Okay. Well, I just felt like that was. That was one of those, you know, we're watching this game. Andy has all of his chips in on a bill. Super Bowl. Really? I mean, trying to will it into existence.

I mean, it goes way back. You know, the Bills were. The Bills were the rooting interest that I had before we got to the playoffs. The playoffs are Clear of Mahomes and Lamar and Burrow and this is. This is your time. You saw the emotions from Josh Allen and the players in the locker room.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. Because they're pathetic losers.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. The nice thing is so in this office we have. This is kind of crazy, the fact that we don't have an office of 100 people or even 32 people. But it feels like we have die hard fans of everyone that was still in the playoffs. Like the packers, the Bears, one of our.

[Andy Holloway]

There's a lot of fan diversity team.

[Jason Moore]

But they're all in the play other than our team. Our team would be of the playoffs.

[Andy Holloway]

But our team would have lost to Indiana last night. But go on.

[Jason Moore]

That's just true. That is a sad truth. But Schneider, one of one of us around here. My dead ringer shout out. He's a diehard Broncos fan and he was sad to a degree after losing Bo Nix, after winning the game that it's like, dude, if I knew we lost Bo Nix, I wish the Bills had a chance to like win and go on.

[Andy Holloway]

I don't think anybody's prediction was that Bo Nix and Josh Allen will both be eliminated from the playoffs on the same week when they play each other. And that's what happened. And so it was a letdown. And then the Bears, they go to overtime on one of the. On a 52 yard, 14 yard touchdown. That's what that was. That was a 52 air yard Hail Mary, 14 yard touchdown. I was standing. So I had gone out to dinner with my wife. We had watched the game at the restaurant. While we're eating, we walk next door to get some like ice cream. So I got it on my phone. Four or five people in there all gasped so audibly it startled everyone around us when that play happened. Oh yeah. While we're standing there. Because it just made no sense.

[Mike Wright]

It was impossible.

[Andy Holloway]

It reminded me of like a just throw it up for grabs from our flag football days and somehow Cole Comet comes free in the back corner and it just.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, it was incredible.

[Andy Holloway]

And they lose.

[Jason Moore]

I mean it was genuinely a backpedaling. Seemingly falling over just because he was running backwards. Throw it up for grabs. And then it wasn't up for grabs. It was just to a wide open guy. And that was not offensive pass interference. All the people I thought on first people were mad. Oh, people were like, oh.

[Andy Holloway]

Two overtime games. Incredible. One game in which the defense for the Texans did all they could do and CJ Stroud did all he could do for the Patriots.

[Jason Moore]

Dude, they should have Put Davis Mills in. They really not. They should have. I think they could have won the game. C.J. stroud, he's not a good quarterback, man. He was a good rookie. He's not. He's like, I don't think he's a good quarterback.

[Mike Wright]

I'm growing concerned.

[Andy Holloway]

It was a shell shock moment. I mean, going into New England, facing that defense, not an easy challenge, but lost it mentally in that game. And then the 49ers didn't even. They didn't remember they had a game this weekend.

[Jason Moore]

Oh, what game? I mean, that was, that was. They siphoned away in order for every other game to be so incredible. This off season, all these close finishes, all these games won by four or fewer points, these overtime games. The only way that could be allowed is if one game took all of the blowout, all of the embarrassment and said, we got you. We'll take it all on us.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, the. I don't know if you knew this, Jay. You came in a little later, we were talking about it, but the Falcon back there in Deucer's ALLEY, the biggest 49er fan we know. Again, all of our people here had their teams in the playoffs, except for us, riddled with food poisoning all weekend. Just awesome. And it was better probably than watching this football game.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, absolutely.

[Jason Moore]

So you didn't really. You weren't dialed in for the game. You were like dialed in on that toilet?

[Andy Holloway]

He was, yeah, him and his fiance. Ooh, like a rotational disaster.

[Jason Moore]

Did you get, like, the love you get?

[Mike Wright]

The SNL toilet?

The SNL two seater. No one was going to hold hands.

One was throwing up in the top bin.

Ah, an upper decker. To get, to get back to how bad C.J. stroud has been because that's, that's, it's, it's fun. I saw this tweet from Scott Barrett, good friend of the show. Off target throw rate. The worst quarterbacks in the last three years. In 2025, the worst was Michael Penix. 20% of his throws off target. The second worst was C.J. stroud. Third worst was Cam Ord. Like, you, you think about that, you go, michael Pennock sucked this year. Cam Ward would look like a rookie. That. Yeah, Maybe last year, 2024, the number one worst off target throw rate, CJ Stroud the previous year to that 2023, the worst was Bryce Young.

[Andy Holloway]

Remember when he was like, like, you're not a starter anymore.

[Jason Moore]

The second worst, C.J. stroud. So he's just, he had a great rookie year and is like living on it.

[Andy Holloway]

He's literally off target. Yeah. Well, the one comment I enjoyed was he had the best rookie year of all time just to jack up the Cardinals pick. Because the Cardinals had their pick that year, first rounder, when we traded Will Anderson. Another one of our moves. But yeah, that. I mean, that is, that is major evidence to the. Your being complete. I mean, their defense is unbelievable. They work. If they had a middle tier quarterback performance, they win that game going away. The amount of possessions New England had a night. Look, it wasn't some crazy great game from Drake May. One of the scores. One of the scores was a pick six. Right. You had so many turnovers and you know, they had a fumble down in the red zone again. But like the amount of possessions New England had to scores. The defense did everything they could possibly do and it's demoralizing. It's. It's rough and. Yeah. C.J. stroud, are you the answer? You better figure it out this off season, next year. If your defense plays like this and you go out there and you're three years in a row of off target. Yeah.

