Mike Wright
I'm not the only one.
Andy Holloway
No, I. Apparently you're not, because I saw a lot of Twitter action around Bugles. On the ends of your fingers.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Would they still be around if you couldn't put them on the end of your fingers?
Mike Wright
Bugles?
Andy Holloway
Yeah. No, because they don't taste very good.
Jason Moore
Like, let's say they were tinier and you couldn't fit your fingers on them.
Andy Holloway
Right.
Jason Moore
What are these little cones of Dunshire doing here? Get rid of them.

That's the splash zone.
Jason Moore
Congratulations.
Andy Holloway
I mean, it is a gift. I mean. Yeah.
Mike Wright
Do you remember Aidan?
Andy Holloway
Oh, no.
Mike Wright
Last year we went on tour and we had this big opening. I don't remember what city was. And Jason was like, I'm a. I'm a land. This jump off the stage. It's gonna be awesome. And then he fell.
Jason Moore
It was awesome.
Andy Holloway
He jumped off the stage, but he didn't remember that just distance causes you to.
Jason Moore
So here's the problem. It was very dark off the stage.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
So cool.
Jason Moore
Where the floor was was different than where my brain said the floor. So. But I still jumped off and I did not have any legs.
Andy Holloway
Little wobbly, but. Yeah, get in there. Ultimatedraftkit.com Very excited about the ultimate draft kit this year. It's going to be great. We have a great show for you today. Today's about name awareness, right?
Jason Moore
Yes. Right. We're going through the top running back prospects and.
Andy Holloway
Oh, I thought this was baby names.
Jason Moore
Yes. Well, I think you should name your babies after future NFL stars. So now that one in the same. That's what today is about. But yeah, we're going to talk about some of the people that are going to be drafted this upcoming weekend. You know, more than any year that I can remember. For both running backs and wide receivers, where they go and what capital's put in changes everything. There is no Saquon that's going to be team proof. And just, you know, for sure he's going to be great. If Josh Jacobs falls down in the second round, if he gets traded up for in the first, those things are going to matter tremendously. So we want you to be aware of who are the prospects that we like on film before knowing their location. You can root for some people. Root against some people and just be more aware.
Andy Holloway
Absolutely. And then on Thursday, we'll get into some more of the kind of rookie rundown, brief overview before the draft. We'll also make some predictions. Last year we did. I think we did a lunch bet.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Which. Which horrible foods did people have to eat last year?
Mike Wright
I feel like that was the eggplant one.
Andy Holloway
That might have been the.
Mike Wright
That was the end.
Jason Moore
Gross.
Mike Wright
That was the end of the lunch bets.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Yeah. So we might do that again. That might be the new beginning. But we'll predict some of the homes that we think may be the right fit. What team is, is going to go after Josh Jacobs or somebody like DK Metcalf. We'll make our predictions at where those guys are going to land and then we'll all watch the draft together. Now I am, I'll be honest with you, it's weird being in Arizona right now with the draft because you just, you don't get to listen to anything else. All you hear is is it going to be Kyler Murray, Is it not? I heard this morning that the Vegas had Kyler Murray, one of the heaviest favorites to go number one that anybody's ever been. But that doesn't mean, doesn't mean Arizona or not. And I've been the most staunch Rosen hater, Kyler loving advocate on this show possible. Right. I may or may not have a Kyler Murray jersey. That's right. Or may not have ended up on Instagram.
Mike Wright
I tried to stop them.
Andy Holloway
I just felt like it was win, win. Right. Like if he doesn't go, then you've got a. It's just great social media fodder for life. I'll wear my Max Halgers make fun of me forever. But if he does, then I've got the jersey ahead of time. Right. But here's the thing, I'm just starting to soften a little bit about that take. Like I'm just not so sure. It's just so much investment. If you're right on Kyler, it's amazing. Fantasy owners, it's amazing if Kyler lands at a starting job. But if you invest that capital and you don't get something for Josh Rosen and Rosen ends up great, like it'll probably define our franchise out here for like, I don't know, 20 years.
Mike Wright
Something like that.
Andy Holloway
Of misery.
Jason Moore
Yep.
Andy Holloway
Or joy. All right, here's a quick question for today, by the way. Follow us on Twitter at the ffballers instagram.com fancy footballers on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, also the community jointhefoot.com but here's the quick question. The NFL schedule released right after, I believe, our last episode of the Fantasy Footballers podcast. Were there any takeaways for you from the way the schedule ended up?
Mike Wright
Sure. I'll jump in here first. Look for San Francisco to get off to a hot start. We always, we talk about when you're looking at these late round quarterbacks, guys who have strong, strong starting season and it's very favorable for a few of the guys I really like Josh Allen from Buffalo. They have a pretty nice schedule to start, but in particular San Francisco, they do have the bye week on week four. So that kind of puts a little bit of a damper on it that if you feel like you've got something in Jimmy Garoppolo all of a sudden in week four now you're making a decision of do I hold Garoppolo through the bi week. But it's, it's very soft for not just Garoppolo, but all offensive players for San Francisco for the first three weeks.
Andy Holloway
So all you have to do is figure out which one of the running backs you can play in that soft schedule.
Jason Moore
It's super easy.
Mike Wright
But Kittle.
Jason Moore
But I think you bring up a good point though. When I look, when I look at. For redraft leagues, home leagues and I'm looking at the schedule, a lot of times people go, okay, I want to see who's got a great playoff schedule. It's like that's so far away, right? We're probably not going to be right on, you know, the, the actual year over year turnover on defense and who's easy, who's weak, especially by the end of the year. But I'd rather get off to a hot start and draft a guy that's going to help me win games and get in the playoffs that I can then maybe trade at a peak value or something like that. But my one takeaway for the NFL schedule is the Raiders. The Raiders got pretty hosed. I mean they, they have. When I look at the schedule like we already knew what teams players were going to play against. We just didn't know the order. And if you look at their actual travel and the amount of miles that they are going to have to put in on the season, not just because they're going to some international games, but they've got to fly to the east coast and play morning games a lot. That's hard.
