Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright.
Mike Wright
Welcome in. Happy Friday, everybody. The Fantasy Footballers Podcast. Mike the fantasy hitman, Jason Moore, Andy Holloway. Got a great show for you today.
Jason Moore
It's great.
Mike Wright
Top notch. Wonder where that originated.
Jason Moore
Top notch?
Mike Wright
Yeah. Like what makes that notch? Well, it was on the top of the notches.
Jason Moore
I mean, if you take a. I.
Mike Wright
Don'T want to go all spitballers here.
Jason Moore
No. But I'm just saying, if there's notches, the one on the top is clearly the best one.
Mike Wright
Because of height. Yes. Isn't that the heightest?
Jason Moore
Yes. Well, it is.
Mike Wright
I guess you and I are better than Jason Dewey.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
I mean, we can check in with the short kings of the deucers alley and ask them, you know, Shout out short kings. You ever been able to reach the top shelf or the top notch? No. I'll answer it for you.
Mike Wright
Middle notch. Middle notch. Deuces alley.
Jason Moore
Yes. These are real middle notch guys.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Anyways, good morning, everybody. How you doing over there, Papa Josh?
Andy Holloway
I'm doing great.
Mike Wright
Are you the tallest of the three?
Andy Holloway
I am. That's why I was pointing above these guys.
Jason Moore
Oh, man. Supreme dominance at 5. He jumps.
Mike Wright
He can jump up and like, also the fastest.
Jason Moore
That actually has been proven.
Mike Wright
Yeah, there was. There was a race.
Andy Holloway
Jeremy, it's been proven that he's faster than Matt.
Jason Moore
Oh, that's fine. So we're setting up a race.
Andy Holloway
No, no. He doesn't want to prove to run.
Mike Wright
He talks a big game. Are we setting up a race?
Andy Holloway
No, no. I love it. It has not been proven.
Jason Moore
It has, Josh, but that's called a forfeit, so.
Mike Wright
I'm so happy to be with everybody today. Unfortunately, Mike, sorry, everybody. Perfectly nailed what we watched last night on Thursday Night Football minus two plays.
Jason Moore
Hey, yeah. If you be grateful that we got some. Well, we got Saquon Barkley and then we got absolute dust. Stinkiest doo doo garbage. I know it's within two scores, yada yada. But the Jaden Daniels to Zach Ertz touchdown and then the two point conversion was awesome.
Mike Wright
This happened for one reason. I mean, Jaden Daniels was. He had. He was down at seven points, had thrown a pick. It was not looking good. The team inexplicably went for it on fourth down when they could have kicked the field goal to take the lead.
Andy Holloway
That was so stupid.
Mike Wright
It was the dumbest thing. It's the single dumbest thing I've seen in the NFL this year. Because it was an opportunity to take the lead with just four minutes left. It was an easily makeable field goal and you had just been stuffed twice on second and third down. I can't believe they did it. It changed the entire game.
Andy Holloway
It wasn't one of those situations where there was like, you know, a minute left so that they, you know, if they pick it up, they can run the clock out and kick a field goal with four seconds left. That wasn't the situation.
Mike Wright
I don't know, man. It was just weird.
Andy Holloway
You got to take in the lead and I'm, you know, we're all Mr. Go for it.
Jason Moore
I'm as aggressive as it gets. But you, you take the lead.
Mike Wright
Oh, you're in on that?
Jason Moore
Oh, yes. You take the lead with four minutes left. Or at least remember how they moved the entirety of the field with passing. And they were like, yeah, they couldn't be stopped on that drive. And then they're like, you know what we're going to do?
Mike Wright
Run, run, run.
Jason Moore
We're going to go high T right here. And it didn't work.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it was a little reminiscent of the former Cardinal cliff days at times, you know, right up the middle.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
But what I was getting to is that Jason was just openly mocking Mr. Jeremy over there.
Andy Holloway
Al Borland, our main two leagues league of record and our main dynasty league. Jeremy and I are facing each other and in both of those he has Jaden Daniels. So I'm playing against Jaden Daniels.
Mike Wright
Oh, in both of them.
Andy Holloway
In both.
Mike Wright
Oh, I didn't realize he had him. In both.
Andy Holloway
I am loving life because the game is over and Jaden's got seven points. I'm like, heck, yeah.
Mike Wright
And then garbage time. Garbage on the field.
Andy Holloway
Garbage time. And that terrible time management again, the touchdown to Zach Ertz, which, I mean, what an incredible catch. But this is how garbage it was when it was called on the field. Not a touchdown. No one cared.
Mike Wright
Oh, you're talking about the two point conversion?
Andy Holloway
Was that the two point conversion? It was like, you know, it was just one of those things where it doesn't matter. Yeah, it doesn't matter. The game's over. It doesn't matter. Oh, oh, we got that.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Neat.
Mike Wright
Yeah. I mean, at least that gave gave Matrix at the onside kick, but.
Jason Moore
And Brian Robinson scored. So.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I would.
Jason Moore
If you took the gamble on it, it paid off.
Mike Wright
I was talking to Al yesterday. Hopefully he doesn't mind me sharing this, but he said, you know, he's got Jaden Daniels in both leagues and he's just like, man, I am the most stressed out. I've been in fantasy. And I couldn't help but think of that quote when Jaden Daniels was struggling last night, because this was one of the ones that, like, on paper was scary. If you're a Jaden Daniels manager.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Mike Wright
You kind of knew in the back of your head that maybe Goff or Nick's or Herbert would be a better play this week. But how do you sit down that guy that, you know, you just hope he gets enough on the ground. It was a really boring game. If you were a Saquon manager, you were sad. And then you were. So, I mean, you weren't sad.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, you were.
Mike Wright
Yeah, you were sad.
Andy Holloway
You were. Because he was bottled up.
Mike Wright
Yeah. It was 76 yards, no touchdowns.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. You were pretty disappointed with the performance. It really Seemed like the commander's defense had Saquon's number and they did forward the majority of the game and until they didn't.
Mike Wright
Two touchdowns in 20 seconds for Saquon Barkley.
Jason Moore
Well, they needed. They needed Ken Gainwell to go in and tenderize the meat. Like, that was a wild run there where Gainwell's getting just absolutely gouging the defense. And then they were like, hey, Barkley, you take over from here.
Mike Wright
Didn't we bring up Gainwell as like, when. Cause we talked Corum and we talked Trey Benson and we talked these other insurance backs and we're like, why is Gainwell not being brought up? Where if something happened to Saquon, which has happened for years, why wouldn't Gainwell be one of those priority apps?
Jason Moore
Oh, he would. He's just is not as top tier.
Andy Holloway
Right.
Jason Moore
Like the. He'll give you what, 65% of saquon.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
I mean, we.
Andy Holloway
We've seen him in a couple opportunities to have that role and he just hasn't had massive performances. And I also think some of the reason that he isn't given enough credit as that insurance back is because they drafted Will Shipley. Sure. And everyone loves a rookie.
Mike Wright
Yeah, they do. That's why Blake Corum gets mentioned in that group.
Jason Moore
Exactly.
Mike Wright
It's awesome to see Saquon have a career year with the opportunity he's had. I mean, the hundred yard games with this offensive line in this offensive system, he has been rejuvenated. Also, I think this off season, just to quickly give one kind of takeaway, it's that there's a massive difference. We're like, oh, DeAndre Swift is successful in Philly. Okay. He's not Saquon. Oh, my gosh. Devin Singletary had some success in Houston. Oh, he's not Joe Mixon. Like the big backs.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Oh, oh, Gus Edwards had some touchdowns last year for the Ravens. Oh, he's not King Henry. Yeah.
Mike Wright
And the different and who's winning, turns.
Andy Holloway
Out running backs matter.
Mike Wright
They really.
Jason Moore
The old ones like this, the great ones, it's the.
Mike Wright
It's the greats.
Jason Moore
It is. But I'm saying it's the upside down nature of this fantasy football season of the wide receivers are killing people. If you drafted running backs early, it's working out. And if you drafted and they're staying. That's what I'm saying. This is.
Mike Wright
They're all healthy. We have nothing to say on waiver day for running backs because James Connor's healthy and these guys are staying on the field.
Andy Holloway
The best part is that this isn't a fantasy football take. This is an NFL Take the teams that spent big money on Brandon Iuk and, you know, franchise T. Higgins or, you know, it's, you know, the teams that invested and spent the money on the big running backs this off season. They're the ones winning.
Mike Wright
And I'm so happy because I don't enjoy the part of the off season where we were trending towards running backs. Can't get contracts and it's all committees and rookies like bring balance to the force here. Maybe this year will incentivize some teams to spend up on players you just talked about. Was it yesterday Connor might get an extension from Arizona.
