Oh, yeah, that'll be. Yeah. I don't know what to expect from that game.

I think it should actually be a pretty good fun game. I think there's going to be a lot of fantasy points.

You know what's different about this situation with Andy Dalton is it wasn't a cool, it wasn't a cool thing to support Andy Dalton and believe in Andy Dalton and defend Andy Dalton for a very, very, very long time. But right now it seems very, like, posh to be like, yeah, Andy Dalton's great. This is no, this is no slouch. This is a really good Pro Bowler.

Well, he's, he's a good backup. I mean, this is the underdog story now. He's no longer the starter, he's the backup.

And he's a thing. And he's going to continue to be a thing if he's healthy. He's on a team that utilizes tight ends. Mo Ali Cox is inactive. Absolutely. Trey Boo Boo.

Well and did what. What was the final conclusion of Jack Doyle? Looked like he hurt his little bitty baby hands. Did they actually get hurt? Did he get a boo boo on the baby hands?

[David Johnson]

I believe he was still in the game after that. But he was definitely. It was hard to see because they're so small, right?

Yeah. Tiny injury.

Right. It was like the camera was zooming in, but you couldn't really tell. But he did. He did hurt his hands.

So terrible. The disparity of perception for all the tight ends on this team. You've got Mo Ali Cox.

[David Johnson]

Oh, Jack, he's so big.

And then you got Trey Boo Boo. Who's just been a disaster for years, has one good game and then Jack Doyle that, like, his hands are too small. So it's not our fault.

I didn't give him the baby hands.

He only ended up 1 for 12. I feel like I saw him try to catch 5 passes in this game.

But you catch with those hands.

Well, that, that part is not my special.

Well, it's your special in the sense that you've. You're leaning on him in some leagues and.

[Jason Moore]

Oh, yeah, I mean, it sucks.

[Mike Wright]

He's got a knee injury. Zach Ertz exited with an ankle injury. Both are getting an MRI today. What is the latest you've heard on Miles Sanders since you're so attached.

[Jason Moore]

So the, we don't have a lot of news yet, but the, the Twitter doctors were out trying to, you know, look at the mechanism of the injury, looking at the timeline of their games and when their bi week aligns. But if you have Miles Sanders, I would be prepared to be without him for at least three weeks. At least.

[Mike Wright]

Yikes. That is unfortunate. That's a team that can sustain some injuries, though, because they haven't had to deal with any.

[David Johnson]

Right?

[Mike Wright]

Yeah.

[Jason Moore]

Yes.

[David Johnson]

Lot of depth there.

[Mike Wright]

Also, I can't believe they almost came back in that game.

[David Johnson]

We were making fun of you as we should have been doing during that Ravens Eagles game. And we're saying, stop taking almost upsets against the Ravens. And then they almost upset them. It was incredible.

[Mike Wright]

And you could see the writing on the wall. We're like, okay, they score the touchdown to tie and they don't get the two point conversion. That'll be a perfect almost upset.

[Jason Moore]

Also, Zach Ernst, currently the tight end, 21 on the week.

[Mike Wright]

Okay, Mike, look, I'm not, I'm not saying.

[Jason Moore]

I'm just.

[Mike Wright]

Just saying, just throwing stats out there. Numbers.

[Jason Moore]

That's six weeks of Zach Ertz and one week inside the top 10 for him.

[Mike Wright]

I really don't know whether to be impressed with or disappointed in Carson Wentz. I feel like every play.

[David Johnson]

Oh, it's both.

[Mike Wright]

Do you know that when, like when you, let's say you, you did a hundred yard sprint, right? And at the very end you're very tired and you start to kind of fall after you cross the finish line and you're like barely catching your feet. I feel like he plays the entire game in that mode. Like he's about to fall over. He's about to get tackled. Almost wins the game.

[David Johnson]

Yeah, he actually wears heavier shoes than most people do. And I don't, I don't know if you.

[Jason Moore]

He's got like one of those training.

[David Johnson]

Vests on underneath, but it's just on the shoes.

[Mike Wright]

I thought maybe they tied the shoelaces together and then they made him play quarterback. All right, Mark Ingram, ankle injury, came back out on the field, left again.

[Jason Moore]

He was, he was in and out. But it's something to monitor here for waivers.

[Mike Wright]

It's always a big deal when you hear something like that and you have somebody like J.K. dobbins behind him with that much talent.

[Jason Moore]

It's not just Dobbins, man. The Gus Bus was he, he saw a lot of opportunity.

[Mike Wright]

No, you're right. And he was, he was double digits in our league of record scoring because you saw what happened. Like, Cam Acres gets banged up. All of a sudden Darrell Henderson comes in and he's just established himself.

[Jason Moore]

Right.

