Hello everybody. Welcome into Fantasy Pros. I'm Ryan, warmly joined. Not as I usually am on Mondays. Cause I don't usually do the show on Mondays. I'm feeling good for Joe Pizza Pia this week, but I am joined today by the guys I'm usually joined with on Fridays. It's Derrick Brown and Pat Fitzmaurice. Fellas, we are talking here on a Monday morning right after all the Sunday games. Usually we have a few days before the three of us are together and reacting to everything and looking ahead to everything. We're we get these instant immediate waivers related reactions here this week, which is really fun. I am definitely looking forward to it. I will say. But before we dive into everything, we were talking a little bit yesterday. Feels like a pretty. Not very. I said weak. Weak. But you know, for the sake of avoiding confusion about which week, I mean I'm saying it's not very strong week of waivers here. But dbro, you were saying that that's kind of been the theme and the pattern really all season.
Derrick Brown
It has. I mean this isn't one of those years. And it's kind of crazy. Guys like we're living the war of attrition every single week. Guys are lost for season ending injuries. And like, I mean honestly I'll just throw this back at both of you. Like do you remember this many season ending injuries for this many players inside of the top 50 and ADP just every single week the hits keep coming and like top of the shelf guys. Like we've lost so many this year. Like Pat, like I'm struggling here man. Like I feel like it's been like a rough waiver year considering all the injuries especially. But like so it's really, you're having to go week to week playing matchups with all of this?
Pat Fitzmaurice
Pretty much, yeah. And we have at least in the last few weeks had some decent running back candidates to chase and I feel like we don't even get that this week. But yes, there are a lot of players hurts. There are a lot of good teams on by this coming week. I have a feeling it could be a pretty low scoring week. We also have some bad defenses that are going to be on by this week which might tamp down the scoring a little bit.
Ryan Wormley
Yeah. I mean last week talking about the running backs fits like Tyrone Tracy, very number one pick. Like, and we got rug hold and we got rugby. First of all, it didn't even work. Yeah. But second of all, you know, there's not even that type of name this week. Like we always start with the waiver wire out of the week, which we'll get to in a minute. And that name is just going to be a lot less inspiring than a guy like Tracy felt a week ago. And, and like you guys said, it's really felt like that way all year. Yeah. I don't know if it's a, it's a more injury prone year than other years. I feel like every year feels crazy and then you know, the next year you kind of forget about it. But it has been bad, certainly. And, and to your point, dbro, even when it's been bad, there haven't been these obvious waiver replacements to fill that. That's what feels bad. It's that the guys getting hurt don't have these natural handcuffs, these natural guys to step into the role behind them. And that I think has really killed the depth at multiple positions this year.
Derrick Brown
To your point, I think the one thing like it's been exactly like you're talking about, I think what's, what's really hurt, all of this stuff and waiver wire pickups and the high upside guys that we've like seen just pop in years past. I think more NFL teams are utilizing running back by committees and more NFL teams are utilizing wide receiver by committees. So you're not getting guys like when Jaylen Null pops off, he's buried back in the depth chart the next week. It doesn't matter. Like there's so many guys that are not playing a full time route share even inside of their own offense, even when they play well. So it's made it really tough reminder.
Ryan Wormley

One last quick, quick note before we dive in those bye week teams that Fitz mentioned in week 10 just so you can start thinking about these early replacements, the Bengals, the Cowboys, the Chiefs and the Titans. Those that's a lot of firepower and to Fitz's point, a lot of poor defenses that we're going to be missing out on this week. So it's not quite By Apocalypse with six teams on by, it's just four. But it's going to be a tough fantasy week with those teams on by. So again, that's Cincinnati, Dallas, Kansas City and Tennessee. Let's get into the waiver wire ad of the week. You guys came up with Parker Washington, which is not the most inspiring name as I alluded to, but it does make sense. Obviously Travis Hunter, a surprise addition to IR going into the weekend. You know, Brian Thomas Jr getting banged up in this game as well. So there's an opportunity here. Maybe some question marks about the actual quality of player that we're recommending here, but sometimes you, you know, the opportunity is really all that, all that matters. He's 26% rostered as of right now here on Monday morning. So if it's Parker Washington, why is he somebody that you see as a waiver wire ad of the week?
Pat Fitzmaurice
You mentioned the injuries were Travis Hunter on IR. Brian Thomas Jr. Picked up an ankle injury yesterday. Diami Brown sustained a concussion. Parker Washington is going to be the Jaguars lead receiver by default in week 10, and his target outlook is probably going to be pretty good for the next three to four weeks. At least the only thing about picking up Parker Washington this week is that he immediately runs into a matchup with the Texans, who have an excellent past defense. They've allowed the fourth fewest receiving yards per game. No wide receivers, they've only allowed four TD catches to wide receivers. But I think this is sort of. Yeah. Indicative of how bereft of talent the waiver wire is this week. Like, I can't bring myself to get truly excited about Parker Washington. He has averaged 1.31 yards per outrun for his career. Not a. Not a good number, but he was, you know, he's been thrust into a greater role. Had that greater role in Week 9 and had eight catches for 90 yards against the Raiders. Had a pretty good week for anyone who had to play him in fantasy. We might see more of the same in the weeks ahead.
