Mike Wright
Hey, this is Al Robinson from the Jacksonville Jaguars and you're listening to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast.
Jason Moore
Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast coming to you from Draft.com Studios with your hosts Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Rush.
Andy Holloway
Welcome in one and all. Always a pleasure to join you via the airwaves Digital media. The airwaves, it's just a thing that I've always wanted to say.
Jason Moore
We literally welcome into the show.
Mike Wright
See a transistor.
Jason Moore
You can watch us and listen to us through so many different mediums, but I'm pretty sure airwaves.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Might be literally the only way that you cannot.
Andy Holloway
Incorrect. Incorrect. We are part of the Fantasy Sports Network and that is broadcast on terrestrial radio.
Mike Wright
We're coming in zeros and ones right now.
Andy Holloway
The airwaves we are recording. We've got a wonderful episode. We have some very fun trivia that we're gonna do on the show today and then talk about the answers to the trivia and then we also have the much requested.
Mike Wright
That's the best part of the trivia.
Andy Holloway
Which is the answers. Yeah, well, you were not going to talk about the question so much.
Mike Wright
If you just give questions without answers, then we're a philosophy podcast.
Andy Holloway
Right, Right. Which. And sometimes we do, actually, most of the time we do questions without answers. So I don't know what you're talking about, but we also have a Dynasty Startup segment on the show today. So if you are in a Dynasty league, if you're planning on starting one this year, basically we're going to tackle some of the biggest questions for Dynasty startups. Dynasty is a great format. We love it. We don't. We give most of our attention to redraft leagues and keeper leagues on the show. And so Dynasty is kind of another beast in and of itself, which is super fun. But Brooks has begged us and, you know, we're recording this on his birthday.
Jason Moore
Happy birthday, Brooks.
Andy Holloway
So he asked us for this and this is his gift.
Mike Wright
You sounded like A really sleepy cartoon character.
Andy Holloway
Here's some fun facts about Brooks About Brooks. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, June 6, 1967. Went to Yale University with a Bachelor's in 1989. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
Jason Moore
What did he study at Yale?
Andy Holloway
From what I understand, he actually has a master's. Might have been finance, I'm not sure. But he's married to Elizabeth Cohen and yeah, his. His father, a Bartlett Giamatti. And that's kind of the life and times.
Jason Moore
Very neat. It's always good to get to know you a little bit better, Brooks, and.
Andy Holloway
This is your chance. So happy birthday, Brooks. Thanks, guys. You're welcome.
Mike Wright
Does you mighty have any nominations or Academy Awards?
Andy Holloway
Oh, he most definitely could.
Mike Wright
He's eligible.
Andy Holloway
Let me see. Nominated for best supporting Actor for the film Cinderella Man.
Mike Wright
There. There we go.
Andy Holloway
And that's it.
Mike Wright
I didn't realize we were in the presence of an Academy nominee. Yeah, very impressive.
Andy Holloway
Well, we are. We're Academy nominees, too. The Academy of podcasters. Mike, I'm surprised you didn't remember that. And I just want to point out this Dynasty startup segment, it's for the Foot clan. They were asking tons of Foot clan.
Jason Moore
Were asking for this as opposed to you. Like, you're not wanting people to think you don't know anything about Dynasty and you've been begging for us to teach you.
Andy Holloway
Airways across the. Across the airwaves. We're here for the people.
Jason Moore
Yes, we are.
Andy Holloway
All right, you can follow us on Twitter @ the FF Ballers. I want to jump into the quick question, which is a. It's a PS to the last episode of the show. We talked through the coaching changes. If you didn't listen to that episode, it's a great one. It came out on Tuesday morning and we went through all of the head coaching changes and offensive coordinator changes.
Mike Wright
Or so you thought.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. But we did leave out somewhat intentionally. I'm going to go with that. Joe Philbin, the new offensive coordinator in Green Bay.
Jason Moore
New again.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, yeah. I mean, he's been. He's been around.
Mike Wright
It changes nothing for me. Joe Philbin.
Andy Holloway
That's the summary.
Jason Moore
Yeah, yeah. I mean, we've seen.
Andy Holloway
He's been offensive coordinator for Green Bay.
Jason Moore
Exactly. We know what to expect here. And it's that Aaron Rodgers is very good and he will continue to be good. The offense will do fine. If you look at Philbin as a coordinator, as a head coach and how his offenses have succeeded, I can pretty much tell you his offenses are very good with Aaron Rodgers.
Mike Wright
Aaron Rodgers and I Mean, he's pretty.
Andy Holloway
Much top 10 in points every year as offensive coordinator for green bay from 2007 through 2011. And yeah, like you said, he'll continue to be. His offense was not good in Miami during his head coaching.
Jason Moore
Did he have Aaron Rodgers in Miami?
Andy Holloway
Not to my nose.
Jason Moore
Checking, no.
Andy Holloway
So I think we also found out yesterday, so after the show that the offensive coordinator in Philadelphia is the newly promoted might grow. And I believe they were also interviewing Deuce Staley for that job.
Jason Moore
Deuce Staley was then made the assistant.
Andy Holloway
Head coach, the regional manager.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that's basically what it is. It's actually a step below the offensive coordinator. What is going on there is I, you know, they've promoted someone into the offensive coordinator role, but they're taking a slightly different approach, I think, to the whole coaching sphere and they're grooming these guys up. But it really is. The offense is going to be Doug Peterson. You know that that is his baby. And he's using all of the other coaches to game plan each individual. You know, the wide receivers, the running backs, and then they all come together. He calls the plays. It won't change too much. But I, I do think it's worth noting that there is a lot of change for the Eagles right now with Carson Wentz's health, with offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach, a lot of change happening there. Even Alshon Jeffrey, we found out today, had surgery on his shoulder. So he's going to miss most likely training camp. OTAs. It's a long recovery, so there's going to be a lot of change coming in. I think people might overdraft Eagles based on the fact that they're the super bowl championship and their offense was so good.
Andy Holloway
All right. All right, let's get into the rest of the news.
Jason Moore
News and notes from around the league.
Andy Holloway
Well, I guess we'll start here. Mike, why don't you break this news?
