But Scott Bogman, certainly an eventful week. 17. You weren't the only Steeler fan that I know that told me before the Steelers game that the Steelers were going to lose to the Cleveland Browns. And lose they did. Were you frustrated that Kenneth Gainwell was open on that last play and he didn't even see him?

Of course. Yeah. Why are we throwing MVS has no hands. He's endless. And I also thought that might have been PI at the end, but I agree. Playing about calls, you know, you get some, you don't get some. And after last week, you know, can't expect to be bailed out two weeks in a row. So, you know, just horrible, horrific, terrible game planning from Arthur Smith. Miles Garrett was probably right when he said, hey, look, they were so concerned with me not getting a sack that they lost the game. Which, you know is absurd to lose to Cleveland specifically to be losing in Cleveland. Every game they tied one game in Cleveland, since Ben Roethlisberger is retired, can't win in Cleveland, which is just unbelievable because he absolutely owned the state of Ohio. So sick of this. Sick of this offense. Sick. Aaron Rodgers. I am also sick with the Steelers flu So.

Well, I am sick of losing in championships. I lost to you two weeks ago by Pukinaku. Is massive game. And then I lost the Flex League championship to Derrick Henry yesterday. And that was very frustrating because I would have won probably had Derek Henry not had four touchdowns. But what an incredible performance. No, no.

[Scott Bogman]

Yeah. So it is. Well, I'm saying I, I lost to Derek this week in the Flex League Championship. Very upset about that. That was.

[Scott Bogman]

I didn't make it to Flex Championship. Even though I was first in my league by a million miles, I did not make it to the championship. And thank God Welsh has the flu because I lost to him in our home league too. Unless Matthew Stafford has 60 points tonight, if that happens. Not gonna happen.

[Joey P]

But what a concept. Hand the ball to Derrick Henry in December and good things happen. Hey, look at that shocker here that you get all that going on there, but, you know, not the only thing going on, obviously. There was a lot of historical things happening yesterday, too. Trey McBride, 117 receptions for a tight end, the most ever there. I saw some fun facts, too. There's kind of flying in there. You know, the jets lead receiver is this year.

[Scott Bogman]

Ooh, it's got to be Bree hall, right?

[Joey P]

It's not. It's still Garrett Wilson, but he hasn't caught a ball since October 12th. My God.

[Scott Bogman]

Oh, Lordy. And I tell you what, you know, if you want to get down to the bottom of the barrel, this is, you know, our point last week that we were talking about on this show was that we need two bye weeks. And it's pretty obvious. Look at what Max Prosemer did, even though they won. And Chris Ola Dokin, 66 yards like these. This is what happens when you don't have enough bye weeks and these injuries start to pile up at the premier position in the NFL. It's not. Mac Jones is great and he's backing up Brock Purdy. A lot of it is. Well, Gardner Minshews hurt. We're down to Chris Oladokin, who's never had a start in the NFL. We're down to, you know, Duke and whoever it is.

[Joey P]

I mean, can he pick it again this week, too?

[Scott Bogman]

It has been a Geno Smith and.

[Joey P]

Shout out to Lawrence the whole year, who beat me in Flex League. He had a very interesting draft. He went heavy RB and then Just took a bunch of like crap quarterbacks. And you know what, that was the strategy this year because you just had a bunch of quarterbacks to choose from. None of them were great, but it was just, you know, that's the 20, 25 hit was just, you know, so many quarterbacks coming in and out at all times. But look, you know, looking back on the week two, the one thing the silver lining for me was watching Drake may obliterate the jets because that's always fun for me. I haven't seen a good ass kicking of the jets like that from the Patriots in a while of that magnitude. Like, that's old school kind of stuff. And I loved it. And I gotta say, like, you know, the Giants are fighting. Unfortunately, they shouldn't have been like, they're going, you know, they're trying to win. The jets look like they just had no plan. They like, I don't think Aaron Glenn's gonna get past this one year. I think that you look at even the Giants, they're fighting. You look at the Tennessee Titans blame.

