And speaking of which, we've got some news and notes from around the league I wanted to talk about before we get into today's show, which will be we're going to talk mostly about free agent tight ends, some quarterbacks. Some quarterbacks. Kind of a nasty crop of quarterbacks. But there's some implications there in the fantasy world for who they, what teams are leaving and what that means for their other guys as well. But the news I want to talk about first, here is Mr. ADP number one right now.
Jason Moore
Oh yeah.
Andy Holloway
Le'Veon Bell.
Jason Moore
Yeah, the, the news I, I'm hearing is not the most flattering. Now we're talking about a maximum of a four game suspension. People seem to have forgotten because he had such a monster year. They forgot the year started with him being arrested with his Compadre Legare blunt in a unflattering situation.
Andy Holloway
In a blunt situation.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
And last year that dropped his draft stock in that first round. I remember it was delicious. Andy Holloway and both of you guys recommending not to drop the draft stock because you knew he wouldn't be suspended last year because based on NFL history. But now, now he will be missing some games.
Andy Holloway
Yes. And it to me it's still likely that he misses two. But the implication for four game because first timers on the substance abuse policy, it's a flat two game suspension.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Correct.
Andy Holloway
But when you're caught with multiple substances there's the potential to go to four. And because marijuana is illegal in Pennsylvania, he also had the alcohol. There's the potential for a four game suspension.
Jason Moore
It's not just he got busted for the pot, it's because he got arrested for a dui.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah.
Jason Moore
So it's a double, double substance, double trouble.
Andy Holloway
So what does that mean to this ADP1 overall guy right now? If he give me, give me the scenarios. If he goes a two game or a four game, where is he change in your first round? Because I'm guessing he doesn't drop out of your first round.
Jason Moore
Unlikely two game. I draft him as usual and I figure out what to do for two games. Four games, that's, that's a lot different though. I mean that's 25% of your.
Andy Holloway
Well, it's more than that. It's a third of the season for a lot of, a lot of leagues. Because you're talking about the fantasy playoffs. So 12 game season. Nobody likes this.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I'm actually surprised to see him ADP number one. Knowing the two game suspension. You know, he's great. I love him. He's going to put up numbers but you have no clue who's going to finish number one. You never know for sure any of these guys. And there's a handful of guys that are all worthy of being able to finish number one. You know for a fact that he will miss two games. You know for a fact that will hinder him finishing number one. So why take that risk?
Jason Moore
I think it's because he's just so.
Andy Holloway
Versatile and demarco situation too. I mean if demarco's locked in and Dallas, I think he can, he could have usurped Le'Veon ADP wise already.
Jason Moore
Oh yeah.
Andy Holloway
You know what I mean.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I agree that if we knew for sure he was going back. But Bell is just responsible for so much of that offense. He is the reason he's the Engine of why it moves. And he, he helps Antonio Brown, he helps Big Ben, he.
Andy Holloway
Plus, that's just what you see in fantasy football. The guy from last year. This number one is the number one guy this year.
Jason Moore
Yeah. If I'm drafting him, let's say I have the first pick and I take Bell. It's not necessarily. I believe he's going to finish as the first running back because historically speaking it's just unlikely. However, I consider him to be safe to be. To finish in a top five position, which is what I really want. If I had three, we've talked about that. I don't want to blow it.
Andy Holloway
That's exactly your goal. Your goal, as a piece of advice, your goal is to draft a guy who has the highest chance of finishing in the top five. You're not going to guarantee, like Jason said, you know, nobody repeats unless you're Ladanian Tomlinson most often. But a guy like Jamal Charles, you know, somebody who has a track record. We talked about Demarys Thomas in the wide receivers last week. Guys who has a track record of finishing in the top three, that's what you want. You don't want to miss the boat completely. Other news, we also have. We talked about it being franchise day. It is early in the morning here on March 2nd, so we haven't heard the franchise news, but all indications are that Demarys Thomas and Des Bryant will be franchised today.
Jason Moore
Thomas, they came out and they said he's getting tagged for sure.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Done deal.
Jason Moore
Yeah, the. Des is. I mean, that's got to be what, a 99% chance?
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I mean they basically, I think came out and said all indications are that he's being.
Jason Moore
I'm still waiting on that video today. Oh, imminent. The release of the video.
Andy Holloway
The Florio is imminent. Wow.
Jason Moore
Kind of.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Jerry.
Andy Holloway
Not there.
Jason Moore
Do they.
Andy Holloway
Is that what it. Basically it disappeared because somebody did buy it.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah. I still think there's a video. I just don't think it's ever going to come out because I think it's an extortion video and I think they're going to succeed in extortion.
Andy Holloway
What are the implications on his draft position if he's got a video that's been extorted?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
No, no.
Jason Moore
If the video has disappeared already.
Andy Holloway
I'm just. Yeah, I'm just joking because it's ridiculous because he's. We don't know anything. Yeah, we don't know anything except for the fact that Dallas probably wants leverage in a long term contract deal. Is he, Is he a first Round wide receiver to me.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
So back. Back in.
Jason Moore
That's sans video.
Andy Holloway
Well, yeah, let's. Let's live in a world without the video. Since we have no video.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yes. For me, I drop him out of the first. Not in any way, shape or form because of the video. I just think there's better wide receivers I'd like over him.
Jason Moore
Who are you taking over? Does Brian.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I didn't put him in my top five for next year. And there's.
Jason Moore
Are you talking about the article?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah, it's called the fantasy footballers.com guys. It's amazing. You got to go and check it out. But there's an article.
Andy Holloway
How much does it cost?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Oh, it's hugely valuable. But it's free. Yeah. But on there I put some of my projected top five wide receivers and standard scoring.
Andy Holloway
You do have him at 4, des. Yes.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Scroll down.
Andy Holloway
Oh, you're right. That was last year. My apologies. You know your article better than me. Amazing.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
But he did. He did finish four last year. So. Andy, always on point.
Andy Holloway
Oh, let's talk about Roy. Hello. For a second. Okay. Because last week. No, no, no, no. This is Roy. Hello. Because last week I got the business from both of you when I. When you weren't listening, when you said I wasn't listening, but you brought up Roy Hulu as being a very poor pass. Blocker. And then I. Apparently, I could swear that was Jock.
Jason Moore
Was Rogers.
