Jason Moore
Welcome to the show. It is Tuesday, April 14th. We are the fantasy footballers back again. How'd you do last week? How'd your team do? What team had your fantasy football team do?
Andy Holloway
Oh, we're making moves. We are negotiating some trades.
Jason Moore
So you actually are. That's the funny thing. Yeah, Our dynasty league just became a little more active this week. We got our draft board set up.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, we're. We are in the. The scheduled allowed tampering portion of our.
Jason Moore
Because we. Yeah, we should say that we. We don't allow trade. So it's a keeper league. It's not a dynasty league. It's called. Anyway. Yeah, it's a keeper league. And so we have three keepers per team and we have a deadline when you have to lock in your keepers and you can't make trades until those are locked in.
Andy Holloway
Right.
Jason Moore
So right now you can make hypothetical offers and hypothetical acceptances until the time.
Andy Holloway
It comes based on. Well, because who I keep may depend on if a deal is. The interest level is talked about between friends of. Maybe something could happen if this guy was on my team. I don't. I mean, who knows?
Jason Moore
I know. Welcome to the show. This is Andy Holloway joined by Mike the fantasy hitman. Right. And Jason hasn't even said a word. Hello, Jason.
Mike Wright
Pulling up a bunch of docs. I was in panic mode. I'm with you. I'm with everybody. I'm here.
Jason Moore
We got a good show today.
Andy Holloway
We do.
Jason Moore
It is Tuesday and the NFL draft is approaching swiftly.
Mike Wright
It's like what, two, two and a half weeks away.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Yeah. So we're definitely going to do a show with some draft preview chatter. I think that will be the one on Tuesday of next week.
Andy Holloway
Sure.
Jason Moore
But people need to know, to change.
Mike Wright
To know about these rookies coming in.
Jason Moore
Yeah. And we had some questions. I don't know if we're going to get to them. Today we had some questions on Amari Cooper, got some news on Melvin Gordon, things like that. So we'll talk about some of those rookies. If you want to follow us on the web, Visit our website, www.the fantasy footballers.com.
Andy Holloway
Why'D you go slow on the part that people know?
Jason Moore
Isn't the WW the most important part?
Mike Wright
I think the most important part.
Jason Moore
T H E it's the Fantasy footballers dot com. You can follow us on Twitter the ffballers and you can subscribe to us on itunes. Listen to us on Stitcher. We're everywhere. Wherever where you want to be. Wait, did I just break a copyright or something?
Andy Holloway
No, no, we're good. I checked with legal and everything was, was a. Okay.
Jason Moore
Anything exciting going on? And.
Andy Holloway
Well, clearly Sunday people, Sunday Thrones. There was some magic on the television screen.
Jason Moore
Mother of Dragons.
Andy Holloway
And I just, I thought I would share a quick story. Now, luckily this was not this particular Sunday. This is Sunday's past. So the wife and I, Sunday Thrones night has become a big date night. We put the kids to sleep, I go out and I buy just the absolute junk, crappiest fattening food I can find and we gorge and then we watch Thrones.
Mike Wright
So very healthy.
Andy Holloway
So a season ago I get everything set. I had to set it up on the DVR because it wasn't ready. I set it up on the east, the HBO east feed because just in case I can. Yeah, early as possible.
Jason Moore
I do the same thing.
Andy Holloway
Get the kids to bed at 3pm.
Mike Wright
Get the kids to bed.
Jason Moore
Right, right.
Andy Holloway
I go out, I get, I load up, I think with some in and out or something. Get home, get all set up. I got the food, I got the spread ready. Fire it up. I recorded it in Spanish.
Mike Wright
Oh no.
Jason Moore
So what do you do then?
Andy Holloway
You eat the food, you drown your sorrows and tears and you're in and out and then you wait it out and luckily there wasn't. We caught a later version of it a few hours later.
Jason Moore
But dude, that first word out of their mouth.
Andy Holloway
Oh well, when they. Yeah, when they. If there's the pre show chatter because it records a little early and I'm like, that's, that's kind of weird.
Jason Moore
That's really funny.
Mike Wright
Oh man.
Jason Moore
I don't know if I've said what we're doing today. We're doing some sleepers and breakouts on the show today. We're gonna touch on some news and notes and then we're gonna answer a bunch of mailbag questions and see, see what we can get in there. You can email us mail at the fantasy footballers.com if you want to ask a question yourself. So let's get into it.
Mike Wright
News and notes from around the league.
Jason Moore
I am so excited. We've got our weekly horrible wide receiver signing once again. It's so exciting. I've been waiting for this one too. Michael Crabtree signs with none other than the Oakland Raiders. A one year deal.
Andy Holloway
The Raiders.
Jason Moore
Oh, this makes me laugh. Because of all the places to go to get your value up. A place that hasn't had a thousand yard receiver in 10 years doesn't seem.
Mike Wright
Like the right place. Well, the value that Crabtree is trying to get up is the dollar bills value. And the dollar bills were only nowhere to go but. Yeah, nowhere to go but the Raiders. That's what I said I think last time. Who is the biggest overpaid player? It's whoever goes next to the Raiders because they have to pay.
Andy Holloway
And there was, I heard there was interest from the Ravens and how do you not go to the Trustman, just take a little bit less this year. Maybe reestablish massive value in that. Yeah, the Tressman offense, they just lost.
Mike Wright
Torrey Smith and really needs a wide receiver.
Jason Moore
The Ravens probably offered him like 2.9 million and that was the difference for Mr. Michael Crabtree. I looked this up. His best year, he had a good year Fantasy wise in 2012, which was a while ago. 85 over 1100 yards and nine touchdowns. Last year he only had 68 catches for under 700 yards, four touchdowns. He also had 108 targets to get those 68 catches, which is horrible. Horrible catch percentage. I think he had the drops his last year as well. Not to mention I read he was only in. On like 68% of snaps last year.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, there was that the all throughout the years. Is he hurt? Is he not hurt? And Crabtree was. No, I'm not. I'm not hurt. Why do you think I'm hurt? Because you're not playing.
Jason Moore
You're slow. You're really slow.
Mike Wright
Playing like a bum.
