For the ones who get it done. Welcome back, everybody, it's the Extra Point. I'm your host, Scott Bogman today with my man, Andrew Ericson. Ericson, little under the weather, but you're weathering the storm here, so we like to see that. So if Ericson sounds a little different, it is because he's a gamer and he's showing up here to get it done. What's going on, Erickson? You feeling better?
A
Yeah, definitely feeling better compared to earlier in the week, but still a little nasally. So I apologize for those that are listening at home. But here to help people answer their questions, fantasy lineups need to be set regardless of health status. So even though I'm on the injury report, we're going to show up and we're going to show out. Let's go.
B
And we can talk about Thursday games on this one on this edition, finally. So, yeah, lots of fun. But let's dive in here. Before we get to the questions, let me remind you guys about the Fantasy Pros Discord community. You can chat with other fans to get your questions answered that end up on our podcast feed. The current schedule right now is Worm and Fitz at 5 Eastern the first Tuesday of every month, myself and Fitz at 5 Eastern, the third Tuesday of every month, and Welsh and Erickson at on Thursdays at 2 Eastern except for today. Come and get your questions answered and be on the show. Fantasybros.com chat all right, first person up here with their hand raised is Devo. What is going on, Devo? How can we help you out today, my friend?
A
Hey, how's it going? Got a. I'm probably just going crazy here and probably should just stick with my guys. But I really want to see where I can fit Michael Wilson in. But currently I have Nico Collins, Chris Olave, AJ Brown and Tet. So is there any way I'm starting Mike Wilson over any of them?
B
If so, who, what do you think, Erickson? I don't, I don't know that we could give us, give us those wide receivers One more time, Devo.
A
It's Nico Olave, A.J. brown, and then Tet.
B
Will you start Michael Wilson over Olave Erickson?
A
Is it full ppr? Half ppr? Full ppr. Okay. Yeah. I mean, so Mars not coming back, right? Like, is he's out. Is he out this week? Do we know?
B
I don't. I. I would think. Yeah, I would think that he's probably down one more week.
A
Okay. So with that, we'll preface it with that. He's got to be out. If. If Marvin Harrison Jr. Comes back, I think you can probably just bench Michael Wilson. Although I don't think that he's going to go away entirely. I think compared to those other options, you probably can't do it. I'm looking at my rankings to kind of see I got him right next to Olave, so I think that probably would be the move. I don't think that you're taking on, like, this insane amount of risk if you bench Chris Olave just because he's attached to a rookie quarterback playing on the road. And Miami's kind of been pretty good against rookie wide receivers this year, so that would be the guy I would bench if you're trying to jam in Michael Wilson. Olave is ranked higher in ecr, but I can get behind the case. So I think that your initial read box with Olavi as the sit would be. Would probably be the move.
B
Yeah, I think I'm 100% with Erickson. If Marv is in there, you can't do it. Although we did hear Gannon say that even when Marv comes back, that Wilson is going to be higher priority, like in the pecking order. He's going to have more plays designed for him and things like that. But also he gives us this cryptic update on Marvin Harrison. It was like, well, if his mind, body and soul are all ready for him to be out there, then he'll be out there whenever that is. So. Doesn't sound very positive. So probably. Probably roll with Wilson this week, Devo. So. But just make sure that Harrison's not playing anything else for us, Devo?
A
Nope, that was it. I'll leave the Face off questions to the Face off guy when he shows up.
B
Awesome. Good stuff. All right, let's see. Jack, you are up next, my friend. What is going on, Jack? How can we help you today? You there, Jack? Jack, park twice if you're in Milwaukee.
A
All right.
B
Raise your hand again. We'll get it. We'll get it figured out, Jack. Serge. What's going on, Serge? How we Doing just working. There we go.
A
Good. How are you guys doing?
B
Great. How are you?
A
All right, two quick ones here. One, just kind of want your guys thoughts on the outlook of digs rest of season after Campbell goes down. Doesn't look like it's season ending but gonna be out for a few weeks and also Booty coming back.
B
That's your team, Erickson. I'll, I'll defer to you here.
A
Yeah, it's really unfortunate what happened with Campbell. Look, I guess it's possible you see each of the Drake May efficiency kind of tail off a little bit. He's. But I mean to his credit like he's been overcoming like pressure most of the season. The cluster injuries are concerning them because it's not just Campbell, it's also Jared Wilson that also got hurt. But I mean the matchups are still so good for him rest of season. Like he just played like everyone the Patriots play is just bad. Like every single team they play and I know that they're going to get destroyed in a playoff game this year because they're going to finally play somebody good. And so I'm just trying to keep that in perspective. Even if like they get the number one seed. I'm just very, very tepid about like oh, I'm all in on this team just because they really have played just the absolute cupcake of schedule. So I don't think you can really do anything with Diggs. I do think that it was kind of concerning that his routes dipped so significantly when Booty came back. I didn't really think that was going to be the case, but I would say it was kind of a. Everything kind of bad. It was like the worst case outcome last week. The Bengals have been really good against number one wide receivers. As weird as that is to see say they're actually the number one team in terms of allowing fantasy points to wide receivers just because they're so bad against every other position.
B
It's just a one time the quarterback's just like hey look, I can get the ball to everybody else. Look at this.
A
Yeah, they just don't cover tight ends. Like Hunter Henry was wide open by like five yards in every single attempt that he got, whereas Diggs is getting blanketed with coverage. So look, he still is the alpha in terms of the target leader on the offense. Still has been really highly efficient this season. So maybe he doesn't get up to low end wide receiver 1 numbers. Like at times we thought that he could do. He's probably just like more of a mid range wide receiver 2. And if Drake May continues to throw two touchdowns every single week, I mean, I think that he's going to be fine for the most part. So that's probably where I would rank him like in the 20 to 16 range.
B
Yeah, I agree. I mean, there's not much you can do there, but hopefully we just get more quick passes for him, you know, Will Campbell went on the IR today, didn't he, this morning?
A
Yeah. I mean, technically he could come back. It's one of those like types of ir, so. Ir you always have to like specify it's a season ending is the four week ir, but no, yeah, definitely a brutal, brutal loss. Yeah.
B
He's been so good this year. So. Great question, Serge. Got any more or is that that the one you had for us?
A
Yeah, just one more quick one. So I had Tucker Craft. Obviously he went down a few weeks ago. So I've been streaming Juwan Johnson most weeks, but I mean, with the increased usage of Taysom Hill and kind of like his running role is. Is this the, the phantom Taysum Hill, go chase it week, or should I just stick with Juwan Johnson from the.
B
Saints tight end position? What do you think about chasing Taysum Hill, Erickson? Because I just think it's a, I think it's a losing effort most weeks. Right. Like, it's just, it's kind of at random. I think you can see it sometimes. But even like when he had seven car a couple weeks ago didn't amount to much. So I think it's hard to go, you know, chasing those waterfalls like Taysom Hill, right?
A
Well, I would say that. I mean, last week he had 10 carries, so you had even more. I mean, his carries have gone up in four straight games, so 2, 4, 7, 10. Camara's down. Look, we always talk about playing for upside. In your opinion, Boggs, be straight with me. Who has more double digit touchdown upside, Taysom Hill or Joanne Johnson? You know, the answer is Taysom Hill.
B
It is. But in a PPR league, I think I'd still rather have Joanne Johnson week to week.
A
Week to week. Right. But in this particular matchup against Miami, like, I don't love that it's on the road, but yeah, no Camara, this.
B
Is, this is a week to hunt him for sure. I just feel like as soon as I do it, it's, hey, look, one catch for 70 yards and four runs for three yards. Right? Like, I don't know.