Andy Holloway
No, it was Roy who. You weren't listening either. And. And I told him, I go, well, yeah, you know, he had just said, roy, who's a terrible pass blocker. And I go, yeah, he's a wonderful pass blocker. He's really great. That's what the value. So he was, I guess, 49th last year, but I insisted to him that he had been a top pass blocker. And so what did you find out?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I found out that he was the number 49 pass blocker last year and the year before. The year before, he was number three overall.
Andy Holloway
So somewhere in the recesses of my halloo brain, I was right. Ish. Right. Ish. Other news for you, it's conceded that DeMarco's hitting the open market.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Hitting it, not necessarily leading.
Andy Holloway
And his ADP is dropping right now. Not crazily, but you're talking about. He was kind of fourth. Fourth, fifth in the first round. And he's dropped a couple spots. Obviously where he lands is humongous to his value. And we think it's not Dallas. We think it's Dallas. I mean, I kind of wonder how much money he's going to get elsewhere.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I still think it's Dallas. You know, the only reason I don't see him going back to Dallas is if AP becomes completely available and obtainable by the Cowboys. Because I think the Cowboys want ap, but it doesn't look like the Vikings are going to cut him. And to trade him, he'd want probably too much money than Dallas can pay. So I still think DeMarco Murray ends up back in Dallas. He tests the free agent market, free agent market's not going to be that great. And he's going to come back at a sad amount of money for him and great for the Cowboys.
Andy Holloway
Let me ask the hitman a question.
Jason Moore
Yes, sir.
Andy Holloway
La'Veon Bell or DeMarco Murray back in Dallas right now.
Jason Moore
Oh. Who if.
Andy Holloway
Who do you take between them? If Murray's back in Dallas and you had the pick between the two, you're sitting there on the clock. You're. I know at number one, you'd take Eddie Lacy right now.
Jason Moore
That is actually. That's true.
Andy Holloway
But if you. If you had to choose between these two, if it's.
Jason Moore
If it's today, I guess you have to go Murray just to be safe on. Because I'm spending a top pick and I'm scared of the four games. But if it's two games for Le'Veon.
Andy Holloway
Bell, you go back to Levy.
Jason Moore
I probably still take Bell because of the. The amount of carries that DeMarco Murray saw and touches last year is just ridiculous.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I'm more scared of DeMarco Murray's body than I am Le'Veon Bell's suspension. For that reason, I would go Le'Veon.
Jason Moore
Bell over to Marco Murray and I was. I was terrified for Murray. Every. Every single week I was expecting an injury to pop up. So add in the mileage. It's. I understand. I've never tried to take away from his talents. It's just a. I want my guy on the field. And Murray. Murray hasn't really done that except for last year and he did it way too much, I guess.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, we should. We should start a service for buy in fantasy football leagues where people can buy player insurance against players like Murray.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Murray would go very high then.
Andy Holloway
Yes. Big news, guys. I don't know. Hold on to something if you can.
Jason Moore
Are you sitting down?
Andy Holloway
Grab that paper. Josh McCown is a Cleveland Brown.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Oh, man.
Andy Holloway
He has now played for every CFL team and every NFL team.
Jason Moore
He did it.
Andy Holloway
Completed it.
Jason Moore
We did it. Congratulations to Josh McCown.
Andy Holloway
When I was like a Teenager. I watched him play for the Cardinals at Sun Devil Stadium before they even had a new stadium. He was the starting quarterback. That seems like a generation ago.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I forget that's the same Josh McCall.
Andy Holloway
I know it's got to be some different guy, right?
Jason Moore
I have. I have a strong memory of having a conversation with my dad of can Josh McCowan be the guy? And I was just a young pup and I'm like, yeah, Josh McCowan, you can do it.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Eight year old hitman.
Jason Moore
I was very wrong.
Andy Holloway
That's because it was 2002. That's why you talk that way. 2002. He was a Cardinal man.
Jason Moore
But his career is really admirable and fascinating of you go from out of the league. He thinks he's done. He's, I believe was.
Andy Holloway
Didn't play in 06, didn't play in 2010.
Jason Moore
And he was a. I think a high school coach and was doing some teaching. Gets a call from the Bears that says, hey, you know, we want you to come try out. He talks to his wife and decides, okay, I'll do it. Ends up as the. As the backup comes in. When Cutler goes out with a monster year, the Tressman system, does he send loyalties?
Andy Holloway
Does he send royalties to Mike? Trust me.
Jason Moore
And then. So that one year got him the starting gig in Tampa Bay where. How much did he make? Like, I think it was $5 million. And I believe he's gonna make another $5 million in the Browns. So he should at least send Trustman at least a million dollars.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
That's.
Andy Holloway
Hey, it's been a crazy career. And honestly, when you look at the free agent crop and you look at Cleveland situation, why wouldn't you want Josh McCann starting?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Oh, yeah, he's the starter there. I think Josh McCown starts week one. Calling it now.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I completely agree. He's. He is there to try and help stabilize Johnny Clown. Clown. Zell. I mean.
Andy Holloway
Oh, man, you're off. You're off the Johnny.
Jason Moore
Oh, yeah.
Andy Holloway
Look, you gave me right then.
Jason Moore
Johnny.
Andy Holloway
Just a. Yeah.
Jason Moore
I will fully admit he was a very interesting guy. I thought he would grow up when he got into the NFL.
Andy Holloway
You went to bat for him.
Jason Moore
I was very incorrect on his Donnie Clown show. His moral fiber, however. And this is why you go with McCown over Hoyer. Hoyer. Hoyer doesn't give a crap about Johnny Manziel. He's delighting. As much as one can take delight in the fall of the first round quarterback. McCown's gonna come in. He'll play his One year and Well, I mean with a guy with that teaching background that's perfect to have to have him.
Andy Holloway
He's smarter than. Yeah, he's been around the block. He's played under good quarterbacks in different systems.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
But most importantly, now we can discuss the free agency of Brian Hoyer who is now Bills like.
Andy Holloway
And now we can move on from discussing the free agency of Brian quarterbacks in general.
Jason Moore
How sad and how slighted is Rex Ryan for missing out on the Josh McGowan sweepstakes.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Seriously, that's ridiculous. Those guys, the jets and Buffalo. I'm really curious to see what those coaches do at the quarterback position because they're both good coaches. They're both defensive minded coaches. Which one ends up with a better mediocre quarterback?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Mark Sanchez reunites for the tattoo.