Mike Wright
Merry Krampus to everyone. Doug Martin has been released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jason Moore
Word on the street is the team looking for Doug Martin as far as looking at him in free agency is probably in the XFL or the cfl.
Andy Holloway
Wow, you guys are just pooping all over.
Mike Wright
Yeah, yeah, that's. It's not a kind.
Andy Holloway
All pro running back from 2015.
Mike Wright
He's. He's had a couple good years.
Andy Holloway
He's had a couple.
Mike Wright
Okay, I apologize.
Andy Holloway
Which is what makes the other years.
Mike Wright
So he's had a couple great years. As far as Doug Martin moving forward, I don't know that teams are going to be scrambling for Doug Martin's services, especially with what you would have to pay. I mean you can give them say the veterans minimum, but that still might be more money than they want to commit to an aging running back, 29 years old who has a laundry list of injuries.
Andy Holloway
My money would be that he, he's playing this year.
Mike Wright
I'm not saying it's impossible, just he's not going to be, he's not going to be a hot commodity for free agency.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I think, I think that's accurate. I mean just like you know, Adrian Peterson found a job last year. It took a while, but it took a while. I think you're going to have something similar where he's just a piece of a committee in 2018, the Duke Johnson.
Andy Holloway
Doug Martin, Cleveland Brown committee, maybe. Yeah, we'll see. Who knows? The Dolphins on the first day they could assign the franchise tag to Jarvis Landry which was a bit of a surprise to all of us thinking that Landry may hit free agency. Essentially if he plays under the tag, he's going to be paid $16 million. That would make him the third highest paid receiver behind Antonio Brown for the year. And does Bryant.
Mike Wright
I had a couple people reach out because the show we are welcoming of the new fantasy football player and I had a couple people reaching out. Why don't players like the franchise tag? And the answer is because this is a one year deal. Yes, it's all guaranteed money. You're going to get paid handsomely for this season. But if you suffer any kind of career ending or just a career altering injury, the future of your ability to make money is completely in shambles. So you want that long term contract with a high amount of guaranteed money.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, players don't like it too because it's a one way conversation. It's not a negotiation with franchise. It's their thing that gets to sign it. So. Yeah, but they may be angling for a trade with Jarvis Landry and seeing if they can rather than let him go into free agency, one of the better young wide receivers in the NFL, let's franchise tag him and find a destination that maybe will sign him to a long term deal and recoup some draft capital. That's the hope. And if not, you got him for another year.
Mike Wright
Jarvis. Yeah, I think it's a. I was shocked they weren't the rumors where they were not going to franchise Landry. So this, that was the smart play in my opinion.
Andy Holloway
Jason alluded to it earlier, but Alshon Jeffrey had surgery for a torn rotator cuff. Supposedly he had this throughout the entire season, played through it happened in training camp. Yeah. And so the hope is that he'll be ready maybe as soon as the preseason. I would expect him to be ready by then from my knowledge of the history of that type of an injury. This is not a quarterback recovering from a rotator cuff surgery, which I, you know, we saw what Cam Newton try to recover from that and go through that process. So I would hope. I'm not going to downgrade Jeffrey based on this injury myself. Sure, Jason, it sounded like you might.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I might. I do think by week one of NFL action, he should be recovered. And he's a great receiver. So I'm not going to, you know, I'm not going to throw him down my draft board, but I, I will have caution and I'll be paying attention because it is a long.
Mike Wright
There's always caution with Al Shawn.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
His injury history. And then our last bit of news. Someone, someone out there heard my wish from the wishing well segment on Tuesday's show because step one looks like it's in action.
Andy Holloway
There's a Colts reporter, Franklin Gore is.
Mike Wright
Expecting that the Colts will not resign. Frank Gore.
Andy Holloway
So this is part one of you getting Carlo tied in there.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Mike Wright
Although I would take him to Tampa Bay as well.
Andy Holloway
You don't think it's news that they're going to try to trade Trevor Simeon?
Mike Wright
The Broncos? We were discussing this.
Andy Holloway
His name is Franklin.
Jason Moore
This.
Andy Holloway
I love it.
Jason Moore
This just in. Every team is pretty much willing to shop. They're bad quarterbacks. If you want to trade for their quarterbacks that they don't like.
Andy Holloway
Right.
Jason Moore
That they don't want to have be the starter, they're usually available.
Andy Holloway
Yep. Yep. Okay. That's it for the news.
Mike Wright
This wanted to clarify. Yeah, just, I mean, you don't want mysteries out there of what if there's a team that went, man, that Trevor, we would have gone after Simeon if only we knew for sure he was available.
Andy Holloway
All right, we're going to jump into the trivia. This is always fun to do. We're going to tackle a couple of who am I? Questions and then talk about some interesting stats and facts and figures over the last three years. And we're going to talk about some players that dominated during their first two seasons in the league and whether we think that'll continue. But I want to start with these who am I? Questions because I think they're both pretty good. And where's the drop, bro? Thank you.
Mike Wright
Oh, come on now.
Andy Holloway
I forgot your favorite drop of all time.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
I want to play the game.
Andy Holloway
I couldn't get away with it.
Jason Moore
You just saved your.
Mike Wright
I saved you.
Andy Holloway
And Brooks was coming in the integrity of the show.
Mike Wright
Your timeline would have been in flames if you left that one out.
Andy Holloway
People pretty much tolerate everything that comes after that drop just to hear the drop.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
All the rest of this is just the best. Okay. All right. Who am I? You can play along with us from home.
Mike Wright
What just said that struck me as.
Andy Holloway
Funny how trivia works.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
I'm going to try to give them some time is all I'm saying. All right, clue number one. From weeks seven through 17, I was the RB10 in half point per hour. Sorry. Half point per reception leagues.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Andy Holloway
Okay. So from week seven through 17, RB10. All right, there's the groundwork.
Jason Moore
So not Lamar Miller.
Andy Holloway
Got it right. There you go. Elimination. This is a game of guess who. Five different weeks, I was a top 12 running back. That's the same number as Carlos Hyde, Christian McCaffrey, and more than Devonta Freeman, Lamar Miller, and DeMarco Murray. So you can eliminate those five names from your guessing game.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Andy Holloway
All right. So five different weeks, I was the top 12. Do we have any early guess?
Mike Wright
I have my. My guess. How many clues are attached to this name?