[Mike Wright]

It might just take a little ankle tweak to move in. The next guy, Raheem Mostert, exited with an ankle injury. He looked like he wanted to come back in so bad.

[Jason Moore]

And Raheem Mostert, we've had the discussions several times in the office of running backs that running backs that actually matter and change a team. Raheem Moser is so good, man. He is, he has, he makes correct decisions. His athleticism is always on display. The one run where he doesn't look like a power back, but he had the run, the run where he came, you know, running to the outside and he sought out the contact of two players. The run should have been a four yard run. Instead, he pushed two defenders and turned this in from a four yard into a nine or a ten yard run.

[David Johnson]

He is, it was.

[Jason Moore]

I can't believe the NFL whiffed so badly on most.

[David Johnson]

And plenty of teams out there actually had him on the roster and saw him practicing day in, day out. You know, Jerick McKinnon is a, is a fine running back, but you look at those two guys when they're on the field and you're like, man, they miss Mostert because he hits those, those holes so quick.

[Jason Moore]

He might just want it more than other people. Yeah, like, there's, there's a mentality thing of playing football that you can't really quantify.

[Mike Wright]

Raheem Ostrich's inspiring, Travis Fulgham's ascension. Because when teams pass over, you release you, sign you, release you, you get a little Mike Davis you get a chip on your shoulder and all of a sudden you run a little bit harder.

[David Johnson]

I do worry a little bit about this, this ankle injury, though, because he was ruled out very quickly. I got an alert. They didn't talk about it on the broadcast, but I got an alert pretty, pretty quickly after he went off the field that he was ruled out for the rest of the game.

[Mike Wright]

Well, you knew he came back in after the injury. He came back in and played.

[David Johnson]

Yes.

[Mike Wright]

And then you're saying after that.

[David Johnson]

Yes, and then was ruled out. And so I. I just, you know, I guess Maybe it's Christian McCaffrey that's giving me the fears of, oh, he had a great game, and then at the end he kind of tweaked his ankle, and then all of a sudden, cmc, ptsd. Yes, that's right.

[Mike Wright]

Devontae Parker suffered a groin injury in the second half. Parker has become. I mean, these are becoming frequent for him, having little tweaks and playing through them, and we'll see what happens.

[David Johnson]

One thing to note there is that that game was out of reach in 20 seconds. It was. It was 21 to nothing in the blink of an eye.

[Mike Wright]

Did the Dolphins play again?

[David Johnson]

I think they had a bye week. They just decided to score points on nobody.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. Oh, my gosh. Is he going to get fired this week? Brooks, can you let us know?

[David Johnson]

No way.

[Jason Moore]

I don't. I don't know.

He would have been fired already.

[Mike Wright]

Brooks, do you know? I mean, are you taking over? I'll let you know. All right. Adam Gaze. Maybe he can make it for a few more weeks. We need the content, John. Hugh Smith exited in the third quarter with an ankle injury. He was not heavily involved early in this game, but he's been one of the better tight ends for fantasy football. So, you know, this is the dance you do with tight ends in fantasy. You deal with injury and you have to pivot to some of these players that emerged over the last week. Maybe it's Trey Booboo, maybe It's Irv Smith Jr. Maybe it's Rob Gronkowski, but.

[Jason Moore]

Maybe it's the other tight end on the Tennessee Titans, Ferxer, who came through with a monster. I think he's the number one tight end of the week.

[Mike Wright]

That's right.

[Jason Moore]

Currently, there's a couple more games.

[Mike Wright]

He's always good for a few of those surprise games every year. The Broncos reportedly won't discipline Melvin Gordon after he was charged with a dui. He did miss week six due to illness.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, he had Strip.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. Mm. And then we've got the two games tonight. Last minute news there. Zach Moss is expected to play. Removed from the injury report. And then John Brown is questionable. Do you guys have a sense on whether John Brown will be, let's not say just on the field, but start worthy for your fantasy teams?

[Jason Moore]

It's sketchy.

[Mike Wright]

Like, would you just shift right now if you could get Gabriel Davis, Would you just put Gabriel Davis in there because he's kind of giving you a baseline as opposed to the risk? Or would you put John Brown in?

[David Johnson]

I would probably put John Brown in. I. You know, you temper your expectations, but he's been so important to the offense.

[Mike Wright]

Okay, anything else we should talk about here in the news?

[Jason Moore]

No. It's getting to the studs.

This week's fantasy stud muffins.

Deshaun Watson. Have yourself a game.

[Jason Moore]

That game was insane.

[Mike Wright]

It was a wonderful game. We have, we have, just for some context, we have eight televisions at the studio and then one middle TV. So we have nine TVs. And because the NFL is so amazing, they chose to front load the entire. There were nine games.

[Jason Moore]

So ridiculous, man.

