And we're going to go through some running backs, some wide receivers, couple tight ends, couple QBs. Gentlemen, I hope you have your words ready. We're going to start at the running back position and we're going to start with Ashton Genty of the Las Vegas Raiders. Pat, give me the prediction on Ashton Genti's season in three words or less.
Pat Fitz Morris
All right, I know this is supposed to be like a prediction, Joe. I couldn't come up with like a three word prediction for him. So my three words for Ashton Genti are otherworldly contact balance. And I think that sort of implies a prediction of a very excellent rookie season for Ashton Jensen. Like his contact balance is special. Just like once, I don't want to use the word generational because that word gets overused, but his contact balance is like, you have to hit this dude with a sledgehammer to get him off his feet. And I just, I think Genty is going to be terrific from the get go. I have no beef with anyone who wanted to take him late in the first round of fantasy drafts this year. So I'm really excited about him.
Joey P
All right. Ashton Genti, certainly very exciting. And Erickson was puzzled. He thought otherworldly was two words. It's not. We're able to get through there. It's one word, Erickson. Or maybe you can put a little hyphen in there if you want. Erickson, Ashton Genti, give me the outlook in three words.
Andrew Erickson
Mine has a hyphen. So 2026, top five. Because that's what is going to happen after we See Ashton Jetty play his rookie year. He will be a top five consensus pick in 2026 fantasy football drafts because he's going to be.
Joey P
Awesome question for you, Erickson. So if he's going to be a top five, who are the guys ahead of him? Let's say top four.
Andrew Erickson
Let's see. Wouldn't it surprise me if another running back we're talking about could end up being in the top five when we talk about next year. But it's probably still. Bijan is probably in there, I think. I don't think that's a gun is going to be in there.
Joey P
Okay, Pat wants to answer. Yes, Pat. You, you, you're waiting there raising your hand.
Pat Fitz Morris
Bijan. Chase. Jefferson. Drake. London.
Joey P
Drake, London. Okay. It's funny because then why is CMC going ahead of Ash and Genti? And again that's he looks better down.
Andrew Erickson
The path because he's not, he's not old. It's not another year after him getting older. He's going to probably score him. Like who scores more points in week one? Like we've done week one rankings. Do you have Genti ranked ahead of CMC? I don't because CMC's healthy for week one.
Joey P
But we're rejecting next year admittedly there. So just wanted to put that out there for all those truthers of the CMC were taking shots at me on the last show I did with Pat. Just saying, you know, this is. This is it. Neither of them.
Pat Fitz Morris
I've Genti, I've. I've Genti ranked ahead of CMC and draft rankings though.
Joey P
Yes, well, because you're a wise sage, Pat Fitz Morris. All right, Andrew Erickson, let's move on to the next running back on our list. In three words or less, describe the season ahead for Devon Hn Was Tua healthy?
Andrew Erickson
Because I think that really is the. That's what projected Devon Achan last year when Tua was healthy, he was the highest scoring running back in points per game. And when he was not, well, you didn't want to start him in your fantasy lineup. So I think it all really comes down to the Dolphins and the health of their starting quarterback because that's what ultimately is going to be the driver of this offense. And yes, A chan I think has a lot of upside like we saw when things work his way. But if he's banged up with a calf injury, if this lingers or in terms of doing Achilles thing or something like along those lines, then you know, he's a really. I think he's a The ultimate Boomer bus pick. And it'll be interesting to see how things kind of shake out for a Dolphins team that I think a lot of us can see where things get off the rails with them.
Joey P
All right, Paffet's Morris, Devon Achan to you. Three words or less.
Pat Fitz Morris
What do you have upside with risk? And Erickson also just said Boomer bust. That would have been a three. I like. I don't know if he's going to bust if we get a healthy season from Devon Hn. I don't think there's much bust potential, although he is a smaller guy. So I do think there's a little more baked in injury risk than there might be for some other players. I don't like the Miami offensive line and what if, what if they do endeavor to not have such a compact, compressed passing game? Like what if they start trying to go deep again? I mean it's great that John who Smith was traded and that probably means like Devon HN is going to get a huge percentage of the shorter targets in the passing game. But what if it's not entirely a short passing game this year like it was last year after Tua came back from the concussion.
Joey P
Yeah, that's a good point too. Also, Ali Gordon working around too. Saw Raheem Moster a couple years ago get a crap ton of touchdowns and there's room for two RBs in this system. We've seen it before so I'm curious if we can see it again. And I probably spend way too much fab on Ali Gordon in in a league with Derek Brown. Today we'll see if I outbid him or not. We'll, we'll find out in just a couple hours from now. I'll give everybody the update on the social media. All right, let's get to the next running back on our list, Pat. His name is Omarion Hampton. Certainly, as Derek would say, a lot of range of outcomes here this year with Hampton, but the talent is undeniable. Give me his season in three words or less.
Pat Fitz Morris
Hits ground running.
Joey P
I like that.
Pat Fitz Morris
Love this guy. NFL body goes right into a Jim Harbaugh Greg Roman system was just terrific in college. He's big. He is going to fit the NFL game really well. Also really nimble quick feet, catches, passes. But someone on the Athletic football podcast just mentioned this and I I found this pretty enlightening is that you know Drake May left North Carolina 2 years ago well after last year was not there last fall and Omarion Hampton still led the ACC in rushing and like didn't miss a beat when Drake may miss like left and normally like that quarterback drop off is going to affect the running back too. Not at all. For Hampton. He was the same monster he was in 2023. Just carry that over. I think he's going to be great from the start.
