Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright.
Andy Holloway
Welcome in. Tuesday, May 12th. Welcome to Dynasty Week, the Fantasy Footballers Podcast. Mike the Fantasy Hitman, Jason Moore, I'm Andy Holloway. Hello.
Mike Wright
Hey, how's it going?
Jason Moore
What was that?
Mike Wright
I was saying hello.
Andy Holloway
Okay. Sounded like a grumpy neighbor. Hello. I mean, yeah, I guess that's where you're at. Welcome in. It is Dynasty Week, a special week of shows bending towards the Dynasty players out there. Today's a fun one because we're going to be doing trade for and trade away candidates and these. Look, it's specifically Dynasty trade for Dynasty, trade away. But you know, that works for a redraft, too, because these are players that you think you make the move now, you get the benefit now and into the future.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean, it's the outlook of NFL future. So for redraft, that still matters. This is whether or not we think the value is peaking, has peaked or is, you know, there's more to come from this player.
Mike Wright
Right.
Jason Moore
I mean, that's, that's, that's all we're.
Mike Wright
Is this sneaking?
Jason Moore
Sneaking or peeking?
Mike Wright
It's one of them.
Andy Holloway
Yep.
Mike Wright
That's hey, that's today's show.
Andy Holloway
We are going to do a little something fun for Dynasty week. We're going to give away a signed jersey this week. Assigned James Cook jersey. I don't know. Rank check. Where do you have James Five. James Cook at five? I think I have him at six.
Mike Wright
Hold on.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I've got him at six as well. So James Cook has been a dominator in fantasy. We got a signed James Cook jersey. We're going to give away anybody that has the UDK plus or the Ultimate Foot Clan membership. So basically access to the Dynasty Pass are automatically entered to win. We'll give it away after this week. You can learn more atultimatedraftkit.com for that quick question of the day to get us started. Chase writes in from X. I don't think it's Jamar Chase or Chase Brown, but what's the most common mistake you see Dynasty managers make that consistently cost them value over time?
Mike Wright
I will jump in and this one
Jason Moore
I'm laughing at. What has been added to your note in our doc.
Mike Wright
So in Dynasty, especially in the off season or the extended by week, there's not a lot of action going on. You wait if you get your rookie dress. So people like to trade. And you know what? It's very fun, the sending of the.
Andy Holloway
I like it.
Mike Wright
Sending the offer, an offer going through each thing you do, you get a little dopamine flows throughout the body. It's fun, it feels good. And yet over trading I had in the leagues.
Andy Holloway
Can it be done?
Mike Wright
Yes, it can. In the leagues I am in, I have seen the over traders get themselves. All of a sudden they're, you're like, whoa, you made like four awesome moves right there. But because they're over traders, they can't stop. They can't walk away from the table. They continue to trade and then they're back to their team just stinks. It's, it's an unfortunate balance of trading is super fun. But if you do it too much, you're you, you will overdo it and you'll just end up with nothing, that you'll have nothing.
Jason Moore
It takes, it takes a real man to look in the mirror and say, maybe I'm doing a little too much
Mike Wright
trading here because you can't, you cannot win every trade.
Jason Moore
Now wouldn't they have the argument that if you win 60% of the trades that you should trade a thousand times as opposed to maybe, you know, five times. But I will say that. I mean we've been in a lot of leagues the people that trade like crazy that are all like, every trade that goes through is this person. When you got one of them in the league, historically, it does not work out great for that person.
Andy Holloway
I think in Dynasty specifically, it is more of a risk because generally what gets trades across the finish line is draft capital. And so if you are trading so frequently that you're just throwing in an extra piece here, an extra piece there to get the trades across the finish line, you find yourself depleted later on in future seasons. I think that's a good one.
Jason Moore
For me, the mistake I see people making in dynasty leagues is always playing for the future, always worrying about the youth, the long term outlook, never realizing I'm in a championship window. I need to put myself over the top. I need to have a veteran. Like you've got to not just care so much that it's a dynasty league that you don't get to ever win a championship. Like you have to know when to go in and do that. That's not necessarily about, you know, what's costing you value over time. But in the end, the only thing that matters is do you win a championship? Right. Like that's it. How many championships have you won in your dynasty league? That's the question that matters.
Mike Wright
Two of the last three. Oh, I was not asking you. Oh, I'm sorry.
Jason Moore
So then we have the same amount of championships in our league. Got it.
Mike Wright
Two. Two of the last three. And one Jameer gives away from Champ. Champ. Champ. That made me sad.
Andy Holloway
I'm so happy they didn't.
Mike Wright
That made me sad. Yeah, that's a good.
Andy Holloway
Can I. I was thinking about this driving in. It kind of ties into what you're saying here on the winning now versus winning later. And I have a. I have a concept, a theory, a thought for dynasty leagues that I want to run by you. And whether you think it's stupid or not, I think running backs are more important to winning a championship and wide receivers are more important to being competitive long term.
Mike Wright
I think that's fair to say.
Jason Moore
I think that's right.
Andy Holloway
And I do think that ties into that question there, where sometimes you're going to make what might be a antithetical dynasty decision on a trade or a draft pick, a rookie pick because you need to play for today. And so I think that's the way it goes in dynasty. I think the running backs. Shorter window, but big impact. Especially when you think about the fact that the majority of your league is going to be focused on the longevity of the wide receiver position.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
So something to think about. My mistake that I wanted to bring up was just blindly following the consensus in rookie drafts versus your own opinions. Yes. Don't follow our opinions over your own opinions. Right. This show is not about blindly following what we say. It's. We're supposed to give you our perspectives, which we disagree with each other, then you make your own decision. I mean, you can go back to rookie draft after rookie draft, after rookie draft. Everyone drafts them in a certain order, and then you can look back with regret. I just pulled a random year because I just wanted to see what it was like 20, 22. This was a year where Breeze hall went number one, Drake London went number two, then Ken Walker, then Trailin Burks went number four. You had Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, George Pickens, the next three off the board. Sky Moore, couple picks ahead of James Cook in this draft. Right. So, you know, you kind of hit some of those. I'm sure we would, you know, put a lave up ahead of Trail and Burks and everyone else ahead of Trail and Burks, but I think it's okay. Like, one of the questions that's gotten a lot this year is like, oh, when I'm. When do I have permission to draft Jajarian Price? Right.
Mike Wright
That's the one.
