Mike Wright
This is DD Westbrook here with the Jacksonville Jaguars and you're listening to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast.
Jason Moore
Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast coming to you from Draft.com Studios with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright.
Andy Holloway
Oh, Henry.
Mike Wright
Guys, I did it. I am the only one in America, nay, the world. I started Derrick Hendry in a fantasy football playoff matchup.
Andy Holloway
You did?
Jason Moore
Wow.
Mike Wright
Of course I didn't.
Jason Moore
Don't be fools.
Mike Wright
Because no one did.
Jason Moore
No, no, no, no, no, no. I tweeted out my condolences for all the number one seeds out there because those are the people that are probably playing against, against the people that have Derek Henry and had to start him. People that squeaked in the playoffs. I had people respond and say, oh, nobody's playing him. Derek Henry's gone. And then I started getting all the, all the screenshots, all the screenshots of like, dude, my team is awesome. Why is this happening? And the screenshot is. Well, he had a player and they had a player like Fournette versus Fournette versus Henry.
Mike Wright
Henry. Henry was only started in 14% of Yahoo. Leagues. What a performance. I mean, that was.
Andy Holloway
If you missed it. Derek Henry put his entire career into one game.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
219 yards. No more than that.
Jason Moore
38.
Andy Holloway
Sorry. 238 yards, four touchdowns. You know, should have had a fifth. I was gonna say fantasy owners that started and were real upset. They're real upset when he didn't get in for the fifth time in a single game. Nobody saw this coming. Nobody. And it was Jacksonville. If you had. If you had told me that Tennessee was playing Cincinnati, I would think about it. Derek Henry would have been in like a flex consideration. But the fact it was Jacksonville who had just shut out Indianapolis. A shocking performance. Absolutely shocking.
Jason Moore
It was unbelievable.
Mike Wright
It was amazing.
Jason Moore
You know, he tied the longest run in NFL history, which is the longest you can ever do. It was 99.9 yards. I mean, they were. They were inside their goal line. The ball was touching the.
Andy Holloway
The last words, as they say, the last words out of the mouth of the announcer before the run was. We've already had one safety in this game.
Jason Moore
Right.
Andy Holloway
So that was as opposite a safety as a play can get.
Jason Moore
That's true.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Congratulations, Derek.
Andy Holloway
That was 30 to 9.
Mike Wright
Quite the game.
Andy Holloway
30 to 9. Leonard Fournette owners are the opposite of the Derek Henry owner. Fournette had 14 carries for 36 yards. The only, literally the only player that you would have been happy you started was Dede Westbrook. Ten targets, seven receptions, 88 yards and a touchdown on the Jacksonville side. On the other side, Jonas Smith went out with an injury. Tajay Sharp went out with an injury. You were not happy with Marcus Mariota, who by the way, Jason, we were looking at consistency charts yesterday. I had moved him up in my rankings from about 22 to 18 because his fantasy finishes over the last four complete games. We're all.
Jason Moore
He was 7, 8th, 7th, 6th, 7th ranked on the week. He's, he's actually been very good and.
Andy Holloway
He didn't play poorly. It was just pure unadulterated Derek Henry.
Jason Moore
It was Derek Henry and then very end of the game on the fake Derek Henry. Corey Davis should have caught that touchdown.
Andy Holloway
Yes. Yeah, that would have helped.
Jason Moore
You were very disappointed if you, if you played Corey Davis.
Andy Holloway
Yes you were. Yes you were. Corey Davis had two catches for 21 yards and no, not good. What else is going on now? By the way, Derek Henry now the RB 19 and half point lead.
Jason Moore
So I think he was near the RB40. Here's what's crazy in the standard scoring. Standard scoring. He had about 85 fantasy points in 13 weeks and he scored almost 50 last night. So next season, coming into next season, do not buy the fool's gold of look at his end of year ranks. He had double digit touchdowns.
Mike Wright
It'll be fun. So Foot clan, if you, if you're new to the show this year, first welcome in. Thanks. Thanks for joining us. We're a year round show. We keep it going and one of the first things we do in around January is we have a series of shows that we call the Truth where we break down the ones and twos at the position and did these guys actually help you or they just happened to finish high because of something like Derek Henry. So it'll be, it'll be fun to break him down.
Jason Moore
Are you starting him next week?
Mike Wright
Nope.
Jason Moore
Not me either.
Mike Wright
Maybe one. I don't know. Man 204.
Jason Moore
I feel like Vrabel was legitimately angry at him when he's like go in. He's like Nah, man, I'm. Let him score. It's like I'm the head coach. You listen to what I tell you to do.
Andy Holloway
He would have scored a fit.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
If he was in all three carries.
Andy Holloway
Absolutely. One bit of news before we get into, in or out. Your update for injuries for the upcoming weekend. Kelvin Benjamin has been signed by the Kansas City Chiefs. It's a one year deal. It's for the remainder of this season. Then he'll be a free agent. And it's a great move by Kansas City in my opinion. It hurts your projections for Chris Conley, perhaps, because I think Kelvin will run ahead of Conley in a lot of formations.
Jason Moore
So I feel like it hurts. Really, Demetrius?
Mike Wright
I don't think he will at all. Yeah, I would think it hurts someone like Harris as well. I don't think that he's going to be anything more than depth.
Andy Holloway
I think Kelvin Benjamin, he'll be more than depth. You don't bring them in for this year.
Jason Moore
Would be a good pass catching tight end.
Mike Wright
I think you look at what happened to Manny Sanders in your division and go, man, we do not want to be caught in a situation where heading into the playoffs our top guy goes down without some depth. Well, that's how I feel.
Andy Holloway
It could also speak to. I mean, Sammy Watkins is hurt.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
And Sammy as well.
Andy Holloway
There's an opportunity. He's a bigger target and he was a valuable target over the last couple years for a rocket arm quarterback and Cam Newton. So it's a good move for the Chiefs. It's a low risk, high reward move for the Chief.
Jason Moore
I agree completely. Now, a lot of questions. I mean, when I posted about the ridiculous nature of having Tyree Kill and Kelvin Benjamin on the field next to each other because they're the exact opposites as players.
Mike Wright
Fire and molasses.
Jason Moore
Fire molasses, as they say. People were like, okay, but do we pick him up? No, I would. Not at all.
Andy Holloway
Because Calvin Benjamin could pick Tyreek Hill up.
Jason Moore
Oh, put him on his shoulder, certainly.
Mike Wright
What if the.
Jason Moore
But then there would be some play.
Mike Wright
No, the secret play is Kelvin Benjamin literally throws Tyreek Hill 20 yards into the air.
Jason Moore
It's.
Mike Wright
You can't stop it be impossible.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, yeah, Mike, that's true.
Jason Moore
I think about it. Kelsey could have done that.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Zeus, he didn't want to.
Jason Moore
Okay.
Andy Holloway
It's Friday.
Jason Moore
Foot Clan Friday.
Andy Holloway
Today's Foot Clan Friday. Winner is Eduardo Maseli. You win a $55 gift card. Congratulations.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Thank you for supporting the show. Everybody that supports this independent podcast@jointhefoot.com we appreciate you. We're here all year long and it's been a, it's been a fun ride thanks to you. So thank you very much. Congratulations, Eduardo. Let's get into. In or out.
Jason Moore
What's it going to be, McFly?
Mike Wright
Are you in or out?
Andy Holloway
Cam Newton, the shoulder injury, what do we expect? In or out?
Mike Wright
I expect him to play.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he's, he's going to be in, but you saw the limitations. Although with his running, he's still a great play.
Mike Wright
Melvin Gordon did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. So out.
Jason Moore
Out this week, in next week.
Andy Holloway
Carry on.
Mike Wright
Johnson, same as Melvin Gordon. Do you think, you think Kareem will play next week? Jay?
Jason Moore
I don't think he will.
Andy Holloway
Did you say Melvin Gordon out next week or in next week?
Jason Moore
No, I think Melvin Gordon plays next week. Big game against Kansas City.
Mike Wright
Isaiah Cruell trending towards game time decision after missing practice Wednesday or Thursday, I believe he will be out.
