So it's a torn Achilles for Arian Foster.

Ironic, because he's probably the Achilles heel of many teams. Hey, you know, I am just. Three games. You burn bright, my friend. You burn bright. I got an email. Yeah, I got a lot of emails, a lot of tweets, and, you know, they were all always in capital letters and they said things like, I was bulldozing my league and then you reaped Arian Foster. You know, I reap myself, okay? I have a team. I. What did I tell you guys? I told the Foot Clan, the listeners, about my team in our league of record. They had all the points and good team play, but I was one in four. Well, I'm going to win again, thanks to Arian. His final gift to me as a 29 point game in that league. And I'm going to win. I'll be three and four. But I was looking so good because Arian was there.

Did you guys have any, you know, real quick weekend impressions before I move on?

No. Let's move it on.

Okay. Well, in lieu of a quick question today, I'm gonna do something different. I've got some Monday morning confessions. All right? So I'm gonna point at you, Mike, and you're gonna give me a little lead into each of these. And then I'm gonna just go on a mini rant about these four things.

[Mike Wright]

Confessions.

[Andy Holloway]

All right? I'm gonna start with the Toby Gearhart, Gus Bradley situation. I have. I have publicly said I am a Gus Bradley supporter. All you Jacksonville fans out there, you know, I've supported the team. I'm done. It's over. You gave the ball to Toby Gerhardt four times on the one yard line and watched him get stuffed over and over and over again. Yes, I know. You're not the offensive coordinator calling the plays. You're the head coach. Say something into your microphone. Say, get him off the field, T.J. yelden. Owners are mad at you, and I'm not even one of them, but they got to be mad at you. I'm mad at just, you know, the integrity of the NFL being poo pooed on by Toby Gearhart.

[Mike Wright]

There's. It's ridiculous. Ridiculous that you have Yelden, who is. And he's. He's playing. Well, not well.

[Jason Moore]

He was on fire. He was running through everything.

[Andy Holloway]

And if they, you know, they won the game. If they hadn't won the game. Oh, my goodness. All right, I'm gonna move on to Rashard Matthews. I've got to confess. You're legit. You're a good player. I thought devonte Parker. I thought devonte Parker would move past you. I. I thought it would be Easy. But now you've put up double digits in five to six games. You made a monster play, taken that pass all the way to the house through. Honestly, that's the worst defense I have ever seen played in that game in the first half by Houston. Well, I feel like the safety ran angles that aren't even part of geometry to miss tackle. I mean, it was disgusting.

[Mike Wright]

It was some of the worst defense I've ever seen. Until Jarvis Landry did the exact same thing about three plays later.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, exactly. So, all right, you guys will like this one. Dante Moncrief, you are a legit fantasy option. Double digits in six. Double digits in six of seven games. There's nothing I can say other than the fact he's putting up touchdowns and he's obviously going to stay productive with Andrew Luck. So there you go. All right, last one, last confession. Todd Gurley is the best running back in the National Football League.

[Mike Wright]

Oh, my. We're already there.

[Andy Holloway]

We are. And, you know, this is less of a. This is not me coming back off of something I said. I thought he would take the lead role and literally run with it, but not like this. Man, he broke so many tackles in that game. Two touchdowns, 32.2 points. I believe he broke some kind of record on points. I mean, it was like 95 of the yards were after contact. Believable.

[Jason Moore]

Didn't he have negative yards after the first quarter? Something like that. And then he finished with 160 something yards.

[Andy Holloway]

128. Otherwise he would have broke the record for three straight 140 plus games.

[Jason Moore]

Ridiculous.

[Andy Holloway]

But he's very, very good.

[Mike Wright]

He's also the first rook to have his first three games over 100 starting first three starts, over 125 yards on the ground.

[Andy Holloway]

I sent a text to the girly owner in my league just basically saying, is there any, you know, any possible way under the sun that you would ever trade him to me? And he said no, and that he's his franchise player forever. So I guess, you know, until it's probably better gets hurt or something, it's.

