Andy Holloway
Welcome in, Jason. It's Christmas time.
Jason Moore
Yeah, baby. See you later, Halloween. Hello, Christmas.
Andy Holloway
I saved it for you.
Jason Moore
Thank you.
Andy Holloway
You're welcome. My tree's up.
Jason Moore
No, it's not.
Andy Holloway
Oh, yeah, it is.
Mike Wright
No, it's not.
Jason Moore
Oh, yes, it is, Andy. Is Halloween over?
Mike Wright
Halloween's over.
Jason Moore
Then Christmas trees be up.
Mike Wright
Are you on that boat?
Jason Moore
I broke out all my Christmas vinyls, which, to be fair, is one vinyl.
Andy Holloway
Which one?
Jason Moore
Michael Buble. It's a nice red colored vinyl. Put that on in the house, listening to Christmas tunes. Of course. It's Christmas time.
Mike Wright
I told you, I tried your little. Yeah, I tried your method.
Andy Holloway
That's fine, Grinch. You stay over there.
Mike Wright
Oh, no. Look, I tried it. Grinch wouldn't have tried it.
Andy Holloway
Oh, he did, actually. He tried it. He loved it. I don't know if you've seen the film. His heart grew two sizes.
Mike Wright
He didn't. I don't think the film was based on the second that the Halloween decorations come down. It is Christmas time.
Jason Moore
Well, we don't know when it started. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
You ever seen the sequel to the Grinch? The best part is it's Christmas all the time.
Mike Wright
I tried it. I didn't care for it. It made it feel artificial. It wasn't a natural. There wasn't a sprinkle in the air. You know what I mean?
Jason Moore
I know what you're saying.
Mike Wright
Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Jason Moore
I don't feel that way.
Mike Wright
I know you don't. It's okay. I actually Thought Christmastime was just related to the news that Dennis Allen had been caned.
Jason Moore
See you later, sucker.
Mike Wright
I mean, just take the thermometer down. He's not there. And they don't rip our wall. What a waste of money. We.
Andy Holloway
Spike.
Jason Moore
Goodbye, goodbye.
Mike Wright
You go goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.
Jason Moore
Goodby.
Mike Wright
See you later.
Jason Moore
Oh, so good. After they went two and oh, and I'm starting to look at the next week going, man, if they win, they just got to go 500, I'm going to have to shave my head. And that's where they stopped winning.
Mike Wright
Yeah, well, you know, he's gone. And you know what it is? It's losing to Bryce Young.
Andy Holloway
Dude, we mentioned it on the show, like the trajectory of the Saints. If they lose this game to Carolina, that seat's going to get real hot. I didn't know it was immediately to a volcano.
Mike Wright
It would be my final straw. I mean, it is a scapegoat thing to a degree. I mean, the injuries have been outrageous for New Orleans, including in this game. I mean, Chris Olave is one of the biggest storylines that we're going to talk about today. He's in trouble. He's in, like, career trouble at this point.
Jason Moore
Oh, for sure. I mean, a lot has been made about tua. His, his concussion history has been a little bit more in the public eye. It seems like it's always a prime time game and because he's a quarterback.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
And it affects the whole team so much more significantly. But there's a. There are some significant parallels in the just severity and amount of concussions now, even dating back to college, that Chris Olave has. Has had to deal with. So it's. I mean, we expect IR for Olavia.
Mike Wright
I don't think he will play football this season.
Jason Moore
Oh, I hope that is. I don't even know what I hope for. This is one of those things where it's like, I want to be healthy playing football.
Mike Wright
He was in the locker room after the game. That was the good news. Discharged from the hospital in the locker room, wanted to be around for the firing, I guess, and I heard there's.
Jason Moore
Going to be a party here.
Mike Wright
But I mean, the Saints, look, here's what we know. They're going to have a high pick. They need a quarterback. My draftkings team was erased the moment that that play happened.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, dude, that was such a bummer.
Mike Wright
But at the same time, you can look at the situation for Dennis Allen and say, well, you've lost now your top three pass catchers. It's Just kind of. It's just spiral. Ever since we hung the thermometer on the wall, ever since your remaining hair has been threatened.
Andy Holloway
Have you thought about a celebration shave?
Jason Moore
I have thought of. I mean, I did shave the side, so I'm.
Andy Holloway
You're almost there.
Jason Moore
It was like an honorary for you. Dennis Allen, he wanted to show it.
Mike Wright
But not that much.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I don't have that much to.
Mike Wright
Show, so we have a lot to get to. We've got more news. We'll give you the latest on Olave and some of the other big breaking news of the weekend, including injury reports that we all know. Tomorrow's a big day. Trade deadline.
Jason Moore
Oh, yeah.
Mike Wright
Trade deadline.
Jason Moore
Fantasy football for our country. Because the NFL trade deadline is here.
Mike Wright
Buyers and sellers. We'll see what happens.
Jason Moore
Cardinals, get yourself a pass rush.
Mike Wright
Divisional leaders. The Cardinals. Let's go over to.
Jason Moore
Oh, yeah. Let's check in on the Falcons health. How you doing down there?
Mike Wright
Came to work. Congrats, guys.
Jason Moore
Thank you.
Mike Wright
Mishandedly. I can hand it to you. Yeah. Your voice getting deeper there. It's a little raspy today. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
What was going on last night?
Jason Moore
Barry White over here.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
About six packs.
Mike Wright
Yeah, He's.
Andy Holloway
Goodness gracious.
Mike Wright
He smokes in the bathroom. All right, we've got your reactions to the weekend. And normally I have Jason take a look at these before we hit the button. But I don't think he got to him yet.
Jason Moore
I have not.
Mike Wright
So you guys are riding dirty.
Andy Holloway
Oh, yes.
Mike Wright
Well, we'll start with Jason's main man, Divine Achan.
Jason Moore
Yes, he is. How about Cedric? T.D. man.
Mike Wright
Oh, baby.
Jason Moore
Whoa. Burrow.
Mike Wright
And we've got a trifecta here. Yeah, Burrow. Five touchdowns.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Jackson Smith win.
Jason Moore
Jigba Jackpot. Smith N. Jigba. Yay. Sn.
Andy Holloway
Why am I just.
Mike Wright
You're ye. Sn. You're ye. Sn. We got Cooper. Yup.
Jason Moore
Oh, I love this one. Saquon back leap.
Andy Holloway
Oh, he farted on that guy.
Jason Moore
Saquon Beastly Rico Woutle, Mike Whicky and Mike.
Mike Wright
You get this one.
Andy Holloway
Lamar's powers bring zay flowers.
Mike Wright
Yes. And the Weeknd. I'll tell you, it wasn't like last week. It was a lot more negative than it was positive. And we always begin each week with Starvin Harrison Jr. Yeah.
Jason Moore
Marvin embarrassing Junior.
Andy Holloway
Or Kyle Pitts of despair.
Mike Wright
Or Pitts Creek.
Jason Moore
How about punch a Nakua? That's a good one.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Kuka Nuka.
Mike Wright
Yeah. And breeze stalls.
Jason Moore
Raheem Moist turn.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
Raheem Moist turd. Oh, that's Gross. Disgusting.
Mike Wright
Mike, go ahead. Jonathan Taylor and Sameest Winston.
Jason Moore
Oh, how about Tucker? Crap.
Andy Holloway
Oh, they're on fire today. Dactose intolerant.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Mike Wright
And we'll close it out with AJ frown.
Jason Moore
Dude, I'm never pre reading these ever again.
Mike Wright
See, it's better if you don't.
Jason Moore
It is, but they're not always this good. Moistured Dactos intolerance. Yeah, I mean, I mean good job, Foot Clan.