Jason Moore
I think it's good news for fantasy owners in the sense that sometimes you're tempted to play him.
Mike Wright
Yes, it's a fair point.
Andy Holloway
Duke Johnson. Duke Johnson Jr.
Mike Wright
So, Duke Johnson, this was breaking news right before we started the show. His grandmother has passed. He left the team. So for personal reasons and it sounds like he may not be back in time for the game. So out. I'm going to lean out for personal issues.
Andy Holloway
Doug Baldwin, wide receiver.
Jason Moore
He did not practice Thursday because of a hip injury, which is a new injury. Congratulations, Doug.
Mike Wright
Oh, goodness.
Andy Holloway
Could be a veterans day off. I'm going in.
Jason Moore
Yes. I'm going in as well. It's a Monday Night Football game for the Seahawks, which means this is like that Veterans Wednesday day of rest. I'm not too worried unless it comes out later today that he did not practice today.
Andy Holloway
If you had to decide between Baldwin and all that he has and hasn't been or David Moore for Monday night.
Jason Moore
Oh, gross.
Mike Wright
I'd still play Baldwin.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
So maybe you handcuff Baldwin with Moore if you can. Ty Hilton, shoulder injury, didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday.
Mike Wright
I believe that he will still play, though.
Jason Moore
I do as well.
Andy Holloway
Sammy Watkins, Ltd. Wednesday, Thursday, in or out?
Jason Moore
I'm going to go out because of.
Mike Wright
The Kelvin Benjamin, Kiki QT Ltd. With the hamstrings. You cannot play Kiki.
Jason Moore
No, nobody.
Andy Holloway
He is. He's a little bit frustrated. If you read, if you read what he said about this hamstring injury and it just popped. I know fantasy owners, you can say whatever you want, but he's pretty upset that it Keeps lingering. Desean Jackson.
Jason Moore
No, he's out. He's not practicing now. And there's reports that he might be out the rest of the season.
Andy Holloway
Eric Ebron.
Mike Wright
He will play.
Andy Holloway
He has been out with an illness. Evan Ingram, tight end Evan Ingram.
Mike Wright
Welcome back. Enjoy your 30% of snaps.
Andy Holloway
Well, he's been practicing in full at least.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
So he'll play.
Mike Wright
I think he will.
Andy Holloway
But you have low expectations due to all that.
Mike Wright
Yeah, until. Until Ingram shows that he's back to getting his regular targets and snaps. I don't think you.
Jason Moore
And by regular you mean last year's with a different coach, different regimes.
Mike Wright
No, I just mean earlier in the season.
Jason Moore
He wasn't that great.
Mike Wright
He was at least on the field.
Jason Moore
That is better. I will grant you that. It is much better to be out on the field.
Andy Holloway
Reminder, Foot clan game day alerts. One hour before main Sunday kickoff for everybody@jointhefoot.com and Sunday live with me.
Jason Moore
Oh, it's gonna be big time.
Andy Holloway
I've got the live stream.
Mike Wright
The best one ever.
Andy Holloway
This Sunday. I think it. It might be. I have to find Mike. I need to find some sort of like. What do they call the barbers when you go. When you get a barber cape? Because sometimes, you know, Mike, you got that beard hanging over. It looks like you're getting a haircut during the live stream. Did you know?
Mike Wright
Well, since. Since we've upgraded the Sunday live.
Andy Holloway
Oh, he doesn't look that way.
Mike Wright
It doesn't look that way.
Andy Holloway
That was only because of the like handheld.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
And it was the up angle. And when I would have a black shirt, it would certainly look like I was at the barber.
Jason Moore
I'm getting my hair cut, but I'm still giving fantasy updates.
Mike Wright
I'm not gonna miss the haircut and I'm not gonna miss the Sunday live.
Andy Holloway
That's right, Andy.
Jason Moore
Holding down Sunday Live and YouTube, Instagram.
Andy Holloway
Facebook, Periscop up, Twitch. I don't know why I said. I don't know why I said Twitch that way, but that's gonna be a thing now.
Mike Wright
That's how the kids say it.
Andy Holloway
That's right.
Jason Moore
Fantasy forecast.
Andy Holloway
You see, Ninja was hosting the game awards yesterday.
Mike Wright
I saw.
Andy Holloway
He's everywhere, man.
Mike Wright
A screenshot of it. Yeah. Congratulations.
Jason Moore
Doing work.
Andy Holloway
Fantasy forecast. The rest of the matchups, if we don't talk about the team you want us to, it's because we did yesterday. So go ahead and listen to Yesterday's episode. The 10 and 2 Saints take on the 5 7. Buccaneers. Buccaneers are 8 point home underdogs. The game has a. Oh, come on now.
Jason Moore
Oh.
Andy Holloway
55.5 over, under.
Jason Moore
It is worth noting this game line opened at 58 and has been bet down pretty significantly because of weather is what I understood. People are worried about rain, 14 mile an hour winds.
Mike Wright
They're worried about the drizzle.
Jason Moore
Slight drizzle or chisel. Drizzle for chisel. But I will say this. I'm still expecting a lot of points scored here. It's in Tampa. The Saints defense has been so susceptible to the passing game. The Buccaneers defense has been so susceptible to football. The football game.
Andy Holloway
Yes. Yes.
Jason Moore
And so, yeah, I mean, I. The football. To the football.
Andy Holloway
To the football game. To the football game and all.
Jason Moore
All over.
Andy Holloway
Their defense, 29th against quarterbacks, 28th against running backs, 31st against wideouts, 28th against tight end.
Jason Moore
That's another way to say it.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, well, they don't play favorites. No, that's one of the things that they're well rounded.
Mike Wright
All right, let's break it down. So Drew Brees is in. Alvin Camara, Michael Thomas, they are in. Jason, Mark Ingram, he's in. In the fantasy playoffs.
Jason Moore
In the fantasy playoffs. He is still in. I am not. You know, look, Mark Ingram has disappointed. He's had great games. I've been constantly his supporter. Right now I've got marking room outside of the RB1. So unless you've got two or three RB1s, he's at my running back 13. But it's still a huge plus matchup. Big over, under, whenever. Look, sometimes you start Michael Thomas and you're very, very disappointed because Drew Brees throws four touchdowns and none of them go to Michael Thomas. But when the amount of touchdowns happen in New Orleans, you're going to be so upset if Mark Ingram's on your bench. So look, if you've got.
Andy Holloway
I had him one spot higher than Fournette, believe it or not.
Jason Moore
Wow. I don't. I bet that turns out right.
Andy Holloway
Or at least on last night, higher.
Jason Moore
Hopefully not just one spot higher. Did nothing. You know, look, I'm not. Not going to start him over a Nick Chubb, but if I've got, you know, if I picked up Jalen Samuels and I don't know exactly how much is the split Ridley, I'm still going to go. Mark.
Andy Holloway
He is the captain of the shaky boat. I mean, there are. When you have start, you start to have some question marks about. Okay, Gus Edwards ankle.
Mike Wright
Don't get on this one.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I mean, it's shaky. It's shaky. But I agree, you got to play in this week. The matchup is too good. Tampa Bay is too bad.
Mike Wright
Okay? So on the other side, had to be good. Jameis Evans. They're in Chris Godwin. J. He's your start of the week, Is that right?
Andy Holloway
Absolutely.
Mike Wright
I'm all about Chris Godwin with DeSean Jackson out of the lineup.
Andy Holloway
And you can flex Adam Humphries.
Mike Wright
I completely agree.
Andy Holloway
As long as you pronounce it with an Humphreys.
Mike Wright
I think the question and camera braid is in the question on the Tampa side.
Andy Holloway
Let's talk about Cameron Brait, though. Okay, you pause for a second. Yes. Because Cameron Brait, he's been bad. Let's make no mistake. He has not been over 40 yards on the season in any game. So you are. You are not there. There's a low floor for Cameron Brait now. It's not. You get to come in and be the number one target without OG Howard. He doesn't offer the skills and ability that Howard does. And if he doesn't score, if he's not 3 for 31 in a touchdown, he is just 3 for 31.
Mike Wright
Right. And I'm not going to argue against that. For me, it's of that, of the tier of tight ends. His probability of a touchdown is just higher.
