Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
This is the fantasy football podcast. It is me, Joey P. Joe P. Zappia and we have got today for you not one, not two, but three full rounds of the NFL mock draft. We are ready to rock and roll. We're gonna go through a hundred plus picks and we're gonna do it as quickly as possible. That way all of you can get around with the rest of your lives. And of course to help us go through and make all these picks, do you D bro, Derek Brown, the king of bros, Mr. Big Pot Energy, Andrew Erickson. And a man who's famous for our college football stuff over on the betting pro side of things, he's also on the Dynasty channel. He's all over the place and he's one of our newest full time members here in 2026 of the fantasy pros family. It's Seth Wilcock, everybody. Seth. Mr. Penn State, Mr. Worldwide, Mr. Central P.A. it's great to have you here on the channel. We're excited. You and I have never done a show together which is ridiculous. So I'm glad we put that to bed here. I'm very excited to work with you on this one. We, we have the first pick auto picked here on every single show. So talk to me about your Fernando Mendoza take at the top of the show because we get every, it's like, it's like the, the thing you have to do here, you walk in the show, you're the guest of the show that day. You have to talk about Fernando Mendoza and then we start the NFL draft after that. So talk to me about Fernando. You your take what he's going to do as a rookie here and what your possible look down the road is for him and his career.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, first off, very, very happy to be here with you guys today. Joey, you are always someone who just brings so much energy to a show so you know, very happy trading the hosting chair for the analyst chair. And yeah boys, we got so much mock drafting it into specifically these second and third round prospects that we really haven't got to touch on a whole lot on the program. So Looking forward to that. And as far as Fernando Mendoza, I think like yes there are opportunities where you can improve his game, Joe, but I think when you look like at the moxie and the intangibles, that is where Fernando Mendoza, the crunch time and what he can perform when the lights are the brightest that is what really speaks to me with Fernando Mendoza that whatever inefficiencies he might have in his game, I think he'll be able to quickly improve. And I mean he's got a set up for himself at the Raiders, man. He's got Clint Kupiak, he's got Ashton Genti behind him. An improved offensive line now too. So I see great things to come. He's someone that I'm investing in at the 102 in every super flex rookie draft. I'll have him on some redraft and best ball teams as well.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right. D Ro, how come you don't say nice things to me like Seth does?
Derek Brown (Debro)
I'm shaking my head because all he's doing is adding more helium to that Italian head. I, I, I love you but you know, Seth, Seth, just being nice, you know, as the new guy in the door here.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Well if you want to see Derek Brown and Andrew Erickson be mean to me. Make sure you check out our newest channel, the Tailgate. Just search tailgate NFL. Over on the YouTube side of things, we just dropped a terrific show about some of the prospect landmines. Some of those guys will be drafted here in this draft. We also talked about some of the latest news in the NFL. The stuff going on the Giants on the defensive side with Dexter Lawrence, we had that discussion and a whole lot more. Also which team really needs to win the NFL draft the most this year. Great conversations over at the tailgate. Go subscribe to our new channel out there on YouTube. Debro Erickson and myself getting it on there. Talking some football and also talking 90s action movies which was pretty great. All right, let's go to Derrick Brown here with the second pick here. So Debro, you on the clock for the New York jets here at number two. And this is a little bit different. It's been Arvl Reese here for the last couple mocks. So we just changing it up because we're bored or you change it up because you think something's different here?
Derek Brown (Debro)
I think there's a definitive possibility Ruben bank could hear his name called at the second overall pick, arm length be damned. You know, Aaron Glenn was also in Detroit when they selected Aiden Hutchinson who had seventh percentile arms. And I mean, the tape doesn't lie about Bain, the production doesn't lie. He's arguably the best pass rusher in this class and really a high floor prospect once you get past all the arm length stuff. So no Reuben Bain. To the jets, baby. Let's go.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right. The longest arms in this room. Andrew Erickson has those. He's got the third pick as well for the Arizona Cardinals. Cardinals are up on the clock. Andrew, what are you doing?
Andrew Erickson
Going to take Arvl Reese because Monty Osanvoort now gets the chance to hit on his favorite things. Number one, draft. A guy from Ohio State in the first round of the draft because that's what he loves to do. Drafted Paris Johnson. Drafted Marvin Harrison Jr. He loves his Buckeyes. And he's also getting an opportunity to draft a player at a premium position. Now, I know that Arvo Reese, the conversation has been, is he going to play off ball, linebacker, Is he going to be an edge rusher? I think ultimately he knows, everybody knows, want to get paid the most amount of money in the NFL, you got to be an edge rusher. So I think that's ultimately going to be his position. He's going to have a Micah Parsons type of transition to the NFL. And I think that the Cardinals can't pass on arguably the best defensive player in the draft. So they take him. They run up with the card to take him at three overall.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, that puts the Titans up next at 4. So Seth, that pick belongs to you.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah. Gonna go with the chalk here. Jeremiah Love, running back out of Notre Dame. The Titans were bottom three in rushing last season.
Andrew Erickson
And.
Seth Wilcock
And if Bob saw his time with the jets, told us anything, he wants to win by running the ball effectively, playing good defense. So I think adding the 20, 25 all American, the Heisman Trophy finalists as well to this backfield would give Cam Moore just a big stepping stone opportunity for year number two. Plus Tony Pollard and Ty J. Spears. Their contracts will expire after this season. So I think it just makes sense to go with BPA down in Nashville.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I agree that Love is going to go in the top five picks here. I don't think he gets out of the top five, even if that means somebody has a trade into it. And I also like that you're close enough Robert Sol to call him Bob. I think that relationship that you've created with him over the last 10 years is really shown out. So it's very important.
Andrew Erickson
You're calling Bob to his next up. Seth?
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Yeah. Do you do you, Seth, you call him Bob.
Andrew Erickson
His giant biceps.
Seth Wilcock
You just look, I. I did, you know, have my little Frisky jets phase. You know, I had the T shirts and everything made. So I think Bob and I are on a first name basis at this point. If I'm being straight.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Can we also talk about. I think Joe would win a Bob Sala lookalike contest. Can we talk about that?
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Yes, 100%, definitely want to agree with that. He and I. I could call him Bob because that's.
Andrew Erickson
They're not going to ID Joe if he walks into the Titans facility.
Derek Brown (Debro)
No, he could just walk in with
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Titans gear, especially in the summertime. DEO knows I get tan like this. I know I'm in Arizona one day, boom, that's it. Dude, it's sick.
Derek Brown (Debro)
He's out by the pool for 10 minutes, he's already tan. And I'm over here burning underneath the
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
umbrella in the dark. It's like, hey, Dbro, it's nine o'. Clock. You got to come in the house. Oh, there he is. There he is. I could see him. All right, let's go next year to the fifth overall pick here that belongs to the New York Football Giants and Derrick Brown.
Derek Brown (Debro)
If we're not adding to the trenches for the Giants live, let's give Jackson Dart a weapon, baby. Carnell Tate, wide receiver out of Ohio State. I think, you know, bringing back Jermaine or Luminor takes them probably out of the tackle market. So it's really just BPA and Jackson Dart. Let's give him weapons.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I agree especially with the slight concern about the health of Malik neighbors too, going into the season. I think this is probably a very smart thing. And look, now all of a sudden you've really got an offense you got to contend with with the New York Giants. If you have a healthy Malik neighbors, you have Tate, you got Scatter Boo. You got Jackson Dart who by the way, if you watch last year's program, I don't think there was a show higher on Jackson Dart than this show because between Derek Brown and myself talking him up, I think a lot of people are just missed the boat on Jackson Dart last year. The intensity that he brought when he played on the field. Again, everything's not about measurables. Measurables were pretty good too. But some of it's about the tape. And watch our new tape show too. It's going to be on our Twitch. Twitch TV fantasy pros. That's going to be out soon. All right, let's go to Cleveland here with Number six pick Andrew Erickson. How can the Cleveland Browns screw up this one?
Andrew Erickson
I mean they could draft, they could draft Ty Simpson. So I mean.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Stop, stop. That's it. We did a full 20 minutes on Ty channel. If you want to hear it, go listen to it. No Ty Simpson yet. It's too early in the show.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah, yeah, no Ty Simpson yet. Keyword. So at the sixth overall pick they're going to address the offensive line because I think ultimately they're going to go either wide receiver or tackle in this spot if they don't trade down. So I am changing up though. I'm not going with the Miami tackle. Him going with Spencer Fano, offensive tackle from Utah. There's been belief in terms of some of the reporting from Tony Pauline, NFL draft insider goat in my opinion he thinks that the Browns believe that Fano can play left tackle. So that's a premium position and I think that's one that really Browns are going to evaluate very highly. I think Fano has a chance to be the first tackle and first offensive lineman off the board because of yes he can play left tackle but the versatility of him being able to play all over the offensive line. Teams value that with okay, do we have as many blue chip offensive players? Maybe not. Let's go and get a guy that we have confident can play and be a starter no matter where we line him up on the offensive line. So Fano especially like 5 to 1, 6 to 1 to be the first offensive lineman drafted like those betting odds.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Washington commanders are up next. Seth Wilcock, that pick belongs to you and there's a certain linebacker still on the board who maybe shouldn't be.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah and I think ideally the commies in best case scenario would love to add another weapon for Jaden Daniels but with Love and Tate both off the board I think they go best player available. They add so many styles here. This is a guy five star prospect, one who came from some NFL lineage as well and certainly lived up to the billing at Ohio State. One of the best linebackers in the country the past two seasons and really great combine to super freaky guy and as good as Frankie Luvu was a couple seasons ago for D.C. in 2024. His contract will be up after this year and I think it just makes sense to go ahead and grab a young emerging linebacker rather than overpaying for, you know, an off ball linebacker that's going to be going for more than I think he's worth in the open market a year from now.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right. Somehow deeper ended up with the Saints at 8. So let's talk about this pick.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Well, Cam Jordan is out of the building. Saints definitely can use edge help. I'm going to give him David Bailey and stop the slide here. Edge out of Texas Tech.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Yeah, I'll look at. Get an edge rusher in the NFL draft early. That's a good one. That's. That's a good investment. Typically, that's where you need to be nowadays. Kansas City Chiefs at 9, Andrew Erickson. They could use a lot of different things. Which way you want to go with them.