Ryan Wormley
I think you need to be a real sicko to be truly excited about Parker Washington like that.
Pat Fitzmaurice
But he's. He's going to be a top 40 receiver this week. Just sort of even in the tough matchup. Just because of the target outlook.
Ryan Wormley
Yeah, deeper. I was going to ask about that matchup and then just in general, like how easy it was to like, was he the clear choice for you? He had nine targets, eight catches, 90 yards, all of which led the team in receiving this week. But tough matchup, you know, uninspiring player. How do you feel about him as our waiver wire out of the week?
Derrick Brown
I mean, I feel okay again, like, I think this is just more of a, a reflection of the, the waiver wire this week. And I think we. And, and I want to be very clear about the waiver wire this week. We have some good options. If you are looking to stream wide receiver or tight end for just this week, there are some interesting options. But if you're looking at a guy that's going to impact your lineup for the rest of the season or carry you down the stretch run to the fantasy playoffs. No, there's not that guy and Parker Washington, like, yeah, like he's the top pickup of the week because like Fitzy outlined here, dude, I don't know. When we See Brian Thomas Jr. Back Diami Brown concussed, like he's definitely going to be out this week, most likely. And like it comes back to. Yeah, like he's a volume play. And even going back to not just this last game versus the Raiders, but going before they went into the buy, he still got a 20% target share. He had 52 receiving yards in that game. Of course The Raiders were a really solid matchup, so he posted the good stat line. But a 26% target share is going to play in any week. Even though. Yeah, like Fitzy outline like it's even the next three weeks. The matchups are terrible, man. Like for perimeter wide receivers, the matchups are horrible. Like he gets the Texans, the Chargers, the Cardinals. If he keeps the role, then okay, you feel really good about it after that. He gets the Titans and the Colts. So like I'm not going nuts to get Parker Washington. Like I think he's like a 5 to 7% like fab bid to go get him and that might not get it done depending on what league you're in and all that kind of stuff. But I think he is the top guy for the week because like Fitzy outlined too just the volume outlook for him in this offense when there is nobody left. Like there's not a tight end of pass catching him. Note right now I don't think Brenton Strange comes back this week. So he's going to sniff probably eight to 10 targets. Like that's probably going to be his floor this week. And in PPR formats, hell, in every format that's going to play up, he's probably a wide receiver.
Ryan Wormley
3 and I'm sure this is already kind of like established when you guys are talking about the amount you're willing to bid. But just since I don't usually do this show. When you say 5 to 7%, do you mean of your initial budget or do you mean.
Derrick Brown
Yeah, like left like based off of. Like like assuming you have $100 like based off your initial budget.
Ryan Wormley
Yeah. Okay. Does that sound about right? Fits to you 5 to 7% for a guy like Washington.
Pat Fitzmaurice
Yeah.
Ryan Wormley
Okay.
Pat Fitzmaurice
No one, no one this week on waivers is worth a double digit. No, no.
Derrick Brown
Agreed.
Ryan Wormley
Well, let. Let's dive into some of the running backs here and interestingly, basically all the names we have are guys that are currently in backup roles. Like you could talk about as a potential handcuff or just kind of like the guy that we think would step into a larger role. Again there. There's not as many true handcuffs as there used to be in the NFL. Or at least it like feels feels that way. But guys that would clearly have a bigger role. And some of these are also guys that could have a bigger role not just for injury, but of course the NFL trade deadline is tomorrow. So this is the area of the show where these are the names that the NFL trade deadline could really change things here in the next 28 or whatever, however many hours it is between now and that deadline. So I almost want to loop these guys together. It's Tank Bigsby, Isaiah Davis, Devin Singletary, Kenneth Gainwell, because again, they all kind of fit into a similar category of the opportunity. That true opportunity has not presented itself really yet, but you can paint a picture, whether by a potential injury in a future week or by, of course, again, that trade deadline. You guys talked about Isaiah Davis on the show last week, like, for that same reason with Breece hall, things could change. So of that group, and again, it's Tank Bigsby who of course is coming off the buy, but we know Saquon was a little banged up going into the buy. Isaiah Davis has the Breeze hall trade possibility stuff. Devin Singletary here, you know, in New York has a better opportunity with Scatter Boo out, obviously. Tyrone Tracy not doing much, and then Kenneth Gainwell in Pittsburgh. So, Fitz, I'll start with you. Of that group, is there one that you see as like a clear top choice of them? They're all in a similar range of roster percentage, too, I should say. Tank Bigby's 26%, Isaiah Davis 34%, Devin Singletary 28%, Kenneth Gainwell's the highest at 45%, but all in between about 25 and 45% roster. Do you have a favorite of that group?