[Mike Wright]

I mean, so insane. I feel like the entire ball completion percentage.

[Jason Moore]

No, it's. It's a weird inconsistency thing where throws get away from him.

[Mike Wright]

When he misses, he misses real bad.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. And it's funny too, because I always.

[Andy Holloway]

Oh, man, I'll never forget that.

Season and how many. And eight in this game? Yeah.

I mean, it was. What did he have five picks in the playoffs? I mean, I'm not.

I think it was four in this game. One in his first game. And then I think. But, but the first game was all about his fumbles. I believe he fumbled like four times. So he's turned the ball over, I don't know, 20 times in the playoffs.

Yeah.

Hyperbole, but not crazy. Far off.

[Andy Holloway]

And look, the Rams. The Rams, they beat Carolina by three. They beat the Bears by three. They made it happen in the playoffs with a. I don't know. You've read it all on Twitter already, right? The interception, DJ Moore, whose fault is it? Blah, blah, blah.

[Mike Wright]

Stroud was one pick and five fumbles in the first week. Two of those lost five. Yeah. I'm on Pro Football Reference. That's what I'm seeing. And then four picks in this past one. I mean, how. What.

[Jason Moore]

When you have a defense that good, your primary focus is just protect the ball.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. I Know, he could have spiked the ball into the ground on every play and had a better pass rating than what he had this week.

[Mike Wright]

He had no Nico, but.

[Jason Moore]

And no Schultz and no Jalen Noel, who they had fully healthy. But they have him. Like, I think he ran, like, a handful of routes in the game. It's like, what are you doing? He's a good player.

[Mike Wright]

Even when you don't have your number one, number one wide receiver, you can't throw four picks and complete 42. Yeah, I mean, you can.

[Andy Holloway]

Life finds a way.

[Mike Wright]

You're allowed to do it.

[Jason Moore]

But we were all. When we were watching that game, this was a very, very close, winnable, anybody's game. Before the booty.

[Andy Holloway]

Before the booty. Touchdown. I thought Houston would win it at. I thought they'd find a way at.

[Jason Moore]

Halftime, all three of us, I believe, based on what we said. We're not joking. When we said, like, I would put in Davis Mills, like, I do.

[Mike Wright]

You do this.

[Jason Moore]

If you remember how the season was going for the Texans, they looked like they were not even a playoff team. C.J. stroud gets injured. Oh, it looks like their season is going to be over. Davis Mills comes in, wins the next three games, right. And then struck, goes back and continues the winning streak. But it's like when you're playing that bad and constantly throwing the ball to the other team, you got to give your chance. Maybe it's just an awesome day.

[Andy Holloway]

It's an. It's a really tough decision. I think I was with you, but I also look at it and I say, man, what does this mean for your team in the next round and the round after that? You're going to need CJ Stroud with confidence if he's the one that navigates the comeback, which he was on his way to doing. They went right down the field and scored on the first drive.

[Jason Moore]

He was better in the second half.

[Andy Holloway]

Is your chance of winning a Super Bowl. It's a tough call. You know, you could have taken that mindset of, it's a bad day. We just gave him, he needed to clear his head, blah, blah, blah. But it's hard to come back the next week. It was a crazy game. The Patriots move on, the Rams move on, the Broncos move on with Jared Stido. And the Seahawks clobber the heck out of the 49ers. So it'll be Seahawks, Rams, based on, you know, we all make brackets, but, like, based on what happened this weekend, do you have your picks for the two games? I mean, Mike.

[Mike Wright]

No, I mean, the Jags went out first round. But I.

[Andy Holloway]

No, I just mean right now based on what you're seeing, like Seattle going out and dominating like that. The Rams showing their vulnerable in two of their playoff games so far. You know, my original pick was Rams out of the. Out of the nfc.

[Mike Wright]

And I had Seattle.

[Jason Moore]

I had Seattle as well.

[Andy Holloway]

So I think I'd switch to the Seattle side after what I've seen and then being at home and then, you know, you got the Broncos with Stidham, but that defense going up against New England, the Broncos in Denver.

[Jason Moore]

We should talk a little bit more about the Broncos with Stidham. They can absolutely win.

[Mike Wright]

They can this game.

[Jason Moore]

I. I don't know if they could beat the NFC west, but I do think that they can win this game against the Patriots. This defense is good. And if Stidham does enough, you know, it's not like, like Bo Nix has been good. Bo Nix has not been great.

[Andy Holloway]

He's not even in an MVP conversation for the number one seed.

[Jason Moore]

Right.

[Andy Holloway]

Tells you what he's been.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, he's. He's been good. Good enough to get it done to get the number one seed. Stidham does not have to come out here and be amazing. He can't come out and, you know, be Max Brosmer. But the last time we saw Stidham start, he had a good game, so.

[Andy Holloway]

Needs to be a game manager that isn't C.J. stroud.

