Rough week for a lot of people.

Rough week. We've also got our raising canes, Rising stars, three big names. There's no better time than now to get in on these guys before the fantasy playoffs, or so we say. So very excited about today's show. It is jam packed. We've got a great week planned for you. We have our waiver show tomorrow on Tuesday. On Wednesday we have the Megalodon episode, an extra long super jam packed matchup episode covering everything from week 12 before the holiday.

I mean, yeah, you blend in with.

So later on, well, I've had that. Jacob says, hi, I'm riding high. I told the wife about it. I'm really obnoxious. I'm like, hey, someone, someone listens to the show and she's like, oh, geez. So later on, like, it's. It's getting colder. I have my actual fantasy footballers jacket on and I'm. I'm still. We're standing around waiting and a guy says, hey. It's like, can I ask you a weird question? I'm like, oh yeah, here we go. Like, he's gonna ask, hey, you. You're a. You do that podcast in front of my whole family's like, can I borrow your phone? I need to call my wife. My phone just died.

I was like, oh, a big letdown.

Let's jump into the quick question and then I'll share one of those reviews. All right, quick question of the day. We know what happened. AJ Green went down on the second play of the game. The rumors are torn. Hamstring Geo Bernard went down. Nobody knew about this. Maybe at the end of the game. Torn ACL Now, AJ Green, Gio Bernard are out. That's 45% of the Cincinnati Bengals passing targets. What do you do moving forward with the Bengals roster, the offense? Who are, you know, what are you doing here? What was your reaction to all of this, fantasy wise?

[Jason Moore]

Well, you've got ups and downs here because you, you know, a lot of people want to hop on the. Oh my goodness. Jeremy Hill now is the guy and he's going to be great. And honestly, part of that's going to be true. He should be getting 20 carries a game because there's not going to be another talented running back like Geo there.

[Mike Wright]

However, the goal, Rex Burkhead, come on now.

[Jason Moore]

The goal line opportunities and the chance to score touchdowns is going to go down because your offense is clearly Going to be worse. You, you do not improve your team and improve the fantasy outlooks of the players on a team when you lose two important offensive pieces. I think that I believe.

[Andy Holloway]

And this could be inaccurate now after a couple of weeks, but up until a couple weeks ago, AJ Green was like the number one wide receiver in terms of like third down targets and reception. So when they needed a big first down to add to your point to go down the field, AJ Picked those up, letting them get into the red zone where Jeremy Hill did his damage. So from a volume standpoint, you're not complaining about Jeremy Hill now.

[Jason Moore]

Someone will have to.

[Andy Holloway]

But you could overreact.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. Someone will have to necessarily step up into the. Just into the target volume. Oh, yeah, some of it. So whether that's Tyler Boyd, who would be, you know, the guy I like, I feel like I hope that this actually moves him to the outside.

[Mike Wright]

He had the most production yesterday.

[Jason Moore]

You know, if they move him to the outside, I think he is talented enough to be a fantasy factor. If they keep him where he's been and bring someone else in, then I guess Brandon LaFell.

[Andy Holloway]

Brandon Lefell and Tyler Ifert to me is the biggest beneficiary because he's a third down target as well. They're going to have to lean on him. We saw some, you know, inconsistent performances at tight end yesterday. So if you have Eifer, if you've, if you've held him, he benefits in my opinion. Mike, did you have any other thoughts on position players there in Cincinnati?

[Mike Wright]

The people will be asking who am I picking up? It's Boyd and lefell Are the pickups here. I think that Boyd is going to be the better PPR guy. I think they'll use Lafell to stretch the field.

Well, it's been in the garage for a while.

Oh, I love. No, the reality is Thomas Rawls here, first of all, while Pro Size was in the game and they were both going. Thomas Rawls looked great. He ran like an angry man.

Looked like a man who's gonna get himself really hurt again.

Yeah, he did. That's how he runs every time that he would smash someone with his run and then get up. And he looked like he wanted to fight every time he got up.

Well, he went 4.1 at carry in his first game back. Caught three passes. I think all of them came after Pro size went out. 14 attempts on the first in his first game back. He's the guy now. And so, you know, if you have him, because I've been saying he might win you your league for three weeks, you might have lucked into even more workload here with CJ Pro Size out. Because, you know, Kristen, Michael's gone. I mean, do they regret that?

Oh, they have to.

How do you not regret that?

[Mike Wright]

Well, and Pope, the other guy they brought up, he got hurt, too.

