We've got matchups today. We've got NFL News. We've got the Fantasy Face Off. We've got the Wheel of Shame. I was thinking on the drive in, just I saw a stat about Cousins leading the league in both interceptions and fumbles.

And I thought about the way that things have gone from the New York jets and then I thought about the Minnesota Vikings and just how incredible the NFL is that there are so many teams that thought they fixed the quarterback position. The excitement with Caleb Williams in Chicago or Aaron Rodgers in New York or Kirk Cousins in Atlanta, it was like, we did it. We fixed it. And then the despair in Minnesota. Oh, gosh, we're stuck with Sam Darnold.

Yeah. I mean, they lost their. Yeah.

Well, it was exciting.

[Mike Wright]

It was exciting.

It was going to be J.J. mcCarthy, rookie who I loved. I thought he was going to fit in well in the system. And then it was sadness of, oh, it's Sam Darnold all year.

And so Darnold in Minnesota and then the Russell Wilson, Justin Fields in Pittsburgh. Right. And Bo Nicks in Denver.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah.

The unexpected quarterback savants. And then the people that thought they had it fixed.

It's weird.

Now, would it surprise you to know that Atlanta is leading the division?

[Mike Wright]

They're in the playoffs right now at 6 and 6. So there you go.

I mean, we know that in fantasy football when you're in your division with four teams and three of them all have 10 wins or, I mean, because we use league median, whatever it is, and you look over at the other division and someone is going to get like this is our the Dino Junior. This is not a hypothetical Dino Junior where Jason I co manage the team that is like is universally loved sweeping the nation. Can't stop winning.

Every league, the league loves it loves our team.

The reason that certain people in a division in fantasy have the records that they do is often because the other side of the of their division is very, very bad. That's why. I mean, if you have a lot of parity, your records are going to be kind of even. And then maybe the better team is the worst record because you're not playing bad division mates twice. Yeah.

[Mike Wright]

Except our entire division is awesome.

[Jason Moore]

All I hope is that it goes the opposite after you vote for it. I just hope that next year you have like a, you know, a 9 and 6 record or something. And then, you know, let's just say.

[Andy Holloway]

The person in third in our division has a better record than the person who's going to get the by week. Yeah, third in our division.

[Mike Wright]

It hurts.

You know who's third in their division? The Green Bay Packers.

[Andy Holloway]

And they're nine.

They're nine and four.

Yeah. You know what? They're not getting a byways.

I mean, I. The game started and it was like, oh, the Lions are just too good to be, you know, in a competitive game. 34, 31.

It was an awesome game.

Yeah, the game itself was awesome. And it was. There were fantasy players that were very, very good. But I think what stuck out for fantasy playoff anticipation were two bad performances. It was. It was number one overall bad performance. Yeah, go ahead and get the wet fart out there. I mean, this was. This was A. This was a. This was an altcoin rug pull.

I mean, this was.

[Jason Moore]

If you put your money into Jaden Reed, the rug was pulled.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, but who made the money? Was it Jacobs?

[Jason Moore]

Nobody.

[Mike Wright]

Jacobs made that money.

[Jason Moore]

So Jaden Reed had one target, no catches in a game that The packers scored 31 points. Now, I will say this. Jordan Love completed 12 passes in the game. So you watched it and you felt that short drives that didn't go anywhere, running game that was successful, and a big play here and there to get them down the field. And you know, a turnover on a fourth down that shortened the field.

[Andy Holloway]

It's insane. If Jordan love 12 completions and what you like. Yes, Josh Jacobs had a monster fantasy day. But you're like, oh, man, he must have ran for like 150 or something. No. 66 yards. Where did these points come from?

[Mike Wright]

It was all touchdowns, man. It was short fields. They got inside the five. They gave it to Josh Jacobs. He said, I can see the end zone. And he scored over and over and over.

[Jason Moore]

But the other. The other side was actually what you got from Almond Ross St. Brown. It was 5 for 43. His worst performance of the season. Thank you, Mike. You are playing a key role here on this Friday.

[Andy Holloway]

I'm out. I'm here for the people. That was pain.

[Jason Moore]

So almond raw, 5 for 43, which he has actually had a pretty bad run. He's been single digits three straight weeks. And in a game where Jared Goff passes for nearly 300, completes 32 passes, throws three touchdowns, you needed more from Almond Ron. Now you've got the fantasy playoffs coming up for redemption. But David Montgomery, Jameer Gibbs. Ho hum. We did what we did.

[Mike Wright]

Just do it every single week. I don't understand how they can be so consistent.