[Scott Bogman]

Aaron Glenn for the roster that they have.

[Joey P]

I blame Aaron Glenn for the effort I think that you're getting and the game plan that you're getting. And I understand the roster is no good, I get that. But the Titans roster is not great. You know, you look around the league, there's a lot of rosters right now that aren't great or injuries have destroyed them too.

[Scott Bogman]

I don't know that I disagree that Aaron Glenn hasn't coached well this year, but I do overall disagree with bringing in a guy with a horrific roster that you know is going to be bad and then saying, well, you're fired because we didn't have a good record. Right. Like, I think if you're going to hire someone for a position in a team that's rebuilding like this, you're going to. You got to give him three seasons. That's my kind of like, give him three. And if you want to say, hey, look, this didn't work even one and a half, if they're having the same effort with a lot of changes next year and they start out 0 and 8 or 1 and 6 or whatever it should, looks just as miserable as it did this year and you spent a lot of money and made improvements, then, yeah, get rid of them. But you just cannot expect anybody. I don't care if you're Vince Lombardi, you're not winning with this roster. It's awful.

[Joey P]

It is.

[Scott Bogman]

I, I think you might be right, but I just disagree with that complete impatience. If you hired the guy, you got to give him the legs to kind of see it through for at least a couple seasons.

[Joey P]

Unless you don't think the person is capable of being a head coach, in which case, you know, that's a very difficult thing. I think you get sometimes where you take a chance on a guy who's a coordinator, and sometimes it's just like, this guy is not head coach. But I mean, Josh. But let me say this coordinator, not a good head coach.

[Scott Bogman]

Very true. Arthur Smith, Same thing. You know, like, I just not good at either.

[Joey P]

But you can.

[Scott Bogman]

I would argue. I would make that argument now as well, but. So the person that hires Aaron Glenn, then if you only give him a year and you go, yeah, we were wrong about this, who's hiring this guy? That person needs to go to. So clean house completely at that point. So I just. I'm obviously disgusted today.

[Joey P]

Yes, you are. Look, at least the Welsh isn't here to rant and rave about the 49ers performance and all the Brock Purdy dancing that went on last night. There's a lot of Brock Purdy dancing. I don't know how I feel about it. I'm. I'm looking forward to the Seattle.

[Scott Bogman]

They beat Seattle. They're the number one seed in the nfc.

[Joey P]

Yeah, but we all knew they had a soft schedule, and we all knew that. And we're gonna have a lot of factor fictions coming up. So I want everybody who's in the chat, if you have a factor fiction, drop them in. We're doing at the end of the show. But one of the factor fiction. Seth, our resident producer and Bears fan. Fact or fiction? The Bears should be in the conversation for best team in the nfc. I don't know. I don't think they are in that conversation. To me, I don't. I mean, I think all three teams in the NFC west are better than the Bears. If you ask me, if you really.

Hold my feet, who's the best team in the nfc, then I still say it's the Rams. It's the Rams.

I still think it's the Rams when healthy. I think if everybody's healthy and right for the Rams and Devonte Adams is on that field along with them, I think they have the best head coach. They have the most seasoned veteran quarterback, a quarterback that's won a Super Bowl. I always feel like Kyle Shanahan will always be Kyle Shanahan and get too cute in the wrong moments. Seattle is very impressive, but I think they're a Little untested. You know, for all the Eagles nonsense. The Eagles are a team that still finds ways to win games. Maybe it's luck. I don't know. I mean, we could look around and. And have that discussion. But I want to give credit to the Bears, and Caleb has played much better here in this last stretch in December, so I want to give him some credit because I've been tough on him. But do you think the Bears are the best team of the nfc?

