Fare differences may apply welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy Football Podcast. It is me, Joey P, Joe P. Zappia with me today, full of stuffing and good cheer. DBRO Derrick Brown, the king of Bros and Pat Fitz Morris. We're here to break down the waiver wire for Week 14 in the NFL. We got some teams on a buy this week to four of them to be specific. The Carolina Panthers, the Patriots, the Giants and the and The San Francisco 49ers won't be in week 14. I'm on Ross St. Brown probably won't be either. We're going to talk about what that all means, your waiver wire pickup of the week. But first I got to get something off my chest because I am not a Lions fan. I am not a Lions fan, but damn it, Dan Campbell almost ruined my Thanksgiving. Situational football is something I teach the 12 year olds that I coach, the 14 year olds that I've coached, and even the 10 year olds that I've coached in years past. You're down by two scores with five minutes left in the game. You kick the field goal because you still need seven anyway. You don't go for fourth down because what if you miss it and then all of a sudden the air goes.
A
Out of the stadium.
B
The air goes out of the players. The defense has to play differently. Dbro, I don't think that the Lions can ever get to a Super bowl, much less win one with the way Dan Campbell has situational football issues and he has got a ton of them and this is not new. He you've seen it in the playoffs in the past in San Francisco. You've seen it in other playoff games. I get being aggressive, but at a certain point there's aggressive and they're stupid and I almost let it ruin my Thanksgiving meal. I was so wound up about it. What are your thoughts on that?
A
I think it comes down to a simple mantra, man. You live by the sword you die by the sword. If they're going to be aggressive, they're always going to be aggressive. And you're not wrong about the situational football. The thing that I'll point to the other side, and I'm very curious about Pat's take. You could say the same thing about Matt LaFleur playing aggressively, going for fourth downs. But, but it worked out for the packers. So we're not going to talk about that, but we're talking about Dan Campbell. I think it's just, it comes, but.
B
You'Re on the road half of the game. It is.
A
That's all it is.
B
But you're also put. You're also in this spot where you're like, well, if there's time left, you're pinning the defense. They've got that tie in their schedule, in their, in their win loss column too. Which, which means, like, hey, we're, we're on the road, we're going for broke. We're not supposed to win this individual game on the road. Let's let all hang out. It's totally opposite. And I know for Pat, he was loving this. Like, this must have been like, you know, you talk about you break the wishbone and get the other half. This is. It had to be what you wish for Pat on Thanksgiving.
C
Yeah, I agree. I mean, I, I do think that Campbell is aggressive to a fault.
B
Right.
C
And you know, and I didn't, honestly, I was, I was complaining about lafleur's decision making on the go for it throw on third down and not stop the clock, not keep the clock going. And then the fourth down throw, which did work out. I mean, Don Tamon Wicks made a great catch with a defender draped all over him, but boy, that was like a tightrope act to get that fourth down. And had you run it, you could still conceivably run two plays. I'm not hating it. If the packers had gone for it on 4th and 1 and tried to run the ball and they got stopped short. Okay, that's fine. And if they had run and punted, like, they would have given the Lions the ball probably at around the 10 yard line with about a minute 17 left to go and no timeouts. Make them, make them drive.
B
And you saw it all day Sunday too, right, Pat? I mean, Harold Fannin taking snaps on fourth down. What the hell are we doing out here, folks? What the hell are we doing? All right, I. Sorry, I had to vent somewhere to somebody. So you guys are it.
A
So I'm. Stay space, Joe, Save space.
B
Well, it just. But it's situational. And what happened the air. But there were so many times when they hit those fourth down like that, Don Davion Wicks that, that second touchdown right where you just, you could feel the air go out of the building. Yeah. And in a building where there's very few home advantages really left in the NFL, that's one that there is right when Eric goes out of that building, man, that is tough to pump that airbag. And then they did. They had Almond Raw get hurt. JMO makes big plays. Jamir makes big play. They pump the air back in. You're doing well. Kick the field goal, take the points. You got five minutes left. It changes the whole dynamic how the defense has to play. Because now the defense isn't playing down by 7, they're playing down by 10. And the style in which you're going to play is not conducive with that much time. Again, I'm going to get work myself up again and it's not worth it. Instead, what's worth it is giving away free stuff. And of course we're going to give away the perpetual fantasy football trophy. From trophy smack, it goes to Jay. I hope this is right. Mickey J. Mickey. Congratulations, Jay. Mickey. Maybe it's Mikey, maybe it's Mickey. Either way, Jay, you're the big winner. Hit us up@mailbagantasyprose.com with your mailing address, a screenshot of your YouTube account page while you're logged in and once we confirm, will get that prize shipped out to you again. Again, Jay, Mickey, congratulations. You are the winner. And this week's giveaway is the ESPN Fantasy football championship ring giveaway. This is a great one. We love the rings. But if you want to win this one for free like the stream, subscribe to the channel, drop your comments below and you can win the championship ring for from trophy smack this week in football. Let's get to the waiver wire. Ad of the week. And it's ad and I, Mitchell, believe it or not, of the New York Jets. That's right. Rostered in just 7% of leagues on the sleeper. He had gotten a lot of targets Pat in the last couple weeks. Catching them. Catching them was the problem. We know what he is. He's kind of a big splash kind of guy. He's got some talent. And now to Rod Taylor obviously is making use of John met you. We talked about last week's show at length and also Mitchell going forward. What's Mitchell's rest of season look like here in this jets offense as the quote unquote big playmaker of the Jets?