[Mike Wright]

Better for the fantasy football community that he's not on your team.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. So that's it for my fantasy confessions of the weekend. Let's go ahead and get into the rewind.

All right, I got to get to the injury news. You guys give me your reactions to some of these injuries. Obviously, Arian Foster, down with the Achilles.

[Jason Moore]

My reaction to that is, if you're confessing Gus Bradley, how dare you put Toby Gerhardt in for four plays in a row, O'Brien, you're down by a kajillion points and you got one of the most injury prone guys. What in the world was he even doing in that game? That's all I'm saying.

[Mike Wright]

Here's, here's my argument to that. They're always down by a billion.

[Andy Holloway]

I almost made the same joke just now.

[Mike Wright]

So they're always in garbage time. So you just, you have to play Foster.

[Andy Holloway]

He was, he was playing well too. So. Okay, so fantasy implications of the injury.

[Jason Moore]

You drop them.

[Andy Holloway]

Well, yeah, I know you drop Arian Foster unless you're in a dynasty, in which case you probably still drop him. He's a quick healer, but I would put him on your. You can keep him on a dynasty.

[Mike Wright]

All right, who are we picking up?

[Andy Holloway]

Well, that's the question. I think it's got to be Alfred Blue just for between the tackle stuff. Chris Polk can't do it between the tackles. I've seen that too often. Grimy Grimes. No, no, Grimy. Yeah, it's going to be an ensemble of mediocrity.

[Mike Wright]

The problem is when you look at the snaps and touches and things of the first couple of weeks without Aaron Foster, it's just a mess of one guy had it here, one guy had it there. Alfred, one good game, they all stunk. Arian Foster actually on the ground was not performing very well. This was his first week where he was over three yards.

[Andy Holloway]

That's correct.

[Mike Wright]

So there's.

[Andy Holloway]

And we still put up 30 points.

[Mike Wright]

There's honestly nobody that I'm going to pick up from the Texans backfield.

[Andy Holloway]

I would spend my fab on Alfred Blue because in the right matchup he's had good games.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, I agree to get a starting running back. Yeah, he's a spot flex play or a spot running back play on a good matchup. Sure.

[Mike Wright]

But this is not Sharkandrick west situation.

[Andy Holloway]

No, it's not. I mean it's. It's going to be game flow dependent. Chris Polk will be in there when they're down.

[Mike Wright]

I'm referring to like waiver priority and fab budget. I'm not blowing my fab budget.

[Andy Holloway]

Some people will.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, but I'm advising.

[Jason Moore]

Sure.

[Mike Wright]

I would not do that.

[Andy Holloway]

Philip Dorset, fractured ankle, four to six weeks. This only further solidifies the Moncrief involvement. What about the Andre Johnson target numbers? Are they going to change?

[Mike Wright]

They. They might go up. I don't know. I still don't have. I don't feel he will be a weekly reliable.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, it didn't seem like Dorsett was really cutting in much anyway, so I don't. I don't expect anything to change.

[Andy Holloway]

What's the latest on Vincent Jackson's injury? Because I had heard. Knee injury. He missed some snaps.

[Mike Wright]

No, he left the game.

[Andy Holloway]

Right. He left in the third.

[Mike Wright]

I haven't heard an update of. Of how he's doing. If they've had to MRI it, if. Or what. Anything that's going on, we'll have to wait till tomorrow or even maybe early.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, I was going to say we'll have to watch and see, but this is great.

[Andy Holloway]

He was questionable to return. That was the team designation at the end of the game. So that.

[Mike Wright]

So was Peters last night.

[Andy Holloway]

Well, and he's. The report came out with Peters that he's fine.

I'm saying. But you watched him go down. No, I know he's questionable. No, he's not. He's not coming back.

Fair point. Fair point. Vincent Jackson, knee injury. Antonio Gates was out.

