I, I really, really enjoy doing right by the people because when I hear that, you know, one of your picks, you know, Jason wins a guy a week, makes me happy. That's why we're here. That's why we're here. So. And actually my quick question for the day has to do with some of those teams that are doing really, really well. So we'll get to that. We have, as Jason said, our starts of the week on this show. Today we've got our fantasy forecast. We're going to talk about week 10, the, the matchups, the starts, the sits, what you need to know for your fantasy lineups. Got the news and notes on the show today. We got some football tonight, my friend.

What are you expecting out of that game?

[Jason Moore]

Oh, a lot of defense.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, I'm really expecting a low scoring game, which it's Thursday night and weird things do happen on Thursday night.

[Andy Holloway]

I'm going to go against the grain. I don't think that's the case. I, I have not been impressed even at home with the jets defense over the last two weeks. Cromartie will be out. That might be a help to them. I don't know, based on how he's playing. All that being said, I think, I think it'll be a, you know, it'll be a pretty competitive game.

[Jason Moore]

I agree that their Secondary is very banged up right now, the jets, and so you can pass on them. Sammy Watkins, though, you know, when you've got that one big tool on the offense and then you've got the one big tool, Darrell Revis, on the defense, if that gets mitigated and you can't find another weapon, it could, could be low scoring. But it's like Mike said, Thursday night games, man, you just never know what you're going to get in those Thursdays.

[Andy Holloway]

I agree. I agree. So one thing I wanted to let people know is, you know, we're trying to make this show better every single day. So one thing we did this past week is we sent out a little listener survey to you guys, and we.

Yeah, a survey, kind of asking some questions. What show do you love every week? What show do you like the least? You know, what are some things that you think you'd like to hear more about and vice versa. So one thing that we learned from that survey is that you guys want a little bit more on the Wednesday show, not just Mailbag. And so we're gonna be working to get that show going with some, some other segments. We'll still have our mailbag. We'll still be answering the listener questions.

It is a week away. So anyway, thank you very much for your feedback and all the information on there, and we're going to continue to, you know, make the show better. We want to be providing the very best fantasy content and not stopping, not settling into a routine, but just making it better and better. So that's kind of our goal. So quick question for the day, guys. What is your fantasy football philosophy on making trades at the trade deadline when your team is doing very well? Nine and oh, eight and one. You're cruising. But you're hearing us talk about playoff matchups or players that, you know, we don't love what they're doing in weeks 14, 15, 16. So how do you approach that at.

[Mike Wright]

This point of the season? Let's say I'm nine and oh, eight. One. Like you said, this is when I'm. I am okay starting to kind of unload some of my depths. I know that I can absorb a loss or two if things don't bounce. Right. Because I still have a bi week situation I'd never want to lose. But I'm willing to start really doing those two for ones we talk about two for ones a lot, because that's great. I always feel like I win when I do those. But I want the best, optimal starting lineup I can get. If I can trade a good player and a good bench player and I can get a superstar for my starting lineup, I'm going to do it. I'm going to start preparing my team to have a positional advantage in every slot so that my decisions are very easy come the playoffs. I don't have this all crap. I have five guys. I need to pick the right two because you're not going to get it right. This is. This is science. Science backs that up.

[Andy Holloway]

It's hard. It's hard to get it right to make the right pick every single time when you got. Those are the hardest questions for us when the listeners send them in. It's okay, I've got these five great players. Which two do I start?

[Mike Wright]

I just, I start focusing on that, the start.

[Andy Holloway]

So you're willing to rock the boat?

[Mike Wright]

Yes.

[Andy Holloway]

Okay, Jason, what is your thought?

[Jason Moore]

My thought would be, this is the time when I really start looking at the playoff schedule. I know I'm in the playoffs. I know I'm going to be there. You know what, what weeks are my league's playoffs generally? You know, you're talking about 14, 15, 16, and I start looking at the guys that have really good matchups or on my team. I go, man, he's got an atrocious, atrocious matchup. And so I'm not. I'm not ever going to trade, you know, a better guy for a worse guy based on, oh, he's got a better matchup. But if I find that I've got a guy on my team who's just got terrible matchups and there's a guy I like just as much who's got really good matchups, I might sweeten a pot to go get him and really plan for those weeks and make sure that I'm, I'm, you know, going to make him through those.

[Mike Wright]

And for guys like that, I'm not counting. I do that as well. But I do not count elite players. There's a lot of buds. Julio Jones gets Josh Norman twice in the class.

[Andy Holloway]

I'm glad you're bringing that up.

[Mike Wright]

I don't care. He's Julio Jones. I do not care. I'm not trading him for AJ Green or some. AJ Green is also elite. But Julio Jones is the best receiver in fantasy football right now until Big Ben comes back. But, no, I'm not scared of that. I'm letting it Ride don't care.