Pat Fitzmaurice
You know, I actually do have a favorite, and I think, like, the Bigsby thing is really interesting because his value depends largely on Saquon Barkley's health this week. And I'm. I'm kind of a big advocate of Wednesday night waivers instead of Tuesday night waivers. I quite frankly think Tuesday night waivers is kind of stupid. There should be a cooling off day and like, Wednesday is a big injury day. Like, we should get to get some basic injury information because if Saquon Barkley practices business as usual Wednesday, Tank Bigsby is just a handcuff. And at least we know he's going to be the handcuff. Now, we were kind of vague on what that would look like earlier this year if, if anything happened to Saquon because we had like this will Shipley, A.J. dillon combination. And then we had Bigsby sort of in cold storage for a while. He's the guy now. We saw him look really good in week eight. But if, like, Saquon doesn't practice on Wednesday, Tank Bigsby could potentially be pretty valuable. Not a great matchup against the packers in week 10, but still, I mean, it's the lead guy in a really good offense with a really good offensive line, but to me the guy I think could have the most potential value is Kenneth Gainwell and I know he's more of a straight back up than a timeshare guy like Jalen. Warren is the Steelers main man and Gainwell is a supporting player, but Steelers running backs are collectively pretty Busy. They're averaging 21 carries and seven targets a game this season and Gainwell has more targets and catches than Warren. Gainwell already has 27 catches. He's on pays for a 50 catch season, but the real appeal here, Worm, is the Steelers upcoming schedule. They play the chargers in week 10. Okay, not a great matchup. But after that, Bengals, Bears, Bills, Ravens, Dolphins, a five week stretch of run defenses ranging from iffy to flat out bad and Gainwell would only get a partial share of the workload against those teams. But I don't know a partial share in those matchups for a running back who adds value as a pass catcher. Not bad. That could give Gainwell flex value and he would become massively valuable if anything happened to Jalen Warren.
Ryan Wormley
D Ro, what do you think? I mean I, I know you were agreeing with Fitz when he mentioned Gainwell as his top guy. I know you guys talked about Tank Bigsby last week. I know you have been really high on Isaiah Davis as a stash really for multiple weeks now in anticipation of a potential Breeze hall move. So when you kind of look at all those different factors, it sounds like maybe Singletary wouldn't be your top choice. But of the other three, do you agree with fits on Gainwell or would you go with Davis or Bigsby?
Derrick Brown
Man, I think every one of these guys it is contextual based off of what do you need for your team? What do you see for the outlook and stuff like Tank Bigsby. I can make you a case. Like if we fast forwarded to and we already knew the injury stuff and it was Wednesday and Thursday. Like I am very much always grain of salt with injury stuff and injury reporting and things like that. Like everybody's like we were talking about this in Slack last night. It was like, okay, well the team has all come out and said great things about Saquon Barkley. He could have gone back in the game. Dude, if you were watching that game, Saquon was not going to go back in that game. There was no way with the way he was moving. So the team going into the bye week, they didn't have to tell the media anything. They didn't have to tell the media. Oh yeah, Saquon's actually really Banged up. We're kind of worried if he plays the next game. Even coming out of the buy, they're not going to say any of that. So practice reports are really going to be what tells the tale. Tells the tale here, but for the same reasons. Like if you were looking at high end handcuff based off of rest of season schedule, if the starter goes out. Fitzy lays out a perfect case for Kenneth Gainwell. He makes a ton of sense. I can make the same case for Tank Bigsby like if you want to talk about like after week 10. So they get the packers and then they get the lions at week 11. If anything were to happen to Saquon and we got some earth shattering news he's on iron, it's bad. Like we're not sure when he, he comes back. I'm not saying that happens, but let's fast forward two weeks because every single week we're having players go out for rest of season injuries. The, the schedule that the Eagles get from week 12 on, guys, they get Dallas, the Bears, the Chargers, the Raiders, the Commanders, the Bills, then the Commanders again in week 18. The same thing Fitzy just talked about for Kenneth Gainwell and a run out. Beautiful schedule. If anything were to happen is the same thing I could present for you for Tank Bigsby. So both of those guys, it depends on do you need a high end handcuff stat stash right now, Maybe they turn out to be like a league winner or what have you, maybe they don't. Or do you want to play depending on when your waivers run. Because yeah, Isaiah Davis if Breeze hall gets traded and we knew that already, we flipped over the cards and said Breeze hall gets traded, you got Isaiah Davis sitting out there, grab him, he's a plug and play freaking RB2 if Breeze is gone. And I think there's a 50, 50 coin flip, like maybe I'm wrong on that, but I think he probably does get traded and it's absolutely up in the air regardless of whatever the jets say in the media. Like some of that could be posturing. The team saying, all right, yeah, offered us a fifth, we're not taking that, we want a fourth, we want a third, whatever that looks like. So some of that is just posturing in the media versus what the team tells you and the reality of what the situations are in those rooms. So those guys are all high end value. And Devin Singletary, if you wanted the best run out of what a guy could be if he takes over the backfield like Tyrone Tracy, yeah, we got Rug Pulled fam we got rug pulled by Brian Dall. He was not the clear workhorse. He didn't get that rollback. That's not what happened. So Devin Singletary if you want a guy that look last week for the Giants, Devin Singletary played more snaps than Tyron Tracy. He ran only four fewer routes. He got two fewer targets but again going back to the routes. But he played the team in carries. So like would we be that shocked to Devin Singletary usurps and takes more of the role away from Tyrone Tracy moving forward. None of us should be. I mean Devin Singletary is a trusted guy for Brian Dabel. The the schedule they get the Bears, the Packers, the Lions, the Patriots. Three of those four run defenses aren't great but then they get the commanders and the Vikings like Singletary if he were to get 60% of this backfield would be in that low end RB2 high end RB3 conversation just depends on whether he scores a touchdown that week or not. So this bucket of guys it depends on how much you want to risk, how much upside chasing you are and what do you need for your team versus like long term play. So it just it really it's contextual based off of your team and the.