Jason Moore
So Michael Crabtree signs with the Oakland Raiders off to the black hole. I want, I want to like the Raiders because I like Derek Carr and I like Latavius Murray like as both athletes, players and people and men. But man, that's a tough place to play. Another bit of news here. Thought I'd mention. Cowboys are apparently super high on Melvin Gordon. This is fantasy relevant because obviously that offensive line is a beast. Is he a fit for the Cowboys system? Because there's also reports he won't get past the Ravens in the first round.
Andy Holloway
Wow, I have not heard that.
Mike Wright
I think the Ravens are much better landing spot.
Jason Moore
Really?
Mike Wright
Yeah, I do. And not for every, not for every running back. Okay. But obviously everyone would say the Dallas backfield wherever, if you get Gordon or Gurley going there, that that's the best landing spot and the best pairing. And I think we need to be a little careful on that because when you look at the amount of carries DeMarco Murray got, I don't think they're giving that to a running back. But. But here's more. My point is that Dallas is an inside the tackle running team and Gordon is a busted outside, you know, go through big holes. Type of. Type of player that I think in the trustman system with that offensive line. I mean, the holes were wide open for four set last year with his own blocking scheme. Assuming they keep that, I think that that would be a better spot for him and I would love to see Dallas.
Jason Moore
I mean, I know you're a girly guy, but.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I don't know. I like the volume of him going to Dallas because they gave four set some money. He's still going to be the lead back. I was just going to say it's going to be really, really funny to me with all this hype of there's no running backs the first round now there's going to be two this year and nobody will get drafted in the first round.
Jason Moore
Yeah, you're probably right. That's the truth. We'll find out very soon. I'm worried. I like Gordon, you know, I like Gordon a lot. I am a little bit worried that if he went to Dallas in that system that DeMarco Murray thrived in, he'd have some of that Reggie bush disease, that C.J. spiller disease where they. And these guys that average huge yards per carries in college, they come into the NFL and they just think they can get outside.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
And it takes a little while to adjust.
Andy Holloway
Everyone's a lot faster in the NFL.
Jason Moore
Yeah, it changes. Any other news you want to cover? We had some news this morning that Mark Ingram was going to get. Who said that?
Andy Holloway
Mike Triplett, Saints reporter who's a. He's a noteworthy guy and when he says something, it's. It's usually accurate.
Jason Moore
Well, they paid him.
Andy Holloway
And he is predicting 240 touches for Mark Ingram, which. That sounds pretty good to me. I don't know whereabouts he's going to.
Jason Moore
Get drafted yet, but 239 handoffs in one accidental pass.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. And he also said, I think it was 150 touches for Spiller. And the most notable was that Robinson will be just purely a backup.
Jason Moore
Kyrie. Kyrie Robinson, who had more fantasy relevance last year when we didn't really know if Ingram or him.
Mike Wright
Well, I think the value there and the touches of Ingram all goes to Ingram's health. Right. Ingram's had some hard time staying on the field, so you know he'll get those touches if he plays 16 games and if not, then Kyrie matters.
Jason Moore
Also you, Mike, you mentioned the Philip Rivers News. Just the Idea that he doesn't want to play in Los Angeles. He's been public about that. The idea that San Diego might move up to Los Angeles. So he's just going to play out this final year of his deal and maybe move on.
Mike Wright
He's going to Tennessee?
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Then what. I'm a little confused. Does he have a no franchise clause or they just. Is he making this big of a stink about it that the Chargers will say, okay, well, we're not going to do that because he's going to hold out and whatever. But I agree with Jason of what would be just really fun would be a Tennessee Rivers goes to Tennessee for the number two pick. That just. I don't. It's just fun. That would be great.
Mike Wright
I see him playing out this year in San Diego and then going and signing in Tennessee, but yeah, I honestly think that you guys don't think Zach.
Jason Moore
Mettenberger's the next Brady.
Andy Holloway
I like Mettenberger, but Philip Rivers is one of the most dominant quarterbacks.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that was tongue in cheek. I just like it.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
If you're drafted in the sixth round, you're the next Brady. Until you're not. That's just the part I laughed at.
Andy Holloway
John Skelton was the next Tom Brady. You guys remember that guy?
Jason Moore
No.
Mike Wright
So, last piece of breaking news here on our list. People have been asking. Breaking news?
Jason Moore
Yeah, you said it. Drop it.
Mike Wright
People have been asking how you can support the Fantasy Footballers and we now have a partnership with a little company called Amazon. They have a product called Audible, which is fantastic. One of the things we love about it here at the Fantasy Footballers is that all three of us personally use it. And it's an audiobook service.
Andy Holloway
Just people that aren't familiar.
Mike Wright
Yeah, well, obviously if you're listening to a podcast here, you like listening to audio and things like that. So we thought it was a great fit. And so you can go to audibledeal.com that's a U D I B L E audibledeal.com and you can get a free book. Sign up for their service and it is awesome.
Jason Moore
Yeah, it's a no risk trial. You just go there, sign up, you get a free book. If you don't want it, cancel it.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. And you know what?
Jason Moore
Books, that's good stuff.
Andy Holloway
Well, the book is on there is the Matthew Berry Fantasy Life book. I think that's the title. I can't remember, but I've read it. It's a fantastic read. It's all story about how Matthew Berry got where he is. It's got some really funny stuff about other leagues.
Jason Moore
That's what I liked about the book.
Andy Holloway
It's a great read. And you know what? Audibledeal.com go get it for free and it helps us out.
Jason Moore
There you go. So let's go ahead and let's get into our sleepers and breakouts. These guys are going to be values. Values. In your draft, we got five sleepers and five breakouts. We're going to go through today and see if we can. You know, it's early. It's early and some of these might change.
Mike Wright
Well, yeah, because the value. I think what's going to happen is this. If I can just make a bold prediction, we are going to drum up value on these guys because it's awesome and clearly. Right. And then everyone else is going to catch up and then the ADP is going to rise and we'll have to do different values later. But for now, these are great values and this is where you win leagues, right? I mean, you win leagues by getting sleepers and breakouts. You don't win leagues by just.
Jason Moore
I thought you meant when you listened to us, but I guess that's true as well.
Mike Wright
One equals the same number.
Jason Moore
So somebody define a sleeper for me. If you're new to fantasy football or you kind of wonder what we're considering a sleeper to be, go ahead and define that real quick.
