Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers podcast coming to you from Draft.com Studios with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright.
Andy Holloway
Oh, welcome in.
Jason Moore
I play the guitar with the drums.
Mike Wright
Mike.
Andy Holloway
Jason was playing along with the intro.
Mike Wright
You look like one of those toy monkeys that plays the drums.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
Excellent form.
Andy Holloway
Did you ever. Did you have any music in your past, Jason? Was there ever a time in which you aspired to be as musically inclined as Mike the fancy hitman?
Jason Moore
Oh, honestly, I really wanted to play the drums when it was. What, what is it like third, fourth grade?
Mike Wright
I can tell by that form.
Jason Moore
You go to the band meeting and you pick your instrument and you drop your name in a hat and you get that instrument if they've got one or whatever. And so I went there to get the drums.
Mike Wright
Wait, what kind of a crappy system is that?
Andy Holloway
Is that how they did it?
Mike Wright
So, like kids that want to be musicians, it's just the luck of the draw what you get to play.
Jason Moore
They only have so many instruments. So if five people want to play the drums and they only have two drum sets to play out. Okay, but here's. Here's what happened.
Mike Wright
That was the Hunger Games for music. You're the saxophone player, but I want to play the trumpet.
Jason Moore
Too bad. Here's what happened. This is super quick because obviously football, this is important. No, but what happened is I went to put my name in the drums and at the last second, I wanted to make my dad proud. He played the trombone. He was a great trombone player, so I hear.
Andy Holloway
I mean, is that a trombonist?
Jason Moore
Traumatist.
Andy Holloway
Trump.
Jason Moore
It's gotta be a traumast.
Andy Holloway
Just a shorthand bonus.
Jason Moore
And so I. So I put my name in the trombone.
Mike Wright
We called them trombies.
Andy Holloway
Trombies.
Jason Moore
Shockingly, I was the only name I got.
Andy Holloway
You got the trombone?
Jason Moore
And I played that thing for a solid four days. And then I was like, this sucks.
Mike Wright
The only allure of the trombone is you can go, yeah.
Andy Holloway
You could illustrate fantasy football weeks with different sounds.
Jason Moore
That is true.
Andy Holloway
You could Be Joy Bell. Welcome to the fantasy footballers podcast. Not the intro I expected, but one I enjoyed very much. Andy, Mike and Jason back again. It's Wednesday, and we've got a bunch of great stuff on today's podcast. We got a new segment called what would you do? So we're gonna. We're gonna talk through some of the top 30 picks or so in the NFL or in the fantasy draft drafts that took place and what do you do with them now we've got drop pump the brakes on today's show. Apparently, I don't even know what's going on the show. And we got a bunch of mailbag with foot clan questions. A little reminder, it is Wednesday. Your waiver wires have gone through and you want to make sure you check.
Jason Moore
Drop it like.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. You want to drop it like it's high. You want to check on who's been dropped because there are a lot of.
Mike Wright
Bye weeks again, especially the bye week players who. There's certain teams that they got to win now. They had to make a very unfortunate decision. Guys like Vance McDonald, Aaron Jones.
Andy Holloway
I bet you Aaron Jones hits waiver wires because of the bye week.
Mike Wright
It's very possible. So go have a little peek, Ski.
Andy Holloway
Hopefully Aaron Jones is not just a little booby trap for your roster.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I was gonna say. I'm not sure I would.
Andy Holloway
I saw you drop Jamal Williams.
Jason Moore
I did drop Jamal Williams.
Andy Holloway
So, yeah, pay attention. Vance is a good name. Last day for Footclang giveaway.com to win a signed Corey Davis jersey and a championship belt. Jason Moore
Oh, oh, oh. O'Reilly. O'Reilly.
Andy Holloway
It's Pump the Brakes with O'Reilly. We're pumping the brakes.
Mike Wright
That was the best one ever, guys.
Jason Moore
Thank you.
Andy Holloway
I think it was.
Mike Wright
Good work, team.
Andy Holloway
We were very simultaneous in the beginning. Oh.
Jason Moore
It felt.
Mike Wright
While you were away, you. When you had morphed into advocation, did you hear.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Mike Wright
The producer.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Jason Moore
Brooks.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. He got in on it.
Jason Moore
He sure did.
Mike Wright
Not only did he get in on it, he demanded.
Jason Moore
Oh.
Mike Wright
Before we started the show, he said. He said, guys, shut up. It's my time to shine.
Jason Moore
I'm in.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, that sounds like me.
Jason Moore
Yep.
Andy Holloway
Can we make him do all the parts by himself next time?
Jason Moore
100%.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Pump the brakes. Here we go. My pump the brakes for the upcoming week is. I'm gonna. It's a two parter. It's Dak and Cole. Oh, so it is. Dak Prescott and great jazz player Cole Beasley. Look, they're traveling to Washington. We talked about it a little bit on Monday. Studs and duds. Dak had a great week. Cole Beasley had a great week. This was the first quarterback one performance from Dak since week 14 of the 2017 season. He's been a QB1 twice in his last 14 games. That's the headline. And then the opponent, Washington divisional game on the road. They've only allowed 236 passing yards per game. Honestly, when I hear that Dax, like, man, if I could get there, if I could get to 236. But look, last week it was a lot of. It was about the legs. 81 rushing yards. Washington's given up the ninth fewest in the league in terms of passing yards. So I think it's a trap. I understand you're in a position to stream various guys. So look, if you're stuck doing it, at least you might have a rushing floor there. But I don't like Dak and Cole. I'm not. I have no bids in on either of these players. I think you know a lot of people reacting to Cole Beasley, Tyrell Williams this week. Look, we have enough of a sample size from Cole Beasley to know that more often than not you get a less than performance.
Mike Wright
He does this.
Andy Holloway
He does do this.
Mike Wright
He's good enough to have huge games here and there at least a couple of seasons now.
Andy Holloway
Jason had pants written in here until moments ago. Now, why were you pumping the brakes on pants?
Jason Moore
Yeah, they're uncomfortable. They are unnecessary.
Mike Wright
You need to upgrade your pants game. Man. I love pants.
Andy Holloway
They're necessary to those around you.
Jason Moore
Agree to disagree. No. My pump the brakes.
Mike Wright
The unders are fine.
Jason Moore
My pump the brakes this week is on a. A man that I have loved for a long time. But it's Eric Ebron, the number one tight end in fantasy. I believe he's actually number two on the season so far. Six touchdowns in six games has been an absolute dominant beast. So why am I pumping the brakes on a guy that I really like who's been finally the guy that we hoped he was when he was drafted number 10 overall?
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Mike Wright
How mad are the Lions right now?