Andy Holloway
Goodness. Yeah.
Jason Moore
You think so?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I do, I do. I think he goes back EJ Manual. I mean we can make fun of butt Fumbler all day but Sanchez is way, way better than E.J. manuel right now. And you know, and he's already got the tattoo so it's pretty much.
Jason Moore
He recolored.
Andy Holloway
Really funny.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
He recolored through our sex that he.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Would be going to.
Andy Holloway
That's the punter's number I think right now. Right.
Jason Moore
Yeah, it is. And I think I actually I'm starting to think that the jets are just going to ride Geno.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Because he did play well at the end of the year.
Jason Moore
Yeah. And I think they'll. Because they're. Which I'm. I just segued into. Our next news of where it. The smoke is gathering that the Eagles are going to do everything they can to move up for. For Mr. Mariota, reunite him with his former college coach and where I think the. The jets have so many problems. If you're sitting at number six and you're. You're doing the. The toe in the water, say hey, hey Eagles, we're gonna take him and you get what you can get.
Andy Holloway
A haul.
Jason Moore
Yeah, you. Well, especially if they move back to where the Eagles are currently sitting. Yeah, you're gonna get. I don't even know what it takes in that little draft value chart to move up from the 20s to number six. I mean what does that take? A two picks and a first.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. You're probably given to move there. You're given your first. You're giving your second and your third.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Probably or your first the next two years.
Andy Holloway
Something. Something big. I mean that's Julio Jones trade type of situation.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I think Mariota slips past them and I Think that they trade up but into the teens and give less.
Andy Holloway
Well, let's talk about the implications fantasy wise on if Mario lands in Philly, because this could be the one situation. I mean that because of the offense, the system, the player, the knowledge base of the offense already some of the things you shortcut when you come and you play for your college coach, the guy you almost based your offense around, he to me has, you know, kind of RG3 year one fantasy potential potentially at a value if the hype train doesn't go nuts, if he gets signed there.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Can Mariota give you fantasy numbers?
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
I don't know how much you guys watched Oregon, but, you know, a little bit.
Jason Moore
But I like my quarterbacks late, so I mean, I have a couple guys where I'm targeting Eli Manning and Joe Flacco to be. To get them, you know, ninth, tenth round. Let's say something somehow implodes. I don't mind going week one with Mariota if he's on. If he's on the Eagles, of course, just give it a ride and I mean then you can just stream and find another option. But I don't mind taking him really late and seeing how it works out.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I've never had an opinion like I do on Mariota where I think whether it's year one or year ten, Mariota is a good NFL quarterback on the Eagles and a bad NFL quarterback anywhere else. I've never felt like that ever. So it's a weird Kelly fan and.
Andy Holloway
You have had guys, I mean, Cam Newton, RG3, they've had fantasy impacts in year one.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
With legs.
Andy Holloway
With legs and Mariotis. Yes, he does. Do you guys want to just kind of wrap up the quarterbacks then? Since we talk about quarterbacks a little bit?
Jason Moore
I think that's.
Andy Holloway
Let's go through the quarterbacks here. We talked about Josh McCown. I don't think there's, you know, there's not a lot of fantasy relevance here, so I don't want to linger too long. But Mark Sanchez, if he's gone. We just talked about Mariota's situation. If Mariota doesn't go there, it's probably Foles again in Philly. What. Who's Nick Foles? I mean, what is he. He had that, that kind of great year where he wasn't turning the ball over.
Jason Moore
Well, if you really watched what was happening, I think that was just a, A lot of luck built into that because he was still making. He was still making throws that he should not. He was just getting a. Getting that fluke dropped continuously from the, the defense. But I, I think Foles is a good quarterback. I don't know if he's great, but he has to carry value, especially if they're, I mean they are trying to move up. You're going to. What do you do with Foles? You can't, you can't take a guy with.
Andy Holloway
He's part of that trade. Probably.
Jason Moore
Maybe. I mean I don't know if the jets want him for the, for the system that they. That chengily runs, but you can't have a guy with that experience, with that amount of success and just put him on the bench and get nothing for him. You got to use that, that chip and cash it into at least something.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
So let's say he's, he's back in Philly. Mariota is nowhere to be found. Who do you like between say a Flacco or, or Foles?
Andy Holloway
I still, I'm gonna go with the offense system there and I'll go with Foals.
Jason Moore
Foals will, will cost more on draft day. So that's why I would go with Flacco and I have, I have that weird, that weird butterflies in my stomach for Joe Flacco this year.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Okay, so if Mark Sanchez goes to the Bills, what value does he have? Does he have any. I mean you got a much.
Andy Holloway
He's got Ryan Fitzpatrick Bills value from like a few years ago.
Jason Moore
No way.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Sammy Watkins. Now I'm trying to build up Rox Sanchez.
Jason Moore
Fitzpatrick was. Is the king of the coming out with his slings. No, the first two months of Fitzpatrick, maybe two months is stretching him. But the first month and a half.
Andy Holloway
I did forget he started that. Well, you're right, he did.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
So you and he's not Sanchez.
Jason Moore
He Fitzpatrick and he played fantasy wise played quite well in Houston. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
If Sanchez went to so Buffalo, there's no value.
Jason Moore
No. What value did he have at the. When Rex Ryan was coaching the Jets?
Andy Holloway
Yeah. No value.
Jason Moore
His value was running into dudes butts entertainment.
Andy Holloway
Entertainment value. Poor guy. That butt Fumble is going to stay.
Jason Moore
With him forever because it's the funniest play you've ever seen in your life.