Andy Holloway
Sleeper to me is someone taken ninth, may even maybe eighth, but ninth round and later who has potential to be high end fantasy player. There doesn't, doesn't mean they're going to because it's a sleeper for a reason.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
However they, they have the opportunity, possible opportunity and the talent to be high end.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Yeah. So we've got a couple of wide receivers, a couple running backs and a quarterback to mention. First guy on our list is a guy I like a lot. He's one of my sleepers this year and it's devonte Adams. Devonte Adams burst, burst onto the scene a little bit last year for Green Bay. But generally my philosophy with guys like this and with sleepers in general is if you have an immense amount of talent and a good situation, that makes for a great sleeper to me. And that's what devonte Adams is. He actually had, he had some games that were pretty significant in the playoffs last year. He went seven for, I believe, 111 and a touchdown or seven for 117 and a touchdown on 11 targets. He has the best quarterback in the league and he's, he's a guy that you can Draft might get value out of him right away. Kind of like Randall Cobb coming into his second year where you still had, I think James Jones in the mix and you still had Jordy Nelson, but Cobb offered value there. Devonte Adams has a ton of skill. They like him in Green Bay. He had big games and then guess what? Yeah, I know if one guy goes down, he becomes a top tier wide receiver and so Devonte Adams has everything I like and he's going to go late in the draft, if at all.
Mike Wright
He's being drafted right now.
Andy Holloway
He'll be drafted.
Mike Wright
Yeah, he's. He's being drafted with the last pick in the eighth round from ADP numbers. So he's basically late eight early ninth round.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Pick.
Jason Moore
And barring injury, that's where he's going to go to. He's not going to be climbing the board a lot in my opinion.
Mike Wright
He's, he's six foot one.
Jason Moore
Go, go and saw that.
Mike Wright
Go google his, his slam dunk. He does a 360, put the ball under the leg dunk better than Isaiah Ryder did it. I mean he's, I mean honestly, it's like a slam dunk, championship winning dunk and he's a 6 foot 1 football player. He is a freak athlete and on the best offense. I love it.
Andy Holloway
I agree with everything said. The last note I'll give is Ted Thompson is just, he has a historic record of getting wide receivers. So I believe in Thompson when he.
Mike Wright
Takes a wide receiver and, and if you want another video to watch, goodness gracious, go look at that touchdown that he scored on Dallas in the playoffs. He grabs the ball on a little, you know, like a little slant and he jukes the guy. It's like he was in one spot and then immediately he was about five yards to the right on a little hop step and just blows down through. It was one of those plays like it was not a touchdown pass. It was just a short little pass but it became a 40 yard touchdown pass and that's because of talent on that offense.
Jason Moore
Yeah. So Devonta, Devonte Adams is a guy I really like as a sleeper and if you're in that 9 10, 8, 910 round where you're dropping these guys anyway, might as well take a flyer on him. He's my guy. So let's talk about Theo Riddick. He's a guy who's climbed into your sleeper list, Mike, recently. Is that opportunity. What is that? And Theo Riddick's a kind of the scat back for the Detroit Lions.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, it's opportunity. It's, I mean he's the main guy now that Reggie Bush has gone main backup for Joyk Bell now that Reggie Bush is gone. I went and was looking through his numbers. There was essentially five games where he was not used and in the other 11 he averaged four and a half targets a game. So I'm not talking elite level running back, but you're talking about a guy who is very serviceable and can fill in. He had nine yards of reception and the, the sample size, although a little bit small, he, he had the fourth highest passing rating of a running back from Pro Football focus, just behind Le'Veon Lacey and Pierre Thomas. So that's high praise for a guy. And if, as you saw when Reggie Bush was out, they fed Riddick the ball. I mean he double digit target even.
Jason Moore
When he was back. I had Reggie Bush when I watched the games, even when he was back, Riddick was coming in on third downs. He was being targeted in the end zone.
Mike Wright
Last off season before coming into this year in the off season, all of the Detroit Lions staff was high on him. They loved him. And then it was so weird that the season rolls around and he doesn't get any touches or anything. But now, I mean you just, you see that support from the staff and then you see him do what they said he could do. And actually Mike, I think there's three more games in year 11 that he really was not involved in the, in the game at all. So it's really eight games. If you take those eight games, he was on pace for 66 receptions and his utilization, his involvement in the offense, having that offseason is only going to grow. I mean if you get a guy with 70 receptions, that's just, I mean for where you're drafting him here in the 10th round, you're not getting anything near that from, from rounds far higher. So I like this sleeper and we.
Jason Moore
Did a, we did an interview with Pyromaniac last week. Pyromaniac Mo and we know he's really, he's really high on Riddick as well. So he's a great sleeper candidate in an offense that, you know, Mike, I know you're a little bit sour on Joy Bell. I don't know how I feel about that. But there's, you know, Joy Bell's not going to be in that pass catching role and they will have a role for him. So I like that.
Mike Wright
All that being said, know your league, if, if it's a standard scoring and not a ppr, don't, don't draft him. He's not going to. I don't think he's going to get very many carries. He's, he's really a pass catching back. I mean that's his absolute chambering mold. Yeah.
Jason Moore
So, so this next guy I want to talk about, he's a quarterback out of our home state here, but he's climbed into our sleeper list.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Jason Moore
So talk to me about Carson Palmer because he's coming off an acl.
Andy Holloway
Yep. I'm not worried about it.
Jason Moore
But give us, give us the rundown on Carson Palmer. Is he really this, you know, proponent of a, you know, if we're streaming quarterbacks, is he a guy that is a candidate for you or for not.
Andy Holloway
Only stream but guys who I'm targeting in my draft. I don't just stream a quarterback. I wait late as I think I can and still get a guy who has the potential to be in every week. I mean clearly I'd rather have, of course I'd rather have an every week guy. I don't want to do the work. I'm lazy. So when we're talking like an Eli Manning or Carson Palmer. Palmer last year. So I'm going to throw out the ACL game which he still had a very high yardage. He just didn't have touchdowns. But in his five complete games averaged 277 yards and two touchdowns. Those are fantastic numbers. When and when you're talking an entire year that puts them at 4,300 yards, 30 touchdowns. This is a quarterback who you're going to be able to draft the 12th round.
Mike Wright
No, you'll be able to draft Carson Palmer the day after your draft even.