Andy Holloway
Your start of the week, Vance McDonald or Cameron Brake?
Mike Wright
Ooh, that's a great question. I. Man, let me pull up the.
Andy Holloway
That's a real question. Somebody could be making that decision.
Jason Moore
I have.
Mike Wright
I've got Vance higher, so I would, I would stick with Vance McDonald.
Jason Moore
I do as well. I've actually got Cameron brait down at 12, so there's, there's a chance he's still a type.
Mike Wright
Cameron Braid or Trey Burton.
Jason Moore
I'm going to start. I'm going to start Cameron Brait in that. I'm going to start Cameron Braid over Trey Burton.
Andy Holloway
Right. All right. Sometimes when you say Trey Burton's name, I have an involuntary muscle spasm.
Mike Wright
Peyton Barber. At all?
Jason Moore
Oh, no. Peyton Barber. No way.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Andy Holloway
No, the Saints have been good. Saints have been too good against the run lately. I mean, on the season now, they've worked their way all the way up to number four and they've been real good over the last few weeks. Other, you know, flyers in this game. Do you take a chance on any other pass catchers from New Orleans?
Mike Wright
I don't. Not in the playoffs, no.
Andy Holloway
Treekwon Smith, Keith Kirkwood, Dan Arnold, Austin Carr.
Mike Wright
I know the upside of Treekwon, but I know what the downside is, and that is a big fat zero.
Andy Holloway
All right, then let's talk about the 4 and 8 giants taking on the 6 and 6 Redskins. Redskins are 3 and a half point home underdogs and I will take 3 and a half while they're at home.
Mike Wright
Still is Mark Sanchez.
Jason Moore
I know it's Mark Sanchez.
Andy Holloway
That's not, that's not an only for me. A three and a half point home dog when you have a better record and a better defense. I think that's right. I take the Giants. I would take the Giants.
Mike Wright
I.
Jason Moore
Look, I, I was, I'm hosting the DFS show that came out today and in my Battle Royale lineup, I made. I took the Giants defense.
Mike Wright
Yeah, that's a great call.
Jason Moore
Cheap option because you're playing against a team that has no left guard, no right guard, and behind them is Mark Sanchez.
Mike Wright
Good luck.
Jason Moore
You have to stop Adrian Peterson and nothing else. That's it.
Andy Holloway
I'm not certain that Mark Sanchez and Colt McCoy, the gap is very different. I really am not. It's large to me because Colton McCoy, he was fine. He was fine. Either way, I like Adrian Peterson. In this matchup, the Giants defense gives up 25 and a half points per game to the running back position. I think it's going to be the Adrian Peterson show and the Chris Thompson dump off show for Mark Sanchez. Because of that, I'm fine flexing Chris Thompson. Outside of that though, you have no confidence in Crowder or Dachshund or Harris. I don't have a lot of confidence in Reed. People want to say Jordan Reed has a sneaky start this week. I think he's a sneaky fart. Guys. What do you say?
Jason Moore
Jordan Reed, to me, hard hitting.
Mike Wright
No. Is.
Jason Moore
Wait.
Mike Wright
But trying to figure out is that good or bad?
Andy Holloway
It's bad because when you get away.
Mike Wright
With one, it's good.
Andy Holloway
You don't get away with it.
Mike Wright
But when someone else gets away with.
Andy Holloway
One position, you don't get away with it.
Mike Wright
All right.
Jason Moore
No Jordan.
Mike Wright
Jordan Reed or broken thumb Jimmy Graham.
Andy Holloway
Brooks was a big fan of the sneaky fart. I see he's still laughing.
Jason Moore
I have Jordan Reed one spot ahead of broken thumb Jimmy Graham, but he's behind Trey Burton. He's behind Austin Hooper. He's behind Cameron Brait. So Reed is not a guy I'm excited about because let's say I feel like if, if Reed ends up with five receptions, it's going to be for like 38 yards.
Mike Wright
Correct.
Jason Moore
And so unfortunately that'll put him as a tight end. One.
Andy Holloway
I really.
Jason Moore
But that's not what I'm ever aiming for. Not in the playoffs. No.
Andy Holloway
I still think if you are a Odell Beckham Jr. Saquon owner, obviously you're playing those guys, but you should be really excited about the comments from Odell Beckham Jr. This week. He wants to. He says if we're not going to make the playoffs, we're taking other people home.
Mike Wright
That's what I'm talking about, Beckham.
Andy Holloway
And that's really the attitude fantasy owners should have outside the playoffs. Take people home with you. Yeah, of course, now it's a fancy playoff, so you can't. So that being said, you're going to get competitive games from Beckham and Barkley the rest of the season. You don't have to worry about them being benched. They're going to go out there, they're going to do some work. Evan Ingram, we talked about it. This is not his year. You can take your shot, but you need to have one big play up the seam where he shows his top speed. And coming off an injury, that's a little bit of a risk. I think that's that with that game.
Jason Moore
Pearson, Chris Thompson, Odell Beckham, Saquon. That's it.
Mike Wright
Hey, before we move to the next matchup, I want to thank today's sponsor, SeatGeek. Getting tickets online can be far too complicated.
Andy Holloway
The amount of people that told me I should have used Sea Geek when they saw the tickets ahead to my kids concert last night was unbelievable because I we got terrible seats. We showed up later and we're off to the side. Couldn't see the kids.
Mike Wright
You should have gone with the two taps from seatgeek. They're making it easy. It's the way to go. Every purchase is fully guaranteed. You can shop for tickets on SeatGeek with confidence. Make seat Geek your go to ticket source for every anything sports, concerts, comedy. Hey, we're all going to Gaffigan tomorrow.

Jason Moore
We have the tickets and foot clan now through December 25th. The 23andMe DNA kits are on sale. So give the gift of genetic discovery. All three of us have done this. We actually did it years ago. 23andMe is really cool. You know you swab, you just take a little swab of your mouth and all the swabski they call it, right? A swabski is the scientific name. But I didn't want to get too technical. And they tell you so much about your DNA. It is so cool. You can see your ancestry composition report and see where you're from and what regions and you learn so much about the role your genes play in well being and lifestyle. It can even tell you really cool things about your genetics behind the scenes like your cilantro taste aversion or ability to match musical pitch and mosquito bite frequency. We compare them amongst each other. It's really cool. It's just unbelievable.
Andy Holloway
It's a great gift.
Jason Moore
It is. So now through December 25th, get 30% off any 23andMe kit. Order your DNA kit at 23andMe.com footballers. That's the number 23andMe.com footballers again. 23andMe.com footballers all right, let's talk through.
Andy Holloway
The Bengals chargers game. The five and seven Bengals taking on the nine and three chargers. Chargers are 14 point home favorites. It's a 47 and a half point over under. We don't expect Melvin Gordon to play. I have a note here that says not bloody likely. Yeah, he's not going to be out there and you don't need him. So that's why, Jason, you have Justin Jackson running back for the Los Angeles Chargers as your start of the week. He is sneaky in DFS as well. I know he's part of your lineup and it makes a lot of sense.
Mike Wright
So Jason, are you projecting Justin Jackson just to be the better running back for the team or.
Jason Moore
No, I still have, you have the.
Mike Wright
Heads up decision of Echler vs Jackson.
Jason Moore
I still have Eckler ahead of Justin Jackson. They'll both be involved. But one of the things, if you just look at the box score from last week, what you see is, oh, Echler was the guy and Justin Jackson got a little bit of work. That's not how it worked. The first half Justin Jackson pretty much wasn't that involved at all. The second half Justin Jackson started getting used and it was like, oh, he's, he's fantastic. He's running great. They gave him more work. He had a good game. Now he goes up against a world class bad rush defense and everything is there for, I mean they need to not overuse Austin Eckler. And the coaches have talked about that. They don't need. I mean, we've seen like, yeah, they.
Andy Holloway
Said he's wearing down.
Jason Moore
And the games where Melvin Gordon's out, those haven't been Austin Eckler's great games.
Andy Holloway
No, he's struggling.
Jason Moore
That's not his style.