Andy Holloway
It was brutal. It was a brutal play that just totally illustrated the entire jets team in one play. So free agents that we have here are McCown, Sanchez, Brian Hoyer we talked about. Jake Locker is a free agent and Ryan Mallett is a free agent. Is there anything of interest to talk about here? I mean Mettenberger, if Locker's gone, he's the starter yes. If they don't draft.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I think they're going to roll Mettenberger to say that the one thing, the one, I guess rumor floated. Maybe not even just a rumor, just a. Trying to connect the dots. Interest is if Chicago, because Chicago is not getting behind Jay Cutler with anything they have to say he is. He has a very difficult contract to do anything with. You can't cut him because your. Your dead money is just not worth the. Not worth the return and trading him. I mean who's gonna take on that contract besides a team like a Buffalo? If for some reason Rex Ryan thought they were very close, you would, you would pay the price to bring in a quarterback who can. Who has shown he can actually play the game. But it's the. Then the question becomes if Jay Cutler get. If they move on from Jay, what do they do? Because why would you move on from a guy who can actually win games and just throw garbage in there? And the name Jake Locker is somewhat interesting of you get a guy who was drafted in the first round. We don't really. I don't think it's completely fair to know who Jake Locker is besides a guy who gets hurt all the time. And we don't know exactly what he brings to. To the NFL besides that injury history.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
You know who Jake Locker reminds me of? I would describe him as a poor man's Jay Cutler. So maybe.
Jason Moore
But you.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Maybe you could pay him literally the poor man's j.
Andy Holloway
You remember Jay Cutler, Jake Locker, when he came out. If you would have came out of Washington the year before he did, he was the number one pick in the draft.
Jason Moore
That's. He pulled.
Andy Holloway
He did the. He did the. Matt Leinert.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah, I was gonna say so was Matt Leinert. That doesn't.
Andy Holloway
Well, would have been. Yeah. And then I, I tend to think that like a quarterback like this, they rise to the top a little sooner. So I don't know if he has. Has much value or not, but. Any other thoughts on Nettenberger does he have? I see. Irrelevant. I don't want to make something out.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Of nothing that that offense isn't worth drafting.
Jason Moore
So yeah, it depends on what they do in the draft or free agency if they can get anybody worth an offensive weapon in there.
Andy Holloway
All right, let's talk about free agent tight ends. Much more exciting, much more impactful to the fantasy football season because these guys are big names. The biggest of them all. Orange Julia, Orange Julius.
Jason Moore
Go down to the mall.
Andy Holloway
His options are obviously very limited. He has to go to a team that wears orange. So his only options are Cincinnati, Cleveland, the Browns.
Jason Moore
Browns, now that they're orange.
Andy Holloway
You can't abandon a nickname like that. Yeah. So Julius Thomas. All indications have been that he will be gone. Pretty well established that he'll be gone. But there are some talks that Peyton's restructuring could enable him to keep Julius.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
And that Peyton would restructure so that they could keep Julius.
Andy Holloway
That reminds me of the Brady Welker thing that happened and didn't happen where Brady restructured and didn't get to keep Welker. Thought he did.
Jason Moore
Right.
Andy Holloway
If Julius Thomas moves on, he's probably signing with one of those. The Raiders of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Jason Moore
Yeah, probably. I mean, he's. He's going for the money, which he should. Just before we form. Moved on to the what with Manning. What are you doing with that contract dude? Like, do you want to win? Does he want to win or does he want to just be. Have more money than he can ever spend in his. In three lifetimes.
Andy Holloway
You're saying the idea that he isn't restructuring right now.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Is just ridiculous.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I. I don't know. I don't know what his thought process is.
Jason Moore
You're. He has. He has to.
Andy Holloway
He gets one last shot, right?
Jason Moore
Yeah. He's coming back to win. So why would. Why has he strapped the Broncos with such a high?
Andy Holloway
It has seemed confusing.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Well, it might. It might be literally a power play of I'll restructure. If he wants certain players. Right. I mean, he wants Julius Thomas, but probably more than he wants them to go out and sign a corner. And so if he's not restructuring his deal and saying, I'll restructure, but here's kind of what I'm looking for, then you kind of. You have to do what he says. That's not very nice, Peyton. And of course, I am making this all up, so I'm not very nice either.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I mean, he wants. He wants to succeed, but he's not.
Jason Moore
Putting the team in a position.
Andy Holloway
I think he's waiting to see how the chips fall. I think what Jason says. Right. I think it's a. You know, you get demarious. Oh, he's back. You know, where's Wes go? What happens with my tight end situation? What happens with what the offense looks like and his health. They say he's still waiting on his health.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
The question that really fantasy. I mean, you're. You're listening to a fantasy podcast with fantasy experts. Because the questions like this. This is the real question that we need to Answer with Julius Thomas is how good is Julius Thomas as a, as an NFL tight end and how much was what he did a result of Peyton Manning? Because he's going to be presumably leaving and the question as to where to draft him is how much was Peyton? Obviously a part of it was Peyton, but a part of it was him. So what's, where does that lie? Where is his value aside from Peyton?
Jason Moore
I'm going it was 70 to 75%.
Andy Holloway
Peyton, I would agree, but not necessarily Peyton, just the opportunities of goal line touchdowns. So I think he's a really good player. But if you put him in Jacksonville or you put him in Oakland, simply the goal line opportunities go down. So I think he can be a productive player. But you're talking productive like a Delaney Walker who is on a team that's offense just isn't prolific. I mean, would you agree with that?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
So you go, so Julius Thomas goes to Jacksonville. Who do you prefer between Julius Thomas and say Travis Kelsey? Andy?
Andy Holloway
Kelsey.
Jason Moore
That's not even close.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah, that's why I went with Andy, because I know you, you, like myself, have a man crush.
Jason Moore
Travis. Kelsey Fasano is released.
Andy Holloway
Oh, I don't know.
Jason Moore
Zeus.
Andy Holloway
Oh, don't get too high.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Oh, I'm high.
Andy Holloway
Don't get too high. Oh, I'm taking Travis Kelsey's good, but he's not, he's not done it.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Oh, he.
Jason Moore
I'm taking like the fourth round.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I watched enough of him. I watched enough of him to know he is, he is like a.
Andy Holloway
There's a lot of time between now and then. Well, not. They're not going to roll one guy.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
He has proven it. I'm telling you. I watched the games.
Andy Holloway
I watch him sign Jordan Cameron next week and then start crying or Jermaine Gresham or Niles Paul because Jordan Cameron.
Jason Moore
Will be getting home from his grocery store visit. He'll stand up too quick and hit his head on the, on the trunk and then he's out.
Andy Holloway
I feel like we need to water bet Travis Kelsey.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Right now.
Jason Moore
All right, where, what, what are we getting? What are the odds on this?
Andy Holloway
If you're, if you're putting him in the middle of the third or the fourth round.