Andy Holloway
So that's what I'm talking about. A guy you can get so late. Those are quarterback one numbers. I believe that would have put him at number seven last year. Now that's not. Oh, he's not Aaron Rodgers. But getting the seventh quarterback when no one else has any idea about it.
Jason Moore
John Brown, Michael Floyd, Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Ellington, A lot of weapons in the passing game for Arizona and a coach that loves to throw the ball.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. A coach who was going to take shots down the field every single game. And for a system where he, where the quarterback is slinging it in those in in all six games yet he had three interceptions. He had learned the system, he was managing the game and he was slinging it around.
Mike Wright
Yeah. This is the perfect definition of a sleeper versus say a breakout someone that we know is going to do it. There's certainly some red flags on Carson Palmer, when he came back from his last knee injury, he didn't play very well that following year. He's a little older now, and so there's definitely reason why he's not being drafted. But you can get him so late. You can literally take him with the last pick in your draft. In almost all leagues, I believe, unless it's two quarterback system or something. And he does have potential, like we just said, to be a top, you know, wide receiver one or wide receiver at 30. At 35, he's transitioning to the slot.
Jason Moore
If you could end up with Eli Manning and Carson Palmer and stream those two in matchups and your risk is low.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, you're good to go.
Jason Moore
Not bad.
Andy Holloway
I was. I'm. I'm all over Palmer this year. The ACL surgery is different. It's. I mean, I would say it's more advanced now than it was back when.
Jason Moore
It was also a clean tear this time. He had a bunch of stuff done last time.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, he. Where he. His knee was just wrecked and this time it's just little pop.
Jason Moore
Just a little ACL there.
Mike Wright
Yeah, just a little. You don't have an acl.
Jason Moore
Hey, now he doesn't need it. He stands in that pocket, ain't moving around. All right, Carson Palmer. So let's go ahead and here's a guy I haven't even heard you talk about, but he's on. On your list, Mike. Danny Woodhead.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Because he had a major injury last year as well.
Andy Holloway
He did.
Jason Moore
So people might have forgotten about him. He's also miniature.
Andy Holloway
Not only did they.
Jason Moore
He's like the micro machine. That's what they should call him.
Andy Holloway
So not only did they forget about him for. For now, this year, they forgot about him when drafting last year. Who. A guy had a monster 2013 season. He finished as the 19th running back in standard and 12th in PPR. He was a running back one. And you know where he got drafted? Five rounds after Gio Bernard and Zach Stacy. How does that happen? When a guy puts up those numbers and there's no reason to believe that he can't put up at least something close to that. And people just. I'm going to draft Zach Stacy.
Jason Moore
We know that Philip Rivers had. He loved Sprouls when he was in that role.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Jason Moore
And he had production value. They like Woodhead the guy. They like Woodhead the player. So maybe people are sleeping on Danny Woodhead.
Andy Holloway
They are. So he was. He's elusive. He had 17 and this is. These are 2013 numbers clearly. But he had 17 broken slash avoided tackles which put him sixth. He had the third most targets on the team with 88 targets. And that's on a team when, that's when Antonio Gates and Allen was breaking out. When Keenan Allen was breaking out with his massive rookie year, he was still getting huge targets. He doesn't get a ton of carries, but when you get his carries and his touches in the passing game, it adds up to great numbers. And like Andy had said, Philip Rivers loves to dump the Danny Woodhead because he's, he's sure handed and he's just so small that he gets these cheap free touchdowns.
Jason Moore
There's a lot of similarities between how Brady's offense has changed and how Rivers offense has changed over the years as well, where both have lost a little bit of their downfield driving strength but they're great, efficient quarterbacks because they make the short throws. So I think that's a great name to bring up. Keep your eye on it. Obviously, if something happens in that backfield.
Andy Holloway
In the draft and Ryan Matthews is gone, by the way.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he is. He is. Right now it's what the Donald Brown, Brandon Oliver, Danny Woodhead show.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
So I think I trust Woodhead from a game to game standpoint more than any of those guys.
Andy Holloway
Worth noting that they gave Donald Brown a good amount of money and before the Danny Woodhead injury he wasn't getting any touches so they gave him money. But they were still, it was still Woodhead getting all those touches.
Jason Moore
So Jason, let's turn to you. Let's talk about one of your guys that you have here. He's a guy we've mentioned on the show before when Andrew Goldwasser of NFL Spin Zone came on, talked to us as a sleeper. Perfect definition of a sleeper right here. Josh Huff, ex Oregon Duck in Chip Kelly's system. What do you like about Josh Huff?
Mike Wright
The things that I like about Josh Huff are the upside is through the roof. The draft pick is in the cellar and that's what you look for late in your draft. You look for guys where, you know, look week three, he might be on the waiver wire, but he also has the actual opportunity and talent. He's a very talented player who didn't get on the field last year. Now Jeremy Macklin leaves, he's on a high power offense, he's a Duck, which is obviously very important for Chip Kelly. And so what we've heard from the Eagles is that they love him. The Eagles have been saying that they think that he is more talented than Jordan Matthews, which I say hold the phone because I love Jordan Matthews so much. But when they love him that much and then they lose their main wide receiver, they need a guy to go out on the outside. I doubt they move Jordan Matthews to the outside. They'll move him around a little bit. But you might have the starting outside receiver for a high power offense who is talented and has the trust of the staff that you can pick up at the very end of a draft. I mean that's, that's what you look for in fantasy football.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, there's going to be I. Unless your league is very well educated. I bet half of them won't even know who he, Josh Huff is when you draft him. You'll get a lot of who in the little chat box or whatever. So the benefits, Josh Huff, all he has to do. Now that Macklin's gone, he's got to beat out Riley Cooper. I think Josh Huff is going to be able to handle that. My concern, my only concern about Huff is he's only 511 and 206 pounds. That's not a very big outside wide receiver. But I think the offense is enough to compensate for that. If you saw the when Macklin would have his big plays, Macklin wasn't going up and stealing a ball from a defender. He was wide open in the middle of the field. Field.