Jason Moore
They didn't use him in the same way. And honestly, here's part of the pump. The Colts won't use him in this way, the Colts have to use him because no Ty Hilton, no Jack Doyle. Those are your first two targets for Andrew Luck, and they're both gone. There's a buzzer.
Mike Wright
What's going on over there?
Andy Holloway
Huge buzzer.
Jason Moore
For what?
Andy Holloway
I'll let Jason speak.
Jason Moore
So my pump the brakes is not one that is saying, oh, you've got to bench Eric Ebron this week. He plays Buffalo. Buffalo's defense has been very solid lately, but, you know, it's not like you have to bench them because of Buffalo. I think they've given up one reception for six yards in the last two weeks to the tight end position, but they haven't faced any juggernauts there. It's much more. So I want to capitalize on what Ebron is doing. I want to shop Ebron. If I have him on my roster, now's the time to package trade him. People are in desperate need of tight ends. It's by weeks you can get valuable things back for Eric Ebron, and if you can do that and pick up off of waivers Austin Hooper or C.J. uzama or someone like that, I wouldn't be shocked if they outscore Ebron this week. I mean, if you really look at what Ebron has done, despite, you know, the great fantasy finishes, he's had plenty of games, or 3 for 26, 5 for 33, 5 for 40. He's getting bailed out with a touchdown. And when those players come back, Doyle. I don't. I don't think Doyle's back necessarily, you know, this week or even next week, but I think that they're going to get their past receiving weapons back, and that will eat into Eric Ebron. So I'm pumping the brakes on Ebron as this top five tight end rest season. I don't believe that happens.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I'll just weigh in and just say that I disagree completely and think he's great. And I don't think Doyle is a surefire, you know, come back and be the number two target by any stretch of the imagination. They paid Ebron. They brought him in. He scored six touchdowns. Andrew Luck throws three to four a game. They're coming back all the time, and he's being used like a whiteout. So I just disagree.
Jason Moore
So you would buy him then? I mean, but this is my point.
Andy Holloway
No, my point is that I'm not buying him. I'm just not. I'm not trading him, and I'm not. And I don't believe that Uzama or Hooper are like, if I'M getting this kind of production from Ebron. I would just keep him.
Jason Moore
But your desire to keep him is what I'm saying will allow you to get valuable. I mean, people. If people believe, if someone's like, yeah, this guy is going to be the guy, he's going to be a top five tight end rest of season, they will pay up for that.
Andy Holloway
I think we're saying different things.
Jason Moore
We are saying different things because when.
Andy Holloway
I hear pump the brakes, I hear pump the brakes on his production, I don't think his production is going to change very much. Therefore, I don't pump the brakes on him. You're saying that you do believe it's going to change, so go trade him.
Jason Moore
I believe it's going to change, and I believe that his value is so incredibly high right now at a position where you can easily replace it.
Andy Holloway
So Mike's pumped the brakes is Trey Burton. I think the value of Trey Burton is higher than Eric Ebron. I don't think it. I don't. I think it's hard for people.
Mike Wright
Value, like, as in trade value, probably. No, no.
Andy Holloway
Due to hype.
Mike Wright
No.
Andy Holloway
I mean, Trey Burton scored three touchdowns. He's still a tight end. One.
Mike Wright
I mean, I would. If I had. If you had them both, I would imagine you're going to get far more for Eric Ebron.
Jason Moore
That's how I would assume.
Mike Wright
I would see it. But Jason, Jason came in here last after I had already organized an entire argument of pumping the brakes on Trey Burton and then just copied everything. I was going to talk about Trey Burton right now. There's a difference.
Andy Holloway
There is.
Mike Wright
Trey Burton is fantasy fool's gold at this moment. To me, in the past two weeks, Mitch Trubisky has thrown nine touchdowns and 670 yards over the course of the season. Trey Burton is averaging. Averaging three receptions for 40 yards. That's. That's completely replaceable tight end value. He's just been bailed out with a couple touchdowns here and there. And in my. My argument for Trey Burton is exactly what Jason's arguing for Eric Ebron. I think that Trey Burton still has name value. He has value because he's still a top 12 guy right now. And I would try to ship him off and grab one of those guys off of waivers, like USAMA. So, Jason, O.J. howard, thanks for ruining everything for me.
Jason Moore
I honestly, I didn't even know who your pump was, so I apologize for nothing.
Andy Holloway
Look, the big difference between those guys to me and why I believe in Ebron is Ebron has 52 targets on the year. Trey Burton has 23 targets. Yes. Even though there was the bye weekend there, I looked at it and it's 8.6 a game for Ebron. That's wide out numbers. Yeah, 4.6 for Burton. That's not good.
Mike Wright
I would much rather have Ebron than.
Jason Moore
Burton, so that, I mean, I would as well.
Andy Holloway
Ebron is the third highest targeted tight end in the league, more than Jimmy Graham, more than Cook, more than Kittle, more than Hooper, more than Gronk, whereas Burton's in his. In the 20s for targets.
Jason Moore
But I just don't. I honestly can't wrap my head around how you think that Ty Hilton and Jack Doyle having not been on the field, is not the reason that Eric Ebron is averaging eight targets a game. He's not going to. No, he's not going to be an 8 target.
Andy Holloway
But not. Not sustaining 8 targets or almost 9 targets a game is not the only thing that matters here. It's red zone dependency and usage. When you have six touchdowns from the tight end position, it's not a mirage to me. It's not accidental. Hilton was there in the beginning of the year when he scored touchdowns. So to me it's a matter of. Look, what do you want from a tight end? You've made that argument about Kyle Rudolph for years. It's like, oh my gosh, if you can get a touchdown from your tight end, you're. You're in the money. I don't think you can get enough from Ebron to justify the trade. When a guy's number three in targets number two on the season, it's just a matter of opinion. It's pure speculative opinion. I can't believe I'm sitting here talking about Eric Ebron in that way, but they put him on it. He's on a new teams too. So it's not like you guys pee.
Mike Wright
In the same fountain.
Andy Holloway
If he was doing this in Detroit, it would be more mirage, like, like they lost three or four weapons in Detroit. He's never done it there for a long time, but it's a new. It's a new team. He's earned the trust of six touchdowns. Tells me he's earned Andrew Lux trust.
Jason Moore
Sure. News and notes from around the league.