Pat Fitzmaurice
Need just to add about Isaiah Davis real quick. The trade deadline is going to pass before we have to get our our waiver claims. So we're going to know and obviously he gets to the top if Breeze hall gets traded. If Breeze hall doesn't get traded, I mean he's a handcuff back and a bad offense and I'm not going to be that interested.
Ryan Wormley
Is is it you know if Parker Washington's 5 to 7% are these guys like 3 to 4% fab that you're looking to spend maybe an extra dollar or two from your fab if you like if you are the Saquon owner to get Tank Bigsby and make sure you've got the handcuff but in that kind of 3 to 4% range. Does that sound right guys?
Pat Fitzmaurice
Yeah, I like sowing seeds at running back that could could grow and flower into something like Gainwell is a guy I'm going to be putting in like three or four dollar bids on this week in multiple leagues to hope that maybe something happens. And with all these good matchups ahead, I mean I'm not saying I'm hoping for a Jalen Warren injury but this is a his value I think is going to be kind of obscured in week 10. But then when these good matchups start popping up for the next four or five weeks after that, we're going to see them.
Derrick Brown
Yeah, I agree with Fitzy and the other part about that is if you have a team that where you're, you're a rock solid at RB1 but you've been mixing and matching RB2 like you pray, played Rashad White for a few weeks and stuff like that and now you're like, I don't know what I'm going to do at RB2. This is a situation where if you have the bench space, yeah, you just spray the board. You put in like 2 to 4% bids on multiple guys. If you hit Yahtzee on one or maybe two of them, then you are set at RB2.
Ryan Wormley
Well, to make bench space you have to drop some guys and we've got a few names written down and there's a big one right at the top of the list. I'm not sure which one of you two added this one to the sheets.
Derrick Brown
Oh, we agree on this one. We agree.
Ryan Wormley
So you guys agree so well Fitz, I'll start with you. Alvin Camara has been a fantasy superstar for a very long time and has won people leagues on a number of occasions and has just been a consistent first round pick and you've got him as a drop.
Pat Fitzmaurice
The funny thing is he is still clearly the Saints lead back and I can't ever remember thinking that the lead back for any NFL team was like a drop candidate. But Camara yesterday 17 yards from scrimmage and lost a fumble. He had 0.2 half point PPR fantasy points. Since week three, Camara has averaged 6.1 half point PPR fantasy points per game. Hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 1, so only had one game this season with more than 18 receiving yards, which is kind of unfathomable for Alvin Camara. Things have been bad and I don't think it gets better anytime soon. The Saints best offensive lineman Eric McCoy is out for the year with a biceps tear. It even without any sort of imminent threat to Camara's job. Like yeah, he, he's just the rare lead back with zero to potentially negative fantasy value because you are losing ground to other teams when you start Alvin Camara these days.
Ryan Wormley
He's also got a bye week coming up. So like you know, some of the players who have had their bye weeks you get, you know, at least you don't have to worry about that. His is in week 11 so you know you're going to get a definitive zero coming up in a couple weeks too. He does get, he does get the Dolphins in Week 13, but there's some tough run defenses mixed in there too. Besides that, that's like the one. And even, even with that, like how confident would you be? Just with what we've seen about him against Miami. Yeah, dbra, you said you agree on this one and you're, you're willing to drop not, not to bench, but drop Camara, Drop him.
Derrick Brown
Yeah. I would take any one of these high end stashes we just laid out over Alvin Camara and it's like people, this is where we get to people misconstruing name value and actual fantasy production. Alvin camara is the RB 37 and fantasy points per game. If you look since week five, he has one outing over the last few weeks since that time frame of double digit PPR points. He has not scored a freaking touchdown since week one. This offense is horrible. Tyler Schuck is not going to bring better things ahead. They are not utilizing him in the passing game. It has been God awful and he's not going to get traded. He has literally come out and said if they try to trade me, I will retire. So Alvin Camara for everybody, like, and I keep seeing it. Everybody's like, oh yeah, he's gonna be a future chief, bro. You don't even know Mickey Loomis and you haven't been paying attention. Alvin Kamara ain't going nowhere. Yes, he's a drop.
Ryan Wormley
Debra, some quick thoughts on the other drops we have written down here. I mean Chuba Hubbard, I think that one's kind of clear. Just like Rico Dowdles really like taking over. But then Brashard Smith, a guy that you've been a big fan of and just haven't seen him get the usage you want to. Just some quick thoughts on Smith.
