Let's get something straight. Not all whiskey is bourbon and not all bourbon is Wild Turkey. Though, if you ask me, it probably should be. Born in Kentucky, made in America, and enjoyed all over the world, Wild Turkey has made its pre prohibition style Kentucky Straight bourbon one way, the right way, for over 100 years. And the result, well, we like to think it speaks for itself. Wild Turkey Bourbon. Trust your spirit. Copyright 2025 Campari America, New York, NY. Never compromise. Drink responsibly. All right. And welcome into the Fantasy Pros Fantasy Football podcast. It's the Week 12 start sit episode where we'll help you get lineups locked for one of the most important slates of the season. I'm your host, Seth Wilcock. And of course, we're tapping back into the big brains of two of the top rankers from across the Internet, including a man who has one of the more wowing displays of pop figures behind him that I've probably ever seen. He's the Athletics, Jake Sealy. Jake, how are you heading into the weekend? And since you are a pop culture guy and since this is our last show ahead of the holiday, I have to ask, what is your 101 of Thanksgiving movies?
A
Thanks. Are there Thanksgiving movies like, like, like pull this.
B
It's a sub genre.
A
I was going to say of like three.
B
Like, what. What is the.
A
What is the full list here? I like it. I actually can't think of a single Thanksgiving movie off the top of my head. Give me one.
B
I was. I was gonna say Charlie Brown. Thanksgiving's probably the OG right?
A
Oh, see, like, yeah, I didn't even go like, see, that's. I wasn't even thinking that.
B
Tower Heist. Have you ever seen Tower Heist? That's a good Thanksgiving.
A
Yeah. So. Well, the Tower heist, that kind of falls into, like. I don't want to start it, but whether or not Die Hard is a Christmas movie. So if you're going down that road. But I mean, outside of Charlie Brown. Yeah, 100%. So we'll just say Charlie Brown because that's 100%. But, yes, I do not have any Thanksgiving figures behind me, though I will say that I do. Also, I already have the Christmas stuff out ready to go if you saw that. But there's five bins sitting over here that we're going to be doing today.
B
Very nice. Very nice. Well, excited for you to be here and taking time out of the busy decorating schedule. Also back with us is someone who's going to be trading the empty nest for a buzzing household over the next few days. Pat. Fitz. Morris. Pat. How are you?
A
Good.
B
Great to see you. And are you ready to trade the empty nest for the kids coming back home from college?
C
Yeah. Things will be a little more chaotic than they have been in the last couple of months with the kids back for the holidays, so that'll be fun. Looking forward to it. And we got to get our decorations up, too. And I know. I saw Jake's photo on Twitter of his five bins of Christmas stuff, and there were, like, some people reacting, like, five bins. What a maniac. And. And I'm thinking about how we have, like four bins plus a bin for, like, that's just Christmas ornaments. We're pretty much there too. So, you know, watching people call Jake a maniac and knowing that they would feel the same way about us, it's.
A
Lucky it's not more. I've actually. I pulled up the Thanksgiving movies and there's, like, friends giving the turkey bowl free birds. I haven't seen, like, any of the Thanksgiving actual horror movie. Like, there you go. Like, if you wanted to go that route, that was actually half decent for a change.
C
What was it? What was that?
A
The thing is actually called Thanksgiving. It's similar to. I'm trying to. It was the one where the scarecrow.
C
Silent Night, Deadly Night. Okay, that's Christmas. But was Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
A
They have that on the list.
C
They have that on Thanksgiving. They're trying to get home for Thanksgiving and not Christmas. Yeah, I couldn't remember.
A
There you go. Let's do that one. I mean, Fitz and I are definitely aging ourselves with that one, though.
B
Honestly, I know the name of the movie. I don't think I've ever seen that movie. So maybe I'll put that on the list.
A
You weren't born until, like the 90s, right?
B
So, yeah, 98. 98.
A
So there you go. Yeah, 100% you. I would expect you to know that movie.
B
We're trying to get better at the pop culture references from that day and age, so I'm trying to get slowly better. Derek gives me a hard time over on the Twitch streams all the time, so hopefully I'll brush up on that for the next show. We do have a loaded program for y' all today, though. Start sits for this week's popular waiver wire ads. We'll also get to the guys flag plant players, plus a slew of Start Start sit debates. Quick shout out to everyone who's rocking and rolling with us on the Fancy Pros YouTube channel or the audio feed. We appreciate all the support so far this season. Please do us a quick favor. Give this video a thumbs up if you enjoy this type of content. Also, make sure you subscribe to the channel if you're new. We're trying to get to 300,000 subscribers by the end of the season and we can do that with your help. Also, be sure to check out our weekly and rest of season consensus rankings@fantasypros.com rankings and guys, let's go ahead and jump into whether we're starting or sitting the popular waiver wire ads starting with Emmanuel Wilson for the Green Bay packers, currently coming in at ECR RB21. He was the big catch of the week right now, rostered in 66% of leagues after scoring 13.9 fantasy points after Josh Jacobs went down with an injury. Pat, you are the resident cheesehead in the building. So is there anything that's preventing you from saying Wilson is an auto start against the Vikings this week?
C
Yeah, maybe one thing that I'll get to in a second, Seth. But just first, an appreciation. To have Emmanuel Wilson be such a focal point of attention this week is an example of why fantasy football is such a wonderful game, right? No one in the fantasy community was talking about or debating Emmanuel Wilson this summer. No one was talking about Emmanuel Wilson when he came to the league as an undrafted free agent from Fort Valley State. Shout out Fort Valley State. And now this week he was the darling of the waiver wire and there's been a lot of debate about how much was too much. As far as fab spending for Emmanuel Wilson. I've got him ranked RB24, which puts me above three spots behind ECR on him. And Wilson is a very competent backup running back, big enough to handle a substantial workload. I'm just not 100% sure he is going to get a substantial workload even if Josh Jacobs is indeed out. And as of Thursday morning, the invaluable fantasy pros are they playing Tool was giving Jacobs a 41 chance of playing this week. The packers have two very competent backup running backs. Emmanuel Wilson is one. Chris Brooks is the other. We Wilson has played 178 offensive snaps this season. Brooks 72 snaps. I don't know if the reason Wilson has played more is because the packers have deemed him to be better than Brooks. I think it might be just because Brooks is more heavily involved in special teams. Wilson is not. Brooks has actually played the third most special team snaps of any one on the Packers. Brooks is a good player. And in fact, with about six minutes left in the packers game against the Giants last week and the packers down by one, Jordan Love had this big completion to Savion Williams that moved the packers into the red zone. Brooks had a phenomenal blitz pickup on that play that bought Love all the time he needed. So it would not surprise me if Jacobs is out this week. If Brooks contributes pretty heavily this week. You know, most weeks when Jacobs is around, they don't need Brooks to contribute heavily. But I don't know, it could be a 7525 split in Wilson's favor. It could be more like 6040 or 55 45. And until entirely possible, Matt LaFleur just goes with the hot hand approach.
