To the Fantasy Footballers podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway and Mike Wright.
Mike Wright
Oh, we are back. The Fantasy Footballers. We're a little late, but it's all right. Better late than never.
Jason Moore
Yeah, been a bit busy week.
Unknown
Very busy week.
Mike Wright
I am Mike the fantasy Hitman, joined with my co host Andy. Insert cool nickname here.
Unknown
Call me Sad this week. My nickname should change week to week. That's what I should do.
Mike Wright
Why is that?
Unknown
Call me Sad, man. Well, I think this is. This is the really true reason is why we're recording here a day later is because we couldn't get ourselves out of bed after the Cardinals performance.
Mike Wright
Oh, yes.
Unknown
On Sunday, which, oh, it's really difficult to swallow after the start they had and to lose so many good players.
Mike Wright
Yeah, there is a. I can't even.
Unknown
List them anymore because there's a car really been.
Mike Wright
We are gonna start 9 and 1 and not make the playoffs. And it is. I have to imagine that's gotta be his. A historic collapse. Oh, there we go.
Unknown
Yeah, I know. This is how I feel right now, buddy. Tragedy.
Mike Wright
Oh, man, he's.
Unknown
But in other news, my fantasy team's.
Mike Wright
Playing well, so yeah, I'm doing all right. We, Andy and I write for fantasy pros and so that's our credentials. I don't know what I was gonna say.
Unknown
I think you were gonna tell them that they can find us on the Fantasy footballers dot com.
Mike Wright
Ah, yes.
Unknown
And you can go listen to the show there and check us out on Stitcher. Leave us a five star review if you like what you hear. We love seeing those reviews. Send in your fantasy football questions to the fantasy footballersmail.com and we will be happy to answer them on the show.
Mike Wright
Yes, we will.
Unknown
And properly. We'll answer them properly and you will win your league and everyone will love you. Your wife will love you, your kids will love you.
Mike Wright
Maybe.
Unknown
Yeah, it's possible. And you'll have the validation and hope that you never had before.
Mike Wright
I wanted to start the show with a personal story from us from our league. I like to hear when people have unique things going on with their league.
Unknown
Special leagues and traditions and things like that.
Mike Wright
So I wanted to share with ours. We have just inducted a new way to draft for our league where the player who comes in dead last for the season before the season, you then you've heard us talk about water bets before and this is kind of an ultimate water bet where the. The loser. And we do our drafts in person.
Unknown
The.
Mike Wright
The vast majority of our league is in. In person. The loser.
Unknown
We even have an announcer will be.
Mike Wright
We do. The loser will be watered by every single other team. And then they draft in those. In those wet clothes.
Unknown
Yes.
Mike Wright
So those who can't do math, that's 11 other waters.
Unknown
Yeah. You get a bunch of water poured on you by every owner.
Mike Wright
You're essentially you're drafting just sopping doused.
Unknown
Out of the pool, sopping wet.
Mike Wright
And then we're gonna get some fans and blow. Blow it.
Unknown
Right, right.
Mike Wright
We need to add that into the, into the writer.
Unknown
Yes. It's called the pneumonia punishment.
Mike Wright
But so what happened was the, the team who was in last place, I would say this is our last.
Unknown
We should say this is our last regular season week. This week that just passed. We're now in the playoffs.
Mike Wright
So the team that was in last place, I have to imagine it was like two thirds of the season.
Unknown
Right.
Mike Wright
Almost the entire time.
Unknown
Just a set up to be the man.
Mike Wright
A perennial loser this season comes out, has a huge final week of the regular season, gets a much needed win and gets a huge point point boost over the team who's in second to last place. So we went into Monday Night Football and the second to last place team had Percy Harvin and needed six and a half points.
Unknown
That's it.
Mike Wright
In our half point ppr.
Unknown
That's it.
Mike Wright
And we were all live blogging this on Facebook.
Unknown
Yeah, it took over and it was.
Mike Wright
Amazing just watching this slow, total creepy. Closer and closer to the threshold to see if he could, if, if, if he could pull it off or who. We didn't know who was gonna be wet. This, the, the situation that it even came up was insane because the person who was in last was behind so far. Yeah, it seemed insurmountable. The point lead.
Unknown
But Percy.
Mike Wright
In the end, Percy Harvin could not get it done.
Unknown
Percy did not get it done and he avoid. So he avoided water. The second to last place guy got water. I told Troy's the guy who didn't get watered, who just barely got saved by Percy Harvin stinking. I told him I was really surprised when I saw him that he wasn't wearing a Geno Smith jersey because Geno Smith is to blame for that Percy Harvin performance because he had like a swing pass and like a corner route that were both wide open for a touchdown.
Mike Wright
Yeah, Smith just missed him.
Unknown
It was very fun and I definitely encouraged commissioners and league owners and leagues out there to start your own traditions. It's super fun.
Mike Wright
Punishments you got to have without.
Unknown
We've kind of added something every Year I feel like we have. We didn't used to have a draft announcer last year. You showed up with a banner for your team. I think we try to ramp it up every single year, but, you know, it makes it fun.
Mike Wright
The group of us, we had a fantastic night watching an awful Monday night matchup of the Dolphins versus Magic fantasy football. We had no reason to watch that game. No one besides Dolphin fans and Jet fans had a reason to watch that game. But we scraped one up out of the dirt.
Unknown
Yeah, it was super entertaining.
Mike Wright
And now our friend Josh is going to be very wet and very sad.
Unknown
Yes, enjoy that, buddy.
Andy Holloway
News and notes from around the league.
Unknown
All right, let's.
Mike Wright
So let's, let's talk some injuries real quick.
Unknown
Let's run through these. You probably know about most of them if you're setting your lineup already.
Mike Wright
So Tory Smith has a knee. He did not practice today.
Unknown
Andre Ellington has a hip pointer injury which I'm leaning towards us being hometown guys. I'm leaning towards thinking he's not going this weekend.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I don't think.
Unknown
But it's officially a game time decision.
Mike Wright
Rashad Jennings has an ankle injury which some were calling minor. He missed a couple of series in the game. However, Rashad Jennings did not practice today and the team, the Giants signed Chris Oingo. Boingo.
Unknown
Right. That's his official name.
Mike Wright
So it's, it's never a good sign when they, when they pick up an extra position of the injured play.
