Hey, this is Al Robinson from the Jacksonville Jaguars, and you're listening to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast.
Andy Holloway
Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast coming to you from the fantasyjocks.com studios with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright.
Jason Moore
Ah, welcome to the show. We're back again. That was very high energy donuts flowing through the bloodstream.
Andy Holloway
2017 year health.
Al Robinson
Yeah, way to rat us out, dude.
Jason Moore
And, well, it was just one of those mornings where a donut was the most convenient option.
Andy Holloway
One.
Jason Moore
One.
Al Robinson
Oh, yeah.
Jason Moore
Actually, hold on, I'm going to take that back. It was for your birthday, Mike.
Al Robinson
Oh, thank you.
Jason Moore
It was a birthday celebration tomorrow, right?
Al Robinson
Yes.
Jason Moore
The big four. Oh, it is not quite.
Al Robinson
There's a. There's a four in the number. But yeah, and if you've not followed me on the Twitter thread, I got an early birthday surprise.
Andy Holloway
Oh, congratulations.
Al Robinson
Unverified forever.
Jason Moore
Now, see, there are, at this point, there are just theories circulating as to why the verification will not happen. The one I'm buying into the most is the fact your Twitter handle is FF Hitman, as in they don't want to exalt murderers and you're a hitman. And so now they're, for some reason. Is that. It's the. Maybe it's the man bun.
Andy Holloway
Certainly that's part of it.
Jason Moore
I don't know what it is a.
Al Robinson
Combination of factors that. And frankly, it's not fair. It's embarrassing. And Twitter, you can eat my butt.
Jason Moore
You're like the Oscars guy. Do you see the guy that finally won his first Oscar after 21 nominations? 21 nominations, yeah. So you got a ways to go there. This is only your seventh or eighth denial for being a hitman. So, hey, we got a great show today.
Andy Holloway
Super good. I am really excited for this show today. And this will also be our last show ever because.
Jason Moore
What.
Andy Holloway
Following the show, we are all going to be eating beets on the show after the show, and that will be the end of us.
Jason Moore
Yeah, we're doing that because we disparaged beads pretty heavily on the show. Well, you guys did because I fed them to you as a punishment.
Al Robinson
I believe that you. You were involved in the disparaging because you chose them because you know that they're disgusting.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I did. And so we had a. We had a company reach out completely. You know, this is not sponsored or anything.
Al Robinson
There's a listener.
Jason Moore
They just reached out and said, hey, you've disparaged beats. I'm gonna send you some beats that taste good. And we said, that's not Possible.
Andy Holloway
We're going to give it a shot. I will give it a fair shake. I really will. And if I like them, I will. I will apologize on the show, after the show.
Jason Moore
There you go.
Andy Holloway
But you'll probably just see me throwing up.
Jason Moore
All right, quick question of the day. Oh, by the way, today's show, beyond the news, we are going to give you our official free agency predictions. So we're going through the big free agent names. You have teams beginning to negotiate with free agents on Tuesday of next week, March 7th, and then on the 9th, they can begin to sign. So next week is exciting. Next week is going to be fun.
Al Robinson
Yes.
Jason Moore
And today we're going to predict the destinations for some of the big names. Alshon, Jeffrey and many others. So very excited for that. And we'll see. We'll see who's the most, you know, who can see the future.
Al Robinson
Yeah. Gaze into the crystal ball, the NFL crystal football.
Jason Moore
Yes. Quick question of the day. Josh Gordon is applying for reinstatement.
Al Robinson
I know what it's like to apply for things a lot and get rejected.
Jason Moore
If he is back, where does he go? And is he worth the risk in fantasy? Here's the reminder, right, the token reminder. 87 for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns back in 2013.
Andy Holloway
That reminder. I was going to say that reminder keeps getting a little less important every year that goes on. That was now four years ago. And also he's not going to get reinstated.
Jason Moore
You don't think so?
Andy Holloway
I don't think so. I think the. The last time, which was already time after time, you know, time after time. That's.
Jason Moore
That's David Bowie again.
Andy Holloway
Then he had another. Then he had another problem. I don't see him being reinstated. If he is reinstated, though. Let's just go with. With that theory. The Browns have kind of said they're done with them. I don't think he goes back to the ground.
Jason Moore
Oh, no, no, no, no.
Andy Holloway
And so you've got to go to a team willing to give you a chance. I would say. The Oakland Raiders have never shied away from problem child. You know, people with baggage. They have the money, the cap space. They have a quarterback that might be an interesting piece to add to their two already good wide receivers.
Jason Moore
New England.
Al Robinson
I was waiting for it.
Jason Moore
You were waiting for it.
Al Robinson
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Mike, you have any thoughts on Gordon? I think he will be reinstated. That's because I ceaselessly believe that Josh Gordon is somehow not as much of a knucklehead as he seems to be.
Al Robinson
Yeah, I would. I mean I lean that he would be reinstated but I don't know if the Raiders, that's tough. I mean he's going to play like the slot or something. I mean you have Crabtree and Cooper there.
Jason Moore
Well, wherever he signs he's not going to get paid a ton. So I think.
Al Robinson
No he won't think you're looking into it. This will be a one year prove.
Jason Moore
It deals for sure. For sure. So we'll see what happens with Josh Gordon. We're going to get into the news in just a minute here. If you want to follow us, do so on twitter @the ffballers. You can follow the unverified mike @ff hitman. Follow the very verified jason ffl.

Al Robinson
Oh, that Joe.
Jason Moore
Joe is the worst.
Al Robinson
He's a rapscallion.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he's the worst. He's been there so long too. It's, it's tough. All right, let's go ahead and get into the news.
Andy Holloway
News and notes from around the league.
Jason Moore
Is there exposure, explosions happening outside?
Al Robinson
Hopefully.
Jason Moore
All right, let's start with some news that broke this morning. ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting. These Saints are discussing a trade involving Brandon Cooks with both the Titans and the Eagles, two teams that are looking for a wide receiver.
Al Robinson
There was a lot or there has been a lot of smoke on the Brandon Cook side of things and just I believe even started last offseason of just. Well, should they trade him? What are you talking about? You have your first round pick. You traded up to get him. He's produced, he's been a good part of your team. But just way too many reports of will the Saints be trading Brandon Cooks? They're looking to move and you know they're fired.
Andy Holloway
You know they're fire. This is the type of team that is absolutely. They shipped out Jimmy Graham when he.
Jason Moore
Was peak Kenny Stills.
Andy Holloway
Kenny Stills was a guy that Mike and I really believed in. We'll talk about him later. But he was what, 23, 22 when they shipped him out after having thousand yard season with the Saints, Darren Sprols.
Jason Moore
Reggie Bush, both showing the door. Yeah, it's, you know, they drafted Michael Thomas. Michael Thomas. So very interesting. Let me put you to the test, Mike.
Al Robinson
Okay.
Jason Moore
Because you said on our Overreactions episode that the Titans would land some receiver and that people would discount Rashard Matthews. So Brandon Cooks lands in Tennessee.
Al Robinson
I would love it. Because the overreaction will come in hard and heavy for Brandon Cooks.
Jason Moore
So you'd be still on the Ryan Matthews train.