[Andy Holloway]

That was going to be my follow up question because I got a lot of them yesterday. All right, we don't, you know, Julio's got Carolina twice. What do you do? You play Julio Jones. Julio Jones and some of the trades were things like, you know, do I get Brandon Cooks and blah. You know, I was like, no, because if Brandon Cooks takes advantage of a matchup, maybe he ends up like Julio Jones.

[Mike Wright]

The, the way you can beat Josh Norman is up top.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah.

[Mike Wright]

Josh Norman is 6 foot. Julio was 6, 3. I'm, I'm, I think Julio will be fine.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. And if we've seen anything from Carolina lately, just to give you some encouragement, Carolina's been giving up points later in games and I have a feeling they'll be winning those. So. All right, let's go ahead and get into the news and notes.

I'm gonna take a deep breath. You ready for these now? One thing we didn't get to, we recorded the mailbag show, the Wednesday mailbag show before the news broke about Andrew Luck, the season that continues to disappoint us. So what is the story?

[Mike Wright]

Andrew Locke, you probably have already heard, but lacerated kidney expected to miss at least a month. Man, Andrew Luck is a tough season. It's a tough season for him.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, I think it's going to be important how these next few weeks go for the Colts. You know, if the next few weeks you're losing games and all of a sudden you're out of the running, are you really going to bring Andrew Luck back for those last.

[Mike Wright]

Chuck Lugano is going to bring Andrew luck.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, I actually don't even. That doesn't, that doesn't resonate with me at all. The division is terrible. There's no, there's no possible outcome. I honestly think if they lost.

[Jason Moore]

So you're saying if they go oh and four, if they went 06, I.

[Andy Holloway]

Think they'd still probably be a game or two out. I mean, I think there's like no way. I'm not joking. Have you seen. Okay, who are we competing with? Brian Hoyer, Houston, Jacksonville, Tennessee.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, Mr. Bibi Blake portals bringing them.

[Andy Holloway]

There's no way. They're not the worst case scenario and they'll probably, if they're playing any of those three teams, they'll probably win. So I think he'll be back. The Rams signed Wes Welker. Don't do that. Is all we will say about that. Few guys not practicing on Wednesday. Latavius Murray, D'Angelo Williams, Emmanuel Sanders. Do you guys have concerns about those guys?

[Mike Wright]

I not. Not huge concern. Very low level. But D'Angelo Williams foot swelling doesn't sound good, but monitor him.

[Andy Holloway]

Really good matchup.

[Mike Wright]

Oh man, the best is the best matchup.

[Andy Holloway]

Very good. DeMarco Murray showed up on the injury report with a groin injury but is practicing in full.

[Mike Wright]

Yep. No concern.

[Andy Holloway]

Nat Forte limited in practice Wednesday.

[Mike Wright]

Here's the, here's, here's the thing that sticks out. John Fox up to his Foxy tricks.

[Andy Holloway]

Yes. He's your favorite too. It's cool to see. Do you have a John Fox fathead I in your room?

[Mike Wright]

I don't have what he's saying.

I don't have one. I have two. I have two John Fox fatheads.

One of them is talking to reporters and denying any injuries to his players.

These so he's day to day. I don't expect him to play.

Okay. John Fox. Right. Vincent Jackson remains sidelined at Bucs practice would do we expect Vincent Jackson?

[Jason Moore]

No, they said when he got injured he would probably miss a couple weeks and it looks like he will.

[Andy Holloway]

Did you say that you expect walk ins tonight? Because I do.

[Jason Moore]

I do as well.

[Andy Holloway]

All right. Nick Mangold has been cleared for Thursday's game against the Bills. So in your center only league? No, we say that because it impacts Chris Ivory quite a bit to have the best or one of the best centers in the game active. It looks like he'll at least give it a go tonight. So for an owner like me of Chris Ivory, I kind of go, okay, that's good. Well, I'm kind of getting, kind of getting worn out, worn out with him, so. But Bilal Powell will not be back this week. He's doubtful. So I think he'll get another 10 days off. The Sean McCoy is probable for tonight's game against the Jets. Mike, you rolling him out there?

[Mike Wright]

I am.

[Andy Holloway]

All right.

[Mike Wright]

I am. And if everyone wants to hear my decision, it's LaShawn McCoy. And so I have a couple other players but Jeremy Hill is one of them. So as of now, I'm playing McCoy over hill.

[Andy Holloway]

Yes, that is helpful. Coach Jim Caldwell said Amir Abdullah is not in the doghouse. Does this mean he will get to play football this year?

[Mike Wright]

He's going to keep returning kicks.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, yeah, I agree with you. All right. Hey, Jason, I want to get your opinion on this and yours, Mike, but going to point it to Jason right now. Mike McCarthy out of Green Bay said James Starks Quote is our number one back right now heading into week 10. It is nice to get a declaration, isn't it?

