They don't fire Jack Del Rio if they don't have their replacement in queue with Gruden.

And look, Jack Del Rio, if you want to maximize your earning potential, the key is to get extended and then get fired the next year.

I mean, it's a much better job if you have a point. Drew Stanton, Jim Caldwell, Goodbye. Yeah, Bill O'Brien is going to stay as the head coach of the Texans. He was rumored to have left.

I think it was strange that there was the rumors of him being kicked out.

Yeah, it didn't. It wasn't. You know, he lost to Sean Watson. He had tons of injuries. He's a good coach, in my opinion. Now, the caveat there is that there's been disagreement between the GM and Bill O'Brien. So that was the concern and why he might have left. Were you going to say something, Jay?

No, I was going to echo your sentiment that he is a good. I mean, I think they were a legitimate super bowl contending team when they had Watson and they had, you know, some of their cornerbacks still healthy. They lost a lot of their important pieces. And I don't think you could fire O'Brien.

Vance Joseph is staying around as well.

He was rumored to possibly cleaned house on assistant coaches.

And then Ted Thompson.

That was really surprising.

Dion Lewis had control the backfield and he had another two touchdowns, one through the air, one on the ground for the second straight week. Seven targets through the air and then 26 carries. Looks like, you know, they need this Dion Lewis to make another super bowl appearance.

Yeah, 133 all purpose yards. He was fantastic.

Dion Lewis, his draft stock next season is going to be very intriguing to see if what people believe that Dion Lewis will be moving into the future for the Patriots because two was it two years ago when before the ACL tear. This is what they did with Dion Lewis and he was absolutely incredible. But if they pair it down to Deion Lewis and Rex Burkhead or maybe it just goes Dion Lewis, James White.

They won't and they can't. They can't pare it down to that number. Those two players and their injury histories and what you had this year. But you're right, the if is fun with those guys because he is talented.

I love Dion Lewis so much. And his draft stock will be too high, whatever it is. It will be probably too high.

Alvin Camara got in the end zone again. Yeah, I'll give him a little bit of credit here because Alvin Camara, unfortunately, his efficiency on these touches, like, you can just praise it, game genie numbers, you know, not sustainable. I just don't know what people want me to just say he's the number one pick in the draft. That's what I'm seeing. But how do you get, you know, nine yards per touch when the rest of the league, you know, when Todd Gurley is at, you know, six and the rest of the league's at four and five. I just don't know how you do that for a whole career. Nobody's ever done that for a whole.

So I think he'll be overdrafted. I'm sorry. But he's great. He's great.

The best comparison for Camara for sustained fantasy production at a lower touch number is Jamal Charles. Jamal Charles from very for many years did not have the touches that the other running backs did. He would be in that 200 range in terms of carries on the year, but he'd still be a top 10 running back. So that's what you're hoping for with Camara. And they kind of remind me of each other a little bit. Latavius Murray, two touchdowns, 20 for 111. Orleans. Darko had the big boy run to start.

I started drafting them on purpose because I like good teams. And when you're on a bad team, it's not that he doesn't have good games, it's that you get games he's game scripted out or they stink so bad they don't cross the 50. But once your goal line opportunities, everything, all your abilities to hedge a game like, like let's say Jordan Howard has a bad game like he did last week and he had a couple goal line touchdowns. Like those opportunities to save a bad week don't exist as much as much with bad teams. Isaiah Cruell ended a very disappointing year, 15 for 21. Lamar Miller as well. Danny Woodhead has not been a factor thus far in Baltimore. That was kind of the worry. You know, you not only had the injury, but you moving teams. You just can't. You can't automatically imbue stats. You cannot do that. Jerick McKinnon, 12 for 44 let you down a little bit. And then Tevin Coleman was no good as well. What was with A.J. green this week? It's been a bad end of the year.

[Andy Holloway]

It certainly has.

I mean, 10 targets, two receptions, but.

I'll take my lumps on DEZ because you know on the season I really thought DEZ was going to have a great season. I was higher on DEZ and the DAC combination the year two, the health and DEZ super disappointed.

You just have to change expectations for Des. That's the adjustment. Having big names on your team past their prime, that doesn't win you fantasy titles. You have to accept new realities for certain players. So if Des Bryant is now a wide receiver two, three guy, that's what he has to be for your team. The unfortunate part is he will not be drafted right where he needs to be drafted because of his name.

Possibly I think he will tumble in drafts but he's also. His off season is very murky. He's already come out or at least there his camp is coming out and saying he's not going to take a pay cut while Dallas will surely want him to take a pay cut and they need to bring in another, another one. They need to bring in a wide receiver one to really help Des or fix the scheme. I don't know. There's a. I don't think Des is done. He's. He's not. He's not the player he used to be.

He'll still be overdrafted because of the name because Des Bryant we had so many years of great success and there will be some rationale. Some things that happen to have a new instance.

The Panthers. Look, it's very simple. They are as good as Cam Newton is playing. And on the season, Cam's had an overall pretty good season, but the last few weeks, Cam has been really poor. And, I mean, I don't think there's any player in the league that is responsible for the same percentage of offense that Cam is to the Panthers. So when Russell Wilson disagrees. Yeah, maybe. But, man, when Cam is air mailing people as he likes to do, it's bad news for the Panthers. That's why I definitely have the Panthers winning this week in the playoffs.

But weeks 15 and 16, you have the week 15 game with four touchdowns and the week 16 game, you know, the championship week with 100 on the ground, 100 through the air. So those were great. Of course, no one could forget week one. Kareem Hunt. I mean, that was such a performance.

That is a straight up honorable mention.

You got a lot of good running backs. Jamal Williams helped people out a lot. So did Alex Collins. Great pickup at the beginning of the year. Chris Thompson was. He was dominant. He was a complete force. And Jerick McKinnon probably has, you know, the longest stretch of the season after Dallin Cook went down. But there are some wide receivers out there. Devin Funches was a guy picked up off of waivers who looked for a stretch like a wide receiver one. And Robbie Anderson. Yeah, and Robbie Anderson. So you got a good list of guys. There was this year. Didn't have the Justin Force set.

The one guy that when you picked up early in those first four weeks of the season, went on forever to the whole stretch. So I'm really curious who wins this?

If Mike Glennon was able to hold the quarterback job for the Chicago Bears, I mean, that's a. That would have been amazing, first of all. But I think if Mike Glennon had held onto, I think Tariq Cohen would have been that guy. Unfortunately, he didn't. He did not.

Yeah, so Todd Gurley obviously came back with a vengeance. DeAndre Hopkins did as well. Cam Newton, he said, hey, remember 2015, I'm still pretty good. Keenan Allen, healthy and with a monster season. And Alex Smith.

[Mike Wright]

Interesting. It's interesting that maybe he should be breaking. I almost feel like he doesn't belong there. You know, he did not been this kind of a player. No, you can't return to relevance.

[Andy Holloway]

But he's been a quarterback one, a fringe quarterback one before, and you can't.

[Mike Wright]

Really like a single game.

[Jason Moore]

And we debated with like, does he belong in the breakout? Does he belong in the comeback? But the breakout is like, okay, you've broken out. This player is going to be great now. But it's like Alex Smith might not be their quarterback.

I won't focus on the selection process and question the select selectors. You guys remember our Alex Smith conversation last year, last offseason, the vanilla. One of our first shows in this in the studio? Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. He picks your kids up on time. Except for this year, he would have.