Andy Holloway
I see them all. Do I have permission to take Jajarian Price over Makai lemon at 5? Permission? Like, you got permission. I think that's fine. I genuinely do. I think you can take the player you need to take that you have conviction about that you believe in, and just. You will have to absorb the arrows, the eyeballs from your league that just say you're an idiot. If you passed on Trailin Burks for James Cook, you would have been an idiot.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Right. At the time. The Dynasty world as a whole, there's a lot more room for stupidity as a perception, but the reality is much different. We have so many years of trades that you look at in the moment, and you're like, oh, my gosh, how do you do that? And it was better for the opposite person. So I don't know what that means. This is kind of. It kind of seems like there's a parallel there to the way that the good stock traders treat the market versus the.
Mike Wright
Well, they just buy like, you know, they're willing, not singular stocks. Can you do that?
Andy Holloway
Sure. That's a good point.
Mike Wright
I will trade James Cook for your Cincinnati wide receivers.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, that'd be nice to be able to take an entire collection, but no, the idea that you just have A little bit of discipline and strength in the midst of a negative environment because you believe in something. So plenty of other mistakes to make. Don't worry about that.
Jason Moore
It is really fun you brought up that draft from our league in 2022. It's really fun to go back and look at rookie drafts if you're in your.
Andy Holloway
It's just Najee Harris, number one, Jamar Chase, number two.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
That's the consensus, by the way. From 2021.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I mean, I'm just pulling up drafts and it's just. It's literally a good time. Go to your league right now. Go to your draft history and look at a couple of rookie drafts from. Because once you're three years past, you know the results.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
And you get to see all the stupid things we do.
Andy Holloway
2024, redraft 2024. You got Marv number one, neighbors two a dunes, a three, Brock Bowers, four, Jaden Daniels, eight.
Mike Wright
Yep.
Andy Holloway
So, yeah, there's.
Mike Wright
It happens.
Andy Holloway
Which, by the way, you can do this every year with the NFL draft, and it's insanely wrong. So just be willing to kind of go against the grain if you have conviction about a player for whatever reason. I really like Jadarian Price this year, and I'm totally fine taking him ahead of Makai Lemon based on team need, things like that.
Mike Wright
Would you do 102, though? Like, you're. So you're saying above Tate and Tyson.
Andy Holloway
Would I. Yeah, probably not.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Andy Holloway
I actually. I would probably take Tate no matter what ahead of him, but if I was a team that really needed a running back, I'm fine. If you want to take. You know, if you want to take him over Tyson, I think I'm okay with that. So, again, the feeling that you get coming from Jason right there is the feeling you'll get in your league. The little. I can't say anything.
Mike Wright
It doesn't help that the. I'll just. Jason and I like our scouting of the prospect Jadarian Price was not like, I loved that guy. Like, if we. If I saw Jonathan Taylor on the film and he goes at 32 to the Seahawks, like, yeah, no problem. Take him over the superstar wide receivers because that guy is going to be a superstar. It's just. It's very. With the production profile and just what it. It's very difficult to see Price for me, like, really going on that path to superstardom.
Andy Holloway
And you'll see in a year from now.
Mike Wright
Yep.
Andy Holloway
And you'll be like, oh, I remember that conversation. I was so wrong. And I Didn't win a championship this year in any of my leagues. I'm Mike. In a year from now, that's what you'll say.
Mike Wright
Oh, that's what.
Andy Holloway
That was my impression of you.
Mike Wright
In a year that's.
Andy Holloway
We've got to get him out of here. I'm praying Al has informed me we have a drop for Dynasty week.
Mike Wright
Yeah, we do.
Andy Holloway
Never hit it. Rules.
Jason Moore
Welcome to Dynasty week.
Mike Wright
Man, I get hyped.
Andy Holloway
I imagine that while we talked through those mistakes the Dynasty players made, nobody felt welcome to that point to Dynasty week. And I apologize for that. That drop was necessary to welcome you in now. You feel welcome.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
We did get a little bit of news. The jets signed Breeze hall to a three year 45.
Mike Wright
Speaking of dynasty, checking in with Jason Breeze hall manager for Dino Senior. Jay, how are you feeling?
Jason Moore
I'm feeling super sucky. This is the first time ever, first time ever where my running back signs an extension and I'm disappointed. Yeah, you know, it's like for Dynasty, that is the value we talk about all the time. It's not even age at the running back. It's like the contracts. So long as he's got 29 guaranteed and it's, it's wonderful.
Andy Holloway
$45 million highest paid running backs on average salary. Saquon CMC Bariste.
Jason Moore
I mean I'm super happy for the man who said he cried when he signed it. You know, he's gone through a lot with the ACL tear and here he
Mike Wright
is signing because he knew he was trading. Yeah, he success for money.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he said he was. They were happy tears. But we know, we know you're like
Andy Holloway
ah, man, years of acceptance.
Mike Wright
It's the. Hey, me, me and Garrett, we're going to be just making it rain, but we will never win a Super Bowl.
Andy Holloway
I brought up the stinky teams. They've done some stuff to the offensive line here that I'm encouraged about in New York for Breeze Hall. He's managed to be productive for fantasy in spite of his surroundings.
Jason Moore
I mean they have.
Andy Holloway
I know Jason believes club next a future mvp.
Jason Moore
They have so many talented skill position players now that if you, if you bring a quarterback in here, they should be able to move the ball.
Mike Wright
We got to get Dante Moore there. So all my Dante Moore cards are still okay. The same color.
Andy Holloway
Okay. The Charger, is that an Oregon?
Mike Wright
Dante Moore is close enough.
Andy Holloway
Okay. The Chargers are signing David Najoku to a one year deal worth up to $8 million. They also signed Charlie Kohler to a three year deal on free agency.
Mike Wright
Kohler is the blocker.
Andy Holloway
Yes. But takes up a spot and Najoku, it's.
Mike Wright
It's weird how to do this because the initial. My initial reaction is, well, there we go. This dude's a stud. Sorry. Gadsden and the Gadsden Truthers. That was a nice month we had last year. That was my initial thought.
Andy Holloway
And then, and then you're just waiting more of like Fanon succeeded on the same field with Najoku.
Mike Wright
Well, and Phantom was better. Phantom was better. Najoku had to wait until May to get a one year deal.
Andy Holloway
He's at the tail end.
Mike Wright
It's just it. There's. If you're on team Gadsden, I wouldn't abandon all hope yet. There's. There's a chance that then Nijoku is about to be washed.
Jason Moore
Nijoku turns 30 any minute now.
Andy Holloway
He's not washed.