Mike Wright
Yeah, nice job. Nice job. We had a weekend. You can submit your Monday punday suggestions entries on Instagram at Fantasy footballers over on X at the FF Ballers. Quick shout out. Before we get into Ready to Roll, we have the in season app. A lot of you got in there this weekend. If you are a member that supports this podcast@jointhefoot.com the app version of the ultimate dashboard and all of the Foot Clan perks available to you.
Andy Holloway
People love it.
Mike Wright
If you're on Android, you're not clapping because that comes out this week.
Jason Moore
So old.
Mike Wright
The iOS first class citizens, they got it like a couple days early because we gotta get it through approvals but it is still. Some of you have suffered a bug here, there, all of that's getting worked on this week. I'm just really excited. We saw the reviews come in, people. I saw the word game changer, right? You've got the ultimate dashboard in your pocket.
Jason Moore
It was awesome to use this weekend. It really was. If you haven't used it, definitely download it. Our end season app is, I mean it was really, really nice. Quick accessible to help set my lineups and do everything and you know, those last second spot starts. Especially when you're in a more than one league. You know, if you're in one league, okay. But if I. If you're in three or like us in same, you know, like nine main leagues, goodness gracious, I need a tool.
Mike Wright
So continued updates coming your way. Shout out to our dev team here who's been working their butts off. I mean, they don't have butts.
Jason Moore
Yeah, they're gone.
Mike Wright
They have no butts.
Andy Holloway
They've been worked off.
Mike Wright
They are worked straight off. Sitting is uncomfortable, but shout out to them on the hard work.
Andy Holloway
You ever sat directly on a tailbone?
Mike Wright
No, no, I. Well, they have. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
You have.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I'm pretty skinny. Oh, here we go.
Andy Holloway
Got pancake butt.
Jason Moore
Welcome to Ready to Roll presented by Nissan.
Mike Wright
I'm going to be honest, I have been jealous of the badonkadonk when I get into a place where I need to sit on a metal bleacher you know what I mean?
Jason Moore
Oh, yeah, I got it.
Mike Wright
I bet you're.
Jason Moore
I bring my pads with me. Yes, sir, I do.
Andy Holloway
Gotta get on that squat machine, man.
Mike Wright
I bring my pads with me. It was the squats that did it for you.
Jason Moore
Oh, sure, sure.
Andy Holloway
It's squats for you. It's like standing burgers for you.
Mike Wright
No, no, no. I mean, you're really taking away a good thread of jokes from the show with your good health of recent history.
Jason Moore
Which it's really stupid.
Mike Wright
Well, you know, not for your long term. Not for your long term health, but.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
But for the show's long term health. Yeah, I hit the button already.
Jason Moore
Yeah, you did.
Mike Wright
I almost said it again. All right, ready to roll. We're always taking a look at some analytics on this segment. Every Monday, something we're reflecting on we want to bring to light. We got the red zone report inside of the Foot Clan tools. And so we wanted to dive in, take a look at what teams now at the halfway point are very effective in the red zone. Thus far, we've got the top six teams. I'm curious your opinion on maybe some actionable fantasy advice you can take out of this information.
Andy Holloway
It's trying to find teams that are. Maybe they're running too hot or too cold or like Washington, they're running hot, but it could be better.
Mike Wright
Well, I mean, the truth is these are teams that are effective in terms of capitalizing on touchdowns inside the red zone, inside the 20. And right now, I mean, Baltimore is kind of outrageous. They're sitting at 74% of the time inside the red zone. They're scoring a touchdown. They have 29 red zone touchdowns. The league average, by the way, is 56%. So you are. You're sitting nearly 20% higher than the league average. Buffalo has been very effective in the red zone. Maybe a common theme there. You have two quarterbacks that can move with their legs. Oh, wait, we also have Washington. That's been very effective.
Andy Holloway
But that's where I wanted to point out here for Washington, like Washington, of the teams we're talking about, they're averaging the most red zone plays per game, near like over 19. And.
Mike Wright
But their percentage is below average.
Andy Holloway
Their red zone touchdown rate is low. There's only 21 compared to, like, the Ravens, who have 29. But red zone field goals for Washington. So that's what I mean of they.
Mike Wright
Could be a team.
Andy Holloway
Their offense is fantastic. Like the Washington. The tournament of the Washington Commanders is bravo. It will probably end up being the story of the season. Once we look back. But I mean, if you just a couple of those field goals, if we turn those into more touchdowns, then this is. This is ludicrous, what they're doing.
Jason Moore
Yeah. You can look at it either direction. You can say they're either inefficient in the red zone, but they're getting there so often that that's. That might go away, they might not stay on the same fiery pace, and then they're not converting touchdowns enough. Or you can look at it as in they're getting there all the time. And they could even get. I think with a rookie there. I mean, you look at right now, what's happening is they're moving the ball phenomenally, but they're struggling in the red zone to convert to touchdowns because they've got a rookie who's not used to the condensed field where, you know, the defenders are in position. So I tend to agree with you, Mike, that it could still get actually better for the commanders.
Mike Wright
They have missed Brian Robinson and two and a half games, essentially, which doesn't help your red zone conversion rate. Also, the field shrinks. And, you know, he's been so effective moving it between 20s. That is an area where a rookie is going to struggle a little bit.
Jason Moore
Are you saying a good running back helps red zone efficiency?
Mike Wright
Yes. Let's talk about the Lions.
Jason Moore
Well, the Lions are there. I was actually talking about Mr. Derek Henry. That dude is insane. You know, since 2007, not many teams have been over 72% conversion to touchdown rates in the red zone. Let me name them for you. You've got the Tennessee Titans in 2019, which was Derek Henry. You got the 2020 Packers. You got this year's Baltimore Ravens, Derek Henry. Oh, you got the Titans in 2020 with Derek Henry. You have the 2020 Steelers, the 2013 Broncos with Peyton Manning. Of course. Then you got the Titans with rookie Derek Henry. So it's like that dude is built different. And I know we talk about, like, the punishing nature of Derek Henry and the business decisions and whatnot, but when I was watching this last game.
Mike Wright
Yeah. You were pointing them out frequently.
Jason Moore
It was like, I just. I felt for the defense. I felt for them on a human level.
Mike Wright
I was like, for their families, for their.
Jason Moore
There was a screen pass to Henry where he's literally a locomotive going down the field and he gets tripped up. But as the camera is moving, you see, like the defender who was just about to have to deal with it.
Andy Holloway
It was a DB that was stand. Like he was standing.
Jason Moore
He was ready he was pumping himself up, you know, like we could do. And then I'm sure when the guy ahead of him tackled him, he's like, yes, bodies.
Mike Wright
You see that skinny, skinny db. That truck sticked Henry, like last week and just put him on his butt. I think he was. It was at Cincinnati.
Andy Holloway
I don't recall.
Jason Moore
I remember. I remember the play.
Mike Wright
Any sense when you looked at the.
Jason Moore
Two of them came from the side.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Just like knocked him over.
Mike Wright
So those are your effective teams. You've also got. Tampa Bay has been very effective. I mentioned the Lions and the Bengals are worth mentioning because they're throwing the ball so much. Joe Burrow leads the NFL in past attempts inside the 20 without Joe Mixon, who has kind of turned off the passing faucet in Houston. Joe Burrow, it's his responsibility. Five touchdowns could have been six this weekend. And so you look at Joe Burrow and say, hey, maybe this is. You know, that's a more predictive one to me. That's not a regression one. You don't have the personnel. Chase Brown is good between the twenties, but you don't have the personnel that to Derek Henry the ball into the end zone in Cincinnati. So I think they're going to continue to throw in the red zone. Here are the bottom six. You tell me whether you believe any of these teams improves and whether that's prescriptive for fantasy and picking up players on those rosters. Bottom six, the Giants.
