Well, any other fantasy takeaways from last night's gaming? Cam Newton lit it on fire.

[Mike Wright]

Panthers are absolutely dominant. That was as close to 2015 Cam Newton as we have seen all season. Projecting forward. I'm not jumping on saying this is what we should expect. I think this is a product of Cam having a good game. Also the Miami Dolphins are really, really bad.

[Jason Moore]

It. They're going to be fighting with the Saints for this division.

[Mike Wright]

Certainly they're a good team.

[Jason Moore]

It's been a real strange situation with Cam was somebody that I thought could be huge bounce back and I felt smart and dumb every other week.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah.

With Cam Newton.

[Mike Wright]

Well, and here's the thing about the Dolphins. You had Jonathan Stewart coming into the game averaging. I think they said on the broadcast the second worst yards per carry in the league. About 2.8. Comes out here. 17 carries for 110 yards. Looked like he looked unstoppable. I mean, so this is more a product of the Dolphins defense to me than anything else.

If you had to bank on that backfield, you know, the packers say time Montgomery might play this week has a chance to play. Is that what you want associated with your fancy football players? Has a chance to play with chancing quotes?

That's Ty Montgomery. All season long, he's got a chance.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, but you don't want to play him. I mean, this is a re aggravation of a rib injury that he, you know, already injured. So you put him out in the game. What's the chance he finishes that game if he plays this week? I would not want to roll that out in my fantasy lineup.

[Mike Wright]

And Aaron Jones, even if he misses three weeks, this is pretty close to fantasy death for this season for Aaron Jones because are you going to say, okay, it's week 14, it's the playoffs, Aaron Jones maybe is the starting running back.

[Andy Holloway]

No. No way. Packers so have to see it first, which means you're going to be in the middle of your fantasy playoffs and it's not happening. He's not going to come back and get that role, is he.

[Mike Wright]

Is he droppable?

[Andy Holloway]

Yes, 100% droppable. If you're in a redraft league, you. I think he. You don't want to take sitting here at week 11.

[Jason Moore]

Absolutely. All right. Rob Kelly is going to miss multiple games. Washington is in New Orleans. Do you have any confidence in playing anybody in the backfield other than Chris Thompson?

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah.

Like, would you play P. Ryan against New Orleans?

[Andy Holloway]

In New Orleans, I would play P. Ryan in New Orleans. I know it's. We've been waiting for P. Ryan to do something, and so far this year he really has not. But the Washington offensive line during the draft season, that was, you know, one of it should have been like a top five offensive line. They've been decimated by injury this year, and it's finally coming back together. I think last game was the first game where all five pieces of the original starters were together. And he's going to get the opportunity. I know New Orleans defense has been.

[Mike Wright]

They were, they were like the sun on Shady.

[Andy Holloway]

Yes. No, they, they. They've been great.

[Jason Moore]

Ryan this week is going to be a flex worthy start. And obviously this being the waiver show, he's someone you should be looking on your waivers to pick up if you need a spot. Started running back.

When we talk about him later, I'll bring up some other names and you can kind of tell me whether you'd start P. Ryan or those players and we can help people make some decisions. Alan Hearns isn't going to play in week 11.

Philip Rivers, he's in the concussion protocol. He self reported some symptoms. He's in the protocol. We'll see if he plays this week.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, he is. All right, well, that game is Pittsburgh, Tennessee on Thursday night in Tennessee. But Pittsburgh's a seven point favorite, I believe just. No, I'm sorry, that's in Pittsburgh.

If he is dealing with an injury as the waivers, I would make a backup plan just in case.

It's nice if you do get into that situation.

The 49ers, Colts, jets and Panthers are on by this week. Week 11. So, you know, don't start your Cam Newtons and your Marquis Goodwins. Otherwise zero points.

[Mike Wright]

All right, wide receivers, who are we targeting this week at the wide receiver position?

[Mike Wright]

Well, this. These are just the, you know, the kind of the probably owns. They're almost certainly owned. But you're talking in the 70% on Yahoo. Just make sure you check for Robbie Anderson, Sterling Shepard and Robert woods as like I said, they're probably gone, but you never know when people drop it like it's hot.