Andrew Erickson
Now, the Miami tackle comes off the board here. Francis, Maui Noah, considered one of the top tackles in this class, specifically on the right side. I think that the Chiefs want to invest in their offensive line a little bit more. Again, dealt with some injuries last year, especially at the tackle spots. So right now, picking inside the top 10, you get an opportunity to draft a player that usually. The Chiefs never want to pick this high ever again. So you get a premium position. Offensive tackle. I like this pick here.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I do as well protect Patrick Mahomes, especially because he's getting older now. All right? We're in the 30s in that age range now, so it ain't the 20s anymore. So we got to change our focus here, and we got to start looking here to the future. Protecting the ass.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Heard it here first, people.
Andrew Erickson
Just wait till you're in your 30s, Seth. It's not fun.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, yeah, it's coming.
Derek Brown (Debro)
You'll be cooked like Ericsson.
Andrew Erickson
Just guess how many times I've injured my back the last year.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Multiple. I got Andrew. Andrew hit 30. He got married. He got a dog and a house, and he has back pain. I don't have a dog.
Andrew Erickson
What are. What are you talking about? I don't have a dog.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
You have a dog.
Andrew Erickson
Soon.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
It's coming. You have a soon.
Seth Wilcock
You have a dog contract.
Andrew Erickson
I don't have a dog.
Seth Wilcock
Pregnant with said dog.
Andrew Erickson
I don't.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
That's right. He also got a John Deere lawnmower, too, even though his patch of grass in his Massachusetts area home is this big.
Seth Wilcock
No, Husky. You ain't running a Husky up there. Ericson, what are you doing? Come on.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
You got a golden right, right?
Seth Wilcock
Geez.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Look at you. So America gotta be very, very much. All right, let's go to Seth here for the pick at 10. Cincinnati Bengals are up next here. Obviously, they can go defense, but you went another way with this pick here. So let's talk about this one.
Seth Wilcock
This was probably the toughest pick in this entire draft. To make for me because I think the Bengals desperately could use some like Caleb Downs controlling this secondary. However, I do not trust the Bengals to make the right decision. And since he was also another team that was bottom four in the league in rushing this past, Brown had the 24th best run block rating for him this year. And like Dalton Reisner, man, like, fun story when he was drafted, you know, pretty late compared to what we thought he was going to go in the draft was a really good player, but I think he's really on his last leg as a starting guard. So removing the homer bias, I think Vega Yoane is really one of the best, most surefire prospects in this draft. He's earned All American First Team Big Ten honors after only allowing a whopping zero sacks this past year in 2025 in the Big Ten Conference. Nonetheless. So I think you're killing two birds with one stone here for Cincy. Let's improve that run block and get Chase Brown out loose a little bit more often. Some big gaping holes. And let's get a little protection for Joe Burrow. Who? I don't know, man. I don't know. I don't know if he loves football anymore. After what we've been seeing from in
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
the last couple years, could you blame him?
Derek Brown (Debro)
I can't blame him.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Crappy out of me every single year. I might not love football as much as I do, but I sit in this chair so I don't have to
Seth Wilcock
worry about that back, though.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
That's right.
Seth Wilcock
Bring the love back.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
That's right. Protect Joe Burrow. All right, so if the Dolphins are here at 11 Debro and Caleb Downs is on the board, this is quite a coup for the Dolphins if they can select him.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Yeah, I mean, I think, like, if you're looking the Dolph looking at the Dolphins or you're their front office and you're saying, okay, we want to build through the trenches. This is probably one of the worst runouts to begin the NFL draft for them, but this is just bpa, man. Let's stop Caleb Downs. I don't think he gets out of the top 10, top 12 of the NFL draft. Like, Dallas is probably his floor. So I'm going to send him to the Miami Dolphins. Caleb Downs, safety at Ohio State.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Speaking of Dallas, this kind of falls in their lap here at 12 because none of the big corners have gone quite yet, Andrew, and they could certainly use some help there.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah. So I'm going to go. Mansoor Delaine, cornerback from lsu now. I hope this doesn't actually happen in reality because I laid a lot of juice for Delane to be a top 10 pick, and this is going to make me very sad on draft day if he falls to 12. I don't think he's going to fall this far. He's going to get past the Giants commander, Saints, Chiefs, Bengals. He's going to get past all those teams.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Chiefs is the one, too. That could be so I think he's
Andrew Erickson
going to be top 10 pick. But that being said, he falls here to Dallas and this is a easy pick for them to make. They need cornerback. He's the top guy on the board.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
The Rams at 13 with a pick acquired from the Atlanta Falcons. Seth, what do the Rams want to do here at 13?
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, I've been mocking tackle for them pretty much all offseason long, but with the top two off the board right now, I think Jordan Tyson is going to be the pick here specifically because, look, I mean, this Puka Nuku situation, like some alarm bells are going off in this organization, right? Especially now because they're at a crossroads where they have to pay him soon. And then Devonte Adams is also going to be a free agent after this season as well. And because of the injuries, like, I think there's an argument to be made that the most polarizing player in this draft is Jordan Tyson. I'm just not buying the smoke, though, that he's going to fall much further than this, because I truly think that this is one of the best technicians we've seen in a while come into the NFL draft specifically in this class as well. And he's just 21 years old. So I think with the Rams window starting to close a little bit with Mass Stafford at quarterback, Sean McVeigh calling the shots here. And we've also had Sean McVeigh in the past be very, very complimentary to Kenny Dillingham when he was the Oregon offensive coordinator, saying that, hey, I take a lot of what Oregon's doing and apply that into my NFL scheme as well. So I think he is going to grab arguably the best player Dillingham has ever coached in Tempe and go ahead and grab him a Jordan Tyson at receiver.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Yesterday on Tailgate, we had a great conversation about Jordan Tyson, too. We talked about those injuries. We talked about some of that tape, too. So again, if you want more information on Tyson, like a bigger breakdown, more like 15 minutes of talk again, Tailgate, go check it out. It's also on the podcast feed, too, but make sure you go to the YouTube channel to watch it too. We appreciate you subscribing there. Speaking of the tailgate yesterday on that show, the Baltimore Ravens were the team that Debro said had to have the best draft ever. A lot of pressure on them now without their old ball coach around anymore. So at 14, how do the Ravens start that process?
Derek Brown (Debro)
Derek, they're going to select J. McCoy, cornerback out of Tennessee. Chidobe Woozier and Marlon Humphrey are impending free agents after this season. Plus, man, like they. They need to hit a home run in this draft. And I think McCoy, if he hits a ceiling, I mean, he's competing with Mansur Delaine as the key, the CB1 of this class. I still easily think it's Delane, like not even close between these two guys, considering his versatility. But McCoy can man up. Baltimore was top 12, a man coverage rate. It's just a good fit.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, Erickson, you're up next for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. What do they do with this pick?
Andrew Erickson
I think they're going to go with an edge rusher. However, who the Edge 4 in this class is kind of a complete mystery to me. Feel pretty strongly about the big three between Ruben Bane, David Bailey and Arvell Reese. But then that fourth guy, it's a whole bunch of players that kind of come into consideration depending on scheme fit. So for me at 15, I'm going to go with Akeem Ezador, edge rusher from Miami, Tampa Bay. If you look at some of the betting stuff, look at my team needs article, it's. And if you just listen to the GM talk, we need an edge rusher. We need someone who can get after the quarterback. So I think that's where they're going to ultimately go in the draft. And maybe it isn't Mezador, but for me, in this exercise, that's going to be the pick.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, next up here after Andrew selection, Seth comes back with another pick for the Jets. Now, look, the jets certainly didn't have any interceptions last year, but they also didn't have a lot of sacks. They were the second lowest sack total of the year as well for any NFL team over 17 games, just 26. The only team worse was the 49ers with 20, by the way. Yikes. So let's talk about where the jets go here to get better on defense with this next pick. Seth.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, I think it was four turnovers. Something zero for the Jets.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah, Zero picks.
Seth Wilcock
Crazy. Well, yeah, but like, I feel like you could almost walk into four turnovers as an NFL, right? I mean, Dexter Lawrence had More picks
Derek Brown (Debro)
than the jets with the defensive head coach too, right?
Seth Wilcock
Yeah. And so Derek helped at the top here and we added Reuben Bain at number two overall. But they still have that huge hole to fill a cornerback after trading Sauce Gardner out. They did bring in Nishan Wright, but really just a one year band aid type of player. So I think they're gonna go after AJ Terrell's younger brother Avian, who this guy has been in the thick of competitive ACC ball since he was a freshman. So I just think the jets are going to add to this secondary and in my opinion, who is the second best cornerback in this class. I don't want to mess around with someone like Nicole McCoy, no offense, who's coming off an injury. I'm going to go with Terrell, a guy who we've seen big brother, little brother work out a time or two in the NFL. So let's do it here in the secondary.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I think that's the earliest we've seen the Aven go in.