[Mike Wright]

Although I've heard it's a very low grade. It was an McLain that he could have. You know, it was a. Will he go? Won't he go? He. They sat him out.

The Chargers. They really got people yesterday with. In. In the morning. All. Everybody, I'm including all the big wig reporters, like the big network guys were saying, Melvin Gordon is out.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, he is.

[Mike Wright]

He is out.

And we said, yeah, he's gonna be out. Get him out of your lineup. And Antonio Gates was. Well, he's a. Game time. We get to game time. Antonio Gates is out. Melvin Gordon was in.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, but I actually like that they did this. It avoids the Chris Ivory thing that happened earlier in the year where he was active, but then he doesn't play at all. Melvin Gordon actually wasn't playing in the game. You know, they put him active and said he wasn't going to play, and he pretty much wasn't. It was almost like when the game got completely out of hand, then they're like, well, let's go see what Melvin Gordon can do. Or, you know, it was almost like it was so weird, like garbage time coming in. But it showed that. How much of it was the ankle?

[Andy Holloway]

It was exactly what I was going to say. It's not the ankle. If you put a guy in late in garbage time.

[Jason Moore]

Right.

[Andy Holloway]

It's. You're being cast down for your fumbles.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, that's. That's a scarier situation there, hopefully, you guys. You know, we say at the beginning of the show, our Twitter handles, but it is, you Know if you want our advice up to the minute, Twitter's pretty important because we'll post things there. You know, before the game we told people get Gates out. We recommended Jordan Reed and Ladarius Green. And if you, if you took them out and went with one of those two options, you were pretty happy this week.

What's the latest on Matthew Stafford's left hand?

[Mike Wright]

He's x rays on it so it's his non throwing hand for every all accounts are he's going to be okay and he'll be good to go next week.

[Andy Holloway]

Josh McCown, shoulder injury looked like he was hurting in post game interviews, man.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, it was a rough game for Josh McCown. He was getting beat up not only by the players on the field, he was getting beat up by the environment of the stadium. I don't know if you guys saw Josh McCown run into the wall, but it was, it was one of those things where because he's on the turf so that he's trying to slow down as he runs off and out of bounds, hits the. The patch that is no turf and just completely slides right into the wall. And he looked like he got hurt on that, that unfortunate incident. But it could be, could be.

Manzel told you guys that Rams defense was going to be a home run this week.

[Mike Wright]

Yes, they were.

[Andy Holloway]

The home run. Nick Mangold center.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, we most on the list because.

And then Joseph Randall came out early and gave way to a very good Darren McFadden game. Randall Hurt is kind of like. What was it like an oblique kind of back injury. Yeah. And then Dion Lewis and Jeremy Macklin both missed. They were both kind of surprised inactives. Macklin was cleared. They held him out as a precaution, which you know, I thought was ridiculous as a 1 in 14. But then they won. So okay, I'm wrong on that. Dion Lewis, he was out. This caused problems for fantasy owners and I don't mean Louis fantasy owners. This caused problems for Leger Blunt fantasy owners because you're probably, you're on the cusp. Do I start blunt? Do I not start blunt over other flex options? When you hear Dion Lewis is going to be out, I would absolutely. If I was a Blunt owner, I would have been tempted to throw him right into the lineup regardless of the matchup because of the bulk of carries, goal line opportunities. You're on the field. He had a passing touchdown the week before. So it really. And Blunt was like three for negative three.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, it was terrible. It's almost a blessing that it was against the jets because as an owner, if you've got someone else on your bench, it helps you make that decision. Like, oh, I, you know, I know he's going to be in, but it's against the Jets. Let me put, you know, someone else in if you've got Martavis Bryant on your bench or something like that. So I think it was good that it was against the jets to get them out. We recommend the not starting blunt. In fact, last week, the two guys that Andy, you asked us who are we, who are we worried about in that Patriots game? You said Dion Lewis because of the injury and I said Leguerra you did because of the matchup.