[Scott Bogman]

No, but I don't. I think you might be right. It could be the Rams, but I don't think it's by a wide margin at all. I think they're all in the same bucket. I think you put the Seahawks, Rams, Eagles and Niners in the same bucket. I think those are the teams playing for your NFC title in the afc. I mean, I think it's, you know, the Patriots, Broncos.

[Joey P]

I think it's the Broncos and the Patriots. I don't fear the Buffalo Bills. I think the Patriots. Look, Drake May is. And I know it's easy to do what he did against the jets, but when you have more touchdown passes than incompletions in a game like that, that is just like. It was like a clinic of quarterback play and. And he didn't have a lot of the other weapons he's usually having, too. So, I mean, right now, I don't know if anybody's playing as good. I will say this. Texans scare me and the Jaguar scare me. Those are two teams that I think are kind of feeling that underdog spirit a little bit, like nobody sees us coming. They're very intriguing to me. Who do you think is the best team in the AFC right now? If you had to bet?

[Scott Bogman]

If I had to pick right now. It's the Pats.

[Joey P]

It is.

[Scott Bogman]

Okay.

[Joey P]

I know that's hard for you to say, too. That's got to be.

[Scott Bogman]

I hate it, especially in front of you. I despise it, so. But I would have to say that right now they've been playing great. I mean, you talk about a soft schedule. I think the Patriots have the easiest schedule in the NFL this year, don't they? Because they played. What did they finish last year? Were they last?

[Joey P]

They were last in division. Yeah, but there were many.

[Scott Bogman]

So you play a last play schedule.

[Joey P]

You have the Bears and you play.

[Scott Bogman]

Your first horrible division. I mean, yeah, the. The Dolphins twice, the jets twice is pathetic. You know, it's same thing with Pittsburgh against Cleveland and Cincy, but that's pathetic. And I think, you know, I. Something like how many. How many above 500 teams have the PAT. Speed?

[Joey P]

Not a lot, but, you know, they can only play who they put in front of you.

[Scott Bogman]

And of course, yeah, no, and they've.

[Joey P]

Won every single road game. You know, I mean, that's the other thing too.

[Scott Bogman]

Raiders, Dolphins, Steelers, Panthers, Bills, Saints, Titans, Browns, Falcons, Bucks, Jets, Bengals, Giants, Bills, Ravens, Jets.

[Joey P]

You can argue that they're untested, and that's not a bad argument. But my argument back is going to be, you know, look, they beat everybody they put in front of them. They won all these road games, which is hard to do, especially with a young quarterback. And I just think the culture of what they put together there is really interesting. Now we have Sunday Night Football coming up with the Ravens and the Steelers coming up. Before we get to that game and Bogman's thoughts on that game, because I know that's a big one, I want to also ask this question. If whoever loses that game, is that coach done there in their respective plays?

[Scott Bogman]

I think yes. First of all, and I was talking with one of my ITL guys who's a huge Ravens fan, and we were like texting back and forth and we text back like almost the exact same time, like, this is a loser leaves town match. I feel like between. It does feel coaches, but I was talking with Seth before we jumped on here live and I think the Steelers will trade Mike Tomlin. I don't think you can fire Mike Tomlin when the Cleveland job is probably going to come open. The Cincy job is probably going to come open as well. You don't want to open that Giants job.

[Joey P]

Great job.

The Giants. I think the Bucks could fire Todd Bowles.

[Joey P]

I think they're absolutely firing Todd Bowles.

[Scott Bogman]

That's where he came from. He was the defensive backs coach for the Bucks when the Steelers hired him, so. Or the DC coming back from, you know, the db.

[Joey P]

Well, he had started. Didn't he start his career with the Vikings, if memory serves? Tomlin?

[Scott Bogman]

I believe so, yeah. University of Cincinnati, very first. But yes, I meant. Yeah, yeah. I think. I think that's where he knew Brian Flores from. From the Vikings. So.

[Joey P]

Well, speaking of Tampa, we have a.

When the Steelers hired him, but I think they trade him. So I think the Giants. I think Tampa.

