Your fantasy football New Year's resolution, How are you going to change? I mean, Jason, I know in our league of record you won, so, you know, your resolution might change nothing. There you go.

You change nothing and you die.

No, I've got my change. I got.

Who wants to go first?

[Andy Holloway]

I will go first. And I resolve to hold the higher upside running backs, the backup running backs. I'm going to hold them longer.

[Jason Moore]

Now. That was already something you tried to do. Yeah, but the Ryan Matthews of the world.

[Andy Holloway]

It's very difficult to hold these guys until fruition. I was able to do it two years ago with Jeremy Hill. I held him all year long and it paid off huge. And this year, I mean, I had David Johnson in a couple spots, I had him available in other spots, but I just didn't hold on to him and paid the price when it came to the waiver time. I think I only had him on my bench in one of the leagues and then it was, could I afford him. Similar thing with D'Angelo Williams. We saw the first two games. We literally saw it. There was no speculation of what D'Angelo Williams can do on that offense. We saw it for two games and yet I wasn't holding on to him in the leagues where I didn't have Le'Veon, which was just a mistake. We talked about it in our league of record. There was a guy in our league who every Sunday would add him to his bench, which. And somehow I didn't even notice it because it's, you know, he's not announcing. He's doing this. But it was just, it's so smart of him to do. If you have a wasted bench spot, throw a really high upside running back on there and you. Because you never know. I mean especially this year with all the injuries.

[Jason Moore]

So I'll piggyback on that. That's a good resolution. My resolution is this. And every time I had momentum this year, I kind of got punched in the face a little bit. And so my new year's resolution is to become better at depth on my team. I have always been a fantasy player that has prioritized elite starters over depth on my team. But whether it was Dion Lewis, Jon Stewart late in the year, my Rawls injury, Arian Foster, my team at times looked amazing.

[Andy Holloway]

You can more depth than that. I mean that's four RB1s.

[Jason Moore]

Well, no, those weren't. That wasn't depth. That was reaction right then I had to go get others. Then I had to go get others. What I'm saying is by the end of the year, despite having that levels of of depth, it's more proving the point. I still had to start some bad running backs in the playoffs. So piggybacking off of you with. You've always said this and I, I don't know if I bought into it in the beginning, but just at the end of the day, whether they're good or not, you always say, you know, have a couple running backs, extra running backs on your bench. I didn't do that enough this year. I've always been, like I said, elite at every starting position and roll the dice. I think in the modern NFL, rolling the dice anymore is, is probably foolish. It's probably really, really hoping to get lucky without the injuries. Whereas before I think the odds were a little bit better. But now, you know, too many guys went down.

[Mike Wright]

We talked about that heading into the playoffs this last year you had a better group of starters and I had.

[Jason Moore]

More depth and we thought that would go head to head.

[Mike Wright]

We both dealt with injuries. Mark Ingram went down for me, Stuart and Rawls, Stewart and Rawls for you. And I had the depth to kind of roll in there. When Alshon Jeffrey was out, you had.

[Jason Moore]

Another wide receiver that could have somebody to go in.

[Mike Wright]

For me, my, my new Year's resolution looking ahead to 2016 is to value the high end elite wide receivers higher than good running backs. For me, I have always been a super running back guy. I'm going to take, you know, a Lamar Miller this year over a good wide receiver because I can get wide receivers. I can get Them late in the draft. I can get them off of waivers. And I think that's right when you're talking about your average wide receivers. But when you're talking about the high end wide receivers, I think it's starting to really just be proven that they are safer than the running backs. You did some work, Mike, on like the safety of quarterbacks and different positions. The, the bust factor of how many of these top guys are busting this year, man alive. If you took a running back in.

[Andy Holloway]

That first round, chances are not named Adrian Peterson.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, chances are you got, you got screwed over.

[Jason Moore]

We got a listener. Email me this morning. They survived spending half their auction money on two players, Eddie Lacy and C.J. anderson. Half their auction money. They won the title.

[Mike Wright]

Wow.

But that serves your point. All this money thrown into those, those running backs that went down.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. And if you look at the early wide receivers that went. I mean you have des that went down. That was a bust.

[Jason Moore]

Jordy and.

