B
I'm doing absolutely fantastic. Today is the start of the Scott Fishbowl slow drafts I think across the board. I Love your shirt. SFB 16. I am rocking my SFB 15 shirt from last year from the Boston draft so my shipping clearly isn't as fast as it is over in the UK because you got your shirt today. As the drafts are kicking off. I am curious Tom, did you make your draft pick yet? Are you in one of these slow rooms where you're still like the guy still sitting at the one on one potentially trying to make their pick or are you zooming through and oh, we're already in round five. Round six. What's your Scott Fischball roster looking like so far?
A
So I am in the Zelda Rock arena of Time division. Greatest game ever made. So it was a clear choice for me and I think this is my sixth year in the Scott Fishbowl. Every single year I've picked up a 109 so I didn't see any reason to change it up this year. I've made this playoffs every year so why would I, you know try and go against Something that's obviously worked okay for me, but yeah, not made a single pick yet. Looking forward to it. My plan is to kind of dive more into the scoring as we get off here in a little bit. But yeah, I mean it's just a great time of year. Like you get past kind of July 4th and it feels like everybody just turns the page towards redraft. We've got two weeks until training camp opens up. I think in the next two weeks we're going to see a decent amount of veteran signings. Possibly not Brandon Ayuk, but guys like Stefon Diggs. I would expect to suddenly pick up a little bit of interest. Could we see a Najee Harris signing? It's all going to be starting to ruminate over the next couple of weeks. So yeah. Is there any particular veterans that you're particularly interested in seeing what plays out like these free agent veterans?
B
The receivers are definitely the first pieces to drop that I'm most interested in. And I posted this on X last week about the Miami Dolphins offense and just looking at okay, what if you had Achan and then and insert any of these veteran wide receiver players, you drop them into the Dolphins offense and do we look at Malik Willis and maybe the Dolphins offense a little bit differently if they just add one more piece? Because I was kind of, I was thinking about a certain take that I wasn't really sure how I felt. But when I thought more about it, if the Dolphins were to sign someone like Stefan Diggs, how much different is their receiving room from the commanders?
A
It's not.
B
Thank you. Because I was thinking about them and like is is Malik Willis is like this really, really discounted version of Jaden Daniels where you're getting the rushing production but it is rounds and rounds and rounds after. Yes, I know Daniel's as much better passer. Malik Willis is still remains to be seen even though he has been effective the last two years in limited stints. But I mean Jaden Daniels, is he maybe and this is when I drafted on one of our best ball streams a couple weeks ago. Is he being maybe overhyped up based on what he did as a rookie? When you look at there's not that many weapons with him and again I like Chongqua, I like Antonio Williams, but it seems like after OTAs it was yeah, Terry's the guy but after him it's like this dramatic fall off. And are the commanders putting enough weapons around Jaden Daniels? I know they've been rumored to get a player like Brandon Auk. We still don't know. I mean apparently he thinks he's friends with Jaden Daniels who know who actually knows if that's actually true or not. So I, I think that one of these veteran free agents is going to either find their way to Washington or to Miami and I think that could actually cause a ripple effect in terms of how we view those two specific offenses because he you see the appeal with the quarterback and some of the and that's why I like guys like Dulcich and Chigacon because there's devoid of wide receiver targets. But I also acknowledge you drop in a solid veteran player and you have to definitely take a knock on those particular tight ends.
A
Well, I think like for me it's like looking at I wasn't particularly thinking about Jayne Daniels versus Malik Willis. It's more like the offensive efficiency and I think that Diggs feasted last year in New England with very little competition for targets. You know, and I mean he was exactly 100 targets and among the 26 wide receivers were 100 or more targets. He was sixth in yards per outrun, fifth in the odds per target. He also ranked ninth in total yards after the catch. Like Stefon Diggs isn't cooked. Stefan Diggs has an ADP of 147 on FFPC. I was writing something about him for fantasypros.com earlier today and it just feels like we are in line for another situation like A.J. brown, but an even more pronounced one where everybody knew A.J. brown was going to New England but all of a sudden he signs there, people bumping him in rankings, people push him up in ADP and we get this big jump from him. Stefan Diggs is going to go 30 picks higher. I think when he does sign with somebody and if he signed in Miami and was declared wide receiver one, where where would he go? For you, Andrew, I'd be definitely like
B
top 36 wide receivers, top third. I mean he was good last year and he was coming off the the knee injury. So I think to your point, I don't think that he's cooked either. I think that he definitely still has something to offer in offense, especially if he's the the number one guy. Clearly. Can he just replicate what he did last year? Maybe he's not going to be as efficient. Going from Drake May to Malik Wilson is probably definitely a downgrade in my estimate. Unless Malik Willis just plays completely different offensive line, still has issues with in Miami. Bobby Slowik is the offensive coordinator. How excited are we for that? We know they want to run the ball. So maybe not a lot of volume necessarily. But if you're the number one guy again, none of these other players project to earn volume at a high rate between Atwell and Malik Washington. Chris Bell I think is one of these really weird wild cards because if he wasn't coming off a torn ACL and the Dolphins had selected him at the top of the second round, like he would be viewed way differently than he is now where it's kind of like. Like I'm not really sure I feel about that guy. So he is someone that I'm keeping the back of my mind as a big wild card in this offense. But again, coming off torn acl, it's really hard to expect. Oh yeah, this guy's going to hit from the jump. I wouldn't be surprised if you know, a trade I was thinking about potentially that Miami could do is why not reunite Demario Douglas with Malik Willis with Patriots, make a trade because you look at the way that think again, they want to trade cash on booty. Like that's the guy that's been rumored. But what if it's Douglas who is also playing in the last year of his contract? What if they move him to Miami before letting him walk next year? Keep cash on booty. That could be an interesting thing to look at too if Miami ultimately wants to make a move for a wide receiver.
A
I'm prezzy in the chat asking us there's still any room in the league. We've got three spots left so yes we will be just continuing it, just chat a little bit for the next few minutes whilst we wait on those last three to join us in this Triflex league. For anyone unfamiliar with it, FFPC Triflex Best ball slim leagues a 20 round snake. Drafts. No kickers, no defense. It uses the regular kind of FFPC scoring which is PPR, but an extra 0.5 per catch for tight ends. So it does put that premium onto the tight end position. Quarterback scoring is 25 yards equals 1 point passing. Interceptions are heavily penalized over here at minus 2 points the roster vote. That's where everything is different in this format compared to any of the FFPC or best ball roster out there. You start one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end then getting to the Tri flex. We have one super flex which can be quarterback, wide receiver, running back or tight end and and then two flex which can both be wide receiver, running back or tight end. So in theory, Andrew, I floated this to you before we started the stream. You could start up to Six wide receivers on your roster, how does that make you think that you want to attack this draft?
B
There are so many different ways. I wish I had done more mocks in the mock draft simulator before this Triflex draft, to be totally honest. So that's one thing that I am ultimately regretting hopping in this room with you. But this is why the FFPC has such a fun platform to draft on, because there are all of these very different and exotic formats and scoring systems where you really have to kind of think outside the box, I think. And it's not just, oh, well, it's your typical like three receivers, two running backs flex and you can kind of go on autopilot. Although we suggest always going on autopilot, especially in season for those international games, as Tom you are super familiar with. But I think for me it's fine. For me, I'm always up. I'm always ready for those. Oh, the album Commander is not going to play. Who could forget? Oh, absolutely devastating for them.
A
Had loads of time to figure out.
B
That being said, it is really cool because you can go with quarterback here early on because it is a super flex. But starting up to a million wide receivers, how many tight ends could you potentially look to be starting, I think is also really interesting too. And it looks like, I believe our draft is full. We're good to go.