[Joey P]

Yeah.

I think there's a couple other jobs that might come open as well where you trade him and you get a pick back because he is under contract. So I think that that is something that would end up happening if they do decide to part ways with him, which the Steelers traditionally don't do. And they don't really care about fan input on the head coach shop. Right. And Matt Canada was the first coordinator they. They fired in season since the 60s. So firing coaches just not really in more popes since. You know.

[Joey P]

That's right. Than Steelers had 1960.

[Scott Bogman]

Twice as many head coaches, twice as.

[Joey P]

Many popes, I believe.

[Scott Bogman]

And that job's for life until you die.

[Joey P]

Yeah, there it is. There it is. Most of those popes also younger than Pete Carroll, I believe as well. Let's also talk about, you know, the. The predisposed nature of the inevitable nine and eight season that we thought that the Steelers would end up being because they are right now very close to securing that. Here's Mike Tomlin interviewed about that after the game. I miss Bill Hader on snl. God, he's so good. That one. That one sketchy to do with the puppet from Grenada. You ever see that one? I don't an SNL person, but that. That weird, like puppet everyone's like in a room together. They're all their different puppets and their different personalities is like a workshop.

Yeah, it is incredibly frustrating. And those are the memes that I've seen more than any are the 9 and 8. The AI of, you know, Mike Tomlin giving a speech of we got a shot to go nine and eight, guys. And then the Steelers subreddit all saying like, hey, look, this guy just went on vacation. He got the nine wins, his job is done. It's cruising to the end of the year at this point. So, yeah, man, it is. It's incredibly frustrating. Specifically when it looked like this team was kind of picking up. Right? But I think if DK is in the game, they win. He catches that ball. That MVS probably got interfered on at the end, but again, you can't get bailed out two weeks in a row. So just. Just gross. Let's talk about anything else, but let's help Beck out.

[Joey P]

I'm in the championship. Week 18. Yeah, she should be crying because week 18 is a horrible thing back. Nobody should be playing Week 18 for championships. Would you guys recommend dart or burrow at quarterback this week? I mean, it's pretty hard to sit Joe Burrow. I know the upside of dart And I get what that is, but he is playing the Browns. They are at home. The Giants are getting the Cowboys. I understand that matchup is better. Bogs, which way would you go?

[Scott Bogman]

I'm probably going burrow here. Like you said, it's hard to sit him. He looks really good right now. It is against Cleveland. He'll probably get sacked, and Miles Garrett's going to break the record anyway. But, you know, I, I, that. That's. I. It's really, really hard to sit burrow right now. And I think, you know, the slightest thing happens to Jackson Dart and he gets benched and Jameis is in the game, so. Or Russell, whoever.

[Joey P]

And look, the Week 18 championship, I just don't. It's not like it's news either. We just always talk about this, you know, for years and years. Like, why would you want to put all that effort in this summer of studying? Then you do your drafts, then you do all the waiver wires and the trades, the lineups, all the stuff you have to deal with the whole season, only to let it end up becoming a time where you're gonna not even know if your best players are playing necessarily, because who's sitting who and who's taking the rest of the year off. And that's very frustrating. I mean, any league you're in, just go check before you started, like, make sure the championship is not week 18, because it is brutal. And to that point, too, I don't like the playoffs starting week 14 when there's bye weeks. I also think that's a big load of nonsense. I don't like that at all. So you got to figure out a more clever playoff structure if you're going to have bigger leagues, and I understand that's part of that thing. If you expand the league, you want to have more weeks of play. I get all that, but the way the NFL is structured right now, you cannot be playing championships in Week 18. It's a terrible idea. It's just.

[Scott Bogman]

It's awful. Yeah. Yeah. Look, I know some people. You probably didn't set up your league that way. That's just who, whoever the commissioner was did it. But you got to let them know, like, we cannot be playing these in week 18.