Joey P
Yeah, I hope so too. I've got some shares myself. And good thing you left before Bill Belichick got there too. It seems like that's probably also a good move. Andrew Erickson, Omarion Hampton, in three words or less, what do you have?
Andrew Erickson
Oh, no, first I gotta get my Belichick take. I watched the first drive thinking, oh, he's back, baby. They're up seven. Nothing good to go. I like go do something for an hour or two, come back, oh, oh no. What happened?
Joey P
What was bigger? The age gap in that score or between him and his girlfriend? That's the only question.
Pat Fitz Morris
It was. At one point it was the same and it was 41 to 7.
Joey P
Yikes. Andrew Erickson. Let's get back to Amari and Hampton before we get ourselves in Trouble.
Andrew Erickson
All right. 2026, first rounder. Because I think that like Ash and Genti, Hampton's going to have a monster rookie season. I think he's going to be consensus round one pick. Look, we don't know what to expect from Najee Harris this year. I know that the beginning of the offseason seemed like he was going to be in the thorn in the side of Hampton, but then he had the eye injury. Now he's going to be available for equal one. We don't really know what his role is going to be and maybe he does seeing expanded role as the season progresses, but he's probably not gonna be on the team next year because he's on a one year deal. And whatever you think about what happens in 2025, 2026, it's going to be the Omarion Hampton show in Los Angeles and it's going to be a first round pick type of show that you want to sign up for.
Joey P
Okay. The next running back on our list, gentlemen, and I use that term loosely, was number three overall in fantasy RB hood just two years ago. Last year disappointing injuries happen, of course, and now we're in the last year of a contract for one. Travis E. Andrew Erickson, describe his season for me coming up in three words or less.
Andrew Erickson
Good, not great. I think that where he's going in drafts is the reason why he is enticing of a fantasy pick because he's really, really cheap and he Looks like he's going to be seeing a decent role in the Jaguars offense that we think can be improved with Liam Cohen, with Trevor Lawrence. So yeah, I just don't know how long his leash is as the starting running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars because I think that Tank Bigsby is capable in his own right as an early down rusher and I think Bashal Tutin is really, really explosive and I think it's gonna be hard for them to keep him off the field because I think that the speed that he offers is something that both Bigsby and ETN just don't have.
Joey P
That could be true if he's good and not great at RB32. I'm looking right now where he got drafted. I'll settle for that. I'll take good not great as an RB2 at the hundredth player overall. How about you?
Pat Fitz Morris
Pavitz Morris, Travis Satan traded to Cowboys. That's just a prediction. The Jaguars don't really need them. They've got Tank Bigsby, who was appreciably better in every running game metric last year. They've got Bashaw Tooten and they've got Laquin Allen who can be your passing down back. Dallas does need him. They need some more electricity in their running game. Unless you're a big Jaden Blue believer, which I'm really not. So I, I think that's a logical deal. Send a Day 3 pick to Jacksonville.
Joey P
Day 3 Jerry Jones is all those ones. Why not just give one of those? Pat, it's Jerry Jones. Who knows what he might be able to do with those ones. I could. I'll trade two first round picks. Give me that Travis atn. That's who I want. That's who I'm gonna get me some Travis ATM for those two first round picks. Get. I don't know why he sounds like George W. Bush, but he does. He does. When I do that impersonation, that's what he sounds like. All right, maybe Andrew Erickson has some different ideas when it comes to some of these other running backs here. Let's get to the next guy on our list. Jacori Crosky. Merritt Erickson. I actually. You know what? I'm gonna wait on you on this one. I want to get Pat's take on this one first because I've heard a lot of Bill Hype in the last couple weeks and I need Pat Fitz Morris to tell me the truth.
Pat Fitz Morris
Pat, what do you have too much hype? I mean he, he could be good and still disappoint for where he's been drafted in some fan like he's coming off the board seventh round now. I was in a draft where he went in the fifth round a week ago.
Joey P
Yeah, he's two running backs away from Travis atn which is again I think just a little nuts though right now.
Pat Fitz Morris
I mean that's the thing it's going to be. They've got Austin Eckler who's going to own the passing downs and the two minute offense. They've got Chris Rodriguez Jr. Who they've already said is going to handle the short yardage work. So it's a three way backfield. Plus Jaden Daniels is going to get you 8 or 900 rushing yards himself. I just, I don't think there's, I think he's being drafted like at his potential ceiling.
Joey P
I'm glad you brought up Chris Rodriguez because especially in half PPR leagues I picked him up in a lot of spots and I just feel like you know that that's an easy get me 10 points, get out of there kind of RB, you know, he falls in the end zone, boom. Like I'm gonna have nine points probably that day. Like it's just gonna work out somewhere in that vein potentially. Andrew Erickson, I know you're on the other end of the spectrum, so give me your three words on Jakori Crosby. Merit.
Andrew Erickson
They told us, they've been telling us the entire off season from OTAs from the start. Who was the star OTAS in the spring? Chicory Cross, a seventh round rookie running back. They told us when they were like Brian Robinson throwing you away like Woody in Toy Story, just gone. I don't want to play with you anymore. Train to the 49ers for nothing. Like it's so clear that they want their, they want him to be the guy in the backfield. Now does it happen in week one? Are these other guys going to have roles? Yes, I think to some extent and maybe it doesn't all come to fruition for week one but you know who's gonna be the number one buy low target after he's in a three way committee in week one? Corey Crosby. Merit. Right. Like that's the way you have to think about and I think that the both things can be true here where he is overhyped but he can also be a hit because where he was drafted in your draft is, could be totally different from someone else that got him because it's all over the place. Like I've always been like round eight, like that's where I feel comfortable picking him because I think that he can be a fantasy RB too. And if you draft him and he finishes a fantasy RB2, and that's pretty good value for where you drafted him. I mean, fifth round, I think that's aggressive, but that doesn't kill you necessarily. I just don't think he's going to be a bust, per se. He may not be a league winner depending on if you drafted him in round five, but can he provide value? And you look at some of the other running backs that he reminds me of, Damian Pierce, Isaiah Pacheco, James Robinson, all those guys ended up being good values where they ended up being drafted. So I think that he's going to be a. Yeah, so all those guys were hyped up and it's like, oh, the hype's too much, types too much. And then they ended up being like solid RB2s, which I think is in Jacob Crossing Merit's range of outcomes firmly.
