Out with the leg injury. We don't know necessarily. I know Levy Smith came out and said, hey, he needs to get more carries, but Chris Sims is coming, making his debut this week, and he is a.

Yeah, he. He looked very bad after the injury. He had no mobility. He had about 20 yards he could have gained on that last play for the first down. So keep your eye on the practice reports about Tony Romo if he's your quarterback and if you're a DEZ Bryant owner. If you're a Witten owner.

I'm not. I'm not too concerned, actually, about Des Bryant. I think we didn't actually might force.

Yes, they are. I don't know if I'm making too much about the Nick Foles performance. 411 yards, two touchdowns, two picks. I don't think. I just don't think it's going to continue. Arizona gives up a lot of yards. They do.

I was taking a look back at Nick Foles. He's actually had pretty good numbers throughout the year. He had one just stinker of a game which has killed his average. His average in his position.

Yeah. Unlike last year, where he was last year. He was just getting away with weird things. But he's okay if he's. If he's your starter, then I probably keep rolling with him.

I thought it was spectacular to wake up to football. But if you watch that London game, Theo Riddick came in and he. He made a couple impressive catches out of the backfield. And the report, he went 8 for 6, 74 through the air with a touchdown. He's definitely not the between the tackles runner. Neither is Reggie Bush, really. And these two guys are going to split time. Theo Riddick and Reggie Bush, they're on by this week. Riddick is a guy that I don't think you have to pick up.

No, I would agree.

He's not a guy I expect to continue to put, to continue to put up numbers like this. If Reggie Bush has relevance, but he's a young guy and if, if Bush is out for extended period of time. Reddick is a guy you could, you could put in there.

I would expect because they had. Like we said, the lines are on by this week. I would expect the. That Reggie Bush is back.

I do like him. Cooks is going to be completely hit or miss. It was just happened to be his turn. Kenny Stills didn't have the bomb. Touchdown. Cooks got it this week.

If you're a guy that's like you're losing in your matchup and you need a chance at a 25 point fantasy game, you're going to go with a guy like John Brown over somebody maybe like, well even even over Larry Fitzgerald probably. But more so over a guy like Alan Robinson. Like a guy like Marcus Colston, a guy that's gonna give you more run of the mill catch numbers. Rumen Randall, those guys, I'd rather be rolling John Brown out there and say hey, hit a home run for me.

Yeah. John Brown extreme ceiling. Equally as extreme.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah.

Quarterbacks. Maybe you didn't hear, maybe you didn't expect them to do better, But Joe Flacco 195 yards, two picks, no touchdowns. So that was a abysmal fantasy performance. If you started Flacco Cam Newton the hype train and the hope was riding high two weeks ago. It is. It's not doing so good anymore the past two weeks he's not big good this week. 171 passing yards, no touchdowns, one interception, one fumble. And then he ran.

[Andy Holloway]

He was against Seattle.

[Mike Wright]

He ran 12 times for 24 yards. Yeah but I don't Gino Jonathan Stewart could run against Seattle.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. Geno Smith.

[Mike Wright]

He's on here just because it's funny that I think he had a quarterback and negative five and a half points. Not that anyone played him but can you imagine.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. If I go through these guys real quick I say Joe Flacco still a startable fantasy quarterback.

What about Cam Newton?

[Andy Holloway]

I think Cam Newton is too both of these guys that take off the poop list because Cam Newton had for the and we'll talk about this a little bit later. Cam Newton hat is my start of the week I believe.

And he is. Yeah he's run for this is a stat I was going to say for them but he's had 10 or more rushes in two of his last three games and yes the production wasn't there in this specific game but I think you're going to get a pretty high baseline on the way out from what I can see. So we'll see.

But it turned into a pick but he's. They're not giving him work. Is the the bigger thing another.

So let me ask You Marshawn lynch vs. Ronnie Hillman Rest of the way.

Wow, that's a really tough question. I still have to lean lynch because he. He should still get the touchdowns where Hillman was vultured twice this week to much chagrin of me in multiple leagues where that both if he scored on those two touchdowns that changes. That changes two of my leagues. I win.

So bitterness is clouding your.

No. Never. Never. But I don't know what's going on with lynch and just Seattle seems to have lost their magic and their luster. They are going back home. I think they have a good match of this. Oh yeah. Oakland's coming to town. So this is. I will say this. I'm already very concerned about Lynch. If nothing happens in the Oakland game, I'm going. I'm jumping off a bridge.

You're going to be really, really worried. Yeah. Makes sense. Lynch has had a rough go of it of late, but I think more of it just has to do with that offense is just not. Looks like something's wrong.

[Mike Wright]

I can agree with that.

So now they're still 4 and 3 and winning. So some wide receivers. Any of these guys. Let me just ask you this. Are you worried about any of these guys? These four moving forward? Jordy Nelson?

Mildly concerned. Yes.

