My Twitter timeline exploded. Thank you, Foot Clan. It was. It's a fun way to start a game when you get made fun of saying, oh, really? Going juju. And then I'm like, I think he's going to have a really big game. And then it was like, boom, off to the races. 75 yards.

[Mike Wright]

How do you feel? What? What was. That was a 75 yard touchdown, right?

[Jason Moore]

Correct.

[Mike Wright]

How do you feel about the first play being a 75 yard touchdown, then getting 90 total receiving yards on the day?

[Jason Moore]

Totally fine with it.

[Mike Wright]

I would be very disappointed.

[Jason Moore]

You'd be very disappointed. 90 yards and a touchdown.

If the first play from Scrimmage is a 75 yard touchdown, that's because Mike.

[Andy Holloway]

Is traditionally the greediest of the three of us. So. Yeah, I get that. You get that score.

He's the one upset when Todd Gurley lays down.

But that's because he wasn't on your team is the point. If he was on your team, just like when you used to have shady and he'd be going out there and putting up these Mon. 30, 40 points and you'd be so pissed when they pull them.

Yeah, well, that would be. I'd be upset at the coaching. Yeah. Because it's always a bad mistake when you pull my players off the field.

He's greedy.

He's very greedy.

Fantasy football greed is okay, though. You can want more points, that's fine. But yeah, nice start. We've got so much to cover today. We've got big news to talk about or, you know, we. I polled our listeners about Love Bell, James Conner. We're going to get into that shortly. You can find us on twitter @the ffballers. And yeah, like I said, there's a lot going on. We're going to get right into the Thursday night recap and I'm going to start here. James Conner. Last night, people wondered why I wasn't on the field. He got placed in the concussion protocol.

It was weird, though, because even before the blue tent experience for James Conner in the first half, they was getting pulled off. They were putting other guys in. I know that the sideline reporter came in and said that. That Tomlin just wants to rest, rest Connor a little bit. But it was. His usage was strange to begin with. Then you have the concussion protocol, which somehow he passed. But now he's back in the concussion protocol.

[Jason Moore]

For the concussion protocol, I remember thinking when Samuels was on the field, or Ridley, but I remember thinking it feels like Tomlin is trying to figure out. Or the offensive coordinator. Whoever's putting them in is trying to figure out how do we use two backs.

[Mike Wright]

Right.

[Jason Moore]

Because it was very not steelers. And now Le'Veon Bell is in Pittsburgh.

[Mike Wright]

He's asking for the sticks heated out.

[Andy Holloway]

It's safe to say it's time to pass the.

[Mike Wright]

I like how it's safe to say.

Yeah.

[Andy Holloway]

I don't know what that means.

[Mike Wright]

Connor has been crushing, man.

[Andy Holloway]

James Conner's crushing your bank account. And his performance at the beginning of the game was so impressive. That little. He's got that little shimmy that he does at the line of scrimmage. But look, fantasy owners need to prepare because it's going to happen and Leve Bell is going to come back on Tuesday. I'd put that in. I mean, I put it in 95%.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. I don't. We should not report it like it's a done deal.

[Andy Holloway]

It's not a done deal because there.

[Mike Wright]

Was another report from the athletic that Le'Veon Bell is still considering not showing up at all. It's an absolute, total disaster. And nobody has 100% satisfactory news on it. Except for Le'Veon Bell.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah.

[Andy Holloway]

And he's not telling anybody. Even Ian Rappaport. At the beginning of the day yesterday was like, nobody knows if he's showing up. But more and more reports started trending yesterday where the leadership in Pittsburgh believes he's going to be back. I tweeted out yesterday, 10,000 of you voted said, look, if Love Bell reports Tuesday, what is James Conner rest of season? And here's what you said. You said 41% of you said RB1. Rest of season for Connor. For Connor. I don't believe that myself. 40% of you said RB2. So 80% of you believe he's going to be an RB1 or an RB2. 12% of you said RB3 and 7% said RB4 or worse. I probably fall myself and you guys cast your vote, but I fall probably. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. I'm going to put them in the RB3 category. But it's probably.