A
Yep, we're full. We're good. We'll have 1 minute 45 just as the clock counts down. Make sure that everyone is around. But yes, I am picking from the 106. Andrew, you are picking from the 105. Ooh, this should be a lot from this guy. No matter what we do. I know we've got a few people in the chat who are with us. Haynes, I see you picking at the 102. Let us know where you're picking if you are joining us for the stream. Appreciate everybody who's joining us over here on Twitch. We got TCB relentless saying oot remake coming out this year on the Switch. Ocarina of Time Remake. That is for the uneducated. It's gonna be so good. I'm gonna lose so many hours to that. Coltrane Gaming, Waddle to the Moon. Absolutely. Sting, Mangione, Strak Attack and the Undertaker. Yes, sir. Every two weeks over here on Twitch. Anyone who hasn't caught any of our FFPC streams this year, we are going to be using the Fantasy Pro's draft assistant for it. So it isn't going to be the FFPC site. But you see, as we're Underway, we're using the draft assistant because we think it's better. It helps you see the best available players. Based on Fantasy Pro's rankings. You'll see roster needs, get pick by pick recommendations based on the draft room. You can keep the strategy in mind yourself and just focus on being presented with the best players. Not no matter what. So whether you're drafting in Best ball, Darcy Superflex or even your home redraft league, the fantasypros.com forward/approxist fantasy draft system will sort you right out. Download Fantasy Pros app sync your draft Use draft system to make smart picks in real time. So Andrew, if you're going to be picking up a 105 now, even though you can start a quarterback in this format with it being super flexible looking at quarterback adp, we don't have necessarily anybody pushed all the way up like this. Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson. But it's not like quarterbacks being overvalued in this format just because they're quarterbacks. Because there's so many different ways you can attack this. Do you think of a 105 you're going to be. Sorry, the 104 that you're going to be looking for a quarterback.
B
I have not decided yet which direction I'm going to go in. You have the tight end Premium Brock Bowers did cross my mind, but he just went off the board here at I think the 1 oh3. Bian Robinson is still available.
A
Yes.
B
So we'll see. Maybe if he falls to me at 105, that might be a player I can't pass up on. Also, I mean, Puka Nukua again, I think I. I'm not necessarily locked into going quarterback necessarily with my first pick. Well, we'll see. Josh Allen's off the board here, so. So Bejon Robinson's still available for me. So I think that's just ultimately going to be the direction I go in to kind of see him fall here. Again, this is just highlighting how cool this system is, this format is. People approach it differently. Adp, you can kind of throw out the window. I asked you beforehand, is there even a Triflex adp? And you said to me, not really. So you just kind of got to throw in whatever the FFPC ranks. I took the Super Flex ones because I thought that was going to mimic this a little bit.
A
The closest you got, three seconds.
B
Bijan, come on down.
A
Just checking, just checking. Look, I'm not gonna mess around on this one. I think that Lamar Jackson is gonna have a massive year and I'M happy to take Lamar and because of the nature of this one I think that I can probably, probably, maybe take quite a skinny approach to the quarterback position. So yeah, I'm happy to do that one. Prezzy, Sorry to hear you didn't manage to get signed up in time. FFPC are really helpful if you do have any issues getting signed up. They're really good and we'll make sure they can get you sorted. So yes, we're underway. The drafts flying along now. Jameer Gibbs, Jamar Chase, Brock Bowers Josh Allen went one pick before Andrew. He takes Bijan Robinson. I take Lamar Jackson. Pukinakua goes at 106. Andrew how big is the gap between Lamar and Josh Allen for you?
B
I think they're still in the same tier. I think Allen is still ahead for me. I know we've talked on earlier shows how Drake may still my QB one so that's if I'd gone quarterback I would have gone in the Drake May direction. We all could have had the quarterbacks of our choice, but I still think that he is in the elite tier. I did want to ask you though with him and considering where you took him at 106 was last year a mirage with all with the downgrade and rushing. Obviously the injuries played a big factor. Quarterbacks don't tend to run more as they get older. But do you think that last year, hey, just throw it out again, I still believe in him as a passer. Again, we both don't say flowers, but I wanted you to hit on the rushing element for those that are kind of, yeah, fell off last year. Is it going to continue to decline versus you know, the last couple seasons when he was putting up MVP numbers both as a rusher and a passer.
A
I think pretty much everything just didn't work last year like for the Ravens offense and so much of it started from the interior offensive line and Lamar consistently, the years he's been at his best it's been when the offensive line has been at least average. Like I look at what he did in the red zone, not from a Russian perspective but just from a passing perspective. Ranked 35th out of 36 quarterbacks with 25 red zone pass attempts or more. When it came to red zone completion rate, the O line allowed a 62% pressure rate which was 10% higher than any other quarterback faced with. Lamar was sacked on 12% of drop backs. And again, it all comes back to it. The Ravens pass catchers dropped 16% of his passes in the red zone which was 2 and a half percent higher than any other quarterback experience. So everything was broken. And I think that if the offensive line can be even slightly better, Dwayne Ledford, the offensive line coach come over from Atlanta, there's a lot of people sneaky, very high on him, I think then that's going to settle Lamar down and then that's when he's going to be comfortable running rather than just scrambling for his life. So yeah, I mean look, I am a Ravens fan, I'm not going to hide that but. And I enjoy having Lamar Jackson on my fantasy team but I think that he's going to be fine this year. In round two, I'm back on the clock. Trey McBride, Devon Achan, Jalen Hurts Caleb Williams, Chase Brown on ADP. Looking at the fantasy pros draft assistant, it would lean me towards Drake London who I do love. But in this time premium format I'm going to go with Trey McBride. Andrew, that puts you firmly on the clock. Are you going to take Drake London? Are you going to look further down the board to one of the quarterbacks? Where are you going?
B
Hmm. Which order should I go in here? So Hampton is the top running back here. Although he's not my highest ranked running back. I believe that I have. Oh I know I have Chase Brown RB1 sizzle ready to go here and I can always pull because the thing is with the cheat sheet creator it has all your cheat sheets. You can pull up whatever. So for me it looks like. Oh oh oh. I think we need chan though unfortunately because I we've been drafting with the
A
60 second clocks these last couple of weeks. Andrew, you gotta gotta fix up look Sharp. These are 30 second clocks that we are in tonight timer.
B
God. Well I, I will say that Devon Achan I have been warming on him a little bit versus the oh no doom and gloom. He's never going to catch a single pass from Malik Willis. I do think that that narrative again it's true because going from Tua who was a check down savant to Malik Willis, a mobile quarterback is a big downgrade. But when I was doing some research, looking back since 2019, basically you only going to take off about 1 point per game and half PPR. 1.5 points per game in full PPR. If you just look at what the scramble rate of Malik Willis is like taxing that to hn it's one and a half points per game in full ppr. So I still think there's a scenario where and I don't want to get auto, I got to Turn off auto draft. First of all, I still think this is a scenario where a Chan can have a still very strong season and maybe still be a top five quarterback. So with that, I'm throwing it to you because I am on the clock and I don't want to get Auto picked.
A
Yes. So obviously lots of different ways that you can start this one. And while we mentioned that the wide receivers, you could start up to six of them, you could also start up to five running backs in one lineup because of the super flex element of it and the multiflex. So it doesn't completely devalue them, but it does push it just a little bit more towards the wide receiver position. Andrew, now with a very high T start of Bijan Robinson, Devon the Chan and Kenneth Walker. Look, I'm. I'm leaning into something I've wrote about a decent bit lately and that is 0 RB. I strongly believe 0 RB is not being utilized enough at the minute. I put up an article on my website, FantasySanctuary.com went about 7,000 words deep on why the history of 0 RB over the last couple of years, how we hit a point in underdogs best bowl Mania, where 21% of people were doing it in 2024 and then it absolutely bombed massively. And now we're down to kind of just popularity levels that we haven't seen in like six years. Like, people just do not want to do zero rb. I kind of feel strongly that there are certain ways that you can still make it work and possibly a little bit out there compared to some people on it. And that's fine. If it means using a contrarian tactic isn't popular, I'm fine with that because we've kind of seen whenever any particular tactic becomes really popular, that's when it's less impressive and less, you know. And even if things click right, you might advance at a high rate, but it's not necessarily going to help you win the big tournaments. Of course, we're not in a bigger tournament, but I feel like 0 RB can work pretty much in any setting at the minute. Andrew, if you're drafting 0 RB, what kind of round are you targeting your first running back this year?
B
I think if I was being very true to the 0 RB methodology, it would probably be waiting till whatever round I can get Rashad White in and that he would be my RB one. So that's rounds eight, I think. I think that's typically kind of where he goes in a normal 12 team. Again, this is super Flex. So a Little bit different, but that's kind of who I circle. I know we've talked about that kind of tier, whether it's Rashad White, Jonathan Brooks, I know you're, you're not. You don't like Brooks, but RJ Harvey, like that type of back end outside the top 24 running backs. I think if you're really being true to the 0 RB strategy, that's probably where I would take the first shot on one again. Even Chuba Hubbard would be an option there too, because there's a chance that I'm wrong and there's a lot of people that'll be wrong about Jonathan Brooks and it's, oh, it's actually going to be Chuba Hubbard. So P insert Panthers running back here. He makes that. That player makes a lot of sense for a 0 RB build. And I agree with you that it's like whenever a strategy is deader than dead, it's never going to work ever again. That's when it becomes most effective, especially when less people are doing it. So if it does work this year and all the running backs or most of the top running backs all get injured, they all get banged up, the backups are surging, firing on all cylinders, then not only is your strategy going to work, it's also going to lap the field because so many less people are doing it. So I agree with you. I think that's definitely something you need to be mixing into your best ball teams.