Jason Moore
Nope.
Mike Wright
The Cowboys have 11 red zone touchdowns. That is 10 fewer than the Commanders. And they are scoring on 45% of drives.
Andy Holloway
They're in trouble.
Mike Wright
If you read Zach's or Dak Prescott's lips on the sideline, you can tell what everyone knows.
Andy Holloway
He's not happy with the state of the Cowboys.
Mike Wright
He included himself.
Jason Moore
Yeah, it was a we.
Mike Wright
It was a we.
Jason Moore
He basically said we suck. He said we suck on the sidelines. Caught.
Andy Holloway
Little more emphatic.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Some words can't say here, but, like.
Andy Holloway
The Cowboys, CD Lamb got banged up.
Mike Wright
Gee whiz. We suck. That's what it was.
Andy Holloway
CD Lamb just. They kept putting him back in. I mean, him putting himself back in, I'm sure, but at what cost? And then Dak left the game with a hamstring and a hand injury that we don't yet have a status update, but they're. They could be in big trouble.
Mike Wright
Yeah, the Cowboys. I don't. I don't think that's a positive regression. The Steelers. The Steelers are not very effective at getting there, but I could, you know, I don't. I don't think that's what I'm aiming for. The Packers. Yes, the Packers. I think we have seen a multitude of things impact this number. Injury to their quarterback twice this year. Rainy game yesterday. 47% I don't think is going to hold personally. And do you guys agree?
Jason Moore
No, I agree, honestly. You know, when it comes to four through six of the bottom, Green Bay, the San Francisco 49ers and the Miami Dolphins, those are injury teams that you expect to get better. Tua being gone, Christian McCaffrey being gone and love being gone. I think all three, you would expect to have brighter days ahead from a touchdown scoring perspective.
Andy Holloway
Do we. Do we get. Is it really Christmas this week? Is Christmas McCaffrey coming back for us?
Jason Moore
I think Christmas McCaffrey is back. The question is just when you stay out of this Grinch, when you open the package, is it something you want or is it another injury?
Mike Wright
That's. Any trees up over there in Deuces Alley?
Jason Moore
Not yet.
Andy Holloway
For me, no.
Mike Wright
Okay.
Jason Moore
My family pushed really hard to put it up this weekend. Oh, so you put the smackdown on team Josh Falcon.
Andy Holloway
Andy.
Jason Moore
Andy.
Mike Wright
No tree till December. All right, Barry, listen, listen. It's not that it's not fun. It's just that what makes it fun. This is such a waste of my breath. What makes it fun is everybody else is doing it. That's what makes it a fun tradition, is you've got Christmas everywhere, not just at Lowe's. You know what I mean? Right?
Jason Moore
I know.
Mike Wright
It's like, I know you. You buy into big marketing. So the second you walk into Lowe's, you see the trees up, you're like, I gotta do what Lowe's says.
Jason Moore
You think I go into home improvement stores, man? Stores.
Mike Wright
All right. Hey, that was ready to roll. Jason Moore
News and notes from around the league, presented by USAA Insurance.
Mike Wright
The Saints have fired abysmal, maligned head coach Dennis Allen.
Jason Moore
Congratulations to all of my friends who are Saints fans. Your future, your future should be brighter. You're going to have a top quarterback next year and you are a good franchise. Like if I was a head coach on the open market and I'm looking at franchises I want to go to that is a very functionally well run organization for a long period of time. So I think there's bright days ahead, just not this season.
Andy Holloway
How?
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean the cap situation is a problem.
Mike Wright
The cap's a problem. And I mean the functionality of the, of the team making the decision to keep this head coach is perhaps in question.
Jason Moore
I think that the, I mean this was my argument on the bold prediction show of the fact that Dennis Allen was gifted this position by Sean Payton. It was kind of, I don't think this was the organization really saying this is the best route. It was just kind of like the guy who led us fooled us, if you will.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, it's very odd that it felt like a pretty unanimous thing that like outsiders, you know, football fans are like, this guy shouldn't be the coach. You know, it's have him be a defensive coordinator somewhere, that's fine. But he should not be the head coach. All of us seem to know this and even it's just so strange to me that these coaches get in these positions and we all know it's a bad idea and it's going to fail and it's going to set you back. So I think the Saints are a couple years away.
Mike Wright
Keon Coleman will have tests done on his wrist today. We need to stay tuned for that. Dropped the touchdown. That turned into an interception in that game. They ended up winning it anyway. The Raiders fired Luke Getzy, their offensive coordinator. They fired their quarterbacks coach and their offensive line coach as the team takes the next step towards firing their head coach.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, that is true. I think Pierce is.
Mike Wright
It's not long and they don't have the personnel either. I mean Drake London left early with a hip pointer and an oblique strain.
Jason Moore
The early stuff that I saw on this was optimistic. So hopefully it's not a big deal. But I don't think we have a ton of details yet.
Mike Wright
We talked about Olave. He's in the concussion protocol. Fifth documented concussion since college, fourth in the NFL and second because he had one in Week 6, which was not long ago. Darius Slayton in concussion protocol. AJ Brown left early with a knee injury, but as of this morning, Jordan Schultz reporting it's avoided. He's avoided a serious one.
Andy Holloway
That would be excellent news because that looked like a multi week.
Mike Wright
Dak Prescott left early with a hand and ham injury, hand string also, you know, they weren't competitive. And CD Lamb sprained his AC joint. He'll have an MRI On Monday, I put almost nothing into Jerry Jones saying he'll be fine.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he said he'll be fine because he went back out there for a bit. That doesn't mean anything long term.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, he will be fine. Sure.
Mike Wright
I do think he'll play through it if it's not showing up on the MRI as anything catastrophic, but that could be something that knocks you out. If you land basically, that AC joint, if you land on it in the game, you could be in trouble.
Jason Moore
He was in trouble.
Mike Wright
We've seen this with Tyree Kill before the whole game.
Jason Moore
I mean, we were. Mike, you pointed this out super early in the game, was like, oh, CDs hurting. And then he's playing and he's hurt. And you kept screaming at the TV like, why are you leaving him in there? Like, don't do this to cd. He's going to die. And then they ended up constantly throwing him the ball because he CD Lamb. And then he got injured and he.
Andy Holloway
Got a real big one trying to catch a touchdown.
Jason Moore
Yeah. And landed right on it. Couldn't come back.
Mike Wright
No, he did come back for a two point conversion.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Fair.
Andy Holloway
He did.
Mike Wright
Crazy thing. Eric all junior rookie tight end for the Bengals, unfortunately tore his acl.
Jason Moore
I missed.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Yeah. I mean, not that I want to diminish the injury in any way, shape and form, but obviously his performance, his involvement, and he had a bunch of weeks with four catches. His absence is going to mean that the Gasicki week that happened could be stickier because Sticky Gazicki.
Jason Moore
Sticky Gasicki. Whoa. I mean, honestly, you look at those hands reaching out.
Mike Wright
He made it, man.
Andy Holloway
You dropped it. Did you drop this?
Mike Wright
Sticky. Get sticky, baby.
Jason Moore
All right.
Mike Wright
I think it's true.
Jason Moore
Welcome to the nickname.
Mike Wright
It also works with his hands.
Jason Moore
It does because he's got great hands.
Mike Wright
Got sticky hands.
Jason Moore
They don't call him Sticky Kosicki for no reason, Andy.
Mike Wright
I mean, it's going back to high school. Caleb Williams tweaked his ankle. Probably going to be okay. That was today's news notes presented by USA Insurance. Learn more at USA.com insurance We'll take a break. We'll get into the studs.