[Andy Holloway]

According to Yahoo, 30% of leagues you know, around there still have some of these players. So we definitely need to mention them because if we're diving deep and saying, hey look, you know, maybe you could pick up Jameson Crowder this week and play him. Don't do that if those other names are out there. As far as guys that are more widely available out on the waiver wire right now, you know, this is about a 5050 guy, not someone that is everywhere. But I still believe in Jeremy Macklin. I have this whole season.

[Mike Wright]

Sure.

[Andy Holloway]

He's. He's shown up for every game that Joe Flacco has been the starter for and I think you could get. I mean he's got a matchup in Green Bay this coming week and moving forward, I think Jeremy Macklin will be a weekly guy that the rest of the season in the right matchup you can play whereas some of these guys are. You're only looking for this week.

[Mike Wright]

Right.

[Jason Moore]

I actually agree with that. I think I've been impressed with.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, we won him over.

[Andy Holloway]

Got him.

At least with the potential of that combination. I think Joe Flacco's been playing. He can play better and this offense can move the ball better than it has. It just needs to be healthy. You're going to get Danny Woodhead back in the mix in the next few weeks. Not expected this week, but that will help move the offense and when it comes push comes to shove down in the. In the red zone, if they can ever get there, I think Macklin's going to be pretty involved and so I like that take. Do you like him more than a guy like Marquis Lee rest of the season?

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, I do.

Just because that's that schedule, man. Packers, Houston, Detroit. I mean you can play him in all those Pittsburgh on the road, I probably would not.

[Jason Moore]

But then with Hayden out, maybe it's not a big deal.

Possibly. Yeah, certainly. But then you Browns, Colts, I mean.

[Andy Holloway]

That'S a Browns Colts will be your semifinal and your championship.

That's Jeremy Macklin's schedule. As far as Marquis Lee, he. He has looked like the number one target. Alan Hearns is out. So I do like Marquis Lee. Probably like him even more this week at Cleveland depending on. I know it's really, really early, but the weather reports scare me right now. In Cleveland. Although come to think of it, it's kind of Cleveland and Green Bay. There is a storm a brewing this week, so maybe, maybe look for some dome games.

I really like a 0% owned player named Bruce Ellington.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah.

This week at home, Patrick Peterson will be locked up often with DeAndre Hopkins. Will Fuller hurt passing options? Not a lot of them. I think that Bruce Ellington could give you a very surprise game. Now you're talking deeper leagues, bye week, stressful situations. I have a league where I'm looking to start him because I have, you know, a bunch of injuries and players. On by, Ty Hilton on by. But Bruce Ellington, if you need a name from nowhere that no one's going to sign, I want him on your radar.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, absolutely. I'll throw out once again, Josh Dachshund. Although this, I mean, this feels more and more like Joe Mixon situation where you just, you're like, okay, this is the week. But if you actually watched what happened in the, in the game, Josh Dachshund was wide open for a touchdown on just a simple out route. Lost his footing, fell down, no touchdown. Later in the game, he's just running a seam route. Wide open, wide open to the inside. Kirk Cousins misses him. And I believe there was another play that could have resulted in a touchdown that was simply not executed on. So Josh Dachshund is getting involved. It was four for 30. He had seven targets, which, I mean, that's, that's a new career high. We're talking snaps. 92, 92% for Josh Dachshund. Washington is there. They're saying, okay, Dachshund is the guy.

The connection still hasn't happened, but it feels like we are so close to it happening.

[Andy Holloway]

I really like Josh Dachshund. He. He is like you said, Mike, that 4 for 30 line does not speak to his involvement. Watching the film is like, oh, he is seemingly their number one wide receiver.

[Jason Moore]

Well, that's what my follow up was going to be. Xavier Rhodes track Dachshund the whole game. So their best D, I mean, Minnesota's perspective is Dachshund's number one. The targets were still there. He still had a tough matchup. It was just one of those, hey, maybe we're seeing, you know, the calm before the fantasy storm. Hopefully we see some touchdowns out of Dachshund. They need to use him. And they're, I mean, they're scraping the bottom of the barrel for wide receiver options there.