Andy Holloway
But you can't struggle against the Bengals. So my only fear in an ordinary situation would be, hey, Austin Eckler has a great start to this game. They stick with him. It doesn't matter if they do that for the first half of this game. I think there's enough meat on the bone and enough of a blowout situation here that as soon as they get this game tucked away, even if Austin Eckler surprises with a higher percentage of carries to start the game, it's going to be put away.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
At home against the Bengals, who are awful. Jeff Driscoll and company Justin Jackson could have garbage time, and that could be enough to make you happy.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I agree. I wouldn't worry about the box score halfway through the game with Justin Jackson. And this isn't, you know, as my start of the week. He's not a top 12 option to me. He's not a guy that I'm starting over great backs. But this is a guy who should be a solid running back to this week that you grabbed off of waivers. And I want people to be confident that they can start him if they. If they need to.
Andy Holloway
You know, the number one running back or. Sorry, the number one wide receiver is.
Mike Wright
Since week eight, since the squeaky wheel. Let Philip Rivers know that he needs to stop messing around.
Jason Moore
We saw this last year. Yeah, we did.
Andy Holloway
Keenan Allen. Keenan Allen. Last week, 14 for 148 and 1 on 19 targets.
Mike Wright
Goodness. Over the last month, he has a 34.6. What target share.
Jason Moore
Is that true?
Andy Holloway
That's the percentage of targets. It had Tyrell Williams banged up, and.
Mike Wright
It helps that he was. He had over half of the targets for the team last week, and Melvin.
Andy Holloway
Gordon's been out, so it makes a lot of sense on that department. I think, like some people I know, every week we're talking Tyrell, Mike Williams. It's been Mike Williams lately. Tyrell Williams, he still exceeded Mike Williams in snaps last week. I think this week Tyro Williams gets on track. So if I had to pick between the Williams. Okay, that would be the selection. And I think you can. You can take a shot with those guys. There's still, what, 66% of the targets.
Mike Wright
Left After Keenan Allen and then Gates, whatever. You're not playing Antonio Gates in the playoffs. On the Cincinnati side of the ball, you're going to play Joe Mixon. But Andy, what's your level of confidence? Joe Mixon is averaging eight fewer touches in losses and you were very, you were very bold over there saying that they're going to lose.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, he is very cozy in the, you know, the back in one high end RB2 area.
Mike Wright
So he's still a high end. Two for you.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. I mean, if you're talking about. I think a decision that you could discuss would be like, you know, Joe Mixon or Mel Mark Ingram. We talked about Ingram earlier in the show. Sure, I'm going to play Joe Mixon in that situation. The workloads guaranteed for him unless something trends negatively on the injury situation. But he catches the ball, he runs the ball, they have to use him. I mean, he does everything for that offense.
Mike Wright
Stunning analysis.
Andy Holloway
Jeff Driscoll. Oh, Driscoll.
Mike Wright
Oh, Driscoll needs one big score.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. He might not get it. But what about Boyd? What about Boyd?
Jason Moore
Yeah, Boyd's a fine start. He's bound. Boyd is a wide receiver too.
Mike Wright
He see that movie, what About Boyd?
Jason Moore
Oh, that was a terrible movie where.
Mike Wright
They time to the front of the boat.
Andy Holloway
What about the sitcom Boyd Meets World?
Jason Moore
Oh, that's a great sitcom. But what about Boyd was awful.
Andy Holloway
What about Boyd?
Jason Moore
Yeah, so Tyler Boyd has been.
Andy Holloway
Get back on track, man.
Mike Wright
We got him good.
Jason Moore
Tyler Boyd has been very consistent with A.J. green. With A.J. green being out, he's the clear cut, number one target. They're going to be coming back from behind. The Chargers have a good pass defense, but they're not, you know, they're not unbeatable. So Boyd is going to get his.
Andy Holloway
Do you guys ever see Tommy Boyd?
Jason Moore
Oh, that was awesome.
Andy Holloway
With Chris Farley.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, that was a good movie.
Jason Moore
That was a good one.
Mike Wright
No AJ Green in that one. Hey, let's run through some names real quick. Tyler Boyd or Calvin Ridley? Calvin Ridley gets to play Green Bay.
Jason Moore
I'm going to go Tyler Boyd.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I am too.
Mike Wright
Tyler Boyd or Adam Humphries pronounced within Umphries.
Jason Moore
I'm going to Adam Humphreys.
Mike Wright
All right. And last one, Tyler Boyd or Alan Robinson against the Rams with Mitchell Trubisky should be back.
Jason Moore
So I've got Alan Robinson ahead in my rankings.
Mike Wright
Your heart doesn't like it, though.
Jason Moore
But you know, I am concerned with the first week back from Mitchell Trubisky if, you know, if anything goes wrong, takes a strong hit just the worries there. I mean, that's a gut check I think for each owner to make themselves. You know, you got to decide do you want a Boyd and his dog or do you want.
Andy Holloway
Or do you want Alan Robinson, the last Boyd scout?
Jason Moore
Oh, oh, very good.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, get some, get some Bruce Willis up in here. This shows, this show's stupid if you're starting. CJ Uzama at this point, does fantasy football even matter? That is the question from our editor in chief, Kyle Borgogan. Yes.
Jason Moore
Oh, yeah, Brooks. There we go.
Mike Wright
Brooks turns it around with positivity.
Jason Moore
Not everyone has the luxury of those top five tight ends and they've been scrambling.
Andy Holloway
I agree with you, C.J. uzama. He's, he plays football. 6 and 6 Broncos, they take on the 2 and 10 49ers. The 49ers are four point home underdogs, 45 and a half point over under. Mullins has been ping pong ball in between good and bad performances. And the Broncos are trying to make the playoffs at 6 and 6. They, they travel to San Francisco. San Francisco has struggled particularly against quarterbacks and wide receivers, but generally they're not perceived as a very good fantasy defense. And look, Philip Lindsay, you're starting. Cortland Sutton is a must start this week.
Mike Wright
Yes, he is for me.
Andy Holloway
Does the story in there for the Denver offense, are you willing to look anywhere else?
Jason Moore
Yeah, it ends there in the fantasy playoffs. I am very excited to watch and see what Daeshun Hamilton does, but I'm not going to start him right away and start him right away. I'm in the playoffs. I have better options. So yeah, I think the, I think it starts and ends there. Royce Freeman, a talented back, has clearly been put into a more distant second place. And over the last six weeks the 49ers have been top 10 against the running back. So Philip Lindsey and Cortland Sutton, that's it.
Andy Holloway
Over the last. Listen to this. This is Graham Barfield tweeted this. Most yards per carry in a single season over the last 40 years. You ready? Jamal Charles, 2010. We all remember 6.38 Barry Sanders, 6.13 in 1997. Number three on that list in the last 40 years, Philip Lindsey at 6.08 per carry this past year. Last year it was Alvin Camara who had the big 6.0.
Mike Wright
Lindsey on track to have the best rookie season for any undrafted running back of all time.
Andy Holloway
Congratulations to him. Yes, I mean going out there improving it and then doing it week in and week out with a Full. I mean, that can only be matched by Brooks. I mean, Brooks is the only man I see with such a competitive fire. Right, Brooks? Yeah, that's me. Yeah, that's me, guys.
Mike Wright
All right, I want to. I want to test your Cortland Sutton love for the week with some names real quick.
Andy Holloway
So test my love, Mike. Test it. You said it.
Mike Wright
Cortland Sutton or DJ Moore.
Andy Holloway
Cortland Sutton.
Jason Moore
I would go Cortland Sutton.
Mike Wright
Cortland Sutton or Kenny G gets Arizona. Kenny Golladay.
Andy Holloway
That is very, very close. I have Golladay up a couple spots.
Jason Moore
Agreed.
Mike Wright
All right. And then we'll go one more. Cortland Sutton or Jarvis Landry?
Jason Moore
Sutton.
Andy Holloway
Sutton.
Jason Moore
Breaking news.
Andy Holloway
This is really important for Jason. He's the resident kicker expert on the show. Spends his time boom booming. Graham Ganell limited in Thursday's practice. He's likely going to be out this week. The Panthers have signed Chandler Catanzaro.