[Jason Moore]

That's the benefit of the doubt.

[Andy Holloway]

It is. I was going to say between RB3, RB4 is kind of where I'm at.

[Mike Wright]

I would, I would lay in the RB2 area. It's interesting for all of Le'Veon Bell's success and how great he's been as a running back for this team, it goal line work has never been the calling card of Le'Veon Bell. I mean, on the ground last year he was successful with the nine touchdowns, but before that, seven rushing touchdowns. Three rushing touchdowns, which are fine. Like those are. I'm good with those numbers. But when you're an elite running back who's on the field 80, 90% of the time, you expect a little bit more. And James Conner has been very successful in that role. So it would not shock me to see at this point the timeshare and them go to James Conner at the goal line.

[Andy Holloway]

It's possible.

[Mike Wright]

Which would keep him in that running back two category.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, the offensive line is outstanding for Pittsburgh. And so yes, I know that there's been a lot of like apples to apples comparisons to James Conner's numbers at this point in the season and love Bell's. And look, this is a great offensive line and offensive system. I think you're going to lose just about every one of those receptions that Connor was getting.

[Mike Wright]

Very possible.

[Andy Holloway]

And I think love and then you get the concussion worked in. It's going to be very interesting for fantasy owners. Last night, Pittsburgh came out, set the world on fire. 52, 21. They defeated the Panthers. They stopped the Panthers winning streak. It was just one of those games for Carolina that just they Came out. They had an impressive drive. They scored. Christian McCaffrey had three touchdowns.

[Mike Wright]

They did not want to guard Christian McCaffrey.

[Andy Holloway]

No, that. Especially that first drive. And in the passing game where they decided to ignore him on a couple of touchdown passes. But it was a weird game. I mean, Cam Newton didn't really rush the ball. Their offensive line struggled immensely. The defensive pressure from Pittsburgh, and it was a game that I don't think it ends up this way in Carolina, plain and simple. The momentum, the ball rolling down the, you know, mountain, so to speak, just kept gathering points, and it just washed them away.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. Big Ben is not throwing five touchdowns in Carolina. That's why, you know, when we were, you know, talking about him, we loved the matchup. Being in Pittsburgh makes a lot of sense. I mean, everybody got involved. Jalen Samuels, you get a touchdown. Vance McDonald, you get a touchdown. Juju, you get a touchdown. Antonio Brown, you get a touchdown. Jesse James. This is an Oprah Winfrey situation.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. And for McCaffrey, if you played against him this Thursday, I pour one out to you. Brooks was messaging about, and I said, hey, this reminds me of when A.J. green cost me imaginable Thursday night, and it was the worst.

[Andy Holloway]

You didn't play against Brooks. Brooks, did you in Dynasty. Brooks, did you play against Christian McCaffrey?

[Jason Moore]

No.

[Andy Holloway]

You didn't because I did. No. And guess what? This is the fourth time I've had to play him in nine weeks. And he's terrible to play against.

[Mike Wright]

Listen, this was Christian McCaffrey. This was his highest fantasy output of his career. It was. According to Tristan Cockroft, this was the highest output of fantasy points for a Carolina running back in the franchise history.

[Jason Moore]

And that's pretty crazy because they have touchdowns along D'Angelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart.

[Mike Wright]

Three touchdowns will do that, though.

[Andy Holloway]

Any big takeaways from the game? It was nice. Like, Vance McDonald didn't make an appearance for a while, and then all of a sudden got a little screen, got the touchdown, made a couple plays. So you were happy if you started him.

[Mike Wright]

Yes.

[Andy Holloway]

Any other thoughts from this game?

[Jason Moore]

I mean, my only thought. Greg Olson.