[Jason Moore]

It is very nice to get a declaration. He's, he's not going to be a bell cow there, you know, if Eddie Lacy is in the game, it's going to be a split. But what we're going to see is we're going to see James Starks getting the first opportunity, the more opportunity and the truth is he has been very much outplaying Eddie Lacy. So when they both get the ball, James Starks is playing better and James Starks is going to get the ball first. So it's going to be better for Green Bay's offense, certainly better for James Starks and James Starks owners. And we'll come back around to that maybe later in our starts of the week.

[Mike Wright]

Wow.

[Andy Holloway]

Oh, that was impressive.

Every once in a while people ask us if we are the drops, like the voice for the drops. And I always wonder how they possibly think that.

All right, let's talk quickly about the coveted Titans running back situation. David Cobb has been activated from injured reserve. I would expect Bishop Sankey to be.

A healthy scratch if not, which is just gnarly.

Yeah, yeah. That's not good.

First running back in the draft and.

[Andy Holloway]

Every chance under the sun to be the guy and just isn't the guy.

Also, any hope for Cobb with Antonio Andrews playing okay?

Zero hope this week. I mean they're playing Carolina so you don't want to touch it.

[Andy Holloway]

All right. Josh McDaniel said James White will have the first crack at opportunity in the wake of the Dion Lewis injury. I do not have high expectations and I spent $11 a fab to sign James White. I felt like I had to.

[Mike Wright]

It's kind of. It's worth it though to me to take that.

[Andy Holloway]

He is a second year guy so at least he's not somebody who's been kind of like middling for five years, and then we're like, oh, no. You know, he has nothing. Maybe somehow he produces. Jason, you were saying that Brady had good things to say about him.

[Jason Moore]

Oh, Brady. In the off season, actually, last. Last year in the off season, Brady doled out some just incredible statements on White. Just loved him. Said he's, you know. You know, an amazing player. Believe he dropped an F bomb in there. So, yeah, you. You definitely have the what if opportunity chance of James White taking over the role and being great. He's one of those players that has really not been the same with pads on as he has been in practice. And so that's what you wonder is, you know, is he going to get.

[Andy Holloway]

He's putting them on. Wrong shoulder pads on your knee pad.

[Mike Wright]

That's been my problem. That's what held back my NFL career. As soon as the pads went on, I was slower by at least five seconds.

[Andy Holloway]

I kind of imagine, like, you made the team. You went to put the pads on, you couldn't get them on. You just left the locker room and you never played another game.

[Mike Wright]

I looked very similar to Sam Bradford in his shoulder pads.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. Did you have the deer in the headlights face permanently inside the helmet.

[Mike Wright]

Oh, and there was a guy who would just follow me with, like, a trombone and a tube. He's like, boom, boom, boom, boom.

[Andy Holloway]

That was Joy Bell. All right. Malcolm Floyd. The shoulder injury looked terrible. Torn labrum. Thought he'd be out for the year. Now he says he's gonna play through it.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. Good luck.

Believe it or not, now that we're talking about our football experience, that's. I've experienced that injury and played through it. Oh, at quarterback, tough guy. But I had a. I wasn't fully.

Torn, so I'm not feeling good about Malcolm Floyd moving forward.

No, there's too many options. David Johnson, Steve, Antonio Gates, man, as long as he can get all I right.

[Mike Wright]

I have noticed that there has been something lacking from Antonio Gates game. I don't know if you guys have. Have noticed when you're watching him, it looks distinctly like there is. There is a missing mcl.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah.

We talked about it a little bit already. Mike's rolling Shady out there. What do you do with Carlos Williams? Can you flex him?

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, I think he's. He's still a flex. The concern with Shady is we just. We don't know what type of a workload he's going to get with that banged up AC joint. I expect him to be fine, get his normal to full workload, but that Carlos Williams is still involved. Carlos Williams is a touchdown machine.

[Andy Holloway]

Thus far, it's true. I still don't. I don't think I buy into it.

[Jason Moore]

I don't. I don't either.

[Andy Holloway]

I know, I know. Mike's laughing, but David Johnson was a touchdown machine. He's not anymore. Well, when you have limited reps, it cannot continue like that.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. You can't always just start.

That doesn't mean I don't stay in the touchdown.

And if you're trying to predict, which obviously we've said this before, touchdowns are one of the hardest things to predict for anybody. Yeah, but if you're. If you're making that attempt, you've got him getting the fewer touches and a terrible matchup. I mean, the jets secondary is depleted and they might be able to throw on him, but they're not going to be running all over him. I just don't see that happening. So I don't think I would flex Carlos Williams unless it was a real desperate situation.