Andy Holloway
That's why they already flew their scouts out there.
Mike Wright
Get the miles, bro.
Andy Holloway
They got this. The scouts out of the, out of.
Jason Moore
The operation, not allowed to be in Oakland.
Andy Holloway
They pre. Pre mailed them.
Jason Moore
Yeah, smart Gruden.
Andy Holloway
All right.
Mike Wright
It came out though. That was not Gruden.
Jason Moore
It was.
Mike Wright
That was all Mike Mayock.
Andy Holloway
I think the strangest thing in the schedule was the quirk in the Falcons schedule. They don't play outdoors until week 11. They've. They only, they only play three of 16 games total outdoors. And this little tidbit, a bit of ammo on The Matt Ryan versus Jameis Winston side came from Scott Barrett. 26 of Matt Ryan's 37 highest fantasy scoring games have come in a dome. Last year he averaged basically four fantasy points per game, more in a dome than outside. And they barely play outside all season, only three of 16 games.
Jason Moore
It's really nice for any quarterback, but especially for Matt Ryan.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, that's a pretty interesting bit of schedule news. Let's go, let's get into. Got a little bit of TJ Eldon. News.
Jason Moore
News and notes from around the league presented by Sleeper.
Andy Holloway
TJ Eldon is the running back equivalent of the John Brown situation. Where you wanted to. I mean you're a big Yelden fan, you're. You're a John Brown fan.
Mike Wright
I wouldn't say I'm a huge Yelden fan.
Andy Holloway
He's your guy though, right? I think he is your capable.
Mike Wright
No, he's no more than Mac.
Andy Holloway
But TJ Yeldin signed a two year deal with the Bills, joins the Backfield with Sean McCoy, Frank Gore also Josh Allen is a running back there. So on the surface, this signing for TJ Yeldom seems to punt him into fantasy irrelevance. Do you take that long view?
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean if you're, if you're in a dynasty league. So I just drafted TJ Yelden in our startup before knowing where he was going to go and I'm, I'm disappointed. Right. Because of all the places you go, it's going to take things to break his way before he has relevance. He is going to clearly be behind Lashawn McCoy. So if they trade Lashawn McCoy, great. Now Yelden has relevance if Shady gets injured because Frank Gore is also there over the long term to go to a team that wants to run the ball as much as the Bills and you've got a two year contract and you're behind two of the oldest running backs in the league. Maybe this works out for Yelden, but in the short term, yeah, I mean.
Andy Holloway
I wouldn't be surprised if by mid season he had relevance.
Jason Moore
Right. But in a redraft, you're not drafting them ever.
Mike Wright
Do you think that this increases LaShawn McCoy's trade possibilities? Like do, like do you really think that they will now actually trade?
Jason Moore
No, I don't. I don't.
Andy Holloway
Seahawks general manager John Schneider said that there is no timetable for Doug Baldwin's return. He's going to miss six to eight weeks after sports hernia surgery. We already knew that he was going to have an additional surgery and he did.
Jason Moore
Additional? Yeah. What else do you have?
Andy Holloway
Well, he's been kind of dealing with problems for years now like a shoulder and everything. It's really hard to have. Like if you just knew he was back and he was healthy then I'd love one thing. But it's just been so long and this team doesn't throw the ball very much. You mix it all together. Is Baldwin a sneaky value or is he just an avoid category?
Mike Wright
He's a void for me right now.
Jason Moore
Yeah, for me as well. I mean, certainly you could be on the wrong side of that. Like if he drops into the fifth round and you grab him and he's actually healthy, great. You know, you got a value. But you can get values on other guys that, you know don't have so many red flags saying chances are he's pretty injured.
Andy Holloway
And I'll just pass along the news. The Kansas City Star reporting Tyreek Hill's three year old son was recently removed from custody of Hill and the boy's mother. We don't know anything else as to whether that will affect or is any sort of news towards an ending to the Tyreek Hill saga? All it did was bring it back to the forefront of everybody's mind that there's an investigation happening both from the NFL side and from the authority side into some sort of child abuse related circumstances. Whether Hill's involved, whether he's not, we really don't know. But there is a cloud of uncertainty over Tyree Kills availability for the season, unfortunately. And it's gonna be there until we get final word from the league. All right, that is it for today's news and notes here on the show. With fantasy football about to start up again, it's time to ask your commish if you are using the right platform. Check out the sleeper platform. You can move the Dynasty league over there. They're always innovating. Check them out.
Jason Moore
Hey rookie, welcome to the NFL.
Andy Holloway
All right. We're going to talk rookie running backs and tight ends on the show today. A little overview over some of the big names, some of the names that you'll be drafting in your rookie drafts very soon. And we'll have rankings in the ultimate draft kit very close. Close to after the NFL finishes.
Jason Moore
Yeah, early, early next week they will be up. If you have pre ordered the ultimate draft kit and again get in on that preorder bundle. But it'll be up early next week with rookie rankings and Dynasty rankings.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, there have been a lot of people that have pre ordered and they're like, well, my, my rookie drafts coming up in a few weeks. Where are the rankings? Well, they're going to be here after the NFL Draft like Jason brought up, there isn't one team proof wide out, running back, tight end that no matter where they land, you're going to have fantasy relevance. You need that right fit. You need the team moving up and grabbing the player they want, put them in the right position. And so we are going to bring up some of our favorite prospects, talk through the pros and cons that we've seen on film and we'll start at the running back position with pretty much the unanimous top prospect at the position. It does depend a little bit on what teams really need. But Josh Jacobs out of Alabama, 510, 211, three seasons at Alabama. Everybody looks at him as kind of the jack of all trades, most explosive, most potentially effective running back coming into the NFL and expect him to go first among that running back group. But what are your guys thoughts on what you saw and film from Josh Jacobs and the type of situation you'd like to see him in if you are a fantasy owner looking to draft him.