[Mike Wright]

So in speaking to the Joseph Randall injury, we saw the reins. The reins came off and he was unleashed. We saw Kristen Michaels workload increase 700%.

[Jason Moore]

So Mike hanging on.

[Mike Wright]

So here's the deal.

Please don't.

[Mike Wright]

No, no, no. He's just, he's just a complete lottery stash at the moment. And I will say I have no idea what's going on with Joseph Randall's injury. No, no. Just listen.

Arian Foster or Kristen Michael rest of season.

[Mike Wright]

If, if the cat. If Randall is going to miss time and the Cowboys have to rely on Darren McFadden, then I won't drop him.

[Andy Holloway]

The amount of conditionals in Christine Michaels career to become a good player is mounting. It is mounting.

[Mike Wright]

I'm not just going to throw him away.

I would absolutely throw him away. If you have Christian Michael, I would. I'd rather have Alfred Blue all day long.

If I can be a. I agree. I would. That's saying I'm just not going to. I'm not going to just grab some guy off waivers who I think is a bum. But if there's someone who's going to get playtime, I would.

Correct. If I can be a tiebreaker here, drop Chris and Michael, he's taking up a bench spot that he shouldn't be taking up. And the nice thing is, is that.

When you trade on to Mike, when.

And so if you're the Cowboys, if it wasn't for that, you know, that false start, the Cowboys were just going to run the ball 70 times on that last drive and get down there. But the false start made it to where they were in a down and distance where they couldn't run and you know, Castle just couldn't.

Yeah. If only Lamar Miller could play four quarters with this new offense. They were destroying him so bad last week that he sat.

Yeah. And then Derek Carr had a. That was a fun game to watch. I love, you know, the Raiders, it used to be like you'd want to start a defense against them. I don't want to start a defense against the Raiders anymore. Amari Cooper is a machine. Michael Crabtree is great for a number two type of guy. You're lining up, you know, Cooper destroyed for debt, right?

[Mike Wright]

Yes. Yeah.

[Andy Holloway]

I mean.

And who is. Who coming into this week had been one of the top corners, and I don't know if you guys.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, he did.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. No, absolutely. He went up and had a great long catch. But a lot of the yards, it was so brilliant. I mean, they came off of a bye week, and their screen game was so well developed with blockers going downfield. They, you know.

Yeah, I mean, it was.

That one big play was huge.

No, there were three. There were three super long screens that were fantastic through that game. I'm telling you, I didn't think much of Bill Musgrave as an offensive coordinator or Del Rio as a head coach, but coming off of a buy, they exploited exactly what needed to be exploited. I was very impressed.

I'll say this, though. 5. You know, you add three minutes to the clock, they lose the game.

[Mike Wright]

Did. I was going to say. Did you guys see the ceremony after the game? No, no. Play the audio. Play the audio.

Yeah. Philip Rivers had a brutal game, and yet.336. 3. So basically, here's the situation in fantasy, we'll move on to wide receivers. And that was very funny because it's true. Philip Rivers, garbage time master of this game, which back to back weeks. Andrew Luck was competing with him in the final bout, by the way. But the thing about it is this, if you have a fantasy quarterback and he plays well, he gets you fantasy points. If you have a fantasy quarterback whose team gets horribly down and he's not pulled, he gets you fantasy points. The way that you don't get fantasy points is when you get that Matt Ryan, middling kind of 10, 7 game where the game's close. And you know, my point is this. Your odds of opportunity for your quarterback are that he will score almost in every game because Brian Hoyer is one of the worst quarterbacks in the league. Josh McCallum is not a great quarterback. These are guys that week after week put up numbers. Not necessarily every single week, but very often. Even Kaepernick, those guys. So. All right, wide receiver, stud muffins, Ty Hilton, 4 for 152.

[Mike Wright]

All he needs Ty Hilton, all he needs is the defensive back who is covering him in single man coverage to fall down.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, I don't know how you're single Manning to I Hilton in a game like that, but whatever. Nate Washington had nine for 127, two touchdowns. I want to ask about this because Cecil Schwartz was back. Washington came back this week. Hopkins didn't have his through the roof game. What do we expect going forward from the Nate Washington, Cecil Schwartz, Houston wide.