C
Well one thing I like Joe, the Jets have actually turned into a nice tidy little operation for fantasy like Breece hall is the clear lead back ADNAI Mitchell, John Metchie and Mason Taylor are really the only significant target earners and Tyrod Taylor is making it all work in a way that Justin Fields wasn't able to. Now I know some people aren't going to buy the Adnai Mitchell hype. In his two previous games before the Week 13 breakout, AD Mitchell had 13 targets caught three of them. Although one of those games was a Justin Field start. But now we're talking about 24 targets over his last three games and the targets are now coming from a functional passer and we are talking about a guy who's six' two, has some 44 speed, is a freak athlete. That that play where AD Mitchell fumbled at the goal line when he was still with the Colts and probably cost them a win against the Rams. People should go back and rewatch that play and pay particular attention. Everything that happened before the Fumble, like Mitchell rip rips a 5050 ball away from Emanuel Forbes. Then he outraces Forbes and Cam Curl and Emanuel Forbes ran a 435 at the combine like that is what's intriguing. Mitchell's a special athlete and there's a reason he was a second round pick even though he never had a thousand yard season in college. So if the light is switched on for him, look out and and Mitchell's scheduled on the stretch. Dolphins. Saints. Jaguars. Dolphins. Jaguars. Saints. The matchup against Miami this week, maybe not a great one. The Dolphins have been pretty stingy against wide receivers. But Jacksonville and New Orleans in the first two weeks of the fantasy playoffs, that's pretty attractive.
B
Yeah, talk to me about Mitchell D. Rowe, what are your thoughts on him rest of season? It seems like right now with that Sauce Gardner injury and the jets getting the two first round picks and Mitchell that the jets are winning that trade as of December 1st as of right now.
A
I mean I, I said it when the trade went down. I'm not giving away two first round picks for any freaking corner. It doesn't matter what sauce. But you know with A.D. mitchell, we talked about him on last week's show Boys, we talked about him. We talked about him and Mechi as being pickups and flex plays moving forward. And the thing for Mitchell is, you knew the regression game was coming, but because the volume had been there in weeks 11 through 12, he had a 23% target share. And I'm like, to. To Pat's point, he didn't do anything with it. But again, if you keep getting that type of volume, you're going to strike pay dirt. And that's what happened with A.D. mitchell. And to Pat's point, yeah, dude, like, the matchups against the Saints and Jaguars are fantastic. So volume play, wide receiver three, flex play. Like, all these things are in play for AD Mitchell in the. In the weeks to come and pretty much for the rest of the season. Like, the only week that I don't want to play him or like he's kind of off the flex radar is championship week against the New England Patriots, which he's probably going to draw, right? Shadow coverage from from Christian Gonzalez. Outside of that wide receiver three flex play rest of season, he's getting a ton of volume.
B
All right. When it comes to the running backs, there's really not a lot of new names, quote, unquote, we're going to talk about. So instead, I want you to grade these guys right, in terms of, like, you want to give them five star bench guy, three stars. Like, how do you rate them? Let's start with Chris Rodriguez of the Washington Commanders. What would you grade him in terms of, like, again, all these guys rostered under for 50% league, still floating out there in more leagues than maybe they should be. Chris Rodriguez, D, bro. What's your grade on him in terms of star rating?
A
Two and a half. That's kind of where I'm at like that. That's kind of the bucket where a lot of these guys will fall. And that's that RB3 slash flex bucket where it's like he's going to live in the 12 to 15 or 16 touch range. And the bet you're making that week, is it a good matchup and does he score a touchdown? If he scores a touchdown, he's probably an RB2 for the week. So. And the matchups upcoming, I mean, they can lend itself to a lot of RB two weeks. Joe.
B
All right, one through five. Fitzy, give me the star rating for Chris Rodriguez.
C
Three in standard, two and a half ppr, one in full ppr.
B
Oh, looks so good. Look at you waiting, though. He was just waiting in the wings with that one. Just, like, ready to go. Ah, Just very nice. I just.
C
You. You look at Chris Rodriguez as a complete zero in the passing game. He's had one reception in 10 games. So he is far less appealing in full point PPR leagues than standard or half ppr. Like he has to get a touchdown, maybe two to get over in full ppr. But at least he has like clearly surpassed Ja Cory Krosky Merritt as the key lead early down back for the commanders. And he's got three touchdown runs in his last four games.
B
How did you feel about the correct pronunciation of Mario Ta last night by the way?
C
What was that all about? Yikes. Between that and the Rodney Harrison glitch. Oh man.
A
Or beneath not Mario T. Yeah, Brett Coleman. That was a fantastic tweet. Oh my God.
B
Well done. Well done Bam Knight. Fitzy, give me the star rating for him on people's radars. Waiver wire.
