Alright, before we start today's show, I want to tell you about a great new podcast called Outside the Box. If you're a maker, an innovator, or even just a consumer who wants to peek behind the curtain of some of the world's greatest organizations, you're going to love this podcast. The latest episode, which is available right now, features former NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabu talking about massive innovations, both on and off the field, that helped football become America's most popular sport. He also talks about how the opportunities and challenges the league has faced are similar to those faced by businesses of all types. Listen along on Apple Podcasts, Stitch or Spotify or wherever you get your podcast.

Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast coming to you from the Play Draft Studios with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright.
Andy Holloway
Welcome. I am so happy to be here this Fun Tuesday morning, November 22nd.
Jason Moore
I feel like you had to look up what day of the week it was there. You look this fine.
Andy Holloway
I was looking up what day of the month it was. I knew it was a Tuesday. Just wanted to confirm the November part.
Jason Moore
Okay. Yeah.
Mike Wright
You wanted to make sure it's still November.
Andy Holloway
Look, man, I got kids, I don't sleep.
Jason Moore
It's also Christmas inside of all of our homes and Christmas time.
Mike Wright
We just need to merge them to.
Andy Holloway
No, look, I got smooches on the mind. Oh, wow, that's disturbing. On an audio level. Talking about J.D. mcKissick. We had a fun play by play adventure last night. We have a team in the Fantasy Pros Invitational Dynasty league that we all, we own together, the Fantasy Footballers franchise. And we were facing off against good friend of the show, good friend Mike.
Mike Wright
Taglier of Fantasy Pros.
Andy Holloway
Yes. And we were head to head. And he had Julio Jones and we had Tevin Coleman and J.D. mcKissick, who I we now call smooches. And it came, it went right down to the wire. They took away that Tevin Coleman touchdown at the end of the game and then we needed one point, you know, two point something points and McKissick ends up with a final catch and we win by point four.
Mike Wright
So eat it. There was a lot of me shouting, dang it, smooches.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
And the kids were on break, so they were. I let them stay up.
Andy Holloway
Oh, you were screaming that in your house.
Mike Wright
Yeah. And the kids thought that was the funniest thing they had ever heard.
Andy Holloway
So every play you're just saying dang it, smooches.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
J.D. mcKissick came through with the final catch. Full point. PPR League. And we won and we're the best and Mike's the worst. Tagliere, that is.
Jason Moore
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Mike Wright
The other Mike.
Andy Holloway
Thanks, Mooches. Welcome to the show. Waiver wire episode. A lot of good articles on the website. If you want to catch up on injuries, team defense recap. Great writers over there. Great articles. Don't miss it. The fantasy footballers.com we're on Twitter @the ffballers. Do you guys have any big takeaways from the game last night? Obviously the defense for Seattle at home without Richard Sherman, it's a problem.
Mike Wright
They were. Matt Ryan looked a lot to Richard Sherman's side of the field.
Andy Holloway
Former side of the field.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. And Shaq Griffin, he had also left that game with an injury. I mean, they, they were beat up all over the place.
Jason Moore
Yeah. You're not going to be able to count on the Seattle defense the way that you have the last few years. If you're playing them as a, as a, a dst. And then, you know, if you have offensive pieces going up against them, I don't think you need to be as afraid, especially in the passing game.
Andy Holloway
I can't and I don't know the answer to this. Maybe you guys know it already, but when's the last time the Seahawks gave up 34 points at home?
Mike Wright
I was just going to bring that up.
Andy Holloway
So it played to what we expect. Like good players when they go out. It kind of hurts. Cam Chancellor and Richard Sherman that team is going to need. Now this could be good for Russell Wilson, Right?
Jason Moore
Yeah. Fantasy wise.
Andy Holloway
He has to. I mean, his ability to come back in these games. They were about, what, four feet from tying this game. Going to overtime, all the momentum at home, they could have won this game. Russell Wilson. Russell.
Jason Moore
Russell.
Andy Holloway
Taking care of business. Jimmy Graham. Jimmy Graham is the new running back for the Seattle Seahawks because they can't run the ball. And Jimmy Graham is becoming more and more of a go to target. I think he had 11 targets last night.
Jason Moore
Yeah. And they're not going to pound it in at the one you get on that goal line and it's going to be the Russell Wilson running, running it.
Mike Wright
Out or going to Jimmy Graham going to Jimmy Graham.
Andy Holloway
So he could have had a much bigger night. He should have additional touchdowns.
Mike Wright
He should have had a much bigger night. It's funny you bring up the running back because.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, let's talk about that.
Mike Wright
Mike Davis, of course, was the starting running back for the Seahawks former practice squad. Did not. Mike Davis did not realize this was going to happen. Thomas Rawls was a late healthy scratch. I think that the, the end or the era of Thomas Rawls is may. I guess I don't know if you can officially call it over because Mike Davis, while he looks like the best running back Seattle has seen since Chris Carson, he had, he left the game with my groin. He left with a groin injury. And then J.D. mcKissick, Mr. Smooches, he came in and he was getting all the snaps and all the touches at the running back position. So who knows what's going to happen now. Eddie Lacy was used very sparingly, mostly just short yardage situations, only three carries.
Andy Holloway
I actually think the defensive struggles that Seattle will probably experience rest of the season lends itself for smooches. Yeah, McKissick will be on the field. He'll be on there at a minimum third downs. If you have to bet on somebody being on the field, McKissick is at least going to be there. He lines up wide. Those inside slants, C.J.