Al Robinson
Rashard Matthews, I'm forever on the Ryan Matthews train.
Jason Moore
But talk about him in a little bit.
Al Robinson
But Rashard Matthews, man, I would love it. Because he will just get buried.
Andy Holloway
He'll be. If Brandon Cooks goes there, Rashad Matthews will be virtually undrafted or he'll be like 11, 12th round.
Al Robinson
Yeah, he'll go.
Andy Holloway
He's worth that value.
Jason Moore
The Redskins have assigned the exclusive rights franchise tag to quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Al Robinson
They get him one more year, they.
Jason Moore
Can negotiate a long term deal.
Al Robinson
Still, they can go long term. They can trade him. I mean, you heard it here to do this.
Andy Holloway
What? I'm just saying he's playing for Washington for one more year and then he's going to go sign with the 49ers.
Jason Moore
That's. That's one take.
Andy Holloway
This is the free agent. This is where we're making our predictions of free agents. I'm just already on that 20.
Al Robinson
You're doing next year's show.
Jason Moore
All right. The Bucks have tindered exclusive rights. Free agent tight end Cameron Brait.
Al Robinson
Yep.
Jason Moore
All right. Well, Cameron Braid is a tight end.
Al Robinson
Tight end one. If they, if they don't make a move, which there's a little bit of rumors in the bushes that they might try and add someone to the tight end position. But Cameron Brait was, Was fantastic. I mean, he was a red zone monster.
Andy Holloway
I agree. Although later in the show.
Al Robinson
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
I might be putting someone over on the Bucs roster.
Jason Moore
John Harbaugh anticipates Mike Wallace to be back with The Ravens in 2017. There was also a report this morning about Bershad Perryman and the ability for him to be a top flight wide receiver. You have Steve Smith leaving the. Obviously retiring this past year. You know. Do you buy into Mike Wallace over Perryman?
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Jason Moore
Just based on the rapport he seemed to have with Flacco so far.
Al Robinson
Yeah, well, he just. He's a veteran.
Jason Moore
He's.
Al Robinson
He. Their connection is there. And in that, I believe it was in the same news conference, Harbaugh actually said something positive about Kenny Dixon.
Jason Moore
Nice.
Al Robinson
So I was. Whoa, whoa, what are we doing over here? Harbaugh, I. Contain yourself.
Andy Holloway
That would be great. But it also sounds like he's trying to say we're not drafting a running back.
Al Robinson
Wink, he's playing the draft game already.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, well, already it's the combine. This is the time for the draft game.
Jason Moore
All right. A couple of pieces of news that we will further discuss in our free agent predictions. Adrian Peterson. The Vikings have not picked up the option. Apparently they didn't want to pay him $18 million.
Al Robinson
That's so weird, man.
Jason Moore
Bizarre.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, he's still 32. That's younger than me.
Jason Moore
So. So Lev Bell is clearly. Lev Bell is cheaper now.
Al Robinson
I don't know. I don't know how it all works.
Andy Holloway
Lev Bell is cheaper now because the.
Jason Moore
Franchise tag is reduced.
Al Robinson
Well, I had seen news that the franchise, it was locked in and was going to get 12.
Andy Holloway
Oh, is that locked in when he signs the franchise?
Al Robinson
Possible.
Jason Moore
That makes sense if he has to sign the tender. So we'll talk about Adrian Peterson, possible destinations for him very shortly. Jamal Charles, released by the Chiefs. Hard to picture him in another jersey, but it looks like it's heading that way. Although he could still return to Kansas City.
Andy Holloway
I love your pick, by the way. I almost went that way.
Jason Moore
Oh, my selection for where I surprised you.
Andy Holloway
It was very surprising to me. I saw that and I went, what? No way. And then as I kept researching, I was like, that's not a bad spot for him.
Jason Moore
Yeah, we'll tease that here. We'll talk about Jamal Charles and then a couple other bits of news worth mentioning. Darrell Rivas has been cut.
Al Robinson
He's released.
Jason Moore
He's deceased from one way to put.
Al Robinson
It, from being an elite cornerback.
Jason Moore
Fred Jackson says he wants to play football again.
Al Robinson
He's got some more depth charts to assassinate.
Jason Moore
All right, Cameron Newton. Ron Rivera came out, says they want to reduce his carry total. We know that when Cam Newton doesn't have a career MVP type season, his touchdown totals through the air are not sufficient to give you QB1 numbers alone. So if he doesn't run the ball.
Andy Holloway
If he doesn't run the ball, he's a streamer.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Al Robinson
Oh, that's hot. Take.
Andy Holloway
If he's not running the ball, he. I mean, he.
Jason Moore
I think you have to define running the ball though, because if Ron Rivera reduces his total carries, but he's still a goal line quarterback, that may be enough.
Al Robinson
The touchdowns is a differentiator. And I don't remember why this. This came up, but we were talking with the writers and I was like, I'M very curious, you know, when does, when does it kind of fall apart for a running quarterback? When do those, the Russian numbers come way down. And you know, it was a pretty brief research situation but you know, Donovan McNabb, Steve McNair, these high profile guys, you know, they run. And it was year six or seven when the rushing totals saw a significant drop. So it would. This, this doesn't shock me at all that if Cam is going to start taking care of his body. We saw what happened to him last year.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he finally showed the wear and tear last year.
Andy Holloway
Would that, would that up any of the wide receivers there if he's forced to throw the ball more.
Al Robinson
More maybe. I mean you have, Ted Ginn's a free agents, Corey Brown is a free agent and David Funches is, I mean, he's basically a free agent, right?
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Al Robinson
I mean on the field I get.
Andy Holloway
What you're saying because he's not doing anything. There's a lot here to be determined, a lot of research. We're going to be putting in all of that research just to let everybody know before we get to our free agent predictions will be available in the Ultimate Draft Kit. We spend, you know, 40 hours a week just working on this stuff and we are building up the draft kit. We're going to have over 100 video profiles of us discussing every single guy so you can really get a feel for who you should like in the draft, who you shouldn't, where the values are going to be there. And also really important piece of the Ultimate Draft kit is our tier based drafting strategy. That's, that is if you're in a normal redraft or keeper or even Dynasty and you know, we'll have auction values in there too. But the normal way that you draft, if you use tiers to make your selection, that's what we always recommend. At the end of your draft, your team is going to be set up for the long haul. And so that will be in the Ultimate Draft Kit. It's available now@ultimatedraftkit.com as a pre order which means it's cheaper than it will ever be the rest of the year. So you can go check that out.
Al Robinson
And don't forget and the df, we have our new DFS pass where we're bringing you some sweet, sweet DFS information throughout the entire season.
Andy Holloway
Hotness in there.
Jason Moore
Good news guys. This just broke. I. This is going to be shocking to you. Maybe you'll be on board with him.
Al Robinson
Do we need a button?
Jason Moore
No, no. Well, you know What?
Al Robinson
You said that last time.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Breaking news.
Jason Moore
This is big, guys. This is real big. Rams general manager Les Snead has attributed Todd Gurley's Down 2016 campaign to quote a sophomore slump.
Andy Holloway
It sure was.