Andy Holloway
All right, this was the monster news yesterday, which will cause me to speak more into this microphone. Devonta Freeman, running back for the Falcons. We found out after the show he's on injured reserve, guys. He's going to undergo groin surgery on Thursday. He will not return this season. Technically, he could return in week 16. You know, if they're in playoff contention, maybe that happens. But the story now is we need to dissect and talk about Tevin Coleman and Ido Smith. It changes the entire equation for me on Ido Smith, the fact that Devonta Freeman's gone because instead of Ido Smith being maybe a one week placeholder, touchdown dependent guy, you start to look at it from a new perspective where if Devonta Freeman's gone, Ido Smith is their fourth round rookie and Tevin Coleman is likely to fly the coop. All of a sudden it's what do we have in Ido Smith?
Mike Wright
Right.
Andy Holloway
And in the last two games where Tevin Coleman and Ito Smith were the only backs, it was a 57:45 split. So I'm much more interested in Edo Smith, obviously with the knowledge that he's not going to be replaced in a week by Devonta Freeman. Now this comes, you know, comes a little late for the waiver wire.
Mike Wright
Yeah, it's unfortunate, the timing of it because Ido Smith skyrocketed to my number one claim. We were talking about Jermaine Curse was the top guy to add. But if you can add a running back who's going to get snaps and get touches, he's the most valuable. Because those guys don't always pop up on a high powered offense. They're utilizing him in the red zone. As we talked about, I'm very, very intrigued for adding Ito Smith.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I mean, I went back and I watched every snap on the season for Edo Smith. He had a couple good runs, especially near the end zone. He has a nose for that. I went back and watched some college film too to familiarize myself and my takeaway was his opportunity is everything you want. I don't think he is anything special. He never looked like he was breaking tackles. You know, he was able to be taken down a little bit easier. But he is very fluid at catching the ball. It was very productive as a receiving back in college. Yeah, I just wanted to.
Mike Wright
49 receptions, 43 receptions, 40 receptions. Those are his final three years at college.
Jason Moore
At college. Those numbers are absurd.
Mike Wright
Those are unbelievable reception numbers.
Jason Moore
So he can catch the ball. The opportunity is there. He has enough talent to be valuable for fantasy. But he is no Devonta Freeman. He's not. He doesn't have the power and the. And the balance to be that. You know, he's not going to come in and just take over that role completely. But very valuable. He'd be my number one.
Mike Wright
He could. That's the thing though. Is he'll take over, take the Freeman.
Jason Moore
Role, the role he could but he won't succeed at it. Is my point the same way Because.
Mike Wright
Devonta Freeman was looked really, really bad in his entire rookie season.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. And Edo Smith was an investment by this team in the draft. If you listen to Dan Quinn talk about him, he is gushing about his pass protection and the opportunity that he has. And because Coleman is going to be leaving, I do think there's a world where ETO Smith is seeing. I think he's going to win weeks in total touches based on game script. And so take that for what you will. I don't disagree with Jason. He's 3.2 on the season on 32 carries. So he's not running for chunk yardage. Maybe some of that's red zone. I agree with Jason's take on him not looking special. But Coleman hasn't looked special this season either. And if this team starts going downhill, why are they giving. Why would they give Coleman play if over the second half of the season they're not in contention and Coleman's leaving that. So I think they'd be investing more. So let's flip it the other side. What is Tevin Coleman rest of season? Because I think Tevin Coleman owners are all dancing in the streets.
Mike Wright
Yeah, Tevin Coleman is a, he's a running back too. This is, this was the special thing involved in Tevin Coleman's draft price at in the sixth round or so you're drafted. You drafted a running back that had standalone value and then if something were to happen in front of him, he gets a huge boost. I think Edo Smith is unfortunate for what you thought you were going to get in Tevin Coleman. It seemed like coming into the year if Devonta Freeman went down, Tevin Coleman's an automatic running back one. I don't think that's the case. I think he's more of a mid range running back too.
Andy Holloway
All right. All right. So do you. You're not pumping the brakes on Tevin Coleman at all.
Mike Wright
Oh, not at all.
Andy Holloway
3.7 a carry this year versus 4.2 career average.
Mike Wright
Yeah, but opportunity will be there on a very high scoring offense. I'd be stoked if I had it.
Andy Holloway
I forgot to mention it earlier, but the pump the brakes was brought to you by O'Reilly Auto Parts. Better parts, better prices every day. Other quick news. Giorgio to Vecchio taking over at the kicking position for the Falcon.
Mike Wright
Giorgio.
Andy Holloway
Giorgio. I guess I didn't even say it right. Greg Zurline.
Jason Moore
Oh, he's back.
Andy Holloway
He's back for the Rams.
Jason Moore
Eat a steak.
Mike Wright
My team is very happy.
Andy Holloway
This was big news, too. Jon Gruden concern with Marshawn Lynch's groin strain could be a long term injury. I want to be very, very clear. I'm not going to even look in Doug Martin's direction. I'm not. I'm not even going to see. Like it's one of those things. Full Medusa. Like, I'm not. If I happen to glance in his direction, I'm turned to stone. I'm not doing it. Jalen Richard is the guy to own. He, you know, this is a team that stinks. Their defense stinks. Richard's going to be on the field enough to make you go. I'm kind of okay with the starting.
Jason Moore
I can squeeze them into my flex here and there. And Doug Martin will get out there and he'll have 18 carries for 16 yards.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, no, he will have one. They're not going to use him.
Mike Wright
I disagree.
Jason Moore
The point is, whether they use him or not, he's going to be worthless.
Andy Holloway
Yes.
Mike Wright
I won't make the argument against that, but I do believe if Marshawn lynch is to miss time, then I think Doug Martin's in line to see 10 plus touches a game even with him.
Andy Holloway
Getting none last week with lynch off the field.
Mike Wright
Yeah, well, I mean, Rashad is the PPR guy.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Six receptions, seven receptions the last two weeks on by. This week comes out of the buy though, with Indianapolis, San Francisco, there's probably value there. You're going to have to sift through. And like I said, don't touch. Don't touch Krampus.
Jason Moore
It's gross.
Mike Wright
And I have a personal stance against not adding Doug Martin, but we would be remiss. He's. If you're in a deeper league, I do think that he's worth a speculative ad on your bench.
Andy Holloway
I'll bet you my house.
Jason Moore
This is. I love this. I love this. Right now, I so far, right now on this show, I have been anti Ebron while Andy has fought for Ebron. Andy has been anti Doug Martin while you fought for Doug Martin.
Mike Wright
No, no, no, no.
Jason Moore
What is happening? Don' who we are.
Andy Holloway
Mike loves Doug Martin.
Mike Wright
To quote my friend Jason Moore. Don't hear what I'm not saying.
Andy Holloway
Don't hear what I'm not saying.
Mike Wright
It's terrible. I don't want him on my team.
Andy Holloway
Don't. Just take a stance and don't. Don't stand up for him.
Mike Wright
I can't not stand up for A running back who might see 12 to 15 carries.