B
Yeah, and we've seen how that can sometimes affect fancy running backs. Specifically last week RJ Harvey got sniped at the goal line when everyone was firing him up and excited and Jahliel McLaughlin gets in there. So Jake, do you think it could be a fold you game from Emmanuel Wilson? Are you pretty confident in rolling him out there in the RB2 position as an RB2?
A
But what Fitz said this is also as a complete aside is why all of these handcuffs in the world need to be on rosters like stop. It's point of the year. We do not want to be chasing all of our fab on Emmanuel Wilson, which could blow up in our face anyway. Go back to the Broncos days where it's like is it Ronnie Hillman or is it I forget the other one. Like people, we're always picking the wrong Broncos running back. But that's also where I agree with Fitz on this is that it might be the wrong one. We started this season and everybody was saying Chris Brooks was the next man up and then that evaporated. And I think I was on Chris Harris's podcast and he drew the comparison of Wilson to Chris Rodriguez, which I thought is a really good one, as that kind of power back who's not going to do a lot in the passing game. And so like let's say Chris Rodriguez was on the packers. We'd all be saying yeah, cool RB2. But also understanding the risk that Fitz brought up is that if this goes somehow competitive, maybe the Vikings shock us and it goes sideways and all of a sudden the packers are playing catch up. The passing downs are probably going to lean to Chris Brooks as he said. I agree with that. So an RB2 but an RB2 with risk. I have him one spot in front of Judkins just because I hate the Browns offense at this point. And I mean we're talk about somebody who's finished outside of the RB2 territory more times than he has of late. Has been like 30s and 40s for juckins despite getting 18 touches. But if you want to start Judkins, like that's the range that I think he's in is like the Judkins, the Aaron Jones workloads, those kind of guys. So I'm not going to split hairs. Like if you really want to be like I want to start that guy, no problem with it. But that's where he is. Back end RB2 for me with fits a little bit higher but not much.
B
Okay, and let's go to another Wilson. Michael Wilson, wide receiver for The Arizona Cardinals ECR Wide Receiver 21 it may have taken two and a half seasons, but we finally got the breakout performance from the Stanford product last week when he finished as the wide receiver one overall, scoring 33.5 fantasy points. No Marvin Harrison Jr. Again this week. So are you starting Michael Wilson with confidence against the Jags this week, Jake?
A
I chuckled because that's actually legitimately where it Happened is at 21 I think it was a little bit lower, but it's risen over the week where I wonder if some people were ranking Marvin Harrison, not knowing what might go on with that. But it really comes down to this is me, somebody who was higher than most of Michael Wilson coming out of college and has been disappointing. I want to root for Michael Wilson because I thought the talent was there for where he could. Yeah, see, and kind of the one that was like, okay, let's understand maybe a year three type of thing where he needed more development and that's understandable. Like he wasn't a complete prospect coming out of college. All that being said, throw all of that to the side and like we've been waiting, it really comes down to Jacoby Brissette. Maybe he's not throwing 57 times, but he's averaging. Even if you throw that game out, he's averaging almost 40 attempts per game. He is playing the Petsig offense better than Kyler Murray was and the one thing he's picking up and Alfredo Brown was on my podcast yesterday. Took the words right out of my mouth. He's understanding something that Kyler wasn't Throw it to Trey McBride. Throw it to Trey McBride. Throw it To Trey McBride and open up your wide receivers. All that being said, I do think there's some risk similar to the situation we just talked about where now Wilson's asked to be the Number one, and maybe this is the first game of the Cardinals last weekends, like who do we really match up with? Dort showed up late, but like the focus is on McBride and maybe they actually spread the coverage a little bit more this week. Talking about the Jaguars, who have a pretty good secondary and kind of treat Wilson as a number one. I'm not sure he's capable of doing that, but again, I'm offsetting that with we're still probably going to get 40 pass attempts for Brissette. So as a wide receiver too, with wide receiver one upside, but a wide receiver four floor, I think that's where he is. I have Michael Wilson one spot in front of Brian Thomas if he plays on the other side of that ball in front of Juwan Jennings with all the options there. So that's kind of where I have Wilson.
B
Okay, Pat, where do you have Michael Wilson and is he in lineups this week for you?
C
Wide receiver 18. So yes.
A
You like? I need a little more.
C
Yeah. The target outlook still terrific. Probably not going to get 18 targets again, but double digits very well within play here. I think I'm guilty of having underestimated Michael Wilson as a player, not just last week, but overall. I pointed out that he was averaging 1.09 yards per outrun for his career, which is a terrible number. But I know that Matt Waldman, author of the Rookie Scouting Portfolio, thinks Michael Wilson is just flat out a better route runner than Marvin Harrison Jr. And Kyler Murray is a first read quarterback and Wilson has not been his first read very often. And last week Wilson looked very legit and he is in a pretty good spot this week against a pass funnel Jacksonville defense, not a pushover as Jake mentioned, but the Jaguars are better against the run than they are against the pass. So would not surprise me if Jacoby Brissette did get to his average in pass attempts per game and threw it 40 or more times.
B
Shout out. Jacoby Brissette. Man, it's been so much fun to see not Only Marvin Harrison Jr. Have some good games with him, but then Michael Wilson and then Trey McBride all of a sudden not allergic to the end zone. Pat, I know you and I have kind of been riding that ship like this guy can't find pay dirt and he finally has with Jacoby Brissette. So that's been been really fun.
C
Yeah, he's like another Joe Flacco. It's fun to have this.
B
Yeah.
C
Journeyman sort of star turn late in his career.
B
Absolutely. Let's go to another running back that was hot off the waiver wire. RB for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sean Tucker coming in right now the ECR RB27. Tucker had his second game of his career last week where he totaled over 34 fantasy points in PPR formats last year he followed up his RB1 overall finish with with just 4.8 fantasy points. Pat, do you think we get a better result this time around, specifically with Bucky Irvin still limited as practice as of Wednesday?
C
Yeah. So the are they playing tool gives Bucky a 36% chance to play or at least as of Thursday morning. So I'm ranking Tucker as if Bucky is not going to play and I've got Tucker ranked RB27. That might be overly ambitious. Even though he had 140 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns last week, he still played 11 fewer snaps than Rashad Whites. And now Sean Tucker goes from a matchup against a bad Bills run defense to a matchup against the Rams, who have allowed the third fewest fantasy points per game to running back. So I think it's going to be a harder road for Tucker this week.
B
Okay, Jake, your thoughts on Sean Tucker. This is a guy a lot like Mike Wilson that was one of my favorite sleepers coming out of that class and it's taken a couple years, but is this a spot we maybe continue to see the breakout or is that just a one hit wonder?
A
Well, so you know, part of it is the talent of Sean Tucker and somebody that if not for the injuries probably would have thought a little bit higher coming out of college and then also in the NFL might have landed in a better spot. So we can understand the talent, but we can also understand exactly what Fisk said, the situation here. So there's two parts I actually wanted to add to that as well as I remember watching that game closely last week because we were talking going into last week's game that oh, Sean Tucker might push for the lead. Sean Tucker might be pushing for 50, 50 if not more. And the beginning of that game, I remember sitting there going, wow, Rashad White looks better than he has maybe this entire season at the beginning of the game. Like Rashad White looked decent in that game, like the Bucks offense was churning and Rashad White was part of that also. Still on passing downs they go to Rashad White and that's where my concern is. Like I have Rashad White a little bit higher. Apparently I love him higher than Fitz. I have him only at 25. He's right there with like Donovan Knight and Charbonnet and everything. But my concern of the risk is if this turns to a passing game for them that they start going back to Rashai White more. Maybe Even not a 50 50, but maybe it's 6044 white because of the passing down. So I do think that we can be excited for Tucker, but we could also understand that there's still risk baked in here.