Jason Moore
I don't, I don't think he's washed.
Mike Wright
Like his physique, but he's play certainly
Jason Moore
impacts Gadsden on a redraft level. Like I had Gadsden as one of my number one tight end targets later in the draft.
Andy Holloway
I mean, he would have been a breakout for us, guaranteed in the UDK without Najoku getting signed.
Jason Moore
But now it's like, who is the higher targeted tight end on this team, Najoku or Gadsden in 2026, I actually
Andy Holloway
have Gadsden with more targets than Najoku. I just think it's a, it's a ceiling wrecker for Gadsden.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
And they have other weapons there. They're going to run the ball more successfully this year. I was already going out on a limb that Gadsden would be able to like. The thing about Najoku coming in is he is an. Like, he is a good tight end with a ton of experience. Gadsden is a young tight end with not a lot of experience. And I feel like the way this team, the little things are going to matter and I feel like Nijoku is going to do those things on a week in and week out basis. I think that was part of why Najee got brought in. Last year. It was the exact same type of signing. Now Najee went down with a major injury, but I think that's what you would have seen through the year is a little bit more trust on the veterans because they do the little things even when we want to see the young guy flourish. And that's my concern about Gadsden.
Mike Wright
And also the other part of that equation with the Chargers is for the wide receivers. They are clearly the Chargers are loading up here and we're going to see you know, a lot of like the later end of Miami where it's a lot of tight ends on the field because they have great wide receivers or yeah, they're pretty good. I will call them pretty good but very interesting players and we'll more than likely you're only going to see two of them on the field for a more snaps than the average of the NFL. So it's. How do you us figuring out who those two guys are going to be over the course of training camp?
Andy Holloway
I mean automatically talking about the whiteouts or the tight ends.
Mike Wright
No, the wideouts. And it's like yeah, well it's going to be huge and it's going to be LAD probably. But I don't know. I don't know that that's a definite answer.
Andy Holloway
Well, what's the other name?
Mike Wright
Well, Trey Harris.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I mean that doesn't. You're not taking LAD off the field for Trey Harris very often but if
Mike Wright
you're talking two outside wide receivers, maybe they come in and they like Harris on the outside better and then. And Brendan Thompson will be worked in as the their speedster. They quote whatever the guy who looks like Tyree kill, he's just 20 pounds lighter. Lighter than Tyree Kill.
Jason Moore
The Keenan will show up right. Right after training camp.
Andy Holloway
Juwan Jennings, one year deal with the Vikings worth up to $13 million. Took him a while to sign. 8 million in base salary added. You know, this is, this is good for Whoever great for JJ McCarthy in Minnesota. There you go. I don't really, I mean it doesn't change my opinion of Jefferson. It doesn't really change my opinion of addison. They've had K.J. osborne there before. Have you know, make significant contributions. When both those guys are there to me this is their. You know, they brought Adam Thielen back for a small amount of time. It's a good third receiver to add to this team. And considering that Hawkinson isn't Hawkinson anymore.
Jason Moore
Correct.
Andy Holloway
Like Hawkinson used to represent a ton of volume in the offense. I think he does not anymore. So you know, I. I don't know if Jennings like this signing kind of means as dumb as that is.
Mike Wright
I think it's great for Minnesota.
Jason Moore
Yeah, it's good for the team. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
And speaking of J.J. mcCarthy, I guess we're reporting that Tom Palacero, Mike's favorite guy, KJ or JJ McCarthy and Kyler Murray will compete for the starting job this summer, Holloway is reporting Kyler will then win that job.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Because the team wants to win games.
Mike Wright
It is the most likely thing. But how hilarious. How hilarious would it be?
Andy Holloway
I mean, Mike is rooting for the hilarity of it.
Mike Wright
I am. Well, because it's also better For Minnesota if JJ McCarthy truly wins the job.
Andy Holloway
It is.
Mike Wright
And they're like something clicked. He's. He's the guy we thought he was going to be when we took him in the first round. And then you have your future as opposed to Kyler where it's your team. Your. Minnesota will be better with Kyler. They'll probably make the playoffs. But what they win with him, I don't know which. As in a Super bowl.
Andy Holloway
If I told you they're changing quarterbacks after week five, what order is the best?
Mike Wright
Oh, for who? For who's for fantasy.
Andy Holloway
The order would sure.
Mike Wright
For fantasy. Starting McCarthy and then putting Murray and I think is better for fantasy.
Jason Moore
I would agree with that. I also think that's better for the Vikings as well a franchise. Because if. If kyler starts week one, that means that McCarthy did not win the job.
Mike Wright
Right.
Jason Moore
And if he doesn't win the job, just out the gates, you know, it's not going to go well.
Andy Holloway
It is a. It's a wild one because like. Like you said, it would be hilarious. And McCarthy won. But then he's got to go win games.
Mike Wright
Yep.
Andy Holloway
Which he did not look like he knew how to do very much last year.
Jason Moore
Now that Kyler is free of the Cardinals, I do expect a Super Bowl.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I mean this is. We. I think you were out on the show that we.
Jason Moore
Yes, he was.
Andy Holloway
We debated Kyler a lot because we did a bunch of rank check stuff and I have Kyler fairly low. Like, I think he's good for the team, but I don't think he's going to produce like old Kyler at all. I think he's going to be more of a manager that has some success. And I just. For me, I was trying to point out to Jason how long we've watched a bad Kyler. We've watched a pretty bad player for quite a while. I don't know what side where he ended up in your rankings.
Mike Wright
He. I think I have him pretty close to his adp, which is. I would have to pull that up now. Talking to me while my arms are falling.
Andy Holloway
Why are you closing your rankings? Why are you closing? You got tabs, man. I gotta use tabs.
Mike Wright
I got things to do over here, man.
Andy Holloway
What do you watch Netflix, keep your rankings up.
Mike Wright
I got to catch up.
Andy Holloway
I got to check on them.
Mike Wright
You guys are always like, have you seen how far this show is? I'm like, I haven't started it yet.
Andy Holloway
Also another I have another hot tip. You say stuff while you're looking and you don't even tell people you're looking. You just go like, yeah. I'll tell you what I like about that Kyler Murray, by the way. You remember that one game where he threw that Hail Mary boom, boom, boom. And then you got him.
Mike Wright
I got him at 15.
Andy Holloway
Jason has him at like 10. I got him at like 20. So yeah, that's about right for Kyler.
Jason Moore
10 20.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. No one knows really what's going to happen. We're going to take a break and then we're going to talk some trades.