Yeah. With that being said, the way that he runs and the fact that he's been injured now, you know, twice in two years, who cares? I'm just saying Alex Collins is a name that you need to pay attention to because while I don't think he's super uber talented runner, he was very productive in college. And if he's the only guy there.

Well, he's the next man up if Rawls does injure himself again. But right now, Rawls looks great going forward. Should get 20 touches next week.

[Jason Moore]

Well, let's be honest, CJ Mike will be Christine Michael be cut soon.

Oh, come back. Zach Miller done for the season with a broken right foot. This is super unfortunate. He was having a great game.

Yeah. LaShawn McCoy to have surgery on the thumb. He missed half the game, but they say he's likely to play next week, but he needs surgery on the thumb.

So I did the Twitter doctors. His name is escaping me right now. But he was talking about how he was pulled from the game because they couldn't get the thumb back in. And he said this is actually a good sign for. You would think It'd be worse. But because it doesn't just pop right back in. That's actually. It heals faster because it's not just that thing where it's gonna keep popping out. And so with the surgery to release the thumb and get it back into place, even he agreed. He said he's. He's more than likely gonna play on Sunday. So we have. He is Dr. Approval.

He's the best at getting kind of hurt all the time.

Yeah.

That his touchdown run was. Oh, that was so funny.

Robert woods spotted on crutches after the Week 11 win. Yeah, I'd rather be spotted doing anything else than being on crutches. That's not a good sign for next week.

That was very unfortunate for Tyrod. I mean, woods went down very early in that game.

Percy Harvin, a relevant flyer? I have to ask, maybe. Cody Kessler once again forced to leave a game. I feel like this is three weeks in a row. Upper body injury.

Now they're calling it upper. They were saying concussion.

That's part of the upper body.

Yeah, but I mean, that would be two for Cody this year, which is. That's not good.

I was mesmerized that I was able to pick up the Pittsburgh defense for zero fab dollars this past weekend.

I mean, just. I mean, that was a monster performance from them in the 20s. Preston Brown, Bill's linebacker, says he believes Sammy Watkins could return in week 12. That's next week.

Yeah. You know, for the last. For the last. I don't know, four, five, six weeks. I feel like the waiver wire has been, you know, there's not really been that. That. That guy or those guys that you burn that first priority and dump your, you know, fab into this week. There seems to be four or five guys that. That could be out there due to possible injury and other reasons or coming back from an injury. Tomorrow's show is going to be quite excellent.

All right, let's start at the quarterback position. We've had. We had big games from Brady. Four touchdowns looked like a monster. I think some people probably tempered expectations with Brady this week with Gronkowski out, but you saw him just carve up the defense. Next week he has the jets, so no questions about Tom Brady. Aaron Rodgers had another good game. 351 and 3 has Philly next week.

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay packers have truly become fantasy gold, the same way that the New Orleans Saints or.

Last year's Jacksonville Jaguars were.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. What you have here is a defense that is so bad and an offense that is so good that almost every single game you're going to have a ton of fantasy production.

[Andy Holloway]

I love the Saints comparison.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, I mean, you have. When you've got a great quarterback and a bad defense, you just want everyone on both sides of that ball because Aaron Rodgers going to go down and score, the Green Bay packers are going to go down and put 30 out there, and they might lose that game every single game. Those are the type of fantasy games you want to be a part of. So I love Aaron Rodgers going forward because his team's going to be down. He's going to have to do it, and he can do it.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, I agree. Kirk Cousins, if you streamed him yesterday, you sang songs all night long. 375 and 3. Great game for Cousins. You know, the east is tough this year. I mean, you've got The Giants at 7 and 3, I believe Washington's what, 6 and 3?

And with Washington next week, I'm curious.

What the over under will be on that game because I actually think it'll be a high scoring game.

Yeah, I want to see what Vegas, what Vegas thinks because those, whenever there are those in division games, that's where I really like to look to Vegas and say, are they expecting this to be one of those they know each other well and the defense is going to win or is this a, you know, all out shootout?

All right, two more names for the stud muffins at the quarterback position. I'm going to throw a third in there. But Russell Wilson, Russell Wilson next week has Tampa this week went 18 for 30, 18 for 31 on the. Wait, what is that? Oh, completions. 18 for 31 for 272, one touchdown through the air. Caught a pass from Doug Baldwin, got a touchdown. Yeah, caught a touchdown. Third week that he's been very productive at the quarterback position. Marcus Mariota had a good game, put it back together after a tough start.