A
Yep, I'm back on the clock and I take Zay Flowers. So far there's been a bit of a quarterback run over the last couple of rounds. Since the start of the third round went Omarion Hampton, then Rashi Rice, Caleb Williams, Justin Herbert, Kenneth Walker to Andrew. Then I took George Pickens, Jalen Hurts when Nico Collins, Saquon Barkley, Jackson Dart, Derek Henry, Trevor Lawrence, Brock Purdy, Jeremiah Love, Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott, Matthew Stafford. Andrew is on the clock with seven seconds left to save himself from another auto draft. He's got three running backs so far in Bijan Robinson, Devon Chan and Kenneth Walker. Interested to see where he goes here with this quarterback run on the move, but it's not a quarterback. Andrew, who are you taking there
B
going with the tight end? Tyler Warren. I do think that there is a pretty big gap between him and Loveland where Love and went at the 210 and I got Tyler Warren essentially two rounds after. Tyler Warren I think is probably going to lead the Colts and Targets this season. So when you're looking at, okay, who can be an elite tight end producer this year. Warren checks off that box as a second year player. Really strong rookie season again. Big part of why the Colts offense was so effective in the first half of the year before Daniel Jones got hurt. Daniel Jones is limited by his mobility. What does that mean? Hey, check downs to my tight end who can create yards after the catch. And you can't forget if they get to the goal line, you might see some Tyler Warren tush push type of action. It's something that he did at the college level. So he's got touchdown upside, he's got reception upside with The Titan Premium 1 1/2 points per reception. So I think Tyler Warren is really good in this format and I just didn't feel like, I really didn't feel like taking another running back getting me four even though it is Triflex and I could start all these guys. But I ultimately went with Warren for those reasons.
A
Yeah, we've seen some really different strategies as Haynes points out in the chat. Looking at slot 1, 2 and 3, for example, the range of strategies there. The team in the 101 has Jameer Gibbs, Chase Brown and Maureen Hampton, followed by Jared Gough and Bo Nix. The team at the 2 slot, which is Haynes, Jamar Chase, AJ Brown, Rashi Rice, Breece Hall, Javante Williams. The team at the three slot, bully tight end approach of Brock Bowers and Colson Loveland before Caleb Williams, Tyler Shook and Travis Etienne. Andrew is back up on the clock. His start, Bijan Robinson, Devon Achan, Kenneth Walker and now Tyler Warren. I've got a healthy queue here, so I feel fairly confident whatever Andrew does, it's not going to phase my approach. But we'll see. Andrew's got five seconds left.
B
You got a lot of good wide receivers to chu to go from here and embarrassment reaches if that's ultimately the direction you go as you follow your zero RB approach.
A
Yep, I'm going to go with Garrett Wilson as my wide receiver three so far, starting with Lamar Jackson, Trey McBride, George Pickens and Zay Flowers. Garrett Wilson like I think the key for 0 RB that I'm honed in on this year is that I don't want to be dealing with the wide receivers further down the board who are at risk of coming off the field. This is, you know, the hot topic in the NFL, the 12, 13 personnel. I don't want to be worrying about how many snaps my wide receivers are going to be playing. So I would like to get three to four wide receivers who I'm confident are going to be out there as often as possible and George Pickens, Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson all tick those boxes. As we get down into the next round, it'll probably become a little bit more questionable. You know, there's still guys like Lad McConkey and Mecareg Bucha, but as you get beyond that it starts becoming difficult and I don't want to worry about those kind of guys. So yes, I want guys confident in their volume, confident are going to be potential red zone threats and can easily lead their team in targets where that's wide receivers or tight ends and then running back. I probably lean towards running back in a 0 RB build earlier than yourself. I think it is that kind of tuber range onwards. We've got plenty of interesting guys there. Just on Jonathan Brooks. I know I'm the negative guy. I'm the hater. You look back at how little he kind of played in college, the one thing I can't get away from, and I've been thinking more and more about this week is do you think he's going to be trusted in pass protection?
B
Cannot answer that question. I did not watch enough of him at Texas because he didn't play enough.
A
He only played one year really.
B
I guess for me it might be more of a RJ Harvey type of pass game usage where he's only out there to catch passes.
A
That's fair.
B
Like that's really what he's used more and, and we care about that more for fantasy. So I don't think it's hindering him that he's not available in pass pro because clearly the team trusts Chuba Hubbard in a lot of instances. Again, they've given him a lot of work over the last two years. They obviously paid him. So there is a trust level with Chuba Hubard, but they also need to figure out what they have in Brooks. I think Brooks is going to show that he's more explosive because Hubard, Tom. I couldn't believe when I looked back in the P, by the way, to find another running, to find another running back with as few without any explosive rushes. I couldn't find another guy that had as many carries as Hubbard. He. He didn't exist. And that is just very, very concerning for me.
A
So yeah, you know, my pushback would be he was injured last year. There's a chance for him to turn it around. You know, they trusted Chuba to the point that when it came down to the playoffs, they gave Chuba a 62% snapshare in that playoff game. They definitely, they Were definitely trying to reintegrate him. I'm not sure they believed in Rico Dowdle all the way. Haynes saying, am I being paid to be Andrew's pa? I mean look, it just gets embarrassing if he auto drafts more than once. Like nobody wants to see that. We're trying to build the ideal teams. We're trying to build how we want to build. And you don't need to see Andrew out here auto drafting. We'll leave that to his Scott Fishbowl team. So I went with another wide receiver. My fourth wide receiver in a row. Lamar Jackson, Trey McBride, George Pickens, Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson and Jalen Waddle. Four guys who I feel very strongly are going to see very large volume this year. Andrew now has Bijan Robinson, Devon Achan, Kenneth Walker, Tyler Warren, Terror McMillan and Terry McLaurin. Are you a little bit worried that you're going to get left behind at quarterback? We've seen a couple more go off the board, Kyler Murray and Malik Willis since your last pick.
B
Yes, I very much am worried about that quarterback spot. But it becomes a point where, well, if I'm already going to have bad quarterback, what's the point of reaching on them? So might as well try to load up the other position, try to win again. This is an opportunity for hey, if I'm ever going to win flex, you got to win your tri flex when you have multiple starters. So if there's anywhere I can catch up ground, it would be here. So we shall see. I mean according to the pick predictor it, it suggests that there should be quarterbacks available to me. Maybe 70 chance TJ Stroud will come back to me. I do think I like CJ Stroud a decent amount though, so I think that him is probably where I'll go in this direction here. So let me get him pulled up here.
A
Yeah, I mean if you're going to have bad quarterback play, CJ Stroud fits nicely into that. Never really been a particularly fantasy relevant quarterback. Often fail to score virtually anything that will get you into a QB1 position. But as this late down in the draft and if you're prioritizing dominating elsewhere in your lineup, it can make plenty of sense. I am going to take Cam Ward as my second quarterback. Probably try and leave the quarterback position alone after this and just hope that I could get by with two because we are into round seven and I haven't taken a single running back yet. There's some pretty funky builds, but I'm probably leaning towards one of the more extreme builds in Here. Andrew, do you think I'm waiting too long on running back or do you think I can still build out an okay running back room at this point?
B
Well, I'm looking at the running back board here. When you look at the available running backs and you can do this in the mock draft simulator, the draft assistant, you can filter by running backs, you can do the suggested players, top ranked players from each position and we look at running back specifically. So Dave Montgomery's still on the board. He's been getting a lot of puff smash from fantasy analysts both at Fantasy Bros. And elsewhere. Just about the sky's locked and loaded RB2 floor, which I definitely agree with, does have a little bit of like those like dead zone tendencies where usually every pro case for Dave Montgomery is well, the projected volume. And that never gets us into trouble when you're trying to talk about RB2s, especially when it's behind this super great Texans offensive line. That being said, for your particular build, I think that he can make sense there. But you still have Jadarian Price. He's a rookie running back. Here's a first round pick. I, I think Price, I get the risk with him but I mean he's going outside the top 24 running backs and he was a running back taken in the first round. So to me he still screams like a player that could be boom or bust. But if he hits on the boom side, okay, now you're looking at running back playing in a good offense that could be the lead back. Especially with Zach sharpening. Jalen Warren, we love him. Pollard projected starter Ramondre Rico. So yeah, I think you actually still have a lot of decent options where who shot White talked about him. So especially in the eighth round coming up, this is probably your sweet spot to hit running back kind of following your 0 RB build. So I think you're in a good spot.