Jason Moore
It's only a sophomore slump.
Al Robinson
I was really hoping you say he attributed his terrible season to a Jeff Fisher.
Jason Moore
You know, I didn't read the rest of the write up, but I did happen to catch the word Trent Richardsonian.
Al Robinson
Was that the commentary or was that.
Jason Moore
Yeah, we'll move on. Okay, we'll move on. All right, let's talk free agent predictions. We're going to start at the wide receiver position. We'll start with the big boy, Alshon Jeffrey. Let's give our projections. What we're going to do is kind of pick a team that we believe could sign the player and then what they would be as a fantasy commodity at that location is a fun episode. It's a fun one to make predictions. We all like hypothesizing and picturing players in different jerseys. So I'm going to kick it off. I think Alshon Jeffrey lands in San Francisco. I think it's the best destination for him. I think you have Kyle Shanahan coming in. You want to make a splash. They have the money to spend and I think if he goes to San Francisco, Kyle Shanahan can give him an, you know, the volume will be there to be in the wide receiver. One consideration, it's the back end of that wide receiver 112 to 15 range, so maybe a high 2. But San Francisco is the destination I have for him. They have the second most cap space in the league.
Andy Holloway
I think that would be a very good location for him, fantasy wise.
Al Robinson
Depends on the quarterback.
Andy Holloway
Certainly it will, but I mean, long term it will be. It will be good. I believe a great destination for him. A team that can afford him and that could put him in the role that he has truly thrived at would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, because when he was playing with Brandon Marshall, Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey were an incredible duo. And if he can go and sit there and across the field is Mike Evans. The Bucks have to spend their giant cap money somewhere, and they've still got two years of Mike Evans on his rookie contract, which means they're not paying extravagantly for that position. You get Jameis Winston with a Mike Evans. Alshon Jeffrey. I would like all of those pieces.
Jason Moore
Mike's eyes light up with Jameis Winston.
Al Robinson
Yeah. And what on my Dynasty team. And actually, I like that for Mike Evans. I'm not one of the people who said, well, I need an Alpha and I need garbage around it because then.
Jason Moore
All the targets like Kenny Stills or something.
Al Robinson
Yeah, all the targets are force fed to the top guy. I like some of the covers being put on the other side of the field.
Andy Holloway
Absolutely. And that bears out. If you look at last year's top 12 wide receivers, you have, you know, Amari Cooper, Michael Crabtree doing well. Well, the problem, Devontae Adams wouldn't. When you've got those multiple good pieces, it just makes the offense better. You score more.
Jason Moore
All the logic makes sense. But when two Alphas are on one team, the problem becomes they want target. Yes, they want to produce at that level, but definitely a rumored destination. They have a ton of money. Mike, where do you have Alison Jeffrey landing?
Al Robinson
I've got him landed in Philadelphia. Him partnering up with what seems to be an up and coming quarterback. And Carson Wentz know that Philadelphia is in. They're a little tight with their, their cap, but as we know, teams, if they want to make something happen with the salary cap, they just, they make it happen. And Philadelphia is, they are absolutely in the market for number one. I would love this not only for, for Alshon's outlook moving forward, but I also think it would be a great bump for Jordan Matthews. I kind of talked, we just talked about. I like.
Jason Moore
He's definitely not more than one piece.
Al Robinson
Right from the slot and Jordan Matthews can get back to the role that he excels at.
Jason Moore
Sure. Okay, let's move on to Kenny Stills. I have Kenny Stills landing in Tampa, so I have him spending some of that money, probably overspending that money for Kenny Stills. Not that he's not a good wide receiver. Just that when a wide receiver enters this kind of a free agent class and the numbers get thrown around, he'll probably get paid a couple million more per year than what he's worth. But they can afford it. I think he goes there. He's a good compliment to Mike Evans and the rest of that offense. I admit there's a wide receiver three in fantasy though.
Al Robinson
How dare you.
Jason Moore
Oh, come on.
Al Robinson
Besmirch the name of Kenny Stills.
Andy Holloway
What do you have him as?
Al Robinson
That was the Besmirch Stills. Yeah, well, I have him as a wide receiver three.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, that's what I thought.
Al Robinson
But here's the thing, because I have Kenny Stills going to the Los Angeles Rams.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I can see that.
Al Robinson
And my note here is with my sadness, Kenny Stills will pack that in his suitcase as he travels across the country. And Jared Goff will do Jared Goff things and not get Kenny Stills the ball. Although, I mean, Jared Goff can throw, he can throw the ball far if there's one thing that he can do. So maybe Kenny Stills can be good for a couple of those, those touchdowns. Jason appears to be dying in the middle.
Jason Moore
Right there are the donuts.
Andy Holloway
The donuts are affecting the bloodstream.
Al Robinson
Was my Kenny Stills take just that?
Andy Holloway
It was that garbage, that garbage that. It just got lodged in the throat for me with Kenny Stills. I think he is going to resign with Miami. He's already been on two teams. I think Adam Gase likes him. I think the Dolphins, they have said they would like to resign him. The question is, will someone crazy overspend for him? Because if Tampa Bay throws the couple extra million dollars that he does not deserve and they give him that $12 million a year, then sure, he's gone. If not, I think that the Dolphins can resign him for, you know, 10 million a year, 9 million a year, too much money.
Al Robinson
It's not 700 yards, nine touchdowns.
Andy Holloway
I think I have said this in our studio off air before, but the Dolphins offense is to me something to watch out for. Because you saw year one when Kyle Shanahan went to Atlanta. Their offense was, it was all right, it was top half, but it was nothing prolific. Matt Ryan was the 22nd ranked quarterback. Adam Gaze is the same type of legitimate offensive mind, new generation type of coach. And he's coming into a team where this last year they were working some kinks out this next year, year two in that system. Ryan, Tannehill, Landry, Stills, I think they've got the weapons with the jai and I'm excited to see what the, what that offense can do. That being said, if he resigns, I see him as a wide receiver. 3 creeping on the wide receiver.
Al Robinson
2 numbers creeping like TLC.
Jason Moore
Let's talk Desean Jackson. Let's talk to Sean Jackson. I think he returns home. I think he's the guy that goes back to Philadelphia. Wide receiver, two in Philly, same D jacks, right? The big games and the disappearing games and the occasionally injured games. So that's my home for DJax. Where do you got a mike?
Al Robinson
The nice thing for desean Jackson is we were talking about this. He's. He's still got it. Oh yeah, he still is desean Jackson.
Jason Moore
And once he doesn't have it, we will know because teams won't want the rest of the package. Yeah, right. You know, you don't just take along the attitude and the Things that you get with Djax, unless he still has it. So if he gets paid, you know, he still has it.