A
But I guess it's like, well, what are you going to get from Juwan Johnson? Four catches for 60 yards. Like, is that, like. So I get that. That's higher. Again. Johnson has a higher floor, but he.
B
Really pops off when Olavi gets hurt, you know?
A
Yeah, we want upside and Taysom Hill again, Camaro is out. Like, this is. He doesn't get opportunities where he's going to get double digit, double digit carries, touches, whether it's pass attempts. I mean, last week he just ran bad. I, again, I was watching that game closely because. Or at least like watching the box score because I had taste. Mill anytime touchdown and Camara goes down, I'm thinking, all right, wheels up. And he gets like. He gets like, like 17 attempts in the red zone that can't score, and I'm just like tilting my face off. So what about.
B
What about this? Who would you want between A.J. barner and Taysom Hill? Because they run Wildcat near the Gold line, the ditch push with Barner. So he has an extra, you know, he has an extra path to a touchdown. Would you rather have Barner, who's already out there getting catches, or would it be Taysom Hill?
A
I think it's still taste and Hill. I think I'm ready to roll the dice. Look, I talked about it last week. I thought last week was Taysom Hill week. Never wrong. Boggs. Just early.
B
Yeah, okay. Yeah, right.
A
I kind of like.
B
I like players and coaches screw it up. That's what it is.
A
I like. I like Hill this week. So I rolled the dice.
B
I mean, upside for sure. If you're, you know, if you're looking at that, those projections and you're 10 points or more behind, just roll Taysom Hill. That's what I would say.
A
Play that especially in and a half. And half PBR for touchdowns. More. Yeah, significantly more. Yep.
B
Thank you, Serge. Good questions, my friend. All right, it looks like we have. Who is this man? I need glass. Zach, I'm not sure how to say your name. What's going on? What can we do for you today, my friend? Is this working? I think I broke it. All right, how about Dredis? What's up, Dredis? Dead air here. There we go. What's up, Dredis Erickson, I raise your.
A
Sick and raise you one laryngitis.
B
Oh, God, man. It's like. It's like I'm in a ward of the hospital here.
A
Yeah, I just had a. A few start sit questions, if that's okay.
B
I'll put it in the chat. Of course. Yeah, go ahead. Let's see. All right, full ppr. First one Erickson Tyrod or Shuck.
A
Let's see. Man. Whenever it's these garbage quarterbacks movies. What does ECR think? Because I don't know. What if I have a lead? I have. I mean I got, I got. I got to Rod. No ECR's got to Rod. I got to Rod. It's super flex.
B
So I can potentially put somebody in.
A
There instead of one of those. Because I got Stafford as my main qb, I'd keep. I'd roll the quarterbacks.
B
Yeah, me too.
A
They just have like. I mean like they get 15 points. That's like a bad game from a quarterback and like that's a decent game from most like skill position players. So I think the floor is too high. So I would just go with Tehran.
B
Yeah, I would go with Shuck. But I mean flip a coin, you know. I think they're both in the same QB2, QB3 borderline there strange or Henry Erickson. That'd be Henry against the Giants on and Strange at the Titans.
A
Probably Hunter. Henry Hunter.
B
Yeah, more like I think as well. And then Here, here's one sit one Rico McConkey Olave Diggs and won Dale. I think it's Wandale. He's been so good recently, man.
A
Is it Diggs? Yeah, it's hard for me to sit one day. He gets like 11 targets every game he does.
B
McConkey, McConkey or digs.
A
No, I don't want to sit, Man. Maybe I gotta move Diggs down. Honestly, because I'm looking at this and.
B
Start Olave over him and.
A
Can'T take. I mean is it. Do you just. Can't say. I mean you sit Rico against the Rams.
B
No, like dude.
A
I mean he's been like seating touches to Chip Hubbard though. Like it's like his usage has not been that great the last couple weeks.
B
No, he's kind of been kind of.
A
Had like 44, middle of the range.
B
He had the ball for 22 minutes.
A
No, no, no, you're right.
B
I think if they have the ball for 30 minutes, you're going to get a full assortment of carries from Rico. So I'm not benching him.
A
And I think. Yeah, the split honestly 75, 25 with them this last game. Yeah, I think it's probably a lot of them. I just. I just think that quarterback, rookie quarterback on the road against Miami who is just again one of these defenses that's like low key, not that bad against fantasy wide receivers. Not because they're like particularly good, just the way that teams play them. You could see things go south for the Saints offense, whereas Diggs playing the Giants, Wanda's playing the Patriots are bad against wide receivers. Conkey is the number one receiver for the Chargers. So again, if you like, look at like, which quarterback do you want to fade again? We already talked about fading shock, so. So I guess I'd fade his number one wide receiver. So I guess it's a lot because I feel like he's the one that's like less likely to totally burn me. So that's what I would do. At least it's a good question.
B
We sat in him and hot on it for a long time, so obviously a tough one to answer. Very, very nice. And then this last one is one Flex Waddle, Harvey or Neil. I think I tossed Neil out so it'd be Harvey for me.
A
Swaddle Waddle.
B
Okay. Yeah, I think so.
A
Should have known better than to ask Erickson to sit Waddle. I mean, hey, look at the production. The production speaks for itself.
B
He's playing Washington.
A
That is true.
B
I, I, I still, I think Waddle's safer, but Harvey has more upside.
A
So this half ppr. By the way, is there anyone else you can sit? There's got to be someone else. I'm not sitting Hn or Cook.
B
Nope.
A
Okay. Or Pickens or CD Lamb. So no.
B
Nope. It's a good spot to be in, though. That's a great lineup. So I think just go with Waddle. You have enough upside there already.
A
Well, too. I think too. So to your point, Bog. So this is where the floor ceiling thing kind of play. See what Dallas Cowboys wide receivers do this week. If they suck, then you got to know. Okay, I got to shoot for upside. Maybe that's Harvey.
B
Yep.
A
You know what I mean?
B
Likely to score twice.
A
So you can change your lineup a little bit depending. And then if they both smash, it's like don't risk falling into the Shane Payton shenanigans. Play Waddle. He'll be fine. Because you already you're up 40 points because Pickens and Lamb went off against the Chiefs. So maybe you final decision. Hopefully CD won't drop the ball 10 times this time. Is he going to go three weeks in a row where he drops a touchdown? Who knows?
B
I think he's just allergic to the Eagles. So outside of that, he's been pretty good when he's not hurt.
A
So thank you so much, guys. Have a good Thanksgiving.
B
You got it. YouTube. Dredis. Feel better, lady man. Yeah, and I see better. Banshee says, speaking of voice options, this stuff is going around Bad this season. I can't remember my wife or kid not coughing anymore. So.
A
Tis the season, right?
B
That's right. We used to get. When I lived in Arizona, we would get summer colds sometimes this is still worse in the winter because that's when it's going around. But you get the summer colds because everybody's inside in the summer because nobody wants to go outside because it's so damn hot. So it's kind of the opposite effect. So it happened to me a couple times where I got a summer cold in Arizona, but this is typically the time. Maddox, you are up next, my friend. What is going on? Maddox, how can we help you today? Looks like.
A
Can you hear me? Can you hear me?
B
We got you now. Perfect.
A
All right. Perfect. All right, so first question. I've got Kenneth Walker. I've got Devin Neal, half ppr. If Kamara is out, do I start Neil against the Miami defense? Mars not gonna play. So.
B
Yeah, so you're going.
A
So he's gonna start over Walker.
B
Over Walker, Eric.