Mike Wright
Josh Jacobs is my favorite running back in this class. What is very unfortunate though about him is his production profile is very low. And this is because Alabama they, they split the time. It was him and Damian Harris he last year only 120 carries but that's turned that into 640 rushing yards. What I love about Josh Jacobs is he is just an absolute nasty man. He is Shasta McNasty out there on the football field and I liked how they utilized him in the passing game. I mean all three years that he played he was over 10 yards of reception. I mean there was a particular play that, that turned everything around for me where it was they sent him down, they lined him up in inline, had him run out like a full on nine route. This is a seam route from a running back. Balls perfectly thrown over his head, pulls it in. I mean similar look if you remember some of those cream hunt catches against the Patriots where like there are these huge receptions. I mean last year 12.4 yards per reception. That's a huge number for a running back. So I love Josh Jacobs the player. He doesn't fit into the mold of putting up the type of production I like. That's why he's at least he's not a slam dunk for a prospect because of that.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he actually reminds me of. And you guys know how much I liked Kenyan Drake coming out of college. But he's like exactly Kenyan Drake to me. Same school with one big difference, right? Same school, same production model, same issues. The fact that he was, you know, kind of the reliever guy that comes in and was really efficient, good on special teams. I like both prospects. The difference is, are you going to be drafted enough to where you're given the ball enough? I still believe that if you gave Kenyon Drake 250 plus touches on a season, you'd have a locked and loaded rbi.
Andy Holloway
You mean drafted high enough to get right.
Jason Moore
So with Josh Jacobs, the rumor mill right now around mock drafts is that teams are, you know, even willing to maybe trade up to the teens to get them. I don't know that that's going to happen, but that's what it takes for me to love Josh Jacobs. Because when I watch a film, I love it. He's very talented. I like guys who can get to the outside. I like guys who can catch the ball. He can do both of those things. But the issue I have with him and when I was first researching him, watching drafts and he's talking about all of his interviews, the number one question he has received from teams is, are you willing to share the rock? And his answer is like, definitely, I think that's the right way.
Andy Holloway
Yes, I'd like to play in the NFL.
Jason Moore
Well, but you could also, you could also have. You could also have the response of like, I want to be. I want to do whatever it's going to take to win, but I think I'm going to, you know, give me the rock and we'll win. My point is for fantasy. I worry that he's going to be drafted into a committee and he'll be a valuable committee player, but not a workhorse back, not someone worthy of being the one on one.
Andy Holloway
Two things. One, he never surpassed 120 carries in college. That was his junior season.
Mike Wright
Right.
Andy Holloway
Never went over 640 yards on the ground. He's a versatile running back. The other thing is you hear rumors about Philadelphia and Indianapolis as two possible teams that are interested in Josh Jacobs. Well, if he steps into either of those situations, he is flat out a committee back instantaneously. There's no doubt about it. Jordan Howard, Marlon Mack, Naim Hines, there are established players in those offenses. If you had to choose between Indianapolis and Philly to drop Josh Jacobs into that system, which would you choose?
Jason Moore
Indy.
Mike Wright
Indy.
Andy Holloway
All right, let's move on to David Montgomery out of Iowa State. David Montgomery, 511, 216. Ran a 463 three seasons at Iowa State. What I like is the college production. I mean, he had a couple of big time seasons in terms of, you know, 258, 257 attempts in his last two seasons. I like his center of balance and that college production. I'm actually, I'm okay with David Montgomery. Where do you guys sit?
Jason Moore
You know, look, he is the one player, people ask me, you know, who's the guy that you find yourself disagreeing with the consensus on the most? And it would, it would be David Montgomery because look what, he's well rounded. He's.
Andy Holloway
You hear that, David?
Jason Moore
Yeah, he's well rounded. He can do everything okay. But I don't feel like he's special at any of those things. And if he doesn't get the workhorse role in the NFL, I just don't think he's going to succeed. I mean, I go through and I went back and watched film today because he was one of the earliest players I watched and a lot of guys that I really respect their process, their film review, they love him. He's their number one guy. So I wanted to go back today and like I tried to put my positivity glasses on and watch him and he's. His production is great. You know, he's been a very productive guy at Iowa State, but I just didn't see traits to me that said I'm going to be a star in the NFL. And when you're talking about the top not, not the guys that are, you know, probably going to be fifth, sixth round picks, it's like I feel like.
Andy Holloway
He could be a workhorse. I think he's center of balance and his, you know, that was what impressed me the most. There are some of these players that I think rely on the quickness and the quick feet that I don't think are going to stand up to the NFL linebackers. Interior lineman. I like the way he bounced off of players. Mike, what was your take on Montgomery?
Mike Wright
I'm more along with Jason that I watched him and he could do it all, but it's just, there's nothing that's very inspiring about him. I've thought of it as you were, Jay, you were like, hey, well, he can do everything, but unless he gets a three down roll, you're not going to be very happy with it. He's TG Yelden, TJ Elden coming out of college, who was a very high draft pick. It was a second round guy, had tons of production, could do everything.
Andy Holloway
But isn't that how you felt about Chubb last year though too? Didn't come out with top speed, didn't come out with one thing that he.
Mike Wright
Looked like he could do Chubb blew up the combine. I loved Nick Chubb last year. And David Montgomery is eh.
Andy Holloway
All right, we're gonna move on to Darrell Henderson in a moment. Before we do that, I want to thank today's sponsor. I want to thank 23andMe. Andy Holloway
All right. Darrell henderson out of Memphis. 59200 pounds. I guess at the combine he weighed in a little heavier, right?
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
208, 208, 449. Incredible burst, incredible college production. But playing at Memphis, 214 carries is that 1909 yards.