Jason Moore
All right, so those are our five sleepers. We got Devonte Adams, Theo Riddick, Danny Woodhead, Carson Palmer and Josh Huff. You can definitely check the website. We'll be publishing some articles regarding our sleeper picks as the offseason goes on. Let's turn now to breakout candidates. These are guys that had a okay year but we're looking for them to take the leap. Right. So second, you know, a second tier guy moving up into that first tier, a guy that you hadn't heard too much about or maybe was a wide receiver. Three jumps up into that two or one range. So we've identified here. Basically we got three wide receivers we like as potential breakouts as well as a running back and a tight end. So let's touch on Travis Kelce first because we talked a little bit about him last week. If you haven't heard last week's show, we talked our top 10 tight ends and 2/3 of this group here at the Fantasy footballers thought Travis Kelce was our number two guy. Zeus, huge leap for him. What do we like about Travis Kelce? Because I can tell you exactly what I like about Travis Kelce and that is draft day value for where he's going right now.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I'm a huge believer in Travis Kelce. He a lot of people liked in the beginning of last year. Turned out the the Chiefs were strategically strategery entering him slowly back into the offense because he had a to nurse an injury. Anthony Fasano is gone. He's a tremendous run blocker. He's not going to come off the field for that. He In 81 targets, he had 67 catches, 850 yards, five touchdowns, 500 yards after the catch, 417 missed tackles. The guy is a beast. The guy can get it done in all assets of the game and you're going to be able to. You should be able to get this guy in the fourth round.
Mike Wright
Yeah. You need two things from every single fantasy superstar. You need incredible talent and that has to be met with great opportunity. You have to have both of those. You can have a talented guy who's not getting on the field because you know he's a rookie or he's behind somebody and you've got. We know for sure. And if you don't know this then now you know. You don't know. Now you know.
Andy Holloway
I was going with the more you know.
Mike Wright
Thank you. That Travis Kelce is a physically gifted human being and his talent level from a football every aspect of the tight end position he is fantastic at. So you have the talent and last year they didn't give him very much opportunity and he still finished high this year. My favorite thing is Fasano leaving. It just shows that they trust that they are not worried about him. You know, as far as utilizing him and he has so much opportunity to grow and you know we have him finishing exactly where statistically where Jimmy Graham's going to finish and he's going to be going two or three rounds later in the draft.
Jason Moore
Yeah. He's the definition of a breakout at the tight end position. So let's talk a little bit about another guy we like. I know Mike and I do. I don't know what your thoughts are, Jason. Martavis Bryant.
Mike Wright
Love Martavis Bryant.
Jason Moore
Now I know your thoughts.
Andy Holloway
Did you. Did you hear I renamed him?
Jason Moore
Oh, no.
Andy Holloway
Yes. We have a new nickname from Artavis or Bryant because we are big back to the future fans. I'm now calling him Marty McBride.
Jason Moore
Wow.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Martavis Bryant. Marty McBride burst onto the scene. Marty. Marty Bryant. Nice. He split. He basically split snaps with Wheaton last year. So we're betting on him to take more snaps away from him, be more involved in the offense, be consistent in the red zone, move into that. I Mean, what's his ceiling in terms of finishing in fantasy?
Andy Holloway
His ceiling to me is high level wide receiver too. That's his likely his ceiling. The snap count was a, was a difficulty. Bryant didn't, sorry, McBride didn't, he didn't play the first six games of the year. They were, they were really taking their time with the rookie and throughout the year the snap count went up. I don't think Marcus Wheaton is a big threat. The most indicative thing to me is when you look at the snap count of the playoff game. Marty McBride was in on 83% of snaps in the playoffs, which to me says that the Steelers are ready to hand the reins to Bryant to be their second receiver.
Jason Moore
How many receptions do you think he had last year without looking?
Andy Holloway
I'm looking right at it, so I'm not going to play this game. I'm covering the answer for the cheater.
Mike Wright
Jason, without looking, I'm guessing he got 50.
Jason Moore
26. 26. How many touchdowns?
Mike Wright
Oh, I think I know that. Eight.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he had eight touchdowns. So he is a guy who you see Ben look to in the red zone. We love Antonio Brown. Antonio Brown is going to get his, he always does. But Martavis Bryant, 6, 4, 2, 11, he's big and he has separation and speed and so eight touchdowns on limited snaps puts him into that huge breakout candidate where maybe he maybe puts up. I don't think anybody's expecting him to go out there and put up 70, 80 receptions. We're thinking, you know, Vincent Jackson category high touchdowns, 50, 60, 70 reception and a guy who can be a game changer.
Mike Wright
He's 23 years old. Is he six four? But he also had the fastest 40 time at the combine. When you've got a six, four guy.
Jason Moore
Blazing me on who? Randy Moss. Randy Moss.
Mike Wright
No. And then you pair him with Big Ben who has a rocket launcher. You know, I watched some of his just, you know, his go routes, his go routes, it's like, okay, he blows by the guys. And when you know, Big Ben leads him by a mile and he catches up to it and the defenders stop running like that was some of their touchdowns, it's like, okay, I'm not catching.
Jason Moore
This guy over 21 yards of catch. He had a 94 yard touchdown, he had an 80 yard touchdown. He had super long touchdowns in three or four or five games. And obviously that's what his role is on that team. So consistency and snap count will make him consistent in the fantasy world and put you in that top. I mean that's, that'd be huge to be a top tier wide receiver too for where you're going to draft him.
Mike Wright
Yeah. And he's a level headed guy, very intelligent, a pleasure to talk to. He is definitely a guy that I think will be on the field 75% more than he was this last year. So opportunity goes to the.
Andy Holloway
Puts him over 100%. That's some effort.
Mike Wright
75% increase.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Jason Moore
Alan Robinson. Talk to me about Alan Robinson. Another guy on our breakout list. Mike, you can't stop talking about Alan Robinson.
Andy Holloway
I won't stop, Neil. Why? Targets, my man.
Jason Moore
Targets. Sing the song. Alan Robinson song. Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver, second year guy.
Andy Holloway
So Allen Robinson had five or more catches in six of his 10 games. 60 or more yards in six of his 10 games. Seven or more targets in eight of his 10 games. He was on pace for what, what would you guess was his target pace for his 10 games, including a week one where he did nothing?
Jason Moore
Probably about a 110 targets. I don't know, 130. Yeah, that's a lot of targets. That's a, that's wide receiver one.
Andy Holloway
Targets that Blake Bortles loves Alan Robinson. Mike Wright loves Alan Robinson and people are going to want nothing to do with him because he's on the Jacksonville Jaguars. I understand that completely. But.