Unknown
You're gonna have to watch that closely because a lot of teams are going to be accounting on at this point. We're talking to teams in the playoffs. So first round, most, most leagues you're in the playoffs now and so most leagues are probably got guys that are counting on him. Hopefully you have Andre Williams. If not, you're gonna have to find another option. You can swap in there really quickly. Justin Hunter and Miles Austin both ended up in the hospital.
Mike Wright
That hit. Justin Hunter hit was rough.
Unknown
Yeah. He has a lacerated spleen and he is done for the year.
Mike Wright
Now isn't that worth what that happened to Chris Sims? Right. Am I remembering that right? The quarterback.
Unknown
The quarterback. No, he actually completely ruptured his spleen.
Mike Wright
Oh yeah. Okay.
Unknown
Yeah. But essentially, yes, the same, same type of injury.
Mike Wright
Zach Mettenberger injured his AC joint notes his throwing AC joint which makes it even a more important thing to follow. He's. Mettenberg's kind of gotten some, some shine on him as a. Is a streamer option. But the people are saying he, they think he's going to play, but yeah, you probably.
Unknown
I'm not trusting options. DeSean Jackson pulled a. DeSean Jackson, which is pretty much. He went down with a. What's being termed a fibula contusion, a bruised leg and he Ride bruise. Yeah. He writhed on the ground and he was hurting and screaming and then he went and caught a touchdown pass on like the third play from that.
Mike Wright
But then he banged it again and he went out and he did not practice today either. The news is that surprised. They're saying he won't practice today and. But he might play. So that situation sounds like what desean.
Unknown
Jackson would want to do every week. It's just like a.
Mike Wright
Aaron Dobson. Apparently, if people are still using Dobson hamstring Sammy Watkins dealing with a hip and Alshon Jeffrey.
Unknown
That's one to watch.
Mike Wright
Yeah. He missed practice today with a hamstring and he plays Thursday.
Unknown
Yeah, that's right. That's right.
Mike Wright
So I believe he's. I think he's questionable.
Unknown
So that's concerning. You'll have to make a decision on him really quickly here. So anybody else of note? We want to.
Mike Wright
That's all I have in the notes. I can't remember seeing anything else today.
Unknown
Let's go through some of the studs from last week.
Andy Holloway
This week's fantasy stud muffins.
Unknown
All right. Well, quite a few guys stepped up last week. Colt McCoy came out and validated every Jon Gruden instinct.
Mike Wright
So crazy.
Unknown
I'm sorry I said Jon Gruden, didn't I?
Mike Wright
Whatever.
Unknown
Yeah. Jay Gruden instinct that put him in the game. So he went out and threw for 392 and three touchdowns. Why do you have St. Louis next to him? Oh, that's who he plays next week. Okay. I was like, they did not play St. Louis last week. So he's a guy that came out and looked pretty good. Now the concern is desean Jackson is going to be gone, but Jordan Reed being back was a big help to Colt McCoy. He had nine catches for something like 89 yards. I think.
Mike Wright
I think it was over Honda.
Unknown
It might have been so.
Mike Wright
But Jordan reed is.
Unknown
Yeah, nine. Nine for 123.
Mike Wright
With all that use, you know he's pulling a hamstring.
Unknown
Yeah.
Mike Wright
It's gonna. By the second quarter, we glossed over the ultimate.
Unknown
Yes.
Mike Wright
Oh, Fitz Magic.
Unknown
You know, unbelievable.
Mike Wright
6.
Unknown
You saw this coming, right? He was your start of the week.
Mike Wright
Not this week. He was. He has been in my start of the week, though.
Unknown
358 yards and six touchdowns for Ryan Fitzmagic Fitzpatrick. So you see that video of him and his kid? Oh, yeah, that was pretty cool.
Mike Wright
That was amazing.
Unknown
Yeah.
Mike Wright
And then there was six years old, seven years old, and then there was. I saw some sports media guys like, why would you exploit your kid like that? Oh my God, do you have kid? If that was my kid, I'd be like, boom.
Unknown
Yeah, he, his kid answered some high level math.
Mike Wright
90 something times 90 something and he figured it out in about five.
Unknown
It was epic. I guess Fitzpatrick went to Harvard, so yeah, you would assume that apple didn't fall far from the tree.
Mike Wright
But still, man, if that was my kid, I'd be doing that every press conference. I wouldn't even talk. My kid's smarter than your kid.
Unknown
Yeah, exactly.
Mike Wright
Sean Hill also had a big game. Well, I guess, sort of. He had 183 and two touchdowns. He's playing Washington next week.
Unknown
I think out of these three guys, nobody's really starting there except for Fitzpatrick. Could be a consideration now for some people. Yeah, but I mean, if you're in the playoffs, you have a quarterback. No, that's what I kind of maybe, but if not, I mean, I guess you could be. Okay, here's a couple questions for you. Fitzpatrick or Sanchez this week. Patrick's facing Jacksonville. Sanchez is facing the Seahawks.
Mike Wright
If you're that, I think you still roll with Sanchez because I, I believe his floor is higher than the Fitzpatrick floor.
Unknown
Fitzpatrick or Dalton? They're facing Pittsburgh at home.
Mike Wright
Dalton. I don't like to trust him.
Unknown
It's hard to chase six touchdowns.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it is hard, but he did.
Unknown
Look good and he does have Andre and Hopkins healthy and Foster healthy. So something to consider, I think Fitzpatrick, you would say, is far and away the best start. Of those three guys though, right?
Mike Wright
Of the three we listed, yeah. Just because of matchup.
Unknown
Couple wide receivers worth noting. This first one is he should be great the rest of the year. Kendall Wright, 7 for 132 and a touchdown. And now Justin Hunter is out.
Mike Wright
He's lacerated.
Unknown
He's lacerated.
Mike Wright
Awful word.
Unknown
So funny. Until he doesn't come out of the hospital. But yeah, Kendall Wright had a big game and we know they like to sling the rock around because they can't run the ball. So he's gonna be a PPR machine. Kenneth Wright normally catches a lot of passes. He doesn't normally score. He's going up against the Giants next.
Mike Wright
Week, so the Giants defense is highly questionable. The next guy, Kenny Stills, has another big game. Five for 162. At the touchdown, he's playing.
Jason Moore
Will he keep doing this?
Mike Wright
Yes. Now, if you followed my writing, because I've been doing.
Unknown
Who doesn't? Well, it's almost no fair point, right, everybody?