Jason Moore
Could be worse. Is done for the year. So if you're in a PPR league, I think McKissick has a really nice baseline. He's, he's relatively safe going forward and he's got that speed to where he can have those big blow up games. If you know he takes one of those screens 30 yards to the house, I really like him. This is a waiver wire day, so definitely look for McKissick if you're in a PPR league. And would you guys put in a claim on Mike Davis, hoping that he comes because Eddie Lacy, Thomas Rawls, done. Don't pick him up. Drop them. They're not going to do anything.
Mike Wright
I might put a claim in on Davis, but I'm not going to burn a priority for Mike Davis. And I would put maybe one or two dollars I imagine at the most.
Andy Holloway
I imagine McKissick is nearly as unowned.
Mike Wright
We can, we can check that out for you.
Andy Holloway
So I mean obviously he's, he's more owned than Davis, but if I had to make a choice there, I'd definitely be choosing the McKissick side.
Jason Moore
He's 9% owned, so he is absolutely available in most leagues.
Andy Holloway
So that's, that's the way I would go. Do you think you lean that way?
Jason Moore
Oh, 100%. I don't know that I would put in a claim on, on Davis at all.
Andy Holloway
Smooches.
Jason Moore
Yes, it was smooches for this guy.
Andy Holloway
Okay, let's, let's talk news.
Jason Moore
News and notes. From around the league.
Andy Holloway
All right, well, look, this is the time of year where your depth starts to pay off because these injuries, the ones that bang, you know, your team gets banged up and you're trying to make the playoffs, you're trying to win in the playoffs. Now we're heading into week 12. Robert woods, he's going to miss a couple of weeks. Do you, I mean, are we going to talk Cooper cup today?
Mike Wright
Yep. Yeah, he's the replacements. If you're talking what I perceive as the majority of those woods targets will.
Andy Holloway
Go to, it seems like it's impossible for target share to really expand for Sammy Watkins in general. I don't think that it's an injury that's going to help that, but so those have to go somewhere. Cooper Cup, Kelvin Benjamin, he's not dealing with ligament damage. His status is uncertain for week 12. I'd be staying away from him regardless because you don't know who the quarterback is and he hasn't shown you much in Buffalo yet.
Mike Wright
Speaking of just. Sorry, real quick, back to the game. Matt Ryan, since the beginning of the year, he has turned things around. He hasn't given you any of those like explosive games that you got last year, but every game for the last four weeks, he's thrown basically at least 200 yards and two touchdowns. He's playing much, much better.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, he is. And not making as many mistakes.
Mike Wright
Right.
Andy Holloway
And Julio always involved. Need some more touchdowns from Julio Jones.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Five for 71. You'll take it.
Andy Holloway
But Andre Ellington was waived by the Cardinals. There you go.
Jason Moore
It was surprising, but I think they dealt with. They've dealt with too long of a history of just not being able to rely on him, him not being healthy. They wanted to just bring someone else up that they can work in and know he's going to be out there on the field.
Mike Wright
It'll be interesting to see if anyone claims him on waivers. He's got a, you know, a reasonably cheap contract. I think it was a fifth round pick and he's still on that contract. I saw the name Washington floated out there as a possible team that could look to pick him up. They just lost Chris Thompson.
Andy Holloway
Sure.
Jason Moore
You need Rob Kelly.
Mike Wright
You need a scat back who, who can. Who's proven in the passing game. And Ellington is.
Jason Moore
If he's healthy.
Mike Wright
Yeah, if he's healthy.
Andy Holloway
Greg Olson, we talked about it yesterday, was practicing. He's going to play in Week 12, barring a setback. That's exciting.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he's another one of those must grab waiver guys. If he's still out there in your league this week.
Andy Holloway
Okay, let's take a look here. Blaine Gabbard. Blaine Gabbard's gonna start again in week 12.
Jason Moore
Doesn't matter.
Mike Wright
Revenge game.
Jason Moore
Yeah. The Jacksonville Jaguars will be the ones getting the revenge.
Andy Holloway
Did you follow?
Mike Wright
That's really what I meant.
Andy Holloway
Did you hear. So Bruce Arians came out, Arizona Cardinals head coach, and after the game on Sunday where they lost to the Texans, he took the blame for the loss. That. It's all on him. You know, basically going forward on fourth down. That was the play where Adrian Peterson got stuffed. Completely Arian's fault. I lost the game. This is. He came out and this was the confession on Sunday. You hear his Monday confession?
Mike Wright
No.
Andy Holloway
You guys didn't hear it. It's great that you didn't hear it. He said, I take it all back. Oh, I take every bit of it back. He said, I. Every single thing I said yesterday, I take back it was a blown assignment by one of the offensive linemen who blocked the wrong guy. It was a great play call, and it's 100%. I take everything back. I said.
Jason Moore
So he put it on his specific guy.
Andy Holloway
Yes. Burt blown. Port Bruce blown assignment unnecessary.
Mike Wright
Look, you could. In the team meeting, you say that. You say, guys, do you see what I just did for you in the public? I took that loss and it was you and just point the finger and burn a hole in his soul with your eyes. But you don't need to go public with that.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. So nothing to gain. It was very funny to me. It made me laugh. Chuck Pagano said Jacoby Brissette is going to be in the concussion protocol, or he still is. But they expect him to play this week against the Titans.