Jason Moore
I'm just saying where I would take.
Andy Holloway
Right.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I know the reason we're doing that is because we are sure he's a top five. Sure. Sure. Absolutely positive he's a top five.
Jason Moore
I think he's a top three.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
That's the bet I want to make. And of course that's the One you do. I know, but listen, I'm talking to Hitman here.
Jason Moore
All right, top three, Hitman, you better bring it.
Andy Holloway
So top three.
Jason Moore
Top three.
Andy Holloway
Okay, Kelsey, that's an easy bet. That's an easy bet for me.
Jason Moore
Yep. I'll do it.
Andy Holloway
And you know, Julius, if he leaves, he's one dropping out the top. Top three for you, so. All right, top three. Kelsey.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Put it on the board.
Andy Holloway
Put it on the board. We've got. Put it on the water bet, which will.
Jason Moore
Which will also be a feature of the site, the fantasy footballers dot com.
Andy Holloway
Oh, we do. We got to get the board up there. The water bets.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
The waterboard.
Andy Holloway
The waterboard. There you go.
Jason Moore
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Andy Holloway
Waterboarding videos. So Jason still needs to get wet, by the way, because he lost the Fitzgerald bet.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that. That happened quickly.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
This is the off season. I'm not supposed to be losing.
Andy Holloway
Kelsey. One won't happen quickly, but I do hope that, like, tomorrow they sign another guy and I'm just laughing. Top three bet, Hitman and myself. Sounds good to me. All right, so Julius, his ADP is dropping. He started at the middle of the third. He's back down to the fourth round. If he's back, I mean, is there any reason to be concerned?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
No.
Andy Holloway
So he's just. He's a top three guy.
Jason Moore
No, Top five. Top five.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah. I take him. I take him three. Absolutely without hesitation. If he's. If. If he's back, there's no reason on planet earth that he's not top three and Mike would get watered.
Jason Moore
I think the reason he's not top three is because he's touchdowns.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah, the Broncos are going to put up a lot of those things.
Jason Moore
Well, maybe.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I guess we'll wait and see. Jordan Cameron, he'll be gone. They're not going to pay him in Cleveland.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Oh, he's already said he's. So he's called the Browns a clown show.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Although Falcons, Seahawks.
Jason Moore
I said classifying Jordan Cameron as a tight end. I don't know if we can do that because back when the Jimmy Graham thing happened, he switched his Twitter profile to say he's a pass catcher.
Andy Holloway
So wait, we're not allowed to talk about him next.
Jason Moore
So we have the. The rumors of. Or I guess just the quality landing spots of him going to the Falcons or the Seahawks. The Falcons makes more sense to me than the Seahawks. I don't think the. The Seahawks will be willing to pay him that money where the Falcons need. Well, I guess they don't need need, but you know what I mean? They would, it would improve their offense tremendously if they didn't have Toy Lolo.
Andy Holloway
You see his numbers? Do we talk about that on here? Toy Lolo, how often he was targeted and how his catch rate was so low.
Jason Moore
I was gonna say his pat. His numbers were low. Low.
Andy Holloway
He didn't. Here's the thing about Lolo. He. Toy Lolo ran routes at high percentages. So his like percentage of catches per routes run is just disastrously low. Like, I think they just tested it out last year and they said, hey, is this the next. The step in for Tony Gonzalez? And no, no is the answer.
Jason Moore
Did Matt Ryan just looking in the huddle was Matt Ryan giggling every single time he called the route refer Toy Lolo? Yeah, you go do something.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Atlanta needs a tight end, and if they sign a quality tight end, I'm actually really excited about about that player because I think they'll get the work on a good offense with a great offensive coordinator. So I'm really excited to see who they pick up. They've already pretty much said they're out of the Julius Thomas race, so they're not looking big money, they're looking cheap. That's why I think Jordan Cameron is an actual Jordan Cameron. If he finds big money on the open market, that's a stupid team because there's just too many question marks with his head injuries. And so I think he's got to prove himself. He might be able to come a little cheaper. And if he can go there, I would. I would really like him a lot.
Jason Moore
And here's. Here's what will happen. Jordan Cameron will find that team willing to give him the money. They're going to sit down. He will have just finished signing his signature and he will sneeze and he will be concussed.
Andy Holloway
So the Raiders off to put him onto IR right away?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I. He has a long track record of concussions and big money on him would probably be foolish. So I would not expect a big money deal from him, especially with other guys available. Let's talk about Charles Clay.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I like Charles. He's in charge.
Andy Holloway
Charles Clay is an interesting player. He's a valuable player.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
He's a young player, 26, right? Yeah. I just wanted to keep it going.
Andy Holloway
He also lines up as a halfback.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Every once in a while because he's not that big, which is my problem with Charles Clay.
Andy Holloway
Totally mine too. Goal line problem.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah, exactly. He's six two.
Jason Moore
He's.
Andy Holloway
He's going to be shows up in Denver Yes.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
He shows up in Denver. I think I like him a lot more just because of the opportunities.
Andy Holloway
I actually was going to say the opposite, but. Well, I think that I like him in Denver compared if Julius is gone. But I don't like him the way I like Julius. He doesn't.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
No.
Andy Holloway
Top five guy.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Totally agree with that. I wouldn't. I wouldn't. I wouldn't draft him number three, the way I would Julius Thomas. But obviously I like Clay in Denver more than I like Clay anywhere else because of just opportunity and amount of passes.
Jason Moore
And I still like him. If he goes back to Miami. He. He had some injury stuff this year, and. But he. Towards the. The later half of the year, it seemed like that Tannehill Clay connection was finally getting back in.
Andy Holloway
60 receptions right around 60.
Jason Moore
That's not bad, though.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, no, I know. That's. That's a pretty okay year.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
That's what you're saying he had.
Andy Holloway
He had 58.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
What do you. What do you think he goes back to Miami. What do you think he has this year, playing 16?
Andy Holloway
70. 70. Yeah, 70.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I'm closer to 80.
Andy Holloway
Maybe like 70. 805, something like that.
Jason Moore
Which. That. I mean, you'll take those for a late tight end.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. So any other thoughts on Clay?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
No, I'm actually really excited to talk about the next guy.