B
Okay, makes sense to me. What about Kenneth Gainwell, running back for The Pittsburgh Steelers RB 29 in ECR right now Kenny G is back over 50% rostered after posting nearly his second 30 of the season a week ago. Jalen Warren no show at practice on Wednesday. So if he does not suit up, is Gainwell in lineups?
A
Jake yes, but that's only like so I don't I have Warren in so I don't have Gainwell that high right now because I have Warren as in they said he could have came back in the game Wednesday practices as we know this, but you might as well throw him out the window. Wednesday practices mean nothing unless you're actually practicing coming off injury. Then it's like a good sign. It's more good for your actually practicing then if you miss practice, who cares. We will know today unfortunately after we record this podcast. But if Warren is good to go then I'm going to have Warren inside my top 20, maybe even pushing my top 15. Game will be a flex running back and kind of in that range where if you want to take that shot of like the Charbonnets, the Algiers, that kind of running back, if there is no Warren to your question game will probably be right in line with like Emmanuel Wilson. Because the one thing we did see is once like Warren was officially done, Warren tried to come back in that game. Once Warren left the game it was a 6040 split with Caleb Johnson. I'm not saying I'm a afraid of Caleb Johnson by any stretch of the imagination. Like it's funny how he gets a pass. Nobody in the industry is talking about the entire industry. All of us. We all missed on Caleb Johnson. Caleb Johnson was supposed to come in and be Najee Harris. He's been a non factor and like he just gets this pass and nobody cares about it. But I do concern that like Kenneth Gainwell will be the lead. But let's not put him into the RB1 or even the top 15 because it looks like Caleb Johnson's finally getting his opportunities. Two weeks ago he actually had the first two carries of that game and now he didn't get anything after that. But I do think that Gainwell should be like tempered expectations similar to Emmanuel Wilson. I'd probably rank him in front of Emmanuel Wilson, but I wouldn't put him inside my top 15 just because I think Johnson would be involved.
B
Okay, Pat, where are you at on Gainwell if Warren is in or out?
C
All right, first of all, Jake, I'm not giving Caleb a pass as someone who took him in one of my dynasty.
B
Oh, no?
C
No. All right, so right now I am. I am not ranking Jalen Warren and the fantasy pros are they playing tool was giving him a 36% chance to play as of Thursday morning. So I'm ranking Gainwell as if Warren is going to be out. And I've got him at running back 13.
B
Wow.
C
All the way up.
A
I would not go that high. Wow.
C
Yeah, so. And I know like Caleb is. Is going to have some sort of role if Jalen Warren is out, but Gainwell has been fantastic whenever Warren has been out. 134 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns against the Vikings in Week 4. Then last week, with that 60% workload share after Warren's departure, 105 yards from scrimmage, two touchdowns. So Gainwell really did most of the damage as a pass catcher last week. Seven catches, 81 yards. Both of the touchdowns were on receptions. That. That dual run catch usage is really attractive. And his matchup against the Bears this week, like, no worse than neutral. Probably better than neutral. And look, there's just not a lot of pass catching firepower for Pittsburgh. So I think Gainwell is going to have a big role. Big role. If Jalen Warren is out.
A
How dare you be spurch the name of Roman Wilson. Come on, Fitz, let me follow this up.
C
I'm excited that Wilson has passed up Calvin Austin. Oh, I am too excited about that.
A
I'm a Roman Wilson fan. But let me. I'm going to jump in. Sorry, Seth. I'm just curious because I'm looking at where I would probably push him up to is probably, about, as I was going to say, RB17, where I have Warren. So I'm assuming, would you have Swift and Hall behind Gainwell?
C
Yes.
A
I think that's our biggest difference then. So, like, yeah, there's those two names. I'm also here.
B
I'm not buying the Roman Wilson hype. I'm just going to say that I've been down this road multiple times. We've gone by the wayside a few times. Like coming into the season, everyone said Roman Wilson going to be the wide receiver two for the Steelers. It wasn't so but I'm with you guys on game. Well, I do like him a lot this week. I think he'll be a very fun start if we get Jalen Warren out of there. And like, honestly, as a Steelers fan, I'm okay with Jalen Warren. Take a week off, man. Like get you back healthy. Take, take a seat on the pine with Rogers and let's see you come back in December when we need you.
C
We'll accept your apology when the Holy Roman Empire is established in Chicago this weekend.

Available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcast. All right guys, let's go ahead and get to your flag plant players. Starting with you Fitz. Who are you starting with confidence in week 12?
C
Brock Purdy, and he was sharp in his return last week. 73% completion rates against the Cardinals for 200 yards and three touchdowns. 49ers had a big lead throughout, which kind of held on Purdy's yardage total. But the 49ers defense is so injury riddled and their pass rush so feeble that I wonder if we might just start to see sort of the Dak Prescott effect with Brock Purdy, where his defense is giving up a lot of points and Purdy has to shift into overdrive to keep it up. And I don't know if the Panthers can force Purdy into a shootout on Monday night, but who knows, maybe they can. Bryce Young had a big game last week and the 49ers their pass rush, lowest pressure rate in the league, fewest sacks in the league. Opposing quarterbacks can make a sandwich in the pocket against the 49ers and still have time to find an open receiver. So I just, I think Brock Purdy might get thrust into a lot of shootouts down the stretch and maybe he gets thrown into one Monday night against the Panthers.
B
Yeah, I love that call. And as someone very invested now in Tetero McMillan after going out in trading form a few weeks ago, I would love to see it. Bryce Young say what you want about him, that guy was gritty. He was getting absolutely taken down. Shots left and right, edges coming out, blind side of him. And he was just taking hits last week. So I was really impressed by him standing there in the pocket. And if he has more time this week against San Fran, I think he could do some damage. Jake, what about you? Who is your flag plant or for Week 12 of the NFL season?