Jason Moore
Mike loves Krampus.
Andy Holloway
Dude, Marshawn lynch wasn't isn't even getting 12 to 15 carries the last 18.
Mike Wright
19, 20 in the beginning of the year.
Andy Holloway
You're reading his numbers. How about the last three weeks?
Mike Wright
29, 13.
Andy Holloway
9, 13.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Thanks, Mike.
Mike Wright
No, I understand the past two weeks that it's, it's been, he's been game scripted out. I just saying I think he's going to touch the ball.
Andy Holloway
Okay. All right.
Jason Moore
Mike loves Krampus.
Andy Holloway
Mike loves Doug Martin.
Jason Moore
No.
Andy Holloway
All right, let's take a break here. We're going to get into what would you do? I want to thank Pristine Auction for sponsoring this podcast and also I want to thank him for something else. The Menlo Club is tailored for you. What would you do?
Andy Holloway
All right. I thought this would be a very educational segment for our listeners because I'm going to put, I'm asking you to, I'm asking myself what would I do in the situation that I own one of these guys and these are players that they were drafted in the top 40 to be something. Therefore they are big names, right? And if you are an owner of one of these players, what are you doing? What are you doing right now? What do you expect? What course of action do you take? And I think I want to pose the question directly to one of you guys and then move the next player to the next guy. So I'll just start with. I'm not putting the first one on Jason because he is an owner. So I want him to get some advice here.
Jason Moore
I need it.
Andy Holloway
Mike, what would you do if you own David Johnson? Right now his average draft position was number three overall. He is the RB12 in point per game. And the reality for David Johnson is that he's kind of having a Todd Gurley like year from two years ago when he was with Jeff Fisher. You drafted Gurley that year in the top three. You ended up with a RB 12 to 15 on a weekly basis. David Johnson has Denver tomorrow, San Francisco and then the bi week. What are you doing with David Johnson?
Mike Wright
So this is the really important thing about David Johnson. The past two weeks he is, he has received 18 carries and both of those weeks he's rushed for 55 yards.
Andy Holloway
I wasn't even ready.
Mike Wright
You're leaning back in your. Oh, that's not actually what's important. But he's getting. That's more of a 55 after the first two week debacle where they were not giving him the ball. I should say first three week he is getting a lot of carries on the ground. He's seeing targets. His numbers are certainly inflated by scoring four touchdowns, five touchdowns in the past four weeks. I would just hold on to him right now if you, if you weathered the storm and didn't sell him when everything looked like it was absolutely terrible. If things look slightly less terrible now and he gets to play Denver, we're going to preview that game, San Francisco and then after the bye week, the Kansas City Chiefs. So I think it's very possible that in the next three weeks that David Johnson gives you perfectly acceptable fantasy numbers. They're not what you drafted him to be. But I'm going to just hold them for now. I'm not trading them.
Andy Holloway
Jason, you were retweeting the marvel that is the Arizona offense.
Jason Moore
It's unfathomable. I mean, it's truly. It's really, honestly something that I couldn't even wrap my head around. It seems impossible someone had done the research and found that the Arizona Cardinals are 28th in total rushing attempts, you know, near, near dead last in the league. They're just not enough plays to have good rushing numbers. But they are first in the league in Russia's. Straight up the middle. Just, hey, let's just give it to this guy and go right ahead of the rookie center and see if we'll see what we can get. I want a yard. I want maybe two.
Mike Wright
We joked about this to each other frequently of, oh, they're going to give it to David Johnson, run up the middle.
Jason Moore
And it was always right.
Mike Wright
I didn't realize it was that atrocious.
Andy Holloway
It's embarrassing.
Mike Wright
It is.
Jason Moore
Hashtag fire Mike McCoy again. Yeah, he was fired in season last year.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, that's why we wanted him. He had extra prep time. Ridiculous. All right, Jason, what do you do right now with the enigma that is Odell Beckham?
Jason Moore
Oh, you changed, junior.
Andy Holloway
I did change it on you. Look, Beckham was drafted 12 overall as the wide receiver 3. Right now he's wide receiver 19 in points per game. Has Atlanta, Washington in a bye week coming up. The story for Beckon this year has been, you know, you're not getting what you hoped because his average depth of target is so atrocious and gross and hard to look at fourth most targets, though, in the league. For most receptions in the league. What are you doing with Odell Beckham Jr.
Jason Moore
Here's what.
Andy Holloway
I'm not asking for a friend.
Jason Moore
I'm not selling Odell Beckham Jr. I am. I'm holding Odell Beckham. I am 100% fine with. You know, look, we feel like this has been very, very, just an abysmal year so far for Odell Beckham Jr. He is currently on pace for 120 receptions and 1349 yards. And we're like, oh, he's so bad because he's had a couple of duds.
Andy Holloway
No touch. Really. No touchdowns.
Jason Moore
Yeah, right. He's on a pace for three touchdowns and that's not been Odell Beckham. The offense, it's a, It's a very similar situation to David Johnson. Right. That he's limited by his offense, by his quarterback right now. But when you are near the league lead in targets and you are a freak of a player. Right? We talked. There's two things that matter, talent and opportunity. Well, he's got the opportunity and he's got the talent. So you have to hold on to him. You have to play him more often than not. He's going to be serviceable. Every now and then he's going to give you a boom and every now and then he's going to give you a bust. And that's okay. He's not an outright bust the way that people are feeling about him. That's why for a couple of weeks I was saying trade for.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, do you trade for him ahead of this Atlanta matchup on Monday?
Jason Moore
I mean, look, if you need a week, I would be really surprised if the Atlanta Falcons defense can contain Odell Beckham and the Odell Beckham owners are willing to sell him right now. So it's worth a try. But you can't buy him as a top three wide receiver because we know with his limited offense he's not. But he is a wide receiver one. So if that's what you need and you can buy him for that value, then I'm fine with that.
Mike Wright
Odo Beckham, the argument we're having or this discussion we're having about Odo Beckham is generally the one we have about Julio Jones every single year. It's receptions are there, yardage is there. He's still supporting your fantasy team. But it's been unlike Odell where the touchdowns are simply not coming.
Jason Moore
That's.
Mike Wright
The touchdowns are everything to me. And I, but I, I don't know if those are going to start raining down. I think they think they will this week. He'll get at least one this week. But for, for the length of the season, it's got to adjust your expectations, which is he's a low end wide receiver one.
Andy Holloway
And that's really the overarching question I want answered here with these players is how are you adjusting expectations? Because there are two ways you can do it. You can say the player is underwhelming and will then meet expectations over the remainder of the season. Right. Like a hitter that is a great hitter and just starts with a couple slumpy months and then you get the best hitter in, in baseball for the next four months or what.