Mike Wright
Because I do. I started the season doing writing ups for the Saints. I was full force on the Kenny Stills bandwagon. Just humongous. I was trying. I was writing because Brandon Cooks, his ADP was just skyrocketing out of control, and I kept writing. People, you know, Kenny Stills is gonna be this guy. And Kenny Stills got hurt if. I don't know if you recall this.
Unknown
No, I do. He was kind, and he was trying to come back for.
Mike Wright
In training camp, and then he ended up losing his spot to Cooks. So this is a kind of a late round.
Unknown
He's not really replacing Cooks, though.
Mike Wright
But I'm saying he. Cooks was.
Unknown
Had the spot, the starting spot.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Unknown
Where I thought Stills has been out there.
Mike Wright
He has, but he hasn't. He wasn't getting the snaps until Cooks.
Unknown
Went down as many.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Unknown
Okay.
Mike Wright
And the targets. I don't know. I. So it's a late round. Toot my own horn actually was right.
Unknown
You tooting your horn. That's the first time ever.
Mike Wright
But I really. You got to do it, man. You got to point out when you're right.
Unknown
You mean like when Trey Mason, your start of the week, goes off for 900,000 yards and three touchdowns?
Mike Wright
Yeah, we'll get to that.
Unknown
Just making sure.
Mike Wright
But I like Kenny Stills moving forward. You'll probably hear more about him later.
Unknown
Yeah. Yeah. Wow. This cannot be right. Is it? I'm looking at snap count percentage for Kenny Stills over the course of the year. They said he only played in 25% of the snaps against Pittsburgh.
Jason Moore
Is that right?
Mike Wright
No, that can't be right.
Unknown
Should check that somewhere else when I go through one of these next ones. Because he. Yeah, he was 51% the week before. I don't. That can't be right.
Mike Wright
No. Especially when you. Jimmy Graham played like 55% of snaps.
Unknown
Yeah, that's.
Mike Wright
So who was playing?
Unknown
Well, I didn't know if maybe with the lead, they. You know, you're off the field quite a bit. I don't.
Mike Wright
Maybe.
Unknown
Strange. Yeah. All right.
Mike Wright
But if teams play Graham the way oh, my Steelers did, that's. That's why Stills was so open, because they.
Unknown
I don't think another team's going to do that.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Unknown
And even if they do not, throwing the ball at Jimmy Graham is ridiculous.
Mike Wright
Well, if you saw the coverage, why would you. The guy's wide open.
Unknown
He didn't need to because why would.
Mike Wright
You not throw to the wide open player?
Unknown
Next. Next three guys that we'll go through real quick here on the off or on the stud muffin side. This is a position that honestly we just talked about. Jimmy Graham, one of the best, even put up a goose egg. So people are scratching their head at this position at tight end. I know you've been bouncing around which guys to start. Keith Miller, Jordan Reed and Kobe Fleen are all had big weeks. Miller was 8 for 82. Reed, like we talked about early, was 9 for 123 and Fleener was 4 for 127 and two touchdowns. And he had a couple big drops.
Mike Wright
Right.
Unknown
There's chinks in the armor for all of these guys.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Unknown
Keith Miller isn't a traditionally an up and down guy, period. He's needed sometimes, sometimes he's not. He sometimes he blocks a lot for Le'Veon Bell.
Jason Moore
Jordan Reed, he went out and had a good game.
Unknown
I think he's probably the best of these three moving forward.
Mike Wright
Yeah, Colton, I saw Colt McCoy's numbers of what percentage does he throw to a tight end and it is drastically higher than the league average.
Unknown
Yeah, I believe that. And then Kobe Fleener, he's going to get Dwayne Allen back. And honestly, he's up and down too. I mean, he is. I. I like Fleener if Allen was out for the rest of the year, but it's not the case.
Mike Wright
So I would agree that Reed is probably the best option of these three. Even though although his matchup is rough.
Unknown
Yeah. So. All right, let's move it on.
Andy Holloway
Hooped in his big boy pants.
Mike Wright
All right, we're gonna talk about some.
Unknown
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Some every week starters that struggled and just give us. Give our two cents about if you should be worried or not. We're going to start with Tony Romo on Thanksgiving. Disaster. 199, no touchdowns, two picks.
Unknown
Not good, my friend.
Mike Wright
And it was a very favorable matchup at home against the Eagles. It was a division game, so sometimes those can get wonky. But the Eagles have been allowing just tons of yardage through the air and they. The Dallas was shut down. The. The run game was actually held in check pretty decently too. So moving forward, do you have Romo concern? We're in first round of playoffs. Romo has Chicago.
Unknown
Yes.
Mike Wright
Are you gonna. Are you still starting him with confidence?
Unknown
I am still starting him if he's the guy that got me there. The confidence piece is. I'm wavering on it a little bit. And the reason being is they're losing games and I think they need to get back to what they are good at, which is letting him manage the game a little bit and let DeMarco Murray run on that Chicago defense. Let Julius Randle, let Lance Dunbar get the rock. I don't have concern to the degree that I don't think he'll be productive, but I think his ceiling is going to be capped because they're going to have to get back to what they've done. Well, when they've won games.
Mike Wright
Right.
Unknown
They're in jeopardy of. I mean, what did they start? They were really hot, like 1, 6 and 2 and they. I think they've lost like, you know, three or four or something like that.
Mike Wright
So I would agree with everything you just said. I am in that predicament where I'm going into the playoffs and I have Romo and I was texting you after Thanksgiving because I was already kind of locked into the playoffs. But it's just. This is not what you want to see.
Unknown
I think that's really what it was. It was kind of like a bad omen.
Mike Wright
Right.
Unknown
You were like, some people will not start Romo because of that game.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Is it the omen or did he just get his worst game of the year out of the way?
Unknown
Right. Yeah.
Mike Wright
Chicago is a very favorable.
Unknown
I wish we could tell you for sure.
Mike Wright
For those wondering, yes, I'm still going to start Romo.
Unknown
There you go.
Mike Wright
And I'm a. I'm generally a streamer.
Unknown
The Chicago defense doesn't hurt.
Mike Wright
If I, if I see a good matchup with a, with a streamable option, I am not scared to take it. But this week I'm. I'm gonna stick with Romo.
Unknown
Sounds good. We had.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I just put him on the list because it was funny.
Unknown
Yeah. Peyton Manning. Yeah. Bench him.
Jason Moore
Bench him for your fantasy playoffs.
Unknown
I'd go with Mettenberger.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Unknown
No, Manning had just an off day. He didn't need to have a big.