Derrick Brown
He's not getting the usage. Like he had basically the perfect run out of like him possibly getting an elevated role against the Buffalo Bills and it still didn't freaking happen like they they elevated. Ceh, he got one less carry than Brashard Smith. He's not getting targets out of the backfield. Rasheed Rice is cannibalized as is underneath role. Like it's just not happening. It's just not happening. And I think now more than ever I believe the Kansas City Chiefs will trade for a running back. Like they're all seeing the same. They got the conversations inside of those war rooms. Like they have to understand too the same thing we understand there's not a running back of difference on that depth chart. I'm not saying that Burchard Smith couldn't be that guy, but they're not. They're not inclined to give him run as the guy. They don't trust him in that role. So that's not happening. And I think you're just looking at like, okay, like why am I holding this guy if he's not getting the run? It's just based off of hope at this point and not actual opportunity or the team telling us anything differently.

Fitz let's get into the wide receivers. Let's start with a guy that you were very high on going into week nine and that's Alec Pierce, 27% rostered on sleeper how much would you be willing to spend at Pierce to your team?
Pat Fitzmaurice
If I had a need at wide receiver this week I would maybe be willing to spend 6 or 7% for him. And this is I like I can't take credit. Debro kind of gave me the answer key to Alec Pierce. Like he was all over Alec Pierce's matchup against the Steelers and Pierce had six catches for 119 yards. But like that's not normally the sort of production I would chase. Like because Alec Pierce benefited from the coverage matchup but dbro now he gets the Falcons. You like that matchup too, don't you dude?
Derrick Brown
I mean what did I say last week? Fitzy Alec Pierce is going to be the next Troy Franklin. I I, I said it last week. People can cut it it like it's Alec Pierce versus single high coverage. Like I said you needed to start him last week because Pittsburgh ran a top five rate a single high. And the same thing's true this week. Fitzy like Alec Pierce walked into last week's Games with a 29.5% target share, 4.3 yards per route run in the 33% first reach here against single high. And that's before he put up a stat line where he got a 26% target share last week. Six receptions and 115 receiving yards and he's poised to do the same freaking thing again this week. Yeah like we we let off the show with Parker Washington being the pickup of the week. If you are looking at just this week in its own box. Alec Pierce is the top pickup of the week because of the coverage matchup and the secondary he's going to face. Atlanta utilizes single high at the highest rate in the NFL and 72% of their defensive snaps. And since week four their secondary has been giving up a lot more production to perimeter wide receivers giving up the seventh most PPR points per target. So yes, Alec Pierce could give you wide receiver two numbers again this week.
Ryan Wormley
Debra, I want to stick with you because you mentioned Troy Franklin here. He's 55 rostered on sleeper 48 rostered on Yahoo. He's somebody that is also on this list as a top wide receiver AD this week.
Derrick Brown
Yeah man. And with Franklin I like we talked about it like last week like it's like Ben Shim this upcoming week. The matchup was horrible. But then look he's absolutely flex worthy again this week and he's getting a ton of usage and high leverage usage. Like he's still top five in red zone targets in the NFL last week I know he didn't do much but again tough matchup. He still got 10 freaking targets guys. And now the matchup comes back into play for Troy Franklin to be another high end flex play this week like the Raiders. Yes please. Their secondary is not good. We just saw what Parker Washington did to them. So if anybody drops Troy Franklin and saying okay he's a bust, whatever, blah blah blah. They chased last week's stat line even though we all told you on this show, I told you in the primer not to chase it that in for week nine. Go back to the well with Troy Franklin this week.
Ryan Wormley
Where are you at on Franklin Fitz? I mean like kind of like D was talking about tough, tough game here. 4 for 27 but 10 targets to lead the team by a decent margin here in week nine.
Pat Fitzmaurice
Right. Bad surface stats but the target count is what has our attention or should have our attention. And he's had three touchdown catches in the last three weeks. I don't know if he's necessarily someone you want to start every week, but if you have to plug Franklin into your lineup any given week, you shouldn't really feel that bad about it.
Ryan Wormley
Dbro, I want to go start with you for another wide receiver name just because when I think about Christian Watson, I think about dbro, you know, coming back from. From obviously terrible injury at the end of last season has looked, frankly better than I expected him to look, you know, right off the bat. And, you know, we know what happened with, with Tucker Kraft in this game. We don't know 100% that it's an ACL, but they're typically pretty spot on with these things, so it sure seems like it's going that direction here as of Monday morning. So there's an opportunity here for somebody to step up. Now, obviously he's not a tight end, but, you know, Christian Watson is a player that you really like, fits. I'm not even going to get into, like, what's going on with this offense in general, so, like, best of luck trying to figure out the Packers. You'll notice I didn't mention the game at the top of the show because I consider you a close personal friend, but maybe in some capacity here. D row, there's an opportunity in this offense and you are the Christian Watson guy.