Andy Holloway
About Mr. Germane Gresham.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I am. I think I'm the only person on the planet that's really excited.
Andy Holloway
Well, he's a free agent, and it's pretty. Pretty.
Jason Moore
Well, are you excited for Gresham? Are you excited for what happens if he leaves?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I am excited for Gresham. I believe that.
Jason Moore
What?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I know, right? That's why I said I'm the only.
Andy Holloway
Guy Water bet that we can already do around Jermaine Gresham being productive ever again.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Jermaine Gresham is a very good player. His.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that's true.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
His catch rate last year, where do you think he ranks in all the tight ends?
Jason Moore
Well, he. How many targets did he get?
Andy Holloway
About five, I think. Six?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
No, no, I think it was 78, actually.
Andy Holloway
That's a lot.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah, it was 70.
Andy Holloway
Clay. Actually, it's right around where Clay.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
So. So where do you think he ranked in catch rate?
Jason Moore
Well, first it was 78 because Tyler Ifert was out the entire year.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Okay. And catch rate is not affected, so.
Jason Moore
Okay. Well, it was just clarifying.
Andy Holloway
I'm guessing it was high compared to Toy Lolo.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah, I think mine was, too. No, it was number one. He was the best and double the, the, the second best guy. So my point here. And also he had excellent quarterbacks. Getting high.
Jason Moore
I was going to say he must be really good if he's got a high catch rate with Indy Dalton.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I believe he is. And I think that if Jermaine Gresham goes to, say, the Atlanta Falcons, that's a good place. All on where you're going to get him in the draft. And I think he's going to be a guy where I abandon the tight end in my draft and I just pick him up late and I am super happy with it.
Andy Holloway
Wow. I did not expect that take. I did not expect the Jermaine Gresham take.
Jason Moore
That's a good take because my take is I'm excited if Gresham leaves. Me too.
Andy Holloway
I'm high, excited for ifer. Yeah, me too.
Jason Moore
You take, you take a guy who.
Andy Holloway
Can'T throw the ball and you give him a tight end.
Jason Moore
Yeah. You take Gresham's numbers. I actually would increase them because I think IFRT is more of a pass catching tight end. Gresham is.
Andy Holloway
He's a great blocker.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I believe he's the, he grades out as the best run blocking tight end of the NFL. So if you have a guy like.
Andy Holloway
That, actually number 74.
Jason Moore
You can't have.
Andy Holloway
Roy, who's number one, can't have a.
Jason Moore
Guy like that running routes every single time you need him to help. Yeah, but you get iferd if you can, if his elbow is okay, because that was, that was not good. You remember the IFRT elbow?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I do not.
Jason Moore
Him dislocating his elbow sounds gross. You should look it up.
Andy Holloway
It sounds like he missed some games from that.
Jason Moore
If you want to vomit.
Andy Holloway
So Jermaine Gresham, number one on Jason's board. Tyler Ifert. No, I mean, that's good. You have to have those tight ends outside the top three, top four. If you have an inside piece of information. I mean, I, I like it. I don't know. I think the pass blocking or the, you know, the run blocking is going to be the issue there. Niles Paul, he kind of got thrust into relevance when Jordan Reed got hurt last year. I don't know what he is yet. About 500 yards, though. If he went back there, he'll probably put up the same numbers because Jordan Reed will be hanging out with Jordan Cameron.
Jason Moore
I was going to say the, the Bass bros. Jordan Cameron and Jordan Reed.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, that, that's. Those guys can't. Can't last.
Jason Moore
Yeah. That sucks.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
It does. It's really A shame, because if they're on the field 16 games, they're top five. I mean, they're quality pass catchers from a tight end. They put up numbers. When I watch either one of them in a game, which is very rare, but when I watch them, it's like they get every ball thrown their way and they're. And they're putting up yards and catches, and then I get excited and then they die.
Jason Moore
Jordan Cameron is actually a tremendous athlete. If you look up.
Andy Holloway
So Jordan Reed.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
And Jordan Reed gets. When he was in the game, I. I feel like nobody else in the game was targeted.
Andy Holloway
Were you gonna drop some Jordan Cameron stats on us?
Jason Moore
No, I can pull up the numbers. I just. I. I don't remember them verbatim off the top of my head. I just know they were. He was a combine warrior, which that's. It is what is. But I like to see high combine numbers.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. So if Niles Paul leaves Jordan Reed, I mean, regardless, Jordan Reed starts there. What's Jordan Reed this year? If you. I mean, are we supposed to. You can't take injury out of it with a guy like that, so.
Jason Moore
No, you can't. It.
Andy Holloway
He's a world of potential. Everyone will. It's like drafting Jordan Reed versus drafting Jermaine Gresham. It's such an opposite feeling like Jordan Reed is the.
Jason Moore
Like, he's exciting. You're happy about it.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I had delicious. I have no problem.
Andy Holloway
Leaves you sad later.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I have no problem grabbing Jordan Reed late because if I'm grabbing a tight end late, whether it's Gresham or Reed, I'm drafting to stream. I'm probably changing my tight end through the year. So. So what if he gets injured when he plays? He's going to be in. And if he's healthy week one, grab him. He's a great, great grab late.
Jason Moore
That's it. The. The problem with Reed is he's going to be a guy that you want to hold on to on your roster.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
You make bad decisions because you're like, he's so talented. I don't want to drop him. Someone else is going to grab him. Drop him.
Jason Moore
I can't believe this. This next guy is on the list. How much are we going to talk about Rob Howsler?
Andy Holloway
We're barely going to talk about him, but he's on the list because I actually think he fits the potential signing of the Patriots. I think New England could draft a guy like him as a move tight end.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
He could be hard to draft when he's already in the NFL.
Andy Holloway
He can't dice a draft.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah, but it's okay. I forgive you. The listeners don't, but I forgive you.
Jason Moore
Wow.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. He's gonna re enter the draft and he's an 8th round pick for.
Jason Moore
He'll be the. So you like him to go to New England to be a non murderous Aaron Hernandez.
Andy Holloway
Right. I just think he has that. He's not a pass. I mean he's not a blocker.
Jason Moore
No.
Andy Holloway
So he just runs routes all day long and probably gets on Belichick's nerves and gets cut in a couple weeks. He got on my nerves when he was in Phoenix.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I mean he's a bum. Maybe I'm, you know, scarred by his bumness in Arizona, but hey, he'll take.