Mike Wright
Day cuz CJ Anderson did everything. Goodness.
Jason Moore
Second straight game of the hundred and.
Unknown
Sixty plus yards for Anderson. We've been talking about the fact we're really fortunate because in our league, the guy who picked him up off of waivers, who's been blowing up with him, he just narrowly missed the playoffs. Everybody's. And Anderson, it's everybody's benefit. So who else you got on there?
Mike Wright
Matt Forte was. He ran the ball five times last week against Detroit for 6 yards. He did go 6 for 52 in the air, but no scores. It seemed that one seems completely game plan specific because they were playing the super stout Detroit run defense. I will say this, that no, the Bears are against Dallas. I'm not too worried about the Dallas run defense. They're okay if we're. If McLean's in the lineup. But he goes in and out, in and out. It's a concern that I think it's. Is it Week 15 that the Bears play the Lions again?
Unknown
I believe so, yeah. Because the Bears play. I think they play at New Orleans in the final week.
Mike Wright
So let's say you. If you're in the playoffs and you happen to make it to round two because you've been riding your stud Matt Forte, you still have to play him. But that is. That's gonna stink if they come out and they let Cutler just throw it a bajillion times again.
Unknown
Yeah. There's just no way you bench a guy like that.
Mike Wright
No.
Unknown
So you just have to live.
Mike Wright
You have to really hope that he gets an air touchdown.
Unknown
Mike Evans had a. His first kind of subpar game in a while.
Mike Wright
In a while. Yeah.
Unknown
But he was facing the stout Detroit defense.
Mike Wright
He plays Detroit this.
Unknown
Oh, okay. So who do. Oh, yeah. Last week was Cincinnati.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Unknown
That game that he couldn't get out of bounds on the last play.
Mike Wright
The Bucks should have won.
Unknown
Yeah. They did everything they could to lose that game. But Mike Evans. Did you see that clip of him basically just demolishing that teeny db?
Mike Wright
No, I didn't.
Unknown
Oh, there's this funny clip where he's. He's running downfield and the DB's trying to muscle him up. Basically just give him some contact at the line.
Mike Wright
Right.
Unknown
So the DB jumps in the air. It looks like a small child. And he jumps in the air to where he's off the ground and Evans hits him while he's in the air and just sends him flying down the field. It's pretty funny. I'll look it up.
Mike Wright
Lovey Smith, please get Mike Evans a quarterback because he is going to be a beast.
Unknown
Yeah.
Mike Wright
If you can get him some accurate.
Unknown
Passes and then just.
Mike Wright
It was funny.
Unknown
Yeah. We talked about Jimmy Graham too. He's not a guy you're sitting, obviously, but that was. There are people not in the playoffs because of Jimmy Gray, for sure. Luckily for me, he's in on my team, but I didn't need him this week. But had I needed him and he.
Mike Wright
Did that, that would.
Unknown
My Jimmy Graham bitterness goes.
Mike Wright
Yeah, that'd be infuriate.
Unknown
Starts flying up.
Jason Moore
So let's go ahead and see if we can help you out.
Unknown
This is playoffs, man.
Mike Wright
Playoff.
Jason Moore
How many leagues are you in that you are.
Unknown
Your mind is in. Okay.
Mike Wright
Or. Oh, that my mind is in two.
Unknown
Yeah, yeah, two big ones. Are you in the playoffs in both of them?
Mike Wright
No, I remember. Remember, I missed the playoffs because of my Disneyland disaster.
Unknown
That's right. That's right. And then I would have made the.
Mike Wright
Playoffs if I had not done that.
Unknown
That feels wonderful. And then you and I have been sn bit in our fantasy pros league where we lost by 0.22 two weeks ago, and then we lost this week to a 3.9team that put up the most points in the league. Yeah, we're probably gonna miss there. We'll see. But let's move it on.
Andy Holloway
Starts of the week.
Mike Wright
All right. We wrote these starts of the week yesterday, so I actually have to change my start of the week. I didn't review it.
Unknown
Yeah, you have Brian Hoyer.
Mike Wright
Because I was going to. I was all in on Johnny Football and Brian Hoyer.
Unknown
This is why we waited. We want.
Mike Wright
So here's another piece of news. So. Yeah.
Unknown
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Oh, let's go.
Unknown
Let's go backwards. Hey, I got at my defensive streamer. Start of the week is the Cowboys D, which is a really scary one, I think, for a lot of people to start. But here's why they're at Chicago. They're on Thursday Night Football, and Chicago's D gives up a ton of points to defenses. It may be a big risk, but if you're looking for a D, you don't have one stashed for week one. You might not have a lot of better options. So who's your defensive.
Mike Wright
I'm going with the Giants. The Titans are 25th in points allowed. I don't trust even if Met Burger plays. I mean, one good shot to. It's his throwing shoulder. One good shot, he's out again, and then who. Who's in? Jake Locker. Yeah, that would be delicious for any defense.
Unknown
No doubt.
Mike Wright
The Giants don't necessarily have the strongest D. They did lose to Jacksonville, however. They lost on the strength of. Jacksonville had two defensive scores.
Unknown
Yeah, Jacksonville didn't score much. I mean, they didn't move.
Mike Wright
So I like the Giants this week, and they should be widely available.
Unknown
Yeah, that's. That's a good pick at tight end. I'm gonna go with Kyle Rudolph. Like we said, the. The tight end picture is a sea of mediocrity right now.
Mike Wright
It's gross.
Unknown
But he seems to be finding his way a little bit. He's healthy. The jets can't defend the tight end worth anything, right. And Bridgewater's best friend is normally his tight end. He's an underneath game manager type of guy.
Jason Moore
So with Rudolph, what's his peak?
Unknown
Probably about, probably about five for 50 and two touchdowns or something like that where he gets, gets a couple saying couple goal line looks. So that's, that's his peak. I'm saying I wouldn't expect it, but I look for him to have a good week with a touchdown.
Mike Wright
I'm going with Jason Whitten. He. The Bears are 32nd which against they've.
Unknown
Been finally throwing to him again.
Mike Wright
And yeah, that's kind of the why I like him. He's been. Last week was terrible, but I think last week's kind of the anomaly. You have to, you have to throw that.
Unknown
The what now?
Mike Wright
Anomaly. Okay, I, I'm there but so I'm going back to Jason Whitten to have a. And like while going through these starts this week, they're the kind of stream type low level options were very difficult this week. I don't know if you had as hard a time as me, but I just, I had a very hard time finding good exploitable matchups for low level or waiver wire guys.