Mike Wright
He is a beast.
Andy Holloway
22 touch back to back seasons averaging nine a carry out of Memphis. Sometimes you look at a player like Josh Jacobs and you look at the limited like amount of work that they get to play in an SEC school where they get to play against the best coach by the best great offensive line. Then you look at, you know, we had what Rashad Penny last year out of San Diego State who had absolutely insane collegiate production. Didn't know how that would translate. I'm super curious about what you guys think about Henderson because for me, what I saw on film, if Henderson went to a far better destination than a Josh Jacobs, I would be in the Henderson camp pretty heavily. I think he's a very talented player. I think he fits today's NFL.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I'll let Mike talk the most about him because I know he has been a very big fan of Darrell Henderson. I liked what I saw. I think he is a faster breakaway version of Devonta Freeman. I think it might take him a year to put on some weight and be really prepared. But I do, I like most of his moves, his ability, his production. And you know, when I watch him, he was one of the more talented guys. Reminded me more of Devonta Freeman quite a bit. But you're the guy who's been talking up.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I mean you hit on really all the points that I love about him. He absolutely blows up the my production model. Lots and lots of green across the board, especially in the pass catching area, which that's what I want to see now. He had the benefit of playing behind a very, very good offensive line. That certainly helped him. But he is just, he is so electric and I hate to actually use that overused word for Darrell Henderson because he deserves so much better. If only he were five pounds heavier, he would be my easy number one running back. But I think that he bulked up to 208. I think that his frame is probably close to maxed out. And it's not that he can't succeed. Like there's outlier running backs away 205 and they succeed. It's just not outliers. Yeah, they're allies. It's not as common as the guys who are at the 215 area.
Andy Holloway
You guys know who it sounds like you're talking about right now? Who's that from last season? Who are we talking about? In similar vein, in terms of it's harder to get above that hump of the weight despite the breakaway production.
Jason Moore
Ronald Jones.
Andy Holloway
It sounds a lot like you're talking the Way we talked about Ronald Jones.
Mike Wright
Yeah, but Ronald Jones didn't, didn't have pass catching in his profile at all.
Andy Holloway
He did not have pass catching, his profile. But the breakaway runs, the top speed. Some of the things that made Ronald Jones attractive, that made him such a high draft pick for Tampa sure exists for Darrell Henderson, but they both struggle with the size. I thought he looked great on film, but I'm with you. I think that he's going to play a complimentary role. He's not somebody that's going to come in and surprise and by end of season you're going to end up, you know, the way Nick Chubb ended up last year. Somebody that could come in and handle every carry, but explosive. His highlight reel is full of touchdowns, 22 of them last year. 20, 25 total.
Jason Moore
Three through the air, making guys miss. And also one thing to point out for statistics that prove to be the most valuable as predictors from college at the running back position. I believe it was Roto World that wrote an article kind of highlighting that the most predictive stat for incoming rookie running backs was actually rushing touchdowns. So that's great.
Andy Holloway
He's got a pile of them.
Jason Moore
He's got several.
Andy Holloway
Damian Harris, the other piece of the Alabama backfield. 511, 216. Ran a 4, 5, 7 at the combine. Four year player at Alabama. Never surpassed 150 carries, but did that last season. What do you think about Damian Harris? Josh Jacobs takes a lot of the headlines. He's at the top of a lot of the dynasty draft boards. But I like Damien Harris. What do you guys think?
Mike Wright
Damien Harris was strange for me when I was, when I was scouting him because I'm watching going, yeah, he's looking slow. He's, he's not getting, he's not breaking any tackles. And then, holy crap, he was the fastest man I'd ever seen because he got the edge and just took off. And after that it was, it was just, just funny to me how I happened to start my film watching on this. Just bad string carries for Damien Harris and he's, he is also a special player. He's not as good as Josh Jacobs in my opinion, but if he mean, I don't, we're just gonna keep saying it. Depending on where he gets drafted, Damien Harris could skyrocket up the boards. I think that he's, he has the town. He's better than David Montgomery in my opinion.
Jason Moore
Yeah, it's funny that you bring him up because I, I see a lot of similarities, like very well rounded but not necessarily just completely elite at any one thing. But when I looked at my comps for those two players, David Montgomery, I gave a comp of modern day Frank Gore. He's a little bit slower but he's still valuable on an NFL field. Can do everything.
Andy Holloway
You think any rookies excited about getting compared to modern day Frank Gore?
Jason Moore
No. And I gave Damien Harris a comp of Frank Gore like back in the day coming out of college. He doesn't have.
Andy Holloway
All his comps are different ages of Frank Gordon.
Jason Moore
He's just a friend.
Andy Holloway
That's all there is.
Jason Moore
Sliding scale of how 1 through 10 Frank Gore.
Andy Holloway
He's more like a 29 year old Frank Gore.
Jason Moore
Right? No, this. Yeah, exactly.
Mike Wright
Oh, this was his 25. 25 year old season. I see it.
Jason Moore
But it was ironic that you brought him up because that's kind of what I see. And after we. After I first watched both Josh Jacobs and Damien Harris I assumed Damien Harris would be better for fantasy than Josh Jacobs. That was back before all the buzz of Josh Jacobs draft capital is in the wind. I just assumed teams would prefer to have. He's a really good zone runner. Upright gets north side.
Andy Holloway
He reminds me of Mark Ingram and not just because he wore the Alabama numbers but he caught enough passes last year to 9.3 through the air. I think he's a versatile player. I think he is more. He's built to hold up more than Josh Jacobs is. But both of those guys were platooning with one another and we don't know it's going to come down to fit. I think I agree with you on that.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I mean with him at least he's got three years in a row of over a thousand all purpose yards. Whereas Josh Jacobs had zero.
Andy Holloway
Rodney Anderson out of Oklahoma. 6, 1, 2, 24 Rodney Anderson. He's finished.