I was going to say if you had him, you were like, oh no. What's going on in the beginning of that game? Not looking good. But he, he's just been doing it every single week.

And 49ers, you know, Colin Kaepernick had two touchdowns again, did enough to get you through the week. You know, five weeks in a row he's been start worthy. So pay attention to him with these juicy end of season matchups. Let's go ahead. We're going to move on to running backs.

You know? I know. Andy, you weren't super high on him this last week because of the matchup.

But at the same time, we had, you know, I've been saying he's passed my eyeball test this year, the last two weeks prior to this week and now last game, I really believe so we'll actually talk about him a little bit. Rashad Jennings, I think, is a bigger story here in the sense that, you know, there's all very involved, all the Paul Perkins conversation. And what Paul Perkins meant to Rashad Jennings was a loss of opportunity. Except there was no loss of opportunity. In fact, this was the best opportunity we've seen. He was super involved in the passing game, very involved, obviously in the running game. He was the fourth best fantasy running back this week. And I think going forward now, what you'd have to say, they. Look, you saw this at the end of last year. At the end of last year, they started to find something really special with Rashad Jennings and that led to victories and they started running and using him.

[Mike Wright]

I was going to say this is deja vu.

[Andy Holloway]

Well, last three weeks for Paul Perkins attempts. Week nine, he had 11 attempts. Week 10, he had nine attempts. And week 11, he had four attempts. So it's been down three straight weeks with the ascension of Rashad Jennings, he has to protect the ball, but he's on an upward trend. You have to ride him right now.

[Mike Wright]

And next week, Cleveland. Hello.

[Andy Holloway]

And Pittsburgh the week after. So a couple of nice weeks. Rashad Jennings looking really good. And like Jason said, we'll talk more about Robert Kelly, no doubt. Probably. You know, I kind of want to touch really Quickly on James White and Deion Lewis. So, I mean, you could kind of throw James White in there as a honorable mention in the fact that he had 6 for 63 and a touchdown. He didn't get a carry. You saw Deon Lewis get some carries. But what. What's your impression of that situation right now?

[Mike Wright]

It's. It's still very murky. I will say it was Lewis right away.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah.

[Mike Wright]

Right at the very beginning of the game. He got two targets, I think, on their first three plays. And he had this one shaken bake where he looks good, like, hey, Louis, he's back.

[Jason Moore]

I was watching that, and I was paying very close attention because I am an owner of both of these guys. Right. I need one to win out. I need Deion Lewis to not be involved, or I need Dion Lewis to just be who he was. The game opens up. First play, he's the starter. He's on the field. He looks great. And then there were sets even on that first drive where both James White and Dion Lewis were in the game together on the same play. Unfortunately, James White had that great touchdown run, and I think they're going to both be used. That being said, when I watched, I mean, it was just what we saw last year. They look different. One of those guys is able to give a little bit more juke and get free, and that's Deon Lewis. I believe Deion Lewis is the better player, but they are not going to go away from James White, which means Dion Lewis is not going to have that role that he had last year. And I think you're going to.

[Andy Holloway]

That's a very poor outlook. Yeah, and I was going to say, I mean, you're stating that as fact now, which means. Have you conceded to that right now?

[Jason Moore]

I mean, it's too early because this is the first week of Dion Lewis really being back. That's the way that I see it going. I don't see a chance for James White to continue being what he was when he had all of it. There is still the chance that Lewis takes over, that Lewis takes over. But I guess my point is, you know, it's not going to be James White, despite the fact that he had the better fantasy game this week.

[Andy Holloway]

All right, Wide receiver, stud muffins this week. The big guys, Dez Bryant, eight for six or six for 80 and two touchdowns. Great performance from Dez Bezos. Got in the end zone, too, by the way. Of course. Of course.

[Mike Wright]

I heard you.

[Jason Moore]

But who was the number one on that team this week?

[Mike Wright]

It was Dez Bryant.

[Andy Holloway]

However, I didn't stop from all of Twitter. That didn't stop all of Twitter going, beezel's crazy.