Mike Wright
Oh, baseball references.
Jason Moore
Unbelievable.
Andy Holloway
Or yeah, I apologize, Jason. I know that hurts you. Or they are something else. Or they are actually something else and need to be treated that way. And that's why I'm going to bring up Keenan Allen's name to you Mike, because Keenan Allen right now is the wide receiver 29 in points per game. He was drafted 17 overall as the wide receiver 6. And it's kind. It's just I would firmly put him in the disappointing category because. Because Philip Rivers is right now, he's an MVP candidate. He's in the top five and he's on pace for probably 40 touchdowns. Keenan has what, one, one touchdown?
Jason Moore
It's not been good.
Andy Holloway
So. And Jason, you own him?
Jason Moore
Yeah, yeah. Hey, I own David Johnson and Keenan Allen.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. Mike tells.
Jason Moore
Great. Oh, you know who else I own? Devonta Freeman. We talked about him too.
Andy Holloway
And none of us disagree with Kenan Allen's like ability and talent. But it's always been volume based and it's always been being Philip Rivers main man. So are you adjusting your expectations rest of season for Keenan Allen? Mike?
Mike Wright
This to me was my slight hesitance for Keenan Allen's draft value coming into the season because this is who Keenan Allen is. This is who he was last year. The end the first half of the season, he was just solid. He was fine for your fantasy team. Everyone remembers the second half of the year when he won leagues for people because he absolutely caught fire. He can do that. That's in the realm of outcomes for Keenan Allen is to just all of a sudden take over the offense and be a league winner.
Andy Holloway
Buying or selling?
Mike Wright
I, I'm still willing to buy him. So I'm not selling him if he's on my team because I know what he could do. It's. It seems very unlikely. I get it. It's always, it's always, it's always darkest right before the sun rises. So just hold on.
Jason Moore
Yeah. I mean, I look when we talked about Keenan and we tried to not have rose colored glasses, we would look at last year. The first half of last season, he was on pace for 80 receptions, 1,000 yards and two touchdowns.
Mike Wright
Those are.
Jason Moore
That's okay.
Mike Wright
That's a wide receiver too.
Jason Moore
We saw it, saw it the second half he was on pace for 124, 1600 yards and 10 touchdowns, which is the wide receiver one. Right. And we said it's probably going to be somewhere in between, right?
Mike Wright
Yes.
Jason Moore
Well, right now on the season he's on pace for 96, 1157 yards and three touchdowns. So I think the targets are there. The yardage is going to stay the same. But I do expect his touchdown volume to go up over the second half of the season.
Mike Wright
As do I.
Jason Moore
So I guess if you would have to. If he's not a Hold. If you have to say buy or sell, I would still be buying because unlike David Johnson and Odell Beckham, this is an offense that is clicking. This is an offense that just hasn't really needed him necessarily yet. Long bombs to Tyrell Williams, Melvin Gordon. Touchdowns of Melvin Gordon and stealing all the TDs. Oh, you remember that rookie season when Melvin Gordon had zero touchdowns.
Mike Wright
Yeah.
Jason Moore
Head coach Mike McCoy.
Mike Wright
The NFL is great, man. Just get a job once.
Andy Holloway
That's how it feels.
Mike Wright
And also when you get that job, make sure that your quarterback is destined for the hall of Fame because then you just ride it out for a 10 year career.
Andy Holloway
When you get that job, you go shake everybody's hand in the world. You become best friends with everybody. You send little flowers and cookies and candies to everybody in the NFL.
Jason Moore
That's a nice guy there. He won a Super bowl with Peyton Manning.
Mike Wright
Disgusting.
Andy Holloway
Then everybody thinks nicely of you and you can write it for about 30 years.
Mike Wright
Come on, NFL, you're better than this.
Andy Holloway
I think some of them are. I mean, some of them are. It was funny, I was thinking like just imagining Sean McVay as the head coach of the packers and oh, my goodness, the foresight and wherewithal. You'd have to have had to drop McCarthy, who's been pretty well renowned in.
Mike Wright
The past, and go of riding on Aaron Rodgers back.
Andy Holloway
Yes. Which is painful. Yes. But essentially. And then to have the foresight to bring in a McVeigh.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Or a Shanahan. Right. Somebody that's doing something.
Jason Moore
Could the Arizona Cardinals trade an entire draft class for Sean McVeigh?
Andy Holloway
I don't think they would do it, Jason. Oh, yes.
Jason Moore
Oh, you're.
Andy Holloway
I think waivers just went through. And Mike's.
Mike Wright
You outbid me by a freaking dollar.
Jason Moore
Yes. I did it. Perfect. And I bumped one three times during this show.
Mike Wright
$1.
Andy Holloway
Oh. Edo Smith just went for $40.
Mike Wright
My bid was $39 and stupid Jason got him for 40.
Andy Holloway
Really?
Jason Moore
Yeah. I started at 30. I went to 33, I went to 35, went to 40, messaged Brooks, my co owner. Should I bump him up to a Kittle? He's like, no, I think we're good.
Andy Holloway
A Kittle's a $44.
Jason Moore
$44 bid.
Mike Wright
And that is so upsetting.
Andy Holloway
All right, well, that's a lot more than I thought he was going to go for. I bid 15 bucks on him.
Jason Moore
Well, you only have $29.
Andy Holloway
This is true. I think people might find it interesting. Here's who were the highest spins? Edo Smith was a number One pickup. Taylor Gabriel actually went as the second highest. Jermaine Curse went as the third highest. He was kind of my favorite pickup. If you need a flex, start right away before Ido Smith's news with Devonta Freeman. Looks like Mike grabbed Raheem Mostert.
Mike Wright
Oh, I was the only one in on him.
Jason Moore
No, you were not. I had a $2 higher bid, but I had grabbed Ito, so I did not get him.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, I bid on him as well, but nothing. Then Frank Gore, he is everything. And if something else that you know of is infinite and all, he is Gore. And then it was defenses and stuff. So Christian Kirk, I picked him up. There you go. All right. What would you do, Mike or. And Jason with a freaking dollar, man. Yeah, that feels.
Jason Moore
Feels real good.
Mike Wright
Feels bad, man. Feels real bad.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. You had Mike.
Jason Moore
You must be pretty disappointed.
Mike Wright
You have no idea.
Andy Holloway
I like that listeners get the very tangible emotional insight here. Did you guys catch the giant Matthew Berry rant yesterday?
Jason Moore
Oh, I did. I mean, this is. I thought that was speaking to my season.
Andy Holloway
That was unbelievable. Unbelievable. He needed one point. One point from Morris, from Alfred Morris, and he's in a league where they give a point for first downs. So he actually got the point.