[Joey P]

A guy I know. A guy brought over is going to be nice. All right, let's Talk a little bit about some of our takeaways from last week. My takeaway is the Bucks have to fire Todd Bowles. You think it's a barrel of worms right now? Go to rankings, man. But let's think about what's happening in college football right now.

No, you're 100% right. But think about this for a second. If New Orleans has started Shuck out of the gate, maybe they might be in this thing. I think Kellen Moore has done a phenomenal job with the Saints. With Tyler Shuck, who I, I know a lot of us, he was like on the butt of jokes. He's not anymore. He looks like the quarterback of the future. Olave is a top 10 fantasy wide receiver. Taste Some Hill at the game of his life two weeks ago and then last this past Sunday did zero, which has got to be so frustrating. And I picked him up in the league and I took me, I kept I Bogs. I had him in and out of that lineup maybe 10 times. And then eventually I was like, taste Some Hill. I was like, I can't start Taste Hill. I'm going to start Brenton Strange instead. It didn't end up mattering anyway, but my God, like the Saints have figured it out and I hate these NFC south teams. The rest of them, they can go screw. I don't want either the Panthers or the Buccaneers in the playoffs. I think it's going to be the Panthers at the end of the day. Bogs, what are your thoughts on that whole situation?

[Scott Bogman]

Oh, man, I, I, I won't bet against the Bucks. Right. Like, I, I think it's if you.

[Joey P]

Have, you've been winning money every week.

[Scott Bogman]

If you that's true. But, but I, I guess what I should say is I'm not betting on the Panthers. It's probably a little bit more accurate.

[Joey P]

But, well, it is Baker Mayfield at home. It doesn't favor it.

[Scott Bogman]

Like, whoever wins this game is getting drummed in the first round, right. Like that is happening. Both these teams are backing in. Neither one of them is playing their best football or at their peak. And we thought, okay, hey, look, the Bucks look good and they've been beat up all year. Let's see them get healthy. Well, everybody but Baker, I feel like, is healthy now, and he's the engine. And if he is working at less than 100%, the whole offense is going to implode. And that is what has been happening. So I think maybe, you know, if maybe, Maybe he gets 100% healthy before the playoffs, they can make a nice run. Defense has been playing awful as well, so I just don't really buy into either one of these teams. I think the Bucks are the better team, so I'll pick them. But whoever wins is getting smoked like the Steelers in the first round.

[Joey P]

My takeaways are still time to go nine and eight. So obviously just disgusting, like, because I thought, okay, hey, look, maybe the Steelers are peaking. We just beat Detroit, right? This is. This is a great run that's been happening here, which, by the way, you didn't highlight my. Baker on 31 1. I also got him. I did get all of these. Oh, so we gotta update that.

No big deal, but. And add two extra points for me since I got all three. The first person.

Oh, my God. So you've won it over now, so it doesn't matter. Tell Seth. Update it. It's got 19 points for Boggs now.

The. The moment for me was Chase Young just ripping the ball out of Cam Ward's hands. That was crazy. Just took the ball away from him and then carried it like a loaf of bread into the end zone. I was like, man, if anybody gets behind him, that ball is going to come out. And nobody caught up to him. So great moment there for the Saints. But, yeah, man, my takeaway is still time to go nine and eight for Pittsburgh.

[Joey P]

Yeah, certainly my favorite moment, actually was the missed. Were blocked, I guess you would say, extra point from that Buffalo game because you could feel the air go out of the balloon a little bit. And then I. Even when they scored that touchdown at the end, I was like, I just. I'm just not buying it. I'm just not buying the Buffalo Bills to win this football game. I don't know what it was the whole time. Only somehow the Eagles are going to find a way to win this football game, even though maybe they shouldn't. And they might not was 1312.

Yeah. 1312. That's what it was at the end of the day.

Well, that was actually my fact or fiction. So. Fact or fiction. That is true that when Miles Garrett said after the press conference or.