Al Robinson
There's one thing that we agree on here is apparently that Tampa Bay is going to sign one of these free agent wide receivers. Because I'm buying into the narrative of the rumors that desean Jackson is going to go down to Tampa Bay. I would love Alshon down there. I just am not sure that they want to run into that. The money problem that you're going to have to pay Alshon and you will have to pay Evans in a couple years. I think they can get a slightly cheaper deal for desean Jackson and shorter. It's just that would be a monster boost. Monster boost for that offense.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, that would be good. I like Andy, have him going home, except I have him going back to Washington. I don't. I think they're going to sign one of Pierre Garcon or DeSean Jackson. I don't think both are going to leave. They certainly could. I looked around and I just could not find a good landing spot for desean. The one that I want him to go to is Carolina. I think it would be great there to stretch the field with the strong arm of Cam Newton. But historically Carolina does not pay for wide receivers. They've been bottom five the last several years in, you know, as far as percentage of their cap going to wide receivers.
Jason Moore
All right, 28 year old Kenny Britt.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Still just 28 years old. Mike and I share the same destination for Kenny Britt.
Andy Holloway
It's a good one.
Jason Moore
So go ahead and lay that on the people.
Al Robinson
I've got him going to Washington. Kenny Britt is going to be the diamond in the rough of this free agent class. I think that he's going to be overlooked. He's going to be overlooked by the general public. Kenny Britt had over 1,000 yards last year on the ramp, on the ramps with Jeff Fisher, with Case Keenum, Jared Goff. Jared Goff, an abomination of. Of an offense. Terrible Todd Gurley. I went full Trump right there. Terrible Todd Gurley was stinking up the joint and somehow Kenny Britt still managed to put up a solid season. He's a Jeff Fisher guy. So I just. There's all the talk is that the Rams will not bring him back.
Jason Moore
They admitted this morning that they're not. They're not going to pretty much that he's going to hit free agency and well, they're trying to aim for this life partner for Jared Goff right now. Okay. And Kenny Britt is. Doesn't represent that. And so that's why they're going to let him go. He was the best receiver on that roster. He was force fed the ball.
Al Robinson
They just, they like the name Kenny. That's why they're going to replace him with Kenny Stilts.
Jason Moore
Okay. Okay. That's strong. Strong analysis from Mike. Another reason why he's unverified. All right, I have. If Brit goes to Washington, I see him as a wide receiver. 3. Mike, you see him as a 2. Jason has him returning home.
Andy Holloway
I do. I have him going back to home. In Tennessee where they know he was a good wide receiver. They need another wide receiver.
Jason Moore
Back to home.
Andy Holloway
Back to home.
Jason Moore
I'm going back to home.
Andy Holloway
I think he'll be. If he goes back. I believe he's a wide receiver, too. Kenny Britt is talented. Kenny Britt is far more talented than, like, put it this way, Kenny Stills, who I really, really like and we've finally convinced Andy he is a good wide receiver. He has a good skill set.
Jason Moore
You had until Mike had been spouting this thousand yard thing out and got me believing he had a thousand yards last year and he had 700. Something.
Andy Holloway
But regardless, regardless. What you said is he's replaceable.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
And I, and I agree with you. Kenny Stills is a replaceable asset because he's kind of that, that fast burner guy who can, you know, try to find an open spot. But, But a guy like Kenny Britt is not as easy, easily replaceable. The guy, he's a monster. Yeah.
Jason Moore
Six, three. He's a red zone threat.
Andy Holloway
Exactly. He's a beast of a man. He's had great seasons for fantasy before. He just put up a pretty decent. Yes, but he put up a pretty decent fantasy season this last year. I was starting in many, many weeks and happy to do so with Jared Goff if he were to be able to go to a team like Tennessee and pair with Marcus Mariota. I think, I don't think his draft value is going to soar and I think he's going to be a very good value.
Al Robinson
So Kenny Brett is the.
Jason Moore
I agree with Mike. He's the bargain. He's the bargain on the free agent market.
Al Robinson
My question for you is, as Kenny Britt, you have him at Washington, you feel like he's a wide receiver. Three. So who was the one there?
Jason Moore
TBD.
Al Robinson
Okay. Because Kirk Cousins. Kirk Cousins had almost 5,000 yards.
Andy Holloway
Jordan Reed last year.
Jason Moore
No, I. Look, he could be a 2. I just don't know what the rest of that roster Looks like. So for right now, that's where I have them slotted in. Let's get. Let's talk two more wide receivers before we turn to the big names at the running back position. Let's talk Pierre Garcon. Let's talk Terrell Pryor. I'll start with the latter. Terrell Pryor. I see him just staying in Cleveland. I see him as a wide receiver, too, due to the inconsistency at the quarterback position. But I think Hugh Jackson likes Draw Prior. He had a big hand some.
Al Robinson
The only one who does.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he had a big hand in the transition from him being a quarterback into a wide receiver. It paid off big last year. To me, it's. I would say my confidence level of all these picks is the highest that Charles Pryor goes back to Cleveland.
Al Robinson
Yeah, I'm on board with that. I have him going back. I just. I don't think anyone. It's reported he's trying to get 10 to 11 million dollars. I don't see people lining up for.
Jason Moore
A guy who $106 million of cap space.
Al Robinson
Yeah, the Browns. I don't know. I thought there was rules about how much cap you had to spend. And yet the Browns are over there just sitting on their Scrooge McDuck bank vault as their team stinks into eternity.
Andy Holloway
I think they'll make a run. And you guys are probably right that he'll go back to Cleveland. That was my auto. You know, I started to type that in. But the more that I thought about, I mean, if he is 10 million a year, he is like a Kenny Brett. He's not replaceable. He is a freak athlete. And you saw some real good signs of him being a quality wide receiver last year for the hapless Browns. So I have him maybe getting that contract from the San Francisco 49ers and saying, hey, with Kyle Shanahan, let me get this crazy freak athlete wide receiver. I mean, he's no Julio Jones, right, coming from Atlanta, but you've got a young piece. And while the Browns do have the most cap space in the league, the second Most is the 49ers. So they've got the money to spend on the possibility of a real superstar type wide receiver.
Al Robinson
Well, Taro Pryor is not that young.
Andy Holloway
He's not that young, but he is that freakishly good.
Al Robinson
He will be 28 entering the season.
Jason Moore
All right, let's talk Pierre Garcon. I think if Brit is a bargain, Garcon is going to be a bargain, especially for a team that wants to contend and add a piece that is probably less expensive than, you know, you talk about Kenny Stills wanting how much?
Al Robinson
12 or. We don't know what he wants. He probably wants 25.
Jason Moore
Well, okay. But Garcon is going to cost eight or nine at this stage in his career. I see Baltimore as a great destination for him. A stabilizer, somebody that you can lean on. You saw Derek Mason and Joe Flacco and that relationship earlier in his career.
Al Robinson
How much is this related to Anquan Bolden's success?
Jason Moore
Oh, and Bolden, that's another great example. I mean, sure handed, great route runner, team leader, somebody that Harbaugh I think would really love. You know, Baltimore is the place that I think he can go and have an instant impact, replace Steve Smith as that veteran leader. So I'll go with Baltimore for Pierre Garcon. I think there are a lot of good destinations for him though.
Andy Holloway
I love the Baltimore pick. I'm actually going to go with Baltimore as well because I think he wants to go to a decent team. But I'll throw out the Chicago Bears. You know, when you're in the stage of your career where it's like maybe you get one giant contract left, you might go and take the money and the Bears are going to lose Alshon and they've got a lot of free agents, so he could end up in Chicago.
