Brooks is experiencing the pain of fantasy football that many of you out there may be experiencing. It happens to the best of us outside of our control. Brooks has the most points scored in our Dynasty league. The most.

[Andy Holloway]

He's been dominant and he's got a true competitor.

[Jason Moore]

He's two and four. Ouch.

[Andy Holloway]

Hey, I want to bring this up for the Foot Clan. A lot of people out there struggling with, you know, my team's been a great team. Has a terrible record. Right, Brooks, most points scored. This happens everywhere. And Mike has advocated for a scoring system in the past. I just want to bring it up real quick so that maybe the. Maybe the listeners haven't heard of this before and they're interested in bringing this up to a vote next year. Mike, why don't you explain?

[Mike Wright]

Sure. It's. It's essentially that there are two points available per week. You get a point for winning your matchup, and then you get a point for being a top six scorer. We moved to this format in my money league two or three years ago, and I've. I've really enjoyed it. The league has really enjoyed it. It. It helps out. It helps ease the pain of, of situations like Brooks where you just are snake bit. Your team is dominating, but you just keep getting the worst possible matchup. On a week per week basis. And then, and then you don't just get crushed. Your soul is not destroyed.

[Andy Holloway]

And I believe some platforms now are, they have this as kind of an option in the platform.

[Mike Wright]

We, this, this particular league, we do track it offline. So they, but there are more and more platforms that are making this available.

[Jason Moore]

Is that a lot more work on your commit?

[Mike Wright]

Not a ton. I mean, he puts, does he post once a week?

[Jason Moore]

So then the full standings are offline?

[Mike Wright]

Yes, the official ones are offline.

[Jason Moore]

And then he sets the playoff matchups after, like correct. In the system, after the fact.

[Andy Holloway]

But that's neat because if you, if you get one of those, I scored the second fewest points in the league. My team sucked, but I won. You still get a win. You got a win, but you didn't get the, you didn't get the bonus. And if you scored, do you have.

[Jason Moore]

Divisions in that league?

[Mike Wright]

No.

[Jason Moore]

So it's a league wide point total, correct? Yeah. So obviously you can, you know, a thousand ways you could, you could set that up. That's. It takes some of the sting away from Brooks's situation here where maybe this past week he would have gotten a point.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, but I mean, he's not. His climb out of the, out of the bottom. I mean, he's not, he would not be three games behind at this point.

[Andy Holloway]

What I really like about that is, you know, some people say, well, that's why, you know, it shouldn't be head to head matchup. It should be, you know, just whoever scores the most. And that's, that takes so much out of fantasy. Yes, you, the weekly matchups, the playing against your opponent, the putting in their face and getting them a signed Tevin Coleman card when you beat them. Thanks, Brian.

It's, it's a, it's a matter of rooting for something. You know, when you have a head to head matchup, you root against something and you root for something. It's not just a matter of, you know, cumulative point. That's why I asked about the divisions. I was saying like, you know, divisions are another fun way to build rivalry, things like that. San Francisco, I think. I'm glad. Jason said he listened to the show yesterday. Welcome back, by the way. Yes, he said he listened to the show. And I, I had said, you know, if it's between. If Breed is active. I actually said, go with Breed.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah. I mean, if you started Alfred Morris, you had a frustrating. Sorry, A frustrating night. And it was, it was terrible. And I agree, nothing, nothing came out from any beat reporters that I've seen out of San Francisco. All of a sudden, Raheem Mostert. Yes. I actually verified. It's mustard.

[Jason Moore]

Oh, it's mustard.

[Mike Wright]

Mustard. He.

[Andy Holloway]

And he looked very fast.

[Jason Moore]

Oh, he was great. I mean, he was. He was outstanding. Morris was 0 for 0.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, that was. So that was the big storyline. Lots of players heading into Monday night needing just a few points from Alfred Morris and just having their hearts broken.