Andrew Erickson
Didn't he get banged up though at his combine? Didn't, didn't. I thought I heard. He heard his hamstring.
Seth Wilcock
He's not coming off the atl.
Andrew Erickson
He heard his hamstring.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I was going to say ran for a slow 40. So, you know, let's see.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Perfect pick for the Jets. Yeah. 17 Lions are up next. Derek Brown, you have the selection.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Going to give the Detroit Lions a long term answer. Left tackle. Let's keep Panay on the right side. We know he's really freaking good there. Let's give Monroe Freeling, offensive tackle out of Georgia.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
There you go. At 18, the Minnesota Vikings.
Andrew Erickson
Erickson, Kenyon Siddiq, that's who I'm going tight. And is it really curveball though now the show started. So Sadiq, I'm very interested where he ends up going because he's projected in this kind of 10 to 20 range. I know the Panthers are like the popular chalk spot for him, but they're picking at the end of that range. So is he even available when they get to pick at 19? Why isn't Sadiq an option for the Minnesota Vikings? Where does this offensive come from? The Sean McVay type of style? What does Sean McVay like revolutionize in the NFL with multiple tight end sets? Oh, let's get guys out that can block. They can do a bunch of different things. TJ Hawkinson is still under contract for one more year, but in the future, what's more upside than a player like Kenyon Sadiq, who hasn't even turned 21 years old yet. So I'm looking at like 15 to 1 odds for Sadiq to be like, I. I feel like there's a lot of teams that are alive that could take. Like, why not take it? Like, what's the reason for not taking a shot on Kenya Sadiq if he just ends up being there? There's not another version of him. Oh, well, we can get someone later in the draft that's like, Sadiq. I don't. That guy doesn't exist.
Seth Wilcock
So he doesn't.
Andrew Erickson
I think if teams are actually going BPA Sadiq's gonna hear his name sooner rather than later.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
And look, Hawkinson, you're giving up a great point too. He's got one year left on his deal and he hasn't exactly been the picture of health throughout his entire career either. So you could throw that out there as well and you give yourself a little cushion for the kid to kind of figure things out there. If you start slow a little bit. But I don't hate this. I. Outside the box. And I like where your head's at, Erickson. And if he ends up in Minnesota with Kevin o', Connell, I think that makes it very exciting. For a fantasy perspective, Seth, what can the Carolina panthers do at 19 that would be exciting?
Seth Wilcock
Yeah. So truthfully, I've been mocking the Carolina Panthers to take TJ Parker all off season long. I think they need one more legit pass rusher to take that front up another level. However, with how loaded this 2027 quarterback class is going to be, I think they have to give Bryce Young every excuse not to succeed here. Right. Makai Lemon falling this far, it's a no brainer for me. The Cokeheads out there, they're going to be pretty disappointed. But Jalen Coker's contract is up after this season and Dan Morgan, not a guy who's, you know, not afraid to throw it out on the table, pull the trigger at wide receiver in his first round. So I'm lower on Lemon than I think the consensus is. But I still think this guy 20, 25 blue to cough award winner and someone that can just give him a more threatening option. Primarily working out of the slot with Tedro McMillan out there as the X.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
The biggest Cokette I know. Dbro love Jason for years. At 20, he gets to pick for the Dallas Cowboys. A pick from Green Bay originally. So Dbro, what do you want to do here with this pick for Dallas
Derek Brown (Debro)
Cowboys Would be running the card. You would see Jerry sprinting to the podium. If he could still do that.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
What I'm going to do is I'm going to make this.
Seth Wilcock
I saw in land, man, he was moving pretty good. He was moving pretty good in long lamb, man.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I'm, I'm gonna make this next pick. I'm gonna run, I'm gonna get. I'm gonna get my Jazzy. I'm gonna go as fast as I can with that Jazzy and I'm gonna run around. I haven't done Jerry in a long time.
Derek Brown (Debro)
You haven't done Jerry. I was like, I was very happy to see, see you dusted off.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I told Michael Irvin, stay away from my coke, you cokehead.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Gollum makes an appearance on the show. But they would be running up the card to. To select Dylan, the here safety out of Oregon. Minnesota bypasses him. Dallas would say, oh, yeah, got a big D, baby.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Let's go. All right. The Pittsburgh Steelers. I believe someone in this room is excited about this pick. Andrew Erickson, 21. You get to make it though.
Andrew Erickson
KC Concepcion, wide receiver from Texas A and M, goes to the Pittsburgh Steelers, following in the long list of wide receivers drafted in one with two guys ahead of them on the death chart. And we get upset about it for fantasy, but then we realize it doesn't actually matter and the talent always ends up coming out on top of the. So there's a chance that Michael Pittman is just cooked at this point with this back injury that he's been dealing with and potentially playing with. DK Metcalf is a fake alpha. We all know that at this point. So that's not a hot take. How is he? I just wanted to hear. He's not a. He's not a real alpha. He's good, but he's not a real.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Right, you're right.
Andrew Erickson
It's been like that.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Sorry.
Andrew Erickson
J. Brown was the alpha at Ole Miss. Tyler Lockett would routinely just put up the exact type of production DK Metcalf, he would go 30 picks after Metcalf in every fantasy draft. And they put up the exact same stat line every single year. That's what happens at all. You is eat candy, right? With DK Metcalf. Sorry. Level amounts of energy.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I wish I look like DK Metcalf. And the amount of candy I eat, I mean, it's all about like, how do you feel about that pick? Mr. Steeler, Mr. Wilcock. How do you feel about that going another wide receiver after you're acquired one of the off season free agency or they're in the trivia trade period? At least.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, I mean, I would have loved if we didn't trade George Pickens away for a third round or a year ago. We could have just solved that issue up front. But, you know, I'll. I'll take it. I'm not as high on Casey Concepcion as my boy D. Bro is down there, but yeah, like, I'm fine. I'm kind of old school though. And like, I just think Big Mike McCarthy coming in to his hometown of Pittsburgh and a Pittsburgh based draft. I think he's just going to keep it boring and go with like a tackle. But I think based on how the tackles are going right now, it might have been one of the best players available. So I appreciate that. Appreciate that. Ericsson a little more fun out there in the bird this year maybe.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I appreciate Erickson just throwing shade at DK Metcalf. That was great. I didn't appreciate that the first time. Good times. Chargers Next Wilcock at 22. What do you have?
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, I just mentioned TJ Parker. He's the pick here for Jim Harbaugh. The Chargers all of a sudden. Pretty thin defense then, right? Never really find. Found a true replacement since Joey Bosa left a year ago. Khalil Mack, also 35 at this point. Free agent in 2027. Parker was a freshman All American. Finished fifth in the country in tackles for loss as a sophomore as well. I'm a more of the mindset. I know a lot of people kind of been fading him coming into the process here, but I think the regression this past year was not on Parker. I think it's more that Tom Allen came over from Penn State defensive coordinator and all of a sudden we got Peter woods running exclusively from the inside instead of giving him a running mate on the outside. That could really, you know, help draw off some of those double teams from him. So for me, I'm all in on TJ Parker. I love this entire 2023 Clemson class. Dabble up boys. Dabble up.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
23 Philadelphia Eagles DBRO.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Well, we know the Eagles offensive line is quickly getting old and injured, so let's give them a long term piece. Kaden Proctor, offensive lineman out of Alabama.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Okay, the Cleveland Browns at 24. All right, Erickson, what do you have?
Andrew Erickson
Foreshadowing quarterback Alabama, Ty Simpson. The Cleveland Browns have been doing extensive work on Ty Simpson throughout this draft process. Could that mean that he's either going to take him in round two, maybe, but we're taking him here in round one? Can't let him fall to the Arizona Cardinals.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Woof.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
So it continues. So I feel like dark Kermit, you know, like that meme, you know, that's what I feel like right now. It's gonna let that sink in for a little while. Boy, oh boy. Sorry, Cleveland Browns fans. Oh, look, maybe it'll work out. Maybe he'll buy, maybe, maybe not. Sure anything's possible. Chicago Bears 25 Seth, back to you. Let's clear the pallet here.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah. So the Bears secondary, it actually got a lot better late last season. They got Jalen Johnson back, they got Kyler Gordon back for healthy for a little while. And their rushing defense though, just continued to be an absolute mess. They gave up 134.5 yards per game. That's the second six most on the ground. And Caleb Banks, to me, this guy was an absolute stud. I think we're talking about potential top 10, top 15 pick if he wasn't injured this past season. Really anchored Billy Napier's defense down there in Florida in 23 and 2024. He had that huge combine performance as well. I think he's ideal size and athleticism build to really play into Dennis Allen's 4:3 scheme alongside there Dexter, who's been continuing to come on Caleb Banks. Actually I just got him today plus 2:50 to be a first round pick. I think that's some of the easiest money out there made in the draft this year.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Buffalo at 26. Debro, you're up.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Let's give Josh Allen arguably the best set of skill position players around him. Let's continue to add and put them over the top. Hopefully with my wide receiver three of this class. Denzel Boston, wide receiver out of Washington, he would fit so much of what this offense needs. A true man, coverage beater, a guy with body control. He could be everything that Buffalo hoped they were drafting when they got Keon Coleman.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I'll say this hot take or not, if this happens, I will be drafting way more Denzel Boston at his ADP than I will be drafting DJ Moore at his Hell yes. I like Boston.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Absolutely agree with that.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I think he's a better attractive. You have to be patient. Might be slow in the first six weeks, but I think the last six weeks of the season you'll be glad you did all right. 20. And it's not that you don't don't like DJ Moore. I do. I still think it's a good fit. There's. I still think DJ Moore's got something left in the tank, but I like Boston that much. D bro knows that film shows. All right. San Francisco is up Next. Andrew Erickson, 27. I did mention there was one team that had fewer sacks than the jets, so maybe they want to get after the quarterback once in a while.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Welsh, cover your ears.