Andy Holloway
There are five.
Mike Wright
There are five. Okay. I'll let three come out then, before I launch.
Jason Moore
Yeah, there we go.
Andy Holloway
Just to confirm.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Do you have one too, Jason, or you're just gonna pretend like you have one?
Jason Moore
No, no, I don't. I don't have. I mean, I could guess, but I feel like there's very little information here so far.
Andy Holloway
I went undrafted in most fantasy leagues.
Mike Wright
Okay. That's even better for my guests. All right. Should I get it out there?
Andy Holloway
Sure.
Mike Wright
I'm going with Dion Lewis.
Andy Holloway
You're going with Dion Lewis?
Mike Wright
I'm going with Dion Lewis.
Andy Holloway
Is that correct, Brooks? No, that's not right.
Jason Moore
I'm going to go.
Mike Wright
I thought I was thinking about going.
Jason Moore
It's funny.
Mike Wright
With Dion Lewis, but I. I've got two guys. Not my official answer.
Jason Moore
I've got two guys that I want to. And they're on the same team. Would it be Jerick McKinnon or Latavius Murray after Dalvin Cook went down?
Andy Holloway
Ooh, let's go to the board.
Mike Wright
Oh, is it both of them?
Andy Holloway
It is one of them. Do you want to take a shot? You got a 50. 50 shot here.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Mike Wright
Despite the I get to guess after Jason.
Jason Moore
Strong start from McKinnon. I'm going to go Latavius I'm going.
Mike Wright
Jerick McKinnon.
Andy Holloway
It is Latavius. All right, Murray, we got the final clues that Brooks had put in there where I may hardly, hardly see the field in 2018. And Jason used to love.
Mike Wright
That's the freebie. Yeah, that's like when you're at playing well at Applebee's and then they just.
Jason Moore
Say what the word is. Yeah, that's the fifth. I hope that that's what he's done for all the fifth. The final ones are like, you're an idiot. Here's the answer he has.
Andy Holloway
What's interesting about Latavius Murray is he is the perfect player for all of my league mates to draft. That's how. Well, that's what all those stats mean to me. Because if you're just looking and you're playing with league mates that all they're doing is looking at past season results and the way the season ended. Right. We talk about the impression that the end of the season makes on it, that that would be where you look for the one pick to go off the board before you ever need to take it. Because I'm assuming neither of you guys are very excited about latavius Murray in 2018.
Mike Wright
No, he's a. He's a backup. He's fine to draft at the very end of the draft just in case something happens to Dalvin.
Jason Moore
But, yeah, I know our general strategy during the draft season is to not really draft handcuffs.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
That's what I see Latavius Murray as. So I can't imagine I'll have him going into week one on any of my rosters.
Andy Holloway
All right, let's do a wide receiver. Who am I? Okay. In 2017, I was.
Jason Moore
Have my guess.
Andy Holloway
No, it's not Dwayne Bow. It is not Dwayne Bo. In 2017, I was 10th in targets and 10th in receptions among wide receivers. All right, 10th clue number two. Whoever. I finished as the wide receiver. 20. Okay.
Jason Moore
Not a lot of touchdown.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I mean, that's. That's an extrapolation I would make there. 10th in targets. 10th. And receptions, 20th in fantasy points. No guesses, obviously.
Jason Moore
No, not yet.
Mike Wright
Give it.
Jason Moore
Give me enough.
Andy Holloway
This is the one where I. When I was reviewing these. This is the one that I. This is when I knew. So we'll see how smart you guys are. Clue number three. I had five seasons in a row with a thousand receiving yards.
Mike Wright
Demarius Thomas.
Andy Holloway
No, not in 2017.
Mike Wright
Demarius Thomas.
Jason Moore
I was gonna go. A.J. green.
Andy Holloway
The answer is Demarius Thomas.
Jason Moore
Oh, darn it.
Mike Wright
One to one.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Five straight seasons with a thousand receiving yards. 10th in receptions. 10th and targets. Obviously the low touchdown numbers. The final clues where I haven't missed a game since 2011. And then he threw in. I need Kirk Cousins as clue number five.
Mike Wright
That'll be glorious.
Jason Moore
I forgot the wide receiver 20 because AJ Green was much.
Mike Wright
Yeah, he was one.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
There have been.
Jason Moore
My bad.
Andy Holloway
I think Demarius Thomas is going to be one of the more polarizing fantasy names in the 2018 draft season because you have one. I think one train of thought that fits with some reports that have come out that maybe Denver doesn't think he's the same player anymore. And then you have the argument justified by those stats that he just needs a quarterback and an offense that can put him in the position to take that 10th ranked receptions and 10th ranked targets and you know, be 10th and touchdowns in the league, which he's been much higher before. But then you're a top 12 wide receiver again.
Mike Wright
Yeah. I will still be in on Demarius.
Andy Holloway
Thomas over Emmanuel Sanders.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I think. I mean they're, they're pretty close.
Andy Holloway
What about you, Jay?
Jason Moore
Yeah, I expect Denver to get a quality quarterback this, this offseason and if they do, then I am so defined quality. If they don't qualify Kirk Cousins, Case Keenum, someone kind of that tier.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Jason Moore
And I think if one of those guys were to show up in Denver, Demarys Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders will both be drafted by myself quite frequently.
Mike Wright
My. My one counterpoint to that is I think if they miss out on Kirk Cousins and let's say like the rumor mill right now is the Jets. The jets are going to get Kirk Cousins if that happens. I think that Minnesota franchise is Case Keenum. Actually, we won't know because they would have to tag him right now.
Andy Holloway
No, you don't.
Mike Wright
No.
Jason Moore
You can tag him later.
Mike Wright
Can you?
Jason Moore
Yeah. I mean it's rare what happened with.
Mike Wright
Jarvis usually, but up to free agency, once free agency hits, you will have already have to declare that you're tagging a player.
Jason Moore
Oh, I got.
Mike Wright
So my hypothetical situation here.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. February 20th was the first day for tagging and then the deadline for teams to use that tag is March 6th with right before three agencies, the 12th through the 14th of March.
Mike Wright
Man. So it's gonna be interesting.
Andy Holloway
I don't. I don't think they need. I think they're gonna need to tag.