[Mike Wright]

If nothing else, he has to play the Saints this week so that you know it's a tougher matchup with the Saints, the way they're playing. But then he gets the Giants.

[Jason Moore]

Sure.

So mark the calendar two weeks. Josh Dachshund, breakout.

Well, and the same could be said for another guy that we've been saying to pick up for a while, Corey Davis. This week he's at Pittsburgh, not the best matchup. And I apologize because I can't recall the source, but someone had tweeted out. There has been three times a Tennessee receiver has received double digit targets. Two of those games are Corey Davis, who has played four games. So clearly they want to get him involved.

By far the most well rounded and talented wide receiver that they have. And he's getting healthier and he's flashed some big playability. You say all these things about a guy like Doxson or Mixon or Davis, but you. The reason we say that, you know that like you're waiting, at least you were waiting for the potential of something. Like there are so many players that that statement can't be said about. Right? Like there's baselines to these players that aren't as athletic or young or, you know, in line for more opportunity. You're kind of looking to mix and match the, you know, that opportunity that.

You can see there, it's kinetic energy.

It's there and there's there. There's one other guy that I would throw out. You know, look in, in super deep leagues, maybe you look at Dede Westbrook or Josh Gordon.

With Alan Hearns hurt. Do you think that Dee Dee gets activated this week?

I don't think that will be based on the Alan Hearns injury. It's based on D.D. westbrook's injury. But the guy that I would. Speaking of injured guys coming back, the one I would target more than any of them would be Corey Coleman. He's all systems go for week 11. Now, this is a terrible week because he's playing against Jacksonville, but I would pick him up because I still believe in the talent.

I don't know how to feel about him. I like the player, but an injured player coming back on Cleveland. I'm just. I don't know how to feel about it.

Sure. No, I completely get it. But if you're a team looking for someone that could blow up later in the playoffs, there's just not that many options of guys as talented who could end up with a market share. I mean, he's beyond their best wide receiver. They don't have any good options. So, you know, if Kaiser starts coming around two, three weeks from now, Corey Coleman, who's available in almost, can I.

Yeah, absolutely. And I think both, both are basically unowned and both are well deserving of rostering. Even if you didn't start P. Ryan this week, even if you just wanted to see what you had in P. Ryan this week, if Rob Kelly's going to miss multiple weeks and you got the Giants at home in two weeks, at least you have a flexibility situation. In terms of P. Ryan, the running back for the Redskins. Jamal Williams, packers. And then he could be the starter. He had 20 carries last week and they're going to need to take pressure off Brett Hundley.

[Andy Holloway]

I agree that those are the two main pickups. If you need a start, those are the hot ones. So let's talk between them. What prices would you bid and in which order? Would you rather have Jamal Williams or would you rather have Samaj P. Ryan going forward? And here's some of the schedule. Let's just take the next three weeks where it looks like both of these players will be valuable. Jamal Williams is at home against Baltimore, not that great. On the road against Pittsburgh, not that great. Although they're, you know, they're much better against the pass in the run. And then Tampa Bay, which is great. But by three weeks from now, I assume Ty Montgomery will be back. Then you got Samaj P. Ryan, who's at New Orleans. I don't think that's too bad of a matchup. The New York Giants at home. Yes, please. And then on the road against Dallas.

[Mike Wright]

This isn't really necessarily matchup based decision for me. This is Samajp Ryan because he's the clear one, two down back. While Jamal Williams want to make the.

Same argument in reverse.

Well, and you have a. What looks like a long term solution at the running back position. At least a long term guy who will get touches and snaps where Burrita is. We've seen this a couple weeks ago where he came in and Carlos Hyde was still the man. Burrito just got the touchdown. Austin Eckler, while he's, you know, arguably a better running back than Melvin Gordon, he's still just the handcuff.

What if you could get Damian Williams for the same price as Jamal Williams or Samaj P. Ryan? Would you?

[Mike Wright]

I would much rather have Jamal or Samaji.

Really. Okay. What is Matt Burrida in terms of rest of season and dynasty in that situation? In rest, asking for a friend.