Andy Holloway
What's going on?
Mike Wright
And I think I, I think what he's doing is he's adding Sticky Gasicky to the nickname.
Jason Moore
Oh, it's added Dashboard.
Mike Wright
Yeah. I knew it. Like our website shows the nicknames. And he wasn't going to let that one no fly by.
Jason Moore
Sticky Gocicki. That's his. I mean, that's just what people call him.
Mike Wright
Just Mike's eyes when he knew so quickly. So. But he.
Andy Holloway
What I'm here for.
Mike Wright
It might be. It might be a thing.
Andy Holloway
We'll see.
Mike Wright
Jermaine Burton.
Andy Holloway
Oh, my goodness gracious.
Mike Wright
Jermaine Burton was supposed to have a game plan built around him. No. T. Higgins shows up in pajama pants, skips his Saturday walk through, doesn't play in the game.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. If you did not hear the drama that unfolded rapidly, T. Higgins was going to be out. We've had, we were discussing like, what is, what do the Bengals do here at wide receiver? T. Higgins is so necessary here. Like, I was casting some shade on just. I don't think Yoshi Voss is that guy for them. Could it be Jermaine Burton? Apparently the Bengals were doing something of like, okay, let's get the rookie involved who. Sorry, rewind just a little bit. Jermaine Burton, electric football player. He fell in the draft specifically because of character concerns. Like, we just, we're not sure that this guy has the drive, the mental makeup to make it in the NFL, which is just like it happens. Unbelievably grueling business for you to be in. This opportunity shows up for him. Apparently they had a huge game plan where Burton is going to be involved. He's going to be featured. He skips the walkthrough. No show, no Saturday, doesn't call in. That reportedly doesn't call in, shows up to the game in pajama pants and then he's a healthy scratch. And it was so frustrating for that to be right there for him. And I mean, someone's got to.
Jason Moore
This is.
Andy Holloway
We got to get a mentor for this kid.
Jason Moore
He.
Andy Holloway
It's all there. But on the path.
Jason Moore
This is.
Andy Holloway
This will. He will wash out of the league so fast.
Jason Moore
This is also a team in a situation that is not going to wait for him. They are right. They need to win. They need to win now. And they're not just here to baby this draft pick to hopefully get more out of him. I mean, they want more out of him, but they are, you know, it's just like having him be a healthy scratch. It's like, we don't have time for. We don't have time for this.
Mike Wright
Yeah, we've got to go win game. They could have dealt with it. They could have said, okay, whatever, we don't care. You're right. And this week specifically could be the difference between them taking a first day wide receiver.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
I mean, T. Higgins is moving on and Jermaine Burton could have been the guy. So disappointing. Yeah. Let's get into the studs.
Jason Moore
This week's fantasy stud muffins.
Mike Wright
None of the guys I played.
Jason Moore
None of the guys I played, I'll tell you that.
Mike Wright
Jason and I in. What's the opposite of a barn burner?
Jason Moore
Fartfest that's what we call it. Yeah. I don't know. The opposite of a barn. Is what?
Mike Wright
The opposite of a barn? Yeah, it's a well.
Jason Moore
Oh, yeah. No, that's good. Cause you raise a barn and you dig a well.
Andy Holloway
Is it the structure that you need? The opposite, or is that.
Mike Wright
And a well's water and a barn burner and it's on fire.
Jason Moore
Oh, so we had a well water.
Andy Holloway
I was going to go like a barn builder.
Jason Moore
As opposed to the burn.
Mike Wright
Oh, because the burn.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, that's what I said. Is the opposite need to be the building or the action that's happening.
Mike Wright
Whatever it is, we're not going to score 100 points, either of our teams.
Jason Moore
If it was barn burner and barn builder, though, then the good one should be the builder. Then we.
Andy Holloway
I don't know that you've ever seen a barn burn down. That's a good time.
Jason Moore
Anyways. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Collectively not fun.
Jason Moore
Not a good time. I've never participated in either of those, Mike. Yeah. Andy and I, team and league of record, we faced off against each other. I made.
Mike Wright
Did we. Is that what we did?
Jason Moore
Trades to, you know, leverage my future, to have big, strong assets like Jonathan Taylor.
Andy Holloway
We covered your trade when you were out of office, allegedly at a school event, making trades.
Jason Moore
But look, I mean, you always got the show. You always got to be working. But. Yeah, I mean, Andy, your entire roster scored one touchdown.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
And mine.
Mike Wright
And that includes my quarterback.
Jason Moore
Yeah. My entire roster, including my quarterback, scored one touchdown.
Andy Holloway
That's the worst. The worst.
Mike Wright
Yeah. I mean, we. This is stud. So let's focus on the good players. Jalen Hurst, Joe Burrow, Daniel Jones, Lamar Jackson, Geno Smith. Your top performers at quarterback.
Jason Moore
Geno Smith.
Mike Wright
Burrow was the start of the week. You'll notice the absence of any Colts quarterbacks here. That. That game went south last night, but Hertz has been on fire. I think he has 12 touchdowns, no interceptions in the last three games.
Andy Holloway
It's been very good.
Jason Moore
I don't know how great he will be if he has to miss AJ Brown for any amount of time, but TBD on that injury.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Every time Brown is out, the numbers have been poor, but this has been a great run. Saquon's moving the offense. Joe Burrow could have had six touchdowns. He had five. They played Baltimore this week. That's always fun. Oh, man, those games are great.
Jason Moore
That will be a lot of fun. Joe Burrow's on Pace for 38 passing touchdowns.
Mike Wright
I. Look, I'm at the point now in the season where it's like, I want to find that guy, that Dak player from last year that's lined up to dominate. And unfortunately for Burrow, like, I don't like the playoff schedule. You got to go on the road to Tennessee, then you got to play Cleveland, Denver.
Jason Moore
No, you need the phasers if you're looking for the second half. Dak.
Mike Wright
Is that Kirk?
Jason Moore
That is Kirk. Cousins has a phenomenal schedule down the stretch.
Mike Wright
Playoff weeks now needs Drake London back. Obviously, yes.
Jason Moore
I mean, the weapons are important, but he's been playing good ball. And I know, you know, he didn't have a lot of fantasy points a couple of weeks ago when they dominated, but that was because of the rushing touchdowns. But he has been really good. I mean, three touchdowns this week, four touchdowns last week. He can get it done down the.
Mike Wright
Stretch next Wednesday and he was on waiver wire before this week in our league. Next Wednesday we'll do a playoff primer and get you ready with the best schedules for every position. So we won't focus on that today. We'll let another week get under our belt and then we'll go ahead and dive in. But big performances, you know, nice to see Josh Allen, who's the quarterback five on the year, overcome the digs, departure and, you know, no Amari Cooper this week. Pretty impervious to the personnel at times. And then, you know, Darnold performed well last night as well. So some good performances at quarterback. None of them played for Jason or I. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Darnold gets the Jaguars next week.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Oh, that's very nice.
Mike Wright
Running back leaders this week. Hello, Saquon.
Jason Moore
He was so awesome. And if you haven't seen, which I don't know how you haven't seen because it's everywhere, but he backward hurdled the guy.
Mike Wright
It was so cool.
Jason Moore
It was incredible.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
I mean, they're going to kill the man. I feel like he had 75 rushing attempts. Every play was just give it to Saquon and watch him be a stud. But he has been a stud.
Mike Wright
Barkley number one on the week. Jason's my guy. Devon Achan number two on the week, eight catches. Derek Henry, Alvin Camara, who will be worked to death the rest of the year. And then Chase Brown. Chase Brown getting it done for the. He got a receiving touchdown for the Bengals.