Jason Moore
I mean, I am projecting that. Haven't heard nothing but just. It would be not surprising at all.
Mike Wright
Just fine wine running backs.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
No, it just get better and better.
Jason Moore
It will definitely keep working.
Mike Wright
It's a horrible. It was a horrible night for Terry McLaurin. It's worth mentioning that Philadelphia right now, number one wide receivers are getting shut down against Philadelphia. And so it's not just Terry McLaurin like you're talking about, you know, a number of top backs. I was, I was trying to pull up. I had a chart earlier of all of the shutdown guys.
Jason Moore
Well, while you, while you look at that, just a reminder that. Yeah. Because the Washington Commanders play Philadelphia in week 16.
Andy Holloway
Okay. Yeah.
Jason Moore
@ least put that on your radar.
Mike Wright
Kenya Mitchell, right. Here's who he's gone up against. So McLaren last night had no catches on him. He had one catch in the game. None on Mitchell. Lamb, one catch. Chase, two catches. Neighbors, one catch. Cooper, one catch. Evans, two catches. Olave, two catches. Maximum yardage in that group, 23, so it's something to keep. And Drake London, one catch, five yards.
Andy Holloway
So what a good draft. What a good draft this year for the Eagles.
Mike Wright
Yeah, the good teams seem to do that. All right. We've got a lot to get to today. We got matchups. We got the Wheel of Shame. Mike is dying to spin it. And it's. Of course. It's of course. Friday.
Andy Holloway
Foot Clan Friday.
Mike Wright
We love the Foot Clan. So every Friday we give away a $100 gift card to fantasychamps.com you can pick up that championship trophy, ring, belt, whatever you need. I'm planning on needing a lot this year. Kachow, kid. Congratulations.
Jason Moore
Kachow.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I thought about letting you just read that $100 gift card to Kachowkid, a supporter@jointhefoot.com along with a fantasy footballers T shirt. Thank you for supporting the show. Let's talk some news.
Andy Holloway
News and notes from around the league presented by USAA Insurance.
Mike Wright
There's an expectation for Tank Bigsby to return to practice to just further confirm the fact that Jason will not start Travis ETN even in a Pop Warner league.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, he did not, he didn't practice yet this week. The expectation is he has a chance to play. So I feel like I'm hoping he plays so that nobody. So nobody's too tempted.
Mike Wright
But, you know, and Brian Thomas Jr. Is still limited with the chest injury. I mean, this is, this is lining up really well for the Detroit defense.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Sam LaPorta still sidelined on Thursday. I felt like the comments from Dan Campbell and the news report on Laporta really put him more into the week to week category for me personally. So him being sidelined two days in a row, it is concerning. Aaron Jones still limited. We expect him to play. He says he's going to be good. Najee Harris returned to a full practice getting ready for that big matchup this weekend. Jalen Warren.
Jason Moore
Oh, gosh, I didn't see that.
Mike Wright
Added to the injury report with a back issue and did not practice well.
Jason Moore
That was a real flip flop there.
Mike Wright
I feel like we are going to just spend this whole year waiting for Warren to have one good game and it's never going to happen.
Andy Holloway
I haven't been waiting the whole season. I've just been.
Mike Wright
No, you've been, you've been saying, why do we talk about him?
Jason Moore
He was running back 23 last week. He was.
Andy Holloway
So then. And just so that I'm clear that you're saying he's running back 23 last week. That was as a good. That's a good thing. That's not like, oh, he was down at running.
Mike Wright
It's meaningful enough to bring up on waiver wire is what he's saying.
Andy Holloway
Okay. But that was his best performance of the year, right? Running back 23.
Jason Moore
Hold on, hold on.
Mike Wright
Jason is.
Jason Moore
So you're dunking on the running back 23 on the weekend.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Mike Wright
Which is probably Breezy.
Jason Moore
So you have.
Andy Holloway
How many bye weeks were there?
Jason Moore
Oh, that doesn't matter.
Andy Holloway
Well, yeah, I'm just saying.
Jason Moore
Oh, no.
Mike Wright
This is between you two.
Andy Holloway
He got up to running back 23 in a, in a week with a bunch of bye weeks and that. But that's his, that is his pinnacle this year. His. Did he get 10, did he get 10 points?
Jason Moore
No, he points.
Andy Holloway
Okay. That's what I've been saying all year. He hasn't yet got 10 fantasy points. Still didn't get it.
Jason Moore
So Jason Moore. Only top 15 running backs for Jason Moore.
Andy Holloway
If he was running back. If he was running back 45 and he scored 15 fantasy points, I'd be happy. Okay.
Mike Wright
Do you want to hear something fun?
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Guess who the running back 23 is this year in points per game.
Andy Holloway
Oh, gosh. Is it Breeze Hall?
Mike Wright
It's Breeze hall, damn it.
Andy Holloway
I feel that in my soul. Oh, I'm on the same side with Breece. I'm so sick of him.
Jason Moore
All right, well, just know with my memory, the next time you ever say this guy was a top 24 running.
Mike Wright
Back, you're dead, man.
Jason Moore
The hammer's coming.
Mike Wright
You're dead, man.
Andy Holloway
Bring it.
Jason Moore
And I will say, what poor analysis.
Andy Holloway
And then I. And then you know what? I'll follow that up with as I'll say, well, he scored 10 fantasy points that week, which is totally okay.
Mike Wright
Tyreek Hill upgraded from OR to a limited practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday. He's putting off surgery until after the season. I did not know that.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that was this morning.
Mike Wright
I mean, I guess. I guess that's good news in the sense that I've kind of been, like, afraid that one week the shoe's going to drop, and he's like, ah, I can't do this anymore.
Jason Moore
It might. Like, I wouldn't. The fact that they're like, you know, this has to be repaired, it's not great.
Mike Wright
Devonte Adams did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. Wrist slash illness.
Andy Holloway
Getting. Getting back to Tyree Kill real quick. If this is a player who has to get surgery, at what point do you shut him down?
Jason Moore
That's what I mean.
Andy Holloway
Because this is a team that. What do they have? Three wins? Four wins? Three. They have three wins. If they rattle off two more losses, you know, and they're.
Mike Wright
Can you rattle off losses? I thought you could only rattle off wins.
Andy Holloway
Is that true?
Mike Wright
I don't know.
Andy Holloway
I mean, I'm here.
Mike Wright
I wouldn't be rattling them off if I was losing.
Jason Moore
What is the opposite of rattling?
Mike Wright
I don't know. This is not. We can't do this again.
Andy Holloway
But, you know, I mean, obviously, they've got the Raiders and the Patriots the next two weeks. That's a great sign for Tyreek Hill. I just wonder when they're out of the playoffs and it's like, yeah, we're mathematically eliminated. Week 16, week 17, maybe championship week for fantasy.
Mike Wright
See, I felt like that was true before. He said he's going to put it off until after the season.
Andy Holloway
But my point is after the season might begin during the season for a player that's. Do you know what I'm saying?
Mike Wright
I know what you're saying. But for him to come out and say, I'm not going to do that, I feel like also matters which he's coming out and saying, I'm not going to do that. We're just saying that's his public pronouncement is I'm not going to do that.
Andy Holloway
He's going to wait until this season is over. That's what he's saying.
Jason Moore
For him.
Mike Wright
If he stops playing football, he would get the surgery during the season.
Jason Moore
Not for him. Because his season would be over.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, his season would be over.
Mike Wright
Oh, it's not his season, it's the season. What are we even talking about?
Jason Moore
Also, the people get it. Also, the AFC east is up to their old tricks. I don't know. Like, I am unaware just of The Bills are 8 and 2 and then every other team in the division has three wins. Like back when the Patriots were dominant. It was just. They were dominant. But no one else in the division could compete.
Mike Wright
Yesterday. Get it together yesterday. Jason said buy low on Tyreek Hill. I just want that to be brought up. Darnell Mooney was added to the injury report on Thursday with an Achilles injury. George Kittle upgraded to a limited practice. That's good news. With the hamstring. Dalton Kincaid still not practicing, almost assuredly out. Amari Cooper. This is not good. I mean, it's good, but not good. He says he thinks he can play, but he's going to have to wear a cast. And the wrist injuries, I mean, we need a wrist index soon. The way that the wrist injuries are.
Andy Holloway
Going, it really has been crazy. And it's all wide receivers. You know, you had Keon Coleman, his teammate, Cooper, obviously. Tyreek.
Jason Moore
It's a weird Adams this week.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, it's a weird wrist year.