C
Boy, this is another conditional one. I'm going to say two and a half. Here's the thing Joe. Trey Benson could be back this week or in week 15, in which case Bam Knight would have little value. But Benson did have arthroscopic knee surgery and we still haven't gotten any real indication that his return is imminent. So if Benson isn't activated by I believe December 10th, he goes to season ending IR. And look, the Cardinals play the Rams and the Texans their next two games. Tough matchups for running backs. But weeks 16 and 17 they get the Falcons in Bengals Bengals. If Benson ends up on season ending IR Bam Knight in week 17 against the Bengals like potentially attractive running back to or flex option for championship week and hot take.
B
I think he's worth more than people realize right now.
A
I agree to fit these points. I mean same area code, two and a half stars. And the thing about Benson too limited participant last week on Wednesday he was a DMP on Thursday and Friday with a knee issue. I think the season ending IR is a definite possibility to fit the point.
B
I agree. Yeah, I agree big time.
C
Can I. Can I add one thing though? It just worth noting. Bam Knight actually played three fewer snaps than Michael Carter. But Knight does get a much higher percentage of touches on his. He touches the ball on a much higher percentage of his snaps than Michael Carter does. Like when Bam Knight is in there, he's often taking handoffs.
A
They're great.
B
They're.
A
They're the. The basically that tandem is game skip, script independence. It's like when they trail, it's a lot of Carter when they're ahead neutral, it's a lot of night.
B
It's a lot of bam.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah. All right, let's talk about Blake corum. Season high, 81 rushing yards for him on seven carries and a touchdown. What's his star rating? DBro.
A
It's like a one and a half only because Kyron. So I'm only saying that because the Kyron. So Kyron got banged up in that game, left with an ankle injury but returned. So I think returning in the game, I think he's gonna be fine moving forward. And I think he's a handcuff. Like he's kind of in that Tyler Algier kind of mode. It's like if the Rams are playing catch up or if they're ahead, then he could solve the clock away and he's basically a touchdown dependent flex.
B
See, I like Corum maybe more than Debro does, Pat, because I feel like Corum is a guy that steps into one of the best offenses in the league potentially. If Kyron has another issue with an ankle or another issue, to me, he's that he, like, you know, some of these other guys, you know, Chris Rodriguez, that offense, like this is the Rams offense, you know, like this is a little bit different. I know it was a rough go for them. Just can't turn the ball over as much as you did. You can't win any football game no matter how good or bad the opponent is. What are your thoughts on Corum? What's his star rating in terms of worth?
C
Yeah, three and a half. Because if Kyron goes down, we are ranking him as a top 10 running back in that week and he's a guy you would be excited to play in the fantasy.
A
So I just want to. I just want to clarify. The only reason I put the stars low is because that's kind of the bucket where the handcuffs live for me. Like if were to go out like. Or viewing him at the top.
B
But he's a five star handcuff.
A
He's top shelf.
C
There you go.
A
Yeah, definitely five star.
B
If you have Kyron, he's a five star handcuff, folks, if you haven't already. Like What? He's only 16% roster. What are we doing, folks? What are we doing?
A
Like, we're passed up in the cuffing season, man. We're just in the cuffing season.
B
I know now. Yeah. Well, you know, Fitz's holiday schedule is different than other people's. Tyler Algier. Let's talk about him for a second. Another guy that, you know, we've talked about many times on the show. So I don't Want to stay too long? Give me the star rating for Tyler Algier here as we head towards. You know, I know some people started their playoffs who are not very bright. You don't start your playoffs where there's a bye week. Stop doing this. You're insane. It's not good fantasy football. But for the normal people out there who have another week of regular season to play Fitzy, what about Tyler Algier?
C
About three and a quarter stars, Joe, because I think he's just a notch behind Blake Corum in the handcuff hierarchy. It's not quite as good in offense. The Rams have one of the best offenses in the league. The Falcons offense is meh. But you know, and Alger, unlike Corum, does offer maybe a little bit of standalone value. Like he scored his eighth touchdown yesterday. He has eight touchdowns. He's probably going to hit double digit touchdowns.
B
That's crazy. Yeah, I didn't realize he had eight touchdowns.
A
That's absolutely.
B
Deborah, what are your thoughts on Algeria? What's his.
A
The exact same thoughts as Fitzy. Like I mean I just look at him in the same exact area code as Blake Corum and the same points Fitzy made. Like lesser offense but plug and play. The exact same thoughts you would have for Blake Corum and for everybody that has Brian Bijan Robinson in fantasy. I'm sorry, Tyler Algier is still a thing.
B
Yeah, it, it sucks. It's still a thing. So he's got as many rushing touchdowns as James Cook, as Jalen hurts, as Christian McCaffrey, as Javante Williams. Just putting that out. He's got more than Kyron Williams, more rushing touchdowns in Devon Hn, more Russian touchdowns and Travis Atn and more rushing touchdowns than Bijan Robinson who has five. Now I've thoroughly depressed everyone. Let's talk, let's talk about Bashel Tutin on maybe a better note, Pat, why don't you take this one first. Your thoughts on Bayshell Tootin. What's his star rating?