Derrick Brown
I mean, there is massive opportunity in this offense. And yeah, we just talked about the unfortunate injury to Tucker Kraft. Matthew golden also got knocked out of last week's game with a shoulder injury. So, I mean, Watson, it's. It's the usage, it's the opportunity, it's the, the, the avenue to ascend in the offense. Considering what's going on around him and the fact that, I mean, Fitz and I talked about this like last week, man. Like, I've been surprised they have played him as much as they did. Like his first game back, he got a 59.5% route share. The target share wasn't amazing, but the eight out was good. He was productive on the targets that he got. This last week, guys, his route share bumped up to 75%. Like he might get into the 80s or 90s considering the injuries around him. Still no Jaden Reed. Savion Williams is more of an afterthought. Luke Musgrave, I don't think steps into a massive target chair and the, the matchups. The reason we're not talking about him even in streamers is the matchups for tight ends aren't great over the next few weeks. So I think you're looking at Christian Watson. Yeah, dude, like, he could have some ceiling games. In these upcoming matchups, like, do I want to play him in the Eagle versus the Eagles? No, I don't want to do that. But against the Giants and the Vikings in the next two weeks after that, who giving up the 12th most and the most PPR points per target to perimeter wide receiver since week four? Heck yeah, dude.
Ryan Wormley
32% rostered on sleeper fits. How much are you willing to spend on Christian Watson?
Pat Fitzmaurice
Yeah, I mean, just like 5%.
Derrick Brown
Yeah, Worm.
Pat Fitzmaurice
But just to sort of. I think the point we're trying to reiterate with all these wide receivers, it kind of depends on what you need. If you need an immediate starter this week, I think, like, Alec Pierce is the guy you should be targeting, maybe Darius Slayton as a backup target. But if you're okay at wide receiver this week and you're looking ahead and you're hit with buys in week 11 and week 12, I think you're more inclined to chase after guys like Parker Washington, Christian Watson and Debro mentioned Giants and Vikings, two pretty good matchups. And by the way, like Watson's average depth of target in his first two games, games back 23.1 yards. So these are, these are high value targets. That does, that does give you a little bit of a low ceiling because it's harder to. To make your connection on these longer throws. But, man, if he does connect, like, you're going to get some splash.
Derrick Brown
Also, before we move off of Watson, I do think it's very relevant and I think Fitz will agree with me. The fact that the packers defense, their past defense, has taken a small step back over the last few weeks. I know, I know they put Bryce Young in to the. They shoved him to the side this week, but that's Bryce Young. The previous few weeks they have taken a step back that could lead to more passing for Green Bay instead of them being able to, like, look, we're just going to turtle, sit on the ball and run and play slow.
Ryan Wormley
One more wide receiver. And by the way, I'm going to stop asking how much fab you guys are willing to spend, because the answer, every one of these is like 3 to 6%. So in that range, you can tell based on the way we talk about him, if we're on the higher end or lower end of that range, but that's that range for all these guys. The. The last thing I want to talk about is a guy that, you know, could have been added late last night. Tori Horton, who had two touchdowns, he's a player that a lot of people liked as A rookie and he kind of fell a bit in the draft. Got an opportunity. With Cooper cup missing the game last night, it was against a terrible commander's defense that was not just a bad defense, but a bad defense playing like their D level game like it was. It was really an embarrassing effort by Washington's defense. And Horton took Advantage just for 48 yards, but caught all four of his targets. Had two touchdowns there. Obviously when Cooper comes back on the field, that will kind of change his outlook. So long term, I don't know. But he's a guy that I want on my roster because I want him in the event that either of these other receivers misses any time. So D Ro, what are your quick thoughts on Tori Horton here? How much would you be willing to spend? I said I wasn't gonna ask that anymore. But just giving your quick thoughts on Tori Horton.
Derrick Brown
No, man, I mean I think you can get him for, for cheaper than even that bucket. Like 2 to 4%. People looking at Seattle's offense, looking at the limited volume, like I know he only got a 16 targeture, I know they only threw it 24 times. That's been the, the, the problem with Seattle's passing offense, regardless of how freaking good they've been on a per drop back basis. And everybody should be giving Sam Darnold his flowers. If this was a high flying passing offense with more volume. Considering how well Sam Darnold is playing, I think he'd be on the fringe of MVP conversation again. He is playing that well. And if anybody wants to push back against that, go check his numbers. They are absolutely freaking fantastic. But the thing about Torrey Horton, man, it's the talent. It's, it's a prospect that I was very high on coming into the process. And the thing with Cooper cup hamstring injuries, man, like he's had numerous injuries. He is not a young wide receiver. If we were to get news from this time of this recording up until like the middle of this week and Cooper cup goes on the ir, nobody should be surprised. It was a late week injury. Hamstring also popped up with the heel issue and the matchups coming up for Torrey Horton. Yeah, like I talked about the issues of volume and stuff like that. If Seattle decides down the stretch to cut it loose with the passing attack at all, then Horton is going to see more targets moving forward. Plus you add Cups injury, his injury history to all this and the schedule guys like, yeah, he gets Arizona and the Rams over the next two weeks. Those aren't great matchups. If Kup were to miss the rest of the season. Dude, after that he gets the Titans, the Vikings, the Falcons, the Colts. Like you're talking about strong flex play Fitz.