[Mike Wright]

And we run red zone in the middle. So we had to choose one game to not show. And we're like looking at all the matchups and we're like, let's just not show the Tennessee Houston one. And that quickly changed.

[Jason Moore]

It was the right choice for like half the game. And then, no, then it was. Then it was insanity.

[David Johnson]

Was Deshaun Watson sandbagging for a while to get Bill O'Brien out of there because he looks great all of a sudden?

[Mike Wright]

This was the schedule. I mean, we said it before the season began. Kansas City, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Minnesota to start the year. You know, at the time, we didn't know Minnesota would be quite as bad on defense. But Casey, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, sandbagging or not, the result would be the same in those games. But this is back to back monster performances from Deshaun Watson. It's wonderful news for Will Fuller managers. It's wonderful news for Brandon Cook's managers. Darren Fells, David Johnson even had a nice week.

[David Johnson]

Randall Cobb, everybody.

[Mike Wright]

It was. Yeah, there was plenty to go around. 28 for 37, 335 and four big plays, sustained drives. It was what you wanted to see, minus the victory. So big week for Watson. Confidence levels rising. Matt Ryan.

[David Johnson]

Matt, Julio Jones. Ryan.

[Mike Wright]

I mean, it's like we have Rule 86 from days gone by. Matt Ryan needs Rule 11. I mean, it's. If Julio's not out There, Matt Ryan is not comfortable.

[Jason Moore]

Agreed.

[David Johnson]

When he is out there, he's absolutely great. You look at this season as a whole, Matt Ryan started the year on fantasy fire. And then all of a sudden Julio gets banged up, goes out and Matt Ryan stinks. And now he's back and there you go. So it's really simple. Sometimes fantasy is difficult and sometimes it's easy. If Julio's out there, Matt Ryan's a. Okay.

[Mike Wright]

Detroit, Carolina. The next two weeks for Matt Ryan suddenly looking very strong in those matchups. Carson Wentz, we talked about the game. He was ugly. It was also not that ugly for wins. In the end, Tannehill continues his dominant performance.

[Jason Moore]

My goodness.

[Mike Wright]

30 for 41. 364 and 4. I don't know about you guys, there's nothing I enjoy watching more than a play action pass offense, to be honest. Like when you have an established running game and you can, I mean with Gurley and the Rams a couple years ago, you know, the defense has to make a decision on every play and you lose or you lose against Tennessee right now, if you don't double down on Derek, he's going to go down the field. And then if you do, Ryan Tannehill can pick you apart with AJ Brown. So this was an impressive performance. 364 and 4. I think for a lot of fantasy players, this was the game that maybe cemented Tannehill's an every week start. No matter what's going on now you got Pittsburgh next week. That's.

[Jason Moore]

That's tough.

[Mike Wright]

What are you doing? Is he, Is he locked into your lineup?

[David Johnson]

Nope.

[Jason Moore]

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, I mean, never mind about what I previously said.

[David Johnson]

It's one of those things where, you know, it depends on the alternative. But if I had a good alternative, I would, I would use it. But, you know, I think he's going to be a low end one, probably quarterback, 13, 14. So I'm hoping that I can pivot, but we'll, we'll see. It's a tough matchup.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. Pittsburgh was dominant this week, making an injured Baker more injured in the Titans.

[Jason Moore]

Sounds like they did lose their left tackle Taylor, the one to an ACL tear.

[Mike Wright]

That is a devastating loss. Lamar Jackson, Philip Rivers, Kirk Cousins, Jimmy Garoppolo.

[Jason Moore]

Jason, are you shaking your head at Philip Rivers?

[David Johnson]

No, I'm shaking my head at lamar Jackson having 186 passing yards. Now, he had a phenomenal fantasy game because he rushed for over 100 yards. Scoring is bonkers for quarterbacks when you do that. But I'm so Disappointed in this Ravens offense as a whole. Mark Andrews, Hollywood Brown. If you're passing for 186 yards, it doesn't matter if you're good on the year.

[Mike Wright]

Tiny pie on the year. His average right Now, Jack Doyle disagrees. 189 passing yards per game, 1.7 touchdowns per. Kane. Distribute among all your past catchers those bountiful numbers.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, that's a bummer.

[Mike Wright]

So you might have to change some expectations there across the board. Kirk Cousins. This was garbage time. I mean, this was pure and utter. Did I hit 55?

[Jason Moore]

It's tough. He was a player that I highlighted on Sunday live of, you know, just don't forget what happens a lot with rookies, especially a rookie running back. He was in a timeshare. The vet, Adrian Peterson was the guy. But then they had the bye week. The bye week teams go and they start shifting things around. They start figuring out where their young players can fit in and do more. Now they're the snap carries were or snap totals were very, very close between DeAndre Swift and AP. 29 for Swift, 27 for Adrian Peterson. But we saw DeAndre Swift get a lot of work on the snaps. He was actually on the field 18 total opportunities and then he came through in a big way. Hopefully. Hopefully this is a great sign for more DeAndre Swift moving forward. But this isn't like I don't think he just took over the job.