Al Robinson
I'm going a team that has really not been discussed much with any fantasy or any free agent action. That's the Buffalo Bills. And the Buffalo Bills, I mean, yeah, you got Sammy Watkins, but Robert woods, free agent Marquis Goodwin, free agent Justin Hunter, who they had caught a couple touchdowns here and there. Free agent. I mean, their, their wide receiver core, much like Chicago could be depleted by free agency. And I think that Pierre Garcon would be a fantastic combination with Sammy Watkins. You have the, you have the fire and the ice. Because I'm calling Pierre Garcon ice because he's just. I appreciate that. Just because he's reliable possession receiver to go with the, with the big play guy. I think that would be a fantastic move for Buffalo.
Jason Moore
All right, let's move on to the running backs. Let's talk about Jamal Charles. We brought him up in the news and notes. I have Jamal Charles not re signing with Kansas City, although I think that's a possibility. He wants to play for a winner.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Jason Moore
I look at what teams around the league would consider bringing him in and I think Seattle is a great destination for him. I don't think Jamal Charles is going to be expensive by any means. And you look at a team that struggled with a. Using a myriad of backs last year. You know, Rawls was injured, Pro size was injured.
Andy Holloway
You need Mike.
Jason Moore
Yeah, see, Mike was there for a little while. You have some younger players. I think Jamal Charles going to Seattle is a great option. Fantasy wise. I don't think he's anything more than a wide receiver. I mean a running back. Three in a perfect scenario.
Al Robinson
I would be very sad if he went to Seattle.
Jason Moore
Sad for whom?
Al Robinson
For Jamal Charles. Okay.
Andy Holloway
Really?
Al Robinson
That offensive line, man, we're not talking about 25 year old Jamal Charles.
Jason Moore
But Jamal doesn't have to play anything but a third down roll there if they want him to.
Al Robinson
Well, that would be. This is just more of your smear campaign on CJ Pro size.
Jason Moore
Fair enough. All right, Mike, where do you have Jamal Charles landing?
Al Robinson
I got him going to a possibility of a winner and a team that's. They don't.
Andy Holloway
They got to get younger, right?
Al Robinson
They don't mind having an older quarterback. They got Frank Gore talking about the Indianapolis Colts to go with the strategy. You got old and oldie and moldy.
Jason Moore
Is that what you call the backfield? So from fire, from fire and ice, we get to oldie and moldy. Which one's moldy?
Al Robinson
That's got to be Frank Gore.
Jason Moore
Oh, yes, look, Frank Gore.
Andy Holloway
Frank has never not been called the oldie. This is the first time that.
Jason Moore
No, I think the knee, that Jamal Charles knee is the moldy.
Al Robinson
Oh, I can't wait for 13 treadmill videos of Jamal. Now.
Jason Moore
Wasn't Jamal Charles. I mean, he was actually released with a failed physical designation, correct?
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Al Robinson
And he says he's healthy. The team says that he is healthy.
Jason Moore
Smelty.
Al Robinson
That's exactly what they say.
Andy Holloway
He's going to be a guy that I think similar to Arian Foster last year. He's going to wait a while and.
Jason Moore
He'S going to eventually retire.
Andy Holloway
He's going to sign later with a team, the team that I've got him going to later that's going to shock the world and bypass a running back in the draft. Because they always draft not what they need, but what they think is the best available, which I actually think is they do good draft strategy.
Jason Moore
100%.
Andy Holloway
Carolina does the Carolina Panthers. Carolina wants to improve their running game and they had for a long time Jonathan Stewart and D'Angelo Williams as this one, two punch. They've said we've got to get better at running. If you can bring you, you know.
Al Robinson
Jonathan Stewart and Jamal Charles, oldie And moldy part two.
Jason Moore
I just love these combos that we're.
Al Robinson
Building in the backfield. What could go wrong?
Andy Holloway
You have a team that's one year removed from the Super Bowl. He wants to go to a winner. And while I would love to see. I mean, better not go to Carolina. I wanted to put him on the Patriots, but, you know, he's got so many skill sets, you know, similar to the Dion Lewis and the James White.
Jason Moore
You just call that backfield injured reserve. That's what you call that, the injured reserve. All right, let's talk Latavius Murray. Okay. Okay. You still in love with Latavius Murray, Jason, or were you in love with that O line? Because I don't think. I think Latavius Murray gets paid a little bit. Lands in Minnesota and runs for about three a carry this year.
Al Robinson
Three a carry is. That's the rosy side?
Andy Holloway
Yeah, in Minnesota. That's really good. I think AP ran for like 1.9 a carry in Minnesota.
Al Robinson
And I'm. I'm with Andy. I got Latavius going to Minnesota. They know that Jerick McKinnon is not the answer. Asiata, I believe, is a free agent. We'll see if they bring him back. But I have him as a. I have. I would have Murray as a 2 if he goes to Minnesota. Is that O line is atrocious. They just. You can't run the ball unless if Jericho McKinnon will continue to be that the space back the satellite guy and Murray is not getting his dumped. A bunch of targets then running back to. Who's going to disappoint you a lot.
Andy Holloway
I'm going to spoil a couple of my free agent running back picks because I've got. And this has happened before, but I have a triangle of three teams that are all shifting the running back one team. I have swapsies, swapsies. I've got Latavius Murray landing in Green Bay. I think that he does a lot of what they want. He can be the bigger back like, you know, like an Eddie Lacy was. He could catch the ball like a James Starks did from time to time. They've got a great offensive line. He could pass block as well. So I think if he goes there, if he ends up in Green Bay, I've got him as a running back one. I think that would be good. I think they would be able to pay for him. They have a lot. I mean they have no money right now to the running backs. They have pretty much time Montgomery and no other running back on the roster.
Jason Moore
There Is pressure on the general manager there in Green Bay to spend some money and not waste away these Aaron Rodgers years. They are traditionally unpacker like, yeah, they're very conservative in the free agent spending, although I think you don't have to spend that much to bring in a guy like Latavius if you choose him over Eddie Lacy, who we'll talk about next because we have all these picks completely reversed here because I have Mike and I have Eddie Lacey staying in Green Bay. Jason has Eddie Lacey landing in Minnesota. And so there's your. There's the part of the triangle, part of the running back triangle. Who's up. You know, who's a better. Who's a better get in a vacuum, Murray or Lacy? Who do you think is the better get?
Al Robinson
Lacy.
Jason Moore
You still. You still believe in Lacy?
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Jason Moore
I saw him running in a fitness pool the other day, so the hype train should be through the roof.
Al Robinson
I totally get the. The fitness is a factor with Eddie Lacy, but I think Eddie Lace is actually a very, very good running back when he is in shape to play. Latavius Murray is a very athletic guy. I don't think he's a very good run.
Jason Moore
Bad vision.
Al Robinson
Yeah, well, he's got. He's got that Mark Sanchez vision a.
Jason Moore
Lot where runs right into the back.
Al Robinson
He targets that butt.