Mike Wright
Harrison Butler is going to miss the next 4ish weeks with a meniscus surgery repair. T. Higgins.
Jason Moore
Yeah, this one is. It's fun. Look, he was. He was limited. However, this is a shout out to Andrew Cooper. I retweeted it if you've not seen it. Andrew Cooper does some fantasy analysis and he came with receipts of the way that T. Higgins runs up the hill. We've all seen the practice videos of like when they're entering. There's this hill over to their right. And the way that T. Higgins has taken the hill during practice has been a like a tell of if he is going to play and this. So this is a big week for it. Of he's saying Higgins is running up the hill aggressively, aggressively, the way that he has done when he actually is going to play. So that will be.
Mike Wright
This is a very Vermont snow style.
Andy Holloway
This one actually makes a little bit more sense.
Jason Moore
How dare you.
Mike Wright
My problem with the Hill narrative was that we had a very small sample size of videos. I needed to see years of videos of him on this hill, not just three or four.
Andy Holloway
You want to see him when he's in the middle of a healthy stretch.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Walking slowly up the hill to debunk the hill, man.
Mike Wright
Or he always runs up the hill and then I believe the hill.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Hey.
Jason Moore
This week will be a big one because he ran and it was like rainy.
Andy Holloway
So you're thinking he's in.
Mike Wright
Oh, I mean, I know he's in his quad. His quad, if it's hurting, doesn't take the hill the way he took the hill.
Andy Holloway
That's true.
Mike Wright
You know what I mean. Okay. This has been quite the episode. All right. That was today's news and notes presented by USAA Insurance. Learn more at USAA.com insurance We'll take a break. We'll hit the forecast.

It's time for fantasy Forecast presented by DraftKings Sportsbook.
Mike Wright
You like how I hit that drop?
Andy Holloway
I was very impressed. It was right away, no hesitation.
Mike Wright
Sometimes I like to, like, have a brief conversation in between our break and the next segment and then that causes me to forget. I was going to say that T. Higgins is the Sunday night game. Congratulations, everybody.
Jason Moore
Yeah, yeah. Don't worry.
Andy Holloway
He ran up the hill.
Jason Moore
I think we will know.
Mike Wright
The worst thing that could happen according to Jason is if he ended up as the wide receiver 23 this week.
Andy Holloway
Oh, no.
Jason Moore
What a terrible.
Andy Holloway
He doesn't score 10 fantasy points. That's the barometer for a bad half yard.
Jason Moore
But it's all relative. If he score. If you're wide receiver 23 with eight points, that means everybody else stunk.
Mike Wright
Counterpoint. Mike with the slap across, it matters your face. You're the Jake, but he's the Mike Tyson.
Andy Holloway
Fantastic.
Jason Moore
I'm the old one.
Andy Holloway
Fantastic.
Mike Wright
Yeah, but you're the one we're rooting for.
Andy Holloway
Oh, okay. That's true. Everyone's rooting for Mike.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
You saw the slap this morning.
Jason Moore
I did. And you know why? Because he stepped on Tyson's foot.
Mike Wright
He did. He did.
Jason Moore
Very disrespectful.
Mike Wright
And it's white shoes.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
You can't do that to people in white shoes.
Andy Holloway
Scuff the shoes.
Jason Moore
Never.
Mike Wright
I'll slap you.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Green Bay, Chicago, Jacksonville, Detroit, Minnesota, Tennessee, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Las Vegas, Miami, the Rams and New England. And Cleveland, New Orleans. We covered all of those on yesterday's episode. Today, the Colts at 4 and 6 going back to Anthony Richardson taking on the jets in New York. The jets three and seven. The Draft King sportsbook line, New York minus four. The over under is 43 and a half. I like New York in this game. Both of these teams have been really in the blender when it comes to the coaches, the coaching staff, the decisions, the quarterback tumult, low expect or expectations that have been lowered. What is your initial impression on this game?
Andy Holloway
I mean, I mean the big news that we talked about this week was that Anthony Richardson is installed as the quarterback. We're going to see what he learned on his quick little hiatus as a, as a backup quarterback. If anything, you know, when it comes to like you like the jets in this game, I get that they're at home, they're a very good passing defense over the course of the season, last week notwithstanding. And then you've got, you know, basically a rookie in Anthony Richardson coming in who has looked good and bad in different matchups. But I do caution a little bit of swinging the pendulum too far where we go. Anthony Richardson has been bad, has thrown picks and that was a good defense. So therefore it's just going to be a massacre. Anthony Richardson also has big explosive upside plays down the field to Adnai Mitchell, who's getting more work. I would not be surprised here. Like I don't think it is a guarantee that Anthony Richardson comes out and has an awful game and is demoralized by the jets defense that looked so bad last week.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I mean it's never a guarantee in fantasy football, but I buy all of that. I buy the whole narrative. I think he'll be pretty bad. I mean, let's go back in time. I mean we have single digit fantasy performances in 405. 11.5 was the peak in the last five starts. I'm just not, I don't have high expectations. There's no guarantee that he doesn't hit on a big play, but I would not be expecting or starting personally. Anthony Richardson, his passing yard line is 177 yards.
Andy Holloway
The take that I was talking about was really more about the jets defense. Yeah, crumbling the DST seems like one that you definitely, you just gotta have and that is what I'm more concerned on. You know, I also buy what you're saying in the sense that I don't want to start Josh Downs, I don't want to start Adnai Mitchell or Alec Pierce. If Pittman is active, I don't want to start any of them.
Mike Wright
I'm fine with Downs in the flex, even with Richardson because I think he's good for, you know, five catches and he's a good player.
Jason Moore
Same game.
Mike Wright
Like I'd play him over Bateman for what it's worth.
Andy Holloway
That's fine. You're going that low.
Jason Moore
So what about Devonte Adams?
Mike Wright
Oh, Adams, Adams all play. Yeah, I mean his targets have been out of control. They have And I expect after the bye week at home with Rogers, it'll be a little bit better.
Jason Moore
Well, the bye week is next week.
Andy Holloway
Well, but will they before the.
Mike Wright
Before the bye week?
Andy Holloway
They're still at home after the bye week. So he.
Mike Wright
Why does it feel like they haven't played in a while?
Andy Holloway
Because they didn't play last week against the Cardinals.
Mike Wright
Oh, they didn't play.
Andy Holloway
They took an early buy.
Mike Wright
I just feel like yeah, I'd play Adams.
Jason Moore
Okay.
Mike Wright
Regardless of when the buy is the.
Jason Moore
Saying of the of Devonte Adams has been inside the top 38 at wide receiver just two times.
Mike Wright
Are you saying you'd play Downs over Adams?
Jason Moore
No, I'm. I'm not saying that. Just of the like where I was testing where you are with Josh Downs.
Mike Wright
Yeah. 13 targets, 11 targets for Adams last couple of weeks. You obviously hope that Rogers and Wilson and Adams can kind of, you know, being at home in this game, not an, not a defense. That's scary in Indianapolis.
Jason Moore
I'm playing all the jets.
Mike Wright
So call Roger is Rogers.
Jason Moore
He's stream of like I would play Rogers over Richardson.
Mike Wright
Yeah, me too. I mean but I would play. I'd play Travis ETN over Richards. That's where I'm at, Jay.
Jason Moore
Goodness.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Jonathan Taylor, Breeze hall both look like good plays here. Breeze hall, wow. I'm surprised. Minus 160 on DK to get a touchdown. That says that he's got very good odds to score this week. And it makes sense. You're at home, you're favored by four and you're against a weak run defense. But he can let you down, man. Breeze hall can let you down.
Mike Wright
You're feeling the burns but hall should be fine. Your jets should be fine. They should win this game.
Jason Moore
I agree. And on the Colts side, Michael Pittman was a full practice on Wednesday and Thursday, which he's generally been taking Wednesday off.
Mike Wright
So this is goodbye Adonai Mitchell. Goodbye Alec Pierce.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that's the point is Adonai becomes a far sketchier start. Alec Pierce remains like he's just. Alec Pierce is who he is. I think regardless of Pittman or AD nights a pray for the one with the one.
Mike Wright
Jonathan Taylor splits with or without a rich basically the same. You can play him against the jets defense that, you know, let Amari d. Marcato run 50 something yards at the end of the half and oh, wait, that was the Bears.
Jason Moore
No, that was the Bears.
Mike Wright
He let James Connor run wild.
Jason Moore
Them and Benson.
Mike Wright
The Falcons at 6 and 4 take on the 5 and 5 Denver Broncos. The DraftKings sports book line here. Denver -2 at home over unders 44. Both teams in the playoffs as of right now.