[David Johnson]

The fact that this comes after a bye week is very important to me. You've got three carries, five carries, zero carries, four carries by week and then 14 carries. This is a player they are, you know, actively getting more involved.

[Jason Moore]

He's the future of the running back.

Absolutely. So you've got to keep your eyes on them.

Couple starts to the week. Had nice weeks. Ronald Jones, Miles Gaskin, Jones. If you're not starting him at this point, you're missing out on 100 yard games each and every week. And he's running ferociously. That's how I would describe it.

The question is when Fournette comes back, has Ronald Jones cemented the job or will all of a sudden he lose 10 carries a game to Fournette?

[Mike Wright]

There is only wet cement in Tampa Bay. At the running back position, there is no cementing. He could have run for 23 for 800 yards and it would still be like you don't pick up a blitz pickup and let Brady get hit in the back of the knee and you get pulled off for two drives. So there's always that risk. But I don't know what else you could have done over the last Three weeks for Ronald Jones to earn that role and the confidence of fantasy players.

[David Johnson]

Yeah. I think you have to continue to start Ronald Jones even if Fournette is active and healthy until proven otherwise.

[Mike Wright]

And James Conner keeps Being James Conner. 24, 101 and 1. Not really involved in the passing game, but didn't need to be. This team is playing great. So at that point, you know, you can lean on James Conner. And Miles Gaskin.

He did not have any targets or receptions in that game. If you omit that game, he has scored in four straight. He has been over 100 yards in three of five. The one game where he didn't score, he was 8 for 112 and 11 targets. Eight targets, seven targets.

[Jason Moore]

This is why I was highlighting him last year or last week of saying the overall feeling of Will Fuller is. Had not caught up to the actual production of Will Fuller because week two he went out. And so it's. Oh, it's the same old Will Fuller. He's just going to get hurt. Look, Will Fuller has a very storied injury history. He could get hurt again. That's something that can happen. But the dude is balling out. He is the number one for desean Watson. And desean Watson is finally erupting and having monster fantasy output. I mean, the window is probably closed now. Like this will be the week that finally people are actually bought in on Will Fuller. So we need to respect the man, respect what Will Fuller is doing right now.

[Mike Wright]

This is what you wanted to see. I mean, this is why I went and spin up to get him in Dynasty and hoped and prayed he'd stay healthy. And the sentiment you're talking about, it wasn't just week two. He also had the hamstring injury before last week's game that made everybody afraid to play him. But isn't he a free agent after this year?

[Jason Moore]

I will double check that.

I think that'll be interesting to see what they choose to do. Brandon Cooks has been great though. I don't want that to get buried. Brandon Cooks the last two weeks has been outstanding. I believe he caught nine of nine targets.

And what's crazy with Fuller is that he's been consistent. It's not some three touchdown game with 200 yards that's inflating the numbers outside of the week where he literally missed, you know, almost the entire game. He's been a top 28 wide receiver. That was his. That was his worst week. And that was against Pittsburgh. So he's just been. He's been great. And I wonder if Will Fuller and James Conner just gave us all the pump fake, you know what I mean? We're all worried about the injuries. You come out and you start the year and it's like, oh, same old, same old. And now they're just getting it done.

Yeah, you're saying that out loud, though. Scares the crap out of me. It's like week seven coming up.

[Jason Moore]

You got to roll with it. You are correct. Andy Willfuler is. He's on his fifth year option right now. So he will be free agents or franchised by the Houston Texans.

Yeah, that'll be interesting to see what they do. This is a big year for him in terms of his future. A.J. brown, two more touchdowns.

Dominant Travis Fulgham. 10 targets, 6 for 75 and a touchdown. This is three straight weeks of fantasy relevance has the Giants in Dallas. I mean, at this point in time, we're supposed to get desean Jackson back on Thursday and I don't care one bit when it comes to whether I play Travis Fulgham. He seems to have established himself as the X right now. I've seen beat reporters talk about the fact he's going to stay there even if Alshon comes back. What's your perspective on Fulgham after what you've seen?

[Jason Moore]

I saw the same reports saying that as long as Fulgham keeps producing, he will be the starting wide receiver. So you're playing him and the Giants in Dallas. Those are two juicy matchups.

[Mike Wright]

Jason, Chase, Claypool, four targets, four catches, another rushing touchdown.