[Jason Moore]

Yes.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, I do think they can win that game. It's going to be hard for New England to go into Denver and face that defense.

[Mike Wright]

There's some. Some hope out of Denver that J.K. dobbins could be back.

[Jason Moore]

I didn't.

[Andy Holloway]

I know that was desperately need him.

[Mike Wright]

I think that, yeah, like he keep. He won't be able to come in and be like, I'm 80% of the snaps. I'm ready for pro football.

[Andy Holloway]

I loved when McLaughlin got the ball and the announcer's like, he's the X factor. I'm like, you are drunk, man.

[Mike Wright]

There was an X factor at the beginning of the game and then he got concussed. Who? Pat Bryant. The first three receptions of the game.

[Jason Moore]

Wait before you deny that before you move on, we got to talk about Mike's guys and we have verified that this year. We didn't know if the year of Mike was seasonal, which is still going or calendar, which Obviously we're in 2026. We verified that it is seasonal, seasonal. Not only was Pat Bryant on his way before an unfortunate concussion, but bad, terrible news really The Seahawks running back. I mean, this is a. This is a big deal for a team that has played a certain way all year to success. Zach Charbonnet tore his ACL in a game where Kinbone Walker the third was touchdowns. Pretty good.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah.

[Mike Wright]

He must be. He is the hero. You deserve Seattle.

[Jason Moore]

And now Mike's going to get to prove that.

[Andy Holloway]

Well, he's a free agent and for fantasy, he's a free agent. He's doing. He's putting it all on display on the. On the biggest stage and now has no competition to do so in the next round or two. He could really earn some cash and he could earn our adoration as a fantasy community because he could get a role that is more significant than what it looked like halfway through the season.

[Jason Moore]

This was. I thought that it was going to be like the way that I looked at how the NFL looks at players, not necessarily our beliefs in players, but it was one of those. Where I'm going, okay, you've got Travis ETN is probably ahead on NFL teams. Like, I'm going to go sign a running back.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, possibly.

[Andy Holloway]

I think so.

[Jason Moore]

But Ken Bone Walker now has the chance to go out there and just show the NFL he has a chance.

[Andy Holloway]

To go back to Seattle.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. As the Charbonne is not going to.

Be ready for the season.

Right. What do they do that'll be interesting? Because he's going to want the bag. And do you keep him or do.

You just draft somebody in the fourth round and make him your starter?

[Mike Wright]

Call whatever nonsense. There were two different balls at the end of the game that were perfect throws by Josh Allen to a wide receiver who was not good enough to make the play in Brandon Cooks. He's older.

Absolutely. Absolutely. Their best wide receiver. This is a personnel issue. This is not a coaching issue. I don't, I don't blame at this point, when you're that many years in.

Even if it might be a downgrade, you don't have forever to do it. But y' all didn't change the right thing enough because, I mean, they should have absolutely.

Two Pro Bowlers out of his last 50 something draft picks. Brandon Bean not equipping like Allen. I think part of why most people didn't believe in the Bills going into the playoffs is the, is the roster. It's just looking at it and saying, well, they don't have enough good defensive players. Josh Allen, they're not as dominant on defense and they don't have enough best.

Player left like the best football player left.

And it was almost.

But it's. But you need, you need defense. Josh Allen can't go do it.

Bring in a familiar face that everybody loved before. I don't know. Yeah, I'll do the job. I mean, I'm throwing my hat in the ring.

So, I mean, this is best case scenario for the Giants fans and for fantasy football. I think with Monkin being their offensive.

Player, the fact that they have so many good pieces on their defense, like, they have. There's not a lot of teams that have, you know, that are looking for coaches to have, like, six. Six elite players. We're talking, like, one of the best at their position on both sides of the ball. And they had. They have true elite core players there. So I think you're saying it right. The stabilizing force is what this franchise needs. When you've got a franchise that's been struggling for, you know, a decade, you need someone to come in and just be almost like the game manager, quarterback. You need, like, the franchise manager, head coach of, like, hey, we're just going to have a good program here. We've got.

We're going to be accountable, we're going to work hard, we're going to do the little things and then look If Dart is something, it's a better situation than Buffalo could be. Yeah, I would rather have Josh Allen as my quarterback and figure the rest out. I'm on that camp. But if dart is something real, I think everything else around it is better. While social media didn't win and the packers wisely resigned Matt LaFleur on a multi year contract extension, I believe they also agreed to an extension with their general manager. This is. This is good news. Mountain for is a great coach. It's not good news if you wanted him out there in the open market to somehow be convinced to come to a horrible team in Arizona where everybody else is good in the division and you have no plan at quarterback and a horrible ownership and you won't spend money and you're just a terrible franchise top to bottom.

I cared about one piece of news, coaching news because this guy was somehow in the list of odds. The Detroit Lions have hired former Arizona Cardinals offensive coordinator beloved on this show. We love this guy. Detroit, Drew Petzing. Congratulations. Enjoy that.

I have. I mean look, we did not like Drew Petzing.

It was a, it was a decently vanilla offense. Obviously it worked for total yardage and stuff. Once you got Brissette in there that could stand in the pocket and allow those downfield thing, you know, routes to develop. He does have a good run scheme. We were down to like the fourth, fifth, sixth string running backs but the way that he uses the offensive line post guards, I think that's kind of the connection they talked about. They liked Mike McDaniel. It just wasn't a fit for what they were looking for. And I, I think that's really what it comes down to. You look at Petzing is from that like Stefanski tree. Like which. I forget which tree that comes from.