Jason Moore
Wild.
Andy Holloway
I think both teams deserve to be in the playoffs. The Denver Broncos have looked awesome. They basically beat the Chiefs until the field goal was blocked at the end. That still blows my mind basically. Well, it's one of those, you know, if you, if you missed it, it was. They're running the clock out to kick the field goal because they're close enough where it's.
Jason Moore
It was an intention, it's a gimme.
Andy Holloway
You know, they're just trying to get the clock to four seconds. The game is over. They're going to win. Wow. How'd they do that? And then the field goal was blocked.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it was a dog fight game. 14 to 16. That's how Denver wins right now. Bo Nicks your stream of the week. Jason. He's been a quarterback one in four of six starts. I like Russell Wilson more than Bo Nicks this week.
Andy Holloway
That's one of the biggest questions on our start sit tool. It's so funny considering that they let Russell Wilson go to essentially get Bo Nicks. But yeah, I agree. I think Russell Wilson is a better start this week even though I like Bo Nicks this week.
Mike Wright
Saw Javante Williams hit waiver wires in all my leagues this week. Audric estimate Mike, are you willing to start him in this game against the Falcons run defense, which is top half?
Jason Moore
I am. I mean, I'm not expecting big things, but he has.
Mike Wright
What would you estimate he would be able to put up?
Jason Moore
I mean, I think he can get to Jason's threshold of 10 points. I think he can get there.
Andy Holloway
I think the only way he can get to 10 points is a touchdown. So this is a guy who's constantly referred to as the first and second down back. I don't think he's going to get past catching work.
Jason Moore
He won't.
Andy Holloway
And so against the top half rush defense for a team that, you know, they're usually a little bit more slog and dog their defense, you know, they're not, I don't know. I just roll with it. That's new.
Mike Wright
That's new. You want it fresh and new.
Andy Holloway
I liked it.
Mike Wright
You said felt good slogan dog.
Andy Holloway
So you know they're a slogan dog team. So that means they're playing defense. I'm Not. I'm not loving estimate here as a start. He's certainly a great pickup just like.
Jason Moore
Brian Robinson last night. I expect estimate will get double digit carries, probably be in that 60 to 70 rushing yards area. And then you're.
Mike Wright
I mean like algier or estimate.
Jason Moore
I'd go estimate.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I would as well. The Broncos defense has just been outstanding. I think they're especially the past game. I worry a little bit about Drake London on the other side of the ball. I usually when I see like the you've got a sauce Gardener or a Patrick Certain or you know, Legerious Snead, you've got one of these guys, it's like taken out the one. You look for the two in those games a lot of times. Pretty sad that right now Mooney looks a little banged up with an Achilles limited participant on Thursday because you know, I might be excited for him to be really necessary in this game.
Mike Wright
Yeah. And you got to remember the Broncos defense number one in the NFL against wide receivers. You can look at last six weeks where it softened a bit but they missed certain for two of those weeks. The default defense for the Broncos, very good against the pass. A good defense in general you're going to look at to be John to kind of be your table setter for this offense in this game. And it's not surprising to me that the Broncos are favored at home. It should be a good game. Kyle Pitts.
Jason Moore
Yeah, Kyle Pitts or one of the the waiver type guys like Johnny. Okay. And if we somehow get information that the T. Higgins Hill narrative is incorrect this week, would you go back to Sticky Kasiki or would you play Kyle Pitts?
Andy Holloway
I would go with Kosicki. I think that. I know it didn't come through for a. But his snaps, his routes, even his targets, they were all there. It just wasn't down the field stuff as much as you wanted. And he didn't get a touchdown. But the opportunity is certainly there.
Mike Wright
T. Higgins is not going through the team stretch this morning but is in uniform and has a helmet as he works on the side.
Andy Holloway
Do we know about this morning's hill?
Mike Wright
We do not.
Jason Moore
No. Harditz was asking, but we don't. We don't have information yet.
Andy Holloway
Let's dig, man. Let's dig.
Mike Wright
Cortland Sutton is the wide receiver seven since week six. Would you play him in this matchup over probably both of the Falcons?
Andy Holloway
Oh, man, that's. It's funny.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I agree. I mean, you know, you talk down Drake London because of the Matchup. But London has been. I mean London. Well, I think many people can but London is the wide receiver five on the season. So I don't think you can. I don't think you can sit London. You just have to hold your breath.
Jason Moore
That one is so tough because you have the production from Drake London. But you know, I mean when guys are in these matchups, you know that, I mean it's. They're going to let you down.
Mike Wright
It's the exact Jaden Daniels or a pivot choice.
Jason Moore
Yes, that's what I mean.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Mike Wright
Do you stick with the guy that has gotten you there where you know, Drake London has been very good but probably needs a touchdown in this game to salvage the day for you. You know, Sutton and London are very close in my rankings.
Jason Moore
I would, I'm gonna. I'll do it for the team. I would play Cortland sudden.
Mike Wright
I think so. I think so. I.
Jason Moore
That's a really tough call but I, I think it's the right way.
Mike Wright
I think that I'm with you.
Andy Holloway
I can see it.
Mike Wright
The Seattle Seahawks at four and five. The 49ers at five and four. The Draft King sportsbook line. San Francisco at home minus six and a half. The over under is 48. Seattle is. They've really kind of been on a fallen off. Yeah, they've fallen apart.
Jason Moore
I mean they're rattling off them losses.
Mike Wright
Yeah. One in five. One and five in their last six games. After starting the year with three straight wins over not good teams. A rookie quarterback, Jacoby Brissette and then not tua. So Seattle might have been one of the pumpkin teams of the year. It's concerning a little bit on. In terms of just, you know, their defense is very problematic. It could hurt Kenneth Walker's opportunities to run the football as the game goes on. I'm not saying you're benching him. I'm just saying.
Jason Moore
But he's. But he's catching passes. The last time they played San Francisco, eight catches.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
For Ken Bone it's the. Seattle is actually if you're not a Seahawks fan, they're fantastic. Like this is what we want. We want a team that can be a really high powered offense. We like pretty much everyone in this offense and I know that their defense is going to give up a bunch of points.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, they're. They're falling apart. They started the season looking really good. Their defense was. Was tough. They had some easier matchups but they are really falling apart. I don't know the situation and the details but four days ago they, you guys know, they cut. They straight up cut their leading tackler on defense, the guy with the most tackles on their defense. They just cut him. And I don't know any of the details there because he was too productive. He was like, you're, you know, you're.
Jason Moore
Trying to get fantasy points here.
Andy Holloway
So it's great for fantasy, but a wild storyline.
Jason Moore
And DK Metcalf is back. Like, he's practicing in full. That's a really big deal for the offense.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I mean, on the course of the season, the 49ers have been very difficult to throw on. But DK Metcalf, you know, he's. He's got experience. Against San Francisco, being a divisional opponent. I think DK is actually a pretty good play this week.
Jason Moore
The. Oh, man, that was the 11 target game where he only had three catches for 48, where it was like he just kept missing.
Andy Holloway
Well, he had. Didn't he have a touchdown call back in that one?
Jason Moore
That one I don't remember. I remember Falcon. San. Okay, but just so many near catches. 11 targets turning into three for DK Metcalf is weird. The biggest question on Seattle is JSN, like, do you. Do you chase after the potential break it, like, was that a breakout performance? I mean, seven for 180 and two.
Mike Wright
You've been happy twice in nine weeks, for what it's worth.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. And that was with DK gone, DK Metcalf back. I'm not, I'm not playing Jackson Smith.
Mike Wright
It's a tough cornerback matchup in the slot. It does make me nervous. Debo and Juan Jennings.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Mike Wright
I think we're all about Mike.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Mike Wright
Has Juwan Jennings as the start of the week. Ricky Piersol.
Jason Moore
Yeah, it's fine.
Mike Wright
He's a dart throw ish type of guy. He was 4 for 73 with the big touchdown last week. Would you play Ricky Piersol or Rashad Bateman?
Andy Holloway
Ooh, that one's interesting. I like Piers All. I think he's. He's got great hands. I could see that Pittsburgh, Baltimore game going. Starting slow, starting defensive, and then ending the game with, you know, some huge. Some huge stuff.
Jason Moore
I'd go. I'd go huge for upside against Cincinnati.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I'd play the kind of number one versus the number three, but Piersol.
Jason Moore
Versus Bateman, I think that's. That's very.
Mike Wright
I think if Kittle was to miss due to the hamstring, really steps up. But we'll see CMC again. Heavily. Heavily. Very high odds of scoring a touchdown. Let's Put it that way.