[Mike Wright]

Sure. Rest of season, he's. He's still simply a handcuff that you. If you're panicked and have nothing else, you can throw him in there and hope that he Gets a touchdown for dynasty purposes. Carlos Hyde is really an enigma because you had all that weirdness of this past offseason where they were going to move on from Carlos Hyde. The Lynch, the GM for the 49ers has made some really questionable decisions already this past offseason, the way he was handling things. So it wouldn't shock me if they get rid of Carlos Hyde, but football wise, it would be stupid. It would be.

Rid of Carlos Hyde. The best running back on your team.

[Andy Holloway]

You know, a name that we didn't.

So I would throw him in that mix where I bid. You know, I feel like a couple really good matchups.

In fact, his prognosis going forward would be probably slowly, week by week, just getting more and more touches as he's the superior talent you would think you would hope. Adam. Yeah, I've been looking into the Danny Woodhead news because he is a guy that I think when he gets back, you know, when he gets plugged in, he's going to be great. He's going to be there for the fantasy playoffs and be a, you know, a guy that I believe will help win titles.

They just released the Baltimore Ravens released Bobby Rainey.

[Jason Moore]

So it, it's coming.

[Mike Wright]

It would appear they are positioning.

[Andy Holloway]

Yes. Now the reports early when he first got this hamstring injury was okay, it's two to four weeks and then it quickly was like, no, no, this is six to eight weeks and then Danny Woodhead injury, right? And he's 33 years old. He's not going to recover quicker than the average NFL player at 33. And he's never been, you know, a quick healer. This issue, we don't know how severe the tear was, but if it was a, if it was a grade three, that's usually like a three to six month timeline. And we're only two months in, so follow the news because supposed to practice.

Tuesday, you just don't know if he's going to.

[Andy Holloway]

He's been practicing lightly. The question is whether or not he's good enough to come back and go full speed. So keep him on your radar. If he's dropped and you're in an IR league, definitely pick him up. But in those situations, he's probably already stashed.

If you're looking for a week, you know, a signing for this week, it's Drake, it's P. Ryan. If you're looking, if you're sitting pretty, you got a roster you, you want to protect against some injuries down the line or whatever that case may be. Look at a guy like Danny Woodhead, maybe you look at a guy like Rex Burkhead to see if that sustained involvement, you know, you see it for multiple weeks. Another guy to just throw out there. I mean, if Elijah McGuire is going to get 58% of snaps and Matt Forte is going to miss a long time, you could look at McGuire. I don't think you, I think you wait another week to do that with the bye week.

[Andy Holloway]

So I will, I will say this. Another guy that I'm, I'm looking to add in, in a couple of these leagues is Eddie Lacy. He, I don't know that he'll be back this week, but if you're talking about, you know, the Danny Wood heads, the guys where it's like, I'm not sure, I don't need the spot start right now. But Eddie Lacy actually looked good when, you know, he was finally given the role before he got injured with his groin. That was great.

[Jason Moore]

Somebody I saw, I read it on Reddit, like every, I don't know, seems like every week there's a thread about what's your favorite fantasy football podcast? Because nobody can like find the one that was just posted. And somebody replied and said, fantasy footballers. It's a great show. Really enjoy it. And the first reply was, ack my groin.

I'd rather have. I think I'd rather put Latavius Murray in there than play with that offense and how it's playing than play like the Jamal Williams game on that offense.

Okay, let me ask you, Kenya Drake or Latavius Murray?

[Jason Moore]

I take Drake for the big play. I know he's involved. I know he's going to catch passes and he can actually break a long one. Whereas I'm not waiting for Murray to get his turn around the goal line.

[Andy Holloway]

You know, looking at Latavius Murray's carries since the injury, 12, 15, 18, 19, 17, that is a guy heavily involved in a pretty good offense. Maybe we're missing bearing the lead here with the sneakiness of Latavius Murray.

