Guaranteed Human welcome in everybody to fantasy pros. This is the fantasy football podcast. It is me, Joey P, Joe P. Zapia and today Scott Bogman and I are going to look at some dynasty rank risers. That's right because the end of the season matters, the postseason matters and of course redraft leagues are going to go quiet for a while but dynasty leagues are heating up. We're going to have rookie drafts in just a few months from now. We're to going got the real NFL draft but there's opportunities now to make some acquisitions on some players whose stock is starting to rise because of what we saw at season's end in 2025 slash 2026. So Scott Bogman, let's kick things off here with the number one guy on your list of four players making their way up the ranks in dynasty world.
A
Yeah, Kyle Managai, RB30 and PPR as the seventh round rookie. So very, you know, very good start to his career here with DeAndre Swift with him in Chicago. I know you and I were huge on the Nonang guy coming out of Ruth.
B
We were mananguis.
A
Yeah.
B
There you go. I'm sorry everybody.
A
Oh lordy.
B
I'll never speak again.
A
But look, Manangai had a great audition for a full time starting gig and DeAndre Swift is a unrestricted free agent 27 but he represents a $7.47 million cap space savings if they do cut him before the season starts. Now that would be the third highest savings on the roster for the Bears for 2026 and they are starting at slightly over the cap going in here. We know running back is a position that is very volatile in terms of, you know, contracts guys sticking with it. Look, DeAndre Swift and non guy worked so maybe DeAndre Swift gets another year. But Tremaine Edmonds saves them over 15 million. Cole Comet saves him 8.4 this year but he would also be on the books for next year as well. So we'll see what they end up doing in terms of the contracts and stuff. But Manon Guy showed that he can catch the ball out of the backfield. He ran hard between the tackles. I think this dude did a little bit of everything. And if they are looking to save some money, I think that he could be the guy here. I mean he had 18 catches for 164 yards on 30 receptions and 169 carries for 783 yards. I don't know why those numbers couldn't double if they thought that they, you know, if they do get rid of DeAndre Swift, so he's a guy I feel like you could buy now. You have a nice floor with him as an RB2 on his own team. But if they do cut DeAndre Swift, you might see a quick rise in his value.
B
And even if they don't, that means 2027 could be his job anyway. So I mean it's still long term Dynasty, good time to buy. I actually traded back in, I want to say to the fifth round because he was still floating around there in my Dynasty league last year and I was like, oh Kyle Manon guy's still there. I'm trading in. I traded, I think like a fourth round, you know this in this draft because I didn't love this coming crop this year anyway that much to go in to get Mananga because I really want to make sure I solidified him on that roster knowing Ben Johnson was going to be there and what his upside could be in an offense if he turned it around. Next guy on our list is a really interesting one. He's a Jacksonville Jaguar wide receiver. It's Parker Washington. Now we just heard news today that Travis Hunter is still going to play on both sides of the ball. The Jags actually came out and said that, which I think is really interesting. Just kind of out in the ether on today when we were recording this. But I'm where you are, Bogs. If anything, I think it suppresses value even more and we saw Parker Washington really show up last year. So although Myers is there, Hunter's there. I wonder if potentially there is a trade of Brian Thomas Jr. This off season where somebody comes knocking and maybe, just maybe there becomes a space here and a pathway for Parker Washington in 2026 and beyond. What are your thoughts?
A
I think the only way that Travis Hunter sees significant time on the offensive side is if they do trade Brian Thomas Jr. And if that's the plan. I think the plan is also to trade Brian Thomas Jr. Because of what Parker Washington did on the field this year. This dude finished as wide receiver 27 in PPR. Now was with BTJ Travis Hunter for a big chunk of the year and then they traded for Jacoby Myers and extended him right? So he still finished as a wide receiver three, a high end wide receiver three with those guys on the field with him this season and the the finish of his season was the best part, right? Wide receiver one in week 12, in week 16, week 17, week 18 and last week in the wild card he had 12 targets, seven catches, 107 yards and a touchdown. So his stock has risen at the end of the season here. Travis Hunter, you know, it's nice that they say that he's going to be on the offensive side if you invested in him last year. But this was always kind of the worry about him is that he could get pushed to the defensive side of the ball. Well, if they do keep Brian Thomas Jr. They're not going to bench Parker Washington. I feel like for anybody, the dude is working. So it's probably going to be specific packages that Travis Hunter comes in on and it's probably going to be a low snap percentage because you have three dudes that are great. But I think Brian Thomas Jr gets traded before the draft and I think that's how you work out this problem. You go with Jacoby Myers, you go with Parker Washington is your main two. This Brenton Strange came back in week 13 as well. So like he did this with all of their targets. Travis ETN obviously catches a lot of balls out of the backfield as well. He did this with everybody there and healthy outside of Travis Hunter at the end of the year. So I think that Parker Washington has become a must have asset for the Jaguars. And, and I don't know that he's being viewed like that right now. I think he's. You could kind of get him as a throw in on some of these trades right now. Maybe a little more than a throw in, but it would be like, all right, well look, if we're uneven, throw me back Parker Washington, I'll give you a fifth, you know, something like that. I think he is not being viewed as he properly should right now.
B
I think the Buffalo Bill should knock on the door for Brian Thomas Jr. That's what I think.
A
Pittsburgh Steelers, a bunch of teams too. Yeah, there's a ton of teams that need whiteouts.
B
Yeah, look at a great rookie season last year. Didn't work out. Some health issues, but also just different offense, different head coach. Who knows, you know, the idiosyncrasies that go on in the locker room and what's happening there. But certainly a crowded room right now that needs to be sorted through. Another crowded wide receiver room that you saw a guy emerge in 2025 was Alec Pierce. He's a big fantasy darling. I know there's a lot of flashes of what could be a big upside player in 2026. But there's also big questions too. Who is the quarterback? When is that quarterback healthy? A lot of questions there, which to me actually keeps Alec Pierce's stock even though it's rising, still in check for acquisition. Do you agree?