[Jason Moore]

11 receptions between them, 29 carries between them, two touchdowns between them. And nice game from Jameson Williams. Five for 80.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah.

So that. That's what you got. Christian Watson caught a couple big passes.

And mostly my number one worry right now. Kenneth Walker, Breeze Hall. Because Kenneth Walker was downgraded. It's an ankle and calf injury, and it doesn't look good. Now, Metcalf was dmp. DMP in a full practice last week with the shoulder. We've got the precedent that he plays, but the downgrade for Walker scares me a little bit.

We have seen Walker essentially, like, do this where he doesn't practice.

So we need runner Mike. We don't just need Walker.

I. Yeah, we need the true Ken Bone to show up, but. So I'm saying there's still a chance that Walker plays, but the fact that this is what is going on with him right now and being, you know, ineffective the last few weeks, which the. I mean, the offensive line has really been letting him down. But this is a. You need to have the eyebrows up and be ready.

So it does feel scary there. We didn't see DeAndre Swift back at practice yet. We've got new injury report for Jacoby Myers, who was added on Thursday with an ankle. That worries me.

So it's good to hear about Instagram teen accounts which provide automatic safety settings for teens built with parents top concerns in mind, Things like making their teens profiles private by default, having automatic contact limits so they can only be messaged by people they are connected to and content restrictions that place them in the most restrictive setting, limiting sensitive content they see in places like Explore and Reels. And all of these settings are built in so no extra work for parents. Instagram is automatically placing teens into teen accounts and teens under 16 will need a parent's permission to change any of these settings to be less strict. Basically, Instagram teen accounts will limit who can contact teens and the content they see and help ensure teens time on the app is well spent. And that's something everyone can agree on.

I would probably go Hawkinson over Otten, but Otten, I think is about my tight end. Nine this week. The matchup, I'm not too scared about the last three weeks. I talked about it yesterday's episode. The matchup is just really, really good for him. His involvement and the targets have still been there. So I think the targets will continue to be there. And because of the matchup being easier, he'll find some success.

I think people were surprised to see Rashad White on the field in overtime last week. He had a big run and it was actually he played well. But the reason being is Bucky Irving had the huge game. Now Bucky Irving got banged up. Yes, he's back at practice. But if this game gets out of hand, six and a half point favorites, you could see Rashad White get more work on the ground to salt the game away. I'm not saying you don't play Bucky. I'm just saying Rashad White has averaged 14.3 points per game since Week 7. Bucky and White, right. That's the story here.

[Mike Wright]

That is the story. You can start both of them. Obviously, Bucky is usurped the number one role here, so he would be first. But Rashad White has not gone away or been irrelevant by any means. He's double digit opportunities every week.

So Bowers is in. But what do you do with the Jacoby Myers injury news and do you try to spot start Trey Tucker or somebody? If he's out, I think yeah.

[Mike Wright]

I mean there should be some value in the receiving game against the Buccaneers. They haven't put up a fight against anyone and they don't really have good cornerbacks. So if Jacoby Myers is active, I'm still going to roll him out. I think he's a. I think he's a flex play despite the injury, but if he's out. Yeah, this is the type of roster that you can look at and just pick someone up off the waivers and hope to get double digit targets. It's kind of very Parker Washington from last week with the Jags.

[Jason Moore]

Okay. I don't Think there's a lot else to talk about in this one. Unless you guys have another name.

[Mike Wright]

No, primarily it's. I think the big question is Sincere and we just don't know with Abdullah's injury and Madison's injury, that's one where coming up to the weekend, let me ask this. If for some reason Alexander Madison is active in the game, do you start Alexander Madison? Put him ahead of Sincere?

[Andy Holloway]

I would.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. If you had to choose between them. Yeah. But I would make me want to not start anybody.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, it.

[Andy Holloway]

I mean, that's based off of that he was the starter and the coaching staff, they said a lot of big words about how Zemir White is the guy and it kept on being Alexander Madison. So I'm saying that of moving that over to McCormick, they, they were, you know, showering him with some, some praise.