[Mike Wright]

What I. The part I didn't like about the Arizona offense is that it was not being adapted in my opinion.

[Jason Moore]

Yes.

[Mike Wright]

Of like Kyler Murray's your guy. Figure out how to use Kyler Murray and like the fact that Jacoby came in and had success is like okay, maybe the offense is all right but you to be a great oc. It can't be only. Well, I need a specific type of guy.

[Andy Holloway]

He'll be fine. Look, we say all the blobfish comments and he comes with the stink of Arizona on him. He'll be fine in Detroit. Clayton Adams left Arizona as an offensive line coach and went, became. Went and became the offensive coordinator in Dallas and they had a great season. Great on the offense. You know, he had a great running game, reinvigorated the career of Javante Williams. Patsy going to be fine because he's not an Arizona coach.

[Jason Moore]

Correct.

[Andy Holloway]

And to be, you know, we'll see, we'll see. Kyler's going to go somewhere else and they're going to not be able to adapt to him too. That's what's going to happen with somewhere else. Cliff Kingsbury Had Kyla Murray and then he had Jaden Daniels and one of the offenses looked spectacular. And now he's going to be a head coach again. This show should not be this Arizona focused, but it really feels like this is the most embarrassing franchise and it is number one. Second Jets. Yeah, it's fine. We can compete.

[Jason Moore]

Who retained their coaches?

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. Two teams fighting over a turd. What else happened? Is that all of our. Robert Sala, the new head coach of the Titans. I don't know about him yet. I mean, he was highly coveted. I think Arizona was in the running form. They wanted another interview. He said nope. And the Titans hire him.

[Mike Wright]

Well, because all the rest of the coaches told the Titans nope. Yeah, Harbaugh's like, nah. Second interview, I'm cool.

[Andy Holloway]

Salah, I think is a second interview.

And I think the jets were not.

I think he's a good deep coordinator.

But some guys, some guys are elite coordinators and they're just not head coaches. And that's a. It's also a tough thing for people to actually handle.

I also don't love having a Cam Ward young quarterback that's like, now we're bringing in a defensive minded head coach. Obviously it depends if he goes and gets, you know, Mike McDaniel or someone that's a great offensive mind to run the offense. Maybe it can be good. But then you lose that offensive coordinator if they are good. So that's where it's really tough. To me, if I was a Titans fan, I think I'd be disappointed.

[Andy Holloway]

Eric Biennami is the new offensive coordinator or the returning offensive coordinator for the Chiefs. So he went from like head coaching candidate and star offensive coordinator with the Chiefs to one year of disaster in Washington to being, I think, out of the league.

[Jason Moore]

Nobody wanted him.

[Andy Holloway]

And now returns to be kind of a sidekick for Andy Reid on the offensive side. I mean, that's kind of what all of these coordinators have been. They've lost multiple offensive coordinators over the.

[Jason Moore]

Years, all to great success. Matt Nagy.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, right. Yeah. The enemy kind of reminds me of when teams, when coaches would leave Belichick, right?

[Jason Moore]

Yeah.

To talk about a few more quarterbacks today. This is more of the opportunity for us to we got through the top 10 on the last episode. Talk about a handful of other players and also talk about just in general, I think the principle of streaming the quarterback position. What kind of consistency we saw from some of these players that finished at the end of the year outside the top 10, but maybe were more consistent in their opportunities that they had. One of our stats that we talk about every year is how many different NFL quarterbacks finished as top 12 quarterbacks on a given week. And we've done this every year and we got real close to setting a record. 2021 was the record. 49 different quarterbacks in 2021 had a top 12 week, which is insane.

[Jason Moore]

Every year we like I know it's in the 40s every year and it always makes me giggle because there's 32 teams and we're not just talking like played football. But you finished the week as one of the best fantasy scorers at the position.

[Andy Holloway]

Yep, there are. There were a lot of Marcus Mariota situations where somebody just got it done when they started this year. The number is 47. This includes Russell Wilson. This includes Davis Mills who by the way was the quarterback one overall in week 10.

[Mike Wright]

And the Russ. Russ was cute. Russell's the quarterback too. After looking week one just could. I don't think it could have gone worse for Russ. And then it was okay, sweet, we're done with this. Let's move to Jackson Dart. And it was. Was the Cowboys feel like the Cowboys were Go figure. You're like, oh crap, it was Russell going to get. No, no, that was just the Cowboys Everybody, false alarm.

[Andy Holloway]

Jameis Winston had a QB one week. Shador Sanders had a QB two week. Mitchell Trubisky had a QB one week. Mitchell Trubisky is actually really interesting in the discussion around. Like, like people want to talk about Malik Willis in the off season. There's Mitch Trubisky was a Pro Bowler. Okay. And he's been excellent behind Josh Allen.

[Jason Moore]

Snoop Huntley was a Pro Bowler. I'm so little.

[Andy Holloway]

I just think that there are. When you watch what gets started at the quarterback position in the NFL sometimes.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. I mean, like Spencer Rattler, Mitchell Trubisky is a better quarterback than Shador Sanders.

[Mike Wright]

Yes.