Jason Moore
Oh, no. No, you didn't. Carolina. What are you doing?
Andy Holloway
Start thinking about your Canzaro rhymes right now.
Jason Moore
I'll tell you what, man. You lose four games in a row and you go, oh, let's go sign. I'll sign anybody. Why didn't they get Kelvin Benjamin?
Mike Wright
What, to kick the ball?
Jason Moore
Sure. I'm just saying make bad signings.
Andy Holloway
Make Carolina.
Jason Moore
I liked Carolina. I don't want. I no longer like Carolina.
Mike Wright
You're. The depth of your hatred for Catanzaro can be.
Jason Moore
I will say this.
Andy Holloway
Are you willing. Are you willing to arm wrestle him? Like, you know, like a live stream Cat Zaro?
Mike Wright
Oh, it would have to be a leg wrestle.
Jason Moore
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
No, I'm arm wrestling the kicker. That's for sure.
Mike Wright
You realize when you lose an arm wrestle, I'm trying to save your pride. If you lose an arm wrestling match to a kicker.
Andy Holloway
Oh, man.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Okay. I'm down on the leg wrestling because. Not because of that, but because of when I win the glory.
Andy Holloway
You'll be a kicker for the Carolina Panthers.
Jason Moore
Oh, I'm going to start doing squats immediately. I will say this for Chandler Catanzaro. While he has been out of the league. Not long enough. I have. I have missed being able to rank him dead last.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, you couldn't because you couldn't put him there. Look, Daeshun Hamilton, a lot of news this week. He's going to get more opportunity. The answer for him right now is for fantasy owners. It's not now. It's probably not this season because this is the fantasy playoffs.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I agree.
Andy Holloway
Even if he has a great game. Are you going to start him in week 15? Probably not.
Mike Wright
Probably not. But I'm very interested. I think he can. I think he can be a four or five reception guy. Coming right in, being the slot for the Broncos.
Andy Holloway
It just depends on what the coaches want to do with him.
Jason Moore
If he ends up with 10 targets this game, I won't be surprised. Then next year I think they've got a good match and I would be willing to start him.
Andy Holloway
Jeff Wilson. My name is Jeff Jr. On the other side, running back. I think Alfred Morris will be active again in this game, too. By the way, to spell Jeff Wilson Jr. Played on 72% snap. No, not spell. No, no. Spell is a. It's a figure of speech, Mike. It means that he'll come in for a short period of time while Jeff Wilson rests.
Mike Wright
I see.
Andy Holloway
It's kind of like take a seat, right? You've ever taken a seat. You don't really take the seat home with you. You just go sit down. Right. It's a more of a figure of speech.
Jason Moore
Man, I have gotten that one wrong. I have so many chairs at home. I'm such a duty.
Andy Holloway
I think Jeff Wilson's snap count will go down in this game. Last week, the aggravation to Matt Burrida's injury happened pre game. He was active. He took a couple snaps. But Wilson had to step in with an inactive Alfred Morris. I don't dislike Jeff Wilson. I just think that you're not getting 72% this week. What do you guys think?
Mike Wright
I think he's a strong volume play. The matchup stinks against the Denver Broncos, but I think that he's RB2 play.
Jason Moore
Let me ask you this. So Jeff Wilson, LaShawn McCoy and Justin Jackson, I've got those guys back to back to back in my rankings. In that order. I'm not.
Andy Holloway
You have Wilson at the top of that order.
Jason Moore
I do.
Andy Holloway
And I'm not bottom for me. Yeah, he's at the bottom for me because of the Denver matchup. Denver needs a win. Denver's playing well, their defense is playing well. And I. I'd rather play the other two.
Jason Moore
I mean, all three are startable assets this week that I like. So I'm not. I'm not anti any of them. But yeah, I mean, if. If you look at the Broncos the last six weeks, they're the second most difficult matchup for running backs.
Mike Wright
Jeff Wilson or Chris Carson versus Minnesota.
Andy Holloway
I think I would go, I'll play Carson.
Jason Moore
Jeff Wilson, I would play fear for both the Matchup and the injury.
Andy Holloway
You know what? I would like to bet that.
Mike Wright
Let's do it.
Andy Holloway
You guys want to get a waterbed on the books? You guys take Jeff Wilson, I'll take Chris Carson.
Jason Moore
Let's do it. Water betch.
Mike Wright
Sounds like you're. I imagine you saying that to Van Halen's jump Twitch.
Jason Moore
All right, the last dude, the last person to discuss in this matchup, Dante Pettis. Can you start him now that it looks like Goodwin is going to be back?
Andy Holloway
You can? Yes. You can probably flex Dante Pettis.
Mike Wright
I would flex him, yes.
Andy Holloway
Just like Ken.
Jason Moore
It's hard because I feel like. No, he's in my 40s and I'm like the Pettis truther and lover.
Andy Holloway
Well, you're in your 40s, aren't you?
Jason Moore
No. How Twitch.
Andy Holloway
How dare that even mean?
Jason Moore
I don't know. All right, let's go to the next matchup.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, you might not want to after.
Jason Moore
I get to it.
Andy Holloway
The 4 and 8 lions take on the 3 and 9 cardinals.
Mike Wright
Oh, yeah.
Andy Holloway
I'm trying to actively plan a children's concert during this one. I'm trying to get every all the parents together, get the kids up there singing a few songs. 4 and 8 lions, 3 and 9 cardinals. I tweeted that picture of our concert and there were a lot of fathers. There were some fathers that sent me back a picture of the concert. They were at one that night. Cardinals are three point home underdogs against the Lions. It's a forty and a half point over under. There's not a lot of fantasy juice in this game, to borrow Mike's favorite phrase of the year.
Mike Wright
Yep.
Andy Holloway
But carry on. Johnson not likely to play. Kenny Golladay is the guy that you can start for the Lions in this matchup. Sheer volume, talent, ability, red zone prowess. I'm not excited. I'm not playing Matthew Stafford against the Cardinals. The Cardinals defense has been surprisingly good at times this season. They're number two in the league in terms of fantasy points given up to the quarterback position. So they're not giving up big, big games and they're at home here. So you guys agree? Stafford is a sit.
Mike Wright
Yes, he is a sit for me and for the. Just to finish up the wide receivers. Bruce Ellington, you can flex if you are in a PPR since he showed up just right off the street.
Jason Moore
Super important distinction. Yes.
Mike Wright
Because he gets you maybe 30 yards, but he's averaging at least six receptions a game.
Andy Holloway
The Cardinals are depleted at the wide receiver position. Christian Kirk is on ir. Larry Fitzgerald has been he's been flying.
Mike Wright
He's a victim of circumstance.
Andy Holloway
Their number two right now is Trent Sherfield, who. I mean, he had 50% of snapshots.
Mike Wright
Don't do that to Trent.
Andy Holloway
It's not you. You thought it was Gary Sheffield. Mike, just admit it.
Mike Wright
I did.
Andy Holloway
But normally this is the part of the Arizona Cardinals matchup, Mike, where you go. All right, well, Ricky Seals Jones. Are you interested? That's your voice.
Mike Wright
Wow, I'm annoying.
Andy Holloway
Hey, Ricky Seals Jones.
Mike Wright
Why am I Andrew Dice Clay?
Andy Holloway
I don't know, but that's how the Ricky Seals Jones inquiries are starting to hit me, Mike. I'm a no. A no show for Ricky Seals Jones.
Jason Moore
No, Ricky Seals Jones is. There's only two possible options here. David Johnson is a start. He's going to get a volume play. I don't have him low enough. That's the truth.
Andy Holloway
I have him at. I've got him at nine. So. Yeah, you're probably right.
Jason Moore
I have David Johnson right now at 14. That seems better than nine. Look, the Arizona offensive line is decimated.
Mike Wright
All five starters are gone.
Jason Moore
They are starting three rookies this coming week. So it's bad news Bears for Arizona. You have no weapons to throw to and you have no time to do it.
Andy Holloway
Let's. Let's take this opportunity to remind people. Next, the Arizona Cardinals play the Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta. Atlanta's not been a great D. You can stream them, but you can stream them next week in week 15 against this Cardinals offense, which by the way, is the only team in the league to punt on over half of their possession.