Andrew Erickson
Well, the 49ers did have basically 80% of their defense on injured reserve, so they do get a little bit of excuse for that. Whereas the jets just traded away all their best defensive players. So although I'm always torn with the 49ers when I have to make their picks because I'm always drawn towards the tackle. Where you look at Trenton Williams, his contract, his age and the fact that the offensive infrastructure falls off a cliff when he's not there. But historically speaking, Shanahan has usually made the most out of later round draft picks. When it comes to these offensive linemen, they really haven't invested a ton in the offensive line when it comes through the NFL draft. Whereas every year it seems like, oh, they just drafted another defensive tackler, edge rusher in the first round and that's what's really helped this defense be dominant more often than not. So I think they just reinvest in the defensive line here. Cash's Howell, edge rusher from Texas A
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
and M. All right, Houston at 28. Seth, this pick has been discussed a lot. Some people think they should go offensive line. I think they should go D tackle. Personally. I think that's where you start if you're the Texan. So which way do you want to go?
Seth Wilcock
I'm completely in line with you. I've heard DBRO mention it before in these mocks too. I think that interior defensive line need is as big, if not a bigger hole than the offensive line for Houston here. So it's Peter Woods. We're just going to go right back to that 20, 23 freshman class is another five star recruit from it. Parker Terrell, everyone from this class is delivered at from a collegiate standpoint. And I think again, that regression this past year that we saw that's pushing woods this far down in this mock draft is because Tom Allen trying to get a little crazy. Only play this guy inside when he can go inside and outside. I think though, with Houston he will mostly play on the inside because he does have Willie Anderson Jr. Daniel Hunter coming off the boundary. However, it does give them an option. Hey, we can mix up our looks a little bit, we can move him to the perimeter and we can give one of these studs a little bit of a breather as well.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Miami up at 30. Erickson, where do you go? I'm sorry no, wait, 29. Pardon me? 29. First Kansas City Chiefs Dbro. Don't mean to piss over you. What? Either way,
Andrew Erickson
whatever.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I mean, it's not really me. You're just. You're just messing over the Kansas City Chiefs. So.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Yeah, back to Kansas city chiefs at 29.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Yeah. Well, Andy Reed and company are going to take a ball of clay to sit here and help out their pass rush, which we talked about. Teams that can't get sacks. The Chiefs eighth few sacks in the NFL last year. Let's give them Keldrick Falk edge out of Auburn.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I love the name Keldrick. Can't get enough of that. All right, 30. Miami Dolphins are up again. Now Andrew Erickson, you can make your
Andrew Erickson
pick going to go with Blake Miller, offensive tackle from Clemson. The Dolphins GM has talked about. We want to build from the inside out. We want to build up the trenches. So I think that this sets up the offensive line well for Malik Willis in this year, but then also next year if they have to, then take another quarterback if that's the direction they want to go in. So getting a future starting right tackle to pair with Patrick Paul, who I think has been pretty good since they drafted him a couple of years ago. So Blake Miller is the pick for the Dolphins.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
If they came away with Miller and downs, I think there'll be a very successful Day 1 for the Miami Dolphins. And that was my pick of the teams, by the way. Go watch my full breakdown about that on tailgate about why the Dolphins really need to cross.
Andrew Erickson
I couldn't wait for me to pick a little bit more my guy for the Dolphins because.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, I'm excited to hear what Seth a fresh voice has for our New England Patriots at 31 won't be case.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, give me, give me Omar. Give me Omar Cooper Jr. Here at IU. I think the Pats, Joe, they lost the super bowl because of main. Two main reasons. One, I think they were mismatched on the offensive line and also out wide right. And Omar Cooper Jr. He's a guy who we really saw his game evolve from a collegiate standpoint where early on he was really more of a deep threat. Stayed at iu, developed under Kurt Signetti and really became a more complete wide receiver this past year. I'm of the mindset like him and Elijah Serat. I think they're both really solid wide receivers. Cooper, though, is the IU wide receiver. Getting first round buzz from all these insiders that I really respect some of their opinions, some of their reporting as well. So I don't think, you know, these guys are out there hobnobbin with NFL head coaches and they're actually, you know, putting their, their head to the ground and doing some good work out there. So Omar Cooper Jr. To New England,
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
a man who's always out there hobnobbing Derek Brown. 32 Seattle Seahawks are up. Let's close out round one. What do you have, Derek?
Derek Brown (Debro)
I can't see this guy falling out of the first round. And I think there's a definitive need here with Caleb Banks. He's been my kind of my chalk pick for Seattle. I'm going to go with Kaden McDonald, defensive tackle at Ohio State.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, so that's round one in the books. Just like that. So fast. Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
get round two started here. Derek left us off, which means we go to Andrew Erickson to begin things for us at pick number 33 and guess who's up again. It's the New York jets with a million picks this year.
Andrew Erickson
Back again on the clock. They're going to go with Emmanuel McNeil Warren safety from Toledo. You look at the betting odds, he's minus 235 to be a first round pick. So there's a good chance that he's not even available at 33 but if he is his name is not going to be on the board for much longer. Just more defensive help for New York
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Arizona Cardinals at 34. Seth, that pick belongs to you.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah. Give me a great offensive tackle here in Caleb Lumu for them. Elijah Wilkinson currently the Cardinals right tackle and that's not really something you should be particularly proud of. Lumu Moo though freshman All American All Big 12 tackle in 2025 did not allow a sack despite playing against some of these great pass rushers. Right. The David Bailey's of the world. So for me I think he's a first round pick. You look at some of these prediction market odds right now he's like minus 600 to be a first round pick. So they agree so as well. So I think great value for Arizona at the top of the second.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Next up at 35, the Tennessee Titans. And Deborah, I really like where you're going with this one dude.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I think this is just hand and glove fit. You look at the secondary that the Titans are have already assembled so far. It's a lot of these guys that can not only play inside at the nickel but outside the versatility, the fact that these guys could play man coverage, they're feisty. D' Angelo Pons, the question about him is not the tape, it's not the production, it's the, it's the size and so if you put Alante Taylor and Cordell Flot on the outside or you just mix and match these guys around the formation. D' Angelo Pons, if he's a nickel the size isn't that big of an issue. But I think Bob Sala, we can call him here. Bob Sal is going to love the Ponds.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Friend of the show Bob. All right, let's go next for the Las Vegas Raiders at 36 Erickson, what
Andrew Erickson
do you have got their QB of the future. Now let's get him some protection on the offensive line. Max Ianature, offensive tackle from Arizona State. Again I'm just trying to pair these right tackle prospects with staple left tackle teams and players. So another pairing with Colton Miller who's hopefully back from his injury. Get Francisco Mendoza his Francisco Mendoza Angels.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I think Fernando you're gonna take so Much heat in the YouTube channel because it's a long day. And you said Francisco Mendoza. And I want to leave it in the show because it's Fernando Francisco. I'll tell you what, a year or two in Vegas, he might be Francisco Mendoza.
Andrew Erickson
That's true.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
We all know the neck tattoo is just a year or two away.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I can't wait for the live stream of him and Crosby. I think the tattoo parlor. I'm just waiting for it. It's gonna be wonderful.
Seth Wilcock
My Fernando.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
If they make the playoffs, him and Crosby should get a tattoo together.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I would love to wonder, by the
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
way, did you know he's not going to the. To the NFL draft? I just heard this this morning. He's gonna stay home.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I. I respect that, considering everything and his mom and everything like that.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Well, his mom traveled so much for all those games too. That's. That's a lot. Big respect to do all that and just kind of be at home and be comfortable and celebrate with the family. So bummer for the NFL, you know, for that moment for the number one pick. But. But nice moment there for his family. So he said, he's so nice. Why can't you be more nice, Andrew? Why can't you be nice like Francisco? All right, let's go to 37.
Andrew Erickson
I gave him a fun nickname. That's great. Okay.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I feel like that one's gonna stick. That one's gonna stick.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
By the time we get to the year five, he's just Cisco to the Giants at 37. Seth, you're back on the clock.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, give me Colton Hood here. Cornerback out of Tennessee for him. They use that first pick on wide receiver. A little bit of a luxury there. So I think they address the defense because they have one of the best fronts in the league. Right. They just need a secondary to match it because too many times, whether it was in the division or just in the conference, we'd see these opposing teams light up the Giants, and all of a sudden, Jackson darts going out there in the second quarter, down 20, and he has to try to make a comeback here. So I think adding a cornerback here when your team's top cornerback is Greg Newsome on a one year deal is a really, really smart move. Hood's a solid cornerback. He had bounce around a bit in his career, but. But played some really good ball for Deion Sanders and then Josh Hypo over the last two seasons.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Houston at 38. D, bro, you're up.
Derek Brown (Debro)
We could flip these two picks for Houston, and I still think that neither one of them been wrong. Like Chase Besantes, guard out of Texas A and M is getting a little bit of first round buzz right now. And the two biggest needs arguably on this depth chart are D tackle and offensive line. So let's give him Besantis here.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Cleveland at 39. Erickson, we got them.