[Jason Moore]

Most dirt was 12 for 87.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, Alfred Morris is done. I mean, unless news comes out now that it was, oh, Alfred Morris was actually very injured or got lost on the way to the stadium.

[Andy Holloway]

Well, it's weird because what was it like? Middle of the third quarter, he was in the game and he got a carry, picked up the first down. It was called back on a hole. But it was like, it would have made more sense if he just wasn't, you know, it was like, oh, he was injured. We didn't play him.

[Jason Moore]

It's like, so he had a decent workload the first five games of the season. It looked up until the final moments of the night that Matt Breida was just going to miss the game. There was no talk of Raheem Mostert doing anything. And then he was a complete no show. So this is just fantasy football at its. At its worst. And you stack all that on it being a Monday night where you can't pivot, you can't make an adjustment, you're stuck.

[Andy Holloway]

Right.

[Jason Moore]

Like, if you were a Morris owner and you heard Breida was playing, maybe you would have wanted to pivot off of him, but you couldn't unless you had a Packers running back. But last night, the packers escaped with the victory. You had flashes of success from the various rookie wideouts on Green Bay, but ultimately the headline was Devonte Adams 10 for 132, two touchdowns on 16 targets. None of the rookie wideouts had more than six total targets, and Marquez was ultimately the leader of that pack. But a big catch on the final Drive by eq and Jamona had a catch as well. So look, Aaron Jones again, over five a carry, but only eight carries.

It was so weird. They came out.

[Jason Moore]

The touchdown called back hurt you because now you got nothing from him.

[Andy Holloway]

Right when the game started, I had to listen before I could watch. And I was, I was surprised. Aaron Jones gets the start right off the bat was awesome. Got the touchdown. It was called back, you know, missed it by an inch or whatever. And then I. This was, this was Aaron Jones coming out party. That's how it seemed. And then, and then all of a sudden they said, no, let's, let's share the load. And this is why I said, you know, I've been beating the drum of I don't want a Packer running back. I just don't. I don't want to have to play the roulette. I don't want Jamal Williams on my roster. If you have to have one, it's clearly Aaron Jones, but I get it.

[Jason Moore]

And the thing is, is apparently you can't even predict a matchup at home against CJ Beathard in San Francisco. You would have thought the game script wouldn't have been what it was, which was the packers are on the comeback trail, not the other way around. You know, if they're out ahead, do you see 14, 15 carries? Maybe, but how do you know right now the packers are so disheveled. I've never seen a team look as bad and as good. It was like a sandwich in the middle was poop because it started and it was great. They were on fire. I don't know, it almost seemed like Mike McCarthy said, I'm going to be innovative for the beginning of this game. I'm going to script out like 10 to 15 plays and then I'm going to get back to my roots with the poop roots. And then I'm going to finish this game by just handing it over to Aaron Rodgers.

[Andy Holloway]

The poots.

[Jason Moore]

The poots, yeah. So look, it wasn't good. But let's talk about Marquis.

[Andy Holloway]

Good.

[Jason Moore]

And on the other side, that's where.

[Mike Wright]

I want the conversation to go. 4, 126, two huge receptions, which were. I mean, these were excellent plays by CJ Beathard. Recognizing what the defense was doing and throwing Goodwin open.

[Andy Holloway]

Is.

[Mike Wright]

Is this just the one time thing against Green Bay or are we talking about Marquis? Goodwin is returning to form. He is back to being Markey's great win.

[Andy Holloway]

I'm not going to overreact to this personally.

[Mike Wright]

He's on people's waiver wires right now he is, yes.

[Andy Holloway]

He's.

[Jason Moore]

He's owned in 43% of leagues.

[Andy Holloway]

He's available to be picked up and he is a fine flyer. I think what you saw in the deep ball, he's got the opportunity to do that. So if you're going to pick someone up from the waiver wire, throw him in your roster. You want that upside. But you had Trent Taylor out. You had Pierre Garcon almost missed, hobbled the wide receiving throw.