Mike Wright
But then it was holding call before.
Andy Holloway
The holding because he hadn't gained 10 yards. But he got the first down, so he would have won. And then he said it was the worst loss in 30 years. Yeah, that's rough fantasy football. All right. What. What would you do right now with Ty Hilton? Because I don't know if people know.
Mike Wright
What to do with Ty Hilton is a must buy.
Jason Moore
Absolutely. Must own, must keep mustache. Must by 100% because you can find it's hard to hold on to a Leonard Fournette sometimes because there's just not a. There's not a replacement. Sometimes you have to trade them if you're losing games. But you can grab a germane curse and get by for a week off of waivers or something like that. When Ty Hilton comes back with what's happening with the Colts defense and offense, Ty Hilton is just going to be dominant. He's going to take everything away from Eric Ebron.
Andy Holloway
Okay.
Mike Wright
The pass.
Andy Holloway
They're the same players. They physically.
Jason Moore
Yeah.
Andy Holloway
Skill wise.
Mike Wright
The past three weeks, Andrew Locke is averaging 33 completions, 376 passing yards and nearly four touchdowns. Ty Hilton.
Jason Moore
And they're losing.
Mike Wright
If you can get Ty Hilton right now, I would absolutely do it.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. All right. What about. How do you feel about Rob Gronkowski? Mike, you've been his biggest advocate right now, he's the tight end. Six, which is fine, but it's not why you spent up on Gronk. You spent up for the number one Mondo points. Now, this offense is very interesting because there are some that believe it's the best in the league. Now with Edelman back, Josh Gordon, if you listen to Belichick on the press conference yesterday with media, very optimistic about Josh Gordon's integration. It wasn't a passing comment. It was. Look, every week it's getting a little bit better with what we feel comfortable giving him doing with him. So there are a lot of mouths to feed. Hogan, three, four receptions a week. James White, Josh Gordon, Julian Edelman. Now, Gronk is still Gronk. But what do you. What are your thoughts here? What are some metrics people can lean on?
Mike Wright
I look, the way I feel about Gronk right now is I returned home and I found Rob Gronkowski in my house, but he was playing hockey and he has smashed my favorite vase.
Andy Holloway
Without question.
Mike Wright
I'm very disappointed in you, Rob Gronkowski, but you're still a giant, hulking man who plays the tight end position better than anybody in the NFL. So it's fine. I'll buy a new vods.
Jason Moore
He. The only worry I have is he hasn't looked like. I don't know. He hasn't looked.
Mike Wright
He got Mojo back, I believe on this.
Jason Moore
I know he had a couple long bombs this last week, but, like, if you watch him run and you watch Travis Kelsey run, Gronk, usually whenever he's out there, it looks just completely uncoverable. Just so much bigger, stronger, faster than everyone. And I don't know, he seems there was a little bit slower and lumbering.
Mike Wright
There was a play. I mean, he was running into double coverage a ton. There was a play where the Patriots were driving down. This was, I believe, the final drive to win the game. I can't remember the wide receiver who got the. The shot on the edge, but who goes just slightly out of frame. You see Rob Gronkowski take off from in line and two guys just level him. I mean, like, you're like, holy crap, Rob Gronkowski just not got knocked on his behind. But I think that the. The presence of Josh Gordon is what the Patriots offense has been missing. We thought Chris Hogan could get it done and be the field stretcher on his own and open things up so teams couldn't just double cover Rob Gronkowski the entire game. With Josh Gordon set to emerge, I think that completely helps. Rob Gronkowski, this isn't a too many mouths. This is a opening up opportunity to me.
Andy Holloway
If people want to know what has actually happened, it's been really red zone concerns. He only has one of the 28 New England red zone targets. You expect them to line him up on the outside.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
And him to have opportunities. Rich Rebar mentioned that his red zone targets are the same as James Devlin at this point in the season. And we're not talking one or two games, we're talking games without Edelman. We thought he would be a great red zone beneficiary in those games. You've seen New England run the ball more. He's only seen eight plus targets. He saw the eight plus targets in seven games last year. He has not seen them once this year. So there is. To me he's becoming a little more touchdown dependent because you're getting two, three catch games without touchdowns, which makes you.
Jason Moore
Go, yeah, I will say this about week three, I was talking about how I would still much rather have Gronk than Kelsey and Mike was like, I'm not sure about that. And so at this point, having watched enough film, not just the metrics and who's doing better, you know, those things change. But Kelsey looks to me to be the better tight end. Would you trade Gronk?
Mike Wright
Gronk straight up for Kelsey, straight across for Kelsey?
Jason Moore
Because I think a lot of leagues they would go, oh man, I know he's better, but he's Gronk. I would take that trade. Yeah.
Andy Holloway
I was saying you'd rather have Kelsey.
Mike Wright
Yeah, Kelsey's my number one tight end rest of season.
Andy Holloway
But then, so you've, I mean clearly that, that is an adjustment of.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
When we were talking about before where it was, Gronk was the far and away number one. We're spinning that high pick on. Now you're saying he's not going to be that guy.
Mike Wright
Rest well. Patrick Mahomes came in and, and set my draft plans on fire. Yeah. The difference.
Jason Moore
Who would you rather have? Andy? You have Gronk, Someone offers you Kelsey. What do you do?
Andy Holloway
I, I think I hold on to.
Jason Moore
Gronk and I lean the Kelsey side.
Andy Holloway
So then that's, then it's very, very close. And the reason I do is just because I think that these are both the. Probably the Rams, the Patriots, The Chiefs are 30 plus points a game and I, you know, so then the follow.
Mike Wright
Up question would be if you wouldn't trade Gronk for Kelsey, you certainly would not trade Gronk for Zach.
Jason Moore
Ertz.
Mike Wright
Jason, would you rather have Zach Ertz or Rob Gronkowski?
Jason Moore
I would still rather have Gronk there.
Mike Wright
I think that's how I feel about it, too. It's. Kelsey has just elevated himself. He has. He has. He has smashed the Gronk tear, spray painted over it and said Travis Kelsey.
Andy Holloway
Was here and then he got a penalty on that play. Couple more. Let's do these ones real quick before we get into the Thursday night preview, because that's part of today's show as well. Kenyon, Drake, what do you do? Let's make it easy. Let's make it a quick, easy.
Mike Wright
Another quote for my friend Jason More. This is a Baxter situation where I would punt him off of the park.
Andy Holloway
Well, you would because you want Doug Martin in place of him.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Mike Wright
Yes, clearly. No, that is not true at all.
Jason Moore
Stop it.
Mike Wright
Stop putting words in my mouth. I would.
Andy Holloway
I want that to be a thing.