Mike Wright
I sure hope so.
Andy Holloway
Jay Cutler still in the protocol. John Brown's been diagnosed with turf toe. He could miss time. I would bet that he will.
Jason Moore
He's very good at missing time in practices or in the game.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Troll Pryor's on ir. His season's over. Some seasons don't go the way you want them to go.
Mike Wright
No.
Andy Holloway
Troll Prior, one of the bigger busts of the entire fantasy.
Jason Moore
He bet on himself with that one year contract.
Mike Wright
Snake eyes.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Hey. I bet on him. On himself. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jason Moore
Not.
Andy Holloway
Not good. Dan Bailey has a chance to play on Thanksgiving. So if you were starting a Cowboys kicker, it might not be. I mean, it might be Bailey and then Aaron Jones. Oh. Oh. Arrested. What's. Speeding, driving without a license, operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in a system.
Mike Wright
The Interesting thing about this is this was an unreported piece of news. This was back in early October. This was before his first start. So coach McCarthy knew about this incident. It is helpful and still went with Aaron Jones multiple times. So for his future on the team, I'm not going to panic. If the coaches didn't know about this, then it would be curtains for Aaron Jones, I believe. But he played well. And when you play well, coaches tend to overlook certain incidents off the field.
Andy Holloway
All right, we're going to jump into the waiver wire segment of the show. Before we do that, I just want to remind you that my dynasty team is 11 and up.
Mike Wright
Oh.
Andy Holloway
My dynasty team is undefeated.
Mike Wright
Lowest points against does it again.
Andy Holloway
I have the. Mike, stop. Stop throwing shade on my 11 and O season. Lowest points against, most points scored.
Jason Moore
Yeah. And he's got a really solid point there.
Mike Wright
No, because lowest points against means that there's those weeks that come up.
Andy Holloway
What do I control? I control my points scored, and I'm the best in the league. Mike is dreaming. Mike is dreaming of meeting me now. At this point, Mike, I'm 11 and, oh, in case you didn't hear, at this point, I have two weeks left in the regular season, and you have threatened to defeat me in the playoffs and ruin my life.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Are you hoping at this point that I complete the regular season perfect?
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Mike Wright
Very much so.
Andy Holloway
Okay. So that the pain will be more severe.
Mike Wright
Yes. Because the fall from the top into that spiky pit of doom.
Andy Holloway
Welcome to fantasy football.
Mike Wright
If you go, look, if we meet in the championship game and you're undefeated. Yeah. And I pull out that win, that will be the signature win of my entire fantasy football career.
Jason Moore
It looks like right now. It looks like right now, just we're going to have an opportunity here. Brooks plays Andy before the season is over.
Mike Wright
Don't screw this up.
Andy Holloway
Brooks is my final regular season game. You know, hopefully I'm going to win this week, and then I beat him next week.
Jason Moore
Both Mike and I are currently playoff bound. Well, you're definitely in. And I am in as of this moment. So we have three opportunities here to take you down.
Andy Holloway
Now, Mike, Mike could knock you out of the playoffs before he knocks me out.
Jason Moore
That is true.
Andy Holloway
Mike could have this signature. Yeah. Welcome to the end of this season.
Mike Wright
Oh, man. That'll be a stamp. That'll be the tattoo on the side.
Andy Holloway
All right, waiver time. Did I already push the button?
Jason Moore
No.
Andy Holloway
Okay, I'm going to push the button.
Jason Moore
Watch.
Andy Holloway
Watch me.
Jason Moore
Put me in, Coach.
Andy Holloway
I Was just so distracted by my record. It's just so shiny.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
All right, wide receivers, let's talk about some waiver pickups this week. We've talked about the injuries.
Jason Moore
Pyrite.
Andy Holloway
Oh, my season. My season. Pyrite. I see what you're doing there. Yeah. A little fool's gold.
Jason Moore
Getting a little.
Mike Wright
Getting a little.
Andy Holloway
We'll see. We'll see. All right, wide receivers that are probably owned but worth checking on in your league. Tennessee Titans wide out, rookie Corey Davis. Corey Davis, 3 for 27 on 7 targets this past week, but he does have a juicy matchup with Indianapolis. And then Robbie Anderson, he's probably owned, but he's coming off. Coming off the bye bye. So if he's not owned, and for.
Mike Wright
All the people I know, I know some of you are. You're operating your motor vehicle right now, rolling the eyes, going, ugh. There is no chance that someone like Robbie Anderson would be available in leagues. Ladies and gentlemen, the drop it like it's hot rule. You have to check every day to see who has dropped because some of these tweets we have seen come through of foot gland listeners going, I just happened to check, and someone tried to smuggle player X through, and it was unbelievable. And they just snatched him right off the wave.
Jason Moore
All the time.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
And it always follows them saying that. They were like, I can't believe you said to look for this guy. It never happened. Like, oh, my goodness, it happened. And I got him.
Mike Wright
Just take a little peek.
Andy Holloway
Didn't you talk about Samaj? P. Ryan in one of your leagues was sitting out there. Yeah, last week.
Mike Wright
Yeah, last week. I had no fab in my money league, so I couldn't put anything on Samaj. And I was kind of overloaded already at running backs, but there he was. Once waivers ran, it's like, well, I'm not going to not pick him up. So I grabbed him, and now I have this week's top waiver.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Well, what's amazing about that, I know we're in the wide receiver section, but he's only 35% owned now, people. He should have been.