[Mike Wright]

Well, Jordy, if you drafted super early. But I would say, I would say of the top guys, the only two would be DEZ and then Demarys. Thomas was a little bit of a letdown, but he was still okay. A.J.

[Andy Holloway]

Green was probably. I didn't own him personally, so I didn't have that roller coaster. I was just watching from afar. But I would.

[Mike Wright]

I had A.J. green on that.

[Andy Holloway]

People were disappointed with Green.

[Jason Moore]

It will be something we talk about in depth this offseason. Because this is something that Mike, you brought up is one of the trends you're expecting to see because of the injuries this year, Right?

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, the trend is I think people are going to go wide receiver heavy in the first round and I haven't. I mean, we still have plenty of time. For me, I want to start breaking down some, some data and all those things before I make a decision on am I going to join that or am I going to zag because everyone's zigging, you know, and grab the best running back.

[Jason Moore]

Better value at running backs, but that's it.

[Andy Holloway]

I agree with Jason that it's going to be very interesting for us to examine of. Do you just go wide receiver? Do you punt running back for a couple rounds and see what happens?

[Jason Moore]

Jason read me his MFL10 roster this morning. One of the leagues he won, which was impressive in and of itself, but it was dominated by high end wide receiver play and a bunch of injured running backs were on his team.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah.

[Jason Moore]

And I'm starting to wonder, like people read me their running back lists on those teams or their fantasy rosters and they're like, man, I got a bunch of bad breaks. But everybody's saying that. It's not just like I'm starting to say, oh, okay, everybody dealt with running back injuries this year, so very interesting. We will, as Mike said, we will be looking at all the data and looking at the trends and seeing where we're headed in 2016 because things change. Some things stay the same. I think late round quarterbacks are going to stay the same.

[Andy Holloway]

And I have a big. I guess it's not big. That's. That's overstating it. Apparently There was a D'Angelo Williams stat correction and we are getting tweets that people have had their championship revoked because of a D'Angelo Williams stat correction. So a shout out to our fallen comrades who have lost their title to the stat correction. That is a bad beat.

[Jason Moore]

That's terrible.

[Andy Holloway]

We feel it. I've never had a title revoked that way. I have had my entrance into a title game revoked that way. It is brutal. I understand your pain.

[Jason Moore]

What it looks like is D'Angelo Williams had a fumble and a fumble lost point added. So if you're in a league that penalizes both of those, basically a fumble happened, a fumble loss was credited to D'Angelo Williams.

[Andy Holloway]

So if he.

[Jason Moore]

So that is brutal.

Yeah, we've. I've had a few stories. There was a Denard Robinson stat correction that Yahoo did not credit ahead of time and then put the responsibility on the owners.

[Mike Wright]

Theirs was even worse though, because this D'Angelo Williams was on this week, right? Yes. I mean, I mean, you expect stat corrections today. If I, if I'm up by one point and I get stack corrected, I'm waiting till today when that's normal. But the one with the Yahoo and the Denard Robinson was, was over a week old and they went back.

[Jason Moore]

Well, it wasn't really Yahoo, though. It was the NFL changed it.

[Mike Wright]

Right.

[Jason Moore]

And Yahoo Maybe didn't apply it as soon as they could have. I mean, they played it on Friday, I think before the weekend games, but Friday was Christmas. So that's what got in the way for a lot of league owners. And they didn't do it in a way that automatically applied it like ESPN did. They said, hey, we don't want to mess with your team. You go mess with it. It was 13 yards of rushing yards for Denard Robinson that got changed. So that stuff is no fun. I still say if he got 13 yards, he got 13 yards. I've been on the side where you change it because he did. I mean, it's the truth, so. But it doesn't make it feel any better. All right, let's go ahead and get into the news.

News and notes from around the league.

[Jason Moore]

All right. Not a lot of news. We have a lot of injury updates for you. This is the big one, though. The Redskins head coach Jay Gruden hinted his starters could be active but play limited snaps in week 17. I don't know if what we're going to see. I would guess what we're going to see is kind of like a fourth preseason game situation where maybe they want to get some reps out on the field, but you're talking about a driver, too. We've warned you about the Redskins this week because he said he needed to be smart with those players, make sure they don't get hurt. To be honest, I don't know what to expect from them other than the fact that the only guy that I think about playing is Jordan Reed, because we saw what he could do in one quarter last week. And tight end is harder.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. If Jordan Reed is playing an entire half, he's going to outperform your average waiver wire pickup replacement tight end. And so that is worth considering. The problem here is we don't know that it's going to be half or a drive.