Yes, it's 100% true. Absolutely. It's not the only reason they lost. The reason they lost is no DK. Terrible offensive game plan. 100% awful. You know, and one broken play, really. The Harold Fannin touchdown, which he got hurt on. And then their whole offense imploded after that play. That was the entire game was that busted play where Kyle Duggar had no idea where the ball was and Fannin caught it and rolled into the end zone and then ended up leaving. So that ended up being the whole game. Because the Steelers can move the damn ball. So terrible offensive game plan.

I'm gonna say fact because they've been to the playoffs a couple Times now, like, this is not new to them. This will be three years in a row. So that where the Jags are like, well, you know, they're the Jags. Like, this is all new and fresh. And all of a sudden I think there's a different level that you have to kind of bring yourself up to as a team. And maybe they're capable of it, but I know the Texans are.

And I don't know, it was new and fresh for Washington last year and they went to the NFC title game.

Eventually.

But, I mean, Houston plays the Patriots and they have a bad game, they get smoked.

[Joey P]

Oh, Houston can absolutely be the Patriots. There's no doubt.

I know they can, but I'm seeing that offense just does not inspire any confidence in me. They had those two big plays against the Chargers, and after that they got stopped. So, you know, they're relying on big plays right now. I thought, hey, look, C.J. stroud looks pretty good. Second half was miserable. So just the offense for Houston is a massive question right now.

[Joey P]

Here's another one factor fiction. We see Max Crosby or Miles Garrett get traded.

[Scott Bogman]

Miles Garrett is absolutely not getting traded. Max Crosby is going to be such a crybaby that he will absolutely get traded. Trade it.

[Joey P]

And I don't think Raiders are right for trying to tank to get the quarterback. Like, they're right. The Giants, I think, screwed up here, but I understand why the Giants feel like they already have their franchise quarterbacks or they're going to have a high pick in the draft. They don't care. They're trying to win football games. That's fine.

I, I agree with you that they should be tanking. It's a smart thing to do. But I also like, if you are, if you are a coach, can you look Max Crosby in the eye when he's saying, I want to play, I'm healthy, and say, no, you can't play.

[Joey P]

Oh, that's a problem. He's going to be gone and he will give them more draft. And you know what? It's probably for the best. You know, he's. He is not a spring chicken anymore. Right? I, I think it's probably now is the time to remake this whole organization here. You have Genti, you have Bowers, you have a couple interesting pieces. I do think it's time to look ahead to the future here, and I don't think the future should be Pete Carroll either. I think that was a terrible move when it happened, but. Fernando Mendoza, conversations with Pete Carroll. I'm here for. Because I can't imagine how much positivity and oh shucks and gee whiz like you could possibly get into one conversation between those two human beings. I would like that one factor. Fiction. Puka is number one draft pick and Cook follows a second pick. I think that's fiction. I love James Cook. I got all the Cook, all the Travis atn, all the misfit running backs that nobody wanted I drafted. Boggs knows this and I was very vocal about it going into the year. But Puka being number one is tricky because I'm gonna say fiction on that one. Also because I don't back jsn. Jsn. I think Chase depending on if Chase still comes back. Yeah.

But you're gonna get the overcorrection this year for sure though. Yeah, absolutely.

And I think it's interesting in the super flex leagues, look, this year the strategy of punting and taking quarterbacks in bulk was the way to go. But that nobody could have foretold that. But I, I don't think they're over completely. But I think the thing you're always looking for is this year it was Dak Prescott and Drake May. Right. Those were two guys we were very vocal about. Like hey, there's guys later that you could take that are going to be good. It's funny, we're talking about Matthew Stafford's mvp. Matthew Stafford. People didn't want to touch him in any draft, super flex or other because people wouldn't think it was going to play. His back was so bad. All these things falling knife.

Yeah, I mean age.

What a huge difference. Another fact of fiction from James here. Luther Burden surpasses Roma Dun in the pecking order. Well, Luther Burdens hurt too right now, so.

