I was in the trenches. And Mike and I just covered our faces. We didn't want to see Jason, and he just closed his laptop, got up and walked out and went home.

But this was kind of what we heard about Darius Geist, so we really need that MRI result. They thought it's not going to be terror. And then he was done for the season.

Brandon lefell suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon or feared to have suffered one. There are no wide receivers remaining for Derek Carr. Joe Flacco not expected back for Week 12. Lamar Jackson went 13 for 19. 150 passing yards, 27 carries.

That is most by a quarterback of all time.

And in my opinion, this was probably worst case scenario for Lamar Jackson in this game. He had a bad game. He didn't rush for a touchdown or throw for a touchdown and ended up at worst a quarterback one.

He had 117 rushing yards, which is like 5,000 passing yards.

Colt McCoy is a. As far as backups in the NFL, I think Colt McCoy is definitely one of the better QBs. I don't think Washington's season is absolutely destroyed. Probably if your hope was super bowl or bust. But I don't think that's. Colt McCoy is a massive downgrade for Adrian Peterson in the offense.

I would agree with that. I think it could be an upgrade just from volume. I mean, Peterson generally look like a volume type of situation. David Johnson 25 for 137, did not score, did not catch a bunch of passes, had two near. He had like a 50 yard run. That almost was a touchdown. Yes, he had a 57 yard touchdown called back on a holding. It was a very good game.

No, I'm not saying it wasn't a hold. I'm just saying if he had let go a second beforehand, it didn't. I don't think that was the reason David Johnson had to play. That's my point. Yeah, he looked great and just missed a couple huge plays at the wide receiver position. Ty Hilton 9 for 155 and 2. Mike brought it up last week. He was ready for Ty to pop. I'm not surprised that it happened when Eric Ebron had zero catches. It was a rotation from passing to four different tight ends or three different tight ends to now using your best weapon, Ty Hilton.

And he gets Miami next week, which is great. The schedule after that gets a little bit tougher for Ty, but at least he'll get some. You should get one more strong start.

This is what you see too, from rookies. They earn. And you brought that. You know that Comment up from Drew Brees. Trey Kwon's getting the trust. And when you have that many targets, my goodness, there's a trust level growing between Trey Kwon. He made some big time catches. The red zone touchdown. DJ Moore made a big time catch, becoming the favorite target of Cam Newton. And you know, if you look at Pro Football Focus talks about this, they've done the metrics, rookie wide receivers, they tend to be about 20% more productive in the second half of a season. Both of these guys are supremely talented. Both of these guys play on offenses that are capable. This is a great time. And I brought up last week, I was like, man, if you could steal DJ Moore in a dynasty league, last week was the time to do it. Same with Trey Kwan.

They're all like the last pick of the draft because you're like, oh, man, this is a great stash. But the second week one ends, you're dropping them because they don't do anything. And you can't afford to wait. What is it, week 11? You can't wait 11 weeks for DJ Moore. You got to pick them up like two weeks ago.

But now's the time. I mean, this is, this is the time where waiver wire AD guys like these two wide receivers and my start of the week are going to help you win championships. My or rising star of the week. My rising star is the aforementioned Gus Edwards. Gus Edwards took my. Alex Collins is like, oh, this is a great matchup. You're at home. If Lamar Jackson's playing, they're going to run the ball a lot. All of that was true, except it was all Gus Edwards. If you look and you go, who. Who's Gus Edwards? Gus Edwards is a player who was not with this team in the, in the beginning he didn't get his first action until week six. And this last week, 17 carries for 115 yards and a touchdown plus a two point conversion. This happened to coincide with, you know, his breakout happened to coincide with Lamar Jackson being on the field. I don't think that that is a coincidence. And if you listen to what John Harbaugh was saying about how his skill pairs perfect with Lamar Jackson, he says Gus was a North and South. He's a physical guy. He's been practicing really well. When those young guys start practicing well for weeks after weeks, we want to get them out there. He did great on special teams.

[Jason Moore]

There's 630,000 reasons why this was coming. We talked about it in the off season. That's how much money that Alex Collins is making this season. The loyalty built into his contract meant that he could be supplanted at any time for any reason whatsoever. I'm not saying he's irrelevant, but this is why you couldn't trust a season of guaranteed volume from Alex Collins is because this team is more loyal to production than the money invested in the position.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, I mean this was what Alex Collins did last year when he broke out late and then got the work. And this is what Harbaugh finished. He said to give us that type of back is very important. He gives us that back we probably didn't have earlier in the year.

But here, here's the problem.

We've got four different guys who have different styles. I think that's a plus for us.

Yeah, I'm going. My rising star is actually didn't have a ton of production, but it's Josh Adams, running back for the Philadelphia Eagles. Here's why he is my rising star. Corey clement played on 27 and a half percent of the snaps. Wendell Smallwood, the perceived pass catching running back for the Eagles, played on 7.8% of the snaps. Do I. If I need to remind you, the game script was very in favor of a pass catching running back and it seems like. Okay, well, Josh Adams will be scripted out, except he played on 55% of the snaps. Oh, that's nice. Look, the game script was out of control, but Josh Adams was still the primary running back. He only had seven carries because of, of course, the game script. But a reminder, the past four weeks, he's running at a clip of 6.6 yards per carry. He's their best running back. He got six targets.