Mike Wright
He should not be on the list this high up in the show.
Andy Holloway
2015 Fractured fibula. 2016 Fractured vertebrae. 2018 Torn ACL.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he's made of glass, but it's fancy glass. It's stained glass window. It's beautiful. Look. Rodney Anderson is my favorite running back in this year's class by a mile. If you're just talking about talent and I'm, I'm not. He's not my number one running back on my list in general because I. You have to factor in that insane injury history. 3, 3 season ending injuries and the NFL is going to factor it in. They're not going to draft him as a first rounder or second rounder. I was hoping when I watched film, maybe third round, but really he's probably going to go. I'm now, I'm hoping for a fifth round pick. But if a team like say Kansas City, if the Chiefs were to draft him and he's only visited two teams for one on one interviews and one of those two teams was Kansas City, I believe he, he has enough talent to beat them out. If you go and put on film of his one basically full season back with Baker in Oklahoma in 2017, he was unbelievable. And he checks every single box I look for. He's stronger than the defender, he's faster than the defender, he can catch better than most any running back in this draft class not named or at least nicknamed Booby Air, you know, so there was nothing I didn't like about him. It's just an injury history. And if a team takes a shot on him, then I believe he can win.
Mike Wright
Just look, it's just a little injury history.
Jason Moore
It's. Yeah, it's just.
Mike Wright
I'm with you. When you watch the year that he actually played, he was sensational.
Andy Holloway
But, well, he had a breakout campaign. I mean, that season was, yes, was a monstrous year. Almost 1500 yards from scrimmage, but he.
Mike Wright
When he wasn't breaking out, he was breaking down.
Andy Holloway
I'll be here all week. Unfortunately, actually, you probably won't. The way you're snorting.
Mike Wright
No, I'm going.
Andy Holloway
You're hitting the doctor. Here's the thing about it. It comes down to exactly what you said. Does a team draft him high enough or does he get an opportunity due to injury in front of him to showcase any of this talent? If a team takes him in the fifth, sixth, seventh round, good luck. It's going to be more difficult for him to break through.
Jason Moore
Now.
Andy Holloway
If you told me that Rodney Anderson ends up on the Oakland Raiders, I'd start to be more interested because I feel like there are opportunities on a. With a backfield like that that's hodgepodge together, you know, Isaiah Cruell and Jalen Richard. And you know, all of a sudden a talent can emerge because whoever, you know, those guys are rentals, right?
Jason Moore
Then the only two teams that he did visit was the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans. Interesting.
Mike Wright
Texas is interesting.
Andy Holloway
He's a big boy, six one at the running back position as well.
Jason Moore
Runs very upright.
Andy Holloway
Travion Williams, Texas A and M, Lyle Sanders. We'll talk about those two guys to round out the running backs today. What are your thoughts, Trayvon?
Mike Wright
So Trayvon Williams is an absolute production monster. That's that's part of why I love him in the reception game. Over 10 yards a catch, 27 receptions this past year, 271 carries. Was running for 6.5 a carry. But he is a little bit small. But I like to see that his usage, I mean it's. If you've already, if you're already proving it that you can carry the ball 270 times, catch the ball over 20 times, I think that helps teams to take the chance. On Travion Williams, to me, he's, he'll be taken on the second day.
Andy Holloway
You believe in his draft pass catching ability?
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Enough that he could come in and be a secondary type of guy on a, on a good system.
Mike Wright
Yes, I do that.
Andy Holloway
I mean, because that's what it comes down to for me with what he brings to the table at 59206. If you believe in the pass catching production at Texas A and M, I think he could be complimentary.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I agree. And my first note on him watching was can catch. I think he's. I watch enough. You know, if you look at just the metrics, you go, well, he's got, you know, he's in the low 20s for receptions. But it's, it's not always a matter of that. It's like watch the film and see how fluid are they at catching. And I think he's, he's absolutely fine at that.
Mike Wright
He was huge in the office.
Jason Moore
But he's going to be an rbbc. He's going to be a committee back.
Mike Wright
Yeah, probably. But I'm saying like that his usage and size, that reminded me more of Christian McCaffrey who, when he was at Stanford, he was, he's an outlier where his size wasn't where you want it to be. But you saw full utilization and you saw an offense on his back. So that's why I at least have confidence in Trayvon.
Andy Holloway
Miles Sanders out of Penn State had the luxury of coming after Saquon when you watch it.
Mike Wright
A luxury?
Andy Holloway
No, not at all. When you watch the film. Obviously. A big season last season, 1400 or. I'm sorry. Yeah, just over 1400 yards from scrimmage. Not a lot of passing production his first couple of years. But last year had an opportunity, but it's really not that much production. I fast feet. I'm not sure how this guy translates. I've seen him as high as number two in Dynasty rankings at the running back position. So I think opinions are all over the map with Miles Sanders.
Jason Moore
They are, Yeah. I mean they're Even all over the map when it comes to individuals like myself. Because when I first watched Miles Sanders, first two games, I watched, I wrote watch two games. Haven't seen anything from Sanders. Just a guy, he's got 4, 9 speed doesn't show up on film. Today I went back, I watched more film to make sure because I'd seen some people that I like similar to what I did with David Montgomery. And I saw things that I liked a little bit more. And you could certainly create the narrative for him. He was a five star recruit coming out of high school. So he's super highly recruited. Comes and has to be behind Saquon Barkley.
Mike Wright
Couldn't beat him out.
Jason Moore
You know what, you're beating out Saquon Barkley.
Mike Wright
That's a, that's a big.
Jason Moore
And then once he gets the shot, has 1200 yards, nine touchdowns. So, yeah, I mean I, I think it's going to depend where he goes, but he's okay.
Mike Wright
Like I told you we were going to say that.