Jason Moore
He's been really good since he started getting more work. I mean, you can go back all the way to week four. You look at his fantasy points scored and he's only got one week since week four. Where he's not double digit fantasy production in half PPR scoring. So with Moss being injured, he had 100% of the running back rush attempts. And this is, this is a player I think you can somewhat rely on. Although Baltimore this week, tough matchup for running backs. I do want to go back to my dude Devon Achan just to make sure people know how insane. Just to make sure you two know how insane his performances have been. And the four starts with Tua. Here's his pace. Okay. He is on pace through those four games for 229 carries and 1190 rushing yards.
Andy Holloway
Very solid.
Jason Moore
He is also on pace for 119 receptions, not targets 119 receptions. With over a thousand receiving yards and 13 receiving touchdowns. He is averaging 24.3 fantasy points per game and half PPR scoring. It's crazy in full PPR scoring because he's, I mean like I said, 119 reception pace. That's, that's, that's what you want from your wide receiver ones.
Mike Wright
That's what you want from Jalen Waddle. And that's why Waddle doesn't exist right now is because of the incredible involvement in the passing game of both Devon Achan first and then even the involvement of Johnny Smith in this year's offense. Waddle has disappeared. You locked into a touchdown with him.
Jason Moore
And then you unlocked into negative yards on a what, what are the place called?
Andy Holloway
The hook and ladder.
Jason Moore
Hook and ladder.
Mike Wright
Yeah. I mean you want to waddle away from him right now. This is not target share wise. It's tyree kills number one with tua and a chan is number two over 20%. So Jason, you, you, you went after him. You told people to buy low before the two are returned. We are all just praying to a stays upright the rest of the year.
Jason Moore
And hn, I mean he carries his own itty bitty baby boy risks.
Mike Wright
Mike did not get pushed off of Chuba Hubbard and it paid off. 15 for 72 and two for Chuba Hubbard. Ramondre two more touchdowns.
Andy Holloway
But that's it. That's it for Chuba everybody.
Mike Wright
Oh, it's over because Jonathan Brooks is coming back.
Jason Moore
I thought you were saying that's it for Ramon Dre when he said Ramon Dre had two touchdowns. Because you're not wrong.
Andy Holloway
That's also true.
Jason Moore
Ramontre had two touchdowns, got all the work. I mean he's, he's just, he's been. The utilization has been crazy with him. He's getting all the work for no yards.
Mike Wright
He has four of his games inside the top 10 at the position. Four of them.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Over the last two weeks he has 30.
Andy Holloway
We can go here. I'll give you this.
Jason Moore
30 rushing attempts for 64 yards over.
Andy Holloway
The last three weeks. He is running for 2.2 a carry.
Mike Wright
Yeah, but he is their guy around the red zone and they have nobody else. And he did catch five passes in this game. Rico Dowdle, 12 for 75, 5 for 32 and one had a juggling catch that got everybody in the studio all excited.
Andy Holloway
It was. It was very funny. It seems like first Dak. Rico was wide open immediately on the play. For whatever reason, Dak did not unload it. Scrambled around a little bit, made the. Made the play difficult. Then the pass was still easy. Rico drops it and turns it into one of the circus catches.
Mike Wright
It's one of the first catches. They actually credit him with three receptions on the play.
Andy Holloway
The question for Rico next week is Philadelphia. That kind of stinks. But Zeke was. Zeke was a healthy scratch because of. He was being disciplined as well of. I think he's not very happy with his role on the team right now. Showing up late to meetings and things. That's what's being reported. But like as of right Now, Rico has two games of 50 or more, 50 or more percent of the snaps for the Cowboys and in both of those games he's an RB one. I don't know what this. I don't know if they're going to make a move at running back.
Mike Wright
No, I don't think. I don't think so.
Andy Holloway
It seems stupid for them to buy, but they've also been doing a lot of stupid stuff this year.
Mike Wright
Wide receiver perform. Did you want to comment on Dowdle?
Jason Moore
I think Dowdle will be an okay start almost rest of season. And for you know, I've been as out on Dowdle as. You know, I've doubted him the whole season. But it does appear that. It does appear that he is going to get the opportunity, especially with what happened with Zeke. Now like you said, the Cowboys have done crazy things all year. So they'll bring Zeke back and make him the starter and no one will be shocked. But also, Bijan had a great game. I want to point this out though. On Bijan. I saw JJ Zacharieson, he pointed this out and I just. It's fascinating about the running back rush attempts on Bijon this year and how it's gone back and forth week after week. Have you guys seen this?
Andy Holloway
No.
Jason Moore
So the running back rush attempts, the share of running back rushes that go to Bijon Week one, 86%. Week two is down to 61%. Week three, up to 70%. Week four, down to 47%. Week five, up to 67%. Week six, down to 45%. Week seven, up to 68%. Week eight, down to 52%. Week nine, up to 76%. I mean, but it's like it's exactly ever. Is this like a game plan where it's like to keep him fresh every other week they're going to like let him unleash and then every other week kind of timeshare. It. It's just so weird that it's exactly every other week for this long. This is over months.
Mike Wright
Algier did get into the end zone again in this one.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Yeah, he did.
Mike Wright
Top five scores at wide receiver. JSN with 33 1/2 points. Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson, DeMarcus Robinson, Quentin Johnston. In fact, the NFL fantasy account pointed out the fact that all four first round whiteouts from 2023 scored this week in Jason, Quentin Johnson, Zay Flowers and Addison. That is the first time they have all scored a touchdown in the same week. Flowers had two, JSN had two, Garrett had two, and Quentin Johnston four for 118 and one.
Jason Moore
And they were all pretty awesome. Like, they all played very well. I don't even know who I want to talk the highest of, but I'm between Quentin Johnson and Zay Flowers was unbelievable out there. He was just, he was making a fool of defenders, getting open like crazy and doing, you know, whatever he wanted going forward. It's tough in that offense because there's just so many different ways they can score.
Mike Wright
What is your thought process on JSN specifically moving forward? Because they go into the bye week, DK Metcalf has missed time. They are sitting at the bottom of the division. There have been rumors about DK Metcalf's being traded. I don't know if that'll happen. Obviously the odds are against that happening. But I do think it's possible. There have been rumors with the Steelers, the Broncos, who are competitive, and some other teams that have more space. Seahawks have to decide whether they are like in right Now, Cardinals at 5 and 4, the rest of the teams at 4 and 4. So is Jason a player you can go get or is this performance take him off the table?
Jason Moore
I believe that. Well, you could definitely go get him because I think people are aware there was no DK Metcalf in this game. And so that's obviously going to elevate his target market. Share his opportunities. And if you watch the end of the game, this was like a must throw the ball. The clock is running out, we're down, back and forth, fair with the Rams. So I think this was situational. He is obviously very talented, he's capable of doing this. But this is not normal or prescriptive of the future unless the trade for DK Metcalf happened. So if you're out there and you really believe Metcalf is going to be traded, you've got about a 24 hour window to capitalize on it and get JSM. But you're not going to have him this week with the buy. I personally don't think Metcalf is traded, so I'm not, I'm not hot and bothered by JSN here. In fact, I think the player who's maybe the most prescriptive of this four pack, as gross as it sounds, might be Quentin Johnston. Quentin Johnston.
Andy Holloway
Oh, he's on waiver wires.
Jason Moore
That's what I'm saying. He's available to get and he was looking good before the injury, which we kind of discounted because you just don't have enough.
Andy Holloway
Well, you discount it because those first four weeks or whatever it was, they were so high tee and it was.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it was touched down, only it wasn't yardage. This is a hundred yard game for.
Andy Holloway
Him like the last month. The team is opening things up for Justin Herbert. You know it's. I liked lad McConkie in this past week. I didn't realize that huge was going to come out and put up 4.