[Jason Moore]

This is something where, if it was my team, I would be on Twitter every second. I would be. Yeah. The whole morning leading up to starting a guy, I'd have another option. And then I'd look for somebody, one of the big reporters, to say, okay, Gruden said, they're going to half, you know, and then I might roll them out there.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, I don't think you can trust it. I mean, if you're a Jordan Reed owner. I'm not sure what Zachary's ownership percentage is at right now. It's got to be climbing. But that's a guy with huge upside that.

[Jason Moore]

That I would have that risk.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, I would rather.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. If you've got someone good like Zach Ertz.

[Andy Holloway]

But I'm saying if you. If you're just grabbing at the bottom of the barrel for tight end and you have Reed who might give you a half, I'd probably still go, would.

You play Will tie or Ty?

[Andy Holloway]

Ty has more upside. So I would stay with Ty.

[Jason Moore]

I probably would as well.

[Mike Wright]

The C.J. spiller experiment ends on IR, I believe.

Early in the year. Early. I said that there must be something extracurricular going on behind the scenes here.

[Jason Moore]

I think IR in this CASE stands for I regret. I regret signing CJ Spiller. The Saints. It didn't work out. That's all there is to it.

[Andy Holloway]

Jason made some very inflammatory comments, insinuations.

[Jason Moore]

We won't repeat them. And if you remember them, then good for you, being a loyalist.

[Mike Wright]

I'm just saying I think I might have been right here because he got. He got shipped out to the ir.

[Jason Moore]

Not good. And then the, you know, dynasty leagues, dirt cutter, offensive coordinator at Tampa, they want to keep Doug Martin around now. Keeping Doug Martin's a lot more expensive now than it was a year, I think.

[Mike Wright]

Whoops. This is actually good news for this week because I've had listeners write in and say they're really worried because of his fumbles. You know, he had another fumble this last week and they're like, can I trust him? Charles Sims had such a great game. Who do I play? And you see the confidence that they want Doug Martin out there. They want him for the future. So I think you can be confident in Doug Martin this week.

All right, let's run down the injuries.

What's it going to be, McFly? Are you in or out?

[Jason Moore]

In or out? Tyrod Taylor, I know he'll be out regardless of his start for my team.

[Andy Holloway]

Out of your fantasy line.

What's his health like?

[Andy Holloway]

I believe he's going to be in. I haven't got. I guess.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, his. His health, I don't think is a huge question mark. He should play this week, but like Andy said, out of the roster, he was just limited.

[Jason Moore]

Shoulder should be okay.

[Andy Holloway]

Brian, he was called out a little bit by the. The coaching staff who they. They had said they. They think that he needs to be the type of quarterback who can put the game on his back. Maybe a motivation type situation. So who knows for Taylor moving forward this week how he will respond to that criticism and who knows, a little.

Bit long term with Tyra Taylor.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, I think that's more what it is.

He's been cleared. I think he's in and I think he's a good play this week.

Now you just throw in another variable. The team is kind of in shambles and the defense has not been good. So I like Eli Manning to bounce back in a big way against Philadelphia and come out and light it up.

Yeah, I like Eli Manning a lot this week for every reason you just said, especially coming off of bad games. People don't want to start him. I'm going to go with a guy based on a game and that's Drew Brees. Drew Brees, Atlanta has statistically a good passing Defense, they've had some low scoring games, but Vegas has this game as a super high scoring game. It's the last game of the year. I think this is going to be a game where you just have offenses putting points on the board left and right. I want pieces of that. Drew Brees, Willie Snead seems healthy.

But Hightower is at the very, very.

They, the Giants have finally, I mean, we're way to be a little bit too late here, New York, but they've finally, finally realized maybe we should let a good player get into the flow of the game and get him some, some real carries. Now. I mean, this one's a little riskier, clearly, but you're in a situation where there's just not a, there's not a lot of great matchups for the middle tier guys that I'm liking. And Rashad Jennings is one that jumps out. So I like him this week.