Jason Moore
Yeah, the butt target. All right, let's talk about ap. Let's talk about Adrian Peterson's potential. Last stop in the NFL here. To me. To me, this has Oakland written all over it. You know, you. You have a team that you have to objectively look as Adrian Peterson will for a contender. They're absolutely a contender. You look for a team that does not need him to carry the full load, but he could if he had one of those, you know, AP type of years where he gets into great shape, has the potential to do it. I think he can come right in. You have an amazing offensive line, the inverse of what he had in Minnesota. And they have. I think he comes in, he could be an RB2, RB3, and he could go to Oakland.
Al Robinson
It would not surprise me if he can go. If he goes to Oakland, I think he could have some decent production. I just don't think that Oakland wants him. I'm following the train of Adrian Peterson already. Before the release, the. There was some leaks happening that he would like to play for the New York Giants. When.
Jason Moore
Don't do it to me.
Al Robinson
When Rashad Jennings was cut, he said, wow, what's going on with the New York Giants?
Jason Moore
What do we have Here.
Al Robinson
Hey, guys. And now we have Ben McAdoo saying, well, I'll take a look at Adrian Peterson. And part of me wants this just to destroy Andy's dynasty roster because Dan. Because Andy has acquired both Paul Perkins.
Andy Holloway
And Adrian Peterson over this offseason, put them together.
Al Robinson
So if they can just destroy each other's value at the exact same time, I'll be very happy.
Jason Moore
The only way that works out for me is if we get the Arian Foster Ajayi backfield, where in a couple. Couple weeks goes by and Adrian Peterson just says, you know what? I don't have it anymore. And then Paul can run with it.
Al Robinson
Look, Adrian Peterson will not do that. Adrian Peterson is not Foster.
Andy Holloway
Adrian Peters. Yeah. Adrian Peterson, hall of Fame running back. Unbelievable. One of the greatest running backs to ever play the game. There's two things, though, that he can't really do. I mean, if you want to throw past catching, you can. You can kind of throw that in there. But one is hold on to the football. Right. He's a fumbler. Always has been, always will be.
Al Robinson
Which to me, that's an instant death to all the Patriots nonsense.
Andy Holloway
And the he does.
Al Robinson
Bill Belichick does not want to fumble.
Andy Holloway
Second thing that he is not that good at is running out of the shotgun. So if he goes to the New York Giants, who run out of the shotgun, run three wide receiver, this is just a terrible, terrible fit for him. So I with Andy, I've got him going to Oakland to complete that triangle shift where those three teams.
Jason Moore
This triangle is key.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, it sure.
Jason Moore
I want it to come true because I want the meme to begin.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Jason, the triangle.
Al Robinson
What's a love triangle?
Andy Holloway
It's a Phil Jackson led shift of team.
Jason Moore
You run the triangle. Okay. Scottie Pippen involved.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
All right, tight ends. Let's talk Martello. Spin it. Let's talk Jared Cook. Real quick. Some potential destinations for me. I think they got the money.
Al Robinson
I like. I like yours.
Jason Moore
Jacksonville is the home for me. I think they. They have a ton of cap space, third most in the league. They just shipped off Julius Thomas because he can't block. Martellis can block. He can catch the ball as probably better than Julius could anyways. Bring in Martellis. Give Blake Bortles another stability piece there. Help the running game. To me, he could be there. You know, he's still a tight end. Two to me because I think he's. He's hitting miss week to week.
Al Robinson
Yeah, I would agree that he'd be a two. The thing about The Bennett brothers, we know they like their money like that Jetta, I don't blame them. But they like their money. And he's got the ring. I mean, that's a wrap, man. I'm going to go get that huge contract. And Jacksonville has the space on the roster to acquire him, and they have the space in their salary cap to give him a huge truckload of money. So I like that. The hypothesis I'm throwing out, though, is like, the Oakland. We've talked about them a lot, but I like the idea of them adding an even more dominant blocking piece to that offensive line. And just another really solid weapon for Derek Carr. But Mike. Yes, Voice of public opinion, but no.
Andy Holloway
You could just call me Andy. Clive Walford is so good. I don't think people outside. Because Clive Walford.
Jason Moore
I don't think people inside know I'm.
Al Robinson
On the same page.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, we know you haven't done it on air, but you talk Clive Walford like he is the next.
Jason Moore
I do not talk. Here's when I mentioned Clive Walford, when you talking up Lance Kendricks like he's the second coming. Kendricks isn't even going to be the number one tight end on that team.
Andy Holloway
All right, we got a Lance Kendricks. Clive Walford water bet already? Am I for beats?
Al Robinson
Wait, wait.
Jason Moore
A Lance Kendrick? Clive Walford?
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
No, I didn't. I thought you were going to make a Higby bet.
Andy Holloway
No, no. A Lance Kendrick.
Jason Moore
No, I'm not making that bet.
Al Robinson
That doesn't sound like someone who believes in Clive Wolverine.
Jason Moore
If I could talk about Clive Walford less, I would, but you forced my hand.
Andy Holloway
Well, all I know is you're talking about Clive Walford.
Jason Moore
Okay.
Andy Holloway
All right.
Al Robinson
Whoa, Jay. I actually had your answer down as my original. My original. My original answer.
Andy Holloway
You shouldn't have changed it because like I said in the beginning, I do know. You know, Cameron Bray is a. Is a good tight end, but it shows that they feel they need a tight end. There have been rumors that shows that.
Jason Moore
They need a tight end. That Cameron Braid's good.
Andy Holloway
No, no, no. That they put the Tinder offer on Cameron Brait. The news that shared.
Al Robinson
It wasn't a. It wasn't a tenure.
Jason Moore
It was an exclusive rise.
Andy Holloway
Yes, but I think Martell's Bennett is. I think that's the best landing spot for him to go to Tampa Bay. They've always wanted that big tight end. You know, they drafted Austin Safari and Jenkins, but he didn't have it upstairs. And, you know, the other thing is you want to talk money. Right. Money is what matters to Martell's Bennett right now. And that's not a bad thing necessarily. He's.
Al Robinson
He said not bad at all.
Andy Holloway
You know, if you were in my shoes, you would, too. He's got the ring. So Tampa Bay has got a ton of money, and you don't pay taxes for the state.
Al Robinson
Oh, yeah.
Jason Moore
Oh, you can take that money to the next level. Very nice. Jared Cook. We all have him back in Green Bay.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Just very.
Al Robinson
The only thing we disagree on is Jason has him as a fringe one.
Andy Holloway
Yes, I do.
Al Robinson
A fringe one.
Andy Holloway
I know it's gross because I think it's disgusting. It is. Look, I want it known. Jared. Jared Cook, bad football player.
Al Robinson
I think he's an okay, but I just. They don't use the time.
Jason Moore
You want to know him. Public announcement.
Andy Holloway
Public announcement. Jared Cook, bad football player.
Jason Moore
Okay.
Andy Holloway
Public announcement. Aaron Rodgers can overcome bad football players. Parentheses C. Devonte Adams in parentheses.
Al Robinson
The. The tight end position accounted for 16% of Green Bay's passing yards. Okay, that was saying. You're not getting a tight end one out of that.
Jason Moore
Well, he was hurt. He was hurt for the majority of the year.
Al Robinson
Yeah. No, he was not hurt for majority. He was. He was. Let me count.