[Mike Wright]

Dante Pettis was out.

[Andy Holloway]

Dante Pettis is out. This was like one of those opportunities where you should have been able to see this one a little bit early and say this is, this is a pretty good matchup for Goodwin. So I'm not going to overreact and say he's great when he's back.

[Jason Moore]

Robbie Anderson or Marquise Goodwin, who would you rather pick up and potentially start?

[Andy Holloway]

Goodwin. Ooh.

[Jason Moore]

I actually agree because I think Goodwin's the best wide receiver on his team.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, that's fair.

[Jason Moore]

And Robbie Anderson.

[Andy Holloway]

I think Robbie Anderson's probably the best wide receiver on his team. Who would you give that to? Curse Terrell Prior?

[Jason Moore]

He's the best at running fast.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah.

And catching contested catches. But I think Goodwin is more well rounded. But it's a fine line. I mean, Mike, do you agree with Goodwin?

[Mike Wright]

I lean that way. But Robbie Anderson could see a lot of opportunity coming. You just said.

Well, you should have.

[Mike Wright]

Could have seen the game script coming for good one. Well, Robbie's got that with with Quincy Noon one now out for probably four to five weeks. Terrell Pryor is dealing with the groin.

[Andy Holloway]

Does Morris missing last night? Last question before the news. Does him missing basically, you know, being non existent. One snap. Does this open the floodgates for Matt Breida? Assuming he's healthy in your mind?

[Mike Wright]

I think it's. I just think that it's Most Stair or Mustard. Colonel Mustard.

[Andy Holloway]

Colonel Mustard.

[Mike Wright]

Colonel Mustard will be the one stealing snaps away. You can't give what you've seen from Burrito. The dude has gone down three times with season ending injuries only to be Lazarus and return the next week. But you can't give him 20 plus touches a week.

But from a physical profile, I like the fact that Mostert's the guy stealing the snaps because you saw Breida get a touchdown in the goal line situation. Whereas Morris kind of proto.

[Mike Wright]

That's fair.

He personifies a goal line back whereas Mozart doesn't.

[Andy Holloway]

Matt Burrita is. He's going to be great to me. He's A locked and loaded RB2.

I only say cool because I'm sitting here in Dynasty struggling, staring at Marshawn lynch and Carlos Hyde with their feet in the mud and these teams that they're so game script dependent, it's just, it's troubling. All right, news and notes. Adam Schefter reporting that Cooper cup has been diagnosed with an MCL sprain. Not a season ender, but what's the story?

[Mike Wright]

That's usually a multi week injury. Unless you're O.J. howard, then you're, then you're just fine after your bye week. But you got to expect Cooper cup to miss some time.

[Jason Moore]

I imagine Breida would only miss a week too.

[Mike Wright]

Breida would miss first. No time.

[Jason Moore]

He's full Wolverine. All right. Quincy Nunro has a high ankle sprain. He's going to miss some time.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, that's what we were talking about. We'll bring up Jermaine Kurtz's name in a little bit.

Yeah, absolutely. Devonta Freeman, Matt Bryant, they're both expected to be out for week seven. That's a Monday Night Football game. It's better to know it now than to have game time decision.

[Andy Holloway]

Not only is it better to know it now because of the Monday night, but when a player is going to miss. Thank you for telling us this early because he's officially out and I can leave him in my IR and not worry that he's going to turn into a queue and ruin all my waivers in the morning. So that's however, Devonta Freeman, I mean Devonta Freeman and Dalvin Cook are probably the two guys that have wrecked people's team more than anybody because they've been in enough to start them accidentally when they shouldn't. But they've pretty much missed the season.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah. And to be ruled out for a Monday night game and he got ruled out yesterday on Monday this. Hopefully Freeman will be back in a week, but there is definitely concern.