A
Well, I guess I have to bring them both up because I thought Yoshovis was going to be the layup and then I see that I'm still really high on consensus and I even checked Fitz's. I'm actually 8 above him because he has him at 36. I'm at 28, like top 30 play. And it's hard because you have to parse out without Chase or without Higgins. And a lot of the split tools want to do one of the. So you have to actually go through all the without Chase on the field, all without the Higgins on the field and kind of like put it together. But when you do put it together, Yoshovis has actually been a borderline wide receiver too. Now, it's a very small sample, but the target share is there at almost over 20% because without one or the other, he steps into the number two. He's just been the number two. And that's where I'm looking at it. It's like if you want to argue for some of the names behind them, but I have them in the same tier of like a Mooney, a Dobbs, a Shakir. So like again, there's, there's better floors in there, like with Shakir, but honestly, Shakir's floor was almost a zero last week. So like, I get it, but I just, I thought he would the layup, but so I put a second name here because I thought everybody would be on Yosheva's, but apparently I'm super high on him. But I think the underrated one is Isaiah Hodgins and I had him really high in my Ranks last week as in to say he was a wide receiver five super high. That should have been higher. The Giants have some fascination with this dude. Every time they bring him back, they bring him back as a top three wide receiver. Only three wide receivers were on the field for the Giants the entire game last week. Wandell, Robinson, Jalen, and Hodgins. And Hodgins was actually the number two. So I don't care if it's Dart or if it's Jameis, he's going to be out there. As a team where people are looking for desperation plays with all the injuries and all the people on by, I have Hodgins as a fringe wide receiver for his wide receiver 4 or 5 range, there's plenty of risk, but they just love using him when he's back on the team.
B
Yeah, now you get Jameis Winston as well slinging it over there. So I'm here for it. Hodgins back with the Giants last week reminds me of like when you go out the night before Thanksgiving in your hometown local bar and you see like an old flame from high school and you're just like, oh, wow, I kind of forgot you existed.
A
I thought it was going to be even worse than that.
B
Seth.
A
I was going to say Isaiah Hodgins is the giant drunk. Tex, at 3am you up like that's what it is. That's 100% what it is.
B
I could get behind that. I drafted a lot of Isaiah Hodgins off that breakout year he had with the Giants. I can't remember if that was was 23, maybe coming into 2024, maybe 2022 coming into 2023. Either way, I got burned the next year by him. But I'll buy back in here. I picked up Isaiah Hodges after listening to you on the waiver wire episode earlier this week, Jake, so I appreciate that.
A
Of course. Think about this way. Would you rather play Isaiah Hodgins or Jerry Judy? Wished her Sanders. Actually Jerry Judy, period.
C
Judy.
A
I'd rather one good game.
B
One, I'd rather roster Jerry Judy and trade him for anything and play over Isaiah Hodges. But I'd still play Hodgins, I think over over Judy. Or at least think about it, guys. Let's go ahead though. Let's get to the start sit debates and let's start at the running back position where we have Zach Charbonnet of the Seattle Seahawks against Kyle Menangai of the Chicago Bears. This is really like Touchdown Vulture versus Touchdown Vulture. Sharbs is ECR RB28 coming in, averaging 9.6 points per game on the season. He's on the road in a great matchup against the Titans. Manangai. He rolls in as the RB34 in ECR, averaging 12.4 points per game over the last five weeks. And he takes on the up and down Pittsburgh Steelers defense at home. Fitz, do you have a play between Sharbs and Manangai?
C
It's Charbonnet. I know Seattle head coach Mike McDonald said after the loss to the Rams last week that Walker is quote, earning more opportunities to get the ball.
B
Believe it when I see it.
C
So yeah, so maybe, maybe we get a big, big Kenneth Walker workload spike this week. But I don't know. In a game where the Seahawks are favored by almost two touchdowns against the Titans defense that has allowed the six most fantasy points per game to running backs, I think there's going to be enough work for both Walker and Charbonnet. And look, I know everyone thinks Charbonnet is terrible because he's averaging 3.3 yards per carry. Well, I mean he's been getting a lot of the short yardage carries exactly boxes. So he has been hit behind the line of scrimmage on 33% of his carries this year. Highest percentage of any running back in the league. So I don't think Charbonnet is a bad player. I think he's going to get some work in a really favorable matchup. I'm a Manangai fan, but I just think Charbonnet is a better percentage play.
B
Yeah, I do as well, specifically because I already laid the 13 and a half points with the Seattle Seahawks. So I am going in those waters. Jake, are you also taking a bath with Zach Charbonnet?
A
I am. And well, people know I'm taking the bath on the Kenneth Walker report that I gave at the beginning of August. So there's one right there. But it really comes down to everything Fitz said I said on my podcast yesterday. It was just the fact that we play this game with the Seahawks all the time. They talk like it almost feels like the fact that McDonald's talking up Walker, we should be like, okay, Charbonnet, RB1. Like we should just take the opposite. But it's like worst case scenario, they're still both going to be used. And that's where I'm with Fitz on this is that if I'm going for who's more likely percentage play to potentially see 8 to 10 touches and get in the end zone if both of them can do it. But it's the play is with Charbonnet for the higher likelihood.
B
Okay, let's get some deeper running backs who I think we're all a bit surprised that are this relevant here in week number 12, Devin Singletary of the New York Giants and Tyler Algier of the Falcons. Singletary is the ECR RB35 this week. He's averaged 11.7 fantasy points in the three games Cam Scatter Boo went down seeing a lot of the high leverage work. Tyler Algier, RB36 he has found Pater in six six times in the past seven games. So he's been terrific as far as vulturing all our Bijan Robinson touchdowns away and now he gets a really nice matchup against the Saints who have allowed a ton of touchdowns over the past month. Two opposing running backs. No Michael Penix Jr. No Drake London. Does that make it Algier over Singletary this week for you, Jake?
A
So it's funny like Kafka took over and it was like hey, we watched Dable keep using Singletary with his fascination and Kafka did the whole hold my beer because I'm going to do it even more. It was a 5050 split. The crazy thing about it is that Tracy still does not have a single carry touch inside the 10 this year. Like whether it's Dable or Kafka, they continue to go to Singletary and of course Scatterby before that. Now I say all that to say it's Singletary as of today. If Jackson Dart is back this week, I would actually pivot off of this because I don't care. Cam Newton, Josh Allen, like we could go down the list like even Jane and D like no matter how many times we have the conversation, they need to stop running, they need to stop taking contact, they need to stop. They need to stop. They need to stop. The quarterbacks are going to do what they're going to do, they're going to run. Maybe Jackson Dart slides a little bit more in the middle of the field but when we get inside the 10 that's going to limit the potential Devon Singletary opportunities enough that right now it's a toss up and I'm leaning for Singletary that if Jackson Dart is back I would actually switch over to Algier even though I'm deathly afraid of Kirk Cousins and what he's going to do that offense.
B
Yeah, it's been 15 of 18 red zone touches Singletary has taken since Scatter Boo went down over Tracy. So definitely seeing some of that high value touches. Does that make him a start over Algier for you, Pat? No.
C
And Jake makes a really good point. I think Jackson Dart probably is a net negative for Devin Singletary, even if he's a net positive for the offense, just because Singletary has been the preferred goal line guy. Also not great to have a matchup against Detroit when you're getting so much of your value from touchdowns. I mean, Detroit's allowed five touchdown runs to running backs this season. So the more the Falcons can take the ball out of Kirk Cousins hands, the better off they're going to be crazy. So I would expect both Bijan Robinson and Tyler Algier to get a lot of work against the Saints this week. I'm going Algier here.
B
Yeah, Algier over three to one to get in the end zone again. The Saints have allowed a running back to score a touchdown in four straight games. So just saying. Maybe worth a little sprinkle this week.
C
I would say so.