[David Johnson]

He is physically dominant on the field. He's one of those guys that, you know, he's taller and faster and strong. You know, this is the second week in a row where he's had a rushing touchdown as well. They get on the goal line and it's really tough with his length and speed to stop a jet sweep from getting in the end zone. And you combine that with the fact that you have James Conner and it's just another weapon. I think he has cemented himself as someone that you're going to start. I know that the matchup was great, right? We were saying before the week that the Browns, you want to play guys against the Browns, but even in other matchups he just, he's looked great and it wasn't, you know, didn't he have a really good week one? Just a bomb reception.

[Jason Moore]

It might have been week two, but I know what you're Talking about. Yes.

[David Johnson]

So we've seen it. Yeah. It was week two. He had 88 yards. I think he's the real deal and he's really made juju. I don't know if he's the reason for.

[Jason Moore]

It's on like the. What we have seen from juju where the production has just evaporated is it's wild. I know there's, you know juju was a very contested like polarizing. Polarizing high emotional when you talk about him during the off season. But he was still a 1400 yard receiver. It was the questions where can he be the number one? And that's, that's a. Was a fair discussion to have. But for a 1400 yard receiver to just vanish into thin air is absolutely mind boggling. I have no idea. And what's happening with juju and he's. It's not that he's off the field. He's still running a ton of routes. He's just not.

[David Johnson]

We have targets. We have five games already because they had the bye week already and you have him playing 81% of snaps and he's on pace for 620 total receiving yards.

[Jason Moore]

It's mind boggling, man.

[Mike Wright]

And here's the headline. They 100% do not need juju Smith Schuster to be successful on this team. James Washington is giving you weekly production. Deontay Johnson looks like an emerging star. Chase Claypool, you've seen the headlines. Eric Ebron involved in the passing game. You know Mike, you made the Pittsburgh wide receivers your start of the week. He Big Ben only threw 22 passes in this game. That's a career, a season low for him. So you still had production from Washington and Claypool but they don't need him right now. Yeah, they just don't. He's still going to be good for the occasional touchdown, but yardage wise, I believe coming into the week he hadn't surpassed, you know, 50 something yards in any game. Yeah, it's. And he's not going to probably be there after this year. I can't imagine what he believes about himself. Being able to point to the resume in the 1400 yard season and what that would equate to from what Pittsburgh wants to pay a wide receiver. Those things are not going to come together.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah.

All right. T. Higgins, this was impressive. The rookies are really breaking out. Six for 125. Higgins. And a little bit of an unretirement for A.J. green in this game.

Yeah, I did. I signed Fells for our league of record to play him. He was my start of the week. And then he's on. He was on my bench. I didn't put him in my lineup. Oh, shoot. Yeah, I.

The rest of my day was ruined. I had a bad attitude. I went home with a bad attitude. I went to bed with a bad attitude. But at least for all the foot clan that started Darren Fells, at least you got them.

It should have been a rushing touchdown, but then it ended up going to Aaron Jones. And then Aaron Rodgers proceeded to do nothing after that.

Once he threw that pick six, he was a little shell shocked. Came came back, throws another quick interception. And it was like every pass from then on out looked weird from Rogers. Him and Adams were out of sync. He was overthrowing guys. It was just, it was a weird game. And afterwards Aaron Rodgers talked about we needed to get our butts kicked so we can stop, you know, sniffing our own. Our own farts over here.

Yeah. It's just so unexpected. The NFL is crazy. Every week you get two or three games where you're like, what? What happened? And Rogers gets Adams back and puts up a turd.

And makes it a little bit harder to think he's locked and loaded every single week. Teddy Bridgewater. This was not, not a great game against Chicago.

Yeah. So they're not impervious. And then Big Ben, not a good week. Like I said, only 22 pass attempts in this game. And then Matthew Stafford, not a great one. 223 one. He had, I think they had what, three rushing touchdowns on the one three times. You know, Kenny Golladay pulled down on the one.

It was an unfortunate output result for fantasy purposes, but do take solace in the fact that of how good the team looked. The offense looked very good. And Matthew Stafford was finally bombing the the ball down the field again after the week of rest.

No, it was. It was, in fact, Amir Abdullah was the passing downs running back for the Minnesota Vikings.

Who are you more disappointed in the rhetoric around the week from coaching staff saying, hey, we don't change anything about Madison. Or is it Madison himself for not having a good performance?

It's Madison. It's Madison for sure.

I'm mad, son, because he stunk. And the, you know, 10 carries against the Atlanta defense should not result in 26 yards. Maybe if he did better with those carries early in the game. They're not, you know, and they're able to run the ball. They're not throwing as many interceptions. They're in the game. This was a huge disappointment from Alexander Madison, a player. We've waited two years to see this game.

And it was on the back of a second half the week prior. Like, look, Madison doesn't suck. He just flat out doesn't. We saw it the week prior. This was a terrible game, and it sucked. And I blame him for it.