Jason Moore

Jason Moore
Let's talk Trades.
Andy Holloway
One trade for candidate for Dynasty Managers One trade away candidate for Dynasty Managers from each of us right before we recorded this show, we had spent some concerted time attempting to come together and find some consensus sleepers, breakouts, busts and values for the udk, as we do every year. We did get, you know, get some names out there guys that we agree on completely. But I think for maybe, I think the first time in a while, like we had some pretty drastically different opinions. Like it wasn't like, hey, I'm high on this guy and I'm neutral. I was like, I'm high on him and I'm super low on him. So it'll be interesting because I think some of the names that we bring up today, we have differing opinions. Who wants to go first on the Trade 4 candidate?
Jason Moore
I'll kick it off because we kind of mentioned him earlier this episode already. The trade four candidate that I like, I think he is not valued in this moment. Where he should be valued is Harold Fannin Jr. Tight end for the Cleveland Browns who was absolutely awesome last year. Harold Fannin Jr. He was this collegiate athlete that he didn't play at the biggest program, had a lot of production, didn't blow you away on film, but had so much work in the passing game, broke so many tackles. It just kind of, it always worked for him. And you know, I said last year, I'm going to, I'm going to bet on it working because I just really believed in him. Then he comes to the NFL. He's playing behind David Najoku and he is awesome. He's way better than David Najoku. He was statistically better than Tyler Warren, better than Loveland. Like, his rookie season was awesome. He was the tight end five last year with Shador Sanders. And in this moment, I think that people are not very high on him because you just had the Browns spend, you know, two top 40 picks on wide receivers. So you're like, oh no, now he's, now he's losing out all that. But, but the wide receivers aren't really competing with Fan. And I don't believe for, you know, for the targets in the same area of the field, not to the degree that David Ajoku was, you know, losing to Joku and gaining rookie wide receivers to me, allows Fannin to lead this team in targets. He might not, but he certainly has a path where he could. I expect Fannin to be very, very involved. I expect him to lead this team in targets and where he's going in drafts. I mean, you think about when you have a young stud tight end, they are so valuable in dynasty. You can't pry a Brock Bowers from the cold, dead hands of the manager who has him. That's impossible right now.
Andy Holloway
Loveland and Warren Rigamortis. That's why.
Jason Moore
Yeah, yeah, that is, that is why. Has nothing to do with Fannin. You know, Warren and Loveland. You just. There's. There's no way you're getting these guys in a dynasty league. But, but Fannin's available. If you just look at like startup adp, you're looking at like, obviously, you know, brock in the first and McBride in the second, Warren in the third, late fifth is like where Fannin is going right now. And I think you can. I think you can get a hold of him. I think people are willing to trade him away. And he is so young. This. I mean, he's so young that he had the most.
Mike Wright
How young is he?
Andy Holloway
Hit me the same way.
Jason Moore
My point was I was throwing this stat out to give you an example of how young he is. He had the most receptions ever for a tight end before turning 22. He is a baby boy. He's going to be good for a long time. Is the quarterback situation great? No. Did they just bring in two wide receivers? Yes, but these are the reasons why you can acquire Fannin. If Fannin is just that dude and they figure out a quarterback, maybe not this year, maybe next year, but you're going to have six plus years of Fan and being very relevant for fantasy.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I feel like maybe we. I don't think we hold the quarterback situation to so much scrutiny when it's the tight ends. I feel like you look at conception in Boston and you want to see them have a breakout year. Maybe that's not in the cards because you don't believe in Chador. But like last year, in a year where Fan and had success, it was a lot of Dylan Gabriel. Right. And you had some Joe Flacco mixed in and then you had Shador Sanders, the Pro Bowler and you know, Jerry Judy was still out there soaking up targets and he's still on this team. So. And Najoku was there. So. Yeah, I Think Fan and I think the most compelling thing is just how much room there is for him to grow and how much time you'll probably get in productivity for a dynasty roster.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Whenever you've got someone that young who is productive in college, who comes to the NFL and at that age is that productive in the NFL. He's good. Just bet on the talent, the longevity of the Browns and what the situation is around him. That's going to change. But he is super talented.
Andy Holloway
Would you rather have Loveland and Warren?
Jason Moore
I think I would rather have Loveland and Warren, yes. But you can't really trade for those guys. And I think that Fanon could be completely. At the end of the year, I think he's more.
Mike Wright
I'm with you. That you can acquire Fan and.
Jason Moore
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Andy Holloway
I mean, I guess I was even thinking, like, if you.
Jason Moore
I think at the end of the year, it is not impossible.
Andy Holloway
Would you trade Warren?
Mike Wright
Sure.
Jason Moore
Like Warren for Fannin and a first next year, right? I would do that, yeah.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Okay. Mike, do you want to tell us who you're trading for? Are we going. We're going all three, trade four.
Mike Wright
You tell me what's the rules?
Andy Holloway
Who's hosting this show?
Mike Wright
I'm going to go with my trade away.
Andy Holloway
Oh, are you?
Mike Wright
All right. Well, I don't want it to just be like the end of the show is just this guy stinks.
Andy Holloway
I like it.
Mike Wright
All right, my trade away. He doesn't stink. But we're playing dynasty football or dynasty fantasy football. I'm going DJ Moore, new wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills, as my tradeaway candidate. He's 29. He's entering year nine.
Jason Moore
This is such a good call, Mike.
Mike Wright
And he. Look here.
Andy Holloway
Since when is it worth trading away like a veteran star that went to Buffalo to acquire something better?
Mike Wright
Exactly. That's. It's shout out Amari Cooper, you got me everything. This is not the. Like DJ Moore. I will be productive on this team. Like, he will.
Andy Holloway
He helps the Bills.
Mike Wright
He will give you fantasy points. This year, it's just about his. What will he actually give you versus what someone in your league is going to believe about him. He's on the Buffalo Bills. You know, it's like guys go to the Bills or the Chiefs and we still automatically launch them to the moon for fantasy purposes. Even though, you know, we've been disappointed far more than we have hit on guys like Rasheed Rice, but. So in 2024, Allen became the first top five fantasy quarterback without a top 36 scoring wide receiver. You feel like, well, DJ Moore can come in and do that. Sure, he can be in the top 36, but the point is Josh Allen gets things done without having to hyper focus on a single target. In 2025, DJ Moore set career lows in a number of categories. We're talking receptions, receiving yards, yards per route, run down at 1.33 and forced missed tackles. DJ Moore, the elusive, very slippery, like, makes things happen with the ball in his hands. He forced four missed tackles. Like the yards after contact, it has just, it was not there this past year. So I'm on the side of. I don't think it automatically bounces back for DJ Moore. I think that last year was more of an indication that we're coming to the end, you know, like wide receivers. As I said, the age, he's at that age too, where things can go south real, real fast.