Mike Wright
We talked about this last week.
Jason Moore
100% owned after last week.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. That means we currently have 35% of the podcast market.
Jason Moore
The Foot Clan is in about 35% of leagues. I love it.
Andy Holloway
That's the math. If P. Ryan's ownership percentage is directly proportional to our saturation levels, we could do better.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Need to move that needle up.
Andy Holloway
All right, who's your favorite waiver wire pickup at the Wide receiver position. Those were guys that are probably owned. Now we're talking main waiver wire pickups. Some interesting stat lines this week. You guys tell me who your favorites are because I have several that I'm into. Yeah, Corey Coleman, 6 for 80 on 11 targets. By far the best wide receiver there in Cleveland right now. Josh Dockson finally had a bigger yardage game. 4 for 81, 7 targets. Seems like the guy if you.
Mike Wright
That's. That's my favorite wide receiver pickup of the week.
Andy Holloway
It was a quarterback there in Washington. That makes him the more attractive option.
Mike Wright
Well, and on top of that, Chris Thompson's gone for the season.
Andy Holloway
That's true.
Mike Wright
Who was one of the top pass catching options. I theorize that more targets will be coming for Josh Dachshund. And if you watched the Washington New Orleans game, the breakout was happening. Four for 81. And that was. I think that was all in the first half on seven targets. And those, the targets that they missed were end zone targets. Just barely. I think that he had two possible touchdown that he just.
Jason Moore
It was a.
Mike Wright
Once again just a barely missed connection.
Andy Holloway
Which is going on a couple weeks of having those.
Mike Wright
Sure. But I think that those eventually we know that you still want things returned to the mean Jason swallowed his throat again. You still want to hear.
Jason Moore
You still want to see those happening.
Mike Wright
And so Chris Thompson out, opportunity up and it was the second half. If you game script. Game script had gone completely in favor of Washington just trying to kill the clock. So that's why I think they kind of stopped going to Josh Dachshund. So he's likely my top receiver of this group.
Andy Holloway
Do not sleep in a deeper league on Ryan Grant. I'm telling you. Sure. If Chris Thompson with Pryor out and Thompson out. Ryan Grant has had at least three catches since week six in every single week. Now this past week he had the big touchdown and I realize he's more of a possession guy, but three to five catches a week probably not going.
Jason Moore
To get it done for you though.
Andy Holloway
Three to five in a deeper league. If you're looking for an option, that's all there was a prereq there.
Jason Moore
All right. I would agree with you, Mike, that Josh Dockson is my number one and closely followed by Corey Coleman. It's funny to look back at last year think about. You had the three monster wide receivers that you know, Laquan Treadwell, Josh Doxson, Corey Coleman. These guys are going to be amazing. And they all were worthless busts their rookie year. But now here we stand going into week 12. A year later and it looks like Josh Dachshund and Corey Coleman, really talented wide receivers have the opportunity that you hoped they were going to get last year. So those are the two guys I would, I would absolutely be targeting. But I do put Josh Dockson ahead. He has more time right now, more practice time in the better quarterback, the better offense.
Andy Holloway
Kenny Stills against New England offers some upside of Matt Morris starting Marquis Goodwin coming off the bye week on a bad team. I think he's been forgotten about. I doubt he's owned in your league. And he is playing well. Yes, sir. Yes.
Jason Moore
Voice of Publican doesn't he play the Legion of Boom?
Andy Holloway
He plays the former Legion of Boom.
Mike Wright
As Twitter corrected me when I failed on my joke, I should have called them the Legion of Gloom. But here's the thing. Markey's good when similar to when I was talking up Ty Hilton against the Seahawks. He's the type of receiver who can have success because they are grabby and if they can't, if they miss or whiff on one play, then Goodwin is gone. He will be behind the coverage. And if we're not really sure, do we think it's beathard or. Or do you think that Garoppolo is going to start?
Andy Holloway
I am.
Mike Wright
I haven't heard anything.
Andy Holloway
Probably beathard. But we. Yeah, we're waiting to hear.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Regardless, I do agree Goodwin is sneaky.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he's sneaky and he is the type. And they, you know, if you look at last night's game, they were playing one deep zone safety. That's it. And if you get him moved to one side of the field and get Goodwin running down the other, how interested.
Andy Holloway
Are you in Mike Wallace after the big game? Josh Gordon coming back in a couple weeks? If you're in a redraft league, is Josh Gordon attractive to you at all?
Mike Wright
Hugh Jackson did say it's like Christmas having Josh Gordon at practice.
Andy Holloway
Only in Cleveland would Christmas be like getting back this multi suspended.
Mike Wright
But I was going to say on top of that, I mean they've been all over the place. Reports have been with Josh Gordon, you know, of like, yeah, we're done with him. Maybe we'll hold on to him. Now we're going to trade him. Oh, now it's fantastic that he's back.
Jason Moore
Yeah, we'll see.
Mike Wright
It's. And we're still. Wait, can he play this week or is that next week?
Andy Holloway
No, he cannot.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Jason Moore
It would still be much practicing.
Andy Holloway
He can check in all the boxes.