[Jason Moore]

Receiver corps going forward? I expect what we've seen before this game. There was great coverage on Hopkins and then all the targets started going Nate Washington's way. I don't think that that's going to continue, especially as Cecil Schwartz gets healthy.

[Andy Holloway]

All right. Jarvis Landry had a big game. Mike Evans had a big game. Amari Cooper had the big game we talked about earlier.

[Mike Wright]

Mike Evans.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, that's the guy that excites me going forward, especially if anything is serious with Vincent Jackson, Mike Evans, and he's giving me a look because I have been down on him and yet I traded for him this week, started him and it was glorious. So thank you, Mike Evans. I hope that you have a great future with Jameis Winston.

We don't have the time to get into the Mike Evans conversation right now. Stefon Diggs, baby. Six four, one away and a touchdown.

[Mike Wright]

Not touchdown, not just, oh, that was a legitimate touchdown.

Full extension over the shoulder, diving in the end zone. Beat. He double moved his guy. There was no one within 50. You know, I've heard on. I don't forget what station. There's a difference between open and uncovered. He had gotten to the point on that route where he was uncovered. And Stefon Diggs, man, just watch him play.

[Jason Moore]

I have not seen a guy this year make more like the amount of miraculous catches. And that's why you want him in Minnesota, because Teddy Bridgewater isn't playing good. You don't have to make good this week. Well, I'm saying you don't have to make miraculous catches when. When the ball's put on you. But Stefan Diggs has made so many catches that if he was targeting someone else there, if he was targeting Charles Johnson or Mike Wallace, they would not have caught.

[Andy Holloway]

I have to agree with you because Wallace had like nine targets last week and he caught three passes. So Stefan Diggs is getting separation. He's young, he's a rookie. He's making plays. And he had his first touchdown this week. Robert Woods. Robert woods, we talked him up big time. Nine for 84 and a touchdown. Just plain old opportunity. It just seemed like with no Watkins, no Harvin, and what was going on there, Garbage time. What really wasn't garbage time, it was comeback. It was comeback time, and Robert woods had a very good game. So let's talk running backs. Lamar Miller's the headliner. 14 for 175, one touchdown, three for 61 and a screen pass. Touchdown through the air. And then he got to rest because that game was a blowout. You know, they figured some things out. Giving the ball to Lamar Miller, to.

[Mike Wright]

One of your best offensive players.

[Andy Holloway]

So Lamar Miller moving forward. Well, he. From this point on in the season. Do you consider him in running back one in fantasy football? Is that overstating it?

[Mike Wright]

I don't.

[Jason Moore]

I don't think it is. Although I believe they've got a terrible matchup this week. Does anybody know who they play?

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, they play.

Okay, that makes sense. That makes sense. Aaron Foster had a big game. 18 for 59 and 1, 5 for 66 and 1 through the air. I'm saying his name for the last time. Darren McFadden, 29 for 152 and a touchdown. Honestly, I mean, I've watched Darren McFadden for years. He looked pretty good because he Got downhill much quicker than he'd been getting downhill. And that's all there is to it. He also lost a screen pass. Touchdown on a. Was it a hold?

[Jason Moore]

It was not.

[Andy Holloway]

It was not a hole. It was something away from the ball.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, I think. Oh, I know what it was. It was when. When the ball was in the air, they called. The guy was already blocking.

[Andy Holloway]

There you go.

[Jason Moore]

I mean, but it wasn't.

[Mike Wright]

The crazy thing about. Darren McFadden is in Oakland. If you. You just. Just eyeballs and looking at actual metrics, he was one of the worst running backs in the league. In the league. And it wasn't just Oakland because Latavius Murray and other guys had some success while. While DMC was over. There you come. This was a completely. This looked very different for Darren McFadden.