Andy Holloway
And it's.
Mike Wright
He's 29, he's changing locations. We've looked at fantasy players who have changed teams in year nine. There is one hit like guys, it didn't work. Randall Cobb, Marvin Jones, Alan Robinson, Beckham Cooper cup, the one hit, Devonte Adams. You don't want to know why 180 targets. I'm not expecting 180 targets to come through here for DJ Moore. So if I can trade him away and get, and start getting ready for the future, I would rather do that.
Jason Moore
You have to.
Mike Wright
Than have him expiring on my team.
Jason Moore
I feel like if you have DJ Moore, you have to be trying to trade him away. Imagine what happened before this Bill's trade. You have a 29 year old wide receiver who looks like he's done it, going to give you nothing. You couldn't get any value for him. The trade to Buffalo is like, oh
Mike Wright
my gosh, yeah, the window I got,
Jason Moore
I, I hit the jackpot. Not because you get that version of DJ Moore, but because now you can, now you can actually sell him and cash in, get some, get some youth there. Because I don't think this is a, I don't think he's going to be bad on Buffalo, but he's not going to be pushing someone over the top to a championship right now.
Andy Holloway
I mean the one guy that succeeded in that transfer was a true alpha number one that hadn't ever left that, you know, being that for his franchise. DJ Moore has made the migration from the focal point of offenses to an ancillary piece of offenses in the last handful of years being used in the backfield. I don't know why, like, why is he not used downfield that much. He ends up making these big downfield plays, but it's not that much. Not like it used to be in Carolina. He's definitely gone to this place of like, I'm a piece of the offense. I'm not the whole offense. But you could make the argument that because the names in Buffalo are so bad around him that you can be like, he's just the one. And he's not.
Jason Moore
He's the one.
Mike Wright
They only added Skyler Bell in, in the fourth round. So it's like he is. He should be the de facto number one wide receiver. But what does that, does that even get you into the top 20? I don't think it will.
Andy Holloway
I mean, the worst case scenario when you trade DJ Moore is that he has a pretty good year and then stinks next year, right?
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
I mean, that's kind of the worst case scenario.
Jason Moore
You're near the beginning of the end. If you can get a 27 first for DJ Moore.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
If you can find someone to give that up, thinking they've got a superstar with Josh Allen, I would pull the trigger.
Andy Holloway
My trade for candidate, okay, is going to be Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, the horse boy. The time is now. Last year, I mean, sometimes you have to just go back and read the full stat line of the previous year to reset what they accomplished. Jason obviously didn't do that with. Otherwise he wouldn't have ranked him the way he did. But Trevor Lawrence had 4,000 yards, 29 touchdowns and nine rushing touchdowns last year on this team because he's a horse. He's out of the stables. Quarterbacks with 4,000 passing yards, 29 touchdowns and nine rushing touchdowns in the same year. It's only been two. Josh Allen in 2023 and Trevor Lawrence last year. He became a true goal line runner. This team keeps acquiring additional running back pieces that aren't quite everything. Chris Rodriguez, Bashal Tutin. Now they added Amir Abdullah. Trevor Lawrence's role around the goal line. I think they learned something last year. I love Liam Cohen's offense and if you look at him as a passer, he still has room to take another step. I think there's going to be a lot of opinions, I think Mike has some of them, that what they accomplished last year is going to be tough to repeat. I love the weapons that they have. His yards per pass attempt was in line with his career average. That wasn't a weird outlier. His touchdown rate was 5.2%. That wasn't crazy. Slightly above league average. He threw 12 interceptions that was the fifth most in the league. He could improve that by one or two at least. And 8.6% of his passes were dropped. The whole story of Brian Thomas Jr. Was how incompetent he was. It wasn't Lawrence's incompetence that made Brian Thomas Jr. Bad. It was that BTJ literally dropped the ball. That is the highest rate over the last four years in terms of percentage of passes dropped. And he put up a season, the kind of season he just had. They lost Travis Hunter through the year, which I don't know if you've seen the most recent interview with their general manager.
Mike Wright
I did. It's still.
Andy Holloway
And he came out and he said,
Mike Wright
I still hear what I'm hearing.
Andy Holloway
He came out and said he's going to be used on offense.
Mike Wright
Yes. That was. Again, that's never the question. It was, but then he's like, I think that what will change is the uptick at cornerback.
Andy Holloway
Right? He will play cornerback.
Mike Wright
An uptick at cornerback to me means a downtick.
Andy Holloway
Well, they tried to ask him that directly and he said, no, it doesn't mean that at all. So whether he's lying or not, we'll see. But Parker Washington emerged over the back half of the year. Britton Strange was hurt for half of the year. This offense with and because of the evolution of Trevor Lawrence and because of Liam Cohen's presence, to me, it checks tons of boxes for your Dynasty league. Young quarterback in his prime runs the football on a good offense. Best play caller and probably being undervalued in trade circles because there are younger, sexier names. And Trevor Lawrence, we've been around the block and been annoyed for so long in Dynasty, you have to make the choice now in Dynasty, whether you believe he's leveled up and his situation is great. I believe he's made that change. I think you can get him cheaper than you normally could get a QB that I think is a top six Dynasty qb.
Mike Wright
I'm not as bullish as you are, but I'm like, if I had to make a choice, I'd say I'm more on your side of it. I factor Baker Mayfield's two years ago when he was with Cohen. I take that as like, part of the sample size for Trevor Lawrence of how all of a sudden Baker's like, got all these rushing touchdowns. All of a sudden Trevor Lawrence has all these rushing touchdowns and they're just having, you know, their best year with. With this guy. And it was only his first year in the system.
Andy Holloway
Didn't leave Lawrence like, he left Baker, right.
Mike Wright
It took till the second part of the year, but it. In the second half, it really started coming together for. For the horse boy and the Jaguars. So I, I do find myself open to the idea that Trevor Lawrence is a decent target. And man, I was looking at guys, the quarterbacks, which. This is an indictment of ourselves as well. They're getting old for NFL years. I mean, Allen is 30. Lamar is going to be 30. Mahomes is 30, Herbert is 28. Joe Burrow is going to be 30.