C
Yeah, I mean he's. I think he also falls into that handcuff class, Joe. Maybe a, maybe a three. Just the three is because I think if anything happened to ETN that La Quint Allen might wind up as the passing down back for the Jaguars.
B
All right, Debro, I know you're a big Tutin guy, but at this point in juncture in the season, what are your thoughts?
A
Same. It's. He's a three star back. The only thing I'll add on top of Fitz's analysis here is I'm not in love with the schedule for him. He gets two destinations with the Colts. The jets is a good matchup, but then the Broncos. So if anything were to happen to ETN lesser offense like Trevor Lawrence isn't playing amazing football. We know that, but I mean, really, it'd just be a volume bet and he would have to deal with Laquin Allen on passing downs.
B
All right, real quick, let's talk about some guys that drop Isaiah Pacheco. Pat, is it time to drop him 3 for 16 against the Dallas Cowboys? I mean. Oh, God, talk about another one. Dude, look, it was by far the most entertaining holiday weekend of football I think that we've had in a long time. Other than Thanksgiving Day games were all really entertaining in their own right. I thought that the, the Black Friday game was very entertaining, unless of course, you're an Eagles fan. But Pat, what were your thoughts here when you're looking at Isaiah Pacheco now, is he a guy you just jettison to the waiver wire for some of these high end handcuffs?
C
I think you probably can because I don't know if he passes Kareem Hunt and he. Pacheco came back from his knee injury in week 13, but he was a strict backup to Kareem hunt who played 42 snapshots to Pacheco's 20. And we just, we have not gotten the same Pacheco we got first two seasons. We're still waiting for that to come back.
B
And it's killed. The lack of run game consistency is killing the Chiefs. It's killing all the things they want to do.
C
You almost wish they would have taken Jonathan Taylor instead of Clyde Edwards Allaire.
A
In that kind of crazy.
B
Oh, gouch.
A
They're probably going to make up for when they, when they signed Breeze hall in the off season there.
B
Gosh, that was the same draft. Fitzy.
A
Yeah.
C
Taylor went early second.
A
Yeah.
B
Oh, God.
C
I believe the final pick of the first drop Wild.
B
Wow. All right. Taj Speers, Emmanuel Wilson, Rashad White, Sean Tucker. Obviously with Bucky back, Tucker and White could be drops, but, you know, I, I kind of want to hang on to Emmanuel Wilson. D, bro, I got to be honest with you. Like, that's another guy too. Like, I, I saw what he did in the offense and it was good enough to get me excited about it. And even had a couple carries there against the Lions where he looked good on Thanksgiving too.
A
Yeah, I mean, I think you're exactly right. Like all those other guys. Drop, drop, drop, drop, drop. I'll keep it. Emmanuel Wilson and then talking about rest of season schedule, two meetings with the Bears you can run on the be Ravens. So if anything were to happen to Jacobs, yeah, I definitely would want Emmanuel Wilson. He's in that handcuff tier.
B

Next up here, let's talk wide receivers. Jaden Higgins was our guy of the week last week. We still feel good about Jaden Higgins. Stero.
A
Yes, yes, yes, we absolutely do. And it he settled into this role where he's running like 60 to the high 60% of route share. He the target share wasn't amazing last week, but still he was wide receiver 31 1/2 point scoring. Since week 11 he's had two top 24 finishes and wide receiver 31. Last week he's in that wide receiver three slash flex conversation. Like I'll Fitzy, I'm curious where you're at on this man. If Adnai Mitchell and Jaden Higgins are both on the wire for me it's Higgins. Where are you at? Are you Mitchell over Higgins or where you at?
B
Okay.
C
Yeah, I think I'm, I, I just, I believe in Higgins a little bit more as far as the talent and I think he's got a more complete game and it's just sort of more a classic receiver and we've seen some, you know, drops and gaffes in Mitchell's game where Higgins has been pretty airtight and I just, but then again Mitchell's playing, he's going to play 80 plus percent of the offensive snaps and Higgins debro, I mean it's not even high 60%. It's, it's right at 60% basically with, with Nick Kaylee and it's frustrating man. I, I just see this guy. Yeah, we, we've, we know how you feel about him.
A
Not a fan.
B
Yeah, a lot of a Lot of ocs were taking a lot of heat this week, that's for sure. Let's talk about Luther Burden. 10% rostered here. Fitzy, any thoughts on Luther Burden?
C
Yeah, just another guy kind of limited by his snapshares. I mean, he's been up over 50% in his last two games, but just barely 50.8 and 50.6% in the next three weeks. He gets the packers, the Browns and the packers again, those are not the friendliest matchups. So I think, I kind of think we're out of time on the Luther burden project for 2025, but I. I want to get an early ticket for 2026.
B
Nice progressive rock band from the early 80s there, the Luther Burden Project, everybody.
A
I think they toured with Rush back in the day.
B
I'm pretty sure they opened for Rush somewhere. Yeah, in Saskatchewan, I believe. Devon Vale of the. I can't even. Devon Bailey of the New Orleans Saints had himself a good day against the Miami Dolphins. 8 for 8 for 93 and a touchdown Debro. Let's talk about Devon Valley for a second. What did you see out of him that might be something possibly sustainable the rest of the season? Oh, man.