[Andy Holloway]

So let's talk fantasy strategy with Darren McFadden right now. He's probably unowned in some leagues. He's owned in most. Yeah, but what can you. The problem is, is people put Joey Randall into their lineup this week. People might have put Christian Michael into their lineup. However, what do you do with McFadden if you roll them out there? Are you risking 2.9 points?

[Jason Moore]

I don't think you are. Because I believe from that performance, I really believe that they have to move Darren McFadden into the starting role. However, their next two matchups this coming week is against Seattle. I'm not playing any cowboy, not knowing exactly who's going to have it against Seattle. So if you've got Darren McFadden and you can get value from him, let's say there's the Joseph Randle owner and they want to just kind of hedge your bets. I would trade him. I doubt you can get value, so you can't drop him. You kind of have to hold on to him, and I don't think you can, you know, play him against.

[Mike Wright]

It's all about the injury for. And with the. To start the game, Joseph Randall had a couple good runs. They were to the outside, but he was gaining yards.

[Jason Moore]

But has Joseph Randall ran well in the fourth quarter of just about any game this year?

[Andy Holloway]

No, because Darren in the fourth quarter.

[Jason Moore]

Was running fantastic and doing what Dallas was wanting and looking for all year.

[Mike Wright]

Hasn't ran this well. I think a lot of it has to do with the Giants rushing defense.

[Andy Holloway]

And regardless, I mean, if Randall's healthy, they're not giving the ball to McFadden every play of the game. I mean, McFadden either won't last or, I mean, it just doesn't make any sense with what they're doing. So I think he's going to be a little hit and miss. But he's the guy to own right now, right?

[Mike Wright]

Oh, yeah. You have to pick him up and just in case Randall's out. But it's, it's very similar to the Philadelphia situation where Ryan Matthews clearly outperformed Murray. But moving forward, Murray will still be.

[Andy Holloway]

The starting point, without question, and he should have been. Matthews had a really big game on. Was it six or nine carries? I think it was six carries for 97 and a touchdown.

[Mike Wright]

Man, and he looked fast.

[Andy Holloway]

Wow. That cutback on the 63 yard touchdown was impressive.

[Mike Wright]

And I was telling you guys, it was just. It is. It's sad to me as I've been a big Ryan Matthews fan. I know he gets hurt all the time, blah, blah, blah. But just watching when he's healthy, he is great. He is a very talented running back and it's just, it's sad to me that he has to be a backup.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, you said Right, right to us at kickoff before the game, like it's, it's a travesty that he's the number two there. And then you watch the game and you're just so frustrated going, why is he the number two?

[Andy Holloway]

Well, I. No, I don't have that perspective. Well, I do, because that perspective, like, somehow denigrates DeMarco Murray. I don't think DeMarco Murray is a bad runner. I think he's a great runner. And I think when Ryan Matthews has to take higher carry numbers, I mean, you don't know how that turns out. This is the classic situation where you get limited work, the defense doesn't, you know, they don't prepare for you and you make big plays and then you give. You know, I just don't think it's so black and white at all.

[Mike Wright]

To me, it's the difference between Matthews and Murray. I still like Murray. I think he's good. But Murray running whenever they run him to the side and his lateral movement, he looks very slow compared to Ryan Matthews. And they try and do that a lot. And I was thinking watching it, like, I wonder what the success percentage of when they try and run Murray to the outside is. And they had a couple of them this past week, but it just, it seems like it fails more often.

[Andy Holloway]

Losing, Losing Peters last night obviously didn't help. Mark Ingram had a very impressive game. 14 for 1, 143 and a touchdown snaked twice. He did.

[Mike Wright]

One of the times kind of made sense because it was after a long run. The other one was like, what's going on? Why is.

Yeah. But Carlos Hyde did have another bad game and this is just a product of, you know, I think he's running hard. I watched this game to look specifically at Hyde to say, well, is he, is something wrong? I think he's a little banged up.