Mike Wright
Oh, well done.
Jason Moore
So the only other question is, can you start Larry Fitzgerald? I think he is a starter at home.
Andy Holloway
Fitzgerald or Pettis?
Jason Moore
Fitzgerald.
Andy Holloway
Okay. Yeah, I agree. With Goodwin coming back, I would go Fitzgerald over. Yeah, over Pettis.
Jason Moore
Yeah, it's a sad. This is a sad game.
Andy Holloway
Let's move on then to a more exciting game. The six and six Eagles take on the seven five cow. The seven five cowboys in Dallas. Dallas, three and a half point favorites, 44 and a half point over under.
Jason Moore
Andy's almost upset of the week.
Andy Holloway
I did this once with Philly.
Mike Wright
You did.
Jason Moore
You didn't like the results?
Andy Holloway
I also did it once. I also did it once against Philly with the Giants and Philly came out with the win. So look, Philadelphia, if they win this game, they'll be tied atop the division with the Dallas Cowboys. And they did, they did win last week and they did have a little bit of spunk in the form of Golden Tate getting Involved in a big way for the first time. Do you buy into the kind of coming out party for Golden Tate last year? Frequently targeted, targeted targets manufactured behind the line of scrimmage for him?
Jason Moore
No, I don't buy into it too much. I mean they clearly wanted to get.
Andy Holloway
Him great on defense.
Jason Moore
They clearly wanted to get him involved. So they, like you said, they were manufacturing, they were plays drawn up to get him the ball quickly to try to utilize his yards after catch ability and that's good. I mean they need to build that rapport. But I'm not buying into Golden Tate yet off of that one game. Certainly not while they travel to Dallas against a defense that is on fire in a divisional matchup at home. I trust your almost upsets of the week, but I'm going to be honest with the momentum that Dallas has right now in front of his home crowd in a divisional must win matchup with what their offense has been doing with Martin, Cooper and Zeke and what their defense specifically has been doing, I just don't see how Philadelphia's depleted team, who has half of its defensive players it seems like, can play four quarters better than the Cowboys right now.
Andy Holloway
Brooks is a Dallas fan. Does my almost upset make you almost upset?
Jason Moore
It's an almost upset, right?
Andy Holloway
It is an almost upset. That's a good point. Yeah. Should be a close. So it doesn't make you upset?
Jason Moore
No, nothing. Does anything make you upset? Yeah.
Andy Holloway
What's the. Let me. When's the last time you were upset in general? Brooks is a great on that. He's a very mild mannered person. Do you know the time? Think about this, Brooks. What's the most upset you've been in maybe the last decade? I would love to know what that is. Probably back in my days of movie theater managing. Really upset. So you would get real upset in that situation. You yell at customers, I assume?
Jason Moore
Oh for sure. No, I don't know if I can throw the popcorn in the face.
Andy Holloway
He doesn't know if he can yell. That would be a fun experiment. We should stop paying him, see what happens.
Mike Wright
Oh come on. I mean that's a great idea.
Andy Holloway
Just a social, I mean just a science type. You probably get a polite message.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that's really.
Andy Holloway
And then we'll feel bad and give him a raise. Yeah.
Mike Wright
So last time these guys played, Zeke was unstoppable. Amari Cooper had himself a solid game as well. So is this. Obviously you play Zeke, but Cooper, full confidence.
Jason Moore
Full confidence. I mean with, with what's going on with the secondary with Philadelphia and the amount of targets going Cooper's way. Cooper is to me, a must start.
Mike Wright
Does that translate to confidence in Dak Prescott?
Jason Moore
It doesn't translate in confidence to Zach. To Dak Prescott as a must start. I do think he is a fine option. If you have been streaming quarterbacks and you didn't, you know, maybe you had.
Mike Wright
Dak Prescott or Matt Ryan against Green Bay.
Jason Moore
I have Matt Ryan ahead pretty significantly. Six, six spots ahead or so.
Mike Wright
Okay, well, that's, that's big.
Jason Moore
But I would play Dak probably over Mitchell Trubisky with the scares with his injury.
Mike Wright
Interesting.
Andy Holloway
Should fantasy owners toss Ash on Jeffrey into a nearby dumpster or start Golden Tate over him? Jeffrey over the last five games, 3.6 receptions and 37 yards a game and a total of zero touchdowns. I'm renaming touchdowns to Derek Henry's zero. Derek Henry's over the last five weeks.
Mike Wright
I'm not, I'm not playing Alshon, but.
Jason Moore
I wouldn't, I wouldn't throw him away and I wouldn't start Golden Tate over him either. I think this is.
Andy Holloway
Wow, you wouldn't start Tate over.
Jason Moore
No, I would not start Golden Tate over Al Shine. I still think that if you're, if you're going for a touchdown upside Alshon.
Mike Wright
And you better look back to week seven, that's fine.
Jason Moore
I mean, I can look back to a career of Alshon, Jeffrey getting it done near the end zone. I'm not going to overreact from a couple weeks in a row where he hasn't scored. In fact, if anything, it says that a score should be coming soon. I'm not going to start him because he, you know, he has been in a slump. Carson Wentz hasn't looked especially great. The touchdown regression we talked about in the off season has clearly come to fruition, but I'm not tossing him and I just don't have the confidence in golden tape. Really. I don't know that there's an option to start other than the clear number one wide receiver for the Eagles, which is Zach ertz.
Andy Holloway
No doubt. 82 and 84 yards the last two weeks from Josh Adams. The last thing we need to address in this matchup is the running back situation for Philadelphia. He only has had one target in the last two games. Darren Sprouls healthy again. Corey Clement makes his way on the field. But Josh Adams, fully healthy, practicing in full this week. Feel okay with him or a little worried?
Mike Wright
A little. A little bit worried.
Andy Holloway
I got him outside the top 24, so 27. You're in Kenyan Drake, Marlon Mack range.
Mike Wright
Right around where I have him too.
Andy Holloway
Chris Carson range. Would you play Carson or Josh Adams?
Mike Wright
I would play Chris Carson, but I would play Josh Adams over Coleman Howard. Look at Blunt.
Andy Holloway
All right. The 7 and 4 and 1 Steelers take on the 2 and 10 Raiders in Oakland. The Raiders are 10 and a half point home underdogs. The game has a 51 and a half point over under most of those points to go to Pittsburgh by Vegas's estimation with that game line. We've talked a lot about Jalen Samuels, running back slash tight end depending on your league. But Jalen Samuel, Steven Ridley, they'll take the mantle from James Conner, who took the mantle from Le'Veon Bell. You know, I worry because of the excitement for Jalen Samuels that maybe it's gone too far. Maybe everybody. You know, when something happens like it does to a big high profile guy like James Conner or you know, last week Cream hunt, Spencer Ware, you kind of imbue a lot of value. That comes along with the fact you spent a waiver spot or you spent a bunch of waiver priority on a guy. I want people to understand Jalen Samuels is going to split time in the backfield with Steven Ridley. Now that doesn't mean he's not going to be more of the passing downs guy catch more.
Mike Wright
He's the pass catch of the group.
Andy Holloway
Catch some passes. But I'm trying to temper my expectations from him. Is that wrong? I mean, I've got him at 23 this week. I've got Peterson over him, I've got Justin Jackson over him. I think I might surprise people.
Jason Moore
I don't think it's wrong. It's a wise move to be realistic with the excitement. You know, sometimes excitement overwhelms, you know, and it forces guys up rankings. My thinking here is we have, I mean we have so much history of Mike Tomlin. So much. And I've just never seen him use a running back by committee. And so I'm not going to be surprised if it comes out and it's actually the Steven Ridley show. Like I wouldn't, I mean you look at week 17 last year, it was the Steven Ridley show and he was awesome. He knows the system, he's been involved. But I, I was trying to research to find out like what looking at be reporters and I watched an interview with Steven Redley and he is either the best actor in the world or he literally has no idea what the utilization is, which leads me to believe that it will be Jalen Samuels. Because I would. Jalen Samuels was talking about how he's getting extra reps and practice and things like that. And when the question was asked how Steven Ridley is going to be utilized, he was like, look, I don't mean to be rude, but players are going to play, coaches are going to coach. I have no idea what his game plan is. And it was like, you're probably, you're probably not the guy, but I still wouldn't be shocked. Which is why I think it's wise to somewhat temper your Jalen Samuels expectation. Because we've got a history of just being wrong, you know, we being fantasy football players, of going, this is going to be the guy. And then it's like, oh, does that.