A
I wanna, I wanna say yes, but this also feels like an Elik ao Manor type of situation where it's just bad offense got volume, outlier game. But look, toss a buck or two at him on Fab. I'm not going anything over that. The matchups upcoming are pretty good. Like he gets the Bucks, the Panthers and the Jets. I'm not worried about any of those secondaries. So if he lives in this 20 target show realm where he was last week, got a 21 target share, then can he be Flex Bible? Yes. If he were to fall off the map and everything goes to Olave and Juan Johnson and Tyler Shuck is terrible. Am I going to tell you that I'm surprised? No.
B
I felt bad for Tyler Shuck because that ball in the end zone he threw to Chris Olave, that somehow went through his hands. I know it wasn't the easiest catch in the world, but I mean, it literally went through his hands. Like you couldn't put that ball in a better spot. It was a good job by Tyler Shuck in a big moment at the end of that game. And that just. That just sucks for the kid. Just saying it sucks. It sucks. Little help, boys. Little help here and there. Fitzy, do you have anything to add about Vale?
C
I mean, he's at least a full time player and he's starting to see targets seven in week 12, eight in week 13. And the Saints aren't really a team that can lean on the running game. And as Debro said, the schedule the rest of the way looks pretty good. So I think you'd have to be in a pretty deep league to want to pull him though, and put him in your starting lineup. You know, something where you're, you're in a 12 or 14 team league with three wide receiver spots and a couple of flexes, then maybe Vale is a guy you could start.
B
All right. I think we all probably agree that John Metchie's still a guy worth adding, correct? I know it was a quiet day for him, was a big day for, for A.D. mitchell, but I still feel like Metchie's still a possession wide receiver that is worth some value in full ppr. Is everybody on. Still on board with Mechie?
A
Yeah, still on board, man.
B
Still on board.
C
Still a really narrow target tree with the Jets.
B
Right.
C
Basically Metchie Mitchell and you know, Mason Taylor. So like, even if you're desperate for help, I, I know he only had what, four for 19.
B
Yeah, it was a quiet day, but.
C
Yeah, but he also had eight targets.
B
Yeah, right, right. Yeah.
A
Still got a 24 target share. So, you know, I mean the box score chasers will miss him. A guy like, to your point, Joe, I think you probably can met you still out there, you could sneak, sneak him through for like a buck or two.
B
Yeah, I, I would agree with that. Especially off the quiet week. All right. Jalen Coker, speaking of sneaking guys through now Maybe there's another one off situation, I don't know. But he did have four catches and six targets. 74 for a touchdown. Fitzy, I mean, I still think Coker is a guy that you could sneak through here for a buck if you, if you're having some, you know, injury issues or you need some depth at wide receiver here, or you're just saying, hey, well maybe Coker rest of season is better than, I don't know, Malik Washington, who's on my bench or somebody like that. Just throwing out a random name out there. What are your thoughts on Coker? Fitzy?
C
Yeah, I mean there, there is a potential two week window here, Joe, because Coker's got the week 14 by and you're not playing him against Seattle in week 17, but in between, in week 15 and 16, the Saints and Buccaneers, pretty good matchups there. So. Possible, yeah, you could kind of stash him, see how things develop and maybe in a deeper league he's worth trotting. Out there in weeks 15 and 16.
A
All right?
B
One of the big supporters of Jalen Coker has been Derrick Brown over the years. So is Coker a guy to kind of slide through the waiver wire this week?
A
I guess maybe I'm the wet blanket here. I just. You get.
B
You can get him through the. After all these years, I'm not against him, okay?
A
My problem is not with Jalen Coker. My problem is with Bryce Young, okay? And I feel like we're getting Shamir decayed here. Where it's like the. The good game and then you pick him up and then it's like, oh, well, here's some duds. And it all comes back to the quarterback play. Like, dude, I don't know what to freaking do with Bryce Young. Like the games where it's like, oh, he should go off, he falters. The games where you're like, oh, well, he turned back into a pumpkin. Oh, look at that. There's three touchdowns.
B
Like, I don't know what to do.
A
With this freaking offense, man.
B
You know, in some states it's illegal to get Jim re DK'd. Just saying. We're still very. We're still very behind society. I feel like in a lot of ways, Fitzy. No, no, no reaction from that comment whatsoever. He was clearly ignoring me. He was clearly reading or looking at something else. I thought that was pretty good. Fitzy. Nothing. I was nothing.
C
It was good.
B
No, don't patronize me now. Stop. All right, let's get to a guy that I think is very much in play. He's basically free. He's available in every league, pretty much. Isaac Tesla, Amon Ross St. Brown has a low ankle sprain. That's a one to two week injury probably Right. They have a Thursday night game. It would take a miracle for Amon Ra to play. Now Khalif Raymond could also be a guy that kind of throws a wrench into things. Again, it's only Monday morning as of recording this, but Fitzy, let's talk a little bit about Tesla because it's one thing we've seen that the guy has a. He's a knack for making big plays. He's got an ear for the end zone too, right? Or nose for the end zone. He's got. He's got. He's got a whole face for the end zone. Right? Like I've got a face for radio, but I'm on YouTube and television all the time. Regardless, that guy finds the end zone. So, Fitzy, talk to me about Tesla and what he could do is in this one week against Dallas, in a game that should have a pretty high.