Yeah, he's banged up and the offense is doing nothing to provide for him. So, you know, if you didn't cash in on him earlier, you're probably not going to get the kind of value you'd want for him now. So.

And then wide receivers, the tandem of Eli and ODB obviously was a problem. He only had 4 for 35 in a game where, like I said, the offense just didn't have to do that much.

I had a thought. Odell Beckham of. Jordan Matthews needs to talk to Odell Beckham and figure out what kind of gloves that Beckham wears, because he needs to get a set of those gloves.

[Andy Holloway]

He should be in this, too. Jordan Matthews is playing very bad.

Jordan Matthews absolutely pooped in his pants. Whatever size pants he has, he pooped them.

And he's. It's not like he's not getting an opportunity. He is just. He is dropping his opportunity.

Well, and Sam Bradford, he had a lot. I mean, he didn't look good again. I mean, he looked really bad. In fact, during part of this game, I was driving and I saw that Sanchez had a. I just assumed they replaced him when I saw Sanchez had a throw and, you know, they. They hadn't. But he just doesn't look good. And his receivers, he doesn't have the receiving core he needs. I really don't think so. Huff had an end zone drop. I mean, everyone was dropping. Nobody's making a play. You're. You're catching the routine pass in Philadelphia, but you're not making a play. I mean, Ertz is doing everything he can to get targeted 4,000 times in the end zone. He cannot come down with a touchdown.

[Mike Wright]

Well, first of all, Norman, you don't go after Josh Norman in the end zone.

[Andy Holloway]

I agree with that.

[Mike Wright]

And speaking of drops, just a very quick note. Brandon Lefell. I actually feel positive still about Brandon Lefell. I would, too, because he's getting the targets. He got replaced by Dobson, but clearly the Patriots don't think Dobson is the answer. So I still have confidence in Lafell.

[Andy Holloway]

He wasn't the only one dropping it. Edelman dropped the wide open. Touchdown. Did you see that?

[Mike Wright]

Edelman has nine fingers right now.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, but.

So just moving forward, I still have confidence in Lefell.

All right. Golden Tate had a bad game, only 2 for 14. Vincent Jackson due the injury, plus he wasn't targeted a lot early in the game. This was a Mike Evans explosion. So Vincent Jackson only had one for 13. And Jason's chuckling.

They had the ball down eight miles. Austin had a brutal drop and the game and the game ended. So it is what it is. I'm done. One of my other confessions here. Give me a confessions. I'm done predicting the Philadelphia Eagles offense gets it together. I'm done.

Yeah, it's over. I can agree.

It's over. Julius Thomas had a horrible game at the tight end position. One for four.

[Jason Moore]

That wasn't. I wouldn't get too scared on Julius Thomas because if you remember that game flow, it was ridiculous. Jacksonville scores two defensive touchdowns and then pretty much the passing game was done for three and a half.

[Mike Wright]

Did you, did you want to have a confession about Alan Hearns?

[Andy Holloway]

No, absolutely not. And I will debate you on Alan Hearns through the roof before that last touchdown, which by the way, had the game bounced any other direction. They don't have to throw there.

[Jason Moore]

You mean the one that was a really impressive catch in the end zone?

[Andy Holloway]

I'm saying the one that gave him like two catches. I mean, he had one for 23. Everything in that game went that way. That's fantasy football. I don't think Alan Hearns is. I mean, he's fine. I'm not saying he's not good. But I mean, on a week to week basis, I'm going, you know, okay, do, do I start Marvin Jones or.

[Mike Wright]

Alan Hearn on a two week basis? If you had started Alan Hearns the previous six weeks, you would have been very happy.

[Andy Holloway]

I agree. I agree.

[Jason Moore]

But Alan Robinson.

[Andy Holloway]

But you know, that same argument worked with Alan Hearns for about four weeks last year too. We would have had the same conversation and he might do the same thing Moncrief's doing and prove me wrong. I'm just thinking when I want the target numbers, Alan Robinson's getting the target numbers. Alan Robinson is getting the production.