Andrew Erickson
Ty Simpson. Now let's get Simpson's number one wide receiver from last year, or maybe not his number one wife, but one of his wide receivers. Jeremy Bernard, wide receiver from Alabama. I think that the the Browns might look at a player like Bernard and think, okay, let's just get a guy that we feel good about. Jack of all trades, master of none. He's met with the Browns during the pre draft process. He's got a low career drop rate, which, I mean, if you watch Browns football last year, that was a big problem with them. Just ask Jerry Judy. Just dropping passes left and right. So Jeremy Bernard is the pick here. I think the NFL is probably higher on him than fantasy circles are just because he's a good receiver that can do a lot of different things. Versatile, but I don't think he's elite by any means. So he becomes the pick here. They get tie sips and yeah, they pair him with a guy he already knows how to throw the ball to.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, Seth, you're up at 40 for the Chiefs.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, I think the Chiefs are honestly live to take an offensive weapon as early as that ninth overall pick. But they did go with the value and big Fran in the first, so. So I'm gonna leave them here to take eli stowers at 40 overall. Look, Kelsey's back for one last ride at least. So I think let's get Stowers. Someone's a bit of a tweener in the building now. Let's help him improve as a run blocker. And Noah Grain, Noah Gray, fine prospect. I've had him on way too many dynasty, taxi squads and just regular teams for a while now. But I think stowers is the 2025 John Mackey Award winner, consensus all American. He's produced across multiple programs. And look, I get Sadiq is the better overall prospect when you can, you know, put everything together. But I actually think Stowers is the better receiver and I think he's the one who fancy managers should actually be targeting specifically with this landing spot.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I heard some teams are looking at Stowers as just a wide receiver too. I was here.
Seth Wilcock
I heard that too. Yeah, yesterday.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Cincinnati at 41. Debro Europe.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I have talked about it ad nauseam about how bad this linebacker room is for Cincy. So let's just keep adding bodies and down to wins at that. That Anthony Hill linebacker out of Texas. I'm sorry you're headed to Cincy.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Don't be sorry. He's going to the NFL. He's gonna Skyline Chili man Chili and plenty of guys.
Derek Brown (Debro)
So welcome on the field a ton.
Seth Wilcock
Welcome to Bumble, guys.
Andrew Erickson
Make sure you look both ways before crossing the street to get to the training facility.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Yeah. Fair.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah.
Andrew Erickson
42 New Orleans Erickson CJ2K Chris Johnson, cornerback from San Diego State. He has met with the Saints already during the pre draft process. It fits a team need for New Orleans for them to draft a cornerback and he's one of my favorite bets in terms of someone sneaking into the back end of the first round. I posted this in the betting pros discord last week. It was plus 550 for him to be a first round pick. It's now moved to plus 185. So this may not work out in our favor, but we'll always have the clv. It's okay.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
That's right.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Love it.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Miami. Miami's up next, Seth at 43.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah. So the Dolphins, they get their safety and downs early. They go tackle with Blake Miller, last pick and now I think they get their potential edge of the future. And Zion Young coming out of Mizzou, he had a wild 17 tackles for us this past season. So I just think that this would give the fans a really nice defensive front when you factor in they already have Chop Robinson, they drafted Kenneth Grant last season who didn't show a ton as a rookie and now they also signed Zach Sealer and now they bring in Young. So that's a pretty dang good looking front for a team that is certainly rebuilding right now and it has a ton of picks left to go.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Dang. Watch the language here. Yeah, family show. No wonder why they age gate us. Dbro44 for the Jets. Another pick for the Jets. Boy, I'm gonna give the Jets a
Derek Brown (Debro)
dang good player, Joey. Let's give him Jacob Rodriguez since I'm like the Oprah of linebackers right now. Jacob Rodriguez, linebacker out of Texas Tech. Demario Davis isn't getting any younger. Would be a very, very good voice in that room to allow Jacob Rodriguez to hit the ground running in the NFL.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Ravens at 45.
Andrew Erickson
Erickson Keelan Rutledge, offensive guard from Georgia Tech. Another player who's getting some first round buzz. And when I see offensive linemen, I see guards. If Your last name is Rutledge. I think they are a perfect fit, especially for a team like the Ravens who have a hole at the interior offensive line.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Seth, you're up at 46 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, it's gonna be C.J. allen, linebacker out of UGA, Todd Bowles seat. Boys, I think he's heating up, if I'm being honest with you. This is a defensive head coach, yet the Bucks finish in the bottom half in yards and points allowed again. Last season they went with Mezador in the first round. Now let's give them CJ Allen, who was a consensus all American, led Georgia in tackles and tackles for loss last season. Not a bad pass rusher as well if he has to get out of there as well. So for me, I think he's just by far the best off ball linebacker left on the board. So I think it's an absolute home run for Jason Lighten.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
CO okay, next up here as we continue on with round two of the NFL mock draft. We got the Indianapolis Colts finally making an appearance. Dbro, where do they go at 47?
Derek Brown (Debro)
Like I said, you get a linebacker. You get a linebacker, you get a linebacker. The Indians, the Indianapolis Colts get a linebackers. Yeah, a lot of linebackers. Jake Golday out of Cincy. Let's give them. Send him to Indy. I mean, they traded away Zaire Franklin and this linebacker room was already bad to begin with. So they need reinforcements.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Who gave up the most points of an NFL defense last year? You guys know offhand.
Andrew Erickson
Was it the Titans?
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
It was the Cowboys. 511 total points allowed. Wolf, who was number two? The only other team over 500. New York Jets. That's why they got all these picks. That's why they got all these picks. So I love the jets are always number two on every bad stat. Can't even be number one and being bad. Geez, come on, guys, if you're going to be excellent, something for God's sakes. All right, let's go to the Falcons at 48 here. Erickson, you're up.
Andrew Erickson
Falcons first pick of the draft. This is big.
Derek Brown (Debro)
So finally we get the features feature
Andrew Erickson
the Falcons fans here. So Lee Hunter, defensive tackle from Texas Tech. Matt Ryan said his opening news conference this year this offseason that the team needs to stop the run. That's what Lee Hunter does best. Dominant run defender at Texas Tech.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, Minnesota Vikings are back again at 49. Seth, what do they do with the second pick here that they have?
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, they're going cornerback here. Brandon C. Say, out of South Carolina. This secondary, it has been absolute garbage for years. Isaiah Rogers, he played out of his mind last season. There were some crazy Isaiah Rogers games that we witnessed. But I can tell you as a Steelers fan, James Pierre is not the answer across from him. This is not who you want as one of your starting cornerbacks. He say in this entire South Carolina secondary, they got burned at times this past year, I will say, like Lenora Sellers Co. Kind of left them out to dry. Just could not move the ball. So they were tested a lot. This is a guy, though, getting a lot of first round buzz. He's met with Seattle, he's met with some other these, you know, early second round, late first round team. So I think it's a great value in the middle of second.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Detroit at 50.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Debro two biggest needs for Detroit this offseason, edge and tackle. We already addressed one of those. Let's give them our Mason Thomas edge out of Oklahoma to address the other.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Erickson 51.
Andrew Erickson
The Carolina Panthers might be somewhat of a surprise pick here, but I'm gonna go tight end with from Georgia. The Panthers have been doing a lot of work on Delp. Tight end is a need for them. They didn't get Kenyon Sadiq getting picked one head, a spot where they picked in the round one. So, yeah, I think that this is a surprise pick here in the second round. But his draft stock has been constantly on the rise. He had a really strong pro day, really strong athleticism, so the numbers don't jump off the page, but just because of the offense he played and he didn't get a chance to really put up good numbers in terms of the box score. But again, another weapon for Bryce Young, they went with Makai Lemon in round one. So Oscar Delp, I think he could be a surprise round two pick here and someone that, hey, for fantasy, we're gonna have to pay attention to where these Titans get drafted. And right now he's buried in the consensus ranks. I think he's going to go much higher in the real draft.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Well, certainly if he does in the second round, to Green Bay at 52. Back to you, Seth.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, I'm gonna go to edge here. Derek Moore out of Michigan. Micah Parsons still recovering from that ACL tear. They did trade Rashawn Gary away this offseason as well. And like, we just have no idea what Lucas Van Ness or Carl Brooks are at this point because the packers, they like to have their young edges sit a lot. They rotate a ton on that defensive line. So we don't really know what we're getting with them. I will say I think I know what I'm getting with Derek Moore. This is a guy who super under underappreciated guy in Ann arbor the last four seasons. He finished fourth in the Big Ten in sacks this year with 10. Won some of those veteran players went to the NFL. So I love Derek Moore here for this franchise.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
At 52 overall, Debro at 53, you've got the pick for the Steelers. And I like that we didn't give any Steelers picks to Seth in the first two rounds. I think that's. That's good initiation. Yes.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I think that was very solid approach, but I think the ends will be happy with this one. Isaac Ciamalu is gone. Gaping hole in that offensive line. Let's give him Emmanuel. Pregnant offensive guard out of Oregon.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, 54, the Eagles.
Andrew Erickson
Andrew Erickson, Malachi Lawrence, edge rusher from UCF. This is a Howie Roseman special. You basically just take the highest ranked guy available on Daniel Jeremiah's board and you profit. So Edge, rougher head rusher. Matt, look, I. Lawrence.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, Chargers at 55. Back to you, Seth.
Seth Wilcock
I will say I appreciate the. That the hazing here at fancy pros is much more dialed down. I can remember one time when my brother was the president of a fraternity and I went over to his house and I walked down into the basement to just do some laundry, and there's about eight guys just sitting there, no shirts on, no explanation. They just had to sit there for like 12 hours. So I appreciate you guys taking it easy on me and not locking me in a basement.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
One of the pluses of. Of working home remotely. This is what happened. We're all in a studio together. I can't guarantee where you might be.