Jason Moore
Well, touchdowns is going to be his issue, right?
Andy Holloway
Yeah, he only had two touchdowns.
Mike Wright
I. Julius Thomas comes to town.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, but so the touchdowns has to go up at least a little bit. But he's still going to be Bortles number one target.
Jason Moore
And we've seen production from that spot. Yeah, in Jacksonville.
Andy Holloway
I understand it's Jacksonville, but every team has garbage and garbage time counts just as much as regular time. So that's why I'm all over Allen Robinson late in the draft.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I think he's okay. I see him almost more as a sleeper. I mean he's going as the, what is it, the 44th wide receiver off the board right now, going in the hundreds, you know, after the ninth round. So I like his upside in a PPR or his consistency. Really, I don't see an upside here. I see a consistent, you know, if you, you want to plug him in as your wide receiver. Three. I think you're. I was going to say exactly. You're going to be fine with that in a ppr. I don't think his touchdowns are really going to, I mean maybe they increase over 2, but I don't think he's going to have that. And I also, I also think that there's a legitimately good chance that Justin Blackman is back this year. And if that's the case, I don't.
Jason Moore
Think those two games, Robinson, Blackman, actually.
Andy Holloway
Doesn'T concern me with. With what? The rapport that Bortles and Alan Robinson have created together in one year. That's all. That's all it takes. When you come in at the exact same time, you become BFF's man for.
Jason Moore
Life, it's time to strip off your shirt, show off your Jeremy Hill tattoo. Mike, Jeremy Hill is a breakout candidate here. A guy who bursts onto the scene. We've talked about him at length, go back and listen to our running back shows, but we're going to keep talking about him all the way through to the draft because he has everything you want. He has big playability between the tackles. He's tough. He's on an offense that loves to run the ball with a coach that knows how to run the ball. And he produced big numbers in small sample size last year.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, exactly. But the offensive coordinator, his name is Hugh Jackson. Hugh Jackson was the coach when Darren McFadden had a fantastic fantasy year. So Jeremy Hill games with over 15 carries. He averaged five yards per carry. He had over 20 carries five times. Every single time that happened, over 100 yards, 622 yards after contact. I mean, the Gio Bernard between the tackles experiment was a failure from the beginning. I don't know why they were insisting on doing that. I guess it was just, he was the.
Jason Moore
Can't you just love Jeremy Hill without hating Gio Bernard?
Andy Holloway
No, because Gio Bernard.
Jason Moore
Because you traded for Gio Bernard last year and you just can't live with it.
Andy Holloway
Well, I traded some bad. I did not like Gio Bernard. Well, if we're talking about. I was backed into a hole where I needed to make a trade.
Jason Moore
Uh huh.
Andy Holloway
But. So Jeremy Hill is the guy I. He's going to be the guy moving forward. Yes. Gio is going to get his as the, as the gadget guy coming in on some third downs. That's not necessarily Jeremy Hill's forte, although he can catch the ball. You're a guy who can hit the home run, a guy who can grind it out. He can do everything that you want. The, the news out of Cincinnati is they're admitting that they need to run more, which is a shocker for a team that has Andy Dalton. They get to see him every day. How does it take this long to decide maybe we should run a little bit more? Is ridiculous.
Mike Wright
Yeah. The, the upside, it reminds me a lot of Le'Veon Bell, you. He's going into his second year and his utilization is going to go through the roof and his talent is there. I mean that's what you look for is you look for these young guys who are about to explode. You get them at a better value and that's, I mean, Jeremy Hill, these.
Jason Moore
Are all essentially second year guys.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
So I didn't realize that. The last guy on our list is Jarvis Landry. We've talked about him as well. He had 84 receptions last year. We all have him pegged to go over 100 this year. He's got more value in a PPR system. But I think 100 catches, 1,000 plus yards, 5, 6, 7 touchdowns for Jarvis Landry is well within the realm of possibility and he's going to outperform his adp, at least right now. And so Jarvis Landry is another breakout candidate for us. Another second year guy out of lsu, really burst on the scene, has a great rapport with Tannehill. He's the guy that we all love watching. And Mike Wallace is out of the picture there. So we'll see who they bring in. I'm guessing it'll be a Greg Jennings type of guy, a veteran leader type of guy. Not a steal underneath, routes away from him.
Mike Wright
Go google his one handed catches. It looks just like Odell Beckham and they're impressive. They're not like, oh, you know, I mean I can catch a ball with one hand but he's getting these things shot, you know, out of a, out of a cannon. And he's just catching these things as the ball's passing away from him, like he's catching it from the back. Then he takes his glove off and then he does it with bare hand and it's like, okay, this guy's got amazing hands. His talent is incredible. There's a reason Mike Wallace is left the building.
Andy Holloway
Jarvis is a perfect steady part of your team where he, he's not likely going to give you these, these super, super sexy games of like a Des Bryant. That kind of he or Antonio Brown. That's not who he is. He's like Antonio Brown Light is what I would compare him to a him jumping on board with a five catch, 50 yard into that, that talk where we're always going on about Brown, him jumping in there would not surprise me at all. He just, his floor is so high. But the question for Jarvis Landry is the ceiling. But like I said, it's perfect to go with if you want to throw in some boom Bus guys. He's the perfect complement for that.
Mike Wright
Mailbag.
Jason Moore
Had a jittery finger there. My apologies. I was too excited to get into the mailbag section. We have a bunch of questions today. You guys ready for this?
Andy Holloway
Oh, I was born ready.
Jason Moore
Ready to bring value to our listeners.
Andy Holloway
I'm sorry I said that.
Jason Moore
All right, first question comes in via email from Tony. You follow him at. Tony Dolphins fan. Yeah, it was Danza. He has a 12 team league. He's looking to pick basically two keepers, six points per passing TD. I guess the only other bit of information you want to know is he's.
Andy Holloway
Got three wide receivers.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Starts three wide receivers. So here's his keeper options and the corresponding pick he would lose. Justin Forsett, 16th. Jeremy Hill the eighth round. Latavius Murray, the 16th round. Jarvis Landry the 16th round and Devonte Adams, the 16th round round.
Mike Wright
Some guys we talked about today.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that's funny. Three of them. He says he's leaning towards Hill and Murray, but he's curious about our thoughts. Which two guys do it.
Andy Holloway
Really?