Jason Moore
But the point being of, like, you know, over, under at 48. We'll take that Geno Smith passing yard line at 247. I mean, I expect a pretty rapid moving game and I expect both teams to score.
Mike Wright
Brock Purdy, is he an option? What Quarterback?
Andy Holloway
Sure.
Mike Wright
What quarterback do you think he is on the year?
Andy Holloway
Oh, nine.
Jason Moore
No, I'd go higher than that. I'll go like six. He's eight right in the middle.
Mike Wright
He has not had a finish inside the top five, but he's been 8, 7, 6, 8, 7, 5. Those have been his best performances.
Andy Holloway
I think Brock Purdy is a really good start this week. There's a lot of quarterbacks, you know, like my start of the week, C.J. stroud. If I had Brock Purdy or C.J. stroud, I think I'd go Brock Purdy. This matchup against Seattle, you expect him to have success.
Mike Wright
Are we done with Geno Smith as a stream? Are you guys picking a different week?
Jason Moore
Not done.
Mike Wright
But this quarterback on the year is Geno Smith, by the way.
Andy Holloway
Oh, gosh. I feel like that's got to be 14.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I think he's high in QB2 right now.
Mike Wright
QB9.
Jason Moore
What?
Mike Wright
Yeah, but I mean, I needed you don't.
Andy Holloway
He started hot.
Mike Wright
That's no bye week.
Jason Moore
Oh, okay. Okay.
Mike Wright
No, I mean, he didn't play last week, so I guess that is a bye week. I'm not doing good on the buys today. I'm gonna be honest with you. They're all over the place. You know, I need a bye week to get my buys correct.
Jason Moore
Yeah. When do we instate that?
Mike Wright
Oh, do we get a buy? Yeah, and we just, like, sit Al Borland out here to just play the harmonica.
Jason Moore
Take over. I have to raise the chairs.
Mike Wright
I've often thought about an episode when we're all gone. Did you just say we have to raise the cheat?
Jason Moore
I took a cheap shot.
Andy Holloway
I love it.
Jason Moore
I got Jeremy to laugh. So that makes it good.
Andy Holloway
That was good.
Mike Wright
I have thought about. Well, the Deucers are now ranking.
Jason Moore
Oh, you're ranking jokes.
Mike Wright
They're now ranking jokes.
Jason Moore
I got a nine from the Falcon. Thank you.
Mike Wright
I've often thought about just doing an episode when we all, you know, we're all out and just having three bears and just. But they make the Deucers. It's just dead silent. No, it's just dead silent.
Jason Moore
It's dead silent first with the camera switching.
Mike Wright
Camera switching. They have to do it all 60 minutes. It's like when. Yeah, exactly. Who's the actor for this song. Just keeps going. Nick Offerman. You remember when he sat on YouTube?
Andy Holloway
Oh, yeah. And he's drinking whistles of Whiskey.
Mike Wright
It was 10 hours.
Andy Holloway
Was it really?
Mike Wright
I looked it up. 10 hours of sitting there sipping whiskey by a fire.
Jason Moore
I mean, he had to have taken a break.
Mike Wright
No, no, no.
Andy Holloway
He had to, you know, take a tinkle.
Jason Moore
Yeah, you can't drink that much whiskey.
Andy Holloway
I mean, if you're not drinking and sitting.
Mike Wright
He's sipping. He's just nursing it.
Andy Holloway
It's still got to go somewhere.
Mike Wright
Well, I mean, I don't know.
Jason Moore
Too much whiskey. Gotcha.
Mike Wright
Maybe I missed it.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, that's what they say. I'm a swish. Mike. Too much whiskey. Gotta take a piskey. Oh, you're only getting a six and a two over there from Deucer's Alley. Those guys have no taste. They just.
Jason Moore
All right, they have no taste.
Mike Wright
They also have nothing to do if they're ranking jokes. Kansas City nine and oh, Buffalo eight and two. The Draft King sportsbook line, Buffalo minus two. The over under is 46. First impressions of this game. Who wins it?
Andy Holloway
Oh, Buffalo is going to absolutely demolish the Chiefs.
Jason Moore
Ooh, that's. That's spicy demolish. I don't mind calling for the win. You're going demolish?
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I mean, I don't think they're going to blow them.
Jason Moore
No.
Mike Wright
Dalton Kincaid.
Andy Holloway
I don't think they're going to blow them out in the, in the end score, but I think they will. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. Not a hedge you can't use.
Mike Wright
Or demolish. And then say this.
Andy Holloway
An explanation. I think that they will completely control the game. I think they will look better on offense, defense, special teams. In the end, maybe it's, you know, a close score, but like, you'll watch this game and be like, the Bills. The Bills are controlling this game. They're the better team. And I think they. I think they win handedly.
Mike Wright
Wait, win handedly?
Andy Holloway
Yeah. That's not a blowout. I'm not saying they're going to win by 14 points.
Mike Wright
Don't be mad at us when you start it with demolish. Use the word demolish. What do you mean by demolish?
Andy Holloway
I mean you're going to win by one. I mean that when you've got an undefeated team in Kansas City that hasn't yet had a scoreboard, say negative one. They're going to go to Buffalo and they're going to get a rude awakening because the Chiefs aren't that great.
Mike Wright
What's the final score, Jason?
Andy Holloway
Final score will be 24 to 16.
Jason Moore
Okay, I'll take the Chiefs.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I think the problem. Chiefs will probably win it. Of course.
Andy Holloway
Big ref over here would always say that.
Jason Moore
Let's see. So the Chiefs have allowed 24 points twice. The Bengals put up 25 and the Bucks put up 24 three times.
Andy Holloway
3 this Week in Buffalo.
Jason Moore
Okay. All right.
Mike Wright
Demolish James Cook is going to have a hard time running inside against the. That's my concern is that you are. You have a. Either a missing or casted Amari Cooper. You have no Dalton Kincaid. You have no Keon Coleman, which you have a running game that's going to be stifled. You're going to be dinking and dunking with Cook in the running game.
Jason Moore
Kincaid was ruled out.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
Did we say it officially?
Mike Wright
Yeah, he's gone. Cook and Shakir are both dink and dunk options in the passing game. That's my biggest concern with. Are you both taking scoring enough points? Yeah, I think the Chiefs, I think it's close. I don't think they're going to demolish them, but I think it'll be close and you know, it'll be a tough place to go in and play. The Bills have found a way to win. I definitely think they can win the ball game and you know, this is not the game. This is not the Bills Chiefs matchup of days of old with Tyreek and Diggs and. And the high flying high scoring affair. The over unders 46 is fine.
Jason Moore
How do you feel about. How do you feel about Hopkins? So his reception line right now is at four and a half. But which. It's a tiny. It's a small but. But juju Smith Schuster is practicing in full. I knew he should be back.
Mike Wright
I knew for sure that Hopkins was going to take a step back from the previous week in terms of targets and production. You know, how do I feel about him? Not great. I mean wide receiver, two, three range to me.
Jason Moore
Okay.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I mean I would take the over on four and a half receptions. You know, towards the end of this game it's going to become Mahomes versus Allen and the defenses I think will start the game strong and the quarterbacks will finish the game strong. That's often how it happens with, with these type of players. You know, Mahomes passing lines at one and a half touchdowns. I mean your start of the week. Mike Kareem Hunt. I love this week. I think that the place that you do beat the Bills is on the ground and Hunt has just been his fewest since, you know, his first week in action. He didn't even hit 50% of snaps. If you take that one out, he hasn't had fewer than 22 opportunities in a single game. He's, he's a great play in this matchup.
Mike Wright
He's Mike's start of the week. Patrick Mahomes has a touchdown prop of one and a half. You know him getting more weapons back is good. Kelsey is certainly a start and been playing well.
Jason Moore
Are you playing Stroud against Dallas? Are you going to play Mahomes against Buffalo?
Mike Wright
I'm not. I'll play Stroud. I agree with Nico Collins bag not being on, you know.
Jason Moore
Yeah, better match.
Mike Wright
We'll get into Sunday Night Football in a minute and but we'll first take a break.
Andy Holloway

Andy Holloway
And 6 the Chargers 6 and 3.
Mike Wright
Games in LA DraftKings sportsbook line Los Angeles - 1 1/2 the over under is 48. Every week feels like a must win right now for Cincinnati. It would obviously be very good for like Jamar Chase went wild last week, but his numbers with and without Higgins over time it's always better when Higgins is back. I hope Higgins plays because the, you know, the Chargers are a good defense and you need more weapons to kind of allow them to have to pick their poison. So I love the opportunity for Higgins. If he's in there as a wide receiver too, I hope he's back. Chase Brown, his rushing lines at 62 and a half. He's been a beast. RB5 since week four. What decisions do you have to make on that side? Is it get sicky? Is it Higgins? Are those the two big ones?