Jason Moore
I know it's, it's annoying because I don't feel like, I mean it always, every year it does. But this is a group like, I'll say this before the show, I said, yeah, here's this year's running backs. I don't like them. Like, I don't like the running backs, however, that's, it's kind of not true because this is a deeper year.
Andy Holloway
I feel like there's just not the differentiation that you, you've seen in years past.
Jason Moore
Yeah, the top end talent doesn't seem to be here, but there are like 15 guys where if they, if whoever goes to the right spot, they, they're going to produce for fantasy.
Andy Holloway
Well, I, I think that there are. It's just strange to have a guy like Josh Jacobs at the top of the list that doesn't have the college production, that doesn't have the production in the running game and still have him be separated from this other group both in the minds of NFL GMs and fantasy owners. When you have other players that, you know, have massive production between the tackles and all of a sudden one of them slides into one of those starting jobs on another team and you. I feel like they could run away with kind of the rookie of the year at the running back position where Jacob seems stuck to be maybe a heavily used but part of a platoon. Devin Singletary.
Jason Moore
Here's where we get interesting.
Andy Holloway
Devin Singletary, A lot of people like him. I wasn't one of those people. To me, he, I think you described what was it Henderson earlier about being okay like Singletary? To me there wasn't something if Montgomery.
Mike Wright
How dare you.
Andy Holloway
Oh, sorry Montgomery. Careful with Darryl Henderson. No, I like him too. But a 4 6, 640 was depressing for me from Devin Singletary because the one thing that you, you saw in college was massive amount of production, obviously a touchdown monster. But I don't know if 466 is going to get it done in the NFL.
Mike Wright
It's not.
Jason Moore
It's funny too because 66 touchdowns, I know.
Andy Holloway
The problem is that's a lot of.
Mike Wright
Touchdowns, that speed at just over £200. When you're just over £200, you better be agile or you better be fast. And Devin Singletary is not those things.
Jason Moore
So for me, Florida Atlantic, yeah, the competition wasn't that great. He's playing for a smaller school against small school guys. His offensive line was atrocious, man, that I love. I mean just really enjoyed watching. You want to have a good time, put on Devin Singletary film and just watch him work. I don't think he translates to the NFL because he doesn't have that breakaway speed and at his size that's going to be hard. I literally wrote would be awesome if he had 4, 4 speed. Because you could tell he can make the guys miss nonstop. Nobody ever, the first guy will never tackle him over and over and over. Makes the first guy miss but then can't break away to the next level. At least I don't think against NFL competition. He is one guy though that if he gets drafted by a team that had by Bill Belichick, Andy Reid, Sean Payton, a real, you know, even Sean McVay, a guy that is an offensive mastermind. I think this, I think he has the ability, and this will sound weird to be a goal line type back, not a bruising push the pile forward. But when you've got three or fewer yards to go, you just get him out in space a little bit and put him on a one on one or one on two matchup and he will make those guys miss and pick up the extra yards. That's why he had 66 touchdowns in college. So I'll be very interested not how highly he's drafted, but by what type of offensive coordinator or offensive coach he gets to work under. Because he is, he is shifty.
Andy Holloway
As are you.
Jason Moore
Thank you. Surprisingly shifty.
Andy Holloway
Benny Snell out of Kentucky. Thoughts on Benny Snell 511223 I love the guy. Three years of heavy, heavy workload. Kentucky.
Jason Moore
When I say I love the guy, I just mean like him, like as a person watching interviews, he's delightful. He's. He's too slow for the NFL, but he always moves the pile forward. I think he'll. I think he'll be drafted with a good enough stock and be given enough. Like, he's just not gonna be a fantasy superstar. He's gonna be a chain mover.
Mike Wright
He's just, he's the olden era of football.
Jason Moore
Yes, agree with that.
Mike Wright
Some. Some teams still like that smash mouth. Or you see teams like Chicago trade those guys away because they limit what you can do.
Jason Moore
Now Chicago has brought him in for an interview, but then again, Chicago has brought in every running back in the world for an interview.
Mike Wright
They have Chicago drafts. Benny Snell.
Jason Moore
He's so funny.
Mike Wright
Just trading Jordan.
Jason Moore
Jordan Howard is my comp.
Mike Wright
Jordan Howard, we would like to replace you with Jordan Howard.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
He's a slightly younger version of the young Jordan Howard we have now.
Jason Moore
Right. But I mean, look, he did play in the SEC and he averaged 5.3 yards of carry.
Mike Wright
Right.
Jason Moore
Was a workhorse back. 1300 yards, 1400 yards, 19 touchdowns, 16 touchdowns against great competition. And everyone knew he was a leader. He's just such. He's going to make you smile. And he's got a great smile. I like you, Benny.
Mike Wright
He's going to make you smile.
Jason Moore
He is. If your team drafts, those are the.
Mike Wright
Draft takes we are giving out right now.
Jason Moore
Only at the end of the show. I mean, we're getting to the point here where we're talking about guys that make me smile and I'm. I'm sticking by it.
Andy Holloway
Alex Barnes. Mike, he makes you smile, right?
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Here we go.
Andy Holloway
We're out. Alex Barnes.
Mike Wright
I'm back.
Andy Holloway
Four years at Kansas State. 6, 1, 2, 26 combine hero with the 34 bench press reps. Get out of his way. 4, 5, 9 in the 40 despite being 226k pounds.
Jason Moore
I like that a lot.
Andy Holloway
Over 1500 yards from scrimmage and yada, yada, yada. Does he go high enough to make you happy?
Mike Wright
I don't know.
Andy Holloway
Mike likes Alex Barnes. In case you didn't know.
Mike Wright
Alex Barnes was one of those guys where back, you know, a few moments ago. He's not. He wasn't really being talked about. He was very, very green. Once I plugged his numbers into the production profile.
Andy Holloway
You want to break that down a little bit? I'm not sure he knows what you're talking about.