Derek Brown (Debro)
We would have to ask you to lock yourself in a basement if that would be the case.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
It depends on. Depends on how good or bad the next pick is. Let's see what you got.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, give me Keante Scott here, cornerback out of Miami. I gave the Chargers TJ Parker in the first. So I'm going with one of my favorite cornerbacks in this class out of Miami. And for me, like, I think Scott's a guy who would be a little bit higher up in the draft if he didn't get banged up on and off this past season. Jim Thorpe Award, final list. The MVP of the Cotton bowl, had some big plays. He does play the nickel really well, and I think that gives the Chargers a bit of flexibility. How do we actually Want to deploy Derwin James because the last year or so they've really had to put him in that nickel out of necessity. But now I think it gives him one more chess. Chess piece on the board to make a couple different moves.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, D, bro, the move is yours here. For the Jacksonville Jaguars at 56, I
Derek Brown (Debro)
think you need an upgrade over safety Eric Murray. So let's get A.J. halsey, safety, out of LSU.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Okay, Erickson. 57, Chicago Bears.
Andrew Erickson
The Bears need more pass rush off the edge so they can know with Gabe Yakis, edge rusher from Illinois so he stays in state.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, Seth, this is an interesting pick that you made here. 58 for the San Francisco 49ers. Let's talk about it.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, absolutely. Give me Elijah Surrot, wide receiver at IU. Look like the 49ers are very much win now, and I'm just worried that this roster is super freaking fragile. Right. Mike Evans is coming off an injury plague season. George Kittle still recovering from that Achilles injury. CMC just had a million and a half touches. Ricky Sticky can't stay on the field. So I think if one of those players get injured all of a sudden, it's not good. It's not looking good. They don't have the firepower to compete with the Rams to compete with the Seahawks. So let's go ahead and give them a guy who can immediately come in, play that flanker role to Mike Evans and make some noise in the end zone. And also, I just think this is one of those guys. Super underrated because he's so complete. I said the same thing about a Mecca Abuka Lasher. He can come in play immediately. He's great in the run blocking game, which you know, you have to be great into playing that Kyle Shanahan offense.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right. Most time missed for games last year, 254. San Francisco 49ers. But they weren't the worst. The Dolphins 265, the Lions 274 and the Arizona Cardinals at 303. I did not anticipate seeing that one, though. There you go, Erickson. That's for your board. Go, go, go. Run with that one. All right, next up here, the Houston Texans at 59. D. Bro, you're up.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Before I get to my pick, I want everybody to, as they're listening along to this show, see if Seth makes any picks for any colleges outside of Clemson, Indiana or Penn State. I charge you to keep up with the show and find out if the drinking game. Find out if that happens every time.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Don't judge.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Every time that Seth makes a pick for Indiana, Clemson or Penn State, take a shot. You will be blackout by the time we get to the third round.
Andrew Erickson
I'm just getting thrown off by because you keep calling Indiana IU and I. I get confused by that.
Seth Wilcock
Are you baby?
Andrew Erickson
Is that what people refer. I thought it was Indiana.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Yeah. What else do you call? Who else is iu? Erickson, Iowa University.
Andrew Erickson
I don't know.
Seth Wilcock
IU on the helmet.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Do with the IU on the helmet. He's right there. Pick for Houston.
Derek Brown (Debro)
That's fair. I was like let me get to Houston here. I I'm actually this might be a curveball pick because with them addressing the backfield with David Montgomery, I'm gonna give them Jadarian Price running back out of Notre Dame. Give them a long term answer. And I was not high on Woody Marks as a player. I think he got thrust into the limelight as a starter last year out of necessity because Nick Chubb is cooked, not because of the talent. So I think Houston gets a guy that can run alongside Montgomery so they don't have to depend on CJ Stroud's arm.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
One guy familiar with thrusting in the Limelight, Andrew Erickson, 60, you're up for the Chicago Bears.
Andrew Erickson
I'm gonna go with a center.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
There's a hundred picks. I gotta find some kind of COVID segues once in a while. Come on now.
Andrew Erickson
Center Sam Hecht from KS Kansas State for those keeping track at home.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Ku, baby.
Andrew Erickson
Ku. No, it's ks. It's not kids, bro. So they obviously had a hole at center due to the retirement of one of their guys from last year. They brought in Garrett Bradbury from the Patriots, but he's only on a one year deal. So I think that Sam Hecht, a player that they sent a large contingent to the KS pro day Bears are very interested in him. Maybe this is a little bit aggressive, but Ben Johnson wants his guy, he's going to get his guy. Welcome to the Bears.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Speaking of a little aggressive, Seth at 61, the Rams. You're up. Yeah.
Seth Wilcock
So no need to take a shot but we are staying in the Big Ten with this one. Caleb Tiernan, offensive tackle out of Northwestern and I did cheat the Rams out of going tackle in the first. So I feel like I just have to give them a guy 3 years of starting experience can play right now on their line. All Big Ten type of player coming in and comes in at a massive 6, 7, 325 pounds. I think he could probably eat Andrew Erickson for his lunch.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Probably.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Probably. Denver is up next at 62D, bro. That's yours.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Getting ahead of needs here, man. I've talked about this on previous shows. Jaquan McMillan and Riley Moss are impending free agents. They already got ahead of the nickel knee, which a day Baron, last year's selection. So let's get ahead of the perimeter corner. Need Keith abney out of ASU.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right. 63. New England Patriots. Andrew Erickson. Make me proud.
Andrew Erickson
Gonna add edge rusher for the Patriots here. They add a wide receiver in round one, so let's get that pass rush. Romello height edge from tt. That's Texas Tech.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Four, Seattle. Seth. Let's close out round two.
Seth Wilcock
I feel like if there was ever time to, like, have some music going, this is the pick. Because this is where the party gets started, boys. It's Mike Washington Jr. Running back out of Arkansas. Charbonnet didn't undergo surgery until February 20th and he's also an unrestricted free agent next year. So, like, there's a real chance they need to address this position. Why not here now, specifically, after going with Kane McDonald in the first. Hats off to Debro. You were way in on this guy earlier than I was. The size speed combo.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
No, no. Dbro's in that guy because of me. I'm the guy that was excited about Mike Washington. The receipts hyped up about it.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Seats are out there prior to Senior bowl, baby. Come at me.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Joey. Not. Not as much as it should have
Derek Brown (Debro)
been, but I love this.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
If you listen closely, if this pick happens, you can hear the overdrafting going on. It's over.
Andrew Erickson
He's going to be a bust, 100%.
Derek Brown (Debro)
He is not gonna be a bus.
Seth Wilcock
And he should be overdrafted, though, because when you have a guy who's 6 1, 223, ran a 4.33 second 40, like, that does not come around often. Usually you get these speed freaks who don't have the size, so. So, you know, he had the perfect razz at the combine. 10.0 relative athletic score. The best running back since 87. Since they've been tracking this, I just think you're going to get the same explosiveness that you did with Kenneth Walker And Mike Washington Jr. I never thought I would say that three months ago.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
I agree. I love it. Love that pick. That closes out round two, which means we got nothing left to do but do another one here. Let's go. Round three. 65 overall. Arizona Cardinals are up. Debro, what do you have for them?
Derek Brown (Debro)
Well, we've kind of buried the lead here, boys. Two picks for Arizona Cardinals and a quarterback has not arrived to Arizona. I'm going to change that here. Garrett Nussmatter, quarterback out of lsu. If we were talking about this a year ago in 2024, he wouldn't be here. So the fact that he played hurt all in 2025, I think the Arizona could get a steal here and let him go in and compete at camp. If Brissette sucks and all of the luster comes off of Brissette from last year, then Nussmeier is going to get some playing time in 2026.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, so maybe a nice little like sit and hold the clipboard for 1012 games for Nussmeier. Not bad. Not bad at 66.
Andrew Erickson
Tennessee Titans Andrew Erickson Jennings Dunker offensive guard. The Titans need another guard. He is from IU, the OGI Iowa University. So Dunker.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
You just say Iowa. 67. Las Vegas Raiders Home of Cisco Mendoza
Seth Wilcock
Next Dude, I got a real problem because I'm all in on the Raiders boys. Like I I was way above consensus on Genty last year. I'm going to be way above consensus on all of them again because I really like what they're doing here.
Brooks Running Ad Voice
Right.
Seth Wilcock
They add Fernando. We gave him a tackle last round so let's keep equipping them with the potential to succeed by giving him an X receiver in Bryce Lance. Dbro and I had a great discussion the other day with E.J. snyder from Bootleg Football and we really talked about like that Lance has the upside to be a team's potential number one option at some point in his career. And we also know how Clint Kubiak. This is a guy who could really use Jack Besh's shiftiness a lot this season. I'm of the mindset though, like I think Besh is still a flanker and not an X. So let's give Fernando or Cisco in this case a 6 3, 204 pound wide receiver who ran a 4.34 second 40. I think good things are going to happen.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right. 68 the Philadelphia Eagles DBRO Freaking Seth
Derek Brown (Debro)
sniping One of my favorite players. And in the sheet, I want to give the backstory of this in the sheet beforehand as a placeholder. This dude just types br and I was like, you're going Bryce Lance, aren't you? You're gonna hurt my heart.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
You're gonna take it.
Derek Brown (Debro)
One pick before me with the Eagles needing a wide receiver. If A.J. brown is gone and he is on the move to the Patriots or wherever else. I think this is a telling pick. Let's give him one of my favorite wide receivers in this class. Ted Hurst, wide receiver out of Georgia State. This dude is awesome. Can stretch the field, win in all three levels. The play strength is fantastic. Love this kid. And Eagles fans are gonna love him, too.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Hurst over Bell. I think that's interesting. See, I would think they would go right for Bell. I would think it would fit in that.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I, I think if A.J.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
brown is gone mold, right.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I think the A.J. brown comparisons are.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Yep, I agree. I think he's more Chase Claypool than he is A.J. brown. I I easy.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I think he's more Quincy and Noonwa than anybody, so ear muffs.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, let's go to next election here at 69, the Houston Texans are up with Andrew Erickson.