Unknown
Yeah, it's, it's tough too because we're trying to pick people that are on the fence and is being startable. Not guys that are guaranteed starts, but also guys that aren't irrelevant to us playoff teams. So at wide receiver, I'm going to go ahead and go with Pierre Garcon, which is. That's bold.
Mike Wright
What are you doing?
Jason Moore
It's bold, right?
Mike Wright
What do you do? Gonna pump the brakes on this one?
Unknown
I do. You're not a Pierre Garcon fan?
Mike Wright
No. Oh, I'm a huge Pierre Garcon fan. But I just, I don't know what happened but he's not getting it done.
Unknown
Well, this is, this is a risk, but I think you're gonna see a quick hitting offense for Colt. And not every ball can go to Jordan Reed. And if D. Jacks is out, Pierre Garcon is going to be involved in the screen game against St. Louis Defense and so he's my, my middling start of the week.
Mike Wright
I'm going with Kenny Stills because of the reasons I talked about earlier. He's been beasting the last couple weeks and it's a. I really, really liked him. He was one of my top sleeper picks going into the draft before all the injury stuff happened for sure. So it's Kind of. I just. I want to start him because I liked him so much earlier.
Unknown
Absolutely. My running back start of the week. Mine. By the way, I hit a home run on mine last week. Tre Mason.
Mike Wright
You did?
Unknown
Went insane and had a couple of those recently with Fleener going insane for me and then Mason. That was good to see. Not that it took a rocket scientist to say Oakland can't play defense, but.
Mike Wright
My start of the week that went off was the Rams defense.
Unknown
Yeah, that was a monster, that monster game. My running back is Chris Ivory. This week the jets figured out a new offensive philosophy. It's called not letting Geno Smith throw the football at all.
Mike Wright
Why. Why play Geno Smith?
Unknown
I know if you're. If you're not or. I don't understand.
Mike Wright
It's the. The call for Geno Smith, as I understand it, came from up above, was Rex. I believe what I'd heard was he wanted Vic to keep playing. So in Rex, Ryan knows he's going to be fired. So this could be a double finger blast. Up yours.
Unknown
Fine option or not. Yeah, we'll run the ball almost every play. They had sequences of like 17, 18 straight runs in that game. So. But. So for that reason, the jets have a new never passed plan. And Minnesota is actually surprisingly beatable on the ground. Seen guys run for big yards against them and they're 26 against the run. So I think Ivory gets a touchdown in this game and I think he. He gets used aplenty.
Mike Wright
That's fair. I'm going with Jonathan Stewart now.
Jason Moore
What's his nickname again?
Mike Wright
He is. What is he?
Jason Moore
I forget. What is it?
Unknown
It's not just Jason, right?
Mike Wright
No, we call him J Stu. He has an act. It always reminds me of Adrian Peterson's. Reminds me of all day. Well, the Big show or something.
Unknown
Oh, the Daily Show Daily. There you go. That's what I was thinking about. Yeah.
Mike Wright
Now this is a. There's an asterisk on this that D'Angelo Williams has a fractured fracture in his middle.
Unknown
He did not practice today.
Mike Wright
And Jonathan Stewart has actually had juice this year.
Unknown
4.3 a carry.
Mike Wright
He's looked great, especially when D'Angelo was not played. The Saints run defense is just getting trounced every week. You just saw Left Bell have.
Unknown
There might be two Ryan's that are out of a job after this year. I can be pretty sure of that.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I would 100% agree with you, but. So I'm going with Jonathan Stewart and he. He might be on your waiver wire or he might be One of your bench players where you're scrambling for a running back. But I like J. Stu. Especially if D'Angelo doesn't play.
Unknown
Yeah, absolutely. And then at.
Mike Wright
I can't believe you're doing this again.
Unknown
I know. I know.
Mike Wright
You realized the last time he was the start of the week was when they played Saints.
Unknown
Cam Newton. Cam Newton's my start of the week. That's all.
Jason Moore
That's all I got.
Unknown
Cam Newton.
Mike Wright
Oh, damn.
Unknown
That is Newton start of the week. I'm not even given a reason now that you said that start Cam Newton.
Mike Wright
The reason is you were drunk when you wrote that. With Eli Manning, the Giants are taking on the Titans. The Titans are terrible all around. And if you look at the numbers, they are supposedly good against the pass. That's because people have been running the ball in their face. And with the possibility that Rashad Jennings is out. Andre Williams is okay, but he's not. He's not the talent that Rashad Jennings brings to the. To the floor. And we saw the beard drop six TDs on him last week. I think the Titans have quit. They don't want to be out there. And that's why I would. I would stream Eli.
Unknown
Yeah. Unless Johnny Football's back.
Mike Wright
Unless Johnny Football is the starter. But I don't think he will be anymore, which I. I believe the right move is to go back to Hoyer at least one more week. Even though.
Unknown
Yeah. You're going to put yourself in a position if you go to men's el now Hoyer can't come back.
Mike Wright
I've been monitoring the. My Twitter feed today. The Hoyer numbers are actually awful. Like you, when I say it's the right thing to go back to him, that's just because he has experience. But the. It's almost a logical thing that you should go to the rookie at this point with how bad Brian Hoyer has been lately.
Unknown
Yeah, I. I doubt that there will be a long leash for Hoyer at this point.
Mike Wright
Oh, yeah.
Andy Holloway
The fantasy footballers versus the world.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Let's do some start. Sit.
Unknown
All right. Let's get into it. These should be some decisions that some. Some teams are making. We'll get some perspective on. Guys. Let's go with two guys that have been actually hot lately. Now, we said Evans had a tough week, but Mike Evans or Keenan Allen? Mike Evans is facing the Stout Lions D while the Keenan Allen Expressway travels to New England and faces the Patriots.
Mike Wright
I am actually going to. My gut tells me that Evans is. Oh, and we're gonna check these and verify these on fantasypros.com which is a fantastic tool that I talked about earlier. And you can do start sit where they do a consensus ranking of experts from, from all over. So you're not just getting one opinion. Kind of like you're, you're getting two opinions now. But these are very strong, super qualified, very bankable.
Unknown
There you go.
Mike Wright
Like you could go to your bank with a note from us that says, I need a loan.
Unknown
They'll be fine.
Mike Wright
Because the fantasy hitman, totally fine. Said that's. That's your collateral.