All right, let's go to this news. Hugh Jackson confirming Baker Mayfield's ankle injury will not affect his week seven status. It's kind of, you know, you probably normally wouldn't be considering Baker, but we talked about the schedule and we talked, you know, this week specifically with the bye weeks. Big Ben, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, they're all out. So if you're in a league that's deeper, if you're in a league where you need to find a streamer, he's at least worth a sideways glance.

[Mike Wright]

Oh, yes, I believe he is.

[Andy Holloway]

He would have been probably my stream of the week. I do worry about the ankle a little bit from swelling and ruining some of his mobility that, you know, helps his game a lot. You saw kind of a. He did not look the same in the second half this last week. So I. He'll. It's not going to ruin his availability to be the starter, but it's could ruin his ability as the starter.

[Jason Moore]

Nice. That was good. Bill's rookie, Josh Allen will not snart on. Will not snart. That's what you call when Allen goes in. It's a snart.

It's funny like the whole like a snort. We have such a weird view. Like Josh Allen, obviously he's trying to do something with nothing in Buffalo. He's so much better than their other options.

And yet he's so irrelevant for fantasy football. There's a day coming where he's relevant if they get him some weapons just because he runs, man, Josh Allen's not going to start. Not considered a major injury, but he's probably going to miss more than one week.

Yes. Yes. He'll definitely miss more than one week. In my opinion, based on the injury and some of the people that I've been reading. This means start your get this Colts. Yeah. And yes, I am willing to start the Colts defense against Buffalo. The over under on one pick six. I'm taking the over because Nathan Peterman is great at throwing touchdowns to that other team.

Where's the Bell sound? Oh, do you want the Pittsburgh Post Gazette? They're reporting the Steelers. Don't expect holdout Levy and Bell to report to the team this week. Who knows?

This could get messy for everybody.

It's. This is their bye week. So he can still return next week and be back in game action. But who knows? Who knows what Le'Veon Bell is doing? I don't think he knows what he's doing.

I think that I do not believe and we talked about this yesterday and Jason wasn't there to weigh in. So I'll direct the question to Jason. I do. I'm starting to believe more and more with Conor's success that he will steal some of the snaps away from Lev Bell. Now, that might not matter in a very Camara Ingram way. It might not matter much to Leve Bell's bottom line, so to speak, but I don't think that they're going to push him to the side. If you listen to the way Big Ben talks about him. If you listen to the way that this team talks about him.

Yeah. I mean it's not going to be.

What it was last year for Liv.

It's so anti Mike Tomlin. Mike Tomlin has always had a dedicated workhorse back. When that guy goes down, the next guy up does not split. He's just the next guy forever. But James Conner's their future. James Conner is the running back that Mike Tomlin is going to work with over the next, you know, three, four years. So I would be hard pressed to believe he's just going to disappear. I think James Conner will have value and that means it'll eat in a little bit to love Bell.

[Jason Moore]

Does it give you any. Are you in the same boat where you're still trying to move Connor right now?

[Andy Holloway]

Look, I'm a Conner owner in our league of record. I was offering him for, you know, Kenyon Drake this last week. Trying to get someone. Yeah, I mean I've got a bipocalypse this week so I would like to have a player.

All right, let's start at the wide receiver position and let's get into the main pickups. The main guys that I'm excited about and number one on the list for me is is far and away Jermaine Curse.

[Mike Wright]

Agreed.

[Jason Moore]

Jermaine Kerst is a good player. He is a good wide receiver and he has a competent quarterback. Quincy Nunois had great success with the target share he was receiving. He is out. Jermaine Curse returned, was more and more involved and then in this past week had 10 targets for nine receptions and 94 yards. Terrell Pryor had a good week with Enunois absence and Terrell Pryor is banged up and may miss this week. So Jermaine Kearse to me is an instant sign in play.

