I still need to be convinced. I would love to be on that team. I. It's one of those things where it's like the peripheral of the Carolina Panthers offense and the.
Jason Moore
Yeah, Bryce.
Andy Holloway
And Bryce and the fact that he can be. He can make a good pass. He could get the stink dunked for two sacks.
Jason Moore
The stink of Bryce is why tat is what he is right now. But I mean, this is.
Andy Holloway
A rookie's coming back.
Jason Moore
I mean, this is a rookie who threw his first five games, is on pace for 1200 yards in his rookie season.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I mean, and that's good.
Jason Moore
That's good, that's good. But it's also like Bryce is. Bryce is keeping tets price down. But Bryce has supported. Remember, you know Adam Thielen. Old man Adam Thielen.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Bryce got it done with him. The touchdowns haven't been there. And it's not like he's better with no touchdowns.
Andy Holloway
It was better with Dalton. Dalton got Deontay Johnson and Thielen cooking. It's just. It's a little hard for me to be all the way there. Is all I'm saying.
Mike Wright
I understand.
Andy Holloway
You're talking about like rest of season total yardage. I would put a bet on Waddle over Tet on total yardage. On total yard. I mean, because you brought up the.
Jason Moore
Yeah, no, no, no.
Andy Holloway
You brought up the yard projection. I'm just saying, like more touchdowns. I think Waddle probably scores more touchdowns.
Mike Wright
I would.
Jason Moore
I think Waddle probably has more touchdowns. Tet has more yardage. That's how I would see it.
Andy Holloway
It's it's. Yeah, it's going to be. It's a pretty close one. If you're in any league with a keeper league or a dynasty league and that trade is on the table, I would definitely be on the tet side of that. I think rest of the season this year it's a little bit tougher for me. But I get it. I get buying in.
Mike Wright
That's no touches. I mean, Tyreek should be gone.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Like next year. I think it will.
Andy Holloway
Well, number one is their head coach and the quarterback and.
Mike Wright
Yeah, that's true. It'll be a. They'll probably clean the house.
Andy Holloway
So we'll see. There are. I don't know. Sometimes the team still looks okay this year to me, like Miami. I'll give if this is credit. I don't know if it is or not. I guess I would have thought that the team would have quit by now and I don't. I don't see the team quitting. I think the team has been okay. They've had stretches, they've had victories that, you know, what are they right now? Are they 2 and 3 or are they 1 and 4?
Mike Wright
I would have to go check Dolphins standings. Dolphins are one and four.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Mike Wright
I'll tell you what, I'm going to put this out in the universe. Should Mr. McDaniel lose his current occupation, Arizona will take you as an offensive offensive coordinator.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
And honestly, instantaneously.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
If you, while you're walking out of the office, we will send a car to pick you up and you can come. I will do it.
Jason Moore
Yeah, we will. Dude.
Andy Holloway
I will. I'll fly. You know what, I'll take Blobfish to the airport too. It's like I will take Drew Patsing to the airport on my side and you can bring Mike McDaniel next year.
Mike Wright
Next year McDaniel will go to a team and he will be an OC And I will be very interested in that team's offense.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, there are. It's wild because I think the worst coach by a long shot right now in the NFL is Aaron Glenn in New York. Unfortunately he's a defensive minded head coach that went there, made their defense worse and their offense worse and their team undisciplined. Like, you just have to look at what's happening. He's another one of those guys. I'm like, is he just a coordinator? Like, is he just like a dominant defensive coordinator but can't do the whole thing? I don't know.
Mike Wright
Right. Gets overwhelmed when it's everything like I.
Andy Holloway
Think we are learning. And Jason and I, we brought this up with Detroit. Like, the play calling in Detroit is great. There's no Ben Johnson. There's. There's trick plays. There's smart plays. There's great play calling. I think that you're at the point now in Detroit, which we never thought we'd be at five, 10 years ago, where the structure and the environment and the head coach and the organization and the general manager, it is building. Like, Aaron Glenn was there. Right. Aaron Glenn leaves. He doesn't look like a good coach. You just wonder how much of the structure is really supporting these coaches. And that's a credit. That's a credit to the best head coaches in football. This was Bill Belichick's whole universe and Andy Reid's whole universe.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it's Reed. I mean, you have guys leave and it doesn't work.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, the Shanahan tree and all of those guys. Like, sometimes it works out. Sometimes they're kind of shown to be like, hey, you don't have all of the. It's like the trellis for the vine. The trellis isn't there for these guys. And, yeah, Mike McDaniel, maybe a better OC. Aaron Glenn, maybe better a DC I don't know. But we'll find out. We'll find out next year if he's got a job next year. One more Nick from Gulf Breeze, Florida. Okay. That's a cool sounding place.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Andy Holloway
Nico Collins and Tony Pollard for Josh Jacobs. Would you do that? I need a solid running back. I would. I would do that.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I would definitely do that.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I think that's fine. Tony Pollard is. The arrow is as.
Andy Holloway
How would you say?
Mike Wright
Pointed down.
Andy Holloway
That does not seem weird to me.
Jason Moore
I'm implicit.
Andy Holloway
It can't just be pointed down. It doesn't have to be pointing down.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I think it can be pointed down. It can be pointed down. That doesn't sound that bad.
Andy Holloway
Who's okay with pointed over there instead of pointing?
Mike Wright
So we've got the child over in.
Jason Moore
The corner is good that Jalen Warren is looked up.
Andy Holloway
Things are really looked up for him right now.
Jason Moore
See, that one sounds way.
Andy Holloway
Now that. I mean, I don't know if that's a fair example or not.
Mike Wright
I don't either, but it's funny.
Andy Holloway
So you're saying if an arrow is on the wall and it's facing downward, you can only say it's pointing downward. You can't say it's pointed down because.
Mike Wright
If that, it almost means, like, it's no longer doing that.
Jason Moore
Yeah, it pointed down past tense.
Andy Holloway
Oh, you think it because pointed.
Mike Wright
It exactly.
Andy Holloway
Doesn't bother me.
Mike Wright
Oh man.
Andy Holloway
When you now the looked one is hilarious. Yeah.
Jason Moore
When you gave that example of the big boo.
Andy Holloway
I think I almost got my gun.
Mike Wright
Almost got me.
Jason Moore
I need that on my board.
Andy Holloway
I don't think you do a big boo. That's all you'd hit it 65 times.
Jason Moore