Mike Wright
Yes, really. This is so I'm Hillary Murray, you're Hill and Merry. Okay, well, you and me can have fisticuffs later.
Jason Moore
Why is it because of four set?
Mike Wright
This is because of four set. Four set to me in the 16 is incredible value. Now if they go out, why is.
Jason Moore
It incredible value compared to Murray?
Mike Wright
Oh my goodness, they're not.
Andy Holloway
Justin Forset did it last year.
Jason Moore
So did Murray in limited carries.
Mike Wright
No, he had a game where he had two carries and 100,000 yards.
Andy Holloway
Take out his 180 yard run. He was under four yards of carry.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Take out his good place. He's bad. I love that argument in fantasy football.
Andy Holloway
Just one play here, four set.
Mike Wright
I mean, if they go out and they draft Gordon. Okay, then sure, go, go Murray. But here is not that close.
Andy Holloway
Point to a carry, take out the 80 yard.
Jason Moore
You don't take out 80 yard runs. That's ridiculous.
Mike Wright
I do, I do in the sense that.
Jason Moore
Well, that's how you did. You take all Jeremy Hills out when he had 80 yard runs that got him five points carry.
Andy Holloway
You can take out one of them and he still has more.
Mike Wright
Well, when I think the point Mike is making is that if you look at some of the later games where he played the entire game and you know it wasn't actually that quality, then they go out and they get Garbage man Richardson. I'm not speaking the name Voldemort. Yeah, Mr. T. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
I'm saying just do his if you.
Jason Moore
Want upside you go Latavius Murray if you want.
Mike Wright
No. Yes, you do.
Jason Moore
He's got better upside than Justin Forsett.
Mike Wright
I think with Tressman coming in, if they don't draft a rookie. I think with Trespin coming in for set is one of my guys. I'm really high on the miles are not on his tires. He did it last year. He fits Tressman system perfectly. They signed him again. I really.
Jason Moore
Here's what I can tell you, Tony. You definitely want to take Jeremy Hill with that eighth round swap.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Jason Moore
And then depending on your own take on four set. No, no, no. We got. We got to move on. We got three other questions.
Andy Holloway
I have a Murray question for you. What is Murray's upside? Where is the highest Murray can possibly finish?
Jason Moore
In my opinion.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Jason Moore
I think he can finish his NRB1.
Andy Holloway
Where?
Jason Moore
What do you mean where? Like back half of it.
Andy Holloway
Okay. Where did Justin Forset finish last year? Not hype, not hypothetical. What did he actually do?
Jason Moore
I'm guessing six, seven, eight.
Andy Holloway
Eight.
Jason Moore
Okay. Yeah.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Andy Holloway
So I don't. Why would you go with the upside of a guy who could do it as opposed to a guy who just did it?
Jason Moore
Because one's younger and one's older and one's. They're obviously want a different back inside of Baltimore. They didn't overpay for set. They have Talia Farrow. They. They want for. They're going to draft the running back.
Mike Wright
Here's the other reason is because Latavius Murray is being drafted right now. His ADP is around later. So if you. If you got to put one guy in back into the draft, you know, that's another thing you need to consider when you're keeping in a keeper league is that who can you draft when the draft rolls around, you know, so here's simple.
Jason Moore
Thank you, Tony. Thank you for this question because you've walked us into a water bet. Justin for set.
Mike Wright
Oh, Tavius Murray.
Andy Holloway
Oh, do it.
Mike Wright
Oh, yeah. Water bet. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Or that's fine. By the way, my answer is Hill four set.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that's fine. I picked up on that. All right, the second question comes in on Twitter from Austin L. If Dallas starts the year with McFadden, how high do you reach for Randall? I like the way that question was framed and it's so appropriate. So how high do you reach for Joseph Randall? I'm just trying to pick around here.
Mike Wright
So this is assuming no rookie then, right?
Andy Holloway
Yes, that's what he's the same. McFadden's the starter. However, the. The I will answer your Question with this. Well, a thing that people have forgotten is the Cowboys resigned Ryan Williams. Ryan Williams at one time was a second round pick. Now McFadden has the higher overall contract. Ryan Williams has more guaranteed money this year. So that speaks to that. They actually think Ryan Williams has something to offer the team and nobody is talking about him. So that I would watch, watch what happens because maybe Ryan Williams ends up if they don't spend the high pick. It could be ryan Williams and McFadden.
Jason Moore
Yeah. And between that and Joseph Randall has had some off the field issues. Between that and a three headed monster. I guess not very high would be the answer until you see something worse.
Andy Holloway
If it ends up as three headed monster. The Dallas position, I think they can.
Jason Moore
Totally do that too. I mean I agree. What better situation to do that in than that offensive line.
Mike Wright
And I don't think Joseph Randall, if McFadden goes down, I don't think Joseph Randall just goes into that every down back roll.
Jason Moore
He's really good but he's. Yeah, his carry count is not going to be high. This question comes in. Hopefully that helps you a little bit. I think the Ryan Williams perspective is great because you got to remember there are other people in the mix there and they might draft the guy. And so obviously his question presuppose McFadden's the leader. But. But I don't think you reach for Randall.
Andy Holloway
It wouldn't be very high. It would be the normal handcuff.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Area.
Jason Moore
Really?
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Maybe what like seven?
Jason Moore
Well, I wouldn't, I don't put them in a handcuff category.
Andy Holloway
Me either. Randall.
Jason Moore
No, I'd be putting them into like a D Will J Stew past few years situation where Randle and McFadden are. There's no way McFadden takes all the starting carries.
Andy Holloway
Let's, let's assume this question of truth where McFadden's there, going in with him as the guy. Where do you take McFadden?
Mike Wright
Yeah, that's. I was really.
Jason Moore
I take Randall ahead of McFadden.
Andy Holloway
Oh, what really?
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Oh, I would actually. I'm going to throw up here. I think I really would like McFadden. I honestly, if McFadden's in that role, I think I really like him. I've got an IR spot on most of my leagues. So when he's in there I think he's going to be good and I don't think he's going to go that high. So yeah.
Andy Holloway
Fourth McFadden did the opposite of Crabtree going to a place to Reestablish I.