Jason Moore
It would be only in Deeper leagues if you're, you know, if you've got that two or three flex, you know, 14, 16 team. Leagues where you're scraping at the bottom. That's where I'd be looking for Gordon right now.
Andy Holloway
Paul Richardson led Seattle with targets last night. He's probably out there if you need a spot start. Got San Francisco this week, which makes, you know, a juicy matchup.
Jason Moore
You know, another guy that I said last week I didn't want to forget about this week coming off the buy and it's, you know, a name that isn't big is Russell Shepard. Russell Shepard has been a primary target for Carolina and with Kelvin Benjamin gone.
Andy Holloway
I'm actually changing my tune on it though. Do you want to know why?
Jason Moore
Yeah, I would love to hear it.
Andy Holloway
It just has to do with Greg Olson becoming healthy. I don't know if him returning and what Russell shepherd actually struggling last week has gives me less confidence in him. Do you still have confidence to pick him up? I see all these other options I'd pick up before him.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I mean, he's a guy that I would pick up more as a stash than a start this week. He's got a good matchup against the jets, but you want to see how he's utilized. But he has the, you know, injury has or not injury in this case, trademark has caused the opportunity for Russell Shepard to be a true number two. Cam Newton has looked better as of late, so I would still be willing to pick him up to see if he becomes fantasy relevant.
Mike Wright
Would you rather pick up Russell Shepard, Cooper cup or Jeremy Macklin Cooper Cup.
Jason Moore
Is the guy right now with Robert woods out that I would prefer to pick up.
Andy Holloway
I agree. All right, we're going to talk running back waiver options, get you ready for this week. But before we do, I want to thank today's sponsor. You've heard us talk about them before. Indochino. Andy Holloway
All right, let's talk running back waiver options. There are several out there. We talked about Samaj P Run. He's at the top of the list. No Chris Thompson, no Rob Kelly. He's got the backfield now.
Mike Wright
He's a little banged up.
Andy Holloway
He's banged up. Are you worried about that Samaje? Yeah. No, you're not concerned about it.
Mike Wright
No. 23 carries, 117 yards. Looked great. Washington's offensive line is healing up opportunity. I mean, I love P. Ryan moving through the rest of the season.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he would be my number one pickup. I mean assuming that some of the.
Andy Holloway
Guys through some of the probably owns just so that.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean, so here's a few players. They're probably owned. In fact, most of these guys are owned in about 60 or 70% of leagues. But that means 30 or 40% they're somehow still out there. Alfred Morris is a must own. He's clearly the back.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
Deion Lewis has become the only bankable New England Patriot running back.
Mike Wright
Orleans, Darqua, look for that to change next week, right?
Jason Moore
I mean, possibly, but Orleans, Darqua, since he's taken over that role, he's been a weekly solid play. Alex Collins looks like it's getting to be a two headed backfield for the Baltimore Ravens between Alex Collins and Danny Woodhead. So he's worth picking up. And then finally last week's start of the week, Latavius Murray still out there. And about 40% of that sounded like.
Mike Wright
A car backing up.
Andy Holloway
You know, my sound effects have issues.
Jason Moore
I'm pretty sure that was ping pong. That was a ping pong sound effect. Very nice, Andy. Well done.
Mike Wright
Well, if you're playing pong.
Jason Moore
There it is.
Mike Wright
Oh, now we go to the clock. I'm trying to support you over here. Yeah, there it is.
Andy Holloway
That's more of a racquetball. That's what that is.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I think that's. Yeah. No, no, no, no. He's onto something here.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean I see more JD McKissick in that, but you know, to each their own. So those are the guys. Latavius Murray, Alex Collins, Orleans Darkwood, Dion Lewis, Alfred Morris. A handful of really relevant, startable running backs that are out there in 30 or 40% of leagues. Probably owned. But again, worth just checking it out.
Andy Holloway
New offensive coordinator in Denver, Devonte Booker, C.J. anderson, Jamal Charles, that rotation, we don't know how it's going to look, but Booker had a pretty involved week this past week.
Mike Wright
Yes, he did.
Andy Holloway
So he would be somebody who's unowned, that you could snag if you're desperate, if you need help, especially if you're.
Jason Moore
In a PPR league. I mean, he had six targets, five receptions for 54 yards. You'll be able to play him.
Andy Holloway
How do you guys feel about the Damian Williams, Kenyon Drake situation from a confidence standpoint? Are you Very confident starting Williams every week right now. And would you pick him up?
Mike Wright
No.
Jason Moore
He looked no and yes.
Mike Wright
I'm not confident. I mean, yeah, Damian Williams had a solid game, but I mean that really all happened on two plays and they. At the beginning of the game and then he did practically nothing else. Yeah, that's just concern.
Jason Moore
He certainly needs to be picked up. He's the clear starting running back. He's also the pass catching running back for an NFL team. And so, you know, I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again, he's not good. But when you have that kind of opportunity, he needs to be owned. So I'm not confident. But you must pick him up if you're in any kind of position where you need running back help. But he's behind several other people.
Andy Holloway
So Rex Burkhead, last week he was picked up, didn't really perform for fantasy owners. Would you drop Burkhead in favor of these other options? We've talked about Booker, P. Ryan.
Mike Wright
P. Ryan, certainly Booker, possibly. I'm not out on Rex Burkhead. The fact that he actually was able to get back in the game and do some things.
Andy Holloway
Would you mind playing Burkhead against me in that championship game? If you get there, would you do that for me?