[Jason Moore]

All right, so you know, you're starting Des Bryant at this point. I don't think you have any debate there, but there are a lot of wide receiver studs this week that have question marks for next week and whether or not you feel confident putting them in the lineup. Everybody's got these tough decisions. I had to face it this week. I had to decide basically, you know, Devonte Adams, Steve Smith or Terrell Pryor. Every week, these kind of wide receiver, two range guys, you're like, which one do I roll into your lineup? It's going to be weather, it's going to be matchup. It's going to be a bunch of different factors. So let's talk about some of them. Look, Pierre Garcon, a lot of talk about him being really involved this week. It came to fruition. Six for one, 16 and a touchdown. Steve Smith, eight for 99 and a touchdown. Again, having a very productive day. Clearly the guy there in Baltimore.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, the eight receptions is what you love to see because that's what Steve Smith has done his whole career and he's healthy enough to do it again. And if he's getting that kind of target volume, that kind of reception totals, then he's going to be fantasy relevant and a weekly must play.

[Mike Wright]

I think I will. Yeah, I agree he's a weekly must player, but I will throw it. The Ravens completely abandoned the run in the second half. I mean, I'm talking. They just, they did not run at all. So that, that also helped with Steve Smith. But I agree he's still, he's a weekly guy going forward.

[Jason Moore]

So, Mike, let me ask you about Julian Edelman because you, you know, you watch this game very, very closely as a Julian Edelman owner.

[Mike Wright]

Yes.

[Jason Moore]

Was he the benefactor of Gronk not being there and playing against a Poor San Francisco 49ers because he had a great game, 8 for 77 and a touchdown. Also had two carries for 12 yards. Can fantasy owners expect that going forward against the New York jets next week?

[Mike Wright]

I don't think you can expect 17 targets. These guys were giving me a hard time here because I'm appropriately. Well, yeah.

[Andy Holloway]

Both of our fantasy teams are struggling and you're sitting there going, another stupid target for Edelman that he doesn't catch. Yeah, I've only got 15 points.

[Mike Wright]

If you had Edelman, I mean, the monster game, great game. But it was frustrating seeing how many yards were left on the field here where Tom was just missing him. Moving forward though, Edelman. I think Edelman's back in that wide receiver two position where it's been the last couple weeks now that Tom Brady has been like, you know what, maybe my, my BFF Jules needs to get some targets here.

[Andy Holloway]

Let me ask you this question, guys. If you had to decide rest of season between Smith senior Julian Edelman, as we just talked about, or another stud muffin this week, Doug Baldwin, who threw a touchdown pass and was 4 for 1 on 4 through the air, he's been very good lately. If you had to choose the rest of season, are you deciding based on next week's matchup or some other factor and who would you pick?

[Jason Moore]

It's close to me between, I think when you're talking to all three of those guys and I like all three, I prefer Doug Baldwin and Julian Edelman. And so when I look at those two guys, the reason I prefer them is just offense. I think that those two offenses are going to score a lot more points than the Ravens will. And you've seen them be very involved. I go kind of back and forth, right. I like the offense better for New England. I like the playoff schedule a little bit better for Seattle. I think it's a matter of they're both the same type of guy too, where you're going to get a lot of that slot sometimes moving out, slide, roll, roll. I think I would take Julian Edelman. Just because you have Tom Brady, who has looked much more hot than Russell Wilson this year.

[Mike Wright]

It's a scoring format to me. Ppr. I'll take Jules standard. I would take Baldwin.

[Andy Holloway]

So Smith's not in the consideration.

[Mike Wright]

Not over the look, I love Steve Smith, but not over those two guys. We. It's talking about deja vu from Rashad Jennings. That's what the Seahawks are doing where Russell Wilson was almost a non factor for half the season. They finally get it going and you can see that with the ascension of Doug Baldwin and that team is they're putting up points and I think that's going to continue.

[Andy Holloway]

All right. Devonte Parker, Malcolm Mitchell, Jameson Crowder and Rashad Matthews all had big weeks. I think the headliner for me is Matthews put together a fantasy relevant day without a touchdown. Thirteen targets, nine for 122. They almost came back and won that game.

[Jason Moore]

He's become the one. I think that's official, right? I mean he seems to be the dominant target at least this game clearly. And For a passing game that has not slowed down in the slightest, I think you have to just stay in those flames and start him right now. Until proven otherwise, yeah.