[Andy Holloway]

Let me lay down some stats for you. The run defenses for these guys. The jets are the first against the run this season, so we temper some expectations, maybe with. With McCoy, especially if he's injured. Bills are the sixth, the six against the run, and Ivory's been atrocious. That being said, Noble Alpal producing on. If there's a red zone carry, he gets it. How do you feel about those guys?

[Mike Wright]

I do not feel confident in Ivory, unfortunately. He's. He's a player that you have to start. There's. I can't imagine a lower level option on my bench that I would play over. Chris Ivory, He's. He's still going to be a top 24 type guy.

[Andy Holloway]

Would you start him or Chuck Hendrick west this week?

[Jason Moore]

Ooh, I was.

[Mike Wright]

I think I would start West.

[Andy Holloway]

Okay.

[Mike Wright]

In that situation.

Okay. I'm trying to see where we have our consensus rankings here. And Ivory is, I think, low.

[Jason Moore]

He's. I think he's near a bottom RB2 just because the matchup and he's been running for about a yard a carry. That being said, the Bills, the one thing that they have done consistently from their running defense has given up touchdowns. I think it's like four or five games in a row that a running back has scored a touchdown. Two on them on the ground last week. So that fits Chris Ivory's build. Very nice if you get some red zone opportunities. I think this is a high probability that Ivory gets in the end zone again this week. So I'm not too scared of him. He's just not going to have the huge.

[Andy Holloway]

He's had three catches in successive games as well because of the lack of a great for his floor right now. When you turn it over to the passing side of things, the bills are 24th against the pass in terms of points given up to wide receivers. The jets are in the middle. This means better things for that side of the ball or that side of the offense. What do we think about first start with the Jets? Talk to me about Marshall and Decker. I think everybody knows you're going to roll Marshall out there, but let me. Let me give you some decisions to make with Decker. Would you start Eric Decker? Right now we have him 16, so would you start him over Crabtree?

[Mike Wright]

No.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. Mike would not.

I think I would.

Jason has Michael Crabtree so low that I can't even. I don't even know what that number is. I can't even read it.

All right, let's go ahead and talk about the Jaguars going to Baltimore to face the Ravens. Yes. You talk about the division. This is an opportunity for the Jaguars to get a win against the team that's been struggling now without Steve Smith. What, what stands out to you fantasy wise from this matchup? The Jaguars are seventh against the run. The Ravens are tenth against the run. That is the upper echelon of run defenses in terms of fantasy points given up to running backs. But they both stinking. It's the pass.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. And that's what we see a lot of times, right. Is that you're. You're considered upper echelon against the run defense because you can be passed on so easily. So I don't know that it's really that either of these teams has a fantastic, you know, defensive line that's going to stop the run. I expect for set to have a very nice game in the running position because he could catch the ball as well. And obviously the ones for both side, the wide receiver ones on both side of the ball, man, do I love it. We talked earlier about a Rob Allen Robinson, the target monster.

[Mike Wright]

Monster.

[Jason Moore]

I mean he's just going to feast in this matchup and I actually like Kamar Akin just from a standpoint of he's going to have the most targets. I expect this to be a high scoring game. You know, I like Flacco and Bortles in this game a lot. So this is a game that should see a lot of points put on the board and your star players are going to be the ones doing it.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, I agree. I think Alan Robinson is going to go to the old country buffet and just gorge himself on the Raven secondary. I love Aiken tremendously this week and the guys that I actually don't like because I agree with the run run defense numbers on these. I'm a little shaky on four set. He's still, he's still a one for me, but I have my concerns over it. I believe it was Adam Mazer was talking about. The Jaguars are giving up the lowest yards per carry of any team. So they're there. I think the run defense is actually okay. It's not just you can pass on the Jags. It's their run defense is actually pretty solid. And same thing with the Ravens, man, their run defense, they don't have t sizzle. Clearly he's Been gone all year, but their run defense has held up for the most part throughout the year. So for TJ Yelden, he's still getting out there, but you got to have expectations where they should be.

[Andy Holloway]

Now, that was what I was going to ask you if what is the reverberating effect of Alan Hearn sitting? Wouldn't that mean Julius Thomas and Yelden might be more involved in the passing game?

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, Julius Thomas, I can see it. We know that the Ravens are kind of known for their tight end defense as they've been shutting down tight ends throughout the year.

[Andy Holloway]

But that's good because I had to face Thomas in one of my leagues. That's good to hear. Thanks, Mike.

You got it, man. But that's not going to stop me from starting Thomas as a lower type option. But this game is really about Blake Bortles, Mr. BB himself and Alan Robinson for me.

It's a no brainer. But speaking of trades, Blake Bortles is a guy I'm trying to acquire in leagues where I can still trade because his end of season schedule starts is just delicious. It is. It is an apple dumpling from Cracker Barrel. Delicious.

I know how much you love those, so that is high praise.

What. How do we possibly adjust the fantasy expectations in this game?