Mike Wright
We'll see. I mean, I have a wealth of riches on that team, so I'm not.
Andy Holloway
Really sure what I'll do. But you've been defeated this year.
Mike Wright
That's very true.
Andy Holloway
Other options. Give me one more of your favorite running back pickups for the week.
Jason Moore
Mine is 100% Danny Woodhead. It would be the name we haven't talked about that I really want. He had six targets, the heart ring. The heart ring himself. He's back. You know, he only, he only had one carry in the game. Right. So that's not what he does. First week back, barely used in the running game, but he had six targets, five receptions. So I think he will take over that role. He's got some great matchups coming on because he is more of a pass catcher than a running back. I'm not too worried about this week against Houston, but later on, I mean, you're talking about fantasy playoffs in the. In the championship week in the semifinals against Cleveland and Indianapolis. I really like Danny Woodhead a lot.
Andy Holloway
And I think he'd be at the top of my list.
Mike Wright
I want to say, what do you do with Corey Clement? Who running back for the Philadelphia Eagles. And I know you can shake your head and say, well, the Usage and all this stuff, but he gets used where it counts. He gets used in the red zone, he gets used in the 10 zone. And the last month, that's a great offense. The last month, he's been a very startable flex play, if not a running.
Jason Moore
Back to that whole situation in Philadelphia is a little disconcerting. I love the offense, I love the offensive line, but you legitimately have a full 3 back utilization. And Kenyan Barner got a touchdown this last week.
Andy Holloway
It's just so hard. Like, if you. That's one of the toughest situations in fantasy football for me is these players that are like, you know, even like Echler, like the past two weeks, Eckler has been very relevant. But the touch totals, you're just counting on big plays or a touchdown. I just feel so unsure. Does a jai, especially with a Jay working into the rotation, like, what does that look like week to week? If they're way out ahead, it seems to be blunt. If they're in the red zone, it seems like it's Clement. If a jai is out there, you know, those other guys aren't. And then Barner stealing a touchdown is. Is crazy. So I just don't have the confidence level, especially in light of these other players that I.
Mike Wright
That's what I'm saying. The confidence is not there.
Andy Holloway
Like, I'd rather have McKissick.
Jason Moore
But the point is, me too. I mean, Smooches is. First of all, Smooches is great. He's got a great nickname. He looks great on the field. He's fantastic for ppr.
Mike Wright
And if you're not into it, My darling Clementine.
Jason Moore
No, no, I'm gonna. I'm gonna reserve my smooches for McKissick.
Andy Holloway
Not your darling Clement.
Jason Moore
You know, also he plays.
Mike Wright
What about San Francisco, this kick your knees up Clement time?
Jason Moore
No, I don't think so.
Mike Wright
Come on.
Andy Holloway
What about the Clement truck?
Mike Wright
You never need a reason Never need a rhyme.
Jason Moore
The wheels are falling off. I don't know. I don't know the reference. Do you know that you don't know.
Mike Wright
Step in Time from Mary Poppins?
Andy Holloway
I'm with you on that one.
Jason Moore
I don't remember it.
Mike Wright
Jason.
Jason Moore
I've seen Mary Poppins.
Mike Wright
No. Be ashamed. Be very ashamed of yourself.
Jason Moore
I live my life that way.
Andy Holloway
Brooke, sing it for us.
Mike Wright
I need a ruling on this one. Judge Giamatti.
Jason Moore
Oh, he's already shaking his head. No ruling.
Mike Wright
Well, the Christmas hater. Whatever. Get out of here.
Andy Holloway
You should know it, Jason.
Jason Moore
Oh, he's shaking his head at me.
Andy Holloway
I Take it back.
Mike Wright
Brooks. You're. You're incredible and very attractive and you're a father.
Jason Moore
So. I literally watch Mary Poppins within the last year.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Does you've watched it within the last year and you don't know step in time?
Jason Moore
Look, there's. There's certain things I don't allocate brain cells to. Apparently that is. That is one a majority of things. If what I was saying was lost in there. McKissick plays San Francisco this week and if he's also utilized more in the running game as we saw the second half of the game. I mean, pretty much play anyone against San Francisco if they're running back.
Mike Wright
See, Andy's now singing it because it's a.
Jason Moore
It's a lovely Diddy. Here's the thing. I'll bet you if you play the song, I'll recognize it.
Mike Wright
Of course you.
Jason Moore
But your stupid version is what I didn't get. I blame you.
Mike Wright
The majority of this room. Got it.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I'm just gonna go under the table real quick. Don't mind me.
Andy Holloway
Tight ends. I like how he can be shamed on this show. For a Mary Poppins reference, welcome. This is why we need more than 35% of the market. How many fantasy shows are giving you Mary Poppins related nicknames for Corey Clement?
Jason Moore
None.
Andy Holloway
I stand to reason none.
Jason Moore
While helping you win.
Andy Holloway
Greg Olson, Vernon Davis, they're the probably owned but must own pickups. Kittle. If he comes back and it's beathard, I like him. If he comes back and it's not beathard, I don't coming off the bye week. And then you've got A.S.J. maybe he's been dropped off the bye week.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
And Tyler Croft. Yeah, Tyler Croft still gets it done.
Mike Wright
And you know Clay, you know who the tomb raider Tyler Croft gets to play Cleveland. Cleveland Browns. I'm going eyebrows right now.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Going eyebrows.