Jason Moore
We got the new breed coming along.
Andy Holloway
They need to.
Mike Wright
They need to get it going. Because when I saw how many of our dudes are starting.
Andy Holloway
30 is okay.
Jason Moore
30 is 30.
Andy Holloway
You got four or five easy good years left.
Jason Moore
You hope so. But here's what's crazy.
Mike Wright
Don't be influenced by Tom Brady.
Andy Holloway
No, I'm not influenced by him, but
Jason Moore
like, I just saw a list of the current age of all the starting quarterbacks, and it was pretty wild because you had stafford at like 38. Okay. And then it was like a gap where it's like Geno and then dak as like 33. And there's not a lot of guys playing at 35 years old.
Mike Wright
That's what I'm saying. It's more uncommon for you to be at in your mid-30s and still slinging real good fancy.
Andy Holloway
Am I too biased by the breeze and Manning and Brady and those guys?
Jason Moore
I don't.
Andy Holloway
The hall of Famers, Rogers and.
Mike Wright
I mean, it's like, well, you know, Alan. Alan's probably a Hall of Famer. Mahomes, I mean, certainly it's like, is Burrow and Lamar, Are they on the trajectory they're on?
Andy Holloway
I mean, Lamar certainly. Yeah, Lamar is. I don't think. I don't know if Burrow is.
Mike Wright
I mean, Burrows at least gotten to a Super Bowl.
Andy Holloway
I mean, Lamar has two mvp. I mean, I think Lamar's on the way. I. I don't know about Burrow, but Burrows also played half the games of these other guys at 30.
Mike Wright
So.
Andy Holloway
No, I think Lawrence, it's time to have the conversation and enjoy hopefully what we wanted for so many years of undeveloped Trevor Lawrence. So we'll take a break. Jason knew I was going to take a break. He didn't want to talk and have me cut him off, so.
Jason Moore
Not today, Satan.
Andy Holloway
We'll turn it over to him in just a minute.
Mike Wright

Andy Holloway
All right, we are in the middle of Dynasty week talking about trade foreign trade away candidates for dynasty leagues. And Jason, you Are up.
Jason Moore
I have a trade away candidate of a guy I love. He is a.
Andy Holloway
Prove it.
Jason Moore
He's a 25 year old wide receiver who is good sir. Who is just a top five. What are you doing?
Andy Holloway
You didn't know this name was in there when I.
Mike Wright
No, I did not.
Andy Holloway
I saw it. I thought of Mike and how you were going to have a problem.
Jason Moore
Well, let me talk to you here, Mike.
Andy Holloway
You're not going to convince him.
Jason Moore
That's fine. But the reason that I am wanting to trade this guy away is because
Mike Wright
I think you haven't even said him.
Jason Moore
He is. He has peaked his best year of fantasy of all time and he's still young. Was last year and it was a my guy. For me it was George pickens just
Mike Wright
turned 25 year old. George.
Jason Moore
That's the point.
Andy Holloway
I'm not was with a capital W. Yeah.
Jason Moore
I mean look, obviously you know who we want to trade away is every aging wide receiver before the. The floor falls out from under them. I don't. You know, those are. Those are a little bit easier to see coming with George Pickens. What I care about here is last year was really, really, really inflated by the four week stretch that CD Lamb missed. CD Lamb missed three games and really four because he played 9% of snaps in one of them. In those games he was the wide receiver 16, the wide receiver 2, the wide receiver 19 and the wide receiver 1 and was just wrecking everybody. Those numbers really helped him have an outrageously high fantasy finish.
Mike Wright
What about when he was the wise? You were three four and 17 and three weeks in a row. CD lamp on the field.
Jason Moore
If you want to. If you want to look now. Keep going. What about the other weeks where he. Where everybody thought that the floor had fallen out and he was.
Mike Wright
Yes. Yeah. 39, 63 bad weeks.
Jason Moore
Look, while the player is good. The reason that I'm using him as a tradeaway candidate is simply because he carries so much value right now. He's going to be really good for fantasy this year. And he's 25 years old but he's probably playing for another team. I mean maybe they sign him to a long term deal, but he's on a franchise tag right now. Right. So first of all, I don't think he repeats last year's success.
Andy Holloway
CD Lamb on those other teams he's going to get is seeing them on the other franchises.
Jason Moore
How was he for Pittsburgh because yeah, he was the wide receiver five this last year.
Mike Wright
Different man.
Jason Moore
No, I'm just saying you don't know that it's going to be a good team that he goes to. And we've seen so many examples of the big free agent change at wide receiver not really working out when they get to another team. There's a reason I love him as a cowboy. There was a reason he was a my guy last year because he fits Dak perfectly. And should he sign a long term deal here, which I think people trying to trade for George Pickens would really, really love, that'd be great.
Mike Wright
But I mean, it's tough. I don't know how the money works.
Jason Moore
The previous three years. Is the wide receiver 36, 26, 41? Yes. He's young. Yes. He was the wide receiver five. I think that is the best season he'll ever have and I think you can get an absolute haul for him.
Andy Holloway
He. I think that's what it comes down to and I don't know, it's just value, what that translates to.
Jason Moore
I am not. Yeah. I'm not saying get of George Pickens. He's awesome. I'm saying get as much as you can for George Pickens.
Mike Wright
He's in a weird spot though, of
Andy Holloway
the one year deal makes him tough.
Mike Wright
You're. Well, I'm saying you're not going to be able to take George Pickens and then get one of the. You're not getting like, you're not getting Jamar. You're not getting. You might be able to get London. There's.
Andy Holloway
I think there's a chance.
Mike Wright
But that's what you're not taking George without. Without adding a ton to move into the category of the Jamars. That's. That's almost an impossible place to get dynasty trades. So it's. You're almost certainly trading down a tier.
Jason Moore
I actually think you can. There are the names he was just mentioning. I think you can trade George Pickens plus a little bit into a Tet. McMillan into a Drake. London. I would much rather have those two. We were much, much rather.
Mike Wright
You were talking Carolina where we have a very strong difference of opinion of the panthers and Tedro McMillan's outlook.
Jason Moore
Yeah. So I mean, I would rather have. I would rather have London by wide margins and I don't think the. You have to pay that large of
Andy Holloway
a margin to probably get a Mecca, George.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I think you could get a Mecca for Sherry.
Andy Holloway
That would be the.
Mike Wright
That's a scary trade.