[Andy Holloway]

Underwhelmed.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, he did. Was the Pittsburgh defense. Their defensive line just looked unbelievable. And so going forward, you know, I want to factor that in. I want to remember how they're. They're starting to click.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. They've been a much better defense week after week.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah.

[Andy Holloway]

I mean, that's just what's been happening. And you know how much Mike loves Joe Hayden. I mean, that is true.

How Devin funches do suckers poorly?

How'd the Carolina Panthers do?

Yeah, if you.

Christian McCaffrey did pretty fine. There were points scored by the Carolina Panthers.

The Steelers thought, you know how we can win. Let's play 11 on 10. We're going to play 11 on 10 and we've got one more man than them. Now we're not going to guard Christian McCaffrey, but those other 10 guys, we're going to lock down. It worked.

Well, they did say he was pretty much going to like before the week. They said he wasn't going to get any practice time in. So instead of.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, this I'm seeing nothing to change.

[Jason Moore]

I'm guessing he is active for the game, limited in work. Yes.

[Mike Wright]

Mike Davis time.

[Jason Moore]

Mike Davis to me is a. Is a strong play. And if for any reason Chris Carson is out, Mike Davis becomes must play.

[Andy Holloway]

Okay. All right. That's fair. Sony, Michelle, in or out.

I think he's going to play this week.

Okay. Marlon Mack, it was pointed out by thousands of you that we did not have a good Marlon Mack discussion on the breakdown yesterday. Which or any. Which you're right about. We're right about. It was an oversight. We didn't talk about Marlon Mack. First of all, do you think he's going to play? Second of all, if he plays, are you playing him? What do you think about Marlon Mack in week 10?

[Jason Moore]

Yes and yes. It's never a good thing. You don't want a Player coming off of a bye week who's still practicing limited, which is what's happening with Marlon Mac. So you have to pay attention. You have to monitor. However, the week prior, you know, he's been dealing with the hamstring issue, which you've got. You just have to give it rest. And they gave him extra rest during that week in a way that made me think Marlon Mack, who was, you remember, he was going to be my start of the week. I worried about him because of the rest they were giving him. Then they went out and gave him 25 carries. So, no, I think he's active this week. I think he gets a bulk of the work. I'm a big Marlon Mack fan. I think you could play him, but it's not a very good matchup. Jacksonville is top 10 against the running back. I think with Leonard Fournette there, I think the game is going to, you know, it's going to wind out a little quicker and the plays are going to slow down. So I don't think this is a huge upside game for Marlon Mack, but he is. He is a startable player. I don't worry about the injury right now.

[Andy Holloway]

Kerryon Johnson, in or out?

[Mike Wright]

He will play. He's been limited all week. Him and Leger Blunt actually have been limited all week. But Theo Riddick is the problem.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah.

[Andy Holloway]

Because Theo Riddick and in.

[Mike Wright]

Yes, Theoretic will be playing and the matchup is really bad for the Lions running backs.

[Andy Holloway]

What about Doug Martin, in or out?

[Jason Moore]

Limited Thursday. He'll probably be in. Not a good week for him. Jalen Richard week.

Doug Martin or. I'm sorry, Doug Baldwin.

[Jason Moore]

I mean, he's out of my lineup. He's out of my lineup. He has not performed when he's been air quotes healthy, which that's all he is this year.

[Andy Holloway]

That's best case scenario for Doug Baldwin. His air quotes healthy. He has not performed. Now he's got a new injury. This isn't the knee. This is a groin McGroin. And so he's out of my lineup.

I'm going to say out.

Didn't practice with their Thursday with the foot injury. Jameson Crowder in or out?

He returned to practice. I think he'll be in. How do you feel about Maurice Harris?

Yeah, my start of the week was contingent on Jameson Crowder being out. That's what I said yesterday on the show. I'll definitely be pivoting. I'm going to watch for the practice report today. He did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, but it won't shock me if he plays.

He's got a chest contusion. He's wearing a non contact jersey. You saw him get hit and kind of have that look about him. He plays on Monday night. However, against the Giants, you're not going to be able to pivot to Evan Ingram. He's probably owned.