Tucker Craft goes off at tight end six one spot behind Harold Fannin. This kind of 80 picks into this Super Flex Titan premium multiflex draft. Do you think when training camp opens, when we get positive news as everything's trended positive for Tucker Craft, do you think he could flip Harold Fanon? Awkward time to ask this, but. Hey, did you download the trail map? Yeah.

mobile.com I I think that that would definitely happen. I think with Fanon you see where there could be arguments not against the talent but Brown situation quarterback wise not great. It's it's going to be Deshaun Watts and that's the quarterback. That's gross. Especially because last year you know Fannin was really good with Shedeur. We don't know how Fannin would be with Sean Watson. Sean Watson could just be absolutely terrible and they're just trot him out there because hey he's on a Ross. We're paying him a lot of money. Let's just see what he has and sh isn't it. So that's bad. And then you also have the increase in target competition now it's not just Jerry Judy anymore, it's these rookies that they drafted Denzel Boston and Casey Concepcion. So although we expect Fan to take a step in in his second season, there are potential environmental issues that could that could potentially derail a second year progression or second year breakout further for the Harold Fanon. Whereas Tucker Craft, man that guy was. I mean he was going to be tight on one before he got hurt last year.
A
Yep. Yeah Tucker Craft, I mean he just plays the tight end position in a way that nobody else does. Was on a show with Joe last week where I kind of talked about Tucker Craft being one of the guys I'm still heavily targeting. I think that we do see a jump potentially around or so in ADP for him. 10.6 yards after the catch last year. No other tight end with 25 catch some more was over 8 20, 24 it was 9.3 again. Nobody else over 8. He's just an absolute yak monster. He's able to create in so many different ways. 26 target share in the red zone last year. I think that it's the easiest piece of the packers offense for me to buy in. I take Sam laporte a vote making a second tight end to my bill. I decide to push running back a little bit further because I'm just not worried about it yet. I look at the guys on the board. Tony Pollard, Rico Dowdle, Chuba Hubbard, Jalen Warren. I'll take any of them in the next round and then I'll start loading up. You take Aaron Rodgers as your QB2. How are you feeling about that QB room of CJ Stroud and Aaron Rodgers?
B
About as well as one can feel if that's your quarterback room. So Rodgers, he should throw a lot. That's about it. Don't think he's really that good anymore and I don't think that's really up for debate. He does have Metcalf. He has Michael Pittman Jr. Okay, but that's it and he should start most of the games because I'm not Jerreller Will Howard. Yeah, okay. Sure, sure, sure. Maybe those guys will play, but I don't think so. So give me Rogers walking those starts, baby. Yeah.
A
And I mean look in this draft Aaron Rodgers went after Jacoby Brissette and Jacoby Brissette still hasn't signed an improved deal. I do believe it will probably see it at some point in the coming weeks. We are through eight rounds. This possibly will be the round where I finally cave and take a running back. If you enjoy this stream, we do these every two weeks myself and Andrew here on Fantasy Pro's Twitch. All you need to do, support the channel, hit the subscribe button over here on Twitch helps you unlock different emojis. You get to watch us ad free. It helps keep the streams going and we've got loads of stuff going over here on Twitch. There will be plenty more coming this week. Andrew is one pick away so far. His lineup is Bijan Robinson, Devon Achan, Kenneth Walker, Tyler Warren, Teta Roa, McMillan, Terry McLaurin, CJ Stroud and Aaron Rodgers for that, you know, low floor, low ceiling QB room that at least locks in most likely certified starters throughout the season. Andrew, what are you kind of looking towards here as you immediately go on the clock? As I say that
B
I am definitely looking for my running backs to hit in a big way. The guys that I drafted early on, but I'm going to draft a player that I just continuously draft in every single one of these drafts we do. And it's Rashad White. Even though I don't necessarily need a running back here, it doesn't matter to me. You think he's better? Best player on the board. So that's what I'm going with.
A
Well, I'm going to take Ramondre Stevenson eventually caving and taking my first running back. So I have lamar Jackson, Trey McBride, George Pickens, Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson, Jalen Waddle, Cam Ward, Sam laporta and Ramon J. Stevenson. Andrew, as a Patriots fan, how do you kind of see the Ramondre Treveon Henderson stuff splitting in this draft? Treveon Henderson went almost exactly two rounds ahead of Ramondre Stevenson.
B
I do think that eventually it's going to be a 6040 split in favor of Traybillon. I think that last year the playoffs are really kind of in the backs of our minds of what the split is going to be like when it was all Ramandre for the most part, Ramandre Stevenson finished the season really, really strong. But the final four weeks of the regular season, Henderson was ahead of ramandre in a 6040 split. So if the season had just ended then we would collectively I think be much higher on Trayvon Henderson. And not to say that he's cheap by any means. You know, he's a low end RB2. I mean he's basically going in the same range as he was last year, if not maybe even like a little bit cheaper because there's that hesitance of well, you know, Ramandra really showed out at the end of last year. I, I think Ramanja just kind of showed people that hey, this guy was like, he's pretty good. Like he's like a good running back and he kind of was left for dead after they drafted Henderson when his body of work was pretty, pretty good. Thousand yard rusher, had a season with a lot of catches, big body back that was also explosive. Just played on a bad offense before they really unlocked Drake May. So I think both guys are honestly draftable where they go. But I agreed with your bill. Ramandra makes a ton of sense, especially early on in the season where I do think that he's going to see more of the share. But I think Henderson, again, he's another player that really great in the passing game. Should be better in pass, bro. Can't be worse and he can get by on potentially a timeshare just based on how explosive he was. Again, when I was comparing when he came out, it was Gibbs, Dave Montgomery, it was like the exact same thing. And I think that's kind of what you'll see again here in year two. But Henderson taking on a little bit more of the pie, especially as the season progresses.
A
Yeah, you know he needs to get better in pass protection, but he was a good pass protector in college. So it's not like some of these running backs where they just have no familiarity with what makes a good player in that position. I'm back on the clock and I'm taking my second running back in Kenny Gainwell. Full PPR format really benefits him here. I think that he's better than Sean Tucker around the goal line, which will help him. Bucky Irving can't stay healthy. The team have talked about how they want a 1a 1b relationship between Gamewell and Bucky and I know our friend Pat Fitzmaurice really likes Bucky and I understand his arguments. I think the price that Bucky's at right now is kind of fair. But I think Kenneth Gainwell is another player who could rise in a couple of weeks time if we see Bucky start training camp on the unable to perform list. Andrew's back on the clock. He's got Bijan Robinson, Devon Achan, Kenneth Walker, Tyler Warren, Teta Rowan McMillan, Terry McLaren, C.J. stroud, Aaron Rodgers, Richard by any ads Michael Pittman for that Pittsburgh Steelers stack. Feel good about it, Andrew.
B
This feels good as you can. I mean I think it comes to stacking these. When stacking this. This prolific Steelers passing game. Look, I'm just really leaning into the hope that with McCarthy that they're throwing the ball at a top five rate. It's 11 personnel. Maybe they're not as much of the 12 personnel that it seems like the league is trending towards. Then again, they have two good tight ends too. Between Friarmouth. Darno Washington I think is a really fun piece. He's a guy that I don't know. He's Tom if you've seen Darnell Washington floating out there in dynasty leagues, especially in tight end premium dynasty leagues, I'm trying to scoop him up like here and there, like he, he checks off some boxes, some of the advanced metrics, especially after the catch and are you
A
remotely concerned that he said last week he'd lost 45 pounds? Like if I lost 45 pounds that would be quite significant. That's like him going from Monster. It's a regular sized sky. You're one pick away. But yeah. Do you think that could dramatically alter how he plays. Like, that's a lot to lose.
B
Maybe it means he's going to be less lined up as a sixth offensive lineman. And it means, hey, we're going to get this guy in space. He last year, again, looking back at yards after the catch per reception. Darnell Washington was one of those top guys. And it's weird because you don't really view him as this dynamic receiver, more of a blocking tight end. But when they got him the ball last year, I remember there was a lot of weeks on betting pros where I was like, man, the over on. I'm betting the over on Darnell Washington receiving yards at 20 and a half because he just catch one pass and nobody wants to tackle this guy in open space. So maybe I'll draft him in this draft. And it's 20 rounds.