Mike Wright
Him to take Keenum.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I think they can keep him if they want him. He's got the system the success.
Jason Moore
Right.
Mike Wright
But.
Andy Holloway
But the love.
Mike Wright
But you have the advantage of. Well, let's go one more year. Case Keenum. Can you repeat? Instead of giving him a long term.
Jason Moore
I feel like then they end up just going into the Kirk Cousins situation where you go shoot, we should have signed him to a long term contract maybe years ago.
Mike Wright
Maybe. But maybe that'll want.
Andy Holloway
It'll depend a little on the rumor mill too. With Bradford and Bridgewater. Maybe. Sure.
Jason Moore
Well, before we allow me to win this competition of trivia against Mike, we want to thank today's sponsors, one of which is World of Warships. You've heard us talking about these guys for a while. Andy Holloway
Factual, factual.
Mike Wright
Look, the signatures are always authentic. With Pristine Auction they have hundreds of new things every single day. And the. I would say the best part of us recording this show one day early is I can tell you what jerseys I'm looking at and I'm trying to get because you can't steal them from me.
Andy Holloway
Or can you?
Mike Wright
Well, you. They might be on the shop again tomorrow, but there's an Alvin Camara jersey signed. I know, I'm looking at it.
Andy Holloway
We need one for in here.
Mike Wright
There is an. There is a Adam Thielen right now. The bid is 35 bucks for assigned Adam Thielen jersey. And here are some things that. That went for their final price. Assigned Julian Edelman, Patriots 8 by 10. Photo 66 bucks. Assigned David Johnson jersey, $71. Check it out. P R I S T I n e auction.com. make a completely free account. Let Them know that the fantasy footballers sent you.
Andy Holloway
All right, we're going to jump into some more trivia. This. I love these ones here, by the way, Brooks. So I reviewed these three year leader questions. So you'll see, you'll see what we get into. And what's great about this is Jason made the point on the show, I think, a couple weeks ago just about the power of certain wide receivers. Right. They have the capability of being weak winning guys and how he wants to draft those early because you're not going to find them late in the draft. Here's a question for you guys. See how many you can get. Only four receivers have finished top 15 and receiving yards each of the past three seasons.
Mike Wright
Antonio Brown. Did I get one?
Andy Holloway
You've got.
Mike Wright
That's a point for me. Julio Jones.
Andy Holloway
That is. Yes, that is correct.
Jason Moore
I would go A.J. green.
Mike Wright
No. Yeah, he had the injured season.
Jason Moore
Oh, the injured season.
Andy Holloway
No, just keep. Keep getting the answer wrong with AJ Green.
Jason Moore
That's the only way I can. My man.
Mike Wright
So the top what in yardage?
Andy Holloway
So top 15 in receiving yards each of the past three seasons. You have two of the four. Julio Jones and Brown. That is correct. The real question is this is the hardest one. The fourth one is interesting and very difficult. And I have a hint for you if you need it, but I want to see if you can get it because those three names. Evans, Julio Brown, Locked and loaded.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Is it a future hall of Famer?
Andy Holloway
I would say no.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
I'll let you guys at this point ask a couple questions. I would say.
Mike Wright
All right.
Andy Holloway
Definitely not.
Mike Wright
Do you have any questions?
Jason Moore
I don't have any questions. Is it AJ Green? I'm pretty confident that it's AJ Green right now, but I feel like I already asked. I mean, my mind goes to Hopkins, but I feel like that wouldn't be.
Andy Holloway
It is not surprising. Here's the hint. He played on two teams during that three year span. Ooh, two different teams. Cooks, Brandon, Cooks.
Mike Wright
Wow.
Andy Holloway
So only four receivers have been top 15 receiving yards each of the past three years, and it was Julio, Antonio, Evans and Cooks.
Mike Wright
That's four points for me, right?
Jason Moore
No, that's one point. You won that round.
Andy Holloway
You know who would have been in this group if it weren't for injury would have been Ty Hilton. I've had a lot of qu. Yeah. And I've had a lot of questions about Ty Hilton. People trying to trade Ty Hilton, people being tempted to unload him for pennies on the dollar. And I've kind of been like, Whoa, Right. Just hold on here. You have a really, really good player. If, if you told me, you know, Brandon Cooks or Ty Hilton and Lux back, I'm taking Hilton all day.
Mike Wright
I totally agree with you.
Andy Holloway
So interesting, interesting. Those, those four names. All right. Over the past three seasons, who are the top five running backs in touches so as rushing attempts plus receptions over the past three years. So who do you think the top five are? Obviously that's a big span, especially in the life of running.
Jason Moore
I definitely would put Lev Bell in there. Even with injury and suspension.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Jason Moore
He touches the ball too much.
Andy Holloway
879 touches for Lev Bell. He's number three on that list.
Mike Wright
This is. Did you say past three years?
Andy Holloway
Past three years rushing attempts plus receptions, man.
Mike Wright
Is Todd Gurley in there?
Andy Holloway
He's number one. Todd Gurley's number one over that three year span with 914 touches.
Mike Wright
And we know it's not David Johnson because he's an entire.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I think you're going to get at least one more of these.
Mike Wright
Oh, Shady McCoy.
Jason Moore
Yeah, Shady McCoy.
Mike Wright
No, DeMarco.
Jason Moore
Not there.
Andy Holloway
That's a good guess. It's not DeMarco. No. Which I mean he had the resurgent year, but you had the down year before it. So I'm thinking.
Mike Wright
Past three years.
Jason Moore
Three years.
Andy Holloway
We talked about one of the two on the show already today. He is probably being released this offseason.
Jason Moore
Really?
Andy Holloway
Wow. Franklin, Frank Gore was number two in that span.
Mike Wright
Yeah, of course that makes, that makes a ton.
Andy Holloway
And then number five on the list is. I can give you another guess, but I can give you a hint as well.
Jason Moore
Yeah, give me a hint.
Andy Holloway
The hint is that every time he does something good in life, you give Mike a funny look, you lower your, lower your glasses and you glance at him.
Mike Wright
I wasn't sure because of, because of the injury history, but he does get the ball a lot.