Mike Wright
For 118, first hundred yard game of his career.
Andy Holloway
So I do, I think Quinn Johnson is going to be a very, he'll be the priority ad, but I think it's worth it of like if, if this is really what this team is figuring out, that they have a great quarterback and they should throw the ball more. Then you get him more volume and things will happen.
Mike Wright
Well in Dobbins, we didn't talk about it in the running backs but he scored twice. This is a balanced offense that dominated start to finish. Herbert is so effective especially in play action. And Quentin Johnson closing in on the total fantasy points he scored last year through only six games played. Devonte Adams, big night on Thursday night. Darnell Mooney continues to dominate and if Drake London misses anytime. Mooney is a must start type of player.
Jason Moore
He's the wide receiver 12 on the season. That's. That's crazy. I mean he has been an important piece to a very good offense.
Mike Wright
Devonte Smith was doing nothing then. He was doing everything. Yeah, four for 87 and a touchdown.
Jason Moore
We were late in the game and I complaining because I've got the Jalen Hertz devontae Smith stack and I'm, I'm like, he's got. He's one for nine. He missed practice the whole week for personal reasons and we're like, is he just not a part of the game? Okay, there he is.
Andy Holloway
Well, A.J. brown got knocked out and then. And then Devonte had that huge touchdown catch.
Mike Wright
I'm seeing news that head coach Antonio Pierce, by the way, Raiders head coach has not decided on a new OC or quarterback.
Jason Moore
So maybe they'll be the same guy.
Mike Wright
So that's an empty offense.
Andy Holloway
We gonna. Dude, you can't start Desmond Ritter.
Jason Moore
That's been proven. That's just science.
Andy Holloway
I'm not. Oh man, they're in a bad situation.
Mike Wright
Justin Jefferson 7 for 137. Cedric Tillman 11 Target 775 yards and a touchdown going into the bye week.
Jason Moore
Boss touchdown. I mean that touchdown was not called a touchdown on the field because it seemed impossible. And then you look at the replay.
Andy Holloway
And you're like also very stinky garbage.
Jason Moore
Yeah, but I mean I just care about the capabilities. Yeah, the capabilities of the wide receiver because I mean this is a day two draft pick last year who just vanished from the NFL and now is.
Mike Wright
There are no legit better quarterbacks for garbage time than Jameis Winston.
Andy Holloway
That is probably true.
Mike Wright
And for the first time in the history of this program, I want to talk positively about Cortland Sutton. Ten targets, seven for 122 through a touchdown pass. That pass funnel that Baltimore's got going on continues. Sutton has had two straight weeks suddenly.
Jason Moore
18 and 6 and he also 21.
Mike Wright
Targets in that span.
Jason Moore
He was also. He's the clear number one for this team. I know he had a goose a couple of weeks back, but over the course of the season, I mean he is so dominantly the wide receiver one for this franchise as Bo Nicks gets better and better and he was just missed on a touchdown this week. So he could have had even bigger.
Mike Wright
Game on pace for 130 targets this year. We'll take a break, we'll hit the tight ends and then we'll talk about them stinkers.
Andy Holloway

Jason Moore
Trey McBride had him. He still has no receiving touchdowns, but he did get another touchdown. He had a rushing touchdown this week.
Mike Wright
Oh, it saved his day too. 3 for 35 through the year.
Jason Moore
Have you tweeted out that play? You got to.
Mike Wright
Well, Ian Hard. I was going to cut it myself and Ian Harditz had already posted it, so I'll just retweet it.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean it's, it's. We were watching it live and it mattered because Tyler shrieking at the tv. Kyler was Andy's league of record quarterback. And there's a play where they sell out as a run with only one player on the goal line. They stay, they're clearly running the ball and they leak one player, just one player to the back of the end zone on a play action. So the play is only designed to go to one guy.
Mike Wright
And it was Trey McBride which made it so confusing.
Jason Moore
And he was. When we say wide open. I mean you got to watch his play. The defense didn't know he existed.
Mike Wright
You know how they print the letters in the end zone of the team name?
Jason Moore
Right.
Mike Wright
There was the full letters gap plus a little more.
Jason Moore
He could read the whole Cardinals.
Mike Wright
Yeah, he was on the top of the word and everyone else was on.
Jason Moore
The bottom of the word and Kyler just didn't throw the ball.
Mike Wright
Is he a partial blindness?
Andy Holloway
It seemed like he looked Right at it.
Mike Wright
This year, no player has been screenshotted missing wide open players more than Kyler Murray.
Jason Moore
I don't know if it is. I don't know if it's that he can't see over the line. Like, you know, the whole, like, oh, he's shorty. Maybe he can't see him. But even if you couldn't see, that's.
Mike Wright
The play you call.
Jason Moore
You literally could have done this blindfolded. You could have closed your eyes, fake the hand off, turn around and throw it to a spot anywhere over to my right, and it would have been a touchdown. He didn't throw the ball, but they did make up for it by giving him a rushing touchdown a drive later.
Mike Wright
I mean, so McBride, Harrison, Kyler. Okay, all three of them disastrous fantasy days.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Mike Wright
Okay. I guess McBride, not McBride was 3 for 35 with a touchdown.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Mike Wright
I mean, so not disastrous, but to your expectations. Four targets. My point is that the Cardinals won 29 to 9. Their defense gave them no points in the second half. So it's just weird when, like, I saw the Cod Kyler criticisms coming out again. They won 29 to 9. They're leading the NFC West. It was a fantasy production thing.
Andy Holloway
It's that the team is like. They're finding the identity of the team and it's James Conner.
Mike Wright
Well, look, when you're winning like that and your defense is playing like that, I don't think Kyler did a thing wrong outside of that one play in the game because there's nothing you should have had to do. That was different. You ran for 150 on the ground. He only attempted eight passes in the second half.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, because it was just.
Mike Wright
He didn't have to run. And. But it should tell you something about what. What can happen here. I have lost three times this year because of Kyler Murray. Where I've played him. I didn't play him last week against Miami. Has a huge game.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. So he's won. He's won a like four weeks here over 20 points for Kyler. That's. That will really, really help your team win. But the other times are just.
Jason Moore
Yeah, you should just push the button because we're already into it. Pooped in his big boy pants. Kyler Murray.
Mike Wright
Yeah. Kyler also got credited with a fumble. That was so not his fault.
Jason Moore
No. Oh, my gosh. The running back goes to to take the hand off and his hands are closed before the ball.
Andy Holloway
You open the monster dude, and then you chomp down on the ball. Your son go back to Peewee.
Mike Wright
I was going to say your son plays football. Do they tell you to keep your arms closed when they hand the football?
Andy Holloway
You don't reach for the ball with your hands. You open, open the monster, make the target. The quarterback shoves it right in your tummy.
Mike Wright
But Kyler's finished as the quarterback. 1, 7, 6 and 10. Those are his good weeks.
Jason Moore
Those are great.
Mike Wright
But this week he scored in half point four point scoring. He scored 4.8 fantasy points. That might be his all time historical low in a game.
Jason Moore
I would imagine it is.
Mike Wright
I think it is.
Jason Moore
If you take out in a win any game that he got injured, he really didn't play well. That or did not play poorly. He played pretty well in this game. They didn't need him. The sucky thing though going forward is that you can see situations where they're not utilizing the running. They don't need to, they don't need to. And it's not a, it's not a guarantee that it's going to happen every game. And that's always been the baseline for fantasy of those type of fantasy assets, those true dual threat quarterbacks where it's like, hey, even if he doesn't throw a touchdown this game, he, you know, he might have 50 rushing yards and that's fine. You just don't see a lot of games. Kyler Murray had six rushing yards this week. He has a week earlier this year with 14 rushing yards and a week earlier with three rushing yards. That's just, that's not a, that's not a dual threat quarterback.