Mike Wright
I mean, generally speaking of the production profile is just guys who. Their attempts, their Yardage, their receptions on a season and then just averaging them out against guys who've have already been.
Andy Holloway
A rookie profile that you've looked at for years.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
That you built out guys that have.
Mike Wright
Been, have had success in the NFL. This is kind of that baseline that they hit when they were in college. This is them against their peers. So that's what I'm talking about. Where they had a ton of production because there are guys who can put up huge numbers. But then when you actually look into their market share compared to their, what their offense did as a whole, you're like, oh, that guy didn't actually do very much at all. But Alex Barnes was a huge part of the offense. And then I. So like I said, I found him when he popped green in the model. And then watching him, I actually think he's a really, really good running back. Like he has, he has a very interesting technique where he reminds me a little bit more of Le'Veon Bell where he's very upright, very patient, waiting for things to happen. And then he came. It was just a hulk of a man who blew up the combine. So my hope and my dream is that gave him enough boost to get him at least into the fourth round. Because I'm with you that running backs who are taken in the fifth or later, it's just. Yeah. Talk to me about Philip Lindsay. Great one guy like your chance of being successful if you're even in the fourth is still very, very difficult. So day two, this is what I need everybody to do. Day two, cross those fingers for Alex Barnes. Hope we hear Alex Barnes name.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I liked Alex Barnes a lot as well, but he reminded me a lot of. And this will sound bad now, but Zack Zinner, 48 year old Frank Gore. 48 year old Frank Gore reminds me.
Andy Holloway
A lot of the future Frank Gore.
Jason Moore
Zack Zinner dominated in college. I really like this film coming out. But you just didn't know if you'd have enough draft capital.
Andy Holloway
Did you say Zach Zenner?
Mike Wright
Because he's.
Andy Holloway
He's the player profiler comp for. Is he really for Alex Barnes?
Jason Moore
Well, that's a good comp because that is.
Mike Wright
But here's the thing. Alex Barnes was at Kansas State.
Jason Moore
Right. So better competition. Yes. And that's the difference. That's the hope. Why he goes on day two or.
Andy Holloway
I liked him. I liked him enough.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
But you're right. Gotta go a lot. Gotta go high enough. All right. One last running back. It's not the air Raid by Cliff Kingsbury. It's the Air Booby.
Mike Wright
Air Boo Bay.
Andy Holloway
I don't think that's what it is.
Mike Wright
You got to put a flourish.
Andy Holloway
James Williams out of Washington State. 6 foot 205. Other than wanting this nickname to kind of permeate our show for years to come, what do you think of Air Booby number one?
Mike Wright
I didn't even know his nickname was Air Booby when I first was looking.
Andy Holloway
You like him a little bit more? Of course.
Mike Wright
He got a bump. I moved him, adjusted my booby bump. My fantasy ranks accordingly. Of course.
Jason Moore
Of course.
Mike Wright
The old booby bump. But here's the numbers that you need to know about in the past three years. 48 receptions, which is 71 receptions, 83 receptions.
Andy Holloway
That's a wide receiver.
Mike Wright
No, it's not actually Air Boobay.
Andy Holloway
That's more than a wide receiver.
Jason Moore
Yeah, it is more than. I mean honestly, if you. If you look at some of the top wide receivers, they didn't get that. They didn't get those numbers. Coming in at 205 pounds, he's a small dude. Look, I really like him too. It's an easy comp to say that he's James White, but it's the right comp. If you watch him, he's very similar to James White and what his abilities are, how he could translate, how he could succeed. So you want him to go to a team that utilizes pass catching running backs and if they do, then that'll be great.
Mike Wright
If the Patriots.
Andy Holloway
Did he get an interview with Chicago?
Jason Moore
Oh great. Well, of course he's. Is he a running back then? Yes. Here's the problem.
Andy Holloway
They're using their first four picks on running backs.
Jason Moore
The problem with searching for his. I can't search for Air Booby is James Williams.
Mike Wright
Yes. You have to remember his real name.
Andy Holloway
You can search for that, but I wouldn't.
Jason Moore
Yeah. So he met with the jets and the Bills. Let me see if he met with the Bears.
Andy Holloway
Oh, the Bills. All right, great.
Jason Moore
He actually did not meet with the Bills. They want a non pass catching back to replace Jordan.
Andy Holloway
All right, we're going to jump into some tight end names you need to be aware of. It's not a lot. Two of them come from the same school. Noah Fant, Combine Hero and TJ Hawkinson, both 6 5. Hawkinson a little heavier at 250. He played two seasons at Iowa. Fant played three. Basically two. These guys played side by side. Who do you like more and why?
Mike Wright
Hawkinson.
Jason Moore
Hawkinson for me by a mile.
Andy Holloway
Most believe Fant will be drafted ahead of Hawkinson?
Jason Moore
No, no, I don't think so. I've seen Hawkinson being mock drafted commonly to the Jaguars at number seven overall.
Mike Wright
Both will go to the first round.
Jason Moore
Yeah, both could very well go in the first round. Here's the difference between them will Jason. I'm not sure that fan will, but maybe. Yeah, Hawkinson will definitely go in the. Oh, both will. Oh, okay. So both of these guys are clearly going to go in the first round of the NFL draft. The reason I like Hawkinson more is he's a great all around talent. He can, he can block much better than Noah Fant can and he's a gamer like you watch and he's just so jacked up for these games. He's.
Andy Holloway
You're right. The majority of mock drafts have Hawkins in the head.
Jason Moore
He's such a.
Andy Holloway
He's still riding the combine, right?
Jason Moore
Well, Fant was the combine hero. I mean he was 99th percentile across the board and that's what's so weird to me and that's why Fant is maybe even I don't know that he's my number two for sure. He's probably my number two. But I watched an eight.
Andy Holloway
He scored a lot.
Jason Moore
Highlight. He scored a lot. I watched it.