C
Total, a pretty favorable matchup, I would say pay close attention. The only thing is waivers in most leagues are going to run before we get more information on Amon Ra. I might be a little more bullish on Amon Ra's chances of playing before you do. It seems like in most cases in the NFL, guys who get low ankle sprains, they're back the next week.
B
But are they back on a Thursday night? That's the. It's a. If it were Sunday, I would agree with you.
C
But if it's Thursday, he also hurt himself on a Thursday.
B
Fair counterpoint.
C
So.
B
I hate when you're so much smarter than me. And it's every single week on this show, Pat. Every single week.
C
Yeah, it's just so. I don't know. It is strange, though, that he didn't come back generally, like low ankle. I mean, that I. I'd be on crutches for a month. But NFL players seem to generally play the next week off a low ankle sprain, which is amazing. So I wouldn't totally rule out Saint Brown. That's why, just even though it is an appealing matchup, if Amon Ra's out, I don't want to, like, empty the clip for a guy who might just be worth nothing.
B
I've played in a few flag football games with both of you, including Derrick Brown and dbro. You're a guy who wears the ankle weights, so this should be a question for you. I feel like, yeah, yeah, I'm not wrong. Gonna play this week.
A
I'm the guy that looks like Jason Whitten out there at the end of his career running that. I'm running in mud with my. My double ankle braces and my joints betraying me in my old age.
B
It's a scene, man.
A
It's tough, man. That's why I play alltime quarterback. But I gotta fight you for the battle.
B
Well, that's why we never played on the same team.
A
Yeah, well, that's. That's fair. But I do have an ear.
B
I got a prettier throwing motion. Let's go. I do.
A
I do have an ear for the Amazon.
B
So there.
A
But, dude, I'm a little bit higher on Tesla. Like, to me, it's not the AM part. It's the fact that I don't think Khalif Raymond plays. He didn't even practice last week. He's dealing with an ankle injury. So either way, you slice this Tesla is going to be in three wide receiver sets, and the matchup is fantastic. So for a guy that, like. And again, like, you have to be in a pretty deep league or be dealing with a ton of buy issues this week to sneak him into your lineup, but some people could be in this. This type of situation. The matchup is good, and Tesla's performed whenever he's been on the field, man.
B
All right, quick chat about some guys that drop. Jerry Judy dropped.
A
Gone.
B
You still have him. Trey Tucker drop.
C
I think so. Yeah. By the way, incredible talent.
B
Bowers catching that game. Incredible. The Puka catch, incredible. And then trailing Burke Burks.
A
Yeah.
B
On Sunday night, bro. That was an incredible. Like, I. I don't remember seeing three catches that good that would have been catch of the year catches in one day.
A
Alex Pierce also had a fantastic.
B
Yeah, the Pierce one was pretty good, too. What was the best. What was the most impressive of them to you? Oh, I think it's the Burks one, because I think visually, it's really hard to see where the ball is coming from because he had the defender in front of him and he has to get in the. You know, he's in the corner of the end zone. To me, I think that was the most impressive one.
A
I think situationally, you're probably right.
B
It's tough. I mean, the Bowers one was just like sheer will, and the Puka one was like a skill thing. But the perks one was just like, I felt like everything coming into one spot at the same time. Like, all those things converging Bowers.
C
Bowers had the ground to deal with on that. That's what made his so impressive. Like, it was. How did. How that ball didn't hit the ground.
B
Did you think he caught it? At first I was like, no. I was like, how did he catch that the way. Until I saw the replay and I went, oh, my God. Like, that was like, oh, oh, my God. All right, let's talk about some streamers. We want to go for a week.
C
Can we. Oh, can I. Can I run one last thing? Bayou Drop.
B
Sure thing.
C
Real interesting question. Just because I saw someone bring this up in Twitter. It was Matt Harrison, a guy who hosts a fantasy show on the radio up in Minneapolis. He suggested Justin Jefferson as a sabotage drop. Drop him. Let one of your opponents pick him up and run him out there and get few points.
B
Like, I. I think there's 4D chess, Pat. And then I think there's. Oh, yeah, for the Connect 4. And I think that's. That's Connect for us.
C
So, I mean, if, if you're a fatalist, I understand that the mentality for Vikings fans is. It is what it is after what they've been through.
B
But, but you get McCarthy back next week and like, I mean, but, but right.
C
Like that hasn't been good either.
B
It's better than.
C
Let's be honest, their QB play has been atrocious. But, man, if you dropped him and allowed an enemy to pick him up and potentially use him against you in the playoffs, it's interesting. Like, would you really be that a future Gold Jacket wearer couldn't hurt you in a playoff game?
B
I wouldn't be confident I would do that. No. That's why they wear gold jackets. I think that's kind of crazy.
A
I can't do.