[Mike Wright]

Rashard Matthews, maybe it's a little over the line here, but Rashard Matthews reminds me a lot of Robinson from last year that the team has this stink of reputation surrounding them of the offense is bad. That was what Alan Robinson was last year. Can I really keep trusting this guy with Blake Bortles throwing the ball? It's the Jaguars. They're historically bad. Their offense is always terrible, but Robinson kept getting it done. Rashard Matthews, same thing, the Titans. And you have Mariota on this unbelievable nuclear hot streak going. And like Jason said, Rashard Matthews is turning into the number one target for him. He was their big offseason free agent acquisition. He's. I think he's a good wide receiver. Every time I watch him, he passes the eyeball test and now he's really getting involved. So it's that it just feels gross. But once when you get to the off season and you everything is done, everything's completed, all his numbers are there, you're going to look back and go, wow, Richard Matthews was really good.

[Andy Holloway]

Is Jameson Crowder the one?

[Jason Moore]

I would say yes. Unless it's Jordan Reed. As far as wide receivers, as far as the number one wide receiver on that team, I think it's Jameson Crowder. We said. I realized, you know, he, he got fewer receptions than Garcon this last week. But he is just like Rashad Matthews. He's been so good for so long this whole season. I mean, you've had one kind of meh game, one dud out of Crowder and the rest have all been good fantasy productive games where you are not unhappy if you start Jameson Crowder. He is a crowd. It's crowd.

[Andy Holloway]

The two players that were stud muffins at the wide receiver position this week that I think are most likely to disappoint you next week are Devonte Parker and Malcolm Mitchell.

[Mike Wright]

Agreed.

[Andy Holloway]

It was a unique situation for Mitchell. Obviously the majority of his production came on the 55 yard bomb, whatever that was. 56 yard. Devonte Parker put together a heck of a last series. I do think he's worth a flyer, right? This is production from Devonte Parker in consecutive weeks. He's had a few flashes. I was impressed nes San Francisco next week. So I want to keep the door, I want to keep your door open for Parker as a streamer. Let's get through these tight ends really quickly before we get into our Rising stars, the tight end that everyone's going to be talking about. And there was a tweet from Jamie Eisenberg about this. It's Jared Cook.

[Mike Wright]

Okay?

[Andy Holloway]

Jared Cook had 6 for 105 and a touchdown last night just came out of nowhere. He said, Eisenberg said everyone will add Jared Cook this week. Everyone will be disappointed by Jared Cook. Jared Cook next week. I agree 100%.

[Jason Moore]

It's what Cook does.

[Andy Holloway]

There's too many targets in. In Green Bay. Obviously, he benefited from Devonte Adams having a lower target game.

[Jason Moore]

And he also did what, you know, with this joke of, well, he's going to make you happy this week and then he'll disappoint you next week. Was exactly. That was. That was meta in that game. I mean, he was. He was so important to Green Bay and then he was the one that ruined the game at the end when he fumbled away the opportunity to come and be relevant and win the game.

[Andy Holloway]

Just par for the course.

[Mike Wright]

It's just a quick aside. Was that Jordy Nelson catch? The touchdown? Was that a catch?

[Andy Holloway]

What do you think, Jay?

[Jason Moore]

I went back and forth, but I believe it was a catch because the end zone rules are slightly different in the sense that as soon as you have possession, like the second you've got it, you. You're good up, unless you're going to the ground and then in which case rules change. But the point is, you know, the. He had it. The ball was across the, you know, the plane. So it's a touchdown and then it got knocked out. It's irrelevant.

[Mike Wright]

I thought it was a drop.

[Andy Holloway]

Eric Ebron and Travis Kelsey had big weeks at the tight end position to stud Muffins for you, Kelsey. Seven for 108 looked good. Eric Ebron, we're going to talk about him in a minute.

Yeah, yeah.

Kelsey's got Denver next week and sometimes you kind of need that tight end role because their corners are so good at locking down your wide receivers. So Kelsey could be a very good start next week as well. Raising Canes Rising stars of the week.

So you just, while you're imprinting, what's going on with the season, Eric Ebron was kind of. Well, we're just going to lump him back in with the bar fee tight ends.

[Jason Moore]

He is.

[Mike Wright]

He is not. Look, three, like I said, three straight weeks, 70 plus yards. Now, he's probably not on your waiver wires, 70% owned, but there is a possibility that, that he is. Zach Miller went down, Vernon Davis had an unfortunate game. Jack Doyle, I mean, like there's barfy tight ends and Eric, Then there's Eric Ebron. I think that he is not in a Jordan Reed class, but he is. He's managed to put on some sewer boots and stand above.

[Andy Holloway]

Is he in the Travis Kelsey class?