Joey P
Pat, let's say week one happens in the Giants pull off an upset. That Giants defense is very good. Let's say they stuff up the Washington run game all together and they, they just, you know, let's. Let's say that game just goes maybe differently than people might think it is. Week one, crazy things happen. But that Giant defense is very, very talented. Would you. Corey Crosby, one of the most dropped guys, if he had like a. Just a big old stinker, could you see that, like week two, like the most dropped airs? Jacori, Crosky, Merit. I could see that as a scenario happening where people, as much as they hype, they overreact in week one, too.
Andrew Erickson
Yep.
Pat Fitz Morris
Yeah, not far fetched. I could. I could see that, too.
Joey P
All right, let's get to another one of my favorite things. Speaking of the Giants, Cam Scatterboo, Andrew Erickson, give me your three words. Talking about his 20, 25, one fumble away.
Andrew Erickson
That's all camp Scatterbo needs. Just needs one fumble from Tyrone Tracy to get the keys to the Giants backfield, because I think it's really that simple. I think that he profiles more as a bell cow in a bruiser running back. And I think they'd rather have Scatterbo be the lead guy with Tyrone Tracy being the complementary piece to Scatterbo in the thunder and lightning type of dynamic. But if Dayball wanted to really turn to a guy who could do it all, I think that it's clear that that's probably scatterable, who could do that. So right now with Tyrone Tracy, he's the guy it's his backfield, but we've seen Dave all sour on him before. Happen last year where he took it over, fumbled and they gave it back to Devin Singletary and it took a while for him to get the job back. So yeah, Scoutbow, it may not happen in week one. I think that you should be patient.
Joey P
All right, Pat. Cam Scatterbo, three words or less.
Pat Fitz Morris
Does style translate? And yeah, that's a question. I just don't know. Like, he is a sort of a banger with. Without great top line speed and like that worked really well at Arizona State. I don't know if it's going to necessarily work as well in the NFL. I don't know. I actually drafted quite a bit of him in Dynasty rookie drafts. Like, so I'm optimistic. But like, I could also see a scenario where he averages 3.4 yards per carry this year and no one's excited about him going into 2026.
Joey P
It's interesting too, Pat, because isn't that kind of in the MO his whole career, right in high school, like, oh, he's not going to be that good. And then he is. And okay, well it's not going to Translate to Division 1 College. And then it does. He takes over a game against Texas, you know, a team that sent basically the entire squad to the NFL last year. That's the thing. It's like we keep saying, well, does it translate? Doesn't translate. He keeps translating it. So this is it. This is the final boss. We'll see if you can get by it. All right, let's take a break in the action to tell you about Stitch Fix, because let's be honest, it's the time of year where you want to be home on the weekends watching football. You don't want to go out shopping, but you need some new shirts to wear. Because look, frankly, there's date nights, there's the holidays coming up and you need some nice things. All right, gentlemen, let's get to the wide receivers and turn the page here. Three words or less. Another Giant Pat Fitz Moore has talked.
Pat Fitz Morris
To me about Malik Neighbors nervous about toe and I had him in the off season.
Joey P
Yeah, like I had him either words I was expecting. I just caught me off guard there.
Pat Fitz Morris
With those Item wide receiver 4 or wide receiver 5 in my early off season rankings. Like he was just behind that group of Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, CD Lam. I've got him like now below Drake London, Nico Collins, Brian Thomas Jr. Like, I'm just, I'm worried if the Giants are 3 and 10, which they very well could be because they've got a murderous early season schedule and not a very good looking offense other than Malik neighbors. Do they maybe shut him down and preserve him if this toe thing is an issue all year, Just as you know, just as you're hitting the fantasy playoffs. So he's kind of scary for me. Like I no questions about his ability. I think he can make it work. Whether it's Russell Wilson, Jackson darts, Jameis Winston, whoever, like neighbors is that good. But the toe thing, like any physical ailments that he's going into the season with, that makes me a little, makes my palms a little sweaty.
Joey P
Yeah, I can understand that. Yeah. And the changing of quarterbacks throughout the season, you just never know how that's going to work. All right, let's see if any body parts are in Andrew Erickson's three words.
Andrew Erickson
Parts. No, no body parts for me when it comes to Malik Neighbors. My Three words are so much volume. Because that's really the bet on Malik Neighbors. I think last year he led the NFL in targets. I think 170 targets. Something absolutely bonkers. And why isn't he going to see that type of volume again this year? But it's almost kind of a double edged sword where he's seeing so much volume that it seems like he is getting a workload type of. They're trying to balance his workload like you see with running backs. He's missed a lot of the off season because they're trying to maintenance his workload because he's going to see so many targets every single week. And can he sustain that for 17 weeks? Kind of like what Fit said the toe injury is something that he's been dealing with. But just all the hits. If he's accumulating, then week after week after week because it's 15 targets, 15 targets, 15 targets. Does he last till the fantasy playoffs? And that does, you know, create some concerns.
