I wanted to start the show with a personal story from us from our league. I like to hear when people have unique things going on with their league.

So I wanted to share with ours. We have just inducted a new way to draft for our league where the player who comes in dead last for the season before the season, you then you've heard us talk about water bets before and this is kind of an ultimate water bet where the. The loser. And we do our drafts in person.

The vast majority of our league is in. In person. The loser.

We do. The loser will be watered by every single other team. And then they draft in those. In those wet clothes.

So we went into Monday Night Football and the second to last place team had Percy Harvin and needed six and a half points.

Amazing just watching this slow, total creepy. Closer and closer to the threshold to see if he could, if, if, if he could pull it off or who. We didn't know who was gonna be wet. This, the, the situation that it even came up was insane because the person who was in last was behind so far. Yeah, it seemed insurmountable. The point lead.

In the end, Percy Harvin could not get it done.

Percy did not get it done and he avoid. So he avoided water. The second to last place guy got water. I told Troy's the guy who didn't get watered, who just barely got saved by Percy Harvin stinking. I told him I was really surprised when I saw him that he wasn't wearing a Geno Smith jersey because Geno Smith is to blame for that Percy Harvin performance because he had like a swing pass and like a corner route that were both wide open for a touchdown.

It was very fun and I definitely encouraged commissioners and league owners and leagues out there to start your own traditions. It's super fun.

We've kind of added something every Year I feel like we have. We didn't used to have a draft announcer last year. You showed up with a banner for your team. I think we try to ramp it up every single year, but, you know, it makes it fun.

The group of us, we had a fantastic night watching an awful Monday night matchup of the Dolphins versus Magic fantasy football. We had no reason to watch that game. No one besides Dolphin fans and Jet fans had a reason to watch that game. But we scraped one up out of the dirt.

Let's run through these. You probably know about most of them if you're setting your lineup already.

So Tory Smith has a knee. He did not practice today.

Andre Ellington has a hip pointer injury which I'm leaning towards us being hometown guys. I'm leaning towards thinking he's not going this weekend.

But it's officially a game time decision.

Rashad Jennings has an ankle injury which some were calling minor. He missed a couple of series in the game. However, Rashad Jennings did not practice today and the team, the Giants signed Chris Oingo. Boingo.

So it's, it's never a good sign when they, when they pick up an extra position of the injured play.

You're gonna have to watch that closely because a lot of teams are going to be accounting on at this point. We're talking to teams in the playoffs. So first round, most, most leagues you're in the playoffs now and so most leagues are probably got guys that are counting on him. Hopefully you have Andre Williams. If not, you're gonna have to find another option. You can swap in there really quickly. Justin Hunter and Miles Austin both ended up in the hospital.

That hit. Justin Hunter hit was rough.

Yeah. He has a lacerated spleen and he is done for the year.

Now isn't that worth what that happened to Chris Sims? Right. Am I remembering that right? The quarterback.

Zach Mettenberger injured his AC joint notes his throwing AC joint which makes it even a more important thing to follow. He's. Mettenberg's kind of gotten some, some shine on him as a. Is a streamer option. But the people are saying he, they think he's going to play, but yeah, you probably.

I'm not trusting options. DeSean Jackson pulled a. DeSean Jackson, which is pretty much. He went down with a. What's being termed a fibula contusion, a bruised leg and he Ride bruise. Yeah. He writhed on the ground and he was hurting and screaming and then he went and caught a touchdown pass on like the third play from that.

But then he banged it again and he went out and he did not practice today either. The news is that surprised. They're saying he won't practice today and. But he might play. So that situation sounds like what desean.

Jackson would want to do every week. It's just like a.

Aaron Dobson. Apparently, if people are still using Dobson hamstring Sammy Watkins dealing with a hip and Alshon Jeffrey.

All right. Well, quite a few guys stepped up last week. Colt McCoy came out and validated every Jon Gruden instinct.

Yeah. Jay Gruden instinct that put him in the game. So he went out and threw for 392 and three touchdowns. Why do you have St. Louis next to him? Oh, that's who he plays next week. Okay. I was like, they did not play St. Louis last week. So he's a guy that came out and looked pretty good. Now the concern is desean Jackson is going to be gone, but Jordan Reed being back was a big help to Colt McCoy. He had nine catches for something like 89 yards. I think.

I think it was over Honda.

It was epic. I guess Fitzpatrick went to Harvard, so yeah, you would assume that apple didn't fall far from the tree.

But still, man, if that was my kid, I'd be doing that every press conference. I wouldn't even talk. My kid's smarter than your kid.

Sean Hill also had a big game. Well, I guess, sort of. He had 183 and two touchdowns. He's playing Washington next week.

I think out of these three guys, nobody's really starting there except for Fitzpatrick. Could be a consideration now for some people. Yeah, but I mean, if you're in the playoffs, you have a quarterback. No, that's what I kind of maybe, but if not, I mean, I guess you could be. Okay, here's a couple questions for you. Fitzpatrick or Sanchez this week. Patrick's facing Jacksonville. Sanchez is facing the Seahawks.

If you're that, I think you still roll with Sanchez because I, I believe his floor is higher than the Fitzpatrick floor.

Fitzpatrick or Dalton? They're facing Pittsburgh at home.

Dalton. I don't like to trust him.