Andy Holloway
Temper your last week?
Jason Moore
Right.
Andy Holloway
Didn't pan out. This will go down as the Jalen Samuels game in the annals of fantasy football history, because you're in the playoffs and you're probably banking on him. And if you can play him at tight end, congratulations.
Mike Wright
Now, I was going to say you're, you're tempering. Does that go into him as a tight end?
Jason Moore
No, no, of course not. Because tight ends are garbage.
Andy Holloway
You ever seen C.J. uzama, Mike? I've ever.
Mike Wright
I've heard of him.
Jason Moore
You want to roll out Cameron Bright?
Andy Holloway
You ever dance with the devil with Austin Hooper?
Mike Wright
Actually, I have.
Andy Holloway
It's, it's, it's awkward. It's awkward. They should let us play James Devlin, tight end this week, too. That just feels like the right thing to do.
Jason Moore
Here's the reality, right? Big Ben going on the road. You don't always love that. You want Big Ben at home, but with Jalen Samuels and Steven Ridley as the only two running back options, I think this is a passing game.
Andy Holloway
You're starting Big Ben no matter what. He's the number two quarterback on the year.
Jason Moore
Yes. Number two quarterback on the year. Number two quarterback on the week. I really think Big Ben is going to feast, and that's going to go to both Antonio Brown and juju Smith Schuster. Obviously you're starting those guys, but they are, they're going to. They're just going to destroy Oakland.
Andy Holloway
I told Mike last week there, there are fantasy points to be had in the, in the offense for Oakland. Maybe it's not a lot, but this game is in Oakland. And Jared Cook, 100 yards last week, touchdown in three straight games. You have to play Jared Cook at this point. And then Jalen Richard has been like ping ponging between some decent performances, some crappy ones. Last week 6 for 95. Marcel Aitman, Jordan Nelson. Are you running, running, running away?
Mike Wright
I am mostly running away. I think you can still play, Richard. Question for Krampus himself, Doug Martin. We. It's been a strange week for Doug Martin. Early on there was. Okay, Martin is hurt. He's trending out. He is not trending out.
Jason Moore
They signed C.J. anderson.
Mike Wright
Then the next day, oh, Doug Martin practicing in full. He's fine.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
He ate a few children, regained his strength.
Andy Holloway
He ate a few.
Jason Moore
Just a few.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
I do think like a Pez dispenser.
Jason Moore
Unless he pops back on the injury port. I do think Doug Martin is an okay play. I mean he's, he's had a touchdown in the last two games last week. 18 for 61 sit of the week. I mean, I, I'm not, I'm not loving either guy and it's the playoffs. Hopefully you can do better. But if I had to pick one of those two, I would, I would still lean.
Andy Holloway
Doug Martin, Rams, Bears. Much more exciting Sunday Night Football 111 Rams 8 and 4 Bears. Bears 3 point home underdogs 52 point over under. This is an interesting game for fantasy owners because look, you're starting the players. That got you there. I think the official kind of like the more strict phrase for that is to shake what your mama gave you.
Jason Moore
That's correct.
Andy Holloway
So Jared Goff, Todd Gurley, Brandon Cooks, Robert woods, we don't have to talk about them, but are you worried about that?
Jason Moore
Yeah, I'm worried about golf. I'm worried about golf big time. I've got him at number nine.
Mike Wright
Garf.
Jason Moore
Garf.
Andy Holloway
Jared, is he more of a golf or a Garf this week?
Jason Moore
Man, I don't know which one's better, so I can't.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, you're more acclimated to like barf.
Jason Moore
Than Garf this week. That is true. Yeah. I mean Jared Goff has been just so powerful as a fantasy quarterback over the course of the season. Since losing Cooper cup, he has, you know, he's let you down a few times and now he's going on the road to Chicago. It's looking like it's going to be 28 degrees and he's a guy where in the fantasy playoffs.
Mike Wright
And he's the correlation of him having down games on the road also is there when you break down the numbers and the splits.
Jason Moore
It's one of those where you got to the playoffs in part because of golf and you're going to start him. And I worry that a lot of fantasy owners are going to regret it. And Jared Goff, I need to move him down on my rankings.
Mike Wright
Jared Goff, or I don't. I'm trying to find a realistic situation. But maybe you have Jared Goff and Tom Brady.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I'll play Brady in Miami, I think.
Mike Wright
Okay. Jared Goff.
Andy Holloway
No, I won't.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I wouldn't.
Andy Holloway
No, I won't. And here's the thing. Their offense is too good, right? Their offense is too good. You don't have to have Jared Goff be on the top of his game or find people downfield. You can have two screen passes. I mean, it's very close between those two guys, I'll put it that way.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I mean, right now I've got Jared Goff ahead of Andrew Luck, but I don't. I would rather play Andrew Luck. So I need. I need to move that. It gets questionable with Lamar Jackson and Matt Ryan to me as to whether, you know, that. That one is. I mean, I guess that's really where you got there on the back of golf. And if it's that questionable, you probably are going to just roll golf out there. Because, like you said, this is an unbelievable offense, but they are going up against a hard defense, bad weather on the road, so there's. There's worries. I don't worry at all about Gurley. I mean, I. Gurley is as safe as they come.
Andy Holloway
This. This Rams offense is kind of one of those machines that if one or two parts isn't working, the rest of the parts can kind of get you there. So they, you know, Sean McVay, Todd Gurley, the wide receivers, the talent they have. The Bears defense does give it out to wide receivers, at least on this season. So a little bit better over the last six weeks, but still, that's their area. Let's get into the Bears side of things. If Mitch Trubisky is coming, you know, he's coming off this injury. It's the first round of the playoffs. The Rams are right now the worst in football against fantasy quarterbacks over the last six weeks. I would just throw him right back in there.
Mike Wright
I would. Jason has talked of his. He's hesitant to play him. I would put Trubisky right back in.
Andy Holloway
Tariq cone last week was on fire. 12 for 156 through the air. Jordan Howard, he belongs on your bench.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Alan Robinson, he's our wide receiver, 32 this year.
Mike Wright
I would play him.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Mike Wright
Assuming that Mitchell tried. Trubisky is actually back.
Andy Holloway
Trey Poo Poo. What do you do with him? He has one catch on two targets since Adam Shaheen has been an active.
Mike Wright
Yeah, but that's also correlates with trubisky.
Andy Holloway
Isn't that a strange thing if he's such a weapon and Matt Aggie's such a genius. What, what doesn't. What are we not seeing about Trey Boo Boo's unique.
Mike Wright
What I've been trying to.
Andy Holloway
Is it just Chase Daniel though? Because we could chalk that out that since Shaheen's been active you could really argue that it's, you know, Chase Daniel and Trey Burton don't have a rapport. Maybe they get back on track this week.
Jason Moore
It's possible. But do you want to take that.
Mike Wright
Guess in the playoffs and what is on track?
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
On track is 3 for 11 and a touchdown.
Mike Wright
Yeah, exactly. On track is Cameron Brait light.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, you can't get much lighter than Brait.
Mike Wright
But I'm saying I think that Brait they're both their ceiling is three receptions. Burton's is not pain but I think the probability of the touchdown is higher for gamer Braid.
Andy Holloway
I'm going to go out on a limb here. I think that Trey Burton will give you a hurting, he'll give you a wider, he'll give you a tight end. One week they're going to need to put points up on the board. They're going to need it. He'll get some maybe twitch the Vikings 65 and 1 take on the 75 Seahawks. This is Monday Night Football. The Seahawks are three point home favorites. It's a 45 and a half point over under some seasons look hanging in the balance for the Vikings at this point. Big game. Cousins, Cook, Thielen, Diggs, Rudolph. The Vikings offense, you know, the Seahawks defense, that enigma that it is real bad over the last six weeks giving up a ton of points to those three positions. You know, the win. Whoever wins this game essentially knocks the other person out of the wild card picture or very well could. What are we doing with the Vikings offense? Are you just starting them all and hoping for the best?