There's a bye week. In all reports from Minnesota, I have the number at 99.99% that Dalvin Cook will be back on the field. This was what you get from Alexander Madison. The hard part is he's rostered everywhere. And now if Cook goes out again, you're not guaranteed cream hunt. He had a hard time against Pittsburgh. The whole Cleveland offense looked like it was what we've seen, not what we were hoping for. So 13 for 40. He ran hard.

Baker probably should not have played. He was.

You saw last week. He got hurt. He had the rib problem. He was shaking his arm for like the whole second half of last week. And then Pittsburgh, they are. They are tenacious about getting to the quarterback. So Baker had a really rough game.

[Mike Wright]

He did not play the whole game, right?

[Jason Moore]

Yeah, he came up eventually.

[Mike Wright]

Todd Gurley, 20 for 47 when he doesn't score. Well, Mike, I loved what you said last week because it. It made sense. Todd Gurley was Kenyan Drake with touchdowns, and he did not get the touchdown this week. He does get a lot of work, though, and so he's still somebody. You're going to start.

[David Johnson]

Yeah. You've got Detroit and then Carolina the next two weeks.

[Jason Moore]

All right?

[David Johnson]

Yeah, he's fine.

[Mike Wright]

All right, here, we need to have a discussion here. Antonio Gibson, I thought he'd take it to 100 this week. He, he did not. Nine for 35 targets, four catches. J.D. mcKissick, 39 snaps. Antonio Gibson, 27 snaps.

[Jason Moore]

Yep.

[Mike Wright]

Sometimes the dream is not the reality. And right now, look, the one thing I brought up about McKissick in the off season was the fact that this head coach brought him in. It wasn't, it wasn't the previous regime. At this point in time it seems very difficult to trust Gibson on a week to week basis because of all the inconsistency in the offense and the snap counts are not all going his way.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah.

[Mike Wright]

What are your thoughts?

[Jason Moore]

The snap counts are not there and McKissick was. McKissick was the one concern I had for Antonio Gibson during the off season. I wasn't worried about Peterson, wasn't worried about Bryce Love. I felt that Gibson could surpass those guys on the depth chart. But the passing work, McKissick was the issue. Washington through. It's not a shock to any of us. They are bad. They are, they are not a good football team right now. And when they are trailing, it's J.D. mcKissick. And so that's where the coaching staff has the trust. And I don't see that changing. Like Dallas, they're going to be losing to Dallas. Then they get to play the Giants again. Maybe they can have a better performance against them. But it's Antonio Gibson probably has to go to your bench for the next couple of weeks.

[David Johnson]

I mean, Gibson did have five, you know, five targets in this game, five in the last three weeks. Every single week he's getting five targets averaging about, you know, north of 15 opportunities a game. I feel like there's enough opportunity being given to him that you can still take the shot at a breakaway touchdown because of his athleticism. But obviously he's been, you know, disappointing the running back. 25, 28 and 25, three the last four weeks.

[Mike Wright]

Well, and I should highlight the actual numbers for McKissick. Eight targets, eight targets, six targets the last three weeks. So. And he had 14 opportunities. So it's, it's tough. I mean you have to make more of your opportunities in a bad situation. Like you don't have the room for error, you don't have the goal line opportunities. I think if you get at the goal line, Gibson's going to get the ball more often than not. It almost feels a little bit like starting David Montgomery week to week.

[Jason Moore]

That's fair.

[Mike Wright]

Where Montgomery, if he can find his way into the end zone. You're like all Right. I guess. I'm glad I played him this week. So I would love to see that big breakaway touchdown from Gibson, though. That'd be nice.

[Jason Moore]

We all would.

[Mike Wright]

All right, Cam makers didn't touch the ball.

[Jason Moore]

We're going to get him more involved.

[Mike Wright]

You willing to just dump him right now? Roster spots are at a premium bye weeks. Covid?

[Jason Moore]

Probably.

[Mike Wright]

I mean, I think I'm willing to cut him.

[David Johnson]

I think you. You might have to.

[Mike Wright]

Henderson looks great.

[David Johnson]

He does. And you know who looks terrible? Malcolm Brown. I mean, every time they gave him.

[Mike Wright]

The balls, like, slow down, Brown.

[David Johnson]

Yeah. It's like, what are you doing? How was it? At least not the Henderson Acres one, two punch.

[Mike Wright]

All right, I. Here's Blooper cup at the wide receiver. Position. Cooper cup ended up three for 11 in this game. He had nine targets. He should have had two touchdowns. He had one blatant, like in zone, two feet in, ball in his hand. Should have been a touchdown. The other one, he broke free down the field and lost the ball in the lights or turning. I. You know, you can say what you want. Maybe you should have caught it, maybe you shouldn't have, but opportunities, yes. Execution, none.