[Jason Moore]

You lower them. You lower them for every player across the board because you're not going to have. I don't see this game being one that's going to be, you know, 35 to 28. This is, this is a game that's going to be some ineptitude. You might want to put a kicker in there, probably get some field goals in this game. But even still, that's not how I predict my kickers. You know, you've got Roethlisberger with or not Roethlisberger, you've got Landra Jones with the weapons. So any, anytime you've got Martavis Bryant that could Break one off. He's absolutely startable. You always are going to roll with Antonio Brown, but you just have to lower the expectations of what you're thinking. So in your roster, you know, if you're going up against a high powered guy and you've got those other guys, you might need to think to yourself on those flex decisions. I need someone that's got bigger height potential.

[Mike Wright]

Need to go boom.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, exactly.

[Andy Holloway]

Now here's a situation you might run into. Now, we're pretty sure Big Ben's out, right? Like, if you gave a percentage, Jason, what would you have it at?

[Jason Moore]

95%, Mike.

I would put him at a 10% chance to play.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. So.

If, of anybody, it would be Duke and Crow, well, he might not be too bad. Robert Turbin got waived in Crow. Well, if you watched the Browns play last week, he had some burst man. If there's a hole Crowell was, was getting through it. So it, because Turbin is out of the picture, Crowell is back to being a, an RB3, RB2 maybe type guy. And Duke Johnson, I like him just because he catches so many passes, especially if Josh McCown is playing.

[Jason Moore]

If you're, if you're the D'Angelo Williams owner, do you go and pick up Jordan Todman?

[Andy Holloway]

No.

Yeah. As of now, new information, new opinion. But as of right now, the information that I have, I think he's going to play and I, you know, you get to a certain point in the depth chart where you're at the Alfred Blue, Chris Polk point of time and you, you'd rather start another guy than you would some kind of. It's not Like Jordan Tom and I think is going to come in there and either A, set the world on fire or B, get every carry and catch. You know, he's just. If he was that kind of player, probably wouldn't be signed last, especially on.

The Landry Jones version of the Steelers.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. So let me think here. Is there anybody else we needed to talk about? I did want to bring up Travis Benjamin.

[Mike Wright]

Yes.

[Andy Holloway]

Because I think he's a little bit actually a sneaky play this week if McCown is back because the, you know, the Steelers are not a great past defense in terms of just production given up to wide receivers. And Benjamin has obviously done well this year at times. He might be a very good DFS play because he might be cheap because he's had a couple bad weeks. So. Do you agree with that assessment?

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, completely agree. If, if it comes out that Johnny Football is starting, I don't want to play Benjamin. I'm still going to roll Barnage out if, if football is the quarterback. I just, if I'm a Barn is owner, I'm really, really hoping that Josh McCown comes back.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. And if you're in a deep league, both heartline and Andrew Hawkins, who had concussions, both, both practice, which.

[Mike Wright]

The sentence of saying if I'm a Gary Barnage owner, I desperately hope Josh McCown is the quarterback is a sentence that has never been like, that has not been put together.

Jonathan Stewart kind of doesn't get the touchdown opportunities anyways, so, you know You've got a game here where I think Cam is going to be able to throw the ball, run the ball, and Jonathan Stewart's just going to kind of be one of those middling performances is what I expect. You know, one of those. Sure, he might touch the ball, you know, 20 times and get 60 yards, but, you know, that's not going to win you weeks. So that's how I see.

I think you can roll him out because he's going to be a true RB one for the team. You know, have the bell, cow, close type of role. I don't think Kadeem Carey is going to eat in too much. However. It's a bad, terrible matchup. So you're looking at a, you know, as far as fantasy, you know, a lower end RB2. That's how I've got him ranked is kind of just. He's all right. He can definitely play for your roster and he's going to put up points because his baseline and usage is going to be high. But I don't expect a big breakout game like we all did last week just because of the matchup.

And that's, that's fair for the, for the Bears. Alshon Jeffrey is a full go.

I'm starting to like Tavon Austin because of the carries that are getting involved in there. He just seems to produce. He's so quick. He makes a big play every game.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. His baseline is much higher with that. And the, the Bears defense. That's who I was just going to bring up. I think Tavon Austin is an absolutely flex worthy player in this game. His baseline is decent and he could break something off in any game. His speed is electric.

[Andy Holloway]

Now, these teams have statistically both very good pass defenses. So does that impact your kind of ceiling for Jeffrey in this game? The Rams are exceptional at home as well.

[Mike Wright]

Not for me. Jay Cutler feeds Alshon Jeffrey.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, not for me either. Jeffrey's my number one right now.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, it did for me. I think he's, you know, gonna have one of those games that's like, you know, 6 for 68. It's not going to be a terrible game, but not, not gonna be that crazy.

[Andy Holloway]

Do you, do you think that Devin Funches is gonna come watch this game? Do you think he's gonna visit after.