Jason Moore
Yeah. For Cincinnati. McBurrow is in. He's just. He's playing too well. Obviously Chase is in or both. I'll say both Chases are in and it's then T. Higgins, if T plays, I'm going to play him. It's sketchy. Hopefully we'll know before Sunday night or Sunday morning. I should say that for sure T. Higgins is projected to play, but if he is out, then I'll go back to Mike Kasicki. It didn't work. The production went to. What was it? Tanner Hudson, but the targets were still there. It was nine targets. And if you're going to give a tight end nine targets, I'm going to. I'm going to bet on that more than not.
Mike Wright
Jason, who demolishes who by a couple of points here.
Andy Holloway
You know, I've. I've got the Bengals winning despite being the road underdogs. But I am, I'm in love with this game. I was very sad. You want this game, I want this game. I was very sad that this was Sunday Night Football. Great for watching it. But from creating our DK lineup, I wanted players in this game. I think, you know, over the course of the season I've brought it up. The Chargers are the type of team that hits the under over and over and over or under and under and under, whichever way you want to look at it. This game with the way that Joe Burrow has been playing, I don't think the Chargers are going to be able to impose their slow it down will against the Bengals. I think they're letting Herbert throw the ball more.
Jason Moore
Are they going to get pulled into a high pace game?
Andy Holloway
That's what I'm saying. I think they're going to get pulled into a higher pace game. That's how I project this matchup. That means I really want a lot of the pieces here. It's hard to take an over of 48 for a Chargers game. That just hasn't been how they're playing football. But I. Some image just is like I think it happens, you know, Gus Edwards I think has a good chance at a touchdown. If you're. If you're in one of those bi week injury areas where you're looking for a, you know, every week there's a team or two that needs a waiver running back that you have to start. Gus Edwards would be my pick this week.
Jason Moore
Did you mention jk?
Andy Holloway
No, I haven't.
Jason Moore
So JK Dobbins. It's just something to monitor. We don't know what happened, but he didn't practice on Thursday. Listed as personal. So I mean you don't expect it's injury but you've got to pay attention to it. We also just got an update here from Zach Taylor. Coach Taylor saying he expects T. Higgins to play. They'll say, and they said we'll see about Orlando Brown Jr. Yeah, this one.
Mike Wright
Is, you know, I like Herbert having the opportunity against the Cincinnati defense that's been really, really bad against quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends. My only worry is that if the Chargers defense has, you know, they're at home and if they have their kind of game and they are able to slow down what Cincinnati does best, then we could be disappointed with the outcome. The over under is 48, but they're number three against running backs. They're number three against tight ends. Yeah, I mean I love how Burrow's playing though.
Andy Holloway
The last. Their defense has just been so good. They gave up the last week. The chargers gave up 17 points the week before, 10 points the week before, eight points. Those are phenomenal. However, you have to take it with a grain of salt. The matchups were the New Orleans Saints.
Mike Wright
Yeah. With nobody.
Andy Holloway
The Cleveland Browns, you know, with Jameis playing Jameis ball that week, and then the Tennessee Titans. So I don't think they've really been.
Jason Moore
Tested the way that Joe Burrows at the beginning.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, Joe Burrow is going to come in here. However, their offense has been getting it going. Their offense, you know, they've scored 27 points two weeks in a row, 26 before that. A huge being back I think really helps them. The fact that Huge was gone, got Will Disley more involved in the passing. I just, I really like this game.
Mike Wright
The hardest part is that McConkey is like, even if the offense is getting going, because of the nature of his role in this offense, if he doesn't score a touchdown, I think you get really disappointed. I mean, the last five games you've been thrilled. You were thrilled. In week eight, he was number two wide receiver, showed what he was capable of. Two touchdowns, 111 yards. But he was also a good part of the offense. The weeks surrounding it where he was the wide receiver, 36 and 37, still seven targets, didn't get into the end zone. Kind of doing the PPR thing.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. On average right now he's averaging four receptions and 55 yards. That's not. That's just not going to be a happy game. So you need the touchdowns which have come. He's. He's been looked to around the goal line. And I think for that reason, and with a higher over under, you can play him here. But I do agree, if you don't get a touchdown, I don't think you're going to be happy with lad.
Mike Wright
I want a happy game. You know what I mean? We all want happy games.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Who would you start between LAD and Quentin Johnson?
Mike Wright
I'd start Quentin.
Andy Holloway
I would as well.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
I'm always going to make that choice because I just think we know the big plays and the touchdowns are both in the cards for Quinton.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, those are more likely. I mean, Quentin Johnston's types of targets are farther down the field. Lad, McConkey, a lot of those are the short move the sticks type of throws that are important but not great.
Mike Wright
Now, Kyle says that this episode today is teaching him that you have very, very high standards for fantasy. The 4 for 55, you're not. You're thinking that's, that's not a happy game.
Andy Holloway
Correct.
Mike Wright
And then the wide receiver, the running back, 23 love it.
Andy Holloway
Let me teach Kyle some because I don't know how many times I got to say this, because this is like the 20th time. If you don't score 10 fantasy points, you're not happy. You're not happy with any player ever.
Mike Wright
No single digits.
Andy Holloway
And if you go 4 for 55, I mean, you didn't. You didn't goose. Oh, okay, that's great. But did you. Yeah. You didn't get 10 fantasy points. That's my barometer for a happy or an unhappy manager. And I think that's. I think that's true.
Mike Wright
Now, hold on. Our technically speaking, our bus metric for consistency charts is 7 points or fewer, but that's full bust.
Andy Holloway
Right.
Mike Wright
So you're saying there's a line between unhappy.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Mike Wright
It goes happy, unhappy, bust.
Jason Moore
Correct. Because we measure bust good and great. Right. Do we need an un.
Andy Holloway
Talking about for the truth series? Yeah. Yeah.
Jason Moore
Do we need an unhappy one in there between busting. Good.
Mike Wright
Is it the meh zone?
Andy Holloway
So here's the funny thing. We actually do have that, and it's literally called the meh. We don't bring it up on that episode, but in our docs, it's listed as meh games. And they're not.
Jason Moore
No, it's not 100%.
Mike Wright
Wow.
Andy Holloway
It's not calculated in. Those are kind of taken out of the score because they're meh.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
But they exist and they are met.
Mike Wright
And now we have clarity. All right. Monday night football. Houston six and four going to Dallas. They're seven and a half point road favorites against Dallas in Dallas. The over unders 42. Dallas is an implied point total of 17 this line. And you know, the Houston being such heavy favorites on the road in Dallas, it tells you how holistically bad Dallas is.
Jason Moore
He's screaming about the moon.
Mike Wright
Oh, okay.
Andy Holloway
I didn't. Did I say the moon?
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
I couldn't.
Jason Moore
I know.
Mike Wright
Understand it. But I understand it now, now that.
Jason Moore
You know what he's saying. It's going to be great.
Mike Wright
Gonna be.
Jason Moore
Huh?
Mike Wright
I'm great.
Andy Holloway
That's Jerry. Huh?
Mike Wright
That's sticking. All right. Houston -7 and a half over under 42. Houston gets Nico Collins back. Dallas made the choice to bring Cooper Rush back his passing line 182 after last week's performance. That seems high. You know, you need CD Lamb to be peppered with targets and created opportunities. End arounds screen passes. The red zone target last week without the sun is a touchdown. Right. You have to look at that and say he scores on that play. He was Wide open the play was to him. But gosh darn it, the sun, the home field advantage. The home field advantage really turned on you. So Lamb is. You're not going to sit lamb down just because of this move. That is not happening. We now know that Rico Dowdle is the guy.
Jason Moore
It's a little too late.
Mike Wright
Daylight dollar short.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Like if you would have done this week one, your team is a lot.
Mike Wright
Is this validation for you? Do you feel a semblance of validation?
Andy Holloway
My face says of course it is.
Jason Moore
Oh, thank you.
Andy Holloway
I don't know in what world you could live where this isn't validation. For Mike's take on Rico Dowdley.
Mike Wright
It took nine weeks for them to decide he's Than a cooked.
Jason Moore
It took 90 weeks for Mike McCarthy to stand up to Jerry Jones.
Andy Holloway
Sure, that might be what it was.