Look good and he does have Andre and Hopkins healthy and Foster healthy. So something to consider, I think Fitzpatrick, you would say, is far and away the best start. Of those three guys though, right?

Of the three we listed, yeah. Just because of matchup.

Couple wide receivers worth noting. This first one is he should be great the rest of the year. Kendall Wright, 7 for 132 and a touchdown. And now Justin Hunter is out.

So funny. Until he doesn't come out of the hospital. But yeah, Kendall Wright had a big game and we know they like to sling the rock around because they can't run the ball. So he's gonna be a PPR machine. Kenneth Wright normally catches a lot of passes. He doesn't normally score. He's going up against the Giants next.

Week, so the Giants defense is highly questionable. The next guy, Kenny Stills, has another big game. Five for 162. At the touchdown, he's playing.

Because I do. I started the season doing writing ups for the Saints. I was full force on the Kenny Stills bandwagon. Just humongous. I was trying. I was writing because Brandon Cooks, his ADP was just skyrocketing out of control, and I kept writing. People, you know, Kenny Stills is gonna be this guy. And Kenny Stills got hurt if. I don't know if you recall this.

No, I do. He was kind, and he was trying to come back for.

In training camp, and then he ended up losing his spot to Cooks. So this is a kind of a late round.

He's not really replacing Cooks, though.

But I'm saying he. Cooks was.

Had the spot, the starting spot.

Where I thought Stills has been out there.

He has, but he hasn't. He wasn't getting the snaps until Cooks.

No, that can't be right.

Should check that somewhere else when I go through one of these next ones. Because he. Yeah, he was 51% the week before. I don't. That can't be right.

No. Especially when you. Jimmy Graham played like 55% of snaps.

Next. Next three guys that we'll go through real quick here on the off or on the stud muffin side. This is a position that honestly we just talked about. Jimmy Graham, one of the best, even put up a goose egg. So people are scratching their head at this position at tight end. I know you've been bouncing around which guys to start. Keith Miller, Jordan Reed and Kobe Fleen are all had big weeks. Miller was 8 for 82. Reed, like we talked about early, was 9 for 123 and Fleener was 4 for 127 and two touchdowns. And he had a couple big drops.

There's chinks in the armor for all of these guys.

Keith Miller isn't a traditionally an up and down guy, period. He's needed sometimes, sometimes he's not. He sometimes he blocks a lot for Le'Veon Bell.

Jordan Reed, he went out and had a good game.

I think he's probably the best of these three moving forward.

Yeah, Colton, I saw Colt McCoy's numbers of what percentage does he throw to a tight end and it is drastically higher than the league average.

Yeah, I believe that. And then Kobe Fleener, he's going to get Dwayne Allen back. And honestly, he's up and down too. I mean, he is. I. I like Fleener if Allen was out for the rest of the year, but it's not the case.

So I would agree that Reed is probably the best option of these three. Even though although his matchup is rough.

Some every week starters that struggled and just give us. Give our two cents about if you should be worried or not. We're going to start with Tony Romo on Thanksgiving. Disaster. 199, no touchdowns, two picks.

And it was a very favorable matchup at home against the Eagles. It was a division game, so sometimes those can get wonky. But the Eagles have been allowing just tons of yardage through the air and they. The Dallas was shut down. The. The run game was actually held in check pretty decently too. So moving forward, do you have Romo concern? We're in first round of playoffs. Romo has Chicago.

Are you gonna. Are you still starting him with confidence?

I am still starting him if he's the guy that got me there. The confidence piece is. I'm wavering on it a little bit. And the reason being is they're losing games and I think they need to get back to what they are good at, which is letting him manage the game a little bit and let DeMarco Murray run on that Chicago defense. Let Julius Randle, let Lance Dunbar get the rock. When I wrote this yesterday, because I wasn't. I was very on the fence with all of them. With. I was actually leaning Crowell, especially with the. The Terrence west tirade that came out of the Cleveland camp. He just destroyed him. And they were talking about west might not get snaps this week, blah, blah, blah, blah. So I was. I was leaning towards the crow, but now, now I think I got to take him out. I can't trust him. And between Jeremy Hill and Geo, just as of today, I'm leaning Jeremy Hill.

I should have stashed the Lions because the Lions defense has got a good schedule, has a fantastic playoff schedule. So it's a defensive question. Minnesota vs. The jets at home or San Francisco vs. The Raiders on the road? That is a tough question.

I'll tell you. I'm gonna go with Minnesota's D and I'm gonna give you two words as to why. Latavius Murray. Guess what the record is for the Raiders when he has 90 yard touchdowns?

I imagine undefeated.

Undefeated. No, I am going to lean on. Here's. This is a game of. There's two things. One, Minnesota's at home. Two. Even though Oakland looked anemic last week, getting Latavius Murray back, being at home where they won, they beat the Chiefs two weeks ago. And we've also seen in the beginning of the year Derek Carr can sling it a little bit if he gets on a roll. I'm not expecting the 49ers as a bad play. They're a good play.

Now see, I will actually lean San Francisco because Derek Carr will sling it. I'm not concerned at all about Latavius Murray. We have a very drastic differing opinion on Latavius Murray this week. But I think the Raider as we saw the jets, they're not even going to throw the ball. We assume that they have to do that. They would do something similar move against Minnesota. So the, the chance for turnovers is higher for the Raiders. Chance for sacks is higher for the Raiders. So I would go San Francisco.