[Andy Holloway]

Do you remember last year when Jermaine Kearse Had a similar opportunity for targets. He had back to back weeks last year, 7 for 105 and a touchdown. Followed that up with 9 for 157. So yes, Jermaine Kearse is a guy that can get it done on the field. I don't really, you know, love the situation, rookie quarterback, all that but I mean Darnold's been able to get it done enough. I agree that curse would be the guy if I need a start that I would be going after.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, he's. He instantly becomes a wide receiver. Three to me. Which is a guy that should be started.

[Jason Moore]

Yeah. Those two games you referenced, he had 10 and 11 targets. I mean he at least has performed to that level. You're not wondering if it's possible? He's by far my favorite. Do you look at Prior as well? Because he's banged up and because the noon was going to miss time. 5 for 57 and 1 last week. I don't know.

[Andy Holloway]

I think you have to take your shot on who the guy's going to be and I'm going to take the shot that it's going to be Jermaine Curse. And by the guy, I mean targets.

[Mike Wright]

Yes.

[Andy Holloway]

That's all I care about. Yes. Robbie Anderson is the type that he could have three targets and have the best game. But I would rather have the Quincy Dunmore role which is now Jermaine curses.

[Jason Moore]

All right. And then we talked about Marquis Goodwin. Would you sign curse or Goodwin now? I'm curse firmly in the curse category because I want those targets.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, I lean Jermaine curse as well.

[Andy Holloway]

But it's really.

So they play the Los Angeles Rams. They being The San Francisco 49ers and Marquise Goodwin. And if you've seen what Marcus Peters has been doing for his opponents.

He's been just been real kind and giving them touchdowns and yards and all sorts of stuff. Philanthropic Goodwin is a. Yes. Goodwin is a man of the year.

Yeah. So I think I would lean Goodwin there because I generally for wide receivers, I'm looking at a week. I'm not looking at who do I want.

I'd still rather play Curse against Minnesota.

Maybe Goodwin's, you know, half owned so he's going to be a little bit harder to pick up. Anyways Curse promise he's available.

Yeah, that's fair. One of the guys that I was looking at this past week I didn't like a couple wide receiver matchups and he's in our list today. And in the waiver wire pickups is Christian Kirk, Cardinals wide receiver. I thought about streaming him last week. He was in the same category in my mind as Chester Rogers was in Indianapolis. Cardinals wideout rookie Christian Kirk last week. 6 for 77 on seven targets. What I like about Kirk is a few things. One, he has the best rapport with Rosen of any wide receiver on the team, including Larry Fitzgerald. He's just spent more time with him. He's the future of the Cardinal franchise with Rosenberg. The other part I really like is unlike Larry current, Larry Kirk has a game breaking ability. He can take a slant route to the house. He can get over the top of the defense. And so because you mix and match like favorite target with that look, they're Thursday night.

[Andy Holloway]

There are a number of, I mean, you know, if you have a Tyler Lockett or Juju or Antonio Brown, these are guys on by this week. Doug Baldwin, there's, there's a significant amount of players on by. You may need to stream a wide out. I don't think you. I think Christian Kirk is in that category. Denver's defense has been bad the past four weeks.

[Mike Wright]

Christian Kirk is averaging, yeah, six and a half targets, five receptions and 70 yards for four weeks. I mean he's, he is absolutely getting it done.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, there's a couple other guys that I look at at wide receiver that I'm still excited about that if I've got those buys I'd like to pick up. The two that stand out to me are Taylor Gabriel and Godwin. I think that both. Taylor Gabriel has been interesting. His, his target count, his utilization, his snap percentage, everything across the board shows that the opportunity is there for him. And he doesn't look like he's lost a ton of his speed, you know, the last two weeks.

[Jason Moore]

Why would, why would he have lost his speed?

[Andy Holloway]

Well, I'm just Age. Age.

[Jason Moore]

What do you mean?

[Mike Wright]

I'm just 27.

He's a youngster.

Well, I mean, look, nobody's doubting.