So from, from what you. From what the reports are, it's not expected to impact his availability for Monday's.

Like you said, the wide receivers, they've given it up there and so that's why I think Josh Gordon's a great play. I'm not as sold on the running backs. James White now Sony Michelle is going to be back. How much is Sony Michelle? If he's back, how much is he used?

But he's not play, he's not startable. He's only there to hurt the value of White.

Not me. I do not think that Rex Burkhead returning. Look, I think what Belichick wants to do is he wants to run Sony. He wants to run Sony early often. He wants somebody that he's going to consistently be able to have get chunkyard. It's a difference of talent. I don't think Rex Burkhead coming back in week 13 is going to be able to chunk yardage the way that Sony Michelle is. And that's all that matters to me.

Oh, say the only thing that matters to me for Rex Burkhead and Sony Michelle is dedication at the goal line because Sony doesn't. He's not catching passes right now in this offense. He can do it. But they're only using James White in that role. So if Sony Michelle ends up splitting goal line work, then you're going to get games of where Maybe he has 20 carries and 90 yards. But if he doesn't score, then you're like, ah, crap, that's.

But Dion Lewis has just been the last two weeks and especially after their bye week this, this past week, he is the guy and there's not many of those, you know, full three down backs in the league and all of a sudden Dion Lewis looks like he might be one. So that's why I am pretty high on Dion Lewis going forward.

Can you flex Corey Davis? 4th highest target share in the league. That is equated to almost nothing in fantasy points. And if you can't flex him now, can you release him?

You could. He's my wide receiver, 28, so I guess that is a flex.

Kenyon Drake has. The reason he's been disappointing is not him. It's been the coach. It's been the usage. It's been. I mean, because when he's. His efficiency is fantastic. But, you know, last week he got three carries. That. That's not going to get it done. But if you look at his involvement in the passing game, I mean, going back the last, you know, half of the season, seven receptions. Four, four, two, four. He is the guy to be getting involved in the passing game. If they're down to the Packers, I think Kenyon Drake, you can start them this week. Yeah.

Drake, to me is the type of player that if you've held on this long, you haven't moved him. You didn't drop him at the beginning of the season. You just got to play him every single week because you can't, you can't project when Kenyan Drake's actually going to have his bigger games. You got to take the good and the bad.

So, Graham Barfield, I retweeted this yesterday, switching to the packers side, the more interesting side, the side I care about in this matchup. He tweeted out this about Aaron Jones. Among running backs with at least 125 carries over the last two years, Aaron Jones is first in yards per carry, first in yards gained after a defender closes first in rushing gains of 10 plus yards, first in success rate, second and first down rate. He's very neat and special, but you can't translate tweets into fantasy points yet. I'm working on it, but Aaron Jones needs the ball for that, to translate.

And like I said last week, if you look at formations, if you look at the film and what they're doing with the offense, and having traded away Time Montgomery for a bag of potato chips, they're working Aaron Jones into the passing game a little bit. He didn't get every target, but he's in there on those formations. He caught a couple of passes. He just needs his baseline to rise due to opportunity, and it's happening.

It's a 50 point over under. I believe that that nine and a half points at home for the Rams is a show of respect for the Seahawks. I'm surprised at the line at home for Los Angeles coming off a loss with their firepower. To me that says that they. I mean Seattle's going to have an okay game here.

What are the big storylines here? I mean what do we think about. I mean Jared Goff. I mean I have golf rated Jared Garf. I have him rated very high this week despite the Fact that Seattle has been great at stopping opposing quarterbacks. We talked about their matchups. It's a little deceptive walking all the way through. I don't think they're the second best team against quarterbacks, which is what their ranking is because they've played a lot of quarterbacks that don't have the capability of being high scorers. This is going to be their biggest test. I like Jared Goff to the tune of him being my number four quarterback this week.