B
Wow. Let's go ahead and get to the wide receiver debate. Starting with a couple of teams. Wide receiver twos in an NFC north showdown, it's Christian Watson of the packers versus the Vikings. Jordan Addison. Watson, currently the ECR wide receiver, 26, averaging 11.9 points per game in his four games since returning from the injury. Jordan Addison, ECR wide receiver, 28, averaging 12.6 points per game in seven games since being back from suspension. Pat, do you have a lean between your boy Christian Watson and Jordan Addison?
C
Yeah, I do. I've. I've got Watson ranked higher. I've got Watson wide receiver 25, Addison wide receiver, 30. I think Addison is a better wide receiver than Christian Watson is. That's no slight against Watson. I just think Addison is terrific and if he were in a different situation, we might be talking about him as a wide receiver one for fantasy. But he's not in a different situation. He has to compete with Justin Jefferson for targets. And Addison is currently saddled with J.J. mcCarthy as his quarterback. And really, McCarthy has been the bigger of those two problems for Addison. Addison is averaging 7.3 targets in the three games he's played with McCarthy. That's perfectly fine. He's only been able to catch seven of those 23 targets. That is a 31.8% catch rate for those of you scoring at home. And Addison is averaging 4.7 yards per target on throws from J.J. mcCarthy. So Watson is the far better quarterback. And Jordan Love give me Watson.
B
Okay, Jake, how do you feel about this one? I talked a lot with Andrew Erickson earlier this week on the trade episode that maybe there is a second half breakout coming from or JJ McCarthy and Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison will follow suit. I just don't know if it's here against the Packers. What do you think?
A
Yeah, I actually, I chuckle because I have Watson at 25, just like Fitz. I actually even have Addison lower than he does at 33. And it really comes down to McCarthy. Like when I did my discord chat at the Athletic. I love smashing up player names. And it's like I said this about McCarthy when he came out of college and everybody hated me for it. And I'm not victory lapping. He still has plenty of time to improve. We've seen this from quarterbacks all the time. But I said the difference is like he's Taylor Heinecke with a sick arm, like a Colin Kaepernick arm. And somebody in the chat said, call him Colin Heineken. And I was like, I like it. It's Colin Heinecke. Because you watch it, he fastballs. Part of the reason things are off target, 50% on target to Jefferson, by the way, which is part of the reason Jefferson's getting killed, is that he doesn't have any touch. And I don't know if it's because he's overthinking, he's pressing, he's got the pressure on him. He knows he's playing poorly. Whatever it is. J.J. mcCarthy, let's be honest, stinks right now. Like, he's one of the worst throwing quarterbacks in the NFL. He's down there at the bottom, honestly. J.J. mcCarthy versus Dylan Gabriel. The passers, they're about the same right now. There's plenty of time to improve. Kevin o' Connell, I would want as my quarterback coach. I would want Jefferson and Addison. All that being said, this is why I'm with Fitz on it. Christian Watson, I just did a video is like, why is he still out there? And I know waivers have changed, but the waiver show, why was he still out there in 65% of leagues preview this week we finally got Christian Watson doing Christian Watson things. We finally have it happen. People are like, burned me too many times. I don't want him. Christian Watson, I have a 25, 100% with Fitz on this one.
C
Yeah. So, Jake, I was listening to the Athletic football show the other day with Robert Mays and my good buddy Michael Beller produces that one. They were talking about JJ McCarthy and you mentioned Colin Kaepernick. That was one of the comparisons they made. Was it JJ McCarthy guy who just doesn't only has that one speed only knows how to rocket it doesn't have any touch. The other comparison, Trey Lance, like that was the other comparison they made with what they're seeing out of J.J. mcCarthy. So those are two pretty frightening comparisons.
B
Wow. I'm not going to give up just quite yet on JJ McCarthy just because like the guy didn't get to take any practice reps as a rookie, right? And he's missed half this season with injury. So like I still think there's a chance but I do agree the touch has to get better and I don't think he ever really had that at Michigan, but I don't think I ever asked to use touch at Michigan that.
A
Much and he wasn't asked to throw that much in Michigan. Like if like as somebody who wasn't a fan of McCarthy and I want to apologize for him, he was clearly somebody that should have sat possibly two years like the injury regardless, like he needed clear and still needs clear development and hopefully Kevin o', Connell, he's quarterback whisperer. But to your Trey Lance call well guess their trail Lance call out fits if that was always my thing. If Shanahan couldn't fix Lance, why did anybody else think they were going to get the better version of T.R.
B
Lance? Yeah, well Jerry Jones, baby. He also thought he could fix Jonathan Mingo for a fourth round, right?
A
So that's just how it goes.
B
Let's get into some deeper wide receiver territory all the way down to wide receiver fours because we're just at the point in the season where I don't know about you but I need some plays and and I think these two wide receivers are at least in the mix this week, including Luther Burton III of the Chicago Bears and of course Carolina Panthers Xavier Leggette. Burden ECR wide receiver 43. He's averaging 5.7 points per game, but finally looks like he has overtaken Zacchaeus for the slot roll and now he gets the Steelers at home. Leggette is the ECR wide receiver 44. He's averaging 7.6 points per game. He's coming off his second finish of wide receiver 13 or better this season and he gets a really nice matchup against the 49ers secondary on Monday Night Football. Jake Leggett or Burden for you.
A
So I'm going to kind of like one is do we 100% know league gets playing and so like that obviously that assuming he is and but you don't want to like if we don't get word by Friday and like you with the Monday night game so if Legit was playing, like right now, I don't have him in there. I actually have Jalen Coker back to back with Burn.
B
You can also play Coker if you'd rather play Coker.
A
Yeah, well. So like. Well, no, because I was going to say Aaron, if Glee gets okay, I don't want either one of them. Like, that's the thing. It's like I want Legue without Coker and I want Coker without Leguette. I don't want him bold because I don't trust Bryce Young to have another Bryce Young greatest performance of his career like he did last week. So it comes down to the quarterback situation. And I know that the Panthers have the better matchup, but I trust Caleb Williams more, which might sound crazy to some people, but I just trust him more. Even against the Steelers. The one area like we've talked about a lot with Fitz is like, they are more. More vulnerable to the past than they are to the run. Although they have been playing better as of late. But I want to. Worm never gets this reference because he never saw X Files, but maybe you have, even though you were born in the late 90s. Is like, I want to believe. I actually want to believe that they're telling the truth. And they are going to start using Luther Borden Moore because they started last week. As you mentioned, he took the slot roll from Zacchaeus, and with how bad DJ Moore has been this year, maybe he starts pushing DJ Moore as the second most valuable wide receiver. The biggest problem with Burden is that there's too many options on offense that doesn't regularly throw 300 yards per game. That's what killed Loveland. Loveland was fun until Cole Comet was on the field and now he's dead again. So I want to. And I think the higher ceiling for me, and maybe Fitzs it different, but I think the higher ceilings with Burden and that's why I would go. If I'm chasing wide receivers this low, I'm going ceiling, and I'm going ceiling with Burden.
B
Okay. I have seen the X Files, by the way, but I think it was like the. That they just launched.