Joey P
This is a real good story about.
Andrew Erickson
Bronx and his dad, Ryan, Real United Airlines customers.
Pat Fitz Morris
We were returning home and one of the flight attendants asked Bronx if he wanted to see the flight deck and meet Kath and Andrew.
Andrew Erickson
I got to sit in the driver's seat.
Pat Fitz Morris
I grew up in an aviation family and seeing Bronx kind of reminded me of myself when I was that age.
Andrew Erickson
That's Andrew, a real United pilot.
Pat Fitz Morris
These small interactions can shape a kid's future.
Andrew Erickson
It felt like I was the captain.
Joey P
Allowing my son to see the flight deck will stick with us forever.
Pat Fitz Morris
That's how good leads the way.
Joey P
Hola.

Joey P
Listen to the Solid Verbal College football podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, Certainly some concerns potentially for Malik neighbors. Let's talk about the concerns around Tyree Kill. Andrew Erickson in three words or less.
Andrew Erickson
Red flags everywhere. I just, I understand the argument for Tyree Kill, but it's all about, well, what if he just turns back to 20, 23? That's it. But guys don't get better as they get older. They get worse. I disagree.
Joey P
Pat Fitz Morris is right here and he is a delight. He is like wine at professional football.
Andrew Erickson
I should have been more clear at professional football. Watch your crowd, especially at the wide receiver position. It's not a gradual decline. Guys are good. Maybe they show a little decline and then they just drop off and you're just like, where did this guy go? Michael Thomas, remember that guy? Yeah.
Joey P
Hey, I remember Amari Cooper just last year.
Andrew Erickson
Amari Cooper, exactly. It's a great, It's a great DeAndre.
Joey P
Hopkins just last year. Sure, it happens.
Andrew Erickson
So. And a lot of these guys, they move from team to team. So Tyree Kill, is he going to get traded and maybe that is a good thing. I personally don't think it's a good thing. And now the fact that Rice is coming back in the or, he's serving his suspension to start the year and not in the middle of the season. Now I feel like the Chiefs really aren't in play anymore for Tyreeko because, oh, we're going to get Rice back. We don't need to trade for him. So I, I just think that the vibes are just so terrible. He wasn't voted as a team captain for the first time since being in Miami. Now he expected that. He was totally expected that. But I just. If they lose Week 1 against the Colts, this is just going to be the beginning of a, a dumpster fire in Miami with Tyree Kill the one leading all the flames.
Joey P
I'm here for it. All right, Tyree Kill. Pathetic. Morris, break it down for us.
Pat Fitz Morris
Recalibrate your expectations. And I'm pretty much with Erickson. Like we, we aren't getting the 1700 yard seasons back and everyone has talked about that. Like, you know what, what if that happens again? Like, I don't even think that's in the range of outcomes. Like, I think a nice bounce back would be, you know, 1200 yards and nine touchdowns. I don't think we return to the huge epic season again. It's just, I don't know, I think people just. I think the ADP has been right with him. I think it weighs the risk. Getting Hill in like the late third, early fourth. That seems right to me. I still think he can be good, but like he's not going to be great.
Joey P
So 1200 yards and nine touchdowns, is that going to be more or less than what Garrett Wilson has this year?
Pat Fitz Morris
It's going to be more than Garrett. Well, okay.
Joey P
Because they're going basically back to back or were going back to back in draft. So I just think that's kind of interesting.
Pat Fitz Morris
I mean like that's the top end outcome though for Tyree Kill. That's not the median outcome.
Joey P
Okay, is that. But that would be the top end outcome for Garrett Wilson. Right?
Pat Fitz Morris
I mean, yeah, I've got Garrett Wilson ranked higher than Tyree Kill.
Joey P
Right.
Pat Fitz Morris
I think there's less risk probably.
Joey P
Yeah. But I just think they might be closer than you. Really? I. To me it was all about the discount you're getting at Hill. I'm not, look, I'm not looking for 1700, but to your expectation. 12, 9. Hey, that sounds pretty good as my third wide receiver on a big wide receiver.
Andrew Erickson
You know who's even cheaper than Tyreeko? Jalen Waddle.
Joey P
Well. Or Ted Roll McMillan. I'd rather have exactly either of those.
Andrew Erickson
Rather have any of those. Like, how about we stay away from.
Joey P
The Dolphins as much as possible? How about we just stay away from that?
Andrew Erickson
Except for Ollie Gordon, of course.
Joey P
Except for Ollie Gordon. Way, way too much fab on. And I don't care you're the first or last of those expert leagues, and I have three championships in that league in six years, and I plan on getting back to the top of the mountain. I don't care what kind of fab Dbro's trying to throw. You think Debro would throw 80% of his fab on Ollie Gordon if he was out there? Do you think he would do that this week? One? I don't know.
Andrew Erickson
I don't remember him being this, like, major Ollie Gordon bull. Or is that. I don't know.
Joey P
All I know is he kept asking, when's waivers? When waivers? Jake Seeley, who runs that league, and I'm just like, boy, oh boy, somebody's really anxious. I better make sure I keep upping my bids just to make sure that I don't let. It's okay if Andy Barrons gets him. It's okay if Ratcliffe gets him. It's not okay if Derek gets him over me. And just. I'm making a statement with my waiver bit. All right, let's get to Zoo.
Pat Fitz Morris
Wait, does this mean we're not going to talk about three words for Darren Waller? I can't say no more. Music.
Andrew Erickson
I think you just did.