[Jason Moore]

I think you also look at matchup opportunities for them. Like I love Latavius Murray as a start against Green bay in week 16 and week 17, 17 against Chicago. Whereas, you know, a team like the Rams this week, I think it favors McKinnon because I think the Rams are going to score points and I think this game is going to be higher scoring. Detroit, Atlanta, next couple weeks might favor McKinnon a little bit, but the carry counts. I mean, you can't argue with it. A couple touchdowns over the last three weeks. Let's move on to some tight end options. Greg Olson's in the camp of Danny Woodhead. Greg Olson's practicing.

He is on his bye week this week.

He is on his bye week. But he's 59% owned and this is the time you can snag him a week ahead of people that become aware next week when he's activated and he's in the headlines. Jermaine Grassland scored a couple consecutive weeks. He's a streaming option. But my favorites, they're probably owned. But Vernon Davis right now still the guy to go get. Jared Cook super heavily involved and had the week 10 buy. So maybe he snuck out there. Maybe he was a drop it like it's hot. Somebody dropped him and you could snag him.

The Vernon Davis is so ridiculous. Like in my money league. Sunday morning the news comes out. Okay, Jordan Reed is actually not going to play. And I had Seferrian Jenkins and I just took a little look at the waiver wire. There's Vernon Davis just sitting there, just, just sitting there like a disrespected. Just a delightful early Christmas present. Picked him up, played him.

How'd you do?

[Mike Wright]

He, he outscored ASJ slightly. Both of them had pretty good games. But it's just the fact that Vernon Davis, he is, he's playing so well. He's playing so well that his ownership at 64% is ludicrous.

[Jason Moore]

It's still tough to argue that there's a tight end out there that can make a harder cut than Vernon Davis does in the open field. When he gets the ball, he's still does it. And he's a player who twice in his career, 13 touchdowns, had, you know, pushed a thousand yards multiple times. I know he's not that guy anymore, but he knows what he's doing. And if he was the full time tight end in Washington for the entire year, what are we talking, 808?

[Andy Holloway]

You're talking a top five tight end probably. Especially with the way that Kirk Cousins uses.

[Jason Moore]

Exactly.

[Andy Holloway]

Uses tight ends. You can look for Martella's, Bennett.

Just to play the game with Vernon Davis since week three when. Because they, they didn't use him weeks one and two. You know, you're talking one target those two games. But since week three, his pace is 66 receptions over a thousand yards.

Yeah, I was going to bring up Charles Clay. Charles Clay. That's, that's who I was going to bring up. If you look at his schedule moving forward, the Los Angeles Chargers are usually an okay team to play the tight end position than the Jets, New Orleans. It's a. I'm sorry, the Chargers The Chiefs, New England, Indianapolis, Miami. I mean, you've got a stretch where every single week you're going to be playing him. And this was a very disappointing week. When he came back. If you had disappointing for the Buffalo Bills. Yeah, if you had picked him up and played him, you were really disappointed this last week. But it was his first week back off of injury. You still saw Nick O'Leary a little bit involved. He got a touchdown.

Clay did not play his usual snaps. He's in the 60% where he's usually in those mid-80s.

Right. So if he goes back to that with this lineup of games, I think you'll be really happy with Charles Clay. If you can't get a Greg Olson and you're dealing with all the bar fee tight ends this year, check out.

I want to talk about your favorite defensive starts for this week. You're picking up a defense, you're playing them. I want to talk about Philadelphia, the Dallas situation, Tyrone Smith. We saw what Atlanta's defense did to Dallas. Do you feel like. And Philadelphia is a top 10 D. The last I've heard Jerry Jones's quote on Tyrone Smith this week is I hope so. He's not practicing on Wednesday. They say he has a better chance to play than Sean Lee does for that defense, for that, that team, but it's not a guarantee he plays.

Chaz Green is probably not going to be there, but the pass rush in Philadelphia, the opportunity without Ezekiel Elliott. I like Philadelphia. I like Kansas City.

If Smith is. If Tyrone Smith is out for Dallas, Philadelphia will be. They'll be in sensational play.

What other defenses do you like this week? Baltimore takes on Green Bay if they're available after their bye week. Houston at Arizona. I think Houston's an upside play. You've got Blaine Gabbard likely starting. Arizona doesn't offer you a ton offensively if they can shut down, which they've generally shut down. The running game last week was an exception. But if they shut down Adrian Peterson, we see how Arizona can't score.