Well, he looked good last night though. I'll say, I'll say fiction, but I, I think that, I think that's going to be a mix. Right? I think it's not going to be like, hey, this is Jefferson. You know, I don't think either one of them is him, but. But I do think they're both really good. So I think it is going to flip between both of them.

Sorry, fact or fiction? New England knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. I'm going to say fiction. You know why? Because they're going to have a first round buy. Ha ha ha. Denver loses to the Chargers. New England gets the buy. I don't think so. I mean, would it surprise me if. If a team like Houston knocked them out now? But I'm going to say no. There's something about that coach and a quarterback that. The poise of Drake May is very special. He is unrattled by anything. He is unfazed by anything. He seems so confident, so far beyond his years. And I know this is like a stroke fest here, but like if Drake May was playing for the Jaguars, I'd say this. If Drake May was playing for the Titans, I'd say this. Drake May is what you want. Your kids who are learning to play quarterback, to play quarterback. Like that's, that's. And I can't imagine how good.

I mean, I think you're going a little far with it, but yeah, I. He's great. He is really good. And I also don't think they get knocked out of the first round. Is it possible? Absolutely. Like you said, there are definitely scenarios where you could see it and I kind of hope for it, but, you know, I don't think we will see it.

All right. Axel might have the best factor. Fiction of the year. If I win enough fantasy championship, Sabrina Carpenter will come looking for me. Fact or fiction? Fact. I mean, nothing excites a woman more than a guy who's got multiple fantasy football championships. I think we all know 100%. Right?

You know, we always go back and look at the number ones and I think we was since 1984, I think for the 84, I think was the John Elway draft. Am I remembering that correctly? Right. Or is it 82?

I don't know. I was one.

Right. Since then or. Or since the modern day NFL draft. I think there's something weird like there's only been Six NFL hall of Famers selected number one overall. You know, like, that is really. That's wild. I'm gonna go through that list. But do you think this year's number one is a lock?

I. I mean, I. I think that we think number. The number one player is a consensus every year almost. So when it's not, I feel like it's more confusing. I do think that this year could be one of those years, because I think a lot of people are just going to go ahead and put CMC at number one. Right. Which is not a bad strategy. And by the way, what are they giving out in Germany? Let's all go get it. This dude has stayed healthy all year. Let's all go. Whatever that is. Let's sign up for it and go. Let's go get it.

Bo Jackson, obviously, he never played for the Buccaneers, but not a whole favor. Vinny Testaveri, Andre Bruce, then Troy Aikman. Okay, hall of Famer there. Jeff. George Russell, M.D. steve Edmond, Drew Bled. So Dan Wilkinson, Kajana Carter, K. Sean Keshawn, Johnson. Excuse me. Orlando Pace, hall of Famer. Peyton Manning, hall of Famer. Then you get this stretch here from 99. Ready? Tim Couch, Courtney Brown, Michael Vick, David Carr, Carson Palmer. Eli Manning probably will be in the hall of Fame. I think. I think he will be. Alex Smith, Mario Williams, jamarcus Russell, Jake Long, Matthew Stafford probably will be in the hall of Fame Sam Bradford, Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, Eric Fisher, David on Clowney, Jameis Winston Miles, Jared Goff, Miles Garrett probably will be in the hall of Fame. Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawrence, and then you got Walker, Bryce Young, Caleb Williams and Cam Ward so very early in those. But that, I mean, think about it. Every year you get the entire crop of NFL of NFL prospects, how often you can't hit a Hall of Famer. It's nuts. It's nuts. Box.

Yeah. I mean, making the hall of Fame is tough. You know what what you want is. You want. I think a lot of the times with the number one overall pick, two teams are taking upside over floor, which you probably should. If your team is bad enough to be picking number one overall, you probably should be taking upside over floor because you want your team to improve as much as it possibly can. But you know, some of those picks were for floor and you still didn't get it with offensive linemen and stuff like that. So it's just, it's a tough job. I it's. Honestly, I think most picks are, are close to 50, 50 and the deeper you get in the draft, the harder it is. So.