A
So I'm going to take Jordan Mason. You took Makai Lemon. I took Jordan Mason as my third running back and he got a little bit of hype last week. Like, again, he was somebody that I talked a little bit about when looking at zero running back targets. And I was a little bit surprised by some of Jordan Mason's stats from last year because it didn't feel remotely impressive. Like, he among the 31 running backs with seven or more 700 or more rushing yards, he ranked 12th in yards per carry, eighth in explosive run rate, 11th in yards per contact yards after contact per attempt, seventh in missed tackles forced per attempt. Which the missed tackles forced per attempt was the one where I was like, I, I just didn't remember him being elusive like that. The problem was that out of those 31 running backs who had 700 or more yards in points per game, he ranked 30th out of 31. But my kind of copium, hopium, whatever you want to call it, is that in a more efficient offense, which isn't being hindered by J.J. mcCarthy, Jordan Mason could be a little bit better. And just as I was kind of coming around to that, we get a Vikings beat reporter talking about how this is Jordan Mason's backfield and Aaron Jones is the guy who's going to be on third downs. Demon Claiborne isn't going to play very much in his rookie year. So, yeah, I'm, I'm not overly excited about it, but getting him as RB39. Where are you at on the Vikings backfield, Andrew?
B
I think I need to reevaluate the splits from last year because it seems like it's so hard to have these grand takeaways from the Vikings offense from last season because of everything that was in turmoil with them last year, especially in the McCarthy starts, whether he was healthy, whether he was running around or not. The splits are weird. I remember going back and trying to figure out okay well it was Aaron Jones that was the guy when he was healthy but he's not always healthy and Jordan Mason had opportunities was okay but to your point did check off some more of the boxes in terms of success rate, some of the advanced rushing stuff. I was really big on Jordan Mason last year. Like he was definitely one of my guys. I drafted a ton of and it didn't work out but I'm not so sure that in kind of thinking about it a little bit more that it was oh this is all his fault why it didn't work out. Maybe it was just really more the Vikings offense kind of just like cratering with McCarthy. So I think I agree with you where I think I need to be drafting more of Jordan Mason. I've been hiring consistent on Aaron Jones because I just think that he was the default starter. But I want to acknowledge that he definitely fell off in a lot of advanced rushing stuff last year, kind of following a Camara esque path where he's older running back, still really trusted especially as a receiver out of the backfield. But if this Vikings offense can be top 10 with Kyler, Jordan Mason I think is most likely going to be the main benefactor again. Both guys are going to be free agents after the end of the year and I like these Vikings running backs more than I like the Titans ones. Just to be totally honest, just looking at the offense, I like the Vikings offense overall more Titans offensive line is shaky. Like looking more at that line it's like are we really excited about this? And these running backs here like so yeah I think that's a good pick.
A
So I'm about to come back up on the clock. Lamar Jackson, Trey McBride, George Pickens, Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson, Jalen Waddle, Cam Ward, Sam laporte, Ramondre Stevenson, Kenny Gainwell, Jordan Mason couple of running backs went off the board since my last pick. Zach Charbonnet, Jakori Krosky, Merritt and Tajie Spears. But the guy who I had my own Chris Rodriguez makes it back to me. Chris Rodriguez, another guy who today Monday 6th July seemed to be the day where there were a couple of positive reports for him around the fact that he's fully expected to be ready. Couple of experienced Jaguars beat reporters or Jaguars beat reporters. Maybe I should say saying that they expect him to have a significant role in this offense. The Athletic called it that today and I'm sure we saw another report. So he feels like somebody who is going to start getting pushed back up and as my running back four I feel quite happy taking him there in the 12th round. Andrew, you've just made your pick. Which way did you go at the 12th round of this draft?
B
Took another wide receiver because that's kind of what I invested the least amount into early in the draft and you have to start three wide receivers in this Triflex format. So I took Xavier Worthy seems like another player where high on him entering last year, but his season basically ended midway through the first game when he got bodied by Travis Kelsey over the middle of the field and from then on, from that point it was basically, it was basically over for him. Like he was banged up with the shoulder. They never really got to unleash the plans they had for him. The Chiefs offense was just generally in disarray. So this season he's significantly cheaper. This is best ball. So if he is going to rip off some big plays if if Holmes offense can ever get back to throwing the ball deep downfield effectively, well Xavier Worthy at least seems like a guy that could potentially infrared balance back. It was between him and Jordan Addison and I did talk poorly about Jordan Addison on the show we did with Jake Seeley last week and honestly I thought more about it and I thought Jake made a lot of good points. So that's another player that I think based on where he was going here he was another player I was also considering because of his boom bust nature. But that works in a best ball setting because he can generate a lot of big plays. So Jordan Addison was also the other player I was considering. He was the next wide receiver that went off to Haynesby at the 2 or a 1211 spot.
A
Yep and Haynes also took Kenyon Sadiq as the tight end. 20 Andrew back on the clock. Now we did have a bit of running running backs which is slightly irksome to me. Aaron Jones, Keaton Mitchell, Tyron Tracy, Jonah Coleman all off the board. Chiga Conquo Juwan Johnson on the corner as well. So I'm still firmly just looking at the running back position to give myself just a little bit more. Like I say, I want my wide receivers to be the star of this team, but I'm absolutely willing to go with a volume approach to make sure that when I do need two running backs each week and potentially someone filling in flex spots, I want to make sure they're good options. And I'm going to take Tyler Algier. I think that Tyler Algier has been devalued because people are disappointed in the situation. We all wanted Tyler Algier to find somewhere where he could be the lead guy. It looked like that might have happened in Arizona and then they bring in Jeremiah Love. But Tyler Algier earned carries with the falcons. You know, 42% red zone rush share, 32 carries inside the five yard line, never fumbled in his entire NFL career. So there is plenty to love about him. And if you are and this conversation, you should join Fancy Pro's Discord community. Chan, Kenneth Walker, Tyler Warren, Te Roh McMillan, Terry McLaren, CJ Stroud, Aaron Rodgers, Rashad White and Michael Pittman, Makai Lemon, Xavier Worthy, Greg Dulcich. Your boy Greg Dulcich, he slipped past Haynes who's taken him in a couple of the drafts we've done. Are you pleased to add Greg Dulcich as your tight end too?
B
Yes, I am very happy about that. Probably the best pick I've made so far here in the 13th round and I'm surprised he glossed over it. You were hyping up Tyler Algier. Another one of my one of those players that I feel like I've been high on ever since he got drafted in the NFL. And of course the guy just keeps running into playing behind these top five drafted first round pick running backs just guy can't catch a break. Even though to your point man, he's been really solid, rock solid, doesn't fumble, red zone presence. But yeah, I I like what I've been doing so far here. Still need a couple sweeteners. I need another quarterback so I'm not going to tell you who I'm looking at but a certain player that maybe I could stack with one of my running backs I drafted really highly so we'll see how those things shake out. But I'm looking on leaning on the draft assistant here too, especially with like the suggestions to kind of see where it sees the board based on what my team needs, which is obviously one of the great benefits of using the draft assistant live in your drafts. It can really help you pinpoint not just the top ranked players but top ranked players specific to what you're actually doing and what you've already drafted up to this point.
A
Yeah, well I'm back on the clock and I am going to take the last running back I'm going to be taking in a while. I have now gone six running backs in a row. I had Ramondre Stevenson, Kenny Gainwell, Jordan Mason, Chris Rodriguez and Tyler Algier and then I added Dylan Sampson. For me this is a clear value pick. I think that he's one of the best best values on the board right now because I do not believe that Quinshon Judkins is going to have a clean one versus RB2 role. I think it's going to be a mix. I think that the Browns are going to be in much more pass heavy situations because their defense is going to stink without Myles Garrett and the pass catching it goes to Dylan Sampson. All the advanced metrics favor Dylan Sampson over Quinshon Judkins. Andrew, where did you go with your pick?
B
I went with another Patriots wide receiver, not A.J. brown because I was not able to land him in this particular draft. Very sad. Play the satchel bone meme please. Editors insert that in there. Anytime we can't get AJ Anytime we can't get AJB But Dobbs, I still think he has a lot of touchdown upside in this Patriots offense. I think that probably makes him a little bit more Boomer bust in your traditional redraft leagues. But Dobbs I think is still going to catch a lot of touchdowns attached to Drake May. I don't think there's enough about Drake May having way more red zone success this season with way more weapons that he has at his disposal opposed to last year when guys were running into each other, guys were running the wrong routes in the red zone. So way more touchdown upside. So getting him here in the 15th round or 14th round when I needed receiver help, I think he's a good pick.