[David Johnson]

I was going to say at the. At the end of the day, what matters is how it came about. Was the player bad? Is this worrisome for the future? And it's not. He had a terrible end result. But you can still rely on Cooper Cup. The Rams were still trying to rely on him. He should have had a good game.

[Mike Wright]

And I think that's the point of this whole segment, is trying to find players. You're actually concerned about Evans and Godwin Evans. I'm not worried about him, but it was a disappointing performance. This is what we've come to expect from Evans. Every once in a while, he just, poof, disappears. Two targets, one catch. No touchdowns this time. And then Chris Godwin. What is the. What is the right way to think About Chris Godwin? Seven targets, 5 for 48. Better defense than Jameis. Had no shootout situation.

[Jason Moore]

Well, and on top of that, you have. You have a run game now like Ronald Jones looks fantastic. He. He is a different player this year. They are able to actually function on the ground. Where last year it was James Wood, it often put the team into a hole. They would have to climb out with the passing game, the running game. Really couldn't get things going on top of that. So everything went to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. This is. I think you do need to. I'm not going to panic on these guys. But you do need to adjust expectations that game scripts are simply not going to be in their favor every single week.

[David Johnson]

And I'm a little bit more worried about Mike Evans. I think he's someone that you might be able to trade high based on the touchdowns he's had, obviously bad weeks. So it feels like it might be difficult. But I will say this. If you look at the games where Chris, you know, Chris Godwin's played in three games. Here are Mike Evans lines in those three games. One reception for two yards, two receptions for two yards and one reception for 10 yards. Touchdowns came in some of those, but it's one of those things where you mix in the game script. You mix in the defense, the running game and Chris Godwin and all of a sudden Mike Evans is going to. He still, he'll still have his big down the field, big plays, big games. But I think more often than not, he's going to not be very good.

[Mike Wright]

One of the things I think you brought up in the off season, Jason, was the idea that you're drafting Evans and Godwin at their absolute ceiling with where they were going in fantasy drafts. And it wasn't that they're not talented. It was that they needed to do what they did last year to justify the draft position. And any changes to this offense aren't going to bring them upwards, most likely. That's pretty compelling, the splits with Godwin in the lineup. That does make me want to maybe shot Mike Evans because touchdowns, those are tough to predict. And Gronkowski getting involved, I mean, maybe it takes him a little bit of time and all of a sudden that's another red zone weapon that takes the. What the one yard. Evans touchdowns away. Interesting. Allen Robinson, nine targets, five for 53. No worries there. No worries about Devonte Adams.

[Jason Moore]

Nope.

[Mike Wright]

No worries about DJ Chark. In my mind, 14 targets. Minshew has been real up and down. Accuracy wise. He has 7 for 45 for chart. Didn't even think he was going to play. So no re injury.

[Jason Moore]

He did not get re injured. Keelan Cole actually came through with a pretty big game. Just there was a. There was a connection problem with D.J. and Gardner for this particular game.

[Mike Wright]

Beckham, who I loved coming into the week with, how Pittsburgh was 28th against opposing fantasy wide receivers. I don't know if there was any downfield targets to go around. I mean, the one thing I noticed different about Keenum compared to Baker, like if I went into the game as a quarterback and I had to wear a flak jacket and my ribs Were like destroyed. One of my hot tips would be the Jimmy Garoppolo game script where the ball was out of my hands. It's into the. It's to Kareem Hunt, it's to the screen game. It's hey, it's first read. Let it fly. Don't hit me in the ribs. Baker just stood there the whole game. He never let it go. I don't know what happened.

[David Johnson]

You saw several plays once Case Keenum came in where it was three step, drop, release the ball and it's like, why weren't you.

[Mike Wright]

Maybe the Minka Fitzpatrick interception made him gun shy to just sling it. I don't know. It was gross. As a result, only four targets for Beckham. I believe one of his two catches came from Keenum. But brighter days ahead, I think for this team, they'll be able to establish their offense against Cincinnati and probably Las Vegas because of the running game. Pittsburgh is a different beast in terms of trying to match them and be able to get it done in the passing game first. So I'm not doing anything with Beckham. Are you guys worried about Beckham?

[Jason Moore]

I'm not worried. It just that you have to understand this is, this is part of the Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns experience for Beckham.

[David Johnson]

Yeah, it is what you're going to get the rest of the season. Good games mixed with bad games. We could bring up Marquis Brown in the same breath. You're going to have possibilities of big plays and you're going to have some bad games. He had 30% of the yards. That's usually phenomenal, right?

[Jason Moore]

I would love to have that percentage.

[David Johnson]

Yes. But if the yards week in and week out are going to be 189 passing yards from, you know, Lamar Jackson, you're going to need 60% of the yards to have a great game.

[Mike Wright]

That's not probably going to need a touchdown.