[Andy Holloway]

That's. That's all I'm saying.

But not good enough to be a starter.

62 different quarterbacks made a start this year. We have 32 teams. We have 62 different quarterbacks that started.

And we got about 10 good ones.

Yeah. Max Brosmer did not make the list of the 47.

So we want to look beyond the season legend.

[Mike Wright]

Max Brosmer is a legend.

We talked about Alan May, Stafford, Lawrence Dak, Caleb Bonix, Hertz, Goff and Herbert on the last episode. Why not start out with the legend? The living legend, the newly surgically repaired legend, Patrick Mahomes comes in at 11 and yet his consistency rank is 3. And again, consistency is our compilation of how many great games over 26 points at the quarterback position, good games over 21 and bus games more than 15 or fewer than 15 points. When Mahomes played this year, 57% of the games he played were good. 43% was great.

[Jason Moore]

That's the real change for Mahomes over the last couple of years. He hasn't been the big bada boom guy, you know, accumulating enough stats over the course of the season to be a quarterback one, you know, most every time, but not winning you weeks. And to start this season, he was absolutely excellent. In fact, the first half, he was the number one in consistency was very, very good. Obviously dealt with injuries to his team down the stretch.

[Mike Wright]

Scooting. He was running way, way, way more.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. And that's the real issue with the. So he, he tore his ACL and his lcl. The current projection is that he's hopeful to be ready for week one, but ready for week one will not include scrambling the way that he was. He was their number one running back. And so honestly, the truth is with.

[Andy Holloway]

They should get Ken Walker.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah.

[Mike Wright]

Take it easy over there.

[Jason Moore]

I genuinely believe that the Chiefs, one of their primary focuses this off season, needs to be the running back position. They can't like. Pacheco's never looked the same since he broke his leg. Kareem Hunt is too old and they had no running game to speak of. Their running game was Mahomes. He is not going to be able to do that to the same capacity. Certainly not to start the season next year. And there's. They've been like in the rumor meal the last two years.

[Andy Holloway]

That sounds like a rumor meal. And I'm interested. I'm very interested.

[Jason Moore]

They're eating them rumors up. Yeah. Nom, nom, nom.

So it's going to be new blood.

There for Kansas City and they need some new blood. I think Mahomes will need a running game. And then presuming that they lose Travis Kelsey, which I don't think that's a done deal by any means, but I would.

[Andy Holloway]

Health meter will be lower regardless if he comes back.

[Jason Moore]

I would put it on the 51% side that Travis Kelsey is not back then. I mean, when my homes is slinging it to Kyle Pitts, you know, it's going to be. It's going to be awesome.

[Andy Holloway]

My son brought up, I thought an interesting rumor meal, a little nibble. And it was the reunification of Mahomes, Tyreek and Kelsey for one more run because they're in desperate need of more help in the offensive veteran minimums. Yeah. And Tyreek is, you know, he's afraid he's going to be gone.

[Mike Wright]

So they should reunite with young explosive athletes.

[Andy Holloway]

Well, that would be helpful too. Maybe ones that are not. So they don't take as many chances off the field as well.

[Jason Moore]

I think they've got a wide receiver type here in Kansas City though. Yeah, they like those off the field. Trouble guys.

[Andy Holloway]

Maybe if you run fast, you drive fast. I don't know.

[Jason Moore]

I must run fast.

[Andy Holloway]

Addison Runs fast. That means Jason runs fast. It all blows up. Yeah. Never mind. The other thing that stood out to me on My homes is just like he struggled against top defenses. 7.6 fantasy points differential between top and bottom defenses. So he did struggle this year against those. He was, he was pretty good home in a way. Didn't have Rashi Rice for six weeks. Really from the point that Xavier Worthy was hurt. Kind of didn't have Xavier Worthy either. I don't know how much the shoulder sling, like we didn't talk about it a lot because yeah, the heavy investment on Worthy, it wasn't there for fantasy. But I mean I don't remember hearing his name after the injury really.

[Jason Moore]

No, he was.

[Andy Holloway]

And before he had some, you know, he was more involved.

[Jason Moore]

You look at the end of the season, his last month of games, he never had a game with more than four targets. Just a bit player.

[Andy Holloway]

So yeah, the next name on the.

[Mike Wright]

List is last thing noticing of like because it was. The season was much better. People should be aware that he was really juicing things with, with his rushing ability. But you're now looking at three straight years. Mahomes 23. He. His touchdown percentage was four and a half percent. That's like barely above league average. Next year four and a half and then this year 4.4. Like they, they really need to do something about this. Like when Patrick Mahomes is an average touchdown throwing quarterback, you. It's like that sucks. That's awful for the NFL.

[Jason Moore]

They need Kyle Pitts.

[Mike Wright]

Oh my gosh.

That's their. That's the answer.

I mean those are three of the top quarterbacks. And their teams haven't been able to put that player on that team.

They have been able to put that player on the team when they Had a rookie contract.

Exactly. And they were way back.

Mars never had it. But that's true. But, but yeah, I mean, Mark Andrews was awesome. Yeah, he was. He was awesome, but not.

I mean, man, it's hard to pay for top tier wide receivers when you've got one of the, you know, top five highest paid quarterbacks. Just is.