Yeah, one guy that I'm going to start this week, I actually have him slated one spot ahead of Tim Hightower. Who I love is Darren McFadden. Walk DMC himself.

So Darren McFadden, casually stroll, casually stroll DMC. Darren McFadden. Last week I was, I was touting the fact that he had two back to back 100 yard games and Buffalo had given up four 100 yard games in a row. The trend was broken as he only got 99 yards.

He did not get into that triple digits. But this week he's facing Washington. He basically has 300 yard games in a row. Washington is resting their starters on both side of the ball. You know, towards the end of this game, you're not going to, you're not going to have their best defensive players out there. Washington doesn't need a win. The Cowboys need some respect. And I think it's going to come through the legs of Darren McFadden.

I think Dallas right through his legs.

Dallas is going to be interesting for the running back position this offseason. They were very interesting last year and nothing actually really happened. They added Darren McFadden, but will they, will they do it again? Will they punt, roll the dice and say, Darren McFadden, you're our guy, or.

Will they shoplift a guy from another team or something? Yeah, Jordan Matthews is my wide receiver. Start of the week, I'm hopping into the flames.

Against the Buffalo Bills, whose past defense has not been the best, I expect him to do what he does, which is going to get 75 yards and a touchdown, have a great game. He is. If you're talking about, you know, your third wide receiver, your flex option wide receiver too. He's worthy there. He's just so consistent. It's hard to do any kind of a flyer over a guy who has been that solid, start him get a championship.

If you were in a half point or full point PPR league this year and you got to flex Eric Decker every week, you were living large.

Tight end start of the week, Zach Ertz. People listen, love it. Listen, Zach Ertz, this is what he has done the last three weeks. 98 yards, 78 yards, 122 yards. He's, he's broken out. I mean this is a, a pretty quiet breakout that I think that is not getting enough due even from myself. I will, I'll put some, I will shoulder some of this blame. Should have been pushing him harder. He's a guy that we have, we loved in the off season. He was a top tight end target for us before he got hurt. So he's really getting it going and I expect that to continue in a game that could have a lot of points scored. So Zach Ertz, my tight end start of the week.

Yeah, he's a talented guy. Him and Andy, start of the week were the two tight ends preseason that we were talking about the most. So there's a segue.

Okay. Yeah. My tight end start of the week is Travis Kelsey. He's taken on Oakland. He's only started right now in 58% of leagues, and last week he had. Last two weeks, he's had six catches each week. He actually got in the end zone last week. We know we had high hopes for Kelsey, but that doesn't mean you can't roll him up out there as a reliable target. Right Now, Oakland is 30th against the tight end, and this is an important.

Game for Kansas City. They can take the division only if they win this game. So I like that start with Travis Kelsey.

What's hilarious for Travis Kelce, he was a guy that I loved. I tried to get him everywhere, and yet I felt disappointed. But the guy on the year 71, 865 and 5. I mean, that's. That's a good tight end stat line. But you're just disappointed.

I would completely agree with that. In the. An interesting thing to watch will be the Philadelphia running backs. Chip Kelly is gone. Pat Shermer is in. He will. He'll be taking over as the head coach. Is he going to make any kind of rocking of the boat or is it going to be the status quo?

I would guess you're going to see DeMarco Murray. That's what he's going to get. The. He's going to get the chance, the workload of the running back position. But given that they haven't had a lot of time to change schemes and do those things, I don't know how much success he's going to have. And I think this game goes to the air pretty, pretty, you know, early in the game and stays there. Sure.

But as far as pass catchers, you know, Beckham's clear. It's a start every week. I do like Reuben Randall, Zach Ertz. Like I said, I have a lot of confidence in him and I like Will Ty. He disappointed last week, but that's because the entire Giants offense was a disappointment. So I'm good rolling Ty back out this week.

Yeah. I have a hunch about DeMarco Murray this week, that he's going to have a very big, big game.

He's just an inexperienced running back. They haven't run the same system and the same play action in the same zone read type of runs.

Yeah, he's actually. He's definitely going to be out, I think. So it'll be the artist pain show. So I think you can definitely stream artist pain this week. I got no problem with that. It's just a matter of the success of that offense. I think Cam Newton's a great start. I think we all have him at number one.