A
Oh, no, not over Walker. No. I thought you were just asking. Okay. No, I mean, Camara's definitely not playing. He's definitely out this week, but not over Walker. Not as a 10 point home favorite against the Vikings who are just spiraling right now. Just being Brosmer, it's like, dude, poor guy.
B
Poor Brooks Brosmer. On, man, it's bro, it's.
A
No, it's Brosmer.
B
Brosmer. Of course it is.
A
Well, I. Bro, don't make.
B
Don't make me bro you Brosmer. Yeah, well, like it was Blake Brodles. Should have been Blake Brodles. If there was someone that I was ever going to be, bro, it should have been Blake Bortles for sure.
A
But yeah, no, I would. I would play Walker. The Walker got pretty good usage last week. Played his highest snapshare of the season. And Mike McDonald, in all of his press conferences since that game, he's been talking about how he felt Ken Walker on the field. And that's from the coach speak index. That. That is pretty bullish for me that the coach is feeling his running back on the field. That. Okay, this could be sticky and a positive game script. I think Walker could see north of like 20 carries in this game, to be honest. So I think he could have a big game. Okay, awesome. Second question, last question. So I've got New Orleans defense, I've got Pittsburgh defense. Do you like the two defense playoff approach or should I stick with just one and if so, which one?
B
Typically I don't do defenses. I Just play matchups every single week. And I understand knowing it. If you have the bench space for it, it's fine. But I would rather handcuff a running back even if it's not going to give me anything, then carry two defenses most weeks. What are your thoughts, Erickson?
A
Yeah, I would just keep one defense and because again, you're going to be competing with less teams in the playoffs to get defenses off the waivers anyway. I don't know what Pittsburgh schedule, rest of season is for defenses. I know that the Saints schedule is pretty good, so that's the one I probably be rolling with. Just based on their overall aggregate matchups.
B
Dolphins, Lions, Browns. In the playoffs for the Steelers.
A
Yeah, I mean Lions is bad. I mean, obviously the Browns is good and Dolphins. So yeah, I guess. I mean, if you don't like anyone on waivers, I guess it's fine. But I mean, you could probably drop with the Steelers playing this week again. They're playing. Oh, yeah. So drop them. This. I mean, do you think someone's going to pick them up and start them? Probably not. So.
B
Yeah, not against Buffalo.
A
You can likely. Yeah. Yeah.
B
So I'd rather grab like if a Brian Robinson is out there or who's another handcuff you'd want to just.
A
Mostert would actually be me right now because I have Genti.
B
Yeah, not bad. Just in case he doesn't.
A
I don't know.
B
Right.
A
Like, right, right.
B
Yeah, yeah, I would rather do that as well. So anything else for us there, Maddox?
A
No, that's going to be it.
B
Awesome. Thanks, man. Appreciate it.
A
Thank you, guys.

A
What's up guys? Can you guys hear me?
B
We got you.
A
All right, so I just had a few questions, kind of like some start sit advice here. So I have a league where you know, we know Joe Burrow's coming back this week and you want to play on Thanksgiving. But I also have Bo Nix against the Commanders. What do you guys kind of see who to start? Any insights on that?
B
It's a good one. Where are you going there? Erickson Between Bo Nix, who is still a high score but seems to Take three quarters to get going recently or Joe Burrow coming off IR against the Ravens on Thursday.
A
Yeah, this one is really easy for me. I think it's bonix, I guess the commanders and look, I don't know if I'm like taking crazy pills or something, but I don't understand Joe Burrow as Quarterback 8 in ACR. Like, this guy is coming off so much missed time. And Tom Strachan tweeted this out last week before we thought Joe Burrow was going to play his quarterback finishes in week one, the last three seasons. QB 28, QB 30, QB 31. Like, I just, I don't understand the confidence that oh yeah, he's going to drop back in and just fire on all cylinders. Like that makes no sense to me now. Now maybe I'm just wrong. Like I would be totally willing to eat the L if I'm wrong again. He. It's Joe Burrow and that's hard to argue against, but we got a pretty, we got a pretty large sample size of him coming back after a long layoff and doing absolutely nothing. He's also missing one of his best wide receivers and T. Higgins against the Ravens on the road and their defense has played significantly better so than they have to start the year.
B
So. So I don't, it's obviously.
A
I don't understand.
B
It's obviously Bo Nicks here. But let me ask you, now that we're here, how far down is Bo Nix on your on your rankings this week then? Because I'm sorry, not both.
A
QB9, QB Joe Burrow is QB19. Like, I'm not like, like the only guy that I would probably start him over of like someone that you like might have on your is Brock Purdy and that's because he's facing the Cleveland Browns on the road.
B
Okay.
A
Like, I just, I don't know. Like, am I crazy Box?
B
I don't.
A
Because like I'm seeing like he's, he's ECR is QB8. Like it's ahead of Dak Prescott.
B
Yeah, like, look, I understand that and I, and I moved him down as well. I got him at, I got him at 10. I don't have him at 8, so. And I have Bo Nixon 8, by the way. So just looking at that. But I think what you're seeing is, you know, this isn't week one. It's middle of the year. He has already played this year. He's been in practice every single week. Yes, you're right. He's coming off an injury, but he also looked Good to go on Sunday. And they just decided not to plan because this game is on short rest and we've seen Jackson Dart get dropped in with no experience and have huge weeks. We've seen Jacoby Brissette as a backup come in and blow up. We've seen Mac Jones come in and blow up. So I think that, I think it's.
A
The guys weren't coming off injuries, though. I understand that those guys were coming off injuries.
B
I get it.
A
Like, that's the thing.
B
But, but, but, but I think that's what. But I think that's why the rankings are like that.
A
Okay, so you're trying to justify.
B
Yeah, yeah. I'm not justifying it personally, but I'm saying, and you know, it is a decent matchup against the Ravens. They haven't put pressure on quarterbacks well this year. The coverage hasn't been great. So, you know, I, I think it's the matchup, the fact that he probably could have been back last week and that we've seen other guys drop in out of nowhere and have huge weeks, I think that is what is leading towards this ranking. So.
A
Okay. And look, again, I'll go credit to look. He's also, like, when I thought about, like posting something about this because I just, I just can't get on board with where he's ranked this week. And maybe I'm wrong because he is Joe Burrow. Right? Like, at the end of the day, if, like, you want to start Joe Burr because not Joe Burr, like, I don't care. And that's how I'm wrong, because he is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL when he is 100 healthy and 100% right. I'm just very suspect of that being the case here in this matchup. Behind, again, this is still a bad offensive line they're playing on the road, which you don't like for bad offensive lines. He's missing T. Higgins. This is, it's just like we have a sample size of him without one of these guys in the lineup with Higgins, his efficiency falls off without T. Higgins in the lineup. So I get that Chase is back, but like, losing one of your main guys and replacing with Mike Gasecki and Yoshi Boss, like, it's not the same thing. It's just. It's just not. It's just really not. So that's why I'm hesitant. Like, I just think that this rank is way too aggressive. I think that the Bo Nix vs Burrow is a total layup. I mean, he's facing the commanders. They're terrible. So bad. And there's no risk with Bo Nix. He's a mobile quarterback. He runs, he's healthy. He's been good in good matchups this year. So look, maybe in some other debates with. I could maybe entertain Joe Burrow again. It's like, Joe Burrow, Brock Purdy. Give me Joe Burrow. Like I'll take the risk because I don't want nothing to do with Purdy against the Browns on the road. Like after his Monday night debacle, go.
B
Like three more interceptions.