Jason Moore
Yeah. So Vernon Davis against New York. We said every week. Now the New York Giants and the Cleveland Browns play the tight end against them. So that would be Vernon Davis, the tomb raider Tyler Croft.
Mike Wright
Oh, Vernon Davis is giants.
Andy Holloway
You do have Jack Doyle coming off the buy if he's somehow available and you need a player. I know Jason likes Brissette this week.
Jason Moore
And so that would actually be Mike. That's not just Mike. I do like percent hey, where's the.
Andy Holloway
Beef defenses give us some streaming week winning defenses. Guys.
Jason Moore
I'll throw this one out there right off the bat. Kansas City. If by some stupid reason if Nate.
Mike Wright
You need a lot of stupid Things because they're owned in 93% of leagues.
Jason Moore
Sure, but. Well, then start them. I'm just saying, if Nathan Peterman is somehow named the starter, you can bank on six to 12 interceptions.
Mike Wright
Yeah. I would throw out Oakland versus Denver.
Jason Moore
Yep.
Mike Wright
And Brock Osweiler. And a new offense. That remains to be seen. The Bengals get to take on the Browns. We talked about that.
Jason Moore
Cincinnati. Yeah. That's great.
Andy Holloway
My favorite pickup is Carolina. Cincinnati. Because what I want is I want good matchup and good defense. Carolina versus the perfect scenario. So Carolina against the Jets. I don't think the jets are going to get shut out in that game, but Carolina's defense has been playing so well. And then Cincinnati against Cleveland. Turnover machine to show Kaiser is going to be quarterback rest of season. That's what their head coach said.
Mike Wright
Wink, wink.
Andy Holloway
No, they said they want to. They said he deserves to be seen the rest of the season.
Mike Wright
Of course he does, but that doesn't mean they'll do it.
Andy Holloway
Let me just take a moment to pause and just emphasize the importance of your defensive pickup as a fantasy player.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
If you want to win in the playoffs, the difference between thinking ahead about your defense and not thinking ahead could be your entire season on the line. And I. I'm not exaggerating. If you do not plan ahead for your playoff weeks, if you know you're in the playoffs and you aren't planning ahead for those weeks, this is the time of year where in the aforementioned, in our league of record, I got three defenses on my roster right now. My playoff defenses are lined up. They're done. It's over with. I know who I'm playing each and every week because I don't want to take a chance on missing out, having to outbid somebody, or having something just not work out.
Jason Moore
Yeah. And then all of a sudden, your opponent is the one that's getting the great matchup against, you know, the terrible team. I mean, you. You need. Now is the time. I completely, completely agree with you. And sometimes we get told that they, you know, from. From listeners, that they're like, we stress so much in the draft season, you don't ever have two defenses or two tight ends. You don't draft them. But. But you do change that strategy, have multiple defenses. If it's going to make your matchups through the playoffs work.
Andy Holloway
Absolutely. So don't miss out on that opportunity. And by the way, great defenses. You've got the panthers in week 15 taking on the packers who can't score. You got the Bears taking on Cleveland in Week 16 at home. The Bears defense is pretty good. You've got the Eagles, they get the giants in week 15. Take a look at that week 14, 15, 16 schedule. Pick out some of those teams that can't do nothing, that can't move the ball. You're looking at San Francisco, you're looking at Cleveland, you're looking at Denver.
Jason Moore
You know, I'm going to throw the Patriots out there, too, because even though the Patriots were an abomination of a defense to start the year, they have been really good over the last month or so. And in the fantasy playoffs, you've got a matchup against Miami and Buffalo, who. So, you know, if that's Nathan Peterman, points given up.
Andy Holloway
Can't possibly be points given up by the Patriots since Tyron gets injured. Horrific start to the year. The last since week five. 14 points against 17, 7, 13, 16, 8.
Jason Moore
That's. That's so elite.
Andy Holloway
So even though they rank at the bottom of fantasy points given up, it doesn't hurt your defense necessarily to have those yardage numbers there. What matters is that points against and it's been really, really good.
Jason Moore
So put it this way, the fantasy points for the New England Patriots, for the majority of the season, they had 23 fantasy points. Over the last three games, they've had 27. So their defense is getting it done right now.
Andy Holloway
And we've, you know, a lot of people have been like, start everybody against them and then they're disappointed as of the last few. Let's talk quarterbacks.
Jason Moore
Full stream ahead. All right, I take Andy Dalton.
Andy Holloway
Streaming quarterback.
Jason Moore
Dalton is my pick.
Mike Wright
That's a great pick, Jason.
Jason Moore
Thank you, Mike.
Andy Holloway
My streaming quarterback option is Andy Dalton.
Jason Moore
Oh, man.
Andy Holloway
Andy Dalton against the Browns this week. Last time he faced the Browns, he was 286 and 4. Look, you're going to be able to have some success. You're going to have short fields, you're going to have opportunity, and Andy Dalton is a very safe streamer that I have as my streamer this week. Mine, mine, mine.
Mike Wright
Ladies and gentlemen here, if you've seen the video, you'll see me gyrating with laughter over here. We have a pretty strict rule here at the fantasy footballers that you get once a name. You want the name. It. The name. Sorry, you want the name, you got to claim it. In the show. Doc and I had claimed Andy Dalton. Now, my friend here, Andy Holloway, says that he had verbally laid claim to Andy Dalton as the. As his streamer.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Mike Wright
This week, which, you know, that's not the rules. Whatever it's not the rules, but I was a gentleman. I allowed it.