Andy Holloway
Gordon is always. He has more games played than he has perceived games played. That's, that's the truth of Melvin Gordon's career. You always. Because of the, I think because of the like Marshawn lynch esque practice reports you hear about all last year. You think he doesn't play, but he, he plays well.
Mike Wright
That was his first full season, right.
Andy Holloway
Gurley, Gore, Bell, McCoy and Gordon.
Mike Wright
13 games. 11 games. So to have played that and be that high up in the touch ranking, I mean he is, his workload is undeniable.
Jason Moore
I know.
Andy Holloway
I'll just give you these stats. I won't quiz you on them, but the same question over the past five years. Number one becomes LaShawn McCoy. Number two becomes Love Bell. Three is DeMarco Murray. As you brought up Jason Frank Gore. And then Matt Forte.
Mike Wright
Oh, man.
Andy Holloway
Matt Forte. So vintage.
Jason Moore
Matt Forte was actually going to be my guess there because I, you know, we forget how involved he. He's been his whole career because of this past season and a half.
Andy Holloway
Okay. If you just broke it down by running backs with rushing yards only. So top five in rushing yards over the past three years, how would you. Who do you think be in there?
Mike Wright
Say that again.
Andy Holloway
So top five running backs in rushing yards the past three season.
Mike Wright
Gurley.
Andy Holloway
Gurley's number two.
Mike Wright
McCoy would be in there as well.
Andy Holloway
McCoy's number one. Bell's number three.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I was going to say, I still think Bell would be the usual suspect.
Andy Holloway
And then Gore's number five. But we have a new entrant.
Jason Moore
Oh.
Andy Holloway
At number four.
Mike Wright
So in the past three years.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, past three years. Top five in.
Mike Wright
Rushing yards past.
Jason Moore
Zeke's missed too many games.
Andy Holloway
3,000 yards on the dot.
Jason Moore
Wow.
Mike Wright
Wow.
Andy Holloway
And he plays for Falcons. The Falcons.
Mike Wright
Freeman.
Andy Holloway
Devonta Freeman. Yes. Yeah. Well done.
Mike Wright
Thank you.
Andy Holloway
Devonta Freeman led fourth in the league in rushing over the past three years. If here. This one's great. Let's. Let's do this one, and then I'll circle back to some. Some different trivia, and then we'll get into the dynasty stuff. Top five running backs in receiving yards over the past three seasons.
Jason Moore
Lev Bell.
Mike Wright
Yes. Number one.
Andy Holloway
He's number three.
Mike Wright
In the past how many?
Jason Moore
Five years.
Andy Holloway
Three seasons.
Mike Wright
Three seasons. Past three seasons.
Andy Holloway
If you look at the past five seasons, he's number one.
Jason Moore
Right?
Andy Holloway
He's number one past three seasons.
Mike Wright
Oh, man. The past three seasons. Ingram.
Andy Holloway
No.
Jason Moore
That's a good guess. I see. I'm thinking. How far down do you go? Do you go with the theoretic type guys?
Andy Holloway
You probably should.
Jason Moore
Theo riddick.
Andy Holloway
He's number two.
Jason Moore
There you go.
Mike Wright
Wait.
Andy Holloway
1512. And you know who. Duke Johnson. Yeah. You're gonna bring up Duke Johnson. He was number one.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
With 1741 receiving yards, which is impressive.
Mike Wright
How many have we gotten there?
Andy Holloway
That's three. So you have Duke's number one, Theo's number two, Lev Bell's number three. Number four, McCoy. Now, McCoy is not in.
Mike Wright
He's not in that list. Wow, that's shocking.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I'm actually a little surprised. Shocking about number. About number four, actually, because he missed the. Nearly the entirety of last year. And you like to sing his name.
Mike Wright
Oh, David Johnson. He was that Johnson.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. 1403 rushing yards in that time span. And then the last one. Loves playing in the Super Bowl. Loves it. Loves playing well in the Super Bowl.
Jason Moore
Oh, James White.
Andy Holloway
James White. James White is Super bowl machine sneaking in there. But yeah, if you break it out over the past five years, it's love. Bell, Matt Forte, Gio Bernard, Darren Sprols, and then Theo Riddick. I think that's kind of impressive for Theo Riddick to be top five in receiving yards over a five year span.
Mike Wright
Yeah, he's great at that role.
Andy Holloway
He is. He's good at doing exactly that.
Mike Wright
They could just get a grinder in there.
Andy Holloway
All right, we're going to jump into dynasty stuff. I'm going to give you two more quick trivia questions.
Jason Moore
Excellent.
Andy Holloway
Jordan Howard topped 1,000 rushing yards in both of the first. Both of his first two seasons. There are five running backs still in the NFL who have done that in their first two seasons.
Mike Wright
Oh, man.
Andy Holloway
Who are they?
Jason Moore
AP and Matt Forte have to be in that list.
Mike Wright
Peterson for sure.
Andy Holloway
Peterson is in that list. Matt Forte is not.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Really?
Mike Wright
I don't know if he won a thousand his rookie year.
Andy Holloway
I don't believe he did well actually.
Jason Moore
What would have been his sophomore year.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I think he did it as rookie year.
Mike Wright
That was back.
Andy Holloway
But not his second year when Matt.
Mike Wright
Forte was, quote, injury prone.
Andy Holloway
Right, right.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
When the narrative was that the injury.
Jason Moore
Prone tag makes me think it's not Frank Gore either because early in his career he had injuries. So the first two seasons. Thousand yards in both.
Andy Holloway
I'm too busy looking at. Yeah, 929 in year two for Matt Forte. Okay, so number one is Adrian Peterson.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Okay, so these are five still in the NFL as of the 2017 season. So.
Jason Moore
Oh, so you're saying someone might be gone.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I would, I would say that one of them is definitely gone by now. Let's put it this way. Here's a hint. The most recent to do that was a rookie in 2013. Oh, so it's actually been a while, man.
Mike Wright
I'm drawing, I'm drawing blanks here.
Andy Holloway
Then Eddie Lacey.
Mike Wright
Oh, yeah.
Andy Holloway
Was a rookie in 2013.
Jason Moore
Dynasty. Sweetheart.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
He's going to be so good forever.
Andy Holloway
Not exactly. Before him, Alfred Morris. 2012 and 2013. And then before him, Chris Johnson and Marshawn Lynch. Chris Johnson and Marshawn Lynch.