Joey P
I don't know. I don't know, Pat. I think you're wrong on that one. I think we could all use one more Darren Waller banger. Just. Just drop that bad boy right around week 12 when Mike McDaniel gets fired, I think that's what we need to do.
Andrew Erickson
I don't know if Waller's gonna make it to week 12. I mean, the guy got signed and it was immediately put on the pup and never practiced.
Joey P
Well, if only somebody was trying to save you guys from Darren Waller a couple years ago. Some handsome bald fellow. All right, let's get to Xavier Worthy here, our next sel. Pat, walk me through. Xavier Worthy in three words this year.
Pat Fitz Morris
Dense Rashee's value. And I'm kind of amazed at how people have looked at Rasheed Rice. Like he's going to go back to when he plays. He's eventually going to be just right back to where he was as a rookie or the early part of last year. Like, Xavier Worthy came on with a vengeance late last season. His last eight games playoffs included 50 catches, so better than 100 catch pace for a full regular season. No, he's not going to do that. And granted he was running like, fewer, you know, deep posts and flies and like fewer Vertical routes and playing a little bit more of the Rasheed Rice roll. But like it was not a one for one. He was not playing the exact Rasheed Rice roll. Worthy is just good. He's going to earn more targets than like Marquez Valdez, Scantling and Justin Watson and Skymore and the guys Rashid Rice used to be playing with a wide receiver earned. So like I don't know. Worthy is going to have a great season himself. But like people have been overdrafting Rasheed Rice. Even factoring in the suspense even this weekend too.
Joey P
You saw like his draft stock draft dropped, excuse me, 7.9 spots. I thought it should have been more than that. Like he was still going the top 36 wide receivers and for a guy missing six games already and that's before an injury or before something else. I'm just saying like six weeks, that's almost half, almost half of your fantasy football regular season. That's a lot too rich for my blood. But what about Andrew Erickson when it comes to Xavier Worthy?
Andrew Erickson
Second year breakout for Xavier Worthy. And I think that we're going to see at week one. I think that the Chiefs have been bombarding us all off season with got to bring back the deep ball. Got to bring back the deep ball. You know, maybe who's going to play a role in that? Maybe the guy they drafted in the first round last year, Xavier Worthy. And I get that the deep ball with Mahomes last year didn't connect, it didn't click. But why can't that get better in year two? And I think that given the fact that Rice is going to miss the first six weeks, Deborah Worthy is going to eat. They're going to give him every single opportunity that he should get in this offense, especially down the field. So I think we're going to see fireworks and it would not surprise me at all if the first play the Chiefs run against the Chargers in Brazil to get the fans going. Hard play action bomb to exhibit where the 80 yard touchdown.
Joey P
All right, we shall see. Hopefully that turf is good enough that nobody slips and falls this time. Andrew Erickson. Let's talk about another wide receiver. This one of the New England Patriots, Stefan Diggs.
Andrew Erickson
Give me three words on Stefan old ACL injury. I think that Diggs is in a situation where he was being drafted as a pretty good value. I just don't think that he's going to offer any difference making from a fantasy perspective this season. I think that he's fine. I think he's a wide receiver three at best. I Just don't think the upside with him unless he runs extremely hot on touchdowns, like if he scores double the touchdowns. But I don't think we're going to see a lot of yards after the catch. I think it's going to be, hey, he's reliable, he's got good hands, converts third downs. Maybe a better real life receiver than actual one for fantasy football because I just don't imagine like Drake May is not. I don't think they want Drake May to necessarily drop back and throw 45 times a game. Patriot Diva is going to be good. Drake May, he's going to use his legs. That takes away passing attempts from the overall offense. And I still think that there are other pieces here. Again, Henderson, the running backs in general. Hunter Henry I think is gonna be a bigger factor in the red zone than most people are giving credit for and maybe some of these other young receivers. Javario Douglas I don't think is a zero. I think Kyle Williams is a lot of talent and he offers juice on the outside. The thing with Diggs is the Patriots offense needs juice and like that's not what he can offer now at 31 years old coming off an ACL injury. He's consistent, he's reliable, but I don't think he has the juice to really be a big difference maker in fantasy.
Joey P
How dare you pass over Keisha Butte. How dare you, Andrew Erickson. All right, Pat Fitzmorris, give me a.
Pat Fitz Morris
Little bit more hope for Stefan Diggs, May's best friend.
Joey P
Okay, I like that.
Pat Fitz Morris
Like, yeah, I mean, it was a clean ACL tear. Guys come back from that when they don't have other ligament damage or meniscus damage. We have seen NFL players like make pretty rapid returns and be kind of back to what they were before the injury in a lot of cases. And like, I think Diggs is going to be the number one target earner by a wide margin on this team. I think he's going to be really good and I know he is not the same player he was when he got to Buffalo in 2020, but when he did get to Buffalo in 2020, it's hard to think back to that time, but people still, a lot of people still thought Josh Allen was a jabroni at the time. And Josh Allen set the world on Fire in 2020 and Stefan Diggs led the league in catches and yardage that year. I don't expect that sort of impact, but he is going to help Drake May take the leap this year.
Joey P
Let's talk a little bit About a player that I've been drafting a lot towards the end of draft season who's coming in extreme value, Debo Samuel. Now the Washington commanders, Pat Fitz Morris, give me three words on Debo Fitz.
Pat Fitz Morris
Cliffs style. And Cliff Kingsbury has gotten a lot of grief for his horizontal passing game. And who fits a horizontal passing game better than a player like Debo Samuel with his catch and run ability? So I think this is one of the best landing spots Debo could have had after leaving San Francisco.