A
Tight end absolutely cleaned out since our last picks. AJ Barna, TJ Hawkinson, Cade Otten, Terrence Ferguson and Gunnar Helm go off the board. We're down to tight end 28 now off the board. So this time premium we do seem to see them start going off a little bit around here. Andrew's on the clock with 10 seconds left, his roster sitting with two tight ends sitting with four running backs. Those two quarterbacks, he takes Jalen Coker. I'm gonna lock in somebody that I believe is a value. And I was convinced Andrew was about to take him as his Titan 3, but instead I will take him as my Titan 3. That is Pat Fryermouth. Postman part, always delivers. It's just impossible not to look back at last year. As a blip for me, he played a career low 52% of snaps. I think it was his previous career low in snaps was 62 as a rookie. And that is an Arthur Smith stat. Arthur Smith rotated them. John who? Smith is no longer there, so it's a bit cleaner. There's only the two tight ends, Donald Washington and Pat Frymouth. I think Pat Freymouth is going to be a red zone threat this year and a good bet score five, six touchdowns. Andrew, you took Jalen Coker. You going very heavy with wide receivers. Like obviously I started four wide receivers inside first six rounds, but then I haven't taken another wide receiver and win round 15. You started with three running backs followed by a tight end and then You've gone terror McMillan, Terry McLaurin, Michael Pittman, Mikhail Lemon, Xavier Worthy, Romeo Dubs and Jalen Coker. So sitting on seven wide receivers, do you feel like you feel pretty happy with the kind of level of wide receiver who's still available at this point in this draft?
B
Yeah, I think that receiver is one of these positions where it's the least about opportunity and it really is about are you good? Right. Other players sometimes can make up for. Running backs we know can be really volume driven. Same thing with tight end. But receiver, if you're not good, you don't usually get volume. So I still think that we're in a range where Jalen Coker, I think he's a really talented guy and whenever he's been on the field and healthy, he has been very effective. And I do think it's not a hedge, but a little bit of okay. I did invest a high pick in T. Mac earlier in this draft. TMAC misses any time. I'm not concerned or have any reservations about, oh well, Jalen Cobra is going to step up and have big games if T Mac is going to miss any extended time. So if this Panthers offense does take a step forward overall as a passing unit, if they let hashtag Bryce Young cook a little bit more, at least,
A
at least give him.
B
Let it. Let him turn on the oven. I remember when I was younger, my dad would always tell me, andrew, go turn the Grill on.
A
Just go.
B
Just go turn it on. Just get it warmed up for me. I'll be like Bryce Young. Go out there on the porch, go turn the grill on. Because he wanted me to learn how to, you know, operate, you know, gasoline and all that, or a tank, etc. So, yeah, that's my plan there with the Coker pick. And again, got to please the cokeheads out there.
A
Yeah, I like Coker. You look, if you exclude week seven, his first game back, he had the rest of the season, had 15 highest yards Battalion for the rest of the season, five games over, 45 receiving yards, which doesn't sound insane, but it is a nice amount when you're talking this late in the draft. There's some interesting picks that we're going to circle back to in a minute. Looking at what's on the board as I've got 12 seconds left, it's Omar Cooper, Juwan Jennings, Jalen Naylor, Tank Dell, Jerry Judy. It's a little bit disgusting. I'm going to take Ryan Flournoy, who I have a bit more faith in than some of those guys above him, which puts Andrew on the clock. While we were talking about the parenting style of Mr. Mr. Ericsson, Travis Hunter went off the board one spot after Brandon Ayuk going in the 16th round. Andrew, we've done some of these drafts where we've seen Brandon Aiuk slip to. I think you took him with the very last pick of the draft at one point a couple of weeks ago. How do you feel about that? Would you be willing to take him in the 16th round, or do you still feel like he's more of a late, late dart throw?
B
I think that latest. You can take him the better. Right. Because this guy seems like a ticking time bomb. Really. No idea what this is gonna. It just seems more and more likely it's going to be a Deontay Johnson type of thing where he's not playing for anybody. But the minute that if he does sign with the team, he gets cut from the 49ers, we know that he's a talented player and we're in a range where you know that there is a percentile outcome where if he's just on the field, he's so much better than everyone else that goes in this range. It's not even close because of what his body of work. He's not old, he's not washed, I don't think. But we don't know how healthy he is. He had a season ending in your injury, so I still think 16th round is okay but would prefer to wait as long as human league Again I don't think you should be in a scenario where I got to reach for Brandon. I don't think that we've reached that that range at any point right now. I think that you got to get some exposure to him because he is a player that is going to move dramatically either down or up and I think it's worth it still even here in the 16th round.
A
Yeah, I mean I'm not drafting much Brandon Ayuk apart from when I'm co drafting teams for people and they make a case that they'd like to draft it and I'm fine if people believe in it but I think there's above 50% chance that Brandon IU does not play football this year since your last pick of Omar Cooper Sean took a Rashad Bateman, Trey Tooker, Jalen Naylor, Mike Sicki, Emmett Johnson, Jaden Blue all go off board. Andrew's back on the clock taking Shedeur Sanders. Andrew, talk to me about Shedeur Sanders.
B
He was the highest ranked quarterback left on the board. It is a continual fade on Deshaun Watson who went the 1308. It didn't seem like there was going to be anyone taking quarterback anytime soon but I still wanted to make sure I got at least a third quarterback and I'm not taking Kirk Cousins. You can't pay me to take her Cousins in a super flex draft. Not happening. I don't care about Brady and he's going to they can start in the first month of the season and lose all those games and I think that's why we're going to see Mendoza sooner rather than later. He was not good last year. Kirk Cousins was not a good quarterback last season and guys coming off these Achilles injuries they just don't have the same zip on the ball anymore. That's why, that's why I haven't talked anything positive about the quarterback that I drafted Aaron Rodgers back in the eighth round because he had an Achilles injury a couple years ago. So chitter for me just betting some Sean and maybe they can do some create stuff in this Cleveland Browns offense that has some interesting pieces here and there. I also don't think how long is Watson if he even starts the year. How long is he going to last behind a brand new offensive line?
A
No, he can't play.
B
Come on.
A
Yeah. And just going back to the Raiders you do a lot of great work for us on betting pro's channel and all that side of it and I know You've already started digging into the podcast over there and getting some stuff out there. How many games do you reckon the Raiders are favorites for this year?
B
How many of their favorite? I know they're the favorite at least. At least in one because we're favorites against the Miami Dolphins. I would say. Well, they're not going to be favored in any of their division games. Nope. I would say 4, 4, 3.
A
And now for the second part of this. So three for the second part of this. Guess how long after week one it is before their next favorite after week 10, week 16 against the Titans and week 17 against the Cardinals. So it doesn't make sense to wait. I don't understand what this whole weighing thing is like. Yeah, sure, maybe you don't throw him out quite straight away, but like the easy games are not coming for them. So yeah, I think that we see him by early October at the latest. I'm back on the clock now. We are into round 18. I'm taking Isaac Tesla, which gives me a roster so far of lamar Jackson, Trey McBride, George Pickens, Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson, Jalen Waddle, Cam Ward, Sam laporter, Ramondri Stevenson, Kenny Gainwell, Jordan Mason, Chris Rodriguez, Tyler Algier, Dylan Sampson, Pat Framuth, Ryan Flournoy. This will be the year for Marshawn lloyd in round 17. And then Isaac Tesla. Andrew is back on the clock. His roster so far is Bijan Robinson, Devon Achan, Kenneth Walker, Tyler Warren, Tyrone McMillan, Terry McLaurin, C.J. stroud, Aaron Rodgers, Rashad White, Michael Pittman, Makai Lemon, Xavier Worthy, Greg Dulcich, Romeo Dubs, Jalen Coker, Omar Cooper, Shedeur Sanders and Ray Davis as RB66. Happy Andrew?
B
Yes, I am happy, but I think that you'll be even happier. Look at my number one suggestion with tight end right now.

Obviously, but is that taken into account the 46 lost pounds? Who can say? The ranks might need to be adjusted and it does go off the board to the team, to Sal Pal, who you know I'm not going to hang him out to dry, but our producer behind the sticks, Sal Pal, taking his fifth tight end. He has Brock Bowers, Colston Loveland, Travis Kelsey, Terrence Ferguson, and now Donald Washington. Fill those flex spots up with tight ends. Big Chef Gaming in the chat saying best ball season. You better believe it. We've got these every two weeks until the season starts. Let us know which contest you want to draft in next time. We've done this $5 draft tonight. We did the $125 draft a couple of weeks ago. We've done the $35 Super Flex. We've drafted against each other. Myself and Andrew have also drafted together on teams before. Let us know what you want to see. We're happy to do it. And if anyone wants to spot us for like a 10k, very high stakes entry, look, we're willing to do that. Just we have to make sure Andrew doesn't time out on any picks. He's gone a pretty long way in this one since the Devon Achan Auto draft in round two.