Mike Wright
And Marvin Harrison can't catch a competitive pass.
Jason Moore
Yeah, well, some weeks he caught them all last week.
Mike Wright
Jordan Love, also a. Just a terrible performance. 273 no touchdowns, threw a pick. Yes, it was raining, but he was hurting.
Jason Moore
He was hurting. It's really tough. I want to throw this in the garbage. I really do. Because that wasn't just raining. That was like a swamp. I mean it was awful. However, Jared Goff could complete passes. He threw the ball down the field and hit receivers in stride.
Mike Wright
He was in the yardage, was good for Love.
Jason Moore
He wasn't in a dissimilar game. He was in identical. He was on the same field. So I think some of it's got to be the injury, some of it's got to be the weather. But the packers were, they had the crap beat out of them, man.
Andy Holloway
Overall game plan, because, yeah, Goff threw the ball 22 times for 145 yards. That's 6.6 yards per attempt. Like, that's not, that's not challenging the defense at all. That's just taking little dinks and dunks because Monty and Gibbs were so effective.
Mike Wright
So Love, maybe, maybe you can throw it away, but they go into the buy, you can get healthy. Then they play Chicago, San Francisco. Love is right on the edge of that. I definitely want for the rest of the season quarterback. For me, I don't know it definitively.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I get it.
Mike Wright
But he's on the edge of that. But that's where Kyler lives. Kyler lives on the edge of that. There's a lot of quarterbacks right on the edge of like, do I trade this player or do I just ride it out?
Jason Moore
It's really tough with Love because they're going into their bye week. Then they've got Chicago, which is who Kyler just played, who is. They're not great against the run. They are awesome against quarterbacks, wide receivers, their past defense is great. Then they've got San Francisco. So it's like, it's a tough, it's a tough like three week stretch. If you're going to go buy Jordan Love, I don't think you're going to want to rely on him to be that dude starting now. I mean, obviously not starting now on a bye week.
Mike Wright
Jonathan Taylor heads up our duds at the running back position. 13 for 48 on the ground, just three for 11 through the air.
Andy Holloway
Five targets.
Mike Wright
Jason, this was not a good start to the. I hope Jonathan Taylor's the running back one rest of season.
Jason Moore
Yeah, that's kind of like the bet I was trying to make. I was really hoping to trade for a superstar that could essentially get five targets in the, in the passing game. He looked so. He's looked great every time we've seen him on the field this year. Until I trade for him. However, Minnesota's run defense is elite. Very difficult to run against them and they proved it.
Andy Holloway
Buffalo, I think he'll be better next week.
Mike Wright
Buffalo, New York, the next. Detroit. New England.
Jason Moore
So the next three of the next four weeks are plus matchups for running backs. Buffalo, you can run on them. The jets, you can run on them. New England, you can run on them. Detroit, not so much.
Mike Wright
What happens if Flacco keeps losing? Oh, man, I don't think this one was a very fair fight, so to speak. I mean, it was tough. Tough environment, tough to go in there with the blitz packages that Brian Flores throws your way in Minnesota and get it done. But he clearly didn't get it done.
Jason Moore
Yeah, it's like a yes and no situation on. I don't, I don't think when you are the age and the experience that Joe Flacco is that you're allowed to be like, ah, they had some tough. That's the point. That's why we went to Flacco, so that you can handle those things. And he straight up did not handle those things.
Mike Wright
He looked, he threw a really nasty pick on the sideline. Josh Downs had a dud of a game because of it.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he also, he had several times where he just should have uncorked the ball, was hesitant and then got sacked.
Mike Wright
So hugely disappointing. I don't know why he wasn't in the duds, but Joe Flacco was a huge dud. I made the decision last minute in fear of Flacco and the blitz packages to throw the illustrious Kyler Murray into a lineup to score an extra two points.
Jason Moore
Oh, so it was the right decision.
Mike Wright
Oh, yeah. Six to four.
Jason Moore
Congratulations.
Andy Holloway
Process and results.
Mike Wright
Oh, baby. Yeah, I'm getting it done.
Andy Holloway
What do you do with the Jags running backs?
Mike Wright
Yeah, ETN and Bigsby. Philadelphia, I've been saying this for a few weeks. Their defense is very good. Go look at it. Their numbers when we break it down on the matchup shows are very, very elite across the board. So ETN struggled, Tank, Bigsby, Stank Bigsby. ETN caught two passes. They both stink. And they're going to stink in matchups like this because this offense is toasted.
Andy Holloway
So the next two weeks is that what.
Mike Wright
Who are the matches?
Andy Holloway
Minnesota and Detroit.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I don't think I want to. The rule on ETN and I heard you reinforce it on Sunday live. It was show me it on the field before you're going to be in my lineup.
Jason Moore
Well, he's not going to be in your lineup thing because he didn't show it on the field.
Andy Holloway
Also, the split 31%.
Jason Moore
Yeah. He had three rushing attempts.
Mike Wright
I mean, Dearness got work.
Jason Moore
You can't start a player.
Andy Holloway
Not only did Dearness get work, Andy, I don't know if you caught this. The final attempt here for the huge comeback that the Jags were mounting.
Jason Moore
Most important play of the game was.
Andy Holloway
A fade type route to Dearness Johnson.
Jason Moore
A fade route is a tough one to pull off, but if you got, if you got a superstar wide receiver, okay, maybe you're. Maybe your running back won. That's probably not good. You're running back three.
Mike Wright
Let me try this out. Yeah, like, hey, hey, hey, grandkids, grandkids. Doug Peterson's Grandkids. I was a head coach once upon a time and I had a. I had a chance to stay being a head coach, but I lost because I threw a fade to Dearnes Johnson.
Andy Holloway
Yep.
Mike Wright
Nick chubb, little chubb, 15 for 39 didn't work out. Jerome Ford returned.
Jason Moore
The 15 carries, though, are. Notice I watched him, though, and he's just.
Mike Wright
He's just not there yet.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I agree. He's not there yet. They're going into their buy, but he.
Andy Holloway
Had 16 last week. Yeah, he's getting the work. It's just.
Jason Moore
He is becoming their lead guy. It's just a matter of whether you believe he's going to return to form at any point this season or not.
Andy Holloway
The positive that you can give for Nick Shub right now is it's a bye week, get another rehab, try and get a little bit stronger. And then you are against the New Orleans Saints, who everybody's been able to run on that.
Jason Moore
Yeah, the Saints are a great matchup. He should be good there. But the stretch run after that, Pittsburgh's tough. Denver's tough.
Andy Holloway
I didn't go into that. I just said the good news.
Jason Moore
Pittsburgh's tough, Kansas City's tough. That's. That's.
Mike Wright
I mean, Rico Dowdle or Chubb rest of season. I would take Dowdle.
Jason Moore
I would as well.
Mike Wright
Chubb's not going to catch passes. Jerome Ford is healthy. And the team needs game scripts that are conducive to what Chubb does best. And I'm worried about them. Alexander Madison was not a good 9 for 36. Lost the goal line carry to Zemir.
Jason Moore
White and he was on the back of the Abdullah Express. They were down.
Mike Wright
He still exists.
Jason Moore
They were down in this game. Remember, we had posters made for the.
Andy Holloway
Abdul was very excited for Amir Abdullah. It didn't work out.
Jason Moore
There it is. There's the Abdullah Express. Looks just like that little wooden toy train. Yeah. He was actually very involved as they were down. So that. That's a tough thing to see because you would hope that Alexander Madison would be more of the past catching back, but he was. He was not. It was Abdullah.