[Jason Moore]

Seattle 7 and 5. They go to Arizona to take on the Cardinals. This is a big game. The Cardinals are six and six. The draft king sports book line here. Arizona three point favorites at home, over, under of just 44. Couple of defenses that have been playing great. Two weeks ago, it was only 16 to six in this game. And that was a game where James Connor really fell flat in Seattle. This game's in Arizona. It's a battle for the division lead, but the defenses are kind of what has been getting the job done over the last six weeks for both teams. Just to put it in perspective, the Cardinals defense, number two against quarterbacks, number three against whiteouts, number five against tight ends over the last six weeks. That's how good they've been.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. And unfortunately, I mean, if you look, Seattle games have hit the under in five of their last six games. Arizona games have hit the under in four straight. So it is, you know, this is a matchup that I think a month, two months ago, we looked at and said, oh, I can't wait. This should be great for Metcalf and JSN and James Connor, Marv. And now it, it really feels like these are. This is going to be more of a defensive slug fest. And I hope that's not just, you know, carrying over too much from the game we just saw the last game we saw. We do need to remember when we saw this matchup a couple of weeks ago, it was rainy, it was outdoors. So there is some hope for just a better environment to play. And should one or two things break early, you know, that's one of the things about football is like, if it starts really slow, it can stay slow. But as soon as one team gets going and the other has to kind of be forced to open it up. Maybe you can get a back and forth affair. I do expect James Conner to have a significantly better game. I mean, the Cardinals lost that game and they had been on a winning streak on the back of James Conner. And I hope they learned a lesson there because they just didn't give him the ball enough. And the Seahawks are not great at stopping the run.

[Jason Moore]

You know, one of the weirdest things is Metcalf has struggled against Arizona his entire career. He has never hit 60 receiving yards against him.

[Andy Holloway]

That's wild.

He's averaged 5.6 fantasy points per game. And we also know he's, he's hurt.

So it's not really, you know, that's a fascinating wild stat. I think big picture, both defenses are very good. They put pressure on the quarterback right now and that makes it a nerve wracking game. And then if Kenneth Walker misses.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, we need, we need to run out some. Just if he plays, let's say Ken Walker plays, is he right in for into your lineup or would you look at someone like Tyrone Tracy against the Saints?

[Mike Wright]

I would play Tyrone Tracy. I think that's a good matchup for him.

[Andy Holloway]

Rashad White against the Raiders, I would play Rashad White.

[Mike Wright]

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, I am. But so, I mean, Kenneth Walker has been contacted before the line of scrimmage on 54 and a half percent of his rush attempts, which is the highest in the NFL. Like I said, the offensive line letting him down despite him being third highest enforced missed tackle rate.

[Jason Moore]

I think it's, that's, that was my point earlier in the week about it compounding because when you get tackled behind the line of scrimmage a lot and you're a player like him, you try to do more, you press, you try to do more. You're like, okay, I need to be perfect. I need to get outside.

[Andy Holloway]

It's Saquon with the Giants.

[Jason Moore]

Exactly. So in this game, Jason, you said you're confident in Connor. Connor would be over Walker then.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, Connor would Definitely be over.

[Andy Holloway]

I would do that. Yeah.

I think Connor's a good start. I think Walker's a bad start. So I don't see many situations where I would bench James Connor and I would be looking to see if, you know, if I've got a better player to get in over Walker in this matchup. The Cardinals rush defense has just been really solid and I wonder how much Charbonnet will be involved. It's been frustrating. So even, you know, it's like if Walker's gone, okay, maybe Charbonnet is a good play because he's going to get all the work, the touchdown opportunities. But if Walker plays, these two guys are probably going to just both stink.

[Jason Moore]

Kyler Murray in this game at home favored or Baker Mayfield, who you said you had concerns about?

[Mike Wright]

I would play Kyler.

[Jason Moore]

Mike, which would you do? Kyler against Seattle at home where he.

[Andy Holloway]

[Jason Moore]

You'd play Baker. Perfect. Those you guys are very helpful. I was asking for a friend of mine. Well, so who's starting in a dynasty league trying to get a playoff spot?

I'm actually already. I've made that decision, but mine is in part because I have Mike Evans, Trey McBride. Play him. JSN. Play him. Those guys are locks and we'll see how this game goes. Buffalo's 10 and 2. They take on the 6 and 6 Los Angeles Rams. If you are a fan of the Seahawks or Cardinals from the previous matchup, you should be happy that they're. The Rams are playing Buffalo because this division is tight in the NFC West. The DraftKings sportsbook line Buffalo just three and a half point road favorites here. The over unders 49 and a half.

I think so. I think I would have thought five and a half or six.

Yeah, for sure. I mean the Bills have been so dominant. Obviously they're on the road here and the Rams are, you know, healthy and needing a victory. But I would expect the spread to be much, much larger.

Defense for Buffalo playing great. I don't know how that changes any of your decisions for the Rams though.

Yeah, I mean it could really be any of them. The only wide receiver that I have any confidence in a floor of is Khalil Shakir.

[Andy Holloway]

I agree. I'd play him.