[David Johnson]

Yes, you're going to need a touchdown. And so. But both of those players, Beckham, Brown, they have big upside, big play ability. They're playmakers. So you can, you could throw them in your lineup and hope for the good games. I mean, there's not that many wide receivers in fantasy that are just week in and week out consistent. So you go for high upside guys.

[Mike Wright]

All right, juju, four targets, two for six. I'm going to ask a tough question here. Do you cut juju Smith, Schuster, forget about the name and move on. You know, there's an option to go get a Travis Fulgham. There's an option to go get you know, a player like, I don't know, Brandon Cooks and here's Juju with the big name. And there's not going to be a forever time to cash in on the name. You guys know how I feel, so I want to see where you're at.

[David Johnson]

We've said this before, we said this early in the season with AJ Green, even though he felt droppable. When you have a big name, you don't drop them, you trade them. And even if you're going to, you know someone out there in a package deal, when you just throw, throw in, just use it as a throw in juju to upgrade somewhere else. I think he can push the needle on someone wanting to take a chance on him, on the big name, on the production. But what you're saying, Andy, is, you know, who has a better rest of season, Fulgham or Juju? Smith, Schuster, Fulgham, who's still on some waiver wires or Juju. That's not an easy question to answer. And, you know, so you're going to get a lot more from Juju in a trade.

[Mike Wright]

It's a good point with the trade. That's a way to cash in on names. Get a little bit of the. It's like getting the value back, not trading, you know, not getting zero back on your investment from the draft. You get like a partial return, like, get out while you can.

[David Johnson]

Right.

[Mike Wright]

It's a stop loss.

[David Johnson]

You got to know when to hold them and know when to fold them.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, yeah, we'll try them all. We'll get full ham millennium Fulghum. We'll try them all. If you got one, send it in.

[David Johnson]

We're.

We're still not there.

Is Julian Edelman done for fantasy football purposes?

[David Johnson]

Yeah, I think you might argue for NFL purposes. He gross. I mean, it was like he's hurt. He started the year. He gave it everything he got. He gave it everything he had. Had his career high in week, 279 yards. And he just looks beat up.

[Mike Wright]

He's leading the NFL in drops and he hasn't played as many weeks as other other wide receivers. He also had the bye week to get healthy. Came back out there, saw him warming up, I was like, maybe he's back.

[David Johnson]

It is worth noting and really pumping the brakes on the entire Patriots performance. Whether that's Cam, Damian Harris, Julian Edelman. They had two of their offensive linemen go on the COVID IR list. The entire offensive lineman shift around. Nobody was playing their normal position. And so, you know, you saw Denver control that game. Part of that was because the Patriots offensive line was unexpectedly trashed. As far as, you know, they didn't have the time to prepare and really plan.

[Mike Wright]

And so Denver did it better then.

[David Johnson]

Yeah.

[Mike Wright]

In that. In that two week span. And if you take Edelman, if Edelman is hurt or if he's washed, which he could absolutely be. Good luck, Cam. Good luck, Cam. Leaning on Nikhil Harry and Demir Bird. No, there have been several offenses that have actually leaned on Demir Bird in recent years and they have all been very bad.

[David Johnson]

Well, they are in the running for that number one pick though, usually.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. Wasn't that Arizona?

[David Johnson]

That is correct.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. With Josh Rosen leaning on Demir Bird to make his career. Jameson Crowder got 13 targets, but only caught seven of them. Flacco effect.

[David Johnson]

If he's, if he's in a full ppr, you get seven receptions, you're okay.

[Mike Wright]

I would trade him now.

[David Johnson]

Sure.

[Mike Wright]

Rashad Perryman came back in this game. The team is spiraling. If you can cash in on these big weeks. I don't know. That'd be my thought.

[Jason Moore]

But I don't, I don't mind. I don't know if anyone's going to trade for Jameson Crowder.

[Mike Wright]

That's a fair point. That's a fair point.

[Jason Moore]

Crowder is. Crowder's just. He's. He's the perfect depth piece for your bench tight ends.

[Mike Wright]

Are you worried about any of these bad performances? Mark Andrews, you're going to.

[David Johnson]

You're going to have a lot of. He is not a kiddo. He is not a Kelsey. Because of what we've talked about with Lamar Jackson, you're going to have big games and bad games.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. You hope for that. He's. He's probably the highest 2 touchdown probability player at the tight end position and yet not going to have the yards. Mike Gasicki, though. This was horrible.

[Jason Moore]

Yes.

[Mike Wright]

And Adam Shaheen was involved.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. I think you might want to look for a different option from.

[Mike Wright]

That is so disappointing, Gooseicki. That's. That's utterly disappointing.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah.

Not yet. I wouldn't move on from Tanya yet. This is not really the game to evaluate the Green Bay packers offense on Evan Ingram.