There's no argument of Robinson over Hurtens. Robinson is a emerging elite.

Well, that, that is. That's really scary. I don't know how we're going to survive. All right, I've got a question from Chip. He wrote in. He's in a family league, guys, and I want to talk about family leagues for a second. He is in a league. His wife and her parents are in this league. It's a family league. I know you guys play in some of those. He cannot find a way to convince them to trade with him because they're afraid that he is basically taking advantage of them all the time. And so basically every offer he makes, somebody else talks, talks them out of it. So how do you approach basically family leagues in these situations?

[Jason Moore]

I got your answer. Normally when people are afraid to make trades because they feel like they're getting taken advantage of, it's because they don't know enough, right? In family leagues, they feel like they don't know what's going on. They're not confident. So here's what you do. You take their phone and you pull out their podcast app and you download the fantasy footballers on it and you say, hey, listen, okay? Because it's still going to take them a while to Bridge the gap to you. Those are the people that are in your league that you can say here. It's fun, you'll enjoy the show and you'll learn a lot, and then you'll make a trade. Because in this question, he's got, like, a great trade offer that seems really good for them, really good for you. But you can't make a trade. We deal with that sometimes as being, you know, quote unquote, you know, famous football experts where people are afraid to trade with us.

[Mike Wright]

This is a bit of a longer email, but at the end, he's talking about one of the trades that got rejected. He offered Alan Robinson and David Carr for Eli Manning and the trade was rejected by the wife because the wife consulted her brother and they both decided that that was not a good.

[Jason Moore]

Exactly. They need the fantasy football.

That's a problem. All right, Jake in St. Paul, who do you trust more rest of the season, Brandon Cooks or Brandon lefell?

If you got wide receiver depth. Let's see it. So John Brown has his clear wide receiver two in front of Diggs. Marvin Jones. You can probably get away with Diggs and Marvin Jones as your two.

I don't know if I'd want to.

I'm just saying you can get away with it.

[Andy Holloway]

But he already has Gurley Murray, Matt Jones. No, I don't do the deal.

[Mike Wright]

Really?

I do the deal. I think that Latavius Murray is an okay, too. I actually think he's a good two. But Matt Jones as your flex. I mean, I would rather have Eddie Lacy as my flex.

[Andy Holloway]

Why is Matt Jones his flex?

[Jason Moore]

Well, I'm just saying if those are his two. If he wants to roll a running back in the flex, I mean, are you going to roll C.J. anderson?

[Andy Holloway]

Nola? No.

[Mike Wright]

My rule of thumb is I always want to have three startable running backs, at least on my roster at all times. And while Lacy. Sure, he's not startable right now, but if he could become an RB one for the rest of the season, we just. We don't know. So I would take the deal because I'm more confident being able to find a wide receiver.

[Andy Holloway]

Jorgen in Williamsburg, who scores more points tonight in a PPR league. Justin for set or Steve Smith?

[Jason Moore]

Justin for set. Justin for set. In my opinion, I think it'll be easy. Cardinals have struggled a little bit from time to Time on the screen game by Adrian Peterson has looked great against number one wide receivers. So I'm Adrian Peterson.

[Andy Holloway]

Patrick Peterson has looked great against number one wide receivers.

And Bishop Sankey got two snaps. Yeah, Dexter McCluster is kind of the guy. Well, as far as snaps, Antonio Andrews did get a lot, get some carries, but I believe he only played about 17 snaps. McCluster in a PPR is A. Is kind of a sneaky guy right now.

So Antonio Andrews was great.

You know what?

The Titans were 10 for 57, five and a half a carry. Had a good on the ground game. So I still think he's. I'd rather have Antonio Andrews all day long than McCluster.

The Titans really need that fourth running back in the mix there. It's going to help. It's like New York, New York. There was not enough clarity with three running backs dark. So they bring up fourth running back.

[Andy Holloway]