Ryan Wormley
Let me ask you this. The names we have on our possible wide receiver drops to make room for some of these guys. Alec, IO Manor, Shamir, dk, Keon Coleman, Darnell Mooney. Would you drop any of those guys for Tori Horton?
Pat Fitzmaurice
I would drop pretty much all of them. I mean I a, Manor and dk. The Titans are on by this week and come back to matchups against the Tex and Seahawks. It's just not worth holding those guys. Coleman. Coleman averaged 19.2 yards per catch and 9.8 yards per target last season. This year, 8.2 yards per catch and 5.7 yards per target. It's just the verticality is sort of gone. It's kind of weird after that big week one game. Hasn't had 45 yards in any game since. And Mooney is just like off the radar of the Falcons quarterbacks. Whether it's Pennix or Kurt Cousins, he's averaged three targets over his last four games. I will say this about Tori Horton. First of all, the notion that he's going to go for two or four dollars after a two touchdown, that's fair. On Sunday Night Football that's not happening. And I would, I think I would rather actually, if you needed a one week play, I would rather have Darius Slayton, even though I don't think he's very good and and dropped what should have been a long touchdown pass on an absolute dime from Jackson Dart. But I'm going to be ranking Slayton as a top 35 receiver this week because he's tied to a good quarterback and has a Week 10 matchup against the Bears defense that has its two best cornerbacks, Jalen Johnson and Kyler Gordon on injured reserve.
Derrick Brown
That's a good shout out for Darius Slayton. We've talked about him in a few previous weeks and the match, I mean the schedule does open up for him too. Like after the Bears they get. The packers just talked about their secondary, the Lions. Who knows if their secondary is really, really good or it isn't. They're just back and forth, the Patriots commanders, Vikings and Raiders. So yeah, Darius Slayton definitely needs to be in this conversation too. And being, I mean arguably he, he did get knocked out of last week's game after taking the big hit on the drop in the end zone. But we haven't gotten any kind of clarity on, you know, injury or, you know, if you just got the wind knocked out of him.
Ryan Wormley
Let's get into our streamers. We've got one from each of you at quarterback, tight end, defense and kicker. We'll start off at quarterback here. Fitz, I'll let you go first. You're running back with the same guy you had last week and it worked very well.
Pat Fitzmaurice
Sam Darnold. Yeah, he's just the best widely available quarterback on waivers. He's in a run heav but he's been super efficient this year. And you know, Arizona is not a great matchup that we're attacking with streaming quarterbacks this week. But he's just the best widely available quarterback.
Ryan Wormley
Just again, commander's defense was having a very, very, very bad game. But like he was. That first half was insane in on Sunday night Football. Sam Darnold just looked amazing. So yeah, him going up against Arizona. Debro, your boy, your beloved precious quarterback is back and he played well or at least, you know, well, you know, scored a few touchdowns. There's you know, some misses in there too. Obviously his first game back, but he looked good. J.J. mcCarthy against my Ravens. Why do you like him as a streamer?
Derrick Brown
Well, first I'll give Sam Darnold his flowers. Three of his last four games with 20 or more fantasy points since Week 5. The QB11 and fantasy points per game again playing lights out. But yeah, dude, JJ McCarthy right now at the time of recording this QB12 for the week and he played extremely well versus the Lions. Yes, there were misses. Yes, he air mailed some passes. If you go watch the film, I thought he played very, very well this week. Were there holes in the game? Yeah, but dude versus the Baltimore Ravens last five games have given up the 10th most schedule adjusted fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. I thought their, their defense was going to play a lot better. Like look, yeah they had a good game against Tuatanga Violoa but he also had some missed opportunities and things go off the rails for him. So I think JJ can be a very solid streamer this week.
Ryan Wormley
Just previewing our conversation on Friday this week when we tape our key questions show. I'm not saying that Ravens Vikings is the best game of the week. It's clearly not. But I do think it might be the most fascinating. I am really interested to see what JJ McCarthy looks like against the current edition of the Ravens defense. I'm really interested to see Lamar just in his second game back against the splitzing defense of Minnesota. Like I think this is a really fascinating game. I cannot wait to talk about that more later in the week so we'll see what we think about there. Let's get to the tight ends. Dbra, who are you streaming here?
Derrick Brown
I'm going with Kate Otten here, man. I'm like and again we're living in in the one week realm with these streamers and stuff. The Patriots have allowed the 10th most schedule adjusted fantasy points per game to tight ends. K dot and since week five has been a bigger, much bigger part of this Bucks passing attack has a 19 target share. So I'm not telling you that I want Kate Otten in the next two matchups against Buffalo Rams, but this week versus the Patriots. Yes sir.
Ryan Wormley
Fitz, who do you have at tight end?
Pat Fitzmaurice
I've got Colston Loveland. Cole met got a concussion yesterday so he's probably going to be out for Week 10 and Loveland had a big day against the Bengals including that great catch and run touchdown to win it for the Bears. At the end Loveland sort of reminded us why he was drafted in the top half of the first round and we should be excited about a talented tight end in a Ben Johnson offense if he doesn't have to share snaps and targets with another tight end.