Andy Holloway
You have seen years before with Green Bay, with Aaron Rodgers, 10 games.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he missed a pretty big chunk.
Al Robinson
10 games is enough.
Andy Holloway
It's missing over a third of the season, I think.
Jason Moore
Yeah, good point, Jason.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, but in those 10 games, he.
Al Robinson
Gave you 30 receptions and 377 yards.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, but look at what he did in the playoffs. No, those are Green Bay games. That's. That's games. With Aaron Rodgers throwing the ball to.
Jason Moore
Jericho, it's possible he's not a one anything. It's not a one. All right, hey, look, we got to jump into quarterbacks now. I want to cover three guys. Tony Romo is set to be cut. Hasn't been cut yet. His destination, we'll talk Jay Cutler and we'll talk Colin Kaepernick as well as Kaepernick has, is now a free agent. And then we'll pick somebody that is a nobody to somebody. A free agent that most people don't really care about, that we think can turn into a fantasy starter. So let's talk Tony Romo first. Where does he land? I'm going to go with Houston. I think Houston is a team.
Al Robinson
Double dip.
Jason Moore
They're ready to rumble. They're ready to rumble. That team just needs not Brock. That's the key to their success, is the Not Brock movement.
Al Robinson
Are you ready?
Jason Moore
Like, if I had to put up, you know how like cities before the season start they put up the banners around with like the team motto for that year?
Al Robinson
Yeah, it would be a big all in.
Jason Moore
It would be a. Yeah, all in. Rise up Red Sea. This would be like a big. A big picture of Romo and then hashtag not Barack at the bottom.
Andy Holloway
Right. You know who's going to hang that up there, Way up there.
Jason Moore
See, that's the height he can get it on up there for them.
Andy Holloway
No, I like that. I. Look, if the Texans can get a cheap quarterback to come in and replace Brock, I think it's going to be good. They're not going to get Tony Romo cheap. I have him going to Denver. I think he's the leading candidate. If you want. If you're Tony Romo, you want.
Jason Moore
Simeon's almost going to be back for training camp from his injury.
Andy Holloway
Look, I picked Simeon up in our dynasty league. I think he's going to be an okay, streamable quarterback.
Jason Moore
No, Clive Walford.
Andy Holloway
Tony Romo's not there. But if I'm Tony Romo, I want to go to a place where there is a very good defense. Where I've got Demarius Thomas. Where I've got. Yeah, Demarius Thomas. Demarius Thomas. You could say DeAndre Hopkins. Sure. But then Emmanuel Sanders.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Will Fuller. I guess they're both Will Fuller. Disrespect right there.
Al Robinson
Yeah. I'm with Jason. Tony Romo to Denver. I love it. It would be spectacular. For fantasy purposes. Manuel Sanders and Thomas will skyrocket. Oh, yeah, the running game. I mean, to me that improves the running game if you actually have to respect the quarterback. And I think if Denver does this speaking just real life football, just slot them.
Jason Moore
Slot.
Al Robinson
Slot him right into the playoffs.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Okay. All right. Jay Cutler.
Al Robinson
Oh, my best friend.
Jason Moore
I think he lands in San Francisco. I changed this pick. Oh, yeah. I had, I had him going to New York, play for the Jets. I changed my mind. I think San Francisco. I'm with Mike. We both see him as a QB2 in San Francisco, pairing up with maybe an Alshon. Maybe it's somebody else.
Al Robinson
Yeah, it's the reunion they're back to. The band are back together.
Jason Moore
Look, if there's one thing Cutler knew how to do, it's chuck the ball at Alshon or whoever's one is.
Al Robinson
So my, my whole off season narrative, I've been buying into the Jay Cutler to the New York Jets. But as soon as Kaepernick strangely opted out of the. Of the contract. I don't think that he can get anything close to what he was going to make. I think that Jay Cutler could be a good fit for, for Kyle Shanahan as a bridge quarterback.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, that's, you know, when it comes to Jay Cutler, it's hard to imagine teams paying up for a guy who has, you know, every destination he's been. The teams got to a point where they hated him and they could not get out from under him because he was still a little bit better than their backups. He was paid enough, and so it's tough for me to imagine someone paying him. I'm thinking you got to be a team that just really hates your current quarterback and needs to. Needs to do something a little bit better in your eyes to justify pay for Jay Cutler. So I've got two. I got the Texans, right. The. Not Brock and I've got the Bills if they, I mean, going to both. I still think, I still think, you know, Tyrod Taylor should be their, their quarterback and probably will, but there's plenty of reports saying that they don't, they don't want him there. And if they could go get Jay Cutler, I don't know Jay Cutler, he should be a backup somewhere. He should take backup money and go be a backup.
Jason Moore
I think that was the best summary of Jay Cutler's career right there.
Al Robinson
Yes.
Jason Moore
I don't know. All right, Colin Kaepernick, the last quarterback we'll discuss here. Looks like we all have him going the same place, being the same thing.
Andy Holloway
The Jets.
Jason Moore
The jets, huh?
Al Robinson
Yeah. They got to do something.
Jason Moore
No Ryan Fitzpatrick holdout talk this year. No excitement to bring him.
Al Robinson
Well, he's going to hold out. He's just going to be holding, holding.
Jason Moore
Out hope for yet for a team that wants him. So Colin Kaepernick in New York. Yeah, I mean, his late. Look. Look at last year. I mean, you put him, he was on as bad of a team as you could be on. Still had fantasy relevance for multiple weeks at a time. In fact, had a really consistent run in the middle of the year because he can run the ball. He can run the ball and he looked good enough to get your fantasy numbers, but nothing you can count on, certainly not on a team that, you know, if they cut Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker or they change up their wide receiver core, there's going to be a lot of question marks. So I don't think we can project him as anything outside of a, you know, QB2 fair.
Al Robinson
Yeah, that's very fair.
Jason Moore
All right, we'll pick that nobody to somebody name. It's not going to be Ryan Fitzpatrick. I don't think he's the impact free agent.
Al Robinson
He's somebody to nobody.
Jason Moore
Now, for me, the free agent that isn't a free agent yet that I think will be is Ryan Matthews because. Wait, what? Yeah, Ryan Matthews will count for 5 million.
Al Robinson
I wish I had, like, fireworks and the confetti cannons.
Jason Moore
Because I think he'll be cut.
Al Robinson
No, because you think that he's going to be a somebody.
Jason Moore
Well, look, he counts. He counts for 5 million against the cap. They save 4 million if they cut him. I think they cut him.
Al Robinson
There was a report last night. I saw that they're going to keep Sprols.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean, he. This is a guy who traditionally has both been always injured and has ball security issues, but he is a good runner when given an opportunity. So you want to talk about a team that. Let's say somebody brings Ryan Matthews in. Oh, man, Washington, they don't pay.
Al Robinson
That's make it happen.
Jason Moore
Didn't I write that down there?
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Al Robinson
I don't know. Did you?
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
You have Washington, Washington and Indianapolis. Because if both of those destinations. What is that? A Ryan Matthews train?
Al Robinson
The hype train will stop.
Jason Moore
You can't even control yourself over there with Ryan Matthews. You're a bit of a fumbler yourself, so that makes sense.