A
I. I do. I do not. I mean, you could probably drop Brock Purdy because no one's gonna pick him up or playing this week and he's also want to buy next week. So. So. So then yeah, that's my, my art. My. My long soliloquy on Joe Burrow. I. I don't know. And maybe I'm. Look, I'll be the first one to admit eat the L. If he balls out on. On Thursday night, I'll probably be asleep during that game because I don't know if I'm going to make it to the hole Thursday night football game. But we. We shall see. We shall see.
B
Yeah, I understand. DB you see this hornet's nest you kicked up here? That was awesome.
A
What a great question. Yeah, no, I just. I wanted to get a chance to talk about. Bur I didn't get a chance to talk about any other shows this week just because I. I don't know. I. I just. I'm very much against the market here and I'm kind of interested to see what happens. Great question. Yeah, I mean, I definitely feel like Burrow is probably going to be a better start, like maybe further down if they keep him activated. Don't sh.
B
You know.
A
But yeah, my other question was I don't have to kind of. I mean, I dispos. I was a toss up, but I would just. So I have the Patriots kicker right now against the Giants. Do you guys have any strong opinions on any kickers this week? Like Harrison? Bucker is on my waiver, you know, against the Cowboys. So I don't know if I want to pick up a different, you know, different or just run with, you know, Andy Borgales against the, against the Giants.
B
I'd take the Chiefs kicker indoors, you know. Yeah, should be a high scoring affair back and forth a little bit as well. So I think. I think I would just take the safer kicker and that would be Bucker.
A
Yeah, I agree.
B
If we have opinions, that would be mine.
A
Yeah, I think too. So I heard this on another show. This is like the first dome game the Chiefs have played in, I think like eight weeks. So they haven't played indoors.
B
I wonder if he gets nervous about it and whiffs because of that then.
A
Because now he's kicking under pristine conditions.
B
I will say what Buckheart does love to do because I have a Chiefs fan buddy that we go back and forth with Buckhurt a lot. He loves to miss like a 42 yard field goal and then hit a 56 yarder. You know what I mean?
A
Like, no, nobody loves to miss a 42 yarder. Like, but.
B
He loves to miss those mid range ones that should be automatic and then hit the impossible ones and every once in a while an extra point too, which is frustrating. But he's still a pretty good kicker. That's why he's been around for a while. Don't love his opinions on a lot of things, but as a kicker he's pretty good. So. Appreciate you, D.B. good questions, my friend. Obviously brought out the fire in Mr. Erickson here.
A
I just, I, I'm just, I don't know, I just, I just, that one to me just, it just sticks out like a glaring thumb this week. And look, I, I, I'm very interested to see what happens. And again, I admit, I'll be the first to admit that. Oh no, Burrow's back.
B
Well, dude, when I opened it up, he wasn't, he wasn't at 10. He was at like 5. Like he was way up there. When I, when I started making my rankings and I did the, what are we doing here? He definitely needs to come down. So I was with you. Maybe not as fiery as you, and I obviously didn't move him down enough, but. Yeah, I, I get it. Like, you're coming off the ir. I don't care if it's a, you know, a matchup that you're familiar with or not. It's still the Bengals O line, so definitely has to be a little bit lower.
A
And even like if you look at like some of like the betting stuff, like the Bengals team total this week, it's like 21 points.
B
Yeah.
A
So it's not like the market's expecting this.
B
Chase Brown's not getting any of those. They're all going to Jamar Chase. Just so you know.
A
So. Yeah, so. So again, we'll see what happens.
B
It's 300 yards and three touchdowns. Surprised you didn't know that, man. What is going on, my friend? How we doing, Bucks man? You there?
A
How's it going, fellas?
B
What's going on? How we doing?
A
Doing good, doing good. So got. I have three questions.
B
First one is surrounding Lamar.
A
He ruined my week last week. I had Jameer Gills and because of Lamar, I lost by four points. So can I stop Burrow or Lamar this week? I mean, Bucks man, you just listened to what I just said. I mean, I'm starting.
B
Yeah, I go with Lamar too. And I understand your frustration, Bucks man, but I also think that it's like, you know, you have, you have Lamar for a reason and he's going to go when he gets. He may not be right this week, but when he gets right, he's going to carry you. So I understand the trepidation and you know, even because of this, you know, he didn't practice day one, but he practiced in full yesterday. I think he'll be better 100. I don't know about that, but I think 75 of Lamar is better than 100. A lot of quarterbacks out there. So give me Lamar still.
A
Keep him.
B
In that lease and another lead half ppr.
A
Would you do Lamar or Stafford?
B
Ooh, that one's closer. What do you think between that one, Erickson?
A
Yeah, man, this one definitely is tougher because Lamar feels like he's definitely more risky just because of the injury stuff in Stafford. Dude, McVeigh is trying to get this guy as many touchdowns as humanly possible.
B
Yeah, I know he wants him to win mvp.
A
Yeah, so. And he's facing the Panthers, who lost like three of their secondary starters last.
B
Week, but they picked up pretty a bunch. Come on.
A
Yeah, yeah, it's. Yeah. And then, and now all those guys are hurt like so, like J.C. horn's probably not going to play.
B
Are you projected to win this game or is it a tight one? The one where you have to. Tight one. It's a tight one. Then just give me Stanford, give me the safety.
A
I think, I think you gotta play. Probably play it safe here with Stafford again, it's just like I get like the nuke. Like, like the 35, 40 point game is, is Lamar. But Stafford, I mean, does he have a game? Like does he. Has he busted at all this year? Like, does he have a, like a bad. I don't, like, I don't think so.
B
Like, so he had. Yeah, if you're one below 10 points the whole year and I don't think Lamar.
A
Lamar doesn't have 10 points back to back weeks, which is very, very sad.
B
That's correct. Yeah. Yeah.
A
So I would say just don't be on tilt if we do see Lamar go off against the Bengals because Stafford will still give you a top 10 performance. Yep.
B
That's. I haven't met like four and six, so. Yeah, if it's close and I want the safety, just give me Stafford. So that's how I would work it as well.
A
Got it all right in there.
B
One more question.
A
In a deep, deeply half ppr, would you go Addison or Yoshibots this week?
B
Yeah, it's got to be Yoshi because Brosmer. Yeah.
A
You can't.
B
You cannot play anyone. Yeah, like Jefferson was. Jefferson was. Probably got the overreaction from Brosmer on the. The ecr. But Addison definitely had an under reaction. I. I moved Jefferson up and moved Addison down.
A
So Addison is wide receiver 47 and ECR and that's. He's buried. He's buried.
B
Yeah. No, T. Higgins, Joe Burrow back. It's got to be Yoshi.
A
Yeah, you got to do Yoshi, boss. All right, cool. Thanks, fellas.
B
Appreciate it. You got it. Appreciate you, my friend. Before we move on, let me tell you guys about our Twitch out of bounds with Joe Welsh and myself and is on Twitch every Monday at 2 Eastern. Myself and Welsh spent two hours answering questions and playing Madden Live. The last Madden game we played, Erickson was wild. If you didn't see the end of that, Dredis, if you have it still, if you could send it to Ericsson, that would be amazing because it was crazy. The end of it. Seth and Debro will be with you on Thursdays at 1pm Eastern and Fridays at 2pm Eastern. We've also got fantasy football Q and A for every Sunday at noon. Eas, head over to Twitch TV Fantasypros. Give us a follow so you never miss a stream and ask your questions live. All right, let's see. Is that ns? Ns. What is going on? You are up next, my friend. Looks like you're on mute there on your mic.
A
Figuring it out.
B
And hey, guys. We got you. Yep, go ahead. Awesome.
A
I had a couple of questions. My first one is a start sitting. I have one spot open in my flex. I have Rico Dowdle, Darnell Mooney, Cortland Sutton, and Aaron Jones. So it's.