C
That's the sort of move that could haunt you for like the rest of your. You would never hear the end of it from your league mates if you did that. And then Justin Jefferson beat you in a playoff.
B
He's a questionable start the rest of the year. I think that's a fair conversation.
A
Well, then you. But, but look at schedule, dude. The Commanders, the Cowboys, the Giants, and then now I, I.
B
Right. That's what I mean. The schedule is good enough. McCarthy. Look, man, it's, it's, it's not going to be great. We just have to understand that it's at this point and accept those problems. But, I mean, I'll tell you what. I don't think J.J. mcCarthy is the starting quarterback of the Vikings next year. And I, I wouldn't be shocked if they threw a ton of money at Daniel Jones. Like, I heard that rumor, and I don't think it's wrong.
A
That, that, that's insanity.
B
There's a reason why Daniel Jones isn't signing an extension because you know and I know that he's going to bid the Vikings and the Colts and he should against each other for his services. And somebody's gonna blink. I don't know who it's gonna be, who's gonna want it.
A
Colts are gonna pay him. I mean, dude, they signaled that with the sauce tray, with the two firsts. They're all in on this iteration. They're going to.
B
Yeah. But now the tricky part is now you have less cap space to get it done.
A
Yeah, they're still, they're. They're gonna move money around or something. Like, they're all in.
B
Something's gonna move around. But Vikings might be even more desperate coming off a losing season. You know, you can't go from winning 14 games from not to not making the playoffs and not have some desperation in you, you know? And who knows that? It's Justin Jefferson. The guy's like, I want out of here. Because guess what? That's coming next. That's coming next, folks. You. You watch. You watch. Maybe put them New England. That'd be nice. Drake May. Justin Lord.
A
Every week. What?
B
What?
A
Star wide. Every week we send to the Patriots.
B
Every week they've got cap space and a young quarterback on a rookie deal, which means, bro, I mean, in the words of CM Punk, tell me what I'm telling lies. Wide receiver. They're gonna get a. Or they're gonna get some. They're gonna get somebody.
A
That's who they're getting.
B
And the rest of the league. Oh, God, the Eagles.
A
Oh, I'm gonna get A.J.
B
Brown, man. Philadelphia. Twitter and Philadelphia, like social media was a blaze Friday.
A
Man. Nick Sirianni is going down with that ship.
C
Good luck. It wasn't. It wasn't Kevin Patullo who was failing to tackle Bears running backs hand off before they got into the secondary.
B
Before we get to the streamers, did you guys see that? That kid on the Internet who pointed out the. I don't know if you guys caught this on social, but he was pointing out that every time Saquon Barkley is in pass protection, he's looking around and every time it's a run, he's looking forward. He literally broke down the film of it. And I'm like, okay, if this kid did. And I watched. I watched a good. It was like a three minute video that the kid did on Tick Tock about it. Love the kids. Love the Tick Tock. And it was really smart. I was like, wow. So if this kid figured that out. I wonder if teams have all figured that out this year. And it's kind of like a pitcher in baseball tipping his pitches where he's just giving it away. So as soon as they see it, they know exactly what to do. I. If I find it again, I'll send it to you guys. But it was a fascinating little breakdown by this guy who was like, I don't know, like 19 years old. He's like, take a look at Saquon Barkley. And every time, here it is again here. And he kept doing it and showing it play after play in that game and the Bears in the backfield. Every time he's looking forward and every time his head moves before the play, every time they're in coverage, it's crazy.
C
Tipping pitches.
B
Yeah.
A
But like, I Never saw.
B
I don't know if other running backs do this, but, like, it was kind of interesting just throwing that out.
A
Very interesting.
B
Although I saw it, I can't remember.
A
Saquon could just, like, stare at the ground and it probably wouldn't even matter behind that offensive line right now because that's where he's going on those carries.
B
Say, Quan, what are you doing? Why can't you run the football anymore? God, so depressed. I'm gonna go to Wawa and get a large hoagie and just drown my sorrows.
A
Here we go.
B
All right, let's go to streaming quarterbacks of the week. D, bro, what do you have for week 14?
A
Tyrod Taylor, man, going against the Dolphins, their defense has improved, but Tyrod's got two QB1 finishes. He's coming off QB7 last week in fantasy. So we've talked a lot about this passing a game, this passing game, but I know it's gross, man, but he's got rushing potential and he's been a QB one. So let's go.
B
All right. Fitzy QB is a stream in week 14. Do my eyes deceive me who you've put on this sheet?
C
Yeah, it's Tyler Shock. And you know, I feel like the last couple of weeks, Joe, for when I rank quarterbacks, I should just throw the names in a hat. But basically, yeah, I mean, oh, Lamar Jackson totally bombs.
B
See, I learned my lesson. I've been watching this Lamar thing for a couple weeks now, and I had him pretty low.
A
I just.
B
I hit him at 12 or something.
A
He's not healthy.
B
He's not Lamar.
C
But like Jordan Love, one week the packers want to run it 40 times and the next second. Yeah. So I think you just look at defensive matchups. And the Buccaneers going into week 12, they were allowing the third most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. And while I don't think Tyler Schuck is actually good, he has put up 18 plus fantasy points in two of the last three games.