Jason Moore
Makes sense.
Mike Wright
I've moved past them.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. This is a good one, though.
Jason Moore
I'll tell you what, though, the list of like the Alfred Morris type, you know, if Jordan Howard, because you Know goes the route of Alfred Morris.
Mike Wright
Don't. Don't put that on Howard.
Jason Moore
I wouldn't. I wouldn't be shocked.
Andy Holloway
I think Howard's gonna be great this year. I'm all aboard. I love him. All right. In 2016 and 2017, Michael Thomas set the record for receptions for a player in their first two seasons in the league.
Jason Moore
Really?
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
More than Jarvis?
Andy Holloway
196. So which two players are second and third active?
Jason Moore
Jarvis has to be there.
Andy Holloway
Yes, they are both. No, they're both active.
Mike Wright
Jarvis doesn't have to be there.
Jason Moore
Jarvis just set the record for 400 receptions over.
Andy Holloway
Jarvis is there.
Mike Wright
And Beckham.
Andy Holloway
And Beckham. Yeah.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
By the way, Jason, just in case you were curious and wanted to guess, A.J. green was fifth on that list.
Jason Moore
Dang it. Would that have counted as a correct guess?
Andy Holloway
No, it would not have.
Jason Moore
Oh, then I could have said it.
Andy Holloway
Last question, last question. Of the top 10 players in receiving yards for the first two seasons, all time, five of them are still in the NFL.
Mike Wright
Mike Evans.
Andy Holloway
Mike Evans, yes. Odell Beckham, which you already mentioned. Michael Thomas.
Jason Moore
Michael Thomas.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Green.
Andy Holloway
Josh Gordon.
Jason Moore
Really?
Andy Holloway
And then one more.
Mike Wright
It's not A.J. i said A.J.
Jason Moore
Green. I already said it. Jason.
Andy Holloway
Jason with the right answer. It's A.J. i just wanted to get one out there with A.J.
Jason Moore
Tape.
Andy Holloway
All right, you guys want to talk dynasty?
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Teach me, guys. Teach me how to dynasty. All right, well, let's start with the. Let's start by explaining what a basic dynasty league is. We've had, like Brooks said, a lot of questions over the years and over the off season about, you know, what makes a good dynasty league. What makes a dynasty league fun? Sometimes you get people who hear about dynasty leagues, and they go, wow, that's just.
Mike Wright
It's very intimidating.
Andy Holloway
It sounds intimidating, time consuming. And for some people, I think it sounds like it's not fun because there's. The draft is maybe the number one favorite part of leagues, and you don't really deal with the draft in a normal form for a dynasty league unless you're starting it.
Jason Moore
Yeah. So you have your normal redraft leagues that people are used to, where you come together. You draft the team every year. Next year you do the same thing. Then you have, you know, you start inching forward and wanting to keep some of those guys. You get a keeper league where you go, okay, we can keep two guys or three guys from your team every year, and maybe you give up something, maybe you don't. The dynasty leagues are. You're a general manager. You Have a startup draft where everybody's drafted. You've got massive, you know, Instead of having 12 or 15 players on your team, you've got 25 or 35 players on your team and you keep every single one, one, usually forever until you trade them or cut them or decide what to do with your assets. And then each year you will have a draft for just rookies. Usually where you know, the incoming. After the NFL draft happens, you get together and you know, have three rounds or four rounds and you draft those guys. And so you've got to really think long term. You've got to build to win now because you can't win a championship ever if you aren't somewhat in win now mode. And but you also can't ignore the fact that if all your great players are the Jordy Nelson's of the world and the Tom Brady's that around the corner you better have, you know, some young guns waiting for their chance.
Mike Wright
I would say for the people that you are concerned about, you know, it's not as fun because of the draft process. I think that a dynasty league and redraft leagues, they complement each other extremely well because those who are in Dynasty, you know when is exciting right now the rookie fever is already starting to hit. The underwear Olympics are just going to spread the flames as we watch the combine.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Mike Wright
Oh, that's what you've never heard it called that? No. Oh yes.
Andy Holloway
No, I was, I wasn't picturing that.
Mike Wright
Well, I mean you're watching young, young fellows parade around in their underpants, but.
Andy Holloway
You, are you sure you've watched the combine?
Jason Moore
I don't think they're.
Andy Holloway
Have you been on a different channel?
Mike Wright
It's on, it's up in the 7 hundreds.
Andy Holloway
Right, right, right.
Jason Moore
So you say this, you pay like midnight, right? It does airs live at midnight.
Mike Wright
Back at my parents house, it just came in all blurry on Cinemax. I couldn't get the reception right.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Well, so while you're watching, I've just.
Andy Holloway
Gotten myself up cost 19.99amonth to see the combine.
Mike Wright
So you're learning about these rookies, you're getting excited for them. So people were in Dynasty.
Jason Moore
They knew.
Mike Wright
They knew that Kareem Hunt had a great chance to be amazing. They knew who Alvin Camaro was. I mean, yes, everyone in Redraft eventually knows who Leonard Fournette is, Christian McCaffrey because they're drafted in the first round. But you get these later running backs who you learn about them in Dynasty. You learn who's going to Be a good player. They've moved into a great opportunity. So I think that just helps overall with your redraft when you're looking at which rookies do you want to take the. The gamble on?
Jason Moore
Yeah, certainly.
Andy Holloway
And I'm gonna.
Jason Moore
It's a fun. It's a fun.
Andy Holloway
I'm gonna pull us back and we'll walk more into strategy. But I want to make sure we're hitting kind of some of the FAQ type of questions here. Things like this one. Is there an optimal time to start a dynasty league? You do it after the super bowl or before or after the NFL draft or right now. What do you do?
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean, as far as starting, you get together with your friends at any point in time and decide you're going to do it. So right now.
Mike Wright
But when is, when is your optimal.
Andy Holloway
Time to do it? Not how to get together with your friend.
Jason Moore
No, I'm saying like right now is an optimal time to start gathering the people. Go to footclan leagues.com if you want to find people, people in your area or people online, you know, and get together. As far as. But I wouldn't start up the league now because I think the optimal time for that is after the NFL draft. You've had some free agency. You now know where the rookies are drafted. That impacts so many other people. Because your startup draft, are you defining.