B
It's Rico, Jones, Sutton and Mooney.
A
Yeah. Two receivers and two running backs.
B
And we're so we're starting. We're starting one of these guys.
A
I'm sorry, you're sitting one player. You're starting one of these guys.
B
Rico.
A
Yeah. Rico.
B
Rico, easy.
A
Okay, and then my next question. I know you guys Talked about it a little earlier, but I kind of cut out during that time.
B
But about the whole Drake May.
A
Will Campbell situation.
B
Is he still startable?
A
I'm kind of projected for playoffs and I kind of want to line up my run. My quarterback, before it starts, is Drake May still start?
B
Yeah, he's definitely still startable.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah, you got. Especially this week against the Giants. It is just. We'll have to see the adjustment. I don't think it's going to go, you know, back to how horrible it was last year, but it does suck that Will Campbell and Jared Wilson went down at the same time. So it's frustrating, but he's absolutely still startable.
A
Awesome. Erickson, before I head off, just some good news for you. I had Burrow stashed, and on the deadline, I traded him away just for scraps, just to get him off my roster.
B
Yeah, that's right. Get rid of Burrow. He sucks. Yeah.
A
I sold him as soon as I could. This is gonna be so bad. Thank you, guys.
B
Perfect ns. Thank you so much, my friend. You're the borough hater now, did you know that?
A
No, I don't want. It's just this week, man, like when it's Week 17 against the Cardinals, he'll be up. He'll be back in my top five quarterbacks.
B
So let me ask you something. Just this week, why do you hate him so much? You just. Are you a big Alabama fan? Can't stand anyone to lsu? What's the deal? Why do you hate Joe Burrow?
A
I can't. I don't hate Joe Burrow.
B
Yeah. Guy hates the spot.
A
Hate the spot, man.
B
Red Beard. What's up, my friend? How we doing? Doing all right, y'.
A
All.
B
How are you doing? Good. Redbeard used to love it when Andy Dalton was a quarterback of the Bengals back in the good old days before that idiot.
A
There you go, the Red Rocket.
B
That's right. That's right. Your cousin. So, yeah. What's going on, man? How can we help you? Not much.
A
Two quick ones.
B
First one, prepping for the playoffs. I should have a buy in week.
A
15, so it's just 16, 17.
B
And New Orleans. And Houston's on waivers this week.
A
Houston?
B
Which one would you. Houston.
A
Yeah. Yeah. Elite defense with elite matchups. It's the perfect storm.
B
That's where I was leaning.
A
But I wasn't sure with the matchups.
B
That New Orleans had.
A
My other question would be a quick sit start. With Bucky coming back, are we waiting to see what he does for a week or.
B
Because I would play him either. Would you play him ahead of Quinn, Sean Judkins, Travis etn, Devonte or dk? I wouldn't. I wouldn't play my claim ahead of.
A
I'd play more with dk, probably.
B
Okay. I also have Woody Marks and RJ Harvey. Any of those worth throwing in on.
A
Top over one of those four.
B
Oh, give me the four again. I'm sorry.
A
You're good.
B
But the four that I've got at.
A
The moment in my flex is Quinn.
B
Sean Judkins, Travis etn, Devonte Smith, DK Metcalf. Three that I might potentially swap out was Bucky. But I kind of feel like waiting on him like y' all said. And then RJ Harvey and Woody Marks. I think I would start Harvey over DK or Vonte. Smith is banged up. Right. So I might start a little bit.
A
Yeah, he didn't practice it. Yeah.
B
If something happens with Devonte, obviously Harvey goes in. But if Devonte's up and good, then I probably go with Harvey over dk. What do you think, Erickson? Yeah.
A
Harvey over DK and yeah, Devonte. Yeah, he's banged up. Especially if the Bears get some of their cornerbacks back, you might not see a ton of passing volume from the Eagles. Just because the Bears are so beat up at linebacker. The Eagles just like don't stop talking about, we gotta get Saquon going. Gotta get Saquon going. So this could be a jalen hurts like 15 pass attempt game. And when that happens, someone gets left out, whether it's Goddard, A.J. brown or Smith. And if Smith's injured where he's paddling an injury, I could see like we look up. Oh, he only played like half the snaps. It's like because they just ran the ball 35 times. So I think Smith, you might want to try to grab gravitate away from this week. I know I bet the under on his receptions prop already, so I did realize I've got.
B
I got Minchi also. I don't know if. Yeah, don't play.
A
Don't play Jets. You don't have to.
B
We're not putting him in over. I don't know that you have. Yeah, I. Yeah, yeah, that's good questions. Red Beard. Appreciate you, my friend. Let's see who's up next. Jack. What's up? Jack, you're back.
A
Hey, guys. One dynasty question. 10 teams. Guy is tanking and I'm like 400 points over everyone else. And he offered me A.J. brown for Garrett Wilson. I know Garrett Wilson might come back for a pretty Decent playoff matchup. Just curious your thoughts on that value.
B
I mean, if you're 400 points better than everybody else, I'm not taking. I'm going to keep Wilson and just, you know, wait on him to come back. So if your team is that much better than everybody else, this isn't a move that you have to have in my opinion.
A
Yeah.
B
So I think I would keep Garrett Wilson because he just has a much longer Runway for success. Obviously he's much younger than A.J. brown, so.
A
Yeah.
B
All right.
A
One starts sit for this week. ECR is kind of right on top of each other with this. It's Debo, Kenny Gainwell and Aaron Jones for flex.
B
It's not gain well for me. So for me it's either Debo or. I'm sorry, who was the other person?
A
Aaron Jones.
B
Aaron Jones Debo or Aaron Jones Erickson?
A
I mean, I like game well.
B
So.
A
So here's nothing. Not Debo for me. Okay. Yeah, please. So.
B
So here's my thing with Gainwell, right? It's the fact that it was Mason Rudolph last week. So they were going to run a lot regardless. Plus Jalen Warren was coming off the ankle injury, which they said wasn't major and obviously wasn't because it was about 50, 50, I think with Aaron Rodgers back. Aaron loves Warren in there. He doesn't get the ball to Gainwell as much. He will if, if Warren goes down. Right. So I think we'll still see seven to ten touches from Gainwell. It's just he had a 55 yard fake tush push, almost touchdown in that game. That was 55 of like his 96 yards. So I think most weeks Gainwell is not going to be doing this PPR league. He catches a lot of passes, so that's nice. But for me, if it's not, it was gain. Well, it was. I'm sorry. God, my memory is so bad today and Aaron Jones.
A
I just, I got a bad feeling about Debo with no Jaden Daniels. And I also kind of feel like, I mean Rogers has a broken wrist. Like he's not going to like come back healthy. I like, I like. I still, even to your point about some of the Gainwell stuff, you mentioned, it's the Bills run defense so bad they can't stop anybody. Like the Texans ran over them. Texans are terrible at running the football. So I think Gainwell, again, I just don't like the other guys really like Debo. Like his efficiency has fallen off a cliff because he's much older. He's been dealing with some injuries. Terry McClure might come back this week.
B
It's going to be.
A
I don't want any part of that again against Denver. Yeah, the Denver defense off of bye week. Like no thanks. And then Aaron Jones is just tough spot. He can't like him and Kenneth Gamma both catch passes because like with Aaron Jones you're on the road as 10 point underdogs to the Seahawks.
B
I just think way more touches with Aaron Jones, so that's why. So I would go with. I, I honestly, I'd probably go with Debo for the upside because they'll run short passes and reverses with him too. So I would probably go with Debo. But I understand, I mean I understand these arguments for sure.