B
Okay, let's go to an RB. Excuse me, tight end. Sorry. This week to stream Fitzy, who do you have?
C
I've got Colston Loveland. I know he's sharing snaps with Cole Comet, which is annoying, but Loveland's talent is just shown through over the last month or so, and the Bears wide receivers are pretty much AWOL at this point.
B
Okay, tight end for you. Dbro. Week 14.
A
Britain Strange, man. It just comes down to like, you can just look at the cold schedule. There's a lot of these tight ends that are out on the waiver wire. Just. Just stream against the Colts. Tight ends against the Colts. It provides, man. Like, we talk about the Bengals on the show all the time. Tight end. Tight ends against the Colts definitely provides. Like, they're giving up the second most receiving yards per game to tight ends. Third most fantasy points per game. So that's why Brenton Strange is making the list this week.
B
All right, D. RO who is your favorite defense for this week to stream?
A
I'll go with the Buccaneers. And like, while Fitzy talked about, like, yeah, tower shuck, like, both of these things can be true. The quarterback can be turnover prone and give up sacks and be good for fantasy. So I'll play the Bucks defense here.
B
That's an interesting dichotomy we have to live by. Pathetic. Morris, I want a defense for this week.
C
Look, the Washington Commanders, I know this is not a good defense, but they did look like a professional operation against the Broncos on Sunday night. But we are targeting the vikings quarterbacks. And J.J. mcCarthy, in his six starts, has thrown 10 interceptions and taken 20 sacks. And obviously, if he's not ready to come back, we know what Max Brosmer looked like yesterday. So, boy, that, that pick six. I mean, that was one of the most preposterous pick sixes you will ever.
B
Wild, terrible. And I, you know, Kevin McCarthy brought him to the. The sideline. Kevin O'. Connell. Excuse me, Kevin O'.
G
Connell.
B
Bron's the sideline too. And he was like, hey. He kind of like, listen, kid, I was like, I know it's your first starting NFL. He had that. He had the talk with him. I don't know if you saw that. Like right after that moment where he kind of grabbed him by the shoulder print. I was like, hey, listen, kid, you know, okay, that was. That was about as it gets. Let's not do that anymore.
C
I'm probably gonna lose in. In. In analysts league. I'm gonna lose by two points in a game. I probably needed to make the playoffs because the Seattle defense scored like, dude points against me.
B
Do you remember Tom Hanks in A League of Their Own? When, you know, when the girl keeps missing the cutoff man? That's kind of like what Kevin o' Connell was looking like when he was holding. See, what you're trying to do is not throw the ball to the other team, son.
C
I think he completed. He had nine throws of 10 or more air yards and completed one of them. Brilliant.
B
All right, give me a kicker for this week. Fitzy, let's start with you, Will Lutz.
C
Ben dependable this season. He's kicked three game winning field goals, 27 fantasy points in his last two games, and he gets a dome matchup against the Raiders in Las Vegas this week. Not a bad thing when the calendar turns to December.
B
All right, Debro, how about a. A kicker for this week?
A
Evan McPherson, 8:12 and 24 points. Dude, last week if you had Evan McPherson and the Seattle defense, you would have gotten 54 points of fantasy. That is absolutely disgusting.
C
Can I add One thing about McPherson though? Just like, keep your eye on the weather because he kicks in Buffalo. Yeah, against the Bills. But I did check the long range forecast in Buffalo for Sunday. Pretty mild.
B
You did?
C
Moderate winds, 10 to 15 miles an hour and maybe some light snow. And that's it.
B
All right, don't miss out on these streamers and you can pick them up at using Waiver Central, the tool here. Fantasy pros, download the app, sync your leagues for free, and use Waiver Central to find the difference makers for week 14 and for your fantasy playoffs. All right, the top five for week 14 here, our last bye week of the season heading into the playoffs. Fitzy, give me your top five.
C
All right, I'm going to have to explain one of these. Jaden Higgins is going to be number one for me. Number two, I'm going to go with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, which Debro kind of stole out from under me as a streamer. Look, the Buccaneers defense not scoring a lot for fantasy lately, but on the way home, they get matchups against the Saints, Falcons, Panthers and Dolphins. Like, you can just pick up the Buccaneers and ride them the rest of the way. And you know you're going against Tyler Schuck, Kirk Cousins, Bryce Young and Tua, who leads the league in interceptions. Yeah, that is not a bad way to finish off the season. And then it's just I've got these running backs, Joe, it's Blake Corum, Tyler Algier, and then Bam. Nice.
B
Yeah, that makes sense. This is that time. This is that last chance to add these guys.
A
I agree.
C
It is.
B
I agree 100 dbro, give me your top 5 for week 14.
A
Leading off with Jaden Higgins and I guess is the. The matchup or I guess the. The duel to the death of the waiver wire pickups of the last two weeks. So Jay Niggin's number one. Adnai Mitchell was number two. Chris Rodriguez and Bam Knight living in the same area code at 3 and 4. And I'll toss Britain strange in here with the bye weeks and stuff. At number five.
B