Mike Wright
You're not sure if he's your number two.
Jason Moore
Yes, that's true. But wow, moving on.
Mike Wright
Hate is going to hate.
Jason Moore
No, no, no. I don't hate Fan. My point is this, this is what I'm trying to get to. I have watched a lot of his games because I watched for both Hawkinson and him and I watched a lot of highlights because it's so much easier watching tight end highlights because they, they're not utilized enough to where you can watch the games as quickly. I watch an 8 minute highlight. 8 minutes. Every highlight is like 10 seconds, right? 8 minutes of his highlights of Noah fan. Of Noah fan. He did not break one tackle. This is a 99th percentile athlete. He did not break one. It doesn't matter if it's a cornerback or a linebacker. It's just like now a lot of times he's burst by the guy and he's got so much space, a separation. You could just launch him for a 30, 40 yard touchdown. Great. He'll do that. He'll translate. Kind of like Evan Ingram. But I just couldn't believe that he never ever, ever broke tackles. Whereas you watch Hawkinson. Hawkins is, you know, hurdling guys, throwing guys, riding guys.
Andy Holloway
Fan didn't want to get hurt.
Jason Moore
That's what it seemed like all Right.
Andy Holloway
And then we want to talk about Jace Sternberger. Not to be confused with famous actress Mary Sternbergen from Back to the future 3.
Mike Wright
The owner of the Yeet.
Jason Moore
Right. Steinbrenner.
Andy Holloway
Oh, yeah. Don't confuse him with either of those Steinbrenner. But if you do, please confuse him with Steinbrenner for his sake. Texas A&M 64, 250, 10 touchdowns last season.
Mike Wright
Here's what you need to know about Jace Sternberger.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Play tight end for the. For Texas A and M. Led his team in receptions and yards and touchdowns at the tight end position. That's why you need to pay attention to Sterber.
Jason Moore
Here's what's crazy is he had to transfer. There he was at other schools. He was not a highly recruited high school player. And then he went to other schools, didn't utilize the tight end, switched finally and got to Texas and then had the one year where he really did quickly dominate. And I think that's because in high school he was an accomplished, award winning ballroom dancer. That's true. Thank you, David.
Andy Holloway
As is Mary Sternbert.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
I hate her so much, by the way. I'm sorry, but I can't stand her.
Jason Moore
I don't know who that is.
Andy Holloway
Oh, you do, you do. It's Emmett Brown's love interest from Back to the future 3. She's terrible. And she's in everything.
Jason Moore
She's all right, Nelf.
Andy Holloway
Isn't she married to Ted Danson?
Jason Moore
She's great.
Andy Holloway
Now look, effort that is she married to Ted Danson? Why am I asking you to that? Why do I even care? But here's the thing that's strange about tight ends. Go look at the college production of George Kittle versus his combine performance. It's an atrocious underutilization of that talent. Just speaking to what you said about Sternberger. Like came on late. Like tight ends can do that. All of a sudden you're in a system that's complementary. Wow, you're a pass catcher. Wow. You're a talent.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
So.
Jason Moore
And just throwing the name Irv Smith out from Alabama. He's another highly rated tight end.
Mike Wright
I think you're right. I think that Danson is married.
Jason Moore
Yes. Yes, Tad. Oh, that's exactly what she sounds like.
Andy Holloway
Pristine deal of the day. Okay, this is one of the most ridiculous deals that I've seen yesterday on pristineauction.com. is it P R I S T I n e auction.com.
Mike Wright
One of my tissues.
Andy Holloway
Tyler Boyd signed Bengals football. All authentic autographs@pristineauction.com. partners of the show for many years, good friends of the show. $28.12 wow. I cannot buy an NFL football at Target like an official one for $28.12.
Jason Moore
I literally just went to Amazon and typed Wilson football and the first one that comes up is the Wilson NFL One Panel Football 59.99.
Andy Holloway

The primary focus of the episode is introduced: analyzing top rookie running backs (RBs) and tight ends (TEs) for the upcoming NFL Draft. The hosts emphasize the importance of understanding player potential irrespective of their draft position.
Jason Moore [04:02]:
"There is no Saquon that's going to be team proof. You need that right fit."
The hosts delve into the newly released NFL schedule, discussing how certain team schedules might impact fantasy player performance. Mike Wright points out that San Francisco's favorable early schedule could benefit their offensive players in fantasy leagues.
Mike Wright [07:17]:
"Look for San Francisco to get off to a hot start... it's very soft for Garoppolo and all offensive players for the first three weeks."
Andy Holloway adds that this opens opportunities to capitalize on running backs during these favorable matchups.
Andy Holloway [08:04]:
"All you have to do is figure out which one of the running backs you can play in that soft schedule."
The signing of TJ Yeldon by the Buffalo Bills is discussed, with the hosts debating his immediate fantasy relevance given the competitive backfield.
Jason Moore [10:55]:
"He is going to clearly be behind Lashawn McCoy...maybe this works out for Yelden, but in the short term, yeah."
Seahawks' Doug Baldwin's ongoing injury issues are examined, questioning his value as a potential fantasy asset.
Andy Holloway [12:33]:
"Is Baldwin a sneaky value or is he just an avoid category?"
The uncertainty surrounding Tyreek Hill's availability for the season due to legal investigations is highlighted, emphasizing the unpredictability it brings to his fantasy value.
Andy Holloway [12:51]:
"There's a cloud of uncertainty over Tyreek Hill's availability for the season."
Josh Jacobs is positioned as the top RB prospect, with discussions centered around his explosiveness and potential in a committee backfield.
Mike Wright [15:46]:
"Josh Jacobs is my favorite running back in this class... he's just an absolute nasty man."
Jason Moore [17:37]:
"He actually reminds me of Kenyan Drake... same school, same production model."
Concerns are raised about Jacobs potentially being used in a shared backfield, which could limit his fantasy production.