Al Robinson
Yeah.
Jason Moore
All right. That's my pick for Washington Indy. Ryan Matthews could land there. A guy like Gore could be done. All of a sudden, Ryan Matthews is handling the majority of the carries in Indianapolis.
Andy Holloway
Man, I would love it if he goes there because Mike's hype train would derail his own dynasty team that has Rob Kelly.
Al Robinson
Yeah, hey, I'll take it.
Jason Moore
Works for me.
Al Robinson
I will take it. I will sacrifice.
Andy Holloway
All right, I'll. You know, the guy that I think is a nobody to somebody is actually a somebody for fantasy just about every year. And that's Brian Hoyer. Brian Hoyer is going to sign. There's a lot of talk at the combine right now from GMs that are saying, you know, look, we just need to get signed someone like a Brian Hoyer and draft a quarterback for the future. He's not a great long.
Jason Moore
Do a lot of people use him as that? Like, yes, that's.
Andy Holloway
I saw it. Yes. I saw a Twitter report saying that. That's what they're hearing a lot of times. Sign someone like a Brian Hoyer and.
Al Robinson
Draft quarter like, pops up. He goes, hey, guys, I'm right here. They're like, no, we need someone like a Brian Hoyer.
Andy Holloway
Not the Brian Hoyer. All right, I'll leave you. You have.
Jason Moore
And then Ryan Mal pokes his head and goes, huh?
Andy Holloway
A guy that's had streamable fantasy relevance in Cleveland, in Houston and in Chicago.
Al Robinson
He was great in Houston and he was great in Chicago.
Andy Holloway
That's my point. And so, I mean, if I'm a GM, give me Brian Hoyer for cheaper over Jay Cutler 100 out of 100 times.
Jason Moore
Do you think a guy like Sean McVay knows in his heart already that if he just brought Brian Hoyer in his season would be better than if he tried with Jared Goff in any way?
Andy Holloway
He knows it would be, but he wouldn't. He wouldn't.
Jason Moore
That's not what Los Angeles fans want to hear. That being said, they want to hear the future is bright for Jared Goff.
Andy Holloway
Man. They. I love, I just love that Houston, they, they got rid of Brian Hoyer and they brought in the 70 million dollar Brock Osweiler and they, they could be decent with Ryan Hoy.
Jason Moore
All right, finish this thing up for us, Mike.
Al Robinson
All right. Could I.
Jason Moore
Are you making a change? Are you going with this name I see on paper?
Al Robinson
No, you're going. I'm going with that name on paper. I didn't even have to write that name down. My esteemed colleague knows my train of thought. Can I interest you in 27 carries for 119 yards and two touchdowns?
Andy Holloway
27 carries? That was. No, not really. That's not the way to interest me. No, I'm not interested in 27 carries. Those were very efficient, Jason and I pass. I like the player, but not interested in 20. You lead off with.
Al Robinson
Can I interest you in 27 carries for 119 yards?
Jason Moore
Okay. Well, yeah.
Al Robinson
Well, Mr. Todd Gurley, welcome to 4.4.
Jason Moore
How many people run 27 for 119 yards? There's always a handful of Andre Ellingtons in the world.
Andy Holloway
That's what? 4.4.4? It's not like he ran for 8 yards of carry on 27 carries.
Jason Moore
Mike looks genuinely flabbergasted that we're not like in awe of this hypothetical superstar.
Al Robinson
You don't like 4.4?
Jason Moore
Say his name.
Al Robinson
Rex Burkhead. Deal with it. Rex Burkhead is good. Is going to take this world by storm. He will get an opportunity. The great, the great Evan Silva also agrees with me that Rex Burkhead will be something.
Andy Holloway
Look, I think Rex Burkhead actually a decent running back. I just can't fathom the lead off of. Can I interest you with 27 carries for 100 yards?
Al Robinson
Like. No, not really. No, it wasn't 100, it was 119.
Andy Holloway
My apologies.
Al Robinson
You should.
Andy Holloway
You should feel terrible. Oh, Rex Burkhead closing out the show.
Jason Moore
Hold on a second. Hold on a second. I want to give you. I want to break this down for you because I thought this would happen. Let me remind you, 2011, this player, 109 attempts for 531 yards and one touchdown. 4.9 a carry. Toby Gerhardt.
Andy Holloway
Oh, very good player.
Al Robinson
Fair.
Andy Holloway
Unless he's on the one yard line.
Jason Moore
Listen to this. 2013 for Minnesota, 36 for 283. That's 7.9 a carry for Toby Gerhardt.
Andy Holloway
You can interest me in that.
Jason Moore
Yeah, sign me some. You can interest me in that. All right, we better wrap this up before it gets out of control. Stay tuned. Some beats for the show.
Andy Holloway
After the show, go subscribe on YouTube and enjoy what is about to come up or down. I won't.
Jason Moore
And don't forget, fantasy jocks for your trophy needs. Take care.

Fantasy Footballers Podcast 2017 Summary: Free Agency Predictions & Fantasy Implications
Release Date: March 2, 2017
In this episode of the Fantasy Footballers Podcast, hosts Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike "The Fantasy Hitman" Wright dive deep into the 2017 NFL free agency landscape, offering their predictions and analyzing the potential fantasy football implications. The trio navigates through team needs, player performance, and cap space considerations to forecast where key free agents might land and how these moves could impact fantasy rosters.
The episode kicks off with a humorous discussion about Al Robinson's struggle to get verified on Twitter. Jason Moore quips, “'Now, see, there are, at this point, there are just theories circulating as to why the verification will not happen...'” (01:00). The hosts playfully accuse Jason of perpetuating Al's unverified status with jokes about his Twitter handle. Al humorously vents his frustration, saying, “'Twitter, you can eat my butt.'” (01:38). The conversation lightens the mood as they celebrate Al's upcoming birthday and tease each other about their morning routines involving donuts and beets.
The hosts discuss ESPN’s report about the New Orleans Saints potentially trading wide receiver Brandon Cooks to either the Tennessee Titans or the Philadelphia Eagles. Al Robinson emphasizes Cooks' value to the Saints, stating, “'Should they trade him? ... But just way too many reports of will the Saints be trading Brandon Cooks.'” (06:40). Andy Holloway reflects on the Saints' recent history of trading key players, noting their pattern of moving talents like Jimmy Graham and Reggie Bush despite their contributions.
Jason Moore highlights that the Washington Redskins have placed the exclusive rights franchise tag on quarterback Kirk Cousins, enabling them to negotiate a long-term deal or potentially trade him. Andy speculates, “'...he’s playing for Washington for one more year and then he’s going to go sign with the 49ers.'” (08:25).
The conversation shifts to running backs Adrian Peterson and Jamal Charles. Jason Moore points out that the Minnesota Vikings chose not to pick up Peterson's option, citing cost concerns. Andy Holloway expresses skepticism about Peterson’s future, while the hosts debate Charles’ potential return to Kansas City or landing on a new team seeking a seasoned back.
The hosts touch on Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers, discussing possible reductions in his carrying duties and the subsequent impact on his fantasy value. They analyze how this move could influence the team's wide receiver opportunities and overall offensive strategy.