Andy Holloway
A screen pass and go 8 to 10 yards.
Jason Moore
I think the. Where how we feel about him in his bumness is because his potential was really high.
Andy Holloway
4 4, right. He ran a 4, 4.
Jason Moore
It's something. It was really quick.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I think it's because we thought his potential was really high.
Andy Holloway
It's because he ran a four, four. That's all it was.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
It's just because he's fast.
Andy Holloway
He was just cuz he's fast.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he's fast and big. You don't often get both of those.
Andy Holloway
The opposite of Rob Hausler is probably the next guy.
Jason Moore
Oh, this is my man, Virgil Green. This is my man.
Andy Holloway
Elway loves him. Elway calls him the Rock. I thought an interesting stat was that they were one in three without him when he got injured last year actually.
Jason Moore
Is a very interesting eight.
Andy Holloway
And oh, before he went out. One and three when he was out.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I wonder how that lined up with Peyton Manning's legs. Just curious.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I don't, I don't think that was quite that. That same area, but. Oh, you mean him getting hurt.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah, I'm saying the games he missed. Was Peyton also injured? Because maybe Peyton's more important to the offense than Virgil.
Jason Moore
I don't, I don't think Peyton was hurt until.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
No, it was double digit weeks. Yeah. When was Virgil out?
Andy Holloway
Yeah, he was out right after weekend and he. Plus I mean he could have been the reason Peyton got hurt if he's a leading blocker. I don't like Virgil Green anymore as a potential sleeper.
Jason Moore
Oh, you're off that.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, because I think they will sign and bring another guy in and they'll use. I mean it'll be the Tammy situation where a guy, you know, you got a guy here, guy there and if Virgil Green has to be in the block. And they want the run game to protect Peyton. I just think you cap him out. I mean, he's just capped out on potential. He's not. I mean, maybe he's a guy who gets like six touchdowns because they, you know, decide to run him in the red zone. I don't know. What are your thoughts?
Jason Moore
I still like him as a sleeper, but he's. He's one of those. The. The sleepers where things have to fall into place before I get.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Really excited about it.
Andy Holloway
Let me give a piece of advice. Another thing to watch out for here. Julius Thomas. See a cup Before Julius broke out, he was my preseason sleeper. Because I watched the preseason and you saw how Denver used their tight ends then. So I would watch for the same thing with Virgil Green. If you watch the preseason and all of a sudden he's running routes, maybe change your opinion.
Jason Moore
Kind of like Travis Kelce last preseason.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Mmm. That's a really good point, Hitman.
Jason Moore
You two.
Andy Holloway
You two are ridiculous.
Jason Moore
Travis Kelsey is. She is my best friend, Zeus.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. As long as they don't throw any touchdowns to wide receivers again, which is probably likely.
Jason Moore
Yeah. What is the probability of that with Alex Smith checking it down? Very good is the answer to that question. I'll fill it in for you.
Andy Holloway
The bet's on the waterboard. Owen Daniels is turning 50 this year.
Jason Moore
Congratulations.
Andy Holloway
So sit and send your. Did you snore?
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Oh, yeah.
Jason Moore
Sorry. Just woke up.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I thought you said it.
Andy Holloway
You were willing to talk about Jermaine Gresham, but you were not talking about Owen Daniels.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah, I actually. You know what's funny is I really like Owen Daniels as a. As a.
Andy Holloway
Like, you guys are tight.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah, I just think, you know, we went out to dinner and it was.
Andy Holloway
Like, there's such a good time, good personality.
Jason Moore
I hope he paid.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah, yeah.
Andy Holloway
Dennis Pita probably not coming back.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Feel so bad for him.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he was. Man, I liked me some Dennis Pitta, but he was a quitter.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
His hips broke off.
Jason Moore
Say his. His body was acquitted.
Andy Holloway
That sucks. Him and Jermichael Finley can go on.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Least your Michael Finley took like a $10 million insurance policy out on himself.
Jason Moore
You play the game, Jordan.
Andy Holloway
Every player should have that.
Jason Moore
Well, what. What do you think the premium is on that? It's got to be outrageous.
Andy Holloway
No, it's for career ending injury, though. I mean, it's not just like.
Jason Moore
But it's a ten million dollar payout.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, but you got to break your neck.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
So Jordan Cameron, probably pretty high.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Jordan Cameron's not going to get that kind of a deal, they're going to know what his tricks are.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Premium is going to be 9 million.
Andy Holloway
Is it football season yet?
Jason Moore
I believe it was, Dave. Richard tweeted out. We have 27 more Sundays.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
And the answer, actually, Andy, is yes.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Because it is always football season.
Andy Holloway
That's true. We're in March.
Jason Moore
It is franchise day. That means free agency is coming up with haste.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Eight more days.
Andy Holloway
I cannot wait.
Jason Moore
Is it eight more?
Andy Holloway
I thought it's gotta be longer than that.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
March 10th. March 10th opens up something.
Jason Moore
We need this, the. We need the fact checking team on this right now.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Fact checkers.
Andy Holloway
Fact checkers.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
That's how we order our fact checking team. His name is Alfred and he's in the other room. So I just say fact checkers and.
Andy Holloway
Then you hear him.
Jason Moore
He's on a typewriter.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
What do you got, Andy?
Andy Holloway
I'm slow.
Jason Moore
Is there. Okay.
Andy Holloway
My computer wasn't loading here. I would like to, to know March 2nd is the franchise player, which is today. So the 7th through the 10th is the situation. So. Yeah. March 10th.
Jason Moore
Oh, it's the 7th. The. The authorized tampering period.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Oh, wait. Yeah. March 10th. Yeah.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
We're so close.
Andy Holloway
That is awesome.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that's next week, man.
Andy Holloway
Adrian Peterson can sign with Arizona then, and then DeMarco Murray can sign with Arizona.
Jason Moore
That Peterson situation, we didn't even talk about that. About how he won his court case. And then the NFL had to flex their muscles and say no.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
So gross.
Jason Moore
Yeah, you. He. It really.
Andy Holloway
Players are just.
Jason Moore
It really hurts Peterson if he's. If he can't be cut or traded before free agency starts. He could be really hosed, which is.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Which is why I think DeMarco Murray's back in Dallas.