Jason Moore
Yeah, I think that you probably are. I mean we saw San Francisco when granted they got down early last week but San Francisco in Seattle they threw for a lot of yards. They rushed for a lot of yards. You know, it wasn't even though the beginning of the game the Seahawks defense was playing well. I think Kirk Cousins gets up for the big games and this is going to be a battle back and forth. The skies are clear, the weather is okay. You know this is a game where I would take the over. It's only 45 and a half points because you have two good defenses here.
Andy Holloway
But whenever you got one good defense.
Jason Moore
Okay, you got one good defense and one defense that is okay playing at home with the 12th man.
Mike Wright
And which is really cheating, by the.
Andy Holloway
Way, right, to have 12 on the field.
Jason Moore
Fair.
Andy Holloway
But take away that super bowl.
Jason Moore
Whenever there are two good teams in an important game with good defenses, I look at the quarterbacks. And if there's two great quarterbacks there, usually the offenses win out on those important games. And that's what I expect to happen here.
Andy Holloway
Ty Hilton is practicing today. Little update for you.
Mike Wright
Nice.
Andy Holloway
On the other side, by the way, I had a lot of people tweet me. It's Michael's secret stuff from Space Jam. It's not Space Juice. Fortunately, that makes a lot more sense. It's Michael's secret stuff. That's what Russell Wilson, the defense Tyler Lockett has been using to be highly effective.
Jason Moore
They weren't able to get that Gatorade sponsorship.
Andy Holloway
No, it was Michael's secret stuff.
Mike Wright
Would you rather drink Gatorade or the sweat of Michael Jordan?
Andy Holloway
Now, let's be clear. It's not the sweat of Michael Jordan. What do you think Bill Murray was drinking?
Jason Moore
What do you think?
Andy Holloway
It's water, Mike. It's a placebo effect. I'm going to give you some of Michael Jordan's sweat. No, of Jason's sweat.
Jason Moore
It's getting even better.
Andy Holloway
Which, by the way, you worked out this morning. Jason and I did your glasses did finally defog.
Jason Moore
They did. I'm proud of myself.
Andy Holloway
Is this the week Russell Wilson's secret stuff runs out? Last week, 11 for 17185 yards before touchdowns. He's got the second highest touchdown rate in the league behind Patrick Mahomes. I mean, at some point in time. Nope, it doesn't run out.
Mike Wright
It will run out, but I'm not going to wager against it. Russell Wilson's been incredible.
Andy Holloway
Okay, so you're all about Wilson. You cool with Lockett my start of the week? I mean, are you worried about Xavier Rhodes? Xavier Rhodes has been so frequently half injured this season. Limping off, dealing with hamstring last week. Banged up, but he's good.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I'm concerned more about just where will the. Where will the wild wacky roulette wheel of Wilson's touchdowns.
Andy Holloway
That's a lot of W's, Mike.
Mike Wright
I'm all about that alliteration, my man. All about it.
Andy Holloway
Dalvin Cook, your start of the week.
Mike Wright
Yes, I like Dalvin.
Andy Holloway
Stefan Diggs Adam feeling they're kind of must starts. Yep. Can I interest you in some Kyle Rudolph anybody? No T. Right. Hilton, Like I said, Eric Ebron back at practice today. Any other news? That is the just a kind of.
Mike Wright
A further confirmation that D. Jacks is not expected to play.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Yeah, I wasn't expecting to play him either.
Jason Moore
The daily dose brought to you by draft.
Andy Holloway
It's Friday the end of the day. It's the daily dose and we are doing a quarterback only draft today. Mike V. Andy V. Jason who won last week. Do you.
Jason Moore
I didn't check but it's probably me. Oh wait, was I here?
Andy Holloway
Yeah, it's probably Was I here?
Jason Moore
I dude that the sickness earlier this week.
Mike Wright
So this week we are doing quarterback only. I have the normally very easy, excuse me, choice of the first quarterback but with 10 seconds left on this clock until the draft starts, I don't know if I want to use my first pick on Patrick Mahomes.
Andy Holloway
Against Baltimore.
Mike Wright
Against Baltimore.
Andy Holloway
I would say draft who your heart says to draft Mike.
Mike Wright
I'll let you take that ride.
Andy Holloway
Who are you going with? No, I won't.
Mike Wright
No, I won't. I'm going to get take Patrick Mahomes.
Andy Holloway
All right, I've got Drew Brees against New Orleans. Drew Brees is currently my number one quarterback on the week.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it was going to be Drew Brees if I didn't take Mahomes.
Andy Holloway
Fair enough. Fair enough. Jason's got a couple of back to back picks. Mike Whit, Mahomes one, Drew Brees number two. And Jason's got to figure out what stack of quarterbacks he's interested in.
Jason Moore
Well, my stack, look, I would take Philip Rivers. I think he's out of this list since he is not eligible. I'm going to go with Ben Roethlisberger who you know we talked about if they, if they can't run the ball well then they're going to have to throw and Oakland doesn't scare me. And then Andy's start of the week who I agree with Aaron Rodgers having to prove it minus Mike McCarthy. That'll be my, that'll be my stack.
Andy Holloway
Jameis Winston is my pick. Then I think, look, despite all of the problems that Tampa has, his fantasy production is great. Jameis Winston. I'm going to pair him with Drew.
Mike Wright
Brees and I went with on the Edge. I took Andrew Luck against Houston and then I'm taking the upside gamble of Cam Newton with his shoulder and I'm.
Andy Holloway
Taking the upside gamble of Lamar Jackson in against Kansas City in that defense. I want some shares of Lamar Jackson this week. I think he's gonna have a better than expected week.
Jason Moore
Man. Here's where the rubber hits the road for me. So I took desean Watson. The next guy up for me would be Jared Garf, but I just do it. Don't want him. I'm gonna. I'm gonna surprise myself here. I'm gonna go Kirk Cousins.
Mike Wright
Interesting.
Andy Holloway
So you. You left Garf on the table?
Jason Moore
I left Garf on the table.
Andy Holloway
I'll take him. I'll take him. That's fine. I'll take Jared Garf. I'll go down with the Garf.
Mike Wright
Perfect. Because then on my turn, I will take Mitchell Trubisky because, yeah, I'm about it. And also, Jason, good reason. Who did not scroll down far enough because Philip Rivers is on my team, you buffoon.
Andy Holloway
I took you at your word. And I didn't scroll down from Philip Rivers.
Mike Wright
I saw him. And after you made that statement, I said, holy crap, I'm gonna get Rivers.
Jason Moore
With my last pick, you dirty dog.
Andy Holloway
Wow.
Mike Wright
I'm such an idiot.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I am, too. Cause I should have vetted that. I should have known you were an idiot. I finished up with Matt Ryan. Jason, you've got the final pick in this draft.
Jason Moore
All right, well, I got Baker, Brady Wentz, Russell Wilson.
Andy Holloway
No, no, you can only have one. You can only have one.
Jason Moore
But since I lost out on Philip Rivers, I feel like I want to get all four of those guys. I'm going to. I don't love the matchup. I've got him low in my rankings. But look, if I've got Aaron Rodgers, I'm going to take Tom Brady. I'm just going to go hall of Famers here, see how that works out for me.
Mike Wright
All right, My team. Patrick Mahomes, Andrew Luck, Booty Scootin, Cam Newton, Mitchell Trubisky, and Philip Rivers.
Jason Moore
Oh, yeah.
Andy Holloway
I went with Drew Brees, Jameis Winston, Lamar Jackson, Jared Goff, Matt Ryan.
Jason Moore
I've got Big Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers, Deshawn Watson, Kirk Cousins, and Thomas Brady Brooks.
Andy Holloway
Did you figure out the last time you were upset?
Jason Moore
Nope. It's right now because the show's over.
Andy Holloway
I predict the future with your dynasty today.
Mike Wright