A
It's the one same league that I'm winning by a ton in the Dynasty league. So like even if I lose, I still lock up a bye week. So it's not like I'm shooting for. It's not a painstaking massive upside. Yeah, yeah, right. It's kind of like whatever. When I look at these three guys, what I'm most confident in efficiency bet against the Bills run defense. Like that's what I feel most confident about. And that benefits Kenneth Gainwell the most. So. Yeah.
B
And if it's not that big a deal.
A
Yeah.
B
Roll with Gainwell in the weak matchup then.
A
So sweet. Thanks guys.
B
You got a jack. Take it easy, my friend.
A
You.
B
Let's see. Twitchy. What's up, Twitchy? How we doing, my friend.
A
From Twitch? Hey, how's it going guys?
B
What's going on? Good.
A
Hey, I got two questions.
B
So I'm trying to. Trying to steal a playoff spot. Right now I'm chasing two people and right now I'm five and seven. Actually, no, I think I'm five and six.
A
I can't do math.
B
Regardless, I got a wide receiver problem.
A
And a QB problem. So first off is my wide receiver problem.
B
My most consistent. My best wide receiver by far is Michael Pittman Jr. But he's going against the Texans, so that makes me nervous because.
A
Because the Texans defense looks great.
B
Yeah. My other three receivers are Michael Wilson, Jameson Williams and Khalil Shakir. So I gotta start two out of the four. Who are you going with? So what are you.
A
Should I.
B
Should I go with Pittman anyway?
A
No, I would not do that.
B
Okay.
A
I would. Jameson. I would start Jameson. And who was the first guy you mentioned? Michael Wilson. Even though Harrison might be back.
B
Yeah, I don't think Harrison. But. But even if he does, they said that they're Going to prioritize Michael Wilson more because he's been so good. I mean, he is really developing a good rapport with Jacoby Brissette. So I'm with Erickson. I'd probably sit Pittman out of that group. Okay.
A
I mean, I think that he's the lowest ranked and I mean, he's lowest ranked in ecr, so, like, even if, you know, Marvin Harrison comes back, you probably play Shakir then.
B
Yeah.
A
Michael. Michael Pittman's the guy that's ranked last.
B
I do. I have Jameson one spot ahead of Michael Pittman in my rankings as well. But Michael Pittman is one of those guys where you look at his ranking this week and you go, what's he doing down? Oh, they're playing the Houston Texans. Yeah. Okay. Yep. And then you don't really mess with them. I think that was kind of how I saw Pittman this week anyway. So. The only thing that makes me nervous about Jameson is because of that donut that he gave me last week.
A
I mean, he's given donuts before. This is nothing new. This is the JMO experience. You gotta ride the donuts to get the big games. Just. Okay. Part of the process. And if you get too ping pongy, you're gonna miss out on the spike again. I. I get it. It sucks when he puts up a donut, but this is the first donut he's put up.
B
He's the Maryland and then of wide receivers. If you don't. If you can't handle me at my worst, you know what. Is that what it is, Eric?
A
Yeah, basically. Because look, week seven, donut weeks nine, 10, 11, wide receiver, 12, wide receiver, three wide receiver, five. Like, it's just. It's just part of the position with wide receivers. So she's got a plan.
B
Boom bus. Yeah, my.
A
My only, like, copium with Michael Wilson.
B
Is even if Harrison comes back.
A
I think Harrison would just steal the.
B
Touches from Dortch, but I may be wrong.
A
No, no, I agree with that. I think that it would be Dorch that kind of fades out completely with Harrison kind of filling in those gaps.
B
Harrison is quickly number three in Arizona. Right. Like it's. Trey McBride is one. We know that for sure. It'll be interesting to see the targets between Harrison and Wilson. But, you know, if he doesn't get. If he comes back and plays this week and he doesn't get as many, everyone's gonna be like, wow, that was the first week off injury, whatever. I don't know. I don't think it is. You Know, he is just down in the pecking order.
A
I actually have both McBride and. And Wilson, so it's been pretty great, actually.
B
Yeah. Yeah. Last week was good. Last week was good, even though neither of them scored a touchdown, but. Oh, well. And then my. My QB issue is right now I have Purdy and I have Brissette. So I made the mistake of not starting Brissette last week and because Purdy played well his first game back off injury. So I'm going to start him this week because I don't think Birdie's gonna have a good game this week, but I may be wrong.
A
Oh, you're right. No, you're. No, let me stop you there. You're playing percent. You're playing percent. Don't think twice about it, man.
B
Yeah, no, I'm not.
A
I'm not.
B
I'm definitely starting Brissette.
A
He's.
B
He's doing really well and he has a. I think he has a pretty good matchup.
A
And.
B
But my problem is the bye week for Purdy. Right? So I. I'm losing Purdy and CMC because I have CMC as my number one running back.
A
So.
B
And that. That week is my most critical week. If I lose it, I'm out, basically. So. And I'm right now like 54 maybe favored. So it's either I. I risk Brissette and he's going up against the Rams, or I pick up a third QB right now in preparation for that week, and I have a. I have a decent amount of options to pick up.
A
What are they?
B
I'll tell you right now.
A
Or. Who are they? I got Bo Nix.
B
Yeah, I. I got Derek Goff who's going up against Dallas actually that week. Let me pick up golf.
A
Yeah. Yeah, you can just drop party. Yeah, you don't need. Just drop him for golf.
B
Yep. Wait, wait.
A
Hold on. Hold on, guys. Hold on, guys.
B
We don't need more options. Golf is good. Is that. Is Dak Prescott available?
A
Yeah. Right. No, no, no, no.
B
Then just pick him.
A
It's golf. Baker Mayfield. Bo Nicks.
B
Baker Mayfield, too.
A
Yeah.
B
It's golf. It's golf against golf. Yeah, they're secondary like they made improvements to the defense. Quinn Williams with Kenny Clark. It looks dangerous to stop. The run over shown back is great for them. They didn't fix the secondary, so.
A
Yeah, drop her. Drop pretty. He's playing the Browns, then he's on a buy. No one's gonna want him, especially if golf's on the waivers. Yep.
B
Bring him back.
A
Okay. All right, all right. All Right.
B
Well, rest of the season, how do you guys feel about the Rams as. As defensive team? Yeah, they've been awesome. Yeah.
A
I mean, they're probably gonna win the super bowl. So like it's. They're just the friggin juggernaut on offense, on defense.
B
Yeah, they look great now. Absolutely. I got the Rants and I have Landman. You think I should just ride that.
A
Out the rest of the season?
B
If I make it? Yes, I think so too. Okay. Yeah.
A
All right.
B
Thank you guys. Thank you guys. Appreciate your advice, you guys.
A
Thanks, Richie.
B
Take it easy, my friend. All right, good question. Good questions. Absolutely. J. Chow. What's up, J. Chow? How we doing, my friend? Jchel, you there. Going once, going twice. All right, raise your hand again. Jcha, we'll come back to you. Zach. You did, you did. We figure it out.
A
Hello? Can you hear me?
B
We got you. What's going on? Awesome.
A
I wanted to ask two questions. One, my full PPR league. I need to choose between Neil More and Machi.
B
Neil More.
A
Which more Neil. DJ.
B
Oh man, this is a good question. Yeah, I think it's Neil. I think just take those guaranteed touches.
A
Yep. We're in like a race for highest points and you get paid for that. And we're all within like two points of each other. I. I think four might be better for me there. Yeah.
B
Well, then you'll get it with Neil for volume, for touches. If Camara's okay, it's going to be out, so.
A
All right. The second question was for my dynasty league.