Andy Holloway
When to draft or when to start your league? Because you can start your league now. Yes, you're talking about when to draft.
Jason Moore
Now is the perfect time to start a league. When to draft. And actually, I mean, I see that as I see your draft as the real start of the league in the sense that you don't have a team or players or anything until that moment. But I would wait until after the NFL draft to do your startup, because the startup draft in a dynasty, it's going to affect the next 10 years. And so you don't want to just accidentally not know that so and so is going to be drafted by this team. And then.
Andy Holloway
So in summary, the time is after the NFL draft to do your dynasty draft.
Jason Moore
Yes, do the draft.
Mike Wright
But like Jason's saying, you can get things started right now. Define what the league is, get your scoring system intact. Half point PPR is the preferred scoring format for us.
Andy Holloway
But things like required.
Mike Wright
No, no, no, of course it's not required. But figure out what's the starting roster look like in our dynasty league because you have these huge rosters. We have one quarterback, two running back, two wide receiver, a tight end. But we have two flex.
Jason Moore
Two flex and no kicker and no defense.
Mike Wright
And we also made the decision to go no kicker, no defense. Now that's. You can have those.
Andy Holloway
We have 16 bench spots and two IR spots to complete the roster there.
Mike Wright
Sure. So if you're getting all those things worked out, I think that's the commissioner right now.
Andy Holloway
The commissioner of a dynasty league needs to be on top of things.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
That's one of the things. It is more demanding to be the commissioner of a dynasty league than it is to be the commissioner of a redraft league. Right?
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
There's a lot more to keep track of. There's a lot more to organize. And obviously your draft is going to be much longer. From an owner's perspective, it does take more dedication to be the member. To be a member of a dynasty league.
Jason Moore
And that. I think that's why it's probably the most important part of starting a dynasty league is who you start it with. You know, if you don't have, you know, enough people that want to actually be committed to a dynasty league, that's tough to start one up with three or four guys, they're like, yeah, I'll try that out. I'm, you know, I might. But again, you know, FootClanLeagues.com we made that so that people can come together and we've got resources there as well. For instance, Andy, you talk about tracking things so you can play on different platforms.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Let's go to that question. What platforms do you prefer if you're going to start a dynasty league tomorrow?
Jason Moore
Right. I prefer espn.
Mike Wright
We just. We play on ESPN because that's the system we know we're used to. It's intuitive for us. So we just kept our dynasty league on there.
Jason Moore
Yeah. The problem you run into there is that there is the off season and the, the draft picks and the trading of draft picks and future assets that are not tracked in espn. So you have to have a way to track that kind of off platform. We have a tool that we've made kind of a Google sheet, and we have that@footclanleagues.com that you can kind of take a look there, or you can go with a platform that is made for Dynasty, made to be extraordinarily customizable. Like my fantasy league, they do everything you can imagine, but it's. It's much more.
Mike Wright
You have to learn how to use their system. So that's. That's the deal with, with sites that are really made for Dynasty. They have to have everything customizable so there's just, there's a lot more legwork and the learning curve is much higher.
Andy Holloway
Startup Rookie Draft Questions in year one, you do the startup draft and then how have we done the rookie drafts over the years?
Mike Wright
So the two main ways are you do the startup draft, you know, it's. You define how big your roster is, what your starting roster is. So it's maybe 30 rounds or so. And then just as a group, you decide do you want the rookies already in the startup draft? Because that changes things that players like this year's running, like Saquon Barkley, he will go probably at the back of the first, early second, maybe even earlier if he lands in a really great destination. So you can do it that way with all the rookies involved. I've done both of these ways, which the second way being just veterans. And then you inverse the draft order and you have a rookie draft. So I don't think one is necessarily better than the other if it's up to what your group wants to go with.
Andy Holloway
When we did our startup, we had a random draft order and then we reversed that order for the rookie draft portion. Right after year one, we no longer did a snake draft and we just did opposite order of final standings for the next year's rookie.
Jason Moore
If it's good enough for the NFL, it's good enough for me.
Mike Wright
Sure.
Andy Holloway
I'm not sure who you were right there. I'm trying to place it.
Jason Moore
Just me, man. Just me.
Andy Holloway
And so yeah, the ultimate draft kit will have the Rookie rankings for 2018 in there as well before it even releases off season waivers. Talk about in season versus off season fab or free agent acquisition budget.
Mike Wright
I'll say this, if you're in a dynasty league, you have to use the the free agent budget. Please do not do a dynasty league with a waiver priority. You need to give everyone a chance because the waivers are so barren and.
Andy Holloway
The ownership is permanent.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it's so barren. You need to give everyone an equal shot to grab a new player. I meant our dynasty league. The way it works right now is when the league year starts, or I should say after the NFL draft, everyone's given their fab budget. That's all you have for the entire calendar year. In my other dynasty league we play you have an off season budget and once in season hits, it's reset once again.
Jason Moore
So there's.
Mike Wright
There's two options for that and I prefer having the multiple budgets, an off season and an in season budget.
Andy Holloway
Couple other questions that have come in from Listeners, number one, how do you integrate new players if somebody was to quit a dynasty league?
Mike Wright
Yeah. You have an orphan league is what they refer to it as. And you just.
Jason Moore
Orphan team. Yeah, yeah. I mean, you have to. Usually you inherit that team and usually when you're inheriting an orphan team, they're not great because people with just an unbelievable roster and they're so talented they can win the championship don't usually bail on that league. They wait a couple years. So, you know, but that's, that's part of the fun is coming into a situation where you've got to figure out, how do I make this over? How do I, what, what great asset do I trade for a bunch of youth or, or you know, what veterans can I steal for cheap? You know, there's, there's.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I would throw in another Commish Tip. Don't restrict transactions in dynasty leagues. Oh, no, some leagues, I think by default, for whatever reason, maybe because they're in the setup options of the league. You kind of see the question that says, how many do you allow unlimited transactions or this many? And you approach the question that you never would have thought of approaching just because it's in the settings. But allow people, especially in a dynasty league, to make as many transactions as they want to. When you're in a dynasty league, it's all about that. It's all about making transactions, trying to see the future, trying to act like a general manager in much more of a real sense than a regular redrafter keeper league.