Joey P
If Debo gets more carries in week one than Crosby Merritt, people are going to be jumping off rooftops, Pat. Jumping off rooftops.
Pat Fitz Morris
We didn't even talk about him as another ration. It's a five way backfield. Joe.
Joey P
Just saying. It's not like Deebo isn't comfortable back there. Andrew Erickson, give me a couple words. Spare me some time here.
Andrew Erickson
When it comes to Deebo, quintessential sell high. We've seen this before in Cliff Kingsburg's offense where it starts out really hot out of the gates and then in the second half of the season you hit the cliff Cliff that we always talk about from a content perspective. That's great.
Joey P
Wow.
Andrew Erickson
And you give the idea that McLaren has missed so much of that training camp. Now they have him back obviously after signing the extension, but we've seen this before with guys that hold out. Even Jamar Chase last year after he held out to get his new contract, he showed up Week one and he was not ready to go like he was out there running routes, but he did not put up an impressive stat line. So I expect McLaurin to struggle production wise to open the year and I think that's going to benefit Debo significantly. But once McLaurin gets a couple games under his belt, the commander's offense kind of involves him a little bit more, gets back to what they saw from last year. I think you see Deebo's production also kind of decrease. So I think that if you drafted him late, you take advantage of him having a monster yards after the catch play in Week 1 against the New York Giants and you cash out for a lot of volume because we've seen Debo fall off significantly in the second half of the season like last year, and he also has a very long injury track record.
Joey P
Okay, some interesting words there to grow on. Let's get to Matthew golden and we'll finish out the wide receivers. Andrew Erickson, we'll start with you.
Andrew Erickson
Golden opportunity. All the packers wide receivers are hurt except for Matthew Golden. It seemingly so He's a first round pick and I get that the numbers he put at Texas were not or they didn't completely stand out, but I think that if you watched him play and you just look at how reliable he was, he always showed up in the biggest moments. Like that's really what the packers really needed the most. Not this necessarily alpha target earner, which Matthew golden is not, but someone that was reliable that could go up and make a catch on third down, catch a touchdown when you need it to convert. So as his team looks to make a Super bowl run, I think Matthew Golden's going to play a massive role in that as the packers number one wide receiver this season. All right.
Joey P
The low hanging fruit with a golden opportunity, Pat Fitz Morris coming around finally here at the end to Matthew Golden.
Pat Fitz Morris
So my three words for Matthew golden are stats versus film, because I think he's a really interesting test case. A guy who was a top 15 overall prospect for some of the respected draft analysts like Daniel Jeremiah, Dane Brugler, Mel Kuiper Jr. But for the people who do like prospect modeling, there were a lot of red flags because his college production until the very end when he kind of lit things on fire after Isaiah Bond was injured, like, hadn't been very good. He was definitely not anything close to a first round prospect going into 2024 and came on really strong late. So it's going to be interesting to see whether the stats guys or the film guys are right about Golden.
Joey P
All right, let's see who's right or wrong about the quarterbacks here. Let's start with a big one here, Dak Prescott. Pat, give me three words or less on Dak.
Pat Fitz Morris
2025, the NFC's Burrow. I like it. He is the Joe Burrow of the nfc. A very good pocket passer with a terrific pair of wide receivers and a terrible defense that is going to thrust him into a lot of shootouts.
Joey P
Like it, no run game, bad defense. All he has to do is stay healthy. Right. Andrew Erickson, what do you have for Dakota?
Andrew Erickson
Overrated, over and rated, I should say, for Dakota because that makes it three words for me. So I understand, like, the comparison. They're gonna throw so much. It's gonna be great. 300 yards every single week. This offensive line's not that good. Like, that's my big concern with Dallas is that the offensive line is not the same offensive line we've seen from Big D in the past seasons where Dak has been a top five fantasy quarterback. So you look at all the weapons they're all the receivers, the pass catchers. Remember Caleb Williams and all his pass catchers and weapons last year? And what made that team struggle was because the offensive line was a mess. So that's my biggest concern with Dak Prescott. And yes, I understand him as an appeal as one of these late round or back end fantasy QB1s, but he doesn't run anymore. So like that's why I can't wrap my mind around him and comparing him to Joe Burrow. Joe Burrow is the best pocket passer in the NFL right now. So maybe a couple years ago Dak was on that same level but. But again he missed half of the season last year. He was not good last year either. Like all of his numbers are going to sighting from 2023, 2024 was not good for him and he was throwing a lot last year too. So I just have concerns about the offensive line and the fact that he doesn't offer any value as a rusher.
Joey P
All right, so those are the words on Dak. Let's talk about Caleb Williams. Andrew Erickson, give me three words on him.
Andrew Erickson
Coast type sleeper Caleb Williams. Ben Johnson's there to help fix him out. They improve the offensive line. He still has good wide receivers and tight ends to throw the ball to and there's depth here. So if someone gets hurt or banged up, you have guys that can step up and step into bigger roles. So I think that even if Caleb Williams isn't a top five quarterback in 2025, I think that he's going to improve dramatically compared to his rookie season.
Joey P
Pat, what are your thoughts on Caleb Williams in year two?
Pat Fitz Morris
Ben fixes him and Joey P. I know you don't agree and I'm not guaranteeing a Ben fixes him because we've talked about this and how Caleb is a wild cult back there and can he, you know, do the quick drops and get the ball out on time there? There's some questions about that and he didn't really do that in the preseason in some cases. But like I, I guess I do have faith in Ben Johnson to sort of tame Caleb's worst instincts and get him to play on schedule.