Yeah, that means failing. He was, I mean 6% great, 18% good, 41% bust. And I mean he lost Evans for a majority of the season, but you know, it seemed like everything was going to go great. For six weeks they were winning ball games. Last second drives. A Buca was a revelation.

Was had been moved to the 101 for rookie drafts.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, that hasn't. That's not that way.

Which really sucks. But you know, he just fell off a cliff. And then they decided they were going to bring back Todd Bowles. Right. They fired Grizzard, which means that Baker will now have another new offensive coordinator for the zillion time they needed to. Well, yeah, that gives me more hope than keeping him. Yeah.

But this, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are like, this is the poster child here for why on this show. Or like your head coach should be your offense because when you have a good offensive coordinator, that guy just gets poached and turns into a coach for a different team. And then you're back into it of. I sure hope the next OC we bring in is as good. And they like when Canalis left, it was like, oh no. Oh no. But they hit. They got Liam Cohen. Success. You're rewarded for that hit is that guy goes and gets a head coaching job.

Yeah, especially the second half of the year. We know he was dealing with some injuries last year, 71% completion percentage for 4,500 yards and 41 touchdowns, a 7.2 touchdown rate. This year, 63% completion percentage, 26 touchdowns, a 4.8% completion rate. And you know, this was, this was a debate in the off season. Could he repeat what he did feel? The answer was no. He went back to what he was the first year in Tampa Bay.

Feels so much better for Trevor Lawrence here in those numbers.

I was going to say that that is, that is a huge Liam Cohen testimony. Now. He had lost Canales after the first year and you're like, oh, could he still have a good year? He had a better year, so we'll see what happens there. But this was an unplayable late round pick that seemed like he was discount to me. He seemed like he was going to be discount Burrow. Turned out he was not valuable at all. I mean, the first six weeks of the year, if you played him, you were happy. But beyond that, farewell. But he's played. He's played with Haley, Monkin, Van Pelt, McAdoon, McVeigh, Canales, Cohen and Grizzard and now has a new offensive coordinator again. And I don't think he's going to be in contention for any sort of late round draft pick this year. It'll be a prove it policy for fantasy players next year.

[Jason Moore]

I just, I am really looking forward to the surgery information on what was ailing him this year and what offseason procedure he got done.

[Andy Holloway]

You think it's coming?

I hope, I hope it's coming. You know, it's one of those, like, there's got to be something because it's.

Correct. So he does not get punished for those. It's just the percentage of games he plays.

Okay. Because his fantasy finish was 13 then and that's cumulative, including injured games. Am I right about that?

So if you, if you play in the game and you leave, then it counts. If you missed, you miss started the game. Yeah, exactly. Because you got started.

But on the high level rank, not just the consistency rank like he's 13 on our list.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, that's just total fantasy points scored on the.

That's what I mean. Yeah, that's what I meant. Yeah. So 50% good games, 21% great, 29% bust. Went through the transition at the, you know, head coach position. Brian Dabel getting fired. Lost Malik Neighbors to a torn ACL in Week 4. Lost Cam Scatter Boo, his main man in Week 8 with the ankle fracture and dislocation. I would love to have the postmortem thoughts on Jackson Dart season because I. Obviously there was a lot of excitement, there was a lot of production, then there was a lull, then we ended stronger. How about. How about taking a shot at where he finishes next year? Try that out for size.

So I am. My chips are all in on Jackson Dart. I think that he is because of.

[Andy Holloway]

How he spells his name because he's so cool.

Because of the X. You know, he has a brother.

He 487 and nine this year.

He averaged 41 rushing yards per game and starts. That is the 55th best among rookie quarterbacks ever. And then last year among 38 qualifying quarterbacks with 200 or more drop backs. So guys who are actually, you know, getting some volume throwing the ball. He was tied for fourth in fantasy points per drop back. So you had Allen, Lamar, Brock, Purdy, and then there was Dart and Drake, Maine. They were tied. And he was doing all of this where Wandell Robinson was his number one guy. And that. That's not dunking on Wanda. Like Wanda is a. Wanda is a good piece of an offense. He's not Malik Neighbors. Like when you have a guy that you. When Malik is back and fully healthy, that will be a question of the off season. But you have an elite wide receiver. Receiver. You could throw the ball at him 10 plus times a week and then figure out the rest. I'm just. I'm super excited that it wasn't just. This wasn't Justin Fields year. Right. When Justin Fields had his breakout, it was like 60% of his points were coming from rushing. Like Dart is a good pocket passer as well as someone who's going to run. We do need him to protect himself though.

[Andy Holloway]

He kind of had. I mean, there's a pretty easy off season argument that we're going to have on Jackson Dart, which is all of the stuff you just said combined with the return of his weapons and whatever weapons they draft. I mean, they could take somebody like Jordan Tyson and pair them with Malik Neighbors.

[Mike Wright]

And I'm super. I'm excited for Theo Johnson and yeah, Theo's good.

[Andy Holloway]

I'm looking at their opponents for next year. I was curious what division they play in the afc. It's going to be the South. So it's Colts, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Texans, that group. You got Harbaugh coming in. I mean this is, this is your like layup high upside, exciting pick.

[Jason Moore]

He'll. He'll be. He'll be drafted that way. He will. That'll be the issue.

[Andy Holloway]

Six round.