Jason Moore
I would do that. And you might be able to, you know, an injured neighbors. If you had a first. You've got a young wide receiver and a first. Maybe you can maybe you could squeeze
Andy Holloway
something like that out, potentially do that.
Jason Moore
And so that's where I'm saying I'm only selling him if I can really capitalize on the value. Because I don't think, I don't think he's a top 10 wide receiver again ever in fantasy.
Mike Wright
Oh, okay.
Andy Holloway
Where do you have him ranked for 2026 right now?
Jason Moore
No, I'm kidding. Don't ask me about my ranking. I have him ranked 16. Wide receiver 16.
Andy Holloway
Mike has a 1664 digit password. He has to type every time.
Mike Wright
I have to forget password.
Andy Holloway
I have him at.
Mike Wright
I have him at 18, but George. But it's got him at nine. See that, that's the thing is numerically, yeah, he's wide receiver 18. But like in terms of points, how far he is off of that, it's not, it's not a massive gap. And he will give you so many spike weeks. He will give you spikes. He will have time where he will disappear and CD Lamb will go. But they're going to have games where George will go and CD will disappear. And I think it balances out. I still prefer CD Lamb, but I don't know by how much I mean
Jason Moore
in the games with CD Lamb, he averaged 12.4 fantasy points per game, which is good. That is not great. 21.2 fantasy points in those games without him.
Andy Holloway
What did CD Lamb average with George Pickens?
Jason Moore
I don't have that data in front of me.
Andy Holloway
You're supposed to have all data in front of you. What did I just tell you about?
Jason Moore
I'm looking for my past.
Andy Holloway
When I ask you something, you have to know it immediately.
Mike Wright
He. CD Lamb started very strong. Well, it took George a little bit of time, but then he got hurt. It's. We don't really have, I think a good enough sample of those two to know what's really going to happen.
Andy Holloway
I think Pickens did some things last year that Lamb doesn't do well.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
And I think, I think Lamb utilization wise, it's going to be very interesting.
Mike Wright
I think both George and CD this year, assuming there's no weird off season stuff because of the franchise. That still does concern me. But if we go in easily could both be in the top 12.
Andy Holloway
Mike, you get to say, did you figure that number out?
Jason Moore
Looks like it was 13 and a half fantasy points per game from week seven through 17. That's the easiest way I can see for CD yeah, I mean that that
Andy Holloway
takes away his 12.5 to 13 by four.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I mean that makes sense.
Jason Moore
It's tough because I'm not including the first two games where he averaged 15 fantasy points in those games. It's just. It's hard to do here on the fly.
Mike Wright
Yes. Okay. All right. My trade for it's another Jacksonville Jaguar. I'm in on Bayshaw Tootin. Thank you, Jason.
Jason Moore
You're welcome.
Mike Wright
And it's why I think he's a good trade for candidate is because there still is. The ground is shaky. This is not a firm foundation where you're like, yep, everyone knows it's going to be Tudin because Crot is still there. They brought him in a decent running back.
Andy Holloway
He just got there.
Mike Wright
Yes. A decent running back from Washington could be the goal line running back. We don't know.
Jason Moore
But here, like Chris Rodriguez.
Mike Wright
Yes. Crud.
Andy Holloway
And they just signed Amir Abdullah this morning.
Mike Wright
Oh, man. Sneaky Abdullah.
Andy Holloway
He is a little sneaky. He's annoyingly.
Jason Moore
Did they really sign a miracle.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Football.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Sneaky son of a gun. He has a great career.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
He's played for so long.
Andy Holloway
He's got like when the medical benefits and the like pension stuff.
Mike Wright
Oh, he's gonna be doing great.
Andy Holloway
He's loaded.
Mike Wright
He outlasted David Johnson by a lot.
Andy Holloway
By a lot.
Mike Wright
NFL is wild.
Andy Holloway
Low reps helps.
Jason Moore
He's going into his 12th season at running back. What?
Mike Wright
Yeah, baby.
Andy Holloway
He's going into season 12 express. I mean, Abdullah was basically the. His drafting that year was the beginning of the show.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Oh, man.
Mike Wright
Yeah, that's true. So fun fact.
Andy Holloway
We used to have Abdullah Express mini posters.
Mike Wright
Oh, man, it was. It was almost great. So he did not see a ton of work. You know, you had talking about Tootin.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Mike Wright
Back to Bashful Tootin. You had Travis H.N. jr. There as the primary guy. But in terms of actual efficiency among the 55 qualified running guys, baseball Tootin was fifth in rush success rate, fifth in percent of yards after contact, and he was tied with Breeze hall for 11th. Enforced missed tackle rate. As in, yeah, it's a low volume, but he was very efficient. He was very good with it. He was awesome inside the five. So like you can look at Tutin's yards per carry and say, oh, it's a little bit lower. Seven of his carries were inside the five and five of those turned into touchdowns. Maybe that's a little scary for regression of he was too successful. But I think combining everything that we have seen Bash Altoon do, it's this looks like this is a solid running back. But he was drafted in the fourth round and so just how Good. He was. And then the competition crud, AKA Chris Rodriguez, when if you're talking receptions, three seasons of the NFL, he has six receptions. Talking about crowd like, I don't think we have to.
Jason Moore
That would be Laquin Allen as the pass catcher.
Andy Holloway
I mean, I think, I think what I saw on the field last year that I liked the most was Tootin's receiving. That's what I actually like. My biggest concern is speaking from somebody not making him a trade for candidate, my biggest concern is that he's not really going to be able to handle being the dude and that this team and the addition of Abdullah even solidifying like, hey, we're going to just do this by committee and you know, 300 rushing yards as a rookie. Maybe they're not going to give him
Mike Wright
that opportunity and that. Absolutely.
Andy Holloway
I'm not saying I think that's going to happen. I just don't know.
Mike Wright
No, you are right. Which is why you can possibly trade for him. Because if no one thought that then baseball Tootin would be on a rocket ship for his fantasy for his dynasty rankings. And you still have to be hesitant. Even I am. But the body of work, what we saw with the opportunity in front of him and the players who are behind him, it seems like he will be the main guy in a very high scoring offense as we're projecting for the Jaguars. So I think it's worth a shot. I'm not overpaying, but I'm. I'm trying to get him on my team.
Andy Holloway
Is it my turn?
Mike Wright
It is.
Andy Holloway
So I have to be negative now.
Mike Wright
Yeah, but you were just positive.
Andy Holloway
I was, yeah. And look, we've actually talked about this in the studio quite a bit. I don't know if you guys knew this was the name that I was bringing up on today's show.