[Jason Moore]

He's gonna come right out of the tunnel in the starting lineup.

[Andy Holloway]

He's confused.

Yeah. Punches really needs to get together.

Funches is so confused right now. He doesn't know what's going on.

Des Bryant, we saw it last week. He can still make plays with Matt Castle, even if Matt Castle just throws it up into the sky.

I do like him. He's it, man. It really stinks, though. But we only have one more week. One more week of DEZ Bryant not being a top three guy.

So Tony Romo will be back next week. I have Des Bryant very high this week in this matchup.

[Jason Moore]

I have three guy.

Oh. I have him as a one low.

End one, which I think is probably more reasonable. But the way I started it out, I thought DEZ Bryant would produce. He is what their offense is at this point.

What you're telling me is you're admitting you're not a reasonable man, correct?

Clearly not. Yeah, clearly not. Darren McFadden is an every week start right now.

[Jason Moore]

Absolutely.

What do we think about Doug Martin? Because I have some thoughts about Doug.

[Jason Moore]

I think Charles Sims is going to start to cut in a little bit more and make it into one of those uglier timeshares that we don't want, which I super don't want. I think Doug Martin doesn't deserve that. He's been playing very well this year. I know he fumbled the ball and got benched, but, you know, been so did. So did Sims. So. But that's what I expect. I expect his production to come down as Sims comes up and they just share that they're both good backs, but it makes for fantasy. It makes it a worse situation, I think.

[Mike Wright]

So are you going to start Doug Martin or Charles Sims?

[Andy Holloway]

I would start Martin.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah.

Doug Martin over Martin is my start of the week this week.

[Jason Moore]

You know, Castle being there could end up using him the same way. If you're in a full PPR league, I think that bumps him into a flex consideration type of player.

That's a good assessment. Mike Evans, does he get. It's such a weird world of Mike Evans because 150 plus yards, great fantasy day six drops. So I mean, nowhere to go but up, up, up.

[Jason Moore]

No, no. He has shown that he can also go down.

[Mike Wright]

The drops will go up.

[Andy Holloway]

What do you guys have him this week? Mike Evans right now?

[Mike Wright]

I still like him. He's still.

[Andy Holloway]

I have him the Highest at number 10. Jason has him at 19. Mike has him at 15 overall. So we're all starting him. He's all at wide receiver two for you guys. He's a one for me.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. Consensus rankings. He rounds out our last wide receiver one right behind DEZ Bryant. So they should both be okay, but I don't think either is going to just explode. Austin Safari and Jenkins might be actually on the field this week. We don't know yet whether that's going to be a good thing for Evans or bad. But it should probably help Evans a little bit because right now you got Evans and nobody. So if you're the defense, you can really, really focus in on Evans and.

[Andy Holloway]

He needs to focus in on the ball.

[Jason Moore]

Right. That's.

[Andy Holloway]

So what else from this game stands out to you? Is there anybody else want to talk about? I like Whitten this week. We're going to get to that soon. He's on my. He's a consideration for me.

I think Castle is a sneaky. No, here's what I'm saying. If you're in a two quarterback league, I think smelly.

[Andy Holloway]

I think you meant smelly.

[Jason Moore]

If you're in a two quarterback league, Castle is the type of guy that is probably still out there available and he would be a playable option. He's got enough weapons with DEZ the way that he's, you know, using the dump offs. And DMC is going to be involved in the passing game as well. So I think you've got a good baseline there with Castle.

[Andy Holloway]

All right, we got to move on to the. The last matchup we're going to talk about today before we get to the starts of the week and then we'll have the second half of the games tomorrow. The Lions head to Green Bay and they take on the packers and we.

[Jason Moore]

And let's see, are there any lines that I'm starting Stafford? Maybe I need. We need some, some information on that Green Bay secondary. Are there. Are they going to be down some corners again? Because if they are, then sure, I'll.

[Jason Moore]

I'll fire up the last report that I've seen. They're still pretty banged up there. I expect them to be down at least one, maybe two of their main corners. And we've seen that that has really changed their defense. Their defense at the beginning of the year, when healthy, they were really tough to both pass and run on. And now with the injuries, they have not had quality backups is essentially what's going on. So I do think Calvin Johnson is going to be a fine play. I actually think Joy Bell is a flex option here that can. Can do. All right. Stafford is. You know what? What? You know what? He has been a lot this year. Yeah. Your Joy glove firing you up?

[Andy Holloway]

Oh, gosh, yeah.

[Jason Moore]

Stafford to me is just outside of top 12.

[Andy Holloway]

They use one of his game worn jerseys as a blanket every night. So I'm very excited about Joyk. I've never watched it in this game. What about Devin Funches? How does he perform?