Unknown
Done it. They don't, they don't mind.
Mike Wright
So I think the percentage is going to say Mike Evans. I think it actually might be strong in Mike Evans favor. But I'm gonna go with Keenan Allen. I know his production was, was pretty much last minute, but the. But Philip Rivers has a surprisingly good track record against the Patriots. He hasn't played them in a while and so it's a likely a useless bit of information. But I just, I, the.
Unknown
I actually agree with you. I think that the number is gonna say Evans, but I think Allen's the right play this week.
Mike Wright
Yes. So I would. That's, that's why I would roll with.
Unknown
Let's take a look. Take a look. Let's see what the fantasy Pros say@FantasyPros.com.
Mike Wright
We are 100 on our analysis.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Mike Wright
80% would go with Mike Evans and 20 with Keenan Allen. I don't know. It's. That's one of those gut.
Unknown
Yeah, I agree. The next one's kind of tough. Andre Johnson versus a somewhat hobbled Sammy Watkins or a getting back to health Sammy. Sammy Watkins.
Mike Wright
Johnson has the Jaguars on the road and Sammy Watkins has the Broncos on the road.
Unknown
Yeah, I'm going to go with Andre Johnson. I'll tell you why. Andre Johnson was targeted A team high 13 times last week.
Mike Wright
I love targets.
Unknown
So I'm going to go with Andre Johnson on that one.
Mike Wright
Sammy Watkins has been struggling mightily after.
Unknown
That hip isn't right.
Mike Wright
He exploded. And because of that and with the new information today of he's still struggling with his hip, I'm gonna go with Andre Johnson. See if the beard has a little bit more fitzmagic.
Unknown
Just a little bit more. And what's the result on that?
Mike Wright
So we got the fantasy pros has agreed with a 69% for Andre Johnson, only 31 for Sammy Watkins. Our third versus the world. Fantasy footballers versus the world. It's an interesting old busted new hotness.
Unknown
Yeah, it is.
Mike Wright
We got Reggie Wayne or the I really wish he was a Frenchman just because of his.
Jason Moore
He's a rookie, right?
Mike Wright
Yeah. Dante.
Jason Moore
So many rookie wide receivers.
Mike Wright
Moncrief.
Jason Moore
So many Wookiee. Wookiee. So many Wookiee wide receivers right now. Oh, my gosh.
Mike Wright
But they're clearly. They both have. Are playing against Cleveland.
Jason Moore
This is tough. This is really tough.
Mike Wright
He exploded last week.
Jason Moore
My gut tells me to go Moncrief.
Mike Wright
My gut also tells me to go Hmong V. I would say the. This is a floor ceiling type deal. Where is. So this depends on your team situation.
Unknown
Yes.
Mike Wright
I think.
Jason Moore
Are you facing the best team in your league, in your playoffs this year?
Mike Wright
Wayne's floor is higher, but his ceiling is much lower. In Moncrief's snap percentage has increased dramatically, I believe, the past three weeks. Each week for the last three weeks, it's gone up steadily. He is. He has surpassed Hakeem Moon. Hands drops, Nicks on the depth chart. And I would go. I'd.
Jason Moore
So like I said, I'd feel comfortable starting Wayne and I would feel excited starting Moncrief.
Mike Wright
I. Yeah, that's fair.
Jason Moore
And the pros say Reggie Wayne, they're gonna go safe. And I don't blame him at all. But I liked that over the top. Having somebody other than Hilton, boy, that makes. That makes that team dangerous.
Mike Wright
Yeah. I mean, next year. We talked about last week how if you're in a keeper league and you're. And you're kind of out of it, just start throwing stashes away. I threw Moncrief on my bench last week, and I was telling my friend, I'm like, yeah, I made a sweet move grab Moncrief. He's like, who was. Who was Dante Mongris? So I messaged him Monday. I bet you know who Dante Moncrief is now.
Jason Moore
Humongous game. He's had a couple this year, but that's kind of how it starts for these guys. They make an impact once or twice, and then. Then they take. Take hold. So Josh Gordon or Alshon Jeffrey this week? Now this is another one that.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I had this question today.
Jason Moore
Maybe we just skip that one.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I had it scheduled for. Yes.
Jason Moore
Jeffrey has a hamstring injury, like we mentioned.
Mike Wright
So it's. It's pretty easy. You go Gordon.
Jason Moore
And speaking of which, that's kind of the same situation with this, too.
Mike Wright
We didn't mention this. Let's go.
Jason Moore
Josh Gordon or Gio Bernard?
Mike Wright
Okay, before we get into this question.
Jason Moore
Oh, yeah, another piece of note.
Mike Wright
Isaiah Crowell, Cacao favorite of the podcast.
Jason Moore
How do you do the caca when he's like, kind of hobbled? Yes, that's the injured crow. Because he's banged up. He might not play.
Mike Wright
Yeah, they're hoping he'll play. He did not practice today. If you have a somewhat decent backup option, that's probably who I'm gonna go with. So originally we had Crowell versus Geo, but you're. You're right. Let's change this. Let's go. Josh Gordon or Geo Bernard? I think it's a pretty easy one.
Unknown
But yeah, I guess that makes, you.
Jason Moore
Know, it depends what kind of league you're in, maybe.
Unknown
Here's the thing about Gio Bernard.
Jason Moore
Jeremy Hill is kind of in the doghouse.
Mike Wright
I saw that report.
Unknown
So there's still the potential that. And it's not like Giovanni is a slouch and he's getting healthier week by week. So if you're in a league that's non ppr completely. I don't really think starting Gio Bernard is a necessarily a bad decision, although only 7% of people would agree with me.
Mike Wright
I. We do have this caveat. Vonte Davis, the cornerback for the Colts who has been great. He has severely limited wide receiver ones who are playing against the Colts, but he got. He was concussed last week. So he's in the protocol right now. If he.
Unknown
If he starts, if he plays this.
Mike Wright
That actually I might lean Geo.
Jason Moore
Are you a bigger Gordon fan? If Manzil's in the game, Are you.
Unknown
A bigger fan with Hoyer?
Mike Wright
Bruh, I. Man, I don't know.
Jason Moore
I lean Hoyer because I feel like we've seen him force feed the ball.
Mike Wright
I'm not sure Hoyer throws it deep.
Jason Moore
He's just been having trouble lately.
Mike Wright
He'll take the risk. I don't know how loose and. And slinging it. Johnny Football will come out with his first start.