Andrew Erickson
Gonna go with Kyle Lewis, linebacker from Pitt Pittsburgh. Just be, just be clear. Just everybody knows, kind of like a safety, linebacker, tweener type of player, Kyle Lewis. So I don't think that he's right for every single team, but I think that with a guy, d' Amico Ryan's calling the shots on the defense. I think he'll figure out the best position to put in Lewis where he can have success and just make the Texans defense that much better after it was number one last year.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right. Cleveland up at 70 because either it's the Browns or the jets making a pick in this NFL draft this year.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah.
Seth Wilcock
So I'm going to go ahead and push my chips in for a guy that I was playing my NCAA dynasty a few weeks back and the transfer portal came up and I was just like, I'm sending everything at this guy. I'm sending the house, I'm sending the private jet. I'm taking him out for wings because Jake Slaughter is absolutely criminally underranked here. Center out of Florida. And I think we just got to keep giving the Browns help on offense. Right. They took Fano at 6 overall. They got Simpson at 25. They got Jeremy Bernard in the second, but they still have an absolute liability and Tevin Jenkins at guard. So I think you put a 2024 All American Center, Jake Slaughter there, or you push him to center. Push the incoming center out to there. But I think he was really the linchpin of this Florida line that helped Jaden Bow really reach his potential here. 1100 yards this past season. We'll be talking about him in running back previews in 2027, so maybe you can help Quinshaw, Judkins and the boys do Something similar up there in believe
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
land at 71, the Washington Commanders are
Derek Brown (Debro)
up Derrick Brown, they didn't go wide receiver in round one. I'm going to give them a wide receiver here that also is a wonderful stylistic fit with Terry McLaurin, because Chris Bell, wide receiver out of Louisville, I have questions about his verticality and the ability to stretch the field, but this dude wins continually on horizontal breaking routes and underneath. So really good fit for Washington.
Andrew Erickson
Who.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Who's Gene Daniels throwing the freaking ball to? Outside of Terry McLaurin this year.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
So I'm gonna say Tara McLaurin. He's pretty good.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Oh, here we go.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Oh, God.
Andrew Erickson
As in oh, yeah, baby. Let's go.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Have Fun with that 72. Andrew Erickson, Bengals, you're up.
Andrew Erickson
So, so far we've only drafted one defensive player for the Bengals, and that's not making Bengals fans very happy. So we need to get them something. Let's get an edge rusher. Penn State shout out to.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I'm surprised this isn't a Seth pick.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah, I know, but I had to steal it. So Danny, Dennis Sutton, we are pass rusher. Let's go.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Let's go back to Seth here for the next pick here, and that is with the New Orleans Saints.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah. So we are sitting at a point right now. We're in the third round of the draft, and Mason Tipton and Devon Vale are still two of the Saints starting wide receivers after going defense with those two first picks. So I'm going to change it up and I'm going to give him Skyler Bell, wide receiver out of UConn. This is a guy who went over 2,000 yards, 18 touchdowns the past two seasons for the Huskies, and in 2025 alone, he was UConn's first ever consensus all American, which is pretty crazy when you think of it because, like, they've had Dan Orlovsky, they've had Darius Butler, they've had some pretty good players over the years in UConn, but this guy set program records in receptions this past year, touchdowns as well, while earning a Blinticoff finalist nod. So I think he gives Tyler Schuck one more possession wide receiver that can help move the chains a bit more effectively.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Dbro, you're back at 74 with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Derek Brown (Debro)
First two picks, we went trenches. I think those were the right aim here. These next two picks with Eli Stowers and my pick right now, let's just have fun, man, and give Patrick Mahomes weapons. Chris Brazil, wide receiver out of Tennessee. Not only the size but the speed can stretch the field and give them an element in this passing game that they don't currently have.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Have just want to point out Erickson took a Penn State guy and then now Clemson guy. We got all these guys going off the board here next at Miami. So you guys are really starting to eat into some of Seth's stuff here.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah, I know. This is our version of hazing. Yeah. Pick someone else.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, let's go to 75. Miami Dolphins are up next year. Erickson, what's the Clemson guy that you gave him?
Derek Brown (Debro)
This is set special.
Andrew Erickson
Antonio Williams, wide receiver from Clemson. Clemson. So the Dolphins have kind of hit on a bunch of different positional needs safety off the tackle edge so far, but they got to throw Malik Willis a bone so he doesn't have to throw to the current receiver room. Jalen Tobert, Tutu Atwell. It's not enough to get a good evaluation of Melik Willis, so give them a nice slot receiver here with Antonio Williams.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Did you see the. I saw it on Instagram, the social post of Malik Willis doing workouts there, and it was like him dropping back and throwing this lovely ball, and you're just like, oh, okay, here's. This is like, you know, the Malik to Malik, and it's Malik Washington. And I swear I laughed out loud because when the ball hit Malik Washington, it hit him and he caught it like one of the kids at flag football who's still learning how to catch footballs. And I was just like, oh, no, no. This is not what we put on social media. This is not the proper thing. And I'm not trying to shade it. You should have seen the scenes.
Andrew Erickson
But it's like the worst.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Worst. It's just the worst body catch. Like, I'm not putting that on socials as like, check this out. Fire emoji. Fire emoji, whatever. Like, stop, guys.
Seth Wilcock
Malik Washington. Sizzle.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Oh.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Oh, dear.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right.
Andrew Erickson
Yeah.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Oh, no. The stars have aligned at 76 Seth Wolcock picks for the Steelers. I don't know what happens next.
Seth Wilcock
This is my favorite pick of the entire draft. And it's not just because it's the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's because the player here, Dominique Orange, defensive tackle out of Iowa State, not a Penn State player, but Iowa State kind of is now Penn State with all their players now coming to Penn State. But regardless, the Steelers have a fantastic draft going right now. They got their wide receiver, they got their guard that they desperately needed, and now they're going to add some depth to the Potential heir apparent for Cam Hayward. Right? A guy named Big Citrus. And he absolutely was that man. He was.
Andrew Erickson
Dude.
Seth Wilcock
You watch that first game of the season, the one that happens over in Ireland every year. It was just insane to see how much of a game record this guy was. Clogged the middle for Iowa State. I remember watching that game in, like, Kansas State, who was one of the better rushing teams a year ago in college football, could get nothing going on the ground because he was just clogging everything up. And I think the Steelers have done a really nice job the last few years at defensive tackle. They took Keanu Benton out of Wisconsin a few years ago. He's been great. Yaya Black, really good rookie season. But I think you can never have too many DTS in a 3, 4 defense. So let's go ahead and load them up here in the Berg, all right,
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
From Big Citrus to Lil Kiwi. Derek Brown is up next at 77 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Kiwis are underrated, bro. And I guess I'll go with the. The Kiwi master himself.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Grayson ever. Yeah,
Andrew Erickson
I didn't know it was rated at all. Thoughts on Kiwis?
Seth Wilcock
People don't even have takes.
Derek Brown (Debro)
They're good with strawberries, I hear.
Andrew Erickson
Anyway. That's different, though.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Yeah, that's fair. Fruit matchups. But Grayson Halton, defensive tackle at Oklahoma Elijah can't see has not been good in the NFL. Asan Robinson is unrestricted free agent after this year. So D tackle out of Oklahoma going to the bucks.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, 78, the Indianapolis Colts. Andrew Erickson gonna go with Christian Miller,
Andrew Erickson
defensive tackle from Georgia. They addressed linebacker earlier in the draft. Miller visited the Colts on a top 30 visit. And Ballard has talked about during this offseason that he wants to add more to the defensive front. So Miller, defensive tackle from Georgia fits the bill.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Next up here at 79, the Atlanta Falcons. And Seth Wilcock.
Seth Wilcock
Yep, keep him in the building. He knows where the bathrooms are, boys. Zachariah Branch out of Georgia. And for me, like, I think it's just similar to the Saints pick a couple ago, right? Like they're. Two of their top three receivers right now are Johan Dotson and Olamade Zakias, right? Like that just can't. You can have one of the, you know, one of those guys. You can't have both of those as starters in the NFL. Expect to be competitive here, especially with what they're going through at quarterback right now. Zachariah Branch, someone that if you're a Debbie manager, you've heard of this guy who's the number one widers, he's recruit in that 2023 class, transferred from USC to Georgia this past year and him and Gunner Stockton really clicked off together. Man led the SEC in receptions. Certainly a bit undersized. Right. But did run that 4.35 second 40 at the combine. I think the speed is something they don't really have in that receiving core right now. And I also think he'll immediately handle their punt and kickoff returns.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, next up, you have the Baltimore Ravens at 80d, bro.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Devontez Walker cannot walk into Week 1 as a starter for the Baltimore Ravens. So I'm going to give them wide receiver Jacoby Lane out of you.
Seth Wilcock
Thank you.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Okay, 81, the Jags and Erickson, you
Andrew Erickson
go with Zane Durant, defensive tackle from Penn State. The Jaguars last year, as noted by John Chipley, eight of their nine draft selections were from the Senior Bowl. Guys, you know who went to the Senior Bowl? Sand Durant.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
There you go. You know, getting Derek Brown. Flight got canceled.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Thank you, Mother Nature.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Back to Seth for 82 and the Minnesota Vikings.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, I did get to spend a good 25 hours or so in Dolls Airport, so that was great when I was trying to get to the senior full. So I feel you on that one, bro.