[Mike Wright]

Yes. Yeah, that's a perfect comparison where he's just Delaney Walker. He's a weekly start. He ran into tight end or he ran a touchdown in. So there's. Look, the guy's athletically gifted. First round pick Matthew Stafford is looking to him and even, even with the Lions having a really bad offensive game and look, the Lions, I think that the, the, the way to approach the Lions moving forward, you look at their opponents and that's how they're going to play. That's what the Lions do. But even with a bad offensive performance, Eric Ebron was still great.

[Andy Holloway]

So Minnesota next week.

[Mike Wright]

Eric Ebron's fine.

[Andy Holloway]

To me, I think Eric Ebron is still, he's a weak.

He's got New Orleans and then he heads into the playoffs with Chicago, the Giants and Dallas. I think he's fine. I think you're right. I'm going to go with Thomas Rawls. He's my raising cane.

I was going to say, if he's not on your roster and he, if he is on waivers, fight hard.

Because, I mean, Mike just brought this up that we're seeing kind of a repit that deja vu with the Seattle offense last year.

Yeah. And look, they call me double stuff, mostly because I'm fat. I love to eat.

I did wear my double stuffed shirt at a Thanksgiving meal this past week.

[Jason Moore]

Is incentive, as you should. And so I'm going to go with Fat Rob, who's endearing himself to all of us. Robert Kelly. I feel it's my duty to say that Robert Kelly is a rising star because he now has a firm hold on that starting job. I'm not worried about Matt Jones. Robert Kelly, in his three games as the starter, has not fumbled the ball, which is the entire, you know, the main reason why Matt Jones got the back seat in those three games as a starter. And keep in mind, you know, Cincinnati, that first game is okay. They used to be a good defense. They're not really good anymore. Minnesota, well, they're. They're pretty good defense. I know they've given up some on the run, on the ground lately. Green Bay's got a great running defense and so you, you kind of say, well, is. Is he somewhat matchup proof? In the last three games, you have Rob Kelly averaging 107 yards and 1.3 touchdowns per game. But more importantly than the yards and the touchdowns, which you just can't always Predict, he's averaging 22.33 carries per game. That is, that is awesome. If you are averaging over 20 carries a game for a team that has Kirk Cousins and Crowdad and Reed and Garcon and D Jacks and even Vernon Davis. You just have too many weapons. You're not stacking the box right. You're not, you're not coming up with the Todd Gurley game plan where you're going. Okay, we're just going to put every stop 30. Yeah, I mean you cannot focus on the run. If you focus against the run on Washington, they're just going to throw all over you. So I believe that Rob Kelly, look, he's got a very poor schedule coming up rest of the way. Every game is difficult, every game is tough and I think he's going to be okay.

[Andy Holloway]

It reminds me of Jonathan Stewart on his eight game 20 carry streak last year where it was just every game. As long as this team is not way behind. That's the problem. If this team does get way behind in any of these next matchups, Dallas, Arizona, Philly, Carolina, Chicago. Sure, if they get way behind, it's going to be the Chris Thompson show, isn't it?

[Mike Wright]

Well, yeah, it could be. I think that Kelly will still be involved. But the great news, I mean Dallas is there, they're a solid offense. Arizona's offense stinks. Philadelphia's offense stings. Carolina, they stink. Chicago's offense, they stink. I mean bad defensive matchups but you don't have to worry about the bow.

[Jason Moore]

Usually those, usually those are okay for running backs like Rob Kelly and also I will just throw this out because if you're looking at the box score, you don't see it. He was involved in the passing game this week and you go wait, he had zero receptions. How was he involved in the passing game? There were a couple of targets to him that looked like good plays but they were just a little off the mark and he is not a great enough pass catcher to grab those. Really difficult, you know, they were behind him, they were low.

[Andy Holloway]

McCoy went down extremely early. He went. He missed the entire second half. I mean that. The team changes when your weapons are gone. They had to lean on Mike Gillislee who looked fantastic in replacement, but you had to lean on that running game so that it took the wind out of Tyrod's sails.

[Andy Holloway]

Does he. Do you have enough confidence with the injuries to start him next week against Jacksonville? I think he is scary.

[Jason Moore]

You're absolutely right. It is scary. He is a high upside streamer which you know, if your waiver wire is low and you don't have a lot of good options, I would be okay to stream him against Jacksonville. My expectations are not very high for him. So he always has been to me and will continue to be a weekly matchup streaming option.