Joey P
I hope so. I'd like to see it. I like a feel good story as much as the next guy. I don't think it's gonna happen. My three words would be Tyson Bajint. Pivot. That's what I think we're gonna say. Yeah, you watch, you watch. Like I just, I think it might get ugly at some point where and frustrating at some point, I just think Caleb doesn't fit the kind of system that I think he wants to run. And I think it's going to be very interesting and we're going to be in that cycle yet again where, you know, Bears are bad. They draft a quarterback, that quarterback doesn't excel, coach gets fired, new coach comes in, they draft a quarterback, that team doesn't play well, they fire the coach, new coach comes in. It's been going around for years. Yeah, you go back to Mitch Trubisky, you can go through this. You go, Justin Fields, Caleb Williams, it's all gonna just, it's gonna. The cycle just continues. It's the circle of life in Chicago. I think it's going to be the same way. J.J. mcCarthy, I have higher expectations for. I think the Vikings are gonna win this division. But what does Pat Fitzmaurice, the cheesehead, think of J.J. mcCarthy? That's what I'm dying to know in three words or less.
Pat Fitz Morris
Pat thrives in ecosystem. Just as we had questions about whether Sam Darnold would be a successful starting quarterback, like there are questions about whether McCarthy is going to be a decent starter for Minnesota. Kevin o', Connell, just the guy's one of the brightest offensive minds in the league and they have bolstered their offensive line, the middle of their offensive line and he's got. But Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, once the suspension ends, T.J. hawkinson, Adam Thielen, ample pass catching weaponry, everything's in place for JJ McCarthy to have a solid first season as a starter.
Joey P
Okay, JJ McCarthy, those are good words from Pat. Andrew, what do you have?
Andrew Erickson
Second half surge for J.J. mcCarthy. I think that's going to take some time for him to kind of get acclimated again. He has not played a real NFL game yet and this is basically his rookie season. So the first time that he'll step onto an NFL field in a real game, that matters. Monday Night Football at the Chicago Bears and the Vikings have a very weird schedule where they're get playing a prime time game on the road. His first game, they have two international games in the first five weeks of the season and he's getting Jordan Addison back after a couple miss games due to suspension. So I think after that bye week, which I believe is week six for the Minnesota Vikings, I think post bye week, you start to see them put a little bit more on JJ McCarthy. I think to start the year it's going to be let's lean on the run game, we bolster the interior offensive line, we got two Great backs between Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason. We can feed these guys. I just don't expect them to put it all on him, especially with Addison out and Justin Jefferson, who's missed all of training camp with his hamstring injury. Like, don't put so much pressure on the kid right out of the gates when you don't have to.
Joey P
All right, that'll do it for the quarterbacks, but let's talk a little tight end before we get out of here. And let's start with a well known one. Travis Kelsey, controversial here at this stage of his career, certainly has lost a step. But how much of a step has he lost in Andrew Erickson's mind? That's the question. Give me Travis Kelsey's 2025 in three words.
Andrew Erickson
Andrew, don't blame me because I told you not to draft Travis Kelsey. There are other titans that you should draft. Again, I don't necessarily hate the proponent of him being a serviceable fantasy tight end this year, but when I see him going in the range of Tyler Warren and Tucker Kraft, I'm just not taking Travis Kelce over those guys. So that's the way I see it with Kelsey. I think that he can be serviceable. And if he, if Mahomes has that touchdown bounce back, I think that Kelsey can benefit from that. But, yeah, I'm not. I am.
Joey P
Okay, Kelsey, now I'm going to ask because I know sometimes Andrew stumbles into genius. You know that's a Taylor Swift song, right? Don't blame me.
Pat Fitz Morris
It is.
Andrew Erickson
It.
Pat Fitz Morris
Is it real?
Joey P
Look, I live in a house with two teenage girls. I'm telling you right now, my daughters will be the first people to, like, yell at me if I didn't get this right. Don't blame me 2017. I, I googled just to be sure don't blame me Love made me crazy if it didn't, you ain't doing it right, Taylor Swift. So I thought you were just being really cheeky there and you slipped in a perfect, like three words there. But once again, Andrew Erickson stumbling into genius. I knew that's what it was. I knew it was too good to be true. All right, Pat Fitzmaurice, let's get to Travis Gillson. Three words for you. Damn it, Andrew, I was gonna give you so much credit.
Andrew Erickson
No, I mean, of course I put it there because it's a Taylor Swift.
Joey P
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, but I, I'm looking at, I'm like, wow, Andrew, really? He. He. He did the thing. No, he didn't.
Andrew Erickson
I looked at the show sheet first time all offseason. I actually filled it out the right way.
Joey P
You know what you should do? You should film a video now for Social with that song over it with Travis Kelce and see how it does. Just see. See what happens. Don't blame me. All right. I'm gonna keep reading the lyrics for this song while Pat gives me three words on Travis.
Pat Fitz Morris
Kelsey not washed yet.
Joey P
Okay.
Pat Fitz Morris
We saw him still get target and catch volume last year. He would have had 100 catches if he had played in the Chiefs final regular season game. But the efficiency kind of cratered. I don't necessarily think the efficiency stays in the gutter. Like, I just. I think the Chiefs offense is going to be a lot better this year. Like, they fixed the offensive line. I think Kelsey's gonna get a big volume spike early in the year with Rishi Rice suspended. I just think things are gonna be good. He wants to be in the best shape of his life. Joe. He's a year away from getting married. Erickson, didn't you want to look like you were in the best shape of your life for wedding pictures and everything when you got married? So, like, you know, he's gonna be working out like a madman. Ready for the season. Ready for. Ready for the wedding. To tail.