Yeah.

[Mike Wright]

Yesterday. That's, that's why this is okay. Josh Adams was moving from interesting rookie, undrafted guy, climbing up the depth chart, getting some time. He looks like the best guy in the field to. He was the man in a really terrible game script for him. And I think that Josh Adams can be flexed with confidence.

[Jason Moore]

Doug Peterson has eyeballs. That's one of his greatest features.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, he's got eyeballs.

[Jason Moore]

He's not an idiot. Beautiful. All you have to do is watch Betty Davis eyes over the last three or four weeks. This is the carry on Johnson circumstance. Exactly the same thing where you watch a player. He offers you more, he's more powerful, he's faster, he hits the hole harder. Wendell Smallwood is Javorius Allen.

Whereas Josh Adams is bigger, faster, stronger, better. And inevitably was going to break a long play and then they wanted to have that potential on the field. You don't have that potential on the field with the other guys.

I glance down at red lights, gentlemen, okay? And thank you for qualifying. Also green lights. And so I'm looking, and I'm seeing him drive down the field on this final drive. I'm like, maybe I can hit this garbage. You know, the garbage button for Jason. One touchdown would mean Jason essentially has a chance. Has A chance because he's going up against Tyree Kill Jason basically ended up tied. You know, one touchdown. Maybe Tyreek doesn't score 10. And then I see like end zone interception in the game and he's actually less points than when the drive began. And this is 19 for 33. 156. No touchdowns, six rushing, three interceptions, six rushing yards. And this translated to everybody, obviously. I mean, it was a beat down. Alshon Jeffrey was, was terrible. I mean, this was beat down. I heard it described as, you know, they got punched in the face till you could see the white meat or something like that. I mean, it was just, it just was not a nice metaphor. Fitz. Magic, you're done again. Hit the bench.

[Mike Wright]

Now, are we assuming that Jameis is going to start you?

[Jason Moore]

I mean, I think you have, you have to.

[Mike Wright]

Will this be the most back and forth quarterback starts of all time?

[Jason Moore]

The only thing that would mean Jameis doesn't start is they lost again. And if Jameis gets hurt, his contracts guaranteed next year. That would be the only like sideways move where you, if, let's put it this way, if it's Magic starts, that's why, I mean, that's why. Otherwise you want to see what you got.

[Mike Wright]

Jameis similar, similar to what Ryan Fitzpatrick did when he would come off the bench. Jameis almost brought the Buccaneers back in this game.

[Jason Moore]

We've said you need to bring your quarterback in for one series and switch it in Tampa.

Yep. Then you'd win every game.

And you know, I don't know if this is a product of the Houston defense being stout and ultimately getting that pick six that, you know, took away a possession or. I mean, how do you feel as a Deshaun Watson owner in fantasy? Let me ask you that.

I think you're going to take your lumps and you're going to keep playing him. His, his upside is so tremendous that, you know, I realize you can have games like this. They're not. I don't think this is going to be the last terrible game desean Watson has. But with his rushing, his rushing touchdown capabilities, his passing, I'm still 100% fine with Deshaun Watson.

[Mike Wright]

I had voiced my concern for the absence of Will Fuller on the fantasy value of Deshaun Watson, he has had two games since that Miami outing, and both of those games are just over 200 yards, two touchdowns, one touchdown this past week. Will Fuller out of that offense is a massive, massive hit for desean Watson. I don't think you have to move away from him, but you should not be regularly expecting top three performances from him.

[Andy Holloway]

Right, but I mean, I mean, yeah, you brought it up two weeks ago. Over 200 yards, two touchdowns, plus almost 40 yards rushing, which is another hundred yards passing.

[Mike Wright]

Right. That's what I'm saying. You don't have to move away from him, but you should not. Don't think you had five touchdown Watson.

[Andy Holloway]

I mean, so James Conner faced Jacksonville this week, was shut down. Dalvin Cook, Latavius Murray face Chicago this week shut down. Do you have concerns for either side or do you expect both to bounce back? Green Bay for the Minnesota at home next week and then James Connor gets Denver.

I am still fine with Both, actually. I'm 100%. James Conner. Great. He's going to be fantastic. I'm not worried at all. Dalvin Cook. I do worry a little bit just because the offensive line when it comes to run blocking has not been very good. But next week at Green Bay or at home against Green Bay, I think is going to be fine.

They are. They're using him enough where he's, you know, it hasn't come the way we want. We want him to be on the field more. We want him to be targeted more. He's been okay because he's a great. But this is not the GM that drafted him. This is not the head coach that used them last year. And Evan Ingram, we've known this since when we were scouting him as a rookie last year. One of the worst blockers of all. I mean, this. You get him off the field if you're trying to run the ball and block well.

He watched a lot of Jimmy Graham.

[Mike Wright]