Jason Moore
Because he's like, I'm getting fired anyways. I'm going to play the better player.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I mean, I completely agree. Rico's looked pretty good. Now, this is a tough matchup. It is. So I think he's, I think he's a flex option.
Mike Wright
Total yards for Rico versus Jerry Jones's age.
Andy Holloway
Oh, I'm taking Jerry Jones's age for sure.
Jason Moore
Well, that's. Oh, that is very Rico.
Andy Holloway
Rico is not crossing 100.
Mike Wright
He's 82. He's 82 years old.
Jason Moore
His face doesn't look.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I thought he was looking good for 100. Instead he's looking bad for 82.
Mike Wright
Looking bad for 82 is a top five insult on the earth. Planet Earth. Of all the things you could be told.
Jason Moore
And look, it is, it feels good. It feels very validating that they're officially saying, hey, Rico is going to be our guy. He averages three receptions a week. That's what you're hoping for is the. I mean, I just gave the Audrey estimate. I'm expecting double digit carries in that you're hoping between 60 and 70 rushing yards. Hopefully you get that in the tough matchup. Plus then you just juice it up with maybe four receptions for, you know, 15 to 25 yards. And you're, you're okay with that, but it's going to be tough.
Andy Holloway
The one thing I do love that we saw last week was that he had three targets, three receptions because we weren't sure Rico had been involved in the passing game. And so that had been great. But now with the backup quarterback coming in, you're not sure if they're going to check it down or not. Rico only played 52% of the snaps, still had the three receptions. So I, you know, he's fine. He is fine.
Mike Wright
He's fine. He. He's an every down player on the team. You don't want to watch right now. CJ Stroud on the year. Do you know what he is in points per game? Because I got that number for you.
Andy Holloway
Points per game.
Mike Wright
And let's just say it's been a number that has been working its way through today's episode. Oh, he's the quarterback.
Andy Holloway
14. 23.
Mike Wright
23.
Andy Holloway
23.
Mike Wright
That's what I was going to say. 23. That's been enough. That is.
Jason Moore
I mean I was going to say that but I said something else demolished.
Mike Wright
He. Look, he's your start of the week, Jason. The matchup against this Dallas defense, the return of Nico. My only worry on him underperforming your expectations. This game is not needing to.
Andy Holloway
Right. Is that it becomes a complete Joe Mixon game.
Mike Wright
They slowed Detroit down like their defense looked really, really good. Five picks against Jared Goff in that offense. What can they do against Cooper Rush?
Andy Holloway
I agree they might not necessarily need him, but I do genuinely think that Nico being back. Nico will get his. Nico will get a over the top touchdown in this game at some point. And that goes to C.J. stroud. That's why I'm okay playing him. Nico is obviously for all of us a top 10 wide receiver play this week. He's going to be in.
Mike Wright
I'm really. I like him a lot.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Because you ever do the move where you trade for somebody and then you go watch all their highlights.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I've done that.
Mike Wright
I did that.
Andy Holloway
That's not good.
Mike Wright
I went and did that. I went and watched all of the.
Andy Holloway
Nico never going back to the pants store.
Mike Wright
So mixing. Of course. Nico. Of course.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
You can play Stroud. Yeah. And Tank is fine. And don't play the slowest man on the planet.
Andy Holloway
That would be Dalton Schultz.
Mike Wright
That is Dalton Schultz who has a.
Andy Holloway
DK receiving line of only 33 yards.
Mike Wright
You ever seen people run in place? That's what he looks like to me.
Jason Moore
It's so funny to me that like Dalton Schultz of anyone to just be getting the hammer elbow drop from on top of the cage. He's like. He's Dalton Schultz.
Mike Wright
I know, man.
Jason Moore
Leave him alone. He's a doctor.
Mike Wright
All right.
Jason Moore
He was 3 for 66 in that game against Detroit.
Mike Wright
I will be rooting to see Trey Lance in this game. I have to admit.
Jason Moore
My man.
Andy Holloway
Oh yeah, me too. And I did my man.
Mike Wright
By the way, Jake Ferguson out with an Illness right now. Not out for the game, out for practice, and not really somebody you can rely on.
Jason Moore
Is he down with cooperitis?
Mike Wright
Yeah, I would be down. Yeah. I'd be like, my stomach hurts. The sun, the moon.
Jason Moore
Where's the moon, Jerry?
Mike Wright
All right, it's time.
Andy Holloway
Well, go ahead, Jay. Before we move on to the Fantasy Face Off, I wrote a note down. I'm not feeling great about my Bills prediction. Oh, yeah.
Jason Moore
You're pulling back on demolished.
Andy Holloway
I'm pulling back on demolish.
Mike Wright
Oh, man.
Jason Moore
Are you pulling back on win?
Andy Holloway
No, I do think they pull out. I do think they pull out the win, but.
Mike Wright
Oh, I was going to joke that you were going to backtrack to the point where they win by negative four.
Andy Holloway
No, it's going to be. It's going to be tough. I. You know, I think I.
Jason Moore
Yes, they're. Because the Chiefs offense is not great. Their defense is top tier.
Andy Holloway
I just forgot how many weapons that the Bills were missing.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
At the beginning, I was so excited we were going through giving the Chiefs the first loss of the season.
Mike Wright
You just.
Andy Holloway
That I just jumped the gun and I gotta. I gotta be. I gotta be a little bit more intellectually honest. So this is me, you know what? Taking my. You know.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it's good. It's humility.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
An immediate L. They're pre apology until.
Andy Holloway
No, no, no. If they demolish them, this will be a gigantic L. Now I should have just tried to get lucky.
Mike Wright
Okay, now we can move on. Here we go.
Andy Holloway
Fantasy Face off, presented by DraftKings.
Mike Wright
All right. Last week I was able to end up on top 112. Jason 109.
Jason Moore
Remember the gnome zone, those good times?
Mike Wright
Mike 94. And he gets to spin the wheel. Before we reveal this week's lineups.
Andy Holloway
Wheel of Shame.
Jason Moore
All right. Spin it.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Mall Cop and Iceman.
Mike Wright
Saw something with pizza.
Jason Moore
Pizza face.
Andy Holloway
Free Bird, Freebird. Let's Free Bird.
Mike Wright
Remember that beard with the white hair last week, Mike?
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
And how it kind of lived on me and Jason for a while.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Time to climb in.
Andy Holloway
Oh, man, I could see the white hair.
Mike Wright
I just saw some white hair.
Andy Holloway
Oh, fantastic.
Jason Moore
To be fair, I didn't know it was gonna do that.
Mike Wright
Well. I. You know what? I bought this a long time ago, so I can't even fit. We really. Every time we buy something, we have to wonder.
Jason Moore
I literally can't see anything, guys.
Mike Wright
That's fine.
Jason Moore
You can't like. I like. You can't. My eyes don't reach the eye holes. The face is too here's the rules. I'll send the thing over.
Mike Wright
You can send it over.
Jason Moore
Okay.
Mike Wright
Or you can read it, and then you have to climb back into that disgusting mask.
Jason Moore
Oh, yeah. This thing is everywhere.
Andy Holloway
I think you can wear it just like that. That's looking real good. Oh, man. You're just blowing that hair everywhere.
Mike Wright
We ate those beards, Mike. We ate them.
Andy Holloway
Eat up, Eagle.
Jason Moore
I am Free Bird.
Mike Wright
All right. My quarterback this week, as Mike figures out what to do. I'm going with Russell Wilson. I'm taking Wilson at 5,900.
Andy Holloway
My quarterback is Russell Wilson. I'm taking Russell Wilson at 5900.
Jason Moore
Guess what? I have Russell Wilson Unlimited.
Andy Holloway
Dang it.
Mike Wright
You guys both sounded like you weren't going to do that earlier this week. Unlimited.
Jason Moore
It was a ruse. I've had him in all week.
Mike Wright
I know. Okay, my running backs. This week, guys, I'm going with a couple teams playing at home. Devon Achan, 7200 at home against Las Vegas. Just too good of a matchup. And I'm taking David Montgomery. I'm going the Montgomery route at home against Jacksonville in a game they should blow them out. I'm taking Montgomery over Gibbs in this 6500.
Andy Holloway
Wow. I am going. How is this supposed to work?
Mike Wright
Well, people with normal heads, there are eye holes.
Andy Holloway
There's an eye hole up at the top.
Jason Moore
This is my forehead. That's my forehead, dude. Like what? All right, go ahead.
Mike Wright
You can emerge for breathing purposes.
Andy Holloway
So, Andy, we're identical so far.
Mike Wright
Are you serious?
Andy Holloway
I'm serious. I have achan and Montgomery, 7200 and 6500. We'll see if we can do the first ever perfect match lineup. Well, it's never going to happen.