Mike Wright
I would not rather have Doug Martin than Drake. I would not drop him. But if I can package him and get him the heck out of Dodge.
Andy Holloway
Then I would hope we have some painters out there and they can. They can put some Mike and Doug Martin on canvas together, maybe strolling through a park.
Mike Wright
As long as we are shirtless and hugging, then I'm okay with it.
Andy Holloway
No, sir. Sure. The muscle hamster himself, Derek Henry, 33rd overall, was where he was drafted. He's the RB 57. He is atrocious.
Mike Wright
I just tried to drop him, but I got outbid by a dollar.
Andy Holloway
I've had. It's funny, I have Edo Smith in the listener league. I had him a week ahead of time and which speaks more to how bad my team is. But I've been offered every one of these middling players for Edo Smith. I mean, Derek Henry pass sending them along. No, I don't have any interest. He's. He's one yard before contact, which is the second worst in the league right now. And that's more indicative of an O line that's struggling immensely, giving up 11 sacks last week. Deion Lewis is third worst in that metric and he used to be Mr. You know, gain a bunch of yards before contact. Derek Henry is the problem.
Jason Moore
And we spoke about this. I think it was on the footcast Mike last week for the patrons we were talking about. The problem with Corey Davis is the same problem with Taewon Taylor, which is the same problem with Dion Lewis, which is the same problem with Derek Henry.
Andy Holloway
Which is the same problem as Marcus Mariota.
Jason Moore
It is Marcus Mariota.
Andy Holloway
Yeah.
Jason Moore
That is the problem.
Andy Holloway
He's his own problem.
Jason Moore
Yeah, he's the Titans problem.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, he's not good.
Jason Moore
Thursday night breakdown.
Andy Holloway
It's going to be a game of football. The Broncos at 2 and 4 take on the 1 in 5 Cardinals on Thursday night. The Cardinals.
Mike Wright
I hope you like running backs.
Jason Moore
Cardinals hurt Mike McCoy revenge game. Oh, oh, he's gonna run so hard up the middle.
Andy Holloway
Right. Just try and stop us and my work though. The Broncos are 28th in the league against the run. The Cardinals are 31st against the run. They give up 27 and 32 points to the fantasy running backs per week, which is atrocious. And the Cardinals 1 1/2 point home underdogs in a 401 1/2 point over under game. I like, I like the Cardinals defense at home against a struggling case Keenum. I think that that's something you can play in this game.
Jason Moore
I think that the. The player that I'm most excited for this week that it's a bubble player. Right. It's not just. Oh yeah, well of course you start him every week is Royce Freeman.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I think Royce.
Jason Moore
This is a great. If you can't play Royce Freeman against the Arizona Cardinals, then you can't ever play Royce Freeman. I would be happy to play him. I've thought about making him my start of the week. I've looked at offering trade offers for him in leagues where I need a play this week from someone I can.
Andy Holloway
Get cheap because that's a really strong take. Yeah, because he had a very. He did not get a lot of carries last week and his.
Jason Moore
Lindsay didn't get a lot snap percentage. What happened last week was Denver was just completely manhandled by their opponent and they were down and so Devonta Booker was on the field but he let in snap percentage of those three running backs and if you look at by a butt hair. Well, regardless, he was still there.
Mike Wright
And then.
Jason Moore
And then, you know, Booker was on the field way too much. But does anybody here think the Cardinals are going to be up where the Broncos are going to be having to run their two minute offense for half of the game?
Mike Wright
No, I actually. I agree.
Jason Moore
Remember how bad Latavius Murray was? Unownable, unstartable. How bad the Vikings offensive line when it comes to rushing the ball was? How did he do against Arizona?
Mike Wright
Yeah, he had at least five explosive, explosive plays. I. I am with Jason. I think Royce Freeman's a fine play this week.
Andy Holloway
Would you play Lindsay?
Mike Wright
I would play Lindsey over him.
Andy Holloway
Well that and that, that's my. But why isn't Lindsay. The start of the week, if you.
Mike Wright
Would play Lindsay, because Lindsay's a every week starter in my opinion. I already like.
Andy Holloway
He is interesting.
Mike Wright
He's worked his way.
Jason Moore
I actually would play Freeman over Lindsay.
Mike Wright
Oh, wow.
Jason Moore
Could me.
Mike Wright
Royce or Philip? Lindsay has worked his way.
Jason Moore
I see his hand going there and I say, yes, sir.
Mike Wright
Waterbed Lindsey has become from an undrafted free agent into a. You don't even really have to talk about him because you start him every week.
Andy Holloway
Okay, well, good. Good. The Cardinals can't play defense. We know that, at least against the running back position. We talked about Christian Kirk. We talked about picking him up as a flyer. Can you play him at home in this game against Denver? I mean, they are. This is just not a high scoring affair.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Look, when you've got two teams that are both beatable on the ground and both teams have running backs that should be able to succeed in that role, let's just. Let's play out that possibility of the game script. That means this is a low scoring game. The clock is running. You know, the game ends a little bit quicker in real time, fewer points scored. So I like the running backs here. I like the defenses here for those reasons. But I'm not crazy about really any of the wide receivers.
Mike Wright
You got to play, man.
Jason Moore
Emmanuel Sanders. Yes. He's. He's earned a. He's just. You have to start him. He's the clear cut, number one target. You could play four other wide receivers in this game. You could play Christian Kirk or Larry at home. You could play Demarius Thomas, certainly. Or Cortland Sutton.
Mike Wright
Would you rather play demarius? Rankings will be out later today, but just on the spot, off the cuff. Would you rather play Demarius Thomas or Christian Kirk?
Jason Moore
Kirk, dt. I mean, that's close. Water bath. No. No, I am definitely not water betting that it's too late.
Mike Wright
He hit the button. That's a binding contract.
Andy Holloway
Jason, you've made a point of saying this game is an atrocious opportunity for fans on Thursday night.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Let's make it interesting.
Jason Moore
Yeah. Let's put some bets.
Andy Holloway
As many bets out there as possible.
Jason Moore
All right.
Andy Holloway
Josh Rosen versus Case Keenum.
Mike Wright
Who you got?
Jason Moore
I got Case. Water bet? Yes.
Andy Holloway
All right, here's the deal.
Mike Wright
Oh, man.
Andy Holloway
Jason made the point. There are four other players you could start. Just because we're water betting on it doesn't mean we want to start them. The difference making factor for any flex play is what does the game's outlook look like? This is a 40 point over under with struggling quarterbacks. That is normally the difference maker. That lets me put in a John Brown or a Corey Davis or somebody else in a different matchup over a demarious Thomas, Cortland Sutton, Christian Kirk.