A
I have good news for you. Alec Pierce is an unrestricted free agent. So he is going to be searching for a new home now. And number one in a dot, he played in 12 weeks this season. He finished as a wide receiver one or two in seven of those weeks. And, and there's tons of wide receiver needy teams with cap space. We're just going through some of them. The Titans, right, you need another presence. They're going to get Calvin Ridley back and I like DK in the slot, but that outside spot could use a little bit of an upgrade. Las Vegas, right, going to have a new quarterback, a new coach, a new everything. They need that outside presence. You have Brock Bowers, you have Trey Tucker. I think you're doing okay in your other spots. Washington, the jets, your Patriots could use a deep threat like this. My Steelers. He could go back to Indy with whoever is.
B
See that's the assumption I'm working under is that Indy wants to be his.
A
Best work with with Philip Rivers with his, you know, 44 year old arm. So he's not just a vertical threat, it's what he does best. But the dude did his best work with Philip Rivers. So I think he can work at any length of the field. But he led the league in a dot. He's a deep threat, he's a big target. He's, you know, Mike Evans is the perfect model of what Alec Pierce wants to be. He's never going to be Mike Evans, but he could easily be a low end wide receiver too because he's a deep threat, he can make a big play and he's huge. So he scores a bunch of touchdowns. So I just think that he is being undervalued right now because of the question marks in Indy. But he may not even be there. He could, he could be the guy in Buffalo catching deep balls from Josh Allen. That would be a sick combo right there.
B
That would. Buffalo's got to do something, man. They need some help out there before we get to the next game on our list. And also I've got a bonus guy I want to throw out there to Bogs. I picked him up in a couple leagues as a streamer down the stretch here, let's talk about A.J. barner of the Seattle Seahawks and what his future might look like.
A
I think A.J. barner, this is a perfect time to go and acquire him because he didn't finish as a tight end one, he finished as tight end 14, right. They have Elijah Arroyo, who they drafted last season, who they like, who's probably going to have a more expanded role next season. But AJ Barner just kept chugging along at the end of the year and he got better as the year went on. And next year is going to be his second year with Sam Donald. Right. He had five tight end one finishes this season, four of them he scored touchdowns in. But remember that game against the rams? He had 10 catches for 70 yards. So, you know, looking what he did at the end to a couple of tight end two finishes. But wide receiver 10 in week 17, wide receiver nine in week 16. He was, you know, tight end one weeks two, four and five. So he had production through the beginning, the middle and the end of the season. He became, he's the tush push guy for the Seattle Seahawks as well. He added a rushing touchdown. I think that is just going to get expanded in the off season as well. So I just really like what AJ Barner did here. I know that Kubiak has a lot of, you know, team sniffing around him for potential head coach opening. So he may be gone, but whoever.
B
He'S getting a job. There's too many openings for him not to get a job.
A
I think so too. But whoever comes in has to see what A.J. barnard did and know that his role can expand. So I think that right now he can be gotten for a song. And this is when you need to acquire a lot of these guys before, you know, there's hype with Alec Pierce when he signs with Buffalo or somebody else. Right. When before the hype hits these guys, I think this is the perfect time to grab them if your league is active.
B
All right, Boggs, question for you. BRENTON Strange or A.J. barner, who's the more interesting dynasty tight end for you?
A
I like, I like Barner because I think while he is touchdown dependent, I think he's more touchdown reliable as well.
B
Okay, good.
A
I would, I would say AJ Barner.
B
Slightly a little less target competition Too, Potentially.
A
Yeah. And nobody. So.
B
Yeah, well, maybe. Maybe my boy Tori Horton will pick up things a little bit. We'll see what happens. Gotta stay healthy. All right, one more for me. I want to throw out there as a bonus. So it's four players, but I'm gonna give you a fifth one. Jalen Coker of the Carolina Panthers. I think Jalen Coker, guy, small school, you know, small buzz. He has shown you some flashes. He's had some injuries. He's had some inconsistent quarterback play. But I think as after the Panthers made the playoffs this past year and Bryce Young had a good performance against the Rams, I don't think they're going to make any quarterback changes this offseason. It's going to be Bryce Young. Canalis will be back, and that's good for continuity because if Coker can stay healthy and Bryce Young can continue to make incremental strides, I think you've seen that Coker is kind of that heavy target. Especially now that you have Ted McMillan in that offense. He gets so much attention. It allows Coker to work in the slot, to work underneath, to do other things. And to me, that's another guy that it wasn't a huge season for him, but he did have some moments towards the end and of course in the playoffs as well in that first round exit where Jalen Coker, to me is a guy to watch, a guy whose stock is rising and a guy I want to acquire in my dynasty leagues. Good thing I already have him. Boggs. But you have any 2 cents on Coker you want to add? Because that's one that I want to throw out there for the people and I wanted to hear what your feedback was.
A
Coker is a great one. Right. And there's a lot of these. Fitzy and I just did a long show with Worm. We both picked five guys rising up boards right now, so there's a lot of guys rising up boards. But Coker is specifically a really good one because it looks like Leguette has just not worked right. Yeah, first round pick, it looks like Coker is probably a little bit more talented than him, so they're going to continue rolling him with Tetterola McMillan. That's a good compliment as well. You had a tight end over there, and that whole situation could get really dangerous because they have two good backs, they have a good O line. They need, you know, a tight end. Another good target. It could be Coker. Just stay on the field and, you know, if Bryce Young can make it all work together, which seems like maybe we're getting there. He could be a real danger moving forward, so I like him in addition to the names that we've already mentioned here.