[Jason Moore]

No, I think he'll be fifth round. I worry he's a fourth round. If he's in the fifth round, I'll be taking him. No problem. Look at when he started, you know, really going and like you said, Mike loses. Malik Neighbors had a ton of this. These games where also lost Cam Scatter Boo. You know, not good for the offense. Like he was playing with a hodgepodge group. And from week six on, which is really when he got started, he was very, very good. You're talking about he was the quarterback 4 in points per game, scoring identically to Josh Allen. 20.6 fantasy points per game. I mean, you give him more weapons, another year in the system. I agree in part on the. He's a good pocket passer. I think he's very inconsistent in there. I saw a lot of stuff we got away with and felt like, like. Remember Nick Foles?

[Mike Wright]

Yes. The magic season.

[Jason Moore]

The magic season where it was like he should have thrown 20 picks, instead he threw none.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah.

[Jason Moore]

This is just like everybody. I felt like there was a lot of that with Jackson Dart, but he was a rookie. I expect him to get better at that. And Harbaugh carries enough weight that I think he will hopefully cut down on the concussions for Jackson Dart. You know, he'll be like.

[Andy Holloway]

He might listen to him.

[Jason Moore]

Right? It might listen to him.

[Andy Holloway]

He's got the authoritative. Yeah, look, it's. You want that. You want to toe the line. I think Baker does it right. Like Baker takes risks. He runs with a reckless abandon, but doesn't seem to get hurt like you. You're not Josh Allen size wise, you're not Cam Newton size wise. You can't do.

[Mike Wright]

I don't think he's even.

[Jason Moore]

I don't.

[Mike Wright]

I don't know if he's close to Baker's weight, but Baker just looks like a. Baker looks sturdier than Darby Stick.

[Andy Holloway]

I mean, Jaden runs, and now he doesn't play. I mean, so it is tough.

[Mike Wright]

And you can. You can run.

[Andy Holloway]

He's played that way his whole life.

[Mike Wright]

You can run well. Yeah.

Just for you to learn to slide and learn to run out of bounds.

[Mike Wright]

Because he's been the best athlete on the field for most of his life, and that is no longer the truth.

If you need a first down in a playoff game, you're allowed to go.

And with Monkin coming in, you know, is that confirmed or is everything I saw was just like, he's probably coming with hardball?

I think it is more that. I don't think the contract has been signed yet as of this moment. But. Yeah.

Yeah, it's a possibility. Harbaugh's quote is, we'll see. Can't really say right now. He's interviewing Tuesday for the Browns head coaching job. There are a lot of balls still up in the NFL, that's for sure.

But say if it is Monken, that's Monkins. Got a good offense for fantasy football.

[Andy Holloway]

So he's bigger than Baker.

Jackson Dart is like a pretty boy. Baker Mayfield grows a beard in four hours.

No, Jackson Dart is going to be very exciting. I want to just give you numbers like how these players finished as I run through the other names so that you're aware out there of how they did. Sam Darnold was 14 in fantasy points, but 27 inconsistency.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, the second half really got away.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, 32 over the second half. He was unplayable. He had so many bus games. 50% of the time he was busting. Josh Jordan. Love number 15. Consistency rank of 22. Dear goodness. Jacoby Brissette was 16. Consistency rank of 21. Daniel Jones was number 18. RIP Daniel. Consistency rank of 14. We'll miss. We missed him.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, that was.

[Andy Holloway]

So did the Colts. They fell off a cliff.

[Jason Moore]

That was so sad. You had a team that looked like they were in it for the super bowl number one record. They go and they add to their number one seed, Sauce Gardner.

[Andy Holloway]

They played fantasy. They did what I would have done.

[Jason Moore]

Don't make layoff trade.

[Andy Holloway]

All my picks for somebody good. Bryce Young at 19. Consistency rank of 19 really wasn't a fantasy factor very often. Lamar Jackson finished at 20. He's worth a brief conversation. Consistency rank was 16 for him. And again, that takes the injury games out. He had a 46% bus rate.

[Mike Wright]

What was the first injury?

[Andy Holloway]

So Lamar never looked like lamar from week 11 on to me, ever. Not one game.

[Jason Moore]

I would say from week four on.

[Mike Wright]

It was the hand. Yes, he had the hamstring, but it was on fire the first three.

[Jason Moore]

Oh, my gosh. He started the year and it was just like what we saw last year, where it's like, oh, this is the MVP. He's going to throw for 40 touchdowns and 4,000 yards and rush for 800 yards.

[Mike Wright]

Nine passing touchdowns through the first three.

[Jason Moore]

Weeks and then gets injured, misses.

[Andy Holloway]

Never the same.

[Mike Wright]

No.

[Jason Moore]

Never the same.

[Andy Holloway]

No. And it is a little. That one's going to hang over his head a little bit for me going into next year. In the inverse reason that we're excited about Jackson Dart, you lost your head coach, you lost your offensive coordinator, so you're going to have a change in those positions if you don't bring in more personnel. You know, look, all due respect, is a Flowers. You're good, but likely is a free agent. Andrews is getting older. Derek Henry's getting older. I need a reason to believe that Lamar can go to an MVP level again. And I don't think he can do it with the personnel that they have and the head coach and offensive system. Like if I was coaching Baltimore today for next year, I think the highest odds of an offensive coordinator, they'd come in and they'd run Derek Henry all the time. That's, that's what you do. Because Lamar's been hurt. He's not going to run the same way at his age now he's going to be. He's 29. He's going to be 30. You can't run him like you used to. He ran for 349 yards this year. He only missed four games. That's a headline to me. In terms of your stability, what's his consistency grade on the website? You want to look that up for a second? He's a B. Yeah.