You got to check out the Bengals. They get to play the Broncos and they're very low owned. I would be very interested in that play as well.

All right, full stream ahead. We're looking for a quarterback streaming option. Somebody can sign off the waiver wire roll out there. He had some players last week that were home runs in that department. If you could get Jared Goff last week, it worked out for you. If you could play a guy like C.J. bethard, he had a monster game. Kurt Cousins had a big game. Let's look at this week. I. There are several options out there. Case Keenum was another player you could have streamed last week. And Jason, looks like you're going with him again this week.

[Andy Holloway]

I am going with him again this week. Give me the Case now for Case, sure. Case Keenum is a guy that you can't bank on one performance leading into the next. So originally I was going to throw a little bit of caution because, you know, earlier in the season, week three against Tampa Bay, he threw for 369 yards, three touchdowns. Oh, case Keenum, he's so great. And then the next week, Detroit seems like a good matchup. 219 yards, no touchdowns. So, you know, that's why he's on the waivers, is because he's. He's not this locked and loaded guarantee. But the LA Rams are going to score even on this Minnesota defense. This is in Minnesota, which is good for Case Keenum, especially good for weather coming up this week. You're in a dome, so I don't have to worry about weather. I'm at home and I'm probably going to have to keep up with scoring against the LA Rams. I just like that combination. Case Keenum should be able to get it done.

I would also not underestimate the return of Stefan Diggs to the lineup and making that baseline a little higher for Keenum. It's not just Thielen or Rudolph or McKinnon. Yeah, you got Diggs threatening downfield.

[Andy Holloway]

Now, the week three matchup where he was awesome and threw for 369 and three, well, that was when Diggs was the wider, the number one wide receiver in fantasy that week. Look, both are great. You're talking about, you know, the two best quarterbacks in football and both plus matchups. Now, New York's matchup is great. I mean, their defense is quit or it just appears that they're not playing with you. Know the eyes on the playoffs. Obviously they're not going after guys in the open field. Are they going to be able to chase down Tyreek Hill, for instance, when they're giving or Zeus 90% effort? So Alex Smith is a great play, but if Sean Lee is out, which he should, it appears he will be for Dallas. He is everything to that defense and I think the better quarterback it is actually Carson Wentz.

Yeah, it's. Man, that one's tough for me. I'm the slower buy in on juju to have continued success. I know he had it, you know, once again last week. But you also saw Antonio Brown vanish from the fantasy line. And Marvin Jones has been so hot. But I mean, I guess you got to lean juju at this point because I do agree with the smooth routes coming in and taking some of that juice from Marvin Jones Juju last three.

[Andy Holloway]

Games, each of the last three games he's had a touchdown. Last two weeks he has a combined, almost a combined 300 yards.

[Jason Moore]

I hope he becomes a thing for a long time because the name is just fun.

Good. Here's a great question, guys. I want to know what you think, especially after the last two weeks. David Horner from Twitter says this guaranteed lock for the playoffs. Should I try to trade DeAndre Hopkins for Michael Crabtree?

Now I'm asking this because we were all about Hopkins schedule being tough in the playoffs. But with Savage, he has been good for two consecutive weeks, right?

[Mike Wright]

The targets, the target market share has gone up even more. I mean, Watson was all about that Hopkins life. And Tom Savage said, hey, maybe that works.

[Jason Moore]

And we know Savage is starting again this week. Seems they're pretty committed him mostly because they know they don't have anything else.

[Mike Wright]

If you're going to make this move, which I'm still open to it because I do have concerns about the matchups for Hopkins in the, in the Jalen.

[Andy Holloway]

Ramsey and the Jacksonville Jaguars in the semifinals. And then in week 16, the championship week is Pittsburgh.

Thank you so, and we know that the Raiders, we talked about this. They have a, they have plus matchups in the fantasy playoffs. But you have to get more. You can't, you can't say I have the number one wide receiver in fantasy football and DeAndre Hopkins say, hey, let's just do a, do a swap. No, you upgrade something else as well and to really make it worth it.