Steve Smith, senior.

Yeah, I think the market correction is starting to happen for Smith. He did. He had a huge touchdown call back right on his controversial sketchy offensive pass interference. But he just, he was one of my top surprises from, from the first quarter of the season where I just. I did not see that coming. And I don't think anybody else really saw it coming. I don't think defenses saw it coming. So they have. Oh, trade was there while we're, while we're going. Adam Schefter has reported the Bucks finalized a trade of safety Mark Baron to the Rams.

Oh, okay.

[Mike Wright]

So not really super fantasy relevant, but that's still fun to have. Breaking news while.

Yeah, you did. I think the deadline just passed too, so I'm too busy looking at the fact that our Arizona Cardinals are number two in the power rankings.

Oh, delicious. Ian Rapaport did say the Cardinals tried to add edge help but nothing materialized. So back to the fantasy show. So Steve Smith. I actually if you. If you were counting on Steve Smith and not just benefiting from him where you have other guys.

And you just have to be. You were riding it. If you are depending on Smith, I think there is a. There is a danger coming for you. There is a what is deep rising sized wave coming for you.

[Andy Holloway]

Well, it's hard. It's hard with a guy. You see this with veterans. A lot of times they might start off a little higher and then come back down to earth because nobody had seen him with Baltimore. I still like him more than Torrey Smith.

[Mike Wright]

Now a another veteran, Brandon Marshall. Brandon Marshall. What is your concern level with Brandon Marshall?

[Andy Holloway]

It's fairly high. I still think he's going to be productive, but I'm starting to drop him down into the Larry Fitzgerald category where not only is he aging and that offense is struggling. Now, those don't both apply to Arizona, but you have Ashon Jeffrey on the other side. If Brandon Marshall was all alone, I would expect a correction quicker. Honestly, I, I'm concerned because I would have expected it this last game after he complained, but he only had three catches for 35 yards, no touchdowns. And the more I watched them, he.

[Mike Wright]

Was targeted in the end zone a few times this week.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, I mean and that happens pretty much every week. But the more I watch, the more I see Cutler skittish throwing to Martellus Bennett and throwing to Forte. Matt Forte dumping it. So, yeah, some concerns there. You also had some. The only two downer weeks really of the year for Greg Olson and Julius Thomas. I wouldn't expect either of those things to continue, but if you were an owner of one of those guys, you were probably pretty disappointed.

[Mike Wright]

I was an owner of three of those guys and it ruined my weekend. I will say this about Julius Thomas, the. Which I don't know if we've actually talked about it on the show, but just what how touchdown dependent Julius Thomas really, when you break down his numbers, how he does rely on that touchdown.

[Andy Holloway]

Which of all the teams to rely on it for.

[Mike Wright]

Right. I mean you can. That's what we said. You can probably count on it. But when you roll with a guy like that, you are gonna get weeks like this.

Yeah, absolutely. It happens.

Where Emmanuel Sanders is on the. The opposing fantasy team that you're playing so he can catch three touchdowns. Put me in, coach. Let's talk waivers.

Which guys we think are going to make the biggest impact going forward. Which ones are maybe Tre Mason, like flash in the pans, potentially. Mason was one of the top signings last week. Now he looks like he's stuck inside of a pretty bad rbbc. So top few guys here. I'm gonna read you the top five names off of this waiver list. I want you to put them in order for me.

Okay. Of this list, lafail is going to top my list. The news broke maybe 20 minutes ago. D'Angelo's playing for the Panthers and he's starting. So Stewart probably.

He looked good last week.

He did look. He looked good. I would assume that these people were weighing in on waivers before they knew for sure if D'Angelo was coming back fair. So second, I would actually go. I would be torn between Sims and Rainey. Now. He's a. Sims is a rookie. He was a later round draft, later round pick. And I mean, he's, he hasn't played at all. He's also has not how. I don't know how much practice he's gotten in, but is Lovey Smith really ready to say, hey, rookie, you know, get in there. And Bobby Rainey, when he's been given the workhorse position, has produced pretty good fantasy numbers. He's had a couple. He has some ball security issues, but you know who else has ball security issues? Demarco Murray.

No one cares either.

Get over yourself. Just.

Just because you're running back fumbles a couple times. If he's doing great, you don't kill him by putting. I'm talking to Lovey Smith.

It was probably to the detriment of DeMarco Murray owners that he didn't condemn the fumbles a little bit more because he was just kind of like, yeah, he, you know, he runs pretty aggressively and, you know, he's a beast.

You just, you have to me, that's some of the stuff that you just have to take if you're going to get all that good.

Well, you still expect the guy to improve upon it. I mean, whether you're Tiki Barber or, you know, Tiki Barber had a problem like that too.

You know, you do get concerned more so towards the end of games. Yeah, but. Yeah. So if you had to start one of these five this week, who do you start?

