Bro, it's the one thing I'll say. And everybody that, that has like school age kids out there that knows or especially like high schoolers and stuff. The one great thing is I know that the grocery bills get a little bit less during the school year because it's like all right, got to worry about breakfast D, got to worry about lunch and it's got to feed him dinner, man. So it's like as opposed to the summer where I'm like dude, y' all ever stop freaking eating? Like I just went yesterday. How did you polish off two boxes of Twinkies, a box of Fruit Roll Ups and a damn box of Ding Dong in 12 hours. How did that happen? How so. Yes, it's very nice, Seth.

Whether that's Cali Jackson, Seth John, everybody, just absolutely crushed it. Been watching for years, and it was incredible. Who are your biggest risers over the last week with all the camp news? So, Dbro, we also have Nick checking in asking who the biggest riser in the rankings was. Is it Bill? Is it jcm? Also Bill cm, I guess bcm, as we're calling him these days.

Dude, I've seen for anybody that likes old snl, the Bill Crosby merit has been out there too. Like anybody needs to just go. Just go google old snl. It's. It's fantastic. But dude, yeah, jcms, Jacori Crosky. Merit has been a big riser for me. I mean, right now, I was Updating notes and rankings on fantasyprose.com this morning again right now we are in news season so have to keep your head on a swivel. Right now I am doing projecting with this but with all the news that we're currently dealing with and I want people to follow that if they're doing drafts right now, this weekend, tonight, tomorrow, everything I have moved up Jakory Crosby merit up to RB32. So I am projecting with that ranking that Brian Robinson Jr. Is either traded or cut or not on this team. I know there's projection, but as we get more news, I'm going to sit here and move the rankings and stuff and I want people to be in tune. So I think he deserves to be drafted somewhere. And if you're using real time ADP on fantasypros.com that is another fantastic resource. Whether you're pulling the news and everything else. Like you have the app, the all in one app this year downloaded all of these things are meant to keep up with all of these things quickly that can change these rankings. Like right now I'm talking about before all of this news, Jacori Korsky, Merritt was a player that was ranked somewhere in the RB 60s or 70s or the RB on the depth chart. Now with the news that we're getting, If Brian Robertson Jr. Is not on this team, if he is cut or traded, JCM deserves, Bill deserves to be drafted in that RB3 territory. So if you have drafts coming up, not only should you be doing mocks on the draft simulator, not only should you be keeping up with news on fantasypros.com with the app, you also need to use real time ADP so you're understanding how these things are shifting because the adp, if you're drafting on Yahoo or ESPN Sleep or whatever, it's not going to catch up right enough. It's not going to correct. So you're saying to yourself, okay, well I mean how early is too early? Should I be drafting him here? Is this a reach RB3 territory? The other guy I'll shout out here and and I updated ranks this morning and I even threw this out here and people are telling me I'm still too low on him with all the stuff that that hit the timeline yesterday with with Jalen McMillan possibly being out till after week.

Oh my God, dude. And, and the Chris Godwin news. I moved up a mecca Buca a ton. Like right now he's my wide receiver 32 and some have said that that's still too low. I think that's comfortable and I want to, I don't want to be too reactionary with that, but I think somewhere in that like high end to mid wide receiver 3 range is exactly where he should be. Now chat, y' all could tell me if I'm wrong with that. If I'm too, too low or too high on him, please let us know. But Seth, what do you think about that with, with Bill and jcm or excuse me, Bill Anika, where are you at with them?

Yeah. So those of you who did not catch the news, Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. Did not play in Monday's preseason game. This, according to Adam Schefter, is signaling the end of his tenure in the nation's capital. So for me, I was already, I felt like really high on jcm. I was taking him last round with a lot of dart throws, have a ton of best ball exposure, have a lot of people already sending me some garbage dynasty trade requests for him. Get out of here with that. I ain't taking your Jack Besh for JCM right now. Even though I like Jack Bash. I ain't doing that. But to me, dbro, I came into a decision yesterday. Last night on the IBT podcast, I was doing a mock draft and I had to face a decision. Do I take Javante Williams over jcm? I did, but I think that's the line for me. I, I think I'm right in there with. You are currently RB31. I moved him above Joe Mixon. I moved no above Jordan Mason and Travis etn. That's kind of the line for me. What about you? Are you, is he above etn? Is he above Mason for you?

I think right now if we're living in the world of, for me at least it's that that same type of tier of like you're talking about Javante Williams, Tank Bigsby, Jordan Mason, J.K. dobbins, Tyrone Tracy, Jalen Warren. I think that's the realm where I think Bill Jaquori, Krosky, Merritt should be drafted somewhere in that range where we're talking about, whether it's volume, roll, touchdowns, probably in that, in that range of where we're talking about. In the best case of circumstances they can be low end RB2s or they're probably better viewed as like standalone flex plays or RB3s right now.