Two years ago, you know, Taylor Gabriel was the new hotness and then all of a sudden he had a down year. Last year he goes and signs with Chicago and nobody, everyone Has a down year. Nobody wants Taylor Gabriel, but he's over 100 yards two weeks in a row. Last two weeks, what, 120, 224 yards and two touchdowns. And he's playing against New England. Who takes out the number one option usually on the defense. That's not Taylor Gabriel.

Right. That'll be Alan Robinson.

[Andy Holloway]

So he's interesting to me.

[Jason Moore]

Tyreek Hill. That speed killed New England on Sunday night. Yeah. Otherwise, what are some other names that stick out? There are a lot, I mean, a lot of bye weeks. Dante Adams is on by this week as well. So is there somebody else you want to bring up? I mean, Cortland Sutton's been getting targeted regularly, but that's a Thursday night game. But Arizona's defense might be focused, you know, Patrick Peterson more focused on the bigger names there. Could Sutton have a big game on Thursday?

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, Sutton could. I mean, he's got the talent to do it. I tell you who, I'm not picking up. Antonio Calloway. You're dead to me. Next year, next year. Come back strong.

[Mike Wright]

Maybe I'm still intrigued. I mean, 10 targets. He was being shadowed by Casey Hayward. Even Jarvis Landry had a horrific game. And the matchup, the matchups are so juicy for Callaway. Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, the next three weeks. I know we've been talking about it and it hasn't happened, but how about Andy and they have no one left at the wide receiver position. I mean, they're just getting banged up. It's. It's Jarvis and Antonio Calloway.

[Andy Holloway]

Speaking of. Stop. Antonio Calloway can't catch ball. Albert Wilson, Tyree Kill Light. He's had a couple big games. What if Brock Osweiler is the quarterback this next week? It's not a bad matchup against Detroit. Do you.

I didn't think we'd ever have a conversation. You're bending the what if Brock Osweiler is the quarterback in the direction of a positive for somebody.

[Andy Holloway]

You're the one that needs to answer this. We talked a lot about Albert Wilson on the show yesterday and whether we bought into, you know, the potential there. I don't know. I mean, they play Detroit. I think it's a. You're kind of coin flipping with. With him. He needs a big play.

Yes, he needs a big play. And you're chasing points here to some degree. He's just been so fast this year. I mean, you know, if you look at.

[Jason Moore]

He's so fast, you might say he.

Has not lost his spe. Indeed, Jason.

Yes, I agree with that 22 years old, 26 year old Albert Wilson.

But I mean this season, the way that the NFL is opening things up, spreading the ball around, throwing it deep, you, you see huge fantasy performances, more I feel like this year than in the past from just the speedster guys. And so I'm, you know, it is a little deeper. I would rather play Taylor Gabriel over Albert Wilson because I believe far more in the target volume and the quarterback than I do over Brock Osweiler. But I still think on, you know, on this week where you've got all these buys, Albert Wilson is at least someone you should sniff.

[Mike Wright]

What about the name, by the way?

[Jason Moore]

He's the other than Tyree Kill. He's got the fastest play on the season. Tyreek Hill has the two fastest plays on the season.

[Andy Holloway]

At the end of the season, he'll have the five fastest plays of the year.

[Mike Wright]

Atlanta wide receiver Justin Hardy, I only bring his name up because Muhammad Sanu left the game with an injury. Calvin Ridley left the game with an injury. He had the mri, things came back clean, but we'll see.

[Jason Moore]

He. Yeah, I mean it's a no for me.

And that's because it's a Monday Night Football game. And so unless we have definitive news because right now the head coach, Dan Quinn is confident that both guys will be active on Monday night.

And because of that confidence and because your waiver wire is tomorrow, I don't think Hardy's going to get picked up anyway. So maybe you can pick him up later in the week. I think it's a good name to bring up because if you get on Thursday, Friday, you hear both guys are out then.