Jason Moore
Do agree with that. I do agree with that. All right, this next question is an email. It comes in from guy who doesn't want to have to keep Sankey, but might have to. If that gives you any indication of what the question is. What are the range of outcomes for Bishop Sankey this year? Boy, Bishop Sankey. Yeah, I wouldn't want to keep him either. He's going between the fifth and the ninth round right now. Average in the eighth from an adp. He had a horrible year. I mean, he, he did his best Trent Richardson impression of just making no impact plays. It was more. Yes, he was 3.7 a carry. Yes, he only scored two touchdowns, but it was no impact plays. Longest run of the year was 22 yards from a rookie that everyone was high on. I mean, does Wizen Hunt just not know how to run the ball?
Andy Holloway
No wizard knows how to running back. Exactly. We, as the Cardinal fans, we have suffered through the years of Ken Wizen Hunt thinking he knows how to draft a running back. We saw him spend a one and a two on busts. I don't trust Wizen Hunt's running back evaluation, so that's why I'm highly skeptical of Sankey going that late. If you take him in the eighth round, I guess that's. That's fine. You might as well take the gamble. But you're talking about a guy whose floor. I wrote up a little bit on Sankey, and I believe I said his floor was a Chuck E. Cheese ticket attendant.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he. He's not. The upside of that offense is gross to me. I just don't like that offense very much.
Mike Wright
And he got enough volume. It's not like, it's not like, oh, well, he'll. He'll have opportunity this year. He had opportunity last year and eventually. Yeah, but I mean, when you get the amount of carries he does and produce at that level, you. You've already seen. You've already seen what you got. And historically for rookies, they can have a bad rookie year and come and be great, but not when they have a rookie year with the volume he had. Historically, when you've got that there, you know what you've got and you've got a bum.
Andy Holloway
Philip. Philip Rivers or Mario to Mariota might change my opinion slightly about.
Jason Moore
You're saying if the, if the. Yeah, if it changes. If there's somebody to keep you honest.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, well, and Philip Rivers likes to dump to the running back and Mariota's. If they know what they're doing, they're gonna have to run some form of a spread offense for him.
Jason Moore
So there's some thoughts on Bishop Sankey. Hopefully your name can change to guy who didn't have to keep Bishop Sankey. Let's say, let's tackle one more from Twitter. This one comes in from Coach P. Jeremy P. Coach P. Yeah, yeah, that's his, that's his hand on there. He's asked us a couple questions. Better investment for Half PPR Auction League. Keep that in mind. One Half PPR Auction League Is a high profile wide receiver or running back, a veteran, a better investment? Their starting lineup starts a quarterback, a running back, a couple RB wide receiver flexes a wide receiver, a wide receiver, tight end, a tight end and a D. I don't know why they only.
Andy Holloway
Have to start one running back.
Jason Moore
Correct. They only have to.
Andy Holloway
Yes. Now for me the. I'm still going to.
Jason Moore
But that's the same with wide receiver. You only have to start one wide receiver too.
Andy Holloway
Right. I'm going to take the high end running back. I'm going to lock up that position. I'm going to make sure I have an advantage there. You can find capable wide receivers. You can find high end wide receivers a little bit later as opposed to the high end running backs. There's just not very many of them.
Mike Wright
Completely agree. Always will agree. I mean what we just talked about today, we talked about some guys that you can get late who could actually be a wide receiver. You know, two, maybe even, you know, I think Martavis Bryant could actually pop up possibly into the one range. But whereas, you know, Jeremy Hill, our breakout running back, he's still being picked like first pick of the second round. I mean you're not getting those guys late. And so yeah, you invest in the running back.
Jason Moore
Completely agree. And what he said there, he said do you want to bid on a high profile guy? If you're going to be facing competition in an auction draft, you might as well be going for the positional advantage for that position scarcity. So go for the running back. Steal away a Jeremy Hill. Steal away a high profile guy.
Mike Wright
Levy on Bell with the. Yeah, I like him. In an auction right now.
Andy Holloway
Well, he's just. Oh yeah, I guess maybe the. Does the suspension drive him down? I don't think it'll do too much. Of the. Of the guys who we think are elite running backs, Hill is likely the one you can get the cheapest. Maybe. Maybe your league right now are listening to us right now and we just blew your cover.
Jason Moore
They're all bidding on Matt Forte. Oh, that's what they're spending their money on.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
All right, so that's it for today's show. Thanks for those questions again. You can email us mail atthe fantasy footballers.com or you can tweet us your questions on Twitter @ the FF Ballers. Let's go ahead and do our review of the week.

Fantasy Football Podcast 2015 - Sleepers, Breakouts, News, Mailbag
Release Date: April 14, 2015
Hosts: Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, Mike "The Fantasy Hitman" Wright
The episode kicks off with the hosts discussing updates from their respective fantasy leagues. Andy Holloway shares that he and Jason Moore are actively negotiating trades and setting up their draft boards in their keeper league, which allows three keepers per team with a trade embargo until keepers are locked in.
Notable Quote:
Jason Moore [00:31]: “We are the fantasy footballers back again. How'd you do last week? How'd your team do?”
With the NFL Draft approaching in approximately two and a half weeks, the hosts delve into various player news and potential impacts on fantasy leagues.
The team discusses Michael Crabtree’s signing with the Oakland Raiders on a one-year deal. Mike Wright humorously critiques the Raiders' ability to utilize Crabtree effectively, highlighting concerns about the team's track record in producing fantasy-relevant wide receivers.
Notable Quote:
Mike Wright [05:08]: “Michael Crabtree signs with none other than the Oakland Raiders. A one-year deal… Who is the biggest overpaid player? It's whoever goes next to the Raiders.”
Jason Moore and Mike Wright explore the possibility of Melvin Gordon joining the Dallas Cowboys, analyzing how his skill set might fit into the Cowboys' offensive system. They weigh the benefits against the potential challenges, including competition with DeMarco Murray and the offensive line's play style.
Notable Quote:
Jason Moore [07:13]: “I'm worried that if he went to Dallas in that system that DeMarco Murray thrived in, he'd have some of that Reggie Bush disease, that C.J. Spiller disease where they just think they can get outside.”

Question from Tony (Dolphins Fan):
Choosing between keepers Jeremy Hill (8th round) and Latavius Murray (16th round) among other options.

Prioritize Jeremy Hill over Latavius Murray due to Hill's proven performance and greater immediate impact.