Andy Holloway
He said, no big deal.
Mike Wright
Yeah. So the chuckling was related to that. He literally just copy pasted my argument for Andy Dalton up into his face.
Jason Moore
That's fantastic.
Andy Holloway
I did laugh when I set out, when I mentioned the Browns last game, so.
Mike Wright
Oh.
Andy Holloway
But he did my work for me.
Mike Wright
It's a great pick, Andy Dalton. He's.
Jason Moore
We all. That is truly the streamer that, you know, all three of us would. Would pick if.
Andy Holloway
Just remember, blame all three of us if he. If he cuts down this week and.
Mike Wright
My streamer this week. And this is assuming he clears the concussion protocol, which we all expect him to do. That. That's Jacoby. Where's the beef brisket? Brissette. His nickname is Extended. I didn't mean to do that, but I did.
Andy Holloway
Kobe Brissette.
Mike Wright
He's taken on Tennessee and the Titans. This is what they've done the last three weeks. They allowed four passing touchdowns to Big Ben.
Jason Moore
Okay.
Mike Wright
That's acceptable. However, they allowed two to Andy Dalton. They allowed two to Joe Flacco. Passing touchdowns. That is so. I think that Jacoby Brissette is a perfectly fine stream this week.
Andy Holloway
Tennessee's defense has not been good.
Mike Wright
No.
Jason Moore
Yeah. For me, I'm going with Tyrod Taylor, and I know there's a chance he might not even be the quarterback this week. Now, granted, that didn't stop him from having a very good fantasy output this previous week.
Andy Holloway
So you're just all in, regardless of his status.
Mike Wright
There's no way.
Jason Moore
I feel like all in, regardless of.
Mike Wright
There's no way. If Nathan Peterman is named the start.
Jason Moore
You'Re like, well, you got to start Tyrone.
Mike Wright
I'm playing Tyrone Taylor.
Jason Moore
In truth, I would not, because that would be ridiculous to tell anybody. Plug in a backup and I. If. If he is not named the starter, first of all, shame on you, Sean McDermott. And second of all, I will. I'll tweet out, you know, and say on the show a different streaming option, but I believe he will be the starter because he should be. And if that's the case against Kansas City, they've been a defense giving up plenty of points. The. The weather should be fine, and Tyrod gets it done on the ground.
Andy Holloway
I'm going to throw a really dirty one out there that I have a lot of confidence in. Please, it's a wallpaper expert.
Mike Wright
Oh, no.
Andy Holloway
I expect no Brock Osweiler to have a streamable week this week.
Mike Wright
I don't hate it.
Andy Holloway
Oakland.
Jason Moore
Yeah, they suck.
Andy Holloway
Cannot how many interceptions Brooks, does Oakland's defense have through 10 games?
Jason Moore
Same as I do.
Andy Holloway
Is that right? Yeah, it's zero. Brock Osweiler, with a new offensive coordinator. I think there's opportunity here for two touchdowns, 200 plus yards. I wouldn't be surprised.
Jason Moore
Yeah, Jake Cutler carved him up.
Mike Wright
There's some good streamers in here. Yeah, exactly. Jay Cutler. That's why I had faith last week, because Oakland made him look so good. Case Kingdom against Detroit was very in consideration for me as well as a streamer.
Andy Holloway
And I'll throw a guy out there Thanksgiving.
Jason Moore
He is not. He's owned still in the majority of leagues, but about 40% of leagues he's available. Philip Rivers has been playing some good football if he keeps laser targeting Keenan.
Mike Wright
Oh, please.
Jason Moore
Another good option.
Andy Holloway
Keep in mind the Chargers and the Raiders are only two games behind Kansas City, who is kind of free falling right now. That division. Obviously the winner makes the playoffs, so it's possible also. Goodness, guys, we have failed our audience.
Mike Wright
Oh, no. What did we do?
Andy Holloway
We have failed 35% of fantasy football players around the world when we did not mention tomorrow's festivities. Oh, my goodness.
Jason Moore
Megalodon.
Andy Holloway
The Megalodon episode is tomorrow. Brooks, there's a lot on tomorrow's show. We've got pump the brakes. We've got every single matchup starts of the week. We've got Daily Dose. We've got some special things happening. We have giveaway. Maybe on the show, maybe not. I don't know. You're gonna need to listen.
Mike Wright
You really.
Andy Holloway
44 minute mark, please go watch Jason on the YouTube channel because he just lost himself inside the Megaloop.
Jason Moore
You won't get lost.
Mike Wright
You will. You will get lost.
Andy Holloway
Tomorrow's episode, very special. Ahead of. Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Mike Wright
Well, because you got to. You got to stretch the stomach, right? People think, well, I'm going to for Thanksgiving.
Andy Holloway
How do you do that with a podcast?
Mike Wright
Because it's Megalodon. It's because Megalodon. I don't know what the question is.
Andy Holloway
Jason looked at me like, duh.
Jason Moore
What are you saying?
Andy Holloway
All right.
Mike Wright
Have you ever consumed a Megalodon?
Andy Holloway
That's true. That's true. You guys make strong.
Mike Wright
You need a nap afterwards.