A
I mean, at least you know it. At least you get the reference. Have you been to Taco Bell? So you're already better than Worm. So there you go.
B
Worm has never been to Taco Bell.
A
Really? You didn't know that? Yeah.
B
Geez. Okay. All right. Well, I see he was. He was raised on the silver, actually.
A
I'll give you. I'll give you a super bonus. Do you actually get my shirt. Do you understand it?
B
It's a Tootsie Pop commercial. Is that right?
A
No, no, that's not.
B
Okay. Okay. I thought it was like Tootsie Pops and like the chameleon.
A
Oh, I can see that. Yeah.
C
I was wondering about that. That's. That's fantastic.
B
What about for you, Burden or Leggette?
C
I'm with Jake Unburden here and Jake sort of pointed it out like, yes, he's past the caves, but that might not necessarily mean a snapshare above 50% because the Bears do go with two tight ends a lot with Colston Loveland and Cole Comet. But still, like, I'm optimistic that Burden snapshare is going to tick upward from the 40 plus percent it's been at the last couple of weeks. And I think Burden is the kind of player who can make a lesser snapchair work because Ben Johnson is going to find ways to scheme touches for him. So I'll take him with his upside. I just one, I don't really believe in Xavier Leggett the player. Two, like, like Tedro McMillan clearly the number one option. And the 49ers have just been getting crushed by slot receivers, so I think Jalen Coker is like the number two guy this week. And that just leaves, you know, Leggett as a number three option I don't really believe in.
B
Last thing I'll say on the Panthers is, did you guys see the clip of Rico Dowdle, like calling a shot that he wanted to screen pass late in that game last week and said, hey, if they come up, like, we got to throw the screen. And. And it was just great. Did you see that at all? He was Mike for it. It was fantastic.
A
Yeah, it was basically. Yeah, it was kind of.
B
Yeah. I just love savvy players. I love savvy players who are willing to call their shot and coaches who will listen to their players is even better. So really like what Carolina is doing right now. Gentlemen, let's get to some rapid fire start sit decisions. Starting at the running back position, we have Kareem Hunt ECR RB23 against the Colts or Alvin Kamara who's coming off to buy ECR RB25 against Atlanta. Fitz, Hunt or Kamara? A battle of the 2017 rookies.
C
If Isaiah Pacheco doesn't play, I'll take Hunt just because he'll have a much better chance of scoring a touchdown than Camara would. But if Pacheco plays and the fantasy pros are they playing Tool was giving Pacheco a 71% chance as of Thursday morning. Then you have to go with Camara here. And it's funny, I thought Camara was droppable a few weeks ago, but then he had 83 rushing yards and 32 receiving yards in his last game and now I'm starting to wonder if Tyler Schuck might be a better quarterback for Camara than Spencer Rattler was because Schuck seems much more willing to throw it downfield and maybe that loosens up defenses a little bit and gives Camara more room to operate.
B
Yeah, I tried fading the Saints in that matchup against the Panthers so he shuck definitely showed me that. Jake, where are you at on Hunt and Kamara?
A
Same as Fitz and the fact that I don't have Pacheco in the ranks right now. So I have Hunt at 23 and Camara at 26. They're probably pushed Hunt just right behind him kind of back into the probably Rashad White. Rashad White is there with no Bucky Irving. So the Ramon Dre Stevenson's, the Tyrone Tracy's Tootin's of the world where they're still upside there. But I'm with Fitz. That that would be the difference maker right now.
B
I hate Kareem Hunt.
C
Man.
B
I drafted this guy like everywhere and then he scored like three and four points the first two weeks. I knew Pacheco wasn't going to have like the full roll to himself but. But I was just like ah, maybe I just don't want like the the backup running back for the Chiefs and I dropped him after week two and he's been pretty darn good since.
A
So toast to start the year. So yeah, I mean it's hard.
B
Yeah. Yeah. Let's go to the wide receiver position. Khalil Shakir, ECR wide receiver, 29 against Houston in Houston and then Ricky Pearsall coming back, second game since being reactivated. ECR wide receiver 30 against the Panthers. Fitz, are you going with Pearsall on Monday Night football or Shakira against the Texans.
C
I'm going with Shakir. I know we laid an egg last week. One catch for negative three yards. But in the three games before that Shakira had 20 catches. So look, if you're an underdog in your matchup, maybe you should try to throw the haymaker with Piersol. But if you're a favorite or even money like I just go with the safer floor of Shakir. Even though the floor last week turned out to be kind of a trapdoor.
B
Jake.
A
Yeah, I've actually been getting a lot of hate for my pushback on Shakir is like his four isn't even that good this year. He has three top 30 performances. Three. And I'm not even just like throw out last week he has a 40, 47, 52, 105 and we do like Shakir is not 20, 24 Shakir. But even so as somebody that's been like hey, maybe Shakir and I got the pushback. As I said, in a 10 team league he's arguably droppable. If you're shooting for ceiling and that's where I agree. I thought Fitz set it up perfectly. That was going to be my argument. If you went to me first, I'm taking Shakira. But if you're shooting for the ceiling, I think in this scenario the ceiling is pearsall.
B
Okay, let's go to some flex debate. Starting with David Montgomery ECR RB22 going up against the Giants and DK Metcalf ECR wide receiver 22 against Chicago. Christmas of course came early for us Yinzers and we got Mason Rudolph under center. So Jake, are you going Monty or Metcalf?
A
Fitz knows if he read my article where I'm going with this and it was with David Montgomery. Backup running backs have been scoring and having double digit performance against the Giants, let alone the lead options. Everybody talks about the Bengals and face the Bengals, face the Bengals, face the Bills, face the you know who's right there with them. The Giants run defense is in the conversation with the Bills and the Bengals and it's weird that they don't ever really get brought up in that fashion as they've been obliterated since basically about week five. They actually have the second worst rush EPA on defense only outside of the Bengals. The Bills are actually third. So I am playing running backs of David Montgomery's ilk in a game where would we be shocked that the Lions are up by three scores and Montgomery gets a touchdown or two in the second half. Yeah, I'M going Dave Montgomery in this one.
B
What about you, Fitzy?
C
I am agreeing with Jake again. Jake, we're agreeing so much.
A
Have we disagreed today?
C
I know. I think it's because Seth is a uniter and Worm is a divider. Concluded here. Yeah. Montgomery. The Lions are at home at Ford Field, the Coors Field of the NFL. Double digit favorites against the Giants, who have the worst run defense in the league by dvoa, even worse than the Bengals. I know Montgomery's usage last week was concerning seven touches. Only played 39% of the snaps. But did the lesser usage from Montgomery benefit the lions? They scored nine points, so Monty's averaging 12.5 touches a game. I'm not worried about the usage. And DK since week seven. DK is wide receiver, 54 in half point, PPR fantasy points per game, 39 yards per game over that stretch. And the Bears have been a great passing game matchup because they've been playing without their two best cornerbacks, Kyler Gordon and Jalen Johnson. It's possible they get one or both of those guys back this week. And if Jalen Johnson is able to play, he'd probably be covering Metcalf quite a bit. And Jalen Johnson is one of the better outside corners in the league.