Jason Moore
We're very close because I have Devon HN at 2,200. But I'm going to take the better. Oh, you went Detroit Lions running back. I will take Jameer Gibbs.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Okay. All right. So that's ironic, though. Same matchup. My wide receivers. Jason, we'll put it to the test.
Andy Holloway
We obviously all have Pickens.
Mike Wright
We got George Pickens.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
I got Puka Nakua against New England at 7300. Whoo.
Andy Holloway
Spicy.
Mike Wright
I've got Calvin Ridley at home. 6200 against Minnesota.
Andy Holloway
Wow. I really do like those players quite a bit. I would say I like them even more than my two who I like, which is DK Metcalf at 6500 and Juwan Jennings at 5300.
Mike Wright
Along with Mike is a Dead Man.
Jason Moore
I do have Calvin Ridley and George Pickens. But I went Cortland Sutton against the Atlanta Falcons at 5,900.
Mike Wright
Sutton. Yeah. Sutton's a good price. He was in my lineup before I pivoted to Ridley. I might regret it. Davis Allen 2,500 at tight end. Too cheap for to save some money. And my flex is actually. I'm doubling up on tight end. I'm taking T.J. hawkinson. The PP, the PPR machine.
Andy Holloway
The PP machine. The PP machine. D.J. hawkinson. Okay.
Mike Wright
Allen Hawkinson and the Browns defense against New Orleans at 2600.
Andy Holloway
Okay. I have. I've got Dennis Allen. Davis Allen as well. No, Dennis Allen at tight end, 2500. I've got in my flex. I've got Kareem Hunt against Buffalo. Mike start of the week at 6700 and crap at the bottom. The Titans 2300. Their defense at home against a great Minnesota offense. I'm just hoping Darnold can.
Mike Wright
Were they the cheapest?
Andy Holloway
I don't think they were the cheapest.
Jason Moore
They're very low though that.
Andy Holloway
They're only 2300.
Mike Wright
Mike, your final three.
Jason Moore
Dennis Allen, aka Davis Allen. Then I do have Juwan Jennings as my flex at 5300. And I went the Cleveland Browns.
Mike Wright
Yeah, that's what I got.
Andy Holloway
Your guys's defense really outdid my defense last week or.
Mike Wright
Yeah, that helped a lot.
Andy Holloway
And I feel like I would rather have the Browns and the.
Mike Wright
Neither of you guys went. The peepee machine.
Andy Holloway
No one went to. Only you went with the peepee machine. Oh, man.
Mike Wright
Oh, geez.
Andy Holloway
Oh, man. I preferred Hercules, but PT machine.
Mike Wright
We've done the Wheel of Shame for a while. Mike. Where is this on the scale?
Jason Moore
I mean, it's really not that bad.
Mike Wright
Like the bird is the word.
Jason Moore
It's just. I literally can't. It's impossible to even get it close to being able to have visibility.
Mike Wright
There have been multiple times this year where we've looked through some stuff, but.
Jason Moore
When I emerge, it goes in my.
Mike Wright
Mouth for Wheel of Shame and we've had like people put. Put it on and go like, would this fit Mike's head? Like we. We don't. Like they don't make.
Jason Moore
After this. I need at least someone else to verify that this is ridiculous.
Mike Wright
Or I put it on. I could see through the eyes.
Andy Holloway
It's a real big head size issue, Mike. I mean that's all this is. What we need to do is we need to get. You know how there's those shoe stretchers. You put the. We just need to get a. Do they make?
Mike Wright
Is it a basketball?
Jason Moore
It's not even close.
Andy Holloway
It's not even remotely close to you being able to see.
Mike Wright

Fantasy Footballers Podcast Summary: Week 11 Matchups + Bringing the Hammer, Wheel of Shame
Date: November 15
In this episode of the Fantasy Footballers Podcast, hosts Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike "The Fantasy Hitman" Wright dive deep into Week 11 NFL matchups, analyze key player performances, discuss fantasy football strategies, and engage in their beloved Wheel of Shame segment. The conversation is rich with insights, strong opinions, and actionable advice for fantasy football enthusiasts aiming to dominate their leagues.
The hosts kick off the episode by dissecting the disappointing performance of Jaden Daniels and Saquon Barkley in last night's Thursday Night Football matchup.
Mike Wright (04:13): "Jaden Daniels was down at seven points, had thrown a pick. It was not looking good. The team inexplicably went for it on fourth down when they could have kicked the field goal to take the lead... the single dumbest thing I've seen in the NFL this year."
Andy Holloway (07:19): "Jeremy and I are facing each other and in both of those he has Jaden Daniels. So I'm playing against Jaden Daniels."
Jason Moore (08:25): "He's just not as top tier. He'll give you what, 65% of Saquon's performance."
The trio laments the poor decision-making in crucial game moments and examines the implications for fantasy managers who have invested in these players.
The discussion highlights Barkley's resurgence under a solid offensive line but questions the undervaluation of backup running backs like Blake Corum and Will Shipley.
Mike Wright (08:53): "DeAndre Swift is successful in Philly. He's not Saquon. Devin Singletary had some success in Houston. He's not Joe Mixon. Like the big backs."
Andy Holloway (09:25): "Out running backs matter."
The hosts emphasize the importance of securing reliable running backs and the challenges of finding quality backups in fantasy football.
The performance of top wide receivers facing tough defenses is scrutinized, particularly focusing on targets and receptions.
This segment underscores the fluctuating value of wide receivers versus running backs in the current fantasy landscape.
The hosts update listeners on the latest injuries and player statuses affecting fantasy lineups.
Mike Wright (13:08): "Tank Bigsby to return to practice... Brian Thomas Jr. still limited with the chest injury."
Jason Moore (16:00): "It's going to be a new... but he isn't going to do that."
Key highlights include updates on Tyreek Hill's injury status, Amari Cooper's wrist issues, and the emerging roles of players like Rico Dowdle.
Anthony Richardson's performance against the Jets' stout defense is a focal point.
Andy Holloway (25:01): "Anthony Richardson has big explosive upside plays down the field to Adnai Mitchell... I do caution a little bit swinging the pendulum too far."
Mike Wright (26:05): "I think he'll be pretty bad... Single-digit fantasy performances in his last five starts."
The hosts debate Richardson's reliability and recommend caution when considering him for starting lineups.
Analyzing the Denver Broncos' dominant defense against the struggling Atlanta Falcons.
Jason Moore (30:08): "Bo Nicks your stream of the week... I like Russell Wilson more than Bo Nicks this week."
Andy Holloway (36:04): "DK Metcalf, you know, he's got experience... I think DK is actually a pretty good play this week."
The discussion highlights the Broncos' defensive prowess and the potential of players like DK Metcalf in the matchup.
The podcast offers strategic advice on which players to start or sit based on recent performances and upcoming matchups.
Jason Moore (27:27): "I'm playing all the jets."
Andy Holloway (31:53): "I think Devin Adams has a good chance at a touchdown."
The hosts advocate for flexibility in lineups, suggesting players like Gus Edwards and Dalton Kincaid as strong flex options.
Debate surrounds the effectiveness of streaming quarterbacks like Geno Smith versus more reliable options.
Jason Moore (40:11): "I think he's high in QB2 right now."
Andy Holloway (40:03): "I think Brock Purdy is a really good start this week."
The conversation also touches on tight end strategies, recommending options like Quincy Johnson and Davis Allen.
A humorous segment where the hosts spin the Wheel of Shame, resulting in playful teasing and banter.
Jason Moore (66:48): "I am Free Bird."
Mike Wright (66:55): "You can't do that to people in white shoes."
The segment adds a light-hearted break from the intense analysis, showcasing the camaraderie among the hosts.
The hosts present their fantasy lineups, sharing rationale behind their choices and projections for Week 11.
Mike Wright (68:00): "Russell Wilson at 5,900."
Andy Holloway (70:30): "Starting Kareem Hunt at 6,700."
Jason Moore (71:15): "I'm expecting double-digit carries for Rico Dowdle."
Each host explains their picks, balancing player performance, matchup difficulty, and potential upside to maximize their fantasy scores.
As the episode wraps up, the hosts reaffirm their predictions and offer final tips for listeners to solidify their Week 11 lineups.
Andy Holloway (65:02): "Taking a little bit more intellectually honest. So this is me taking my humility."
Mike Wright (56:04): "If you don't score 10 fantasy points, you're not happy."
The emphasis remains on strategic decision-making, staying informed on player statuses, and maintaining flexibility to adapt to last-minute changes.