Mike Wright
Now you have the question of, let's say your roster is full and now you're doing the rookie draft, you have these new players. How do you handle that? I mean, simple. You, you have to make cuts. Every rookie draft season, you have to make cuts to your roster. You, generally speaking, when you have a team of 25 to 30 NFL players, you have some guys that you can let go because they're just, they're just sleepers. You're hoping something breaks, right?
Jason Moore
I just put Brett Hundley back on the waivers. So yeah, you got guys you can.
Mike Wright
Let go of or, or you can have what is called a taxi squad. Now what a taxi squad is, it's. You set the number. You know, maybe it's three guys, maybe it's five guys. And these are all players that you draft in the rookie draft. And either when they're in their rookie or sophomore year, they can stay on this taxi squad. Obviously you cannot actually use them in your real starting roster, so you cannot acquire points from these Guys, it just gives you a chance to have a deeper league without having to make make those cuts. You get a longer chance to see.
Jason Moore
If these the Braveheart hold. Yes, you got them.
Mike Wright
You'll see if they develop. And then at any point in the season, if you want to move someone from your taxi squad, then you'll have to make the cut because your active roster can only have the 30 people.
Andy Holloway
So if we were to move a little bit more from a structural commission league setup standpoint and then finish this conversation now with some dynasty strategy, circle back to some of the things Jason was touching on earlier. What are some of the big. Let's say you're joining a league. You've been invited to a dynasty league. This is your first season. I mean, I guess I should be asking myself the question because I'm the dynasty league champion.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
How did you do it in this office? But what do you think are some of the more important things to remember when you're a dynasty owner? And let's only say the things that compared to a redraft league, we're going to spend months and months and months talking about redraft strategy. So what are some things that adjust for a dynasty league?
Jason Moore
I would say the first tip I would give anybody going into a startup draft is running backs are not diamonds. I mean, they do not last forever. Running backs change so quick that you, you know, I go into a redraft league and I think I want running backs my first round, my second round, I want the running backs. No freaking way for me in a dynasty. Do I really want to focus there? Because even, even with a good option, I mean, there's great running backs. They're going to be valuable. Zeke is a great option, but where he's going, I'd rather get a wide receiver that I know I'm going to have seven, eight years who's also great. So that's. That's one thing I think.
Andy Holloway
Well, it's interesting though, because we did reflect on the dynasty landscape in the last three years.
Mike Wright
He's comparing rookie wide receivers, though.
Andy Holloway
What do you mean?
Mike Wright
The rookie running backs have been hitting very quickly.
Andy Holloway
You're saying in general draft pick. I'm sorry, yes. I was referring to rookies specifically recently.
Jason Moore
The running backs that performed better in your startup draft. When you're drafting vets, I mean, yes.
Andy Holloway
Generally you see wide receivers, they take the cake. I mean, the number one draft pick in a dynasty league right now is probably Odell Beckham. Is Beckham or Hopkins or DeAndre Hopkins. Based on Their age and the fact they play the wide receiver position.
Mike Wright
I will say I'm with Jason, that generally in the early rounds of a startup, I'm going wide receiver. But I will not ignore talents like David Johnson and Le'Veon Bell who get that workload where they get the receptions of a wide receiver. So even though that the shelf life for that player will be smaller, it doesn't bother me because I don't overvalue youth.
Jason Moore
That's another huge.
Mike Wright
So do not overvalue youth. In every dynasty, league is going to have one to two owners who love youth. They love the upside and the hope that these rookies are going to bring because in three years when all of their rookies hit and are superstars, their team's going to be unstoppable. Except that's not going to happen. So my actual, my real first tip is play to win. Not just now. Every single year, make moves and try to win because I don't believe in throwing a season. Now, the only exception to that would be maybe you take over an orphan and there's just absolutely no chance and.
Andy Holloway
You go full rebuild.
Mike Wright
You have to rebuild it. I get it then. But if you're in from the beginning, I'm playing to win this year and every year. And people overvalue youth and they let veterans drop if that veteran still has a shelf life of three years. Three years is forever in football.
Jason Moore
Yeah. And then the only, you know, the last major tip that comes to mind.
Andy Holloway
Is don't play me in the title game.
Jason Moore
You do need to know the tip would be play Mike in the title game.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
That's actually great years and you get to be champ if you play Mike. No, it's, it's to pay a little bit of attention to contracts because just like age matters, you know, how many years do they have left at an elite level looking at contracts, players that are going to move, I don't ever think about for redraft because. Or even for keeper leagues. But in a, in a dynasty, I mean, you got to, you've got to pay attention where you go, oh, it looks like Doug Martin will probably get released because they can get out of his money this year. Who's the backup there who might have a chance, you know, to be a starter and you grab a Peyton Barber cheap or, or, you know, something like that. So I would say just pay attention to those type of pieces of news.
Andy Holloway
All right. I want to give you some resources. We brought it up before jointhefoot.com you get access to foot clan leagues, you can find Dynasty owners. We've seen a lot of foot clan listeners find a great group of serious owners, great people where you can, because that's, that's the part that's hard to capture in a regular league. But in a dynasty league, it's essential to being able to function. There's a great article on our website, the fantasy footballers.com to kind of add to some of these overview points. It's written by Corey Evans. It's called An Introduction to Dynasty Fantasy Football. And you can go read that. I highly encourage that. And again, I'll remind you, the ultimate draft kit will have rookie rankings, so that'll help you in those in your rookie draft. Anything you guys want to add before we close things out?
Jason Moore
No. Have fun. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Well, thanks for tuning in.
Mike Wright
Do not be intimidated by Dynasty.
Andy Holloway
It's super fun.
Mike Wright
It's incredibly fun.
Andy Holloway
Grab a call owner if you need.
Mike Wright
To and you'll be good. Draft.com Ballers play some best ball.
Jason Moore

Podcast Information:
The episode kicks off with the hosts gearing up for a lively session covering trivia, dynasty league strategies, and recent NFL player updates. Andy Holloway sets the stage by briefly mentioning their "Ultimate Draft Kit" available for preorder, but the main content swiftly transitions to the core discussions.
Andy Holloway [00:00]: "Check out ultimate draft kit.com... You will not regret it."