I do. I have Newton at number one right now. But I'm actually thinking about this. If Ted Ginn is not fully ready to go, can we really have Cam Newton as the number one quarterback? Because the, if you remember that the first half of the year Cam Newton was good, just good. He was solid. It was the second half of the year when Ted Ginn really started to come onto the scene. That's when Cam Newton started putting up the video game, Madden type scores. So if Ted Ginn's not ready to go, does that. Do you have to adjust Cam at all?

It's a worthy thought, but I think you have other options that have risen up. Devin Funches can perform. Jericho Khatri has been okay. I mean, you've got other weapons there. If you were talking about one of the top guys.

I would probably go. Cam Carson I still think is going to have a decent game, but he is playing against the Seattle secondary which he carved up last.

Mike Evans is humongous. That's my perspective. I think Evans is humongous and will be targeted a ton because they'll be down. So I don't really have any problem with Mike Evans against Norman. I mean, you saw last week, I mean Julio Jones. Mike Evans is not Julio Jones, but he's enormous like Julio Jones.

We all, we've seen Mike Evans play against Josh Norman though. Yeah, it did not go well.

I agree. I know. I just. When I've seen Norman play, I've seen James Jones catch passes on Josh Norman because he's big and I think Evans is better than James Jones.

He's not in. No quarterback is invincible. But the last time they played.

I have no problem with doubt. I'm not saying you shouldn't have doubt. I mean you have. If you have other options, go ahead. Stay away from Josh Norman. It's been a wise move. Fantasy owners, he was three.

Mike Evans, last time they played Carolina was three for 32 and that was with eight targets.

That makes sense. Lower ceiling type of game. You know, the run defense for Carolina is fifth in the, in the league. So Jason, how do you feel about Dougie Martin?

I'm okay with Doug Martin this week because I don't think you're going to have a better option. You know, if you were lucky enough to pick up guys like Tim Hightower, then it's, it's an easy call. Tim Hightower will be above Doug Martin, but I think for most players you're going to have to play Doug Martin if he's on your team and he should be okay. I don't expect him to have a big blow up game against the number five rushing defense. But I don't think the fumble is going to stop him from getting the rock. You know, they want that rushing title. He's close to the rushing title and so they should get him involved in this game.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, the second half of the year he's been great, Doug Martin. I mean he's, he has been playing against lower level rushing defenses. So this will be a nice, nice test. For him. But I'm. I'm still comfortable starting him before I.

Move on to the Rams 49ers game. If Ginn starts, do you play again?

[Mike Wright]

Because people have to be a little sour after last week, but he was on quite the roll.

We got to talk about those three guys because if I could have a.

Double set of the week at wide receiver, it would be Amari Cooper. Watching the game last week, Amari Cooper could barely move. He was limping his routes and he could only cut in one direction because of his foot. And now he's going up against the Kansas City secondary. We saw him do great against them early in the year when he was healthy. And I think he could do that again, but only if he's healthy. And maybe this week he gets rest and a miracle cure on that foot. But he has looked progressively worse just physically, just health wise on that foot these last few games. You know, they ended up taking him out for most of the fourth quarter last week because he just looked so unhealthy running around. I haven't seen the practice reports on Cooper specifically, but I do not have high hopes for Amari Cooper against the Kansas City.

[Jason Moore]

We've talked a lot about the Raiders run defense and its improvement in the second half of the season. What does that mean for Chuck Hendrick west in this game? Because west was okay last week.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, he was disappointing considering the matchup, but west is still a guy that he's getting. He's the primary ball carrier and he's, he's very talented catching the ball. He's, he's a, he's a weekly start.

Would you play Carlos Williams this week against the jets or Char Kendrick west in this game against the Raiders?

[Mike Wright]

West, I would play Williams.

So the other, the last person that's worth talking about in this game, The Chiefs are 12th against the run Latavius Murray, who's coming off one of his better games, but he took advantage of a San Diego defense that has been known to give it up to the run. Murray, I think, has an okay baseline.

Yeah, Murray's a guy that you. You have to start. You have to adjust your expectations this week. But he's a starting running back who's still alive in week 17 and gets. It can get a very high workload. So I'm still going to start him.