Mike Wright
Well, Puka at wide receiver. 1 for 11 in a punch out.
Andy Holloway
What are you doing, Puka?
Jason Moore
He's keeping his knee healthy. It's really dumb. I don't understand why any player punches a helmet ever.
Andy Holloway
Why would you ever punch a guy in the helmet?
Jason Moore
It also was.
Mike Wright
It's like getting out of a car in a road rage scenario and punching the truck. Right?
Jason Moore
Like with your fist. Yeah. Punch the window. Oh, so you, you don't hurt the person you hurt. Your hand. It was also.
Mike Wright
You thought that call was soft, Al?
Jason Moore
Yes. It's a weak suspension.
Mike Wright
It looked like a pretty small. Like it was so close to a shove.
Jason Moore
It was like a shove to the helmet more than anything. If his hand was with a closed fist, yes. It wasn't.
Mike Wright
It was soft. It wasn't like a cut, you know.
Jason Moore
It wasn't a wine. It was like the guy pushes him. He just kind of. He just kind of barely.
Mike Wright
I think it was a little soft.
Jason Moore
It was soft. It was weak. But regardless, you ended up with no puka in the game. Not for injury reasons, but for ejection reasons.
Mike Wright
And they won anyways.
Jason Moore
They did.
Mike Wright
DeMarcus Robinson was great.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I mean, competitive catch, back to back games with double touchdowns, right?
Mike Wright
Yep. But don't play him because that's the only way you can ruin it. Marvin Harrison, 2 for 34 and a fumble. Five duds, four good games. Do we need to have the conversation about Marvin Harrison being more of a pivotal play in bad matchups where you see the game scripts going sideways? He has to play the jets and that secondary next week, then goes into the bye week.
Andy Holloway
I don't know. I wouldn't be putting in like spot start waiver fodder over him.
Mike Wright
Let me read this though. Six week span, okay. Wide receiver, 26, 58, 113, 61, 13.
Andy Holloway
He got hurt. That was 14% of snaps. Just saying. If you get knocked out at the very beginning of the game, I'm not going to hold that against you.
Mike Wright
It's just that the lows for Harrison are 62, 58 and 74. I throw that game out. You've been happy once in six weeks.
Andy Holloway
Yep.
Mike Wright
That's all I'm saying. And right now he feels like one of those players that people will start until their season is over. And I'm not sure that there aren't some other names out there that you might, on a certain week want to get into your lineup. I mean, nobody started JSN over Marvin Harrison this week, but that was a decision you could have made against the Rams. And that's all I'm saying is maybe you should think about it.
Jason Moore
And I will say that you need to be looking at the matchups a little bit because if you look, you know, he was good against the Rams when they were beat up. Detroit is a team that you could throw on, not run on. He was good. Washington's defense, you know, they've gotten okay, but they're not a world beater when he plays San Francisco's great defense. Green Bay's great defense. The Chargers have been a good defense. Chicago's a great. I just brought that up. A great pass defense. Those are the duds. Duds. Duds. So this week against the jets and Sauce Gardener, I'm not sure he's ready.
Mike Wright
If the Cardinals could hand it off. We know this. If they could hand it off every play, they would. That's the new offense for them.
Jason Moore
And how do you beat the Jets?
Mike Wright
You run the football.
Jason Moore
So this is not a Marvin week. I would, I would look for if you've got other good options.
Mike Wright
I mean the question is going to come up. It's going to be because of the week. Quinton Johnson or Marvin Harrison. That will come up.
Jason Moore
Who does Huge boy this week?
Mike Wright
Unless they're in the buy. They're not on the buy, right?
Jason Moore
No, they've already had their buy. They play Tennessee, the Titans, who are number one against wide receivers.
Mike Wright
So that won't come up. No, that won't come up. Jalen Waddle, two for negative four and a touchdown. Irrelevant. Jalen Waddle was the number one player that I saw comments about this weekend across the board. Yes, I know. We got into the end zone, it was a two yard catch. That's not enough. Not involved in the offense.
Jason Moore
Do we know what he was a seven yard.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, we got two up as complete to Waddle for 12 and then the touchdown was a seven yarder.
Jason Moore
Okay.
Andy Holloway
Then he lost 23 yards on the scramble.
Jason Moore
His actual line, which still is bad is 2 for 19 with a touchdown. And he disappeared for the vast majority of the game because the 23 negative yards.
Mike Wright
And he got hurt and came back.
Jason Moore
Oh, he pulled. Yeah, he did.
Andy Holloway
He waddled.
Jason Moore
I can't believe this guy does it every game. It's a joke. That is not a joke at all. We're watching and I felt bad on this one.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Because it looked like the way I.
Mike Wright
Thought he got like a broken leg.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I thought he broke his leg. He had to have broken his leg with how he was acting on the field. And then it was like two plays later he's back out there.
Mike Wright
It's like that's not least the 10th time that's happened at least, at least 10 times.
Jason Moore
I mean that's got to be significantly low because he's played. He's had to have played 30 or.
Mike Wright
40 games in his career and at least half he's gone out injured and came back.
Jason Moore
I think it's a I don't want to. I'm gonna. I'm gonna whisper it because I just feel bad about it.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Jason Moore
I think it's pain tolerance.
Andy Holloway
Calling him soft.
Jason Moore
I'm. I don't know what to say. I mean, it's hard to play in the NFL. I'm not saying I wouldn't.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Have you ever been like slide kick cleated?
Jason Moore
Yes, I have. When we played flag football. It sucks. Get up. You play the next play. I'm sorry. Not by a 380 pound monster experience from flag. We've all been there from adult.
Andy Holloway
Well, I don't remember you rolling Peoria, Arizona.
Mike Wright
I don't remember you rolling around grabbing your leg, that's for sure. Michael Pittman was not a thing. 1 for 14.
Andy Holloway
The Colts offense was just buy low.
Mike Wright
On Brian Thomas Jr. Him coming off the injury playing Philadelphia. Sure got the past funnels of Minnesota and Detroit coming up. Yeah, that's one I would look at. I love that Keon Coleman should have scored, but just one for 21 despite no amari Cooper and now a wrist injury. That's disappointing. D.J. moore. Mike, you said it. You said you wouldn't mess around with it. It looks bad.
Jason Moore
Nine targets, brother.
Andy Holloway
I.
Mike Wright
That's.
Andy Holloway
They are the Bears wide receivers is the craziest situation of all these. Plus matchups. Good players and no production. And sometimes the team scores points and I don't know where they go.
Mike Wright
Hey, guys, we're back in the doldrums. Tight end Sam Laporta 2 for 28. Najoku 5 for 29. Mark Andrews 2 for 26. Hawkinson 3 for 27, Pitts 1 for 11, Kincaid 4 for 32, Comet 0 for 0 and Zach Hertz 1 for 5. That is almost all those players were started this week.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean, that's who you started. Which is why Trey McBride had a.
Mike Wright
Awesome, egregiously good week.
Jason Moore
He dominated your competition because it crossed. Sticky Gocky, baby sticky. Go seeky.
Mike Wright
I mean literally go Sicki was other than Gasicki McBride, they were like the only two that were recommended that performed. I mean, you got Kelsey tonight and you got Otten tonight. So that top five should change because both those guys very capable of entering the top five with the very low Josh Oliver bar set.
Jason Moore
I would assume that Otten will be in the top five.
Mike Wright
I think Kelsey will too.
Andy Holloway
We whispered about Taysom Hill especially. I feel like he came up on Sunday live maybe. But it was with Jamal being out and Kendrick Miller being on ir. It was like, oh, Taysum Hill this is probably where he scores.
Mike Wright