[Andy Holloway]

I'm not going to overreact to this one. This was in Cincinnati with the Weapons going down. Previous six weeks, 20 or more fantasy points, including multiple 30 point games. Jacksonville's at home. Then you go on the road against Oakland. Very beatable defense. Pittsburgh, Cleveland at home in the playoffs. All three of Tyrod Taylor's playoff matchups are at home. Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Miami. I think he's worth overlooking this circumstance because of how consistent he had been on the year. That's. That's my take.

[Mike Wright]

That's fair.

[Andy Holloway]

But look. And then the potential of Sammy Watkins coming back into the fold, that would be humongous. McCoy is supposed to be back next week.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah.

[Andy Holloway]

So I mean those are big. I think those are reasons to give him the benefit of the doubt after one down week. That would be my take. Sure.

[Jason Moore]

You know another one we'll give the benefit of the doubt on after one terrible week is big Ben Roethlisberger road.

[Andy Holloway]

Will we.

[Jason Moore]

We have. Well, yeah, because we know why he did it. It was on the road. And granted, very, very windy.

[Andy Holloway]

But isn't he going on the road again next week?

[Jason Moore]

He is. He's going on the road to Indianapolis.

Well, that'll be easier.

That. That will be a little bit better.

In a dome. In a dome will help him. But it was just funny that you had this. Okay, we've got Big Ben on the road. We know this. The historic splits are bad, but it's the Cleveland Browns. Well, even bro, Big Ben was not impervious to that.

[Jason Moore]

I said this. This last week. And granted, we took a look and said, you know, look, the Cleveland matchup, he should still be okay. But we brought up the fact that there's probably some better options because he was one, on the road. Two, bad windy conditions, three, he lost half of his wide receiving options. Sammy Coates was gone. Marcus Wheaton was gone. Darius Hayward Bay was injured. Everybody.

[Andy Holloway]

I don't want to play him anymore on the road. Okay, but he's got. His only home game in the next four weeks is New York, the Giants. I don't. And sure, you can play him, but he's played. He started eight games this year. Four of those eight games, zero or one touchdown.

[Mike Wright]

So to me, that sounds like Big Ben.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, I know. I'm just saying it's like. And. And Big Ben is somebody. I don't want to start.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, you guys, he's got more than three touchdowns. I know there is on fire or he's off, and that's.

[Andy Holloway]

But I don't want the coin flip in the playoffs.

[Jason Moore]

I'm fine. I agree with that. In the playoffs, I'm certainly going to play him Week 13 at home against the Giants.

[Andy Holloway]

I will find a better option in my first playoff week than Big Ben at home against the Giants.

[Jason Moore]

You won't find a better option than Big Ben at home against the Giants.

Look, he either is a top three quarterback or he's a bottom 10 quarterback every single week.

So that's why you went safe, because he's either going to be. If you hit, you hit. All right, we got to fly through some of these other ones here. Matthew Stafford let a lot of people down.

[Jason Moore]

All the. Other than Ebron, all of the passing, the weapons there. Golden Tate stunk. Marvin Jones stunk.

[Andy Holloway]

Can you cut Marvin Jones?

[Mike Wright]

Yeah.

I mean, if you need to. If there's a better option out on waivers, you don't overreact and just flat cut him because you're pissed at him. But he is an option where it's like, oh, there's a guy I really need. Marvin Jones is expendable.

Marvin Jones has one reception the past two weeks. He hasn't had more than four since week four.

What's the Lions upcoming schedule?

It's. It's not a good situation. And you know what? Marvin Jones is the worst. You want to know why? Because Marvin Jones flashed insane numbers to start the year and made everybody feel like they can't trade him or do anything. I saw so many people start DeAndre Hopkins this week, which. Okay, you can start DeAndre Hopkins, but over lots of options like Jameson Crowder, like a bunch of different players, that the numbers would tell you if you didn't have Hopkins name in it, the numbers would tell you, I'm just going to start this guy. I'm going to start Steve Smith. I'm going to start Jameson Crowder.

[Mike Wright]

Like I said, the imprint of the beginning of the year, it makes such a difference.

[Andy Holloway]

And for Hopkins, it was just having an elite year. Last year, running backs that laid an egg. This week, we're going to go with Isaiah Crowell.

[Mike Wright]

Oh, man.

[Andy Holloway]

That, you know, rough. Yeah, he's had some of These lately. Hopefully you don't have to lean on Crowell right now because it's Cleveland. I mean, they can't figure anything out. There's no consistency to their offense.