[Jason Moore]

I would love to see him have a, a superstar tight end again the way that he played with.

[Mike Wright]

Well, they have unfortunately locked up all of their tight end money.

[Jason Moore]

Well, no, no, no. I would like them to draft Mendoza and I would like them to trade Lamar for that number one pick and unite him with Brock Bowers. I mean, those rumors. No, those are, that's in the rumor meal. The rumor meal has been talking about.

[Andy Holloway]

It took me one second to remember that that was an intentional misspeaking of rumor mill. Yeah.

[Mike Wright]

People are talking. Lamar with a 101.

[Andy Holloway]

Jason's been talking with his friends.

[Jason Moore]

You guys haven't seen that. That is. No, I am not creating this out of thin air.

[Mike Wright]

You're creating out.

I don't know who you follow.

I mean, it makes sense as a rumor. It makes sense because you're saying, okay, if you are, if you're the Raiders, would you rather.

[Mike Wright]

I'd rather have.

Of course. But if you're the team that has. I mean right now, Andy, you were saying all season like you felt like they're getting near the end with Lamar. They're kind of frustrated. Obviously. They fire the head coach. Expectations were high. If you could trade a 29 year old that you're frustrated with and maybe a little burned down on for the number one overall pick. If you believe.

[Andy Holloway]

I don't think I was talking about that all season, but I brought up the fact that it was, it was surfaced by others that this is the Cam Newton age where the running cliff happened and you might not have the same dude anymore. So I, you know, I don't know what Las Vegas is going to do.

[Mike Wright]

They're going to draft Mendoza.

[Andy Holloway]

I think they just tried to get, you know, an experienced veteran in Geno and it didn't work. And I feel like the decision was made between Lamar and Harbaugh and they chose to let go of Harbaugh.

[Jason Moore]

That's fair. To double down on Lamar. That is fair.

[Andy Holloway]

C.J. stroud, 21 on the list, 24. Inconsistency. Brock Purdy, 23 on the list, 7, inconsistency. Brock Purdy didn't have a long year in terms of games played, but when he played, he was. Brock Purdy is going to be very good.

[Mike Wright]

He's going to be interesting next year. He. His sample is not gigantic, but we've seen, and at least I think we've seen enough Brock Purdy of like that he's a good quarterback and he is one of the guys that, you know, is not the Super Scramblers that can still give us good fantasy value. Having said that, you have. It's all the other stuff around Brock Purdy that will be the issue because when he's with George Kittle, Brock Purdy dominates and he will probably not be Kittle next year.

[Andy Holloway]

Joe Burrow at 29 and 17. Inconsistency, seven in the second half. Great into the season. Everything you hope to see from Burrow, Chase Brown, Jamar Chase T. Higgins. The Joe Burrow story is the. You open the book, it's the same story. It's always the same story. If everybody stays healthy.

[Mike Wright]

I love that story.

[Andy Holloway]

If everybody. And they kept their head coach. Right. You don't have that very.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. Oh, I'm loving the story so far.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. But there's missing pages every year.

[Mike Wright]

No twists.

[Andy Holloway]

There's no pages.

[Mike Wright]

Chapter three through 12 were missing. We got to. We opened the book again. Chapter 13. It was pretty good through chapter 18. And then they didn't make the playoffs. There was no epilogue to read. I mean, it is great. It is. It's the perfect type for Mike Wright. I mean, there's no team that better defines Mike Wright's fantasy philosophy than Joe Burrow. T. Higgins and that team give me.

Players who I know, Chris McCaffrey, I know they're good.

They just need to get healthy.

Guys get hurt. But I want players that I know that they're good.

Ken walker always hurt. McCaffrey always hurt. I mean, this is. We know the secret now. Who can we find? Jaden Daniels. You got to Be in on Jaden.

Jaden Daniels is the last name worth talking about. A little surprising. He had zero percent good games. And you go, well, he was injured this year, but he played. He played enough games to where you.

He had an okay game against Chicago. Sure.

But I'm saying by our truth metrics, zero great games.

[Mike Wright]

Sure.

[Jason Moore]

You know, 22 points was his highest score of the year. That's not what we saw from rookie Jaden Daniel.

[Andy Holloway]

It was a. It's better on my emotions to just throw the year in the garbage can.

[Mike Wright]

And I think that's what you should do because you have week one. You go, oh, he's the quarterback.

[Andy Holloway]

14.

[Mike Wright]

He scored 20 points. Like, 20 points from your quarterback. That's fantastic.

[Andy Holloway]

Even if it's not everybody's healthy. And even if it's easier to finish lower. Right.

[Mike Wright]

But the point is 20 points. 19.7 against Green Bay, which you got. Or go in the time machine and be week two. When we were watching Green Bay, it was. Oh, that might be the best defense in football.

[Andy Holloway]

Yep.

And. And then he got hurt. So I. My philosophy with Jane Daniels is you throw it totally in the garbage, you.

Will have no Cliff Kingsbury.