B
Okay, well, maybe it means I also made the questions too easy, but maybe I'll get you guys to divide on these last few here. Starting with another flex, Theo Johnson. He is the ECR tight end 10 at Detroit. And then we also have D.J. moore, ECR wide receiver, 36 in that same matchup against the Steelers. Pat, are you on Moore or Theo?
C
Oh, man, I can't even believe this is where we're at with DJ Moore debating whether to start him as a flex over Theo Johnson, a tight end who's had more than 55 receiving yards twice in 23 career games. 23 games, two times over 55 yards. As bad as it's been for D.J. moore this season, and I'm taking him over Theo. The Steelers have been getting smoked by perimeter receivers like all. All year, so I got to go with DJ Moore.
B
Is this the one? Jake, are you going a different direction?
A
We finally disagree. Finally. I don't want. I mean, this is. This is probably. I was looking at the list. This is probably the toughest one. DJ Moore, though, you know how many times he's finished as a top 25 wide receiver? The same amount of times he's caught a touchdown once. That's how bad it's been. Like he's got more finishes outside the top 40 than he inside the top 40. To give you an idea by almost double like it's been DJ Moore is non existent. If we didn't know the name was DJ Moore, we wouldn't be talking about him. Like this wouldn't be a conversation we have on any shows. And I understand where Fitz is coming from. This is another one where I think it's the ceiling is clear with DJ like DJ Moore. If wouldn't be shocked if he had his first hundred touch or 100 yard game and a touchdown. That's not just ha. That's not going to happen for the O Johnson. So that's where you come down to like what's the more likelihood for the ceiling? It's still DJ Moore but Theo Johnson even like I know the what Fitz said but in the matchup they still have zero options. I mean I was just talking about Isaiah Hodgins as an option for the Giants, right?
C
Yeah.
A
So I'm leaning to Theo Johnson as the floor play. DJ Moore is the ceiling. Just because I wouldn't be surprised if DJ Moore is also phased out at this point.
B
All right, here's another one also including a Johnson. But it's Tez Johnson, the rookie for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ECR Wide receiver 34 at the range Rams and Ty J. Spears who has slowly become a very much capable fixture of this Tennessee backfield, if you want to call it that. And ECR RB32 against Seattle, Jake Tez Johnson, Ty J. Spears.
A
So you could argue this one is floor versus ceiling too. But when the floor is like five, six points, I'm just going to go Tez Johnson and like everybody's bitter and upset about Tess Johnson last week even with Baker's game and everything, like he's a wide receiver four. Like understand wide receiver fours. And we, Fitz and I, we talked about this weeks ago and I talked about on the waiver shows like it's okay for wide receiver fours to have bad games. They are going to have probably about 50, 50. I'm not coming for anybody with that one. I'm just saying that like I'm going back to Tez Johnson and even if he has another bad game, but that's because I'm understanding Tess Johnson's a wide receiver four. And that's the upside. You play here. If the floor with Tajie Spears was nine or 10 points, I would argue for Spears, but it's not, it's five or six. So in that case I'm just going to shoot for the ceiling. Because five or six points is not winning your matchup. If that's the difference, then like you had other problems.
B
Yeah, Fitz does a potential negative game script for Taije Spears lead to more pass catching and make him the better play over Tez for you? Or is it still Taz?
C
You could tell that story, Seth, but as intrigued as I am by Tajie Spears in his skill set, I do not want to play a platoon running back on a team with an implied Vegas point total of 13 and a half points going up against Seattle, which has one of the best defenses in the league. So I know Tez bricked last week, but he had been pretty steady over the previous month. I'm with Jake on Taz here.
B
Okay, here's another flex Discussion Darnell Mooney, ECR Wide Receiver 33 at New Orleans this guy's been absolutely atrocious. I don't think he's at double digit points all season long, but the opportunity is there. Suddenly with Kirko Chains back under Center Zonavin Knight aka Bam Knight ECR RB31 he's going up against Jacksonville in a good matchup. Maybe a Trey Benson sighting. We're not totally sure with that. So Fitz, I know this is probably a loaded one, but Knight against Mooney, what do you have?
C
All right, so I am going to rank Bam Knight as if Trey Benson's not playing this week.
B
Okay.
C
I am still going to go with Mooney and I know he has been banged up and ineffective this season and I think Kirk Cousins looks pretty cooked at this point. But maybe, just maybe, Darnell Mooney gets like half of the sort of usage bump we saw with Michael Wilson last week. With the number one receiver out of the picture, no Drake London, maybe Mooney gets 10 targets and does something with them. I'm just not that excited about playing Bam Knight against a pretty tough Jacksonville run defense. The Jags have allowed the fourth fewest fantasy points per game to running back. So I'll go Mooney here.
B
Jake, we obviously didn't know about the injury to Darnell Mooney being his collarbone. We knew he was banged up in the preseason. Comes out later in the season that he actually suffered a broken bone in that collarbone. So what are your thoughts here on Mooney and Zonovin Knight?
A
Yeah, I want to sound like I'm straddling the fence and taking the pass on this one, but I get Fitz argument and this one comes down to basically this is where I would say if you need the floor, it's with Bam Knight mostly because it's no Benson assumingly as of today, but no Benson. And we already know DeMarcado's out so like we know Bam's going to get the workload but it's now we're talking about the conversation I just had with Spears. Now we are talking 8, 10, maybe even 12 points. But if you need the ceiling play with Darnold Mooney, the risk is that Darnold Mooney, even with all that volume and all that attention and that Kirk Cousins is toast and he puts up a Shakira like game. Like that's just a risk here.
B
Yeah, and keep in mind too, Bam Knight had like a 60 yard run for a touchdown called back last week or he would have even had a bigger week. So I do agree. I think he is the floor play, but ceiling probably does lie with the Mooney let's go to quarterbacks Jacoby Brissette, ECR QB 10 against Jacksonville and Baker Mayfield. So I'm surprised we're having this discussion. But ECR QB 13 at the Rams, Jake Brissette, Baker, how do you sort this one out?
A
Baker started running again last week. I get the matchup, but we just played this game with like last week. Like I don't understand the hate for Baker Mayfield. He had two bad games but that was his two bad games of the season. He's been a QB1 in top 10 almost the entire rest of the year. And if he's going to start running again, I mean that was the appeal that we had for Baker Mayfield for last year carrying over to this season. I understand the appeal of Jacoby Brissette, but at the same time we've said it multiple times on this show. Fets has even just said it just now is that the Jaguars defense is underrated as an aspect of the fact that they're a pretty tough defense to face. And I'm not scared of the Jaguars. But I'm just saying at the same time like even If Brissette throws 40 times, that doesn't necessarily mean as good as Brissette looks, as somebody on this very episode talked positively about Brissette that I want to start Brissette over Baker Mayfield. I trust Baker Mayfield. I had him as a top 10. I was one of the highest people on Baker Mayfield last week. And I'm not saying to be like ha ha. It's just it felt weird. Like why do we keep doubting Baker Mayfield? Like he's not going to be perfect. QB's are not going to be perfect. But I trust him.