Okay. And just to kind of follow up there with the Ameca Abuka take as well, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Jalen Millen, he was placed on IR Inter reserve with a neck injury. He will Miss at least the first four games. So to me, I've been rising on Abuka. He was my wide receiver too in the process. If we go back to the NFL draft show and I tried to like really temper my expectations and redraft dbro just because it was a loaded wide receiver group. Before this news, I had him at.

Wide receiver 38 and now they're dropping like flies, dude.

I know. Yeah, it's. It's a tough scene out there with McMillan. We don't think Chris Godman will be ready to go as well. Right now I have him up at wide receiver 35 now. However, you could start making the case. Should I take him over Travis Hunter? Should I take him over Jerry Judy, Marvin Harrison Jr. Those are the three. I don't know whether I move him above. Is he above those guys in your rankings? He.

He's not above Travis Hunter, but I think right now the realm he's living in for me and my ranks differ from consensus. Like I'm not as high on Marvin Harrison Jr. As most or DJ Moore, but right now I think he's in the. I think. I think him and Zay Flowers are. Are basically like the.

Like it's. I think that's where I'm at. Where Zay Flowers has been wide receiver 31, wide receiver 32 and fantasy points per game over the last two years. What's the difference in him and a Mecca Buka? And honestly, dude, like, I mean, if. If IG Buka is going to operate as the two in the Bucks passing offense for most of maybe the entirety of the year, why shouldn't he be ranked above Zay Flowers? Because we know Tampa Bay is going to throw the ball more than Baltimore.

It's a great point. It is certainly a great point. I think the only thing that could hold a Mecca Abuka back is we do have the changeover and offensive coordinator down there in Tampa Bay. But Baker Mayfield was that one outlier quarterback last year with just an insane touchdown rate. So I'm not expecting, you know, 40 plus touchdowns. But at the same time, Mecca has always been the guy who was going to get on the field because he's a great run blocker, he's a great teammate. He can do everything from route people up underneath to taking a deep shot. He can do a little bit of everything. So I'm right there with you, man. I wanted to ask you about Rasheed Rice as well. With the news coming out that initially the NFL was looking for a 10 game suspension, the PA pushed back so there's no settlement on when that will be. Where are you dropping Rice in your rankings? Because right now I have him all the way down at wide receiver 39, and I'm not sure where to go from here.

To be honest. Dude, I didn't move him at all. He's wide receiver 25. And I don't think. See, here's the thing with Rice. If his representation doesn't feel like they had a case.

To push back and push back hard against the BS that the NFL is trying to do because there's no previously established statute for 10 games. Like, there's nothing there for that. Like, that just feels like we're going to make an example out of this guy. And that's kind of where it comes down to me with the NFL. Like, everybody can cite, oh, it should be five or six games. It should be four. Dude, the NFL does whatever the heck the NFL wants to do. And this is one of those things where, like, they pushed 10 games. His. The NFLPA and his representation said, nah, man, I'm gonna get. I'm shooting you the bird. You're not getting that. That's not what's happening here. So right now I'm kind of projecting, I think cutting that in half and he gets five games, I think is totally fine. And if that's the. If that's where he lands, though, we already kind of knew he was gonna probably land in that four to six range. So depending on where that happens or if that's the case, why are we moving him in rankings down at all? Because isn't all of that just kind of a nothing burger? And basically we already kind of knew, like, if that's where it lands, then he lands kind of in the spot where we already thought he was going to land. And being a wide receiver three, to me, it was. It was. It was. It was a lot of news that I think didn't move me at all because it was like we already knew he was going to miss a bunch of games. You were already accounting for that and how you were building your teams. And then it really just comes down to when he's back. What do you think he's going to be? I think he's going to be a wide receiver two with wide receiver one upside when he's back. Well, then you were already accounting for that, how you were building your teams and how you were drafting. So what's the difference?

You might be right. Maybe I am overreacting to the news. I just, like, can't fathom Stomaching a player who could miss half the season on my team. I just don't want to. Like, burning up that roster spot is more just damning than anything to me. Right. Like, I just hate doing that.

But you're not drafting him to be your wide receiver too. On squads. Right, Seth, you're drafting to be a flex or your wide receiver 3. And when he's back, he outproduces. This is just a zoom out of. Well, then I'm just trying to float the boat until he gets back.

Right. Right.

And if that's the case, then what's the difference here? You know, then. Then it comes down to what are you projecting as far as games missed? If you're on the high side of like, it's 8 to 10, then I understand your ranking.

If you're in the. It's probably a four to six bucket, like where I'm at.

And somewhere probably as a wide receiver, three makes more sense.

Like, but again, that delay in this announcements, if this was more of a open and shut case, like Jordan Addison, right?