Yeah, I mean, Goff has proven because of the offense, he's a must start. He can get it out. I mean, all the value that Todd Gurley brings you in the screen game, he's bringing Jared Goff as well.

[Andy Holloway]

Cooper cup is back, is healthy. I mean, we saw that last week. So yeah, I mean the Seahawks defense has been shockingly good this year for all the pieces they lost, lost in the off season. I was really surprised that they have been a solid defense. So I, you know, it's, it's which one is going to give and it's going to be the Seahawks defense because the Rams are just too good at home. And like you said, Andy, coming off a loss, they're going to have to slit some throats.

It's very similar to last year's Drew Brees, where at the end of the year, Russell Wilson will finish as a quarterback one. But every single week, he's not doing enough to really help your fantasy team get in the win column.

He's not hurting your team. So that, I guess that's the nice part about him, is he's been safe, but you have not gotten the boom.

He will have to throw the ball in this game. He will have to.

But that's what I want him to run the ball. That's what I want him to do.

This is a game where I think you do have to temper expectations for Dallas offensive pieces. Philadelphia's defense is good. Philadelphia is coming off a bye week. Philadelphia is playing a division rival. Philadelphia is going to do everything it can to stop the one piece that can do anything, which is Ezekiel Elliott.

No, not Amari Cooper. Oh, but look, I don't. Last I checked, Philadelphia hasn't given up, hasn't given up a rushing touchdown on the season.

Yeah, it's not, it's not to a running back. It's not a great matchup for Ezekiel Elliott, although it wasn't a great matchup for Christian McCaffrey either. Saw how that worked out.

[Andy Holloway]

It's not like you're sitting Zeke, but I'm saying I have him lower than the consensus this year. I have him at RB8.

Yeah, I mean, still a play outside of Zeke. I think you could start.

I think you can start Amari Cooper, but I'm not starting Dak. Not starting Col Beasley or Gallup or Hearns not playing with the Titans. I think that's it. Zeke is a must start. And if you need to start Amari Cooper, it's, It's okay.

You would think that there'd be more must starts on the other side of the ball in the Philadelphia offense, but to me it's Carson Wentz, Alshon, Jeffrey Zachary. Outside of that. I'm not starting anybody on purpose. Maybe on accident, but not on purpose.

Yeah, I don't want to, I don't want to roll the dice with Golden Tate not knowing his role yet. I don't want to roll the dice on Nelson Aguilar not knowing Golden Tate's role yet. And then at running back, I mean, it's, it's nice for that. It's not a four headed monster. Darren Sprols is out this week. Corey Clement has missed Thursday practice due to an illness, so he should be fine for Sunday.

But let's just talk through the situation. If Corey is out and it's Wendell Smallwood and Josh Adams, are you interested in playing either of those guys. And which one would you prefer if.

Corey Clement was out? I would play both of those guys and I would probably put Josh Adams in ahead because I expect the Eagles to win the game and be in the lead. Wendell Smallwood is probably going to be. If it was just those two guys. The one used in the passing game.

But yeah, like, you know, low over, under. Not expecting a lot of volume here. Actually, the guy then to discuss is Carson Wentz.

But he's number one in running back yards per touch in football. He's seeing two plus red zone looks per game. He is a start. Matt Burrida is and should be out there for you. Saquon Beckham, you play him every week. Talk to me about this matchup in a way that makes me want to keep listening.

All right. You're going to play Saquon. You're going to play Odell Beckham. The biggest question mark to me of the Giant side of the ball is Evan Ingram. That's a no for you.

It's been incredibly disappointing. He had a historically great rookie tight end season. He's right now on this year though, he's getting three or averaging 3.4 yards. That's his average depth of target. Last year it was 8.8, which is. That's a great number for a tight end. You want to see that. The, the impact of Saquon getting check downs and Eli Manning being the ghost in the shell is destroying Evan Ingram's fantasy value.

So, I mean, those. For those factors. I'm with Jason. I would prefer not to play Ingram.