Jason Moore
All right, well, in that case, Josh Gordon takes it 93 to 7.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it's.
Jason Moore
But keep your eyes on. On what it looks like for Jeremy Hill this week. He very startable, but I don't think him versus Geo's as cut and dry as some people think.
Mike Wright
So I have the exact scenario we're talking about. Jeremy Hill, Geo. As of Wednesday, I'm full force going Jeremy Hill, despite the news of Hugh Jackson and him feuding.
Unknown
Yeah, I don't blame you.
Andy Holloway
Mailbag.
Jason Moore
Yeah, yeah. This is where we answer your questions. You send them to us at the fantasy footballersmail.com we answer them as a part of our show. Today and you get the answers to your questions, you start the guys that. That you want to start, and you win the. Your league and then you're happy.
Mike Wright
And yeah, everyone's happy. We're kind of like.
Jason Moore
Our podcast is kind of like. Like an anti depressant for people's fantasy teams.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
You know what I mean?
Mike Wright
A preventative.
Jason Moore
Right. Like we give. Because you and I both know when you lose your fantasy week.
Mike Wright
Oh, my goodness.
Jason Moore
I mean, it's.
Mike Wright
It's devastating.
Jason Moore
Touches every part of your life. No, but yeah, here. Here's some answers to some questions we got. Let's open that.
Mike Wright
We do mailbag. We should mention the caveat that we prioritize people with funny or clever type names. This is correct.
Jason Moore
If. If it's funny or clever, we will read it first.
Mike Wright
So the first memo. First question comes from. Memo comes from Lionel Richie Rich. Lionel Richie Rich. He has a wide receiver ad question should he.
Jason Moore
Guys are on his waiver wire.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I was actually gonna start the.
Jason Moore
Can I join your league?
Mike Wright
My first answer is, you need to get into a big boy league.
Jason Moore
Seriously.
Mike Wright
But apparently on his waiver wire, 16 league, it's a 10 teamer, I would imagine.
Jason Moore
Okay.
Mike Wright
But Jordan Matthews, Kenny Stills, Brandon Lefell are all on the waiver wire. Who would you add?
Jason Moore
This is. I would go Lefell, Stills, and then Matthews in that order. And that's based purely on matchups this week?
Mike Wright
I would say I would go Stills, LaFell, Matthews. And for matchups of. I think Stills has the best matchup this week. And the Saints have a good schedule moving forward through the rest of the fantasy playoffs. So obviously you got to win this week if you want to keep going. Cool. Is that it? Yeah.
Jason Moore
The next. Let me pull one up here. The next one is from who will suck less. It's a good name. It's his name. Will. Who will suck less wants to start Tannehill vs. The Ravens or Kaepernick vs. The Raiders? This is a great question.
Mike Wright
The. The Raiders have terrible defense as we just saw, but the Ravens have a terrible secondary.
Jason Moore
I'm gonna go with anybody versus the Raiders. When Sean Hill makes our fantasy stud muffin list from last week, I'm gonna go with Colin Kaepernick. Even though they're in Oakland.
Mike Wright
I'm gonna keep going strong. You despite last week's debacle, but I'm going to head strong on that Ryan Tannehill train. All good? Yeah, he looks. What's going on? Yanni fall asleep?
Jason Moore
Get rainy outside? Had a big submarine sandwich? Come on now.
Mike Wright
Nice. Our third joke. Third joke. I started reading the email.
Jason Moore
Our third email.
Mike Wright
Insert butt joke here. Whoa. It's a tight end start.
Jason Moore
Be careful.
Mike Wright
Greg Olson, Jordan Reed, or Antonio Gates.
Jason Moore
For me. This is. Reed is number one for me. And it's a toss up between Olson and Gates.
Mike Wright
Another piece of news that we forgot to say. Greg Olson did not practice today, so that may factor into this decision.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I doubt it, though. He'll probably play.
Mike Wright
I would go Reed. Oh, man. No, I'm gonna stick with Olson.
Unknown
Okay.
Mike Wright
I'm gonna go Olson, Reed, Gates. No, Olson, Gates, Reed. Going in that order.
Jason Moore
Okay. Did you submit this question?
Mike Wright
I did.
Unknown
All right, great.
Jason Moore
This is from the Fantasy Hitman.
Mike Wright
Hey, even the experts need it.
Jason Moore
Okay, so you submitted a question to yourself or to me? The running back start question of Isaiah Cruell, Jeremy Hill, Gio Bernard. This is a decision that will define the course of history for you.
Mike Wright
It will.
Jason Moore
In our dynasty.
Mike Wright
Possible.
Jason Moore
Well, Cruel is out. And so we just talked about this. I. For some reason, I don't know why, and. Oh, I'm wondering if I'm willing to.
Unknown
Water bet this Geo.
Mike Wright
Jeremy Hill.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I'm just deciding. I think. I just think Geo's gonna have a surprisingly good week. So I'm gonna go Geo, Hill, Cruel.
Mike Wright
When I wrote this yesterday, because I wasn't. I was very on the fence with all of them. With. I was actually leaning Crowell, especially with the. The Terrence west tirade that came out of the Cleveland camp. He just destroyed him. And they were talking about west might not get snaps this week, blah, blah, blah, blah. So I was. I was leaning towards the crow, but now, now I think I got to take him out. I can't trust him. And between Jeremy Hill and Geo, just as of today, I'm leaning Jeremy Hill.
Jason Moore
All right, what's our last question here?
Mike Wright
Our last question comes from. Clearly someone who listens to the show because their name is. I should have stashed the Lions because the Lions defense has got a good schedule, has a fantastic playoff schedule. So it's a defensive question. Minnesota vs. The jets at home or San Francisco vs. The Raiders on the road? That is a tough question.
Jason Moore
I'll tell you. I'm gonna go with Minnesota's D and I'm gonna give you two words as to why. Latavius Murray. Guess what the record is for the Raiders when he has 90 yard touchdowns?
Mike Wright
I imagine undefeated.
Jason Moore
Undefeated. No, I am going to lean on. Here's. This is a game of. There's two things. One, Minnesota's at home. Two. Even though Oakland looked anemic last week, getting Latavius Murray back, being at home where they won, they beat the Chiefs two weeks ago. And we've also seen in the beginning of the year Derek Carr can sling it a little bit if he gets on a roll. I'm not expecting the 49ers as a bad play. They're a good play.
Unknown
I just think your ceiling for the.
Jason Moore
Jets scoring is like 20 points.