You know, Jordan Addison, like, his representation was like, bro, this is the best we're getting. Shut up. Deal with it. Get it over with. Let's get this out the way. Announce it. Put this in your rearview. If Rashee Rice's representation didn't feel like they had a case and they couldn't push for this, then tell me, why wouldn't they just be like, look, get this over done with. Let's get this. Exactly. There's no push back. We can't do anything about this. Yes, it sucks, but you got to deal with it.

And in the rear view, if that was the case, why wouldn't this already be in the news, known out there and done with? The fact that it's not, I feel, is the signal that. That a lot of people are missing. The fact that this is still being fought under the surface by his reps leads me to believe it's either going to come in lower or it's going to be in that five to six range.

Interesting. Yeah. I mean, it's one of those things that you got to risk it for the Biscuit here. Right. We got to put on our big, big boy and big girl pants. Yep. We saw it the same thing a couple years ago with the holdout and the injury for Jonathan Taylor, if you took him in the seventh, eighth round in 2023, you're very happy. But then there's the other side of the coin too, where sometimes this doesn't work out in your favor as a fantasy manager. But we shall see what how this plays out here. I wanted to get to a couple more questions and comments here. Would you take Bill over Echler? Derek? Yeah, I don't think it's really that close for me.

Eckler doesn't have. We know his role, what his role was going to be as the pass catcher in this backfield. He doesn't have upside to be a workhorse. Whereas like if Eckler goes down, if they don't like if, if Bill is playing really good and Eckler goes down, could we see like a Brian Robinson plus role? Could this be he's a workhorse. They seed a little bit more of the volume. Maybe some past game work that doesn't go to maybe a McNichols and he goes to Bill. That's where it's like Eckler's fine and best ball streets. Like you want to make the case for him versus like Justice Hill or other pass catching backs. Fine. But there's no ceiling with Austin Eckler worse versus like Bill. Yeah, there's a ceiling outcome there.

Yeah. And let's not forget the reason I think Jakori Krasky Merit went so under the radar during the process is didn't get to play at Arizona last year. Was fighting getting the NCAA on some legal issues with his transfer screwed him. Yeah.

He had a fourth round grade for me in the draft. He should have gone somewhere in the fourth or fifth round at least even a deep running back class like we talked about. A man like I, and I'm not alone with that. I know Mike Renner and other people out there were high on him as a prospect. I really like the kid. But what the, what the NCAA did to him and, and really hurting his NFL draft stock was honestly a travesty. They should be ashamed of that.

Yeah, but yeah, but yeah, let's, let's push back about, about all these collegiate kids making money and, and protecting themselves versus the NCAA that doesn't care about them. Yes, let's go. Let's side with big, big NCAA here. You'll never hear that out of me.

The one thing I will never put together and it kind of feels counterintuitive because I'm like, out of all the things that like, if it's put together wrong as far as bodily harm and bad things going sideways, the one lazy thing I have never put together and will never put together. It kind of scares me mentioning this now is a grill, which I'm like, propane explosion. Is that probably like I should be putting that together, but dude, that's the one thing I will say.

I was like, isn't he, like, on live, like, Twitch right now doing the afterparty for Fantasy Fest? Dude, it was total phone a friend. Him and Welsh. I mean, him and Bogman were still drafting, and he's like, hey, so I'm grading my team. So anybody that you can go still watch the playback of the afterparty. It was definitely a fun time. Welsh is like, dude, I'm so glad you even answered. I was like, I'm not a. I'm not a savage or horrible person. You call me. I'm answering Welsh, of course. But it was a good time.

So I'm with you there. One of my biggest feats last season in my really, really competitive home league, these guys are super sharp. But right before the breakout, I was able to trade Kyler Murray straight up for lad McConkey and I had no receivers at all. So that felt great. That was, that was a good one. Yeah. So I will not, I don't think I'll ever draft Kyler Murray again. I just also don't like his personality, so it's not fun to root for him either.

The problem with Kyler is it comes down to like, when would you feel comfortable? And this is again, teasing this video, like the thing that I'm highlighting the most of this. And for everybody out there, like, I understand he finished as the QB12 and fantasy points per game like that. On the surface it's like, well, we're all too low on Kyler. If you had Kyler in a managed league last year, you knew the pain. Because if you look at what he did on a more granular weekly basis, this dude had five top five finishes where he averaged 26 fantasy points per game. Which all sounds amazing. Like, oh, that's awesome. Winning you a week. The problem is other side in the same season, the other side of the coin he had nine games where he was the QB 15 or lower. So it's like those five games, if you started him were great.

The other nine times, which again, that's 14 games out of the season. He finished as a low end to mid QB2. And you were saying you were just reconsidering everything about your life. I think you're going to see a different quarterback starting by week seven places because they get Miami in week seven. So that's more of a layup start. Like you have time to kind of like. So their bye week is week nine. They have Miami and New England. Those are not like incredibly terrible matchups. And then you go into the bye week to kind of really kind of firm up who's gonna be the quarterback. So I, I think Flacco is out of the starting job by week seven. Oh, by week seven.