Andy Holloway
Hosed. Not so much monetarily.
Jason Moore
Right.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
No, he's gonna get more money because he's gonna stay with the Vikings, which.
Jason Moore
I just, I want to re. Emphasize our. Or at least my position on this of people thinking. Because they're the, the networks are saying all the Vikings have all the power, kind of. I actually put more power in Adrian Peterson's court of the Viking. The Vikings have the power to say, we're going to pay you $13 million to play football this year. If they don't want to pay him $13 million, the power is completely shifted to Adrian Peterson.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I don't think they have a problem paying him that. They've got the cap space. They, They've got the ability to pay him that just fine. And I don't think that that's So I really do think they have the power because I don't think they mind paying him that much. I mean, of course they'd rather pay him 8. You know, math. But I don't think it's as far.
Jason Moore
As improving the team where Minnesota is on the rise. They are not. They're not there yet. To the point where Adrian Peterson puts them over the. The hump. But so that money is better used for that team elsewhere.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
I think if they look at having, say, an extra 5 million, if they were to pay him, you know, 8 instead of 13, I think if they look at their team and see what they could get for that, it's probably not. Not that big a difference.
Jason Moore
I think it is. 5 million. You can get. You can get a great player for 5 million.
Andy Holloway
You're talking Jermaine Gresham.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Yeah. Okay, so you're right. You're right, Mike. They would go over the top. Got it. But then you would with Jermaine Gresham.
Jason Moore
Yeah, they. Then you'd be replacing superstar Kyle Rudolph.
Andy Holloway
He hangs out with podcast.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Dropped my heart out of my body last year.
Andy Holloway
I told you to draft him.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I believe we.
Andy Holloway
But I didn't draft him. Which should have been the clue.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
We.
Jason Moore
We sat and watched you take Kyle Rudolph.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Steal him from you.
Jason Moore
Steal him from me. And then I was. I had to resort to drafting Greg Olson, who was awesome.
Andy Holloway
Man, that was such a value pick.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
You were so upset at my Kyle Rudolph pick.
Jason Moore
I actually was.
Andy Holloway
I don't. All right, let's wrap up the show. Remember, you can check us out at our brand new website, the fantasy footballers.com youm can send us an email at mail at the fantasy footballers.com any parting sending those questions.
Jason Moore
We're about to start talking keepers.
Andy Holloway
That's right.
Jason Moore
So get your questions in.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, you got a tough decision to make and you got to make it, you know, in the next little bit.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Also, we do have a. Somebody did Photoshop a tattoo.
Jason Moore
Oh, yeah.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Jeremy Hill on your chest. Talk about our redraft.
Andy Holloway
We need to post that on Jeremy G. I did.
Jason Moore
Oh, it's on Facebook.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Let's get on. I will say this, the one disappointment I have is he actually toned down my physique in that picture. In real life, I'm a little bit more shredded than that.
Andy Holloway
You're in the league, Jeremy.
Mike the Fantasy Hitman
Jeremy G. You're in the league.
Jason Moore
By shredded, I of course mean softer and rounder.
Andy Holloway
Right? Yeah, we know. All right, that's it for the fantasy footballers. We'll catch you up next week, and then we're gonna go to two shows. You know, when we feel like it. See you later.
Jason Moore
Bye.

They highlight features such as articles, podcasts, videos, and a free fantasy football updates mailing list designed to keep fans informed and engaged.
Le'Veon Bell's Suspension and ADP Impact
A significant portion of the episode ([02:29]–[05:54]) is dedicated to discussing Le'Veon Bell's recent suspension. Originally the top-ranked player by Average Draft Position (ADP), Bell's potential suspension due to substance abuse violations has caused uncertainty among fantasy managers.
Franchise News: Demaryius Thomas and Des Bryant
On Franchise Day ([05:31]–[07:00]), the hosts anticipate the tagging of Demaryius Thomas and Des Bryant by their respective teams. Moore confirms that Thomas is definitely being tagged, while Bryant’s tagging is nearly certain, pending the release of related videos. The discussion touches on the implications for their draft positions and future performance in fantasy leagues.
DeMarco Murray’s Free Agency
The conversation shifts to DeMarco Murray’s free agency status ([07:11]–[10:47]). The hosts debate whether Murray will return to the Dallas Cowboys or seek a new team, considering his injury history and financial demands.
Quarterback Free Agency: Josh McCown and Mark Sanchez
The hosts delve into quarterback movements, focusing on Josh McCown joining the Cleveland Browns ([12:17]–[21:47]).
Free Agent Tight Ends: Julius Thomas and Travis Kelce
A substantial segment ([25:17]–[35:45]) is dedicated to free agent tight ends, with a focus on Julius Thomas and Travis Kelce.
Julius Thomas: The hosts analyze Thomas’s future, debating whether he will stay with Peyton Manning in Denver or move to another team like the Jacksonville Jaguars. They consider his productivity reliant on Manning and the offensive opportunities available.
Travis Kelce: The hosts express high expectations for Kelce, placing him firmly in the top three tight ends for the upcoming season.
Andy Holloway confidently bets on Kelce being a top-three tight end, “Top three” ([30:36]).
Jason Moore concurs, adding, “I think he's a top three” ([30:22]).
Jermaine Gresham: Gresham is discussed as a reliable option, with high catch rates and solid blocking abilities making him a desirable late-round pick.
Charles Clay and Virgil Green are also examined for their potential contributions, though concerns about blocking and injury risks are noted.
Adrian Peterson’s Free Agency and Minnesota Vikings’ Decisions
The episode touches on Adrian Peterson’s controversial free agency situation with the Minnesota Vikings ([48:18]–[50:11]).
Mike the Fantasy Hitman argues that the Vikings have the upper hand in contract negotiations due to their financial position: “They have the ability to pay him just fine” ([49:27]).
Jason Moore counters by suggesting that an extra $5 million could significantly enhance the team’s roster: “You can get a great player for 5 million” ([50:02]).
Light-Hearted Banter and Closing Remarks
In the final minutes, the hosts engage in playful banter about waterboarding bets and tease future topics like keeper drafts and redraft strategies ([50:28]–[52:07]). They wrap up by encouraging listeners to visit their new website for more resources and to submit questions for upcoming shows.