Mike Wright
It better not be George Pickens.
Andy Holloway
It's Devonte Adams.
Mike Wright
Okay, that's fine. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
It is time to cash out for whatever they're going to give you.
Mike Wright
Jason, two of these three guys are on our Dino junior team.
Jason Moore
Well, let's take the advice and try to make some moves.
Andy Holloway
This is too late.
Mike Wright
We've already told everyone we've got.
Jason Moore
We got until the episode releases in the morning. Mike, let's get to work.
Andy Holloway
The Devonte. I'm so out on Devonte Adams.
Mike Wright
You are, you are, you are.
Jason Moore
I think your quote off air earlier.
Mike Wright
That guy stinks.
Jason Moore
It's not the beginning. I was like, so you think this is going to be the beginning of the end? And you're like, no, last Year was the beginning of the end. This year's like last year.
Andy Holloway
You had, you had the touchdown insanity which I mean look, this was the best season anybody's ever had inside the five yard line as a wide receiver. I don't want to take anything away from what he was able to accomplish there. 14 touchdowns is insane.
Jason Moore
And he missed two games.

Let's be clear, that was the season for Devonte Adams. He had three 60. Yeah, he missed three games. He had 60 total receptions for this team in 789 yards. This team seemed primed and ready to trade him away if a good offer came. They're in the same boat dynasty managers are. You should cash in on a Devonte Adams 14 touchdown season because he is 33.3 years old. That is a big deal. Players, they decline. We had a whole dynasty life cycle article by Marv Marvin Eloquen on our site that talked about. Look, the biggest decline in fantasy point production came from age 32 to 33. 30% decline in points per game. Looking at Demaryius Thomas and A.J. green and Julio Jones and Brandon Marshall and it doesn't matter the name, time catches up. That's why this team was ready to make moves in other directions this offseason if they needed to. Because two things, you don't get better with age but you do get more injured more often and Adams has dealt with that as well. So you've got injury risk. I would bet my life he doesn't score 14 times again. And I highly doubt that he's going to go way, way higher in the total yardage total getting a year older when historically that doesn't generally happen. This is the second fewest yards ever for a 14 touchdown season. So shout out to the James Jones 2012 season. Oh yeah, 14 touchdowns with I mean you had an MVP season from your quarterback, right?
Jason Moore
That the last four, the last four years of Matthew Stafford on the Rams 3.3% touchdown rate. 4.6, 3.9, 7.7. I mean we, that's not, it's not happening again. And we see this, we have so much data on this great all time quarterbacks, Brady Manning, breeze. This happens to all of them. They have these outlier crazy touchdown rate years and they don't keep doing it the next year. So I actually think this is a brilliant trade away. It's low hanging fruit because he's an old wide receiver but because he just got all those touchdowns it's like you can cash in.
Andy Holloway
I mean you get to make those arguments in the Positive of you've got the MVP at quarterback and you're on the best offense with the best play caller and you just scored 14 times and you missed three games. Like you can just say it like that.
Jason Moore
Yeah, go to.
Andy Holloway
Someone will want to trade with you.
Jason Moore
Go to a contender. You're obviously not going to trade devonte Adams to any rebuilding team. So be wise, look at your league, see who is really capable of winning a championship and see what they're willing to give up for Adams.
Mike Wright
It would, it would take a full rewatch because I can't speak to the film. I'm just numbers wise. He caught 53% of his targets from Matthew Stafford. It just seems weird where, I mean you had, he had two years for his career by the way. He's a 63% catch rate. He had the two years in Las Vegas where he was just bombarded with targets. He caught 56% of them in 2022. I think that was the Derek Carr year. And then 59% and that's the Aiden O' Connell year. Like to go down to 53%. Something just seems off and maybe it's the decline, like maybe it's a, you know, a, the athleticism is slightly starting to go to the point where the cornerbacks can, you know, catch up. But 53% just, it seems too low. Like it's something, there's a, it's very funky. His touchdown rate is way too high but the catch percentage is too low. So maybe it meets in the middle.
Andy Holloway
There's certainly a world where like he's, he's totally fine for this year. I mean you can get by with okay scores 10 times because they draw that stuff up for him. And he has 700 yards again, they didn't, you know, Makai Lemon, that was a team we thought could draft Makai Lemon. They didn't do that. Right. Like they don't, they don't have the next heir apparent, which is why he didn't get traded. But I mean, how long is this window? The math doesn't math correct. You know what I mean? It's like maybe you get by with a touchdown dependent season this year, but you certainly are not going to be able to trade a 34 year old Devonte Adams if he declines this year. So to me I'd take your shot at it. Trade him to a contender under the promise of being able to contribute for a couple years with an mvp and there you go. So we have more trade targets in the dynasty pass which you can get. That's part of the UDK plus@ultimate draft kit.com lowest price possible before June 1st. [03:13–13:22]
Overtrading
“I've seen the over traders get themselves… all of a sudden you're like, whoa, you made like four awesome moves right there. But because they're over traders, they can't stop… then they're back to their team just stinks.” (04:56 – Mike)
“The people that trade like crazy…historically, it does not work out great for that person.” (06:03 – Jason)
Always Playing for the Future
“You have to know when to go in and do that. That's not necessarily about value over time. In the end, the only thing that matters is: do you win a championship?” (06:25 – Jason)
Running Backs vs. Wide Receivers
“Running backs are more important to winning a championship and wide receivers are more important to being competitive long term.” (07:44 – Andy)
Blindly Following Consensus in Rookie Drafts
“Don't follow our opinions over your own opinions…We disagree with each other, then you make your own decision.” (08:13 – Andy)
“You will have to absorb the arrows, the eyeballs from your league that just say you're an idiot… But the reality is much different.” (09:52 – Andy)
[13:54–23:12]
Breece Hall Extension (Jets)
“This is the first time ever where my running back signs an extension and I'm disappointed… It's not even age… it's like the contracts.” (14:04 – Jason)
Chargers: Eventful TE Room
“If you're on team Gadsden, I wouldn't abandon all hope yet. There's a chance that then Nijoku is about to be washed.” (16:21 – Mike)
Vikings Adding Jauan Jennings, QB Competition
“How hilarious would it be if McCarthy actually wins the job?” (20:34 – Mike)
[25:32–59:37]
Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Cleveland Browns
Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Bayshul Tootin, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars
DJ Moore, WR, Buffalo Bills
George Pickens, WR, Dallas Cowboys
Davante Adams, WR, Los Angeles Rams