B
Yeah, Fitz this is usually the spot. You like Baker, right? An underdog team's a little banged up up going on the road and do you like him enough over Brissette though?
C
I don't. I am going to take Brissette here. Oh, okay. So I mean one of the things with, with Baker Mayfield, Jake, is that over his last four games, 5.7 yards per pass attempt like the, the Buccaneers passing game has been kind of dysfunctional lately. And the Rams defense like that, they are a tough matchup. 5th lowest opponent passer rated in the league and they're giving up the sixth fewest fantasy points per game. The quarterbacks. Now I agree with you that maybe the Jags D is a little underrated. Although I think part of the reason it's fared well and why the Jags are pretty good in opponent passer rating is like they've, they've had a lot of takeovers or takeaways this year turnovers. So they are however giving up 20.7 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. 5th most in the league. League. And the Jaguars have a run funnel defense teams are throwing on them 63.6% of the time. Only the Colts have faced a higher passing rate by opponents. So I'm going to go with Brissette here. I just, I, I think there is a good chance that we get those 40 plus pass attempts from him.
B
All right, what about these tight ends? And there are a couple of tight ends that a couple years ago we were drafting as tight end two, tight end three and now we're just saying can we start them? Kyle Pitts, ECR tight end 9 at the Saints and Mark Andrews, ECR tight end 11 against the New York Jets. Fitz Andrews, Pitts. How do you see this one shaking out?
C
I'm going Pitts. I mean I do think Mark Andrews has the better odds of scoring a touchdown, but the target and reception outlook is just far, far better for Kyle Pitts with Drake London out of the picture this week.
B
Okay, what about you, Jake?
A
Yeah, I'm going Pitts slightly over Mark Andrews. But I mean Mark Andrews has the touchdown outside. Pitts has the assumed volume. But Kirk Cousins wasn't a huge fan of Pitts before when he was there. But we do have no Drake Lond so it's assumed that he's going to be the number two. But I have him super close. If you want to argue for Andrews that this is one where like it's almost a toss up in my own heart.
B

C
I say that Aaron Jones gets into the end zone against his old team in Green Bay and we will get a moment of suspense as Jones decides whether to do the Lambo leap as a member of the enemy side. I think he'll do a Lambo leap if he scores.
B
Okay, I am going with my hometown boy DK Metcalf. He's going off +160 for an anytime touchdown if you want to bet it. And as I mentioned, early Christmas came early for the Yinzers. I don't think Mason Rudolph at quarterback in Chicago is going to be such a bad thing if you go back. You know I'm peeling back the curtain a little bit to all the way to 2013, but if you go all the way back there, George Pickens, who's a similar style wide receiver to Metcalf in two or three three games to end the season with Mason Rudolph in that 2023 season, he was an absolute stud. He had one game, four for 195 on six targets, two touchdowns, seven for 131 on nine targets. Rudolph's just a very comfortable quarterback playing in this Steeler system even though it's different than when he used to be here. But I think he plays in timing well. I think he could DK on a slant that goes all the way. So teams x wide receivers, they've gone over 50 yards receiving in five straight games against the base Bears. They have found the end zone four times in that span as well. Jake, where are you going on your touchdown call?
A
Yeah, I mean it's tight end so why not just go super deep on this one And I'm looking at the targets from last week in a similar situation. I like attacking the Eagles defense for tight ends when we can and I'm attacking the Giants because they're similar tight end defense where like they just get that open space especially since they lost Newman and with a it doesn't look like Holland's necessarily 100% coming back from his injury, and tight ends have started doing more against them in the second half of the season when they started having all these injuries. But Brock Wright 7 targets last week, and I'm not saying like, oh, he's guaranteed to have seven targets again. But going against the Giants defense, if I'm going to like a sleeper deep tight end call at it's tight end, I don't want to take the obvious ones because every time I take the obvious one, the obvious one doesn't hit anyway. So I'm going Brock right to get into the end zone against the Giants. As in, I mean, it's Dan Campbell and Jared Goff. You don't think that coming off that shellac. Well, I mean just, I don't even call it a shellacking. It's just nothing was good in that game. They don't want to put up 40 points in their following game to be like, haha, we're still the Lions at home. Yeah, I'll take this game.

Too much good stuff. This is an iHeart podcast.
This episode delivers sharp fantasy football advice for Week 12 with a focus on start/sit decisions, waiver wire pickups, and player debates. Seth, Jake, and Pat guide listeners through the fantasy football minefield of injuries, emerging waiver-wire heroes, and tough lineup calls, while also injecting banter and holiday spirit. Notable highlight: their “Flag Plant Players” and a series of rapid-fire start/sit debates to help set your winning lineups for this critical fantasy week.
“It could be a 75/25 split in Wilson’s favor. It could be more like 60/40, or 55/45... Matt LaFleur just goes with the hot hand.” (07:23)
“All these handcuffs in the world need to be on rosters ... Back-end RB2 for me.” (09:18)
“Wide receiver two with WR1 upside, but a WR4 floor.” (10:46)
“I think I underestimated Michael Wilson... last week Wilson looked very legit...” (11:37)
“[Tucker] could ... be excited for, but there's still risk baked in here.” (15:40)
“Gainwell has been fantastic whenever Warren has been out... That dual run/catch usage is really attractive.” (18:09)
“I think Brock Purdy might get thrust into a lot of shootouts down the stretch...” (25:04)
“Would you rather play Isaiah Hodgins or Jerry Jeudy? ...I think I'd rather play Hodgins...” (28:09)
On Michael Wilson’s breakout:
“No one in the fantasy community was talking about or debating Emmanuel Wilson this summer... and now this week he was the darling of the waiver wire.” – Pat (05:09)
Jake on the perils of late-season RB adds:
“We do not want to be chasing all of our fab on Emmanuel Wilson, which could blow up in our face anyway...” (07:43)
Pat on Charbonnet hate:
“He’s been getting a lot of short yardage carries ... hit behind the line of scrimmage on 33% of his carries this year, highest in the league.” (29:20)
Jake’s humor on Isaiah Hodgins:
“Isaiah Hodgins is the Giant drunk text at 3am—‘you up?’—that’s what it is.” (27:39)
On Jordan Addison’s struggle with J.J. McCarthy:
“31.8% catch rate ... 4.7 yards per target on throws from McCarthy ... Watson is the far better quarterback.” – Pat (34:18)
Jake’s blunt QB evaluation:
“J.J. McCarthy, let’s be honest, stinks right now. Like, he’s one of the worst throwing QBs in the NFL.” (36:15)
Jake, on being bold with deep WRs:
“If I’m chasing wide receivers this low, I’m going ceiling, and I’m going ceiling with Burden.” (41:00)
Consistently friendly, slightly irreverent, and practical—with fit doses of self-deprecation and inside jokes. The group balances sharp, trustworthy analysis with a playful tone that keeps things lively:
“Jake, we’re agreeing so much. I think it’s because Seth is a uniter and Worm is a divider!” – Pat (47:53)
“I actually have Jalen Coker back to back with Burden...if Glee gets ok, I don’t want either one of them.” – Jake (39:38)