Yeah, we'll get back to him. The guy that impressed me this week is devonte Adams because he caught everything thrown his way and he looked like a guy that Rodgers depended on. Now he was the beneficiary of a. Of a kind of.

Yeah. But it just shows how valuable Adams will be moving forward if Cobb or Jordy goes down and perhaps still flash in the pan like James Jones used to be. Now he's not as much of a red zone threat, but he does score touchdowns. A guy that will give you a really good game every once in a while. So do you want to count on him?

[Mike Wright]

But if you are going into the playoffs with one of those other.

And if you have Kobernet. We've talked about this, I think every week.

You could do. You could do much worse. And it's strange to handcuff a wide receiver, but when you hear. When you're. The receiver is going to get the ball from Aaron Rodgers, it changes everything. Martavis Bryant was the guy I wanted to talk about Pittsburgh.

Let's talk about him and Marcus Wheaton in the same breath.

Okay. So they, they basically shared snapshot. I saw he played 33 of 80 or something.

Snaps a lot of snaps when you have a game like that.

Bryant we're talking about now he's a fourth round rookie and clearly if you didn't notice a Big Ben had the game of his career with 6, 500 yards, six touchdowns.

[Andy Holloway]

So I put a little bit of. Yeah, I mean that throws a little bit of.

So that skews things. However, what the. The takeaways from the game when I was watching it looked. And it's funny because it's following the same path as last year where the Steelers towards the second half of the year, it's like Big Ben just gets fed up with Haley's play calls and he says enough of you. You get on the sidelines and stay over there and I will take care of the offense. And they ran the. They were going no huddle and it looked like Big Ben was in charge.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah.

[Mike Wright]

Which is what happened last year when Big Ben really became productive. So perhaps they had forgotten that that worked so well. But it Just in the way that Wheaton has been playing. I know he's had a couple productive games.

[Andy Holloway]

He was productive this last game.

He was too. But two touchdowns, I think Bryant has now had. No, I think, I think Wheaton had one.

[Andy Holloway]

Okay.

[Mike Wright]

Maybe because Bryant had two, Brown had two, Miller had one.

That's a lot of touchdowns.

Wheaton had one. So I think Bryant's gonna be the guy going forward. And there was a little blur you'd rather have over. There's a little blurb that came out that said from, from Pittsburgh. Tomlin was saying he thinks that Brian. You know, it just could be coach speak, but I think Bryant's gonna be the guy going forward. He, he might still be splitting some snaps, perhaps this week, but it's not going to take long until it's. It's gonna be Bryant and Brown.

Yeah. So is there anybody else that jumps out? I mean, a question for you is, is Big Ben a top 10 startable quarterback here on out? Isn't that the literally the hardest question you could be asked in fantasy football anymore?

Ridiculously hard because he's. His ebbs and flows are so extreme. But if they, you have to imagine they take to heart and, and this was against the Colts.

[Andy Holloway]

Now, solid defense were historic.

[Mike Wright]

I mean, over the year they've been a great defense. What's his face? Cornerback. Who's their, who's their good quarterback?

[Andy Holloway]

Vonte Davis.

[Mike Wright]

Davis. Davis got hurt in the game, so you have to factor that in. However, you would think the Steelers watch the film and go, now why was this so successful?

[Andy Holloway]

I just, I think you put Big Ben in the same category as Flacco. Flacco had a five touchdown game two weeks ago. He had a zero touchdown game. The difference between Rogers, Breeze, Luck, those guys is they don't have off games.

[Mike Wright]

Oh, I'm not calling him.

No, I know you're not, but I'm just saying if somebody in your league is jumping all over, he wants to trade you for Big Ben, I say trade Big Ben.

Well, he did do that and they actually played pretty well against the Packers.

He's gonna shut it down with his last chance. I think this is his last chance to be the main feature back. Brandon Oliver, San Diego Chargers. Now I'm going with him last week was average for him. 13 for 36 on the ground, 7 for 27 in the air. I'm going with this. I want, I like San Diego to bounce back. They lost. Right. I don't know. This is a horrible question. This is a tough, pretty bad one Tori Smith had.

Pittsburgh, I know, has allowed their bottom five, I think, in the league of allowing pass plays of over 20 yards. Holmes had a garbage touchdown last week, and Seattle did hold the Carolina passing game in check. Yeah, I got a lean Torrey Smith. Both of these games are on the road, but because Oakland is going to Seattle, I will lean Torrey Smith.

Yeah. And we are. You know, didn't Tory Smith get banged up? Didn't he get banged up? That's overwhelmingly affecting this.

[Mike Wright]

That's possible because he put up a goose egg. Yeah. Was it because of a concussion? Do we not talk about this?

Yeah, I mean, I just. He's undergoing concussion tests right now, so I think that's impacting this. I think this is a terrible decision that you made to compare these two guys.