Yeah, hold. We'll get to Josh Reynolds. But my point for Hardy is Atlanta's playing a lot better on offense than the Giants are.

We talked about them last week. Corey Clement, Wendell Smallwood. I think Clement's going to be the one with the upward trajectory here. Smallwood still involved, still startable. They play Carolina at home this next week. Any thoughts on those two guys? Other than what I just said?

It's New England light. You can start both guys every week. And, you know, Corey Clement will be the Sony Michelle role and Winnell Smallwood will be more of the James White role. Neither one anywhere near as good, but yeah, and probably owned Marlon Mack.

[Jason Moore]

Are you interested? 12 for 89 last week. Certainly the guy faces Buffalo this week. Buffalo's been. They've been pretty good the last few weeks on defense, but still, a guy that had a week like that, who seems to be the main backfield player, had two targets. Marlon Mack's been your guy for a long time, Jason.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, no, I'm absolutely interested in Marlon Mack. I said before the season I was in on Mac prior to the injury because when I went back and I watched every snap that I could find of the Marlon Mack of Naim Hines and Jordan Wilkins and Robert Turban and all those guys, I came away saying, the clear best running back is Marlon Mack. I know I was. It wasn't unanimous here, but that was my take. He got injured. He's been off the field, but as soon as he got back, he looked great. This is an offense that's moving the ball with Andrew Luck. I would absolutely pick him up, take a shot at having the starting running Back who in a valuable offense.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah, he's worth the pickup to me. Gets to take on Buffalo and Oakland. Marlon Mack is not game script proof.

[Andy Holloway]

He would.

[Mike Wright]

He was vastly out snapped by Nahim Hines. Now, Marlon Mack had the production, I understand that, but he played about 35% of the snaps. Having said that, the game script should be better for the Colts against Buffalo against Oakland for the next two weeks. But the Colts defense is so rough. I don't know if I wouldn't consider Marlo Mack a real long term solution.

[Andy Holloway]

Yeah, but he's, he's, he's very capable.

[Mike Wright]

For the next two weeks for a bye week.

I'm still not convinced that the snap count was not partly due to the fact that he's getting back from being injured the whole season. You know, I never thought that they were going to just bring him back in and be like, okay, 60% snaps, get on the field. You're the guy.

Yeah. I look at that situation like, I don't know if I buy into the sentiment that it's a good offense. I don't think it's a good offense. And you can look at the tape and watch all those guys. I look at that like, okay, I'm going to serve you the best green beans anybody's ever made. But I don't like green beans. So you can make it look as nice as you want.

A lot of people like green beans.

But he's somebody I'm paying attention to and that's. And then Latavius Murray if he's out there. Because even though it's Arizona, 24 carries gets me a little bit. Gets me a little excited, little flustered.

Yeah, I think Peyton Barber is another player to look at. 33% owned. He was. I'm sure he's been dropped a lot this year, you know, recently, because I.

Thought the move was happening.

Everyone, you know, thought it was switching over to Ronald Jones and it's not. It's Peyton Barber's team and so he's the starting running back. I know he was poor as the starting running back the first few weeks. We say this all the time. There's just not starting running backs out there on the waiver wire. Are you picking up Gore or Barber? Barber.

Barber. I'll take the higher high flying offense of Tampa Bay. I'll take the risk.

No. So Ido Smith is a guy that I've been slow to come around on.

Yeah. I've been trying to push Edo Smith on you for a while.

I think he's pretty guaranteed. Yeah, I took a look. He has the same amount of red Zone carries as David Johnson.

You know, it's nice that they have been using him in this role with their porous defense. And we've seen Matt Ryan, I mean, you know, we forget Matt Ryan used to use Tony Gonzalez. Yeah, a ton. And to see Hooper kind of grow into that role, he's definitely a weekly start for me right now. He's not a must pick up and start. I'm not going to be dropping other, you know, Trey Burton not going to say, oh, I've got nine, nine reception.