[Jason Moore]

All right. The Chargers head to Denver to take on the Broncos. Guys, give me some perspective on the fantasy implications of this game. You have Rivers, obviously, Woodhead, who he was okay last week. Really. No other pass catchers. Gates has fallen out of favor with fantasy owners. I know that. So from the San Diego side, start there.

[Andy Holloway]

So I'll start with Woodhead. And I think Woodhead was actually good last week. For some reason not known to us, the Chargers were forcing Donald Brown into the game similar to what they were doing with Melvin Gordon of. We got to get this guy going. We got to get Donald Brown going for some reason.

[Jason Moore]

Well, the reason is you're not going to give Danny Woodhead the ball between the tackles 15 times. That's just excited. It's not going to happen.

[Andy Holloway]

I completely agree with that.

[Mike Wright]

You should in week 17. I mean, they won't. But I'm just saying, if I was the coach, I would.

[Andy Holloway]

I got to look up this ball.

[Mike Wright]

He looked so great.

[Jason Moore]

Why would you do that?

[Mike Wright]

Because he is your best ball carrier through the tackles. He's better than Donald Brown and he's better on the field. He's better in pass protection. He confuses the defense. You don't know whether you're passing or running if you're using the same guy. If I'm the coach, I do it all that being said, they're not going to do it. But they, they, they did in the fourth quarter. You saw, I think you saw that over 90 yards in the fourth quarter, right through the area ground.

[Andy Holloway]

I don't recall. I know that Woodhead was barely into the game until the fourth quarter, and then they started having success. Here's Donald Brown's stat line carrying the ball last week. 14 carries. That's good. You know, at 14, he's got to be running well. 17 yards.

[Mike Wright]

He looked bad every time he touched the ball. I remember texting you guys, like, why is Donald Brown in the game? What are you doing?

[Jason Moore]

Every time I see Donald Brown stat lines, I think about how much he must appreciate Trent Richardson. Trent Richardson got him so much money because he compared held up against Trent Richardson, who was not an NFL running back, we just didn't know it yet. He looked great.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, because everyone's watching going, wow, he is so fast. Trent Richardson's good and this guy is even better.

[Jason Moore]

Yep. Donald Brown, other side of the ball. Brock Osweiler, you've got, you know, Anderson, who's running very well at this time of the year, but limited carries. Hillman got more work. Anderson was by far more efficient, including a big touchdown run last week. Demarys Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, those guys were on and off the field a little bit last week, banged up. You saw Norwood catch some passes. And then you've got the tight end situation there where, by the way, Vernon Davis saw like five snaps.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, that's. That's not been working out for them for, for Detroit. Sanders, Thomas, start him every week. Of the running backs, I prefer CJ Anderson this week, and I honestly think that Anderson can be an okay play this week. The Chargers are bad run defense. They have been bad all year long. Love it. So Anderson's. Anderson's fine play this week. The thing that I wanted to flip back to real quick on Antonio Gates is, is this Antonio Gates last game?

[Mike Wright]

No.

[Andy Holloway]

You think he comes back?

[Mike Wright]

I think he comes back.

I do as well. But you've seen an offense that, since they lost Keenan Allen and Stevie Johnson, his involvement, you know, they can take him out of the game. Basically, they can take Gates out of the game because he's not. He's not going to separate. And I've seen this before. You know, they'll throw a couple guys, jam him at the line. He's not a goal line threat, and then all of a sudden you've lost Antonio Gates. His value.

I am, personally, I'm fine rolling Gates this week. He definitely pooped in his big boy pants last week, but that was coming off of three games in a row with six receptions.

Are the Chiefs still number one against tight ends? The Chiefs, they were number one against tight ends for a very long period of time.

For fantasy scoring, fantasy wise, yes, I believe that's correct. So, I mean, obviously not. Not a.

So now Michael Floyd has a knee problem. Sat out practice. We don't know much about it. He's still expected to play and start. That. That worries me just a little because, you know, I hadn't heard anything about that. And then we see that happening. It gives me a slight, you know, whenever I see an injury or a.

Missed practice, I think he might sit because of that.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, that would be great.

But that's what I think will happen.