[Jason Moore]

Well, Aaron Rodgers is gonna really spread the ball around, so everyone's gonna catch the ball. Funches will definitely get involved.

He's gonna go right out of Lambeau Field, right into his arms.

So you got Devonta Adams or James Jones?

[Andy Holloway]

All right, you guys have stayed with us on the previews. We're going to get to my favorite segment of the week. Let's go ahead and talk about who we like.

Starts of the week.

All right, guys, let's kick this off. I was surprised that my guy was available because he is. He was Mike's stream of the week.

[Mike Wright]

He is.

[Andy Holloway]

And he is my start of the week at the quarterback position and that is captain Kirk Cousins. And there is one reason and it's two words and the two words are New Orleans.

[Jason Moore]

Yep.

[Andy Holloway]

They're giving up the second most points per game in the league, the third most passing yards per game and have A League worst 24 to 4 touchdown to interception ratio. They are not playing good football on that side. And Kirk Cousins has every opportunity to have a sneaky streaming start.

[Mike Wright]

Absolutely.

[Andy Holloway]

This week.

[Mike Wright]

And I got Mr. B.B. blake Bortles. He is a multi touchdown machine and he gets the Ravens. So very similar to the Kirk Cousins logic.

[Andy Holloway]

And that was my stream of does he need Hearns?

[Mike Wright]

I think he'll be okay without Hearns.

[Jason Moore]

Okay, it's a neat little triangle here because I was going to go with Blake Bortles, who was my stream of the week as my start of the week, but then he was taken as well. So I am going right across the field in that same game and I'm.

[Andy Holloway]

Going to bold move.

[Mike Wright]

Well, I like it. I like it.

[Jason Moore]

Joe Flacco, like we said earlier, you know, you pointed out that the run defenses are legit in both of these games, but the past defenses are lousy. So the ball is going to be going through the air. I like Joe Flacco in this matchup against Jacksonville secondary. So, you know, we've seen a couple games right, right in a row here where, you know, against San Diego he had over 30. He had 343 yards and two touchdowns against San Francisco. So when he's in those beatable matchups, you know he's been doing very well. So even without Steve Smith, I think you can start Joe Flacco this week.

[Andy Holloway]

All right, why don't you go ahead and give us your running back and we'll come back through with our running back starts of the week.

[Jason Moore]

All right. Well, my running back we teased at the beginning of the show. It's actually James Starks. If you're a James Starks owner, there's fear about whether or not you can trust starting him and playing him. Mike McCarthy coming out and saying that he's the starter. The matchup, I mean, come on, this is the Lions. I have said for the last two years that I think James Starks is a very talented running back. He has always shown that when he gets his opportunity, opportunity comes, matchup comes. I have him as a top 10 running back this week. So go ahead and start James Starks.

[Mike Wright]

And I'm going with LeGarrett Blunt. Most carries of his career in a single game last week. Pour one out for Dion Lewis because he's down. And my notes here say Giants defense, sad face.

[Andy Holloway]

That is some astute statistical analysis there.

[Mike Wright]

That's all you need to know about the Giants defense is a sad face emoticon. And I expect Blunt to get a healthy amount of carries.

[Andy Holloway]

Did you, did you happen to see Jason Pierre Paul's comments on Brady?

[Mike Wright]

No.

[Andy Holloway]

Where he said like, well, maybe he'll be like, maybe he'll have an off day or maybe he's sick. I hope he's sick. That would help us out a lot.

[Jason Moore]

Yes.

[Andy Holloway]

Very honest. I like that.

[Mike Wright]

The influenza defense.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, the influenza. It's smart. All right. My running back start of the week is in stark contrast to Jason's opinion on him, but I think this is muscle hamster time. I think Doug Martin has a bounce back game against the league's worst run defense right now, and that's the Dallas Cowboys. They are. I think this game stays close. First of all, I think Tampa wins the game and I think that puts Doug Martin in a position to be a cog in that. So that's just, you know, that's where I'm at with Doug Martin. He's my running back start of the week. I know people are super disappointed in him, but that's where I'm at.

[Mike Wright]

I'm going to rattle off my final two because I might have to duck out here. Okay.

[Andy Holloway]

A radio call.

[Mike Wright]

Wide receiver. I'm going with Kamar Akin because I believe in Joe Flacco this week at home against the Jags. No, Steve Smith, Kamar Aiken, he's. He's been decent in his given when he's given the opportunity. And the Jaguars been given up 200 yards and two touchdowns to the wide receiver position the last three weeks. So I think that's a great matchup. Tight end. Rule 86, baby. Rule 86.

[Andy Holloway]

New Orleans you got to say his name.

[Mike Wright]

No, he doesn't need to be named.

[Andy Holloway]

He does for people who don't know who you're talking about.

[Jason Moore]

Jordan Reed.