Joey P
That's right. So gotta get in wedding shape. Andrew knows all about the wedding shape.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah, but I will say that looking like you're in shape by actually versus being in shape are two different things. You can look a. Aesthetically like, yeah, you look like you're fit. And then when you actually do something athletic, you're like, no, I'm not fit actually at all. It's all fake.
Joey P
Also married a girl named Taylor. Just saying. Just a lot of. A lot of parallels. A lot of things happening here. A lot of things coming together here on the show. This is what the Swifties do. They connect all these different things. Right. Well, it was 13 days since Pat Fitz Morris's last podcast, and if you look back, that he was 13 times higher than Andrew Erickson was on this player. It's going to be like that. It's going to. People are going to go down the rabbit hole. We can only hope maybe this show will get half as many views as the New Heights podcast did on that. We'll see. It's from the Reputation album, though, Just so you know, Andrew, Reputation album. Let's get to two more tight ends here. Tyler Warren, a guy we all have a lot of. I think cautious optimism are on. Excuse me. In 2025. So Pat, what are your three words for Tyler Warren?
Pat Fitz Morris
Kittle, the sequel. I mean he is another George Kittle. Like he is an absolute Tasmanian devil after the catch. I cannot wait to watch Tyler Warren play football this Sunday.
Joey P
Me too. He was fun to watch on Saturdays last year, so. All right, Andrew Erickson, give me three words on Tyler Warren.
Andrew Erickson
Alpha tight end. One. I think that the.
Joey P
Okay.
Andrew Erickson
We're gonna watch one half of the Colts offense and realize that he should have been a top five ranked tight end all draft season.
Joey P
I agree.
Andrew Erickson
The Dolphins are so like they talk about the Dolphins. This is like one of the. I think. Was it you, right? You called them soft. No, you called the Bill soft I think too, but.
Joey P
Oh, the Bills are soft too. Yes, but I did call the Bills.
Andrew Erickson
But the Dolphins, I remember they had that, that joint practice the Lions and reports were saying this was the most one sided joint practice I've ever seen in my entire life. The Lions just destroyed the Miami Dolphins. So yeah, I could definitely see that happening in week one for Tyler Warren.
Joey P
Yeah, Tyler Warren I think is a beast, man. But we also thought Kyle Pitts was going to be a beast back in the day. So let's end on this one because I thought this would be entertaining. Kyle Pitts, Andrew Erickson, 2025 in three words. Let's go.
Andrew Erickson
Trade me, please. I think that's what he needs. I think that he needs to get off the stock.
Joey P
Oh, the change of scenery, that's what he needs.
Andrew Erickson
I think that he still has the town. I just don't think it's happening on Atlanta.
Joey P
Okay, Pat, Fitz Morris, what do you think about Kyle Pitts? Here we go. Let's end the show on a high note. Question mark.
Pat Fitz Morris
Hot waiver pickup. Are you ready to talk about bidding on Kyle Pitts?
Joey P
I am.
Pat Fitz Morris
Our waiver show next month. Derek Brown show. Yeah. Ready for it.
Joey P
It's also a Taylor Swift song. Are you read it saves everything there.
Pat Fitz Morris
Hot waver Pickup is a Taylor Swift song.
Joey P
Yes. Well, yes, it should be. It might be. I mean by the time she's done, she's very prolific. So I give give you all the Brads and Chads in the comments. Getting really mad that we've mentioned this many times. Just relax guys. It's fine, it's fine. We're having some fun here. The season hasn't started yet. But Pat, I mean there's a, there's a world where you could see it happening. It's not like he's bereft of talent. You know, he came in a league thousand yards right out of the gate as a rookie struggle for touchdown.
Andrew Erickson
Is this hot waiver wire pickup like the Isaiah likely hot waiver wire pickup from week?
Joey P
What do you think?
Pat Fitz Morris
Justified. This will be more justified. Look, I mean I know now you can't like you know, you just stumble into tight ends who finished overall TE1 rookie tight ends like they're all over the place but at the time Kyle Pitts was the first tight end, rookie tight end have a thousand yard season in 60 years when he came into the league. He's still a plus plus athlete at the position and like it is a skinny target tree in Atlanta with basically Drake London, Darnell Mooney, Kyle Pitts like things are in place. I know there have been, you know some semi plausible excuses for why he hasn't popped the last couple of years. Injuries, unfamiliar unfamiliarity with the Zach Robinson offense last year. I think things click for him this year. And like Michael Penix, he made three wide receivers at Washington like draft worthy and we've seen that like you know, none of them have really lived up to expectations except maybe Jalen McMillan last year in a small window of opportunity, Michael Pennix was a kingmaker in Washington. Like I think he can do that for Kyle Pitts this year.
Joey P
I hope so. I have him in a dynasty league where I also ironically have Travis Kelsey. So I'd love to pass the baton at tight end to Kyle Pitts finally. I feel good about it, but we'll see how that is. Give me your favorite three words or less on any of these players. Drop them in the comments below. We love hearing from Everybody in the YouTube world. We're just hours away from the season starting now, so very exciting times. We love hearing from you. Remember when you drop your comments below, you might win yourself some free stuff. And we've got that that custom XL championship turnover chain available for you from Trophy Smack right now the number one destination for epic fantasy football trophies. So drop your comments. Andrew Erickson
Could you be more specific?
Joey P
When it's cravinient. Okay. Like a freshly baked cookie made with real butter, available right down the street at a.m. p. M. Or a savory breakfast sandwich I can grab in just a second at a.m. p.m.