And even if he doesn't, whenever I see an injury or a mispractice for any of the Cardinals receivers, what that does to me is it shifts my. Like, it gives me a bump up to the other guys. And I just think they'll be more involved because we've really seen that play out this year. Whoever the injured guy is or whoever's missed practice doesn't perform as well this week and they kind of gain more to other guys.

I would bump Fitz and John Brown up in this game. I completely agree with you. They're not going to take chances with a guy as valuable as Floyd. That offense with Floyd working, playing at max capacity is important.

What? So let's say Floyd does play, though. Then how would you. How are you ordering the receivers?

I would play. I'd order them. John Brown, Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd.

The biggest question to me, if you're looking at do I start Russell Wilson? What do you believe their offensive line is? If, if Seattle's offensive line is back to being very porous and not a strength of their team combined with Arizona, the way that they looked last week, I mean, so that's. This is ultimate recency bias for me.

They can't run the ball. You know, Seattle can't run the ball right now. They don't have options to run the ball. So it's one dimensional.

[Andy Holloway]

So if they, if, if that's what you're buying into, then Russell Wilson is in trouble this week.

Okay, yeah, I see what you're saying. And the fact that they can't run the ball hurts their offensive lines.

Obviously Rogers has weapons that are not dependable. He's got a running game that's not dependable you've seen but he's still Aaron Rodgers. And every once in a while Aaron Rodgers can drop five touchdowns on a defense. I don't think it's going to be the Vikings.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, the.

[Andy Holloway]

He dropped 212 yards and two touchdowns on them last time. But here starting in reverse order so from week 16, counting back, here's his touchdowns through the air. One one, two, two one, two, two. That's not that, that's not the fantasy output you want.

[Jason Moore]

Does he get Rogers?

[Andy Holloway]

Probably.

[Jason Moore]

Okay. He probably gets at home.

[Mike Wright]

They're at home. So example of how I feel about him. I have Russell Wilson one spot ahead of Aaron Rodgers.

[Andy Holloway]

So Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers?

[Mike Wright]

I would start Russell Wilson.

[Andy Holloway]

Okay. I'm just making sure you're confident in that.

[Mike Wright]

That's, that's how I see it.

[Jason Moore]

Well, Russell Wilson represents especially if they don't have a running game. Cardinals can't get to the edge very well. He can run the ball. He should give you a baseline that's.

[Mike Wright]

He could very easily, even in a, in a bad performance get 60 yards on the ground from scrambles and I.

[Jason Moore]

Would rather play him than Ryan.

[Mike Wright]

That's a touchdown, you know, just with his legs on the ground.

[Jason Moore]

And it's, it's coincidental these games are back to back here in our kind of analysis because same problem, Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers offensive line can't protect them right now. And so at least in recency like you said, Seattle's been playing well but they had some opponents without pass rushes and now the packers take on a Vikings team that is. I think they're locked and loaded to, you know, the packers are favored.

[Mike Wright]

Now is this game for the.

[Jason Moore]

This game is for the division and I'm, I'm going to take the Vikings to win the game.

[Mike Wright]

Ooh, and this is at lambo, right? Yes.

[Jason Moore]

Three point favorites, 45 and a half over under. I'm going to take the Vikings on the back of Adrian Peterson to win the division.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, I don't have any problem with that. I'm surprised that this isn't a pick them game anyways. I guess they're just giving the landlord.

[Jason Moore]

I'm not because they're the packers are leading the division and they're at home. Those are reasons to be favored.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, but they also are coming off of a devastating loss. They have been not themselves recently. And the Vikings are coming off of a crushing victory, so.

[Jason Moore]

That's right. So any wide receiver you want to start in this game on either team.

[Andy Holloway]

That is crazy town.

[Mike Wright]

Crazy town. Because the answer is no crazy. I mean, who. Who would you rather start, Randall Cobb or Stefan Diggs?

[Andy Holloway]

Cobb in that situation, maybe.

[Jason Moore]

You know, I think the best. I think the best start of the game. The best start of the game is.

[Mike Wright]

James Jones at wide receiver.

[Jason Moore]

At wide receiver across both teams, James Jones is the guy highest touchdown chance and yeah. Longer plays, seemingly, you know, targeted regularly. You know, Stefan Diggs, he can do it. He showed he could come back and do it a couple weeks ago. He'd be the next on the list for me. And I would leave everybody else on the sideline.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah.