[Mike Wright]

Jordan Reed. The New Orleans defense is hemorrhaging in the last two weeks. When Jordan Reed finally came back, guess what? He's the target leader in Washington. He's. He's Kirk Cousins. Go to guy. The Saints defense in particular against tight ends can be atrocious at home. I love Jordan Reed here.

[Andy Holloway]

All right, Jason, why don't you tell me who your wide receiver start of the week.

[Jason Moore]

My wide receiver start of the week is a very, very easy call because he's in so many games. It's Devin Funches. He is going to catch the ball from so many quarterbacks. It is fantastic. No, no, my start of the week is actually Brandon Lefell. Brandon Lefell has come back off of injury, steadily improved each game. 2 catches, 4 catches, 5 catches, 25 yards, 47, 102 yards. And now he comes up in a very winnable matchup against New York. Sad face. They're the 21st ranked against the wide receiver and with Deion Lewis going out, more balls going to be going around to other targets. So I really like Brandon Lefell this week.

[Andy Holloway]

One thing I noticed in the game last week when it was kind of put away and they were still throwing the ball, they were working on the fell like he got three or four targets at the end of the game, including a screen pass giving him the opportunity to get downfield. You could tell they were working that part of the offense out when the game was out of. I love that start. I really like that start.

[Jason Moore]

They need him.

[Andy Holloway]

I have him at 17 this week and I'm going to move them up.

[Mike Wright]

You have a killing me. I have to decide Lafell or Snead.

[Andy Holloway]

He's sitting here and he thought he knew. No, I've been deciding.

[Mike Wright]

I've been leaning snead, but that's just because the Snead matchup is so great.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. So my wide receiver start of the week.

See you, Mike. All right. The wide receiver start of the week for me is Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson. Is that allowed? I think they benefit the same way that Kirk Cousins is my start of the week. So I think somebody benefits on that side. I think desean Jackson is going to get involved. I think Pierre Garcon is going to be involved and both of them are going to have good games. If I had to just Pick one. It'd be Garcon for the baseline, but he hasn't had any boom games. So if you need boom, go D Jacks. If you need base, go Garcon. Both have good games for me.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, I think there's going to be a boom in D Jacks. Hamstring.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, that. See, that's the risk that you run with D Jacks, So you need to be safe.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. At least you do know that, though. You know, going in, you could get a dud, but you could also. I could easily see him having a great game. My wide, my tight end.

[Andy Holloway]

Mine is Eric Ebron. What's yours?

[Jason Moore]

Yes, you wish it was Eric Ebron, but that is mine. We didn't talk about it too much, but in the Green Bay game, their secondary is really hurt. They have given up a lot of scores to the tight end. Eric Ebron has actually been a fantastic player this year. He's been used in the passing game. He's been used in the red zone. His injury kind of hurt his momentum. His, like, you know how people think about a player. They started to rise on him. He got hurt, and then he came back strong. But he's on enough waivers where you can pretty much pick him up for about half of the leagues. And he's a great start this week. So I like Eric Ebron. Somebody wrote in asking between. I think it was Vernon Davis.

[Andy Holloway]

Oh, goodness.

[Jason Moore]

And someone on by. So go get Eric Ebron.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. And the thing is, is they're going to be in a comeback situation. Most likely, they're in Green Bay. They're going to need to throw the ball. And so you've got kind of the production available for him. And so I really liked Ebron. He. He was a guy that I had selected before I noticed you had claimed him. And so another guy that I like, I can't say that I'm in love with, but I like him a lot, is Jason Whitten this week. He still had six catches last week. This is the week, I think that, you know, tight end cannot be covered very well by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Whitten is a good bet for five or six catches in a chance at a touchdown. So, you know, last week it was Delaney Walker. This week is Jason Whitten for me, so I'm going to move forward with him.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. And really, Jordan Reed is the best start here. I just love Mike's pick. What percentage is Jordan Reed owned? Take a guess, Andy. Oh, by this point, he's been putting up week after week after week. It's got.

[Andy Holloway]

This is always a hard. He's got to be over 50%, doesn't he?

[Jason Moore]

Well, yeah, he's definitely.

[Andy Holloway]

Okay. Okay. So I don't know. I'm gonna go 75, 73, which means.

[Jason Moore]

27 a quarter of your leagues. Jordan Reed is available in again, I think we said this last week, if you're in a league, go look at your waiver. If Jordan Reed is there, pick him up. He needs to be on.

[Andy Holloway]

I think what people want to know, too is if they're in a situation where they have a Tyler Ifert, Greg Olson, Rob Gronkowski, do they still go sign Jordan Reed?

[Jason Moore]

Absolutely. Because of injury, because of depth, because of matchup. And honestly, we don't. We do not say roll two tight ends, but if you've got a Jordan Reed and a Tyler Eifert, those are the situations where you might be able to flex a Jordan Reed as your best play.

[Andy Holloway]