[Joey P]

And number one, next year is definitely up for conversation. I mean it could be CMC again when you end up going to the top of it. I that's risky.

[Scott Bogman]

Jsn cmc. We were going through it before. You know, there is, I think it's going to be, you know, a bunch of different guys that people are looking at at number one overall. I don't know that there will be a clear cut consensus unless Johnson Taylor.

For the first eight weeks of the season.

Right, that's true. But who's going to be quarterback for the Colts next year? Because we're not making. It's not Daniel Jones with this Achilles. Is it going to be Philip Rivers again? Are you going to go to a rich. Is. Has he improved enough for you to trust him? Okay, the big probably Mr. Outside Hire right now.

Let's talk about that. I heard a lot of buzz in the last couple of weeks. People thinking that Malik Willis is going to be somebody in the offseason teams are going to go after.

He should be. He's looked great and he's a free agent.

[Joey P]

Yeah, he's gonna, there's gonna be a lot of Pittsburgh, there's gonna be a lot of guys that you're gonna see retro quarterback city. You're gonna see Kirk Cousin somewhere else. You're gonna see a lot of everybody's Gonna be out and about this year. I got one more factor. Fiction Freebox Factor. Fiction. Seattle Seahawks are the best team in the nfc. Are they the most complete team?

They're. They're. I'll say.

It's. They're one of the four. There's four teams in the NFC that I think can come out this year. We went through them, you know, the Rams, the Seahawks, the Bears, and the Niners. I think those are the teams. Do you want to put the Eagles in there? I think the Eagles are too beat up right now.

No, I don't. But, like, I look at the age factor of the Rams as their big deficit. I look at the 49ers defense as being a huge deficit. It's not healthy and it's not good.

[Scott Bogman]

Not with Sam Darnold. Have you watched Sam Darnold this year? He's been great.

[Joey P]

No, but I'm saying the 49ers. I'm saying the 49.

Sam Darnold's. They're the number one seed right now, so you can't take shots at Sam Darrell. Now, if he collapses in this game the way he collapsed at the end of last year. Now, I thought there was a lot of pressure I'm going into a couple weeks ago, and he proved me wrong.

Yeah. I mean, that Rams game looked bad, and then they came all the way back. That was a miracle.

But. But he got that monkey off his back. So if that is. If that was like he's breaking the curse, which I don't. I. I don't think one game where you're extremely lucky is breaking the curse, but maybe that's what he needed for his confidence to not see those ghosts anymore. So they are. They're peaking right now, I feel like. And they could be in a. In for a big run, but everything can change in that Saturday game, so better call.

Bob is a football 49ers fan, so of course he doesn't think that the. The Seahawks are as good. You got to put your face away sometimes, guys. Look.

I'm going with Tyler Shuck this week against the Atlanta falcons for my 300 yard passer. James Cook against the jets to run for 100 yards and CD Lamb against the Giants for my 100 yards of receiver Bogs. Where are you going for your 311.

This week for me? You're winning picks here. Dak Prescott against the Giants. Let's go with Derek Henry at Pittsburgh because they're going to give him the ball 35 times and I mean just because he loves to chew up the Carolina panthers. Mike Evans vs Carolina to end it. You might. You very well might, my friend. I mean, what a concept. Give the ball to Derrick Henry. I mean I don't care if Gary Kennedy fumbles every other time. I don't care. You still give it to the football.

Lions and Bears is interesting to me only because the Lions are on the outside looking in and I was right at the very forefront. Right. And for a while I thought I was wrong, but I turned out to be right. I didn't think the Lions were going to make the playoffs because they lost two coordinators and guess what? Lions didn't make the playoffs. But man, the middle of the season, I look like a dummy. I look like a big old dummy, you know, talking all that crap about the Lions going in. But I guess patience, patience sometimes is very rewarded.