B
I probably wouldn't be. I don't think I should. I don't think I should be driving in those. Can't drive. No, can't drive.
A
You shouldn't be talking right now. You should be picking. You got 10 seconds left in this one. In round 19, Tory Horton goes off the board before you. I'm sitting here now with seven running backs and six wide receivers. Feels like the draft board's quite open to me for which way I can go at this point. Andrew takes George Holani. Was that an auto draft, Andrew? Is that who you wanted?
B
That's what I wanted.
A
I don't really love much of running backs at this point in the draft, so instead I'm going to take a guy who I believe in, whose rookie profile was excellent and that is Ted Hurst. I think that the Bucs are going to be one of those teams who still continue to play three wide receiver sets at one of the higher rates in the league without Mike Evans. There is an absolute gulf in red zone targets. There's a gulf in those kind of big body plays and I think that Ted Hurst can absorb some of those. Haynes in the chat very much enjoying that. You shouldn't be talking right now. You should be picking. Put it on a T shirt. I'll buy it. Get yourself over Fantasy Pro's merch store. Beautiful hats like these. Kirk Cousins goes off the board as QB36. Looking at this kind of draft overall, we've seen some pretty funky strategies. We've seen a lot of different ones. Obviously I leaned heavily into a 0 RB one and we could recap that when we finished, but we've seen the team of a one slot, took five running backs in the first nine rounds and hasn't taken a single one since. They've gone wide receiver and tight end pretty much consistently for the rest of the draft. We've got the team at the nine slot, which went three running backs, two quarterbacks and then it still just kind of bubbled about a bit. George Kittle Hunter, Henry Colby Parkinson is there. Tight ends we've got out of the two slot Haynes who started triple wide receiver. He's building Tetris blocks here. Triple wide receiver with Jamar Chase, A.J. brown, Rashervice Two running backs in Breece Hall, Giovanni Williams, Fox Four quarterbacks which kind of shut you out at quarterback a little bit more then balancing it with three late round tight ends in Dallas. Got it Kenyan Sadiq and TJ Hawkinson. So it's been a fun one. Andrew, anything kind of stand out to you about how this draft's played out over the last 19 rounds that has surprised you or that you've enjoyed?
B
Well, always doing these drafts of you is a ton of fun. Tom of course love doing these basketball drafts. Especially when I'm not auto drafting picks. It's even nicer when I actually make my own picks. So that's also a a plethora. I don't know. I think I'm ready to dig into the post draft analyzer because that is one of the greatest things about the draft assistant and making sure that things are synced up because it helps provide a quick recap of hey, what just happened? What could you have done differently? So it's because whenever anyone asks me like what do you what is most interest you the most, I'm like I've been so focused on my own team and not trying to auto draft that I barely had time to look at other teams and what they're doing. But considering your team because that's we've obviously talked about that one a lot. The fact that you went 0 RB true and true to its form and you did take Chris Rodriguez. But besides that pick, like it's hard to argue with the running backs that you made here. Stevenson, Gainwell, Mason, Algier, Samson. I think Samson's going to outscore Judkins to start the season. You look at the matchups Judkins has, he faces the Jaguars and the Buccaneers on the road back to back road games for a brand new offensive line, Judkins is going to have no chance to do anything to start the year, especially coming off his injuries. So I think after entering week three it's going to be like all right, who's the Browns number one running back? It's like well Sampson's been the more productive guy because he's just been catching passes. So I think that he's like a 0 RB staple and then Marshawn Lloyd as well. So tip, I cap to you if I had, if I had a Hat. I'd be tipping it to you, Tom.
A
Well, I round out my draft with Keenan Allen. I'll recap mine whilst Andrew makes his last pick or last auto pick. We'll see lamar Jackson, Trey McBride, George Pickens, Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson, Jalen Waddle, Cam Ward, Sam laporter, Ramondre Stevenson, Kenny Gainwell, Jordan Mason, Chris Rodriguez, Tyler Algier, Dylan Sampson, Pat Frymouth, Ryan Flournoy, Marshawn Lloyd, Isaac Tesla, Ted Hurst and Keenan Allen. I would not want this running back room if I was in Redraft, but in this setting, in best ball, I feel pretty happy with it. Keenan Allen as well at wide receiver 89, 235th overall. I'm putting him at least round 16, at least round 16, no matter where he signs. So I feel good with that. You made one last quarterback pick to round out the draft. Andrew Bijan Robinson, Devon Nachan, Kenneth Walker, Tyler Warren, Terrell, Rowan McMillan, Terry McLaurin, C.J. stroud, Aaron Rodgers, Rashad White, Michael Pittman, Makai Lemon, Xavier Worthy, Greg Dulcich, Romeo Dubs, Jalen Coker, Omar Cooper, Shadur Sanders, Ray Davis, George holani and the QB 37 overall in this draft. Who did you take and why?
B
Me?
A
Sorry, I've just seen your draft grade.
B
They were not pleased not pleased with my draft grade. And I mean I can't wait to
A
see who hates you. Great. For the audio listeners on the fancy Pros podcast feed, Andrew just received a D plus 68 out of 100. He did take JJ McCarthy, just not to let that one go by. So his quarterback room is C.J. stroud, Aaron Rodgers, Shadir Sanders and J.J. mcCarthy. Andrew, let's dive in. I'm excited to read some more of a full analysis from the the Fantasy Pros mock draft wizard and draft assistant even to tell us why yourself is so terrible.
B
I do have the number one running backs first, but it's really penalizing me for quarterbacks and in a super flex format that bears a lot of weight if you have really bad quarterbacks, it's really hard when everyone else is starting two quarterbacks against you every single week. So I think that this shines a light on the risk you can take on if you decide to punt quarterback down the road. And this is the bad scenario case, like the worst case outcome when you get stuck with Aaron Rodgers as a reliable starter, someone that you have to play every single week. And even during our draft I was not glowing about yeah man, he's a great value in the round eight. No, that's not how I felt whatsoever. I would have felt much better if Stroud was my QB2 and I drafted a quarterback earlier on. Maybe that's the direction I should have gone instead. Earlier. Instead of going three straight running backs. Drafting what quarterback in one of those spots instead of one of those running backs, I think too. Oh, go ahead.
A
Well, I was going to say one of the kind of pivot points potentially could have been in round six. You took Terry McLaurin ahead of Kyler Murray and Malik Willis. If you had Kyla Murray, Malik Willis or Sam Donald as a QB1 and CJ Stroud as a QB2 and then say Jordan Tyson or Marvin Harrison as your wide receiver too, would that make you feel better?
B
Probably. And even when I'm looking at the pick analysis. So which picks would you change? If you look at all the recommendations, it's drafting quarterback in round three, drafting quarterback in first round, drafting quarterback in the second round, drafting quarterback in the fourth round. So really emphasizing that, hey, you flew too close to the sun with this late round quarterback approach in super flex and this is the result you get. It's a less than ideal roster. So although I'm loaded up at running back, that doesn't really seem that advantageous when you're looking at the overall scope of your draft afterwards. So even if I drafted Drake May right in the first round over Bijan, again, I wasn't considering going in that direction. But hey, this is how you get better. Tom. All right, so although this is probably a dead team, luckily this isn't one of the $125 best ball drafts that we're doing. This is one of the, this is one of the $5 ones. But I do think that in some of these lower stakes best ball drafts, this does give you a chance to experiment a little bit more and take on a little bit more risk with some of these strategies.
A
Yeah, definitely. And to be fair, I saw on the screen I was projected well ranked seventh in the teams there. My team, the top team. My good friend Rory. Tom can't draft. The team name does come in with the most projected points. Rory, I'll get you next time. But yes, I'll take the little victory of just being ahead on Andrew. Andrew, any particular analysis? Any particular experts who particularly hated your draft there?
B
Yeah, so to be fair, even The Andrew Erickson bot gave me a B like, and I'm always like 99 out of 100. Andrew Erickson loves your draft. And again, this happens too, when you make a couple auto picks here and there, you're going to get a bad grade. Just got to show up, man. You got to do your homework. You got to raise your hand, you got to participate again. Other things that Mr. Mr. Erickson taught me alongside turning on the grill. Make sure you do your homework and participate in class. But Drew Delucia like my draft 85 Mick C from Fantracks and Fitzy. Fitzy was nice. He gave me a B. B minus 80 out of 100. A lot of people hated my draft.
A
He didn't even draft many Packers.