Mike Wright
Now see, I will actually lean San Francisco because Derek Carr will sling it. I'm not concerned at all about Latavius Murray. We have a very drastic differing opinion on Latavius Murray this week. But I think the Raider as we saw the jets, they're not even going to throw the ball. We assume that they have to do that. They would do something similar move against Minnesota. So the, the chance for turnovers is higher for the Raiders. Chance for sacks is higher for the Raiders. So I would go San Francisco.
Jason Moore
Don't blame me.
Unknown
Don't blame me.
Mike Wright
But that two good starts.
Jason Moore
If you got those starts going into your playoffs, you're in good shape. And so that concludes our mailbag section and we're almost done here. Man, I know this is sad. The season's almost over. But fantasy will continue.
Mike Wright
Move on.
Jason Moore
Fantasy will continue.
Mike Wright
We'll probably still have some things to say once the season's over. Do a wrap up party of who's.
Jason Moore
Who'S guys to look forward to. Maybe next year is some keeper potential people to watch in the offseason. The truth is NFL news never stops anymore.
Mike Wright
That is true.
Jason Moore
So we'll be at the draft shortly after the super bowl and maybe, maybe we'll have a little bit more focus on some of the daily leagues next year too to see how maybe we.
Mike Wright
Can get that Peter Piper sponsorship.
Unknown
That's right.
Jason Moore
We got a lot of things coming. So. All right everybody, check us out on the Web. The fantasy footballersmail.com is our email address and you can find us on itunes. Stitcher. And yeah, write us a Facebook message if you want.
Unknown
We'll be around.
Mike Wright
Good luck everyone. May the odds ever be in your favor. Don't.
Unknown
Don't start a wookie. See ya.

Thank you for listening to another edition of the Fantasy Footballers Podcast.
Fantasy Footballers Podcast Summary: Week 13/14
Podcast Information:
The episode kicks off with hosts Mike Wright and Andy Holloway discussing their delayed appearance due to unexpected events surrounding the Arizona Cardinals' performance.
Mike Wright [00:13]: "Oh, we are back. The Fantasy Footballers. We're a little late, but it's all right. Better late than never."
Jason Moore chimes in, reflecting on a particularly hectic week.
Jason Moore [00:20]: "Yeah, been a bit busy week."
Mike and Andy share a unique and entertaining tradition from their fantasy league, introducing the "pneumonia punishment." The last-place team faces a humorous yet humiliating penalty: being drenched in water and drafting in wet clothes.
Mike Wright [02:24]: "We have just inducted a new way to draft for our league where the player who comes in dead last for the season before the season... the loser will be watered by every single other team and then draft in those wet clothes."
The conversation highlights a recent event where a team narrowly avoided the punishment thanks to a dramatic performance by Percy Harvin, though ultimately the second-to-last place team faced the drenched fate.
Mike Wright [04:15]: "But in the end, Percy Harvin could not get it done. Percy did not get it done and he avoided water."
They emphasize the fun and camaraderie such traditions bring to their league.
Jason Moore [05:27]: "It's super fun. Punishments you got to have without."
The hosts provide a comprehensive rundown of key NFL injuries affecting fantasy football players:
Mike Wright [06:26]: "So Tory Smith has a knee. He did not practice today."
The podcast highlights standout performances from the previous week, identifying players who significantly impacted fantasy scores:
Ryan Fitzpatrick ("Fitz Magic") [09:25]: Threw for 392 yards and three touchdowns.
Mike Wright [10:38]: "He had 358 yards and six touchdowns for Ryan Fitzmagic Fitzpatrick."
Kenny Stills [12:03]: Despite uncertainties, Stills showed promise with increasing snap counts and target volume.
Mike Wright [13:22]: "He has been beasting the last couple weeks and it's a..."
Colt McCoy [09:30]: Delivered impressive passing stats, validating Jon Gruden's decisions.
Jason Moore [09:35]: "Colt McCoy came out and validated every Jon Gruden instinct."
The hosts discuss the potential of these players moving forward, especially in playoff scenarios, weighing their recent performances and future matchups.
The hosts delve into strategic decisions for the upcoming week, advising on which players to start or sit based on performance trends and matchups.
Tony Romo [17:17]: Despite a poor performance against the Eagles, Romo remains a starter due to confidence in his role.
Mike Wright [17:22]: "I am still starting him if he's the guy that got me there."
Matt Forte [20:00]: Faced a tough game against Detroit's strong run defense; concerns remain for upcoming matchups.
Mike Wright [21:15]: "But if you make it to round two because you've been riding your stud Matt Forte, you still have to play him."
Mike Evans vs. Keenan Allen [32:24]: Debate on whether to start Evans facing the Lions' stout defense or Allen against the Patriots. Consensus leans towards Allen.
Jason Moore [33:21]: "I'm gonna go with anybody versus the Raiders."
Andre Johnson vs. Sammy Watkins [34:33]: Johnson is favored due to Watkins' lingering hip issues.
Mike Wright [35:05]: "I'm gonna go with Andre Johnson."
Josh Gordon vs. Gio Bernard [37:34]: Preference for Gordon due to Bernard's inconsistent performances.
Jason Moore [39:21]: "I lean Hoyer because I feel like we've seen him force feed the ball."
In the interactive segment, listeners' questions are addressed with expert advice:
Lionel Richie Rich asks about adding wide receivers from the waiver wire.
Jason Moore [41:35]: "I would go Lefell, Stills, and then Matthews in that order."
Who will suck less in choosing between Tannehill vs. Kaepernick.
Mike Wright [42:42]: "Ryan Tannehill train."
Greg Olson, Jordan Reed, or Antonio Gates for tight end starts.
Jason Moore [43:35]: "Reed is number one for me."
Fantasy Hitman queries about start recommendations based on Isaiah Crowell and Jeremy Hill.
Jason Moore [44:15]: "I'm gonna go Geo, Hill, Cruel."
I should have stashed the Lions asks about defensive starts.
Mike Wright [46:07]: "But I think the Raider as we saw the jets..."
The hosts provide tailored advice, referencing current performances and matchups to guide listeners in optimizing their lineups.
As the season winds down, the hosts encourage listeners to stay engaged, hinting at future content focusing on offseason strategies and draft preparations.
Jason Moore [48:10]: "We'll probably still have some things to say once the season's over."
They close with well-wishes, reinforcing the community and support their podcast offers to fantasy football enthusiasts.