[Jason Moore]

Well, and the reality to me with Crowell is you have three weeks in a row now where he does not have 10 carries. He does. He has nine or less carries in three games in a row. If you are playing a matchup where you're going to get down and you're the Cleveland Browns, you very well might be. I am not starting Crowell in those matchups.

[Andy Holloway]

Pretty disappointing performance from Spencer Ware. Hugely disappointing because just Tampa had given up 113, 114 and 115 on the ground the last three weeks against Oakland, Atlanta, Chicago. Now they're in Kansas City. And Rawls does nothing to help you win your team or when your matchup. Where. What did I say?

[Mike Wright]

[Andy Holloway]

Oh, I'm sorry.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, where in Kansas City. And it's. Oh, that was very confusing.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, so.

Similar, I would say this week to Jay Ajayi. Right. He still had 77 yards on the ground. You know, caught three catches for seven yards. So it was like. But. But he was very disappointing for what you hope. That being said, we saw what we talked about last week where when the Dolphins offensive line is missing important weapons and they. Even in that game, despite already being down two starting options, they. They lost Laramie Tunsil that game. That. I mean, we have to watch the, you know, the practice reports for their supposed to be back next week. Right. Because. And Albert might be as well. If those two are back, then you go, okay, this is. This is good. I mean, they've got a great matchup. Right. They play San Francisco next week.

[Andy Holloway]

What are the odds that Ajayi catches more catches next week?

[Jason Moore]

I think he's going to catch every reception he has.

[Andy Holloway]

He's going to catch all the receptions.

All of the receptions he will have caught.

I think it was a product of Big Ben stinking.

And also it was a product of Levy on Bell, who was. Was he over 200 total yards? I think he was.

He was over 100 in the first quarter.

[Jason Moore]

I mean, it was outrageous. He just took over. They didn't need Big Ben. The wind was terrible. So, yeah, you have eli Rogers with 4 for 20. Definitely let you down. I mean, we were. We were hot on him early, but we kind of pulled back as the week went on with all the weather reports there. Going forward. Indiana, Indianapolis and a dome. I still think he would be a sneaky snark.

[Andy Holloway]

Devonte Adams, 3 for 42. Another disappointing game. He had a bad drop on a play and did not perform for you. Devonte Adams did just say he was. This is tough. Yeah, it's tough because these guys, they get you to the point where you're like, must start. Which is what Adams had been. I mean, Adams had been a top 10 wide receiver for weeks and just had a down game, has Philly next week. So I think Adams. You just have to play those matchups with the guys that are on your roster, tight end wise, that a number of players, everybody, Everybody laid. Laid an egg. Look, look at these bad performances here. Greg Olson stunk. Delaney Walker stunk. Ifrt stunk. Brait stunk. Rudolph Thomas, Vernon. Vernon Davis. Vernon Davis didn't even seem to play.

[Jason Moore]

Between you and I, you know, our Jack Doyle and Vernon Davis, they were bad.

[Andy Holloway]

Thank goodness. Everybody was bad because you probably played somebody and if they didn't have Eric Ebron. You both stunk at tight end and it probably didn't kill you.

[Jason Moore]

Right.

[Andy Holloway]

Martell's been at stunk, too, by the way, and he had the biggest opportunity.

[Mike Wright]

Yes.

[Andy Holloway]

And of course, you know, he blocked the whole game because Bill Belichick is Bill Belichick. So what you, you know, he thinks something's coming.

[Jason Moore]

There were really no tight ends that. I mean, you had Zach Miller, who was probably the best.

[Andy Holloway]

He was.

[Jason Moore]

And he got injured. Zach Ertz. Did you guys see that? That. I don't know how long it was. It was very long. Like, oh, he got back the touchdown.

[Mike Wright]

Because of Aguilar because of a yard.

[Jason Moore]

That was just so dumb to me. It was like. That did not affect the play at all. I know it's within the rule book. Guy was like 6 inches away from where he should be. It was just so dumb.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. Looking at the top tight ends, it's just funny the names that are in there, because these are guys that most people didn't like. Jermaine Gresham. Jermaine Gresham was the number eight tight end on the week.

[Andy Holloway]

All right, let's talk about kickers. We already said kickers were bad this year. Now you had 12 extra points were missed this week, including.

[Mike Wright]

Was this a strike by the kickers? Was this a movement where they're like, we want them, we want the extra point. Move it forward. Everyone miss one, oh, my God. Take it for the team.

[Jason Moore]