B
Didn't draft. Didn't draft any packers so. But I got T Mac Book Warren, Kenny Walker, Kenneth Walker and then yeah a lot of Lou Brunson from Optimus Fantasy Football gave me a 57 out of 100. So that is a big old F on the other draft board. I need to get your team pulled up here Tom so we can take a closer look there. Let's see.
A
Yeah. So my team for one last time. Lamar Jackson, Trey McBride, George Pickens, a Flowers, Garrett Wilson, Jalen Waddle, Cam Ward, Sam Laporte are waiting until round nine to take my first running back. Ramondre Stevenson, Kenny Gainwell, Jordan Mason, Chris Rodriguez, Tyler Algier, Dylan Sampson, Pat Frymouth as my Titan 3 Ryan Flournoy, Marshawn Lloyd, Isaac Tesla, Ted Hurst and Keenan Allen to round out the draft. Andrew, what are they saying?
B
Let's see. I have not been able to pull up your exact team.
A
I think it's a plus 100 out of 100.
B
Oh wait. Oh, here we go. Here we go. You're all right. Here we go. T strack try so you came in second. Oh my God.
A
Second. First loser.
B
But you know here we go.
A
85 out of 100B so what have I got? I've got Dalton Dell done. We've got Jeremy Schulman. Lots of people giving me nice grades over 90 points. Lou Brunson who liked your draft. No, no no. Didn't like your draft gave me a 63 out of 100. We gotta not in on the Cam
B
Ward or Sam laporte share this stream with him and he's gonna just like rip us.
A
You need to track you down but yes, I'm sure Sal Pal 2's roster the free slot with Brock Bowers, Colston Loveland was definitely one which looked nice. Producer cell Absolutely. See doing it all tonight.
B
73 out of 100.
A
73 out of a hundred pretty good.
B
Lou also didn't like his draft either.
A
Lou Brunson hated it. Lou Alfredo Brown though always liked him. He likes your draft, Sal. So yes, this has been a very fun one. Definitely interested to check in on this one as the season progresses and see how this plays out because it is such a unique format with the ability to start up to six wide receivers or to start up to five running backs to start four tight ends. There's so many different ways that things can break right for you in this one and we truly appreciate everybody who was in the draft with us. It was a lot of fun. I had a blast. Hosts: Tom Strachan & Andrew Erickson
In this engaging live episode, Tom Strachan and Andrew Erickson tackle the trending question: "Is Zero RB BACK?" as they conduct a live FFPC $5 Triflex Best Ball Draft. They explore current player news, veteran signings, and key best ball strategy shifts, all while keeping the tone lively and analytical. This episode dives into the unique Triflex format, includes real-time draft strategy discussions, and features an epic showdown between Zero RB and other modern draft approaches.
Scott Fishbowl Hype: Both hosts are amped for the start of the Scott Fishbowl slow drafts. Tom is in the "Zelda Ocarina of Time" division and sticking to his tradition of drafting from the 1.09 slot. Andrew represents Boston in his SFB 15 shirt while Tom has already upgraded to SFB 16 (01:25–02:04).
Veteran Free Agency: Tom anticipates veteran signings in the next two weeks, speculating on landing spots for Stefon Diggs and Najee Harris (02:04–03:09).
Wide Receiver Movement: Andrew muses about how a Stefon Diggs or Brandon Aiyuk signing could shake up the fantasy landscape, drawing parallels to previous offseasons (03:09–06:18).
"Stefon Diggs isn't cooked. ... I think when he does sign with somebody, if he signed in Miami and was declared wide receiver one, where would he go? For you, Andrew?" – Tom (05:13)
"Top 36 wide receivers, top third. I mean he was good last year and coming off the knee injury." – Andrew (06:18)
Settings Deep Dive:
20-round snake draft
No kickers/defense
PPR with 0.5 extra for tight ends
QB scoring: 25 yards per point, -2 for INTs
Unique lineup: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Superflex, 2 Flex
Up to six WRs or five RBs can start
"You could start up to six wide receivers on your roster, how does that make you think you want to attack this draft?" – Tom (08:00)
Implications: The hosts discuss how this format increases the value of WR depth but also allows for creative approaches at RB and TE.
(09:16–12:27)
(12:27–18:40)
Draft Positions: Tom at 1.06, Andrew at 1.05.
Round-by-Round Highlights:
"Look, I'm not gonna mess around on this one. I think that Lamar Jackson is gonna have a massive year and I'm happy to take Lamar." – Tom (13:36)
"I've been warming on Devon Achan a little bit... I still think there's a scenario where Achan can have a strong season." – Andrew (17:35)
(18:40–22:02)
Tom's Zero RB Manifesto: Tom goes deep on why Zero RB could be poised for a resurgence, citing historical underdog best ball trends.
"I strongly believe zero RB is not being utilized enough at the minute. ... I feel like 0 RB can work pretty much in any setting at the minute." – Tom (19:01)
Andrew's Take: Prefers first RB ~round 8 (e.g. Rashad White); highlights value in guys like Jonathon Brooks, Chuba Hubbard for pure Zero RB builds.
"Whenever a strategy is deader than dead ... that's when it becomes most effective, especially when less people are doing it." – Andrew (20:33)
(22:47–31:40)
Positional Runs: After a slew of QBs goes, Andrew calmly waits, loading up on RB and TE instead, knowing he’ll sacrifice QB but bet on dominance elsewhere.
WR Builds: Both stress the importance of nailing high-volume, locked-in WRs early, especially in Zero RB.
"I would like to get three to four wide receivers who I'm confident are going to be out there as often as possible..." – Tom (24:47)
**Tom holds fast to Zero RB, waiting to address RB until round 9. Both provide rationale for handcuff selections and avoiding low-snap WRs.
(35:00–51:11)
Names Debated: Ramondre Stevenson, Kenny Gainwell, Jordan Mason (especially in Vikings’ ambiguous backfield), Chris Rodriguez, Tyler Allgeier, Dylan Sampson.
Camp News Watch: Mason gets post-hype consideration as beat reports suggest him leading MIN; Drew notes Aaron Jones may be just third-down back now (43:16–44:57).
"I was a little bit surprised by some of Jordan Mason's stats from last year... my kind of copium, hopium, whatever you want to call it, is that in a more efficient offense ... he could be a little bit better." – Tom (41:53)
Expert Chat Banter: Real-time commentary on pick value, snipes, and surprise falls (further punctuated with friendly trash talk and Twitch chat shout-outs).
(31:40–41:14, 49:24–54:56)
TEs Go Fast: With tight ends scoring 1.5PPR, they are targeted early and often; Tom snags Trey McBride and Sam LaPorta, Andrew targets Tyler Warren and Greg Dulcich.
"He just plays the tight end position in a way that nobody else does ... He's just an absolute yak monster." – Tom on Tucker Kraft (33:59)
Dulcich Love: Andrew celebrates landing Greg Dulcich in round 13: "Probably the best pick I've made so far here in the 13th round..." (49:24)
(53:37–64:41)
(64:41–73:31)
Post-Draft Analysis:
"This shines a light on the risk you can take on if you decide to punt quarterback down the road. ... This is the bad scenario case." – Andrew (68:02)
"I would not want this running back room if I was in Redraft, but in this setting, in best ball, I feel pretty happy with it." – Tom (66:12)
On Zero RB Contrarian Advantage:
"Whenever a strategy is deader than dead ... that's when it becomes most effective, especially when less people are doing it" – Andrew (20:33)
On FFPC Triflex WR Upside:
"You could start up to six wide receivers on your roster..." – Tom (08:00)
On Draft Regret:
"I probably wouldn't be. I don't think I should. I don't think I should be driving in those [high-stakes drafts]. Can't drive. No, can't drive. You shouldn't be talking right now. You should be picking." – Tom (62:13)
On Draft Assistant Reality Checks:
"Sorry, I've just seen your draft grade." – Tom (67:23)
"They were not pleased ... I can't wait to see who hates me." – Andrew (67:28)
On Draft Experimentation:
"In some of these lower stakes best ball drafts, this does give you a chance to experiment a little bit more and take on a little bit more risk with some of these strategies." – Andrew (70:30)
The episode moves organically from news and league trends, through the nuts and bolts of live drafting, to a playful yet incisive review of results and strategy mistakes. Tom’s Zero RB build offers a case study in format-specific contrarianism, while Andrew’s running back–heavy, QB-light approach provides a teachable lesson in Superflex roster risk. Both hosts promote the idea that best ball, especially in low-stakes or experimental leagues, is the best venue for creative or unpopular drafts.