B
With Higgins out, I'm wondering if I.
A
Should flex Yosevich or Washington, the one from Miami. But we do punt return yards in that league.
B
Malik Washington.
A
Yeah. What. What has he been scoring in, in the format? Like, I'm just not familiar. I'm not as familiar with the punt return yardage in between, like 9 and 16 points, like pretty consistently. I mean, I think that's something. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know with Burrows coming back and Egan's being out, if Yoshi's gonna be like a pretty good start or not or. I mean, I think that. I think what we got from Yoshi last week was, is like prototypical, like what we would expect. So like not amazing and then just depends if he catches a touchdown or not. Is like, it kind of makes her breaks if it's like a high upside play. Because they, I mean, they were really trying to get Gaseki involved last week. I was like, oh no. Like this is like full on Mike Gasecki mode going on. Right here in the first quarter for the Bengals. And we've seen pretty. Pretty strong splits when T. Higgins missed last year. Mike Gasecki had like these monster games. So also, it could be a lot.
B
Of punts for the Saints. Right?
A
Saints. Yeah. Yeah, that was a good point. Yeah. So I think with the. With the punt, I think it's close enough just like straight up that you're then adding in the punt return. I think that does very much in favor of Malik. Agreed. Okay.
B
Also, actually, maybe, I guess the third.
A
Question you kind of. You're saying you had a bit of trepidation with Burrow this week? Joe Burrow?
B
A bit, Yep.
A
I'm sorry. In my league, unfortunately, I have to choose between him and Brock Rudy. That's the one. That's the one guy I would play Burrow.
B
That was the example that he gave.
A
Yeah.
B
If you didn't hear that party, it's like, I mean, if it's Birdie, I'll play Burrow.
A
Oh, you know, that's the only guy. Like, that's. So, yeah, you have convinced me as. As much as I have basically piled on Joe Burrow on the show. You have give me an answer where the answer is yes, start Joe Burrow. It's the one time it works. All right.
B
Thanks, guys.
A
I appreciate it.
B
Of course, my friend.
A
So. So for your sake, I hope that I'm wrong about him being a bad start this week.
B
Fingers crossed. Jay Chow is back. What's going on, J. Chow? How are we doing, my friend? Nope, still can't hear you. Sorry, Jay Chow, you can put your question in the chat. We'll try to get some of these here in the chat at the end. Let me just scroll back through and see if we have some questions up here. Thank you, Dredis, for helping people out with the microphone today and for posting this Madden thing. Really appreciate your help here. I don't know if I'm seeing it. I think it's just a lot of comments. Here we go. Here's one from J. Spar. Juwan Johnson, Hunter Henry or Schultz? Full ppr. What do you think there, Erickson?
A
Is this in the chat?
B
Yeah, I see it's way up. It's at like 130.
A
Sorry. Okay. What. Who are the Titans? Joanne Johnson.
B
Sorry, Juwan Johnson, Hunter Henry and Dalton Schultz.
A
I think it's under Henry for me again, if. If they got to get the ball out quick. Tight end, underneath option. I mean, I'm really interested to see what the pat's offense does to adjust without Campbell, Jared Wilson. But you know, we would think that that means more quick passes, so less splash pace. Splash plays for guys like Booty Mack Hollins and more underneath stuff which benefits guys like Diggs and Hunter Henry. So I think that you'd stay in the flames. Henry was also really good last week. I know it was the Bengals, but I think that they continue to ride him. So Henry, for me, what if I.
B
Told you that the Indianapolis Colts are allowing the second most fantasy points to tight ends? Would that change your mind with Schultz at all?
A
You definitely piqued my interest.
B
Right now they're averaging 6.4 receptions allowed, 72.2 yards to tight ends and half a touchdown. So the touchdown is kind of. They're not the Bengals. Bengals are the only team averaging over a touchdown allowed to tight ends all year. So. But the receptions are there against the Colts because their linebacker has not been playing great.
A
No, that is a good point because Schultz, again, I'm trying to not take really much stock into what happened last week because the Bills are just this like elite team against tight ends.
B
Right.
A
They basically shut down everybody. So I wouldn't like, don't like downgrade shelves like too substantially so actually in full ppr.
B
Let me see where the Giants are.
A
They're like, they're kind of like mediocre. They also have like a ton of injuries in their, in their secondary. Yeah, I guess it's like, I guess it depends, like, is it going to be Davis Mills again? Because Schultz has been on heater with Mills, like been a top 10 tight end in three straight weeks with Davis Mills.
B
I don't really trust Schultz on a week to week basis and I feel like the quarterback issue makes us go, okay, is this going to be Higgins? Is this going in? Higgins is getting more snaps as well, so. And so is Noel and Kirk was great last week as well. So I just think there, there are fewer options to get the ball. So I think I would rather go with Hunter Henry.
A
So.
B
But yeah, I just wanted to throw that.
A
I think Henry. Yeah, but again, to your point, I think that again, if you are. You got Schultz and you're kind of. Are you concerned about last week? I wouldn't be concerned about him busting last week because it was a really tough matchup and like you said, the Colts is a much better matchup, so he should be fine. But I think, I think Henry probably has more upside attached to Drake, man.
B
And then he asked us to rank the flex options. Pierce saw Higgins Strange and Trey Tucker. I'm going to assume this is Jaden Higgins because T. Higgins is down. So Pierce all. Jaden Higgins Strange and Trey Tucker.
A
Higgins and Strange at the top. I mean, dude, Trey Tucker sees like.
B
So many targets and Pierce all doesn't.
A
Like, you can't start. You can't start Pierce. All right? He hasn't been consistent enough.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
So you can't start him. Higgins has been pretty solid. The Colts have good corners, but if Sauce is going to be on Nico, then that should give Jaden Higgins some opportunities. And he's been. He's been pretty good over the last couple weeks. So Higgins Strange. It's full ppr. He's kind of been the guy for Trevor Lawrence. It's the Titans. I think Strange is pretty solid as well. I mean, it's like Higgins versus Trey Tucker.
B
Ugh.
A
Like, I'm just like. Like. I mean, Tucker had 10 targets last week. That's the thing. Like. And there's no one else besides Brock Bowers. But is the Raiders offense. The Chargers are pretty tough defense. I think I'd probably go with Higgins and Strange. So agreeing with Jay Sparks leans here. I'm not. I mean, I'm not convinced. I can't like come up with a better argument to be like, oh, well, it's obviously Trey Tucker as the play here. Yeah, I know. He had like, he had a boatload of air yards last week. More like yards. Because it's just like Geno Smith just like chucking is.
B
Dude, he had him wide open twice. That could have been 150 yards and two scores for Tucker.
A
All right, so. So then maybe, maybe it is Tucker. Then it's like, again, this is why. This is like the typical buy low, like air. Air yards model thing. Right? Like the guy gets like 200 air yards and the next week he goes off.
B
So I do think that's a ridiculous. Like, you know, you would have to have a different quarterback for those to come to fruition. Right, Right. Like Geno Smith overthrows guys constantly.
A
So. But they did get Chip Kelly. They axed him. So he's gone. Got Greg Olson coming in here. Where do I have these guys ranked? They're back to. Back in ecr. Where do I have Higgins? I mean, I got Trey Tucker pretty strongly. I mean, he had 10 targets last week. Like he's got eight plus targets back to back weeks.
B
I got pretty steady top of this list.
A
Yeah, I think it's. I think you gotta go Tucker. You just gotta kind of like close your eyes, press the button. Trust spreadsheets.
B
Just take the Tussin stink. Mangioni asks Nicks over Lamar.
A
No.
B
No. So it's still okay.