[Jason Moore]

And I would. I would throw my head back in wonderment because it just didn't seem like that would be the case for these guys at the beginning of the year. Eddie Lacy. What is the tale of Eddie Lacy? What is he doing this game? Oh, fantasy owners need to know who to start Eddie Lacey over to win their week 17 weeks. We have him one spot behind Rashad Jennings in our consensus, two spots behind Jeremy Hill, three behind Bilal Powell, and just ahead of James White, Jeremy Langford, Javorius Allen.

[Mike Wright]

I think that's exactly where he should be. If you're in a ppr, though, I would put White ahead of White ahead of Lacey.

[Andy Holloway]

And I have. I have that. I want to have confidence in Eddie Lacey this Eddie Lacy this week. That just seems like it's going to be cold. It's outside.

[Jason Moore]

At home.

[Andy Holloway]

At home, Eddie Lacy has just dominated in these circumstances, yet I don't have full confidence in him, which is.

[Mike Wright]

It's really unfortunate since week one when Minnesota got gashed, remember by Carlos Hyde. Right. In that crazy game. Since then, Minnesota has given up three total touchdowns to the running back on the year.

[Jason Moore]

Let me put it this way, Mike. Would you start CJ Anderson and your hunch about him this week against San Diego? Would you rather start Eddie Lacy this week?

[Andy Holloway]

Oh, man, I think I'd. I think I'd go Anderson there.

[Mike Wright]

Anderson, to me, has a better touchdown opportunity.

[Andy Holloway]

I mean, it's a. It's similar situation where him and Hillman are splitting and Lacey and Starks are splitting. So I guess I would lean to the. To the matchup. Against the Chargers.

[Jason Moore]

All right, any final words on this matchup before we hit the mailbag?

[Andy Holloway]

No, just that it stay away from the receiver. What a world we are in where we say, hey, which guys. Which packers receivers are you starting?

[Mike Wright]

None of them.

[Andy Holloway]

None. Oh, that makes me sick.

[Mike Wright]

It is a weird world. It is. It is a weird world where, you know, we're sitting here saying, okay, most weeks lately, do you start Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett, but you don't start James Jones and Randall Cobb. What a weird, weird year. Maybe. Maybe that'll be part of our New Year's resolutions. Just, things change. Be ready for it. Jeremy in Eugene, Oregon. All right. You got me to the title game, he says, and I'm going for the win. For the most part.

Yes.

You should always try.

Go for the win once you're there. For the most part, I'm sticking with my studs, even though they've been up and down. C. Miller, Lamar need to know who to play at my flex spot. Golden Tate against the Bears, Carlos Williams against the jets, or Kamar, not Clay Aiken against the Bengals. This is a PPR league. Help help him out.

[Mike Wright]

Wow, that is tough.

[Andy Holloway]

Ooh.

[Mike Wright]

Golden Tate's been on fire. Carlos Williams has a tough matchup and is somewhat splitting. Not. Not too much. And Kamar has been consistent and solid.

[Jason Moore]

I am going to say Carlos Williams.

[Andy Holloway]

I would say Golden Tate.

[Mike Wright]

And for the tie break, it is close, but because it's a half point ppr, I'm going to go Golden Tate. He's getting enough receptions lately that I think his baseline is high enough, and he's been getting in the end zone, so it's probably.

[Jason Moore]

Probably Good advice. Good logic there. I think he's a little safer than Williams, too. Bort in Springfield.

[Mike Wright]

Nonetheless, Bort, I've got a pool of running backs in my championship game that all seem to be the same level. Will you help me pick three of them? Buck Allen, Tim Hightower.

[Mike Wright]

Ding, ding, ding, ding. Yeah, he's not the same level.

Frank Gore, Carlos Williams and Denard Robinson. Full point ppr.

[Mike Wright]

This is easy. For me, it's the first three. It's Buck Allen, Tim Hightower, and Frank Gore. That's. To me, it's easy. You can give me a question between Buck Allen and Carlos Williams, but I would. In a ppr. Go Buck Allen.

I completely agree with everything Jason said. And that also feels gross.