Andrew Erickson
It's.
Seth Wilcock
Come on, it's Kamari Ramsey, safety out of usc. Harrison Smith's gone. The Vikings have to continue to add to the secondary. They did that by adding a cornerback earlier. So I think Ramsey's someone you bring him in, you could fool around with him at free safety, Nickel, even linebacker. And his calling card the past few years was this is someone that you have as your green dot. Even though he isn't technically an off ball linebacker. Right. He can call the defense. He's someone that you want in command there, which was really, really, I thought, special because you saw USC kind of transition from this PAC 12 to Big 10 play and he did a really nice job kind of calling the shots there. So you're not getting a star at the next level, but just a really solid role player here in Ramsey.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Who do the panthers get at 83d, bro?
Derek Brown (Debro)
Maybe this is a curveball to some, but with Chuba Hubbard in the backfield, he got replaced as a starter last year by Rico Dowdle. We're still kind of up in the air. I have faith, I have hope for Jonathan Brooks, but two ACL tears, who knows what we get? Let's give them a do it all back. He might not be the flashiest back, but this dude is a dog and pass pro. He could play all three downs. Jonah Coleman, running back out of Washington.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Next up, Andrew Erickson for the Green Bay packers at 84, took an edge
Andrew Erickson
rusher with one of the earlier picks. I think they want to address the secondary next because I think their cornerbacks were one of their biggest weaknesses last year, especially when they had injuries on their defensive line. Traden Stukes, cornerback from Arizona.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, back to you, Seth, for the next election here. And we are back again somehow with your Pittsburgh Steelers.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, Somewhere off in the distance, our boy Scott Bogman is going six to midnight on this one. Malik Muhammad out of Texas. Look, the lures, they have to find a nickel back. Like, if you're going to play Jalen Ramsey at safety, you need a legit nickel, right? And Malik Muhammad, he's not a legit nickel by any means, but he did spend time both playing the inside and the outside and three years of starting experience at Texas playing some big games. I think he's the perfect guy to add to this secondary room that all of a sudden looking pretty deep. Don't look now, boys, but Lars might be going to the super bowl here in 2026.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
The cockeyed optimism of the silver of the the black and gold. Excuse me. All right, let's get to the 86 pick here. The Chargers and Derrick Brown.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Linebacker Josiah Trotter out of Mizzou. More ammunition alongside Dayon Henley and Denzel Perriman, who is back only on a one year deal.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Okay, Erickson. The Miami Dolphins at 87.
Andrew Erickson
We've hit everything except for cornerback, so that's next. Up on the Dolphins needs Devon Moore, cornerback from Florida, player that has kind of fallen because of injuries. I think Miami as a rebuilding team can take a chance on a guy that maybe is more talented than where he's available in the draft.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Okay, next up here, the Jacksonville Jaguars. Back to you, Seth, at 88.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah. LT Overton, edge out of Bama, the ville right now. They added a safety in the last round, so we're going to give them a pass rusher because they don't really have anything behind Trayvon Walker and Josh Hines. Allen's, it's, it's a lot of, you know, undrafted free agent type of players coming off the edge there in that depth chart. So Overton's another player. I don't think he has necessarily a high ceiling, never saw a lot of production, but he does have four years of SEC experience, first A and M, then Bama. So I think the Jags would Be happy to add another grown up to that room.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right in 89 here the Bears are up again for Derrick Brown.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Let's give them the heir apparent to DeAndre Swift who is an unrestricted free agent after 2026. This could surprise people, but the three down skill set and the past game weapon status is real for Emmett Johnson. Running back out of Nebraska at 90, the Miami Dolphins.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Andrew Erickson doubling down.
Andrew Erickson
Another cornerback here, Demings from Stephen F. Austin, a small school prospect, but someone that's gone on a lot of 30 visits. A mid round player who's seen his stock rise since the Senior bowl since the combine. So there's a lot of interest around him. I think he'd be a great fit with Miami as they look to rebuild the secondary.
Derek Brown (Debro)
SFA. Those that are initiated. SFA.
Andrew Erickson
SFA.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
SFA. Yeah. Just for just Boston. Let's go back 91 here. The Buffalo Bills, Seth Wilcock.
Seth Wilcock
Yeah, funny enough, I actually went on a date with a girl in high school and her parents met at Stephen A. Austin.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
So that's a school called Stephen F. Austin? I believe so.
Seth Wilcock
Oh, oh, Stephen F. Austin. I was thinking Stephen A. Smith there. Stephen A.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Just makes the damn pick.
Seth Wilcock
Shout out to the Paulsons. Lovely people, lovely people. Buffalo is going to go with Jalen Kilgore here, safety out of South Carolina. Whenever you have C.J. gardner. Johnson is one of your starting safeties in the year 2026. It's time to address the position. Kilgore, known for his ball skills, eight picks throughout his entire collegiate career and I think the Bills could certainly need him to get a couple takeaways in some big games.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
92 Dallas Cowboys are up next.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Derek Brown, big play weapon we are keeping in Texas. I know this is going to feel high, but man, he's. He's really freaking talented. Eric McAllister, wide receiver out of TCU we do not know what happens with George Pickens long and short term if he gets the contract.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
If he doesn't.
Derek Brown (Debro)
McAllister coming off the Jones fracture. Dallas has the luxury of not having to rush him back, but he could be a key cog in this passing attack in 2027.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
At 93, the Rams and Andrew Erickson.
Andrew Erickson
Malachi Fields, wide receiver from Notre Dame. I don't think it's too crazy to think maybe the Rams take multiple wide receivers in this draft because look at their current roster. Puka Nuku, he's dealing with some stuff. Devonte Adams, getting older. He's in the last year of his contract and Even the receiver we took earlier, Jordan Tyson. Well, is he healthy? We don't know. So I think that they could take multiple guys within the first couple rounds, so keep an eye out of who they might take later. Maybe it's not Fields, but that guy could be potentially interesting for fantasy.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
And Seth, you're going to keep the wide receiver run going on here for Miami at 94. Yeah.
Seth Wilcock
Dion burks out of OU. Erickson, I'm not sure if you know what school that is. Oklahoma. And Erickson, you already gave him a slot wide receiver. And Antonio Williams And Dion Burks traditionally thought of as a slot wide receiver, but you watched last season, he played well. He played much more on the exit or on the perimeter last season for John Matier. And I think whenever this guy needed a big play, he was available for that 4.3 second 40. I was on that ticket 45, the one for the fastest 40, unfortunately, didn't cash that, but I think Dion Burks can at least cash a couple anytime touchdown tickets on some long balls here from Malik Willis.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, Debro, let's give you a stab at the patriots pick at 95.
Derek Brown (Debro)
I think you'll like this one. Joey Hunter Henry is an unrestricted free agent after 2026. Let's give them a solid, maybe not outstanding, but a solid. Do it all tight end. Max Clear, a tight end out of Ohio State.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Okay. Like the Ohio State guys. All right, Erickson, you're back up at 96 for the Seattle Seahawks.
Andrew Erickson
Kieran Crawford, edge rusher from Auburn. Just get another defensive piece to this defensive line.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, There we go. We're in the home stretch here. 97 here. Minnesota Vikings. Seth, you're up next.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Wonder where this guy comes in.
Seth Wilcock
Almost like it's been like a round and a half since anyone's had to drink, so now you have to. You have to drink a little bit here. Nick Singleton out of Penn State. And this is just a perfect.
Andrew Erickson
Where'd he go?
Derek Brown (Debro)
Where'd he go?
Seth Wilcock
Hashtag, we are, baby. And look like there's just no one in this backfield, though, that has any explosion like Aaron Jones. Seen that, you know, been there. Jordan Mason, same type of thing. Like Nicholas Singleton is a player who was a arguably top one overall prospect at the running back position a few years ago. I don't know what happened this past year. I don't know if he was hurt. I don't know if it was just, you know, no. No motivation after the firing of James Franklin. But Nick Singleton, a guy who can catch the Pass. Well, a guy who can make some people miss and get out there and has that home run hitting ability when he gets the ball in his hands.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right. D row 98, the Philadelphia Eagles cornerback
Derek Brown (Debro)
Julian Neal out of Arkansas. Re Qualman's on a one year deal. Keely Ringo doesn't look like a long term answer, so let's give him a corner.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
Okay. And 99, the Pittsburgh Steelers again, Andrew Erickson. You got anything fun lined up?
Andrew Erickson
Quarterback? Not Diego Pavier. Cole Payton. Nds.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
There you go. A little Cole Payton action. How you feel about that?
Seth Wilcock
You technically, if you want to get technical.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
What do you think, Seth? You like that?
Andrew Erickson
Ndsu.
Seth Wilcock
I'm okay with it. He hates Cole, guys. You hate Cole Payton? Just say it.
Andrew Erickson
Well, too bad. He's your quarterback this year.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
All right, pick 100. Last pick of the three rounds here. Seth, close us out. I can only assume there's somebody left at Penn State to solve.
Derek Brown (Debro)
Drunk or are the listeners with this
Seth Wilcock
pick to take the last sip in the bottle here? Katron Allen, RV out of Penn State. I just think it's a full blown committee here and I'll tell you why. Tutin, he's a great guy to get in space. He's made for big plays. C. Rogers, your goal line guy. LA Quinn Allen Jr. Great past passing downs guy out of Syracuse a couple years ago. But no one is playing that North, south, south roll like Katron Allen in this offense. I also think he's a great locker room guy to help lead some younger players. So give me a little K. Tron Allen doesn't mind sharing the backfield.
Joey P (Joe P. Zappia)