A
I would rather just.
B
I'd rather be go down with the.
A
A week too early on Lamar than a week too late. I do it. I cannot stomach a Lamar 35 point game against the Bengals and I have to watch the entire thing on Thanksgiving night. I could not do it.
B
I want to go especially because, you know, I don't want to have to watch this nonsense because.
A
Because you know how bad that defense can be. And look, last week again, Lamar banged up his toe, says he's feeling much better and there were opportunities for him to have a much better game. Last week he almost scored a rushing touchdown and Mark Andrews, like he had a red zone touchdown. He just didn't catch it. So I think that there are some things to be optimistic about. Maybe he never gets healthy. That's always a possibility. But once he is quote unquote healthy, I mean, you. You see the guy that scores 30 points per game in fantasy.
B
So a couple more here. I think one from Fernando and then we get to J. Chow to end us out here. Fernando ask full ppr, Pittman or Wilson. I think it's Wilson this week, right?
A
Yeah, Michael Wilson.
B
Also. Texas still worth the start this week. Jags, Falcons, Dolphins are available. I think I just roll with the Texans. The defense looks incredible right now, so.
A
Yeah, and I don't think that we're. We're not afraid of Daniel Jones. Bogs. I don't think.
B
No, I mean, listen, maybe they score, but he could still turn all over six times, right? They may.
A
They made Josh Allen look like Daniel Jones last week. I mean, I'm obviously being tongue in cheek. Daniel Jones has obviously played much better this season, but I don't think that he's a.
B
Six turnovers against Pittsburgh.
A
So except for a quarterback to be feared, especially if the Texans open up with like a lead or something. You see, Dan Jones can get rattled at times and then that creates opportunities for turnovers. I mean, the Texans are so good defensively that I mean, I don't want to say they're like matchup proof, but I think they always have a. Like they're live to score fantasy points in any matchup, even against like the best offenses in the NFL. So yeah, roll the Texans keep them, especially with their playoff schedule. So, so good. I was so bummed they were on the waivers in one of my leagues and I just missed out on them. I was so pissed. It's like, oh man. So I'd Pick up the Buccaneers instead.
B
Oh, and then they got torn.
A
Dude, they're playing Jacoby, man. They'll get 50 pass attempts. I'm hoping for some interceptions, maybe some sacks.
B
Dude, I had Zion. I had Zion McCollum last week in my IDP league. Thinking, man, Devonte's gonna torch him. He's gonna have some.
A
Dude, he didn't have tackles cause they.
B
Were all in the end zone. So.
A
I was getting cooked, man.
B
Cook like Thanksgiving dinner. J. Chow asked us. He put his lineup in here and he's asking about a flex specifically if Genti misses this week. Right now he's got Makonkey and flex the bench. He's got Genti. Obviously he was questionable to play. I think if he plays, he slides in that out Pierce spot. But would you play dk? C Rod? Like if. If Genti doesn't play Pierce. All C Rod. Dk. Alec Pierce. Is it Alec Pierce for sure?
A
Probably. It's probably dk. I know he's got this ankle injury thing, so we gotta.
B
No Shamir either dk.
A
Oh, sorry. Sorry, sorry. No. Yeah, Pierce.
B
It appears pretty easy. Yeah, he's got Manangai as well. You throw him anon guy over Pierce.
A
No, I don't want Bears running backs this week, to be honest. On the road against the Philadelphia Eagles, I don't love that spot. So I think. I think I'm cool with leaving those guys on my bench.
B
He said, who should I drop Panero for? He's got Parker, Washington and Mechi on waivers. I think I want Metchie. Brian Thomas is going to come back.
A
Yeah, that's what I'm concerned about. Washington just came back.
B
Right.
A
So yeah, eventually the, like the Parker Washington experiment might end soon. Or. Or else Brian Thomas Jr. Is never going to get targeted again. Like, I mean, when we're talking about. Okay, like walk of the week. If Brian Thomas Jr. Plays, there's no way his. His under over reception is four and a half. There's no way he's catching five passes. It's not happening.
B
One more question. Who reflects if Devonte is out this week in another league? He's got Wilson and on Guy. Q.J. higgins, Sampson and Videl. Videl and Michael Wilson back.
A
Yeah, those two. Because we still don't know that Hampton's gonna play. So.
B
Yeah, yeah, I think if. Yeah, if no Hampton, I think Fidel. So what are the chances Aiden o' Connell replaces Gino now that he's off IR and practicing in full? I think they would go to Kenny Pickett before they Go back to Aiden o', Connell, don't you?
A
I mean, Gino hasn't played great, but, I mean, I think that Chip Kelly was like, a lot of the problems for this team. Like, like, I don't. I don't think putting o' Connell back there is going to magically fix, like, a broken offensive line. And like, the play calling we do is so bad. Just terrible. Whatever they were saying, like, the one of the tackles was getting, like, no help, like, at all last week. And that's why he, like, he got sacked 10 times.
B
You have no sippy. Yeah, yeah.
A
So I don't. I don't. I think Aiden o' Connell is an interesting guy. I think that he's been kind of. Kind of underrated in his starts, but, I mean, maybe they do that to kind of evaluate him. But I wouldn't anticipate Gino, like, get straight up benched unless he just throws more interceptions. So it seems like the coaching staff is still pretty behind Gino, but then again, like Pete Carroll, is he really there for the end? I don't know. So o', Connell, I think is like an interesting, like, super flex stash in some of these deeper leagues, especially in Dynasty. He shouldn't be on waivers, but besides that, I think it's probably going to be Geno for most of the season.
B
I think so, too. And I think they'll get Mr. Outside higher for next year. I'm not nearly as high on Aiden o'. Connell. I think that's why they traded for Pickett, is part of the reason. Obviously o' Connell went down, but I just. I'm not an Aiden o' Connell believer at all. Dredis asked IDP question between Miles Garrett or Jack Campbell, both great options. It's got to be Myles Garrett. Like, the dude is getting four or five sacks a week. Way higher floor for Jack Campbell. So if you need the floor, take the tackles with Jack Campbell. Specifically against Green Bay. They're going to run up the middle a lot, so Jack Campbell is going to be involved. But if it's a swing play at all, this IDP spot, it's got to be Myles Garrett. If you can play both of those. I want to play them both. Garrett is going crazy right now.
A
Yeah, IDP is. So this is such a curious thing because it's like, dude, Miles Garrett's gonna break the sack record and he may not even be the most valuable player in IDP leagues. It's just like, come on, we got a different scoring. No, no, no, no. I know, I know. It's just like, we. We have to make it so that no, if this guy's gonna break the sack record, he has to be valued way higher. We got to change the scoring to make sure that he's getting more points than everybody else.
B
Well, regardless of the scoring, he is the. The highest value because of rpv, right?
A
Yeah.
B
You cannot. There's no other lineman that's anywhere close.
A
Yeah. Closes and he's not as A. An IDP comment because I do play in two leagues with IDPs. Guess who am I starting? Guess who my starting defensive back was. Who is it the guy that punched Juwan Jennings in the.
B
Trevor.
A
Yep. So, like, I'm watching the game because I'm like, all right, Morgan gets back tackles. Like, this is great. And then at the end of the game, I see him punch Joanne Jennings. I'm like, dude. And then I get like, the notification on Tuesday. Trevor Moring Sus. Yeah.
B
Well, imagine how I felt because I had Jamar Chase this week and couldn't start him and beat in two spots. So, yeah, don't spit and punch on people. It's not that hard. So figure it out. But appreciate everyone asking questions and hanging out with us today. Remember, you can follow us your Twitter. Erickson.