[Mike Wright]

He has the manufactured touches. You look at the targets heading back. I mean it's been. It's been over two months since he has not had at least seven targets in a game. Now a lot of them are the non valuable screen game but he makes them valuable. Yeah, he works well in that screen game. So I think you could start Khalil.

[Andy Holloway]

Shakir his DK yardage lines at 54 and a half. So I'll take it.

[Jason Moore]

One of the things that's really weird about Buffalo is they're kind of the opposite of what Cleveland's been with Jameis Winston where the plays per game are through the roof with James. When Buffalo plays football and it's been true all year and it's even true over the last three weeks they have like the third fewest combined plays per game over the last six weeks actually. And they score 30 a game and yet they don't have the same type. You're not getting Jerry Judy games and Elijah Moore games and you know, David Jones, they just, they kind of, you know, Josh Allen scores so many fantasy points just picking up a first down, running the football.

[Mike Wright]

So you play the easy throwing pass to himself.

And yet for all the struggles of the 49ers fantasy wise, their defense is holding people down. Over the last six weeks, their 10th against quarterback, ninth against wide receiver, six against tight end. They have been a bit of a running back funnel. But the running backs for the Chicago Bears are currently taking some time off.

[Jason Moore]

Would you play Caleb Williams or Geno Smith? Because I would go.

[Mike Wright]

Caleb, I think, I think you stay in the Flames with Caleb. I mean, these are monstrous games.

[Jason Moore]

He's had no interceptions in six consecutive starts.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, you're seeing a lot of the promise also. You have to imagine that they're going to potentially rely on the passing game more. In this game. You've got DeAndre Swift and Roshan both not practicing. Roshan is in the concussion protocol, not practicing on a Thursday. So he's almost certainly not going to go right now. I mean, I think Swift, you know, will be active, but he might not be. And if he's not, then, I mean, first of all, who's the next man up?

[Andy Holloway]

And Travis Homer.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. And so you're going to be throwing the ball.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. And I don't mind Cole Comet as an emergency start. He had 10 targets two weeks ago. But you're always rolling the dice. It's not a high like Juwan Johnson or Cole commit. Which would you go?

[Mike Wright]

Cole commit? Juwan Johnson's got a pretty bad matchup.

I'd stick with commitment.

And are you staying in the Flames with Keenan?

He had two touchdowns. It wasn't a, you know, it wasn't an outstanding game like it was two weeks ago. You can try to stay in the flames there, but I wouldn't be shocked if all of a sudden they get near the red zone and it's Odunze that gets the touchdown instead of Keenan this week.

[Jason Moore]

On the other side, Juan Jennings receiving lines 57 and a half. He's Jason start of the week. Isaac Garrindo Jason start of the week. Ricky Pearsall hasn't caught a pass in three weeks. Yeah, I don't know if you knew that. Zero weird receptions.

[Mike Wright]

I mean, you again. The same arguments we made for Juwan Jennings hold true for all of the receivers. Last week was the snowball in Buffalo that they were clearly not prepared for or just doesn't fit Brock Purdy style. And then Brock Purdy was injured for two weeks ago. So I'm not writing Ricky Piersol off entirely, but it's, you know, Juwan Jennings has. Yeah, no, you certainly can't start him.

[Jason Moore]

But you know, the. Debo has been a storyline. Right now he's Our consensus number 29 wide receiver on the weekend.

[Mike Wright]

And it feels like that it's probably too high. It could be too high.

[Jason Moore]

It just doesn't feel like it should.

[Mike Wright]

He's the wide receiver, 46 right now on the course of the season.

[Jason Moore]

That's like. It's outrageous.

Keenan Allen or Devo?

Well, maybe he is getting it together, but maybe that is also. These are better route designs, better concepts, better play calling of just like Keenan earlier read. Yeah. So, yeah, I would go Keenan over Debo. That's wild.

I don't like them on the road I don't like McConkey's injury and I don't know if they can put up enough points now. That could be just plain wrong. The Chiefs defense has not been special. But you're also dealing with. You don't have J.K. dobbins anymore either, right? Like you don't have efficiency on the ground. And if you don't have McConkie at 100% or he gets knocked out part of this game or he doesn't play, who are you? Josh Palmer's done nothing. Quentin Johnston can't catch Will Disley.

J.K. dobbins isn't there. And just in general, if you look at schedule, adjusted fantasy production given up to running backs, Kansas City is number one on the season. Even the last six weeks, they're top five. So this is, this is going to be Herbert.

But that's hard. That's going to be hard to do when you know that Chris Jones and company can come right after you on every play because you don't have the threat of the run well.