Mike Wright
All right, so let me ask this question. The Broncos defense, they are currently ranked 22nd against fantasy tight ends. There is a tight end who in the past three weeks has had 52 or more yards twice. 52 yards last week, five for 69. But right in the middle of that was a giant uncooked goose egg, Ricky Seals Jones. Do you have any faith to play him at home against the a decent matchup?
Jason Moore
Faith? No. You have to have kahunas to play.
Mike Wright
You're going Indiana Jones stepping out and hoping that the bridge appears.
Andy Holloway
Yeah, no thanks.
Jason Moore
Yeah, and I'm afraid of heights, so I'm with Andy.
Andy Holloway
If that middle game maybe, you know, if that was a cooked goose egg, I might be willing. But it was uncooked.
Mike Wright
It was uncooked and rotten.
Andy Holloway
Let's answer some questions and not talk about this game anymore.
Jason Moore
Mailbag, mail bag.
Andy Holloway
All right, if you have a question, go to the website thefantasyfootballers.com to submit your question or dial our voicemail hotline 302464 TFFB. Let's go ahead and jump in here. First question from Xavier in Toronto.
Jason Moore
Bonjour.
Andy Holloway
Is Michael Thomas for Le'Veon Bell a good trade?
Mike Wright
No, I would rather, I'd rather Michael Thomas. I completely agree and I know I've been very pro of once levy on Bell comes back that he's going to be the most most of what he has been in the past. There were if you were following the news, there was some weird vague reporting coming out yesterday that a baseball reporter in Florida ran into Le'Veon Bell says he's for sure coming back. Ian Rapaport retweeted it saying this is kind of interesting. So it's, it's still a complete unknown when Le'Veon Bell is going to come back. But Michael Thomas is a monster. He's had a couple down weeks but he's, he's still a top five.
Jason Moore
If Left Bell comes back and takes over the left Bell role, then it will be a clear win to have Lev Bell over Michael Thomas. But the risk is gigantically high still for Lev Bell, the optometry passed his.
Mike Wright
Bye week as well.
Jason Moore
Exactly. The option that he doesn't come back at least during the bye week, the option that he comes back and splits or worse. And so yeah, I would rather Have a great player that you know is a great player.
Andy Holloway
All right, let's jump into a voicemail question. Hey, ballers, how's it going?
Mike Wright
Jack in Virginia here.
Andy Holloway
Hey, I have a question for you. If you're out to a big lead this year in your seasonal leagues, maybe you're five or six and zero, five and one or something like that, what's something that you can do as an owner to keep yourself from getting complacent? How can you stay hungry, stay ahead of the curve and keep those wins coming. Thanks. Love the show. Bye. Yeah, I think you just. My personal thought right there is just stay ahead of the disciplines that give you a small advantage each and every week. So making sure that you're doing your research when it comes to defenses picking up the right defense and kicker.
Mike Wright
Grab Zirloin off the waiver wire.
Andy Holloway
Get ahead of your bye weeks by two or three weeks because you've got some buffer space. You don't need production off the bench. So you know, two weeks ago if you were there in Rodgers owner, you would have been ahead of the game grabbing Andy Dalton, grabbing James Winston, somebody else. You know, if you have bye weeks coming down the line, I would be paying attention to those things.
Jason Moore
And a lot of times it's motivation too because once you feel like, once you feel like, oh, okay, I'm locked in, I don't need to pay attention. Look at your league because if your league, like I would say most or at least half have a first round buy for the highest winners, that is so valuable. I mean when you're in there, you got assuming it's a three week system where the first week, you know, two players get a buy those. I mean you only need to win one game if you've got the buy to be in your fantasy championship. So go home after every win and.
Mike Wright
If you're that team and you can go get Levy on Bell, that is 100% worth the risk or even a.
Jason Moore
Leonard Fournette type to me because I think he's gone for another couple weeks. But when he comes back he'll be a beast.
Andy Holloway
As long as he doesn't go Devonta Freeman's direction.
Mike Wright
I would rather go after.
Jason Moore
I would much rather have Lovell. Yes.
Andy Holloway
Jerome in Pennsylvania. I was offered Odell Beckham Jr. For juju and want to know if I should accept half point league to trade juju for Beckham. Correct.
Mike Wright
Yeah, I would still do it as.
Jason Moore
Would I rather have Beckham.
Mike Wright
I'd rather have Beckham.
Andy Holloway
Greg in Chicago. Hi guys. I own Lashawn McCoy in my 10 person standard league just got offered Jordan Howard. Should I accept this trade or write it out with Shady?
Mike Wright
Shady.
Andy Holloway
Shady.
Mike Wright
Shady. Shady's back to the the absolute volume machine. His offense is not nearly as good, but the volume is counteracting. Jason is deep in thought. He is staring off into the void, looking into his soul.
Jason Moore
This one is really, really tough for me because I think you're going to miss a couple weeks here with Josh Allen and the Shady that you're going to get is going to be putrid. And if Jordan Howard gets the work, he's going to be much better.
Mike Wright
It. But here's the thing.
Jason Moore
The work is obviously more guaranteed with Shady.
Mike Wright
There is a possibility that Derek Anderson is the quarterback for the Buffalo Bill.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
That he was named. He's been named the starter.
Mike Wright
Thank you, Brooks.
Andy Holloway
Derek Anderson has.
Mike Wright
Yes.
Andy Holloway
Over Peterman. Yes.
Mike Wright
The Bills have.
Jason Moore
You would have been.
Mike Wright
The Bills have their best starting over Peterman, the best starting quarterback they've had all year starting this week.
Jason Moore
Oh, yes.
Mike Wright
High five.
Andy Holloway
No.
Jason Moore
Yes.
Andy Holloway
No.
Jason Moore
No. But I love it.
Andy Holloway
Yeah. It's not true, but it, it does. It may be the best, maybe the most willing to chuck it downfield and do those type of things.
Jason Moore
Yeah, I would go shady but Derek.
Andy Holloway
And look, start your Colts defense against Eric.
Mike Wright
Oh, I am.
Jason Moore
I mean, I'm less excited about the Colts defense with Derek Anderson than I was with Nathan Peterman. When it was Nathan Peterman, it was like, oh, Colts, you have to start him.
Andy Holloway
I agree.
Jason Moore
Colts defense not very good.
Andy Holloway
Well, limited.
Jason Moore
Neither is Derek Anderson, Andrew and Orlando.
Andy Holloway
Last question. Are Michelle and White the new Camaro and Ingram? If I have both, can I play them together every week?
Jason Moore
Yep. Cool.
Mike Wright
That was.
Jason Moore
Man, that was easy.
Andy Holloway