Ryan Wormley
We talk a lot about, you know, the second half of the rookie season bump for receivers but really you could say pass catchers. I mean it doesn't happen as often for tight end. It is a position that takes longer to adjust to. But if they're largely using him as a pass catcher anyway, I think there's a world where Loveland becomes like a top eight tight end rest of season. I'm not saying I would guarantee it but I, I, I think there is a world where he is kind of like just a few weeks later around a Gadsden like just, just becomes this immediate, startable kind of high level tight end that, that is on the table I think with Loveland. So I like him as a shout as well. We'll do the defenses and kickers pretty quickly here. D Ro, who's your defense that you're picking up?
Derrick Brown
I'm just, I mean this is easy, man. I can't believe they're under 50. The Buffalo Bills versus the freaking Dolphins. It just whatever you want to talk about. Dolphins are meh. Buffalo's defense looked a lot better versus Casey. Any narrative works here.
Ryan Wormley
So Debra's taking the team facing the Dolphins. Fitz, you're taking the team that just faced the Dolphins.
Pat Fitzmaurice
Yeah, you're Ravensworm. And even though JJ McCarthy did make some plays and that went over the lions, he's thrown four interceptions and been sacked 14 times in his three NFL starts. And the Minnesota offensive line is kind of an injury injury riddled mess right now. So yeah, I think the Ravens are.
Derrick Brown
Good and Jordan Mason can't pass protect to save his life.
Ryan Wormley
Yeah, well the Ravens can't rush the passer to save their lives, but maybe that changes with the NFL trade deadline this week and they get somebody in there who knows. We'll, we'll find out. Kicker Fitz who are you? I can't believe we even do kickers on the show, by the way, but kicker.
Pat Fitzmaurice
Yeah, Cairo Santos is on kind of a heater for the Bears. 1911 and 11 fantasy points in his last three games.
Derrick Brown
DBRA Matt Prater again, I'm just going full Bills here, man. Like they're, they're going to move the ball, they're going to put up points. Prater's been knocking on the door with double digit fantasy points in most weeks. So, so yeah, just keep it simple.
Ryan Wormley
When, when Joe sent me the sheet knowing that I was gonna be filling in for him today, I was like did a double take. We, we talked about streaming kickers on this show.
Pat Fitzmaurice
Just here.
Derrick Brown
So it'll get fine. Just here. So don't get fine.
Ryan Wormley
Yeah. Of all the streamers mentioned, I definitely don't like kickers the most. I probably like Colson Loveland the most and I think he would be a good ad. Again, that's fantasypros.com myplaybook we'll wrap things up with our top overall waiver wire ads going our top five from each of you. Fitz, who do you have?
Pat Fitzmaurice
I've got Parker Washington at number one, then between two and four really tight Tank Bigsby, Alec Pierce, Kenneth Gainwell, and then a number five, Sam Darnold, just because he's far and away the best quarterback on the waiver wire in most leagues.
Ryan Wormley
Debra, you've got mostly similar names but in a slightly different order. Who do you have for your top five?
Derrick Brown
Yeah, and all this comes down to need. Like if you were to tell me you wanted to bump Sam Darnold because you just lost Jayden Daniels possibly for the rest of the season. I wouldn't push back a bit like about anything. Same thing with if you have a tight end, need running back, wide receiver, what have you. So all this is contextual, but my top five are Parker Washington one, Alec Pierce number two, Tank number three, Christian Watson is four and Kenneth Gainwell. Baby, that schedule is sexy. Number five.

Episode 1816 | November 3, 2025 | Hosted by Ryan Wormley with Derrick Brown and Pat Fitzmaurice
This week’s episode dives into the Week 10 fantasy football waiver wire with hosts Ryan Wormley, Derrick Brown (“dbro”), and Pat Fitzmaurice (“Fitz”). Coming together immediately after Sunday’s games, the crew gives raw, instant reactions and advice for managers heading into a week with several top-tier teams on bye and limited obvious waiver targets. The hosts break down the thin waiver landscape, discuss injury impact, analyze streaming options, and highlight key players to consider and, notably, those to drop as playoff races heat up.
Several RBs are grouped for their similar speculative, upside-dependent appeal:
All WRs (except Parker Washington) are typically in the 3–6% recommended FAB range unless desperate/really excited about a one-week upside.
Week 10 presents fantasy managers with slim waiver wire pickings, largely due to injuries and committee usage stifling potential breakout adds. Parker Washington leads as a high-volume, low-upside option. The RB market is all about handcuffs, speculations, and stashes with potential rest-of-season value hinging on health, trades, or workload shifts. Top RB and WR targets are best utilized based on your roster situation (short-term streamer vs upside stash). The hosts make the rare call to drop Alvin Kamara, highlighting the need to prioritize production over name value as the fantasy playoffs approach. This week is all about scraping value, prepping for byes, and staying flexible with lower-tier bids.
For lineup-pressured managers, prioritize immediate plug-ins like Alec Pierce or streaming Sam Darnold. For speculative, swing-for-the-fences managers, stash upside RB handcuffs and bench WRs like Christian Watson or Tori Horton. Don’t chase names; chase volume and opportunity, however uninspiring they may look this week.