Two weeks in a row. I'm not going to drop Trey Burton for Austin Hooper now.

I mean Trey Burton's confusing. He keeps scoring but he's getting two receptions.

I'm more excited about a guy that's not owned that is going to be relevant for the remainder of the season and that is C.J. uzama, the tight end for the Cincinnati Bengals. 6 for 54 on seven targets. Has Kansas City, Tampa Bay the next two weeks. C.J. usama will be targeted. He will make plays, he's athletic and Croft is a quote might return at some point this season. Ifert's done. Usama is relevant.

I think it's an important question because I think the majority of fantasy owners would instantly say Hooper by default and I would say Hooper too.

I'm being just being jocular over here with the oscooper. I've side mostly with Andy that I'm not completely bought in that the breakout has happened for Hooper but it's at least in the realm of possibilities which is why I would take the shot.

Okay. How about another about half owned player so might not be available but because he was injured and off of of bye week dropped a lot of places. Where does O.J. howard mix in with those other two players? To me the top. Yeah I was going to say I would rather have O.J. howard than either of those other guys.

[Mike Wright]

Agree.

Because the ceiling is enormous like he is.

Yeah, I completely agree. And if you're having tight end struggles the Vance McDonald he's available in half of leagues but he's going to be on by so he'll be there is a great chance that he has dropped Vance McDonald is the type of tight end that I would hold on to if I have to double up. Gross. I get it. If I have to double up at the tight end position to cover Vance McDonald's bye week I would not drop him.

[Andy Holloway]

There's just so many teams that will be forced to drop him because you don't always have enough players to drop on a bye week. You know if you've got not only him on bye week if he was your only tight end but let's say you've got another running back or wide receiver on by you're not going to be able to drop a lot of people. Yeah. Vance McDonald will be dropped a lot of places. If you've got the roster spot, pick him up.

[Jason Moore]

I'm just looking at the game log. Froston Hooper. All of last season he had one game in which he had nine targets and all of last year.

[Mike Wright]

Yeah.

And then this year that's why it's been 4, 5, 4 and 2. These are the. Not the. He's never had double digit targets and now he's had it in two straight weeks. It's very interesting. It's very scary. I think he's a good, not great athlete. So we'll. This is make. This is like full fire.

I don't have supreme confidence this week. That's the way I would put it. I see games that can be. They can bend the right direction. But like my stream of the week has the words EW next to it and it's Joe Flacco against New Orleans. Now New Orleans is playing better. Joe Flacco, the matchup, it looks pretty good. He's got weapons. John Brown can beat people deep. Crabtree had it coming out last week and look, he has his full allotment of four tight ends to throw the ball to. So I think Flacco, I mean he's my stream of the week because I think he can get it done. I mean he's at home against New Orleans so you could do worse than Joe Flacco.

[Mike Wright]

I'm with it. My stream of the week also you. But I'm with it, man. Eli Manning, he gets to take on the Atlanta Falcons. Here are the point totals for the that opponents have scored on the Atlanta Falcons the past four weeks. 43, 37, 41, 29. It's been rough. It's been tough sledding for the New York Giants. I absolutely get that. But the Falcons defense, they're just too hurt. They're too banged up to stop anyone. And on top of that, their offense is amazing. Keeping games really, really high scoring. He's still fast and the weapons are there. New England will score. You know, Nagy, look, Matt Nagy is coming from Andy Reid's system. The Andy Reid system that just put up 40 points on the Patriots. And no, they don't have Pat Mahomes, they don't have Tyree Kill. But if you don't think that Matt Nagy can't go to Andy Reid and say, hey, hey, old buddy, old pal.

This is a team that scored 30 plus points for two straight weeks against teams they weren't expected to do that against. That's all I need to know. He's. He made a noonwa very relevant early in the season. And curse is good enough. I think you could be picking up a PPR machine. I would spend more in Jermaine Curtis. Yeah, I would say I would be.
